<v Speaker 2>the Monday Night Raw Review. A lot to talk about
<v Speaker 2>tonight with a very surprising ending here on this September
<v Speaker 2>twenty fourth, twenty twenty four, We've got a lot to
<v Speaker 2>talk about with the main event, mister main event, jay
<v Speaker 2>Uso winning the Intercontinental Championship from Braun Breaker a shocker,
<v Speaker 2>I think because most like myself figured, hey, Braun is
<v Speaker 2>just getting going. They're trying to build a star here.
<v Speaker 2>Jayuso is about to be reclaimed into the Bloodline story
<v Speaker 2>to help Roman fight off Solo's version of the Bloodline,
<v Speaker 2>or so we assume. So they're never going to do
<v Speaker 2>anything long term with him, and maybe at some point
<v Speaker 2>in twenty twenty five we can talk about a singles
<v Speaker 2>run after this, you know, the fourth round of the
<v Speaker 2>Bloodline story is complete. But no, here we are. We
<v Speaker 2>are standing here, sitting here, laying there, depending on what
<v Speaker 2>position you're in physically, with jay Uso beating bron Breaker
<v Speaker 2>clean for the Intercontinental Championship, and I am very surprised.
<v Speaker 2>I have reservations about it, but I'm also excited for Jay.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, you know, the crowd obviously was very excited
<v Speaker 2>to be in person for that exchange, for an exchange that, again,
<v Speaker 2>I don't think a lot of us expected. And let
<v Speaker 2>me start with positives on this number one. J Uso
<v Speaker 2>above all else deserves it. He has more than earned
<v Speaker 2>the respective fans, earned the respect of the boys in
<v Speaker 2>the locker room. I think I am not speaking out
<v Speaker 2>a turn when I say that. I don't think many
<v Speaker 2>in the locker room I would hope or assume you
<v Speaker 2>would not respect Jay right that most of them do.
<v Speaker 2>The fans do. J Uso, for the majority of his
<v Speaker 2>career was part of a tag team that evolved into
<v Speaker 2>one of the greatest, if not the greatest, arguably tag
<v Speaker 2>team of all time. And he has been with we
<v Speaker 2>for ten plus years, and so yes, he deserves it.
<v Speaker 2>The fans are ready for jus to become a single
<v Speaker 2>star and have been ready for some time. Ja Uso
<v Speaker 2>has sniffed singles goal but never quite got there, and fans,
<v Speaker 2>I think are excited for Jay and it's a good moment,
<v Speaker 2>and you can make Jay truly what he says. He
<v Speaker 2>is the main event. He's always good for a very
<v Speaker 2>good match. I could do without the superkicks, of course,
<v Speaker 2>but you know what he's going to put in effort
<v Speaker 2>wise in the ring. You know what character wise, who
<v Speaker 2>and what he is. He's a good promo to occasionally
<v Speaker 2>very good, but mostly just good and relies on a
<v Speaker 2>lot of just banter and yeats and personality, which is
<v Speaker 2>totally fine. Not everybody needs to be an eloquently spoken
<v Speaker 2>promo and pro wrestling, I get that. But he has
<v Speaker 2>a connection with the fans that's very strong. And he is, yes,
<v Speaker 2>presumably still about to reunite with his brother and so
<v Speaker 2>and Roman and Paul Haymon when they take on the
<v Speaker 2>evil bloodline. That's happening. Make no mistake, it's happening. So
<v Speaker 2>we have that piece of it, the good the questionable side.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if it's bad, but questionable. Time will
<v Speaker 2>tell if this was the right call. Bron Breaker is
<v Speaker 2>a guy that WW was building up and building up
<v Speaker 2>I think very well. Yes, his music still sucks. Yes,
<v Speaker 2>people still look at him as a Goldberg light or
<v Speaker 2>the second coming of Goldberg, which I think that has
<v Speaker 2>been shaken off of him and has been shaken off
<v Speaker 2>of him for many, many months now. But he was
<v Speaker 2>helped being built with in part that Intercontinental championship, and
<v Speaker 2>you strip that off of him in a way that
<v Speaker 2>does define him down a bit because he lost clean.
<v Speaker 2>There was no ambiguity about the way that Broun Breaker
<v Speaker 2>lost and he had some momentum. And this business is
<v Speaker 2>by definition sir vibing because of new stars. That's how
<v Speaker 2>the system works. You build new stars, you help other
<v Speaker 2>stars build new stars, and so on. This is a
<v Speaker 2>questionable decision because is it going to hurt bron Breaker's
<v Speaker 2>career Again, time will tell. We also don't know if
<v Speaker 2>this is a promotion for bron Breaker, who may be
<v Speaker 2>moving into the World Heavyweight Championship. Picture mean, we don't know.
<v Speaker 2>He could also reclaim it from Jay. I doubt it,
<v Speaker 2>but he could. But bron Breaker, again, you look at
<v Speaker 2>this and it's a position that bron Breaker was that
<v Speaker 2>he was in was a good one. It was a
<v Speaker 2>healthy one from a character development standpoint. We got promos
<v Speaker 2>from him. He was spearing everybody left and right, having
<v Speaker 2>very good matches and the announcers just continue to tell
<v Speaker 2>us the one stat about his in ring work, which
<v Speaker 2>is how fast can he run the ropes? Twenty three
<v Speaker 2>miles an hour? That all important stat which isn't insane,
<v Speaker 2>but it's getting comical at this point. It's it's it's
<v Speaker 2>a diminishing returns type of effect because the first time
<v Speaker 2>he tells us that and you watch it, you're like, wow,
<v Speaker 2>that's insane. Then you're like, yeah, wow, that's that's crazy,
<v Speaker 2>and then you hear it the third and fourth time
<v Speaker 2>you're like yeah, wow, yep, and then you're then you're like, yeah, dude,
<v Speaker 2>I've heard that before. Then it's okay, we get it.
<v Speaker 2>You know. It devolves into, uh, we've heard this. Is
<v Speaker 2>there anything else you can tell us about him?
<v Speaker 1>You know?
