BIGFOOT ENCOUNTER IN WEST VIRGINIA | IT A DARK BLACK FIGURE JUMPED DOWN FROM THE TREE!

<v Speaker 1>On this podcast, we have John from West Virginia and
<v Speaker 1>he had a strange encounter with a possible cryptid creature
<v Speaker 1>when he was out in the woods. Sometimes people see
<v Speaker 1>something that they just can't explain and they sit with
<v Speaker 1>it for a very long time. Not every encounter is
<v Speaker 1>an up close Class A encounter, but at the same time,
<v Speaker 1>it's right in between a Class A and a Class
<v Speaker 1>B where you saw something very unusual but you just
<v Speaker 1>can't identify it. That happened to me with my first encounter,
<v Speaker 1>and I thought it was a black bear that hid
<v Speaker 1>behind a tree. Later on, I saw a sasquatch do
<v Speaker 1>the exact same thing, and it hid behind a tree,
<v Speaker 1>except this time it stuck its body out from behind
<v Speaker 1>the tree and I was able to identify the creature.
<v Speaker 1>So I think a lot of people have these strange
<v Speaker 1>experiences and just write it off as a possible black bear.
<v Speaker 1>But these things are out there, guys, and it's good
<v Speaker 1>to be aware because you never know if you or
<v Speaker 1>someone else you know will run into one of these creatures.

<v Speaker 1>being said, let's dive straight into John's bigfoot encounters from
<v Speaker 1>the state of West Virginia. John, Welcome to Sasquatch Theory.
<v Speaker 1>How are you doing today?
<v Speaker 2>Not bad, sir? How about yourself?
<v Speaker 1>I'm doing pretty good. Thank you for asking, John, if
<v Speaker 1>you would tell me a little bit about yourself, where
<v Speaker 1>you're from, and your bigfoot encounters and experiences from the
<v Speaker 1>very beginning.
<v Speaker 2>I'm My name's John. I'm from central West Virginia, and
<v Speaker 2>my bigfoot experience has happened when I was younger and
<v Speaker 2>I was working in the woods a lot. First encounter
<v Speaker 2>came when I was sixteen years old. Me and a
<v Speaker 2>friend were coon hunting on a piece of land that
<v Speaker 2>was a reclamation of a mountaintop removal. We were following
<v Speaker 2>the dog out the old road and he turned off
<v Speaker 2>went to the right, and when we turned around and
<v Speaker 2>went down toward that road, the dog came running back
<v Speaker 2>up out of that road and he was scared to death,
<v Speaker 2>like he was trying to get on the full wheeler
<v Speaker 2>with me and my friend, like he was petrified. So
<v Speaker 2>out of curiosity, me and my friend we go take
<v Speaker 2>full wheeler and we drive down that road and as
<v Speaker 2>we're getting to the bottom where the road leveled out
<v Speaker 2>to a field, there's a big maple tree standing on
<v Speaker 2>the back endside where the wooden it is. And as
<v Speaker 2>the foiler lights are coming up on the tree, something
<v Speaker 2>comes down out of the tree, stands up and makes
<v Speaker 2>a bolt for the woodline. And we didn't know what
<v Speaker 2>to think of that at the time. We thought it
<v Speaker 2>could have been a bear standing up on its hind
<v Speaker 2>legs trying to intimidate us or something. But a bear
<v Speaker 2>wouldn't have scared my dog like it did, so me
<v Speaker 2>and my friend we we ended up cutting our hunt
<v Speaker 2>short that night. We went back to the house. The
<v Speaker 2>next day, we went back out there to where that
<v Speaker 2>tree was and where the top of the head of
<v Speaker 2>what I assumed at the time was a bear. The
<v Speaker 2>branch would have been give or takes seven eight feet high.
<v Speaker 2>So that would be my first time I had an experience,
<v Speaker 2>and the second time I was I was a little older.
<v Speaker 2>My dad asked me to take his side beside it
<v Speaker 2>and see if I could smell if it was leaking
<v Speaker 2>and a freeze or something like that. I can't remember, but
<v Speaker 2>I took it up in the same general area, but
<v Speaker 2>instead of going down that same road that the dog
<v Speaker 2>it got this scent on, I passed it up because
<v Speaker 2>if you pass it up, there is an access road
<v Speaker 2>you can go down, and there is a old family
<v Speaker 2>cemetery down there. And on my way down there, I
<v Speaker 2>noticed that there was some broken trees and stuff like this.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't pay no attention to it at the time,
<v Speaker 2>but I went down that road. I facetimed one of
<v Speaker 2>my friends that lives in Florida, and I was talking
<v Speaker 2>to him about, you know, this family graveyard site, and
<v Speaker 2>I was showing him off old team stones, you know,
<v Speaker 2>from the eighteen hundreds and stuff, and I heard something
<v Speaker 2>down at the bottom of the mountain, and I still
<v Speaker 2>really can't explain what I heard. It sounded a lot
<v Speaker 2>like a two stroke engine, and I just kind of
<v Speaker 2>ignored it for for a little bit. And as I
<v Speaker 2>was finishing talking to my friend there, it kept getting
<v Speaker 2>louder and louder, and it started getting closer and closer
<v Speaker 2>to me, and I was getting, you know, pretty concerned
<v Speaker 2>because when I looked over the side of the hill
<v Speaker 2>there there was nothing, you know, nobody, no, no, nothing
<v Speaker 2>like it wasn't even possible for a dirt bike to
<v Speaker 2>be on that side of it now. And I told
<v Speaker 2>my friend, I'm like, I don't know what's going on here,
<v Speaker 2>and started walking back towards my side side be side.
