Speaker 1: Hello, everyone, It's Joe and Serena.

00:00:04
Speaker 2: We are back and excited to talk to Brandon, the recipient of Charity's first Impression. Rose, Which you got the first impression? Rose, it's a big thing. You're you're you're the best looking guy in the house.

00:00:16
Speaker 1: When you get that. I don't know about that, but thank you, Ron. I really appreciate that. Man. I'm huge fan of both of you guys.

00:00:23
Speaker 2: I gotta say, like, I've seen Paradise, and you guys are one couple that I remember over anybody else. So when when did you start watching the show?

00:00:34
Speaker 1: What's easy?

00:00:35
Speaker 2: Well, to be honest, I haven't really watched a bunch of like the actual Bachelor Bachelorette. I've seen Bachelor in Paradise just because my little sister is a huge fan of it, and so typically our summer we spent watching those together. But yeah, and you are in your San Diego right, Yeah, San Diego born and raised. Well, I was born in like like North County area, or I was born in technically in San Jose, but I grew up in like Mark County, like South Riverside area, like right in between.

00:01:03
Speaker 1: There and then.

00:01:05
Speaker 2: But now I live out here in San Diego. Nice, see you in the West Coast forever. I think so, man, I just I love San Diego. Like there's something about this town. I mean everyone's so friendly. It's like I go take my dog out and everyone's waving and asking how my day's gone, and you know, getting to have fun conversations.

00:01:20
Speaker 1: I love that.

00:01:21
Speaker 2: Yeah.

00:01:21
Speaker 3: I feel like people that live in San Diego like love to live in San Diego.

00:01:25
Speaker 1: Yeah it's good, and I would say the best see in the world. Man.

00:01:31
Speaker 3: But yeah, yeah, we have a lot of Bachelor Nation out in San Diego as well.

00:01:37
Speaker 4: So you've got some company out there.

00:01:39
Speaker 1: Oh no, for sure.

00:01:40
Speaker 2: There's been tons of people that I've been trying to, you know, that have been reaching down and they're like, oh, we shut to hang out.

00:01:44
Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, that'd be fun.

00:01:46
Speaker 4: Oh that's great.

00:01:47
Speaker 1: How did you How did you get cast it? So? Actually, uh, I went to Santa Barbara. You see Santa Barbara.

00:01:53
Speaker 2: That's where I got my bachrooms at and I moved in with a group of girls that was actually out there and the us to always have like Monday night Bachelor Nights. And one of my closest friends now, Sierra, she actually signed me up for the show.

00:02:06
Speaker 1: Back in November, and then all of a sudden, I got a call in.

00:02:09
Speaker 2: February and they're like, hey, and we want you to come on the Bachelorette And I called her up and.

00:02:12
Speaker 1: Like you did what, Like it was kind of a it was kind of a shocker for me, but it would ended up being like really really cool experience.

00:02:19
Speaker 4: So how did you feel when you were at the call.

00:02:20
Speaker 3: Were you like, no way, I'm not doing that, or were you immediately like yes, I'm in the sounds amazing, Like what was your reaction?

00:02:27
Speaker 2: I gotta be honest, At first, I was like not really sure about it because like I don't know, like I I know, I'm like a I got a weird personality, you know, Like I don't I don't really have like a filter sometimes, and like obviously from the episode, you guys can kind of see like I was like a little bit, like you know, unaware, just like totally stoked to be there and like, you know, having fun. And I wasn't really aware of the fact that there was cameras all around everywhere.

00:02:49
Speaker 1: So I was definitely worried about, you know, worried about how it might come up. But I.

00:02:53
Speaker 2: I kind of sucked up and I was like, okay, I wanted to do it. So I ended up doing it, But originally I wasn't really fine, I'm doing it. Was it's back and forth for a minute, but we just kind of blew past the fact that three minutes ago you said you moved in with a house of girls.

00:03:06
Speaker 1: So what but let's just my.

00:03:10
Speaker 4: Brain just auto corrected that two guys. I didn't even I didn't even catch that.

00:03:15
Speaker 1: Are you just from New Girl? I was pretty much just from New Girl, but it was like, you know, the new boy.

