<v Speaker 7>have been friends for over twenty years. Basically when he
<v Speaker 7>started with Big and Rich was just when I got
<v Speaker 7>the job at CMT. And it's funny because we would
<v Speaker 7>run into each other at you know, these industry things,
<v Speaker 7>and we were both it was kind of like, don't
<v Speaker 7>tell anyone we scored these great gigs. Are they going
<v Speaker 7>to figure it out soon? That we have no idea
<v Speaker 7>what we're doing. We're kind of like the scrappy little
<v Speaker 7>punks that got good jobs, you know. And so we
<v Speaker 7>just knew each other for years and just kind of
<v Speaker 7>had that in common that we you know, we used
<v Speaker 7>to go to see each other shows at twelve and
<v Speaker 7>quarter and stuff before you know, either really had anything
<v Speaker 7>great going on. So it was kind of just something
<v Speaker 7>nice that we had in common. And then years and
<v Speaker 7>years later we ended up single at the same time.
<v Speaker 7>And I always thought he was pretty awesome. And he
<v Speaker 7>got Caddy Facebook because that's the way the kids meet now.
<v Speaker 8>She tried to pick me up.
<v Speaker 1>Really, so you reached out to him on Facebook?
<v Speaker 7>No, he he commented on a couple of things, and
<v Speaker 7>I was kind of like, oh, because it came across
<v Speaker 7>my feet.
<v Speaker 8>I wasn't stopping yeah at that point.
<v Speaker 7>And then yeah, I was kind of I thought he
<v Speaker 7>was pretty awesome. I wonder what he's up to now,
<v Speaker 7>and so I kind of like stalked his profile and
<v Speaker 7>I was like, oh, maybe somebody's available.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, Hi, back, that got makes that got
<v Speaker 1>makes it. He's got a job. He actually makes money.
<v Speaker 7>I know, right, So yeah, kind of.
<v Speaker 8>Then she asked me out. Then she kissed me.
<v Speaker 7>It's not how it went he asked me out, but
<v Speaker 7>I think I kissed him first.

<v Speaker 2>And I moved to Nashville and was kind of like
<v Speaker 2>my going to university, you know, and then met Keifer
<v Speaker 2>and he and.
<v Speaker 1>She met the doctor at the time. Yeah. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>was sixty three and when we met.
<v Speaker 2>No, I just want to say, when I heard that
<v Speaker 2>you guys were dating and like series and stuff, I
<v Speaker 2>was like, Oh, this is amazing. They're like perfect for
<v Speaker 2>each other. We were cute, so sweet, it really is.
<v Speaker 7>Yeah, you know, we just clicked. I mean it was
<v Speaker 7>this is so like kind of cliche, but it really
<v Speaker 7>was kind of like we do on the first date. Yeah,
<v Speaker 7>I mean that it's like okay, well, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Well that's how it was. That's kind of how it
<v Speaker 1>was with us, you know. So Adam's done a lot
<v Speaker 1>of things. Katie has also done a couple of things.

<v Speaker 1>There was a few. She's the host of the CMT
<v Speaker 1>Hot twenty Countdown. And I want to know about this

<v Speaker 7>Yes, so Wide Open Wonders. I started a podcast of
<v Speaker 7>paranormal uh podcast on Yeah. Yeah, I've been interested in
<v Speaker 7>this my whole life. So you guys are into this too.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, yeah, we have some stories very paranormal.
<v Speaker 7>I've been having whacky experiences my whole life, you know,
<v Speaker 7>and it's something I've always done. I want to say,
<v Speaker 7>I was like all in the closet with it, but
<v Speaker 7>you know, I had a few friends that were into it,
<v Speaker 7>but I was always kind of the geeky person that
<v Speaker 7>would go to the UFO conferences by myself and just
<v Speaker 7>sit in the back, and I had kind of my
<v Speaker 7>own library and would follow all the people in the
<v Speaker 7>genre and was always really obsessed with it. But I
<v Speaker 7>just sort of found my courage in recent years to
<v Speaker 7>just talk a lot more openly about it. And everybody's like, oh,
<v Speaker 7>well you should. You know, you know how to interview people.
<v Speaker 7>You should be interviewing because they're kind of my rock stars,
<v Speaker 7>you know, in addition to obviously I'd love music. Music's
<v Speaker 7>my life too. But all these researchers, I've been following
<v Speaker 7>them since I was a teenager, and I was like, wow,
<v Speaker 7>you know, if I actually get into this, I could
<v Speaker 7>I could meet them, I could actually sit and have
<v Speaker 7>these conversations that I've been dying to have. And and
<v Speaker 7>so I just dove in last year and started Wide
<v Speaker 7>Open Wonders and you can you can watch it on YouTube.
<v Speaker 7>I really like it when people watch the videos because
<v Speaker 7>they can see who I'm talking to, and I kind
<v Speaker 7>of geek out with the editing and put images in
<v Speaker 7>and all of that. But you can also listen on

