<v Speaker 1>Chuck had an encounter years ago off of Highway eleven
<v Speaker 1>in South Carolina, and still to this day he wonders
<v Speaker 1>about this encounter and what it possibly could have been.
<v Speaker 1>Chuck was approached by several creatures one night on surprivate
<v Speaker 1>property and he knows without a doubt it was not
<v Speaker 1>human or any known animal in the area. David polit
<v Speaker 1>has covered a story about a missing person named Jason
<v Speaker 1>Knapp that went missing at Table Rock State Park in
<v Speaker 1>nineteen ninety eight and he was never seen again. This
<v Speaker 1>is a vast area with a lot of forest. Chuck
<v Speaker 1>wanted to meet at Joecassie Lake because he believes this
<v Speaker 1>could be an area where the cryptids are living at
<v Speaker 1>Chuck found some bigfoot structures years ago and we're going
<v Speaker 1>back to see if we can possibly find more clues.
<v Speaker 1>There have been a lot of past bigfoot reports that
<v Speaker 1>have come out of the Carolinas, Tennessee, Georgia, and even
<v Speaker 1>down in Florida. I can certainly see why Chuck believes
<v Speaker 1>the sasquatch would be hanging out in this area, as
<v Speaker 1>there is a lot of food, water and cover. The
<v Speaker 1>lake is stocked with trout, and there's a lot of
<v Speaker 1>species of fish within its waters, and there is also
<v Speaker 1>a nuclear power plant on the lake. If you believe

<v Speaker 1>me about your first experience, your first encounter that you had,
<v Speaker 1>and give me as much detail as possible. What were
<v Speaker 1>you doing that day? Where were you at?
<v Speaker 2>Okay, look me down soever place. We never had a
<v Speaker 2>hundred that I it was a hangout, but it's old
<v Speaker 2>gravel road. It just goes into uh a, uh goes
<v Speaker 2>into the runs down to the river. And had a
<v Speaker 2>fire pet now and we turned coon dogs looset right
<v Speaker 2>there that night and they struck and they probably went
<v Speaker 2>a couple of miles up the river and uh across
<v Speaker 2>the river. Well, you can't get across the river, so
<v Speaker 2>we ended up way back there where they were. The
<v Speaker 2>man I was with, right, he said he was gonna
<v Speaker 2>go back get the jeep and for me to stay
<v Speaker 2>there when the dogs came back. And so I mean
<v Speaker 2>they didn't. I didn't think nothing about it. I s
<v Speaker 2>woods at night didn't bother me back then. And where
<v Speaker 2>we were at was an old as an old man
<v Speaker 2>had a barn and a old road with a gate
<v Speaker 2>that come in from a paved road to come back
<v Speaker 2>to the river. And he had a fence or he
<v Speaker 2>had some pat It run all the way to the swamp,
<v Speaker 2>and he had the river and down one side, and
<v Speaker 2>he uh had some cows in there, and there was
<v Speaker 2>an old fence running along with old l like old
<v Speaker 2>grew up rood. He had it come back in there.
<v Speaker 2>So I was standing there at the fence line. And
<v Speaker 2>it probably wasn't twenty minutes right, it got gone and
<v Speaker 2>he uh, I heard something make a noise. It was like,
<v Speaker 2>and I can't I've tr tried, like I told you earlier,
<v Speaker 2>I can't mimic it. It sounds almost like something deep from
<v Speaker 2>your throat. It's a sort of sound, but it wasn't
<v Speaker 2>a snort. It was more like a almost like HARKing sound,
<v Speaker 2>and I had If you ever seen the old flashlights,
<v Speaker 2>I had screw the limbs off and dropped the big
<v Speaker 2>square battery in. It's got the springs on the ends
<v Speaker 2>of it. Six bolt battery, that's what I had, and
<v Speaker 2>it puts out a wide beam, but it don't put
<v Speaker 2>out a bright and tense bean. Plus it's about hype dead.
<v Speaker 2>So I shine a lot of and I could see
<v Speaker 2>I shine. And it wasn't forty sixty foot at the
<v Speaker 2>most standing in front of me. I mean, I growed
<v Speaker 2>up cap pasture about wasn't no monsters s you know.
<v Speaker 2>It was about six foot m a little more eye
<v Speaker 2>leveled with me, but it was upright and I could
<v Speaker 2>make out just a dark silveruette. I couldn't make out nothing,
<v Speaker 2>but I could see the mm perfect golden amber eyes.
