00:00:02
Speaker 1: Hey, everyone, Welcome back to Bachler Happy Hour.

00:00:03
Speaker 2: I'm Joe and I'm Serena, and we are.

00:00:05
Speaker 3: Here to recap the first ever episode of the Golden Bachelorette.

00:00:11
Speaker 4: A history making episode. We have Joan here, she's ready to find love and we are ready to tune back in and recap a first ever season of the Golden bauchlott Which is crazy.

00:00:24
Speaker 1: What'd you think coming off of We're coming directly off of the season of The Bachelorette.

00:00:29
Speaker 4: It was definitely interesting, an interesting contrast because last year we came off of Charity season of The Bachelorette and then went into Gary's season of the first ever Golden Bachelor. Yeah, this time coming off of jen season of the Bauchlrette with all of her vivacious cast of men, all the crazy personalities, to go into Joan season of the baucher Ratte. It's definitely a contrast of you know, like the twenty something thirty something guys to the sixty seventy year old guys.

00:01:02
Speaker 1: Do we think any of I mean a lot of these guys they look really good, they look great, they look great.

00:01:07
Speaker 4: I was not concerned about after watching Golden Bachelor I feel like they found so many beautiful golden women, but because it is still the first time, it's you know, fun to see a group of good looking older men.

00:01:21
Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, you mentioned though that we gents, guys, they fought a lot, a lot of a lot.

00:01:28
Speaker 2: Of drama, a lot of drama.

00:01:30
Speaker 1: Amongst the men. Do we think we could get that out of a group of older men.

00:01:37
Speaker 4: I think it's gonna be a lot harder. I think at any age drama is possible.

00:01:42
Speaker 2: Truly.

00:01:43
Speaker 4: I don't think you're ever too young or too old to have a little drama in Sue, but.

00:01:49
Speaker 1: We do see it even on any of any season of The Bachelorette. I do feel like the guys that are a little older are usually not in the drama. But that's just me saying that that also could not be true, that I could be wrong.

00:02:05
Speaker 4: I would say, I'm sure there's you know, exceptions to what you just said, but I would say, majority of the time, you're not totally wrong. Even with the women, I would say the people that are on the older side of the cast, you typically see less of them involved in the drama. That's not to say that they can't ever be Sometimes they are but I think as you age, you're going to see less and less drama. I think with the Golden Women, we did see a little drama, you know, there was the Kathy Teresa's Zippit scandal, but overall it was more about the friendships and the love. So I'm curious to see the dynamic with the Golden Men.

00:02:49
Speaker 1: I don't know if it's because I've been on reality TV a handful of times now, but if I was in my sixties and I have a chance to go back on reality TV, I'm going to be petty as fuck and very very immature.

00:03:05
Speaker 4: Yeah, none of these men are giving that quite yet, but it doesn't mean that it can't unfold later in the season. And as much as I do think the big message of the Golden Bach rat is a second chance or a first chance, but a chance at love for people in their golden years, I'm not against a little drama on the show. I think it keeps things exciting and fresh and interesting and shows people's personalities. So I'm open to the men being a little petty as the season goes on, but I don't know if we're going to get that. None of them are giving that yet.

00:03:38
Speaker 1: Yeah, so let's get into Gen's. We get another Joan Joan Oh Jesus and a Jen Jones Jen Jon, I get a Joan intro. We hear more of her story, which I feel like we kind of touched on it during gary season, but like seeing it is much more emotional and like you really kind of like go through her little life's journey with her, and you do really feel for her in the way her husband passed away and just when she's when she said, like he passed away and then she sat, you know, in the living room at the table before she told her kids like that was that was heavy?

00:04:22
Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I mean it's definitely a tone shift from the Bachelorette, not saying that people in their twenties and thirties haven't been through some really serious stuff, but just hearing about Joan talk about how she built this life with her husband, seeing these photos, how much they loved each other, and then him passing away and what that experience was, like, I mean, it's so emotional. It's just a different level of heavyness than anything we see on the regular season.

