Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous, and welcome to the Give Them La La Podcast. We are getting down and dirty, getting back to my roots, headed back to the mothership of vander Pump Rules.

00:00:17
Speaker 2: Yeah, oh my goodness.

00:00:21
Speaker 1: I know I thought after season eleven I'd never discussed it again. I'm just kidding.

00:00:26
Speaker 2: I'm back.

00:00:28
Speaker 1: So, as you guys know, I am going to start my nesting process. So We've got episodes that have to be pre recorded. And I was like, what do people want to hear about? Just because like, are you serious people want to hear about vander Pump Rules. You're pretty much a nobody without vander Pump Rules.

00:00:43
Speaker 2: And I was like, you're right, they did not say that.

00:00:47
Speaker 1: Everyone I should talk about it. So I had you guys right in your questions for moments that happen on vander Pump Rules that you would like to discuss break down. Maybe I regret those moments. Maybe I wish I would have gone a little heavier on the paint. Is it on the painter or in the paint? And that's what I thought, but it came out as on.

00:01:12
Speaker 2: And guess what we're rolling with it.

00:01:14
Speaker 1: Ocean's favorite song right now is ice Cream Paint Job. By Dora.

00:01:19
Speaker 2: Wait, Dora, I thought that was.

00:01:26
Speaker 1: Well, I mean, can we make it what I call him? Who cares? Wait, I'm Lauren.

00:01:35
Speaker 2: It's oh, you're right. Can we make a correction? You guys? It is Hailey Williams on airplanes?

00:01:40
Speaker 1: I know. I'm so glad. I was I no.

00:01:44
Speaker 2: No, I said, I think it's Hailey Williams.

00:01:46
Speaker 1: And I was like, you're absolutely incorrect. It is Skyler Gray And so many people are like you dumb Batch had Hayley Williams.

00:01:53
Speaker 2: I was like, damn, they sounds I never looks stupid soon ever.

00:01:59
Speaker 1: You know what's about this podcast is I think even when we have really stupid moments, it's okay because next week we'll move on to something else exactly.

00:02:08
Speaker 3: Also something stupid next week, So.

00:02:10
Speaker 1: Here we go exactly people, we'll forget about way you said the week before. Okay, Jess, do you want to get it popop in for us?

00:02:20
Speaker 2: Yes, because we have so many things. So what la La posted was what vander Pump rules moments would you like me to discuss, breakdown, deep dive into et cetera. You guys wrote in with so many good ones. So oh, we're starting off a little Spicy Okay, Season seven, episode twelve. What happened that got you so upset with are? It looks deeper than being sober together.

00:02:46
Speaker 1: I think that this was when I went to Christina Kelly's house and I was sobbing in her house, and it was deeper than that I have said in any relationship that I ever have. I have two very very hard lines. Absolutely no cheating and absolutely no drug use. Okay, and I'm gonna leave it at that.

00:03:12
Speaker 2: Got it very interesting question here, Jacks, did you guys hook up? What happened with him and you? And I'm just adding this, like how are you now?

00:03:23
Speaker 1: Jacks is one of those people that I kind of just know who he is. I adore Brittany and and you know, I respect that they are whatever they're going through. They're married right now at this point in time, and could stay married. So I accept him because that's my friend's husband. But we've never hooked up. I remember being wasted at my apartment on Olympic one night and texting him very late to come over. And the only reason why I remember this is because I didn't delete the text. I saw the next morning and was like, I'm so fucking glad he did not come over here.

00:04:08
Speaker 2: Did he respond or like like it or I guess you probably couldn't like it at the time, But did he like say anything about it? Or you pretend you guys it didn't happen.

00:04:17
Speaker 1: I don't think he responded, really no. I think it was like four in the morning. I don't think I got a response, and I was like, what am I doing? That's when you know, well, I was in my bed like slowly passing out, so even if he.

00:04:34
Speaker 2: Did respond, he wouldn't have been able to get inside.

00:04:38
Speaker 1: No, it all worked out. We have never hooked up, and I mean like not even we haven't even pecked each other ever. Nothing. But that was a beautiful moment when he was saying that I've like hit on him Season four throwback and Brittany was thinking that I was this little like skank who was trying I'm like, no, no, no. That was the first time that I was like, oh wow, there are people who like really are liars right in the world that like can look you dead in the eye and know that this should be filmed like that never happened, and it's like, what the.

00:05:13
Speaker 2: Fucking yeah, they don't.

00:05:15
Speaker 1: Rule this way in Utah. There may be a lot of Mormons, but there's morals. You're a naughty boy, You're a liar.

00:05:23
Speaker 2: Naughty boys, bank bottom and.

00:05:27
Speaker 1: I cried in Hawaii. I was like, this is strange. Yeah, I'm getting called out for taking my top off, which my friends, I'll take their top stuff where I'm from, right, tits out, tit's out. Anyway, there's my long winded story to where Jackson I stand. I never really know. We float, We waff yes.

00:05:52
Speaker 2: Why you and Sheena used to clash.

00:05:55
Speaker 1: Oh sheesh. I think as you get older, if you start realizing that you're not going to change people, and you start either saying I'm going to accept them for exactly who they are or I'm going to be done with them. And I think Shehena and I both clashed back in the day because I was a little bit rough around the edges. I still am, but I've learned how to kind of tame it a bit in my mind, I guess. But back then it was like I said exactly what I wanted to say in not productive ways. They could come across as very mean. And by the way, I can still do that, and there are times where I regret it, and there are other times where I'm like it was harsh, but it needed to be harsh. I didn't baby my friendship with Shina back in the day, and I can't even explain why. I just was timing was off. We did not see eye to eye. She was someone who even when we were clashing, I said that that girl has a very very good heart that I could not be disputed. And season nine, when it was like, okay, we're like really struggling. We keep missing and like I need to know are we going to continue to keep missing or is this a friendship where it's like I like you, you like me, and we also have kids the exact same age that are girls Like, there's now stakes to the friendship and it was like we were dating. It was like we sat down and we were like, we're going to do this, We're really going to take a whack at it for real.