<v Speaker 2>They were a goldish yellowish gold colored. And still wasn't spooked.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't know what it was at first, and then
<v Speaker 2>still don't didn't know what it was, but I, you know,
<v Speaker 2>kept a lot on it. It kept making that noise, and
<v Speaker 2>it would show me its teeth. And the reason I
<v Speaker 2>know is all I could see was eyes. But then
<v Speaker 2>when it was show its teeth. I could see the
<v Speaker 2>white just perfect, and so I I I'm gonna say
<v Speaker 2>it went on five or six minutes, and a few minutes,
<v Speaker 2>all of a sudden there was that sound again, about
<v Speaker 2>forty foot to that one's it would be that one's
<v Speaker 2>litt left my right, and there was another one standing
<v Speaker 2>over there, the same yellow eyes, making the same noise
<v Speaker 2>about the same heights, and my eyes getting pretty shook
<v Speaker 2>up by them, my legs turning the rubber and eyes.
<v Speaker 2>You know, I had a single shot twenty two rifle,
<v Speaker 2>and you know, I was a freshman in high school,
<v Speaker 2>and I didn't know what to do. So finally when
<v Speaker 2>the dogs came back, and they just didn't They didn't
<v Speaker 2>act like king dogs. They just they sit down beside me.
<v Speaker 2>They didn't want no part of whatever it was. They
<v Speaker 2>didn't act, they just didn't do nothing. That's what was weird.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't even have to put the leaves back on.
<v Speaker 2>They just they wrapped aside me. And so I got
<v Speaker 2>the bright idea I was gonna shoot it. So I shot,
<v Speaker 2>you know, I mean you could hear the twenty two
<v Speaker 2>smack it, and its eyes went out for a second,
<v Speaker 2>and then they come on here someone was like you
<v Speaker 2>could see hate in its eyes when it and it
<v Speaker 2>let out the office street then, but it still didn't
<v Speaker 2>approach me. It didn't move, and uh, by then I
<v Speaker 2>was hyperventilating, I'd say. But there was a little old
<v Speaker 2>holly tree. I life about it today because it wasn't
<v Speaker 2>six foot off the ground. But for some reason I
<v Speaker 2>thought that was gonna be safety. And I climbed up
<v Speaker 2>a holly tree and got scratched out of pieces just
<v Speaker 2>to get off the ground. And uh it, I I
<v Speaker 2>lost time because I'm gonna say it went on fifteen minutes.
<v Speaker 2>You you gotta remember this went on. It's forty eight,
<v Speaker 2>forty nine years ago, so a few you know, all
<v Speaker 2>of a sudden. I didn't hear them run off, but
<v Speaker 2>I heard them when they hit the water in the swamp,
<v Speaker 2>and I heard, you know, the sloshing, And then I
<v Speaker 2>realized I could see the trees lighting up, that that
<v Speaker 2>it was very coming down through there with the jeep.
<v Speaker 2>Couldn't see it's headlights, but I could see that, you know,
<v Speaker 2>the trees lighting up, coming way on up the old
<v Speaker 2>rowed up road, and and uh when they got to
<v Speaker 2>the other side of the swamp, which didn't take him
<v Speaker 2>along at all. They probably went three or four hundred
<v Speaker 2>yards in just a few seconds. And uh, they let
<v Speaker 2>out the office scream and I fr it sounded just
<v Speaker 2>like a woman being murdered or something, I mean terrified,
<v Speaker 2>but it was so amplified it just echoed. And uh,
<v Speaker 2>I Ray pulled up and I he didn't. I about
<v Speaker 2>hugged his head, broke his neck because I was so
<v Speaker 2>glad to see him. And you know, same old thing
<v Speaker 2>all you've seen one of 'em. Mister Wats's name is Cows.
<v Speaker 2>I don't remember man's name, but are you seen a deer?
<v Speaker 2>You know I heard everything. I said, no, no, no, no, no,
<v Speaker 2>ain't no dealer, mat the cow don't run through the
<v Speaker 2>swamp that fast. And uh, but you know it, the
<v Speaker 2>R word got around at school next day cause it
<v Speaker 2>was on school night. Ye you know, somebody come up
<v Speaker 2>with the name Wayne Doodle cause we didn't know nothing.