00:04:56
Speaker 1: Definitely, And then we get a little change of song, a little change of attitude and is ready to date, and she's very excited. I think she was. I think she was the right choice. I think these men are gonna go crazy for Joan. I think a lot of them are probably there for her in particular. And we get the first guy's intro who is Pascal, which was he was He's great? I said, right, well, I was like, this guy knows how to talk to women because he owns the salon.

00:05:26
Speaker 4: Yeah, and that's a great point too, because yeah, you see clips of him in the salon, like fixing women's hair, and yeah, he's going to be great at talking to women.

00:05:36
Speaker 1: Actually, I will say to correct us, we actually don't see Pascal's he's the first one out of the limo, but we don't see his intro till later on in the episode when he actually talks to Joan.

00:05:46
Speaker 4: Yeah, I see his intro package a little bit later, but he says he's a slan owner, He's French, and you know what, who, Oh my god. I'm Edith was the first one out of the limo on Gary season and she also had like this swave, like sexy energy. Yeah, and I feel like there's a parallel here with Pascal being the first edit limo for Jones's season.

00:06:14
Speaker 2: But I liked it. I liked his swag, I liked his energy.

00:06:16
Speaker 4: I thought it was good and I feel like we saw a lot of him this episode.

00:06:19
Speaker 1: He lives in Chicago. He's basically crazy to He's throwing it out there that he's he's got money. Yea, he's got money. He's got money and he's willing to spend it.

00:06:30
Speaker 2: Yeah he is, which honestly like important.

00:06:34
Speaker 4: I'm you know what.

00:06:35
Speaker 2: He's sixty something years old, so is Joan. Their kids are grown.

00:06:39
Speaker 4: He's saying, I want to drop everything in fly to Paris for three days, Like you can do that once you're I mean, he still is a business owner. But if he can do that and she can do that in their golden years, like why not.

00:06:52
Speaker 1: If I was Joan, I would be like, Okay, you said that, and that's that's that's lovely to my ears. But are you serious? And if he was like yeah, I'd be like, I fine, I'll go with you.

00:07:02
Speaker 2: I'll marry you.

00:07:04
Speaker 1: It was good enough for me, like this works, but also what else do I need?

00:07:07
Speaker 2: What else do I need?

00:07:09
Speaker 4: He's got the fancy car, he can style my hair, he can take me to Paris.

00:07:14
Speaker 2: It all sounds very fun.

00:07:15
Speaker 1: Yeah. Uh, Chalk is a guy that's standing out a little bit. I also think he really looks like Tim Robbins, the actor he I think. I think she's really gonna like him.

00:07:26
Speaker 2: Yeah, and I thought his intro was really cute. We didn't see.

00:07:30
Speaker 4: I would say there was a good mix of like gimmicky intros and just like coming out and talking. But he did choc a doodle soup, which was like a callback to Joan talking about her legendary chicken noodle soup on The Golden Bachelor.

00:07:44
Speaker 1: Oh I didn't catch so.

00:07:45
Speaker 4: Yeah, I thought that was nice that he like called back to something that she said on The Golden Bachelor, but also made it his own.

00:07:51
Speaker 2: And yeah, it was like.

00:07:52
Speaker 1: It was like a girl dad, which you love.

00:07:54
Speaker 2: They're all girl dads.

00:07:56
Speaker 1: You love that though, that he's.

00:07:57
Speaker 2: A girl dad.

00:07:57
Speaker 1: Yeah.

00:07:58
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just sweet. Nothing wrong with being a boy dad.

00:08:01
Speaker 3: Yeah, but every time every time there's a guy on with the girl dad, it's you have a different tone.

00:08:07
Speaker 2: Well, because I have a girl dad, I know that's why. Oh it's like it's my dad.

00:08:12
Speaker 1: Yeah.

00:08:13
Speaker 2: Okay.

00:08:14
Speaker 4: A few other standouts we have Jonathan Jonathan came out with a blindfold on, and he kind of made it a little moment.

