<v Speaker 1>I love I love the pause there. Yeah, let's let's
<v Speaker 1>talk some backlash here. And overall, I would say, and
<v Speaker 1>you and I were talking a little bit off the
<v Speaker 1>air here, that it was a just kind of a solid,
<v Speaker 1>clean show. Is how you how you put it, I
<v Speaker 1>think that's a good way to put it too. It
<v Speaker 1>was just kind of there and there were some standing
<v Speaker 1>out matches. Nothing was particularly terrible, although I have some
<v Speaker 1>thoughts about the Army of the Dead that'll be coming shortly.
<v Speaker 1>What did you think generally about this pay per view?
<v Speaker 1>You kind of look at a high level.
<v Speaker 2>I think the best way to describe this pay per
<v Speaker 2>view honestly is balanced. I think it was a very
<v Speaker 2>well balanced show with good matches. Nothing overly surprising, very predictable,
<v Speaker 2>but entertaining. I honestly, it was kind of nice as
<v Speaker 2>a YouTuber to just kind of be able to and
<v Speaker 2>just watch the show instead of creating a ton of
<v Speaker 2>content for it, because it was one of those shows
<v Speaker 2>where like nothing nothing was like, oh, I have to
<v Speaker 2>make a video on it. But at the same time,
<v Speaker 2>I really did enjoy this show. The Zombie stuff was
<v Speaker 2>I will talk about it. It was.
<v Speaker 1>It was something yeah I have I have some some
<v Speaker 1>feelings on that, but we'll get to that in just
<v Speaker 1>a couple of minutes. But first, of course, we had
<v Speaker 1>the kickoff match. It was Seamus and Ricochet, and Seamus
<v Speaker 1>beat Ricochet. I guess again, that's kind of telling aboard.
<v Speaker 1>The United States Championship is sitting right now in the
<v Speaker 1>eyes of WWE's you know, pecking order that it is
<v Speaker 1>on the kickoff show.
<v Speaker 3>So there's that.
<v Speaker 1>But in this the proper show of it started out
<v Speaker 1>with the Raw Women's Championship rear Ripley versus Osca versus
<v Speaker 1>Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match, and guys, don't
<v Speaker 1>worry if you don't understand the rules of the triple
<v Speaker 1>threat match. WWE is there every time to make sure
<v Speaker 1>that you know that the champion can lose the belt
<v Speaker 1>without actually being involved in the decision. I know it's
<v Speaker 1>confusing and they don't really really clear. Yeah, you know,
<v Speaker 1>I'm very glad that they were there to clear things
<v Speaker 1>up because every time they have these matches, I'm like, what,
<v Speaker 1>I don't what are the rules right?
<v Speaker 3>Because it's so confusing.
<v Speaker 1>So of course, we get the outcome here of rear
<v Speaker 1>Ripley defeating or winning the match and getting the pinfall
<v Speaker 1>after kind of a weird ending of Charlotte Flair not
<v Speaker 1>interfering to break up the pin, but it was explained
<v Speaker 1>by Corey Graves that the reason she didn't come in
<v Speaker 1>to break the pin is she fell off the apron
<v Speaker 1>from her kick.
<v Speaker 3>I didn't see it. It was weird, but I.
<v Speaker 1>Guess I'll toss with you for details in terms of
<v Speaker 1>how how you like the match and you agree with
<v Speaker 1>the outcome.
<v Speaker 2>Well, first of all, Ad then Verk he had about
<v Speaker 2>seven oh my in that match. You know what, I'm
<v Speaker 2>sure he's a super nice guy. I'm sure he's a
<v Speaker 2>he's a lovely Canadian there, and you know, I'm sure
<v Speaker 2>he does his job very very well when it comes
<v Speaker 2>to you know, backstage stuff and like news. But my
<v Speaker 2>god man, it's been enough time now where I can
<v Speaker 2>honestly say he doesn't have the charisma to be a
<v Speaker 2>play by play guy for the w WE. In my
<v Speaker 2>personal opinion, I think he's doing fine, but it's just
<v Speaker 2>it's just there's nothing there in my opinion, So sorry, Ad,
<v Speaker 2>And I don't mean to hate on you right there, buddy,
<v Speaker 2>big fan of your other stuff, but not so much
<v Speaker 2>as a play by play guy. As for the match,
<v Speaker 2>I thought it was a really good match. Nice nice
<v Speaker 2>back and forth between Flair, Rhea and Charlotte There. I
<v Speaker 2>liked kind of the spots on the outside. I thought
<v Speaker 2>that was nice, good flurry of strikes as well, some
<v Speaker 2>nice arm bar spots I thought were pretty kind of
<v Speaker 2>set up pretty well there, I will say. I will
<v Speaker 2>say this, I was a big fan of kind of
<v Speaker 2>the setup where they had with what was it the
<v Speaker 2>double natural selection there. I thought that was really well done.
<v Speaker 2>Some funny like twists and turns with Oscar to get
<v Speaker 2>the double pin with Charlotte there. I think that's kind
<v Speaker 2>of weird. But you know, I thought, I thought Charlotte
<v Speaker 2>Flair just continues like she has so much talent man,
<v Speaker 2>and and all these girls like are obviously crazy talented,
<v Speaker 2>but Charlotte Flair, I thought she was gonna do another
<v Speaker 2>corkscrew off the top like she likes to do the
<v Speaker 2>moon Salt, but I thought she was gonna pull a quarkscrew.
<v Speaker 2>I just I feel like I don't think, Okay, I
<v Speaker 2>know this is controversial. I just don't people give Charlotte
<v Speaker 2>the credit she really deserves because she does have a
<v Speaker 2>significant presence whenever she has a match over over other wrestlers.
<v Speaker 2>And as for the finish, I think it was just
<v Speaker 2>the camera guy screwed up because there was the big
<v Speaker 2>kick right and then she fell off the aprin I
<v Speaker 2>didn't see that either, so I'm like where I'm like,
<v Speaker 2>So when the three came, I was like, really expecting
<v Speaker 2>Charlotte to kind of, you know, stop it, and it
<v Speaker 2>never happened. So I was a little surprised there, but
<v Speaker 2>I am happy with the real Ripley winning. You got
<v Speaker 2>to keep her credible, and the only way to keep
<v Speaker 2>her credible is keep that title waterers for now, So
<v Speaker 2>I'm okay with it. I like the match. I thought
<v Speaker 2>it was a solid B Yeah, yeah, that it was.
<v Speaker 1>It was what you would have hoped that these three
