Let's do one in Shannon's man cave for a change. So I did get the donuts you bought, especially from the place here in Mount Washington, Donut King, Shotnut Donut King. So I had my first real full donut. Yeah, it's the donut challenge. Yeah, kept it down.

You know, we got the games on at nights. When I'm just sitting here, all the neighbors just sort of congregate over here, and you know, some of them a little little halfway lit up. Drew just walking over here and just kind of stumble in and they've got their own tub right here. It's like a garage bar in the neighborhood.

Speaker 5: It is very inviting, it's very nice in here. You have an amazing bar. You mentioned you you've got that from a real bar in Lexington. Yeah, the Twist, The Twist at Cork. It's really nice.

Speaker 2: And Lexington was renovating their bar. They decided we want to get rid of this bar. They had it on Facebook Marketplace for like six hundred bucks. So how did you get it from Lexington to here? That's a big bar in the back of my jeep. No, I got a U haul, had to So this was a whole production this day, so it was first come, first serve. So my dilemma first of all was that's a really nice bar for a really nice price. But I'm gonna have to drive all the way from Mount Washington to Lexington and just hope the thing is there. So I tried to contact the sellers and say, hey, can you hang on to that. They're like, no, we can't really do that. So I just had to take a shot in the dark, take a chance, drive all the way to Lexington. Then when you get there. Of course you got to go get a U haul. So I'm like, I'm here, here's the money. You know, just hang on to it. Little did I know. When I was going from the twisted cork bar to get the U haul to rent, another guy tried to come in and buy that bar from underneath me. I try to undercut you. You can imagine how upset I would have been if I'd spent a couple of hundred bucks on a U haul and while I'm going to rent the U haul, some other guy the bar on. So luckily they were nice enough to actually hang on to the bar. We got it here. Took quite a few friends to bring this thing in. We had to pick it up and load it in here. I mean that is I think a thirteen foot long bar. It's big about here. It's big. Yeah, it looks awesome in here. It's perfect.

I heard that on the pre show. So you know, like in factories, a lot of times they'll put up on like a big board and it'll say like twenty days since our last incident. Yeah, we got to reset it at zero zero because Billy came in and immediately started rummaging through all of my personal belongings, including over here in the corner these golf clubs that haven't been touched in twenty years. There is a this is how old and outdated my golf clubs are. I've got a wooden club in there, a wooden drive, and Billy was just he looked like he had seen a dinosaur or something. He's like, oh my gosh, there's a hickory wooden club in your in your cake, in your bag. So as he's pulling out this golf club. Right above it is a metal Vanderbilt logo and it's a star logo and it's very very sharp, like you could you could stay, you could kill somebody with that that that could be a murder with it, like a big throwing star. So Vanderbilt logo is a big star and it's all made out of metal. And as he was pulling up that wooden club out of the golf bag. He stabs himself with the corner of that metal star and immediately starts bleeding all over my garage. So luckily we I was telling Billy earlier, I don't know how to start a tourniquet on somebody, but I felt like he was gonna bleed out here in front of us and our next door neighbor over here. Robert went over there and he got a bandage for Billy. So Billy has already bandaged up. I mean that was before the pre show even started today. So we're off to a little bit of a rough start. But if you guys will just, you know, stay where you're at, stay seated. I promise you you won't get injured here Ryan, I know, I.

But I'm telling you that is a big deal for Mount Washington because I grew up in Mount Washington and we had nothing here. And now this is basically turned into an extension of Louisville. Like it's it's just become overcrowded and they continue to add businesses and you got we've got a sports bar out here now like that that's big time for us because back then when I was growing up, we didn't have anything. We didn't even have the bypass, Like if you wanted to go from Lowell to Mount Washington, you had to take the old Bardstown Road to get there. And now we got this bypass, which is now you know, opened up traffic a little bit, but it is still though. We have way too many people in this city for what it can hold, Like it is too small of a town to have this many people.

Really enjoyed having those guys on, and I always love hearing Richie talk about his time at Kentucky and going to practice playing for Rick Patino. Yeah, and hearing those stories of how hard those Rick Patino practices are. I feel like drew a lot of what Mark Pope does is kind of what Rick Patino. You know, how he was as a coach when Pope played for Patino back in the day.