<v Speaker 2>I get right beside the side side and the sound
<v Speaker 2>was like a real deep and it just sounded like
<v Speaker 2>it was maybe ten feet fifteen feet on the bottom
<v Speaker 2>side of the hill where it curves over where I
<v Speaker 2>couldn't see. And if my friend was still with us,
<v Speaker 2>and I'm sure he would vouch for this he I
<v Speaker 2>was talking to him, you know, it just sounded like
<v Speaker 2>a growl or a two stroke beat beat two stroke,
<v Speaker 2>and you next thing, you know, a rock lands in
<v Speaker 2>the bed of my side beside. At that point, it
<v Speaker 2>scared me half to death and I thought somebody was,
<v Speaker 2>you know, throwing rocks at me or something. So I
<v Speaker 2>literally start the side beside up and I peeled out
<v Speaker 2>there and went straight back to take the side be
<v Speaker 2>side back to my dad's. And the last bigfoot encounter
<v Speaker 2>I had was actually the last time I worked in
<v Speaker 2>the woods. I owned my own logging business for two years.
<v Speaker 2>Me and a employee that you might as well say
<v Speaker 2>he was the right hand man me and him were
<v Speaker 2>scouting out away to put a skid road in to
<v Speaker 2>a patch of timber, kind of a difficult location, back
<v Speaker 2>in the middle of nowhere. And he was real big
<v Speaker 2>into Bigfoot, and at this time I was starting to
<v Speaker 2>get into Bigfoot because of him. And we stopped catch
<v Speaker 2>our breath, you know, from walking up the hill, and
<v Speaker 2>he looked at me and he goes, you know, this
<v Speaker 2>looks like a place at Bigfoot would stay, he said.
<v Speaker 2>He said, we're back in the middle of nowhere and
<v Speaker 2>it's like this kind of place you'd expect him to be.
<v Speaker 2>And me, being sarcastic, I said, what do you think
<v Speaker 2>of this? I took my heart hat off and I
<v Speaker 2>bind it on a tree three times, real wild, and
<v Speaker 2>he and just out of it, you know, just joking,
<v Speaker 2>he said. He said, just be quiet for a second,
<v Speaker 2>see if anything happened. So we're sitting there quiet, real quiet,
<v Speaker 2>and we waited maybe i'd say two three minutes tops,
<v Speaker 2>and I looked at him. I said, well, clearly there's
<v Speaker 2>nothing out here, so let's go ahead and move on.
<v Speaker 2>We made it maybe ten feet from where I hit
<v Speaker 2>the tree with my heart hat, and like it sounded
<v Speaker 2>like a big limb just hell out of a tree.
<v Speaker 2>Like I don't know if you've ever been in the
<v Speaker 2>woods or not, but if a limb hangs in a tree,
<v Speaker 2>they can fall. But where this limb fell is has
<v Speaker 2>not been logged before, so there's no possible way that
<v Speaker 2>a limb could just fall, especially of this size. And
<v Speaker 2>it hit the ground with a lot of force. And
<v Speaker 2>I just looked at him and like, did you hear that?
<v Speaker 2>And he goes, yeah, I heard that, And he stood
<v Speaker 2>there and waited for a second, and you could hear
<v Speaker 2>something on the other side of the mountain, like there's
<v Speaker 2>a gap, Like we're on one side of the holler.
<v Speaker 2>Then you got the stream, and then you got another
<v Speaker 2>mountain on the other side of the holler. And we
<v Speaker 2>said we literally could hear something walking back up the
<v Speaker 2>mountain from where it was at. It was almost looking
<v Speaker 2>back now, it was like almost me hitting that tree
<v Speaker 2>with my hard hat kind of caught it down lower
<v Speaker 2>on the mountain or something, and we kind of disappointed
<v Speaker 2>it or something. I'm not sure, but we started walking
<v Speaker 2>back and we didn't hear nothing else, and that that
<v Speaker 2>should conclude my sasquatch and counters.
<v Speaker 1>All right, John, I really appreciate you for sharing that
<v Speaker 1>with me. And whenever you saw this creature come down
<v Speaker 1>the tree, did you see any visible features on it?
<v Speaker 1>Anything you can describe?
