WWE Raw Review: Xavier & Kofi Get Massive Heat, CM Punk Sit Down Interview, Wyatt Sicks in Action

<v Speaker 2>days away from the Saturday night main event, the in
<v Speaker 2>between ple E. It's like a you know, a C
<v Speaker 2>level pl E, but it could definitely over deliver. I
<v Speaker 2>don't see why it couldn't. It's a pl that many
<v Speaker 2>of us, if you want to call it, that kind
<v Speaker 2>of forgot about one that is a filler pl E,
<v Speaker 2>but again certainly could have major implications as we head
<v Speaker 2>towards our next real pl And I certainly think that
<v Speaker 2>given that Saturday Night it's main event is it is
<v Speaker 2>a big dealer, it used to be a big deal
<v Speaker 2>I think they're gonna try to overdeliver here. And yes,
<v Speaker 2>we kind of got some rushed matches set up this week,
<v Speaker 2>but they didn't have any time. They didn't leave themselves
<v Speaker 2>well but two weeks to actually put this pl together.
<v Speaker 2>But we've got some interesting developments as we now have
<v Speaker 2>a triple threat. Yes, expectedly, but we have one for
<v Speaker 2>the World Heavyweight Championship with Gunther, Finn Balor and Damian Priest.
<v Speaker 2>I think that is actually going to be a really,
<v Speaker 2>really good wrestling match that was gonna be a lot
<v Speaker 2>of fun. Yes, it's a triple threat. It is insanely overused,
<v Speaker 2>but it's fine. It'll be fine. This is again a
<v Speaker 2>kind of a stopgap pl in Saturday Night main event.
<v Speaker 2>So we're gonna talk about Raw, We're gonna talk about
<v Speaker 2>the Seampunks, sit down interview, the Wide Six. We're in
<v Speaker 2>action against the Final Testament in an outcome that I
<v Speaker 2>act really really liked. We have some women's action that
<v Speaker 2>continues the women's Intercontinental title tournament with Lyra Valkyria advancing.
<v Speaker 2>We had a pretty big pop for El Sky, which
<v Speaker 2>is encouraging. I don't know if damage control has finally
<v Speaker 2>dissolved quietly hopefully it has. And yes, the heat, the heat,
<v Speaker 2>the heat the heat on not Carly Doo, but rather
<v Speaker 2>New Day If you still want to call them that,
<v Speaker 2>I guess we won't. But Xavier and Kofe getting the
<v Speaker 2>dom stereo treatment type heat. It was great. It was
<v Speaker 2>great and it almost makes me want to cheer them. Now, yes,
<v Speaker 2>I'm that kind of fan with these guys where I
<v Speaker 2>boo them on their babyfaces. But I may cheer them
<v Speaker 2>when they're heels. I don't know if I go that far.
<v Speaker 2>My hatred for their character, especially Cofe's, is so deep.
<v Speaker 2>But I really enjoyed that segment. I really really enjoyed
<v Speaker 2>that segment, as limited as it was that the crowd
<v Speaker 2>wouldn't let them speak and they were like, okay, f it,
<v Speaker 2>we're out. It was good. It was I think that
<v Speaker 2>was definitely I know it was impromptu. They had lines
<v Speaker 2>to to fulfill theast bullet points. I'm sure of the
<v Speaker 2>direction they want to go, and they're like, well, well,
<v Speaker 2>the crowd's not gonna let me speak. I'm you know, deuces,
<v Speaker 2>you know I'm out. So we're gonna talk about that.
<v Speaker 2>And you know, that certainly led the show in terms
<v Speaker 2>of headlines. But first, before we get to anything, I

<v Speaker 2>going into Monday Night Raw. Let's start at the top.
<v Speaker 2>I do want to talk about it, talk about Xavier
<v Speaker 2>and Kofe, but we're gonna talk about We're gonna talk
<v Speaker 2>about Gunther coming out. That said, Okay, I said I
<v Speaker 2>was gonna talk about Covie Xavier. They did get the
<v Speaker 2>cold shoulder at the beginning of the show from production
<v Speaker 2>crew members. He even Kingston tried to bump fits with
<v Speaker 2>Alpha Academy, but they gave everyone was giving them the
<v Speaker 2>cold shoulder. So that's that was kind of a nice touch.