00:03:21
Speaker 2: I just I did go and find a spot out there because COVID's ending in schools were bar used to be in Seed again and so I was like looking for a place and like howsing was terrible out in Santa Barbara, and I found they posted like a Facebook ad and I was like, hey, I have a washing machine, I have a dryer, I got a big screen TV, and I have a dog, Like please, like you know, I'm a great roommates, just like let me let me move in and get with that real.

00:03:43
Speaker 1: And so they accept me because I had a dog and it worked out.

00:03:47
Speaker 3: So did they give you any tempts going on the show where they're like, like you said, they're all Bachelor fans. We're like, this is what you should do or this is how it works.

00:03:56
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, they've been They've been on me. They've been telling me I need to fix my Instagram. They said I don't post like good pictures. So like I've like been sending up my pictures. They've been editing it for me, and they're like, okay.

00:04:05
Speaker 1: Not post this one and stuff.

00:04:06
Speaker 2: And then and also like they were telling me I had to do research, and I was like I just wanted to go on there and kind of be me, and so they were like, uh, they were like they can't tell me I needed to watch like some previous seasons.

00:04:16
Speaker 1: But I kind of just sent it so they were they were laughing.

00:04:21
Speaker 2: Was there ever a moment when living with these girls you cross the line of friendship to pet potentially relationship, hooking up anything like that?

00:04:33
Speaker 1: Again, No, I never did. They're like, there's some of my closest friends.

00:04:39
Speaker 2: I was like for the last like for that, oh year was like a year and a half that I was out there, or a year I was out there.

00:04:47
Speaker 1: I wasn't actually dating at all. I was kind of just like I had like I kind of spoke of it a little bit, a little bit about it night one.

00:04:54
Speaker 2: I had a really bad relationship, and so I was really just like diving into like giving on myself, you know, spend a lot of time alone and focusing on like that self development. So uh yeah, I know it wasn't really like never really crossed any lines. So I grew up with sisters too, So it's like, I don't know, I throws die.

00:05:11
Speaker 4: You're like friends, No, we're just fishing trying to.

00:05:16
Speaker 1: Get you to say We're just trying to get you to say something stupid. Yeah, what do you want to.

00:05:23
Speaker 2: Talk a little bit about this bare relationship? Like how long did it last or anything? We don't have to touch on it. You're past it. I mean I don't want to dive in too deep, just because like I don't want to put our business out there. You know, she didn't she didn't sign off for it, you know. But it was just I mean we were together for over a year and a half, and we had lived together for a minute, and yeah, I mean it just it just didn't end too great. I think, like I I definitely fell short and like you know, you know, giving her what she needed, I guess at the time, and you know, I just it just didn't work out.

00:05:55
Speaker 1: So living you learn and so yeah.

00:05:58
Speaker 3: Is there anything like from that relationship that you learned that you want to take into your next relationship, whether that's with Charity or someone else.

00:06:07
Speaker 2: Definitely, just like allowing people, allowing like people to help me too, Like sometimes they're like, I'm so like fokes, like I won't ask for help. And I realized that in relationships, and you allow people to help you and like ask for it too, and so I'm getting better at that.

00:06:19
Speaker 4: So that's great.

00:06:21
Speaker 3: Yeah, But speaking of speaking of Charity, what were your initial thoughts of her, Like when you found out she was announced as a bachelor, is she your type? Is is she not your type? Were you excited kind of what were.

00:06:33
Speaker 2: You feeling so Like, I don't alreally like I don't really think I have like a specific type. Like I'm more like focused on like like or like the conversations I have with people and like the vibes I feel from them. And so when I went in there, like I had seen like her hometowns and I just kind of related to her story just with her previous relationship and then just the way she was her family. I'm super close to my sisters, and if I was in her shoes, I'm sure my sister would want to be on the show too, like doing some undercover stuff, sitting now, you know, sitting out de side. Who she who I wanted who she wanted me to be with? You know, So I don't know.

00:07:06
Speaker 1: I kind of related to that.

00:07:07
Speaker 2: I loved how she was like always there for people when they were having their volments and she just really allowed people to leave on her and I thought that was really cool. And so yeah, so I was when I found I was sharedy. I was definitely stoked. I was like not to be a well, I thought we could buy.

00:07:19
Speaker 1: Itself and try to.

