He suck you pick questions this week doing the dog things. User name Pulse gives Johnny an avalanche over drive through ten freshly lit tables a day, right, and sh asked a question for all three of you. Are there any wrestlers in either w w W or otherwise that you were convinced we're gonna be stars? Like, no doubt, hall of fame level potential. That's pretty heavy, but they just never made it. Thanks, boys, love the content as always, Well, thank you. That's right. Nice Like w E is what he said? I got any I got he said w f E, but he said or otherwise, So I guess he wasn't really w F like what real era anytime ever of any rest of one the boy who cried Wolf. Yeah, I don't know, man, Mordecai, you thought was going to be a Hall of Fame ballot hall of Fame, Okay, he definitely will be in the Hall of Fame one day, you think, Yeah, I mean, I mean they have just absolutely I mean you could do absolutely nothing in the w B first in the Hall of Fame, Yeah, I mean they're all first ballance. What means there's no actual ballance in this Can we get it this year? In what order? Did they say hopefully? They don't say? No, yeah, that's actually it? What about what about Al Snow? Oh? Yeah? Is he gonna be? Is he a god? Damn? He has to go into the Hall of Fame? Yeah? Everyone does. Yeah, I mean this is a different question that it was asked, question will this guy go to the Hall of favor? Not who will? The question was is there anyone we expected to get to that level? We were favorite guy? And then do you think with this guy going on or not? A better question? I like that you think Valvinis goes in? I don't think so. Actually, yeah, probably not. He probably fund that up, but before he went crazy, he probably would have. Right, what do you think the porn stars gimmick was too much? Yeah? I know because he was still rocking in was O two? O three? I don't. I don't know if I have anybody? Yes, sorry, we like change your question. A whole different questions. But Jackson, we'll go in a big show a steel because had a velocity. He cut his hair for it, and he should go. Yeah, maybe he should. Yeah, man man Man's a man for all of them. Yeah, we've got a tough enough one winner. Uh probably should have been a Hall of Famer. We got the good ending. Yeah, that's good. We did it. That's what we do here. We come back around. You know us. Your name Dan reichert asks, Johnny. Are you ware that mcgruber stars, Kine, Mark, Henry m v P, Chris Jergo the big show in the Great Colleague? Is that right? Yes? I fucking knew that. Are they on the or something? No, they're just in Owen Wilson. I don't think that. God, I don't think. I don't know. Wilson was always what I think is, I think they're virtually identical. Tony could McGowen Wilson, Well, of course if the budget was a little higher. There's a thread here that says, I always just assumed it must have been Owen Wilson who played Bru just random. Uh, yeah, they are all in that, All those guys are in that. Does that make one of these stars of the movie, And you know, Tony, that's a good way to they're definitely not stars there. Maybe they're stars in the movie the future Hall of Famers stars. Well, there's stars who are in a movie that's all these guys wi going the Hall of Fame. He did, he did a guest host on Raw Dinny guestsos on SmackDown too, or he showed up in the crowd that was not They blew him up. Username sold my soul for Sawrey DPW Women's Championship run asks genuine question for James any update on your wrestling training. I know the shoulder injury put a big pause on it, but I was curious if it ever got any better, or if you got back in the training or ever planned to. This is a multi layered question. Yeah it is, and uh, it's a question that I read a lot, and I wish I could answer every single person and that that asked it, because I I think it's very cool that people still care about that. Yeah, you know, I mean that's very cool. But no, I mean my shoulder. My shoulder is better now, Like I have range of motion that could go above my head, which is nice. That took a while. Yeah, it took like over a year for me to get complete range of motion. At least I don't even have like full range of motion compared to my left arm, but I do have it above my head on my right arm. But no, I haven't been training in a while. I mean Cozone always messes me and he's like, hey, you need to come back to trade. I'm trying to see him wrestling Tuesday night. But no, I haven't been in a while. Man, I've I've gotten really out of shape. Yeah, my shoulders fucked up. I probably had to do a couple of steps before I get back into the ring. Like I used to get blown up quite a bit just doing like drills and stuff, and I can't. I'd probably die right now. And that was when you were like fucking chiseled. Yeah that was way back then. Yeah, like over a year and a half. Maybe it's just not easy. No, but I mean I don't I'm not going right off and say no, I'm never gonna do it, but like right now, no, I probably have a health risk get in the ring right now, to be completely honest with you. But maybe in the future sometime, But right now, no, I haven't been training in a while, and it's not something that I probably do in the in the near future. Sadly, you were also quite possibly one of the busiest people in the world. Yeah, I mean that's also true, but it's hard Bro. This is a crazy question here, Mike in the crazy name Mike Tyson into Jerry headlining cyber Slam two thousand asks. I don't know that was a real thing. What's the closest each of you has been to dying? Now, this is not this is like accidental. That's all different question. Do you did you have a point where like, like because I almost drowned? Do you? Yeah? I did? We tell yours? Oh well, when I was a kid, I used to do dumb as ship, you know, roller blade and a bunch of crazy shit. A couple of times I fucking landed on my head on concrete, which is gnarly. Well, no, I ball ship, you know, roller blades off a ramp onto jam of basketball and then fucking ate it and fell back. That sounds awesome. Yeah, look I bet it looks sweet. But there was no cell phones or any thing back then, so no one knows it even happened. Yeah, suh. The other time I was roller but and then I ran into like a rope kind of thing, like by accident. Yeah, got legit clothes on. Wow, had to go to the hospital because I like got knocked out. It was whoa, So you can cuss a few times then probably, Yeah, I think so. When I was a kid, Yeah, I used to a bunch of dumb ship used to do before like two thousand and eight. They never even tested for concussion. Yeah, it doesn't exist. They smelled, just some smelling sal let's get back up in the game, kid or some of you back in you know that. That's all I can think of, is that. Yeah, Pop two, I'd be and go to lunch and get pizza and milk. That's horrible. That's worse than you can cuss pizza, milk milk form go to a recess, you can cuss. Now you gotta shoot your pants. Probably the worst lunch to a chocolate milk pizza. Someone's throwing a full thing a cart across the lunch room, just fucking chocol milk everywhere in the air, dude, because everyone's in high school. I had third lunch and then I had double early release, so I just got to leave, like right away. It was crazy, your school let you leave for lunch, Tony. No they didn't. Justice No, yeah I'm saying, but I had an RBS and a pizza in my school, like for lunch. What, Oh, that's nice. Wow. It was fucking crazy. Wow, barely had classes. We got a beat. I had roast beef and hawaiied punch for months on heads. That was my old We had metal detectors. It was a wawless land. Like it's crazy because, like I guess because I lived in a smaller town. So like I mean literally you go to the parking lot for the students and there's a fence and then right across the street, dude sold drugs right there, right right there. Yeah, wow, because that was just how it was. That's insane. Yeah. Classes. There was no middlemen in my school, James. There was just everyone in the school sold the drugs. I mean for the kids, or you can just go across the street. Most of mine have to do with water because I grew up like my dad was a he worked at a mill. I was at a mill for all lot. I watched a lot of people and must die regularly. Yeah, it was like a woodmill and my dad usually help, yeah with my granddad and push them. Well, dude, people people were reckless and they go to sleepers. We're working long hours, you know, and like they're working in a woodmill where they're popping these trees up and ship. Yeah. It was scary at yeah, but there was that. But me personally, there was one time where I was in the ocean and my foot got locked in the sand. Uh ohh yeah it was. It was probably one of the scariest moments I had to be fifteen. Oh okay, fourteen wow. Yeah, it kind of that summer kind of changed my life. So fifteen foot got locked in the sand. We were out in the ocean. It was like when the tide came back, so you know, a wave was was about to go and I guess like my foot got caught in the sand when the tide came back. Yeah, And I was like, oh fuck, I can't like move. Then I fucking turned around to look at my friend. I'm like, hey man, I can't move. And then like I when I turned around, a wave hit me from behind. Oh fucking knocked me over, broke my ankle all the way up to my knee. Like it broke it broke my entire my ankle fractured up to my knee and and now I'm drowning and I can't and I can't stand up. I can't. I couldn't stand up. Yeah, I couldn't stand up. I couldn't swim, I couldn't do anything. I said. So I'm just sitting there just like taking on water and water and I can't get my head above the water. I'm like wow, like I that's the only thing, is the only time in my life where I legit was like, wow, I'm dead and I knew you felt that comm yeah, yeah, And I knew I was dead, And I was like, wow, this is pretty crazy because like, yeah, it was like we went on like a