<v Speaker 2>So that would help. If they could find another statue
<v Speaker 2>to attach to him besides how fast he can run
<v Speaker 2>the ropes, which again is insanely impressive, that would help.
<v Speaker 2>So this hopefully isn't a derailment of Bronze Breaker or
<v Speaker 2>a demotion. I hope this is not. I hope this
<v Speaker 2>in a way is a promotion. In pro wrestling, a
<v Speaker 2>lot of times dropping a belt of as we see
<v Speaker 2>over and over is not oftentimes a demotion, but a
<v Speaker 2>promotion to get them to the next level. Hell, look
<v Speaker 2>at Gunther after a six hundred and sixty six day run,
<v Speaker 2>loses at WrestleMania, and yet he's the one standing here
<v Speaker 2>world champion and Sammy's Ain is not. So we'll see
<v Speaker 2>what's next for braun Breaker. He probably will re get
<v Speaker 2>a rematch against Jay and likely be unsuccessful. And you do,
<v Speaker 2>you do wonder what the thinking is, especially if Jay
<v Speaker 2>is about to and then in the coming months rejoin
<v Speaker 2>the blood line and then do what with the Icy Belt?
<v Speaker 2>Is the Icy Belt going to be forgotten? Is he
<v Speaker 2>going to be joining the blood line? And then you
<v Speaker 2>know he's he's buried over there on SmackDown and everything
<v Speaker 2>is about the blood line, And we look up a
<v Speaker 2>few months later, we're like, oh, yeah, that's right, he's
<v Speaker 2>Intercontinental Champion. We should probably defend We have him defend
<v Speaker 2>that every once in a while. You know, Let's hope
<v Speaker 2>that's not the case. Let's hope we also can have
<v Speaker 2>a scenario where maybe the reuniting of the blood line
<v Speaker 2>doesn't take place until wrestle Mania. I think a lot
<v Speaker 2>of us, including myself, have been duped into this Wargames
<v Speaker 2>match as the end all be all for this story,
<v Speaker 2>and maybe it's not. So we'll see. Wargames is gonna
<v Speaker 2>be a hell of a pay per view. Hell, I'll
<v Speaker 2>still say pay per view p l E. That's gonna
<v Speaker 2>tell us a lot about the Bloodline story. I mean
<v Speaker 2>that the storyline is right there for the taking when
<v Speaker 2>it comes to Bloodline versus Bloodline, and you and I
<v Speaker 2>and everyone else listening have been talking about this for
<v Speaker 2>months and months and months that this is the this
<v Speaker 2>is the scenario, this is the place that it should happen,
<v Speaker 2>and yes, the Rock's coming back and all that. So
<v Speaker 2>we'll see how it all plays out. There's a lot
<v Speaker 2>of story left to tell there. But one other positive
<v Speaker 2>as I'm thinking about it, company wide, booking wide, unpredictability wide,
<v Speaker 2>is this throws a wrench in a lot of our
<v Speaker 2>assumptions about Triple H that he is primarily a long
<v Speaker 2>term title run guy, and it throws that seed of
<v Speaker 2>doubt now into our minds, which is a good thing.
<v Speaker 2>While I generally agree with the principle of long title reigns,
<v Speaker 2>you need to have these kinds of runs every now
<v Speaker 2>and then, sprinkled in to give that unpredictability, to get
<v Speaker 2>fans off your scent, off the trail, to get them
<v Speaker 2>off your scent, I guess whatever, you know what I mean,
<v Speaker 2>to get them off their game, and that's what this
<v Speaker 2>has done as well. I didn't see it coming, although
<v Speaker 2>when they made it the main event of Raw, it
<v Speaker 2>elevated the possibility. Right positioning on a show is extremely
<v Speaker 2>important and often does tell the tale of who may
<v Speaker 2>drop what or regain what. You know, when Cody Road
<v Speaker 2>he's opened the last plee defending his undisputed championship, you
<v Speaker 2>knew there was now an absolute zero chance he was
<v Speaker 2>dropping it. You're not gonna have a title change typically,
<v Speaker 2>and with a major title on the line, if it's
<v Speaker 2>not at the end of a show. That's of course
<v Speaker 2>not an ULTI you know, a absolute rule, but it's
<v Speaker 2>one that I think is pretty well followed, and this
<v Speaker 2>followed that rule on Raw when it was in the
<v Speaker 2>main event. Now, they didn't get a ton of time here,
<v Speaker 2>They got what nine minutes for this match. They could
<v Speaker 2>have done a lot more. Maybe they ran out of
<v Speaker 2>time and they did the best they could, but more
<v Speaker 2>time certainly would have been better, not that the match
<v Speaker 2>was bad, but they they maximize the minutes. Let's put
<v Speaker 2>it that way. But like I said, it does, from
<v Speaker 2>a strategic standpoint, make fans think twice when they think
<v Speaker 2>they know what Triple Ah is going to do with titles.
<v Speaker 2>And that's a good thing. Like I said, we love
<v Speaker 2>unpredictability as fans. We love being twisted and turned and swerved.
<v Speaker 2>We do. We love it. This is one and it's
<v Speaker 2>a good one. So that's really all I got to
<v Speaker 2>say about it. I just want to open the show
<v Speaker 2>with jay USO's win. That was a shocker. Was it
<v Speaker 2>earth shattering? No? I don't want to go overboard, but
<v Speaker 2>I think it was a shocker for most given what
<v Speaker 2>we think we know about what's coming up with jay
<v Speaker 2>Uso and his bloodline story. And obviously there's a lot
<v Speaker 2>more to get to with Monday Night. Robert going to

<v Speaker 2>continuation of the bloodlines. I'm sorry, the New Day split
<v Speaker 2>and I'm all in on this one. This may be
<v Speaker 2>the first time in ten years I have an emotional
<v Speaker 2>investment in a New Day story, and it is to
<v Speaker 2>see them break up and to see the evolution of this.