00:07:21
Speaker 2: When you step out of a limo and first sar, you know, you get up close, face to face, what'd you think?

00:07:28
Speaker 4: Are you asking? She had a different opinion of her up close than how far away?

00:07:34
Speaker 2: Well, because I I actually remember that on my season, and maybe it's because I freaked out so much when I when I got a limmol, but I remember like being like.

00:07:45
Speaker 1: Why WHOA?

00:07:47
Speaker 2: Like you're real and like this is happening and you know, you see a photo of somebody, usually, you know, like Becca was. I don't want to say she was more attractive than her photos, but she's very attractive in person, and you're just kind of like.

00:08:03
Speaker 4: She's very striking.

00:08:04
Speaker 1: Yeah, this is this is real. Yeah. I was definitely, I mean I was definitely shocked. I mean I went up there.

00:08:09
Speaker 2: She looked absolutely amazing, and her smile was like I mean, I think, like the biggest thing I remember is just like how like how bright her smile was and how warm and welcoming it was. And I was so nervous, like I was like fumbling over myself. I was like kind of shaking with the trail, was hoping. I didn't feel the tequila shots I brought and uh and so like, but like, you know, I just remember that smile, and I remember how beautiful was and like, honestly, like you gotta give you a little bit of peace.

00:08:31
Speaker 1: I was still nervous. I forgot which way to walk. In the end, it was kind of a mess. I looked. They're like, oh, when the shot hits you, I saw in the little means someone made a mes Yeah.

00:08:37
Speaker 4: I just saw that too.

00:08:40
Speaker 3: But wait, let's let's talk about these tequila shots, because which.

00:08:43
Speaker 2: By the way, I thought, I think is brilliant the shots, great move, but go.

00:08:47
Speaker 3: Ahead, Yeah that was no, I agree that was That was a great entrance. And she seems to be a tequila shot girl. But you did not give the impression that you were a tequila shot guy.

00:08:58
Speaker 1: Yeah.

00:08:58
Speaker 2: No, I actually so already going on the show, I wasn't really drinking a whole bunch, Like I was trying to cut back a little bit on like drinking and like taking like a break from it. And so I hadn't had a shot like a tequila and I don't even remember the last shot, and so when it hit, I didn't even like I don't know, like when it hit, I forgot how to take a shot at tequila. I forgot the lime, I forgot all that stuff, And so I just took it straight. And I was like, oh God, like, something's not right.

00:09:22
Speaker 4: And do you like a shot of choice? Is it is there? Like an is? Are you just not a tequila person or you were just like no, the shot just threw me off.

00:09:29
Speaker 2: I'm not I'm typically not a tequila person. I mean, after like I learned to be the tequila person through the show because everyone just wants to take shots at tequila.

00:09:38
Speaker 1: I guess it's the go to. But I would say, typically I'm a whiskey guy.

00:09:42
Speaker 3: But you know what you should have done and honestly, this like, kudos to you for doing the shot. You should have put water in yours and just been like, yeah, I don't even need the lime.

00:09:51
Speaker 4: Be like this is.

00:09:54
Speaker 1: That's also a little that's a little wit appropriate, that's a little.

00:09:57
Speaker 2: I guess it's like, I want to get you drawn, and I'm gonna be as sober as possible.

00:10:03
Speaker 3: I met that he's not a shot guy.

00:10:08
Speaker 4: He wants to do a shot of water.

00:10:11
Speaker 1: That's brilliant. No, that's true. Yeah, I mean, thank you. He agrees it probably would.

00:10:16
Speaker 2: Have looked better. I'm not gonna lie that face I made. It was definitely it was tough. My family was making fun of me when we were watching it together the other night, and so, uh yeah, but yeah.

00:10:25
Speaker 4: No, it was funny. It was funny.

00:10:34
Speaker 1: How is How was your anxiety watching it back? Oh my gosh, I was.

00:10:41
Speaker 2: I was kind of freaking out. So you're sitting there and your whole family is there, like my my grandmother's there, you know, my Mom's there, my aunts are there, and we're sitting down watching it, and I was just like, please don't like, please don't.

00:10:51
Speaker 1: Make me stuff look like because I remember how like stressful that first night was.

