<v Speaker 1>today's episode, we have Lynn from New Hampshire and she
<v Speaker 1>has a lot of bigfoot encounters and experiences to share
<v Speaker 1>with us today. And I think you guys will find
<v Speaker 1>this encounter story to be very interesting because it's very
<v Speaker 1>detailed and it goes in depth to a lot of
<v Speaker 1>things that are taking place all around the world. Lynn
<v Speaker 1>had an eyesighting encounter when she was a little girl
<v Speaker 1>with her father when they were forging for wild edibles
<v Speaker 1>and they also had brook trout with them and they
<v Speaker 1>left the food and left the area because they felt
<v Speaker 1>like they were in danger. Lynn has also seen the
<v Speaker 1>sasquatch around her property. They will come up to the
<v Speaker 1>house and wiggle the door handle and slap the side
<v Speaker 1>of the house. Lynn had a very terrifying encounter one
<v Speaker 1>day and she claims that she didn't go outside for
<v Speaker 1>three days after that experience. Lynn's husband has also encountered
<v Speaker 1>these creatures and he witnessed one of them walking across
<v Speaker 1>the road one day and he described the creature looking
<v Speaker 1>both ways before it crossed the road. Have you had

<v Speaker 1>All right, with all that being said, let's dive into
<v Speaker 1>our next Bigfoot encounter from the state of New Hampshire. Lynn,
<v Speaker 1>Welcome to Sasquatch Theory. How are you doing today?
<v Speaker 2>I'm all right, how are you, Miguel? Thank you for
<v Speaker 2>having me.
<v Speaker 1>Doing pretty good and it's an absolute pleasure to have
<v Speaker 1>you on the show. Lynn, If you would tell me
<v Speaker 1>a little bit about yourself, where you're from, and your
<v Speaker 1>Bigfoot encounters and experiences from the very beginning.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I am Lynn. I am right now in New England,
<v Speaker 2>New Hampshire. I grew up also in New England over
<v Speaker 2>in Vermont, and now I've had a few sightings. I've
<v Speaker 2>had a few encounters, lots of vocalizations, a couple of
<v Speaker 2>urb encounters. But you know, the earliest that I remember
<v Speaker 2>was hiking with my father along a power line cut
<v Speaker 2>in the town that I grew up in in Vermont.
<v Speaker 2>And you know, Dad and I are just kind of
<v Speaker 2>heading out. We're going to go to an old fire
<v Speaker 2>tower and have a cookout at the firing that they
<v Speaker 2>had there, and Dad had brought his fishing pole and
<v Speaker 2>he was going to go ahead and you know, fish
<v Speaker 2>his way up there, and he told me to go
<v Speaker 2>ahead and picked some of the mushrooms that we knew
<v Speaker 2>and some of the berries so that we could have
<v Speaker 2>mushrooms all along with the fish and berries along with that.
<v Speaker 2>And we got up to the power line clearing and
<v Speaker 2>you know, there was a secondary reason Dad wanted to
<v Speaker 2>take that route because we had had a major storm
<v Speaker 2>come through in the summertime and a lot of those
<v Speaker 2>lines had been taken down and Dad was part of
<v Speaker 2>the power line crew that went and restrung that up,
<v Speaker 2>and he wanted to make sure that the bridge fixed
<v Speaker 2>as he called it, was still holding before the you know,
<v Speaker 2>the permanent part came in. So we were heading up
<v Speaker 2>there and I was happily picking berries and grabbing some
<v Speaker 2>of the mushrooms that I knew that we had usually harvested,
<v Speaker 2>and Dad was getting a little brook trout and he
<v Speaker 2>was putting them in a creole and we came up
<v Speaker 2>to where the trail turned right into the power line
<v Speaker 2>swatch and my dad just stopped, and from behind him,
<v Speaker 2>I saw this really really tall man that looked like
<v Speaker 2>he was wearing this black fur coat, you know, dark
<v Speaker 2>brown black fur coat, and he was heading back into
<v Speaker 2>the woods on the other side of the power line cut. Now,
<v Speaker 2>I must have been about eleven or twelve at the time,
<v Speaker 2>and my father just stopped cold, put his hand over
<v Speaker 2>my mouth, shoved me behind him, told me don't say
<v Speaker 2>a word, and we kind of he kind of pushed
<v Speaker 2>me backwards a little bit, and then he turned me
<v Speaker 2>around and again told me, don't say a word. Just
<v Speaker 2>give me all of the stuff that you've collected. He
<v Speaker 2>grabbed his you know, a little creole or basket or
<v Speaker 2>whatever you want to call it. I don't really know
<v Speaker 2>the term for it. That he had his fission, and
<v Speaker 2>he told me to put all those things right there
<v Speaker 2>on that rock, and you turn around without a sound,
<v Speaker 2>without a word, and we're going back the other way,
<v Speaker 2>and we're going back now. And yeah, I am he
<v Speaker 2>you know. I looked at him like, you've got to
<v Speaker 2>be crazy. I'm hungry. I want to eat this, and
<v Speaker 2>he gave me this look that told me I'm not
<v Speaker 2>messing around. You do as I say, young lady, And
<v Speaker 2>I started emptying my basket onto the rock where my
<v Speaker 2>father pointed, and he put all the fish out, and
<v Speaker 2>you know, he turned me around by the shoulders and
<v Speaker 2>pushed me along the path back down that mountain, and
<v Speaker 2>I don't know how long it was later, maybe half
<v Speaker 2>an hour. I looked up at him and he kind
<v Speaker 2>of stopped for a minute, and he knelt down to
<v Speaker 2>my level and he told me, there are things that
<v Speaker 2>live in the woods. There are people that live in
<v Speaker 2>the woods that are not our kind of people, but
<v Speaker 2>there are people, nonetheless, And that is what you saw.
<v Speaker 2>If you see another one that looks like that, you
<v Speaker 2>turn around and you walk away. If you have anything
<v Speaker 2>that you gathered from the woods, you leave it behind
<v Speaker 2>because this is their grocery store and they have a
<v Speaker 2>right to that food before we do. And you know,
<v Speaker 2>you know, well, he just kind of looked at me
<v Speaker 2>and told me that we were done the most part
<v Speaker 2>for the day. That once we got farther enough down
<v Speaker 2>that towards the neighborhood that we lived in, towards the house,
<v Speaker 2>we'd go ahead and pick more berries. And he was
<v Speaker 2>going to go ahead and grab enough fish, and that's
<v Speaker 2>what we were going to have for dinner. Mushrooms and
<v Speaker 2>fish and the berries that we picked along the way
<v Speaker 2>since our cookout at the top of the mountain and
<v Speaker 2>the fire tower was ruined. But I can remember the
<v Speaker 2>woods being very, very heavy. They were kind of off.
<v Speaker 2>They didn't feel like the woods usually did when Dad
<v Speaker 2>would take us out for walks in the woods to
<v Speaker 2>go gather things or to just check out the wildlife.
<v Speaker 2>And I don't remember hearing any birds until we got
<v Speaker 2>about three quarters the way back down came from and
<v Speaker 2>then it was like the whole world just lit back
<v Speaker 2>up again with you know, the sounds of the animals
<v Speaker 2>rustling in the bushes and the birds singing in the trees.
<v Speaker 2>And that was when my dad said, all right, you
<v Speaker 2>go ahead and get some berries. See what you can
<v Speaker 2>get your mother or pie, and we'll grab some more
<v Speaker 2>of those mushrooms, and I'm going to go fishing. And
<v Speaker 2>you know, that was the last Dad really talked about
<v Speaker 2>that trip. He did tell me if I had any
<v Speaker 2>more questions, I could come to him. Oh. This was
<v Speaker 2>a few weeks later, and we had this two story
<v Speaker 2>house and my bedroom, my siblings' bedrooms were up on
<v Speaker 2>the second floor. Mom and Dad were down on the
<v Speaker 2>first floor, and I can remember waking up in the
<v Speaker 2>middle of the night. I had to go to the bathroom,
<v Speaker 2>and I got up and I saw eyes staring at
<v Speaker 2>me from my bedroom window on the second floor, and
<v Speaker 2>I just started screwing. And my mother came upstairs and
<v Speaker 2>my dad came upstairs, and yeah, they told my mother
<v Speaker 2>kept telling me it was just a bad dream. It
<v Speaker 2>was just a bad dream. And my dad, he kind
<v Speaker 2>of walked over to the windows and he shut the
<v Speaker 2>curtains and he told me, from now on, we're going
<v Speaker 2>to keep whatever bad dreams are outside. You keep your
<v Speaker 2>curtain shut when you come up here at night, and
<v Speaker 2>that's going to keep all the bad dreams away, so
<v Speaker 2>you don't have any more nightmares. But Dad was kind
<v Speaker 2>of funny after that. And that was when we noticed
<v Speaker 2>that the mom's apple tree and her chair, you know,
<v Speaker 2>her pair tree and all the fruit that we were
<v Speaker 2>going to go ahead and can it was no longer
<v Speaker 2>there on the tree. And you mom had an apple
<v Speaker 2>tree that was like twenty feet tall. It was huge,
<v Speaker 2>it was old. It was there before we ever moved in,
<v Speaker 2>and there was not an apple left on that tree.
