Yeah, I I know. 00:02:02 Speaker 3: The last time Cavino watched Sesame Street for Facto was hanging out with Katie Perry wearing that low cut shirt. 00:02:11 Speaker 1: Do you remember that? 00:02:13 Speaker 2: I mean, truthfully, the only time I watched Sesame Street I was never, even though I agree it's important for kids, and my daughter actually watched. 00:02:20 Speaker 5: Right. 00:02:21 Speaker 2: My biggest takeaway from Sesame back in the day was one, two teeth, five, six, seven and nine, ten, eleven, twelve. 00:02:28 Speaker 1: I was more of a mister Rogers. I love. Both my kids are big Sesame Street kids. They're little. 00:02:34 Speaker 3: My daughter was too, for sure, but no, we you know to have all the videos of all the celebrities you're you you know, you know you made it when you appear on Sesame. I remember as a little kid Keith Hernandez and Mooki Wilson. I remember as a little boy being like the Mets are on Sesame Street, and now they got like, you know, Jason Derulo dancing with them ushers. 00:02:53 Speaker 6: Yeah, loves the usher. 00:02:55 Speaker 3: Cost in that Sesame Street zone right now. 00:02:58 Speaker 6: Cookie Monster books. He has Cookie Monster toys, and he loves the count He walks around the living room and he says. 00:03:03 Speaker 1: One, oh, was he counting the Raiders wins. 00:03:08 Speaker 6: That would have been watched? Mouth would that would have been? And CoA just flipped you off like Gino Smith does to fans. 00:03:17 Speaker 7: What's up, Isaac, we have a sesame Street New York Mets count update. 00:03:23 Speaker 6: Here we go. 00:03:24 Speaker 8: Bitch, you told me Mookie Wilson baby strike loan count most important. Wait till Mookie froze the ball before you swam. 00:03:34 Speaker 3: They were great, some classic sssory shirts. So I think, uh, you. 00:03:40 Speaker 2: Nine disappointing losses for the Raiders a. 00:03:44 Speaker 3: Better time next year. CoA, yeah, but that is that is a great show. So anyway, enjoy your time with friends. 00:03:53 Speaker 6: Thank god he has Lakers games. 00:03:57 Speaker 1: Forty plus plays again. 00:04:00 Speaker 3: So let's get back to the NFC North real quick, right quick. I posed what I thought was a hell of a question, so I hope you feel the same way. What coach quarterback Combo would be most disappointing to see not make the postseason. Because we did the math yesterday, we don't need to go over it again. 00:04:17 Speaker 1: But there looks like. 00:04:18 Speaker 3: There's going to be four teams fighting for three wild cards because you got to look at the West and while they might not be as good, the forty nine Ers and the Seahawks have pretty easy schedules in comparison to the NFC North. So of the Bears, Lions, and Packers one of those teams likely not to make the playoffs, and they might not make the playoffs with like a ten and seven record. 00:04:44 Speaker 1: So let me ask you, Matt Lafleur, Jordan Love. 00:04:48 Speaker 3: Lafloor's three and five in the postseason, been with the team since twenty nineteen, only one losing season, so the Packers. 00:04:55 Speaker 1: Are perpetually there year after year. 00:04:58 Speaker 3: Just a matter of could they get past that NFC championship game with Lafleur Jordan Love the predecessor to Aaron Rodgers, would that be a disappointment? 00:05:08 Speaker 1: Now you go to Detroit. Dan camp has time in my mind just to answer the question. 00:05:12 Speaker 3: The Floor's the longest tenured of those three, so Packers that would be them missing right. 00:05:19 Speaker 1: What would you feel about that? 00:05:20 Speaker 3: Dan Campbell started out three and thirteen biting kneecaps. Everyone made fun of it, but then they turned it around. They are back to back division winners the last two years. They won that NFC North and you know, disappointing playoff losses, people are really pulling for them as the underdog that's never won a Super Bowl. 00:05:37 Speaker 2: They enrich that would be a step back if they didn't make it. Jared Goff, you know it's been there since twenty twenty one. 00:05:45 Speaker 3: Lost the Super Bowl with the Rams, did that trade for Matthew Stafford. 00:05:49 Speaker 6: Right now, I think the Lions are the answer here. 00:05:51 Speaker 3: And then I was gonna say, and then the Bears first time first year coach Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams look like, Wow, that's working out exactly like cargo plan. 00:06:00 Speaker 1: A franchise that has great history. 