00:08:25
Speaker 2: I think he was wearing a gold tie and a gold blindfold, which I liked.

00:08:29
Speaker 1: Jonathan like we should.

00:08:31
Speaker 2: Add more gold.

00:08:32
Speaker 4: I feel we should ad more gold to be honest to the show, Like I want the couches to be like, let's make this tackier.

00:08:39
Speaker 1: Jonathan's one of my guys that I picked. Right, I'm pretty sure.

00:08:44
Speaker 2: Yes, Jonathan is one of your guys. And I think I have chalk.

00:08:47
Speaker 1: Jonathan looks I do great.

00:08:50
Speaker 2: Oh my god, he looks amazing.

00:08:53
Speaker 1: Jonathan the man is not aging. I actually I was so interested in hearing what we would interview the women, like what they do to stay looking so wonderful. Yeah, I can't wait to talk to some of these guys.

00:09:09
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I'm curious to hear what their secrets are.

00:09:12
Speaker 1: Yeah, we have Oh Jack. Jack was a guy that Stadati came out. He's he's another Chicago, very heavy Chicago season.

00:09:20
Speaker 2: A lot of Chicago were there a lot of women from Chicago when we did Gold.

00:09:24
Speaker 1: There was a few, but I feel like there's more guys and I just I think I think the guys on this season that are from Chicago are kind of like bigger personalities. Jack comes out singing, It's funny because I was like, this guy's Chicago accent is heavy, and you're like, mine's heavier.

00:09:39
Speaker 4: Yeah, I just don't know, maybe just because I'm used to hearing you talk. And I also think, like your Chicago accent really comes out when you're like around your family and you're in Chicago.

00:09:50
Speaker 1: So but this guy, this guy should so I didn't. I never realized it. But this guy's from the South Side of Chicago, is where Kenny's from, and that's where Kenny's from, and they have the same type of accent where I don't think I think I have a different.

00:10:02
Speaker 4: They do sound different, just even the way they speak is slightly different than I would say.

00:10:07
Speaker 1: Like Emily. Yeah, but to all our listeners, I actually really want to know. So let me know who has a deeper Chicago accent? Me or Jack.

00:10:15
Speaker 4: Yeah, Okay, I would say your an accent and Jack's accent are stronger than Kenny's.

00:10:20
Speaker 1: And I will I will jump into I know you hate when I do this. But into the middle of the episode where Jack did some cooking, what that looked incredible, Like when he almost went home at the end because he got the last rows. I was like, you could not send this guy home.

00:10:36
Speaker 2: No, I would have been upset.

00:10:38
Speaker 1: Like this guy is cooking some serious meal.

00:10:41
Speaker 4: Singing, he's cooking, he's narrating the whole episode. He's got such a personality. He's definitely a standout. I really like him.

00:10:49
Speaker 1: I wonder where he's strong. I bet he's from. Like I'm like, oh, I'm gonna say he's from like Tinley Park area. So that's what I'm getting from from Jackie Boy. And then we have another guy that stood out to me is just being like a lovely just a sweet, wonderful man. Maybe this guy could be the nicest man on earth is Charles.

00:11:17
Speaker 2: L I loved him.

00:11:19
Speaker 4: He was so sweet and he just like had such good energy, you know what I mean. Like I'm excited if we eventually him on the podcast to meet him, because I just feel like he exuded a lot of just positive energy.

00:11:33
Speaker 1: He did it. I really liked him. But the so the one thing, Okay, so another and this guy's in my top four by the way, This guy, in my opinion was I don't want to say the only guy, but guy whose name is guy. He had just like a little more spunk to him, Like it was like you could you could feel the sexual chemistry between him and Joan. Yeah, don't you think?

00:12:05
Speaker 2: I agree?

00:12:05
Speaker 4: I think that guy, out of all of the men, maybe had the most like like sexy swaggering Pascal has like a sexy swaggered dam in a different way. Guy, I feel like, had like a sexual chemistry with Joan when they met, and there was like a.

00:12:24
Speaker 2: Bit of flirting there.

