<v Speaker 5>My big Foot siding happened when I was with my mom,
<v Speaker 5>right when I had just got back home from boot camp. Actually,
<v Speaker 5>but my first ever experience, now that I had put
<v Speaker 5>the two together. At first, I didn't know what it
<v Speaker 5>was wash before I went to basic being from Colorado,
<v Speaker 5>you know, I had to lie in MEPs about not
<v Speaker 5>having asthma and all that stuff. But being at this
<v Speaker 5>high elevation of my whole life, and you know, i'd
<v Speaker 5>train in the mountains and stuff running up mountains, you know,
<v Speaker 5>and full fatigues and all that type of stuff, you know,
<v Speaker 5>with a couple buddies of mine, and uh, that's when
<v Speaker 5>my first experience happened. Now that I think of that,
<v Speaker 5>it had to have been because nothing else throws rocks,
<v Speaker 5>you know, I know, bears don't.
<v Speaker 1>And where we were there was.
<v Speaker 5>No one else around because at the time I was
<v Speaker 5>living in northern Colorado.
<v Speaker 1>So we were off of were Highway thirty four.
<v Speaker 5>It goes up into the mountains through Loveland and you
<v Speaker 5>could take that all the way to Ess Park, which
<v Speaker 5>is famous for the Stanley Hotel that it was part of.
<v Speaker 5>It was, you know, in the shining and I guess
<v Speaker 5>it's a haunted hotel or whatnot. We weren't quite We
<v Speaker 5>were probably maybe fifteen miles still out of Estist when
<v Speaker 5>we pulled over to the side of the road and
<v Speaker 5>I had you know, a rocksack with me that just
<v Speaker 5>put you know, just weights in and stuff like that.
<v Speaker 5>I did have my Springfield forty five nineteen eleven with
<v Speaker 5>a wood green grip and it so it was a
<v Speaker 5>World War Two edition Raider marine logo sketched out into
<v Speaker 5>the grip of it, and which is pretty cool.
<v Speaker 1>I love that gun to this day still.
<v Speaker 5>And my buddy had put like a rocksack on not really,
<v Speaker 5>it's a backpack, you know that you could just buy
<v Speaker 5>it like some stores with like the fake little camels
<v Speaker 5>on it, and just basically did the same thing as
<v Speaker 5>me and just put a bunch of weights in it.
<v Speaker 5>He wasn't joining the military, but you know, he didn't mind,
<v Speaker 5>you know, getting a.
<v Speaker 1>Cardio workout in.
<v Speaker 5>And we just parked on the side of the road
<v Speaker 5>and there's no trails going up these mountains, pretty steep
<v Speaker 5>ups there, and we just started going right up, and uh,
<v Speaker 5>it's probably took a good almost two hours to reach
<v Speaker 5>the summit. And when we had reached the summit, I
<v Speaker 5>remember just looking out and being like, wow, oh my goodness,
<v Speaker 5>Like I can guarantee you there's so many places out
<v Speaker 5>here that people have never been to. When you get
<v Speaker 5>really to those tops of those mountains and are able
<v Speaker 5>to look out how vast Colorado really can be, it's
<v Speaker 5>a little bit shocking, for sure. It's pretty amazing, to
<v Speaker 5>say the least. So anyway, it had been like five
<v Speaker 5>minutes up there, and I remember my buddy.
<v Speaker 1>His name is Dylan too. He comes running around.
<v Speaker 5>This boulder because he had to go take a piss
<v Speaker 5>around the corner, and he had like this look of
<v Speaker 5>like shock on his face.
<v Speaker 1>And I was like, you know what I mean, I
<v Speaker 1>was like, what the heck's wrong with you?
<v Speaker 5>He's like, there's a black bear around the boulder.
<v Speaker 1>It's like this little like boulder field.
<v Speaker 5>I guess you could stay on top of where we
<v Speaker 5>were and these were like big boulders, you know. And
<v Speaker 5>I was like, oh yes, So I went around to
<v Speaker 5>where he was, and sure enough there was like a
<v Speaker 5>little bore BlackBerry. I could tell he was a male
<v Speaker 5>digging in the dirt, you know. And I was like,
<v Speaker 5>hey bear, you know, like and I remember he was
<v Speaker 5>like he's like shoot it. I was like, I'm not
<v Speaker 5>gonna shoot it, dude. That's poaching. Bro, Like, let's there's
<v Speaker 5>no way and let's charge to attack me. I'm not
<v Speaker 5>going to shoot this animal. You know, he's not there
<v Speaker 5>was never like a hunter and stuff like that. And
<v Speaker 5>know he like had all like these hunting clothes and
<v Speaker 5>all that. He's more a fisherman, but he's so he
<v Speaker 5>had never really hunted before. And yeah, I was like, no,
<v Speaker 5>there's no way, you know what I mean. But I
<v Speaker 5>did shoot into the ground just to scare him off,
<v Speaker 5>but there was no way I wasn't shoot the bear.
<v Speaker 1>And after that we sat back down, and.
<v Speaker 5>I remember we had smoked a couple more cigarettes. I know,
<v Speaker 5>like he's kind of stupid, you know, like I'm going
<v Speaker 5>into the book soon, but.
<v Speaker 1>I don't care.
<v Speaker 5>I mean, I was smoking cigarettes then. I do too
<v Speaker 5>as day. I mean obviously couldn't boot camp obviously, but
<v Speaker 5>I did throughout my time with that as well. Anyway,
<v Speaker 5>after we had put our cigarette out, I remember we
<v Speaker 5>had gotten this weird feeling of like, hey, it's getting dark,
<v Speaker 5>like let's get down from here.
<v Speaker 1>Now, let's get out of here.
<v Speaker 5>And so we started on our way down and had
<v Speaker 5>to have been within the first three minutes of us
<v Speaker 5>starting our descent down, a football sized boulder rock came
<v Speaker 5>like zooming by our heads. It didn't come close to mind,
<v Speaker 5>but it came really close to my buddy's head, like
<v Speaker 5>it almost nailed him. And at the time, I remember
<v Speaker 5>we both had a weird feeling about it, but we
<v Speaker 5>just thought like I didn't know at the time, but
<v Speaker 5>I didn't think like you know, maybe a bear kicked
<v Speaker 5>the rock off or something like that, or it had
<v Speaker 5>phil But I didn't.