<v Speaker 2>And the night before it was full of apples that
<v Speaker 2>we were going to go ahead and make apple sauce
<v Speaker 2>and cut it up and put it aside and put
<v Speaker 2>by for the winter, you know, apple sauce and apple
<v Speaker 2>pie filling and all that sort of stuff. And nothing,
<v Speaker 2>no pears, no apples, no nothing, not even dropped apples
<v Speaker 2>on the ground for the deer. Nothing gone. Dad noticed
<v Speaker 2>two days later that the garden had been raided his
<v Speaker 2>The fence had been squashed down and the garden had
<v Speaker 2>been raided, and he was like, well, I guess that
<v Speaker 2>was stupid deer got everything. And yeah, as a kid,
<v Speaker 2>and I kind of like shrugged my shoulders believe what
<v Speaker 2>Dad and mom were telling us. And that was that that.
<v Speaker 2>Over the next couple of years, I started noticing that
<v Speaker 2>there were weird sounds that would come from the mountains
<v Speaker 2>around the house. There were, you know, screams in the
<v Speaker 2>middle of the night, and my dad will say, well,
<v Speaker 2>you know, maybe it's a bear, maybe it's a mountain lion.
<v Speaker 2>Although there's supposed to be extinct here, some weird animal
<v Speaker 2>up there. Don't know what it is, and you know,
<v Speaker 2>he just passed it off. But yeah, they would make
<v Speaker 2>sure that those kids were in before dark that's for sure,
<v Speaker 2>and that the house that they used to leave the
<v Speaker 2>doors unlocked at night, because you know, we grew up
<v Speaker 2>at a time where these were left in the ignition
<v Speaker 2>and the house was left open and windows were left open.
<v Speaker 2>You know, you'd leave for the day and the house
<v Speaker 2>was still be open and nobody ever bothered anything. But
<v Speaker 2>after that, Dad started locking doors and windows at night.
<v Speaker 2>And you know, that was the earliest that I can
<v Speaker 2>remember having activity of the neighbors in the woods and
<v Speaker 2>the first sighting that I ever had of a neighbor
<v Speaker 2>in the woods. My dad called them our woodland neighbors,
<v Speaker 2>and you know, that's what I referred to them, or
<v Speaker 2>woods people the other thing that I used to refer
<v Speaker 2>to them as. And to me, it was just like, okay,
<v Speaker 2>well whatever they're they're there. And you know, my dad
<v Speaker 2>used to me too, we don't talk about this to
<v Speaker 2>other people because other people don't think that there's anything
<v Speaker 2>out in the woods the size gear and bear and
<v Speaker 2>foxes and raccoons and stuff like that, and they're going
<v Speaker 2>to look at you like you're crazy, and they're going
<v Speaker 2>to make you feel like you're crazy. So just know what,
<v Speaker 2>you know, keep it in your heart and your mind
<v Speaker 2>that you know what you know and don't worry about
<v Speaker 2>trying to tell other people about what you know.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely, so your dad was well aware of these
<v Speaker 1>creatures and he had probably seen them before in the past.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, with the dad working on the line crew, absolutely,
<v Speaker 2>you know, they seen things when they were up stringing
<v Speaker 2>new power lines after storms and stuff like that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, And it makes sense the area that you guys
<v Speaker 1>had this bigfoot eye sighting at there was forest. I
<v Speaker 1>mean you're almost in Canada there, and then there's a
<v Speaker 1>power line strip. You had brook trout, which is one
<v Speaker 1>of sasquatch his favorite food, mushrooms and berries. I mean
<v Speaker 1>that's a recipe for sasquatch there.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah. I mean later on in life,
<v Speaker 2>Dad have told me about the footprints that he and
<v Speaker 2>the power line crew would see in the snow pot
<v Speaker 2>while they were stringing up new lines. He was talking
<v Speaker 2>about the pine cones and the rocks and stuff like
<v Speaker 2>that that would come raining down on them from time
<v Speaker 2>to time. And they were like, oh right, well, you
<v Speaker 2>know what, We'll just move on to another section and
<v Speaker 2>then give these people some time to clear their encampment
<v Speaker 2>out and then they would go back and they would
<v Speaker 2>to that spot and they would have no more problems
<v Speaker 2>because they had given them time to leave. And that
<v Speaker 2>said respect. You treat everything in the woods with respect. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Absolutely, I think it was a smart idea to leave
<v Speaker 1>the fish, mushrooms and berries on the rock and you
<v Speaker 1>guys went your own way. I mean, things could have
<v Speaker 1>went wrong, and I think that was the best move
<v Speaker 1>to make. It sounds like he knew what to do
<v Speaker 1>in that situation.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. He had said that he had encountered them from
<v Speaker 2>time to time since he was a teenage boy himself.
<v Speaker 2>He had always been told by his elders, you just
<v Speaker 2>leave what you've gathered, walk away, and when you know,
<v Speaker 2>when you start hearing the woods come alive around you again,
<v Speaker 2>when you know, you can go ahead and gather more
<v Speaker 2>and bring it home. What you left behind you don't need,
<v Speaker 2>but what you lean behind may get you out alive.
<v Speaker 1>Absolutely. And a few weeks later, you saw the eyes
<v Speaker 1>on the second story bedroom window. Do you think these
<v Speaker 1>creatures followed you home? And what did the eyes look like?
<v Speaker 2>They had this glow all to themselves. It was like
<v Speaker 2>this deep orange color. It was it was like they
<v Speaker 2>were lit up from inside. They were huge. Have you
<v Speaker 2>ever seen one of those property markers that has that
<v Speaker 2>like that red dot in the center The size of them, Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it was about that size. But it was like this
<v Speaker 2>fire orange, this you know, this burnt orange, dark orange.
<v Speaker 2>Now I can't come up with the the words to
<v Speaker 2>describe the color orange that they were, but it's like
<v Speaker 2>they glowed from inside, not outside inside.
<v Speaker 1>Like a glowing amber color.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, exactly. Now, my bedroom was about, you know, twelve
<v Speaker 2>feet up off the ground, fifteen feet up off the ground.
<v Speaker 2>I was on the second story, and these eyes were
<v Speaker 2>a good two feet up in the window, and my
<v Speaker 2>window was a good two and a half feet off
<v Speaker 2>of the second floor, you know, where the floor was
<v Speaker 2>on the second story. That window was about two and
<v Speaker 2>a half feet up off of the floor, so it
<v Speaker 2>wasn't like the floor to ceiling windows. And this thing
<v Speaker 2>was looking inside the window. Yeah. I can't tell you
<v Speaker 2>how terrified I was when I got to go to
<v Speaker 2>the bathroom and there was something looking at me from outside,
<v Speaker 2>and I mean it was The window was probably a
<v Speaker 2>good two two and a half feet wide too, and
<v Speaker 2>the eyes took up about a foot in the middle
<v Speaker 2>of that window.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's terrifying. So these things took food from the property,
<v Speaker 1>they raided the garden. Why do you think they did that?
<v Speaker 1>I mean, obviously they were hungry, But do you think
<v Speaker 1>they did it to like send a message to you
<v Speaker 1>or just simply to get food.
<v Speaker 2>I really don't know. I have no clue why they
<v Speaker 2>did what they did. They had never done it before,
<v Speaker 2>and they never did it again. You know, I can
<v Speaker 2>only guess now as an adult that it was directly
<v Speaker 2>related to my dad and I taking the hiking trip
<v Speaker 2>and still continuing to get food later on. Maybe they
<v Speaker 2>were still watching us from a distance all that we
<v Speaker 2>did take more food from what they thought was their source.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that could be the reason why. So what else
<v Speaker 1>happened throughout your life and what unfolded after this?
<v Speaker 2>Well, man, getting back to what my dad had been
<v Speaker 2>telling me, he said that there were a few times
<v Speaker 2>where he and some of his his buddies were hunting
<v Speaker 2>and they were fishing, and he says, They've had rocks
<v Speaker 2>thrown the boat while they were fishing. They've had screams
<v Speaker 2>from the shoreline where they were fishing, and they have
<v Speaker 2>had sightings while hunting, and you know, when they would
<v Speaker 2>see the forest people go up, you know, by their
<v Speaker 2>hunting stands. They knew that the hunting was over for
<v Speaker 2>that particular day.