00:06:02 Speaker 3: But I think we could all agree that other than a Super Bowl appearance against the Cult where Peyton Manning beat them and remember Devin Hester with the the kickoff returns to start the game, other than that random appearance by the Bears, a story franchise that has sort of stunk since our childhood, right since they were great in the eighties and it was members like they were doing the Remember was like Niners, Cowboys, Bears, Redskins. That that was our childhood and then the Bears have sort of been mediocre since I think the Bears have a lot of reason to be really happy right now. 00:06:32 Speaker 2: So I think again, but that's that's a step forward. Yeah, I think teams are step forwards. If the Lions don't advance, that's a step backward. And I got to quote you. I hate to quote the great Rich Davis, but who talks about little windows more than you? This little window of opportunity will continue to close for Detroit if they don't do it. 00:06:54 Speaker 6: Now. 00:06:54 Speaker 1: You know, they've been there the past two three years. I think now's the time. 00:06:58 Speaker 2: And it seems like they all off for sure, but it's time for them to step up. Not yeah, for every other team you mentioned, that's a step forward. For them, it'd be a step backward. 00:07:08 Speaker 3: I hate to put Isaac on the spot, but he's such a clever, knowledgeable guy. Sam Laporta, Is there a timeline for his return because he's a big part of that Detroit offense, and especially without Ben Johnson making the calls for Detroit anymore, that Detroit looks a little, a little suspect they might be the odd one out. 00:07:25 Speaker 7: Uh, let me check the Lion's status reports. 00:07:30 Speaker 1: It's them, Dan Campbell, are you guys, bros? No, that's what that's what That's what I'm doing. 00:07:34 Speaker 7: I mean, he and I have comparison comparative amounts of coffee. This is as of yesterday. Quote from Dan Campbell. Sam did have a procedure and he's going to be out for a while. I think we would be fortunate to have a chance to get him back for the rest of the season at some point. 00:07:49 Speaker 1: I think that is very, very slim unquote. 00:07:52 Speaker 3: So maybe maybe a postseason appearance, and that's if they make it. So I don't want to do too much schedule watching. But to answer the qu uh, I think we're all in agreement that the Lions would be the most disappointing to the fan base, and that coach quarterback Combo because Golfs not a He's not a young Caleb Williams or Jordan Love type. He's the veteran of those quarterbacks. Dan Campbell made such progress, so to take a step back would be disappointing. But I did tell you about their schedule coming up, and it's not nice if they. 00:08:20 Speaker 1: Got thirty one too. 00:08:21 Speaker 3: Just to make it clear, he feels so much older. I'm sorry that you know what doesn't. 00:08:25 Speaker 1: Feels older, But those other dudes are a lot younger, so you know, you know why feels older. 00:08:29 Speaker 3: Because no, he got to the Super Bowl pretty quickly at the RAMS, and because he was traded straight up for Stafford, you're assuming they're similar in age, but no, Stafford's got a five plush years on him. But let me just real quickly tell you what the Lions have coming up in the next few weeks, just to show you how it's not. 00:08:46 Speaker 2: Quickly because Rich we got Mike's Wednesday Word's wisdom and prizes to give. 00:08:49 Speaker 1: Him and I really can't wait. 00:08:50 Speaker 3: You're right, I know, but they played the Packers on Thanksgiving, and then they have to play the Cowboys, who look like they got some life. They go to play the Rams across the country in LA, then they play the Steelers. 00:09:04 Speaker 1: It just doesn't seem like an easy road for the line. 00:09:06 Speaker 3: So unless the Lions get hot, I think Dan Campbell's gonna have to look at this as the year where oh we took a step back, and the Lions might have to figure out where do we go from here to get back? 00:09:16 Speaker 1: So we shall see. I could be. 00:09:18 Speaker 3: Totally wrong, Lions run the table and I look like an idiot. But to me, as of right now, Lions lose tomorrow to the Packers on Thanksgiving Day, lines are done. 00:09:29 Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree, mark my words. High stakes while we're eating turkey tomorrow. Yeah, high turkey and high stakes. All right, let's get into it. We do this every Wednesday. You know, the guy that runs his place, Mike. It's such a good dude. 00:09:43 Speaker 3: He came in here and in all sinceriti, he's like, Thanksgiving my favorite holiday because it's about being grateful and it's about being thankful. And I was like, Mike, you're being very sincere. Now I give him a big hunk. So, oh, Mike's the best. He has words of wisdom, and if you could RepA them verbatim, you win a Cavine on rich football. Let's do this, Mike's words of wisdom. 00:10:08 Speaker 8: It's time for the guy that runs this place. 00:10:10 Speaker 6: Just for clarification, guys, Big Mike does not run this place. He is not in charge of everything. He has no power over really anybody here. He does not run this place. 