Every episode we recap reality television from the Real Housewives Franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset. In addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or scripted as well. 00:00:36 Speaker 2: Rain Drives. 00:00:37 Speaker 1: We're back, Alexis Jensen and Carlos King is here to recap episode five of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Hey, Alexis bou. 00:00:46 Speaker 3: Thing Hello everybody, how are you? I'm good? How are you good? 00:00:53 Speaker 2: Go good and listen. 00:00:54 Speaker 1: We have to get into this episode, so let's get right into it. Alexis, we see a scene between those intercut scene between bows Derry. I feel like it was a third person in that rest. 00:01:12 Speaker 3: O de Where where are you jumping to already? 00:01:15 Speaker 4: You didn't even start on a plane, like like you're you're passing the plane. Because here's the problem, Carlos, what I want to know is where was there a second private jet? Second PJA private jet that carried all of the staff, like their their cooks, their assistants, their hair and makeup, glam and all this, or did those people drive and meet them there to live on the block that they rinted out of Sedona? Or I just want to know where these people were because we didn't see that they were all bringing seventeen crew members. Their taxi drivers were with them, their cooks were with everything. Was I'm like, what that assistants walking in with donuts? 00:01:49 Speaker 3: Where did those How did those people get there? 00:01:52 Speaker 4: Or did they have to fly with the normal people and then the average people on on on jets Jet Blue or or or you know Southwest? 00:02:00 Speaker 1: And then yes, if I had to take a guest, I would say I think it was the latter. So for example, as a producer, when you shoot, the ladies go on private planes, Honey, Like one lucky producer, one lucky camera person, audio gets to fly on the PJ. Honey, the rest of us we're on the commercial flight. 00:02:25 Speaker 4: You're going on Southwest, Honey, you pick your seat, it's a six? 00:02:28 Speaker 2: Yes, what do you get? So like them? And then the glam and then. 00:02:34 Speaker 4: But they brought so many for a three day Sedona. Oh my gosh, okay, I love it. Hey, I'm all for it. I'm here to watch it all. 00:02:44 Speaker 1: I aspire to live that way myself. But that's the beauty of watching this show because you get to see like how the wealthy people live, you know, who are a part of like that percentile. But what did you think of out when you saw so? It was it was Bulls and Derry. I want to say a third person, I couldn't be wrong. But then it was also Kyle and Erica, and they were talking about the conversation that took place in last week's episode where Duriy was explaining to Kyle all of her grievances with Pique and she felt that Kyle was offending him. What shocked me in that scene between Kyle and Erica was Kyle said, I did speak to Mauricio about it. They flashed back to a phone call she had with Mauricio, who said that, no, that's not true. Piku is a great dad, and I've seen text messages where he is trying to see his children and pretty much she. 00:03:52 Speaker 2: Won't let him. 00:03:55 Speaker 4: I kind of felt like Erica, where it's like, Okay, Kyle, you can't get involved. Number one number too, Carlos. It is like, what is the true story? Like you don't know because and the problem with going through divorce is you really don't heal from it for three or four more years and then you go back and reflect and go, Okay, I was kind of doing this or I wasn't doing that, but I I just wonder what is the real truth. But if I'm if I'm Kyle, I am going to try to say out of it. I don't want Maricio to give me information. And the part that stinks is that in a divorce, people do feel like they have to choose sides. Some most of your like a lot of your friends do, but I also appreciate the friends that don't. And it's like, look, we're going to be friends with both of you. And that's kind of where Kyle is. Kyle's like, I don't want to be in the middle, yet she's kind of getting thrown in the middle because Maritio is close with Pique. But yeah, she's just like, I don't want to be in the middle of this, and she's stuck. 00:04:50 Speaker 3: She's stuck that. 00:04:51 Speaker 2: Well, I'm gonna tell you why. 00:04:53 Speaker 1: I strongly believe why Kyle is in the middle. Of it and why she's choosing to, in my opinion, clear her name. 00:05:02 Speaker 2: I think Kyle has seen that Dre is trying to not even that. 00:05:16 Speaker 1: I believe that Kyle is seeing what Deitt is doing and how Derey is trying to position. 00:05:22 Speaker 2: Kyle as a PK apologist, and. 00:05:27 Speaker 1: And Kyle is using the conversation she had in Mauricio as a way of defending herself. Because listen, I have said this for years and and I still stand by it. I do not believe that PK likes Deriy. 00:05:44 Speaker 2: Does he love her? That's the mother of his children. He will always love her. Does he like her? No? Right? 00:05:49 Speaker 1: And I give you guys my reasons, but I will say this last year, last season, Deree, I told you this too. She told everybody what an alcoholic he was right, and I took that as like, Okay, she's trying to embarrass him. This season, she is trying to use Kyle as a way of displaying that. No, my girlfriend is even trying to take up for PK. So let me try to paint Kyle as this PK apologist. 00:06:27 Speaker 2: But the thing is this, if. 00:06:29 Speaker 1: Durree had proof and text messages that showed her in the right. 00:06:36 Speaker 2: I do believe she would have used it by now. 00:06:39 Speaker 1: And now I'm starting to think perhaps dere not only is she using Kyle for a storyline, she could be perhaps. 00:06:49 Speaker 2: Maybe maybe. 00:06:54 Speaker 1: Exaggerating the point when it comes to PK. And that's why Kyle's like, no, bitch, you're not going to You're not going to play me this season like you did last season. 00:07:07 Speaker 2: Wow. 00:07:08 Speaker 4: I had never taken that outlook on it at all. But and I didn't watch last season, so that's part of my problem here. But you are right, Like that makes total sense when you're dissecting it. It's like Dorry is using this to her advantage to have a better storyline than just being like, oh, what was me? 00:07:28 Speaker 3: I'm the divorce a in action, you know. Yeah? And you know what really got me? What you just said? That really got me? Absolutely. 