<v Speaker 7>really big passion of mine.
<v Speaker 1>I just we had an experience in Gettysburg.
<v Speaker 3>At the Farnsworth House.
<v Speaker 1>Have you heard of the Farnsworth House in Gettysburg?
<v Speaker 7>I think so yeah, so you should happen.
<v Speaker 1>So you should go there and stay. So we did it.
<v Speaker 1>There's a video I think on YouTube somewhere I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>but we stayed in the it's supposed to be one
<v Speaker 1>of the most haunted, uh places in the world.
<v Speaker 7>Yeah. It's a hotel though, but you can request like
<v Speaker 7>a certain room.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Right, so there's three rooms or four rooms. And uh,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, like so many people died in the in
<v Speaker 1>the Civil War there and it was one of the
<v Speaker 1>bloodiest battles and the whole thing they when they built
<v Speaker 1>the high school there, they when they were building the
<v Speaker 1>football field, they unearthed like a mass grave of like
<v Speaker 1>three thousand people and just really really strange. And so
<v Speaker 1>we stayed at this house A very long story short.
<v Speaker 1>We all tried to stay up as late as possible
<v Speaker 1>because you know, there was no one else in the hotel,
<v Speaker 1>nobody else in there is just the guest and then
<v Speaker 1>all the other the employees and stuff aroun a different building.
<v Speaker 3>We were on radio tour at the time. Yeah, so
<v Speaker 3>we had.
<v Speaker 2>Our radio rip from our record label with us and
<v Speaker 2>also our tour manager and our tour manager was supposed
<v Speaker 2>to stay in Jeremy's room, which is a child that.
<v Speaker 3>Had passed there and he's still there.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's supposed to have a lot of activity. However,
<v Speaker 2>a Christian, our tour manager, would not stay in there.
<v Speaker 2>He wound up staying in the room with our record
<v Speaker 2>rep and they stayed up all night basically because he
<v Speaker 2>was freaked out. But Keith, yeah, Keith and I we
<v Speaker 2>stayed in the McFarland room, and it is absolutely the
<v Speaker 2>one that's got the most activities.
<v Speaker 1>It was freaking scary, is what it was. And holy crap, man,
<v Speaker 1>I'm telling you.
<v Speaker 2>We had we all going to bed around I don't know,
<v Speaker 2>three two or three o'clock in the morning.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, just right around the witching air a good time
<v Speaker 1>to go to bed.
<v Speaker 2>And we went to sleep pretty quick and immediately started
<v Speaker 2>experiencing stuff.
<v Speaker 3>I heard a child like at the end of the
<v Speaker 3>bed say hi, and like plain as day. It was.
<v Speaker 2>It was so crazy. And then what else happened? Help
<v Speaker 2>me here?
<v Speaker 1>Well, she felt someone like you know, like when you're
<v Speaker 1>a kid and you lay down in bed and your
<v Speaker 1>grandma would come and she would like pat the covers
<v Speaker 1>on your leg, and so someone did that to her
<v Speaker 1>and then she felt like like a bird or something
<v Speaker 1>flop flopping its wings, like right next to your.
<v Speaker 3>Underneath the cover.
<v Speaker 2>Like it woke me up and it sounded just like
<v Speaker 2>a bird flapping its wings.
<v Speaker 1>So we woke up the next morning and I was like,
<v Speaker 1>oh my god, you're not going to believe what happened
<v Speaker 1>to me, because so what happened to me was it
<v Speaker 1>was I was just laying there and I lay on
<v Speaker 1>my side, and something turned me over on my back
<v Speaker 1>and laid down on top of me and wouldn't allow
<v Speaker 1>me to speak. So I'm staying with your wife. It
<v Speaker 1>wasn't my wife, No, she never, she never lays on
<v Speaker 1>top of me and doesn't allow me to speak. I'll
<v Speaker 1>leave it alone. But uh yeah, So whatever this entity was,
<v Speaker 1>it was completely pushing me in the bed and I
<v Speaker 1>was trying to yell Sean, and I was going I couldn't.
<v Speaker 1>I couldn't speak at all. And so then and then
<v Speaker 1>I just went out, just passed out, just right back
<v Speaker 1>out again. And that happened twice, and I'll go.
<v Speaker 2>The same thing happened to me that when we started
<v Speaker 2>like telling each other the stories. The next morning, after
<v Speaker 2>I heard the kid's voice, I was like trying to
<v Speaker 2>say Keith, Keith, like trying to ask him if or
<v Speaker 2>keeper if he heard it, and I.
<v Speaker 3>Couldn't say his name.
<v Speaker 2>I was just like, it wouldn't let me speak.
<v Speaker 3>It was insane.
<v Speaker 2>We've never had We've always been curious about the paranormal,
<v Speaker 2>but I had never experienced it.