00:10:55
Speaker 2: I mean like when I got pulled in that other room, I I literally was like ship breaks for lack of a better word, Like I was so scared, Like, uh, it was just that it was a really scary moment.

00:11:05
Speaker 1: You got pulled into what room when Charity confronted you.

00:11:09
Speaker 2: Yeah, that whole moment, Like I I didn't remember what I said. I didn't think I did anything bad, but I could tell she's mad at me. I felt like I was getting one of the principal's office for a minute, and so I was like I was like, oh, shoot, what did I do? You know?

00:11:22
Speaker 1: But I remember that moment.

00:11:23
Speaker 2: I was like I didn't know how I was going to look and all that stuff, and so I was worried that my family was gonna be upset with me, but they were that was cool. I so all right, let's just I mean, we'll let's just get into it, because that's that's the good stuff in the episode. Anyways, Like I I personally and I wouldn't lie. Watching it back, I didn't really think you came across cocky to me. I watched it and thought you came across giddy. And I know there's some people that are rubbed the wrong way because you're like, yeah, I kissed her. I feel like people do that every season. So I also didn't really find anything wrong with that. But when you found out that her brother was the bartender, what was your first thought? My first thought, I was like, I was stunned. I was like, I had no idea. I didn't know what I said. I was like trying to play it back in my head. I was like, what did I say that?

00:12:23
Speaker 1: Do something bad? I say something bad.

00:12:25
Speaker 2: I was like, oh my gosh, he's looking right at me. I felt like he was looking at me, and I was like, oh my gosh, looking at me right now. It's like I was like, and I was.

00:12:31
Speaker 1: Like and then I realized.

00:12:32
Speaker 2: I was like I high fived him and was like high fiving him right after I kissed his sister, and I was like, oh my gosh, he did a kick my but like, this is not good, Like you not typically go up to someone's brother right after you kissed their sister was like sorry, high five in them and telling I'm like, so I definitely was, you know, I had my foot in my mouth for sure on that one.

00:12:51
Speaker 1: But yeah, my heart drop was there.

00:12:54
Speaker 2: There was no one in the house that was like hmm, that guy looks like Charity's brother, like honestly, like it was weird. It was like you're so stressed out in the moment, like you're so not worried about anybody else beside like your moments of Charity and like how how you think she took you or like how it went or did like did you guys connect good or like you know, you see all these other guys going in foreigner and like so I wasn't really in that. I mean I did notice the fake mustache.

00:13:21
Speaker 1: It wasn't you know. I went out to him. I was like, is that a fake mustache?

00:13:24
Speaker 2: And he's like, yeah, just keeps my opener lip warm. And it was a good enough excuse for me, so it made sense. But uh yeah, hh okay, yeah, I.

00:13:34
Speaker 3: Justice like I would not I would not pick up on it being Charity's brother if I was there, Like, Joe, you're really good to faces, so maybe you would. But I also you're so consumed by what's happening in such an over stimulating night with so much going on. Like even if I were to be like, hm, that guy looks a little familiar, like mmm, he looks like he's wearing a wig. Like I don't even think I would think twice about it. After that, I'd be like, whatever do you man? Like I got a luck going on tonight?

00:14:02
Speaker 1: Exactly. Yeah, I get that. And you you are that that first night you're like hyper.

00:14:07
Speaker 2: Focused on on the lead and and just inside your own head and just worrying about like how how you're coming across.

00:14:16
Speaker 1: So I I totally get it.

00:14:19
Speaker 3: But let's go back to your first conversation with Charity, you know, before we get into all the undercover Brothers stuff.

00:14:27
Speaker 4: How did that go?

00:14:28
Speaker 3: You know, we definitely saw a little bit of it, but I'm sure there was more. Why don't you tell us about that?

00:14:33
Speaker 1: Yeah? No, it was.

00:14:34
Speaker 2: It was an amazing conversation. Like I mean, Charity just was like she's super like, she's super easy to talk to. I think that was one of the things that like I think all the guys agreed on that night is just how like how comforting she made or how how comforting she was and how comfortable she made everybody to talk. When I sat down, it was like I just felt like I could like spill my guts out to her. I was like, uh, and it felt really good to be able to have that like with somebody. Uh, and then like hearing her talk to and bricate that and being able to listen to her perspective and her own experience. I mean, honestly, it was just an amazing conversation, Like I was even like when I got back and told my family, I was like, you know, like if I went on a first date like that and I had conversations like that, like I would be I'd be so stoked. Like it was just I mean, to have a conversation like that so early, it was just it was really nice and felt good after that conversation, and you know, it clearly went well. All the other guys were kind of looking and and you know, talking shit a little bit.