<v Speaker 1>I wasn't.
<v Speaker 5>It didn't occur to me at the time, you know, like, hey,
<v Speaker 5>we're basically still at the top of this mountain.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't think of that at the time.
<v Speaker 5>I just kind of put ushit in the back of
<v Speaker 5>my head, like, hey, it was just you know, it
<v Speaker 5>was something that rolled off because up to this point,
<v Speaker 5>you know, I didn't really like I always growing up,
<v Speaker 5>you know, saw like the Monster Quest shows, and I
<v Speaker 5>did in search of and all that finding big foot stuff,
<v Speaker 5>and I thought it was a cool idea, but I
<v Speaker 5>never really believed in there being anything like that out
<v Speaker 5>in the woods, so I didn't put any credibility to it.
<v Speaker 1>So at the time I didn't.
<v Speaker 5>I do recall the weird feeling, but I didn't think
<v Speaker 5>it was put two and two together at the.
<v Speaker 1>Time anyway, to say least.
<v Speaker 5>So we wound up, you know, got down from there
<v Speaker 5>and didn't think anything of it. And now fast forward
<v Speaker 5>a little over thirteen weeks, because I had shipped down
<v Speaker 5>like a couple of days after that happened. So when
<v Speaker 5>I had come home before I went to my ait
<v Speaker 5>which is an advanced infantry training for people who don't know.
<v Speaker 5>And I got to come see my family, you know,
<v Speaker 5>my my wife at the time, I had to we
<v Speaker 5>had to legally get married because she was pregnant and
<v Speaker 5>going active duty. You can't be a single father in
<v Speaker 5>active duty. So we just got married.
<v Speaker 1>It is what it is.
<v Speaker 5>I mean, we were playing on it at the time anyway,
<v Speaker 5>but that's not what we're here to talk about anyway.
<v Speaker 5>So I had gotten home and my mom had been
<v Speaker 5>just diagnosed with Adison's disease. If you don't know what
<v Speaker 5>that is, it's you're adrenal glands. They don't produce that
<v Speaker 5>adrenal fluid for themselves anymore. She has to take steroids
<v Speaker 5>the rest of her life unfortunately, to be able just
<v Speaker 5>to get up, for her to get that get.
<v Speaker 1>Up and go.
<v Speaker 5>And at times she said seizures from it and all
<v Speaker 5>that sorts of medical issues. But she had just been
<v Speaker 5>diagnosed with this at the time, and I remember, you know,
<v Speaker 5>asking her, like, hey, do you want to go on
<v Speaker 5>a little hike, you.
<v Speaker 1>Know, like let's go up to Sedalia.
<v Speaker 5>Siedelia is uh south of Denver.
<v Speaker 1>It's by Castle Rock. If anyone knows who that is.
<v Speaker 5>It's like west of Castle Rock and basically just west
<v Speaker 5>from Sedalian into the mountains. There we went to this
<v Speaker 5>part this this road called Rampart Range Road. It's big
<v Speaker 5>dirt road, big dirt like parking lot. We've been there,
<v Speaker 5>you know, many times before this too. We've been there before,
<v Speaker 5>and we you know, just sat off and a little
<v Speaker 5>hike and I knew I had noticed that she was
<v Speaker 5>my mom was pretty slowly, like she couldn't she wasn't
<v Speaker 5>keeping up with me very easily, obviously. I mean I
<v Speaker 5>was in the best shape of my life at that
<v Speaker 5>point in time. Yeah, But so I wasn't gonna like
<v Speaker 5>leave her obviously, but like I was ahead of her
<v Speaker 5>a little bit, you know, just kind of looking around,
<v Speaker 5>you know, just looking at stuff, exploring. And I mean
<v Speaker 5>this couldn't have been, you know, more than one hundred
<v Speaker 5>and fifty yards away from the start of the trail
<v Speaker 5>that heads deeper west into the forest.
<v Speaker 1>And how what this hill is like?
<v Speaker 5>It's like a hill, like a foothill in the mountains basically,
<v Speaker 5>I guess in the South they call it like a hauller.
<v Speaker 5>But up to this point, I remember I had jumped
<v Speaker 5>up on this like dead log this tree that like
<v Speaker 5>looked like it had been logged or something, because it
<v Speaker 5>was just a stump of it now and it looked
<v Speaker 5>like it had been cut. I remember him thinking that,
<v Speaker 5>and I had hopped up on it, and when I
<v Speaker 5>looked down this foothel as when my life, you know,
<v Speaker 5>changed forever, because I mean whatever people call sasquatch or
<v Speaker 5>those creatures you've heard about your whole life, you know,
<v Speaker 5>was right maybe maybe fifty feet from me, but it
<v Speaker 5>wasn't looking at me, was walking down away from me,
<v Speaker 5>so I could only see the back of it at
<v Speaker 5>this point.
<v Speaker 1>And how big it was.
<v Speaker 5>I mean, I don't think people really can understand and
<v Speaker 5>put in perspective like how big these freaking things are.
<v Speaker 5>I mean, it's just like sharks, you know, in real life.
<v Speaker 5>You got to see him up close and personal to
<v Speaker 5>really like appreciate how large they are. Because this thing
<v Speaker 5>was at least eight eight and a half nine maybe
<v Speaker 5>nine foot tall and like at least four feet wide,
<v Speaker 5>you know, and had like this darkish brown, not red,
<v Speaker 5>but it was like a dark brown where like I
<v Speaker 5>could see it almost being black at night, especially like
<v Speaker 5>in lower light lighting situations. But it was huge and
<v Speaker 5>was walking away from me, and I won't lie. I
<v Speaker 5>screamed like a little girl. Basically I screamed, and it
<v Speaker 5>freaked my mom out. And I remember I had turned
<v Speaker 5>at first and fight or Fly. I just had ran
<v Speaker 5>right past my mom at first, and I had to
<v Speaker 5>stop myself, like, oh my god, I can't leave my mom. Duh,
<v Speaker 5>what are you doing? You know my mom's sitting here
<v Speaker 5>yelling at me, like you know what is going on?