<v Speaker 3>You know.
<v Speaker 2>My you know, my father said that, you know, when
<v Speaker 2>they would be in their hunting stands or their tim blinds,
<v Speaker 2>they would see or smell these things, and the woods
<v Speaker 2>would go deastly silent, and my Dad's like, yeah, the
<v Speaker 2>hunting's over for that day. They just you know, blew
<v Speaker 2>whatever we were going to try to get right out
<v Speaker 2>of water. And yeah, that was that. He'd come home
<v Speaker 2>with that look on his face. And my mother would
<v Speaker 2>tell him, you know, ask him if he had a
<v Speaker 2>good hunt, and he's like, well, no, you know, those
<v Speaker 2>neighbors they like to kind of ruined things occasionally for us.
<v Speaker 2>No dear for us today. But that didn't mean that
<v Speaker 2>Dad wouldn't come home with one later on in the season.
<v Speaker 2>But he said that it was, yeah, it was kind
<v Speaker 2>of dicey there a few times for them.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely.
<v Speaker 2>Andandfather and my grandfather he was born and raised in Georgia,
<v Speaker 2>and he used to tell us when we go down
<v Speaker 2>to visit him about the boogers. And my grandfather would
<v Speaker 2>make sure that we were in before nightfall. You know,
<v Speaker 2>as the sun was going to get down, we had
<v Speaker 2>to be in the yard as dusk was falling. It
<v Speaker 2>was on the porch or inside the house, and the
<v Speaker 2>moment it was nightfall, there was no going back outside,
<v Speaker 2>not for any reason for anybody until it was morning.
<v Speaker 2>You know. He used to tell us, you need to
<v Speaker 2>come in now or the boogers are going to get you.
<v Speaker 2>And he told me as an adult that he used
<v Speaker 2>to get chased out of his hunting and fishing spot areas.
<v Speaker 2>And you know, he used to hunt in the mountains
<v Speaker 2>of northern Georgia, and he said that he used to
<v Speaker 2>get chased out routinely in this one place that he
<v Speaker 2>would go and never did tell me where that one
<v Speaker 2>place was. He called it his honey hole, and he
<v Speaker 2>said he was keeping that to himself, but he would
<v Speaker 2>get chased out because I guess it was these things
<v Speaker 2>honey hole too, you know, but he said that he
<v Speaker 2>you know, growing up, they would have their gardens raided,
<v Speaker 2>they'd have their farm animals taken, they'd have their chicken
<v Speaker 2>coops broken into. He so one time they woke up
<v Speaker 2>in the morning and there was this huge, huge hole
<v Speaker 2>in the chicken coop roof, and about half of the
<v Speaker 2>fifty birds that they had there were gone, never saw
<v Speaker 2>them again. You know, their eggs would get raided, their
<v Speaker 2>gardens would get raided. And he said that they would
<v Speaker 2>hear a whole bunch of catterwalling going on at different
<v Speaker 2>points in time during the months, and they knew it
<v Speaker 2>was the boogers. You know, this is back in the
<v Speaker 2>early early nineteen hundreds, nineteen thirty nineteen, you know, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>mid to mid to late nineteen thirties. It is a
<v Speaker 2>period of time he was talking about.
<v Speaker 1>Oh wow, so the sasquatch activity has been taking place
<v Speaker 1>for a long time. And I find it interesting that
<v Speaker 1>he would call them the neighbors or forest neighbors, because
<v Speaker 1>they kind of are. I mean, they're a lot closer
<v Speaker 1>than what people think.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they are, there are now. My grandfather's experiences were
<v Speaker 2>down in the North Georgia Mountains because he was born
<v Speaker 2>and raised down in Georgia. And you know, my parents
<v Speaker 2>they moved up here to New England after growing up
<v Speaker 2>down in the south themselves. But so there's two different
<v Speaker 2>regions of the country that encounters in my family have happened.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, these things are all over Canada going down
<v Speaker 1>into Florida, and that just tells you right there that
<v Speaker 1>you can find the Sasquatch pretty much in any region
<v Speaker 1>of North America.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, I believe it. I believe that you can probably
<v Speaker 2>find them just about anywhere in the world you want
<v Speaker 2>to go if you look hard enough.
<v Speaker 1>Absolutely. Okay, Lene, So what else happened? And can you
<v Speaker 1>walk me through these experiences?
<v Speaker 2>Well, where my husband and I lived or lived and
<v Speaker 2>where we've raised our family over the past twenty years,
<v Speaker 2>it is like way out in the middle of pretty
<v Speaker 2>much nowhere. I'm not going to say where it is,
<v Speaker 2>but I have sent you personally the coordinate to where
<v Speaker 2>we are. We moved here twenty years ago, and the
<v Speaker 2>place that we moved to was this old rundown, dilapidated
<v Speaker 2>shell of a place that we bought as a fixer upper.
<v Speaker 2>And we never moved because we decided, you know, good soil,
<v Speaker 2>good ground, locked the room far away from the cities,
<v Speaker 2>don't have to deal with it. We like it here.
<v Speaker 2>We live off grade. But we started when we moved here,
<v Speaker 2>we started that was a thing that things were off,
<v Speaker 2>like we would hear the sound of somebody walking at
<v Speaker 2>night out from from the woods area out around the
<v Speaker 2>the house, walk up on the front porch, wiggle the
<v Speaker 2>door in a knob, and we'd go to see who
<v Speaker 2>it was, you know, who it was, and there was
<v Speaker 2>nothing there. But this thing kept happening for about a
<v Speaker 2>year year and a half and never did actually see
<v Speaker 2>what it was. But the footsteps were hard enough so
<v Speaker 2>that we could feel it slightly tremoring through the house. Now,
<v Speaker 2>we also would go outside forwards dusk and we'd start
<v Speaker 2>having rocks thrown at us and my father. You know,
<v Speaker 2>putting two and two together with my father's stories, I
<v Speaker 2>kind of went, all right, well, everybody and everything needs
<v Speaker 2>to be tucked in. As the sun's going down, we're
<v Speaker 2>going to leave nighttime for whatever it is. Let's say
<v Speaker 2>out there, we don't need to be going outside. And
<v Speaker 2>you know, pretty soon the rocks stopped unless we were outside,
<v Speaker 2>you know, having a Yeah, we sometimes go out and
<v Speaker 2>we'd light a fire and we'd sit around the fire ring,
<v Speaker 2>and that's sometimes when rocks and stuff would come in
<v Speaker 2>from the woods that are literally twenty feet away from
<v Speaker 2>the house, so we'd have rocks come in from that direction.
<v Speaker 2>Sometimes we'd have sticks come in from that direction and
<v Speaker 2>that's when we you know, put out the fire and
<v Speaker 2>my husband look at the woods. All right, all right,
<v Speaker 2>we're going, We're going, We're going. And if we didn't
<v Speaker 2>go in fast enough, in the middle of the night,
<v Speaker 2>while we were sleeping, we would hear this really loud,
<v Speaker 2>like a car hitting the house. The whole house would
<v Speaker 2>shudder and it would shake, and it was, you know,
<v Speaker 2>one of the most terrifying things to wake up probably
<v Speaker 2>think like a tree had just dropped on the house.
<v Speaker 2>And since we don't really live like right next to
<v Speaker 2>the road, we know it wasn't a car that was
<v Speaker 2>coming in. But at that point in time, we also
<v Speaker 2>had the chicken coop that we had started to put up,
<v Speaker 2>and we had a pasture that we had enclosed. We're
<v Speaker 2>going to put some goats in there, you know. We
<v Speaker 2>had the chickens, and we have gardens, and there were
<v Speaker 2>some existing fruit trees and very patches on the property
<v Speaker 2>and we would bench them in and put more fruit
<v Speaker 2>trees that we wanted in here. And I started noticing
<v Speaker 2>that the same pattern that I had growing up then
<v Speaker 2>for that one year where yeah, you'd have fruit in
<v Speaker 2>the trees and then there was no fruit. Go out
<v Speaker 2>to the garden to pick the vegetables, and all the
<v Speaker 2>vegetables were gone, including the plants that they were on,
<v Speaker 2>but they were there the night before. I kind of
<v Speaker 2>looked at my husband. I said, all right, we've got
<v Speaker 2>to figure something else here, and if we want food,
<v Speaker 2>we need to figure out how to coexist with what
<v Speaker 2>I believe is in the woods around us. And that
<v Speaker 2>was when my husband said, yeah, well, I saw something
<v Speaker 2>up by the mailbox, which is a quarter of a
<v Speaker 2>mile away from the house, up the driveway. He said.
