<v Speaker 1>you know. Well the first time I saw you, here's
<v Speaker 1>here's a good one. The first time I saw her,
<v Speaker 1>she wasn't there. What what do you mean, Jim? Was
<v Speaker 1>it a billboard? Perhaps? Maybe on Oh, I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>Old Roots sixty six and Springfield? Was that? Yes? The
<v Speaker 1>answer is yes, it was on a billboard, and she
<v Speaker 1>was correct me if I'm wrong, Actually, don't correct me
<v Speaker 1>if I'm wrong, just let it lay. You did the
<v Speaker 1>last smoking ad, cigarette ad for a billboard?
<v Speaker 3>Well, I mean I don't know if it was the last,
<v Speaker 3>but probably close to when you were stopping doing you're advertising
<v Speaker 3>for cigarettes. I was the Virginia Slims model.
<v Speaker 1>Yes she was.
<v Speaker 3>And if for anyone out there that doesn't know this,
<v Speaker 3>Virginia Slims was cigarettes.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, so and kind of pitched for women.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, yeah, definitely for women. So they always had me,
<v Speaker 3>you know, laying in a bed.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, and whenever someone would light up a Virginia Slims
<v Speaker 1>there was a soundtrack that went bow Down, Now Down,
<v Speaker 1>Luca Bohunt, bow Down, now Down.
<v Speaker 3>Well, and you know, I think it was one of
<v Speaker 3>my most recognized campaigns because they stopped you from being
<v Speaker 3>able to advertise inside of magazines, so I always got
<v Speaker 3>the back of the magazine. I was always put on
<v Speaker 3>the back, which is perfect because how many magazines do
<v Speaker 3>you see?
<v Speaker 2>They're always fla over.
<v Speaker 3>Yes, you would think that when you book of Virginia Slims,
<v Speaker 3>you're like, you know, I'm gonna be kind of in
<v Speaker 3>a little corner in a box.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, I got the back of the cover.
<v Speaker 1>That's pretty good.
<v Speaker 3>Every time, monthly, everywhere. And then Virginia Slims sold to
<v Speaker 3>Marlborough m marbl So you probably saw.
<v Speaker 1>Did you meet the Marlborough Man?
<v Speaker 2>I say, no, I might have.
<v Speaker 1>Oh damn it. I can't compete with the Marlboro man.
<v Speaker 2>Well, that's why I was saying.
<v Speaker 3>When you saw the billboard, you might have seen the
<v Speaker 3>Marlborough ad where they combined Virginia Slims and Marble together.
<v Speaker 3>And we were both riding on the same horse, smoking away.
<v Speaker 1>And then you had your first child nine months later.
<v Speaker 1>Is that what you're trying to say? Here? Does Christopher
<v Speaker 1>know this? Oh my gosh, All right, fine, fine, next question.
<v Speaker 2>But that is a true story.
<v Speaker 3>So we went out to Missouri to the Devil's Washpan,
<v Speaker 3>that's right, and Jim told me we were driving down
<v Speaker 3>Old Root sixty six and he told me that the
<v Speaker 3>billboard that I had was just down the street from
<v Speaker 3>his place. Still, well, we went out there, what three
<v Speaker 3>months ago, and it's gone, they've taken down.
<v Speaker 1>It was peeling, Yeah, but for a long time, unbelievable.
<v Speaker 1>It was really kind of cool.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, And so how weird that here we are now
<v Speaker 3>we're married, so we should probably give the background story
<v Speaker 3>onto how that all went. And that's kind of funny.
<v Speaker 3>So I think you're saying that you manifested me into
<v Speaker 3>your life.
<v Speaker 1>I think, actually, yes, because that's the law of attraction.
<v Speaker 1>You were attractive and that was the law.
<v Speaker 2>So see, I'm sure you're wife and yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, well, well you know, it's water under that bridge.
<v Speaker 1>I have a trivia question for you for the world.
