I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your favorite shows from the Real Housewives in Atlanta, New Jersey and my own creation, The Love and Marriage Franchise and Bell Collective. Yeah? 00:00:55 Speaker 3: Always? 00:00:57 Speaker 4: This was the first episode. I'm excited to recap the season. 00:01:02 Speaker 3: It's so funny because you came on and I saw this glow around. Oh he's got his picket, he's got his kicking his step again. Now he is redded because the last two have been a little bit of a snooze, and so I think you and I, you know, neither of us had our like our usual like wooo, like here we go. 00:01:21 Speaker 2: But this is good. 00:01:21 Speaker 3: We got a lot to unpack. 00:01:23 Speaker 2: We have a lot to unpack. 00:01:24 Speaker 4: I mean, listen, this is Y're gonna tell me so much. 00:01:28 Speaker 2: Shade is fine. I mean, honey, it's no O C. But oh my. 00:01:32 Speaker 3: Goodness, there he goes, Hey he said it. I did not Hey. 00:01:37 Speaker 4: I'm just saying, honey, it is no OC because OC honey. 00:01:40 Speaker 2: Me and Alexis was like bye bye bye. So you know, with the. 00:01:45 Speaker 4: First five episodes, it was sort of like Alexis said. 00:01:49 Speaker 2: Like, okay, let's find things to talk about. 00:01:53 Speaker 4: But our activation wasn't at as high as But I feel like starting today, listen, I'm a whole starting today with this episode, that we're able to really get some things gone right right, Alexi is a little up our trajectory. 00:02:09 Speaker 3: It's ramping it up, baby, They're ramping up. They're like, we're gonna get here. Guys, just wait that it's gonna explode. You gotta you know, you said slow burn and I didn't understand you, and you are so right. Yes, no, it's been I was not doing anything else, by the way, on this episode, I wasn't doing laundry, I wasn't answering children. I was just all focused in Okay. 00:02:30 Speaker 2: Me too, No, me too. So listen, let's get right into it. 00:02:34 Speaker 4: First thing first, I should have known this episode is going to be good because the episode began with what we call in the unscripted business of feeling reality television. We called this a round robin, right, so, ray God, Alexa is taking her head. That's why you guys gotta subscribe to my YouTube channel about this too. But so, a round robin is when you do sort of a montage of each housewives sort of day in the life for like five seconds, and. 00:03:06 Speaker 3: It's their normal life. Okay, these girls normal life is so hysterical. 00:03:11 Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, so they're doing them a round robin. 00:03:13 Speaker 4: Alexis, And Honey, when Kyle Richards rod aleccens when she walked outside and you saw a series of black cars, I'm like, what in the secret service is going on here? But the thing is this one thing about belly Hills, and I will listen. 00:03:31 Speaker 2: I will give Belly Hills. 00:03:33 Speaker 4: This the reason why the show is still very watchable, although this first five episode was boring. 00:03:42 Speaker 2: Honey, the wealth, you know what I mean? 00:03:46 Speaker 4: Alexis, I was, I was here for Kyle's car, I heard not discovering which one was, which give me that? 00:03:53 Speaker 2: I can watch that for forty two minutes trying. 00:03:56 Speaker 3: To get out and she's like, okay, she got the keep. She's like, oh it's this car. Okay, I'll take that car that She's like, how am I going to get out of here? But don't you think that? First of all, none of them are in the garage, So it's the garage are all? The garage is full? Also was my first question? Do you think that those cars are all the daughters? Also? Like one of them is each of the daughters and then hers? Yeah, so it's all their cars. But it's like, okay, so if the garages are full, what's in the garages? 00:04:19 Speaker 2: Is that there? 00:04:20 Speaker 4: I don't know, No, I'd ben think about that, like what is actually in the garage? Because but all the cars to be parked outside? And I am with you, I think some of it are her daughters. But the fact that they all in Unison have decided to purchase a black the black rain drover them it was honey. 00:04:42 Speaker 2: I literally tuned. 00:04:44 Speaker 4: It up in my seat and was like, we're in for a motherfucking show, Yes we are. 00:04:51 Speaker 2: So it was good. It was good, all right? 00:04:53 Speaker 4: So after we got a chance to see all of that. We then got a slice of life of Amanda. Friend says his live as you all know rain drops. Amanda Francis is the newest housewife of Beverly Hills, and in this scene, she's talking to her husband and she's also giving us a backstory about her life. I have to show you something, Alexis. 00:05:19 Speaker 3: I'm ready. 00:05:21 Speaker 2: So remember a few weeks ago, I said, I know Amanda. I think I bought her book. 00:05:27 Speaker 3: You have it. I need you to sign this copy for him. Okay, sign it for me. 00:05:35 Speaker 2: Rich as fuck, I bought the. 00:05:36 Speaker 3: People to read it. You did read it. 00:05:39 Speaker 2: You know what's so funny? 00:05:40 Speaker 4: Everybody keeps asking me if I read it, because they said, Carlos is so the book. 00:05:46 Speaker 3: There's no pages, pages folded. It hasn't been on an airplane with you, which is much traveling you do. It's not been stuck in a hotel like with some something spilt on it. Like it's to what you never read it? 00:06:02 Speaker 2: Alexa? Can I tell you something? 00:06:03 Speaker 3: You just like turn the bathtub with her hair up, and like even though you're gay, but like you just like that. You're like this sounds good when you can put rich as fuck and be in a bathtub with a champagne glass. I gotta get to know this woman. 00:06:15 Speaker 4: Now, alexis best probably the story. So no, I'm a big I think I'll tell you this. I'm very spiritual like you are. We're very spiritual people. And look, manifestation is really biblical if you really think about it. 00:06:26 Speaker 2: I think that's a very universal word. 00:06:32 Speaker 4: But it's really all about being biblical because a lot of this stuff is what's in the Bible. 