<v Speaker 2>I was walking up there and I saw something cross
<v Speaker 2>the top part of our driveway. We crossed the road
<v Speaker 2>and keep on going, he said, dark brown, almost black.
<v Speaker 2>He said. It took literally three strides across the road.
<v Speaker 2>It looked right, it looked left, and it went across
<v Speaker 2>the road, he said. But what was weird to him
<v Speaker 2>is it didn't turn its neck. It turned the whole
<v Speaker 2>top part of his body as it was looking to
<v Speaker 2>make sure that there was no cars or traffic coming
<v Speaker 2>down the road. He said, I decided at that point
<v Speaker 2>in time mail didn't need to be checked that day,
<v Speaker 2>and he turned around and came back home. But he
<v Speaker 2>told me, I've seen what you think is taking from us.
<v Speaker 2>You know, we had also had several hands go missing.
<v Speaker 2>We were having eggs taken. We used to leave the
<v Speaker 2>coupe unlocked, but without a set of hands, you couldn't
<v Speaker 2>get inside the coop, if you know what I mean.
<v Speaker 2>And we get up in the morning and the human
<v Speaker 2>door to the chicken coop would be wide open, but
<v Speaker 2>we know that we closed it the night before, so
<v Speaker 2>we started locking it with a padlock, at which point
<v Speaker 2>we would find the door to the that the chickens
<v Speaker 2>came in and out of it would be removed and
<v Speaker 2>off to the side, and there would be hands gone,
<v Speaker 2>eggs laid in the middle of the night, gone, you
<v Speaker 2>know anything that and the hens were all piled up
<v Speaker 2>in a corner way away from where the that door was,
<v Speaker 2>and they wouldn't move, they wouldn't lay eggs, They just
<v Speaker 2>kind of sit there all terrified in their corner, didn't
<v Speaker 2>want to come outside. So we ended up locking that
<v Speaker 2>door with a padlocked too. And you know that was
<v Speaker 2>where the handprints, the first set of handprints that we
<v Speaker 2>saw almost eighteen years ago on the windows would appear.
<v Speaker 2>Now our house is all one story, but they would
<v Speaker 2>sit built into the side of the hills, so some
<v Speaker 2>of the you know, some of the windows are farther
<v Speaker 2>up from the ground level than some of the others,
<v Speaker 2>and you know, we'd see handprints on the windows, we'd
<v Speaker 2>see smudges going down alongside of the barn. We never
<v Speaker 2>did get the goats because of the chickens were being
<v Speaker 2>harassed that bad, and we wanted to leave the goats
<v Speaker 2>out in the pasture with you know, a little shelter
<v Speaker 2>in there. What was going to happen to them if,
<v Speaker 2>you know, hens were disappearing, So we decided not to
<v Speaker 2>get those. We decided not to get the cows either,
<v Speaker 2>because you know, we didn't want those taken off as
<v Speaker 2>they were going to be eaten by anybody. They were
<v Speaker 2>going to be eaten by us, not find anything that
<v Speaker 2>might be neighboring us in the woods. But that was
<v Speaker 2>about the point in time where I talked to my
<v Speaker 2>dad and I talked to my grandfather. It was right
<v Speaker 2>before my grandfather died. And my grandfather said, all right,
<v Speaker 2>so this is what my mama did, and maybe it
<v Speaker 2>would help you. Leave some of your eggs, leave any
<v Speaker 2>of your hens that died in the middle of the night,
<v Speaker 2>you know, leave some of your excess produce, take it
<v Speaker 2>out into the woods. Tell the woods this is for you.
<v Speaker 2>I will leave things behind that I don't need, but
<v Speaker 2>please don't just come and take the food out of
<v Speaker 2>our mouths, and we'll share with you what we can
<v Speaker 2>then we can, but leave the rest of it alone.
<v Speaker 2>And you know, past seventeen years, this method has worked
<v Speaker 2>for us. We don't have things going missing and left
<v Speaker 2>that stupid fox comes into the yard. Our gardens are
<v Speaker 2>left alone, our trees are left alone, and our livestock
<v Speaker 2>is left alone. And I intend to continue doing that
<v Speaker 2>practice because I like eating too, you know.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely. The handprint on the window that is very interesting,
<v Speaker 1>and you took a photo of that. Why do you
<v Speaker 1>think they touched the window? Do you think they purposely
<v Speaker 1>did that.
<v Speaker 2>I think they were trying to peek in between the
<v Speaker 2>curtains that were drawn to see what was inside at
<v Speaker 2>night or what we were doing.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I agree. And it seems like their hands are
<v Speaker 1>very oily. I've heard other researchers talk about that. It's
<v Speaker 1>almost like they got bacon grease all over their hand.
<v Speaker 2>Oh. It took me well over a week and multiple
<v Speaker 2>washingtons with Don and du Greaser to get the handprint
<v Speaker 2>off the wall, and they are well off the wall
<v Speaker 2>and the window, because when you went outside there was
<v Speaker 2>another handprint that didn't photograph, but it was like right there,
<v Speaker 2>about four feet away from the one on the window.
<v Speaker 2>It took me forever to get it off the window
<v Speaker 2>and off the wall.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's interesting. Recently, my Australian shepherd has been going
<v Speaker 1>into the woods and he'll come back and he's really
<v Speaker 1>greasy and I touch him and it's like, oh, there's
<v Speaker 1>like grease on my hands. I don't know if he's
<v Speaker 1>like sweating really bad, or if he's playing with one
<v Speaker 1>of these things. I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Does a smell it doesn't.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, it smells like oil. I don't know how
<v Speaker 1>to explain it. It's got like an oil smell to it.
<v Speaker 2>Now I understand what you're talking about. Yeah, I've got
<v Speaker 2>a couple of other dogs too that are Rhodesian rich
<v Speaker 2>Back crosses, and those guys will take off into the
<v Speaker 2>woods and come back and they'll be all nasty money yet.
<v Speaker 2>But my Australian Shepherd mix, she she just sits there
<v Speaker 2>and she barks at the woods. Gets to a certain
<v Speaker 2>point during the day or the towards the evening, first
<v Speaker 2>thing in the morning, she'll just bark at the woods,
<v Speaker 2>bark at the woods, bark woods, and then come back
<v Speaker 2>in the house like, Nope, I've done my duty. I've
<v Speaker 2>let you know something there. Now I'm going to come
<v Speaker 2>inside and you go deal with it. But they know,
<v Speaker 2>they don't harass the cats, and they don't harass the dogs,
<v Speaker 2>and they don't harass the chickens anymore. So I'll take
<v Speaker 2>that as a win.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely, What else has happened on the property and
<v Speaker 1>what other finds have you come across.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I've sent you pictures of the footprint that was
<v Speaker 2>in the mud of driveway that happened three weeks ago.
<v Speaker 2>We've had really rainy stretches of weather and my driveway
<v Speaker 2>gets to be a swamp with all the mud. And
<v Speaker 2>we don't dare bring a vehicle up and down the
<v Speaker 2>driveway when it gets like that, because we've had we've
<v Speaker 2>had to be pulled out before it just like sucks
<v Speaker 2>your vehicle in and we'll just pull a hand cart
<v Speaker 2>and you know, kind of walk up and down if
<v Speaker 2>we're going to do the do errands, or you know,
<v Speaker 2>if we're just going somewhere we'll park the car at
<v Speaker 2>the top of the driveway and we'll walk in and out.
<v Speaker 2>And I was it was really really rainy, really muddy,
<v Speaker 2>and I always headed out to do errands that morning,
<v Speaker 2>and I had noticed a lot of deer print, because
<v Speaker 2>deer are in the pastors that we have here all
<v Speaker 2>the time. And I happen to look down and there
<v Speaker 2>was this footprint. It was a right footprint, and I
<v Speaker 2>could see right on the edge of where this footprint
<v Speaker 2>was was a deer track. But this footprint was at
<v Speaker 2>least four inches into the mud. And you know, I
<v Speaker 2>could barely make an impression in the mud, even though
<v Speaker 2>it was you know, i'll goofy and nasty to me.
<v Speaker 2>I could barely make an impression. And I went, Okay, well,
<v Speaker 2>hopefully I'm not interrupting a hunt. And I screwed it
<v Speaker 2>up the driveway and took off in the car and
<v Speaker 2>went and did my errand a couple hours later, I
<v Speaker 2>came back and that footprint was filled up with water.