00:15:30
Speaker 1: Did you sense any of that? Did you know? Yeah? No, I honestly I didn't, like I think that.

00:15:38
Speaker 2: I was like I was so blinded by like the fact that I just had like an amazing time with this like amazing connection amazing conversation. Like I really wasn't like aware of any of the other guys, like, to be honest, the only time like I really was aware of anything, Like when we did have that moment kissing on the on the chair, I did hear them snicker in the back and like they were like they're like, oh, shoot, breat new kisser, And I was like, oh my gosh, they're washing you right now. I was like, PDA is like something I don't really typically like do great with, you know, like I'm not really like a big PDA person historically, but like it was definitely threw me off a little bit.

00:16:09
Speaker 1: But besides that, I mean I didn't I wasn't really guys got it.

00:16:14
Speaker 2: And then we're were there any guys that you were like you'd call your boys that first night?

00:16:21
Speaker 1: Yeah?

00:16:21
Speaker 2: Actually, which was kind of crazy, Uh, just watching it back and seeing a little bit differently, how you know, people were talking but let me guess, let me guess.

00:16:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, let's tell you guess man. Aaron.

00:16:35
Speaker 3: Yeah, really Aaron b because he had some he had some choice words about you.

00:16:42
Speaker 4: At the end of the episode. Yeah, no, is that the first time you were seeing that?

00:16:48
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I Uh. I mean, I definitely, I don't know.

00:16:52
Speaker 2: I wish I would have been more aware of that one, because like, I mean, we were in the limo and Mike he was like, oh yeah, we're San Diego boys, right up the street from each other, Like dude, this is great, Like we're gonna have a good time.

00:17:04
Speaker 1: And uh yeah, I definitely that one threw me off a litt bit.

00:17:07
Speaker 2: I was just like, I didn't I thought that fold in the first night, he's telling me we're boys. He's like high five and he dapped me up. We're you know, just having a good time. But yeah, no, that one, that one threw me off. That one was shocker.

00:17:18
Speaker 3: Uh yeah, because I think he said he said that he had thought that he was potentially going to get the first impress for I was because I believe you both kissed her the first night, and then I believe he saw him say like this means war or something like that.

00:17:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, I definitely saw that. I wish I would have been more aware of that. I think I was just.

00:17:36
Speaker 2: Kind of like overwhelmed by everything I'd already gone through, thinking I was going home and then like she had me with the reverse Uno card and all of a sudden, I'm not going home, so h.

00:17:45
Speaker 1: I think I was so caught up with that I didn't.

00:17:47
Speaker 2: Recognize the glairs that all the guys were getting when I walked back to like that.

00:17:51
Speaker 1: Seeing that back, I was like, dang, they did not like me.

00:17:55
Speaker 4: Yeah, but it makes sense.

00:17:56
Speaker 3: You know, it's easy to get swept up in your own emotions, especially when you're on such a hot after getting that rose.

00:18:02
Speaker 2: And I mean, that's what you're supposed to do too, You're supposed to be focusing on her like not the other guys.

00:18:06
Speaker 1: But I think that I think that that's where I should have.

00:18:09
Speaker 2: Like, if I could go back to night one and do one thing differently, I think I'd pay a little bit more attention to so many other dudes in the way that they were reacting to what I was, you know what else putting down gotcha?

00:18:20
Speaker 4: Do you think you would have adjusted?

00:18:23
Speaker 3: And I mean, we don't know what happens moving forward in the season, but do you think had you kind of picked up on that and maybe notice a little bit of tension from the guys, you would have changed your behavior in anywhere? Do you think you would have been like, no, this is me, but like maybe I'm gonna put my guards up a little bit more.

00:18:39
Speaker 1: I think it would have been more of my guards up more.