00:07:38
Speaker 2: Season nine, Yeah, that's key.

00:07:41
Speaker 1: Season nine and season ten we hit rough waters. But she respected me and I respected her. That's what shifted. Season ten. I sat down with her, I said, I love you. I don't appreciate the way that things went down last night with Raquel and Tom Schwartz and how how you and Brock and everyone else celebrated that. I know how Katie's feeling. I'm not going to be attending. And even though she maybe didn't like that answer, there was respect there now. So timing is just on, yeah, as of right now. And I know what she needs, she knows what I need. And we've both accepted each other exactly how we are.

00:08:22
Speaker 2: I love that, as you should a lot of times. That's just how it needs to be with friendships. Like maybe we don't see eye to eye hear, but we respect and accept each other. And that's that.

00:08:31
Speaker 1: Yeah. And I'm thirty three, is yes, young, but it's also a point in time where just in my life, what I've been through, what I've seen and experienced, having a second baby, you know, raising kids, you just realize this is what I'm going to accept and this is what I want cut out of my life. Yeah, and if I end up with a handful of people, most of which are my family, I'm okay with it. Yeah.

00:09:02
Speaker 2: There you go, There we go, there you go. Okay. Next one, you're fling with James dot dot dot in all caps. Why crying, laughing face.

00:09:10
Speaker 1: That is the strangest time of my entire life.

00:09:13
Speaker 2: You guys, I tell me why, because I kind of now knowing you, I didn't know you back then. I feel like I know why.

00:09:20
Speaker 1: But tell me, I just we had the best time together, right, He made me laugh so hard. We would like create music together, but it would like we were the definition as corny as it sounds of, like young, wild and free and we're on fucking TV. Yeah you know.

00:09:41
Speaker 2: Yeah.

00:09:41
Speaker 1: It was like the world was ours for the taking. What are you talking about tomorrow? Who's worried about tomorrow? We're living for today. Let's make a great song cut to Feeling You Yeah, which still hits heavy. By the way, Easton's not gonna say much because he's never seen an episode. So I'm here though today he's just listening and probably gonna learn a lot of things, not stuff I think I want to learn.

00:10:14
Speaker 2: That's exactly what I thought, because it was like, why not you trusted him? It was like, you guys are both on the same TV show.

00:10:20
Speaker 1: It's fun, you're drinking, It's like and we had each other's back, Yes.

00:10:24
Speaker 3: James, Andy had mine. Like when I'd come out here, he made an effort like I really did like James, when you guys were I think you were hooking up at that time, great or if you had, but he'd always call me, we'd go to the bars.

00:10:37
Speaker 1: Yeah, we more would just make out all the time. And then the finale of my first season, I shoved Kristen to the ground. Not proud, not proud of that at all. How do you not condone physical contact? Right right? You're playing a contact sport, right, Not that. I was like, you know what, I'm gonna fuck your man. I think it wasn't her man, I.

00:11:05
Speaker 2: Fuck your XX man.

00:11:07
Speaker 1: Right, your ex. I was like, I think you deserve it, you know the push. You know, no one deserve the push I'm saying. I looked at James that night and was just like, let's go home, have a couple more and get really sloppy.

00:11:28
Speaker 2: Just fun.

00:11:29
Speaker 1: It was fun. Yeah, it's a fun time in my life. And sometimes I look at us on the plane to Hawaii and I'm like slouched in the seat and we're just like making out as a producer films it on their iPhone. Do you know how I could never do that? Like if someone came up to me, even if I was dating them, and started trying to make out with me while the producer filmed. I would feel so weird when I brought the dawn back to the back to the house. Yeah, I was so fucking scared.

00:12:02
Speaker 2: You were like nervous that cameras were there, nervous about all of it. Okay, did you I forget, did you kiss him or anything on while the cameras were there, or did you? Literally You're like, we're not doing anything until I leave. I know you went in the bedroom, so let me tell you. Yeah, tell us some beata.

00:12:19
Speaker 1: I'm in the car with Christina and Katie. Okay, Katie's responsible for this whole night, right. I give Katie all the credit for getting me out of my funk and reviving me and making me like do something with the dawn. Whether it was like kiss him, hold his hand. Well, Christina was like, you can just kiss him and hold his hand, and Katie was like, no, you're gonna fuck yes, Katie, Ocean is thousands of miles away. I was like, I don't know about thousands, like thousands of miles away. You're like, she's away, She's.

00:12:59
Speaker 2: One stayed over.

00:13:00
Speaker 1: So we're having this conversation in the car and I was like, okay, I'm gonna text him. I was like, but no one say anything. Well, I didn't realize that my mic could be heard. That I was in the driveway. We drove home. Production was setting up in the house. They heard you're still miked. Oh yeah, you stay MICD because we went from the restaurant. Yeah, after I told Raquel to disengage. Bitch, Yeah, you're not gonna tell me about my situation that I lived right your little fucking square. You won't go there, Okay. I was upset. Okay, yes you were. We drive home, they've set up. We're in the driveway. I text the Dawn to come over. Yeah, and I'm like, no one talk about this in there. I don't want I want production to leave and then he can come over. Well we get it. Well, like we heard everything and we're filming a show. And I was like, all right, fine, fuck it.

00:13:52
Speaker 2: I feel like that's such a not season ten la la mistake. The fact that you did not just always assume your MICD always assume they can hear.