<v Speaker 2>You guys been listening to me. I've been podcasting for
<v Speaker 2>ten years now, and during those ten years, I have
<v Speaker 2>despised nearly everything the New Day has done. I know,
<v Speaker 2>I didn't even like Kofe Mania. I did not like
<v Speaker 2>Hope kingson his WWE champion not because he's not talented,
<v Speaker 2>but to summarize, he made the championship a joke. He
<v Speaker 2>valued it. He's still mister Pancake doing his sophomore jokes,
<v Speaker 2>and it was horrific. Really nothing about the New Day
<v Speaker 2>story was ever entertaining about entertaining to me, and the
<v Speaker 2>crowd seemed to eat it up though, And obviously I'm
<v Speaker 2>the one that is the voice of the minority because
<v Speaker 2>they made a bunch of money off the New Day
<v Speaker 2>and good for them. But I'm finally invested in a
<v Speaker 2>story after ten years because I'm finally going to get
<v Speaker 2>to see them split, and it's coming because they continue
<v Speaker 2>to pound in our brains the fact that in November
<v Speaker 2>they have a ten year anniversary and that is going
<v Speaker 2>to be a night that the New Day split. It
<v Speaker 2>looks like Xavier Woods is going to be the one
<v Speaker 2>to turn on Kofe. He's the one who's getting frustrated
<v Speaker 2>with Kofe as Kofe continues to live as if he's
<v Speaker 2>sixteen years old in high school with pancakes and booteos,
<v Speaker 2>and you know, at this forty five year old man
<v Speaker 2>is still stuck at sixteen. Character wise, of course, you
<v Speaker 2>have Xavier who wants to just win and wants to
<v Speaker 2>get back to their winning ways so they can just
<v Speaker 2>kind of let loose. But Xavier is focus on something
<v Speaker 2>he probably should have been focused on to begin with,
<v Speaker 2>and that's winning. That's really what a lot of stars
<v Speaker 2>should be focused on, is winning, not having fun or
<v Speaker 2>making history. Win because winning is what you should do
<v Speaker 2>in a sport. That's what you're there to do, at
<v Speaker 2>least if you're trying to tell me it's a simulated sport.
<v Speaker 2>So you have Xavier who's playing the more the aggressor here,
<v Speaker 2>and you have the New Day on a slump, and
<v Speaker 2>last night they took on American Maid and they lost.
<v Speaker 2>They lost, and this is going to continue to fracture
<v Speaker 2>the bond between Xavier and Kofee. And sure Biggie could
<v Speaker 2>come back and likely will come back, even in a
<v Speaker 2>cameo appearance for the New Day celebration in November, but
<v Speaker 2>the split's not happening until November. They're not going to
<v Speaker 2>do it. It'll appear as if all is well, you know,
<v Speaker 2>oh sorry about last week, just like we saw this week,
<v Speaker 2>water under the bridge, blah blah blah. Things are fine,
<v Speaker 2>let's make it up, let's get going, let's you know,
<v Speaker 2>and it's going to continue to descend and descend and descend.
<v Speaker 2>So really, for me, I'm excited what this eventually will
<v Speaker 2>lead to. Ultimately, yes, the split, which is going to
<v Speaker 2>be thank God, thank God moment, but also for Exavier
<v Speaker 2>to see what he can do outside of trombones and
<v Speaker 2>pancakes and bootios and the nonsensical garbage. What can he do?
<v Speaker 2>What can he make of himself in the second half
<v Speaker 2>of his career? Who is he going to be? Sure?
<v Speaker 2>He'll be a heel likely, but what is his character about?
<v Speaker 2>What does he transform into? I mean, that's what I'm
<v Speaker 2>looking forward to. So we shall see, we shall see,
<v Speaker 2>and again, like I said, for the first time in
<v Speaker 2>ten years, I care about what the New Day are
<v Speaker 2>doing because it's going to lead to their ultimate demise.
<v Speaker 2>So the angels above are singing down and shining their light.
<v Speaker 2>All right, Bronson Reid and Braunze Stroman, this has become
<v Speaker 2>and I think, to ww, surprise, a delight of Mondonette
<v Speaker 2>Raw Now they know we know this kind of story
<v Speaker 2>can't last forever. It's not sustainable long term because it's
<v Speaker 2>just pure destruction, very little character depth, but just a
<v Speaker 2>hell of a time pure violence. And that's okay, I'm
<v Speaker 2>not complaining. That's okay. The violence here is the story.
<v Speaker 2>But since the violence is the only element of this story,
<v Speaker 2>it won't last long because it doesn't have the depth
<v Speaker 2>to survive. And that's again that's okay too. It sounds
<v Speaker 2>like I'm complaining. I'm not not. Every story needs to
<v Speaker 2>be deep in, character driven, and this is one of
<v Speaker 2>those exceptions that it's just about violence and two big
<v Speaker 2>men kicking each other's asses. And that's what we're getting
<v Speaker 2>here with Braunz Strowman and Bronson Reid, and the fans
<v Speaker 2>are loving it. The destruction is hilarious. They opened up
<v Speaker 2>raw doing this. Even in the introductory people arrive at
<v Speaker 2>the arena moments with Live and Dom and them just
<v Speaker 2>destroying each other there destroying each other, you know, in
<v Speaker 2>the ring and backstage, and it just continues in them
<v Speaker 2>destroying the security guards over and over, which is always
<v Speaker 2>a fun thing. Yeah, that is one of my guilty
<v Speaker 2>pleasures as a wrestling fan is watching I don't care
<v Speaker 2>if it's a healer babyface, doesn't matter, seeing security guards
<v Speaker 2>who are just the most hapless, helpless, just jobbers in
<v Speaker 2>the world get their ass kicked. There's something dark and
<v Speaker 2>funny about it because we all know their local wrestling
<v Speaker 2>talents who are cause playing as security. We know that,
<v Speaker 2>but it still makes it fun to watch them just
<v Speaker 2>can be completely inept at their job and get destroyed
<v Speaker 2>by the talent. And it's again, I don't care if
<v Speaker 2>it's a healer Babybase doing it. It just is plain fun.