<v Speaker 2>So Gunther comes out, though Lillian Garcia is as we know,
<v Speaker 2>is back and it's great to hear her voice. So
<v Speaker 2>Gunther's out in non wrestling attire, in his suit, and
<v Speaker 2>then Gunther said Baler made a mistake about last week
<v Speaker 2>with Finn Balor attacking Gunther on last week's show, that's
<v Speaker 2>set up their match for Saturday Night's main event, and
<v Speaker 2>he said he now has his undivided attention. Gunther guaranteed
<v Speaker 2>that Saturday Night's main event will not end up like
<v Speaker 2>Survivor Series did for him, and then Finn Baaler comes
<v Speaker 2>out with Dom, Carlito and j D and they head
<v Speaker 2>towards the ring and Balor said Gunther could have given
<v Speaker 2>him the title shot he deserved, but instead he gave
<v Speaker 2>it to someone undeserving in Dom. Baaler agreed that Saturday
<v Speaker 2>Night's main event won't be like Survivor Series and then
<v Speaker 2>took credit for Gunther retraining I'm sorry retaining the title
<v Speaker 2>at Survivor Series, and then Balor said Gunther will lose
<v Speaker 2>the title because of him on Sunday Saturday, and Gunther
<v Speaker 2>said Baller didn't earn his title shot and that he
<v Speaker 2>is frustrated and he gets it. Gunther recalled Balor being
<v Speaker 2>the first world heavyweight champion, which is actually not true
<v Speaker 2>unless I'm he was the first universal champion. That was
<v Speaker 2>a bit of if he met universal, that's a bit
<v Speaker 2>of a flub there, But Gunther said he respected Baler
<v Speaker 2>at that time and they started taking shortcuts and now
<v Speaker 2>quote hangs out with a bunch of weirdos in a clubhouse.
<v Speaker 2>Gunther said Balor played second fiddle to Damien. Gunther said
<v Speaker 2>that Balor was best in the world for one night
<v Speaker 2>eight years ago, so he is referring to the Universal Championship,
<v Speaker 2>and he said he is the best of the world
<v Speaker 2>now and for a thousand days to come. And he
<v Speaker 2>told Balor he won't leave with the title because he's
<v Speaker 2>not at his level and will never be. That's when
<v Speaker 2>Balor and the Judgment Day get on the ring Apron
<v Speaker 2>and Damien Priest comes out and starts kicking ass and
<v Speaker 2>Gunther closeslined Priest after he did and set up for
<v Speaker 2>a power bomb, but then Balor broke it up with
<v Speaker 2>a sling blade and he had gun through with the
<v Speaker 2>coudi gras from the Apron. Priest got up but he
<v Speaker 2>was going to go for a double choke slam and
<v Speaker 2>ends up getting three coupdi gras from Finn Balor. So
<v Speaker 2>Finn Balor and Damien Priest far from over, which is
<v Speaker 2>I'm really excited about that. I was worried there for
<v Speaker 2>a hot minute. I was worried they were going to
<v Speaker 2>push it aside, like they did with Gable and Chad
<v Speaker 2>in otis right, a little bit nervous there, but they
<v Speaker 2>didn't and they're back to it. Yes, Gunther is involved now,
<v Speaker 2>but the stakes are higher because the world Championship is
<v Speaker 2>going to be on the line here as Damian Priest
<v Speaker 2>is now added, as I mentioned at the top, to
<v Speaker 2>this match between Balor and Gunther, making it a triple
<v Speaker 2>threat for the world title at Saturday Night's main event. Now,
<v Speaker 2>predictions are officially coming later in the week. In my
<v Speaker 2>mailbag show, I will do a dual show, as I
<v Speaker 2>do every pl week, and when you look at the
<v Speaker 2>card here, at least for this particular match anyway, Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>there's a extremely low, if not infinitesimally about that word
<v Speaker 2>for the day small chance that Gunther loses the belt here.