00:18:41
Speaker 2: I mean at the end of the day, like that, the reaction that you saw, like it was just like I was purely excited, Like I was just like and I mean that didn't change, Like I don't think that I would have allowed, you know, those guys hating all me to change that excitement that I have, you know, like I'm not gonna let I wouldn't have let them steal my joy in that moment, you know what I mean. But I would have just like, you know, kind of taking a mental nolt for the future, because that's.

00:19:02
Speaker 1: Like, you know, that would have definitely helped me in the longer.

00:19:06
Speaker 2: Was there any guy or a few guys that you were a little concerned about as far as like their connection with charity or just more focused than that.

00:19:18
Speaker 1: I really wasn't too focused on that. I mean maybe it was just like maybe I was being like naive or just you know whatever.

00:19:23
Speaker 2: But like to be honest, like I like the connection I felt with it, Like I was just like I didn't feel like that connection could have been faking, you know what I mean.

00:19:30
Speaker 1: I didn't feel like a fake, Like it just felt organic.

00:19:33
Speaker 2: It felt like amazing, And I mean at that point, I was like solely focused on getting the note charity.

00:19:38
Speaker 3: Yeah, and I feel like that really came across like like we watched the episode and like sometimes we'll make notes, and I think I wrote down like you got you just seemed very relaxed. Like I think when you're meeting someone for the first time, you're like okay, like there's the classic questions that you're gonna ask, and you guys just had a very natural, like flowing conversation. You seemed really relaxed and confident. And yeah, like I definitely felt your guys's connection through the screen, and you both individually and then together just seemed so just genuinely excited, like just a lot of joy and happiness coming off both of you, which you know, I I get where the guys are coming from. Have not wanted to hear or see the makeouts, Like that's not super fun for them, but I get why it's super fun for you.

00:20:22
Speaker 1: You know.

00:20:23
Speaker 2: Yeah, no, for sure, Yeah, no, I mean it was it was really nice.

00:20:28
Speaker 1: Yeah. Now listen, hey, I have no issue with you.

00:20:31
Speaker 2: You going in and and not focusing on the guys in going after the girl, because that's honestly why you're there. Let's go back to you saying you thought Charity was going to send you home. Shoot, yeah, no, now that you've watched it back, what did you think about what Nia Maya said to her about you? Honestly, it like going back and hearing it, it made me feel better. It made me feel like, you know, even despite hearing that, like she just cared more about the fact that the connection that we had was good, you know what I mean. It was more like like she like she took the advice, or she listened to the advice, but she still made the decision that the connection that we had was strong enough to keep me there, and if anything, that was Like it was so validating to see that because like, in that moment, like the feeling that I had, like I felt, you know, I felt pretty strongly about the connection we had made right off the jump, and so it just felt good to see that it was it was definitely reciprocated.

00:21:31
Speaker 1: It was reciprocating, you know. It felt good to know that, Yeah, yeah, I.

00:21:35
Speaker 3: Think you were you were like I'm going home, Like she's about to send me home.

00:21:39
Speaker 2: Honestly, in that moment was going through my head as I was like, Mom's gonna be disappointed. I mean, my dad's me disappointed me. I made myself look like an ass. I was an ass.

00:21:47
Speaker 1: I was like I've curt the poor girl's feelings. Like I made her feel bad. I made her think that. I was like, you know, taking this as a joke, and that wasn't what I wanted to do.

00:21:54
Speaker 2: I was like, I am just I just like in that moment, I was like, I just and I was like and that's where my head was, like, I was just like I just felt so bad.

00:22:01
Speaker 4: What a what a low low to a high high?

00:22:04
Speaker 1: Oh, it was just this insane roller coaster ride. Like it was like, you know, I I was on cloud nine from like our.

00:22:09
Speaker 2: Conversation and then like I was just taken to the depths and then all of a sudden, I just like she brought me back up and I was just like I was just I didn't even know what to do. I didn't know what to think. I didn't know what to say. After that, I thought you.

00:22:27
Speaker 1: Were going home for sure. It was like yeah, like he's gone, He's gone.

00:22:32
Speaker 2: And when she I and I thought it was the right move when the way the way she did have went about it, and it was h I thought it was great because like usually in that situation historically in the show, that that person goes home.

00:22:48
Speaker 1: Yeah, so so you did it.