<v Speaker 2>And that happened this week. The fans loved it. Tsunami
<v Speaker 2>on a couple of them, braun Strolman choke slam, double
<v Speaker 2>choke slam on a couple of them. Eventually, and finally
<v Speaker 2>we get Adam Pierce figure a way to end this,
<v Speaker 2>and it's not going to be at Bad Blood, which
<v Speaker 2>is surprising. But but once again, the one thing Triple
<v Speaker 2>H has been steadfast about in his reign has been
<v Speaker 2>fewer matches, longer matches on pls, and he's continuing that
<v Speaker 2>with the Intercontinental Championship being done on Raw and next
<v Speaker 2>week with braunz Stroman versus Bronson Reid in a last
<v Speaker 2>man standing match, and I love it. I think it's
<v Speaker 2>the perfect way to end it. I was kind of
<v Speaker 2>curious as to what stipulation they would impose on this
<v Speaker 2>program given the violence. They can't do a lumberjack match,
<v Speaker 2>can't do a steel cage match, given it's so close
<v Speaker 2>to hell on a cell. There's very few things that
<v Speaker 2>you could do, and las Ben's standing makes sense. No
<v Speaker 2>rules destroy any and everything. The winner, a winner will
<v Speaker 2>emerge while the loser stays down for a ten count
<v Speaker 2>and we'll move on. I would think that the winner
<v Speaker 2>of this is Bronson Reid, as I said earlier, with
<v Speaker 2>a business about building new stars, this one should be
<v Speaker 2>about Bronson Reid winning, but in a war, in an
<v Speaker 2>absolute war, and it's just fun. I mean, they're gonna
<v Speaker 2>end up all over the dam Arena. They'll probably end
<v Speaker 2>up backstage again. They'll probably go through a couple of
<v Speaker 2>cars again. I mean they are gonna go through the ring.
<v Speaker 2>I wouldn't be surprised, honestly, if this match closes the
<v Speaker 2>show next week. I doubt it, but it could where
<v Speaker 2>they end up having a big show or Mark Henry
<v Speaker 2>moment where or when it originally happened brock Lesnar superplexing
<v Speaker 2>big show that collapsed the ring. Kind of one of
<v Speaker 2>those moments where it's an epic conclusion that not just
<v Speaker 2>symbolically but physically literally destroys the ring. That kind of moment,
<v Speaker 2>which will be fun. They don't have to close the
<v Speaker 2>show with it, but it'll be fun. I don't think
<v Speaker 2>they'll close the show with it as I'm thinking about it,
<v Speaker 2>because next week is the final show before bad Blood,
<v Speaker 2>so that doesn't make sense. But they might do it
<v Speaker 2>as a mid show, semi main event and having these
<v Speaker 2>two absolutely kill each other or even open the show
<v Speaker 2>with it. Fans are ready for it. I'm ready for it.
<v Speaker 2>Just pure thoughtless fun, just kick ass violence. That's what
<v Speaker 2>this is about. There's nothing more, nothing left than us
<v Speaker 2>to this. But it's also about Bronson Reed getting a
<v Speaker 2>big time push, or at least getting him in the
<v Speaker 2>front of the fans' eyeballs so that fans recognize who
<v Speaker 2>the hell you are. And I think this will put
<v Speaker 2>Bronson Read on the map further. Bron Strowlman doesn't need
<v Speaker 2>the match up here, he doesn't need to win. It
<v Speaker 2>make no sense if he wins. So nothing but really
<v Speaker 2>just simple praise for this program, all right. Next, guess
<v Speaker 2>what's back the shark cage. We haven't seen that in
<v Speaker 2>a while. The last time I think we had a
<v Speaker 2>shark cage was with Chris Jericho, and I don't remember this.
<v Speaker 2>Who was in the match. Maybe it was Kevin Owens
<v Speaker 2>when they were in their Festival of Friendship. I'm not sure,
<v Speaker 2>but I remember Chris Jericho being the last one to
<v Speaker 2>be suspended above the ring in a shark cage, so
<v Speaker 2>that is again, that's the last time I remember. It's
<v Speaker 2>very rarely done. I've only seen a couple of them
<v Speaker 2>in my lifetime in WWE with the shark cage hanging
<v Speaker 2>above the ring with somebody that's just such a menace.
<v Speaker 2>They have to be jailed. But Dom is going to
<v Speaker 2>be in there. I'm sure they'll references that Dom makes
<v Speaker 2>to you know, the good old days of him in
<v Speaker 2>the Slammer and all the brilliance that really helped establish
<v Speaker 2>his career, about spending like an hour in county jail
<v Speaker 2>a few years ago and he was running the cell
<v Speaker 2>blocks and I mean remember all that stuff, and in
<v Speaker 2>one of his intros he was even being in his
<v Speaker 2>entrances being shown being let out of the cell. It
<v Speaker 2>was just all brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. So maybe there'll be
<v Speaker 2>some references to that that Dom feels right at home
<v Speaker 2>there and you know that kind of thing. But Dom
<v Speaker 2>is going to be suspended above the ring and he
<v Speaker 2>won't be able to interfere in the match between Rhea
<v Speaker 2>Ripley and Live Morgan for the women's world title, and
<v Speaker 2>that's you know, he'll find a way though. Here's the thing,
<v Speaker 2>just because he's suspended doesn't mean he can't still interfere.
<v Speaker 2>He can pocket something and drop it down brass knucks
<v Speaker 2>or a foreign object of some sort that he can
<v Speaker 2>help Live win. And that's exactly what I think is
<v Speaker 2>gonna happen here. I know that predictions come next week
<v Speaker 2>for Bad Blood, but an early one here I think
<v Speaker 2>is that Live retains because Dom still finds a way,
<v Speaker 2>even suspended twenty feet above the ring in a shark cage,
<v Speaker 2>to interfere in the match. And it'll again, I think
<v Speaker 2>it'll be fun to watch, and you know, the fans
<v Speaker 2>will be like, are you kidding me? How the hell
<v Speaker 2>you know it'd be good? It'll be good. So that's

<v Speaker 2>of Live Morgan in this revenge tour that sounded hollow
<v Speaker 2>and like a slogan, And you know, you came back
<v Speaker 2>for revenge, yet he wasn't targeting Rhea at the time,
<v Speaker 2>and it was it was embarrassing and that so quickly
<v Speaker 2>turned and I was wrong. Her adventure turned out to
<v Speaker 2>be exactly what she said. She took everything from Rhea
<v Speaker 2>and Ria Ripley has been very good with her arguments
<v Speaker 2>as well and her promos against Live And the one
<v Speaker 2>thing I wish she'd say, though, is, and maybe she
<v Speaker 2>has to some degree that you know, you're right. You
<v Speaker 2>have taken my title, you've taken my family, you've taken
<v Speaker 2>my former lover dom. But you know what you've done,
<v Speaker 2>You've left me with something that I have. I've got
<v Speaker 2>nothing left to lose. You've left somebody in a desperate state.