<v Speaker 1>women could put on. I mean, looking at regardless of
<v Speaker 1>the storyline, which is kind of a funky storyline with
<v Speaker 1>Rhea and Oscar and Charlotte, I think all three women are,
<v Speaker 1>as you said, are insanely talented, and they did put
<v Speaker 1>on a match that you would expect. They didn't blow
<v Speaker 1>me away, but they didn't disappoint either. It was kind
<v Speaker 1>of like, okay, yeah, that's what I thought it would be,
<v Speaker 1>and it was very good. And yeah the ending is
<v Speaker 1>you said, probably a camera angle fail by the by
<v Speaker 1>the cameraman because I don't see any of the reason,
<v Speaker 1>and it was told to Corey Graves who said it
<v Speaker 1>on air. I'm like, oh, okay, I get it now,
<v Speaker 1>so that's fine, and uh, yeah, I also noticed that
<v Speaker 1>Charlotte Flair's gear was trending on Twitter. Her gear was
<v Speaker 1>an homage to Corrella Deville. She was wearing like the
<v Speaker 1>the patch black and white, so that was actually a
<v Speaker 1>supposed to be kind of a queue to Correlladville, the villain.
<v Speaker 1>So it was a very It wasn't lost on Twitter,
<v Speaker 1>which I didn't actually pick up on until I saw it.
<v Speaker 2>So yeah, I actually had that in my because I'm
<v Speaker 2>I do this series called Dig You Catch that. I
<v Speaker 2>did not post it actually yet. I'm not sure if
<v Speaker 2>I'm going to still post it because I have some
<v Speaker 2>other stuff to do, but I actually had that in there.
<v Speaker 2>I also have if you don't know, the Ray Ray
<v Speaker 2>Mysterio was actually dressed up as Batman's old comic as well.
<v Speaker 1>Oh Man Okay, well, okay, I missed that completely. See
<v Speaker 1>that's your You're you're more observant than I am and
<v Speaker 1>that kind of stuff and so but that's the job.
<v Speaker 3>I know, I know, I know certainly you do it well.
<v Speaker 3>But uh, yeah, I.
<v Speaker 1>Guess this match was fine and in real Ripley winning.
<v Speaker 1>I actually picked Charlotte to win this, and so I
<v Speaker 1>was wrong. Rear Ripley retained. And you know what, if
<v Speaker 1>you're gonna have a WrestleMania championship change hands, like the
<v Speaker 1>Raw Women's Championship, you want it to mean something and
<v Speaker 1>not just have it.
<v Speaker 3>Dropped the next pay per view.
<v Speaker 1>I think that would have sent the wrong message now
<v Speaker 1>that I think about it would have sent the wrong
<v Speaker 1>message to the women's division. And yeah, you're right. I
<v Speaker 1>don't think Charlotte Flair does get the credit she deserves.
<v Speaker 1>There are times, though, during her career or the last
<v Speaker 1>several years, where it feels like Charlotte overload, where she's
<v Speaker 1>always in a title picture, always in your face.
<v Speaker 3>She was like a double champion at one point, and it.
<v Speaker 1>Reaches a point of just just too much. Charlotte and
<v Speaker 1>her injury that had happened was to me last year
<v Speaker 1>perfectly timed. Nothing you want to see a talent get injured.
<v Speaker 1>But to me, it was like I need a break
<v Speaker 1>from Charlotte, and it.
<v Speaker 3>Came at a perfect time.
<v Speaker 1>And when she came back, I was, you know, it
<v Speaker 1>was just like a breath of fresh air. She is
<v Speaker 1>clearly the alpha female of the women's division, and whether
<v Speaker 1>the women there like it or not, I'm sure there's
<v Speaker 1>some true friction there between Charlotte and the women in
<v Speaker 1>the locker room where they feel that she always gets
<v Speaker 1>the opportunity. She's always here in the spotlight. But she's deserving.
<v Speaker 1>She's got a presence, she is superior in the ring,
<v Speaker 1>she's improved on the mic, she's reinvented herself, she's got
<v Speaker 1>I know, she's straightening her hair now, and she's got
<v Speaker 1>new makeup and new outfits. That kind of stuff makes
<v Speaker 1>a difference. She has really just become the true Charlotte Flair.
<v Speaker 3>Now.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, I'm loving it. I have no problem
<v Speaker 1>with Charlotte Flair here, not involved in the decision. It
<v Speaker 1>protects her, it remains champion.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I think you cleared it up pretty very pretty
<v Speaker 2>perfectly there.
<v Speaker 1>All right, Well, let's move on Rabisterio and Dominic who
<v Speaker 1>was injured. But we all knew what was gonna happen.
<v Speaker 1>I think this one, you know, out of all the matches,
<v Speaker 1>seemed one of the matches that seemed sort of predictable,
<v Speaker 1>given the circumstances and given the struggle the babyface that
<v Speaker 1>have to overcome, and you have Dominic who's injured, and
<v Speaker 1>you know what's gonna happen.
<v Speaker 3>He's gonna come out.
<v Speaker 1>WW loves to make their history, so you knew going
<v Speaker 1>in that there's a very high chance of the Mysterios
<v Speaker 1>becoming tag team champions.
<v Speaker 3>So once again, mister botchkay take it away on this.
<v Speaker 2>Uh, first of all, it's pretty predictable. When he got injured,
<v Speaker 2>I'm like, oh, he's gonna get do the brock lesnar
<v Speaker 2>thing where he was just gonna come back at the
<v Speaker 2>last second and pull with the win, And of course
<v Speaker 2>that's exactly what happened. I don't know, I already don't
<v Speaker 2>have too much like affection. Affection, I don't know what
<v Speaker 2>the word I'm using word I'm here. I maybe like
<v Speaker 2>excitement for the match itself, except for obviously the ending
<v Speaker 2>and the finish. I would actually more prefer to hear
<v Speaker 2>what you thought about the match overall, because I do.
<v Speaker 2>I do want to talk about the finish, But as
<v Speaker 2>for the match itself, I don't know. I'm curious what
<v Speaker 2>you thought about it.
<v Speaker 1>The match itself I thought was you know what? I
<v Speaker 1>thought it was good. I think it it was really
<v Speaker 1>a tribute to how good ray Masterio has been. It's
<v Speaker 1>like he's frozen in time. Ray Maisterio has barely lost
<v Speaker 1>a step and he has been in the ring for
<v Speaker 1>twenty plus years. This guy is just will not just