00:07:36 Speaker 4: If she had proof of how horrible he is to her, she would be showing the text and she'd be like, look, Kyle, look he is doing it. 00:07:43 Speaker 3: See he is, And you're right, she's not. 00:07:46 Speaker 2: He's not. 00:07:46 Speaker 4: If you have that evidence, you are playing it. You're bringing it out. 00:07:50 Speaker 1: You're bringing out Hey, listen, one thing I know as a producer, which is when cast members are going through divor Let's be clear, a lot of the stuff range drops that they talk about on the show, it's pretty much evidence to be used in court. It's it's it's it's the reason why they say all these elaborate things. Again, the way she spoke about K and I'm not saying that she's not warranted. All I'm saying is to hear Mauricio say no, I've seen text messages. He is trying to see his children and she won't let him. 00:08:35 Speaker 2: I now am. 00:08:37 Speaker 1: Questioning the validity of de Reed's full statements as relates to PK. 00:08:43 Speaker 4: Hold on though, because here's the thing, even if there's another way that this could be. And for guys, you know, guys tell the. 00:08:50 Speaker 3: Guy version of the story. Girls tell the girl version, which is elaborate, and you got the details. Okay, So for Mauricio, perhaps you know PK does call and say I want to see my kids. I'm in town right now. 00:09:02 Speaker 4: And Doret's right, he can't just fly in when the kids have piano at four, you know, soccer at five, and then dinner at seven, and then homework at eight thirty and gotta be in bed by nine whatever. You can't just swoop in change their entire you know, schedule. Schedule is huge when you have a family. Like for me, I raised my kids on a schedule. It was like we did this. It was a tight ship. And then we'd have our days that we would you know, play around or say screw the schedule today. But for the most part, you do live that, and that's what makes them feel more secure. So I kind of get where if maybe Mauricio's taking it like, well, PK comes in and he's trying to see him when he is in town. Maybe he is only in town every couple weeks or whatever. He's living his best life and he wants to just come in and be like and then and then for Jurite to say, well, it doesn't work that way, PK. 00:09:46 Speaker 3: You want to see the kids. Let's get it on the books. 00:09:47 Speaker 4: We'll move some of their schedule around. You can take him more, but here's the schedule to follow. Get them to their get them to their piano, get them to their karate, get them to their you know what I mean, Like I don't know, I don't know. That's why it's like it's really hard to decide for who's really right right now between p K Andry. It really is for me because I can sit back and go, eh, I could see where it could be. 00:10:07 Speaker 3: A little bit of both. 00:10:08 Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, no, and you're right, and you're right, You're right. One thing that redid say is everything you just said. She did say in her defense that look, he wants to see them when he pops up, and no, they have things to do. 00:10:21 Speaker 2: They have a skill. You can't just pop up. So you are right. 00:10:24 Speaker 3: So perhaps to your Maria is taking it that way. 00:10:27 Speaker 4: Maybe Brici is like, look, she's saying no, but Marius is not thinking, well, PK just flew in for two days and wants to see him on those two days. 00:10:34 Speaker 3: But they have a concert they have that they have to play in, they have a you know, I don't know. You know, it's just a way. 00:10:40 Speaker 2: Until Duck feels safer. Yeah, sometimes these memories were. 00:10:43 Speaker 4: Turned as flacks. 00:10:44 Speaker 3: Okay, that was interesting. 00:10:53 Speaker 4: I'm like, well, now who else is on our pod today? 00:10:56 Speaker 3: Carlos A I p K. 00:11:01 Speaker 1: Okay, So no, you raised a good point. You rased a good point, and that's why for me. Look, DEI and Kyle will never be friends. I'm not sure if you saw this. But Durriiy was on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday and and Diggy did ask Duried He said, look, you know there's you know, rumors that Kyle and Mauricio were hanging out having fun and Asppen possibly getting back together. 00:11:33 Speaker 2: What do you think about that? 00:11:35 Speaker 1: Duri's direct response, and I quote she said, oh, this is so boring. Everybody knows that Maurice and Kyle and their family go to Aspen every year. And let's be clear, if they were back together or even think think about getting back together, Kyle will be the first one to screen to the rooftop and tell everybody. 00:12:04 Speaker 4: I did hear the rumor, and I haven't watched the Watch What Happens Live yet. I planned to watch that tonight or today, you know, whenever, cooking dinner or something, but I can't wait to watch it now that you're saying that. But I did hear the rumor or see some info about possibly Kyle and you know Maricio are snuggling up at you know, on their ski trip. So you're saying Jerite said on Watch What Happens Live, it's a cold in hell before their. 00:12:27 Speaker 1: No, No, she was just saying she feels like she thinks she she said is boring, and by boring, she means like this is not interesting and it's not what you guys think it is. And if it was true, Kyle, who can't hold water and talks to the press, she'll be the first person to tell TMZ anonymously, and that's pretty much. 00:12:54 Speaker 2: What she was. 00:12:54 Speaker 3: Well kind of that is kind of a little dig. 00:12:56 Speaker 4: But you're also saying in the sentence that you don't think they're ever going to be friends again, Kyle and Durie are ever gonna be close again. 00:13:04 Speaker 3: And I don't agree. I don't agree. 00:13:06 Speaker 4: I think I think dereit's just going through a really hard time and like I told you, everything is exasperated, everything's a bigger deal than it is because she's at such a low place in her life and just really hurting. And I think that I think Erica Jane gave the best advice to Kyle and just said, or maybe it was Bose, someone gave advice to Kyle on this episode and just said, sit back and don't even bring up p K's name at all. 00:13:27 Speaker 3: Don't even talk about him. 00:13:29 Speaker 4: If she starts that conversation divert or stay out of it, just don't even bring it up. I think if Kyle does that and Dari gets through this hard, you know, because like Sutton said, you will make it through the other side. It sucks going through it right now you're in the thick water, but you're going to make it to the other side, you know. So it's I think that that's Kyle's best thing. And I mean, you know, we talked about this last week, but you go through friendships where you you are friends for really, really close and then you have a season where you just kind of have to pull back, but then you're you can get close again in another year, you know, when you're both through a little bit of other junk in your life. 00:14:01 Speaker 3: So I don't know, I see you rest in the world. 