<v Speaker 12>the most iconic wrestling entrance music's ever and uh, the.

<v Speaker 12>it could try with different companies, which rarely ever happens

<v Speaker 10>I think because of that, you know, especially now, you know,

<v Speaker 12>really established. But then in two thousand and three ish,
<v Speaker 12>two thousand and two ish, maybe they actually had that
<v Speaker 12>liver for the moment. The song I ended up using
<v Speaker 12>as Matt Hardy version.
<v Speaker 1>One slam a Tornado Yes Live for.
<v Speaker 12>The Moment, you know, by Monster Magnet, and they actually said, hey,
<v Speaker 12>this is where we got it, like a very.
<v Speaker 1>Song for you guys, that's personalized for you guys.

<v Speaker 12>and they played it to us and we're like, I
<v Speaker 12>think we'd rather keep doing the Hardy's music we currently have,
<v Speaker 12>which is loaded. And then like once we split, I
<v Speaker 12>ended up getting it. And at first I think when
<v Speaker 12>we heard it, we weren't that crazy about it. But
<v Speaker 12>once I can't imagine Matt Hardy the sense they have
<v Speaker 12>Mattitude version one without that music now because it is
<v Speaker 12>so identifiable with like that character in that persona, and
<v Speaker 12>it's I tried to bring that back whenever Jeff was
<v Speaker 12>out and hurt and injured, but Vince wouldn't do it.
<v Speaker 1>I think if Triple H would have been there, I
<v Speaker 1>think the man with three eighth.
<v Speaker 4>Would have let it happened.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, we meet kamal Hah. When we first started

<v Speaker 12>I mean that that music adds so much value to us,
<v Speaker 12>you know, coming out because it also connects there's so
<v Speaker 12>many people like I mean, we're both ancient, you know
<v Speaker 12>what I mean. I'm over halfway to one hundred. I'm
<v Speaker 12>just trying to stay off the box, you know what.
<v Speaker 12>IM trying to stay alive. But the fact that we
<v Speaker 12>have been doing this and we meet people all the
<v Speaker 12>times that are like in their mid thirties to late thirties,
<v Speaker 12>and now they have kids and their kids have become
<v Speaker 12>fans of man Jeff Hardy, and it's like, oh my god,
<v Speaker 12>this is so amazing. You know, I was a fan
<v Speaker 12>of you as I was growing up as a child,
<v Speaker 12>and now my kids have of you, and it's like
<v Speaker 12>a very special bond we have.
<v Speaker 1>And the thing that is kind of in common with
<v Speaker 1>that is we have.
<v Speaker 12>The same music, you know what I mean, thirty almost
<v Speaker 12>thirty years later, which is why connected it is connective tissue.