<v Speaker 1>I always thought it was kind of just bs. But no, no, no,
<v Speaker 1>it's not.
<v Speaker 8>It's not.
<v Speaker 7>I can promise you it's not. And you know, I
<v Speaker 7>always say people, it's okay to be skeptical until it
<v Speaker 7>happens to you, and then you're in a club where
<v Speaker 7>that you want to be or not. And so I
<v Speaker 7>don't mind if people are skeptics, but I always just say,
<v Speaker 7>don't be cruel. Don't be cruel about it, because when
<v Speaker 7>it's happened to somebody, it can be really traumatic. I mean,
<v Speaker 7>some people have wonderful experiences and some people are traumatized
<v Speaker 7>for life. So just don't put people down.
<v Speaker 1>I did not have a wonderfulest. I pooped in my pants.
<v Speaker 1>I did that. I did that thrice number five. But
<v Speaker 1>you know, we went down to we went down to
<v Speaker 1>breakfast the next morning, you know, and this lady was
<v Speaker 1>making this food or whatever, and we're like hey, she said,
<v Speaker 1>do you have a good night. We're like, hey, no,
<v Speaker 1>and nothing happened to the other couple that were there,
<v Speaker 1>like no, it was a really it was a really
<v Speaker 1>shitty night. And and I said, have you ever stayed here?
<v Speaker 1>She's like, oh my god, no, I would never stay here.
<v Speaker 1>And I was like, why is that? I said, have
<v Speaker 1>you ever seen anything? And she said yeah, she said,
<v Speaker 1>I'm the only one in here when I'm cooking. And
<v Speaker 1>I looked. I saw something like in the corner of
<v Speaker 1>the like a doorway, and she goes, I looked over
<v Speaker 1>and there was a Civil War soldier standing there, and
<v Speaker 1>she thought that they was it was during the enactment
<v Speaker 1>to where it was someone here, you know, from the
<v Speaker 1>streets or whatever. And she watched and he just goes.
<v Speaker 1>They just dissipated into the air, and she was just
<v Speaker 1>stood up. She's like, no, I'm not going to stay
<v Speaker 1>here anymore. But she still works there, you know, but yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we've it was it was quite an experience. But have
<v Speaker 1>you ever had anything like.
<v Speaker 7>She You know, you might be sensitive so it doesn't
<v Speaker 7>happen to everybody, So you guys might actually, you know,
<v Speaker 7>just be a little more in tune. I mean, if
<v Speaker 7>you ever want to go ghost hunting, it's good to
<v Speaker 7>have people with you that have had experiences, because I
<v Speaker 7>do think we're tuned a little differently.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, what's the weirdest thing that's happened to you?
<v Speaker 7>You know, I honestly couldn't even tell you here, it's busy.
<v Speaker 7>I've seen feld heard ghosts, had out of body stuff, telepathy.
<v Speaker 8>I mean, I'm just.
<v Speaker 7>There's when it comes to the paranormal. At this point,
<v Speaker 7>I think I've experienced almost all of it. It's crazy
<v Speaker 7>and I don't know why. I mean, when I was
<v Speaker 7>a kid, it terrified me and I would try to
<v Speaker 7>tell people about my experiences and they were just like,
<v Speaker 7>you're cute, you have a good imagination, Like, no, this
<v Speaker 7>stuff is really happening. It really took me a long
<v Speaker 7>time as an adult to find the right people that
<v Speaker 7>I could really talk to and bond with over it
<v Speaker 7>because it doesn't happen to everybody. I don't know why.
<v Speaker 7>But yeah, you're talking about a soldier. I saw a
<v Speaker 7>soldier in London and I have scoured the internet trying
<v Speaker 7>to figure out what time period this soldier could have
<v Speaker 7>been from because I can draw what he was wearing,
<v Speaker 7>but I can't find the war he would be from.
<v Speaker 7>And yet I was absolutely sure he was a soldier
<v Speaker 7>and watched him go through a doorway where there wasn't
<v Speaker 7>a doorway. It was just wild. But when that's why
<v Speaker 7>I got the chills a minute ago and you were
<v Speaker 7>talking about the soldier that that woman saw, because I'm
<v Speaker 7>still trying to figure out what war this soldier could
<v Speaker 7>have been from.
<v Speaker 1>Wow, have you like seek to has like a historian
<v Speaker 1>or anything like that to try to find that out.
<v Speaker 7>No, that's a really good idea. I mean, it was
<v Speaker 7>in London and there was something very French about his outfit.
<v Speaker 7>I don't want to go down that whole rabbit hole,
<v Speaker 7>but I think that's a good idea. Is maybe I
<v Speaker 7>should just sketch it out and get with somebody who
<v Speaker 7>But you would think on the internet i'd be able
<v Speaker 7>to match it up, but I haven't yet.
<v Speaker 3>Well, I can't wait to listen to the podcast. I'm