00:14:04 Speaker 1: We'll see this is reality with the King, and I'm Carlos King. 00:14:10 Speaker 2: Let's get back into the show. 00:14:13 Speaker 1: One world I don't see a friendship happening is between Amanda and so look. 00:14:22 Speaker 2: Unpopular opinion or maybe popular I don't know. 00:14:25 Speaker 1: I haven't run down the social media gamut today, but Amanda is the only one I felt like that's clocked in making sure that we have something to talk about. 00:14:38 Speaker 2: So Amanda goes into. 00:14:40 Speaker 1: Kyle's room and she's like, Kyle, there's something I want to bring up to you. I'm like, okay, Amanda, I need you to go see a better acting coach because we. 00:14:53 Speaker 2: Know that the producers go in and bring it up. 00:14:57 Speaker 1: That is fine, it's fine, but you're the leading response was not the best delivery. But I digress, your newbie, and I'm gonna cut you some slack. 00:15:06 Speaker 4: Yeah, So give her a year, give her one season, give her one season. 00:15:09 Speaker 2: Alexas like, I'm gonna give you one season, girl. Because Alex, she's like, oh, come, there's something I want to bring up. CAUs like, give me your beats. Let's go. 00:15:25 Speaker 1: So Amanda tells Kyle that look some guy as if Amanda hasn't watched The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills since Season one, episode one in the Camilla Grammar Days. But I digress, so she said, some guy named ivy. 00:15:42 Speaker 2: Ari over Boah. I don't know some fine you used to work for something. 00:15:50 Speaker 1: And a friend of mine knows him and he was around her and he said, tell Amantha to call me. I'll give her all the tea about sun Ed And I'm like of Madda, you are messy and I love you. 00:16:08 Speaker 2: I love Amanda Lais. 00:16:12 Speaker 4: I have such a like mix of feelings about her. But the good news is, like I said last week, you want to keep watching more. I think she did redeem herself a little bit. Although she's just still talking. I mean, she's gonna watch the season play back and next year. She's not going to talk next season and she's asked back she will never bring up a material thing again, because I know she's probably cringing every time now that they're pulling it out, and she's. 00:16:30 Speaker 3: Like, I'm the this of my sence Treena and my Chanel backgap. 00:16:33 Speaker 4: It's like it's like everything has a label or a name or a or a reason or I I'm. 00:16:38 Speaker 3: Seventeen alligator bags. I have a ton of them, a lot of them, A. 00:16:41 Speaker 4: Lot, a lot, you know, And I love Boza's or no who whose reaction went, oh, oh, of course Jennifer Tilly, who cracked me up this. 00:16:50 Speaker 3: Entire this tiremist. But I laughed out loud and snorted several times with her. 00:16:54 Speaker 4: Anyway, She's like, oh, okay about the you know, seventy five million bags. 00:16:59 Speaker 3: She as her alligator. 00:17:00 Speaker 4: But I feel like Jennifer that uh Amanda is definitely like a good fresh like you said, like she's bringing new energy. She is clocked in. The other women are kind of some of them are flocked out. Yeah, she's she's there to hold everyone accountable, and she's not scared to say, oh do you cry? Often after she's just like, had the worst conversation. 00:17:23 Speaker 2: Ever with I love it. 00:17:26 Speaker 4: She might as well just said, you have a booger in your left nose nostril, you know. 00:17:29 Speaker 1: Like so I love hecause she's calling things out and listen, the thing is this, we do want to know what happened to sut In, the former assistant latch house manager. And I appreciate her for bringing it, for talking to call about it, and then as we're about to get into now bringing it to Sting. 00:17:52 Speaker 2: So what do what are you? 00:17:53 Speaker 4: Okay, here's my take on it, and I want to see if you agree or not. I feel like when you saw Sudden, first of all, Sutton's creating her. 00:17:59 Speaker 3: Own work nightmare. 00:18:00 Speaker 4: You know that if the more you don't want to bring something up on this national television show that you're on, the more the producers are going to want it, and the more that the other castmates are gonna want it, and you're creating a bigger storm where it could have just been. 00:18:10 Speaker 3: Five rain drops. Okay, oh rain drops. 00:18:14 Speaker 4: Anyway, I feel like all she needed to do was simply say at the very beginning, look, it's too faint painful for me to talk about I loved him. I've lost my husband, I've lost my closest person, other best friend to me and my house manager or whatever. 00:18:27 Speaker 3: I mean. Because you do get close with your staff. You know this. 00:18:29 Speaker 4: If you have people to work with you, you become You don't even mean to, you just do because they know everything from when the day you have diarrhea to the day that you have the flu to the day that you are feeling great. They know everything right because they're there. So I feel like it might must be pretty painful for Sutton. However, part of me does feel like there's something she doesn't want everyone to know. And that's what's sad for her, is that if she would have just said at the very beginning, it's too painful, he's too close to me, and now we don't have a friendship. I don't and I don't want to talk about it at all, probably would have let things kind of go away faster. But because she's been like so dancing around it and didn't say that at first, now it's led everybody to feel like, there's got to be more of the story. 00:19:10 Speaker 3: Let's get to the more of the story, you know, So what do you do? 00:19:13 Speaker 2: I think there's more to the story. 00:19:15 Speaker 1: I think look, when Amanda confronted something about it, this is who Sutton is to me, right, I think something is somebody And this is what I cannot stomach about reality stars who are themselves and they have a season where you know, the audience may not appreciate their honesty because you know, the moral police on social media, who's perfect? 00:19:51 Speaker 2: They want everybody to be perfect? Right something last season gave a lot of. 00:20:00 Speaker 1: Harsh raw commentary two three, how her wallet doesn't match her size and you're don't be mad and be be mad at her life. As we saw in the playback this episode, Sutton was non existent at the reunion. I forgot she was there. She looked like she was a part of the fabric on the couch because she blended in there. She she did not stand out. She she she gave, she gave absolutely nothing. 00:20:34 Speaker 3: Are you talking about? 00:20:35 Speaker 2: Is this is this? 00:20:36 Speaker 4: Is this outfit? Why is like her her glamor? Or was it just your personality? 00:20:41 Speaker 1: Okay, personality? Like she she just blended in with the couch, got it? I forgot she was there right the the the spuck that she that she does have. 00:20:52 Speaker 2: Dissipated at the reunion. Well, bother is me about? 