<v Speaker 9>the arena the way after midnight sign it for like
<v Speaker 9>the harding seem like they're more over than ever.
<v Speaker 12>It's it's crazy. I mean we are, we are blessed
<v Speaker 12>in that capacity. I mean we did that whenever. Initially
<v Speaker 12>when we were coming here before the whole storm was
<v Speaker 12>set up, we were leaving like at noon, and I
<v Speaker 12>was like, oh, we'll have a late night that night.
<v Speaker 12>We'll be able to sleep in, maybe get in a workout,
<v Speaker 12>and then go to the airport, travel across get to Orlando.
<v Speaker 12>But we changed the flight after the snowstorm. And you know,
<v Speaker 12>Brian is kudos of this guy. This guy changed his flight.
<v Speaker 12>He traveled with us. He stuck with the whole wall.
<v Speaker 12>He probably wanted to make sure we weren't going to
<v Speaker 12>like take off and go home. A little bit of
<v Speaker 12>that for sure, but no, he traveled.
<v Speaker 1>With the whole wall. But I said, oh, cool, what
<v Speaker 1>time is the light? And he's like seven am?
<v Speaker 12>And we did the post show meet and greet and
<v Speaker 12>it's like by the time we're getting home, it's three
<v Speaker 12>you know what I mean. We we notoriously it's often
<v Speaker 12>in notorious that we end up saying to like three
<v Speaker 12>in the morning, like if we have a show, that
<v Speaker 12>goes to like eleven and we'll do a four hour
<v Speaker 12>maybe five hour post show meet and greet and it's crazy.
<v Speaker 1>It's crazy.
<v Speaker 3>After our match with the Dudleys at Slimmiversary, I think
<v Speaker 3>it was right at four am and stuff. I think
<v Speaker 3>that set the record when yeah, last human Beings in
<v Speaker 3>line was like this eighty something year old woman that
<v Speaker 3>waited that whole time, and it just made my day.
<v Speaker 3>I mean after seeing that, and the picture was so
<v Speaker 3>cool when she was so sweet and just so glad
<v Speaker 3>to be there. So and I think the reason we
<v Speaker 3>might be more over now because in the big scheme
<v Speaker 3>of human existence, you know, our career is almost over
<v Speaker 3>and people want to hold on for as long as
<v Speaker 3>they can, and so do we. So we're gonna do
<v Speaker 3>this thing until we can, you know, plain and simple.
<v Speaker 12>I do think one thing to add a little context
<v Speaker 12>to what he's saying. We started that post show meet
<v Speaker 12>and greet and it was in Louiell, Massachusetts, outside of Boston.
<v Speaker 12>We started at five till eleven. Yeah, it was five
<v Speaker 12>to eleven and we finished at four twenty four that morning.
<v Speaker 12>So we did that after and we were moving. We
<v Speaker 12>were like trying to go through the line as fast
<v Speaker 12>as possible. I do think one of the reasons we
<v Speaker 12>have so many people that do do you want to
<v Speaker 12>see us, and they are interesting. I think we've built
<v Speaker 12>a lot of equity with our fans over the years.
<v Speaker 1>You guys have been on television for thirty years.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 12>But also, as Jeff said too, and he says this
<v Speaker 12>to me, says, oh, Matt's being really patient. We really
<v Speaker 12>we know there are a lot of people that have
<v Speaker 12>a lot of their youth and their childhood and a
<v Speaker 12>lot of nostallship tied into us from moments that they've
<v Speaker 12>seen from you know, nineteen nine one or.
<v Speaker 1>Two thousand and two thousand and one.
<v Speaker 12>The fact that we want to sit there and let
<v Speaker 12>them tell us about that experience, and we'll share back
<v Speaker 12>with them about how we felt as fans, and I think.
<v Speaker 1>It humanizes us to some degree.
<v Speaker 12>And I think there's a part of us that did
<v Speaker 12>love hearing those stories because we're those same wrestling fans,
<v Speaker 12>you know, the same people that are coming to us
<v Speaker 12>pouring all this love and information to us. It's the
<v Speaker 12>same thing we would do for our guys at that time.
<v Speaker 12>And now the fact that we're able to do it,
<v Speaker 12>and we're able to have these cool experiences with people
<v Speaker 12>and hear their stories. I know that that's what they want,
<v Speaker 12>you know they I love the fact that everyone always says,
<v Speaker 12>like whenever they meet to say go like you know,
<v Speaker 12>they say, don't meet your heroes, but meet the hardys,
<v Speaker 12>which is cool. That's like the greatest compliment we could
<v Speaker 12>be given. And that's something that's really important to us
<v Speaker 12>because at the end of the day, we both know
<v Speaker 12>that without our diehardies, well out people who have support us,
<v Speaker 12>there would be no us. So thank you all, everyone

<v Speaker 9>there's it's normal they have like a cinematic match in wrestling.
<v Speaker 9>When you guys did it, people like, what the hell