00:10:20 Speaker 8: It's Big Mike's words of wisdom on a Wednesday. 00:10:26 Speaker 5: It's not the minutes you spend your Thanksgiving feast that will make you fat. It's the seconds. Okay, that stupid. I don't love it, but I like it. 00:10:41 Speaker 2: You know, if you repeat that verbatim one more time, I don't even I don't think you should, but if. 00:10:46 Speaker 1: You want, let's do it one more time. 00:10:48 Speaker 5: It's not the minutes you spend your Thanksgiving feast that will make you fat. It's the seconds. 00:10:56 Speaker 3: Get it the seconds, good one, Mike, repeat that word for word and you went a covene on Rich Fox Sports Radio, NERF Turmo Football. 00:11:04 Speaker 1: They're sweet keeping in the trunk, thrown around with your. 00:11:06 Speaker 6: Kids, cove. You've already had fits there at your house? 00:11:09 Speaker 2: Yes, yes, seriously, man, It's like carb Central in New Jersey with my parents. 00:11:14 Speaker 1: It's like Steve and you want some bagels with your pizza. I'm like, mom, how. 00:11:19 Speaker 2: And then there's King Hawaiian role you want an English muffin with your pizza. It's like, no, Mom, I mean, stop pushing the carbs. It's insane, Mom, possible to stay healthy when you're visiting family. 00:11:29 Speaker 3: Mom's houses always have like you said, carb Central. I was facetiming with Cavino this morning and I saw his mom's kitchen. No joke, like English muffins, muffins, bread towards. 00:11:43 Speaker 1: It's like, yo, what did do? Moms? 00:11:44 Speaker 2: Just carbs set you up, So it's crazy, man. So hey, thank you guys. If you could repeat, you win a prize. Now that being said, by the way, well Danny g gets the Phones going to get a winner eight seven seven on Fox. Like Rich said, let's talk about George Pickens and what he appeared to say about Eagles fans. 00:12:06 Speaker 3: Now he has since deleted it, right, but the sentiment was funny offensive, I mean no, no, but like you know, he threw an N word in there, which you know, well, I mean he's a black guy, so all. So George Pickens puts out there on social media and deletes it mocking Eagles fans. I guess he's going back and forth with some people, Eagle fans mocking him being that he's a cowboy. Yeha said he's arguing with with with Eagles fans that he says N words known for their sandwiches, insinuating like yo, Philly, you don't even you don't even know for your Eagles. You know, for cheese steaks. 00:12:48 Speaker 1: Your cheese steaks are more popular than your Eagles. That's funny. 00:12:55 Speaker 3: But I guess he deleted it because I guess he's just I don't want trouble. But in my mind, you put a that out there and deleted, you d have more attention to it, right, But yeah, known more for sandwiches, So here's my question. 00:13:08 Speaker 1: Has anyone ever sticks you could eat? Has any o y'all hit me. 00:13:12 Speaker 3: Up with some boys to men on that when we come back from our next commercial. 00:13:15 Speaker 1: Little Motown Philly back again. I look at it this way. 00:13:21 Speaker 3: Sometimes someone says something to you and it can be the dumbest insult, but for some reason. 00:13:27 Speaker 1: It bothers you. 00:13:29 Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think misconceptions too comes to mind. So I like both angles here. I'm gonna run with yours. But you know, being known for your sandwiches, is that really a bad thing? They are known for their sandwiches. But again misconception. Philly's known for lots of great lot of history in Philadelphia. It's not just cheese, steaks and great sports teams right Rocky about boy, And there's lots of things that Philly's known for. But it's like I said, I'm here in Jersey and people always say stupid things like do you look bun Jovi? He's like, I mean, yeah, kind of uh yo, does Jersey really smell like? 00:14:02 Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. 00:14:03 Speaker 3: That's not really the biggest misconception of New Jersey because I live in La now, but I'm an East Coast guy. I grew up in New York. I'm not a Jersey guy. But the big misconception is like Jersey's smelly and gross. 00:14:13 Speaker 2: It's one tiny There is one tiny part of the turnpike where you see Tony Soprano drive by. That's where it smells. But Jersey as a state doesn't smell. Does everybody see joy Zy that? 00:14:24 Speaker 5: Yeah? 00:14:24 Speaker 1: They do what they do? 00:14:25 Speaker 2: They don't, he says, Joysy, my whole life. Listen to your family misconception. But you know, insults that bother you, Rich, I'm glad you brought that up. 00:14:35 Speaker 3: Or even like even like joking, insults that get in your head and bother you. Like I'll tell you what. Basically, our buddy Drew in Nashville, I'll call him out on national radio. 00:14:44 Speaker 1: He listens. 