<v Speaker 2>I sent my son to go up to the car
<v Speaker 2>to empty it and bring it down and bring all
<v Speaker 2>the stuff down. And that picture I took had his
<v Speaker 2>bootprint off to the left side and you could see
<v Speaker 2>the bootprint and there was maybe a half an inch
<v Speaker 2>impression for him in his boot next to this huge
<v Speaker 2>print that you could still see the definition of the
<v Speaker 2>toes in. But that is filled up with four inches
<v Speaker 2>of water. And you know, that was added to the
<v Speaker 2>collection along with the pictures of the footprints that I
<v Speaker 2>sent to you that was in the snow. You know,
<v Speaker 2>my husband and I were just coming home. And again,
<v Speaker 2>this is not a driveway that we go down in
<v Speaker 2>the winter time. We walk in, we walk out. One
<v Speaker 2>the hazards of living way out in the country, sometimes
<v Speaker 2>the driveway you have is not passable. We were coming
<v Speaker 2>home with all the supplies that we had gathered, and
<v Speaker 2>it had been an overcast day. It had snowed earlier
<v Speaker 2>in the day, but it had stopped snowing, and when
<v Speaker 2>we went up there was nothing of notice other than
<v Speaker 2>your deer crossing. But when we came back there was
<v Speaker 2>a trackway and yeah, there was at least six I
<v Speaker 2>am estimating six feet between the footprints, and it was
<v Speaker 2>like in this straight line. One after another walked along
<v Speaker 2>the driveway and then out into the field and I
<v Speaker 2>took the I took pictures of right foot, left, foot
<v Speaker 2>right foot, and the next left foot was six feet
<v Speaker 2>away in the field that was for us. It was
<v Speaker 2>up to the middle of my thigh and there was
<v Speaker 2>no way I was going to walk through all that
<v Speaker 2>snow to continue to take pictures. I am a we
<v Speaker 2>that way. I am not doing it. It's not happening.
<v Speaker 2>I do not like getting stuck in the snow. Mm m.
<v Speaker 2>So I went ahead and went back into the house
<v Speaker 2>put all the stuff away. My husband went outside, made
<v Speaker 2>sure that the hens who were secure for the night,
<v Speaker 2>knowing that they had just been through in the past
<v Speaker 2>couple hours, because you know, we weren't gone more than
<v Speaker 2>three hours.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's interesting. They look like excellent tracks to me.
<v Speaker 1>What about the rock that you found? Can you tell
<v Speaker 1>me a little bit about that.
<v Speaker 2>Well, we had gone ahead and put some eggs and
<v Speaker 2>put some produce that we had bought at the grocery store.
<v Speaker 2>That it was getting a little sketchyy for our liking.
<v Speaker 2>So I told my son, I said, just take this
<v Speaker 2>all out and put it by that rock that we
<v Speaker 2>put stuff in, and you know, here's some of our
<v Speaker 2>our hens eggs, and we've got more that we need
<v Speaker 2>to wash. So we're not going to eat these, and
<v Speaker 2>you know, we fed some off to the neighbors up
<v Speaker 2>the street that really couldn't afford the prices of eggs
<v Speaker 2>this past winter. And you know, I told him, I said,
<v Speaker 2>go make a deposit, just let them know that it's here.
<v Speaker 2>So he went out to where we usually leave things
<v Speaker 2>that we don't need anymore and you know, apples or whatever.
<v Speaker 2>And woke up the next morning and there was this
<v Speaker 2>huge chunk of white quarts with gold veining through it
<v Speaker 2>that was about the size of my palm sitting there
<v Speaker 2>on the front step. That was not there when we
<v Speaker 2>went to bed. It was there the next morning, and
<v Speaker 2>you know, I went ahead and picked it up, brought
<v Speaker 2>it inside, went cool. They gave us something back. All right,
<v Speaker 2>here's a thank you gift. And I cleaned what dirt
<v Speaker 2>there was on it, which wasn't much, but it looked
<v Speaker 2>like it came out of the river with how clean
<v Speaker 2>it was, or it had been washed off at any point,
<v Speaker 2>you know, at some point at any rate.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's really interesting. One of my guests had a quartz,
<v Speaker 1>a crystal quartz rock with gold veins gifted to him
<v Speaker 1>along with other smooth rocks on his porch.
<v Speaker 2>We've had a geode too. We've been given a geode
<v Speaker 2>as well, and you know that I don't know where
<v Speaker 2>that ended up. You know, my son took opened up
<v Speaker 2>the door, saw that that was there about two weeks ago,
<v Speaker 2>and I don't know what he did with it. He
<v Speaker 2>took it off before I could snap a picture of it.
<v Speaker 3>Oh okay, But that white quartz with the gold veins
<v Speaker 3>in it, I have now sitting on the windowsill in
<v Speaker 3>the living room window, so if they happen to come by,
<v Speaker 3>they will see that their gift is appreciated and it's
<v Speaker 3>sitting there.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely, that's an amazing rock and that's a cool
<v Speaker 1>fine as well. Hold on to that for sure.

<v Speaker 1>You've had recent activity, and you're probably going to continue
<v Speaker 1>having activity since you live way out in the middle
<v Speaker 1>of nowhere and you recently found that track.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean they were definitely here when we moved in.
<v Speaker 2>You know what my husband and I told we Like
<v Speaker 2>I said, we took my grandfather's advice. My grandfather was
<v Speaker 2>part Cherokee, and he said that now the people that
<v Speaker 2>he grew up with, they would just kind of walk
<v Speaker 2>into the woods. They would announce their intentions to the woods.
<v Speaker 2>They would attempt to live in harmony with them, because
<v Speaker 2>they've been here a lot longer than we have. That
<v Speaker 2>we are trespassers on their land and they are putting
<v Speaker 2>up with us. We're squatters, they're putting up with us.
<v Speaker 2>So you know, if you got a little extra, put
<v Speaker 2>it out there, because that is how his mother just
<v Speaker 2>stopped them from coming in after a while and rating
<v Speaker 2>everything that they had. Yeah, yeah, I figure, if it works,
<v Speaker 2>don't fix it. You know, as far as you know,
<v Speaker 2>these people going out intentionally gifting things to see what
<v Speaker 2>sort of reaction in double edged stword, as far as
<v Speaker 2>I'm concerned, and you know, maybe what we're doing is
<v Speaker 2>also a double edged sword, but at this point they've
<v Speaker 2>stopped taking.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it seems like people coexist with these things knowingly
<v Speaker 1>or unknowingly, and the sasquatch tolerate them, and sometimes they're
<v Speaker 1>kind and sometimes they are very ticked off, and that's
<v Speaker 1>just how it is.
<v Speaker 2>Well, we've had over the past twenty years, screams, we've
<v Speaker 2>heard woofs, we've heard roars coming from the mountains around us.
<v Speaker 2>The past few months, we've heard owls, but only during
<v Speaker 2>certain points of the moon phase. And the owls start
<v Speaker 2>off across the street up on the mountain across the street,
<v Speaker 2>and they're really really big lung owls, I'll tell you
<v Speaker 2>that much. And they move really fast, kind of like
<v Speaker 2>they're flying, but not really. You know, I don't quite
<v Speaker 2>know how to describe the movement that they make. But
<v Speaker 2>we had one last month. It was about I guess
<v Speaker 2>there was about three or four that went from across
<v Speaker 2>the street to our property, and then about fifteen feet
<v Speaker 2>behind the house, we started hearing this whosewill go off again,
<v Speaker 2>But the hoot owl morphed into a monkey. It sounded
<v Speaker 2>like a monkey going and it continued making that who
<v Speaker 2>all the way up the driveway past the house. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>it wasn't more than fifteen feet away from the back
<v Speaker 2>of the house when it started doing that. And Aubrey goes,
<v Speaker 2>all right, oo, please bleep out his name. But my
<v Speaker 2>husband goes, all right, a big, big big owl, big
<v Speaker 2>monkey owl, really big monkey owl, and off he went.
<v Speaker 2>My son and I have gone up the driveway before
<v Speaker 2>and we've had trees shaken and how their monkey sounds.
<v Speaker 2>My son wanted to remind me of that, and I'm like, oh, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I remember that. As we were walking up the driveway,
<v Speaker 2>we were watching these big, huge trees be shaken back
<v Speaker 2>and forth, and we were hearing how their monkey sounds,
<v Speaker 2>and we just kind of turned around and went back
<v Speaker 2>home and waited for the howler monkeys to go away.
<v Speaker 2>You know, we've had lots, We've heard lots of screams
<v Speaker 2>and roars and stuff like that over the past twenty
<v Speaker 2>years that we're here.