<v Speaker 1>Does anybody out there happen to know Margaret's connection to

<v Speaker 3>Well, obviously I don't know what year he passed away,
<v Speaker 3>but I.
<v Speaker 1>Would Well, well he wasn't in the shoots.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, yeah, Well I got booked.
<v Speaker 3>I got picked to do a anniversary addition for Penthouse,
<v Speaker 3>and in that anniversary.
<v Speaker 1>Of Geographic.
<v Speaker 3>Different In that anniversary, they booked Hendricks's house because they
<v Speaker 3>use it as a location. It's just a beautiful, just
<v Speaker 3>phenomenal and so when I showed up on set, it
<v Speaker 3>was Jimmy Hendrick's house and we had so many struggles
<v Speaker 3>because and we can't show the pictures on the podcast.
<v Speaker 1>But well there's like two that we could show.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, maybe we could.
<v Speaker 3>He had such imagery all over the house that had
<v Speaker 3>a lot to do with cults. And I know there
<v Speaker 3>was a staircase that led to the kitchen. The house
<v Speaker 3>is just phenomenal if you ever can go to where
<v Speaker 3>you should, But there's a staircase going up to the kitchen,
<v Speaker 3>and the wall was a painting with vines everywhere. But
<v Speaker 3>when they had me standing in front of it, when
<v Speaker 3>you looked at the picture, it was snakes. It was
<v Speaker 3>all snakes and they were turning into snakes.
<v Speaker 1>Wow.
<v Speaker 3>And this photographer was trying to stay away from all
<v Speaker 3>of these things. So we went all over the house.
<v Speaker 3>I mean I went into every single room. His bedroom
<v Speaker 3>was unbelievable. He had this Master four poster bed but
<v Speaker 3>the posters went I want to say, twenty feet high.
<v Speaker 3>And then the ceiling was the ceiling was a dome
<v Speaker 3>with a sky, but I had cherubs and angels all
<v Speaker 3>over it. And then you would see like a like
<v Speaker 3>a demon's face in the dark navy blue because then
<v Speaker 3>it would go dark into some places and nice, I
<v Speaker 3>mean it was.
<v Speaker 1>Wild little baby angels, demons. Oh yeah, perfect. Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>So that that was a very interesting shoot, and I
<v Speaker 3>do believe that they closed it down after that, So
<v Speaker 3>I was the last person that a crew went in
<v Speaker 3>to shoot. They no longer offered that anymore. And I
<v Speaker 3>do believe you could tour after that, but you couldn't
<v Speaker 3>use it as a location. And I mean, I would
<v Speaker 3>love to show those those pictures one day. There's so
<v Speaker 3>many that haven't come out that are just phenomenal.
<v Speaker 2>About that house.
<v Speaker 1>Well, unbelievable. Yeah, picture, I mean you've got like slides
<v Speaker 1>of pictures that.
<v Speaker 2>Are up to hear cases.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's crazy, yes, but yeah, it'll be a little
<v Speaker 1>special bonus for you. For you maybe.
<v Speaker 3>I have so many people who find out that I
<v Speaker 3>did that name immediately start texting me what year was it?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah? That much? Was it exactly? Which was the exact month? Yes?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, so that was interesting. So yes, that's my
<v Speaker 2>connection to Hendrix.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but you but you don't have a staple mark
<v Speaker 1>on your tummy, so that's good. Yeah, from the fold
<v Speaker 1>out or what that'sh now.
<v Speaker 2>But I mean I did get to do I did
<v Speaker 2>a lot of runway.
<v Speaker 1>So I well that was your mainstay, Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>It was, I did. I did a lot. I actually
<v Speaker 2>had a nickname called the Tranny, believe it or not
<v Speaker 2>that is. So this was yeah.
<v Speaker 3>Back in the nineties, and it was because if the
<v Speaker 3>makeup artists didn't know how to do my makeup the
<v Speaker 3>right way, it tended to make I look like a
<v Speaker 3>man that was, you know, dressing up.