00:06:37 Speaker 3: Like I feel like manifestation in Biblical terms is called prayer. You're just in your prayer when you pray out loud, you're actually you are manifesting because when you're praying out loud, because it says speak it from the mouth in the Bible somewhere along that. I don't know that scripture quote me, but anyway, it's speak it from the mouth, and that means pray, which is kind of the same thing as manifestation is. I mean, it's just which way to look at it. So you're right, I mean, yeah, I pray the heck out of God. Please give me a good parking spot today, please, I'm going. And you know what a lot of times it does work. 00:07:12 Speaker 2: No, So that's all it is. 00:07:14 Speaker 4: I bought the book because I was watching something she was on it and I was interested. 00:07:18 Speaker 2: So long story short, Alexis. 00:07:20 Speaker 4: I posted this yesterday on my stories and I tagged Amanda. 00:07:25 Speaker 2: Amanda responded to my DM. Look at Alexi's face. 00:07:31 Speaker 3: Hey, we are at the big time now, Carlos. Who Okay what you say? 00:07:35 Speaker 2: Did you read it? 00:07:39 Speaker 3: And you cannot look? You cannot lie because your nose will grow Pinocchio like, We're not going to having the long noses, So you can't lie. You got to tell her No, I haven't yet. But every intention. 00:07:51 Speaker 4: So the fact that you asked me that one of my friends the getting me and said, did you read the book girl? 00:07:56 Speaker 2: Because it looks too clean? But the thing is this, I okay, so this is a true story. I bought the book two years ago via Amazon, and I read a couple of chapters. But I did not finish the book. But I did read the book, Okay, I didn't finish it. Though I didn't finish it. 00:08:14 Speaker 3: Well, then you can't say you read the book. You can say I started reading the book, okay, A couple of chapters. That's good, Okay, Can I ask an honest question. Of course, you don't have to answer honestly if you don't want to hurt. I mean, I'm going to Or were the first two chapters or whatever you read, were they slow burning like Housewives has been rarely Hills has been doing right now? Or were they like you were all in and then life just got busy. 00:08:38 Speaker 2: I love you so much, you are so good. 00:08:40 Speaker 4: So the thing is this, it's a slow bird in the sense of the stuff she started talking about the beginning already knew. So I was sort of like, okay, and then to your point, I love you ale, like I says, life got busy for me. I was moving and I just forgot about it. 00:08:59 Speaker 3: I understand. And this is so much because this book right here, this book right here, I have had. It has been more continence and more cities around the world than ever before. But the reason mine has Look at how beat up it is, and look at when you flip through, look at all the pages that are turned. And then I wrote a little note, I have only made it to out of my seventy five ear Oh it's even got a little mark where you could tell I spilt soda on it. I only have made it to Johnny's like, just give up. I have made it to page hang on, okay here it is only made it to page one twenty nine. That's where Prince Harry's been everywhere. But it's a good book. The problem is my life just gets busy and I don't I don't read, so I think that's probably what happened with you. 00:09:45 Speaker 4: This is huh lair res to be so rain drops. For those who are listening, the book that alexis talking about is Harry. 00:09:58 Speaker 3: Prince Harry Fair the he wrote the memoir or about his life Spair. It's really good. I just have every time I get there. It's just like I. 00:10:08 Speaker 4: Just okay, Prince Harry will forgive you now. Amanda Prince's book, so rain Jaws, please buy. It's called Rich as Fuck. It's another one bestseller. We'll get to the whole book conversation a second. But what I thought was so amazing in terms of really diving into amanda story at the top of the episode of Lexus was we do learn immediately that she did lose a child. She gave birth to twins, one of them didn't make it. My heart bled for her, and in that moment I was like, great job producers, Great job production for allowing us to get a sense of who she is Outsida just being this money queen, because I always feel like when it comes to reality stars, you always have to find ways to humanize them by telling the audience a different story of Paul's in them always being in capite. 00:11:04 Speaker 3: So I. 00:11:07 Speaker 2: Was into it. 00:11:08 Speaker 4: Alexis as a mother, I'm pretty sure your heart was just like. 00:11:13 Speaker 3: Well, I have been and I both of mine were in niek you. They were born not eleven weeks early, thank god, but like five and a half or six weeks early, which is a long time. And one was a niek you for one week, one was ank you for two weeks. And like I mean, I can't tell you how many tears I had in my eyes because and I had to redo my makeup this morning, but I watched it this morning. But the thought of holding the baby also and the baby go taking its last breath is kind of it's so heartbreaking, but it's beautiful in a sense too. It's like Mama brought you, Mama held you when you left. Also, it's gonna choke me up, but so you know, I can totally understand when She's saying, it's such a weird day because I'm so happy because I have Caden Canaan Canna. How did you do you say his name? It's a gorgeous name, but I have him. But then we lost Nyon and so it's like I. 00:12:06 Speaker 2: Just yeah, yeah. 00:12:10 Speaker 4: It was heavy and and like I said, I really appreciated us getting to know more about Amanda than you know what we have known so far in this first six episode, So again, shout out to production for a long wants to hear that. Then after that we got a chance to see what dut is up to. And let me start by saying this, I love det when first came on the show. I told the audience it's a new bitch in town and I love her like she's outspoken, Deret had her first two to three seasons were epic. She then listened to social media alexis and became very boring just to blunt about it. And she only got activated last season when she was going through divorce and realized she had to give us something to keep her job. Now, with all of that being said, Durie has new management. And when I say this, I'm being honest about it. Okay, I'm not trying to be like a bitch about this. I don't know what Durit has to need managed. 00:13:26 Speaker 2: You know. 00:13:27 Speaker 5: I well, why she just signed a book, Deill, and we'll get to that. 00:13:40 Speaker 3: He looked the other way. He turned his head to me. 00:13:43 Speaker 4: I mean, Alexis too Deri Kimsley memoir. 00:13:49 Speaker 2: I don't need to know anything about you that I haven't already learned. 00:13:52 Speaker 4: The show Your Past eight Seasons is the memoir that I need. Stop wasting paper from trees, I think the trees. 