<v Speaker 1>will not age. He is still almost as good as
<v Speaker 1>he once was. And I think that him in this
<v Speaker 1>quote handicap match for about seventy five percent of the
<v Speaker 1>match was good. I could do without the kickout of
<v Speaker 1>finishers constantly. This is kind of just a running theme
<v Speaker 1>throughout almost every show. And at first three out of
<v Speaker 1>four matches you had kickouts of finishers, and it's like,
<v Speaker 1>you know, have we all just become complacent to kickouts
<v Speaker 1>of finishers? Have we all just kind of said, eh, well,
<v Speaker 1>it's expected. We shouldn't feel that way. But here's my opinion. Quickly,
<v Speaker 1>I feel like the super kick. I'm not talking about kickouts,
<v Speaker 1>but like the super kick.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like every wrestler should have signature moves that
<v Speaker 2>no one touches, and I believe a super kick should
<v Speaker 2>be a finisher, not a setup mover or even a
<v Speaker 2>close pin move. I think I feel like so many
<v Speaker 2>wrestlers are doing the suicide dives and these super kicks,
<v Speaker 2>and makes the value these these moves so significantly, especially
<v Speaker 2>when Ziggler goes and does it so well, like that
<v Speaker 2>could be used as a finisher, but because so many
<v Speaker 2>people use it nowadays, it really makes the move weaker.
<v Speaker 2>And it's just something I wanted to just quickly bring up.
<v Speaker 3>No, I couldn't agree more that those types of things.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, look at the DDT. The DDT used to be.
<v Speaker 1>A finish and it's just a transition move, And say,
<v Speaker 1>with a superkick, it's a transition move.
<v Speaker 3>Everyone does it.
<v Speaker 1>If someone actually kicks you the way that they're trying
<v Speaker 1>to make you believe they're kicking that person, it's a
<v Speaker 1>knockout shot and it should be. I mean, it was
<v Speaker 1>Shawn Michael's finish and it should remain that way. If
<v Speaker 1>Ziggler wants to, you know, apply that finish to his own, fine,
<v Speaker 1>but keep it a finish. It should not be transitional.
<v Speaker 1>It's you know that it's never going to end a.
<v Speaker 3>Match, and it should.
<v Speaker 1>I mean I could, I could go on a rant
<v Speaker 1>about that whole thing, and like you said, suicide dives
<v Speaker 1>overuse of it and braunz Stroming doing things that, while
<v Speaker 1>it's insane, will get to his match. I don't think
<v Speaker 1>he should just because he can. But anyway, I think that, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>this match was fine, and I'm fine with the Mysterios winning.
<v Speaker 1>And the reason I'm fine with it is because it's
<v Speaker 1>ultimately setting up for the USOS to challenge the Mysterios,
<v Speaker 1>probably in the next month or sooner, and gain those
<v Speaker 1>championships so that the bloodline.
<v Speaker 3>Although it's not labeled as such, have all the gold.
<v Speaker 3>And I think that's exactly what this is set up
<v Speaker 3>to do.
<v Speaker 1>It's fine for the father and son moment and it's
<v Speaker 1>a feel good moment and they can dub some nice
<v Speaker 1>harm you know, harmonic music over this in some documentary
<v Speaker 1>of the first other father and son tag team champions.
<v Speaker 3>Fine, whatever, I really did you not like that?
<v Speaker 2>Though? No, it's cool.
<v Speaker 3>It's cool that I have no problem with it.
<v Speaker 1>Like but like you said, I have very little emotional
<v Speaker 1>investment towards the Mysterios, Like I'm just kind of like, okay,
<v Speaker 1>like I like, I just I'm nostalgic towards Ray. Dominic
<v Speaker 1>does nothing for me on the mic or as a presence.
<v Speaker 3>He's good in the.
<v Speaker 1>Ring, but Dominic to me has been completely detached from me.
<v Speaker 3>Like I'm just he's just there for me anyway. So
<v Speaker 3>it was a cool moment.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, if you're actually thinking about it, and I'm
<v Speaker 1>a father now, so I'm kind of like, hey, that
<v Speaker 1>would be pretty damn cool.
<v Speaker 2>So I get it.
<v Speaker 3>I get it.
<v Speaker 2>But yeah, so yeah, I love the moment. I thought
<v Speaker 2>I did not need to get reminded every thirty seconds
<v Speaker 2>that it was the history making moment, Like how many
<v Speaker 2>times they're in the matches? You say, do you know
<v Speaker 2>if that if the mysterials win here, it's the father's son. Hey,
<v Speaker 2>did you know that if they win here, this is
<v Speaker 2>history in the manning? Oh did you know that a
<v Speaker 2>Dominic mysterio? Do you know he's the son of Ray Mysterio.
<v Speaker 2>But by the way, I agree one wholeheartedly that Ray
<v Speaker 2>has not lost a step, Like it's insane, Like he
<v Speaker 2>might be the most consistent worker in w w history,
<v Speaker 2>and I'm not even exaggerating. I truly think he might be.
<v Speaker 2>As for the ending, yeah, I thought it was great.
<v Speaker 2>I really enjoyed the ending. I never even thought about
<v Speaker 2>it with the whole bloodline thing, and now it makes
<v Speaker 2>all the sense in the world. So yeah, I'm okay.
<v Speaker 2>I'm okay with that, perfectly fine.
<v Speaker 1>Nope, And one last thing I'll say on this match
<v Speaker 1>before we move on is you know that there's a
<v Speaker 1>problem with finishers being kicked out of and the fans
<v Speaker 1>expecting it to, but now even the wrestlers are expecting
<v Speaker 1>it to. The reason I say that is when Mysterio,
<v Speaker 1>who had gotten his ass kicked for the majority of
<v Speaker 1>the match, gets a zigzag right in front of his son.
<v Speaker 1>His son doesn't even come to save him for the
<v Speaker 1>three count. He goes, eh, it's a finish, he'll kick out.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, it was like the lamest trying to come
<v Speaker 1>in to save him from a three count ever, and
<v Speaker 1>he just looks at him and he goes, oh, well,
<v Speaker 1>I guess that's either that's gonna be the end of
<v Speaker 1>the match or he's gonna kick out. I mean, that
<v Speaker 1>is one thing I'm like, dude, why are you just
<v Speaker 1>standing there go break up the count. So I don't know,