<v Speaker 2>It's as close to zero as before you actually hit zero,
<v Speaker 2>you know. So sure it's going to be a great match,
<v Speaker 2>but I don't I'm not going to give away or
<v Speaker 2>bury the lead here because I'm telling you that there's
<v Speaker 2>no chance Gunther loses. Now. Is there a universe in
<v Speaker 2>which he does. Yes, But we've seen Damian Priest's champion,
<v Speaker 2>Finn Balor, I think is a higher chance than Damian Priest.
<v Speaker 2>But right now Gunther is forging his legacy. Gunther's the
<v Speaker 2>focus here. I want Gunther to get back on track.
<v Speaker 2>And if they are getting Gunther in a position to
<v Speaker 2>face Brock Lesner, if like they were supposed to last
<v Speaker 2>year before the whole issue happened with Brock and Vincent,
<v Speaker 2>the scandal and that we all know about, that was
<v Speaker 2>the match. And perhaps perhaps I'm not predicting it, but
<v Speaker 2>if they're gonna get Gunther ready for Brock, you gotta
<v Speaker 2>have Gunther as strong as possible to make the return
<v Speaker 2>of Brock as impactful as possible. I don't need the cowering,
<v Speaker 2>fearful Gunther, the shakable Gunther that we saw with Damien Priest,
<v Speaker 2>you know, during that program last last Plee cycle. So anyway,
<v Speaker 2>let's continue here as we have. Let's see oh wwe
<v Speaker 2>hyping Jesse Finch Ventura appearing on Saturday Nights main event.
<v Speaker 2>Fine nostalgic, I guess, although even for myself at nearly
<v Speaker 2>forty years old, it's not exactly super exciting. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>for me being a nineties kid. The only thing I
<v Speaker 2>saw Jesse do was a little bit of commentary. But
<v Speaker 2>the most impactful moment for me watching live. Of course
<v Speaker 2>I've seen what he's done prior to my actual starting
<v Speaker 2>of watching in ninety seven. Is him interfering in the
<v Speaker 2>Vince McMahon Stone Cold Steve Austin program. I think it
<v Speaker 2>was ninety eight or ninety nine, and he was the
<v Speaker 2>you know, in a position of power in Minnesota when
<v Speaker 2>there during the late nineties, and he was able to
<v Speaker 2>utilize that power to I think he was forced Vince
<v Speaker 2>McMahon to put the championship on the line with the
<v Speaker 2>rock to put the championship on the line or something.
<v Speaker 2>And that's the only thing I remember was he got
<v Speaker 2>involved and he was playing the baby face that night
<v Speaker 2>to help Stone Colsey Boston. That's all I remember as
<v Speaker 2>far as watching it live. So to see him back
<v Speaker 2>on Saturday and Night main event. Sure, he's not gonna
<v Speaker 2>move a needle at all. You know, it's not gonna
<v Speaker 2>encourage people to more people to tune in or not
<v Speaker 2>tune in. It's just kind of one of those cool
<v Speaker 2>you know, if you if you're an older fan, Oh wow, Jesse,
<v Speaker 2>the Body of Venture is gonna be on Saturday Night
<v Speaker 2>main event. A lot of people are kind of be
<v Speaker 2>like he's still alive. I'm sure, all right, So we
<v Speaker 2>then have let's see the first match carrying across a
<v Speaker 2>comeries are and the miss with Scarlett taking on the
<v Speaker 2>Wide six Uncle Howdie Eric rowing Sir Loomis Joe Gacy
<v Speaker 2>eight man tag match here and the match went nine
<v Speaker 2>minutes in five seconds. Now, while the crowd wasn't super
<v Speaker 2>invested in the Wyatts, once the match got going, they
<v Speaker 2>certainly were intrigued by the entrance. And that's I mean,
<v Speaker 2>that's a positive. But the Wyatts have done a whole
<v Speaker 2>bunch of nothing lately and it had me concerned. It
<v Speaker 2>still does have me concerned that they don't have a
<v Speaker 2>long term plan for the Wyatt six. Yes, Alexa Bliss