00:14:01 Speaker 2: I'm an environmentalist. 00:14:02 Speaker 4: You are wasting paper, you are raising currency, and you're wasting my time. The idea that I Carlo's Reginald King need to know anything about Dere's life before a Housewives, I don't give two shits about it. And the idea of you having new management is to me a waste of time. It's the waste of energy that Amanda Francis talks about, and it's a waste. 00:14:31 Speaker 3: I'm gonna let you just go with that because I don't agree with you. I think it could possibly be I would have to read the first chapter and see if I'm snoozing or laughing, but or like. 00:14:39 Speaker 2: Is gonna be clean like this. 00:14:42 Speaker 3: Maybe she just needs to get naked in a bathtub and instead of fond and calling it rich as fuck, she can she can be in a bathtub with her hair and the towel and calling it cleaning wiping the slate clean, or or getting hair clean. I don't cleaning up my cleaning up my soul. 00:14:58 Speaker 2: I don't know. 00:15:02 Speaker 3: Oh gosh, I think I might. I would buy it and read one chapter and just see, just as much as I waited that book. I'm only using the F bomb because it's on her book. So how do you supposed to how do I say the work? I can't which is the. 00:15:16 Speaker 2: That's the name of the book. So you would have so elect this. 00:15:20 Speaker 4: You would read at least one chapter of Deree Kisley's memoir. 00:15:24 Speaker 3: I would one hundred percent. It would probably end up like this book, but I would try for one, one chapter, I mean, and just see and get a feel. Yeah, because I am fascinated about her for some reason. 00:15:37 Speaker 2: I do. 00:15:38 Speaker 3: I do like her. I we'll get to the end of this episode and well, you know you'll hear my two cents there. But I do I think I think she's fascinating. I think she's in treating some ways, and so I would. 00:15:52 Speaker 4: Yes, No, I agree with you. I think dere is a fantastic reality star. I think dere is fascinating. Like you said, I think Dereat belongs on the. 00:16:03 Speaker 2: Real Housewives of Billy Hills. 00:16:05 Speaker 4: And I'm so happy she decided to get back to being the star that I love the moment she came on the show. However, the idea of me going to Barnes and Nobles and picking up a book to read about your life doesn't interest me. 00:16:23 Speaker 3: Now. 00:16:23 Speaker 4: With that being said, this is what's so fascinating to me is the fact that. 00:16:29 Speaker 2: When you have management. 00:16:33 Speaker 4: I've always learned this, and you tell me if you disagree. I've always been told you don't seek our management. Management seeks out you because they're coming to you with a vision, and that's what needs to happen. So, based on this episode, it appears that Duri reached out to these two beautiful women who are very smart and successful and decided to work with them. 00:16:58 Speaker 2: The idea, my opinion, my opinion, my opinion. 00:17:02 Speaker 4: The idea that the first thing that they want to do with you is a book, to me, is missing the mark already. 00:17:11 Speaker 3: M I don't agree, and I don't know. I don't know if she sought them out or maybe they did know she was going through a tough time because she has been vocal about the fact that PK was her manager and she lost him when she lost you got the divorce. So I think there's a chance that this team could have damned her and said, hey, we've got an idea for you, or we would like to take you somewhere. But Dory could have also done it, and then they jumped on it and they're like, we're going to have the exposure on housewives. I mean, all of that could be true. You know, either one of those could be But I think the book deal, what do you think they should have done? Because I think the book deal's pretty much like, Okay, that's pretty badass. 00:17:49 Speaker 2: This is reality with the King and I'm Carlos King. Let's get back into the show. 00:17:56 Speaker 4: Well, the thing is this, unless the Tony Robbins or you're part of Oprah Winfrey's book club, you don't make that much money selling books. 00:18:05 Speaker 2: So the thing with de Rea that I do. 00:18:07 Speaker 4: Like, I think there is a fascinating personality. I would have done something more in the fashion, beauty, cosmetics, department, home goods does something about the beauty esthetic that Derey is known for. She's known for her fashions. Her house is gorgeous. She has great taste and style. So for me, I listen, DEI pay me to be a man of the girl. I'll take ten percent of seut of twenty. 00:18:37 Speaker 2: I would have done a bit, a bit, bath and beyond situation. 00:18:43 Speaker 3: But here's the problem with that, Carlos appital, you have to put money into that. In a book deal you get signed and you don't have to most I mean sometimes you do have to put you know, fifty k into it or whatever. You have to have money to put into what you're speaking about doing. She doesn't. For what we know from what we've heard on what we know or think we know, she doesn't have a lot. She talks about how she doesn't have money and she's wondering where she's going to pay her next bill. She doesn't have fifty grand sitting around right now, going okay, let me invest this or one hundred and fifty grand into this bedbounth that beyond deal with everybody, I mean not many of those places are just going to go Okay, come in and we'll use your name. I don't know. Maybe they would, and maybe that's what they need to do next. But I think that the fact that her first, you know, go around about it is that she doesn't have to pay anything to try to make a little bit of money and probably just get her name out there, some of them having a book. There's so many people that write books that you don't even know that they wrote a book, you know what I mean. It's like everything everybody tries the book thing, it seems like to me. But so I think that I'm just hoping for her to succeed and to free yourself from PK. 00:19:46 Speaker 2: Yes, no, free yourself and PK for sure. 00:19:48 Speaker 4: And she just said in this episode that look, would they show the clip of PK giving her the idea of Beverly Beach by the read and how he was her old manager again not to you know, beat a dead horse, but I've said from the beginning that he resents her because he to your point about capital, he funded a lot of his money into Duret's brand and got nothing for it. 00:20:17 Speaker 2: So the advanced money to your point again. 