<v Speaker 2>So when we pulled in around that dend, I'd say
<v Speaker 2>it was kind of hard. Looking back now it's been
<v Speaker 2>over fifteen years ago. If memory serves me correctly, we
<v Speaker 2>were approximately third yards away from the tree, and when
<v Speaker 2>it dropped down, the headlights would have been at knee
<v Speaker 2>high range. And that's when I stopped the full wheeler
<v Speaker 2>because I didn't know what we were looking at, and
<v Speaker 2>the gun we had was holstered on the side of
<v Speaker 2>the four wheeler. I don't know if any of the
<v Speaker 2>listeners or you know what I'm talking about, but there's
<v Speaker 2>like a gun case you mount on your full wheeler
<v Speaker 2>and our gun was in that because safety reasons. So
<v Speaker 2>I stopped the full wheeler at about thirty yards and
<v Speaker 2>the headlights was about if I was talking and describing
<v Speaker 2>the person, it would have been about knee high. And
<v Speaker 2>this thing was real black, excuse me, like blacker than
<v Speaker 2>a shadow, if that makes same sense. And I think
<v Speaker 2>what little bit of light that was reflecting it did
<v Speaker 2>have eye shine, and if I remember correctly. It was
<v Speaker 2>like a yellowish amberish orange collar somewhere in that general area.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's terrifying. So at the time you thought it
<v Speaker 1>was a bear coming down the tree, but looking back
<v Speaker 1>on the situation, you concluded that it possibly could have
<v Speaker 1>been a cryptied creature.
<v Speaker 2>Correct sir, Like, when this thing came out of the tree,
<v Speaker 2>it was I know this is gonna sound silly, but
<v Speaker 2>when this thing came out of the tree, it kind
<v Speaker 2>of like fell down like as if on all fours,
<v Speaker 2>and you like when a bear ties to intimidate, it'll
<v Speaker 2>stand up on its hind legs. That's what I thought
<v Speaker 2>it was at the time. When this thing fell down
<v Speaker 2>out of the tree, it literally stood up like you
<v Speaker 2>or I would, and it looked at me and my
<v Speaker 2>friend and my dog for it seemed like forever, but
<v Speaker 2>it was probably only realistically five seconds, and it just
<v Speaker 2>turned around and ring into the woodline and just like
<v Speaker 2>snap your finger. It was so quick.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's terrifying. And this isn't the first time that
<v Speaker 1>I've gotten a report where a sasquatch jumps out of
<v Speaker 1>a tree, lands on the ground and takes off. Sounds
<v Speaker 1>like your dog was on high alert. And it knew
<v Speaker 1>that something wasn't right. Has your dog ever encountered a
<v Speaker 1>black bear before? And did it react that way?
<v Speaker 2>It didn't react that way. But yes, it has chased
<v Speaker 2>down with other dogs. When you hunt, when you can hunt,
<v Speaker 2>you take your best dogs. And he was my best dog.
<v Speaker 2>And you can actually when you go with other hunters,
<v Speaker 2>they'll take their best dog and you bring your dogs
<v Speaker 2>and dog your dog will actually follow their lead. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know why they do it. I don't know if
<v Speaker 2>it's a pack mentality, but yes, sir, he has. He
<v Speaker 2>has chased bear before, he's treated him he like nothing
<v Speaker 2>has scared this dog like that, Like I had never
<v Speaker 2>seen so much fear in this dog's eyes. When he
<v Speaker 2>was trying to climb up on the full wheeler like
<v Speaker 2>he was. He got back to the full wheeler, his
<v Speaker 2>tail was tucked between his legs. He was begging to
<v Speaker 2>get back up on the full wheeler. He was a
<v Speaker 2>Tennessee walker.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that does sound like a bigfoot creature. I've heard
<v Speaker 1>of people letting their dogs like chase animals such as
<v Speaker 1>mountain lions, and they show no fear, and they say
<v Speaker 1>when they run into these creatures, even the alpha dog
<v Speaker 1>will back down and refuses to chase.
<v Speaker 2>Right, Like, have you seen those videos where those mostly
<v Speaker 2>white with black splotches on them and a little bit
<v Speaker 2>of brown, those kind of hound dogs. Yeah, all right,
<v Speaker 2>those are the kind of breed that my dog was,
<v Speaker 2>Tennessee walker.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so it probably was a cryptid creature. And that's
<v Speaker 1>freaky because typically a bear doesn't run on its hind legs,
<v Speaker 1>and when they do, it's very awkward.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Like, like I have seen a bear. I've done
<v Speaker 2>a lot of fishing hunting in my lifetime. I'm thirty
<v Speaker 2>five years old, and I've seen bear raise up on
<v Speaker 2>their hind legs, you know, trying to see what you are,
<v Speaker 2>get a better view of you, intimidate you, whatever. And
<v Speaker 2>when a bear also tries to intimidate a human, they'll
<v Speaker 2>chatter their teeth like they'll click their teeth together. And
<v Speaker 2>this thing didn't do that. And when a bear does
<v Speaker 2>turn around, it's on its hind legs, it's comical like
<v Speaker 2>they you know, they wattle like a penguin almost, and
<v Speaker 2>this thing didn't waddle, it didn't do nothing like that.