00:22:51
Speaker 2: Now after when she did give you the first impression rose and then know a like you know, like you may have offended her brother a little bit, and then some of the other guys. Did you think to yourself, Okay, like now anything that I do with Charity, I'm gonna start keeping to myself. Uh, I mean yeah, Like it was weird because it was like even like I mean even like the kissing thing, like when that came out, it was like it was it's like when people ask me a question, it's like I.

00:23:20
Speaker 1: Just I answering.

00:23:21
Speaker 2: I think that that's a I don't know if it's a bad trait, Like I just I am when I am, And it's like kind of like I just am always unapologetic myself, you know, And so I definitely I don't know. Like I it's hard like when you're in that situation, you're being asked these questions and like, you know, if people want to honest answer it's like I just answer straightforward, and.

00:23:38
Speaker 1: So I I I was just gonna stick to that, and that's kind of that's the way I went about it. And so in.

00:23:46
Speaker 4: I have a question about the undercover brother thing.

00:23:50
Speaker 3: So as a viewer, I thought it was very like fun and funny and he seems like a great guy.

00:23:55
Speaker 4: I was very entertaining to watch.

00:23:57
Speaker 3: Was there like Eddie guy that were UPSat that they had someone like kind of spying on them.

00:24:06
Speaker 1: I don't know if they were upset.

00:24:07
Speaker 2: I think everyone thought it was fun, Like everyone like it was to make sure that everyone thinking it was fun and everyone thinking like, oh crap, what.

00:24:13
Speaker 1: Did I say?

00:24:14
Speaker 2: Totally and then and we're all going back to We're like, dude, like we were wondering why he was like, you didn't know how to make drinks? Like we were over there, We're like, hey, can we get the drink? And he did know how to make it, and he's like We're like, oh no, dude, it's we're gonna.

00:24:24
Speaker 3: Use that I can get you wine or beer or something on the runs.

00:24:29
Speaker 2: No, that's exactly what it was. And so it was just like afterwards, we're like, dude, we are all just idiots. It's like how we were seeing in that moment, but we were just it was fun. But that's good.

00:24:39
Speaker 3: I'm glad that it was able to be like a lighthearted thing amongst everyone. So going into the Rose ceremony, then you have the first impression rows, so you're probably feeling pretty tired, but pretty good, pretty safe.

00:24:52
Speaker 4: How are the other guys feeling? What was the energy in the house?

00:24:55
Speaker 2: Yeah, even the not the cut off your questions screena But what were the other guys feeling when you walked in the room with the first impression?

00:25:04
Speaker 1: Right? Yeah?

00:25:05
Speaker 2: Yeah, because they were because because we're watching the show and they're all like, oh, we got him.

00:25:10
Speaker 1: He's gone. Oh yeah No.

00:25:12
Speaker 2: I walked in that room and it was like you could hear like you could hear a pen drop, Like it was just it went silent.

00:25:18
Speaker 1: Everyone was talking. Then all of a sudden, like what the heck, Like their.

00:25:21
Speaker 2: Jaws are dropped out, They're glaring at me, and I'm just like looking down. I'm like, oh shoot, like you know, I just made like like a twenty five enemies, like all these guys hate me now, Like it was like, uh, it was definitely. It was definitely a very very weird situation of being like coming back in. I mean there's a sense of like pride, like I was excited, I got the I had the rose, the pell you know, like stoked. But then on the other side, I was like, oh cute, like this is the target on here right now. So it was it was mixed feelings. But and then to go on back to like the Row ceremony question though too. It's like the Row ceremony was the tension was high after that, Like it was just the tension from the moment I walked back in the room to the road ceremony, the tension ever changed, Like everyone was just on edge. They were they're mad at you, you know, frustrated with me, I'm sure, and then you know, going to the road ceremony, knowing that there was one last road available, they were they were definitely sweating. How brutal are rose ceremonies, Oh my gosh, Like.

00:26:17
Speaker 4: They're the worst, the worst, Yeah you.

00:26:20
Speaker 2: Know, yeah, you know for sure too. So like I mean, it is your tummy is turning. You are just sitting there like standing there and like it's free. It was like, you know, it was raining that night, so the little chili and it was just, uh yeah, it was. It was stressful for sure, and you're up late. It was lots of yeah, yeah, oh yeah you are. You are up late, all right. So overall your thoughts on Night one after watching it back, Night one is just one of the craziest experiences I've ever been a part of. And that's like, I think that that's the best way I could put it. I mean, there were so many different emotions that fought.