<v Speaker 2>could be floating out there. Yes, her and Nikki Cross
<v Speaker 2>have a long history, and her and Bray Wyatt, Alexa
<v Speaker 2>Bliss and wind In Rotunda have a long history. Yes,
<v Speaker 2>all of that fits and makes sense. But do I
<v Speaker 2>want to see Alexibliss come back and just do what
<v Speaker 2>she did? No? I don't. I want to see her
<v Speaker 2>in ring. We'll see I mean again, Alexibliss. She's enjoying
<v Speaker 2>being a mom. She seems like she's back on the
<v Speaker 2>road to maybe returning to the ring, but give them
<v Speaker 2>a shot in the arm. They need too because the
<v Speaker 2>wide six. Again, they haven't done a whole bunch of
<v Speaker 2>anything lately. But is adding people really the solution. They've
<v Speaker 2>already got a whole lot of people. Is adding another
<v Speaker 2>person gonna help everybody? I don't know. Alexiblis is a
<v Speaker 2>big name though. So however, let's talk about something that
<v Speaker 2>did happen this week, and that is Carrying Cross and
<v Speaker 2>Company beating the wide six in nine minutes of five seconds,
<v Speaker 2>and the finish was fun. We had Scarlet interfere, which
<v Speaker 2>I'm glad she's started to interfere more right. A lot
<v Speaker 2>of times she was just kind of this throwback sex
<v Speaker 2>symbol type of managerial character for carrying Cross, and even
<v Speaker 2>as she got into this group of the Final Testament,
<v Speaker 2>she didn't do a whole lot, didn't say a whole lot.
<v Speaker 2>So the fact that she's starting to get physically more
<v Speaker 2>involved is a It's something that you want the manager
<v Speaker 2>to do. I don't need to her just looking, you know,
<v Speaker 2>as dapper as she can. It's about helping your team
<v Speaker 2>win and doing things to cheat to win because your
<v Speaker 2>heel team, and she tried she tripped Uncle Howdy. Nicky Cross, though,
<v Speaker 2>appeared on the broadcast table and harassed Scarlet again. I'm
<v Speaker 2>pretty sure Nicky Cross is going for the ring character.
<v Speaker 2>And we then had Cross dive onto Scarlet and in
<v Speaker 2>the ring how to he put Miz in the mandible
<v Speaker 2>claw and while the Mizz was on the floor, Paul
<v Speaker 2>Ellering threw powder in the face of Uncle Howdy and
<v Speaker 2>Cross hit his final prayer finish on Uncle Howdy for
<v Speaker 2>the victory, kind of a wild finish, a lot of
<v Speaker 2>moving parts, and the Paul Ellering returned. I know, it's
<v Speaker 2>finally something. It's good that Paul Ellering kind of like
<v Speaker 2>Scarlet is doing something. I mean, they brought Paul Ellering
<v Speaker 2>in and he's had about two lines. He's done next
<v Speaker 2>to nothing when it comes to helping his team win
<v Speaker 2>in a in a kind of an underhanded way, same
<v Speaker 2>as Scarlet. So I'm glad that these two, yes they're
<v Speaker 2>right now in non wrestling roles. That it might change
<v Speaker 2>for Scarlet, that certainly won't change for Paul Ethering, but
<v Speaker 2>in their current roles, they need to play those roles
<v Speaker 2>and maximize their roles, which is to help your team
<v Speaker 2>cheat to win. And the powder is a nice, really
<v Speaker 2>nice change of pace. It looks great even though yeah,
<v Speaker 2>sure it's just probably baking powder. Whatever, it doesn't matter.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, even if it is truly baking powder. Imagine
<v Speaker 2>throwing baking powder in your eyes. It would hurt even
<v Speaker 2>if you know you say it's no, it's just supposed
<v Speaker 2>to look it's supposed to look like it hurts, but
<v Speaker 2>it doesn't. Well, try throwing baking powder in your eyes.
<v Speaker 2>Tell me if it hurts. So it was a great effect.
<v Speaker 2>Then you know what what's great about baking powder?