<v Speaker 1>That was really bad makeup that they were.
<v Speaker 3>You know, it was because well I was very thin
<v Speaker 3>and I just have really hard jawline and cheek lines
<v Speaker 3>and forehead and you know, I've got a lot of
<v Speaker 3>German in me, and so they they had to be
<v Speaker 3>a good makeup artist put it that way. If it
<v Speaker 3>was somebody that was just kind of learning, they didn't
<v Speaker 3>know how to do it. So I think that's funny
<v Speaker 3>that that we have that because I did see a
<v Speaker 3>comment under one of the pictures you and I did.
<v Speaker 3>Someone said, that's a man.
<v Speaker 2>That's a man.
<v Speaker 1>Talking about me about me, she's damn it.
<v Speaker 2>So yeah, so Runway was perfect.
<v Speaker 3>You know, I'm almost six feet tall, and uh, it
<v Speaker 3>was at the time, you know, it was the early nineties.
<v Speaker 3>Voluptuous was in if you if you had curves, they
<v Speaker 3>wanted it, even though those curves were still hardly any
<v Speaker 3>But basically, you know, Versace liked.
<v Speaker 2>Voluptuous women.
<v Speaker 3>He wanted people with a chest, and so it was
<v Speaker 3>a perfect timing for me to come into that. I
<v Speaker 3>had just had Christopher, you know, I was nursing. I
<v Speaker 3>went to some agencies.
<v Speaker 2>They were like, man, this is great, off you go.
<v Speaker 3>But I will say my worst experience ever was with
<v Speaker 3>a celebrity and auditioning.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, so.
<v Speaker 1>Is this a celebrity model or anybody?
<v Speaker 3>No, no, no, bit way, bigger, way, bigger. I mean
<v Speaker 3>I have stories with them too, but they were so
<v Speaker 3>nice and sweet.
<v Speaker 4>No.
<v Speaker 3>I I was living in LA. There wasn't a lot
<v Speaker 3>of print work going on. You know, you had to
<v Speaker 3>be in New York. I had been living in Montreal
<v Speaker 3>when I started. So when I really started, when I
<v Speaker 3>actually was serious, and I signed with Wilhelmina in New
<v Speaker 3>York and coming to LA was kind of like the
<v Speaker 3>death of modeling for me because there wasn't anything going on.
<v Speaker 3>And my agent emailed me and she said, you can
<v Speaker 3>go an audition for Madonna's Runway show. And she was
<v Speaker 3>doing this. Do you guys remember the aids? She went
<v Speaker 3>and raised money for AIDS and she would do she
<v Speaker 3>would perform concerts, but then she would have models walk
<v Speaker 3>and so you would walk in her concert, and it
<v Speaker 3>was a tour and we went all over the United
<v Speaker 3>States and Canada, and I remember somebody called me and said,
<v Speaker 3>everybody's showing up in Doc Martin's and work boots, like
<v Speaker 3>the women. Where the highest pair of heels you have
<v Speaker 3>and the shortest you have.
<v Speaker 2>You know, you want to look totally different. We do.
<v Speaker 2>We're down here.
<v Speaker 3>It was a closed restaurant and they were auditioning all
<v Speaker 3>of the models.
<v Speaker 2>So I went down there.
<v Speaker 3>I threw on a pair of gold I want to say,
<v Speaker 3>four inch heels, and I wore a tennis skirt and
<v Speaker 3>a tank top and I thought this is perfect.
<v Speaker 1>Kind of like what you're wearing now well and.
<v Speaker 3>Asked, yeah, maybe no. And as a Canadian, we always
<v Speaker 3>say sorry. We always apologize, So it's just a habit.
<v Speaker 2>So like if you do something and you screw up,
<v Speaker 2>you go, oh.