<v Speaker 1>What you know? Like I was like, hold on, mom,
<v Speaker 1>I was like, cause my mom.
<v Speaker 5>You know, she's one of those people that she's just
<v Speaker 5>so honest, like even growing up, you know, like she
<v Speaker 5>embarrassed me with her how honest she was sometimes. That's
<v Speaker 5>how like an honest person. She was, like people knows
<v Speaker 5>she does not lie. So I was like, you know what,
<v Speaker 5>I got to make you got to see this?
<v Speaker 1>Mom. She's like see what? See what? And so I
<v Speaker 1>was like, community, you just got to see.
<v Speaker 5>This, because I mean, I'm thinking, you know, if my
<v Speaker 5>mom doesn't see this, then no one's gonna bleed in there,
<v Speaker 5>and you know, everyone's gonna think I'm just making this up.
<v Speaker 1>So I had basically forced my mom to.
<v Speaker 5>Come back to this spile to where I was, and
<v Speaker 5>looking down, I was like, I said a word I
<v Speaker 5>probably shouldn't have, and uh, it's gone, you know. And
<v Speaker 5>I had turned around and I had a pistol on
<v Speaker 5>me at the time too. I had a spring full
<v Speaker 5>of Cult seven inch barrel fingal action CULT forty five.
<v Speaker 5>And I remember turning around and like thinking, like it's gone,
<v Speaker 5>you know, And then my mom started screaming like bloody murder,
<v Speaker 5>and I turned back around.
<v Speaker 1>It wasn't gone.
<v Speaker 5>What it had done was it had walked, so it
<v Speaker 5>obviously had heard me when my head first saw it
<v Speaker 5>and screamed, and it walked down to the bottom of
<v Speaker 5>this holler as hill.
<v Speaker 1>And when this evergreen tree was and like.
<v Speaker 5>This, like I guess it looked like kind of like
<v Speaker 5>an oak bush or something, some type of bush. It
<v Speaker 5>had been kneeling down it behind it, watching us. And
<v Speaker 5>then when I had turned my back, I thought it
<v Speaker 5>was gone. It stood up, and then my mom's had
<v Speaker 5>now looking at it, screaming and screaming like bloody murder scream.
<v Speaker 5>And I surround and I can see it now. I'm like,
<v Speaker 5>I told you. She's like, you didn't tell me anything.
<v Speaker 5>I was like well, I mean, I know, I was
<v Speaker 5>like I had to make sure you see this because
<v Speaker 5>I mean, like I'm not crazy, like that's a big foot,
<v Speaker 5>you know. And I just still remember just that adrenaline
<v Speaker 5>that was going through my body at that moment in time.
<v Speaker 5>It's just this the type of primal fear that being
<v Speaker 5>in combat. Like I still have never experienced that type
<v Speaker 5>of primal fear since that day. But and it just
<v Speaker 5>kind of stood there for maybe it felt like a
<v Speaker 5>couple of minutes, but I mean it's maybe twenty seconds
<v Speaker 5>at the most. And at this point I totally forgot
<v Speaker 5>I had a gun on me. It was just looking
<v Speaker 5>at us like giving us this that vibe of like,
<v Speaker 5>you know, if I wanted to, I could, I.
<v Speaker 1>Could hurt you.
<v Speaker 5>Get out of here, basically, and it just turned and
<v Speaker 5>you know, within a few seconds, just gone like I
<v Speaker 5>couldn't we couldn't see it anymore. And it's kind of crazy.
<v Speaker 5>I could just disappear like that that quickly, Like it
<v Speaker 5>took a couple of steps, so it's right, and it
<v Speaker 5>was gone, and me and my mom needs to say,
<v Speaker 5>got the heck out of there. We were like, all right,
<v Speaker 5>you know, let's get out of here for sure, and
<v Speaker 5>we got out of there, and that's the the only
<v Speaker 5>time I've actually made eye contact saw one of these sasquatch,
<v Speaker 5>which I know for a fact is a sasquatch. After
<v Speaker 5>people see these things, they say like I'm a believer
<v Speaker 5>now or whatever. No, I'm gonna like, I know what's
<v Speaker 5>out there, Like I know for a fact that that
<v Speaker 5>is out there now, like real, I didn't used to,
<v Speaker 5>but now I know. And uh it put me to
<v Speaker 5>like an obsession almost kind of. We're like, now that
<v Speaker 5>I know these things exist, I want to know so
<v Speaker 5>much more about them, you know, And why aren't people being.
<v Speaker 1>Told about this?
<v Speaker 5>I feel like people should know about this, and I
<v Speaker 5>feel like, you know, big brother does know about it,
<v Speaker 5>but they're not. If they don't want something to be known,
<v Speaker 5>it's not going to be known period anyway. So that
<v Speaker 5>was my y my h encounter where I'm made visual contact.
<v Speaker 5>So this is what happened a couple weeks later. This
<v Speaker 5>is not a sasque I don't know what this was
<v Speaker 5>with me and my buddy. You know, we were young
<v Speaker 5>at the time, and you know, before we were going
<v Speaker 5>to a t you know, we were drinking and stuff
<v Speaker 5>like that and we I was like, yeah, do you
<v Speaker 5>want to go see where me and my mom saw
<v Speaker 5>a sasquatch? So he was like yeah, you know, we
<v Speaker 5>were all drinking and stuff. It's not a good Yeah.