<v Speaker 1>Two?
<v Speaker 2>You can see it from the first row to the
<v Speaker 2>one hundredth row. It is a very very visually pleasing
<v Speaker 2>spot because everyone can see what just happened. So it's
<v Speaker 2>it was nice powder has him been used in a while,
<v Speaker 2>and it was. It was a nice finish getting a
<v Speaker 2>victory over the wide six that was a big deal.
<v Speaker 2>Is that the first time Uncle Howdy's been pinned to
<v Speaker 2>by the way. I need Uncle Cole to come in
<v Speaker 2>with his stats. It might be usually they might have
<v Speaker 2>the team might have lost a match or two since
<v Speaker 2>they've returned. Although that I'd have to think about that
<v Speaker 2>or look it up. But I think Uncle Howdy has
<v Speaker 2>been undefeated since they returned several months ago. I think,
<v Speaker 2>so big victory, This is huge vigor. Arguably the biggest
<v Speaker 2>victory for the Final Testament is this is this victory
<v Speaker 2>over over the Wide Six. So hopefully it continues, you know,
<v Speaker 2>because I think the crowd, the crowd need to get
<v Speaker 2>in a position to be a little more charged up
<v Speaker 2>for the Wide Six. Beyond their entrance of oh wow,
<v Speaker 2>we miss Bray. They've got the same music as Bray,
<v Speaker 2>They've got the same door of light as Bray. We
<v Speaker 2>miss Bray Bray, Bray Bray. It's look, bray Watt is
<v Speaker 2>going to be missed. Absolutely. I have no issue with
<v Speaker 2>this group at all, but I've said it before, I'll
<v Speaker 2>say it again, and it's starting to rear its ugglyhead.
<v Speaker 2>They need an identity beyond Bray Wyatt living in the
<v Speaker 2>shadow of a guy that's not even alive anymore. They
<v Speaker 2>certainly got a jumping off point from it, and I'm
<v Speaker 2>glad they did, and I'm not wishing nothing but the
<v Speaker 2>success all the scuss in the world of this group,
<v Speaker 2>but they need to push things beyond Bray. They aren't
<v Speaker 2>doing the hocus pocus. That's not what I'm saying. I'm
<v Speaker 2>glad they're not doing any of that. With the bibity
<v Speaker 2>boppity boos stuff. That's good, but they need something more.
<v Speaker 2>They need to develop themselves more. I don't I'm not
<v Speaker 2>asking for more VHS tapes. Maybe group a group promo.
<v Speaker 2>You can do group home promos backstage, been doing them
<v Speaker 2>for decades, something to keep it going. But I enjoyed
<v Speaker 2>this overall, all right. So Seampunk then did a sit
<v Speaker 2>down interview speaking of it sit down interviews with Jackie Redmond,
<v Speaker 2>and she went right for the big money question, what's
<v Speaker 2>your favor? What's the favor that Paul Hayman owes you?
<v Speaker 2>And he said he and Hayman go way back in
<v Speaker 2>the favor is just between the two of them. So
<v Speaker 2>she asked the question knowing that, you know, he's not
<v Speaker 2>going to get an answer, and she didn't, and we didn't,
<v Speaker 2>and that's it's good. Imagine if he was like, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>what I asked for was, you know, a match against
<v Speaker 2>Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. I want my WrestleMania main event
<v Speaker 2>or he well, if that was a case, he'd be
<v Speaker 2>challenging for a title. Maybe it's a royal rumble entrant.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know. I don't know what it is. But
<v Speaker 2>imagine if he just kind of like, yeah, yeah, I'm
<v Speaker 2>asking him for this. Of course we're not going to
<v Speaker 2>know via that method. We're gonna know when it actually happens.