00:12:26
Speaker 1: It was like it was like the tempo he had, like the right.

00:12:29
Speaker 4: Temple and a little bit of you know, quick wit. I don't know, I'm curious to see how their relationship unfolds that. I do think the initial connection was really good me too, And I thought there was a bit of a spark there when they when he came out of the limo. Definitely a lot of confidence which always shines Night.

00:12:50
Speaker 1: One any other any other Limo entrances that you're like, Yeah.

00:12:55
Speaker 4: I mean, I don't think that we can move on Limo entrances without talking about Mark Kelsey's dad. And for those of you if you didn't watch, Kelsey is engaged to Joey, who was our last Bachelor. They are the most beautiful couple We've had the pleasure of interviewing both of them and meeting them in person.

00:13:19
Speaker 2: They're so freaking lovely.

00:13:22
Speaker 4: And Mark is Kelsey's dad, and he stole the hearts of America of the Bachelor Nation audience during Hometowns on Joey season, and I'm so happy to see him here. I think it's great that he's on the show searching for love. Kelsey talked a lot on Joey's season about the loss of her mom, Mark's late wife, and their love just sounded so amazing, so special, and I'm excited for him to potentially find love again here.

00:13:51
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a great intro to it to Mark. One thing I will say that I notice about Mark, and not to take anything away from the other guys, but and I don't know if it's just because he was on Joey's season for a little bit, but he comes across so sincere when he's speaking on camera, he does he comes across and you could really tell that he's just being himself and he has like this confident, calm energy where you're like, even if you're not into this guy, like you're keeping him around for your sanity because you're gonna be able to have a real conversation with this man, don't you think.

00:14:43
Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree. I'm hmmm, I'm not sure.

00:14:48
Speaker 4: Yet if I see the connection between him and Jown, but it's also night one.

00:14:54
Speaker 2: Yeah, either way, I agree with you.

00:14:56
Speaker 4: I think he's gonna go far because he just seems like someone like, let's say he's not the love of Joan's life either way, he just seems like such a genuine person and someone that if I'm Joan.

00:15:08
Speaker 2: I just want to be around.

00:15:10
Speaker 4: Yeah, Like I get a very like comforting, kind warm vibe from him.

00:15:15
Speaker 1: Yeah, he could go to the end just off of that. But he's I mean, he's also a very handsome guy, very very handsome.

00:15:23
Speaker 2: I'm curious.

00:15:23
Speaker 4: I think there's a wide range of personalities in this group of men, and I'm curious to see what Jones type is, because she is very bubbly and upbeat, and I'm curious if she leans more towards or away from men that have similar personalities to her.

00:15:42
Speaker 1: Well, she had a one on one conversation with Dan, and I remember I watched that conversation and could sense that Joan was really into him.

00:15:56
Speaker 2: Yeah, his Limital.

00:15:57
Speaker 1: I don't. I don't really remember his limit entrance, but I do remember him, and he seems like a really like just a sweet, nice guy. But he's giving me a little bit of Jones type.

00:16:10
Speaker 4: Okay, interesting, yeah, which he's kind of opposite of Who got the first Impression Rose? For those listening, Dan is the one who talked about his adopted daughter, and then Keith is her first impression Rose recipient who we will talk about more out of the conversations aside from Keith, who we can talk about in a minute. Who stood out to you on conversations, Yeah, conversations in the mansion with John, Like we're past Lemo entrances or just second impressions.

00:16:41
Speaker 1: I mean it's good, it's I mean, it's gotta be Keith. He got the first impression Rose. I hate doing it because it's like, well, obviously.

00:16:49
Speaker 4: Well no, But I think there's sometimes where the first Impression Rose recipient it's either like hard to predict who it's going to be because there's a lot of good chats, or they made up with a bunch of people. But I think Keith was the obvious standout.

00:17:03
Speaker 1: Like there was one there was one other guy that for a kiss.

00:17:08
Speaker 4: Jonathan because I remember, No, he didn't almost go in for a kiss, but I said when they he read her the poem and I was like, kiss him, kiss him, like this is such a cute moment for him to get a kiss.