00:20:55 Speaker 1: Reality starts when they do this and listen, we're gonna have a real conversation. 00:20:58 Speaker 2: Lexis Milino. 00:21:01 Speaker 1: Is when they have a tough season and in the following season, all of a sudden, I want to change the error of my ways. I'm going to therapy. I'm seeking anger management coach. I have a life coach. 00:21:17 Speaker 2: You know. I'm I'm a wallflower. 00:21:20 Speaker 1: I'm an angel and I I'm trying to learn more about the era of my ways. It's all bullshit. It's all bullshit. It's not fair. It is fair because it's true, it's true. 00:21:32 Speaker 4: Tell me, why then, why do you think that you can't reflect on what because you can want yourself a season and. 00:21:36 Speaker 3: Realize I don't like that about me. I'm going to change it. 00:21:39 Speaker 4: That's probably what Sutton did. So why are you so like Debbie Downer right now that you don't believe that. 00:21:44 Speaker 2: She's Debbie, she's no because you're. 00:21:48 Speaker 4: You are saying, you're saying it's all bull crap, that she really isn't having a life coach and doing all this about herself. But couldn't you have watched yourself be the wallflower on the couch last season and be like, I don't want to be that next season. I'm going to make that change. Or where are you coming forget? 00:22:02 Speaker 3: Tell me where? You don't why? You don't believe why? 00:22:06 Speaker 1: Because when it comes to human behavior, when it comes to listen, this is not her first season, right, So the moment Sutton appeared on the Real Housewives of Bellvy Hills as a friend, she told Teddy Mellencamp and I thought you were going to be boring and god, you're pregnant. 00:22:25 Speaker 2: That told me everything I need to know about who you are. 00:22:27 Speaker 1: You saying, you say things that a lot of people won't say. I find that to be interesting. Right, Sutton lost guard sell last season and Sutton said things to Dory that I found to be a good read. But unfortunately the moral police of social media read her for it. So when she comes in this season. The reason why she let Avy go, in my opinion, is because Sutton is trying to not become that same person last season. I believe that Ibvy knows a lot about Suddon and maybe was maybe influenced Sudden a way. I believe Ivy gave Sudden reads. I believe he told her how to drag dor read. It did not work in her favor. She dismissed him. You see that Sudden is a control freak. The way she speaks to Jennifer Tilly is so rude, it's so nasty because she feels like, I we're gonna get into this too. She feels like, Jennifer Tilly, you may have more money than me, but I brought you on the show and I could take you out. 00:23:34 Speaker 2: And that's the reason why she is very snippy. 00:23:37 Speaker 1: So she hasn't in her but she's trying her best to appear to be this evolved woman. And yes, you can't call it as a person. However, who you are is who you are. And I don't believe for one second that Sudden is all of a sudden the second coming of Christ. 00:23:58 Speaker 2: And it's who who doesn't. 00:24:02 Speaker 1: Have the kick that she used to have. I think it's all bullshit and performative. 00:24:08 Speaker 4: She's okay, Wow, She's definitely still got her little stings. 00:24:13 Speaker 3: She Sutton still does her stings like that has. 00:24:15 Speaker 4: Not that is not lost at all like in her new you know, revival of Sutton Brown. But so I do hear and see that with what you're saying. However, I do feel that she's trying. I feel like she's in a little bit of a vortex. Let's just say. I think she's in her own vortex because of the fact that she is wanting to make these changes. She has lost two very important people in her life. She didn't like how it was last season. Now three people actually because Garcel too. I think all of this plays in Sutton's minds where she's like, I kind of want to be different, I want to do different, I want to be better. But her zingers still come in full effect. And you're right, you can't take the leopard, can't change its stice. 00:24:55 Speaker 3: It's spots. 00:24:55 Speaker 4: So she she still has her spots. Can she evolve a little? 00:25:00 Speaker 2: Yeah? 00:25:01 Speaker 3: Is this the season that I'm gonna believe it's happened? 00:25:03 Speaker 4: In all of her therapy and life, coaches and everything is working. No, I think she's got a couple more seasons. We're going to need to see all of this happen. But I think he might be right. I think she might just go back to the old sudden. I think she's just gonna be like, I'm just gonna stay myself. 00:25:17 Speaker 3: I can't, I can't try to be a bad person. 00:25:19 Speaker 1: Yes, and that's what and and Amanda, listen, I know that Amanda, unfortunately is trying to do her job and rain drops hear me out. Cut Amanda some slack because as a newbie, she's trying to find her footing. And I'm gonna say this, she also is being encouraged to bring things up. 00:25:46 Speaker 2: That is true. That is true when she. 00:25:50 Speaker 1: Walks in giving a horrible Jennifer Lawrence performance of breaking up a topic, is because she's encouraged to do it. It's real, but she was told to do it, So cut her some some slack. However, when Sutton said, I know what you're doing, Amanda, You're you're you're trying to get attention, which translation alexis as you know, you're trying to get a moment out of me to make your mark on the show. 00:26:18 Speaker 4: Right, The same as that have the exact same take as you one million percent. But the part that you know the rain drops don't know because they haven't filmed most of them haven't filmed a reality show, is that the producers are telling you what you need to bring up. Like if they know something, they're like, you can't go sit there and just drink your your your alani and and your iced tea and go on. You've got to go and talk about this and just get it out on the table. And so, yeah, she's doing her she's doing her talking points, she's doing her jobs, period, You're right, and so so you can't blame her. So you do need to give Amanda a chance, just like you do anybody else because there's i mean, every single one of them have had times where you know that that was a talking point, that they knew that during that or that shopping fest or whatever they're doing, was meant to have this talked about right now on camera. You know that when you're you know, you can see it. So all the housewives have to do it. So it's not just Amanda. Amanda's just getting a little bit of a hard knock because she is the newbie, and every newbie has to go through this. There's you know, every newbie goes through the induct what's it called induction or you know, the hazing process or whatever, where America kind of hates you or doesn't like X, Y and Z about you, but then they start to fall in love with you. 00:27:28 Speaker 3: So it's just part of the process. 