<v Speaker 5>I would never drink a drive, you know. It's we
<v Speaker 5>were young and dumb, stupid kids, you know. So we
<v Speaker 5>drove up there like three in the morning with this
<v Speaker 5>stick shift BMW to where we me and my mom
<v Speaker 5>had saw this and like ran off trail and you
<v Speaker 5>know it the only liquid courage. I don't know why
<v Speaker 5>we did this, It's so stupid. And we were like
<v Speaker 5>trying to make sasquatch calls or something. I remember like
<v Speaker 5>laughing about it with him, and then something like had
<v Speaker 5>purposely stepped on a stick to get our attention. It
<v Speaker 5>seemed like it was purposely done, and we both turned
<v Speaker 5>around and I still to this day, I don't know
<v Speaker 5>what it was, but it was in the same location,
<v Speaker 5>same parking lot, you know, right off the trail. Eight
<v Speaker 5>tall silhouette figure and on the soul of my brother.
<v Speaker 5>This is true, This is very true. I don't know
<v Speaker 5>what it was though. This thing had like a glowing
<v Speaker 5>deer head for a skull, but the rest of its
<v Speaker 5>body was like a black silhouette. And I remember we
<v Speaker 5>just went in the fight or flight immediately from looking
<v Speaker 5>at this thing. And it's not advised, but we drove
<v Speaker 5>very drunk off in a stick shift BMW two seater.
<v Speaker 1>I'm super quick.
<v Speaker 5>Off that mountain and it's not safe, you know, but
<v Speaker 5>thank God God was watching out for me and got
<v Speaker 5>us home safely and taught us a lesson. I still
<v Speaker 5>to this day don't know what that is. But I
<v Speaker 5>mean that opened my eyes to like, oh my God,
<v Speaker 5>and you know, first Bigfoot and then this thing. I
<v Speaker 5>don't even know what this thing is. I mean, what
<v Speaker 5>else is out there? Like we don't even know it's
<v Speaker 5>just a tip of the iceberg. I mean, who knows
<v Speaker 5>what could be out there? So it just blows my
<v Speaker 5>mind because I mean I never thought in a million
<v Speaker 5>years that.
<v Speaker 1>That could be real.
<v Speaker 5>People would have to worry about that while being out
<v Speaker 5>in the wilderness, you know. Like now I'm not camping
<v Speaker 5>a tent like I just won't do it. Next, I'm
<v Speaker 5>gonna get into my dog man experiences. I've only had
<v Speaker 5>one visual sighting with a dog man too, I've only
<v Speaker 5>seen one of them, but I have my brothers had
<v Speaker 5>more than one and may he rest in peace. He
<v Speaker 5>passed away two years ago almost now. My little brother
<v Speaker 5>is the hardest thing I've ever had to go through
<v Speaker 5>in my life by far losing my best friend. Me
<v Speaker 5>and him were very close, you know, and he was
<v Speaker 5>also one of these people that were just like my mom,
<v Speaker 5>you know, just so honest. It's like they're honest to
<v Speaker 5>a fault almost. And anyway, where we had been living,
<v Speaker 5>it's on the border between Denver and Aurora. So the
<v Speaker 5>crazy part the thing about this is this is not
<v Speaker 5>in the middle of the mountains, you know, like there's
<v Speaker 5>Cherry Creek State Park and anyone who knows Colorado, you know,
<v Speaker 5>like on the Front Range, there's these areas that are
<v Speaker 5>connected to rivers and stuff like that that are connected
<v Speaker 5>to the mountains you know, that slope down into the
<v Speaker 5>Front Range. So there's definitely like these places that could
<v Speaker 5>have some crazy people could hide in them, whatever animals,
<v Speaker 5>things could hide.
<v Speaker 1>To say the least.
<v Speaker 5>And where we were living at the time this time,
<v Speaker 5>we had been hearing you know, from some of our buddies,
<v Speaker 5>like and we hadn't told anyone that we were into.
<v Speaker 1>Cryptis or anything like that. Like my mom was and me.
<v Speaker 5>But my brother to this point wasn't you know, he
<v Speaker 5>thought it was all bull crap too, But me and
<v Speaker 5>my mom didn't like it. We were listening to like
<v Speaker 5>encounter stories and I you know, like just started to
<v Speaker 5>be obsessed with it, you know. So we didn't talk
<v Speaker 5>to our friends about this.
<v Speaker 1>To say the least.
<v Speaker 5>I had told this which caught my attention, where they
<v Speaker 5>described as like walking coyotes. They said at night that
<v Speaker 5>would eat the raccoons out of that that would come
<v Speaker 5>to these uh dumpsters on the side of where this
<v Speaker 5>little forested area is that's connected to this golf course
<v Speaker 5>that's connected to Cherry Creek Reservoir. And I remember thinking
<v Speaker 5>and putting it together and tell him on to that's
<v Speaker 5>something you know that sounds like a dog man or something,
<v Speaker 5>you know, like walking coyotes, you know, like hmm.
<v Speaker 1>And I don't know why.
<v Speaker 5>I couldn't see who told us that making it up,
<v Speaker 5>But then again I didn't know. I I just had
<v Speaker 5>put to I was like that, I mean, it sounds
<v Speaker 5>like a dog man. And so this is about maybe
<v Speaker 5>a couple months later, our good friend of ours, you know,
<v Speaker 5>we had came over to his house this one morning,
<v Speaker 5>and he told us, I'm going to chronological order. So
<v Speaker 5>this is how everything happened in like order. He had
<v Speaker 5>told us, me and my mom and my brother that
<v Speaker 5>last night, you know, one of his other buddies who's there,
<v Speaker 5>was out smoking a cigarette and out the back of
<v Speaker 5>the side of his apartments that's lined up next to
<v Speaker 5>the golf course, and this this little forested area and
<v Speaker 5>there's like this little path and this fence right there
<v Speaker 5>behind these apartments. And he said he was back there
<v Speaker 5>smoking his cigarette, and he runs in and tells our friend, Hey,
<v Speaker 5>there's some you know, suspicious looking guy back there running around,
<v Speaker 5>like with this trench coat on, and he's really tall
<v Speaker 5>and all this stuff that like, you know, freaked our
<v Speaker 5>friend out to say the least, you know, because he's
<v Speaker 5>he doesn't want any suspicious characters up to know, good
<v Speaker 5>possible bullhood who knows, you know, running around doing suspicious stuff,
<v Speaker 5>who knows around like his neighborhood and his neighbors.