<v Speaker 1>You know? Yeah, it was one thing that was cool.
<v Speaker 12>One thing that I really did about pro wrestling is
<v Speaker 12>how there's not just one right way or wrong way
<v Speaker 12>to tell a story, you know what I mean. Like, obviously,
<v Speaker 12>we grew up watching a lot of Classic Wrestling NWA,
<v Speaker 12>so we got all that, and Jeff and I think
<v Speaker 12>we've you know, had tons of matches that have just
<v Speaker 12>been good quality matches, and we tell a story in
<v Speaker 12>the context of a wrestling match, and hopefully we have
<v Speaker 12>some emotional investment in the good guys and the bad
<v Speaker 12>guys that are that are fighting off against one another.
<v Speaker 12>But then we said, hey, like if we have a
<v Speaker 12>tag team ladder match against Edge and Christian, we can
<v Speaker 12>really do some special stuff, like we can do something different.
<v Speaker 1>And we eventually talked Vincent, let us do that in
<v Speaker 1>like a little best of series.
<v Speaker 12>And that's changed the game for us that tag team
<v Speaker 12>Ladder match, No Mercy, Like our reaction was different. People
<v Speaker 12>looked at as a legitimate stars from that point on,
<v Speaker 12>and I think that kind of opened up Vince's mind
<v Speaker 12>because you're like, well.
<v Speaker 1>Damn it, can you do something with the Dudley's like that?
<v Speaker 12>And I remember saying, dude, he they used to break
<v Speaker 12>tables in ECW. I said, like, what if we had
<v Speaker 12>a tables match with him? And I said, like, I
<v Speaker 12>kind of. I came up with the rules and I
<v Speaker 12>told my well, hey, hey, passes on events. I said, like,
<v Speaker 12>you know, both people, both members of the team have
<v Speaker 12>to go through, you know, and offensively you know, from
<v Speaker 12>their opponents to win the match or whatever.
<v Speaker 1>And we got to go nuts and we had like
<v Speaker 1>three and a half minutes cut.
<v Speaker 12>Right before we went out three and a half four minutes,
<v Speaker 12>and like, we flew through that first one, but it
<v Speaker 12>ended up being a classic because it was just like
<v Speaker 12>an absolute train wreck of the scene with all the
<v Speaker 12>carnage and breaking that was going on, you know, and
<v Speaker 12>that led to the whole TLC stuff and I felt like,
<v Speaker 12>you know, us having those TLC matches were also like
<v Speaker 12>telling matches in a different capacity.
<v Speaker 1>And then I felt like as I got older and
<v Speaker 1>my body was beat up, I couldn't do as much
<v Speaker 1>as I used to.
<v Speaker 12>And I was like, let me think about something I do.
<v Speaker 12>I want to try and revert and do a character
<v Speaker 12>this maybe like Papa Shango. Maybe the crowd kind of
<v Speaker 12>buys in and it's supernatural or something special is going
<v Speaker 12>on with it, early Undertaker, and that's when I did
<v Speaker 12>Broken Matt. And then one of the first things I
<v Speaker 12>thought about was like, what if I just had matches
<v Speaker 12>on my property like we.
<v Speaker 1>Used to do as kids, you know what I mean?
<v Speaker 1>And then we film it like a movie.
<v Speaker 12>It's like a cinematic match, and lo and behold we
<v Speaker 12>were and that was the right place at the right time,

<v Speaker 3>old VHS cameras with the big old VHS tapes and

<v Speaker 12>I were here tied on the shoulder and it's done,
<v Speaker 12>it has WWF on it, officially made by them, I'm like, dude,
<v Speaker 12>we have made it, Like they have this figure, you know,
<v Speaker 12>like we have made it, and we're like, you know,
<v Speaker 12>if this is the only one we did, then then
<v Speaker 12>we had it and we can say that we've done it.
<v Speaker 1>And it still kind of gives me chills even looking

<v Speaker 12>It was like such a special moment to really reinforce
<v Speaker 12>that we had made it, we had achieved our dreams,

<v Speaker 12>we could collect them and everything else when I was back,
<v Speaker 12>and I still have a pretty good collection, nowhere near.