00:20:19 Speaker 4: Alexis when you do sign a book deal, you get an advance, and if I was to read, I would use that advance to advance my life by investing in something else and not using that money to go to Kim Kim Kardashian's closet on eBay and buying outfits for the show. 00:20:38 Speaker 3: Right right, That's very true, and maybe that's what her maybe that's what her team is thinking they're going to do. So we look at it like that. We're turning the negative into. 00:20:46 Speaker 4: A positive, is what we're doing, like we did the past five episodes. 00:20:50 Speaker 2: Okay, nah, oh you are on when today he is? But last night I was like, okay, what did you talk to im. 00:21:03 Speaker 3: Thinking into episodes to go like this instead of like. 00:21:06 Speaker 4: Yes, you'll get a different Carlos cake on. Even the episodes are good. Okay, So Kyle befoced Multiplier Richards did her job. 00:21:18 Speaker 2: Let's call it what it is. Alexis right, Kyle did her job. She took something to the spot, and she told something what Jennifer Tilly said about her behind her back. 00:21:31 Speaker 4: This is what me and Alexis like to call when producers tell you what to do. 00:21:37 Speaker 3: Well, that's true, but the other part to that's absolutely true. But the other part to that is she did it because Kyle knows it's going to air. If you do it on set, it's gonna air, so it's gonna come out later, so you have to bring it up anyway. It's not like you could say it and be like, oh, I didn't say that. The footage is right there. So she had to kind of come back around. And sometimes, Carlos, I'm going to defend these girls. Sometimes when you're in the moment, you do say something like that and then you're like, crap, that's on film, his storyline and I never meant, you know, you kind of forget sometimes because you just maybe it's not that you forget, but you just get your mouth works faster than your brain and so then its out and then you're like, oh, damn, cameras are right there. Now I'm going to have to re talk about that. And now I just called just a whole scene with my friend and I didn't mean to make this hiccup happen, So that could also be part of it. But yeah, she did her job by revisiting the situation or the conversation. 00:22:32 Speaker 4: Letting, but no, so yeah, yeah, yeah, And look, Sutton was visibly surprised what Jennifer Tilly said, and again just remind the audience. 00:22:47 Speaker 2: Jennifer Tilly told Kyle last week that it has to always be about Sutton. It's all about Ston. 00:22:53 Speaker 4: That's how she operates, and she feels like that's one of the reasons why Garcel is no longer friends with her. 00:23:00 Speaker 2: And the moment she said that, I was like, oh shit. 00:23:03 Speaker 4: Like that's the last thing something wants to hear, and Kyle told her and she looked really pissed. But I want to ask you this, as we so want to skip to Rachel Zeau's cycling party. Do you really think Alexis Janssen that Sutton waited until cameras were around to confront Jennifer Tilly about it or did she give her a heads up and checked her off camera? 00:23:34 Speaker 3: No, that was all authentic. I do not think it all They talked behind it. I think I think that was all authentic because you could see Jennifer Tilly's face when something was talking about it, and I was like, oh, she's she doesn't know where this is going. I also think Jennifer Tilly didn't remember or feel like she had almost forgotten that she had said that because she didn't say it with a malice or ill intention, like a malice heart or ill intention. She said it in the moment because she'd been bit at like five times by so she's just, you know, just it just came out. Cameras are there. And then when Sutton, you know, decided I'm gonna call it out because Jennifer's one of my good friends and it hurts my feelings. I loved how they hugged it out and just said, Okay, look we're gonna That's how real women and real friends manage her and like maneuver through the kind of things. And so I was very happy with how they worked that through. And you know, Jennifer probably shouldn't have said it was kind of a dig. It was kind of low. But at the same time, when you're the one that's been bid out five times by one of your dearest friends, you're just like, gosh, I'm just over this right now. Yeah, you're in the he of the moment you say something. 00:24:35 Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, look, the thing is this. I don't like the way talks to Jennifer. 00:24:40 Speaker 2: I I don't like it. 00:24:43 Speaker 3: Maybe this will maybe this is like a big light bulb for both of them. Okay, Jennifer said something she shouldn't have said. I'm sorry about that, and Seton should say, Okay, let me check myself and stop being so hard on my friend, you know. And and when Sutton goes back and watches that, like when she probably saw this episode, if she watches the show, I'm sure Sutton was like, I was kind of being snippy. I was kind of being a brat. You know, you can't watch that and not think you are, i mean, not pretty Brady. 00:25:08 Speaker 2: Yeah, no, and I and I agree with you. The reaction on Jennifer's face, Baby, she thought she was in another chucky movie. You know. 00:25:18 Speaker 4: She looked like she was in a horror film, you know, Alexis, her face looked like I mean, she was sort of like shivering a bit. 00:25:27 Speaker 2: It's sort of like you could tell. 00:25:30 Speaker 4: But Jennifer, she's not confrontational and she's all about having a good time. And to your point, Alexis, she had no idea how far Sutton was gonna take it right. 00:25:41 Speaker 3: And you know, I think if it had been somebody else, if it had been Amanda that had said that, we would have seen Sutton unleash. But because that was Jennifer, who is her true Off camera also, they kept they kept it in wraps and were like, Okay, we can both make mistakes. Let's move on. But heaven forbid if that had been Amanda or or Dorit or someone else, I think Suton would have lost it on them. 00:26:02 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:26:02 Speaker 4: Yeah, So Rachel Zoe decided to throw a psychic party at her home. 00:26:09 Speaker 2: Again. 00:26:10 Speaker 4: We love the lavish lifestyle being displayed. Appearing for the first time is a woman named Natalie who is the ex wife of American Idol judge Simon Cowell. 00:26:28 Speaker 3: That's right. It didn't hit me then until you just said it. 00:26:34 Speaker 2: Yes, yes, and I'm. 00:26:36 Speaker 3: Up on the screen and it didn't register it. 00:26:38 Speaker 2: She'll just offer. 