<v Speaker 3>Sorry, sorry, sorry sorry. I mean you'll notice that if
<v Speaker 3>you go to Canada, everyone's saying sorry. So I get
<v Speaker 3>in there and there she is, and she's sitting in
<v Speaker 3>this big, wicker like peacock chair at the back of
<v Speaker 3>the restaurant and the floor is all taped off, and
<v Speaker 3>they take you in and they tell you what your
<v Speaker 3>mark is and you got to go. And I went
<v Speaker 3>down and I turned before I hit the tape where
<v Speaker 3>you're supposed to go, and I went, oh, I'm sorry, sorry,
<v Speaker 3>and instead of just continuing, she got up out of
<v Speaker 3>her chair and she gave it to me like there
<v Speaker 3>was no tomorrow. And I remember I was bright red.
<v Speaker 3>I was so so embarrassed, and she was like, what
<v Speaker 3>the fuck is this?
<v Speaker 2>What? Sorry? It swearing?
<v Speaker 3>She she went off on me to the point where
<v Speaker 3>everyone was just kind of looking and like, oh my goodness,
<v Speaker 3>like what just happened? And so then I got told
<v Speaker 3>to go wait in this room. So I didn't know
<v Speaker 3>if that was like the scolding room or the room
<v Speaker 3>where like you didn't make it. They were keeping everyone
<v Speaker 3>really separate. And I went in there and there was
<v Speaker 3>the sandwiches and they had come, you know, they brought
<v Speaker 3>these box lunch sandwiches for everybody.
<v Speaker 2>And I said, oh, what are these for?
<v Speaker 3>And they said, oh, it's for you know, Madonna and
<v Speaker 3>her she had somebody else with her, and they said
<v Speaker 3>they're going to, you know, take lunch break now.
<v Speaker 2>And I'm sitting in that room, I'm like, oh my god.
<v Speaker 3>And so they open it up and they're putting on
<v Speaker 3>on the sandwich. Whatever she had ordered, Well, I might
<v Speaker 3>have put something in the sandwich.
<v Speaker 2>And I remember that. Cater looked at me.
<v Speaker 3>And he couldn't believe it, and he's like, that's that's
<v Speaker 3>Madonna's sandwich, and I said, I don't give a shit.
<v Speaker 2>He started laughing, and I.
<v Speaker 3>Said, are you going to tell on me? Because then
<v Speaker 3>you don't have a sandwich for her? And he was like,
<v Speaker 3>I can't believe you did that. Anyway, she's great. She
<v Speaker 3>specifically said she didn't want one thing on it, and
<v Speaker 3>he was telling me he was reading over the list
<v Speaker 3>and I put it on it.
<v Speaker 2>It was Mustard, big deal, And.
<v Speaker 1>So you thought it was something else, didn't you.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, well that's my PG story.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah it is.
<v Speaker 3>So I'm sitting there and I'm waiting and I'm waiting
<v Speaker 3>and I'm waiting and i think it's almost three hours
<v Speaker 3>and I'm still waiting and everybody's done, and you know
<v Speaker 3>who she hired me?
<v Speaker 1>Oh ding ding Ding ding Ding.
<v Speaker 3>And the reason why I got hired was solely because
<v Speaker 3>I didn't wear Doc Martin's oh wow. And they found
<v Speaker 3>that very refreshing. And she was pissed that I was
<v Speaker 3>apologizing because she just thought that I shouldn't have done that.
<v Speaker 3>I should have been owning it. Oh and you know,
<v Speaker 3>I had it explained to me later. And what was
<v Speaker 3>really special about that was that's cool. The first kickoff
<v Speaker 3>of it that I did for the tour was in Montreal,
<v Speaker 3>So that was great because I was back home. I
<v Speaker 3>had just had Cameron, and she didn't care if you
<v Speaker 3>were skinny or you know, if you hired, you were hired.