<v Speaker 12>the Brood figure that comes through you know, I'm talking
<v Speaker 12>about where we're wearing the actual tie did shirts that
<v Speaker 12>we had when we were with the Gang Girl. That
<v Speaker 12>was like such a special time for us, I feel like,
<v Speaker 12>you know, because.
<v Speaker 1>That fit both of us.
<v Speaker 12>I think we were down with that too, because he's like, well,
<v Speaker 12>you know, he's a vampire, so just kind of be goth,
<v Speaker 12>just kind of be more God.
<v Speaker 1>That was the little bit of direction that we got.
<v Speaker 12>For events and we're like, okay, So that means like
<v Speaker 12>we can be serious and you know, kind of like
<v Speaker 12>almost cold, emotionless whatever.

<v Speaker 12>do whenever I like take my sip of blood, you know,

<v Speaker 12>can do since we kind of we're kind of like vambera, yeah,

<v Speaker 1>does it look like you have guns to your head?
<v Speaker 12>And I go, well, because we're we're goth and we're
<v Speaker 12>emo and like we're suicidal, we're willing to take any

<v Speaker 3>Yeah, one of my favorite action figures is the one.
<v Speaker 3>I guess it was from a TLC match, but it's
<v Speaker 3>the one that my shirt is ripped. Oh yeah, match,
<v Speaker 3>I love that figure, but man, overall, I can't lie.
<v Speaker 3>I think my favorite figure of all time is the
<v Speaker 3>I guess the last one that AW put out of me.

<v Speaker 3>And it's the uh you know, I had the pleasure
<v Speaker 3>of working with Darby Allen two times, but uh, that
<v Speaker 3>was from the first time I wrestled Derby Allen. That's
<v Speaker 3>what I was wearing in that match. But it's such
<v Speaker 3>a such a beautiful figure. I just wish it could
<v Speaker 3>have came out like when I was in the AW dimension.

<v Speaker 1>The also a naturally figure. I would look forward to seeing.
<v Speaker 12>It's the only Brother Nero figure that is in circulation, really,
<v Speaker 12>and that's the Ring of Honor figure that AW put
<v Speaker 12>out when Jeff and I we were the yeah yeah
<v Speaker 12>Tech team champs and that that that's a great figure.
<v Speaker 1>It's one of the best broken mats.
<v Speaker 11>Uh.
<v Speaker 12>It's the only Brother Nero and we do look forward
<v Speaker 12>to sounding that. Maybe that may be the absolute best
<v Speaker 12>thing we got out of AW.

<v Speaker 4>Yeah, then they made that too bad? Oh yeah, man,
<v Speaker 4>what a what a pop? That's the only stupidest pop