00:13:59
Speaker 1: I didn't. I thought that they were way too far away for us to be heard. I'm always aware of my mic, right, but I'm like They're so like, there's so much distance, there's no way they're gonna pick this up. Oh, they they picked it up.

00:14:15
Speaker 2: They picked it up, which, by the way, let's do a fun little BTS. The next morning, Laala texted me because I'd been like waiting for her to have sex. I've been like, you have to get it in, you have to get it in. She finally does, and she texted me like, I had sex last night. I'm freaking out. I did not realize on these trips cameras are there early in the morning. This was like nine am. I was at Palazzo. I didn't realize this. So she calls me or I call her.

00:14:42
Speaker 1: And at this point in time, productions not in the room right, like, so I'm really revealing all the nitty gritties and you're gonna hear some shit, but we do it for the audience, so you just sit there and so serious.

00:14:54
Speaker 2: So Lala's telling me, but you're not Mike to this point because I call you back, right and I say it. Basically, Laala's telling me on the phone. She says, I want to say it. She's like, and I squirt it and I she says this, and I think maybe I call her back, like a few minutes later or whatever. Don't know. She's miked and cameras are in the room and I'm like, okay, well, I love you. I'm so glad you had sex, congratulations on squirting for the first time. And she goes sh I was like what she's like, I miked the camera here. I was like, fuck, they didn't use it. I thought for sure they would.

00:15:31
Speaker 1: No, but they definitely were like, do you want to tell Christina about the bed? I'm like it was soft. They're like, no, about the bed. I was like, I couldn't sleep in the bed because it was so wet, crawling off.

00:15:47
Speaker 2: That was my bad. I never did that again. That's funny.

00:15:50
Speaker 1: On the drive home, yeah, from because I really thought it was a one and done. Okay, great to me. The Dawn one night stand right like production. I see them coming through the garage. I look in the room. I said, the Dawn, you gotta go. I give him a little pat on the ass, set him on his way.

00:16:07
Speaker 2: Did they see him walk out?

00:16:09
Speaker 1: Nope? They go where is he? And I go, He's gone. He's gone. So we get in the car. We do our like goodbye and Jeremiah, one of our producers. They had like, because you know, we're in Lake havasuits, so they have like really cool things at their gas stations. And they had one of those like knives that was like wooden and you know, like it looks like it was like hand carved or whatever, and it said Dawn on it, and he he bought it for me. Jeremiah did, yeah, do you still have it somewhere? I do have it.

00:16:41
Speaker 2: You have to keep it, of course I would keep it.

00:16:43
Speaker 1: So the dawn like revived my soul.

00:16:47
Speaker 2: I wonder what he's doing now, probably and pussy given that.

00:16:55
Speaker 1: Good good all around town.

00:17:01
Speaker 2: Okay, next, this is a bit of a bts. Okay in editing, do they mess with the conpos Sometimes it seems like they've really e ft. I don't know why I'm saying. F it says really fucked with them.

00:17:14
Speaker 1: I can't speak on exactly what they do behind the scenes because I'm not there for every single conversation that's had. When I watch myself have conversations with other people, I sit there and think, like, oh, I do remember that. Going a little bit differently, again, the show is very much real life. These are real conversations, but we have to whittle it down to less than an hour show an hour with commercials like it's you have to you can't. It's impossible to show every single detail that scene of like me Katie and season season eleven, the most recent, where we're at James and Alley's for the reading, start reading. I mean we were there for like three four hours.

00:18:03
Speaker 2: Damn.

00:18:03
Speaker 1: Yeah, they're long shooting moments that we have long hangouts. I will say there was one one thing that happened season seven. Season seven was really really tough for me because my dad had just died in April. We picked cameras up in May, and I was a mess, and I remember losing my mind on Raquel. That's the bambe eyed bitch moment, James really wanting to come to her defense. Understandably, that's his girlfriend and him sitting across from me, and I start talking like him, like I start saying something that he said and I talk in his accent and he said, YE always did love my accent, didn't you, babe, And like does a tongue thing, and I go, you're still loving the fact that you fucked La La. Good for you. Baby's most successful thing you'll ever do in your life. They cut out him saying you always did love my accent, didn't you, babe with the tongue thing. So it looks like I have become so unhinged that I just randomly say.

00:19:14
Speaker 2: That, Okay, yeah, but obviously you did not.

00:19:17
Speaker 1: No, I was provoked and I was already on one hundred. I had screamed at Raquel on the way into the other room. Billy Lee is screaming at me, and I remember looking at her and going no, and then almost headbutting her. Get the fuck out of my face. I was losing it. I was losing it.

00:19:42
Speaker 2: Okay, you're drunk or no, you were drinking.

00:19:47
Speaker 1: I had said that. I had said that I wasn't drinking at that time, but I did go next door to it was a TORTI called tortillera republic, and I did have champagne before I started filming, so I wasn't completely like a sober person or a dry person at that time. It was like I was just surviving. It was like a win for me to even put your feet on the ground right season seven. But that was the one thing that I remember them cutting out, and I was devastated by it because I'm like, I already am hanging on by a thread. Could you have maybe fucked with me on a season where my dad didn't die, right? You know?

00:20:26
Speaker 2: Yeah?

00:20:27
Speaker 1: But it made me a tough bitch yep. After that, it was like all is good And what's crazy is I got a lot of smoke that season. But then as time passed, I would we have the iconic Bambiyde bitch line, which was not iconic in the moment, and then you have people reaching out saying the way that you were. So it was my most vulnerable season that I've ever had in my entire life, because I couldn't hide people reaching out saying thank you for sharing what your grieving process looked like, because it helped me through my grip process when I didn't understand how to take it all on. So everything everything ends up being all good.

00:21:08
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, this is a lighter one. But I feel like I can read this one because like I'm like, I feel like everybody knows what ken breaking. The news of Scandival really scripted.