00:14:45 Speaker 3: So he's listening right now, I bet, and he's gonna be like, why would you say it because it bothers him? 00:14:49 Speaker 1: Oh no, his why? 00:14:51 Speaker 3: His beautiful wife Jennifer does really well professionally. So as a joke with our group of buddies, we we make it the joke that like he has to ask his wife permission for things because she's the bread winner and like makes decisions like Yo, can you go on the Bros. 00:15:06 Speaker 8: Trip? 00:15:06 Speaker 1: Did you ask your wife? And just teasing teasing him that like. 00:15:09 Speaker 3: His wife makes all the decisions and he's like, you know, he's like, uh. 00:15:13 Speaker 1: Secondary it bothers him so much so he laughs it off, but really it does kind of get to him here. 00:15:19 Speaker 3: Yeah, he hit me up and he's like, Yo, when you do that, I gotta be honest. You strike a nerve. 00:15:23 Speaker 1: I don't know why. It's the button nice. Well, I'll tell you what he used to bother me. 00:15:27 Speaker 3: When you and Spot were relentlessly talking about you say, I look like Eli Manning and I do not look like Eli Manning. 00:15:33 Speaker 1: But why would that bother you? 00:15:35 Speaker 5: That? 00:15:35 Speaker 3: Because he's a goofy goober and you like, I feel like we're on the radio and you paint this picture that I look like Eli Manning. 00:15:40 Speaker 1: I mean you have Manning qualities a little bit, A little bit, there are some corny like you're saying all white guys look alike. Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. 00:15:49 Speaker 6: Yes, I think Rich looks more like an NFL punter. 00:15:52 Speaker 1: Okay, I'll take that. 00:15:53 Speaker 2: I'll take you can say that I don't look like a Manning all right, Rich used to look like Zach Marris and now he looks more like Max from The Max then. 00:16:02 Speaker 1: But you know, yeah, if you looks like George Lopez. 00:16:06 Speaker 2: Now, hey, but bullets don't hurt when they miss. So that doesn't bother me because I know it's not true. You see what I'm saying. So there's two though that have gotten to me recently. I'm here in Jersey. I'm sorry, Joysy visit family, right, and we mentioned this on our Patreon, But little kids, if you want to know the truth, talk to some little kids, because they say the darnedest things. They're not trying to sugarcoat. They have no filter. They'll tell you what's up. I'm talking to my little niece and my nephew. My little niece goes like this, She's like, Uncle Steve, are you fat? I'm like no, She's like, I think you're fat, and I'm like, so dude, yeah, I'm in the bathroom looking at myself. 00:16:49 Speaker 1: Later on, and all I hear is her little voice, Uncle Steve, are you fat? And I'm like it gets to you. 00:16:54 Speaker 2: And then my little nephew goes to me, Uncle Steve, you got a bald spot and I'm like, night, that's just where my hair grows on the top the uh, what's it called? The whirl thing? I got up there where the hair grows. Nah, uncle Steve, that's a bald spot. So and then in the back of my mind, I'm like that little turt he got in my he's in my walls now and he got me thinking about it. So I laugh it off. But his things a little because they're they're hitting your insecurities, is what it is? What are those little insults or things that people say that for some reason hurts more than it should. 00:17:28 Speaker 3: We'll take your feedback. We're gonna get a winner from Mike's words wisdom right now. But I want to throw one more out there. My buddy Chris has a story where it bothered him so much. One of our mutual old school college buds commented, he bought he bought a beautiful house with his wife, and this guy from high school comments, yeah, it's a pretty nice starter home. 00:17:48 Speaker 1: Oh man, he's got to sneak this starter home. It's my forever home. 00:17:54 Speaker 3: And he's like, I spent all my money in this house, and I got some jo on Facebook say a nice starter home. Yeah, And it's like forever. He's like, I can't can't shake that stupid car. He's like, I hate that guy. 00:18:07 Speaker 1: It's a jerky comment, dude, it really is. That's a that's a good one. 00:18:10 Speaker 3: So your thoughts, but uh, you want to get a winter Danny g. You want to start with Cody in Virginia. 00:18:14 Speaker 6: Yeah, let's start with Cody. 00:18:15 Speaker 3: Yo, Cody, you want to repeat Mike's words wisdom, get a little Thanksgiving prize? 00:18:19 Speaker 1: Buddy boy? 00:18:20 Speaker 9: Hey, how you guys doing it? 00:18:21 Speaker 4: I think I got it right. 00:18:22 Speaker 1: Let's let's hear bro. Let's let's set the tone. 00:18:24 Speaker 6: Ye, wait for the music. 00:18:29 Speaker 1: Take it away. 00:18:30 Speaker 9: It's not the minute you spend your Thanksgiving feast that will make you fat. 00:18:35 Speaker 1: It's the second. 