<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that that action figure is very cool.
<v Speaker 12>To return the WrestleMania thirty three return action figure made
<v Speaker 12>into two figures immortalized is super cool.
<v Speaker 1>That's also one of our favorite figures. No doubt, that
<v Speaker 1>was a that was a great moment. Is there anybody
<v Speaker 1>here that happened to be there Russellmania thirty three?
<v Speaker 7>Oh wow?
<v Speaker 12>All these people, Okay, they contributed to the pops. It's
<v Speaker 12>so cool because that was a moment that people saw
<v Speaker 12>as legitimate surprise. And you know, we live in even
<v Speaker 12>at that time, we lived in the you know era
<v Speaker 12>of the Internet where information flies and everything gets out
<v Speaker 12>and spoilers are leaked and everything else. But like, we
<v Speaker 12>did our best to keep that as quiet as possible,
<v Speaker 12>and there was only a handful of people that knew
<v Speaker 12>and like, I know there were some people like I
<v Speaker 12>think they're gonna show up, but like, we just had
<v Speaker 12>a killer thirty minute match with the Bucks of Youth
<v Speaker 12>the Young Bucks the night before, So it was real
<v Speaker 12>cool when we came out and it felt like a
<v Speaker 12>legitimate surprise and we hadn't been in that arena at all,
<v Speaker 12>you know. We we showed the arena forty five minutes
<v Speaker 12>before our match was going to happen.
<v Speaker 1>You know, and none of the talent knew we were
<v Speaker 1>going to be there. We showed up, we went and.
<v Speaker 12>Got on a bus backstage, and it's funny, we were
<v Speaker 12>in Orlando and it's in April is when that happened,
<v Speaker 12>and I'll never forget this.
<v Speaker 1>Said, hey, you go, you got to get some hoodies.
<v Speaker 1>Go get some hoodies. And we're like okay, and we're
<v Speaker 1>like they weren't that easy to.
<v Speaker 12>Find in April Orlando because you don't necessarily need hoodies
<v Speaker 12>here all the time.
<v Speaker 1>All the hoodies we got were pink, so we had to.
<v Speaker 1>If you ever see that.
<v Speaker 12>Documentary piece, we're all wearing pink hoodies and we sneak
<v Speaker 12>into the building. We do that, We go up there
<v Speaker 12>and then it was crazy because like we walk in.
<v Speaker 12>I know, my wife was there and she was like
<v Speaker 12>she was seven months pregnant with a woofie and Maxwell.
<v Speaker 12>She was baby wearing him on her back and she's
<v Speaker 12>mad because we had to run up four.
<v Speaker 1>Flights of stairs. Oh, it was so far right here,
<v Speaker 1>really well.
<v Speaker 12>And we had no idea how the arena looked because
<v Speaker 12>we hadn't been there at all. You know, usually at TV,
<v Speaker 12>you're there all day, you're kind of checking it out,
<v Speaker 12>you know what it looks like. And just whenever we
<v Speaker 12>came out to see this sea of humanity, you know,
<v Speaker 12>out there doing something that we established the Broken universe
<v Speaker 12>in Broken Matt and Brother Nero and the Delete Delete taunt, Uh,
<v Speaker 12>there was you know, just there was forty fifty thousand
<v Speaker 12>people doing that and it was crazy and it just
<v Speaker 12>showed like wow, like wrestling fans do pay attention, and
<v Speaker 12>they were just so excited. And the emotion I can
<v Speaker 12>film in slow emotion is we're going down.
<v Speaker 1>Like the emotion you can.
<v Speaker 12>See on people's faces from us coming back to w
<v Speaker 12>B was just so incredible. And Jeff and I say
<v Speaker 12>this all the time. The further we get away from
<v Speaker 12>that moment, I feel like it becomes more and more
<v Speaker 12>of an important part of our career, Like might be
<v Speaker 12>the top moment of our career.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I kind of feel it was. And just recently
<v Speaker 3>I remembered one of the lies that developed over that
<v Speaker 3>month because I got so tired of just lying. But
<v Speaker 3>we've been saying, yeah, we signed with the Ring of
<v Speaker 3>Honor for a few years, but I used to say, yeah,
<v Speaker 3>we signed a Ring of Honor for a couple of years. Man,
<v Speaker 3>I'm even going to start doing some concerts with a
<v Speaker 3>Ring of Honor like throughout the year. And I just
<v Speaker 3>I was so tired of lying, and that's exactly what
<v Speaker 3>I said. I'm just glad it's over as far as
<v Speaker 3>you know, pumping it up as we were not going
<v Speaker 3>to be there. But yeah, that's one of the things. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>we're gon I'm gonna be a Ring of Honor and
<v Speaker 3>do some actual concerts. Man, We're in for the long haul.
<v Speaker 12>So we had to do all this media and even
<v Speaker 12>that weekend we're doing Ring of Honor and a lot
<v Speaker 12>of people forget. On Friday night, we main invented the
<v Speaker 12>Wrestle Con Super Show and myself and Jeff Russell the
<v Speaker 12>Luchavros Penton Phoenix, which would be a hell of a match,
<v Speaker 12>you know, in this day and age. But it was
<v Speaker 12>then we had a great match with those guys, and
<v Speaker 12>then the next night we had the Young Bucks.
<v Speaker 1>I remember we were doing media earlier in that day
<v Speaker 1>and they were sitting back and talking to Jeff and
<v Speaker 1>they said, so, Jeff, so now that you guys are
<v Speaker 1>here at Ring of Honor, I mean, I don't know
<v Speaker 1>how long.
<v Speaker 12>This is gonna last for, but like, you know, are
<v Speaker 12>you thinking about returning to the WV And Jeff's going like,
<v Speaker 12>Jeff's going eh, and I'm just hade, I'm going just like, no, no, no, no,
<v Speaker 12>We've signed contracts, so the Ring of Honor we're gonna
<v Speaker 12>be here. And I remember once we minished the media,
<v Speaker 12>Jeff said, man, I'm just so sick of lyon. Man,
<v Speaker 12>I want to stop all this. Man, let's just come clean.
<v Speaker 9>So the latest figures you guys are gonna have. Luckily,
<v Speaker 9>you know, you signed with us for collect major We
<v Speaker 9>made big rubber guys, major Bennies. But today we're going
<v Speaker 9>to show everybody the major stars coming.