<v Speaker 3>And I flew in my mother in law and my
<v Speaker 3>family and everyone came and watched it, and we went
<v Speaker 3>down and we rehearsed, and then I went did the
<v Speaker 3>tour throughout the whole United States for that, and then
<v Speaker 3>I would go to Europe twice a year and I
<v Speaker 3>would do all of the shows and travel and it
<v Speaker 3>was just so much fun. And I would take Christopher
<v Speaker 3>with me and everyone would help watch like it was
<v Speaker 3>just it was a great part a great time in
<v Speaker 3>my life life.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Wow, what great memories those are?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, I have a lot of I have a
<v Speaker 2>lot of stories.
<v Speaker 3>It was back in the day where you know, nowadays
<v Speaker 3>everybody texts and and the girls, the it girls, I guess,
<v Speaker 3>are on social media, they're on Instagram or oge.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah.
<v Speaker 3>We didn't even have cell phones then, so you kind
<v Speaker 3>of you had to know where to go and where
<v Speaker 3>to be seen in like New York, Paris, La. It
<v Speaker 3>wasn't It wasn't like you could look up on social
<v Speaker 3>media or.
<v Speaker 1>Some magazines social media, and they.
<v Speaker 3>Really did keep it a secret, so like if you
<v Speaker 3>started getting invited and you were kind of being around that,
<v Speaker 3>I mean, it was really the heyday, I would say,
<v Speaker 3>of of modeling, because the models were also transferring over
<v Speaker 3>to being on camera, like Cindy Crawford, I remember when
<v Speaker 3>she was getting into acting, Linda Jalisa, like all of
<v Speaker 3>the girls I was with. The problem for me was
<v Speaker 3>I kept having kids, so then you know you're pregnant,
<v Speaker 3>so you stay.
<v Speaker 1>In fact, I didn't do a lot of modeling.
<v Speaker 3>I did a huge shoot and I never told them
<v Speaker 3>I was pregnant until I showed up and thank god,
<v Speaker 3>the stylist knew what to do.
<v Speaker 2>I still have that shoot.
<v Speaker 3>Actually, it was for Vogue, big, big layout, and I
<v Speaker 3>was able to cover it and I think I was
<v Speaker 3>like maybe five months pregnant then, and that's when my
<v Speaker 3>agent was getting really bad and saying, like you have
<v Speaker 3>to make up your mind.
<v Speaker 2>But you know, Christopher was already born.
<v Speaker 3>I didn't want him to be that far in advance
<v Speaker 3>from years separate from Cameron and then Katrina.
<v Speaker 2>So eventually Heidi Kloon came.
<v Speaker 3>And that's when everyone was doing the Victoria's Secret and
<v Speaker 3>everyone was getting there and I had gone.
<v Speaker 2>I did one ad for them as the T shirt
<v Speaker 2>BRA model, and then that was it.
<v Speaker 3>I had taken one too many times off, one too
<v Speaker 3>many breaks, and to try and get back into it,
<v Speaker 3>and there was really no point anymore. I had moved
<v Speaker 3>back to Vancouver, I was raising my kids. It was
<v Speaker 3>just a different time in my life. So I felt
<v Speaker 3>like I got to bow out very gracefully. It wasn't
<v Speaker 3>like I was still trying and I just couldn't get
<v Speaker 3>another kid. It's like I had Katrina. I just turned thirty.
<v Speaker 3>I think that, you know, she was maybe maybe I
<v Speaker 3>was twenty nine. I was a perfect time to segue,
<v Speaker 3>and I did get taken back. When I was in
<v Speaker 3>my mid forties, Gina Baron, who was my agent at Wilhelmina,
<v Speaker 3>asked me if I would do this sophisticated division, and
<v Speaker 3>that was for women that were older and the.
<v Speaker 1>Only probably thirty five year olds. Yeah, no, they were
<v Speaker 1>really old.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think you have to be fifty plus at least,
<v Speaker 2>that's what I was saying.