00:17:19
Speaker 1: Why don't I really remember?

00:17:21
Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, but I just remember when her and Keith were playing. They were doing the bean bag toss and they were talking about the beach and just playing a fun game together. I was like, I really think that he's going to get the first Impression Rose. I think that they have a very natural connection and he's very confident and it just seems fun and easy, which I think is how it should feel. But yes, if I were to pick a runner up for the first Impression Rows, I would go with Jonathan because I do think that they almost kissed.

00:17:56
Speaker 1: What do you think about Jordan, Jordan, I've definitely seen this out in Chicago.

00:18:01
Speaker 2: Yeah, you keep saying that about he.

00:18:04
Speaker 1: So he you would tell he was in his head that he screwed up his his intro, which watching it back, it was seemed fine. And when he brought that up to Jones, She's like, no, like your intro was fine, Like, yeah, you were good. I think I could see him going far.

00:18:22
Speaker 4: I like him, and they did a little pickleball moment which I thought was cute. I think he's very handsome. We saw quite a bit of him in this first episode.

00:18:31
Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought there was a chance he was going home. Really because how much, well because how much we saw of him.

00:18:38
Speaker 2: You thought that maybe it was like, oh, yeah.

00:18:42
Speaker 1: We were, we were. It was almost like giving a little bit of like ma at it to be honest, where I was like, we're getting this guy. He's somewhat insecure about how he's coming off on this show, but you like him, and then he goes home.

00:18:55
Speaker 4: You thought maybe like the nerves were gonna cut Jordan quick.

00:19:00
Speaker 1: Yeah that's what I thought. And yeah, we do have that whole scene where they're all playing pickleball. I think pickleball is just going to be part of Golden.

00:19:09
Speaker 4: Golden Bachelor, Yeah, until another sport takes over. But for now, I feel like pickleball and Golden Bachelor, it's like word association, like they just go together.

00:19:18
Speaker 1: I don't know how the show hasn't brand it like Golden paddle Ball Rackets, like like Brandos show starts selling March.

00:19:28
Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, there's a lot of things that I think people want, yeah, which I agree, like golden pickleball rack.

00:19:35
Speaker 1: Yeah, like call me in, let me, let me, let me help you with some ideas. You don't even what would be cool about the golden PICKLEBA. It doesn't have to say like Bachelor massive on it, Like you could just do a little little GB Yeah, just.

00:19:46
Speaker 2: Like I'm on the ball insignia.

00:19:49
Speaker 1: Everyone's going to see when it's that golden racket, Like that's a golden Bachelor att racket.

00:19:56
Speaker 2: I like it. I like that idea.

00:19:58
Speaker 1: Thank you.

00:20:06
Speaker 4: Okay, So Keith gets the first impression rows not a huge shock by any means. I would say he was the one I called to get it. As much as she had some good some good chats across the board, I.

00:20:22
Speaker 2: Would have.

00:20:24
Speaker 4: Been curious to know more about how the men were doing overall throughout the evening. I feel like we saw a lot of chats about them being dads.

00:20:35
Speaker 1: Like some sad stories, you know who. We do see a lot of Is and I feel like we see how he's kind of doing throughout the night is Gary.

00:20:43
Speaker 4: I do really like Gary. But we didn't see we didn't see a ton of.

00:20:47
Speaker 1: His time with Joe, but we see a lot of him. We see a lot of his interviews, we see him get emotional when his daughter and his grandkid we're on the screen because that segment, that was.

00:21:00
Speaker 2: Yeah, what did you think of that?

00:21:01
Speaker 4: So Joe pulls out a TV, which, honestly, my dumbass was like, Oh my god, they're gonna let the men watch sports all season?

00:21:10
Speaker 2: Are you kidding me?

00:21:11
Speaker 1: I thought, yeah.

00:21:12
Speaker 4: I was like, they're gonna let them watch live television. They're gonna have Netflix, Like, what is going on?