<v Speaker 12>very cool moment for us. We were the first WB contractor,
<v Speaker 12>We were the first TNA contracted talent to win a
<v Speaker 12>WB title, which was pretty neat and uh. The fact
<v Speaker 12>that we won the NXT w B Tag team titles
<v Speaker 12>also allowed another fact for us.
<v Speaker 1>It was really cool.
<v Speaker 12>We're the only tag team to win w B titles
<v Speaker 12>consecutively over four different decades because we were w B
<v Speaker 12>Tag champs in the nineties, the two thousands, the twenty tens,
<v Speaker 12>and now the twenty twenties.
<v Speaker 1>Because of those NXT.
<v Speaker 4>Tag titles, that's a big make sure you buy those.
<v Speaker 10>I say, I petitioned hard for the white because I
<v Speaker 10>thought it was unique, that'd be a lot of fun.

<v Speaker 12>And I think one of the coolest things about us
<v Speaker 12>is like we we were born, you know, we were
<v Speaker 12>pretty poor our family and like our mom died when
<v Speaker 12>we were young, and this was our dream and we
<v Speaker 12>wanted to do it. And we legitimately like as much
<v Speaker 12>as you can start at the bottom, bottom bottom, you
<v Speaker 12>know what I mean, come and being extras and after
<v Speaker 12>we would work TVs, we'd get damn sixty six percent
<v Speaker 12>of our money taken by the Italian study and he
<v Speaker 12>was booking us, you know, and he'd rip us off
<v Speaker 12>for three nights. But you know, we were able to
<v Speaker 12>be those guys. And we saw how some of those
<v Speaker 12>guys got treated by stars at that time, and we
<v Speaker 12>thought it was like shitty. And I just remember, once
<v Speaker 12>we made it, we're like, well, if we ever see
<v Speaker 12>these guys, let's be very accommodating.
<v Speaker 1>And you know, it's like, hey, what's up. You never
<v Speaker 1>know who is going to be what.
<v Speaker 12>You know, there's always potential everywhere, and you know, I
<v Speaker 12>think that's an important part of human kindom anyways, you know,
<v Speaker 12>just try and treat people good, try and be good
<v Speaker 12>to people, regardless of where you're at, especially if you're
<v Speaker 12>one that has been fortunate enough to like live a
<v Speaker 12>good life. And we both, we both live a good
<v Speaker 12>life wrestling. His blesses both so much. And we're just
<v Speaker 12>so grateful to have good people like you guys and
<v Speaker 12>other guys in pro wrestling that we can interact with,
<v Speaker 12>that we can be friends with, especially people like you guys.
<v Speaker 1>I told you, I'm very envious. I admire how you
<v Speaker 1>guys have built this whole Major Brothers brand. It's incredible.
<v Speaker 1>It's very very good stuff.
<v Speaker 12>And the fact that you Matt, you you know, better
<v Speaker 12>than yourself after WB and you went out and you
<v Speaker 12>did this stuff, becoming the King of the death Match
<v Speaker 12>and this, and then once again you're like the evolution

<v Speaker 12>like you totally built yourself up where WB needed to
<v Speaker 12>hire you back as opposed to you needing to go back,