<v Speaker 2>It was almost like watching a soldier do a pivot.
<v Speaker 2>Like it was so smooth and fluid, and when it
<v Speaker 2>took off, it was gone.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's terrifying. And even like a black bearry, you
<v Speaker 1>don't want to mess with one of those things. Here
<v Speaker 1>in Missouri, they get pretty big. I've never seen a
<v Speaker 1>black bear in Missouri, but they're around here and I've
<v Speaker 1>seen trail cam photos and they're giant. They look like
<v Speaker 1>Canadian black bears. But you don't want to get attacked
<v Speaker 1>by one of them because if they're hungry, they'll eat
<v Speaker 1>you alive. And it's a scary thought.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's true. Last black bear encounter I had, I
<v Speaker 2>was actually fishing on the river. And this is what
<v Speaker 2>made the black bear encounter scary was when the cub
<v Speaker 2>ran across in front of me. The mama came up
<v Speaker 2>maybe fifteen feet from me, and she's just looking at
<v Speaker 2>me like, you touch my baby, I'm gonna hurt you. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>They're no joke, and I definitely don't want to run
<v Speaker 1>into one in the woods, But running into a cryptic
<v Speaker 1>creature that will definitely terrify you. After you had this encounter,
<v Speaker 1>what were your thoughts after that, Like when you went
<v Speaker 1>to bed that night or the next day, Like, what
<v Speaker 1>did you think to yourself.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, I didn't get much sleep, I was. It just
<v Speaker 2>kept running through my head like if this was a bear,
<v Speaker 2>you know, how big would have it had to be
<v Speaker 2>because that would have been bigger than any black bear
<v Speaker 2>I had seen at that time. I was probably around
<v Speaker 2>sixteen years old at that age when I've had that encounter,
<v Speaker 2>And you know, I've my dad started to take me
<v Speaker 2>hunting when I was twelve years old, so I had
<v Speaker 2>some time spent in the woods. I've seen my fair
<v Speaker 2>share of animals, and here in West Virginia we have
<v Speaker 2>a game far up in friends and I've been there.
<v Speaker 2>They got, you know, some black bears up there that
<v Speaker 2>are pretty big, and this thing was bigger than any
<v Speaker 2>of the black bear I have seen in that at
<v Speaker 2>that age.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, And did you notice anything prior to the encounter
<v Speaker 1>other than the dog being on high alert? Like did
<v Speaker 1>you hear any wooden knocks or did anything feel off?
<v Speaker 1>Did you hear anything unusual?
<v Speaker 2>I don't believe so, Like, but you know, boys will
<v Speaker 2>be boys. Me and my friend were sitting there talking
<v Speaker 2>a lot, and the sound of the full wheeler, you know,
<v Speaker 2>but when he my dog jumped up on the full wheeler,
<v Speaker 2>my friend was driving the full wheeler and I, you know,
<v Speaker 2>I got on the back and I was holding my dog.
<v Speaker 2>And as my friend brought down in there, my dog
<v Speaker 2>started shaking, like he started shaking. He didn't want to
<v Speaker 2>go down in there. And as far as sounds or anything,
<v Speaker 2>I can't recall hearing anything.
<v Speaker 1>Did you smell anything? Did anything smell off? After that
<v Speaker 1>creature jumped out of the tree.
<v Speaker 2>If Nemory serves me right, the only thing I can
<v Speaker 2>remember smelling was kind of like a you know, typical
<v Speaker 2>swampy smell, like some kind of like a real dirty
<v Speaker 2>swamp smell. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, So when you heard that vocalization, it sounded like
<v Speaker 1>a two stroke engine, and it got louder and louder,
<v Speaker 1>and it was getting closer and closer to you. Do
<v Speaker 1>you think possibly one of these creatures was mimicking the
<v Speaker 1>sounds of a motor.
<v Speaker 2>It is possible. So when it first started, it like,
<v Speaker 2>I know two strokes real well, I've rode my fair
<v Speaker 2>share of two stroke dirt bikes and stuff in my life.
<v Speaker 2>This wasn't like when a two stroke is at its
<v Speaker 2>peak at higher pms. This would have been the reason
<v Speaker 2>why I describe it like a two stroke is because
<v Speaker 2>I'm sort of a mechanic and you know, just that
<v Speaker 2>real fast sound that a two stroke produces. But it
<v Speaker 2>was like deep and frequency, almost like as if somebody
<v Speaker 2>was taking a chainsaw and they were cutting a tree
<v Speaker 2>and the chainsaw is getting stuck in the tree and
<v Speaker 2>it just starts, you know, bottoming out like that and
<v Speaker 2>you can hear that raspiness. But as it gets closer
<v Speaker 2>and closer, it's more to find. And honestly, when it
<v Speaker 2>was right there where the hill, when I was in
<v Speaker 2>my side side and it sounded like it was maybe
<v Speaker 2>fifteen twenty feet on the other side of the hill
<v Speaker 2>where I couldn't see, almost at that point, sounded like
<v Speaker 2>a growl.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's terrifying. I've heard that before from other guests,
<v Speaker 1>that it sounds like the vocalizations are mechanical or it
<v Speaker 1>sounds like a motor and it seems like they're able
<v Speaker 1>to mimic anything. I'm not saying it was Bigfoot, but
<v Speaker 1>if that were the case, I think they're able to
<v Speaker 1>mimic things like a parrot essentially.