00:21:18
Speaker 1: No way?

00:21:20
Speaker 4: I was That's literally what I thought. I was like, what a gift? Like that is a really nice gift from Jones.

00:21:25
Speaker 1: I thought it was nice. I think I think it's always an easier, quicker way to get to know someone by hearing like a family member of friends speak about them, because then you can kind of start putting all the pieces together.

00:21:38
Speaker 2: Yeah.

00:21:38
Speaker 4: I also think with the Golden Bachelor women, they were so great about being like I'm sixty five and I'm sexy and I'm amazing, and like hyping themselves up in the best way.

00:21:54
Speaker 3: Yeah.

00:21:54
Speaker 4: And I think it's harder, or it appears to be harder for these golden men to like really hype themselves up and sell themselves.

00:22:03
Speaker 3: Yeah.

00:22:03
Speaker 2: So I think it's.

00:22:04
Speaker 4: Nice that they brought in their families, their kids, their loved ones to say like, hey, he's amazing. And he might not be telling you that, but I'm going to tell you that.

00:22:15
Speaker 1: That's interesting because older women are their own hype person, and older men need a hype man.

00:22:23
Speaker 2: They needed a bit of a hype man.

00:22:24
Speaker 4: Yeah, And I think, you know, it's great to learn about someone through the people in their lives. And they were able to be vulnerable and get emotional and you could see how touch they were, you know, having the support of their loved ones through this journey. So I thought it was a really nice moment and just to kind of see it was like cool to see like the kids and then the parents and be like, oh yeah, like they look alike. You're like, that's what their dynamic is like, and that's the kind of you know, father, brother whatever. I mean, it was mostly kids, but I'm sure you know, if there was a mix in there our grandfather pop pop they were.

00:23:03
Speaker 1: Did you put into any consideration watching this episode where any of these men live, because I'm pretty sure Keith, who gets the first impression Rose lives in San Jose.

00:23:17
Speaker 2: Remind me where Joan lives again, I always forget.

00:23:19
Speaker 1: This Maryland, so that opposite sides of the country, different time zones, which we know how difficult that could be. So I do wonder how much of a factor that is going to play when we get down to the end.

00:23:36
Speaker 2: Yeah.

00:23:37
Speaker 4: We did ask Joan about that, and she gave not a vague answer, but she seemed open. I think it is a question on everyone's mind because Gary and Treesa lived in different places and that was obviously a challenge for them, and an understandable one. Like when you're sixty five and you've got kids and grand kids and parents you're taken care of, it's not as easy to uproot your life and be like I'm gonna throw it all away for love, like I did, you know what I mean.

00:24:09
Speaker 1: That's why I think it has to be a part of her decision.

00:24:14
Speaker 4: It has to be, Yeah, and I think I think at this point she's probably not considering it as heavily as she will down the line when things get a little bit more serious. I think right now, if my advice to her would be, you know, just lean into who you like, and then, you know, as things get a little more serious, start really thinking about the factors of how you're gonna make it work with one of these guys.

00:24:37
Speaker 1: Okay, we always make our predictions when we get the face sheet on who do we think is going to be the final four? But it's obviously before we see these guys night one and actually how they interact with Joan. So we're gonna re choose two people because force too much. Let's just do two.

00:24:57
Speaker 2: Yeah, well, we can't add four, we're gonna have.

00:25:00
Speaker 1: Well, what I'm saying is, let's disregard who we picked.

00:25:04
Speaker 2: What you want to scrap our predictions?

00:25:06
Speaker 1: Yeah, because now because it is actually because watching this, I'm like, oh this actually makes a It's it just it just makes so much, uh bigger of a difference.

00:25:16
Speaker 2: Such a waste. We already made our predictions.

00:25:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's fine, we still made those predictions. But let's make now two predictions off of watching the show.

00:25:24
Speaker 2: Okay, to add on to our current predictions.

00:25:28
Speaker 1: Okay, so what we're gonna do is we each get to add one person to our final four.