00:18:38 Speaker 6: Did you get it? You got it? 00:18:39 Speaker 4: Yeah? 00:18:40 Speaker 1: There you go, buy Winter Winner Turkey dinner. Bro, it's the seconds. Nice congratulations man. 00:18:50 Speaker 5: Hey. 00:18:51 Speaker 2: And by the way, if the rest of the Fox Sports Radio Nation wants a chance to win, our brand new, new and improved c n R and FSR NERF Turbo Football is the sweet grippy grip got nice. 00:19:01 Speaker 1: Weaight to it? 00:19:01 Speaker 2: Perfect to toss around on a Thanksgiving weekend. I just read a stat that the average family starts their Thanksgiving dinner at three pm? 00:19:56 Speaker 1: Why do we do that? Do you guys? Are you guys a three pm dinner family? Dude? Do you kidding me? 00:20:01 Speaker 2: I'm half Mexicans, so my family's on delay, get it on delay? 00:20:04 Speaker 1: On delay we are when three o'clock not even close. 00:20:08 Speaker 2: My mom's still stressing about getting dinner done like apps. 00:20:12 Speaker 10: You're eating apps at that point. Yeah, you found like two courses by three pms. 00:20:15 Speaker 3: But I know you're you and your beautiful wife are coming over my place tomorrow. We're doing a little later. 00:20:20 Speaker 1: Where we more of a five PM. 00:20:21 Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe that right, But like, I never understood why Thanksgiving the one day year. 00:20:27 Speaker 1: You start early? Yeah, I don't get like three, like you really break it out there. 00:20:30 Speaker 10: Yeah, Nah, you start early so you can have sandwiches by the time you leave. 00:20:34 Speaker 6: Yeah, you start at halftime of the first NFL game. 00:20:37 Speaker 1: There you go. I could have an act. I get what Rich was going at though. 00:20:42 Speaker 2: If you're if every day for the most part, you're eating dinner around six seven, right, sixcess, wouldn't you think a compromise for the holiday where you eat a lot would be five? 00:20:52 Speaker 1: Why three? 00:20:53 Speaker 3: He's like way or like to me, like, you know, five o'clock might be a nice dinner time for Christmas or Easter, you know, because people want to stick around have coffee and dessert, and you know, some older people want to go home. 00:21:03 Speaker 1: Five o'clock makes sense. 00:21:04 Speaker 3: But when people say the average family starts Thanksgiving dinner at. 00:21:07 Speaker 6: Three, I think that's good. I'd like to add, you're starving, rich, how many of us got are hands slapped? And get out of the kitchen, get away, don't eat anything, don't spoil your appetite. So you're starving by three. 00:21:17 Speaker 2: P I got my handsup last night for real eating mom's meatballs. 00:21:21 Speaker 6: Dude. 00:21:21 Speaker 1: Oh so all right, you're we'll do midweek major. 00:21:25 Speaker 3: Your thoughts on any of this, we'll get to And if you guys have any advice or tips at Rich Davis because my wife, I was gonna say, maybe I'm not doing anything. 00:21:33 Speaker 1: She's the genius behind this. 00:21:35 Speaker 3: She's putting our turkey on the green egg. You all right, let's do this. 00:24:39 Speaker 1: Our buddy spot is on standby for Midweek Major. 00:24:43 Speaker 5: Hit It. 00:24:45 Speaker 13: Coveno and Rich get you over the middle of the week where mid Week Major I love that we throw sports and pop culture headlines and topics at the fellas and it's like the kids say. 00:24:58 Speaker 9: That's Summit. 00:24:59 Speaker 8: We see it. Our scoring Midweek Major. 00:25:05 Speaker 6: Oh yeah, can I get a gobble gobble? Before we hand things over to the number one and only host of this segment. We usually roll the big red Love dice in the main studio, but since Coveno's getting hand served food every minute by his mama there in New Jersey, Rich, we will look what I have in my hand. 00:25:25 Speaker 1: First of all, is that U Ben Mals butt penny. 00:25:28 Speaker 6: It sure is discontinued butt penny. Don't worry. I used hand sanitizer, A good all right, Rich, you're at home in the home studios. You call head your tails tails, it is tails. 00:25:40 Speaker 1: There you go. 00:25:40 Speaker 6: Rich gets first take. And now, ladies and gentlemen, the most famous person besides Judy Bloom from Scotch Plains New Jersey Spotty boy. 00:25:50 Speaker 1: Fun guys, let's go. Let's jump right in. Yes, I don't want to interrupt you, but too late, he said. 00:25:55 Speaker 2: Rich gets first take. And I just want to make sure if Drake may has ever heard of it. I don't think he's ever had watches that show either. 00:26:04 Speaker 10: I'll be honest, I didn't even know Cam Newton was on that show. Is that your first Midweek or major? Drake made doesn't know who Newton is? 00:26:10 Speaker 2: I think it's major, to be honest, I do you not know? I mean, you're a quarterback in the NFL. You don't know that Cam Newton's on first take? I'm surprised by that, Like Stephen A Kim, but like, why would you expect him to know? All right, Well, anyway, spotty segment ahead, I mean, feel free to discuss. 