00:26:42 Speaker 4: Yes girl, American Idol in addition to what's the other show he does? America's Got Talent? Yes, yes, yes, So Natalie came in. Okay, we have to get into Natalie's dress. Erica Diverford, who asked her whole dress because it was very short, it was very lacy, it was very see through. 00:27:05 Speaker 2: She looks great, she has a great body. 00:27:08 Speaker 4: Did she look appropriate or not to you, Alexis, you're a Californian girl, Was that appropriate for Natalie to wear to Rachel Zelle's Bibley Hill's home for a socking party amongst these women. 00:27:21 Speaker 3: No, yeah, that's a dress that you would wear for Halloween or when you're going to the nightclub with a bunch of EA and you want to hoe it out. Okay, but she did look good. She had like it was. It was like a swimsuit or a one piece you know, body suit underneath with the lace thing over. I think that she's just in such a few to everyone and this is the new me phase that she doesn't really care. And if you have the confidence to do it, and she did, she pulled it off just fine, then go for it. But that's definitely not a party for that event. I would definitely think twice about pulling that out. I mean, I have some dresses that are pretty risky also. But there's a time in a place, maybe even for a red carpet, for some kind of an event, when you're trying to really make a statement, you know what I mean, like okay out because a lot of these a lot of these people on the on the red carpets now are wearing a lot of the sea through stuff with just the pasties and it's like, I don't know, so I yeah, what do you think? Would you would you pull that? I mean, okay, you're not going to wear that, but would you think. 00:28:22 Speaker 2: I thought, okay, listen, I thought for I have two thoughts. 00:28:28 Speaker 4: Number one, I did not think the dress fit the attire you're supposed to wear that type of party. Yes, that's the type of dress you would have worn to box this. 00:28:41 Speaker 2: Speed dating. 00:28:42 Speaker 3: Yes. Wow, No, you're really giving the guys an idea if you wear that. They're like, okay, she will sleep with me on the first date in that dress dating. They wouldn't wear that unless I had a husband on my arm and these men. 00:29:10 Speaker 2: So that was my first thought, like, girl, there's not the right dress for it. My second thought. 00:29:15 Speaker 4: Was in her mind, she was like, this is my first scene. I'm about to be on the real Housewos of Beverly Hills. I have to look my best post divorced from Simon Kyle, who is newly married. Well, yeah, I think he's Yeah, he has well I watch his Netflix documentary. He has another child with another woman. I believe there. 00:29:42 Speaker 2: Yeah, he has a new wife. 00:29:44 Speaker 4: So I think all of that was she wore the outfit for the fact that she knew she was about to be on Bravo housewasor Belly Hills. F you to her ex husband and to your point, look, I'm I'm. 00:30:00 Speaker 3: He's like, you are so right. She's like, I'm single boys and Bravo, I'm available if you want to hire me next year. And number three, f you, Simon, look who what you lost? Those are for three points to wearing that outfit? You are so right? I okay. First of all, how fast does Simon cow have to move to already be going through a divorce, already be remarried and have another kid? He must have like, already have the girl on the side. I mean, how do you? How do you already have a kid with another girl? And I don't feel like their divorce is the thanks dry yet? 00:30:29 Speaker 2: Right? I don't know. 00:30:31 Speaker 3: I have to watch the documentary. 00:30:33 Speaker 2: No, you know these men? Honey? 00:30:35 Speaker 3: Oh wait, did you misspeak? 00:30:39 Speaker 2: Are you wrong? No? No, I have a Lizzie note. 00:30:43 Speaker 3: Okay, what do we do wrong? Lizzie? Please keep us in check? What do we do? Oh gosh, are we in trouble? 00:30:50 Speaker 2: Okay? So apparently Colonel's key made a mistake. You owned it? 00:30:57 Speaker 3: Okay, So now go back and let's talk it through, and let's tell. 00:31:00 Speaker 2: Not Simonkyle and Simon Fuller. 00:31:02 Speaker 3: Oh, Simon flo Okay, okay, that's a big one. That's why I was like, A didn't register. Oh my gosh, I saw. 00:31:13 Speaker 4: But but to my point, he's the creator of American idol. 00:31:17 Speaker 3: Okay, so you were right there. 00:31:18 Speaker 2: It was all. 00:31:19 Speaker 3: It was all in the family. You were like, you weren't quite like this, but you were here. 00:31:26 Speaker 2: You were all here, Ray Jobs. 00:31:33 Speaker 4: I'm not ending any of this out because I love when we are like, uh in the moment, this is so good. 00:31:39 Speaker 2: So sorry, y Jobs is not Simon and Kyle and Simon Fuller. But I was at least laughing at you. 00:31:45 Speaker 4: I'm in the same family, like, like Alexis said, okay, so there you go. So Simon Coyle, apologies, congratulations and a new wife and baby. 00:31:53 Speaker 2: Okay, so please don't come from me to Lessens. It was okay. 00:32:06 Speaker 4: Well, Deria arrives to Rachel's house and she tells the ladies how you know, she signed a book deal. 00:32:17 Speaker 2: They're so happy for her. 00:32:20 Speaker 4: She's telling them Alexis, Alexis. 00:32:26 Speaker 2: She tells about that she is. 00:32:28 Speaker 4: Co authoring the book and Amanda was like, oh, like a ghostwriter and a Reata's like, that's what co author is. A's a ghost writer. And Amanda goes, when I wrote up, I broke my entire book. 00:32:42 Speaker 3: And I'm gonna be easy on Amanda. This is what I was gonna say, because I was like, by it was, I was trying not to talk when you were talking. I'm gonna go easy on Amanda because of the fact of the day that she's going through on this episode. I'm I'm not going to be as hard as I would possibly have been if she wouldn't have just lost her child a year ago on that day. But okay, for I mean, first of all, it doesn't matter how you write a book. It really doesn't because if you're still getting your thoughts out, it's still you. To me my personal opinion, you have a ghost writer or you write it yourself, I don't really care if it's a good book, right, But I mean, like that had some balls to be able to say that, Carlos, She is like, what the heck? I would never in a million years have if that would slipped out of my mouth, I would have backpedaled and been like I mean, I mean I don't. I just mean that, like I just sat down. It's literally vomited. I vomited, you know, and made myself look like an idiot. But Amanda just owned it and then said it again. She said it again. 