<v Speaker 1>do a whole lot to swerve you either, which is fine.

<v Speaker 1>not the right move. And Bianca Bella Air defeats Bailey,
<v Speaker 1>and I thought was a very good match. Was it
<v Speaker 1>as good as Sasha Banks and Bianca? I don't think so,

<v Speaker 1>this match. I think probably more than most, but I
<v Speaker 1>thought that they were they had good chemistry given that
<v Speaker 1>they haven't been on a big stage together before. Bionca
<v Speaker 1>Bellair was put over like a million bucks. The announcers
<v Speaker 1>were telling, reminding us how great her stamina is and
<v Speaker 1>that she her cardiovascular all these things about just putting.
<v Speaker 3>Her over and that's their job. That's fine.
<v Speaker 1>Uh, And so Bionca bell Air again shows you how
<v Speaker 1>she can rise to the occasion in a big moment. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>there was the botch at the end with her hair. Now,
<v Speaker 1>even if that botch didn't happen, which I think is
<v Speaker 1>really one of the only botches of the show, is that,
<v Speaker 1>you know, do you want Bionca bell Air using something
<v Speaker 1>like that even if the botch didn't happen and it
<v Speaker 1>went cleanly to win the match, and they could say, oh,
<v Speaker 1>turnabout's fair play.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, but it's her own hair. I mean, you're not.