<v Speaker 3>So she was like, this is perfect. You're forty five.
<v Speaker 3>You'll get in there and you know, build your book
<v Speaker 3>and by the time you're fifty, yeah, you'll be doing it.
<v Speaker 3>But I had to go to New York again, So
<v Speaker 3>how do you do that when you have kids and
<v Speaker 3>a family and you're situated. So I just passed on
<v Speaker 3>it and here I am.
<v Speaker 1>Wow.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, and now now I'm getting asked to model again,
<v Speaker 3>which is super exciting. And I might be the plus
<v Speaker 3>plus division.
<v Speaker 1>Well plus is good division, it's got to be better.
<v Speaker 3>But yeah, I'll do a Nivia campaign, not a problem,
<v Speaker 3>Yeah you will.
<v Speaker 2>I'll do an anti wrinkle, sure.
<v Speaker 1>Why not?
<v Speaker 2>Or a peptide a pep talk or a pe peptide
<v Speaker 2>like weight loss. I'm just kidding anyway. So yeah, that's it.
<v Speaker 2>That's my little story there of my venture.
<v Speaker 1>That's a damn fine story. Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>Well, fast forwards. And we're both living in Los Angeles and.
<v Speaker 1>What are the odds? Right?
<v Speaker 3>My kids are going to school out in this great your.
<v Speaker 1>Young girl, that's pretty cool. She was a babysitting age. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>and I needed a babysitter. Oh.
<v Speaker 3>And you know it's really funny the story to that,
<v Speaker 3>because people will know this too. So I had a
<v Speaker 3>girlfriend and her son played football with producer Chris, and
<v Speaker 3>she called me up one day and she said, oh,
<v Speaker 3>you know, I know somebody who really needs a babysitter,
<v Speaker 3>and I think you should meet him. I really think
<v Speaker 3>you should meet him. He would be perfect. He's just
<v Speaker 3>recently single and you need to meet him. And well,
<v Speaker 3>we'll let producer Chris tell us who that was.
<v Speaker 4>That. That was none other than Peter Webber from Bachelor Fame.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, his mother. His mother was the famous.
<v Speaker 3>Yes Barbara Barbara Webber, and she really wanted to introduce
<v Speaker 3>Jim and I.
<v Speaker 2>So she said, well, why don't you meet him?
<v Speaker 1>Have I got a girl for you? Yeah?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, And she said, well why don't you meet him
<v Speaker 3>because he does need a babysitter. He works a lot,
<v Speaker 3>he's got the two young girls at home. And like

<v Speaker 3>of myself and I texted to Barbara, and Barbara text

<v Speaker 2>Everyone started cheeriot clap. You know, I remember I went
<v Speaker 2>bright red. I've never ever been to one of these before.
<v Speaker 2>Everyone was all turning around, and.
<v Speaker 3>Of course Jim had to point me out, so it's
<v Speaker 3>bright red. Anyway, I didn't go up to the mic,
<v Speaker 3>and then at the very end because everyone kept nudging
<v Speaker 3>me sitting beside me. So when they had the last guest,
<v Speaker 3>I thought, oh why not, and I went up to
<v Speaker 3>the mic.
<v Speaker 2>And you look like you've seen a ghost.
<v Speaker 1>No, I was. It was just fine. Yeah, But what
<v Speaker 1>was my answer?
<v Speaker 2>Well, I think that they wanted to know.
<v Speaker 3>Well, yeah, the question was what character shows up in
<v Speaker 3>the bedroom, and so I just let him know about
<v Speaker 3>what characters show up wherever they all show up. Wait

<v Speaker 3>In the beginning of this podcast saying I met Jim
<v Speaker 3>in twenty ten, but Jim and I kind of had
<v Speaker 3>a up and down relationship for several years.
<v Speaker 2>He had a lot going on with his ex wife
<v Speaker 2>who would kind of get.
<v Speaker 3>In pop out, and that would get very very stressful.