00:33:40 Speaker 2: She goes, well, I still. 00:33:41 Speaker 3: Don't understand why you're having a ghost writer. Why didn't you just write it yourself? Like, thanks Amanda for bringing this episode, because you really did kind of carry the episode. 00:33:51 Speaker 2: They carry the episode and listen. The funny thing to me is this. 00:33:57 Speaker 4: Dere's clapback was and listen, the read was on fire because she caught the shade and she immediately responded to. 00:34:05 Speaker 2: The shade by saying to right, saying to Amanda. 00:34:08 Speaker 4: Well, you must have a lot of time in your hands, which is like oh shit again. 00:34:14 Speaker 3: And it's like and it's like you've got three kids, you're supposed to four kids, are suposed to be running a business, and you sat down and wrote a book. Is kind of what Juri was trying to say, is like, well then you have a lot of time, like you you know, I'm just like, oh my gosh. So she did. She did bring it back pretty fast. That was a good, good statement. 00:34:30 Speaker 4: It was a good statement and listen, I see both sides, right, I see both sides. 00:34:35 Speaker 2: Now. Look, if I was. 00:34:39 Speaker 4: Presented and blessed with the opportunity to write a book, I'm hiring a ghostwriter, I could, Alexis, I just don't have the time to sit in front of my laptop and do that. 00:34:51 Speaker 2: I just don't. 00:34:52 Speaker 4: And I don't think there's anything wrong with having a ghostwriter or co author where you tell your your information to and they're able to jotted down on paper so that if the audience is able to read it the. 00:35:08 Speaker 2: Way it's supposed to be read. I don't any wrong with. 00:35:11 Speaker 3: That exactly, because, like if I was going to write my book and sit and write it, my thoughts would because I know the rain drops know this about me by now, but my mind is all over the place all the time, Like I have five thoughts going in and coming out all at the same time. I would not be able to sit and organize it to where it would flow. So that's also part of it, exactly what you said, having the ghost writer get your thoughts, get what you're trying to the point you're trying to make say it eloquently. I would still want a lot of the words to be mine, you know, and my little weird lexisms or whatever. But like, but then just to have it organized and put into you know, chapters that it reads smoothly. 00:35:46 Speaker 2: I'm all for it. 00:35:47 Speaker 3: I would I would totally have a ghost writer. 00:35:49 Speaker 4: Yeah, I would too, I would too. And look the thing with Amanda as as. 00:35:57 Speaker 3: I, so listen, we put his glasses back on. 00:36:01 Speaker 4: Because I want to be able to tell you guys. Amanda says she wrote her own book. And just so you know, Alexis, the book is two hundred and forty pages. 00:36:13 Speaker 2: Okay, okay, so let me read. 00:36:16 Speaker 4: You the first paragraph in the introduction. Okay, this is fun. Yes, go, and then you tell me whether or not you believe Amanda wrote this or she had a ghostriter. 00:36:25 Speaker 3: Okay, well, isn't she gonna get called out if she had a ghost writer? Is and that person gonna be. 00:36:29 Speaker 2: Like a bitch? 00:36:30 Speaker 3: I wrote that book. 00:36:34 Speaker 2: Okay, I'm gonna do it my Amanda voice. 00:36:39 Speaker 3: Okay, get it on. 00:36:45 Speaker 2: There was a time in my life where I. 00:36:49 Speaker 4: Could have told you how to sneak into every single pool at each luxury hotel in Dallas, Texas. I have become quite efficient at doing so. Here was my strategy. I wore my swimsuit under my clothes. I told the valet I was going to the spa and walked straight to the elevator. I walked into the pool area behind someone with the key. Instead of charging my guacamole and vodka soda, I'm sorry, instead of charging my guaca mole and vodka, selta to my room, I told the pool boy, I just put it on my car. 00:37:27 Speaker 3: Boy Lie, well, okay, oh it's kind of cool. It's kind of cute. I mean, okay, but okay, all right, you go. 00:37:40 Speaker 2: Not less. I've read the fucking book, you go. I read the book. Okay. So do you believe she wrote that? 00:37:53 Speaker 3: I think she could have. Yeah, No, I do think she could have wrote that. I totally do. I don't think that that sounds anything like, oh my gosh, this is such a so much beauty in this. It's so amazing that she paid someone or had someone that she gave a chunk of the book, you know, sales to, because they wrote it for her. No, I would probably have to hear a paragraph two, three and four to really see that actually does sound like Amanda. And it's intriguing that she thinks that's what's gonna cap because your first paragraph is kind of important. It's what gets it's what gets people like into the you know what I mean. So it's fascinating that she thought that, or that it even did work, that that many people loved that first paragraph enough to buy the book, because she obviously made a lot of money off of it. Yeah, so okay, there you go. 00:38:36 Speaker 6: I'm being, oh, sure, So we're going to get into Okay, so we already talked about how. 00:38:47 Speaker 4: Jennifer and Sutton happened one on one. One thing I want to say though, is I was very disappointed that Sutton never apologized to Jennifer for the way she talked to him. 00:39:00 Speaker 3: I noticed that, and that's why I think I was like, I hope that Sutton went back and watched this episode and then did call her text Jennifer and say I'm sorry. I can see where I was snippy. I was, you know that whole for two episodes. I was snipping at you. I hope that she did, but I was shocked at that. Also, I did catch that, and I did think gave a heartfelt apology Sutton. You do over one. So yeah, I agree. 00:39:25 Speaker 4: One of the things that happened later in this episode was you know, the lady said down, I have dinner. You know, Rachel Zoe's presentation was gorgeous, but of course I expect nothing less, right, I thought it was gorgeous. 00:39:39 Speaker 3: Even with the lights out. They pulled it off to a masterpiece. It was still a masterpiece, and I agree with Kyle. The candles and the lights out kind of made it more of the feeling. And aero card reader and the you know, it just kind of it brought to the atmosphere. 