else. Yeah, it's good bathroom walls. If I'm a number on most
bathroom wall West Hollywood, just yeah, you do very well. Yeah,
usually written in the grout, very very very fine, sharpie. I've done
it myself, so that's right. That's right. Well, you're your your
claim to fame is astonishing because I always like going because we met it at
various uh comic cons over the years, and your artwork is astonished. It
is just amazing. Well, it's it's magic to me. It's really fun.
I love what I do, and uh, I mean it's I I
kind of consider myself like cat dad right now. My main job is just
getting cat hair off of my shirt when I'm not traveling. Oh yeah,
yeah, but yeah, it's a lot of fun. And I anything is
getting to getting to travel and see the world and meet you incredible people.
And uh, I think at the time this airs, we can talk about
it. Uh. I've been involved with Disney's Larcana for uh for a bit
now, and that's just that's just launched. We have chapter four that's just
launched, and uh so people are really excited about it. It's it's it's
a very very huge hit for Disney right now and Robinsburger, So can you
hook us up with some really expensive cars? I might Yeah, if you
see anybody guy. Yeah, it was a guy. They're hard to find
and it's people have like sort of come out and complained about how hard they
are to find, but nobody knew what a massive hit this was gonna be.
Robins Berger has been around for a long long time, and uh,
of course they have a huge fan base for puzzles and merchandise and everything,
and uh, they've got a big collaboration with Disney that's gone on. But
this Larcana game, it's like, you know, it's it's a it's a
collectible player game. It's like Magic the Gathering or any you know, Pokemon
these things. But it's really neat because it's, uh, it's everything in
it is iconic. So the characters are all based on classic icons and I
I love classic Disney storytelling, so it's nice that everything starts out with with
these characters and these archetypal characters that we've kind of grown to know and love,
and they're not they haven't pushed it in a crazy direction for no reason.
It's like they take these characters, they tell these great stories and uh,
and the artwork, it's it's pretty unrivaled. The team on it is
just it's just amazing. So it's a huge privilege to be involved. And
that's launching. Uh, well, we have some I can't talk too much
about it, you know them M D D. Yes, it's it's it's
really fun. That's good that you actually pay attention to the Well I just
blab for you. Yeah, well that's great. Yeah. So that's and
then we've got I'm working with, Uh, there's an apparel brand called Roosevelts,
which is a really high end apparel brand. Just finished uh doing something
with clothing. Yeah, yeah, they they make both. They're actually friends
of the podcast. You're gonna be sending us some giff gym to well,
I'm so happy they should be. Gym's gonna look awesome in that stuff.
Yeah, I think absolutely. So, there's it's uh, it's a lot
of it's kind of cool teky stuff, but it's pop culture. So wow,
you'll have like a cool, like universal brand. And sure you're not
sure if that's what it is until you see it a little bit closer.
Uh, so I just finished doing a cool like Spielberg thing with them.
Oh and we have some great stuff coming up at D twenty three, but
can't really launch it quite yet, but it's it's really exciting. So when's
the next D twenty three August August? Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah,
yeah, So we've got that coming up. And can you give me
a ticket to this again? I think I know a guy I can.
I can hook you up. He knows a guy. I'll just put it.
We'll make a paper mask. I'll just you just wear there you go.
Yeah, and then we got Stitch number one, the comic that just
launched the number one cover I just finished sold out, I think. Uh.
And then we've got Hercules and Lilo and yeah, we got Hercules.
That's that's coming out that I just finished doing. And then a much more
stuff in the pipe. But you know, you know, stuff, stuff
I love. Okay, I gotta sell you. So yeah, my gorgeous
bond is bringing me. So why what's that? Yes, I had presented
Jim with this. Uh, it's it's it's dark Wing. I discovered it
to dark Wing trying stand up, said yeah, it's stand up, it's
the it's themed for socks into a bar and then and then he says,
ouch h well look at that. Look that that is. That's good stuff
right there, Ladies and gentlemen, worth the price of admission. Thank you,
thank you so much. And I also signed it too. I also
brought him some some honey candy from Tokyo, which we were in last week.
You've been to Tokyo. Yeah, uh oh, jim, I loved
you. Gotta go, yeah, I gotta get a flip. The disney
parks in Tokyo are unrivaled. We want to we want to go. Like
the second that you it's like Hawaii. The second that you get there,
you're really dreading the day you have to leave because it's oh a special place.
So you gotta go Tokyo Osaka and some of the best food in the
world. Call my agent your books for a convention next year. Well i'll
go. If he's going, I'll just go stand in line. Wait,
just an excuse to go to Tokyo and diddy Bop. Yeah, I love
that. And they there's this food there. They have something called okinomiyaki and
it's like a Japanese pancake from Karate Kid. Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Wait, that was different. He was the very he was the the guy
he beat up the I think in the third film. Uh, but it's
a Japanese pancake and they mix it all up and they grill it right in
front of you with seafood and this Japanese mail and yeah, it's amazing.
I ate way too much. When I was there, I could request a
fork though, right if you Yeah, I think it's automatic execution if you
don't try chopsticks first. But they'll, well they might are a white guy,
they might let you use. We were there for for cherry blossom season.
It was cool blossom for like four days and then that was right.