summer vacation to the well, like the beaches on like an hour away. It was kiddie hawk, but that's still a vacation. Yeah, dude fucking steam rolled me from behind broke. I didn't know I broke my ankle. I just know I couldn't stand up. I was like, wow, this must be like a crazy career. I couldn't stand up. The waves can't hit me, and they kept hitting me, and I'm fucking I'm drowning. And my friend doesn't know that like what happened, Like yeah, he just knows that I hit by the wave. He's like, oh shit, you probably got destroyed by the wave, you know. And I'm like I'm not coming up. I'm not coming up. I'm not coming up. And eventually, like I just get hit enough times that it's pushing me literally towards the shore, so where soon enough, my head's not below water anymore. And I was like, hey, man, I fucking I can't stand up. I'm dying. I think what Yeah, and like they had to, like they helped me off the beach and yeah, we went to the hospital and whatever, and they're like, yeah, dude, you fucking fractured three points of your ankle all the way up to your knee. I said, wow. They're like, you're lucky, like this ship's still on. I was like, wow, okay, thankfully I was enough to where like, you know, I don't even I was like a second away from getting surgery. They're like, this might They were like, you know, because I don't know at the time, I don't know if we had insurance or anything. So they're like, you might be able to just you know, put you in a cast. I wasn't a boot for I don't even know. It was forever. I know it lasted the whole summer, and that was in the boot back in school, So it was like I was in a boot. Do you have any like, do you have any issues with like your knee now because of that or or you feel like you do. I sometimes I can't walk very long without like my foot, like my it's my left foot. But I sometimes it just it just tires out quicker. I don't know it. Yeah, I guess that's fair. But yeah, that was That was one of them. One time I fell off a dock playing a game Boy when I was like eight, because we were out fishing, and my Dad's like, hey, no I was eight, watch out for the you know, watch out you're on the dock. And I was like, yeah, whatever, you don't play you want to. So I was just walking in circles on the dock and I fall off the dock and I hit my head off the side of the dock when I fell off. Holy yeah. And then my dad had jump in and saved me. Dude, game Boy sticking. More important question? Crazy? What color was it? It was the seat through purple one. That's the that was reliable right there. Kidding me, my goddamn hurricane man, that was the real ship. Wow. Those are the ones that I remember the most. I think I think I only remember one. I was super young. I was at like my cousin's house in Jersey. They had like a pool party. It was just you know, a big like summer fucking family party or whatever. And uh, I was super young. I hadn't like been like five or six. It's one of my earliest memories because it dramatized and I was in the water thrown it up, know the ex but no, yes, so I was in the I remember being in the pool. I remember my parents were like chilling, hanging out and like probably fucking drinking or whatever, and I'm swimming. I swear I had like these little floaty gimmicks on my arms, but I don't know if I took them off or if maybe I just didn't have them on. But I remember starting to swim this thing into like the yes, that's right, sorry it was it was a pool at my cousin's house. Yeah, And I'm swimming from like the you know, the into the deeper end because I was like, you know, I'm gonna fucking give this a go. I'm very little, very little, but I remember thinking maybe not maybe not even but I was, you know, a little little diamand fucker, so like it seemed like you know, the biggest adventure ever. So I was like, oh, everyone's and everyone else is down that end and I'm on my own end with one of my cousins and I'm like this this cousin. I'm saying this. I'm five this cousin. So I started swimming towards the other end and I see somebody and they're like waving me on, which probably was not a good idea to wave me on. And then all of a sudden, I remember just sinking, like immediately. I don't know what happened because I was on a roll, because I just remember submerging and I'm just underwater and I'm sinking, and I like, I vividly remember freaking the fuck out because I don't think I understood like what death was, but I felt whatever this was was bad that was being sung to me by my family. Yeah, so I'm seeing like eight people up there looking down at you in the water. I remember being able to look up and seeing like people start to move towards the pool. But like, again, I was young, and I guess I just didn't understand, but I just knew this sucked. And then I think my dad had to dive in, like fully closed always get me. Yeah that's my fucking dude. But you had to dive in at me. But yeah, like you know, if they were like just chilling, I probably would have died, that would You're right, if they weren't looking at the pool or whatever. Dude, Yeah, I mean it was a party, like you have a tintive parents. It was a party with like music going and ship like yeah like and then like I was able to like wiggle around and make a bunch of splashes. I just sunk. Yeah, yeah, damn. Yeah, that was scariest, dude. I was just I was a little idiot when I was kid. Like. I was also probably doing the same ship Tony was doing. Like I definitely wasn't using rollerblades Tony, but I definitely got hurt a lot with the razor scooter ramping off the based. Yeah dude, they still sell those. I don't know. If I used to go into Walmart super late at night we around with those. It were fucking awesome. I cracked so many people's ankles, including my own kids are fucked up for like, yeah, dude, hopscotching it, you know what I mean, Like exactly if you want to count if you weren't count the times on like you know, falling on a skateboard and blacking out or like sure that wasn't like yeah, I don't know if that's near death or anything. Sure, or being on the trampoline and like, oh, you're gonna die with the net up. I'm telling y'all, man, the net was crazy. We put the net up so you could fucking pounce the ship out of the dudes. Yeah, so that was Wow, that's crazy, dude. Yeah, you're fucking breaking your entire leg story kind of trump mind, I should have went sooner stories around, just come back to mine. Here's his fucking well yeah, I mean it's only because of the age difference, Like if you were fifteen when it happened. Well, if you're fifteen and you're attack Fop and brown, that's what. Well that was my next story, man, Sorry, he shuddered. Both of his eggs was twice at the same time. Yeah, dude, short beat the ship out of me streets killing me the street. But yeah, two more questions before around here, I smoked some fetanyls James sold me. Now I think I'm black Snow. Please help me on black Snow asks, Hey, James fellow redhead here, how do you get those fubes? Black bro hit puberty? Yeah, that's how it works. Yeah you had second Yeah he has second puberty. And yeah, so you take it that next level, you'll get this promise he was eight. Yeah, get it right. Maybe maybe it's if you had to have a near death experience and then after that change. Yeah. Yeah, okay, well there he goes. Good good answer. Last question Nathan ben Waugh. I asked, have any of the he's actually passed out or gotten sick from laughing too hard on the podcast. I've thrown up in my mouth. It's come dude. I I may have. I don't. I feel like I have. I've definitely, that's just it was just during the show during period. I I definitely I vividly remember during the Austin Cane, fuck you Cane thing. I vividly remember laughing so hard that like stuff started to not look right in my eyes, like very badly. You can see it on the show because I got the cave. We're like, oh there was Yeah. I remember once I vividly James blacked out and I was like, I don't know what just happened? He said, said you're like, wait, I think that was a real condition I was from that. That was one of the supposest was dudes, the Austin Kane one and the Austin k one. I paviably remember feeling like that for and the Postumania one. I think I also very close came to passing out. Yeah, far on camera sometimes James farts all the time off camera and dork Joe too. Just get that out. I remember one time put in like a lad. I remember you like, what was that? Nothing? Less even do what it was about? I go to it. I think you asked me like did you put that in? Where did that go? Bro? I didn't hear that during the show me when I parted about to get that next level get greg P. I think I've choked out of water a couple of times, like as you're saying something then almost appreciate with me. I think I spit drink all over the place one episode. I remember that, yeah, miss Elizabeth Lyne or something. I remember it was like it was forever ago. I just remember being like, oh ship, Yeah, there's there's definitely more. There's probably a lot more than I don't remember. Of those where like I felt because it happens a lot. Because I hang on these two funny bastards. It's hard not to like and respite of my wife, Like, yeah, I'm tired because I just recorded the podcast. Like what you talk about? You you don't even Yeah, you don't throw up in your mouth at fart off game. You don't understand telling James is going into his puberty and it's just a lot for us to deal with right now. Yeah, it's like, you know, yeah, come on, sorry, I didn't learn. I was thinking about what I don't have the word got about that throw in my mouth? I'm dying. What's the closest you've been dying every day? My mouth? Because I don't take care of myself. Every day of my life, I throw up in my mouth. I do my best not to drown. I'm gonna keep my phonies on. I'm thirty thirty years of age. Oh yeah, that is it for this week's Okay, we did it. I was a