<v Speaker 2>And I just remembered something. I know, this is odd
<v Speaker 2>to bring up the reclamation up there. It was a
<v Speaker 2>old an old mountaintop removal mine for coal back in
<v Speaker 2>Oh Shoot, I want to say the late seventies, early eighties,
<v Speaker 2>and this encounter would have been in around two thousand
<v Speaker 2>and I want to say twenty fourteen, I want to say.
<v Speaker 2>And this was right before they turned it into a
<v Speaker 2>hunting club. And I noticed on my way down to
<v Speaker 2>the cemetery there was a pall of bones and I
<v Speaker 2>pulled up and I looked at the bones and it
<v Speaker 2>was your typical deer bones, you know, probably a hunter,
<v Speaker 2>you know, put his carcass there after he procured the
<v Speaker 2>meat because it was around that time of year. But
<v Speaker 2>what struck me odd was like cody fur around the bones.
<v Speaker 2>And you know, I've my dad owns fifty acres and
<v Speaker 2>we have taken and carcasses to the far end of
<v Speaker 2>the fifty acres to let the you know, the scavengers
<v Speaker 2>have the leftovers. And not once have I ever seen
<v Speaker 2>fur around the bones. But for some reason, on that
<v Speaker 2>paul of bones there was coyote fur and like and
<v Speaker 2>the reason why I know is coyote fur is you know,
<v Speaker 2>a deer don't have long fur like a cody, especially
<v Speaker 2>in the winter when they got their winter coats. It
<v Speaker 2>almost looked like as if somebody had reached and grabbed
<v Speaker 2>a handful of fur out of this coyote and placed
<v Speaker 2>it around those bones.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that is strange. And did you say you had
<v Speaker 1>a log thrown at you?
<v Speaker 2>Oh, that that would have been around two thousand and
<v Speaker 2>I want to say two sixteen seventeen it. So what
<v Speaker 2>happened was we stopped because we had just walked up
<v Speaker 2>a steep incline from trying to see where we could
<v Speaker 2>put a skid rode in with the dozer, and just
<v Speaker 2>at the time, jokingly, I took my hard hat off
<v Speaker 2>and I knocked on a tree, you know, bam bam
<v Speaker 2>with my hard hat, and it did echo pretty good
<v Speaker 2>through the woods, and we didn't hear nothing come back
<v Speaker 2>to us. So we just started walking and on the
<v Speaker 2>other you got we were on one mountain, then you
<v Speaker 2>had a little holler which had a small stream running
<v Speaker 2>through it, and then another mountain on the other side
<v Speaker 2>of it, and we heard like this big limb just
<v Speaker 2>slammed down on the ground. You know, it was it
<v Speaker 2>was loud. It it was loud enough that it overpowered
<v Speaker 2>me and him talking and us walking on dry leaves
<v Speaker 2>and stuff like it was loud.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, they didn't want you in the area, and it
<v Speaker 1>sounds like they wanted you guys out. It is typical
<v Speaker 1>of these things will throw logs and rocks. And you
<v Speaker 1>said you had a rock land in the side by side.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what else could do that other than
<v Speaker 1>a sasquatch or something with hands.
<v Speaker 2>Right, And at the time of that happening, the only
<v Speaker 2>way to get to that cemetery was the access road
<v Speaker 2>that I went down with the cyberside. And like it's
<v Speaker 2>it's an old, like eighteen hundred cemetery that you know,
<v Speaker 2>the families still try to keep up with. But there
<v Speaker 2>was no Like when I before I went to the Cybicide,
<v Speaker 2>I looked down over the hill and I did not
<v Speaker 2>see anything that's you know, that's kind of what spooked me.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't see I didn't see somebody down there with
<v Speaker 2>a chainsaw. I didn't see somebody trying to access the
<v Speaker 2>you know, the I don't know how to describe it,
<v Speaker 2>like the Haller. I didn't see nobody trying to drive
<v Speaker 2>up the Haller with a dirt bike or anything like that.
<v Speaker 2>And like I said, the mountain was too steep to
<v Speaker 2>actually try to ride any kind of machine up through there,
<v Speaker 2>unless it's like a bulldozer or something.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely, And after these experiences, did it make you
<v Speaker 1>think about anything you've ran into in the past that
<v Speaker 1>could have been Bigfoot? Like have you have you watched
<v Speaker 1>these podcasts and maybe heard something that made you think
<v Speaker 1>back on a moment that was unusual and you never
<v Speaker 1>had an explanation for. I mean, that's pretty much what
<v Speaker 1>you described too. You know, you had these experiences and
<v Speaker 1>you probably heard other people talk about it in podcasts
<v Speaker 1>or shows about bigfoot and made you wonder, like, man,
<v Speaker 1>was that possibly Bigfoot?