00:25:34
Speaker 4: Yes, I will read you guys the prediction so you can hear and Casey missed her episode, but Joe's predictions strictly off of headshots and bios were Guy Jonathan Jordan and Thomas Thomas sadly got sent home tonight. So you're down to three, so you'll add more and you'll be at four people. My predictions were Charles K. Chalk Ken and Mark Ken Sadly sent home tonight. So I met three, I'll pick one person. We'll both be at four. So it kind of all works out.

00:26:05
Speaker 1: Yeah, and I'm happy with the guys that I have in there.

00:26:07
Speaker 2: You do have some pretty good pigs.

00:26:09
Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, So who would you choose?

00:26:12
Speaker 2: Do I get to go first?

00:26:14
Speaker 1: Yeah, we could choose the same one for this if.

00:26:16
Speaker 4: We we have to different Let's do rock paper scissors, and whoever wins gets to pick first.

00:26:21
Speaker 1: Can I choose someone that you have already?

00:26:23
Speaker 4: No, it can't be someone that's already on a roster. It has to be someone.

00:26:26
Speaker 2: I'm picked that's bullshit?

00:26:28
Speaker 4: Okay, ready, rock paper scissor shoot rock paper sis or shoot nice?

00:26:34
Speaker 2: Okay, I won, Okay, I am going to add Damn.

00:26:40
Speaker 4: I actually didn't have someone in mind yet when I won that. Do you want to know who I'm like, between, sure, Okay, I'm right now. I've got my eyes on Michael, I've got my eyes on Kim. I've got my eyes on Dan. But I am gonna go with Keith.

00:27:05
Speaker 1: Yeah, so your eyes born on Keith, that all of a sudden you pick you Keith too.

00:27:09
Speaker 2: I'm picking Keith Keith.

00:27:12
Speaker 4: It might be kind of like a safe choice, though, is what I'm worried about, because your first impressions.

00:27:17
Speaker 1: We have Mark, right, you have Mark, I have Mark, and you also have Chalk.

00:27:21
Speaker 4: Right, I have Chalk, and you know who's your other guy I have? I have Charles k Chalk and Mark and now Keith.

00:27:33
Speaker 1: God damn it, sir, enough, I'm gonna chew.

00:27:36
Speaker 2: There's a lot of great guys that you could pick from, Yeah, but.

00:27:40
Speaker 1: I feel like we got them. I'm gonna go with Dan.

00:27:43
Speaker 2: You're gonna go Dan, Dan? Alrightyna go Dan. There we go.

00:27:48
Speaker 4: Now we're both back up to four people from our predictions.

00:27:53
Speaker 1: That is a recap of the first episode. Before we go. We did get a teaser for the whole which we saw the Chalk is just here for the cannon balls.

00:28:06
Speaker 2: It was guy.

00:28:07
Speaker 1: No Chuck, it was Jack is just here for the cannonballs, which is Jack is just here for the zipline.

00:28:12
Speaker 2: Wait, who's the comedian that did Tim.

00:28:14
Speaker 1: Robbins or Tim Robinson? Yeah, Tim Robinson.

00:28:18
Speaker 4: Okay, for those of you listening, if you haven't seen it, go search up Tim Robinson.

00:28:24
Speaker 2: He's just here for the zipline. It's so funny.

00:28:27
Speaker 4: It's a comedy sketch about this guy that's on The Bachelor that's just there for.

00:28:33
Speaker 2: The zip line.

00:28:35
Speaker 4: And they did like a little nod to it, intentionally or unintentionally, I don't know where. They basically said, Jack is just here for the cannonballs, and honestly, that was one of the funniest moments of the episode.

00:28:45
Speaker 2: I actually got so excited. I called Joe.

00:28:47
Speaker 4: I was like, I'm replaying. This is so funny because we love that sketch.

00:28:51
Speaker 1: Yeah, so funny. Okay, and then make sure you tune in because coming soon we are going to have the first Impression Roles recipient himself, Alf Keith on the podcast, so you won't want to miss that. Thank you for tuning in to a Bachelor Happy.