<v Speaker 2>So but you got to ask the question. And I
<v Speaker 2>appreciate the attempt at a journalisming. You know, anytime you
<v Speaker 2>tempt journalisming, it's a good thing, even if it is
<v Speaker 2>one that's in professional wrestling. We that had her Jackie
<v Speaker 2>that is ask Punk about Seth Rollins, and he said
<v Speaker 2>he doesn't hide from fights. He's more confused than anything
<v Speaker 2>about Rollins hatred of him, and he said he doesn't
<v Speaker 2>hate Rollins. Punk said a sixteen year old Rollins came
<v Speaker 2>to him and asked Punk to train him, but he
<v Speaker 2>said that he wanted him to train him for free,
<v Speaker 2>and people leave that out, that part of it out
<v Speaker 2>of the story. And he said he'd probably hate himself
<v Speaker 2>if he had to live in his shadow. And Punk
<v Speaker 2>said he did everything that Rollins did before he did,
<v Speaker 2>and said Rollins did a great job of filling in,
<v Speaker 2>but now second string has to return to the bench,
<v Speaker 2>Redmand thanked Punk for his honesty, and that was the
<v Speaker 2>end of that segment. That was a much I like
<v Speaker 2>these interviews that really create a different tone. You're not
<v Speaker 2>in front of a live crowd. You don't have to
<v Speaker 2>work off their reaction, you don't have to amp up
<v Speaker 2>your emotions. You can just speak frankly and like a
<v Speaker 2>human being. And I think there's a lot of power
<v Speaker 2>in that that we don't see a lot now. I'm
<v Speaker 2>not asking for every week for there to be a
<v Speaker 2>sit down interview, no, because the DNA of wrestling is
<v Speaker 2>to be in front of a crowd and getting a reaction, right,
<v Speaker 2>And the live crowd didn't pay to watch you on
<v Speaker 2>the Titan Tron. They could have done that at home
<v Speaker 2>for free. But what I'm saying is every now and then,
<v Speaker 2>these sit down interviews, more often than not, are an
<v Speaker 2>awesome change of pace. I don't know a whole ton
<v Speaker 2>off the top of my head of bad sit down interviews.
<v Speaker 2>The only really bad one recently that comes to mind
<v Speaker 2>is Bobby Lashley and his three sisters. Remember that? Anybody
<v Speaker 2>else that was like what four or five years ago?
<v Speaker 2>If you don't know what I'm talking about what the
<v Speaker 2>hell is he talking about? YouTube it It's horrible. It
<v Speaker 2>was also very disturbing and weird on a intentionally just
<v Speaker 2>search Bobby Lashley and his three Bobby Lashley three sisters
<v Speaker 2>check it out, all right, now, it's it's not two girls,
<v Speaker 2>one cup, all right, It's just it's nothing like that.
<v Speaker 2>But it is a little weird. The story came off weird.
<v Speaker 2>Bobby Lashley is never a great promo an exceptional all
<v Speaker 2>world generational athlete, but his interviews and promos have never
<v Speaker 2>ever ever been very effective or you know, progressive if

<v Speaker 2>take advantage of a distraction with a Pure Fusion collective
<v Speaker 2>coming out, which is Sonya, Shana and Zoe, and Kai
<v Speaker 2>put Morgan down and had to had to kick Stark
<v Speaker 2>when she reached the inside of the ring. Kai also
<v Speaker 2>threw a kick at Basler and again that's when Morgan
<v Speaker 2>tried to take advantage, but Kai uh stuffed her finisher
<v Speaker 2>and Morgan caught Kai with a high knee. Morgan went
<v Speaker 2>up top and jumped at Kai, who power bombed her
<v Speaker 2>on the way down, and then Deville climbed down the
<v Speaker 2>apron until Dakota Kai kicked her back to the floor
<v Speaker 2>and then Dakota Kai went for a kick in the
<v Speaker 2>corner that Morgan avoided, and Morgan hit oblivion and Dakota
<v Speaker 2>Kai and got the victory. So here's what I like
<v Speaker 2>about this match. It wasn't the smoothest match or a
<v Speaker 2>match that anyone coming out of raw is gonna take
<v Speaker 2>home with them and think about before they go to

<v Speaker 2>segment here, guys, so I'm just gonna skip ahead a
<v Speaker 2>little bit. Zane told Rollins that it's his business and
<v Speaker 2>he can deal with it however he wants. With McIntyre
<v Speaker 2>that is and Rollins thanks Zane, who asks Rollins if
<v Speaker 2>they're good, and Rollins told Zane they're good, and he
<v Speaker 2>appreciates Zayne letting him handle his business with Punk and
<v Speaker 2>said it seemed like Zayne had some business with McIntyre
<v Speaker 2>that he needed to handle. And Sammy Zain said that
<v Speaker 2>he's going to face McIntyre at Saturday night's main event,
<v Speaker 2>and he's on the stage as he left, and he
<v Speaker 2>gets blindsided by McIntyre through some punches. Producers ran out,
<v Speaker 2>referees ran out. So I thought effective segment here, effective
<v Speaker 2>segment and the idea though that we're supposed to buy here,
<v Speaker 2>and it's it's not the worst thing in the world,
<v Speaker 2>but that seth Rollins hates Punk because he said bad

<v Speaker 2>the time everywhere, and that Punk didn't message him back.