00:21:21
Speaker 1: Okay, so let me tell you something. This is how I this is what I believe, and I'm pretty I would put I wouldn't put my life on it, but I'd put a large sum of money on it, Okay. And we've spoken about this before, back when Scanival was actually like forefront of the news happening. So I'm happy that we're talking about it again. I think because Lisa is boss bitch queen of the show. She's you know, top of top of the food chain when it comes to vander Pump rules, right, she certainly couldn't. She's the one where we go and we tell her about our drama and she's like, I don't want to know about it. I want to know how you're doing. She talks to the toms about she doesn't care about the drama of the bar. She cares about when will the bar be open? And making money? Right, Like that's her. I don't want to call it a role, but her role is like our mama. And I think she didn't want to be the one to drop something so big, so it was kind of punted onto Ken, like Ken, we gotta like someone beyond the main cast has to drop this, and the only person that was there was Natalie. If you would call the flashback where Raquel comes into the restaurant very late talks about her night. The only people that were there were Raquel, who clearly is not going to be the one coming up to us to drop the news. Natalie, she's got her own thing going on. And Lisa. How do we make sense of this and have Lisa not spill the tea?

00:22:57
Speaker 2: Well?

00:22:58
Speaker 1: Have her husband do it? Yeah? Husbands and why talk?

00:23:01
Speaker 2: Yeah?

00:23:01
Speaker 1: Yeah, it was so funny, iconic.

00:23:07
Speaker 2: It looks like shuffling in, dropping the line, shuffling.

00:23:11
Speaker 1: Out now again. Yeah, it was a fantastic I love it. Yeah, and I love Katie being like come again. Dipped out, she left, She did not dip out. He dipped in. He dipped in with aust oh boy, oh boy. Okay, okay, I'm assuming. I just want to for the record, I don't know that that's how it happened. That's just me as a viewer because I wasn't there. I don't know exactly. That's how I would take it, Yes, because it seemed scripted, but our show was not scripted, right like I yes, you get what I mean?

00:23:44
Speaker 2: Yes, of course.

00:23:45
Speaker 1: Okay.

00:23:47
Speaker 2: This has been asked so many times, and I'm just going to keep asking it because I see it a million times for anyone who hasn't heard pasta.

00:23:53
Speaker 1: Is it pasta again?

00:23:54
Speaker 2: What is pasta code for something else? Or was it really just about the pasta? I know, but you have to every time. We're just gonna answer it every time until we never see it as.

00:24:05
Speaker 1: As it was a plate of food, a plate of pasta. Everyone has a different recollection of what the pasta was. Okay, I thought it was like a fetcini with snow peas. Raquel on her pod or Rachel on her podcast said it was the pasta siciline, which actually is very fantastic. I don't recall it being that. Someone else recalled it being something different. We were passing a blunt that night. We were all very fucking high, so feddicini, pasta siciline, maybe spaghetti and meatballs. It's all the same when you're that gone, right. But it wasn't like a code word. The whole thing was it thinks it's cocaine. For the record, let me let me put this out here. I got sober from alcohol. I liked my weed. I was not addicted to it. I could take it or leave. I did mushrooms one time when I had first moved to La I have never done cocaine in my life. I have never popped pills. I don't fuck with that stuff. So everyone thinking that I was talking about how I did all of Raquel's cocaine absolutely fucking not right, all of her pasta. Truly, it was the pasta because we were all stoned.

00:25:24
Speaker 2: Right. There we have it once again, There we have it. Okay, I like this because we've touched on your sobriety a little bit. Your initial steps into sobriety weren't really shared being around drinkers much love. I'm assuming they mean, like, yeah, you're taking steps into sobriety being around drinkers, so maybe touch on that.

00:25:45
Speaker 1: You know. What's really amazing is there are times I find sobriety to be very interesting because I'm a sober person. My sobriety is not at the forefront of banner pump rules, and I think for a good reason. There are things that maybe they want to share, like me talking to my sponsor, never gonna happen. You showing me go to an AA meeting, not going into the room, but you just showing me go there, or working on my steps, never gonna happen. I don't do those things in front of anybody, let alone an audience. It's similar to why I've never done therapy on camera, because yes, I that is very much real life. But in real life, I don't invite my friends to watch my therapy sessions, So why would I invite a camera crew? Right right? For me, there are just certain things that I want private. My sobriety. I'm happy to talk about it. You're never gonna see me talk to my sponsor or one of my fellow sober sisters, not on the table. So maybe that's why it's not really focused on. It's kind of like loss sober, congratulations on the amount of years, and I'm happy that it's even acknowledged. I think what got me sober was just my rock bottom looking very different than most. Season seven of drinking and losing my dad wiped me out. We talk about it all the time because Easton no longer drinks. He's a little pothead. And my mom got sober a year after I did for just support reasons, but drunk, well, we get the two of us together. You're so fun now they're videos of us. We're still very much yes, fun, I think. But when she had her prosecco, I was vodka's deep. We had a fucking heyday, all right, especially before my dad died, where it wasn't dark yet, it was we drank to have fun.

00:28:00
Speaker 2: Yeah.

00:28:01
Speaker 1: Then dad dies and we start drinking to none and it's dark. Even now. The thought of a drink takes me right back into Okay, we've just lost dad and we're in an aggrieving process, like it does. I don't watch people drink yo, oh, that looks so fun. Maybe when they have like a sparkling rose on rooftop. M M. I'm like, all right, I know that feeling of the first one that is fucking fun. Yeah, you could never get me to go there. Now those days are probably looming where they are difficult and I have my mouth start watering and I want one. They haven't happened yet, Thank god. I can't even explain why I got sober. It was just a moment that I woke up six months to the very day of my dad passing in this dark apartment Easton and his ex or girlfriend at the time, and my mom were gone. We had just come back from Disney World. The flight home was dark as fuck for me.