<v Speaker 2>Nobody ever thought. I didn't even think about Bigfoot or
<v Speaker 2>no other cryptid at the time. I just know I've
<v Speaker 2>seen something. It didn't make no sense, and uh, you
<v Speaker 2>know it was that's pretty much it. I mean, I
<v Speaker 2>wouldn't I don't remember being scared to go back in
<v Speaker 2>the woods. I kind of got over it, I guess
<v Speaker 2>because I didn't know what it was, you know. But
<v Speaker 2>now that I see things and hear other people's encounters,
<v Speaker 2>now I'm pretty sure I know what I was dealing
<v Speaker 2>with that night. And uh, I've had other things happen.
<v Speaker 2>I mean I've I've n I've lived a deer, hunt
<v Speaker 2>and fish all my life, and I've been several times
<v Speaker 2>I've had things walk, you know, coming out of the
<v Speaker 2>woods after dark at night. I've had things walk beside me.
<v Speaker 2>You know, I could hear 'em, but I couldn't see 'em.
<v Speaker 2>And I had, uh one s time I was hunting
<v Speaker 2>and it just as was getting daylight, and I could
<v Speaker 2>hear something walking under my tree stand, but I couldn't.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I it was just like if you walked
<v Speaker 2>under me, I could hear your footsteps and everything, but
<v Speaker 2>that was I couldn't see it. I mean, I about
<v Speaker 2>fell out of the tree bend and I were trying
<v Speaker 2>to see what was walking on up under my tree stand.
<v Speaker 2>Never did see it.
<v Speaker 1>So it sounded by a pedal.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, definitely. I thought it was a hunter or
<v Speaker 2>another hunter or somebody you know I was. I was
<v Speaker 2>already getting mad. I said, oh, here they come right it,
<v Speaker 2>you know, right at daylight, and uh, never did see 'em.
<v Speaker 2>And then there was another time when I heard the owl,
<v Speaker 2>the barred owl sound. I don't know there's the board
<v Speaker 2>out cause it I've never heard a board out this allowed.
<v Speaker 2>It sounded like something at a rock concert. It was
<v Speaker 2>so amplified, but it was trying to sound like a
<v Speaker 2>bared our and it was you know, that was one
<v Speaker 2>evening right for it, right at dust dark, and uh
<v Speaker 2>it's been they I've been several times that I can
<v Speaker 2>recall being paralleled in that one area that I hunted.
<v Speaker 2>That I would come out of my tree in the
<v Speaker 2>evening after dark and I n you if something walking
<v Speaker 2>just out of sight and if I'd stop, it would stop.
<v Speaker 2>I mean I had that happen more than tw more
<v Speaker 2>than twice. I'd say I've been My hunting partner would
<v Speaker 2>be back at the truck cause we rode four whetherers in.
<v Speaker 2>You know, he'd getting concerned because I'd be so late.
<v Speaker 2>Yet now I said, man, whatever that was was there
<v Speaker 2>again this week, you know, following me out of the woods.
<v Speaker 2>I said, I don't know what it is. I thought,
<v Speaker 2>you know, maybe it's hogs, but I you know, I
<v Speaker 2>knew better, I knew something like that. They don't follow
<v Speaker 2>you out of the woods anything. They going the other way.
<v Speaker 2>And uh, but that night on the swamp ko Huard,
<v Speaker 2>that was troublesh That was one night I about lost it.
<v Speaker 2>I mean that was especially when the second one, you know,
<v Speaker 2>made that noise and I seen I had two of
<v Speaker 2>'em standing in front of me, but luckily they did
<v Speaker 2>not you know, even after I put a twenty two
<v Speaker 2>bullet in one of 'em, it didn't. And I mean
<v Speaker 2>I hit it. You could hear, you know how you
<v Speaker 2>can hear twenty two smack and hear the shot. I
<v Speaker 2>mean I heard it playing wasn't if I'd missed. It
<v Speaker 2>all hard to miss cause I was almost touched it
<v Speaker 2>with a burrow of the gun. But uh it all
<v Speaker 2>that dones made it mad. You could tell by the
<v Speaker 2>way it's you know it that's it kept making the
<v Speaker 2>same noise. But when after I shot it it it
<v Speaker 2>made it in a different way. I can't explain, but
<v Speaker 2>it was like, how dare you you know? And uh,
<v Speaker 2>that's when I went up the tree. I think if
<v Speaker 2>I remember, right, like I say, forty nine years, I'm
<v Speaker 2>trying to get all the facts right, and I don't wanna,
<v Speaker 2>I want it to be accurate, but yeah, I'll dig.