And when you get those two together telling the stories together, like when they were talking about their youth, I don't even know the stuff they're talking about. It's like, well, hung it up with a piece of seagrass, and you know, we're playing from a railroad tied. I'm like, I can't even picture what they're talking about, but I could listen to them tell those stories forever.

Speaker 2: So my dad actually brought this story up this morning because I didn't see it in the news, but apparently in South Africa just yesterday there was someone who was on a safari and got attacked by an elephant and held underwater by this elephant. She did survive. It was it was a female, But I just saw a person and an African safari and elephant attacking someone and I thought, oh my god, did we lose our boy Matt Jones to an elephant attack. I started reading into the details a little bit. Apparently this person got a little too close to the elephant calves called calves, and then I realized, well, Matt hates babies, so there's no way that maw will get close to or the water. That's that's true. So but I saw that, I was like, Oh my gosh, what what's going on in South Africa? You know, I worry about Matt. You said he was in a tent. Yeah, and I can't just envision our boy Matt can't either, even if it's glamping. I can't imagine Matt being in a tent. I agree.

Drew, do you think that if Kentucky has any chance on Saturday that they have to just grind it out and play that slow Mark Stoop's ball, or do you think that there's any chance that maybe they just let Cutter start slinging it around. I don't think that that's the case. It's just it's just a slow, grind it out type game. I think that's probably Kentucky's best chance. Yeah, and you know, I.

Speaker 5: Don't think they're gonna win. But of all teams that they've played well over, even even the last couple of years, and they haven't been winning SEC games. You beat or you lost to Georgia bout like one at home last year, three at home a couple of years before that. You have similar styles. They're just much better at it, much more talented. So I think Kentucky might be kind of in the game if you have turnovers like you did a week ago. Yeah, but I think for a little while they'll hang around. But I just I when you don't have a quarterback, and I don't think Calzada or Cutter have proven that they're quite ready yet, I just don't see how you can go down there and really have a chance at Georgia, especially Georgia coming off that loss. They're not gonna, you know, run up the score or anything. But there you're You're not gonna snook up on Georgia for sure. They're motivated to correct their their loss last week.

You know, Georgia has beaten Kentucky fifteen times in a row. Jeez, But like Drew said, last year was thirteen to ten. They only beat Kentucky about one point a Kroger Field. They because Kentucky and Georgia kind of played similar, you know, they like to we have that same offensive philosophy the Stoops and Kirby Smart both have. I think that it enables Kentucky at least to kind of keep it closer than most people think.

So if Kentucky has a top thirty raw talent team, what is the issue is it? Is it a coaching issue more so than the players or what do you think? Like, where's that hang up with this team?

I didn't think that Kentucky's offense even had the power, the firepower to be able to come back from that type of deficit. So I feel like, if Kentucky is going to end, they've got to keep these games twenty points or less. And it was like that last you're drew.

Speaker 5: That's what stinks the most. Even after those two turnovers, which are crazy, back to back defensive touchdowns that just doesn't happen. Yea, but even after that, it's only twenty one to ten in the first half. But as a Kentucky fan, twenty one to ten is it's over. Yeah, it's a good night. But I get this is football. It shouldn't be that a ten point lead is just insurmountable, but as at Kentucky, that seems to be the case.

When the line was so bad, tight Ends kind of just had to become offensive linemen and helped block last season. I also think you're in a unique spot where Catus is really good, but Willie Rodriguez is like, could be good, good good. I mean he's only a sophomore and we're seeing what he's doing already and what he does a freshman. So I think the and then you've got Boy and others right behind him. I think it's part that they've improved parts that they're at least so far haven't had to do as much blocking as they had of the pass you got boldly lives with the tight ends, so his eye probably goes their way a little bit more in Hamden working it in. So I think it's a combination of several factors. But you know, the Vince thing in Cold Britt probably weigh in that also. Yeah, I mean it's probably it's a combination of several things that were coming together for this.