00:28:57
Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember that in your book about like the Ram you're letting people.

00:29:02
Speaker 1: Oh my god, just the thought of it takes me right back to that place, and it's like I just attended a meeting when I never need to go back there again. It was just me simply waking up and saying, we're done. We're done. You're an alcoholic. Fucking figure it out. There's no reason that you should be living this way any longer. There's multiple people out here who could offer you help. You just had someone last week give you a phone number to call if you wanted to get help. Fucking do it. And so I fucking did it.

00:29:32
Speaker 2: Yeah, you fucking did it. We love you for it, Love you for it. Congrats. No, it is amazing. This coming October twenty twenty four will be No. Eight No.

00:29:43
Speaker 1: Six seven October six.

00:29:46
Speaker 2: Six years amazing. Oh this is a fun one. Can you recall how you met each cast member? Was it on camera ever? Did you meet them before you were even in talks of being on the show. Yeah, because you worked there first, right.

00:30:02
Speaker 1: You know I had met them because Madison and Danielle. If you guys remember Danny Shaye. I don't know that Madison ever appeared. Madison's my tall blonde bombshell friend. She was referred to as the hot girl in Grown Ups. And then Danny Sha, her older sister, was on the show. So I had met Stossy at Jen Bush's Christmas party. They were doing like a cute little gift exchange amongst friends, and I was new and Danny was like, just come, it's fine, no big deal. You're not getting a gift, but you won't fill out of place at all. And I did.

00:30:44
Speaker 2: I did fill out a place, but I think.

00:30:47
Speaker 1: My actual first time meeting no, I just lied to you. My first time ever meeting Stossy and Jack's was in Vegas.

00:30:56
Speaker 2: In Vegas for what.

00:30:58
Speaker 1: I flew into Vagevegus for Danny. She had the Magic Show, which is like a peril. It's like a convention where a lot of you know, stores come and they purchased their summer, winter, spring, and fall collections for their stores, you know, like Nordstrum Bloomingdale's. What almost a pop up. No, it's like a full convention with like booths setup where you walk through and you're like, oh, I really love these. These would be great in mama's little boutique. All right, I'll take thirty seven units or whatever the fuck that's what I was doing, Okay. I was asked to model for the company. It was called Sovereign Code. They sold them at Nordstrum. I don't know if it exists anymore. Stassy was there for another brand, and so I met her, and I remember her digging on my outfit, okay, and I was like, oh my god, this is so cool, like a girl from La thinks my outfit is cool. Stuck, you know, because I was just a bitch from Utah. Yeah, Like I thought I looked cool, but then you take me outside of my bubble and I'm a little insecure about life.

00:32:07
Speaker 2: Right. Was she on the show then? Now?

00:32:09
Speaker 1: I can't remember if the show existed yet. No, I don't think it did exist because that's it didn't exist yet because Jacks and Stossy met there as well. They met it the Magic Show that I was. Yes, that's where they met and then they started dating started dating so wild. Yeah, that was the first time I met Jax and Stossy.

00:32:31
Speaker 2: Did you meet any of the like Core cast on camera?

00:32:35
Speaker 1: Katie? I met on camera, Okay, Arianna, I met on camera. Sandoval, I think I met on camera. Shena I'm having a hard time recalling. I was friends with Jenna Willis and she was balls deep in that group, so I felt like I had heard a lot of things about each person. Doty I met on camera, I would say most people I think I I met on camera, but had maybe seen in passing, but there was no full meet high How are you okay?

00:33:06
Speaker 2: What about the first time you met Lisa vander Pump, because I know you worked at SIR before there was even a show, right or no? Is that not true?

00:33:14
Speaker 1: That's not true.

00:33:14
Speaker 2: Okay, there was a show.

00:33:17
Speaker 1: I got a job at SIR, and I think I've told this story before. The couple comes in. They tell me their name for their reservation. I was told in training fifteen minutes late or more, you're being put to the side, tables being given away. Will fit you in when we can our Diana, who I love and Adoor comes up and asks why the person that I just set aside is set aside. They come into the restaurant often they give very great business. I was essentially yelled at, yelled at for this. Okay, this was a very big deal and it was me and another hostess, Sammy. Diana leaves I'd worked at sur for maybe like a week or two. I look at Sammy, it's a Saturday night, all right, Sir is fucking poppin'. I go, I don't know about you, but I will not be spoken to that way, So I'm gonna leave. And I opened the bottom cabinet, grabbed my bag, shut it, clocked out, and I dipped. I was out of there.

00:34:21
Speaker 2: Had you met Lisa at that point?

00:34:22
Speaker 1: No? I met Lisa when I came back into sir, just as a regular old girl trying to have free drinks. You get a free crunk out of the deal. And she saw me mingling. I knew Danny. I was talking to people who were just chilling because I'm a social butterfly. When I drink right now, I'm like, don't take me out of the house. I don't know how to create words if I leave this room, right And she just came up to me and said, how do you know everybody? And I talked about Danny shaving my best friend whatever. I live in Stosse's old apartment or whatever, and she said, are you looking for a job? And I did not. I was not looking for a job there. I was like, I literally ditched work, But like, what else you got for me?

00:35:11
Speaker 2: Yeah?

00:35:11
Speaker 1: How are you going to sweeten this deal? Put it in the pot? With that came the camera.

00:35:17
Speaker 2: Yes, amazing. I love that.

00:35:19
Speaker 1: They said we'd like you to work at her as a hostess. Great. Are you also free to have a sit down with our producer? Love? Yeah, your performance?

00:35:31
Speaker 2: Did Lisa really pick out the white boots she gave you? Or did you the white but?