<v Speaker 1>He doesn't want nothing like.
<v Speaker 5>Bad to happen, you know. So he goes out there
<v Speaker 5>and he brings his gun. You know, it's legal. Of course,
<v Speaker 5>I have a legal caceille carry too. And you know,
<v Speaker 5>he goes back there and checks it out, and uh

<v Speaker 5>the that forested area, he saw what he described as
<v Speaker 5>like this walking German shepherd husky looking werewolf type of thing.
<v Speaker 1>And at first, he said, he didn't know what it was.
<v Speaker 5>He thought of someone like wearing the costume or something
<v Speaker 5>like that at first, when like werewolf head costume or something,
<v Speaker 5>he said, when it had noticed him, it made this noise,
<v Speaker 5>you know, it turned and looked at him, and he said,
<v Speaker 5>within two seconds, he said.
<v Speaker 1>He couldnot believe. It blew his mind how quick this
<v Speaker 1>thing was.
<v Speaker 5>Within two seconds, he had dropped down to all fours
<v Speaker 5>and was like ten feet fifteen feet in front of him,
<v Speaker 5>but like directly parallel from him on the other side
<v Speaker 5>of the fence from where he's standing behind his apartment
<v Speaker 5>now and it stands book up on two legs. And
<v Speaker 5>I remember him telling me about it looks like these
<v Speaker 5>things I said, like almost like flashlights or something like
<v Speaker 5>as eyeballs, because he wasn't shining any light at it,
<v Speaker 5>and the eyes that this thing had was putting off
<v Speaker 5>this gold glowing light that was very prominent one of
<v Speaker 5>the things that he noticed from this creature while staring
<v Speaker 5>at him.
<v Speaker 1>And it started to.
<v Speaker 5>Growl, and even though he had his gun in his hand,
<v Speaker 5>you know, he told me, he's like, well, I'm not
<v Speaker 5>dealing with this.
<v Speaker 1>I don't even know what that is.
<v Speaker 5>And he was hard enough not to, you know, turn
<v Speaker 5>around and start running, but he just slowly backed up,
<v Speaker 5>and he's making eye contact with it.
<v Speaker 1>It's probably not the best idea, but the whole.
<v Speaker 5>Time, and he backs up, you know, to the back
<v Speaker 5>door of the apartments and opens it, then goes inside
<v Speaker 5>and closes locks all his windows and doors. And my
<v Speaker 5>guy had said early like, we haven't told any of
<v Speaker 5>our friends circle anything about cryptids stuff like that. So
<v Speaker 5>for him to tell us like this, and the person
<v Speaker 5>that this guy was, I mean, there was no way
<v Speaker 5>he was just gonna make something like this up. No,
<v Speaker 5>like he's the last person on earth I would think
<v Speaker 5>would tell me something like this. And now from hearing
<v Speaker 5>those with the walking coyotes that eat the raccoons and
<v Speaker 5>stuff at night and you're hearing this, I'm like, holy cow,
<v Speaker 5>you know, like that's a dog man, you know, like
<v Speaker 5>that is definitely And then we're getting goosebumps thinking about
<v Speaker 5>it while he's telling me this. So now it's this
<v Speaker 5>is about a month later where me and my brother
<v Speaker 5>finally have our encounter and my brother finds out that,
<v Speaker 5>you know, the hard way that seeing is believing, I guess,
<v Speaker 5>but that these things are definitely not fairy tales, and
<v Speaker 5>it's unfortunate people don't know more about them and how
<v Speaker 5>close they are to freaking civilians, like to civilian life,
<v Speaker 5>like this is not this is an urban areas, not
<v Speaker 5>rule where this is. So anyway, we were leaving our
<v Speaker 5>buddys house and we were going to go to this
<v Speaker 5>bus stop.
<v Speaker 1>Our car was unbroken at the side.
<v Speaker 5>I had totaled it a couple months before or so
<v Speaker 5>we had to catch the bus back home. At the
<v Speaker 5>time we were living with our dad. I had came home.
<v Speaker 5>You know, this is years since you know, I've seen
<v Speaker 5>that Bigfoot, and you know, I left in the military
<v Speaker 5>and went into a private contracting company and actually went
<v Speaker 5>to Eastern Ukraine's fifteen saw combat. And I was dealing
<v Speaker 5>with mental health issues and you know PTSD and all
<v Speaker 5>that stuff.
<v Speaker 1>You know, So I had been abusing alcohol and stuff
<v Speaker 1>at the time.
<v Speaker 5>But anyway, so I lost my place and we were
<v Speaker 5>living with our dad, to say the least is what
<v Speaker 5>had happened, you know, so to do this time, you know,
<v Speaker 5>I'm dealing with stuff as well, but you know, getting
<v Speaker 5>better from it now. I was going to these grief
<v Speaker 5>counseling stuff and it was helping. But so we were
<v Speaker 5>going back to go to our dad's house and there's
<v Speaker 5>this little shortcut that we used to take that we
<v Speaker 5>would have to go off the path of and basically
<v Speaker 5>cut through a little bit of the golf course and
<v Speaker 5>then cut through this like area of let's I connected
<v Speaker 5>to Cherry Creek. It's a little it's like half of
<v Speaker 5>it it's forested, but the other half is just like
<v Speaker 5>this really long grass and fields type of stuff in between. Basically,
<v Speaker 5>and we were about to cut off the path and
<v Speaker 5>start taking this a little shortcut when my brother's like, hey,
<v Speaker 5>what is that? And I remember looking over and thinking
<v Speaker 5>it was just like someone's dog or something like some
<v Speaker 5>huge like one of those masses, those big dogs like
<v Speaker 5>mastives or whatever like, but it was all black. I
<v Speaker 5>remember that and thinking like, man.
<v Speaker 1>What the heck is it.