<v Speaker 1>So it sounds like they live around your place in
<v Speaker 1>the mountains and the near by forest.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Yeah, I mean the town that we live in,
<v Speaker 2>there's not many people here. It's one two small strips
<v Speaker 2>of main habitation and the rest of us are spread
<v Speaker 2>out over a twenty square mile radius with lots and
<v Speaker 2>lots of acreage between houses.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it sounds like a pretty cool place to live,
<v Speaker 1>being away from people and having these things out in
<v Speaker 1>the woods. I'm sure it's always got you guys not
<v Speaker 1>on edge, but you know, paying attention to your surroundings.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I mean we also have a brook across the street,
<v Speaker 2>and that brook flows into the Connecticut River, which is
<v Speaker 2>a half mile three quarters of a mile away from
<v Speaker 2>you know, maybe a little bit more away from where
<v Speaker 2>we live.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so there's a nearby Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Yeah, there's a major waterway nearby.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so that could be an explanation as to why
<v Speaker 1>they are around. And possibly they're just following the waterways
<v Speaker 1>and they come through the area.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that could be an explanation. I do know that
<v Speaker 2>a couple of the old timers that I've talked to said, oh, no,
<v Speaker 2>those things have been here since I was a boy.
<v Speaker 2>These things have been here since my family has been around,
<v Speaker 2>and my family's been around for about three hundred years.
<v Speaker 2>So he said, you learn to live with them or
<v Speaker 2>you leave.
<v Speaker 1>Absolutely. So there's a long family history of bigfoot reports.
<v Speaker 2>Definitely long community history of bigot.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. That's really interesting. Okay, I think that pretty well

<v Speaker 2>and I heard my name be called and it was this. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I can't describe the how deep and how gravelly this
<v Speaker 2>vocalization was, but it was definitely my name, and you
<v Speaker 2>could kind of feel the rumbling of it in my chest.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, this thing was maybe fifty feet away, and
<v Speaker 2>when I looked up there it was it raised its
<v Speaker 2>hand like in greeting. I mean, not like this back
<v Speaker 2>and forth thing, but this the hand went up and
<v Speaker 2>breeding and I kind of looked at it and went, oh, hi, neighbor,
<v Speaker 2>Hope you're having a good day. I'm going to go
<v Speaker 2>inside now. And I went inside and to come back
<v Speaker 2>out for three days. I'm absolutely terrified.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that is scary. What did it look like.
<v Speaker 2>It was? I'm going to guess about ten to eleven
<v Speaker 2>feet tall. The shoulders broad doesn't even begin to cover
<v Speaker 2>how big the shoulders were. I could see the definition
<v Speaker 2>on its arms. I could see the definition on his
<v Speaker 2>chest and its stomach. It was definitely male. Definitely you
<v Speaker 2>could see that it was male. The sighs on this
<v Speaker 2>thing were incredibly huge. It was very very stick very
<v Speaker 2>well muscled. It had this dark brown hair that was
<v Speaker 2>all over it was maybe in maybe two to three
<v Speaker 2>inches long. The sun was hitting it just the right
<v Speaker 2>way so that I mean, the the hair on it
<v Speaker 2>was like this dark, glossy chestnut brown, absolutely beautiful in color.
<v Speaker 2>I couldn't see what the eyes looked like, but it
<v Speaker 2>had this you know, conicals not too tall with the
<v Speaker 2>conicle on the top of the head, but you could
<v Speaker 2>see the conical shape on the top of the head.
<v Speaker 2>The shoulders kind of went up into the chin, kind
<v Speaker 2>of like the chin sat down onto the chest of it.
<v Speaker 2>But all right, I didn't get this feeling like it
<v Speaker 2>was going to hurt me. What I got was this
<v Speaker 2>feeling that my brain was overloaded and I needed to
<v Speaker 2>go inside down. But it was huge. It was just huge,
<v Speaker 2>and it blew my mind. It was huge.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I don't blame you for not going back out
<v Speaker 1>for about three days. When you see something like this,
<v Speaker 1>it will blow your mind. But it'll also scay a
<v Speaker 1>little bit, and it makes it hard to go outside
<v Speaker 1>or into the woods for a while.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, uh, for a while. I wouldn't go outside by myself.
<v Speaker 2>I don't. I'd make sure that one of the kids
<v Speaker 2>was with me, you know, one of the older kids
<v Speaker 2>who were with me, I wouldn't go outside by myself.
<v Speaker 2>I wouldn't let them go outside by themselves. I'd make
<v Speaker 2>sure that they had the buddy system. Wouldn't let the
<v Speaker 2>little ones out in the yard. Nope, nope. And last
<v Speaker 2>year I had some grandchildren here playing and running around,
<v Speaker 2>and one of my grandkids came up to me, and
<v Speaker 2>you know, basically it was like, Grandma, what's that person
<v Speaker 2>doing in the woods watching us all the kids in
<v Speaker 2>the house. Grandma wouldn't let him back outside. What wasn't happening?

<v Speaker 1>see one, try to film it with your cell phone.

<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely, you definitely don't want to mess with them
<v Speaker 1>too long, and you certainly don't want to pursue a bigfoot.

<v Speaker 2>and I know that they are around. We've seen structures
<v Speaker 2>in the woods, probably about seventy five hundred yards into

<v Speaker 2>there and I'll pick mushrooms and berries and all that
<v Speaker 2>sort of stuff and see what I can harvest from
<v Speaker 2>the woods different times of the year. But some of
<v Speaker 2>these things, they remind me of a hunting blind. It's
<v Speaker 2>like the sticks and the branches are put in such
<v Speaker 2>an or or that it's to break up the silhouette
<v Speaker 2>of whatever's back there. You know, we've seen my husband
<v Speaker 2>when he's been back into the woods hunting. You know,
<v Speaker 2>he's seeing tree breaks and he's like, well to me,
<v Speaker 2>I see the tree breaks, and I'm like, nope, I'm
<v Speaker 2>not going past here. I mean, he can tell what
<v Speaker 2>snowloaded and what's been broken. Every fifteen twenty feet going
<v Speaker 2>down a certain track. That's like, yeah, y'all, stay y'all,
<v Speaker 2>stay on this side. We're on this side, y'all stay
<v Speaker 2>on this side. And he said, part of it is,
<v Speaker 2>you know, respecting your boundaries and respecting theirs. Yeah, he's
<v Speaker 2>been out there. He's been out there hunting, and he
<v Speaker 2>says he's been paralleled out a few times. Oh wow.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. So just it's seventy five to one hundred yards
<v Speaker 1>in the woods. You're finding food sources as far as
<v Speaker 1>like mushrooms, berries, things like that.
<v Speaker 2>You walk off of our property where it's cleared, on
<v Speaker 2>to our property where you know, there's woods, and within
<v Speaker 2>two to three feet you're you're grabbing raspberries, you're grabbing,
<v Speaker 2>you know, mushrooms, you're grabbing in the summertime, what's up
<v Speaker 2>here called ramps. Yeah, you're grabbing all sorts of wild foods.
<v Speaker 2>So yeah, it's fairly food rich environment up here. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Well it makes sense why they are around, and it
<v Speaker 1>sounds like they've tried to interact with you, especially since
<v Speaker 1>they left the crystal quartz with gold veins in it.
<v Speaker 1>I think that's just amazing.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's a really pretty rock. Ye know, when the
<v Speaker 2>kids were little, and you know the grandkids now they
<v Speaker 2>have a bin outside of twies, it's this huge tote,
<v Speaker 2>got a locking lid on it, the whole nine yards.
<v Speaker 2>And we've gone out many times and found the toys,
<v Speaker 2>not in the bin where they were the night before,
<v Speaker 2>you know, picked up and put away. We've found one
<v Speaker 2>of the kids when they were little. We found their dodgeball,

<v Speaker 1>No, well, yeah, that is not normal.
<v Speaker 2>My husband when he was hunting across the valley he
<v Speaker 2>found our daughter's doll. This was, you know, sixteen years ago.
<v Speaker 2>We found our daughter's doll that had been outside several
<v Speaker 2>weeks before in a tree.
<v Speaker 1>So it sounds like they're climbing into the tree as
<v Speaker 1>if that was sasquatch, which I don't know what else
<v Speaker 1>would take a toy up there. And yeah, I mean
<v Speaker 1>I would say, you got a whole family group around you,
<v Speaker 1>big ones, little ones, and it's possibly the juveniles playing
<v Speaker 1>with the toys and taking them up into the trees.

<v Speaker 2>We're like, as well, that is a little bit weird.

<v Speaker 1>things going on. It's like, you know they're around, you've
<v Speaker 1>seen them, so it could be an explanation. And the
<v Speaker 1>channel's old sasquatch theory, so you know we're allowed to
<v Speaker 1>theorize possibly what could have done it.