00:35:36
Speaker 1: Oh, first, I think that was season six, No, Lisa, that was I had seen them, and I think I had shown them to her through the grapevine. Someone had heard that I loved these boots, right, and then she surprised me with them. Oh that's cute. Yes, that's really cute.

00:35:56
Speaker 2: I still have them? Yeah?

00:35:57
Speaker 1: Do I still have the boots? I do not? No, No, I'm really mad at myself. Actually, when I moved from the old Palazzo apartment, so I went from Stosse's on Olympic to the Palazzo to mull Holland, back to Palazzo now to where I am. When I moved into the mull Holland house. Anything that sounds so disgusting and cringey, don't judge me for it, because I have already judged myself, and I was sober when I did this. If it was not a designer shoe, it did not come with me.

00:36:31
Speaker 2: You checked it.

00:36:32
Speaker 1: I gave it interesting. It had to be like a designer label to come to the house with me, makes sense. I didn't have a lot of room. Yeah.

00:36:42
Speaker 2: And also, you're gonna yeah, I mean, unless it's like super special too. I personally would be like, well, I'm gonna keep what's most expensive.

00:36:48
Speaker 1: Yeah. But now I look back at photos and I'm like, oh my gosh, those those orange sock booties from freaking Santi Alley. Why did I give those away? Why did I give the LVP boots away? You dumb bitch, not LVP me.

00:37:03
Speaker 3: Oh no, look at them again. Yeah, Santi Ali's right down the way.

00:37:07
Speaker 1: The boots that Lisa gave me were not Santielli. Those were actually very nice boots.

00:37:12
Speaker 2: Someone's wearing around now hopefully, Oh for sure. Okay, do you miss singing? Would you write a book again?

00:37:18
Speaker 1: I don't know that I would write a book again. For a moment there, I was very excited to write a book, just because so much had happened in my life and I felt like I had learned so much about like just the system, about myself, and maybe, like the itch will come back. I think maybe I'm thinking, like me sitting down writing a book right now sounds exhausting. Maybe the bug will come back to where I want to write a book.

00:37:43
Speaker 2: I think it will.

00:37:44
Speaker 1: But my last book left kind of a bad taste in my mouth, just like reading who the book was dedicated to, and just like these sections of my life let's read between the lines where I'm like, this was a lie and I didn't even realize, like I was like living in fiction.

00:38:07
Speaker 2: But how many people in today's world literally live that life? Yeah, they look back at photos of their marriage, of them with their husband and kids or wife and kids, and they're like, the entire time, this person was not that person. That's why I think you'll eventually write when I think you have so many things just knowing, like what was going on behind the scenes while I was seeing certain things of you, like trucking through and then shit going on behind the scenes, and I was like, how is she doing this? I think it's going to be fascinating when you write another book because people don't know. I feel like you're so in it, but really take a step outside and look back. People don't do not even know at all.

00:38:49
Speaker 1: I have to remember that when I see certain comments and I want, I feel like this fire in my chest and I'm like, oh yeah, I have to remember people don't know the story exactly.

00:39:02
Speaker 2: You didn't bring it onto that. I mean there's stuff you literally could not bring onto the show, could not talk about.

00:39:07
Speaker 1: Yeah.

00:39:08
Speaker 2: Literally.

00:39:10
Speaker 1: So yeah, once I get through I think this pregnancy where I'm not feeling mentally exhausted as well, I think a book may be fun. And what was the other question? Singing? Oh girl, I'd be singing in the shower all the livelong day and to ocean.

00:39:24
Speaker 2: I know, but it'd be really fun. Oh my god. I feel like if you too, just for fun.

00:39:30
Speaker 1: Easton has a friend named Hulksiko who has like a really cool style, and they've been working on music together and like, I like, I'm not like shiesh when I'm like, let's tour and do the whole thing. I just like, I really enjoy it and I feel like it kind of takes me out of my norm. But we're working on a song right now, and I'm like, we need to record it because As I get more and more pregnant, I get more and more nasily. Okay, might.

00:40:00
Speaker 2: We'll see.

00:40:02
Speaker 1: Not that not that I think I'm Whitney Houston, like I don't need to rest my vocal or anything like that. But literally, a baby's like sitting on my airway. I can barely walk to the car without being like, I gotta sit down, legs.

00:40:15
Speaker 3: She's always like my lag God, damn.

00:40:17
Speaker 2: I feel like a wheelchair for I.

00:40:20
Speaker 1: Thought about getting a car a scooter at Target the other day.

00:40:26
Speaker 2: You're prog I thought you one.

00:40:29
Speaker 1: No, they have them there, you know if you like? I know, But I'm like, am I the person who's gonna I need? I need it now?

00:40:36
Speaker 2: Yes?

00:40:37
Speaker 3: Yeah. People would look at you and be like.

00:40:39
Speaker 2: You and your legs, You're like I have been.

00:40:41
Speaker 3: Tingling, And then they'd look down and go those cankles.

00:40:48
Speaker 2: This is a really interesting one. I actually loved that this was asked another BTS one. But when a text combo is shown after filming, do they actually ask to see your phone?

00:40:59
Speaker 1: They don't ask to see the phone. They asked to send in the text messages screenshots? Can you send me screenshots? I was asked to have There have been many conversations, including the DMS that I talk about uh Katie sending to me that I refused to send. I'm like, I'm just I don't need you. I don't need them shown right. I think the only time I send screenshots they could have come from my phone, they could have come from Schwartzy's. But was the conversation where I basically told them to kick rocks. You're dead to me, fool for playing pickleball with that clown?