questions. Good that the selected questions j Jim, It doesn't matter. They were definitely better. Thank you so much. They're always good. And you're an asshole. It's all right. You're just going to very close to ovulation. All right, now it's time to get into TNA Impact June twenty fourth. Yes, this is the first online edition of TNA Impact because they got no TV and let's find out all about what was going on with TNA's TV deal situation with the Wrestling Observer, Oh newsletter. Yeah, that's pretty much what I got here all this week. I went back and tried to find kind of like the beginning of what's happened here and what happened throughout and all the other good because it is not online anywhere. I tried to look at this up and can find anyone. No, it's weird. It's weird. It's kind of all over the place. But we'll try to do Wikipedia. They skip it, they don't even mention it. No. I did look at Wiki, Tony, and yeah, it's a very like it's two lines of what happens the Observer, May ninth, two thousand and five. And update on the television situation is this TNA and FSN Fox Sports Network were very close on a deal last week when the one year contract expires in just a few weeks, so Fox Sports and that was what TNA was on at the time. It is now questionable whether FSN will sign with them or TNA will sign with them. Nevertheless, FICON insisted on a minimum six month contract, while TNA only wanted to make a month by month commitment. WGN and Spike are still in the running for TNA for whatever it's worth. TNA officials are convinced Spike wants a wrestling show because it knows UFC, which they are bullish on, works better in conjunction with wrestling, no matter what they say publicly, and if they want wrestling, they believe there's no other option. In addition, Spike continues talks with them, and there's another meeting schedule. So that was May ninth, and what this shows? What June twenty fourth, Yeah, June twenty four so yeah, so like I'm over more than a month before. They have no idea what they're doing TV wise, So observer May sixteenth, two thousand and five, just in TNA talks here. In addition, there has been more talk about after the TV's in June, the company going dark for a few months and picking up a new TV station to get out of the deal with Fox Sports Network, where the company pays thirty thousand dollars per week for time. I don't know if I realized that that they were paying for the show, paying thirty thousand dollars a week for Fox Sports Yes, okay observer. May twenty third, two thousand and five, Teena's television deal with Fox Sports Net expires when with the shows on five twenty eight and five to twenty nine, and FSN wouldn't agree to a renewal term of less than six months. It is not definite when WGN can cleared scheduled to debut the new Monday show, but there is a possibility to schedule five thirty one impact tapings could be canceled if the WGN deal is inked. The current plan will be go live for two hours from Orlando every other Monday. To save on transportation costs, there would be a Tuesday night taping for the following Monday. So it's a similar schedule for that Raw did for several years before became a live weekly show. There are internal forces who want to do the show live every week, so this is not a final scenario. So in two thousand and five they were wanting to do a two hour show on Mondays on WGN. TENA struggled with this TEENA struggled with what would take them to the next level pretty much until they stop having the option to worry about it. And it was always this right, just it was always we had to compete with raw, we have to go yeah, we have to go live, or we have to go to two hours, or we have to go to Mondays or all that. Yeah, it's like they kept coming up with new things instead of because I believe in two thousand and nine they ended up becoming profitable, which is, you know, for a wrestling company, that's huge. I understand that they had to shoot for the stars, but they ended up stranded in space instead of any chore in that regard. It's a fucking ball away to put it like that. The Observer June sixty, thousand and five. With no current TV outlet, the five thirty one taping in Orlando was canceled from The Observer June thirteen, two thousand and five, and A remains in a holding pattern this week with no television deal. They still have a pay per views scheduled for six' one nine and have what you mean and with the radio advertising six nineteen of the radio advertising for the show to make up for the loss of television. Much of what has happened has secretive all week. Sources very close to the negotiation between TNA and WGN for an eight to ten pm Eastern timeslot on the superstation version of WGN early last week indicated talks were continuing and they were still open at press time. There was hope something would break towards the end of the week, if not next week, but with every day that goes by, it becomes more of a question mark. It is not exactly clear what the snags are other than they are significant. There is also possibility of the show being only one hour instead of two, which would be a WGN decision, not a TNA decision. From The Observer, June twentieth, twenty five, the mood amongst most in TNA, although not all, plummeted this past week when word got out that WGN officials had publicly admitted negotiations for the much talked about Monday night timeslot were over without a deal. Yeah. Company sources are portraying it as they pulled out because of a better outside deal that would most likely be rumored negotiations with Spike TV, which would be for Saturday nights starting after WWE leaves the network in late September. The WGN deal is believed to have all apart because TNA wanted WGN to help pay production costs for doing a live show, whether it be for one or two hours. It is believed WGN had no interest in paying for a pro wrestling programming after spending huge money on major syndication properties. That's fucking rut. Everybody loves Raymond, We're not getting impact. King Queens is coming on, Vince the fuck it. We need friends, we need to watch friends. So here's a little ROH thing for you here. James Samojoe signed a TNA contract on June fourteenth. Provisions of the agreement with TNA is that they can't pull him from Roh and that he can do potential New Japan tours in an effort to get an internet buzz on the show. And while that is better than nothing, Meltzer says, I'm not sure what that really means. But TNA wanted to book Cmpunk versus Simojo at Slammiversary, coming off the buzz from their Match of the Year high placing Last You're in Chicago. However, Punk turned it down because of the WWE offer. Joe was leaning towards turning it down, but it is now scheduled that he will face Sunjay DUTs in his TNA debut. Punk kind of upset some people in TNA by saying he wasn't going to come in and work with Joe. Well, I guess maybe confused and pissed off. I guess it's kind of what happened here. Because he said he wasn't going to come into TNA and work with Joe because they weren't going to let him and Joe go forty five minutes. The reaction was good luck in your five minute matches on Velocity. Well, sadly, I mean he probably didn't have a couple of those, but uh, he'd be just incredible as he slacks the shit more and killed the bush. Well, that's you know, they respected what they were doing at ROH. They respected their future, you did, and uh, they weren't going to push on that. It's the same reason that Roddy and Aries also said fuck TNA and decided not to when they had the snowstorm. You know, I was like, what a pivotal moment that was too? Yeah, it was huge, that was like yeah, yeah, having guys that believed in what they were doing was very important to our I image and them. Yeah, yeah, and they were I think that's very cool, you know what I mean, Like that is fucking is right, Like, yeah, I'm sure they would love to have this match because the internet people would be like, oh cool, they're gonna do it again. But then it's like eight and it's like, what is this? You know yet James and we're all all three of us are on the boards. What the fu? Dude? Imagine what would have happened. They're like, okay, fine it go forty five? What fu it was? Okay, that's a good point, Tody. I don't know what the reaction of that would have been overall for wrestling fans, like we probably be Like I said, they would have got the industry by every over forty dude there. They would have jumped them in the locker room, yeah dude, Yeah, they would have brought Kevin. Kevin Nashing has slapped Joe Early. This will make this is from Scott and you don't need to understand it right now. That would have been pretty fucking nuts. Joe and Johan punk Cold on Slammiversary and both their debuts for forty minutes. I mean that's they just want like the next chapter in their feud, and everyone's like, okay, yeah, what the fuck? Yeah that would have been awesome. Everyone's time would have been They probably have sent somebody out there, crazy d ray three thousand, trying to stop this. I guess, like, yeah, Jeff jarld have said forty five I don't even get forty five minutes. I own the company. I can't win the title, and it's my company. What the fuck? Rayvend speaking in tongues over here, dude, Raymond, raymondus the promo that Johnny doesn't even run around the last thing here in the Observer, the company announce at Slim Aniversary would still be doing television during the interim time. It appears they will tape once per month, doing four shows after every pay per view to save on trends, making for long evenings. Uh so, yeah, they're doing the four show a month thing just in for so, I guess it says they're doing they're taping once per month. So yeah, I guess one day, four shows and to save on trends after every paper pay per view and then a tea day after. Yeah, I think so, so probably like, uh yeah right, but t A does that