<v Speaker 2>Well, there's two things that can come to my mind
<v Speaker 2>right now, and one of them is what if that
<v Speaker 2>two stroke sam that I heard was just my misinterpretation
<v Speaker 2>of maybe the samurai chatter or something like that. And
<v Speaker 2>the second thing comes to my mind is what if
<v Speaker 2>this time I was deer hunting, I had a bow,
<v Speaker 2>I was walking down an old logging road, and I mean,
<v Speaker 2>I'm watching down the holler, I'm watching up the holler.
<v Speaker 2>I don't you know, I'm watching for deer. I'm being
<v Speaker 2>very observant, and I get to this straightaway part of
<v Speaker 2>the logging road and I get maybe i'd say at
<v Speaker 2>least twenty feet from a certain spot and something throws
<v Speaker 2>up a bunch of leaves and there's nothing around when
<v Speaker 2>I look like, there's nothing to be seen. And the
<v Speaker 2>reason why I know it wasn't a like a grouse
<v Speaker 2>or something like that is because if you jump a
<v Speaker 2>grasse and it, you know, it takes off flying, you're
<v Speaker 2>going to hear that down to the wings beaten any
<v Speaker 2>other bird, you're going to hear the wings flap, and
<v Speaker 2>especially in the woods when it's real quiet. And I
<v Speaker 2>have never seen a squirrel or anything like that kick
<v Speaker 2>leaves up in the air that high. Like the leaves
<v Speaker 2>were probably going up in the air, probably ten feet
<v Speaker 2>up in the air. That's how how these leaves got
<v Speaker 2>kicked up.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's creepy to think about. I interviewed a guy
<v Speaker 1>named Jimmy from the Daniel Boone National Forest and he
<v Speaker 1>went to the land between the lakes and he said,
<v Speaker 1>there something walking and it was like invisible and as
<v Speaker 1>it walked, like you can see the leaves being kicked up,
<v Speaker 1>and makes you wonder if there's something strange going on,
<v Speaker 1>do you think like possibly it could have been something
<v Speaker 1>paranormal or like cloaking.
<v Speaker 2>You know. I have had thoughts about that because we
<v Speaker 2>clearly if we don't understand bigfoot, because we don't have
<v Speaker 2>one to you know, look at it and be like
<v Speaker 2>examine it and everything like that. I have heard people
<v Speaker 2>say that they do like just disappear, and that's just
<v Speaker 2>like the one that I saw. You know, it just gone.
<v Speaker 2>It just turned around, it was gone. And we did
<v Speaker 2>drive the full wheeler a little bit further down into there,
<v Speaker 2>and we should have been able to see it longer
<v Speaker 2>than we did. And when it was running, it almost
<v Speaker 2>sounded like the footsteps dissipated, like it didn't make sense,
<v Speaker 2>you know, I'm trying to say, like you could hear,
<v Speaker 2>don't and then it just gone.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's that's terrifying to think about. And I've had
<v Speaker 1>a few encounters like that where it almost seems like
<v Speaker 1>they just disappeared or took off like Flash the Superhero.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, pretty much. It was fast.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, So in West Virginia, I've spoken to several people,
<v Speaker 1>and a lot of people talk about aliens, UFOs, paranormal activity.
<v Speaker 1>Have you ever had those experiences in your life? Yes, sir, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>if you don't mind, what have you seen?
<v Speaker 2>Uh? So we'll go back to the furthest back one me.
<v Speaker 2>Like I said, I live in central West Virginia and
<v Speaker 2>it's kind of like southern central West Virginia down close
<v Speaker 2>to the bottom of the state there on your summer nights,
<v Speaker 2>you know, you get these warm nights that are up
<v Speaker 2>in the eighties, high seventies, and me, my dad and
<v Speaker 2>my sister decided we were going to camp out on
<v Speaker 2>the tramplane. And we're laying there and we live on
<v Speaker 2>the side of a mountain probably i'd say a quarter
<v Speaker 2>of a mile from the railroad tracks, and we're just
<v Speaker 2>sitting there looking at stars, you know, waiting. I think
<v Speaker 2>actually we were waiting for a meteor shower that night.
<v Speaker 2>And I was probably well maybe fourteen in that area,
<v Speaker 2>so it would have been around two thousand, i'd say
<v Speaker 2>year two thousand, and we were laying there and we
<v Speaker 2>could hear a humming sound and were my dad raises up,
<v Speaker 2>you know, to see if a train's coming. And he
<v Speaker 2>sets there, sets up right on the trampoline for a
<v Speaker 2>little bit, and there's no lights coming up their railroad tracks.
<v Speaker 2>So he lays back down. We start watching the stars again. Well,
<v Speaker 2>this humming sound just gets louder and louder and louder,
<v Speaker 2>and it's just a consistent hum kind of like what
<v Speaker 2>you would expect from a train engine. And we're sitting
<v Speaker 2>there watching the sky when it's almost like the sky
<v Speaker 2>started deforming, like bubbles, like bubbling in the sky, and
<v Speaker 2>the loud it was the loudest humming sound you can imagine.