<v Speaker 1>Were these creatures I'd.
<v Speaker 2>Save six They were, you know, standing out in front
<v Speaker 2>of 'em. They were pretty much out of level and
<v Speaker 2>it was a flat pasture. They were about, you know
<v Speaker 2>when it were from five and a haike to six
<v Speaker 2>foot top. Yeah, and they could have been taller if
<v Speaker 2>it's a little downhill. But what I think it might
<v Speaker 2>have been two juveniles or something. Uh thought they were
<v Speaker 2>gonna have some fun.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, and their eyes illuminated whenever your flashlight had'm.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, yeah, I just didn't have enough bright enough
<v Speaker 2>lot to illuminate them where I could make out one
<v Speaker 2>hundred percent. I could just illuminate the eyes. And I know,
<v Speaker 2>you know, we've seen deer all the time you go
<v Speaker 2>on coon hunting and everything. You know, they're known for
<v Speaker 2>green eyes, blue blueish green eyes, and this these had
<v Speaker 2>yellow gold eyes. I mean almost like amber and a
<v Speaker 2>fire not you know, not a orange, but when it
<v Speaker 2>gets real dull yellow looking, that's what they look like.
<v Speaker 1>And uh, you said you could see their teeth.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, ye. I mean I'd see it go away,
<v Speaker 2>and then I'd see the white and I'd see it
<v Speaker 2>go away, and I see the way I he was
<v Speaker 2>showing 'em to me, and l I I best way
<v Speaker 2>I could. I always uh explained it was a uh
<v Speaker 2>a movie star smile, like he was just show me
<v Speaker 2>a big old white teeth. I couldn't tell if they
<v Speaker 2>were pointed square. I could just see why it go away,
<v Speaker 2>and then I see why it come back. White, go away,
<v Speaker 2>white come back right under his eyes.
<v Speaker 1>And but.
<v Speaker 2>The only time I can ever think, I've been scared
<v Speaker 2>the woods at night, and that scared me. It terrified me.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. What did the scream sound like after you shot him?
<v Speaker 2>It was the same act sound, but it was more
<v Speaker 2>a lot more I guess pissed off for lack of words,
<v Speaker 2>better words.
<v Speaker 1>Like a gurgling son.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, almost like HARKing up a loogie. I mean, you
<v Speaker 2>know that's that's the best I can explain it. And
<v Speaker 2>the other one made the same sound. It's more like
<v Speaker 2>a arm, but it would I don't even think that's close.
<v Speaker 2>I've tried to make it and I can't.
<v Speaker 1>It's something really unique.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it was different. Yeah, and Uh, I've never heard
<v Speaker 2>anybody say, I, you know, watching all the other Bigfoot
<v Speaker 2>shows and the other encounters, I've never heard nobody talk
<v Speaker 2>about that one sound that I heard. But I when
<v Speaker 2>they got on the other side of that scream, I
<v Speaker 2>have heard about other people about that, and that's the
<v Speaker 2>one I, you know, I'll never forget. And I was
<v Speaker 2>s you know, if that had to happen and Ray
<v Speaker 2>hadn't I've been coming down the road, I don't know
<v Speaker 2>what I'd do, cause when they let that scream out,
<v Speaker 2>the you know, the headlights were coming. So if it
<v Speaker 2>had happened before and it was just me and them,
<v Speaker 2>it would have been I'd probably had a come apart.
<v Speaker 1>How far out in the woods were you?
<v Speaker 2>Oh? I was probably ain't a little two lane paved
<v Speaker 2>road that comes in there off of Uh. I was
<v Speaker 2>probably three quarters of a mile off of that back
<v Speaker 2>in there.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>And then you've got the river running down this side,
<v Speaker 2>and then there's a lake swamp. I mean that's it's
<v Speaker 2>one like frog Gig and a lot of people frog Gig,
<v Speaker 2>you know, and there's a it's a lake after lake
<v Speaker 2>back through them woods and it's just the backs of
<v Speaker 2>'em just swamp, and you know, I heard 'em when
<v Speaker 2>they hid it and when they you know it at night.