now, but twice a month, so it's like that's an r A schedule. But r OH would sell them as full events, yeah, and then turn them into then they had four DVDs a month. Yeah, that's fucking but it's not like they were releasing no yeah later. But yeah, they would do that to save on trends making long match, to save time. They did seven and a half hours of interview pre tapes the day before, and none of those interviews appeared in front of the people in Orlando. Meltzer says, we didn't hear much about the interviews other than James Mitchell was very impressive. The shows will be filled used to fulfill overseas deals. Will air in the US late on Friday nights on Sun Sports, which is like a pay for channel. I think it's like a premium channel, and be broadcast on the internet every Friday for free. Meltzer says it's better than nothing, but any fan who is going to watch the show on the internet has probably already made up their mind if they're buying the pay per views, and you aren't going to make new fans this way. So yeah, So That is where we're at right now, is that we are at the very first webcast edition of TEENA Impact, which coming off Slavery, coming off of Slammiversary, which has got to be got to be kind of moralizing. Yeah, pretty demoralizing. Did you watch this at the time. I don't remember. I didn't like watch it live or I didn't download it on Real Players live at the time. Sure, but I knew of it and I saw it. Yeah, yeah, Tony, did you I think I watched it a lot live, maybe, I remember I remember a pain in the ass to trying to get it to work. I remember, like, what the fuck is going like trying to get real player to string because it was live streamed on real Play. It was like yeah, it was like there was a download version. Yeah, well mine wasn't really doing much better. But I was like, I'm watching this show. This is awesome. It's got delirious on it. I was like, I'm watching this show. So yeah, it was. It was like a It was kind of like an RCMP thing, I think, Tony, where you like, if you're into real Player. Yeah, it was fucking crazy because I remember like that was like the very early live stream. It's like crazy to think that YouTube on BLC right now? Yeah, that's right. Yeah. Yeah. And also, uh, this is part of it that I didn't realize because I guess I didn't start getting into this until either here around this time or right after this. But they also offered these shows on bit Torrent. Oh really okay? They Yeah that Tina began to offer new episodes to their website, first using bit torn downloads, then by streaming through real player, which is crazy. They should put that show on LimeWire. Yeah, dude, Kaza DNA episodes us. Yeah, so that is where we're at right now. Tena is off of Slammiversary, just lost their TV deal and are I believe I believe their Spike deal doesn't start until October, so there's yeah, yeah, like four months away from getting on Spike. All I knew was TNA is dead. They're done. This is it for them, They're over. I imagine that's what a lot of people thought, Tony. Yeah, yeah, people say that every year for the past twenty years. For real. This was just a speedbump for them. But yeah, I was like, fuck it. I didn't know about the SPIKEDV deal yet, you know, I was like, oh, that's it. Watch. Yeah, sure you know what's gonna happen. Sure, but yeah, so that is where we're at right now. Now it's time to talk about TENA Impact June twenty four, two and five, the first show on the Internet. All right, so we start with a code open here Slammer versary recap of what just happened on this pay per view in a PowerPoint presentation. It feels like this was the last second thing that they said, Jeremy more Ash, we need you to just record something real quick because it sounds like he's doing it on like those old desktop like white boom, sound like ship. Yeah, I mean it probably is the Gateway computer long stick mic gateway. I was trying to think of what it was. The long boy with the bass had a shaft. You can talk with people on the internet playing games, and so with that, I thought it was so fucking funny. Well, yeah, I was on MSN going crazy. It was awesome. That was awesome. I definitely had one of those me too, Dude. I I didn't even like I'm just working around with it. I'm holding it most of the I was slinging the ship around, carrying around my house. Look at this thing, a picture of it. Holy ship, this is right here. This Yeah, dude, that ship was awesome with the shaft I detached from the stick around. Maybe it wasn't supposed to detach and you're holding it. You're all told you no good. This was me. I was asking you to hear me. God. So yeah, JB goes over what happened at the anniversary Long story short Samoa Joe debuted and Raven is the n w A champion winning and the King of the Mountain match, which he wasn't supposed to be in, which is right, a whole story of its own. I don't know. I guess we could talk about that here if you'd like. Yeah, yeah, just talking about Larry's Abisco. Well Roads is out right. He's not the director of not only Out Tony, he shoot Out. He's fired. They can't. Hey, this guy at all is fucking done. I ain't making no internet show. That's really don't work on the internet. That maybe one of my thumbs, maybe one of my thumbs will do that internet booth bit. Larry's a Fisco has taken control of today. Jeff Jarrett is pissed, and he took Jeff Jarrett out of the King of the Mountain match because he attacked a fucking fan and was kicked out of the show. Yeah, so Sopiscoe announced that Dzer was out of director of Authority, which is also I like that term director of authority. It's not like it doesn't really mean anything, but it sounds cool. Yeah, Dusty made that up. Yeah, and Raven showed up and slapped Jared, and then Jared got pissed, attacked a Jeff Hardy fan at ringside, brought him over the guardrail stomped him out, which prompted the what Jeremy Boris describes as Orlando's finest to show up, which just looked like the Harris Brothers to me. That's very strange. Then Raven was put into the King of the Mountain match at the pay per view, which, by the way, looks awesome. Have we watched that match. It's weird to see King of the Mountain without Jared though, like I always assume he's in every one of those mets. Well, Tony, there is something to that, I'm sure himself. Yeah, I make the same. So on screen it was because he attached, you could, so on screen he got taken out of the match because he beat up a fan of rings side off screen. He refused to be in the King of the Mountain match because he said it was his match and he wasn't winning, so he didn't want to be in it. What a mark. Hell yeah, his company and his match in my world, it's my match. How many other been one? Okay, it's his nickname, Tody one match Mountain? Come on, how can King of the Mountain Jeff Jarrett lose the King of the Mountain match to something else? Dude? They called me mister in the bank and better win one of those. It's called tradition and honor, all right, you know, love it and I make the same. Yeah, my title, my company, my match, my world. Well somehow he he was not in the match, James, he taken out of it and Raven was placed and people were unhappy about this situation. So yeah, Raven won the King of the Mountain and the n w A World title, leading his decity by coming back to TENA when Jared just let him it was the most over guy in the vicinity when they needed to make this decision. Uh yeah, there's the code open and now from stage twenty one total No stop action, right, But I love him. I always remember and now I love dude that brings the fields man a Friday at noon or whatever, watching that Fox Sports show, watching it at one on my real player called them that it's cool and ship it's dope, man, I'm watching him, my boy over Emerson. You holcome, Joe, study the fucking match. It's collectively I'm hitting the nudge bud constantly, my whole screet shake. Yeah, that's awesome. You know this is also this opening match. We kick it off with Michael Shane with Tracy Brooks versus James Wow track fanin give it all you guys. Michael, Hey, Michael Shane's because of Sean Michaels. I know if you do that, know that, how is that possible? Did you know that? I didn't know if you knew that? That is gimmick. He was trained by Seat Michaels. You know that. Why isn't his last name Michaels. Then his Thursday is Michaels. First, his name is Michael Shane, as in Michaels, Michael Michaels, Hayne. Some said they work on that one. You had James Storm being a cowboy. Cowboy dude, I like, I wish she had the guns. That's what guns with the cat shoot them for real. That was awesome. Tracy Brooks do a complete smoke show. She looks absolutely stunning here and now she's she's in the TNA Hall of Fame. I believe Oh dude, I thought you were making a joke. No, that's right, no joke. Yeah, I thought you were saying she was the first ballot. She was. Yeah, she was a manager for like four hundred people in the show. Hell yeah, she should be in the Hall of Fame. And dude, if you can believe it, TNA No Sacrifice is Saturday, July seventeenth. Dude, when CNA sacrifice sacrifice? Good? Yeah? Yeah, No Surrender might be soon too. I don't know what that is. I want to surrender. Well, I'll tell you this much. This guy, this match is awesome. These guys both do super kicks, and that's the story of the matches that they is awesome. I love. That's entire Yeah, and Chris Harris is out here with James Storm, by the way, first bull in the Hall of Famer. In my eyes, everyone should be everyone's eyes, by the way, that's true. Thank you. I agree, he's your handcuffs. I guess that's you know, because they find the defendants guilty. Yeah, that's what's commentary. He's out there with those handcuffs. He brings them out here. Every time I was like super Ship like today's Swayne Guvman, it was like they both do superkicks and Dons got like pisses, like that's I was gonna