<v Speaker 7>No, I really focus on ufology because that's my biggest
<v Speaker 7>passion is UFOs and Aliens. And but there's a couple
<v Speaker 7>great just go story episodes and I'll get into cryptids
<v Speaker 7>a little bit you know, I used to laugh about
<v Speaker 7>the whole Bigfoot thing, just like, God, come on, that's
<v Speaker 7>so out there. And man, I've met some people in
<v Speaker 7>recent years that have absolutely changed my mind on that too,
<v Speaker 7>So I'll be going down that.
<v Speaker 2>So I'm sure you heard the recent story about the
<v Speaker 2>American Airlines pilot that, Yeah, have you heard any more
<v Speaker 2>about that?
<v Speaker 3>Like, have they followed.
<v Speaker 7>Through with well no, I mean American Airlines is saying
<v Speaker 7>contact the FBI. You know, I don't think. I haven't

<v Speaker 7>doesn't really He plays host to all these little worlds
<v Speaker 7>that live within him. So there's all these characters picture
<v Speaker 7>like the Muppets, but it's going on inside your body,
<v Speaker 7>and there's all this cause and effect. He's not aware
<v Speaker 7>of them, they're not aware of him, but they're equally
<v Speaker 7>curious about their universe. And it brings up a lot
<v Speaker 7>of themes that it's just good for kind of young readers.
<v Speaker 7>Just like I said, what goes around comes around cause
<v Speaker 7>and effect and getting people to getting young people to
<v Speaker 7>think macro and micro is really important to me. We
<v Speaker 7>need to kind of understand our place big and small.

<v Speaker 1>came from a song I was. I was dressing Cooper
<v Speaker 1>one morning and I was like, singing socks socks one
<v Speaker 1>by one. Putting on your socks could be so fun.
<v Speaker 1>And Sean was like, is that a song that you
<v Speaker 1>like your mom used to sing to you. I was like, no,
<v Speaker 1>I just made it up, because you need to go
<v Speaker 1>downstairs and finish that. So I went downstairs and finished
<v Speaker 1>the song and then we played it for our management
<v Speaker 1>team and they were like, we need to turn this
<v Speaker 1>into a book. So we found this illustrator I think
<v Speaker 1>she's from Chili maybe, and uh we sent us some
<v Speaker 1>photos and man, she just knocked it out of the
<v Speaker 1>park with the artwork and uh yeah, so we had
<v Speaker 1>a book really quick. And then you know, we went
<v Speaker 1>to our agency, which is a big one, and it
<v Speaker 1>was almost like it's not big enough. The margin wasn't
<v Speaker 1>it wasn't attractive enough, you know, So we really, honestly
<v Speaker 1>we just kind of put it out on.
<v Speaker 3>Our own, just self published.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and uh, I think, you know, in hindsight, I
<v Speaker 1>probably should have seeked out a different publisher for them
<v Speaker 1>who lives in that world and with the with the
<v Speaker 1>ideas that we had coming behind that, because I just
<v Speaker 1>kept writing kid songs after that. So I've got a
<v Speaker 1>couple more than actually one of them that me and
<v Speaker 1>Cooper actually wrote together, so I want to put that
<v Speaker 1>one out as well. It's called Imagination, and he still
<v Speaker 1>I mean, we wrote this song like what two years ago,
<v Speaker 1>and he still walks around and sings the melody. So
<v Speaker 1>I thought, well, it's probably something to pay attention to
<v Speaker 1>if he's if he's still into that.