00:27:30 Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, no, agreed, agreed, Agree, And that's why for me is one of those things where I'm just sort of like, look, the producers don't tell you what to say. This is me speaking as producer. We don't tell you what to say. But in terms of story, yes, if you're just beIN making a producer, because let me tell you hard words, and Alexa, you stop me if I'm wrong. And granted, granted all production works differently, but Alex, but Alexa's being a reality star. 00:27:59 Speaker 2: She can tell you, guys if I am if I'm not telling the truth. Okay. 00:28:04 Speaker 1: Every week the reality girlies, they speak to their producer, how is your week, what's going on? How do you feel about so and so, how did you feel about that scene? 00:28:13 Speaker 2: Lah? Blah blah. 00:28:15 Speaker 1: Right, Amanda, in my opinion, told her producers. Hey, by the way, you know, Abby said this to me about Sutton, and the producer goes, okay, right, So our job as producers is to find the right moment when that can come out. 00:28:35 Speaker 2: Right. So the producers told, in my opinion, allegedly. 00:28:40 Speaker 1: Told Amanda, hey, remember what you told us, Yes, tell Kyle okay. So she tells Kyle right. The producer, hey, when you're front of Sutton, bring it up to Ston okay. So again, we don't tell you what you say, but if you do tell us something about a cast number, all you're light or whatever that we find to be interesting for the show, we do encourage you to bring it up at the right moment. And that's what a man that was doing, and that's why sut and clopped it and said she wants attention, which means more camera time exactly. 00:29:19 Speaker 4: But you know, in fairness to Amanda and what you said about the you know, it's basically storyline. 00:29:25 Speaker 3: The producers need to move the storyline along. 00:29:27 Speaker 4: Otherwise you're going to sit and watch a TV show that's like watching paint dry, and it's going to lose every viewer it has and the show is going to die. So at the same time, you have to you have to understand it. You have to put story along the line along. The producers have to, like you said, find the time for the cast member to mention it. But also you can't and then you can't mention something one episode and not you know, have it brought back up again to have the final closure of that one topic. 00:29:53 Speaker 3: You have to you have to follow through. 00:29:55 Speaker 4: So because of this ABVI story with Amanda, Amanda now has to bring it up to for a few certain people, they're gonna have to have closure on it. 00:30:02 Speaker 3: It's gonna be brought up with the reunion now. 00:30:04 Speaker 4: But it's like it's part of what makes the show go on because otherwise, especially Beverly Hills are so per slipped. They wouldn't talk about anything except for how much snow Big Bear got, and they don't even go to Big Bear, you know what I mean. It's like, I don't know, we wouldn't have all the fun that we have if the producers didn't help say, okay, bring us up now, or this has to be brought up. 00:30:25 Speaker 2: So yeah, it's a team. 00:30:26 Speaker 1: Work, it's team marked, it's a team effort, and you're right, listen, the reason why it's a slow burn this season two is because none of these girls and Alexis. 00:30:36 Speaker 2: I would love to get your POV. Listen, Listen, Linda, Linda, listen. 00:30:43 Speaker 1: Ohc honey, honey, honey, honey. The reason why OC is celebrating their upcoming twentieth season is because past and press it those OC girls. 00:31:03 Speaker 2: Alexis shout out to you as well. Y'all bring shit up and hold feet to the fire. 00:31:12 Speaker 1: One thing about the OC girlies is when you and I would love I would love to get your opinion on this because I never asked you this even privately. When you, Alexis, would be at like a dinner scene with the girls, right, would you know, like something's gonna happen, like we're at dinner, Like, are you girlies aware that all right? If I'm not the person that gonna break up something, somebody else is And are you guys just waiting for the shoot to drop and you're like cutting your stake? 00:31:52 Speaker 2: Alexis nodding for my listeners. 00:31:54 Speaker 4: It is so spot on, you know, And the problem is that when it gets scary, when you start your your your butt starts to pucker. 00:32:01 Speaker 3: A little bit, is when you know or when you don't know who it's gonna be about. Because that means it's probably you. 00:32:07 Speaker 4: So you're hoping that you've heard a little, you know, some some little whisper in your voice that oh, tonight we're gonna tell you know, you know, uh Gina about you know, I. 00:32:16 Speaker 3: Don't know, we're gonna talk about her DUI back in you know, decade ago or whatever. 00:32:19 Speaker 4: But it's like, it's like, if you don't know what that dinner is gonna be about, you're sitting there going, holy crap, it's probably me. 00:32:24 Speaker 3: So you are bracing for impact. You are cutting that steak, but you're cutting out like this. Carlos, you were like, uh, who's gonna do it? 00:32:32 Speaker 2: Who's bringing it to me? I'm ready? 00:32:37 Speaker 3: Guys, you. 00:32:40 Speaker 4: Might be acting. You might be eating like this. Carlos, you might be doing this an acting, you know, because you're like, but inside you are doing the whole. 00:32:48 Speaker 3: I'm giving you that steak some buck takes. Somebody's eyes are right now because I know they're going to bring something up that I don't really want to talk about. 00:32:53 Speaker 4: But I know it's got to be me because I didn't hear any whisper or chatter about who this dinner's about. 00:33:01 Speaker 1: And guess what, I've always learned is you're gonna love this. If you don't have the beat, you are the beat. 00:33:09 Speaker 4: Okay, that's exactly what I just said, but you said it's so much more profoundly that's exactly the truth. 00:33:14 Speaker 3: Yes, yes, so you know, but that's okay, you know. 00:33:17 Speaker 4: Because that's part of the show. That's part of what you're doing. You're there for a reason. Yeah, bring the ratings, to. 00:33:22 Speaker 2: Bring the ratings, and that's why for me. 00:33:24 Speaker 1: So when you watch the Billie here girls at the Table, so again a man that brought it up some and shuts it down. 00:33:32 Speaker 2: She says she's uncomfortable talking about it. 00:33:35 Speaker 1: I feel like if we had Tamra, Emily, Gina, Alexis, Heather Vicki, Shannon. 