say that the I was gonna say that they both done. Dude, I wrote down fucking Don Harris instead of Don West. I apologize. Yeah, they're not going into the Hall of Fame the second ballot. I sacrifice Ship. I'm making a sacrifice. Well, yeah, Don West says this is the battle of superkicks, two of the best super kicks in the business. Uh yeah, that's the whole story of the match. And Samo Joe debuts Slam Niversary. That's a big deal. They're talking about it in the earlier matches to it. Pretty We have Michael Shane here, who is a heel because you know he's a heel because he I pokes James Storm immediately in the colin. Yeah, just I pokes his ship out of him. James Storm tries to do it move off the top rope, but Tracy Brooks crotches him up there, and Michael Shane hits the mustache ride. Damn. I wasn't gonna say that. We can't take it back. We can. You don't get top anymore. I don't need to call it. I think the hurricane used it. When a hurricane called it, ship, it was probably called the mustache d somebody else definitely had to do that, right, I gotta look it up. Figure No, but what do you call it? Super swinging neck breaker is what he would call it. Well, that is what it was. Yeah, yeah, you're right, super swinging neckbreaker. Okay, yeah, he hit the super swinging neck breaker off the top. So Chris Harris grabs Tracy Brooks and he has the handcuffs and he has those a lot all the time. Actually that's what he's hand He is the handcuffman and handcuffs people. Chris Harris goes to handcuff Tracy Brooks because she interfered in the match. And then Michael's Haynes comes out and Chris Harris punches his ass all the way back to Texas. Go ahead and get on out of here, And which is not a disqualification. James, Rudy Charles. You know he's not gonna throw the Battle of the Super Kicks, a big match like this just because some bullshit on the outside. He just throws out Tracy and Chris. Harris, you get the fuck out of here. Yeah, but these people get ejected. They both go up their respective ramps. That is awesome. Yeah, it's cool. You could tell which one's bad because it's red. So we come back from commercial birth. Is that real? I'm pretty sure the blue side was the face side and they all really I never even noticed that, James. You might have just uncovered something no one's ever known. But I don't know if that's true. Yeah, I never noticed that. Yeah, I don't know if that's true or not, but it seems like it. I like it. I like the idea of that. I think it was probably more red and blue corner. But you know, no, chuch, No, that's good. So anyways, we come back from commercial break. Michael shan hair toosses commercial break player. Yeah that's right. Well he get back and the States a rollatically. Yeah. This match so much more time than I assumed it was gonna get me. Dude. I was like I couldn't believe it went more than four. Me too, I thought it was gonna be a one seg. I didn't even think it was gonna go any further than that. Dude to the front row is about to fall asleep. Dr Michael Shane's James Storm starts to come back with a this is a cowboy, by the way, a back body drop. He skins the cat and then Rana. Now the skin the cat was not like he got thrown over the top. This was after an irish. He just went whoa, he just went over. He said, I'm gonna do this. Tracy Brooks and Alex Shelley are talking at the top of the ramp, and as as they're talking, James Storm hits the wharlely bird. Depending on which commentator you asking, was the wharlely bird or the r of the storm fucking like audibly laugh. But he said, that's the worly bird. That's awesome. So yeah, I a storm and James Storm is distracted by this uh and sashing at the top of the ramp, very far away from it. How far away it has nothing to do. No, Tracy's not even his girl. Tracy has nothing to do with James Storm, but they're scheming and it doesn't he doesn't like it. He's not it on the conversations, like what do you got to talk about? What you're talking about? If this is the whorlely Bird of the eye of the Storm, it's the Storm. Oh sorry, I said, James Storm is distracted Shane of course is his patented shitty clothesline for to uh Ja Storm puts the cowboy add on, of course, because I forgot this is a haha match, So well he's a cowboy. Well, yeah, I saw that when he skinned the cat and then so James Storm was and it's a spinning reverse DDT off the second That could also be the whirlybird. That move is awesome. That is now and forever the worllybird, because I don't know what else to call it. Yeah, that is that's a good name for that. That one should be the worly bird. That's their Ali. Shelley is run down here. He saw that movement, thought was awesome, so he ran down here on the apron and James Storm then sends Michaels Hayne over him. Uh somehow it was supposed to I guess it was. Yeah, I don't even know how this worked. I guess maybe he was going for a back body and he just kind of just took it. Yeah, I guess consider how the Michael Michaels hand excuse me got into this situation where James Storm was able to throw him from a standing position over his head. He's going for the famous or maybe oh sure, maybe, I don't know. Anyways, he throws him over and me hits the raff and Shelley. James Storm then hits the whorly Bird. That does this guy do so many moves that could be the Whirlybird and they know all of the names or none of the names. He should try to kill Mickey James literae Will Shelley was telling them about the apes that would say you don't kill Vickey James. He's like, what Alex Jay's Storm hits the worthy Bird, the ref is down. James Storm super kicks Alex Shelley's stomach. Okay, I think Shelley jumped off the top rope. Yeah, okay, onto the scene right and then and it's super kick at the belly, Superkid to the belly. This guy is known for his superkick birds. I don't know Yeah. Anyways, Michael Shane then superkicks James Storm. He wins the match, So he's the fucking master of the superkick. Chris Harris, What was he up to? Chris Harris? Run, well, he comes back down, he hits the ring, but Michael Shane's already out of the ring, which means Chris Harris isn't able to go after him and kick his as because he already left the ring. Oh yeah, that's true. He went up the other side of the ramp. There's like a barrier, you know, you get stuck there. Yeah, that's just a wrestling big for some reason. Yeah, Alex Shelly and Tracy Brooks are out here for fucking five straight minutes, and Chris Harris said, none of this looks suspicious to be at all. I'll be a minute. Maybe what it is is that there's there's an sonny. He can't come to himself. He found himself guilty. Maybe like there's an Yeah, maybe there is a barrier. Like you said, so Tracy couldn't cross the line, but Alex Shelly could because he didn't get thrown out the idea that no one can cross the line until they say you can cross the line crosses the line nobody could cross. I like it. We go backstage, James Mitchell is talking to Abyss and James Mitchell says, I'm gonna derail your entire You're fucked. You a complete joke, and I'm gonna be the one to take you there. You are one of my leaving dude. They're in the Abyss room, which is always worried. Abyss is with this big ass chain linked cage. Jameson was trying to talk business. I'm down Shames store. It wasn't just me. Jameson is talking this James Storm as a bist. You want to be the NBA champion, That's what I mean. That's true. He's James says, how close did you come and slim Versa become n w A champion? Abyss and a bit sneezes on them. That ship is so crazy? How close you be the champion? He has the most aggressive the title belt pantomime. He was great, He was fucking great, And Mitch just says, you know what's the problem for other men in the with you as amazing off a wrestler as you are, the one thing that you've never gotten is a one on one world title shot and a bis sneezes again on him and he nods his head. Wow, this is the goat man. He's the best. And uh yeah, Jameson says, listen, I could get I could get you that. You know you've never had anyone to handle your the backstage politics, oh brother, or keep that parliament of swine in the championship committee at Bay. You just have to give me the opportunity. Can I have that opportunity? This goes to walk away. James Mitchell grabs his wrist and turns around, and Abyss turns around and goes James mitchrolebooks falls over he like, and James will says, I didn't mean anything by it, but I just need one chance, Abyss, one chance, And then he slowly backs out of the scene, which felt like a minute long of him just saying, just give me one chance, holding one finger up as he backed away. One just give me one chance. I just need one. I just need one chance of this chance. James Mischell with the hair here reminds me of that dude, this is that shul ain't nothing to be man. Oh my god, wow, I was thinking I actually thought it here that I looked at it in the main event or the Wow, this is the most Dracula flood dealer. Yeah, so I can see, and to me, this is still a legendary parod. Don't get me wrong. It is great. And I get why they felt he probably needed a mouthpiece. I don't know. I liked him. I also like that as well. That is true, But you know, I could see that. It's always with arms, you know, I can see it. I can you know, I see both sides of it. But they definitely fucking just jumped the shark with this one, and they never stopped. He just kept jumping and jumping and jumping. They couldn't They could not stop themselves from like digging the hole deeper. Yeah, he shoots. He shoots his mom in the back. James Mitchell's his dad or his dad is also dead. He has a brother. Was like, yeah, James, just dad, but he's also Yeah, his brother retired Sting seven days ago. We watched that. We watched that a couple of we watched a few weeks ago. Yeah, you guys must have missed it. Triple A put out Stings final match and great watch it. This