<v Speaker 5>I was like, it's just someone's dog, you know, and
<v Speaker 5>he was like yeah, and uh. I remember it had
<v Speaker 5>turned and looked at us, and Caleb threw a rock
<v Speaker 5>at it, and so I did too. I was like, huh,
<v Speaker 5>that looks I mean, that is and look like a
<v Speaker 5>normal dog. I remember him saying that first, and he
<v Speaker 5>threw a rock at it, and I don't know why
<v Speaker 5>I did too, And I threw a rock at it,
<v Speaker 5>not like trying to purposely hit it and I but
<v Speaker 5>trying to get it to like do something. And because
<v Speaker 5>where it was, we kind of needed to, like we're
<v Speaker 5>going to have to go like cross right by where
<v Speaker 5>it was if.
<v Speaker 1>We wanted to get to the shortcut to the bus stop.
<v Speaker 5>And when we did, and I through mine, I remember
<v Speaker 5>this thing stood up and like the look on my
<v Speaker 5>brother's face. I still remember it to this day because
<v Speaker 5>I could just imagine what was going through his head
<v Speaker 5>at that moment. In time, and I remember looking back
<v Speaker 5>at it and it was I mean I had to
<v Speaker 5>be about like one hundred and fifty to like one
<v Speaker 5>hundred and twenty, not not much more or less than
<v Speaker 5>that away from us feet and this thing was so
<v Speaker 5>big that we could see its eyes like darting back
<v Speaker 5>and forth between me and my brother.
<v Speaker 1>I remember that.
<v Speaker 5>And then it started. One thing I notice too, was
<v Speaker 5>it's squatting down. It kept like like it was doing
<v Speaker 5>squats or something. I don't know what if it was
<v Speaker 5>like trying to get a better angle ass what it
<v Speaker 5>was doing. But I remember I kept doing that. I
<v Speaker 5>had done it like four or five times, like squatting
<v Speaker 5>down like getting back up, you know.
<v Speaker 1>On it wouldn't go down to all fours.
<v Speaker 5>We would just like squat down like doing a squat almost,
<v Speaker 5>and it would.
<v Speaker 1>Stay there for a couple of seconds and then go
<v Speaker 1>right back up.
<v Speaker 5>And I don't know what the heck it was doing,
<v Speaker 5>but this like really like for some reason like unnerved
<v Speaker 5>me and my brother too, and uh, I think at
<v Speaker 5>that point we just turned around, was like all right,
<v Speaker 5>screamed the short cut, you know, we're go to take
<v Speaker 5>a long way, and we just wound up taking the
<v Speaker 5>long way around to go to the bus stop, which
<v Speaker 5>is through the neighborhood and on a street you know
<v Speaker 5>that's busy with cars. We actually never took that short
<v Speaker 5>cut ever again. Actually, but that was when we actually
<v Speaker 5>had made a visual encounter and confirmed it for me that,
<v Speaker 5>you know, Okay, these dog nite things are real now too.
<v Speaker 5>You know, because before I had seen this and up
<v Speaker 5>to that point or even heard my buddy's encounter, I
<v Speaker 5>kind of thought like dog men were just like being
<v Speaker 5>like misidentified big Foot or something like that. That's my
<v Speaker 5>point of thinking up to that time. And that totally
<v Speaker 5>changed it. I remember that changed, and that blew my
<v Speaker 5>b I member my brother how my brother was acting.
<v Speaker 5>He was like, oh my god, man, you guys weren't lying,
<v Speaker 5>And he said, U about our buddy.
<v Speaker 1>He was like, man, he wasn't lying either.
<v Speaker 5>I said, I never thought he was lying in the
<v Speaker 5>first place, you know, And I could just tell that
<v Speaker 5>this was like really starting to sink in and he
<v Speaker 5>started to become obsessed. Now after this, I know, you
<v Speaker 5>hear people like I don't know if I necessarily would
<v Speaker 5>want to see one again, but we wanted to learn
<v Speaker 5>as much as we could more about them, you know,
<v Speaker 5>and why don't people know about these things? Like why
<v Speaker 5>don't people why aren't people before they go out in
<v Speaker 5>the woods, or even worse, how many cats and dogs
<v Speaker 5>that have been missing, like pets that have been missing
<v Speaker 5>from that neighborhood was astounding, And I remember taking notice
<v Speaker 5>of that before even hearing about anything that had been
<v Speaker 5>a problem there, since I think even before we had
<v Speaker 5>moved there. And that's not a rural area, that is
<v Speaker 5>this urban, this is where Aurora meets Denver. There's people there,
<v Speaker 5>you know, And I actually think there was like a
<v Speaker 5>bunch of homeless.
<v Speaker 1>People there at the time too.
<v Speaker 5>I had heard, I think about a couple homeless people
<v Speaker 5>that had like died suspiciously. I don't know the details
<v Speaker 5>around that, so I can be sure, who knows if
<v Speaker 5>it's just drug overroas or what you know, but I remember.
<v Speaker 1>There was like suspicious stuff about a.
<v Speaker 5>Couple homeless people had died over there that I totally
<v Speaker 5>forgot about until right now remembering that.
<v Speaker 1>So that just it's unfor that more people don't know
<v Speaker 1>about this, and.