00:26:25 Speaker 10: That's okay, all right, We'll start with the Kelsey's. Kylie Kelsey is weighing in on quote America's team, the America's team, debate, and playing family favorites when it comes to her decision. So on our recent Not Gonna Lie podcast, she went off on how she's sick of the notion that the Cowboys are quote America's team. She said, they can quote kiss my ass, and you guessed it. 00:26:48 Speaker 1: Get f what what what? 00:26:52 Speaker 10: She implored her fans to a cheer on Uncle Trav as the Chiefs prepared to take on the Cowboys tomorrow during the Thanksgiving Day game. 00:27:00 Speaker 1: Imagine. 00:27:00 Speaker 10: Of course, she's also a little salty since her Houbbi's former team, the Eagles, lost to the Cowboys twenty four to twenty one. Recently, the Eagles take on the Bears on Friday. So obviously a lot going on in the Kelsey household this weekend. Midwek or major. 00:27:12 Speaker 1: I think it's still mid. 00:27:16 Speaker 3: I like Kelsey, I like Kelsey's wife. I mean, but it's not a surprise. I mean, like her husband was a Super Bowl champion with the Eagles. Like, we're talking about a family that hates the Cowboys and now Uncle Trav's playing against them. What do you think all of a sudden, she's gonna like the Cowboys, please cow No one likes the Cowboys except Dallas fans. 00:27:36 Speaker 2: So yeah, Mid, it's Mid, but that's they are America's team. Stopped crying about it and stop being mad about it. And I don't think the Eagles or the Chiefs are next in line. To be honest, it might be the Patriots with their amazing comeback this season. Not only are they America's team, but they got America's sweetheart, America's sweethearts. Bro. 00:27:58 Speaker 1: So it just sounds like sour grapes to me. But at midstore, all right. 00:28:02 Speaker 10: In the auction world, if you're memorabilia fan, pay attention a couple items coming up for sale. So a huge piece of basketball and specifically Lakers memorabilia about to hit the auction block. So a game ball from the two thousand NBA Finals will be part of Southeby's Winter Sports Classic, which will feature over thirty million dollars in sports memorabilia. The ball specifically from Game six showdown against the Pacers, in which LA Lakers won one sixteen to one eleven. Ball signed the roster for that team, of course, you know, includes Kobe and Shack. In addition to the ball, some other items, a full line of the Chicago Bulls Championship rings, Katie Game Warn Jersey from the Warriors, and Otani's Game Warn Jersey from the twenty twenty four Jackie Robinson Day. 00:28:48 Speaker 1: Bidding began this week and we'll go through December eleventh, midweek or major at the mid That's so there's auctions all the time. 00:28:56 Speaker 3: But I will say this though, if you are a Lakers fan, Kobe's first NBA title with Shack that two thousand team, that's a piece of memorability that a true Lakers fan have. You got ducats that that's a pretty cool piece. So I think that's cool. But I'll be honest, this is so much memorabilia and all these. 00:29:14 Speaker 1: Rich people have something, but yeah, that's cool. I agree with rich. 00:29:19 Speaker 2: It's mid, but it borders on major because of that Kobe Shack Ball two thousand. And you know what's interesting When you say two thousand, it feels relatively recent to me. 00:29:30 Speaker 1: But guys, we're approaching twenty twenty six. 00:29:34 Speaker 2: And for that reason alone, that's why I'm saying it's closer to major. That's something you want to get your hands on if you're a major collector. Kobe Shack twenty six year old ball Now, I don't know. 00:29:44 Speaker 1: That's pretty dope, but it's mid. 00:29:46 Speaker 10: Yeah, as the meme goes, if you were forty in the year two thousand, you're now turning sixty five. 00:29:50 Speaker 1: That's insane, dude, That's what I'm saying. So we think of that as like somewhat recent history, but it's not. 00:29:57 Speaker 6: Damn all right. 00:29:59 Speaker 10: We all as we talk on the show a lot about getting older, we talk about the importance of keeping moving as you get older. Well, former College Game Day host Lee Corso has confirmed our sentiment. During a recent interview, ninety year old Corso, who retired in August as of this season, was asked about life after College Game Day. His response quote lousy. I hate it. He said he can't watch College Game Day anymore. He said he can't get used to it. He's not working anymore. He used to fly all over the place. It sucks. Of course. He had been with the show since its inception in nineteen eighty seven. 00:30:33 Speaker 1: Midweeker Major. It's major. It's major. 00:30:36 Speaker 3: And I'm not saying I hope Lee Corso lives one hundred years, but I don't know when old people retire. I feel like, that's no blino. It's like when you're a grandma falls in Florida and breaks her hip. It's like, now it's just a countdown. 