<v Speaker 2>Oh my gosh, it's crazy how quickly he's growing.

<v Speaker 7>I guess I signed in like ninety eight or ninety nine,
<v Speaker 7>and then I guess left around two thousand and three
<v Speaker 7>or two thousand and four. Okay, yeah, I had a
<v Speaker 7>band called Reno. But then the band, I mean they
<v Speaker 7>God blessed him. They spent a lot of money, honestly,
<v Speaker 7>sent us around the world, Old got us on TV.
<v Speaker 7>I mean, we were doing lots of stuff. And then
<v Speaker 7>the band broke up, and so then I was kind
<v Speaker 7>of solo artist, but we never really figured out. I
<v Speaker 7>kind of was bringing them these songs I liked, and
<v Speaker 7>they weren't really digging them, and we just kind of
<v Speaker 7>got stuck, and then CMT just really took off from me,
<v Speaker 7>and so I finally just said, you know, I don't
<v Speaker 7>really want to give up on music, but I'm just
<v Speaker 7>so busy with the TV thing and.
<v Speaker 1>How did you how did you get into that gig?
<v Speaker 1>The CMT thing?
<v Speaker 7>Gosh, well, it's a funny story. I'll try to make
<v Speaker 7>it short. I'm sorry, baby, I'm doing all the talking.
<v Speaker 1>He's so much more interesting way.
<v Speaker 8>Beverage.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, Sean was more interesting than me is. I know,
<v Speaker 1>those guys just kind of sit there and let you
<v Speaker 1>girls talk.
<v Speaker 7>Oh, he's going to go refill his beverage. But I
<v Speaker 7>will make this the short version of the story. So basically, uh,
<v Speaker 7>I still I actually still have my record deal, but
<v Speaker 7>you know, I wasn't touring it or anything because my
<v Speaker 7>band broke up, so I'd like no income, and the
<v Speaker 7>heck am I going to do? So I was trying
<v Speaker 7>to put together a new band because I wanted to
<v Speaker 7>keep doing my artist thing, but I was like seriously
<v Speaker 7>running out of money. And I used to cut hair,
<v Speaker 7>and a airdresser friend of mine said, why don't you
<v Speaker 7>come back and do hair? And I was like, no,
<v Speaker 7>I'm an artist and this is what I'm going to do.
<v Speaker 7>I'm just not going to go back to anything I
<v Speaker 7>used to do. And she was like, yeah, but you
<v Speaker 7>need the money, right is it. Yeah. She's like, just
<v Speaker 7>come answer the phone, sweep the hair, like whatever, just
<v Speaker 7>you know, make some money. So I was in the
<v Speaker 7>salon one day and I heard one of the other
<v Speaker 7>stylists say, oh, I hear CMT wants VJs. You know,
<v Speaker 7>they need hosts. And I was like, oh, I know
<v Speaker 7>somebody over there. I'll call and get you an audition.
<v Speaker 7>So I called someone who kind of worked there and said,
<v Speaker 7>you know, how do I get my friend an audition?
<v Speaker 7>And then they were like, well, you know you should
<v Speaker 7>audition too, because they're looking for a guy and a girl.
<v Speaker 7>And I was like, I'm an artist acting about that.
<v Speaker 7>They were like, you know, it could be a good gig,
<v Speaker 7>you know, for six months or a year or whatever.
<v Speaker 7>And I thought, okay, what the heck. So I went
<v Speaker 7>to the audition no expectations. I didn't even have a headshot.
<v Speaker 7>I mean, I was like so artists land, I had
<v Speaker 7>fire engine red hair, my nose piers, my lip piers, like.
<v Speaker 1>I can't see this. Yeah, I want to see the teats.
<v Speaker 7>Oh, I'll show them to you. I mean I look
<v Speaker 7>nothing like normal and they were like, wow, you actually
<v Speaker 7>read the you know, the que cards really well and everything,
<v Speaker 7>but you know your look I don't know. And I
<v Speaker 7>was like, well, this is how I look. Take it
<v Speaker 7>or leave it. So I went home about well, they're
<v Speaker 7>not going to call me back. And they called me
<v Speaker 7>back a couple of weeks later and they're like, we
<v Speaker 7>really like you. We really hate the way you look.
<v Speaker 7>I was like, what do you want me to change?
<v Speaker 7>And they're like, you know, like everything, and I was like, face,
<v Speaker 7>I brought it off again. I was like, this is
<v Speaker 7>not the gig for me. I was still trying to
<v Speaker 7>figure out, you know, like putting another band together. But
<v Speaker 7>then they called back again. They're like, you're like literally
<v Speaker 7>down to like our last few that we really like
<v Speaker 7>and we've like looked at like two thousand tapes of people.
<v Speaker 7>And then I was kind of like, god, I could
<v Speaker 7>meet Dolly Parton and actually have a paycheck, Like I
<v Speaker 7>probably should actually really consider this. So cut my hair off,
<v Speaker 7>bleached it out, took the nose ring out, and I
<v Speaker 7>went in and actually really went for it because at
<v Speaker 7>that point it hit me, what a great job it
<v Speaker 7>could be, right and it will be twenty years this.