00:39:54 Speaker 2: I feel I grew it to I grew you. 00:39:57 Speaker 4: I thought it looked gorgeous, and I thought I thought any it's all like was set the tone and the mood for like, you know, like. 00:40:05 Speaker 2: A knife didn't party, especially outdoors. 00:40:07 Speaker 3: You'll get my table card read, you know. 00:40:09 Speaker 2: So yeah, yes. Now. 00:40:11 Speaker 4: The funniest thing to me is when Jennifer said that lady in the pink. 00:40:15 Speaker 2: With the cake look like something I fell on the floor. I thought, listen, Jennifer doesn't have a shady but on her body. 00:40:23 Speaker 4: But me, Alexa am the only one who thought I was so shady. 00:40:30 Speaker 3: I didn't take it shady to be honest, but now that you say that. Yet I didn't take it that way when I was watching it, because I guess because Jennifer Tilly's just the way she says and does. Things are so light and just the essence of this room and here we are and look at this, and I had to wear my de or you know, I don't know if she's just got this innocence to her and happiness to her that I didn't even think of shade. If someone else had said that, I probably would have thought shade. But Jennifer has me. Jennifer has me likempletely with like like I'm just I'm sitting by her. I don't think she can do any wrong. 00:41:05 Speaker 2: No, I love her. I love her. I love her. I love her. 00:41:08 Speaker 4: So they're after dinner and then listen, Derey decided to clock in and check Amanda for what Amanda was saying behind her back about. 00:41:20 Speaker 2: P K which to remind the rain drops. 00:41:23 Speaker 4: Amanda told Sutton and Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilley that she feels that Derey is pretty much talking bad about her children's father and it's. 00:41:36 Speaker 2: Going to hurt her divorce. 00:41:37 Speaker 4: In the end, Durie decided to confront her about it and what was so interesting to me is which is why again I really enjoyed this episode, because every scene made sense to get us to the culmination at the end when Amanda was getting I'm sorry. When Amanda and Ky were driving in the car, Amanda did tell Kyle, like, today's anniversary of my son's death, but my husband said just to go, someone to go, which for me, everybody handles grief differently, right, so again I understood what she was trying to do was to distract herself. And she sees the terror car reader and she even said to her like, I was hoping you would say to me that my son is going to be talking to me. 00:42:23 Speaker 2: Which I Alexis. 00:42:25 Speaker 4: I could have wept all night when she said that, because I understand that feels like wanting somebody to after life to just say like I'm proud of you, or I love you, I miss you. 00:42:37 Speaker 2: So then for dere who's in Theresa Fath, she had no idea. 00:42:41 Speaker 4: She confronts her and immediately immediately Amanda goes, I'm sorry, today is the anniversar of my son's death. I don't I just don't want to deal with this right now, And that. 00:42:57 Speaker 3: Should have been the end of it period. The women should have said, let's toast to your baby boy and love you and okay, well we'll wrap this up, torn and what the heck? I wanted to jump through that screen. As much as I love Durit, I was like, okay for a woman who just made the comment, for someone who can't read the room, or who reads and manifests, she sure can't read the room. It's like Durit said that about Amanda, but then it's like, okay, Duri, you're not reading the room when Amanda just told you she lost her son. This is the anniversary of the day he passed to me. I felt like it almost like went over Durit's head. I feel like she didn't even really hear what Amanda said. I don't think it like registered with Dured until after the scene stopped. Don't you feel that way? I felt like because Durit went back twice. 00:43:42 Speaker 2: Oh, I can tell you what Drey was doing. 00:43:43 Speaker 4: Dere already let us know that with l p que, she needs money and she's trying to figure out her life. 00:43:50 Speaker 2: The real Housebots of Belly Hills is the only check Dured has. Drey was too busy trying to secure. 00:43:56 Speaker 4: Her diamond that she was unable to secure or her humanity and be there for a woman telling you and everybody at the table are mothers that today is the anniversion my son's death. 00:44:09 Speaker 2: Even when Kathy Hilton had a slip. 00:44:12 Speaker 4: Of and ziging on your dogs, she's like, my son, everybody should have to stop there. And I'm gonna say this, I love all the Beverly Hills girls. What bothered me about that scene was that now one person said okay, guys. 00:44:26 Speaker 3: Stop, I agree. They all sat back and someone should have said, Duri put a sock in it, like for real, for right now. 00:44:33 Speaker 4: And it goes to show you how alliances are real, because let's be clear, the way they have suthence back over fucking Ivy. 00:44:42 Speaker 2: Well, you don't want to talk about Ivy. You don't have to. You don't have to talk about Ivy, you don't want to. 00:44:52 Speaker 4: But when it comes to this woman, yeah, her deceased son, you all just sat there and said, go ahead to re make good television, becau as we're pretty boring these past weeks of filming. Give us something to activate. And unfortunately Dree was so unlikable in that moment that even if you don't like Amanda, a woman telling you put a pin in it should have been it. And the fact that the re kept going, and the fact that none of those women said, guys, stop it. She lost her son today. I would have told the producers, I know what y'all want. Maybe we're not going to do this today, We'll get it tomorrow, but let this woman greet in peace. 