<v Speaker 2>It was almost like standing right beside one of these
<v Speaker 2>train engines and you could just see like this shape
<v Speaker 2>moving across the sky deforming the sky, stars and stuff
<v Speaker 2>like that. Like the stars would stay in play, but
<v Speaker 2>you know, you could tell something was shifting the I
<v Speaker 2>don't know how to describe it really, but it was
<v Speaker 2>like the sky was shifting, something was going through but
<v Speaker 2>the stars like remained stationary. And see probably i'd say
<v Speaker 2>it was around the time me and my friend we're
<v Speaker 2>still in our coon hunting phase. This was after the
<v Speaker 2>big Foot occurrence. We did go back and we were
<v Speaker 2>hunting on that reclamation and we went we dropped down
<v Speaker 2>on what they call the Elk river side and it
<v Speaker 2>just turns into basically walking territory at that point. It's
<v Speaker 2>a walking road that contractors had built so they can
<v Speaker 2>access the timber on the bottom side. Me and him
<v Speaker 2>went down through there, and our dog, the same one,
<v Speaker 2>he got on a hot trail. So the dog bolts
<v Speaker 2>up in the woods. He's going up through there, you know,
<v Speaker 2>he's doing his thing. And I shut the fo wheler
<v Speaker 2>off so we could listen if he trees, you know, trees,
<v Speaker 2>a coon or a bear or something. That way, we
<v Speaker 2>can go up and check it out. And as we're
<v Speaker 2>sitting there, me and my friend are talking real quietly
<v Speaker 2>listening for the dog, and you can hear a again,
<v Speaker 2>kind of like a humming sound, and my friend his
<v Speaker 2>dad is hit what he was at the time, a
<v Speaker 2>coal miner. And I don't know if you know the
<v Speaker 2>deep mine coal mines. They got like this power substation
<v Speaker 2>that they keep wanting us to feed power to the
<v Speaker 2>coal mine and it puts out this real loud electrical
<v Speaker 2>hum And I asked my friend, I said, are we
<v Speaker 2>near any coal mines? He said no, He's like, there's
<v Speaker 2>no coal mines on this side of the mountain. He said,
<v Speaker 2>the closest coal mines about twelve miles that way any points.
<v Speaker 2>I can't remember what direction. I think it was like Southwest,
<v Speaker 2>But at the time I had a one million candle
<v Speaker 2>what well, at the time they were called candle watts
<v Speaker 2>in lumin's i'd probably say fifteen hundred power lumen plug
<v Speaker 2>in spotlight. So I plugged it into the full wheeler's
<v Speaker 2>charging port and I shined it around, you know, looking
<v Speaker 2>around in the woods for the dog, and pan over
<v Speaker 2>to the hauller in where the light should have been
<v Speaker 2>shining through the sky with the treetops and stuff. The
<v Speaker 2>sky went from stars and you know night sky to
<v Speaker 2>saw the black metal and you could literally see the
<v Speaker 2>plating on this thing. And I kind of, you know,
<v Speaker 2>scoped it out, and you take the flashlight and wherever
<v Speaker 2>the flashlight hid it, the sky turned into black metal,
<v Speaker 2>and you could actually follow it from one side of
<v Speaker 2>this thing to the other side. And I didn't see
<v Speaker 2>no windows or anything like that in it. But this
<v Speaker 2>thing literally raised up out of that hall and and
<v Speaker 2>set down in another haller. And that would be that.
<v Speaker 2>As far as any other possible eligen thing, I can't.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, there was one time. This was actually pretty recently,
<v Speaker 2>we were having a real bad heat lightning storm, you know,
<v Speaker 2>real beautiful clear skies, but there were still lightning, you
<v Speaker 2>know from I guess all they or whatever, and it
<v Speaker 2>fascinated my kids. So me and my wife took them
<v Speaker 2>and we went out on a mountain and we were
<v Speaker 2>watching all the heat lightning, and I took the car
<v Speaker 2>and I went to turn it around, and there was
<v Speaker 2>a ball of light that just appeared probably fifty yards
<v Speaker 2>behind us in the woods. As I'm turning this car around,
<v Speaker 2>and it was to the back end of my car,
<v Speaker 2>and my wife goes, look, somebody's out there in the
<v Speaker 2>woods with a lighting or looking around. Well, where she
<v Speaker 2>assumed somebody would have been looking around, they would have
<v Speaker 2>had to have been about fifteen sixteen feet tall, because
<v Speaker 2>that was not as straight off on the side of
<v Speaker 2>the mountain, but it was, you know, on the decline
<v Speaker 2>side of the mountain. And you know, I pull a
<v Speaker 2>car around where I can look at it out my window,
<v Speaker 2>and I sit there and watch this thing and it
<v Speaker 2>kind of slowly goes down and back up. And at
<v Speaker 2>the same time it's going down and back up, you know,
<v Speaker 2>it's moving closer and closer to the car. And it
<v Speaker 2>gets maybe twenty yards at this point to the car.