<v Speaker 2>How are you going to handle someone that has nothing
<v Speaker 2>left to lose. You're the one now that has a
<v Speaker 2>mountain to lose, you know, like flip it on her
<v Speaker 2>and make it that she sure you took everything from me.
<v Speaker 2>I'm still here and now I've got nothing left to lose. You,
<v Speaker 2>on the other hand, have a lot to lose. So

<v Speaker 2>net raw We got the Unholy Union versus the versus
<v Speaker 2>Damage Control. And before this though, we had, of course,
<v Speaker 2>the obnoxious and I'm just gonna call them what it
<v Speaker 2>is now noxious Bianca and Jade team with their their
<v Speaker 2>handshakes and their pompous stances, and they're just, you know,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, obnoxious personalities that when when they get together,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I'm kind of over it. They're not a
<v Speaker 2>babyfaced team, They're not. I know that Jade is very
<v Speaker 2>impressible with herself and she puts on social media all
<v Speaker 2>the time of look at my new outfit, Oh I
<v Speaker 2>smell good. All these things that have absolutely nothing to
<v Speaker 2>do with your success as a wrestler, and we're all
<v Speaker 2>supposed to be impressed with them. And we can only
<v Speaker 2>say nice things if we if we you know, if
<v Speaker 2>she puts these out and we say anything negative, well,
<v Speaker 2>here come the mob. You know, there's no other topic
<v Speaker 2>for another day. But my point is that these two
<v Speaker 2>have become just I don't know that. You put them
<v Speaker 2>together and they're intolerable, insufferable. They have a temperament about
<v Speaker 2>them that is very off putting, very mean, girlish, very superficial.
<v Speaker 2>Jade's got nothing of substance to say. It's almost I'm
<v Speaker 2>not saying it's conclusive, but it's not always or not
<v Speaker 2>almost if she's declining, but rather just plateauing. Jade Cargill
<v Speaker 2>is just they've kind of she has been stuck where
<v Speaker 2>she's been for a while, which is kind of a
<v Speaker 2>decline in a way, because you're supposed to at least
<v Speaker 2>be improving month to month and we're not seeing anything
<v Speaker 2>from Jade other than what outfit is she wearing this
<v Speaker 2>week that the fans can gawk at, or that she
<v Speaker 2>wants us to gawk at, or be so impressed with
<v Speaker 2>her muscles like, or imagine how good she smells through
<v Speaker 2>the screen. All these just superficial things that I mean,
<v Speaker 2>she relies on the one car and she's got to
<v Speaker 2>play right now, which is simply her look, which is
<v Speaker 2>I can't say enough about it is outstanding if you're
<v Speaker 2>trying to be a successful pro wrestler. She's got the
<v Speaker 2>look patented, but it can't last forever. And she continues
<v Speaker 2>to go to the well on that because it's the
<v Speaker 2>one card she's got to play. If she has a
<v Speaker 2>good promo, then show us, if she can have a
<v Speaker 2>really good match and ring, show us it's time. And
<v Speaker 2>I'm not talking about the the whole tag team dynamic
<v Speaker 2>with Bianca where she gets the hot tag, does six
<v Speaker 2>moves and then bing bang boom finish in seven minutes,
<v Speaker 2>which we've seen over and over and over. I'm talking
<v Speaker 2>about on her own. Just because she's in a tag
<v Speaker 2>team doesn't mean she can't have a singles match, but clearly,
<v Speaker 2>clearly they don't believe in her enough yet to put
<v Speaker 2>her out there for any more than her you know,
<v Speaker 2>three minute flurry as the hot tag in the in
<v Speaker 2>that tag team. And again not every woman or man
<v Speaker 2>for that reason, for that for that matter, rather need
<v Speaker 2>to be a forty five minute classic type of wrestler.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not saying that. I'm just saying, can you have
<v Speaker 2>a fundamentally sound pro wrestling match in front of a
<v Speaker 2>live crowd. Pretty standard bar here to clear. And my
<v Speaker 2>answer so far is no, she can't, or at least
<v Speaker 2>the WWE doesn't think she can. Maybe she's capable. We've
<v Speaker 2>seen glimpses, As I've said, we've seen glimpses. Rumble debut
<v Speaker 2>was great, We've seen hot tags that you know that
<v Speaker 2>have been a lot of fun and impactful, and the
<v Speaker 2>crowd gets into it. But it's now the same thing
<v Speaker 2>over and over and over and over and then over
<v Speaker 2>and over, and now they've to boot added this obnoxious
<v Speaker 2>team that our obnoxious personality to their team that I
<v Speaker 2>don't think they've done intentionally, or maybe they're not even
<v Speaker 2>aware of how obnoxious it is to listen and watch them.
<v Speaker 2>They're not endearing, they're not relatable individually, they especially for Bianca,
<v Speaker 2>Get the hell out of that team. I know it's
<v Speaker 2>keeping Jade nice and safe and cozy and protected and
<v Speaker 2>hiding her weaknesses. I understand the purpose, but how much
<v Speaker 2>longer are we supposed to sacrifice Beyanca's greatness for Jade's potential?
<v Speaker 2>How much longer are we supposed to do that? I'm
<v Speaker 2>not even asking for Jade versus Beyonca. That'll eventually come.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not asking for that right now. They can split
<v Speaker 2>and go their separate ways without a feud right now.