00:30:49 Speaker 8: I don't know. 00:30:49 Speaker 1: I wish him a great long life. He's already lived a great long life. 00:30:52 Speaker 3: But you're retiring when you're an active person, that's rough. 00:30:55 Speaker 1: So I wish lead the best. 00:30:58 Speaker 2: I think it's major is a real life, relatable story. Lee Corso finally got off the Merry go Round and now he's bored and he's sitting there with the reality of he's old and now what right? And I've seen my mom go through that, We've seen people in our lives go through that. It just takes time and it's an adjustment. And he's not just an average old guy. He's an average He's an old guy. I did a lot, Yeah, yeah, a lot, a lot. So God bless him because that's a major, major adjustment for this dude. 00:31:26 Speaker 3: Man maybe put on a mascot costumes at home or something and to my family or something. 00:31:30 Speaker 2: The silver lining though, is that you know, when my mom first retired, dude, she was bored out of her mind and hated it. And now you ask her now she's loving every second of it, so it just takes time. 00:31:39 Speaker 5: Yeah. 00:31:39 Speaker 3: I mean I always thought the greatest example of doing something you love but not at the same scale. 00:31:44 Speaker 1: It's like a letterman. 00:31:45 Speaker 3: I know that's an entertainment example, but you know he he was done with the grind of a daily late night show and now he does like a seasonal Netflix thing. 00:31:52 Speaker 1: So what's that advice? Rich? 00:31:54 Speaker 2: My advice to Lee Corso has maybe become a crossing guard or something to state business. 00:31:57 Speaker 3: So honestly, I'm saying that, you know, be across guard, you know, baumart or something. 00:32:02 Speaker 1: There's a greeter. Yeah, I don't know. Something good guys, good, that's it? 00:32:08 Speaker 3: Oh? 00:32:08 Speaker 10: Oh, I mean I got I got a few more if you want to squeeze them in. I just feel like we're tired on time. Quickie, all right, quickie he entertainment, Give me a good w there's really not much. 00:32:16 Speaker 1: Give me some juicy brouh. 00:32:18 Speaker 10: Do you want to talk about Aiden Hutchinson's mom and an AI image of Aiden Hutchinson or how much money the Lakers or the Bus family got from the sale of the Lakers. 00:32:26 Speaker 1: Now, can you give me the Aiden Hutchinson's all right? 00:32:28 Speaker 10: So his MO lines starting Hutchinson's mom Melissa defending her son from the perils of AI so on our Instagram this week posted a clearly AI image of her son that's been circulating around in a fake wedding image with some random girl with a quote underneath that was like how this is the love of his life and he's so excited and whatever she put underneath, she was like love seeing who's aid Aidan is married to this week with a bunch of laughing emojis. 00:32:56 Speaker 1: She's very active on social media. Aiden is not. 00:32:59 Speaker 10: He's currently actually dating Olivia Rose. They've been dating since twenty twenty two. But yeah, just squashing some of those AI rumors. I'm telling you they're more and more believable. So I guarantee you this is gonna be a bigger and bigger story as time goes on. 00:33:13 Speaker 1: Midweek or major, Dude, it's. 00:33:14 Speaker 3: Major because it's a mom that understands AI. My mom thinks everything she sees is real. My mom thinks my head's afloat. In the Thanksgiving Day parade, Covino and Spot made a photoshop once and me wearing like leather straps and my mom's. 00:33:26 Speaker 1: Like Ritchie you're into that. Like, my mom doesn't. 00:33:28 Speaker 3: Get AI, so the fact that his mom's young and gets AI good for her. 00:33:33 Speaker 1: It is major. 00:33:34 Speaker 2: But I just don't know how I would feel if my mom was active on social media that way. Big Mom settled down, all right. So anyway, great stuff. Spotty boy having. 00:33:43 Speaker 10: Thanksgiving'd be Thanksgiving gobble gobble. 00:33:46 Speaker 1: Thanks Mom. Let's go to Ilo for an update Isaac Low and Crown. 00:33:49 Speaker 7: Yeah, guys, we've got some sizable Major League Baseball breaking news that just came down multiple outlets reporting the Toronto Blue Jays are signing picture Dylan Ceas to a seven year, two hundred and ten million dollar contract, pending a physical in the NFL four time Pro Bowl. Detroit Lions center Frank Ragnow is coming out of retirement, while the Cincinnati Bengals activated Joe Burrow today off of injured reserve. Every Olympic dream starts with a first glide. The NBA, Anthony Davis of the Dallas Mavericks return to practice today and could return to action Friday against the Lakers after missing fourteen games with a strained left cap. Finally, Cavino and Rich, the Lakers Lebron James has been trending today for a rather unusual reason. James was conducting interviews at his locker after last night's game when fans watching on TV noticed in the background that he had a whopping twenty three different skincare product in his locker. 