<v Speaker 5>That these things are right here, like literally in our backyard,
<v Speaker 5>and the majority of people out here have not even
<v Speaker 5>the slightest clue and aren't even being they're probably not
<v Speaker 5>even willing open to learning about that or taking someone
<v Speaker 5>seriously about that until they have their own encounter. You know,
<v Speaker 5>That's what's probably going to take for a lot of
<v Speaker 5>these people, unfortunately, because for some reason, Big Brother does
<v Speaker 5>not want it to get out. Obviously, I have a good,
<v Speaker 5>strong feeling I still have people that you know, I
<v Speaker 5>know that are They're pretty deep in our government, to
<v Speaker 5>say the least. And you know, they don't tell me
<v Speaker 5>a lot, but they they tell me enough to where
<v Speaker 5>I have a deep, deep suspicion that they know what
<v Speaker 5>these things are, and they know more about things that
<v Speaker 5>we probably don't even know about. Now I'm gonna tell
<v Speaker 5>the encounter of my good buddy. I'm not gonna say
<v Speaker 5>his name, because when I talked to him, he told
<v Speaker 5>me this, and he told me he doesn't care who
<v Speaker 5>I tell it to, but that he doesn't want his
<v Speaker 5>name out there because I mean, he was a police
<v Speaker 5>officer at one time and now he just I think
<v Speaker 5>he works for the Bureau of Land Management now I'm
<v Speaker 5>pretty sure he works at BLM. But anyway, he's been
<v Speaker 5>a bow hunter his whole life. He's from Colorado. I
<v Speaker 5>went to school with this guy. He now wents. His
<v Speaker 5>grandfather past put his land now in Louisiana in his name,
<v Speaker 5>so he moved down to Louisiana and he told me
<v Speaker 5>his experiences. So let me just say this, He's also
<v Speaker 5>one of those people that I thought it would be
<v Speaker 5>the last person in the world to tell me some
<v Speaker 5>crazy story.
<v Speaker 1>Like he's that type of person, you know.
<v Speaker 5>He's one of the buddies that I could call, like
<v Speaker 5>if I was financially in trouble or wanted to go hunting,
<v Speaker 5>or just needed some like good advice, you know, of
<v Speaker 5>life advice, you know, because he's one of those people
<v Speaker 5>that was just very gifted with that being able to
<v Speaker 5>like be a big brother in a type.
<v Speaker 1>Of sense, you know.
<v Speaker 5>So anyway, he had started telling me that he had
<v Speaker 5>noticed started noticing some weird things around this property. Now,
<v Speaker 5>because I mean it was right there on the edge
<v Speaker 5>of this bayou two the swamp that he would go
<v Speaker 5>fishing in love going out and all this stuff. He
<v Speaker 5>had these uh, these they weren't pets, but they were
<v Speaker 5>more of a nuisance than anything. He said, These stray
<v Speaker 5>cats that like lived in this barn on the property.
<v Speaker 5>So and he didn't care, I mean if the coyotes
<v Speaker 5>got him or not, because they were like they would
<v Speaker 5>kill every little animal around the property. So, I mean,
<v Speaker 5>he's a dog person, just like me. I'm a dog
<v Speaker 5>person too. I Mean I like big cats, but I
<v Speaker 5>don't like little cats. Maybe it's because I'm allergic to him,
<v Speaker 5>but probably hasn't to do with him. But I'm not
<v Speaker 5>a fan. But you know, I didn't think, uh that
<v Speaker 5>someone would like hurt them, you know. I mean, I
<v Speaker 5>think they do like kill nuisance cats in certain situations.
<v Speaker 1>But he wasn't going to do that.
<v Speaker 5>He was gonna let nature take its course. And he
<v Speaker 5>started knowing that noticing it. But he was like noticed
<v Speaker 5>it in like a day where like there was just
<v Speaker 5>no straight cats anymore. He's like wow, And he had
<v Speaker 5>noticed a little bit like of some fur and like
<v Speaker 5>a couple of blood stains up it looked like something
<v Speaker 5>had grabbed none of them and like just pulverized it
<v Speaker 5>against his shed.
<v Speaker 1>What could do that besides like a.
<v Speaker 5>Person, you know. And I started thinking, I was like, oh, oh,
<v Speaker 5>you might have a cryptid or something like that. And
<v Speaker 5>we're telling him that, and uh, he said you know,
<v Speaker 5>I've been having these weird feelings.
<v Speaker 1>He said, I don't know about that. Up to this point.
<v Speaker 1>You know, he was skeptic too, he's I don't know
<v Speaker 1>about that. He thought.
<v Speaker 5>Now he's thinking that, you know, some crazy lunatic that's
<v Speaker 5>on bassalts or myth or something is out there on
<v Speaker 5>his property at night killing his cats, you know, like
<v Speaker 5>freaking like a devil person or something, which I thought
<v Speaker 5>it was a possibility too when he told me this,
<v Speaker 5>because that's just weird, you know, and only two things
<v Speaker 5>are going to do that, a human or one of
<v Speaker 5>these cryptids that have hands like that. So he had
<v Speaker 5>told me this before this encounter had happened. His actual encounter.
<v Speaker 5>He had called me and we talked maybe once every
<v Speaker 5>two weeks to once every week, you know, it's around
<v Speaker 5>that often.
<v Speaker 1>So this is after, you know that he noticed the
<v Speaker 1>thing with the cats.
<v Speaker 5>He calls me one day and he's like, man, I
<v Speaker 5>swear dude, like I'm gonna shoot this crackhead.
<v Speaker 1>And I was like what crackhead?
<v Speaker 4>Bro?
<v Speaker 1>I was like, what are you talking about? But he like,
<v Speaker 1>who are you gonna shoot? And why? He's like, man.
<v Speaker 5>Every time he's like it's like watching me, Like whenever
<v Speaker 5>I go to bed. As soon as I go to
<v Speaker 5>bed and lay my eyes and close my eyes, something
<v Speaker 5>starts running around my house and tapping on the windows.
<v Speaker 5>And now I'm starting to really think, like, oh man,
<v Speaker 5>you're probably dealing with something.
<v Speaker 1>But like, you're probably dealing with something, but he still
<v Speaker 1>has it in his mind.
<v Speaker 5>You know, I still am not one hundred percent of
<v Speaker 5>shirt because I don't know, I'm not down there. But yeah,
<v Speaker 5>I could see how that would get annoying. And he
<v Speaker 5>would run out outside when this would start happening. His
<v Speaker 5>floodlights would be on, but there'd be nothing out there.
<v Speaker 5>And so this happened a couple of nights and then
<v Speaker 5>just stopped, and it stopped her about he said, I
<v Speaker 5>don't know, like almost a week, and it started happening
<v Speaker 5>again on these certain days and it would stop. And
<v Speaker 5>then before he could call me again. The next week,
<v Speaker 5>he had told me he was going hunting over the weekend.