<v Speaker 2>That can happen. That's fine, But Jade needs to stand
<v Speaker 2>on her own two feet. And I know I'm not
<v Speaker 2>aware of her progress behind the scenes. I don't know
<v Speaker 2>what's going on in the training center. I don't know
<v Speaker 2>what I don't know. But how am I supposed to
<v Speaker 2>know what I don't know. I only know as a
<v Speaker 2>fan on the outside what I see, So that's all
<v Speaker 2>I can judge on. But I'm gonna judge it because
<v Speaker 2>that's what I see, and that's what WWE's allowing me
<v Speaker 2>to see. And I'm seeing an A plus plus plus
<v Speaker 2>a visual star with a C minus to D plus
<v Speaker 2>in ring and personality and promo ability. And that's just
<v Speaker 2>what it is with an A plus all around performer
<v Speaker 2>that Bianca bell Air is from promo to in ring,
<v Speaker 2>especially in ring to music to entrance. Even though I'm
<v Speaker 2>not a fan of the twirling of the hair and
<v Speaker 2>use your guys, no, but she's got it down. She
<v Speaker 2>knows who she is. She can be obnoxious too, but
<v Speaker 2>she backs it up in the ring and even if
<v Speaker 2>she is obnoxious, she makes you still love her because
<v Speaker 2>of how good she is in the ring. And with Jade,
<v Speaker 2>I think it's time, Yeah, sink or swim, push her
<v Speaker 2>out of the nest. Does she fly or does she
<v Speaker 2>go come crashing down to earth? Eventually you have to
<v Speaker 2>implement that experiment and you can't have Mommy Bianca there
<v Speaker 2>every step of the way all the time. Now, with
<v Speaker 2>all that said, with my rant complete, I don't think
<v Speaker 2>I think this will fall on deaf ears to WW
<v Speaker 2>because they feel that they have a potential Hall of
<v Speaker 2>Famer in Jade, and they very well maybe write and
<v Speaker 2>you know what, I hope they're right. I want Jane
<v Speaker 2>to succeed. I'm giving you what I see though currently
<v Speaker 2>I'm not looking into this imaginary crystal ball. But I
<v Speaker 2>think they'll just keep Beyanca with Jade until the time
<v Speaker 2>that they feel Jade can go off on her own,
<v Speaker 2>or if they want to go to Jade versus Bianca road,
<v Speaker 2>they could do that, and they will absolutely do that
<v Speaker 2>at some point. But I just there's something that needs
<v Speaker 2>to shift here. Something needs to shift either. Here's even
<v Speaker 2>what I would accept, here's the middle ground. Fine, you
<v Speaker 2>keep Jade and Beyonca together, But have her do what
<v Speaker 2>Bianca is doing every now and then have a singles
<v Speaker 2>match every now and then with somebody from damage control,
<v Speaker 2>somebody that can really help protect her and Ring weaknesses,
<v Speaker 2>like a E. O. Sky who has been utterly brilliant
<v Speaker 2>over the last several weeks and continues to show how
<v Speaker 2>good she is and remind you how good she is
<v Speaker 2>and has essentially turned babyface in that group. But put
<v Speaker 2>her in there with somebody that can do most of
<v Speaker 2>the work to help protect her if you're that worried.
<v Speaker 2>But the key is, you can only do so much
<v Speaker 2>stuff behind the scenes. Sure she can be busting her
<v Speaker 2>ass of the performance center and she very well. Maybe
<v Speaker 2>maybe she takes the time some time here between photo
<v Speaker 2>shoots to put on Instagram. Maybe she does take thirty
<v Speaker 2>seconds here forty five seconds there between putting on her
<v Speaker 2>perfume and then telling us how good she smells to
<v Speaker 2>work on her hip tosses, you know, or maybe working
<v Speaker 2>on some promo stuff. Maybe she's looking at tape from
<v Speaker 2>previous the previous generation or the current generation to get
<v Speaker 2>get some psychology down and see how people work in
<v Speaker 2>Ring that are better than her, you know. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>I'm being half serious, but don't see all that. We
<v Speaker 2>don't see that. We only see what's put in front
<v Speaker 2>of us, and what's put in front of us has
<v Speaker 2>essentially been the same woman that has been put was
<v Speaker 2>put in front of us a year and a half
<v Speaker 2>ago when she was introduced and picked up from AW.
<v Speaker 2>So I really hope she does succeed. I do, But
<v Speaker 2>if you're not going to turn her heel intentionally, WWE
<v Speaker 2>has to do something quickly, and even more importantly, if
<v Speaker 2>you don't want to damage Bianca, you need to do
<v Speaker 2>something very quickly too, for her and her career. And
<v Speaker 2>you have somebody in an absolute megastar of Bianca who
<v Speaker 2>is a proven commodity, rotting away in a tag team
<v Speaker 2>that has gone on too long for Bianca. And I
<v Speaker 2>hope that there, I hope I'm wrong, and I hope
<v Speaker 2>WWE is right that all of this investment in putting
<v Speaker 2>Bianca with Jade, even though it had Bianca essentially a
<v Speaker 2>non factor in the women's division for eighteen months, be
<v Speaker 2>worth the ultimate goal of having Jade come out of Star,
<v Speaker 2>because that's what they're doing here. It's not about the
<v Speaker 2>women's tag team Championships. No one gives a damn about
<v Speaker 2>the women's Tag team Championships. If they do, if they
<v Speaker 2>tell you that they're lying, So all right, I didn't
<v Speaker 2>expect to want to rent like that tonight. I'm in
<v Speaker 2>in a weird mood, all right. So what else happened
<v Speaker 2>on Monday Night Raw? Sammy z Ain takes on Ludwig Kaiser.