<v Speaker 2>I was looking across that ridge and I could see
<v Speaker 2>the tree line and the you know, the skyline, and
<v Speaker 2>it just that scream and it there cooing across the
<v Speaker 2>truck of that skyline. It was.
<v Speaker 1>It was super super super eerie, and uh yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>can only imagine.
<v Speaker 2>Oh it it was uh, you know a lot. If
<v Speaker 2>I known what it was, I mighta stayed out of
<v Speaker 2>the woods for a long time. But I'm lucky. I
<v Speaker 2>didn't know. You know, we didn't have what we have nowadays,
<v Speaker 2>so I didn't know what it was. I heard everything
<v Speaker 2>from old that old man seen panthers down there and
<v Speaker 2>all this. You hear that, But this wasn't no panther.
<v Speaker 2>It's there's too tall, too upright. And I remember when
<v Speaker 2>it hit the swamp it sounded even by it didn't sound.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I hear coon dogs slushing three water all
<v Speaker 2>the time. I know what four legs sounds like versus two,
<v Speaker 2>And uh this one I heard it. I didn't hear
<v Speaker 2>this one run off. In fact, I don't remember checking
<v Speaker 2>to see if it did go off, but I know
<v Speaker 2>I heard one hit the form.
<v Speaker 1>And the coon dog's racking different.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, I mean usually a king dog you gotta put
<v Speaker 2>him on a leader. He's going back, especially with the
<v Speaker 2>river and lake right there. These w I mean, these
<v Speaker 2>ain't no slaps king dogs. They come back real s,
<v Speaker 2>you know, just quite you know how much with her
<v Speaker 2>tail between their legs. It's like, hey, we won't hang
<v Speaker 2>out here with you, and they you The oldest dog
<v Speaker 2>sh which she was about three grant, three thousand dollars dogs,
<v Speaker 2>she sit down right against my leg and just sit there.
<v Speaker 2>I need. I don't even think I ever put a
<v Speaker 2>lead on cause I didn't wanna take my eyes off
<v Speaker 2>of these things to fill with the dogs. Yeah, and
<v Speaker 2>luckily the one young dog come and he stayed. Because
<v Speaker 2>they stayed, I guess. But usually they going back hunting
<v Speaker 2>with all that water around it, so they's gonna be
<v Speaker 2>coons somewhere. They don't. They don't, you know, they don't
<v Speaker 2>quit and uh but that night they just they sit
<v Speaker 2>right there. M They didn't whine, they didn't act scared,
<v Speaker 2>but they just didn't. They didn't go anywhere. And that's
<v Speaker 2>the strange part. And uh, I've had 'em do that
<v Speaker 2>with coyotes before it went pack a c if a
<v Speaker 2>big pack of coyotes out number. I've had 'em come
<v Speaker 2>back to the truck not wanna hunt. But that's the
<v Speaker 2>only time I've seen 'em do something like that.
<v Speaker 1>Mkay. What else can you think of any other strange
<v Speaker 1>experiences that you've had out in the.
<v Speaker 2>Woods other than LT I mean, I was talking about
<v Speaker 2>I've been sitting in the tree about I used to
<v Speaker 2>get in the woods. All were bad about getting in
<v Speaker 2>way too early, and I sitting there and had, uh
<v Speaker 2>just all of a sudden, the woods turned down a lot,
<v Speaker 2>just for a second, almost like a camera flash, and
<v Speaker 2>uh and go back. There only be not thirty minutes
<v Speaker 2>to every cracking daylight, but I've had it just the
<v Speaker 2>woods light up for no reason. But mostly the the
<v Speaker 2>footsteps were nothing to go with. It was the most
<v Speaker 2>weirdest thing because I heard I was fixing start screaming
<v Speaker 2>at a hunter for coming through the woods right at
<v Speaker 2>daylight walking, but there wasn't nobody there.
<v Speaker 1>Whenever I was in Alaska, there was a guy salmon
<v Speaker 1>fishing where we were camping at and me and Fred
<v Speaker 1>asked him, have you ever seen or heard anything strange?
<v Speaker 1>Out here. He started telling us stories. He's like, I
<v Speaker 1>got a friend, a friend that experienced us. We think
<v Speaker 1>it was him. But he was talking about driving at nighttime.