00:33:43 Speaker 5: Jen somebody would say, okay, but why don't you want to tell it to me? 00:33:53 Speaker 1: Is the most obvious question to ask somebody, Like, while I understand you guys for friends, you also have to understand where we're coming from. 00:34:04 Speaker 2: You want us to adore you the way Garcel did you, the. 00:34:09 Speaker 1: Way you Sutton asked us all these questions about p que my money, Tom Girardi, my case. It is weird that you don't have him anymore. Can you let us in us something? And I felt like, that's why I'm giving Aman the grace because to me, it was just odd that nobody wanted to ask a follow up question. 00:34:33 Speaker 4: I think that was so bizarre that all seven or eight women sat around that table and did not do what you said, which OC women would have done. One of the women in OC would have been like, okay, Sutton, but then just give us, give us. 00:34:44 Speaker 3: A grain of salt, give us one grain of why it blew up. 00:34:48 Speaker 4: I get that you're hurt, but there's a reason and there's something you don't want to talk about, kind of. 00:34:51 Speaker 3: Like Kyle was. 00:34:53 Speaker 4: You know, it goes back to Kyle does the exact same thing. When Kyle kept pur slift about her relationship. Once she said it's because my partner did not want to be talked about and does not want to be talked about. Everyone goes, oh, that's why you were being so you know, evasive about it. However, Sutton is doing it and instead of the women, all the women set around at that dinner and when she's like, I don't ever want to talk about it again, and you guys can talk behind my back, but do not bring it up in front of me, and every woman just sat there and was like okay. It's like, hey, old, I'm not going to go okay, you're on a reality show. You're on a reality show. You need to tell us what the hell happened. And even if you don't want to talk about it, say you know what it ended kind of ugly. We got into a fight. We did not end on good terms. That's all you need to know. 00:35:39 Speaker 3: We're not. 00:35:39 Speaker 4: But she's she's being so elusive or evasive. What word am I looking for here? But it's like it brings more elusive, it brings more attention to it, you know, and the other women. That's the difference between OC and Beverly Hills. Those women Beverly Hills just go, you know, kind of just like okay, change the subjects, let's move on. 00:35:57 Speaker 3: And OC people do not do that. We do not us girls, do not let that go. We are going to get to the bottom of it. 00:36:04 Speaker 4: Whether it's this dinner or seven dinners later, We're going to get to the bottom. 00:36:10 Speaker 2: I like to stand whether this dinner or seven dinners later. 00:36:14 Speaker 4: But guess up there you might as well, you know what, everyone's kind of watching their clock going I don't want to have seven more of these. 00:36:20 Speaker 3: This is grueling. Can you just bring out the bullshit now and tell us the truth so that we can move on. 00:36:25 Speaker 4: In the next dinner, maybe we can have a lollipop dessert instead of like this, Like I. 00:36:29 Speaker 1: Mean, that's that's my issue when they are around each other and nobody wants to bring it up. 00:36:43 Speaker 2: So Amanda, listen, Amanda was doing. 00:36:46 Speaker 1: Her job this this episode, so not only did what Alexis said happened where Sun said and. 00:36:53 Speaker 2: Don't break it up around me. I do not want to talk about anymore. You are talking behind my back. 00:36:59 Speaker 1: Do behind my back exactly. Don't break it up to me. And they're like, okay, girl, Amanda says. 00:37:04 Speaker 2: Bitch, I'm new I'm doing it again. 00:37:06 Speaker 1: So then Amanda, well, the second night at dinner, goes, hey, Sutton, are. 00:37:15 Speaker 6: You still upset about what happened yesterday? You called me missy in the kitchen and you know you didn't seem like yourself. You know, you had the main course, and she goes, I have the main course and about the girls, about the proteas. 00:37:40 Speaker 3: It is kind of true, though, Carlos. But first of all, let me let me start with this. 00:37:44 Speaker 4: It is true that Sutton, Sorry, honey, you didn't have the main course, because everyone's waiting for the bird or their or their or their cow. 00:37:50 Speaker 3: They want that on their plate. 00:37:51 Speaker 4: And unless they're vegetarian like Carlos King, they're wanting their They're wanting their bird. 00:37:54 Speaker 3: Or their cow, you know, or their fish. 00:37:57 Speaker 4: And then they are gonna put a little bite apasta for us that want to see slim. We eat two bites of pasta and you know, and then they're gonna have their their pile of greens. 00:38:04 Speaker 3: That's that's it. 00:38:05 Speaker 4: So I'm sorry you didn't have the main course. But what kills me if on this episode and about this dinner. These women have their glam squad and they're getting here and make up of the clucket to go have a thirty minute dinner and go wipe. 00:38:20 Speaker 2: It all off. I spit it out. 00:38:22 Speaker 3: Let's just spend an hour and a half in makeup from ten to eleven, go have dinner from eleven to eleven, thirty or forty five, and then we're gonna go watch it all off to bed. 00:38:32 Speaker 1: I was like, I. 00:38:32 Speaker 4: Want to come with no makeup, no glam, hair in a ponytail like. 00:38:36 Speaker 2: Like, I'm ready, let's go, guys. 00:38:37 Speaker 4: I would have at that point, I probably would have come down in my pajamas, you know, like just I'm just gonna throw my pajamas on, eat a morsel while y'all look glad. 00:38:44 Speaker 3: That's fine, but it's a waste of an hour a half of my time to have my hair. 00:38:46 Speaker 4: Makeup done for me to go wipe it all off and go to bed. 00:38:51 Speaker 3: But I need my bird first. I need my chicken in my mouth. 00:38:54 Speaker 1: And then yeah, she's like, look you have the protein. So sorry, that's what it was. And I'm like, I listen, I'm sorry, guys. I love him, Mamma. She's the only one working. And once again she brings up the elephant in the room, and Sutton starts crying because she's like, why are you doing this to me again? 00:39:14 Speaker 2: And Erica's even like, look what you said, Alex is like, look it is weird. Bring it up. What happened? 