was there somehow, was there? Yeah? He wasn't the king of the mountain. He probably want the king of the mountain. So we go to a pre tape. Mike today is talking to Truth and Conan and the Free Live crew in the ring. Uh, no fans or anything, just like before. Tina, Yeah, Tirina, it's uh, the three of them. But there's also one extra chair. They're all in like director's chairs. I don't know why. Uh, And there's one extra chair. I guess it was in Universal studio. So that's all the chairs they had. There was one extra chair there with nobody in it. And Today, says Truth in Conan, over the past couple of months, we've seen a wild range of emotions. And I look down on the end and see the empty chair, and uh, the word I think of is separation. Beg James, he was invited to this interview and he knows showed what's going on. And Truth says that Beg gave me his word, and fucking word is bond. That's real shit, That's all I got, That's all I gotta say. And Conan says, yo yo yo, let me speak. He says he's gonna keep it real and this hurts. He's a big we don't know where his head's at. You know, I made a mistake at Slammiversary, and I fess up to it. I was going in the business for myself and I got distracted by the Outlaw. But you know our history? What history do you have with the outlaw? Or is he talking about BG James now? I talking about the outlaw? Kip James, Kip James, kid Kim dude speaking of Kip James is here now and waiting. Man in the back? Is that BG James? Oh no, it's it's it's uh well, it's someone wearing a three Live Crew beanie as well as a shirt that says be Jizzle on it. But oddly enough, I'm not too sure that's Beg James. That looks a lot like Monny Brown. Money Brown actually plays a better Beg James than Beg James does. Dude, he's fucking trips Yah. Outlaw comes out and he distracts them. He says, I here, you guys have a bunch of questions. Well, I have all the answers, but of course I don't expect y'all to believe me. But listen to Beg himself. And behind them is Monny Brown in this hole, get a b jizzled shirt, and Minnie Brown does the whole thing. He say, I'm right here, let's kick it. Ladies tell me, boys and girls, oh shit and truth and Conan turned around like what the fuck? And Manni looks at me says, oh you are you not entertained? And they gotta kick his ass. But the Outlaw for those who don't know, Outlaw Kip James cute Kip is Billy Gunn. The Outlaw gets in the ring and fucking him and Monny Brown jump Conane in truth, they stomp him out Outlaw gets something like this is Mike today, go ahead and run off. Let me finish an interview for you. G give it to him, and Monty Brown does the whole fucking thing. Lady, jump boys, girls, just t and a entertainment probably brings to you the two that, if we want to be will be tag Dude Jammans of the world, the alpla mail, Monty Brown, mister, given it to your raw, the Outlaw and screw the two Live Crew, and then they both crossed. Shop dude. Donny Brown has got a chill because he's got to make me a fair to James. Here dude, good at this, He said, mister give it to y'all. Yeah at all. But dude, I was like, wow, is there an is there a fucking Billy gun money Brown tagrum that I don't remember? Wow? That is probably during the internet, right maybe. Yeah. They were like, real player, give him whatever, dude, Yeah, yeah, Monty Brown, go be beg James for a minute, all right, BG James had to come back immediately. He said, I'm a gonna lose my job. Yeah, MONI could do anything and everything they ever wanted to do. Yeah. He Uh, it is insane that he didn't get the title. Absolutely fucking insane to me. Yeah it is. So we go to David Young versus Shark Boy. Dude, my mind could not stop getting blown to smithereens as entrances were happening here, David Young comes out looking good in the trunks. The spine buster got yeah, and then you got shark Boy. He's the gotta waa or up there, he's sharking. Shark Boy is the god of litigation. He's suing motherfuckers. That's his angle right now. Yeah, they legit talk about that commentary suing Shark Boy, Lava girl. Yeah, we've talked about it on the show before, because I think we talked about like maybe the end he did win, that he did fucking win that. But that's like, yeah, he's legit on the show because they wanted to talk about him being in the news suing Shark Boy, Lava Girl, and fucking man. They had an alright, man, like alright, I mean already new Shark Boy is gonna win because you can't spy buster a shark, you stupid son up a bit science. I always I tell you this, I always like this. So cal Val as the timekeeper, she was like a super mark for all the faces she did. The boy. Yeah, I thought that was cool. Yeah, that was awesome. David Young's here and he's a spine bust of God, and if he hits his spine Buster isn't done. That's so Davy Young starts off hot here hitting the Shark Boy with the power slam into a chink, so a little kid in the front road that he does the power slam of the chin log and it cuts a little kid in the front road and he throws that ship up crazy. He's really into the spy busted godkot. I don't know Marty version one. I don't know what they get through. Yeah, sure they are similar. Yeah Young version of one ship so young. It's a kick into a neck breaker combo here and then another chen lock. I said, all he's fucking rocket Perry sad on the heat type beat. I would have horrifically injured this man by now this boy head first in the middle road, got another lass is buddy, So this is where they are. They talk about Shark boys ongoing lawsuit and uh yeah, Shark Boy actually wins a good amount of money settles, I think on this one. So I think. Yeah. They say MTV dot com is reporting the legal battle he has with Shark Boy and Lava Girl, and Don says, Shark Boy feels like the name is his. He's got a copyrighted Look at the Shark Boy has a fucking copyrights. So David Young goes for a springboard, but Shark Boy drop kicks him. Maybe Young has no right, dudes for you stay on the ground, are you kidding? Oh man? Yeah? All right, So Shark Boy gives him ten in the corner with the shark bite. Beast always pop for that. Yeah, that's awesome. David Dungan vents a move, dude, what was this? He don't know. He's the god of his fine. He has like a spine buster into a gut buster. It was like he was comboing moves. He just kind of he was mashing X and square and comboing or something like that. It was like, yeah, he caught him in a fucking it was like a black hole slim. But then he spun him around into like a face plant. I said, yeah, what the fuck. I don't know what god or whatever this was. He I promise you that it was a whirly bird shark suit. Everybody out here, he's so shark boy goes to the deep sea drop and uh, he didn't rolls up David Young and wins. Yeah. Yeah, he went forward. David countered, David went for a clothes line, struck, rolled him up, and he beat him. He beat his ass because because he couldn't do this spinebuster. I mean, that's really what it was. Instead he hit the fucking whirly bird he did. Is this fucking move, dude? There's a move here that I was like, Wow, that was crazy, And there's a move later maybe in the main event that I was like, what is there's two moves that I've never seen before this show. Yeah, for sure. So we go backstage. Jeff Jarrett is yelling Larry's Abisco is yelling my some of my favorite friends ever are two old heads just yelling this is This is kind of the funniest thing ever. I feel like that's Abisco's whole run. Was yelling at people. He was just yelling. And this potentially is also in the abyss room or off to the side of it. Looks very close to it. Jared is where a big fucking suit with crazy fasial air. Yeah, he looks like he's just draw it. He does well, he looks stressed because you know he's fucking He was supposed to be the King of the Mountain match. That's is his match, and he wasn't in the match. I don't understand. It's his match, dude, And I've been saying that, And honestly, if you disagree, Shark Boy's gonna suit you, and yeah, you're gonna get sued. I hope nobody says that here. It's always been whatever you want me to say, so I don't get sued. It's all about Slattery's a Physica says Jeff, I try to tell you you had your title shot. Kicking in the Mountain was your title shot. It's not my fault you beat up some fan and got dragged away by the Harris brothers. I was in a tight spot and Jared's yellies I'm the number one contender, and I said, well, what about no surrender? I have this guy that does a title shot more than anybody, the Monster Abyss, And Jared says the fuck. Larry says, well, what about the new town the ones to come in here? And Jared gets pissed. He says new Chally starts to take all this jashes talking about. He said, this is planet jar this is my world. Who's an Italian talking about I deserve a tongue of shot. That's Zaisco just fucking walks off frantically. That is I love old people yelling promos. Enough of them. Yeah, this is really good. I feel like like commissioners are like director of authorities, and all have to be old fucking crazy dudes. Yeah, and they have to have the voice of just it's something about southern old dude yelling. It's just fucking funny as ship. Every time the Monster Abyss do this interview and said, town, I can't help me people fan, all right, no problem, I don't want to get see it. You know Abyss, Abyss and almost roadkill pods very similar, maybe maybe the same exact thing. No, no, come on, aren't they? No? No, because Abys comes in with like almost like an X. Yeah. Okay, he crosses over at the churned butter. But have we seen I was going to bus in the same place. Two big guys too, agile guys. I was not doing whatever. Yeah whatever, So we got you we want so we got you versus the Delirious. Yes, yeah, this is impact debut, I believe, Yes, that's correct. He just wrestled at Slimmiversary. I think it was against whooped his ass, and now he's facing Delirious