<v Speaker 1>It was pitch black and all of a sudden it
<v Speaker 1>be daylight and then go back to darkness.
<v Speaker 2>I've had I can believe that almost light lighting, but
<v Speaker 2>it wasn't lighting. I mean it was you know, late
<v Speaker 2>November twenty seven degrees and not a clay in the
<v Speaker 2>sky that morning, and it was still not time and
<v Speaker 2>just be sitting there and all of sudd in the
<v Speaker 2>woods just light and go back dark.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and how long would it be daylight for?
<v Speaker 2>It's just almost like a flash a lot, and I'm
<v Speaker 2>out of a flash from a camera, but I mean
<v Speaker 2>they weren't no camera and I'm out tom of pine
<v Speaker 2>on Pine Ridge and nothing around for miles.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's pretty strange.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>And so what's your theory about the Sasquatch? Where do
<v Speaker 1>you think they came from?
<v Speaker 2>What are they think? They're done? Our own thing, made
<v Speaker 2>by God for a purpose. I mean, they're here for
<v Speaker 2>the time of tribulation. And I don't think they're a
<v Speaker 2>cross between the I think they might have human DNA,
<v Speaker 2>but they're not They're not made from this and this.
<v Speaker 2>I think God created them and made a reason for it.
<v Speaker 2>Well you don't know what it is yet, you know.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely, there's something strange going on with the whole phenomenon.
<v Speaker 1>And I don't think it can be as simple as
<v Speaker 1>a lost primate or m. Giganthropithecus. I think there's more
<v Speaker 1>to it. And I've had a lot of strange experiences
<v Speaker 1>and encounters with them. And even Scott Carpenter when he
<v Speaker 1>was alive, he said they'll follow you home. And that
<v Speaker 1>happened to me before I ever even listened to Scott Carpenter.
<v Speaker 2>Oh you, we've about forgotten the most things. The the
<v Speaker 2>orbs in my backyard.
<v Speaker 1>Now, yeah, let's talk about that.
<v Speaker 2>We've got a camera watching our chicken pan and we've
<v Speaker 2>been having they just go sh showing up in May,
<v Speaker 2>the first one for Roge. They setting off our cameras
<v Speaker 2>and they're like, uh, they were like Rodge, a light
<v Speaker 2>shooting by, but behind them were a bunch of little
<v Speaker 2>beaty lots And uh. Then what two weeks ago I
<v Speaker 2>talked to you and I called you later that and
<v Speaker 2>now I said, man, we j I we had orbs
<v Speaker 2>on our camera again and they were these were about that,
<v Speaker 2>you know, m between the soccer ball and the softball,
<v Speaker 2>and they actually activated the camera. I've got 'em saved.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I've got 'em saved on a camera.

<v Speaker 2>straight up and down the terrain with rivers, and it's
<v Speaker 2>got everything they need. So and I mean there's no
<v Speaker 2>there's nothing between here and North Carolina. And then you
<v Speaker 2>go right on into Tennessee. I mean you follow these
<v Speaker 2>rivers right on to feed this lake. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>When we hike this area, it's pretty rugged.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, I mean it's nothing forgiving.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's something else, that's for sure.
<v Speaker 2>It's you gotta have some mountain going in you be
<v Speaker 2>around here if you gonna hike around here a lot. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Kept thinking where I was hearing noises up in there.
<v Speaker 2>I kept looking up their back this where I kept

<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Wild. How you can like walk all over the
<v Speaker 1>country looking for these things, and all of a sudden
<v Speaker 1>you'll be sitting in one spot and you can hear
<v Speaker 1>swopping noises and strange. Yeah, it's when you're not looking
<v Speaker 1>for them, they'll find you.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I think we're there were there were their favorite pastime.

<v Speaker 1>Yeah, And it's so thick in North and South Carolina,
<v Speaker 1>like you can't even see in the woods. And like
<v Speaker 1>I told you, even like in January February, in the
<v Speaker 1>middle of the winter, it's so thick and it's still
<v Speaker 1>green that you can't you can't see in the woods
<v Speaker 1>ten feet in front of you.