<v Speaker 3>Wow, congratulations on that. That's amazing.
<v Speaker 7>Yeah, it's kind of crazy.
<v Speaker 1>Well, and from all that, so you went, you started music.
<v Speaker 1>Then you started doing the CMT thing. And obviously once
<v Speaker 1>a musician is always a musician, and that never I
<v Speaker 1>think that pool never let's go fully. You know, there's
<v Speaker 1>always something there. So I'm really curious is when you
<v Speaker 1>guys started dating and beyond did you was this ever?
<v Speaker 1>Did you guys ever talk about doing music together or
<v Speaker 1>was it just you fell in love and that was
<v Speaker 1>the thing and then you figured that out afterwards.
<v Speaker 8>No, I think we did.
<v Speaker 9>When we were first dating, we were like, wow, how
<v Speaker 9>cool is it to be with somebody that loves music
<v Speaker 9>and writes songs? And you know, she was working on
<v Speaker 9>her solo record that you still haven't done anything with.
<v Speaker 9>I was working on my own stuff that I kind
<v Speaker 9>of musicians.
<v Speaker 1>Man, Yeah, we do stuff.
<v Speaker 9>Well, you know, I think what what what kept us
<v Speaker 9>individually from doing our own things was the lack of
<v Speaker 9>something that made us really believe in it. And we
<v Speaker 9>did that for each other and we we talked about
<v Speaker 9>writing together and started to write together, just the Nashville
<v Speaker 9>kind of rite, like, hey, how about this, Let's see
<v Speaker 9>we can write a cool song that we could pitch.
<v Speaker 1>You know.
<v Speaker 8>I had a pluger at the time, so it was like,
<v Speaker 8>let's see what we can do.
<v Speaker 9>We wrote a couple of things and with some friends
<v Speaker 9>never okay, but then it was like, man and the
<v Speaker 9>idea of, wow, it would be so cool if we
<v Speaker 9>had songs together, you know, when we go places and
<v Speaker 9>we could just sing, because neither one of us ever
<v Speaker 9>really did that, like at a party with friends sing
<v Speaker 9>as one of your songs, you know. But the way
<v Speaker 9>our stuff together, a suncat started to happen, just kind
<v Speaker 9>of happened. I got an idea on guitar.
<v Speaker 8>I think it was you don't Know Love Yeah, and
<v Speaker 8>I'm like, check this out.
<v Speaker 9>It's kind of Fleetwood, Mackie Crosby, Stiles and Nash and boom.
<v Speaker 8>We wrote a song, and then over the.
<v Speaker 9>Next like like two weeks, we wrote like seven songs
<v Speaker 9>or no, to be realistic, four or five songs I
<v Speaker 9>think in two weeks.
<v Speaker 8>But it was like bam, bam bam. Every other night.
<v Speaker 8>I was like, hey, how about this We're like just
<v Speaker 8>sitting in bed overlooking the creek in her old place,
<v Speaker 8>just like yeah, now this blah blah blah. And it
<v Speaker 8>just was like, Bam, we're supposed to do this.
<v Speaker 7>We loved singing together, Yeah, I had. Honestly, i'd sort
<v Speaker 7>of given up on Really I still love to write.
<v Speaker 7>I've never been the best singer, but I love singing.
<v Speaker 7>I love being on stage. I love entertaining, and you know,
<v Speaker 7>I I'm always the person that can't stand still on stage.
<v Speaker 7>I want to run around and just be crazy. I
<v Speaker 7>just kind of love the energy of it. I've never
<v Speaker 7>technically been an amazing singer, but our voices, Yeah, but
<v Speaker 7>when we sang together, we were kind of like kind
<v Speaker 7>kind of like our voices better together than a part even.
<v Speaker 7>It was that kind of thing. And so it kind
<v Speaker 7>of for me reignited. You know, the writing had never stopped,
<v Speaker 7>but for me really thinking I was going to sing again,
<v Speaker 7>I don't know, it was kind of slipping away from me.
<v Speaker 7>So he helped me revive that for me.
<v Speaker 8>And honestly, the coolest we sound to me is when
<v Speaker 8>we sing in Unison.
<v Speaker 9>Yeah, there's something about for some reason, when we sing
<v Speaker 9>in Munison, it's.
<v Speaker 8>Like, that's cool.
<v Speaker 2>It was funny that you mentioned Fleetwood Mag because we
<v Speaker 2>were listening earlier and Kiefer goes, man, this is so cool.
<v Speaker 3>It's like, it's so Fleetwood Mag.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. And I heard a lot of like different Like
<v Speaker 1>I heard a lot of Beatles stuff in there. I
<v Speaker 1>heard some Dylan influence in there, and like just several
<v Speaker 1>things just kind of really popped out and kind of
<v Speaker 1>judging from the backdrop of the room, you had the
<v Speaker 1>son over here on the wall and you got the
<v Speaker 1>curtain there, and you know, so do you guys, Are
<v Speaker 1>you guys kind of like as far as like on
<v Speaker 1>that plane of like that era of music and that
<v Speaker 1>kind of free, free flowing kind of mindset of of
<v Speaker 1>of music and writing.
<v Speaker 8>Absolutely, yeah.