and uh, this is like the part. So, like I said earlier, I watched this when it came out, and I vividly remember being fired up because I saw in the TNA Wrestling dot Com description that Lerius was facing Simojo. I said, WHOA Delirious is on here. That's fucking cool because already knew Joe was on So I was like, oh sure, and I liked Delirious. I thought was fucking cool, and I actually, for a while I kind of was surprised that he never got picked up by anybody. He was like a mass dude that could have sold a ton of mask and I like a frantic gimmick. He's never going to be more than like a good car. Yeah, absolutely, man, he like they took to this gimmick one hundred percent true. He probably would have fit in TNA too, but he probably would have end up with Abyss. Yeah, oh my god, Yeah yeah, yeah, he was. He was well, you know, brother, but he was a solid worker and his gimmick was over with you know anytime I fucking saw it. So I was always surprised he didn't get signed somewhere. So we have Samoa Joe versus Delirious in a match where Joe is going to beat the dog ship out of this dude. Just this is all I ever asked for. Just annihilate him, and like they put Joe over crazy. On commentary, they even talk about Joe dominating r H for three years. Mike today says Joe's dominated Ring of Honor for the past three years. Currently they're pure champion and now trying to prove to the world, he compete, he can compete with the big boys in DNA. Oh shit, I am sure that Gabe had a very very calm response to that. I'm sure. I'm sure a mass email wasn't sent out to every He's grabbing pencils, fucking r school, Mitch Franklin is getting beamed in the head with three chairs in a row is fucking I know. His ass was like, what are you talking about? Because he's like, you would compete with the big boys, SMOs, Delirious, Christopher Danels is in humane the whole this is an r H under card talking about the big boys of DNUM. You but yeah, that was cool. That was cool that you mentioned given the iggy was very nice. Yeah, I mean putting the compete with the big boys of TNA was crazy, But I understand the r The first part was definitely Today and the second part was definitely TNA. You're yeah, I mean the third part was Gabs in an email that show and as You're done and Shark Boys actually going to Les. So samo Joe take control of this early he does the rolling legs sweep on Delirious. That's awesome because Delirious runs around the ring crazy. You know when you were in the when when the bell rings, he goes fucking crazy boa and he runs around the ring, gets crazy, gets in the ring, and Joe just s team rolls him with the He rolls his entire body on the Florida legs sweep him. Young Joe. I don't know how to tell you all this for people who have just seen him. I guess in the last ten years or so twenty honestly almost twenty years. Wow. But yeah, younger Joe was a complete fucking monster. He was like the best, Like right now, he's the best wrestler in the world. Yeah, I feel like he I feel like Joe took a lot of inspiration from like Otani I think so too. Yeah, I think I heard him say that on like a shoot or something. Yeah, that's probably right, like a lot of the juniors at the time, but like he doesn't facewashing. Yeah, but he was, you know, he was huge. So I was like, Wow, this guy's doing some like really crazy shit. You know. I think I think we all agree that, like Joe's one of our favorite wrestlers ever though, And younger Joe was like such an absolute monster, and they booked him like one, and he was never not booked like until until the run was over. Yeah, right, until the run was over. He was booked in both companies. Like, yeah, he's like he's a guy that like totally understands wrestling. I wish I fucking I understand. I understand that Joe's like way like at the end of his career and like, I'm sure he doesn't really give a shit about independent wrestling very much anymore. But I'm not even talking about coming to work. I mean, like I was just like I'd love to talk to Joe just a I don't agent something or just be like even he was like a consultant, like if you just watched the show and like emailed us and said, hey, here's what I liked or didn't like or like maybe something you should do. I feel like his mind it's so like there's not a mine like this, No, probably not. Probably very few from that era that were like that are left that are still rocking, right, Yeah, I don't. I like, especially guys that like get it, get it and like, yeah, it's such like and I and I'm glad, like I said, I'm glad he's in a ways doing that. And I totally understand if like he doesn't give a ship about indie ship, you know what I mean, Like it totally makes sense to me, but I mean, you know, yeah, but god damn if we could like just like an email like that, I would have switched around that third and fourth match or like like, hey, your gay money. Just it's just something I watched this match, And that's the first thing I wrote down here was like, please Joe, I wish Joe. I wish Joe. We could give him the mix anyway, just like it's I don't even need you to come to this show, just watch it so you got this is something you need. My name you could say, mister d p W, mister you. Yeah, I love you, Joe, Joe, where's the shirt? Break out the brows short. We've been there the whole time, every comedy watch Joe. I watched your fucking you bet w ship dude, Yeah Joe, yeah, rolling legs, sweet man. I was a monster, running knee in the corner, face washing scrape. Yeah, dude, Yeah, that's awesome. Joe's was better. I don't care. That's fair. Mike today fucking just putting this guy over. Don West is freaking out at everything that he's doing. There's one combo, the classic Joe combo that Delirious. I guess maybe he wasn't doing it enough yet and people weren't familiar or what, but Joe almost kills him fucking thing, dude. Joe does the back chop with Delirious seated, and then he usually follows it up with a kick to the chest to put him down, and then hits the ropes for the running knee. Well, Delirious takes the back chop, falls down and Joe's like, oh shit, okay, I can't kick you. So Joe hits the ropes. Then Delirious is sitting up and Joe's already committed, so Joe just jumps up in the air and he drops him on the head. Fuck. Yeah, that was like one of my favorite combos man, Like, I thought that shit was so cool. He still does it. He does the knee still. Yeah. Yeah, I think he does the backchop kick and then running. He doesn't do the sick kick. Fucking no, no, I don't think he does that. No he did on the stairs. No, sorry, So Joe locks in a dominal stretch on Delirious. Dude, this is crazy. Crazy, crazy abdominal strets with extra hooks and theatrics where he's fucking just cranking on a crazy taking it and then the ref like I felt like the ref called from the stop and I was like, is this this new submission that I just never have seen before? It because it could have been oh yeah, it could have been any guy smaller than him. It was awesome. Killed this guy. Yeah, that was awesome. He was really cranked it. And Delirious can't say I quick because all I can say is I don't know. I don't know. That's like Matt Hamill not being able to tell the ref he was because because he's deaf, I don't say, yeah, it definitely could have been over right there. But Joe's got about forty more moves to hit, so this is awesome. Abdominal stretch gets him out of it, fucking st Joe out of the corner. I mean, just no remorse. I'm glad that him and Delirious were boys, because he killed him with this d He crushed him with the st JO today says Joe's like a UFC fighter. That kind of brings that mentality to pro wrestling. I said, oh yeah, please excuse like this is a fighter so delirious, hits a little combo of moves here and gets a little hope a little bit, and then Joe snap power slams his ass. Crazy immediately fires up snap Power slams off the ground, throws them in the corner and yells muscle buster, and Don wals is like, oh, this is just mean. Joe hits him with a muscle buster and Donald says that is devastating. Dude, picks his head up off the ground after muscle buster Cokina clutch. He calls that the Cocada clutch, Cocada clutch, and then he wins by pinfall. That's right, dude. Yeah, they show the Coquina clutch. They zooming on a delirious face, and all of a sudden, I see the ref counting three, and I said the pitfall as a UFC three counts where you slam the mate two three everyone's favorite. Okay, that's very confusing here, Oh, Michael Bisburih Fuck, there's something about a emojo squash that gets it is awesome because all this moves are awesome, all the best moves man, and kicks your fucking ass. Yeah, man, it's awesome. He holds a choking after in the reft trying to get him off, and Delirious goes limp and that's when he lets him go. I was like, this is the best, this is the best. Dude here he is. Yeah, I'll see need here he is. So now it's sign for the main event. We get Elix Skipper say it, say my name Prime Tom Baby facing off against Christopher Daniels, who is the X division champion currently non title. Yeah. I think I thought Skipper was the heel here, but I think he's the face because Daniels turned on him. They both look like heels to me. Yeah they were. No one's cheering. Us said, this is weird the heel, that's thought. But maybe that was getting his revenge on Daniels. Yeah, maybe it was a gray area situation. So Skipper comes out for his entrance and he sprints across the building one tunnel to the other because he wants to hide beside the tunnel that Daniels is gonna come out so he can jump them, and that's exactly what he does. He jumps them. They fight outside the ring like, yeah, I did like that too. Actually they're in the ring and Elix, Skipper hits some fucked up Wade Barrett Finisher. Yeah, I don't know what he's going for. Skipper controls most of the matches we go into the commercial, and he's