00:26:59
Speaker 1: They took me.

00:27:00
Speaker 2: I was taken through every like, every every spectrum, every bit of human emotion.

00:27:05
Speaker 1: That is there.

00:27:06
Speaker 2: Like I was sad, happy, you know, like freaking out. So it was just probably mustn't say experience.

00:27:12
Speaker 3: And then can you give us any sort of like teaser for the upcoming season what we can expect to see.

00:27:19
Speaker 4: Can we expect to see more dangly earrings from you? More fun fashion choices?

00:27:25
Speaker 1: Yeah, I was gonna say that.

00:27:27
Speaker 2: I put a Q and A up on my Instagram story and that was by far. The number one question was what's with the air rings? Which I don't have an issue with them. It's a style thing.

00:27:37
Speaker 1: I think you look good, so tell us about it.

00:27:41
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I was in the Army, and in the Army you're not a lot of weararings. You're also not allowed to have long hair how to keep your facial hair kind of tighten, right, And so when I got out, it was kind of just like I wanted to kind of just you know, go for it, and so I got my earspearsed and then I got the craziest earings I could, and I feel like they got to, like, you know, represent how I'm feeling in the moment.

00:28:01
Speaker 1: You know, So, like I like the dangly ones. I think they're goofy.

00:28:05
Speaker 2: I think that it makes people laugh, Like people are able to come out with me, like, dude, your earings are goofy as hell, and it just like makes them feel comfortable to joke around.

00:28:11
Speaker 1: And like you know, smile and stuff.

00:28:13
Speaker 2: So that's kind of why I wear them. I think they're just fun and goofy. But yeah, I definitely wore more earrings on the show, and definitely wore some other cooky stuff too, so you'll be.

00:28:25
Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like the earrings are good like conversations starter too.

00:28:29
Speaker 2: No, definitely, that's like that's why I think that's one of the like my favorite things about it.

00:28:32
Speaker 1: I love talking to people and so like they'll be like, oh, what's the bearings. I'm like, oh, glad you have you know, let me talk you about those now. Will you get now are you someone that will like.

00:28:43
Speaker 2: Get affected if you know you'll have haters talking shit on Instagram about about your ear rings? Will you stop wearing them or now that that won't phaze you?

00:28:52
Speaker 1: Honestly?

00:28:53
Speaker 2: Like so, like I always tell people like I mean, I love my family. My dad is like, my dad's one of my favorite people in the world. But my dad is also the one of the people in the world that helbowed me in the most. Like he'll he'll tell me every time he sees me, like, bro, what's up with your hearing? So, like anything that people say on like online and stuff like that, I've already heard it from my dad. Like you guys are good to go.

00:29:12
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's that's how I am. And my dad is is exactly the same.

00:29:16
Speaker 2: Like every single day he calls me, it says I look stupid with in T shirts.

00:29:20
Speaker 1: Stop wearing T shirts.

00:29:22
Speaker 3: And then they'll text me and be like Serena tell Joster wearing collared shirts?

00:29:26
Speaker 2: Yeah, that checked me. What my pops does too, Like you'll tell my friends. It's like what is he wearing right now? And it's just it's fun.

00:29:33
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's awesome. Okay, we're gonna play a quick game before we do. Wait did you answer?

00:29:42
Speaker 2: Did you answer the question about did you the season without a we got?

00:29:47
Speaker 3: We got caught us give us a little a little teaser for this season?

00:29:53
Speaker 1: Huh? What can I say? Let's just say.

00:29:57
Speaker 2: I definitely at this point in time and the season, then I definitely need to start but keeping my head on a swipple, and that's one thing I need to start doing.

00:30:05

That's the first thing you do when you wake up? Yeah.

00:30:35
Speaker 2: I like to go and get his like dog food, and I like makes it for him and then he comes home.

00:30:38
Speaker 1: I'm like, which bump, jump and then like.

00:30:41
Speaker 2: Nice, nice, Okay, you don't pee, you don't, you don't you don't take a sip of water.