<v Speaker 2>The mountain bill never turns. It stays like a year round. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, it's just it never th ends out. Now,
<v Speaker 2>the hardwood trees, they'll drop their leaves and you can
<v Speaker 2>see through from the ridges. But below that you're not
<v Speaker 2>gonna see, you know, the ground canopy because it's got
<v Speaker 2>that canopy of mountain loll you know anywhere from six
<v Speaker 2>six five six foot that lot has got everything blocked in. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>but it does stand out. But it's still walking wise,
<v Speaker 2>it don't get no easier. It's so like we did today.
<v Speaker 2>You get lucky, find of creaking and go a little
<v Speaker 2>ways and I think you've seen we got hogs.
<v Speaker 1>Just yeah, there's a lot of hogs saying here, and
<v Speaker 1>I was reading report after report of cryptodactivity all around
<v Speaker 1>this area, all through Highway eleven, the Appalachian Mountains.
<v Speaker 2>I see, it's never ending.
<v Speaker 1>There's a ton of messing people reports.
<v Speaker 2>Well, you can go right up here, just a couple
<v Speaker 2>of mountains over and you're on an apple Achian trail,
<v Speaker 2>so that the Foothills trail goes through here. That's sixty
<v Speaker 2>something miles right there. It goes all the way from
<v Speaker 2>Caesar's Head. I think the Georgia. Yeah, I mean there's
<v Speaker 2>there's a lot of woods through here, a lot of
<v Speaker 2>untouched woods. I mean, you take a you have to
<v Speaker 2>be crazy to try to walk some of these places.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, there's a lot of hunters that say they've been
<v Speaker 1>out in the woods forty years plus and they never
<v Speaker 1>seen anything or heard anything strange. But I don't think
<v Speaker 1>you're a real hunter if you can't hunt, if you
<v Speaker 1>can't track down a sasquatch.

<v Speaker 1>all all sorts of theories playing Native American sounds. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>people have all kinds of theories as to what could
<v Speaker 1>bring them out. But I think Sasquatch is gonna do
<v Speaker 1>what it wants to do. That night when you had
<v Speaker 1>the encounter with the kun dogs, do you think it
<v Speaker 1>was a Bigfoot or do you think it was a
<v Speaker 1>dog man?
<v Speaker 2>I'm still rationing with the doll man thing, but I
<v Speaker 2>I started thinking Bigfoot after I started learning about Bigfoot,
<v Speaker 2>and then I'm you know, I'm open because I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I couldn't make out enough of it. Ocousy was the
<v Speaker 2>glowing eyes and the teeth, and I thought through it
<v Speaker 2>a hundred times in my head. But the way the
<v Speaker 2>teeth were, I don't think a dog man. He's got
<v Speaker 2>a snout. I don't think I was looking at that. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I think I was looking at more of a straight
<v Speaker 2>line of white. But it's hard to say.
<v Speaker 1>Did you ever return it that area?
<v Speaker 2>Now that don't blow up? I mean not because I
<v Speaker 2>didn't want to. It's just it was really the old
<v Speaker 2>man that owned it. Luckily Ray knew him, and the
<v Speaker 2>dogs got there. We didn't We wasn't hunting that land.
<v Speaker 2>The dogs just ended up over there. Man don't lived there.
<v Speaker 2>In fact, I think he's probably dead now that he
<v Speaker 2>was in his seventies. Then that was in the eighties,
<v Speaker 2>I mean seventies, so I'm sure his family. I went
<v Speaker 2>by there for the week and there's a gate, old
<v Speaker 2>glowed up gate. I mean it growed up big time.
<v Speaker 2>So all of it's a lot of posted where we
<v Speaker 2>used to stomp around and run free. Now it's posted,
<v Speaker 2>but it's still thick and ain't changed. I lived there
<v Speaker 2>on Go Go Earth and it's still I don't doubt
<v Speaker 2>there's still. It's just one of them places. It has
<v Speaker 2>that extreme strangeness. You know. It never did feel right,
<v Speaker 2>even in them days when we didn't know no better,
<v Speaker 2>we knew it just wouldn't. It was my a is
<v Speaker 2>a place it was just bad. Yeah, just something felt
<v Speaker 2>off and always something bad happening there.

<v Speaker 1>becoming very populated. And I wonder how this will change
<v Speaker 1>the terrain in the future. I'm sure a lot of
<v Speaker 1>the forests will soon disappear, but that's a long ways
<v Speaker 1>from now because there's a lot of forest out there
<v Speaker 1>and we will see how this changes the activity in