<v Speaker 2>not effective. It felt unnatural, She wasn't easy to connect with.
<v Speaker 2>She is much more suited for the heel role. But
<v Speaker 2>now the question is, okay, you got her as a heel,
<v Speaker 2>do something like what are you gonna do to get
<v Speaker 2>more heat on her? And they're just kind of throwing
<v Speaker 2>her with an alliance with Live which can only help
<v Speaker 2>to a certain extent. So that was actually the main
<v Speaker 2>event of the show. The women here main evented the show.
<v Speaker 2>We'll see how long the lasts. I still believe in
<v Speaker 2>I guess, I don't know, think whatever you want. Everyone
<v Speaker 2>can come to their own conclusions. But I really do
<v Speaker 2>believe that part of the reason, not all, but a
<v Speaker 2>big part of the reason that they're putting the women
<v Speaker 2>in the main event of the shows is because they
<v Speaker 2>have the Intercontinental in US Women's Championship tournaments going on
<v Speaker 2>and they're trying to give the perception that they that
<v Speaker 2>you now see we do main event to women. The
<v Speaker 2>women do main event raw. They do main events backdown, see,
<v Speaker 2>except if you look back, it's they've you know, the
<v Speaker 2>women have main invented raw two out of like twenty
<v Speaker 2>times in the last you know, twenty weeks. So I
<v Speaker 2>feel like it's a lot of show. It's a lot
<v Speaker 2>of eyewash. I don't need the women main eventing every week.
<v Speaker 2>I just want it to be one that's deserving of it.
<v Speaker 2>And a lot of times it feels like they're doing
<v Speaker 2>this so conveniently timed with the women's mid card Championship
<v Speaker 2>tournaments also going on. Again, no issue with the women
<v Speaker 2>doing it, it's just it's a little suss when it
<v Speaker 2>comes to the timing, as the kids would say. But overall,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, the match was fine. Re Ripley is a big,
<v Speaker 2>big star, one of the biggest women's stars that w
<v Speaker 2>W has right now, where Quel certainly needs a lot
<v Speaker 2>of work in her character, in development promos, understanding who
<v Speaker 2>and what she is. But overall, solid raw, and they
<v Speaker 2>did the best. WW I think did the best that
<v Speaker 2>they could with the time that they had to build
<v Speaker 2>to a Saturday night main event, and it looks like
<v Speaker 2>it's shaped up to be as good as honestly, as
<v Speaker 2>good as it can be. Are there going to be
<v Speaker 2>any title changes? Probably not. Are there going to be
<v Speaker 2>any big revelations? Probably not. But those are sometimes the
<v Speaker 2>shows that Triple H likes to surprise you with things.
<v Speaker 2>It doesn't always have to be on one of the
<v Speaker 2>Big four pls, So perhaps something big does happen. And
<v Speaker 2>I'm wrong here, but it seems like kind of a
<v Speaker 2>it's a raw or SmackDown, you know, a glorified raw
<v Speaker 2>or SmackDown. But hey, I'm looking forward to it, so
<v Speaker 2>pretty low expectations, all right, Help everyone enjoys the rest