controlling it coming out of the commercial as well, until Daniels hits a neck breaker. Today also announces here that some mojoel faced Chris saban at no Surrender must have been fucking I'm sure that was awesome paper on Chris saving in the fucking yellow black drugs, the yellow black Alien trunks. Dude, Oh that was my fucking wow. Man, what a work or two. Yeah, so many moll can go, so many cool moves, but that was like that was like the trademark of the X division back there was like, how many cool moves? Do you got a lot? They do a text scrolling graphic or not graphic, just text scrolling at the bottom advertising those surrender Like nowadays you know you get a match graphic lower third kind of thing. This is just text scrolling. The they did You're right yeah, which got the yeah wave to RuneScape Texte. Yeah, let's go. That was awesome. Daniels does a crazy chop to the back of Skipper's head. With theatrics. I don't know what he was going for there kick Skipper fucking nails him in the head with that fucking thing. That was crazy. The crowd is starting to cheer for Skippers. I'm like, okay, this is where I was like, they're actually going kind of back and forth on what I heard was yeah, yeah, Primetime and Daniels Yeah, And I was like, I'm fucking who who is hell? That's up? So cool? You got it you for? You know. Daniel tries to leave up the ramp, but Skipper runs after him throws it back in. Daniels then rolls out the other side and Skipper hits him with a corkscrewp and then bugshot lariot for two. Yeah. That was fucking awesome. And then this is the move I was talking about. Skipper hits like a It's like a fucking like a sidewalk slam into a power slam into a rock bottom. Yeah. It was like a catatonic Uranagi or something. Yeah. I was like, what is this hit? Skipper is walking Daniels down talking ship. Daniels grabs his trunks and uh fucking hangs them up on the the middle rope. There hits a flat liner KG clutch and Skipper taps out and Daniels gets the win over his former friend. Yes, this was a going into intermission r o H match. Yeah, it was first half main event. Yeah, this is legit. It was worth the exact fucking same way, like down to the Daniels only beats him because he's smart enough to like create the separation. That's exactly yep. And I was like, wow, this is this is a fun show. Yeah, man, and they're here with the big boys. Now yeah, well, now when does the upper card start? Got to get to that part next? Oh yeah, Raven was probably in the upper card of our wait shows. Maybe I don't know. Yeah, I don't know what it was doing. So we got to a t Anda No Surrender commercial. Yes, and uh, it's pretty cool that they haven't played out pretty well here. I like this, this is very cool. They have shots like, yeah, the production TNA had especially this time, and even more so when they get on Spike is awesome they like. I mean, I think the one we talk about the most is like the shots in the rain. I mean they should because they were awesome. They were awesome. Yeah, I think that was cool as ship and I also, I guess it makes more sense when I think about it, in the sense of they had money to spend, if they spend thirty thousand dollars just to be on FSN. Sure, yeah that's true. Yeah right, yes, you know what I mean. That's pretty cool, that's fair. So we get a no surrender, a little gimmick here before we go into the Raven town hall here to finish this off. He's the new n w A World's Heavyweight Champion. Not for how long does he have this for? Not too long? Right, not very long? You hold it for me? Yeah, keep it warm. Brother Raven comes in through the crowd. We're on the n w A title and listen. I love Raven, but this promo was just a bunch of hoopla. I just fucking don't know what the fuck he was talking about, just talking about his you know, his youth and what you mean, I legit wrote. He says a lot of shit. I don't understand any of it, but it sounded cool, except there's one guy in the crowd just going what just one dude? It is the one guy. He's like, he's like on hard camp back. Besides, I've risen from the ashes appropriate you what what what I think? Also? Shut up? Or we say this is like what this is like Raven? If like Raven's done, this is this? Yeah? Yeah I could what you're saying generated Raven. Wow, that is a great way to put it, because saying ship, he's just hitting all the fucking lines. Yeah, Raven says he completed his destiny. James Mitchell comes out and he says, if you're through with your incoherent gibberish, which is correct. He says, you probably thought you'd never see me again after you left me bloody and bruised. Yeah, was that in TNA or is that like an e c W thing which might have been e c W thing because he was kind of with Raven just right. Oh is this his first time here? Maybe? Oh so I had him an ECW then Yeah. Yeah, I'm alive, bitch, I'm alive and well and I'm personally gonna see it that the only thing you're destined for is failure. And Raven says, oh, I always enjoy the he's not even Raven anymore, this is just him being scotty. Yeah, I was enjoyed the inane, muddy rings of a half wit and your tears of pain have brought me nothing but joy. But the fact of your back gives me even more excitement, because that means you have returned for a second helping of the even flow. That's why I said that he didn't help. No, it's not in the move, God damn it, James Mitchell says, I keep flapping your gum juice. Comeback. Raven says, it looks like you're gonna try to get on the bang a bandwagon of Oh please, please abyss, let me be your manager. But I'd like to think he's smart enough to realize, but he probably isn't that even the most wondrous of vipers make poor pets. What the fuck are you talking about talking? But even the most wondrous of vipers are not a planned sag And he just had to fucking go to the back of promo A so his mindset. I don't want to I just wanted I don't want to be here, James Mitchell says. Just remember, Raven, I was doing the same, saving one thousand dollars a night. I know the Jared Sudder with James Mitchell for eighty five people. Again, I was doing the same from seventy five thousand dollars. I guess I could rid the whole cride After this the Blue Man Group, Mitchell says, just remember Raven. Revenge is a dish served cold, and dinner is served and a bits hits the ring. But Raven, because James Mitchell game the Iggy already knows that a business coming, turns around and starts stomping out. Abisz hits someone with a discus clothes line that Abyss bumps on and the crowd is chanting, Oh up, it is tremendous. Raven goes for the even flow by Bs, counters it, ducks a line. Raven hits the ropes and gets caught with the black hole slams. He starts to crazy, dude, it's the best. He is the best. This is my like, this is the best version of this is my mind. Yeah, this is yeah, and he does when the eventually he wins it like cane style, though when does he win it? Is it long long after this he wins it and then like loses it immediately? Oh he does not? That would have been awesome, like a like a town of all those dud dudes. What that? Okay, I gotta go do the best ever right there. Well, Bis scrabs a big ass chain that he carries around and he wraps around Raven's neck and he chokes him the death and the show ends with Raven dying as far as I knows what it looks like at least, Yeah, that is the first Internet edition of Impact and a tight, forty five minute show, just all the r ways dudes you could possibly ask for on this fucking thing. Uh, And they're building to no Surrender but yeah, this being right after Slammiversary is like it's got to be kind of a kick in the nuts. It's gotta be, I imagine, Yeah, that's gotta be. Uh, I'm sure they're so. It's so crazy to see the difference in respect, honor, tradition between the guys that want to be here and the guys that are here because they have to be here, right Yeah, yeah, Jo's about to grab the mica and shoot on all of these guys. I don't care. I don't care like the people the people that want it are the people they don't care about and the people that you know that don't give a ship at all. It's like, damn, I'm not watching the list are on the show, like the people that have been you know, I don't imagine. I can't imagine how we people on the internet were looking for the Raven promo, but I assume, I assume on TV that people were probably like, I need to see the fucking world. I need see Raven, I need Jeff Jared. I can't imagine this whatever. I can't imagine they rewrote the show because they thought it was going online. I imagine this is what was going to happen on FSN anyway. Yeah, probably so yeah, so yeah, no, you're you're completely right, man. There's definitely a you know, some dudes just they make it and then it's like anything under that is just fucking I'm here to for the pay, which is, you know, not always bad, but it's hard to swallow sometimes when you got guys like Joe that wanted Yeah he saw TNA is like, this is our opportunity to take over, like AJA and all those guys did, and they believed it forever. Yeah they did. I mean Joe believed it forever. Yeah, dude for longer than needed to. Yeah, same with a J honestly, but you know AJ, well, AJ, they were paying most of the time Yeah that's true. Yeah, that's true. And then for some reason they forgot that he was a top guy Grand Slam Triple Crown Championship. But yeah, that is TNA impact June twenty four, two thousand and five, The Real Player Edition. I enjoyed it, Yeah, dude, I enjoyed it too. I enjoyed it very much. A tight, forty five minute show. I'm always a big fan of those, and I just imagine got time. Yeah, like I was, this was all cool to me. All this stuff that didn't need a ton of time, didn't get a ton of time. No, not like it was the raven things sucked, but it was like four minutes. Yeah, I was. I was like, okay, cool, yeah, all right at that very end of the show. Yeah, tight show.