<v Speaker 2>can have all the theories that I want. But you
<v Speaker 2>know what else is going to take a ball fifty

<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I agree, especially when you've already seen them around
<v Speaker 1>the house. I mean you've got a pretty good indicator
<v Speaker 1>as to what could have done it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Now, where my husband was hunting was literally three
<v Speaker 2>miles away from where we live. Yeah, and that's where
<v Speaker 2>he found the doll. Oh wow, in the middle Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>up on the top of a mountain in the middle
<v Speaker 2>of nowhere.
<v Speaker 1>M wow. Yeah, and that's where he gotten where he
<v Speaker 1>got paralleled by these creatures.
<v Speaker 2>Correct in one of the places. Yes, I mean he's
<v Speaker 2>been paralleled out of the woods that surround where we
<v Speaker 2>live as well.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's a spooky feeling when that happens. Honestly, you
<v Speaker 1>just feel like, I don't know, like you're on the menu.
<v Speaker 2>Oh. He said that. When he was paralleled out the
<v Speaker 2>last time, he said he heard some grunts, he heard
<v Speaker 2>a low gut or old growl, and he just stopped
<v Speaker 2>and said, all right, fine, I'll go home, but my
<v Speaker 2>family's gonna be hungry. And now he turned around and
<v Speaker 2>he started leaving, and that's when he knew he was
<v Speaker 2>being paralleled out. Yeah, he said, he didn't feel like
<v Speaker 2>he was on the menu. It's just he was not
<v Speaker 2>want just there at that particular moment in time. Three
<v Speaker 2>days later he went back and everything was fine.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. I got paralleled at a conservation area when I
<v Speaker 1>was bow hunting one night, and it was scary because
<v Speaker 1>I was miles back there. It was pitch black, and
<v Speaker 1>this thing was pacing me in the woods. I would stop,
<v Speaker 1>it would stop, and I just felt like, I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>Like if you're walking on the street and you got this,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, this bad guy behind you with a
<v Speaker 1>knife in his hand following you. You know, it's just
<v Speaker 1>like a dark feeling. That's how I felt anyways. But
<v Speaker 1>I was miles out there in the middle of nowhere,
<v Speaker 1>so it's like, oh man, what's going to happen?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, no, I can understand that he said that. Coming
<v Speaker 2>out off of that mountain. It was a little sketchy
<v Speaker 2>at times.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's cool that they let you out, though nothing happens.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I feel like they're just being territorial. But
<v Speaker 1>at the same time, there's all these miss see people report,
<v Speaker 1>so it's like, is that what it was building up to?
<v Speaker 1>Were they working up the courage or were they just
<v Speaker 1>simply escorting me out of the area as researchers say,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, anything could have happened.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, anything could have happened, But the fact that you're
<v Speaker 2>still here means that they didn't want you that day.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it shows an intelligence and that they're not all bad.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I just feel like it was intimidation really
<v Speaker 1>or curiosity.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, I mean they're very intimidating, trust me.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it definitely let me know that I was being
<v Speaker 1>watched the whole time.
<v Speaker 2>Though, yes, yes, I mean there are times where I'll
<v Speaker 2>be out working in the garden and I could feel
<v Speaker 2>eyes on me. Yeah, we'll we'll be doing work outside
<v Speaker 2>on the homestead and we know we're being watched because
<v Speaker 2>we can feel it. And you can feel exactly the
<v Speaker 2>spot that you're being watched from, if that makes sense.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, absolutely. I mean just with that rock that
<v Speaker 1>was gifted to you, I mean that's like somebody leaving
<v Speaker 1>a note on your doorstep saying I've been watching.
<v Speaker 2>You, yes, yes, and I'm calling my name.
<v Speaker 1>What did it sound like when they called your name?
<v Speaker 2>It was this deep yeah, like I told you that.
<v Speaker 2>It was like fifty feet away and it was this deep, gravelly,
<v Speaker 2>very bass voice and you could kind of feel it
<v Speaker 2>in you the vocalization, but it was clearly my name.
<v Speaker 1>So they have the capability of speaking English like saying
<v Speaker 1>like learn that's freaky.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah yeah, I mean they're able to mimic so much.
<v Speaker 2>H But my buddy, when my name means that it's
<v Speaker 2>watched us for a long time.
<v Speaker 1>Mm hmm. I've heard that from several people. My friend
<v Speaker 1>Bill was camping in a national forest or a conservation
<v Speaker 1>area by himself, and they showed up around his tent
<v Speaker 1>and they were hooping and hollering, and one of them
<v Speaker 1>said his name. They said Bill.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and that is very very creepy, very weird feeling,
<v Speaker 2>and it's very unsettling.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean it makes sense, like if they heard
<v Speaker 1>someone call your name. But I asked my friend Bill, like,
<v Speaker 1>how do they know your name? He's like, I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, well, you called your wife Debbie? Did
<v Speaker 1>did like you have her on speakerphone? Or did you
<v Speaker 1>say your own name? He's like, no, so who knows.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, I mean my name has been said I don't
<v Speaker 2>know how many times of the past twenty years.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that would make sense in that case. You know,
<v Speaker 1>your husband says, hey, Len, get over here.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, exactly exactly. You know, people that we've had in
<v Speaker 2>they called my name. You know, when my parents have
<v Speaker 2>come up to visit, they called my name.
<v Speaker 1>So I think one of the spookiest things that you
<v Speaker 1>mentioned was something would rattle the door handle. Do you
<v Speaker 1>feel like they were trying to get into the house
<v Speaker 1>or was it just intimidation or they were just being funny,
<v Speaker 1>Like what do you think was going on there?
<v Speaker 2>I think that they were trying to intimidate us when
<v Speaker 2>we first moved moved in here, they don't do it anymore.
<v Speaker 2>They you know, they stopped. They stopped doing that a
<v Speaker 2>long time ago.
<v Speaker 1>That's good. And I mean you were experiencing the rock throwing.
<v Speaker 1>It sounded like a car hit the house. Do you
<v Speaker 1>think they slapped the side of the house. What do
<v Speaker 1>you think happened there?
<v Speaker 2>I think that's quite possible that they slapped or they
<v Speaker 2>hit the side of It was also one after or
<v Speaker 2>one night. It was in the middle of winter and
<v Speaker 2>we had the you know, we have a woodstove that
<v Speaker 2>we use for heat, and it's an external chimney and
<v Speaker 2>you know, it doesn't go through stone or anything like that.
<v Speaker 2>It's an external chimney that's all piping. And we heard
<v Speaker 2>this wham right on the side of the house, and
<v Speaker 2>like not more than forty five seconds later, we started
<v Speaker 2>smelling smoke. We got up and we looked, and the
<v Speaker 2>smoke was now backing up into the house. So my
<v Speaker 2>husband went running out the back door with a flashlight
<v Speaker 2>and we had four segments of that piping that had
<v Speaker 2>been smacked off of the chimney, and we knew it
<v Speaker 2>was smacked off because they were dented in no wow.
<v Speaker 2>So in the middle of the night he was out
<v Speaker 2>there banging the piping, trying to get it put back
<v Speaker 2>into rough shape so that he can put the chimney
<v Speaker 2>back together so that we could stay warm. That night,
<v Speaker 2>it was like twenty below m hm, it's cold out there.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's that's terrifying because you don't know, like if
<v Speaker 1>the house could possibly burn down when they do stuff like.
<v Speaker 2>That, exactly exactly.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, And the footsteps that you heard outside, you said
<v Speaker 1>you could feel them inside the house. That had to
<v Speaker 1>have been a big one.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, or it was just something really hard, but you'd
<v Speaker 2>hear it thumb, some thumb, some somemb It was this
<v Speaker 2>rhythmic walking from the woods around the house to the
<v Speaker 2>front of the house, and then the door knob would
<v Speaker 2>start to wiggle and shake. Wow, And that was pretty scary,
<v Speaker 2>and we thought, we thought, well, maybe it's some hazing
<v Speaker 2>from some of the neighbors around here that really don't
<v Speaker 2>like new people moving in. But yeah, when they tried to,
<v Speaker 2>even the heaviest of our children tried to recreate the
<v Speaker 2>depth of the rumbling, they couldn't do it. They also
<v Speaker 2>couldn't get that house to have that vibration premer go
<v Speaker 2>through it that we were experiencing at night when that
<v Speaker 2>was happening. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>One thing I found interesting with my research is a
<v Speaker 1>lot of the things that Trainosaurus rex supposedly did back
<v Speaker 1>in the prehistoric age is very similar to the Sasquatch.