00:41:36
Speaker 2: M Yeah, why did you stay friends with Sandafall? When I'm assuming they mean I've seen this a couple of times this season, Like I would like you to clarify if you want, because like you didn't, but like, did it look that way? I don't think it looked that way? But then why are people asking that you didn't stay friends with them? I were never friends with them.

00:41:58
Speaker 1: Because people are used to me being black or white, and season eleven people saw me in the gray and it's so it's still hard for me to process because I didn't ask crazy questions. I felt like I asked pretty logical questions, right. I tried my best to practice empathy, compassion, realize things happen, and we don't intend for them to happen that way, but sometimes shit just fucking happens, right, And I was trying to find the gray in my life. And I don't care what anyone says. You know, people, Jacks has accused this show of being scripted. Let me tell you something. This show were scripted, I would have made damn sure that season eleven, I came out of this as a fucking gem fan favorite, and I would have had to go against everything I thought, everything I believed sand of aal and I have never been thick ever. Okay, I think we had one season, season four where you know, he's he's always really good to the new Bee, the underdog of the show. Okay, that was me Once I was no longer there. I felt he didn't have a purpose for me any longer. I was not friends with him before scanned of all happened, and I wasn't friends with him this season. I went and had gave him the time of day, letting him know, you know, for me personally, I know you did not cheat on me. Was I triggered as fuck in the moment, yes, But time has passed. I want to let you know there are there's a multitude of things that I feel you have done to me to make it very easy for me to come for you when you fucked up. Okay, but now time has passed, my reality is sinking in. You know, I don't. I don't go to bed with the audience at night. The audience doesn't go to bed in my head. I go to bed in my head. Okay. So if I go out there and I play to the audience, I have to go to bed with myself at night, and that becomes really intense. Okay. I have to live in my truth, whether you like it or not. And you can sit here and say, you know you were a puppet for production. Uh, fucking blow me, dude, fucking blow me. I've never played for production, never been a puppet to anybody, which is why you guys have such an intense view on me. It is love or hate. I have not ever had someone be like, sometimes I like you, but sometimes I don't. It's like I fucking hate you or I fucking love you. There's no in between.

00:44:47
Speaker 2: I will say there is. There are a lot the love in the hate is loud because there are a lot of in between that come in the DMS or comment and they're like, look, I get where she was coming from. I don't agree with this. I really love this. I've always is a mom. There is a lot of in between, but I hear you and that the loudness is the love and the hate because you got the haters screaming and then the lovers who we love being like, well, hold on a second, and like, you know, so I get it.

00:45:13
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, so enough of this. Like as much as you guys do like the the audience, they do know us. They also don't. I love that you have the comment section. Okay, I'm not gonna go back on what I said a while back when I addressed season eleven, like I love that the comment section, okay, but like also, I'm not gonna allow jan from Mississippi to tell me who the fuck I am. M. You don't know me like that.

00:45:43
Speaker 2: Yeah, And there's so much I don't see.

00:45:45
Speaker 1: Right, Like you don't know Lauren from Utah. You don't know the girl that like went through X, Y and Z and now has you know a reason for every single thing that she does. I live my life with intent and per and it doesn't need to make sense to you. No one's life needs to make sense to anybody. Yeah, but I stand by the fact that I did not go into any season being manipulated playing to an audience. I have lived every second on this show for myself. Okay, and sometimes I look wild, I look whack at times, but guess what, you need to fucking worry about it because you ain't gotta go to bed in my head to night. I do, so we'll deal with it.

00:46:28
Speaker 2: Ay, exactly, love it. Oh. I actually am curious about this. I don't know if I missed the scene or don't remember it. So this person said, I want to hear how you and Saucy became friends after everything and what those convo I'm assuming what that conbo looked like because I do remember you guys didn't get along, and you.

00:46:48
Speaker 1: Want to know what happened. Yes, in the Back Alley season six, Okay, I thought that everyone was going to be on good terms. I was coming into the show a little bit late. Sheina had told me that Katie brought up my man again. I asked if she was trying to get popped. I'm in the back alley, Okay, Katie and I are now good. Stossy comes into the back alley. She says something about punching. Okay, and for some reason I thought she was threatening me. Okay, I've never been in a fight in my life, okay, and I don't think Stoscy has.

00:47:25
Speaker 2: Either, except the hit.

00:47:28
Speaker 1: But except the hit. Oh doty Doty's the ally person that's taken.

00:47:34
Speaker 2: For Christensen, damn it.

00:47:37
Speaker 1: Oh no, anyway, moving on, that is funny that we both meet, I know. So she sits down in the back alley, she brings up a punch, and I think she's threatening me. So I was like, she says she doesn't know how to throw a punch or something, but I yeah, but I take it as she's threatening me to punch me. Like in other words, I don't know how to throw a punch, but I will. And I go, well, unlike you, I I definitely know how Okay. So we leave and it's like not good. It's not good. And then we go to I think it's a housewarming party at someone's house at it's at it's at Brittany and Jackson air. This definitely I don't know if this airs, guys, I haven't seen this is what I do know that this happened. I don't know what aired, but she says something to me and I was like, I just don't take kindly to like people threatening to punch me. And she was like what And I was like the back alley where you like were talking about like hitting me. And she was like, I don't know how to punch anyone. And I was like, oh, that's how you meant it. I was like me, neither. And we had a good laugh about it, and after that it was all squashed. I was ready to go toes with her again season six? Do you and just a little misunderstanding about punches being thrown between bitches to bond?

00:49:00
Speaker 2: I love it. I was gonna say, was there a moment though on the show where you like have a talk or No? I don't remember it. I just remember you guys being friends.

00:49:08
Speaker 1: No, there was, no, I don't I don't remember there being some long winded conversation. It was season five. I attended the reunion, Katie apologized, I apologized. I didn't think I'd go back for season six. I ended up going back and we let bygones be bygones.