<v Speaker 5>I was like, oh, cool, send me some jerky or whatever.
<v Speaker 5>They get some he gets some nice some nice bucks
<v Speaker 5>down that I've seen. Some of the pointers he gets
<v Speaker 5>out of.

<v Speaker 5>In this remote area that he backs up to his
<v Speaker 5>grandfather's property that's now his acreage and where he went hunting.

<v Speaker 5>I forgot exactly him many acres that were given to him,
<v Speaker 5>but I know it's a decent amount, which is, you know,
<v Speaker 5>it's pretty cool. And I think it's that land has
<v Speaker 5>been in his family for a long time, ever since
<v Speaker 5>I think they immigrated here. I think I remember him
<v Speaker 5>telling me that. But anyway, so yeah, I was like, oh,
<v Speaker 5>cool man, you're going hunting. That's awesome, you know. And
<v Speaker 5>uh so he tells me about this, and he finally
<v Speaker 5>had an encounter, you know, found out what had been
<v Speaker 5>doing all this stuff, which is crazy. Man. This is
<v Speaker 5>what happened. And if I mean, if anyone else would
<v Speaker 5>have told me this, I would have thought it was
<v Speaker 5>bull crap, you're full of it, you need to get
<v Speaker 5>your head checked out type of thing. And anyone else
<v Speaker 5>told me this, but this came from him at all. People,
<v Speaker 5>so make me laugh, just like, definitely wasn't expecting to
<v Speaker 5>hear this, So I'll tell you about it. He said
<v Speaker 5>he had been up in his uh his little blind
<v Speaker 5>and like one of these cypress trees. I think it
<v Speaker 5>was something like that. I'm relate it to you the
<v Speaker 5>best I can. How he told me, I do you
<v Speaker 5>have a traumatic brain injury. But I don't have that
<v Speaker 5>bad of memory problems. I think I got most of

<v Speaker 5>been there all day, hadn't seen any deer or nothing,

<v Speaker 5>all day. He had like periodically throughout the day noise
<v Speaker 5>would come back and then it would go away periodically

<v Speaker 5>there's tons of alligators in there, you know. And he
<v Speaker 5>said for the last three to four hours he had
<v Speaker 5>known this. What he thought at the time was a
<v Speaker 5>big bullgator just sitting right off the shore. You get
<v Speaker 5>to only see the top of its head, you know,
<v Speaker 5>just sitting there, and didn't pay it no thought nothing.
<v Speaker 5>Do you know, He's seen a thousand gators before this,
<v Speaker 5>So he is now you know, waiting, He's gonna be
<v Speaker 5>in a couple hours about to call it quits, start
<v Speaker 5>starting to finally become evening time, and he said, that's
<v Speaker 5>when this thing walked out and he finally knew what
<v Speaker 5>had been pulverizing those cats and tapping his window. He's
<v Speaker 5>a second, he slid.
<v Speaker 1>He just knew. He made this weird.
<v Speaker 5>Emotional connection, like he just knew this dog man out
<v Speaker 5>of nowhere.
<v Speaker 1>It just comes walking, you know.
<v Speaker 5>Bipedally right out of this thicket of bushes, walking right
<v Speaker 5>to the bank, almost like it had seen this alligator
<v Speaker 5>off the bank.
<v Speaker 1>And was they're opportunistic.
<v Speaker 5>So I guarantee that they eat alligators when they can,
<v Speaker 5>especially down in the swamp in the Bayou throughout the
<v Speaker 5>whole South.
<v Speaker 1>They probably do if they can. You know, they're opportunistic.
<v Speaker 5>So he said, they had like seen this alligator and
<v Speaker 5>it was just making a bee line straight to it.
<v Speaker 5>And as he's in shock at this point in time,
<v Speaker 5>you know, and he I mean, he's about to call
<v Speaker 5>it quits anyway and go back home, and he's like
<v Speaker 5>in shock watching this happen. And as this dog man, oh,
<v Speaker 5>he said, it was about if he was in his
<v Speaker 5>blind where he's sitting down in his blind, was maybe
<v Speaker 5>about twelve feet off the ground.
<v Speaker 1>I think, he said.
<v Speaker 5>This thing the dog man was around nine feet tall,
<v Speaker 5>nine to eight and a half pretty basically nine feet tall,
<v Speaker 5>and uh, he said, it had like this, this really
<v Speaker 5>like it had like it had been in the water
<v Speaker 5>before in that day. Like you know how dogs like
<v Speaker 5>how their coat gets stuck together almost and you can
<v Speaker 5>see the water shining off of it kind of like that,
<v Speaker 5>and it just looks like they've been swimming.
<v Speaker 1>He said, that's what his coat looked like. And it
<v Speaker 1>was dark.
<v Speaker 5>Said he could have been dark brown, but you know,
<v Speaker 5>he's pretty sure it was black. So this thing's going
<v Speaker 5>to be lying to this gator, and as soon as
<v Speaker 5>it's about within a couple the nice couple steps, it's
<v Speaker 5>going to be on top of it. This what he
<v Speaker 5>taught was an alligator with like in the blink of
<v Speaker 5>an eye, exploded out of the water, grabbing this dog
<v Speaker 5>man on under like by its head, under its jaw
<v Speaker 5>like with its jaws revealing a way bigger head than
<v Speaker 5>he thought. And this whoking, massive monster thing that kind
<v Speaker 5>of looked like a like a crocodile dinosaur type of thing.

<v Speaker 5>he just witnessed himself like he witnessed this. And now

<v Speaker 5>he's moving back to Colorado soon.

<v Speaker 5>this to and that isn't gonna call him a liar.

<v Speaker 5>he's afraid of that. I know he's not crazy. I

<v Speaker 5>fear of who he can tell, you know, and getting

<v Speaker 1>And that's a hard issue nowadays, you know, like.

<v Speaker 5>mental issues like that, like problems like that and they
<v Speaker 5>need counseling. So I'm gonna talk to you. I'm glad

<v Speaker 5>not lying. Like I said, anyone else tell me about this,