<v Speaker 2>This was fun I mean, Sammy Zain, it's funny. I
<v Speaker 2>was thinking about this because I've said it several times
<v Speaker 2>over the last several weeks that Sammy's Ain is forever
<v Speaker 2>and al an underdog, forever an underdog because most of
<v Speaker 2>the guys he faces are bigger than him. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>he wears plaid. He just looks like he came off of,
<v Speaker 2>you know, off his couch watching Sunday night football and he's,
<v Speaker 2>you know, just stretching to get in the ring and
<v Speaker 2>he's like, okay, guys, time to go to work. And
<v Speaker 2>you know, it doesn't change, and it's fine. It creates
<v Speaker 2>a very endearing character of Sammy's Ain. That's all fine
<v Speaker 2>and well. But you'd think that given that Ludwig Kaiser
<v Speaker 2>is about his size, that he wouldn't work the same
<v Speaker 2>way that he works with somebody that is much bigger
<v Speaker 2>than him, like a Gunther. But essentially, even when he's
<v Speaker 2>working with Ludwig Kaiser, he's working as if he's the underdog.
<v Speaker 2>He just can't help himself. So I found that funny,
<v Speaker 2>not a complaint, just an observation and kind of comical
<v Speaker 2>that that's just how sammy's Ain wrestles. He can't help himself,
<v Speaker 2>but wrestle as the underdog. It's in his DNA. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>he could be wrestling raymis Stereo, he could be wrestling Hornswaggle,
<v Speaker 2>and he would still wrestle as an underdog. And I
<v Speaker 2>just find that funny. You know. I was like, well, okay,
<v Speaker 2>Ludwig Kaiser, you know, maybe we'll get a more dominant
<v Speaker 2>s SAME's Ain as you'd imagine given the size comparison
<v Speaker 2>with those two. Nope, Sammese ains still the underdog. Oh boy.
<v Speaker 2>All right. So this match was very a lot of
<v Speaker 2>fun and Kaiser doesn't get enough credit. Sam he's Ain
<v Speaker 2>beat the Kaiser in twelve minutes, but he should because
<v Speaker 2>he's still on a path to convince Gunter to put
<v Speaker 2>the world title on the line at Bad Blood. But
<v Speaker 2>the finish was Kaiser set up Samy's Ain for I
<v Speaker 2>forget what kind of move, but Zane countered into a
<v Speaker 2>souplex and hit the halluva kick, got the three count
<v Speaker 2>and again very sound fund match. The crowd was into it.
<v Speaker 2>Both men are very talented and I love that. I
<v Speaker 2>mean even the the dropkick of Sammy's Ain's head into
<v Speaker 2>the steps sound and looked great. The blue thunder, mom,
<v Speaker 2>That's always a fun move to watch and just one
<v Speaker 2>of his signatures. The more important piece here, of course,
<v Speaker 2>came after the match that Gunter comes out no suit,
<v Speaker 2>in his ring gear, with his belt around his waist,
<v Speaker 2>and he comes out and says that he's had enough,
<v Speaker 2>He's seen enough, and he wants to come out here
<v Speaker 2>in front of everybody. Here. He gets on the ring
<v Speaker 2>apron and says that you know, you've been coming out
<v Speaker 2>challenging me for weeks, but I've seen enough and I
<v Speaker 2>want to come out here right now in front of
<v Speaker 2>everybody and tell you no. I love Was this the
<v Speaker 2>fourth time in as many weeks that he rejects sammy's
<v Speaker 2>Ain's you know, proposal to challenge him for the world title.
<v Speaker 2>I love this, I mean, boy, they are actually waiting
<v Speaker 2>until the very last a raw before Bad Blood to
<v Speaker 2>make this match official because it's gonna happen. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>it'd be insane if they didn't. So I would imagine
<v Speaker 2>that we have Adam Pierce get involved to be the
<v Speaker 2>one to force gun Third into this match. There's no
<v Speaker 2>other way. I don't think there's anything that Sammy can
<v Speaker 2>say that would change Gunther's mind. If Gunther suddenly turned
<v Speaker 2>on a Diamonds like you know what, U fine, that'd
<v Speaker 2>be a lame gun Ther here has to be forced
<v Speaker 2>and should be forced into this after four weeks of
<v Speaker 2>denying Sammy's Ain, so Adam Pierce will likely be the reason.
<v Speaker 2>Or we have Samy z Ain convinced Adam Piers to
<v Speaker 2>put him in a Number one Contenders match against I
<v Speaker 2>mean whoever and have Samy's Ain win. Therefore Gunther is
<v Speaker 2>forced to face him, which is fine with me too.
<v Speaker 2>We have a Number one Contenders match next week impromptu,
<v Speaker 2>so that's likely the scenario. But Gunther is just even.
<v Speaker 2>Wade Berry was pointing this out that he's funny. Gunther
<v Speaker 2>has a dry sense of humor, but when he when
<v Speaker 2>he told Brett Hart that his favorite wrestler was gold
<v Speaker 2>Bill Goldberg. I mean, how can you how can you
<v Speaker 2>hate that? How can you boo that?

<v Speaker 2>That was just an absolute classic that belongs in the
<v Speaker 2>vault along with all of Gunther's matches, you know, So
<v Speaker 2>this will be a fun match. Yes, do we know

<v Speaker 2>with Oh my god, wow guntherer lost? No, no, no, no, no,
<v Speaker 2>that's no, no, no you don't. You don't fool around
<v Speaker 2>like that with Gunther. Keep him world champion. But you
<v Speaker 2>have Samy's Ain putting up a hell of a fight
<v Speaker 2>no pun intended or halluva fight if you want to
<v Speaker 2>pronounce it like that, but ultimately coming up short. So
<v Speaker 2>it'll be a fun story going into next week. But Gunther,
<v Speaker 2>who is just just everything about this guy is there's
<v Speaker 2>not one part of his character that you're looking at
<v Speaker 2>going man that needs a lot of work, you know,
<v Speaker 2>not one part of his game, I should say, meaning
<v Speaker 2>in its totality, his in ring, his promos, his character,
<v Speaker 2>his entrance, his presence. It's it's all not perfect, of course,

<v Speaker 2>he could just find his promo voice, or if he
<v Speaker 2>could his in rings a little sloppy. There's nothing. There's nothing,
<v Speaker 2>at least significant. You could pick a nitpick, just like
<v Speaker 2>with anybody. You could nit pick the rock, you can
<v Speaker 2>nit pick Stone Cold, you can literally anybody. I'm talking
<v Speaker 2>big obvious gaps in his game. Gun. There's a complete package.