00:49:26
Speaker 2: Byons be by ones. Was season five? The Blue Luck, the Pink Cheeks?

00:49:32
Speaker 1: What was it?

00:49:33
Speaker 2: The Blue Luck?

00:49:34
Speaker 1: No? That was season four. That's season four, Okay, season five, I was a little bit more classy. I wore my grandmother's real I think it was like three or four layers of real pearls, a choker, oh, and like a little white jumpsuit. I remember down basic makeup. Okay, Okay, I want to wear a T shirt of my reunion like season I'd wear.

00:49:59
Speaker 2: It too, Okay. I mean there's a few of these, so I'm just gonna ask it. The swimming topless and lvpce pool with James. This is all it says. But I'm wondering, like, how did it come about? Did Lisa like freak out after? Was this a random did anyone panic?

00:50:16
Speaker 1: Like?

00:50:16
Speaker 2: How did this whole thing?

00:50:18
Speaker 1: No?

00:50:18
Speaker 3: Tv?

00:50:19
Speaker 1: Ken and Lisa. Ken and Lisa were out of town, Okay, Faith and Max, who's Lisa's son, were dating, and I was doing whatever I was doing with James. Faith and I were super fucking close, and Max and James were super fucking close, right, so we had like this.

00:50:37
Speaker 2: Little like gang okay, you know.

00:50:40
Speaker 1: Yeah, and Max did something to his teeth where he had to have mouth surgery and he was like all fucked up on pain pills and stuff, and we were like, we're gonna see him, We're gonna bring him breakfast or whatever. So we go over there and we're like, you need to have a drink. That's what it is.

00:50:57
Speaker 2: Max.

00:50:57
Speaker 1: You're not even feel shit, of course, and we're upset because we're like, you gotta go to I think it was like we had a Hawaiian vacation coming up. I was like, he's gotta go to Hawaii. We gotta come on, I'm sorry about your fucking mouth, Like we gotta get your drunk and get my party up. So we go downstairs with Max and he's you know whatever. When we started just like popping bottles at fucking Villarosa, right, and.

00:51:23
Speaker 2: The crew's there recording, like filming, they're filming.

00:51:27
Speaker 1: Us like basically like being nice. I think that they thought there's it was such a fun life. Yeah, okay, they thought we were going over we're gonna like making muffins.

00:51:38
Speaker 2: Right, Fuck, no.

00:51:41
Speaker 1: Bottles, your mom and dad are gone and you have like top shelf booze. They're not in plastic bottles.

00:51:49
Speaker 2: No, no, no.

00:51:50
Speaker 1: When we popped him, Max starts having the time of his life. Faith and I are like, tops off, let's get in the pool. It was so much fun, so you.

00:51:58
Speaker 2: Didn't even think twhy start think like this needs to I need this scene needs to be spiced up, or this whatever moment needs to be spiced up by taking myne top off. You were just like, why don't you do after? Did Lisa ever say anything to you about it? Or was she like?

00:52:12
Speaker 1: I think she was just happy that we like made Max happy. Yeah, you know, because she called him on the phone and she was like, I love you, darling, I want you to take care of yourself. And James is like, we'll.

00:52:24
Speaker 2: Take care of him, Lisa, He's.

00:52:26
Speaker 1: Fine, and she like feels like he's in good hands. Meanwhile, check the maring camera's leasese Billa Rose is about to go down and or go up in flames. Probably.

00:52:44
Speaker 2: It's so funny.

00:52:45
Speaker 1: I know that we have a bunch of these we do so, but we're like pretty much out of time, so the rest of them will do it at a later.

00:52:52
Speaker 2: Date, Yeah, like a bonus episode or something.

00:52:54
Speaker 1: Yeah, and since this is pre recorded and we usually do an ache and relief about our week, you guys don't get an ach and relief love it only I get one. We'll do an aggre relief about filming vander Pump rolls. I think the relief of filming vander Pump roules is that everything that I was sitting in Utah dreaming about as a kid has pretty much come true because of vander Pump Rules and Bravo and NBCU. They've been tremendous to me and I've had the time of my fucking life. In fact, going season eleven kind of wiped me out a little bit, and it could be because I was pregnant. I always start with that I am not a weak bitch, just a hormonal one. But going through these and like reliving, I'm like, what a fun life? Yeah, you know, so many embarrassing moments for the world to see, and you've forgot a lot of them. This is so fun. And there are times where we've had like really amazing conversations with the cast where like everyone's kind of getting along, or there's like a brief moment where cameras are down and you just have a moment of like, you, guys, there's gonna be a day where none of this exists anymore. We're no longer on vander Pump Rules. We've got kids. Maybe not maybe grandkids, and we get to think back and be like we were on fucking television.

00:54:25
Speaker 2: You got to rewatch it, you know.

00:54:27
Speaker 1: That is so fun, so fun. These are the best days of our lives. I think the ache is having people think that they know you and that they have the right to tell you who you are in not a constructive way, in a really really mean way. They take it so far as to come to my wonderful assistance page and be unkind to her. Bring it to my brother who you don't know, and say unkind things about him, say unkind things about my three year old. Oh, they all really dope it out, things like that, where I'm like, I really want to shake this off, but I'd actually like this bitch to meet me somewhere because I'm not a physical person. I'm about to become one, you know, or I got to really regroup.

00:55:16
Speaker 2: I'm gonna pop in and say, do not meet her anywhere or look for her. She is hormonal, do not come near her.

00:55:25
Speaker 1: No. But I think anybody who's a mom can relate to that. You'll be the kindest person in the world. Someone comes for your baby, the claws are out and we're swiping. That's I think the ache of it all, but the relief outweighs all of it. So I hope you guys enjoyed this episode of moments that have to do with vander Pump rules and all the craziness, but also all.