<v Speaker 1>I mean, I guess the equivalent would be your opponent's
<v Speaker 1>trying to pull your tights, so you reverse it and

<v Speaker 1>it is kind of a tainted victory with Bianca Belair.

<v Speaker 2>I think that was Beyonca Belair's best match in a WWE. Wow.

<v Speaker 2>you know, taunting really well there and playing the veteran

<v Speaker 1>brutal twisting the arm man and man o man. Credit

<v Speaker 2>good selling. He made it look like he was legitimately hurt,
<v Speaker 2>and it's just a natural talent with him. With Cesarro,
<v Speaker 2>I love that it took multiple guillotines to take him out.

<v Speaker 2>he didn't tap. I love that he kind of just
<v Speaker 2>went out, you know strong. I can't believe it was
<v Speaker 2>a clean finish just because of all the storylines that

<v Speaker 1>he is, He's making facial expressions, he's laughing, he's saying
<v Speaker 1>things under his breath that the mic is picking up
<v Speaker 1>that kind of stuff. It makes you feel like you're
<v Speaker 1>not supposed to hear it, and it makes it more
<v Speaker 1>real where they don't have a microphone in their hand,
<v Speaker 1>it's just the audio from the camera that catches it.
<v Speaker 1>That stuff that he does no one else is doing
<v Speaker 1>in their match. I mean, Roman Reigns is throughout. One