<v Speaker 2>He is a mold of what a professional wrestler, a
<v Speaker 2>top guy, looks like and feels like. So all right.

<v Speaker 2>away from Punk because she can see what it's done
<v Speaker 2>to him. And McIntyre said it doesn't matter what the fans,

<v Speaker 2>promises of his own. McIntyre promised that he will make
<v Speaker 2>Punk bleed a lot. He said it will make him
<v Speaker 2>suffer and feel more pain than he's ever felt, and
<v Speaker 2>said it's appropriate that Punk compare himself to the to
<v Speaker 2>the devil, because it's always been good versus evil, and
<v Speaker 2>that Punk compares himself to a godlike figure, but he's
<v Speaker 2>just a man that he will break permanently inside hell
<v Speaker 2>in a cell. So Punk gives his kind of funeral
<v Speaker 2>like promo. Last week, we get Drew doing the same
<v Speaker 2>this week. I would think next week is the final
<v Speaker 2>confrontation between these two. I would not. I don't want
<v Speaker 2>any physic between these two. Maybe we can have Adam
<v Speaker 2>pier S implement a one time or a one night only,
<v Speaker 2>you know, a ban of any kind of physical contact
<v Speaker 2>if they do the matches off or something like that,
<v Speaker 2>or one of them suspended, because I don't need anymore.
<v Speaker 2>I just need maybe one final confrontation, you know, what
<v Speaker 2>I need. I would do a sit down interview one

<v Speaker 2>the way EO Sky is going, I could see the
<v Speaker 2>fans being in support of EO more than w w
<v Speaker 2>E thinks. I think they could gravitate towards Eo Sky
<v Speaker 2>here even you know, even in a losing effort, if
<v Speaker 2>they're there to just lose to Jake, Jake, Jane and Bianca.
<v Speaker 2>All Right, we got the replay Joe Testator replay the
<v Speaker 2>Roman Reigns Cody Roads video that people have been talking
<v Speaker 2>about a lot the place, which was very well done,
<v Speaker 2>and that would be uh, that would be something they

<v Speaker 2>a women's champion. Obviously she never went that road. But
<v Speaker 2>she didn't fit into the commentary booth at all, and
<v Speaker 2>they tried. It's difficult, But Joe and Wade, I think
<v Speaker 2>are a nice team. I really enjoyed them. I do.

<v Speaker 2>because Balor costs Priest the world title. How are we
<v Speaker 2>forgetting this that needs to be front and center here.
<v Speaker 2>Priest has lost a little momentum the last few weeks,
<v Speaker 2>and I think Baler and Priest is a program we
<v Speaker 2>still have to revisit, as well as side note Otis
<v Speaker 2>and Gable. How has that not been paid off? We
<v Speaker 2>eventually could get there. But the whole payoff after months
<v Speaker 2>of maltreatment and humiliation on natural television, you give him
<v Speaker 2>a shove and that's supposed to be enough. Come on,
<v Speaker 2>I love chad otis is fun? How is that not?
<v Speaker 2>The big payoff was a shove and then I'm gonna
<v Speaker 2>go play with the Wyatts for a few months. I
<v Speaker 2>hope they come back to it. There's it's an unfinished story,
<v Speaker 2>very underwhelming. The story build was great, the shove was
<v Speaker 2>kind of the catalyst for the eventual match, and the
<v Speaker 2>match never happened. All right, I'll move on to things
<v Speaker 2>that actually happened. We got a Pure Fusion Collective promo
<v Speaker 2>video air with Sun Dideville speaking about how other teams
<v Speaker 2>put on spicy outfits and do stupid dances. Shanna Beezer
<v Speaker 2>said they fight for dominance and Zoe Stark said they
<v Speaker 2>are the foundation and future the women's division. Devil closed
<v Speaker 2>by saying, if you want to step up, shoot your shot.
<v Speaker 2>Well here's the problem to Sonya. You guys lose on
<v Speaker 2>a weekly basis, so no one's stepping up to you guys.
<v Speaker 2>You guys are at the bottom of the totem pole.
<v Speaker 2>We're all looking down. The rest of the women's vision
<v Speaker 2>is looking down. You're the one that has to shoot
<v Speaker 2>your shot up right. Pure Fusion Collective is a fun,
<v Speaker 2>fancy name of saying the rest of the women of
<v Speaker 2>the roster that we don't have anything for right now,
<v Speaker 2>and we'll give them a cool name to make it
<v Speaker 2>sound like there's something for them to do. Sorry, it's
<v Speaker 2>a way I call it. That's exactly what these women are.
<v Speaker 2>I enjoy Sonya. I feel like she has been underutilized.
<v Speaker 2>Zoe Stark has been, for lack of a better term, boring. Yes,
<v Speaker 2>she got a robatrist stratus, but that's kind of it.
<v Speaker 2>So Shanna Bezer at one time was a killer, and
<v Speaker 2>I don't have any faith that they're ever going to
<v Speaker 2>really bring that back. She's kind of been defined down
<v Speaker 2>at this point two a level that I don't know
<v Speaker 2>if she can recover from. All Right, that might do
<v Speaker 2>it here because I've then the main event here with
<v Speaker 2>the Interconinental Championship. So yeah, And when I said that
<v Speaker 2>jay Uso beat bron Breaker in nine minutes, I'm mistaken.
<v Speaker 2>It was twenty minutes. So my bad. Those of you
<v Speaker 2>saying what are you talking about nine minutes twenty sorry,
<v Speaker 2>twenty minutes with jay Uso beating bron Breaker actually specifically
<v Speaker 2>twenty minutes and twenty seconds. So hell of a main event,
<v Speaker 2>hell of a show I think overall was very well
<v Speaker 2>done without some criticisms. Of course, big surprise ending and
<v Speaker 2>really next week is the final build to bad Blood.