00:45:34 Speaker 3: Amen, brother, Amen Carlos. I literally, like I said, I couldn't jump through that screen because it's just sough. It's like, it's you're right, the humanity part of it, like the compassion of what that woman was going through, and Amanda I feel handled herself with a lot of class and a lot of respect and did not. I would have lost it. I probably would have jumped across the table or been bawling and been like, I'm holding it in, guys, I'm holding it in, and I can't now because now you're attacking me. Like I feel like Amanda carried herself out through that door even when they stopped her again and wanted more of a scene, and they're gonna, you know, Okaydie's gonna apologize now and read half ass apologized. I don't even really believe the apology, gave her a hug, and I loved what Amanda said, please don't touch me right now because Draet's like wiping. I'm like, girl, I would have said the same thing, and I would have walked. I would have literally, because I've been in a scene similar, like where you're being the one at time and you're crying, you're wanting to leave. I would have just turned around and left. And Amanda stayed there like a woman and tried to keep herself together enough to finish the scene and with respect, and I just she she did a great job. 00:46:38 Speaker 2: Yeah, it was. It was baffling to me. And listen, the reason why. 00:46:44 Speaker 4: These first couple of episodes, I'm gonna just say it's boring is because the ladies and I not to put you in it, Alexis, but listen, you are a vet of reality television. The reason why it annoyed me so much is because when I look at the ladies, even at the table and watching them together, they don't want to be there, and it like the girls don't The girls aren't invested in having conversations or real moments like they They're just there getting a check and nobody's nobody's like being present. 00:47:24 Speaker 3: Do you feel so you feel like they're you feel like they're not wanting to clock in? None of them? 00:47:30 Speaker 4: No, oh absolutely not Erica Jane would have been outspoken. I will give Kyle her pouse for chasing after Amanda. So Kyle, to me, was the only one who did something that I thought match. 00:47:44 Speaker 3: Elton, who made Durrika apologize. She was. I feel like Kathy was clocked in. 00:47:49 Speaker 2: Yes, yes, shout out to Kathy Hilton. Hilton and the Kyle and Kathy were the all stars to me, the rest of the ladies and Amanda and. 00:48:00 Speaker 4: Amanda of course, but to see something, to see Erica, to see Rachel Zoe, none of them do anything was weird to me and be the gall of anyone. And I want to get your opinion. They made it seem like a lot of There are some not a lot. There are some people on social media saying this that Amanda use her son's death as a way of not trying to. 00:48:31 Speaker 2: Get into it with Deree and I called bushing on that. 00:48:34 Speaker 3: Oh Amanda, Amanda, for her to even say to dree Well, I wrote my own book, why are you getting a ghost writer like that, there is no way that she's trying to avoid a conflict. She didn't want to have a go to toe to toe at a dinner party when she did just get done with that tarot card reading where she was asking to hear from her son, which I can I can totally feel and understand that she wanted one sign from her son and thought she had that opportunit. So then to sit at the dinner table, she just was not in the mindset to go toe to toe with another woman. She's not. She like she said, she needs to go hug her family and just lay on the couch with her family, and that's what she needed to do. So I'm glad she did leave the party early. 00:49:12 Speaker 4: Yeah yeah yeah, Then like you said, Kathy Hilton is telling to read like go apologize to her and to read like she didn't want to do it, and then she finally does it, and listen Amanda shout out to her energy. 00:49:27 Speaker 2: She felt to read energy like you you. 00:49:29 Speaker 4: You're not doing this because you're sincere, Because if you were sincere, you wouldn't have continued to try to attack me when I'm telling you, I don't want to get into this right now. And on top of that, you touch her face. T got to be glad Amanda's reflex. Then touch your face with a ball of this. 00:49:59 Speaker 2: Yeah. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes yes. 00:50:02 Speaker 4: But I was I was shocked at Dere's behavior because I thought to myself, although I love with Deree clocks in, I thought Derey had enough sense to be like, as a mother of two, there's two small children at that, Like Duri's kids are not teenagers. So a mother of two small kids, I thought would have said, as much as I want to give good television or whatever, I can't do it. 00:50:32 Speaker 2: I can't do it tonight. I just can't. 00:50:34 Speaker 3: And anyone that's held their own child in their hands knows that, and even people that haven't can. I mean, if you have a dog, if you have a fish, you have anything, you can probably feel what it feels like to lose something, or you've lost a parent. Everybody has people know what loss feels like. But for your child, it's a totally different universe. It's a different universe. But like Duri's held two children in her arms that she birthed, so I would have thought that the compassion would have instantly been there without a slip up like what happened, and I really hope next episode we we do see Darit make an authentic, true apology after the dust is settled and she's actually, you know, thought through what just happened. I do have faith in Dereite that she's probably or maybe it's going to be the reunion. I feel like Durit's going to give a sincere apology. I do. I think she'll have to settle, and you don't. 00:51:20 Speaker 2: I don't think so. 00:51:21 Speaker 4: No, I don't think so because listen and again I'll keep saying this, I love Deif for this show, and she's great television. Right, Dereit doesn't have the emotional intelligence to have empathy for her in that moment, to take accountability of sincerity. 00:51:41 Speaker 2: I don't see it. 00:51:42 Speaker 3: I feel like you're right about that for right now. I think why it's happening right now with deret is because Dereit is already so low. She's in a very selfish mode. She's in a very much like I've got to be. I've got to protect myself. My world has crumbled. I don't know where my next paycheck is going to come from if I lose this job, like I think she's I think she's just in a selfish era because of where she's at in her life. I don't think that if we watched this last season, you know, and things weren't or whatever. I don't know when all the turmoil between her and PK started, but when she was not in such a bad spot in her own life. I think Derey has compassion, Like Kevin, don't you think she cares about people. She's just in a She's just in a dark place, and being in a dark place doesn't give you a lot of ability to have compassion for other people. Okay, Carlos does not agree with me at all. He is periercing his lips and squinting, like, I don't believe you're the dark Okay. 00:52:37 Speaker 2: So I think Derey is a excellent. 00:52:41 Speaker 4: Mother because she deeply loves her children and it shows. I've said it from day one, one thing about Derey. She's an excellent mother. I think Derey cares about her children for sure, and I think the buck stops there.