<v Speaker 2>And I looked at her I'm like, look, we're out
<v Speaker 2>of here. I'm not sticking around. I said, it's this,
<v Speaker 2>I said, worst King scenario. This is ball lightning and
<v Speaker 2>it's being attracted to the car. I don't want to get,
<v Speaker 2>you know, I don't want it to fry our electrical
<v Speaker 2>system in the car and must be stuck up here
<v Speaker 2>on top of this mountain. But as far as alien encounters,
<v Speaker 2>that's what I have for those, Okay.
<v Speaker 1>I appreciate you for sharing that with me. And it
<v Speaker 1>sounds like you've had a lot of activity throughout your life.
<v Speaker 1>Do you feel like the alien encounters are connected with
<v Speaker 1>the cryptid activity.
<v Speaker 2>Possibly? I really can't say, because I really don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I do know they do test a lot of government
<v Speaker 2>stuff here in West Virginia around where I live. For example,
<v Speaker 2>I was working in the woods one day and they
<v Speaker 2>flew some jets like just right over top of the
<v Speaker 2>tree line, and literally I got hit with the sonic
<v Speaker 2>boom from one of those jets. They do test flights
<v Speaker 2>and stuff like that. I don't I can't in good
<v Speaker 2>faith place those encounters with sasquatch, but I have heard
<v Speaker 2>from like your previous podcast, people seeing those ball lights
<v Speaker 2>with encounters of bigfoot and stuff like that. If I
<v Speaker 2>would have stuck around, could have been a bigfoot or
<v Speaker 2>something related. I don't know. At the time, I had
<v Speaker 2>my kids in the car and my wife, so I
<v Speaker 2>didn't want to stick around in case it was you know,
<v Speaker 2>ball lightning or something like that. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Absolutely, the orbs are certainly connected with sasquatch ENCRYPTI activity,
<v Speaker 1>But as far as the UFOs and aliens, I have
<v Speaker 1>no idea. I'm just kind of poking around trying to
<v Speaker 1>see if anyone believes it or possibly has an encounter
<v Speaker 1>that's connected. But I personally haven't taken any reports where
<v Speaker 1>like a sasquatch comes out of a UFO, But who knows,
<v Speaker 1>maybe as possible.
<v Speaker 2>Earlier, you mentioned something about cloaking. I got a pretty
<v Speaker 2>good story to tell you. Now, this is obviously second
<v Speaker 2>hand story from my grandfather. He told me. Now, this
<v Speaker 2>is back in the day. My grandpa is eighty eighty
<v Speaker 2>six eighty seven years old now, and he told me
<v Speaker 2>that when his dad was walking from the coal mine
<v Speaker 2>back home one night, they had a shack out in
<v Speaker 2>the middle of the woods, and a lot of the
<v Speaker 2>coal miners walked this path and that shack was you know,
<v Speaker 2>in case the weather got bad or something, the miners
<v Speaker 2>could stop and rest for the night or just you know,
<v Speaker 2>take a break or rest and get the energy to
<v Speaker 2>make it back home. My grandpa told me that he
<v Speaker 2>was walking out the ridge and he could hear somebody
<v Speaker 2>walking behind him in the snow, and he said his
<v Speaker 2>dad stopped and said, hey, if you want to, you
<v Speaker 2>can come up here and walk with me and we'll
<v Speaker 2>talk and stuff like that. He said, every time he
<v Speaker 2>would stop, though, whatever was behind him would stop, and
<v Speaker 2>nobody would ever call out to him or answer, and
<v Speaker 2>he would continue, you know, walking. And he said his
<v Speaker 2>dad did this maybe three times, you know, stopped and
<v Speaker 2>asked if they wanted to walk with him and stuff
<v Speaker 2>like that, and he said he finally gave up on it,
<v Speaker 2>and he was nearing that shack. So he said his
<v Speaker 2>dad steps into that shack and he could see footprints
<v Speaker 2>just keep going by the shack in the snow. Like
<v Speaker 2>he said, you could see where somebody was walking in
<v Speaker 2>the snow.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's terrifying and I definitely believe that. Okay, Well,
<v Speaker 1>it sounds like you've had quite a few encounters and
<v Speaker 1>experiences and I can certainly see why you contacted me,
<v Speaker 1>and I do feel like it was important to do so,
<v Speaker 1>So I really appreciate you John for sharing your encounters
<v Speaker 1>from West Virginia with me. And yeah, it was exciting
<v Speaker 1>hearing about these experiences. And I feel like you're gonna
<v Speaker 1>have more activity in the future. Sounds like you're a hunter,

<v Speaker 1>your head on a swivel when you're out there.

<v Speaker 2>him have a big camping trip planned and if anything happens,

<v Speaker 2>to a bigfoot of counter does Camden on Gali? Uh
<v Speaker 2>sound familiar? Maybe rock House Campgrounds. Yeah, it's in the