<v Speaker 3>Oh yeah, and then you uninvited me to Club thirty three,
<v Speaker 3>where you were the host for a dinner's worry because
<v Speaker 3>I was already in California, but I had just moved
<v Speaker 3>to Arizona, so I didn't have a dress, So you
<v Speaker 3>uninvited me because we only had like two hours together there.
<v Speaker 1>I was gonna spa.
<v Speaker 3>I was bad one for sure. However, you made up
<v Speaker 3>for that one, I hope. So, and there was no
<v Speaker 3>way we could get down to Anaheim and I buy
<v Speaker 3>a dress for within two hours, So that one, I
<v Speaker 3>kind of you know you got to slide, but that
<v Speaker 3>would have been fun to have gone.
<v Speaker 2>But that's not my story.
<v Speaker 3>My story is when I think it was twenty fifteen,
<v Speaker 3>I was visiting you and we were hanging out and
<v Speaker 3>we really felt like things were real quiet, things were
<v Speaker 3>real nice. You had the girls, you had had the
<v Speaker 3>girls full time for several years by now.
<v Speaker 2>And I was sleeping in the spare room. Do you
<v Speaker 2>remember this?
<v Speaker 1>Oh okay?
<v Speaker 2>And you came down and you knocked on my door
<v Speaker 2>and you came in. Do you remember.
<v Speaker 3>And you came in and you sat on the edge
<v Speaker 3>of the bed and you said, so listen. Oh, it's
<v Speaker 3>going to make me cry, you said.
<v Speaker 2>So listen.
<v Speaker 3>I've been thinking about it, and I know that I'm
<v Speaker 3>not very good looking, and I know i'm older, and
<v Speaker 3>I know you could do a lot better, but I
<v Speaker 3>think we kind of get along right right. And I
<v Speaker 3>just couldn't believe that that you were like telling me
<v Speaker 3>all these things that you felt weren't good for me
<v Speaker 3>about you, and it just touched my heart so much,
<v Speaker 3>and I just felt so bad, and I just felt
<v Speaker 3>so bad that I made you feel that way, because
<v Speaker 3>that wasn't how I felt about you at all.
<v Speaker 2>And I remember I was telling this story to.
<v Speaker 3>David Hater and we were talking about and I just
<v Speaker 3>started crying. And then he said, why does that make
<v Speaker 3>you cry? And I said, because I just felt like
<v Speaker 3>I was so selfish. I was so I was so
<v Speaker 3>caught up in life and what people would think and
<v Speaker 3>how it's supposed to look, and how what I thought
<v Speaker 3>and envisioned in my life that I came across as
<v Speaker 3>so shallow to you that you would have thought that
<v Speaker 3>I didn't want to date you because.
<v Speaker 2>You're shorter than me.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, okay, Basically it wasn't that. Your shallow was
<v Speaker 1>more probably of an insecure.
<v Speaker 3>On my No, I know, But then I felt like too,
<v Speaker 3>because why weren't we getting together because we've we've been
<v Speaker 3>knowing each other for years, and whenever we got together,
<v Speaker 3>we got along so well.
<v Speaker 2>So that's my most cherished memory of you.
<v Speaker 3>I can I can picture the bedding on the bed,
<v Speaker 3>I can picture that whole moment.
<v Speaker 2>It was so sweet, and I think that was kind
<v Speaker 2>of the end of it.
<v Speaker 3>And honestly, if you hadn't to come and said that
<v Speaker 3>to me like that, I don't know where we would
<v Speaker 3>have been. Because I like to kind of be a
<v Speaker 3>free spirit and float all around. And I think if
<v Speaker 3>you hadn't mentioned that, and I hadn't have really sat
<v Speaker 3>back and thought about it, probably would have just continuing
<v Speaker 3>on doing what we were doing.
<v Speaker 1>Oh good, I'm glad I spoke up. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I.