00:39:25 Speaker 4: Like you're politely yet politely trying to be like, Sutton, just put this to rest, put it to rest, and let's be done with it. Erica was very gently trying to do that with Suddon. It went right over Sutton's head. Sutton just does not want to talk about it. You know that this will make a good reunion though, because I know Andy Cohen will not just let this go. Andy Cohen's going to get to the bottom of it at third Union and be like, Sutton, we're here. You got to tell us what the hell happened because it's not dying down. You've made the story even bigger because you don't want to talk about it. 00:39:53 Speaker 3: Just just tell us what's happening. Like I'm hoping that'll happen. If it doesn't happen at one of the next seven dinners, No. 00:39:59 Speaker 2: It needs happened. And I I will say this. 00:40:03 Speaker 1: Ston said that, you know she she doesn't believe that Abby said that that He said call me, I'll give you a t which made me think, oh, oh. 00:40:15 Speaker 3: I do I believe said it? 00:40:17 Speaker 2: Tell me why? 00:40:18 Speaker 3: Because there's no way. 00:40:19 Speaker 4: It's too much like like Amanda's new she doesn't really know much, you know about the behind the scenes kind of stuff. It's like her friend. She even named her friend, Alana. She even named the friend that was there that talked to Abby. 00:40:31 Speaker 3: You know what, Page six is not hard to get ahold of. 00:40:33 Speaker 4: Abby needs to call page six and put his story out there and tell everybody so we can all just like. 00:40:39 Speaker 2: Me and you Alexis and come around. 00:40:41 Speaker 3: Okay, auvy d m us for our phone number. Hey, Abby, we need to hear the story. Like, let's just get it out there, okay, and. 00:40:48 Speaker 1: Unlike, oh see, we will not distort your voice. What do you mean what remember when the person contacted Gina. 00:41:02 Speaker 4: Oh sorry, Abby, we are gonna you are going to have a face to put with the name. 00:41:06 Speaker 2: In your voice. 00:41:10 Speaker 4: You no, No, we are Yeah, we're gonna bring true truth. 00:41:17 Speaker 2: Yes, you know where to find us. Okay. 00:41:21 Speaker 1: The reason why I believe listen, I grew through I think Abby did say it. Now, the reason why felt confidence saying I don't think he said it. One thing I do believe happened. I believe Abby did sign an ironclad n d A. 00:41:35 Speaker 4: Oh so he can't come to us, Carlos, that would be a contract. 00:41:42 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:41:42 Speaker 1: So she felt so confident when she was like, I don't believe he said it. 00:41:48 Speaker 2: I believe that he signed an n d A. 00:41:53 Speaker 1: And son, if he did not have one, you're crazy because you're sounding and he should have No, you. 00:41:58 Speaker 4: Gotta have an India for a employee that you have when you're on TV. But so maybe, but here's the other thing. Does the NDA, I guess it would. 00:42:08 Speaker 2: It would. 00:42:09 Speaker 4: It would mean even for a like telling your side of why you got fired or why you got let go. 00:42:14 Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it would. It's bad. 00:42:17 Speaker 3: Oh so then he's never going to reach out to us, dang it. 00:42:19 Speaker 1: If he did side one, That's why it is interesting because look, if he did say it, it is weird to make a comment like that knowing you did. But I agree with you, Alexis. I don't think Amanda will make that up. 00:42:35 Speaker 2: It's so bizarre. 00:42:36 Speaker 4: So maybe maybe maybe he said it and he knows he can't really like, let's just say he said this to put a little dig dig on Sutton because even he knows, even if Amanda does call, or she he did call Amanda, he can't give her any information. But it's still gay. It still put a dagger in Sutton's heart. So maybe that was behind the closed door, like behind the doorway of getting to Sutton and being like, yeah, girl, I can't tell the story because I signed an ironclad NDA, but I'm still going to jab ye'll lit'tle give you a little run for your back, because Sutton does seem way too You're right, she seems way. 00:43:07 Speaker 3: Too calm about like, oh, is he gonna really tell his side? 00:43:11 Speaker 4: It has to be that they have the nda has to be because she's wait, yeah, yeah, yeah. 00:43:18 Speaker 2: Yeah, No, it's true. It's true. 00:43:20 Speaker 1: That's why I'm like, Okay, on second thought, I agree with you, Like it's sort of the sting that look, I believe Avi was hurt whatever happened, even Jennifer Tilly's like I expected it to be, like Okay, they're mad at each other or she's mad at Oh yeah, let me come back. 00:43:39 Speaker 4: When you have an employee that's basically like your best friend or you like my hair and makeup. 00:43:44 Speaker 3: Girl's been with me for twenty years, you know. My sister's been with me for four or five years. 00:43:48 Speaker 4: Like, when you have people that are that close to you and work with you, you do form a true friendship. So regardless of what happened between Sutton and Auby, it's still gonna hurt, and both of them probably hurt. They're both probably hurt, and Abby probably does I still want his job with Sutton. I mean it would be wouldn't be a fun job. I'd love to be Ston's assistant. I mean, although I wouldn't take her shit, probably probably be a little bit more. 00:44:07 Speaker 3: I don't know. I might have lost my job one day two, but. 00:44:11 Speaker 4: Anyway, I mean it would be fun to be her assistant. So I'm sure obvious sad, you know, but I think Sutton's her too. She had tears. Those were legitimate tears. That was not a fake cry like some OC people have done. It was real tears. Okay, so there's pain. 00:44:33 Speaker 2: I picked up what you dropped. Thank you. 00:44:35 Speaker 1: Okay, all of that being said, alexis either way for me, Okay, but just yeah, Jennifer Tieley, Oh, she's trying to like have conversation with someting. Sun shuts her down and then she goes to the bathroom with Kyle and then she drops the bomb and says, this is the reason why Garcel left because when it's about Sutton, Sutton only wants it to be about her. And I'm like, oh shit, Jennifer Tilly just dropped the bomb of the episode that this is who you are. 00:45:15 Speaker 2: It has to be about you. 00:45:16 Speaker 3: But do you believe do you? Okay? 00:45:18 Speaker 4: Because she said she phrased it like my view on it, And I don't know, we'd have to rewatch it to get the thing. 00:45:22 Speaker 3: But my view on that was Sutton or Jennifer Tilly. 00:45:25 Speaker 4: Who I love and she's just so funny. I like seeing her Sirius side this time too. But I took it like Jennifer said, maybe this is why Garcel had had enough, because Jennifer's got and you know, they did go they did flash back and show just this season where Sutton has snapped at and been a little bit at Jennifer, you know. And the thing is is you, you know, just like when your kids slammed the door in your face, but they're not mad at you. 00:45:49 Speaker 3: They're really mad at something that happened at school. 00:45:50 Speaker 4: It's like, yeah, it's like you do take things out of the person closest to you. 00:45:55 Speaker 3: So I wonder if that's part of what's going on with Sutton. 