<v Speaker 1>And I was watching Prehistoric Planet yesterday and they were
<v Speaker 1>talking about the pads on their feet cause them to
<v Speaker 1>walk through the forest completely silently, and they were talking
<v Speaker 1>about like how they would ambush their prey, and it
<v Speaker 1>was like very strategic. One one t rex would purposely
<v Speaker 1>like snap a stick to distract the prey, and another
<v Speaker 1>one would come from another side. And I was like, man,
<v Speaker 1>that sounds a lot like bigfoot activity. And they certainly
<v Speaker 1>do have like pads on their feet, and they can
<v Speaker 1>be completely silent when they're moving through the woods, but
<v Speaker 1>they can also be loud to where you can just
<v Speaker 1>feel the footsteps.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Yeah, I have heard similar theories about that. I've
<v Speaker 2>also had some of my grandfather's relatives say that, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>if you hear that twig snap, don't stop, don't freeze,
<v Speaker 2>continue to go, start moving away from it, keeping in
<v Speaker 2>mind that if there's one, there's more, and if you've
<v Speaker 2>got one that's trying to hold your gaze That means
<v Speaker 2>something else is coming up from your rear or your sides.
<v Speaker 1>Absolutely, it's an ambush and a distraction.
<v Speaker 2>Don't really look at it, just keep on going, but
<v Speaker 2>be aware that you're being flanked. M m.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. So it sounds like you've handled these encounters pretty well.
<v Speaker 1>I mean staying inside and not coming out that's pretty normal.
<v Speaker 1>Because one night the entire clan showed up outside and
<v Speaker 1>I was sitting inside. I had the window open and
<v Speaker 1>I was hitting them with the spotlight. I mean I
<v Speaker 1>pretty much saw everything. I saw the entire clan, but
<v Speaker 1>I did not go outside that night, and it kind
<v Speaker 1>of messed me up for a few days, Like I
<v Speaker 1>didn't want to go in the woods.
<v Speaker 2>No, no, you don't. And I don't blame you because
<v Speaker 2>that's scary.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, a lot of people want to see these things,
<v Speaker 1>but I know, without a doubt, when you know that
<v Speaker 1>they're outside or around your tent, you're not going to
<v Speaker 1>have the same attitude that you had before, like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>I really want to see one of these things, or
<v Speaker 1>I want to hand it an apple and hang out
<v Speaker 1>with it, like my buddy, it'll terrify you, and like
<v Speaker 1>you said earlier, it will rewire your brain, And that
<v Speaker 1>is no joke.
<v Speaker 2>No, you just don't. You don't understand the depth until
<v Speaker 2>you experience it yourself. You don't understand the depth of
<v Speaker 2>what it does to you and how it just shuts
<v Speaker 2>things down and rewires you. And when you come back
<v Speaker 2>into the way you're supposed to be, you don't think
<v Speaker 2>that way anymore.
<v Speaker 1>Mm hmmm, Yeah, it'll change everything. After your encounter, did
<v Speaker 1>you have like an adrenaline dump, Like did you feel
<v Speaker 1>it for like two weeks? Like you kept playing the
<v Speaker 1>encounter over and over like you're wired.
<v Speaker 2>I guess over and over. And it was there in
<v Speaker 2>my dream time as well as my week time, and
<v Speaker 2>it was almost like you know, PTSD for a while. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>anything that moved, I'd look towards the woods, I see
<v Speaker 2>any shadow and I was done. But yeah, I replayed
<v Speaker 2>it over and over and over in slow motion fast motion.
<v Speaker 2>I still do.
<v Speaker 1>Sometimes, Yeah, absolutely, And I call it cryptid PTSD, and
<v Speaker 1>I think it's a real thing. I mean people like
<v Speaker 1>start finding I mean they think like every stick that's
<v Speaker 1>broken could possibly have been done by Bigfoot, And I
<v Speaker 1>do it too. Maybe it's not, but like you start
<v Speaker 1>looking at things differently and I think it's almost like
<v Speaker 1>somebody that comes back from war, like any sound is
<v Speaker 1>like potential danger, and it'll kind of make you snap
<v Speaker 1>a little bit or replay the incident over and over
<v Speaker 1>in your mind.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, you do have a heightened awareness of what's out there.
<v Speaker 2>I mean I didn't necessarily have that height and awareness
<v Speaker 2>before that first encounter, but you know, going outside, going
<v Speaker 2>into the woods over the past forty plus years, you
<v Speaker 2>know that that head is looking everywhere. Every sound that
<v Speaker 2>you hear, Yeah, you're gauging, Yeah, the wind, the smells,
<v Speaker 2>every noise, every lack of noise. You pay more attention
<v Speaker 2>to your gut too, than you ever did before. The
<v Speaker 2>situational awareness just goes off the charts. At least it
<v Speaker 2>did for me.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it really does. Did they ever leave you the
<v Speaker 1>rat bit with the head messing in the middle of
<v Speaker 1>the trail or anywhere? Have you ever found anything like that?
<v Speaker 2>My husband has found feathers. My husband has found antler sheds.
<v Speaker 2>He'd be walking into the woods, come back on the
<v Speaker 2>same path five minutes later and there are antlers sitting
<v Speaker 2>there on the ground, and nast what he was out
<v Speaker 2>there looking for with antler sheds Because he wanted to
<v Speaker 2>have antlers so that he could rattle them for hunting
<v Speaker 2>the next year. And you know, he came walking back
<v Speaker 2>out five minutes later and there was an antler in
<v Speaker 2>the middle of his past that hadn't been there before.
<v Speaker 2>You know, he's had feathers sitting there in his path.
<v Speaker 2>One day, he went out to a blind that he
<v Speaker 2>had set up and there were turkey feathers hanging off
<v Speaker 2>the blind. They brought those home.
<v Speaker 1>Oh well, it's like they were telling them. They know
<v Speaker 1>exactly what he was doing and what he was pursuing.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, you definitely know you're being watched there. And I
<v Speaker 1>think it's interesting. The sasquatch that your husband saw, or
<v Speaker 1>the one he encountered, it like looked to the left
<v Speaker 1>and right, and it didn't turn its neck, it like
<v Speaker 1>turned its whole body to look. And I believe they
<v Speaker 1>do look both ways before crossing the road. I've seen
<v Speaker 1>deer do that, or at least some deer that are
<v Speaker 1>smart enough to look both ways. But yeah, they're very
<v Speaker 1>aware of their surroundings, that's for sure.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Yeah, they most definitely are very aware of your surroundings.
<v Speaker 2>You know, by the time you figure out that they're there,
<v Speaker 2>they've known about you for a long time.

<v Speaker 2>could see that there was this fur like substance on it,
<v Speaker 2>but I really couldn't get a real close look at
<v Speaker 2>what it looked like because I was behind my dad
<v Speaker 2>real quick and he wouldn't let me out, you know,
<v Speaker 2>even craning my neck, I couldn't really get a good
<v Speaker 2>close look at what it was other than it was
<v Speaker 2>very big. It looked like it was in a huge
<v Speaker 2>fur coat, and it was too warm out for anybody
<v Speaker 2>to be wearing a you know, a coat of any kind.
<v Speaker 2>I mean we're talking like seventy five to eighty degrees outside.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that definitely sounds like Sasquatch. I've had a similar experience.
<v Speaker 1>This was several years ago, and I was at a
<v Speaker 1>buddy's property and this place was awesome for whitetail hunting,
<v Speaker 1>and it had like a spring fed creek that went
<v Speaker 1>through there that runs year round in a huge cave,
<v Speaker 1>and giant cattle fields with a lot of woods around it.
<v Speaker 1>But I was walking to my deer stand and I
<v Speaker 1>looked up to the power line strip that was probably
<v Speaker 1>like I don't know, i'd say like two or three
<v Speaker 1>hundred yards away. It was pretty far away, but there
<v Speaker 1>was something big standing there, and I just like thought
<v Speaker 1>it was like a horse because that property they call
<v Speaker 1>it boys Town, that's where like all the bad kids go,
<v Speaker 1>and that's what I thought it was. Was one of
<v Speaker 1>the I don't know the security people because they're known
<v Speaker 1>to ride horses, but it was just something huge and
<v Speaker 1>I couldn't see it very well. Because it was far away,
<v Speaker 1>like I could see it, but I couldn't see detail.

<v Speaker 1>balls of light associated with bigfoot activity. I can tell
<v Speaker 1>you firsthand that the orbs are certainly connected with the
<v Speaker 1>cryptid activity, and it just makes you really wonder if
<v Speaker 1>these things are interdimensional, if they're coming through portals, or
<v Speaker 1>if they're possibly connected to aliens and UFOs. I know