<v Speaker 3>Special my special memory of of you trying to pitch
<v Speaker 3>yourself to me.
<v Speaker 1>You know, hey, yeah you can get the stuff off
<v Speaker 1>the top shelf, and that's we're fine.
<v Speaker 3>And I do know that you really enjoyed Cape Town.
<v Speaker 3>When we went to Africa for three months, that was phenomenal.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that was good.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that was a beautiful time.
<v Speaker 3>And when Jim came back, people thought Jim and had
<v Speaker 3>plastic surgery.
<v Speaker 2>You looked so good and you didn't. It was just,
<v Speaker 2>you know, we got a trainer, we worked out.
<v Speaker 1>It was.
<v Speaker 2>It was so.
<v Speaker 3>Inexpensive in Cape Town and beautiful, and we would move
<v Speaker 3>around every like three weeks. We would go to a
<v Speaker 3>different party and experience a different city, a different house.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and the coldest ocean period the ocean.
<v Speaker 2>I can't even describe how cold that is.
<v Speaker 1>It's like, yeah, you stick your foot in and then
<v Speaker 1>you can't move your leg.
<v Speaker 3>You know, when you like try and dip your head
<v Speaker 3>into the ocean, or like you want to wet your
<v Speaker 3>hair and it's just so cold, so you're just like
<v Speaker 3>barely barely trying to get your head wet. It was
<v Speaker 3>like that, but on your feet. I mean yeah, and
<v Speaker 3>then you still had to get in the rest. I
<v Speaker 3>don't think we ever got in. I think I dunked
<v Speaker 3>myself in once.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe it was that cold. Yeah, it was like a
<v Speaker 1>run in and run out.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, And that was it.
<v Speaker 3>If you if you start to look at like videos
<v Speaker 3>or pictures of people on the beach in Africa, Cape Town,
<v Speaker 3>nobody's in the water, nobody's in the water. Just pay
<v Speaker 3>attention to that. Nobody's in the water. I mean the
<v Speaker 3>locals go in, but they're in and out. Whereas like
<v Speaker 3>here in California, you know, people live in the water
<v Speaker 3>like you're just you're there all day, like you got
<v Speaker 3>to come out to eat.
<v Speaker 1>And my favorite thing is that when you when you're
<v Speaker 1>there and you're you know, you're going let's go out, Well,
<v Speaker 1>let's go find a restaurant. Oh okay, good, You're walking down
<v Speaker 1>the street and there will be a monkey sitting there
<v Speaker 1>as if he was just some little old man. You know,
<v Speaker 1>smoking a cigar, playing checkers, and the monkeys are just
<v Speaker 1>sitting everyone.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, the monkeys. The baboons, they were baboons.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, And they warned us we had to close the
<v Speaker 3>window because the baboons were coming up off the beach.
<v Speaker 3>Do you remember the ones that were having sex and
<v Speaker 3>looking at us and laughing. That was crazy. So we
<v Speaker 3>took an uber into this little little town. I think
<v Speaker 3>it's one of the oldest towns in town, and so
<v Speaker 3>there isn't much there, and we were going in to
<v Speaker 3>have a dinner, and they told us watch out for

<v Speaker 3>Jim Grandpa Jim, so he was the honorary Grandpa Jim.
<v Speaker 3>And she's now five. So everyone is used to calling
<v Speaker 3>you Grandpa Jim. So when Jacks was born, well, you
<v Speaker 3>can't have Jim not be Grandpa Jim when Jackson is born,
<v Speaker 3>So it just continued to be Grandpa.
<v Speaker 1>Jim because I am Grandpa Jim.
<v Speaker 3>And what people don't know a lot of people don't
<v Speaker 3>know is that Jim shares the grandpa title with Christopher Judge,
<v Speaker 3>who's the biological Yeah, starting got a war and cartoon voices,

<v Speaker 3>few of us. Yeah, and we got married in the backyard.