00:45:57 Speaker 4: But also there are very there are several that you can rack up on your fingers of times where sudden bit at Jennifer out of a little bit out of line. And I thought Jennifer was just saying, maybe this is why Garcel left. Maybe this has something to do with it, because it's always about Sutton. But you're saying you think Jennifer knows this is why Garcel left, or is that you think Jennifer has more knowledge and thinks in this Okay, yeah, wow. Is Jennifer and gar are Jennifer and Garcel friends? 00:46:26 Speaker 2: Yeah? 00:46:26 Speaker 3: Friendly? Oh they are? 00:46:27 Speaker 1: Well, they're yeah, they're friendly. Courtesy of obviously Son introducing. But I believe that, Look, you know this, when you're not filming, or after you're you're filming, rather you talk, you know, like after you're done filming, you go with your girlfriend and you recap what happened. 00:46:43 Speaker 2: I think Suddon and Garcel did that. 00:46:44 Speaker 1: Jennifer tib was in the room, and I think Garcela had a lot of things to say because Garcel did say last season and you have to go. Garcel did say last season to Sutton, the conversations we have off camera, I bring them up on camera. You don't have my back as if you don't feel this way. 00:47:07 Speaker 3: But I thought, okay, correct me if I'm wrong. 00:47:10 Speaker 4: I thought, because I did watch the reunion last year before we started recapping this, just so I could kind of get a sense of the women, right, So I don't I didn't watch the whole season, so I need your help on this. But I thought that Garcel completely cut off Sutton, like Sutton has not talked to her after filming is done. I thought Sutton doesn't know why Garcel ever left and has completely avoided the friendship and there is no friendship. I thought Garcel ghosted Sutton. But you're making it seem. 00:47:36 Speaker 1: Like you you did after the reunion Garcel ghosted Sutton. However, However, all of last season, before the reunion, uh huh, camera, Garcel would bring up Kyle's relationship with Morgan and ask questions around Kyle and to Kyle while Sutton was there, and Garcel would be like, we feel this way, and we'll look at like, well, bitch, are you not going to tell how you feel? And I will be silent, and Garcel would say, interview, we talked about this off camera, and I'm bringing it up and you're quiet as a church mouse. 00:48:17 Speaker 3: But I thought that you and I had this conversation. 00:48:19 Speaker 4: And it's kind of like there are times when you film with your castmates where you say, this is not a TV conversation, especially if it's about your kid, if it's about something you really don't want to be brought up on TV. Don't you think that maybe Garcel or some and said I don't want to talk about this on camera and Garcel overstepped her footing. Or do you feel like you feel like whatever you say to your castmate during filming season, it should just be all all It should all be for you know, it can be all be used because I don't I feel like if you tell your friend please don't please don't talk about this. I'm just telling you something that's really hard for me today. I just don't want to talk about it. It's not storylined this and that I feel like if you have a true friendship, not a TV friendship, your true friend is gonna honor that. So I would have felt like Sutton and Garcel had that conversation off camera and Sutton was sitting or going I didn't want to bring up on camera and Garcel just did anyway, Okay. 00:49:10 Speaker 1: No, no, Because the thing is Garcel said it a couple of times and even even confronted something about it, and Sutton never said that because I do I do believe strongly Garcel was such a good friend of Sutton that if Sun said I don't want to bring it up. Garcel will never do it because because because because Garcella also had that stance when it came to seeing Erica Jane say something about her children. 00:49:38 Speaker 2: So they do have that pact, right, all the girls do. Don't bring this up. 00:49:43 Speaker 1: But I don't believe that Ston ever told garselves we can gossip about this, just don't bring it up on camera, because Gel, as a true friend, would have respected Sutton's request. 00:49:54 Speaker 4: Okay, well, then that is something that they just have to work out together. I mean that's probably why they're not friends then, because Garcel's like, why are you freezing up on me? 00:50:03 Speaker 2: Why? 00:50:03 Speaker 3: Why are you? It makes you feel like you don't really know your friend. 00:50:06 Speaker 4: If they just freeze up on you and you don't know the reason why, it makes you think, why are you doing this? 00:50:11 Speaker 3: Like what we talked about this? 00:50:13 Speaker 4: You know we're on a reality show. You didn't say, don't talk about this on camera. You didn't you didn't do a pact with me, like a peaky promise that this stays between us, you know? So you're right, that could that could you'd finally get tired and burnt out on your friend and be like, I. 00:50:26 Speaker 3: Just don't know who you are. I don't because you are one way and then you don't you're not. I don't know. 00:50:31 Speaker 4: I do feel like I feel like Sutton after we keep talking this through. I feel like since last year, I think she's kind of having an identity crisis. 00:50:39 Speaker 3: I think she is. I think the last name change is a real thing. 00:50:43 Speaker 4: I think she's having identity crisis right now, even last season. From what you've said, it sounds like she was even starting it then, and I think it's bleeding into this season. So maybe by next season, after she's watched all this playback, maybe she'll start to get back comfortable with who she really is. 00:50:59 Speaker 3: Again m hm, I agree with you. 00:51:01 Speaker 1: I actually agree with you. I think the I didn't think about that till you said it. I actually agree with you. I think the last name change. 00:51:08 Speaker 3: Just the who last year of her life. I think the whole last year of her life. 00:51:11 Speaker 4: Yeah too has been a very big like who am I really? 00:51:16 Speaker 3: Who am I? 00:51:17 Speaker 1: You know? 00:51:18 Speaker 2: Yeah? No good point points are made. Points are made. 00:51:21 Speaker 1: So next week, rain Drops, we will see what happened when Kyle tells something what Jennifer Tilly said to her. Hey, producers, I'm teasy, and we will see. 00:51:37 Speaker 2: And confront Jennifer Tilly about it. 00:51:40 Speaker 3: Did you watch did you watch the trailer for next season next week? 00:51:43 Speaker 2: Yeah? 00:51:44 Speaker 3: Oh looks good. I don't know why I like Beverly. 00:51:47 Speaker 4: Hills so much because a lot of people are like, it's just too boring, and I'm just like, it is not boring to me. 00:51:52 Speaker 3: I am like, I love it. 00:51:55 Speaker 2: No, no, no, the thing is the thing? 00:51:58 Speaker 1: Is it just having those low burn But listen, we'll see what happens.