00:35:01 Speaker 1: Oh. 00:35:01 Speaker 7: Now, for a perspective, I consulted at Fox Sports Radio skincare analyst. My wife long Crawn can't close his effing mouth. Yes, her, who texted back, quotes he has very dry skin. Based on what I can see, will say he doesn't have any posh bleep in his locker, which is interesting given he's worth millions. Maybe the diamond I cream is only at home. Unquote back to you guys, thank you. 00:35:28 Speaker 1: I listen. I'm a man that believes in using products. You know. 00:35:31 Speaker 2: I yeah, but that's successive Rich twenty three different products, I don't know. 00:35:35 Speaker 3: I just use whatever my wife has laying around. I'm like, you spent a lot of money in this. I'm gonna make Trish stay young too. And by the way, that Dylan cease news. Definitely check it out. 00:37:25 Speaker 3: All right, Now, let's take two quick phone calls and then quick thoughts on Dylan CEC. Huh nice, Thank you, buddy. I appreciate it. 00:37:57 Speaker 3: Got to brind that turkey that said he had a turkey joke. Here, boy, turkey tips. Let's say how to Andy and Rhode Island. Hi, Andy, Hey, Budy Zon, what's up Andy, We're good. 00:38:09 Speaker 9: Hey, I missed you guys. I hope you all are doing great. I was telling Danny g you know, I had to call in today because you know, tomorrow's safe given. And you know, I'm very thankful to you guys for everything that you guys have given the audience throughout the years and are going to continue to give us. I you know, I it's just so wholesome for me to you guys to just get my thanks you guys, And I hope y'all enjoy your time with your family. And I'm always listening. This is the most fun we have, so we appreciate it. Thanks again, very thankful for the Fox Sports Radio family. 00:38:58 Speaker 3: Now Dylan cease seven years to ten if you're a baseball fan, your first thought has to be he's serious. 00:39:08 Speaker 6: What you know what? 00:39:09 Speaker 3: It shows that the pitching market is so everyone's so desperate for a front, like their front of the rotation to be strong. 00:39:16 Speaker 1: What are they doing to keep Boba Schett is what I'm wondering. 00:39:19 Speaker 3: I mean, Dylan ces since he went to the Padres two years ago, has been pedestrian at times. Last year he was eight and twelve last year with a four or five ERA. The year before that fourteen and eleven, a little over five hundred. Like if Dylan Cees is like giving you eras in the threes and fours and under five hundred for seasons. 00:39:42 Speaker 1: Went growing up, wasn't that average? 00:39:44 Speaker 3: That's like to me, that's seven years to ten. Then know what that makes me wonder? What is a guy like Paul Skiing, Skiings or schoobl going to renegotiate. 00:39:53 Speaker 1: When their time is there? 00:39:54 Speaker 2: Like all the world, what are they saying that like Cooper Flag and the wimp Ben Yamas of the world are gonna be like the first billionaire athletes. 00:40:01 Speaker 1: We're getting closer and closer to that. 00:40:02 Speaker 2: If average middle of the pack pictures like this are making that kind of money. 00:40:06 Speaker 1: Danny G you're nl Wes guy. You've seen cease quite a bit. 00:40:09 Speaker 3: I mean he was a White Sox, but then the last couple of years of Padre he hasn't done anything where you're like, oh, man, Dylan Cees. 00:40:16 Speaker 6: Just above average. And then Boba Schett to your point, Covino, rumor has it that the Dodgers might be interested in talking to shoot. 00:40:23 Speaker 3: That would be no right, but you know what, Danny, A guy like Dylan Cees was the guy that was like, oh, he's good on a bad team, so they you know, he escaped the White Sox and he was like, you know, their star pitcher on a bunk team is always a low. 00:40:40 Speaker 1: Well back. 00:40:40 Speaker 3: A couple of seasons he was a cy young candidate, but the last couple of years he's done nothing that would make me think two hundred and ten over seven. 00:40:48 Speaker 1: So that just shows the pitching market. 00:40:50 Speaker 3: He set the tone much like Kyler Murray and certain guy set the quarterback market. 00:40:55 Speaker 1: And Deshaun Watson. 00:40:57 Speaker 3: If Dylan cease to getting seven to ten, I so desperately want or what a guy like schoobl Or Schemes is gonna get like next year, like it's gonna be a sert insane, so all right. With that said, have a great night. We'll see you guys back here for DP in the morning. All Riven there you baby, see you in the Promised Land. 00:41:12 Speaker 1: I have a good one. Happy Thanksgiving everybody over Promised Land. Let's go