<v Speaker 9>In fact, we're working on some a song that we
<v Speaker 9>wrote together with with Dino from Jim's band, and uh,
<v Speaker 9>She's like she came down and told me I needed
<v Speaker 9>to mute about everything I played on it.
<v Speaker 8>Almost everything. She's like, no, that's that's that's horrible. That's horrible.
<v Speaker 8>That's horrible.
<v Speaker 9>That's horrible in a good way. She's the best producer ever,
<v Speaker 9>not horrible. She's like, can I help you make this
<v Speaker 9>sound not dated. But she instantly went for we need
<v Speaker 9>backward stuff. We need George Harrison on an acid trip,
<v Speaker 9>you know. And I think that's kind of where we
<v Speaker 9>both kind of come from, right, you know. It's that seventies, sixties,
<v Speaker 9>good eighties, maybe some good nineties.

<v Speaker 1>There was tough. The nineties were tough on us.
<v Speaker 8>Yeah it was tough, but yeah we lived there. We

<v Speaker 7>And even I have a fourteen year old daughter and
<v Speaker 7>she spends seventies vinyl on her record player, like she's like,
<v Speaker 7>it just sounds better. I'm like, yeah, it does, it

<v Speaker 1>is like our music was the best and you and
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, man, I really think during the seventies, eighties

<v Speaker 1>metal and all the great rock, and all the great rap,

<v Speaker 1>with a guy Named Willie, mack another artist from a
<v Speaker 1>few years. Ago he's back In texas, now but really
<v Speaker 1>great friend of mine and really talented. Guy but we
<v Speaker 1>we were writing a serious song and then my dog
<v Speaker 1>came in and he was standing on the edge of
<v Speaker 1>the sofa and the ac was blowing him in the
<v Speaker 1>face and it's a little yorky and his hair was blown,
<v Speaker 1>back you, know AND i was, like, man this dog