Yeah, that it was crazy this year, it was it kept getting sort
of like later and later we were thinking we were gonna miss it. And
uh. We stayed at the Mera Costa, which is the this hotel that
kind of overlooks Tokyo Disney c And there's this big, gorgeous, blinding white
cherry blossom that was the It had just started a blossom. It was there
for like one day. The time we left, it was just bear and
it's just yeah, it doesn't no, it's a it's a it's a blink
of an eye. It's so we were super lucky and and got to see
the cherry blossom. So that's a beautiful thing. And I just I love
Japan the little hot drinks that you get at They have these vending machines that
you pop your yen in and there's these great little coffees that are like a
buck American and they come hot in the can, and it's it's just something
you have to do every morning. Yeah, Like you get so excited to
make one of these these one dollar like hot coffee vetting machines and they're sweet.
And again, I I ate and drank way too much. Why we
do eat and drink too We eat and drink too much. I'm there,
Yeah, of course, let me know next time I'll be I'll tag along.
Yeah, podcast from there. That's the only reason I'm convinced that we
even do do conventions is to is to eat different food from different cities and
and hang out and hang out and and see fun people who you get to
you get to see how you've touched them. We were talking about it earlier.
It's incredible and yeah, it's really something. Well, the effect that
you have on people, especially when when you see it's such a weird I
put them right to sleep. It's such a it's such a weird thing when
because it's so surreal, it's like it's the first time that you you know,
I remember when I was a kid. I was like eleven or twelve,
and I saw Jerry Seinfeld in person at like the gallery and he was
standing there and he was Terry Scienti he was Jerry side Felt, but it
was it was, Yeah, it's so surreal because you've only seen him on
the TV screen and then to see it in person, you can't quite process
that this person it was it was real. And that's what it is when
when with everything that you do, people people see that and they hear that
and it's it's real, and it's just it's like something just goes kind of
well, it's gonna happen with you too. Yeah, well yeah, I've
talked about that. It's what happens is it's a uh it activates something uh
in their head and uh, oh my goodness, would you pass the honey
please? And you can see yeah, I'm five, you know they they
they're five years old and uh, and that's that's that's the power of these
characters. I think, you know, that's a special gifts. Tugs read
at their heartstrings and it's got to be wild that that's I mean, that's
all over the world, no matter where you are in the world. Yeah,
that has affected people in English speaking the countries and speaking countries, right,
but uh, that's gotta be a it's beautiful. Yeah, it's I
love it. It's a gift and I'll never take it for granted. I'll
never you know, never abuse it. And to see like parents bringing their
kids like you might have met them when they were a teenager, all of
a sudd and they're bringing their baby to you, oh yeah, to meet
you or get a photo. So I have had that many times. I've
been doing this for so long. It's just you know, you know we're
raising them, right, you know we've got their dark wing dark videos.
Yeah. Oh that it's people bring VHSS. I've signed very many of those,
many of those because we used to have actual art on those things.
And it's just nothing. I can't like Disney like stop producing their their physical
media altogether. That's a good point. It's it's just so weird that there's
like in five years we're not going to have anything produced to really sign except
for special editions of things and maybe the occasional like big metal box release and
even on like the streaming services, they they tend to just kind of use
like a frame from the show or whatever, like as the title, and
you know that it changes based on what you watch. Yeah, of course.
Like it's like if you watch like a lot of comedy stuffs, like
they'll put like a comedy scene from like different Well, it's it's I was
with a dinner with Pedro O'Hara last week and she was saying the same thing
that people are. She's not signing like any like physical material unless it's like
older stuff and she'll get a cool like album or or one of the metal
cases or things like that. But it's it's really weird to think that there's
not going to be hard media physical media. That's yeah, I don't I'm
not crazy about that. Remember you remember the old albums that you would go
and you'd kind of slid it with your fingernails. Yeah, now that's coming
back though, right, I think. So I've actually got a whole collection
of vinyl Santrax, right, Yeah, Yeah, I have a good little
collection of vinyls too. Yeah, they do it right down under. Yeah
they do. Yes, just a physical media because I'm a big physical media
guy myself. It's just that I feel now a lot of viewers they're going
to miss out on things like the special features, like the audio commentaries,
which I'm big on, and the behind the scenes documentaries and all the stuff
that goes into showing you how they made the film, because I didn't put
that stuff on the streaming services. So I feel like now that physical media
is kind of dying, even though I still buy it. A lot of
people in their little viewers they might not be interested in it, but I
am. But I think there's a lot of people like that who are still
interested in how they made the film, and I think it's a shame that
they're going to miss out on that kind of stuff. Well. Also,
god forbid, they decide to switch platforms or the way that they present the
streaming and everything that you've paid for over the years just sort of evaporates into
into thin air. Like so, I think the best way to do it
is still to you know, sort of buy by physical means I don't but
so hypocritical, Yeah, well, I wish I had a video tape player
these days. Yeah, I used to have one. I wonder what those
go for these days or if they feel like they'd be expensive. Yeah,
well I don't know if they sell them, did you. That was my
last normal job, yeah, the Video Depot and Anaheim Hills. I was
a video deep manager of Video Depot and Anaheim Hill And uh yeah, my
sister and brother in law they owned they started up a chain. I think
they ended up with like ninety stores. Wow, and not not anymore.
I mean yeah, yeah, of course I remember. There was a little
mini doc about the last Blockbuster. Yeah, Oregon Portland or something. Yeah,
then some guys going over there and renting smoking in the band that you
know. But that was a thing when I was a kid. We would
and like it was cool. My mom would fix pasta. She was a
school teacher, so there wasn't a whole lot that you know, there was
not a hole of cooking at home. It was wow, she was busy.
We would she would fix the thing of pasta and she we would like
go and like rent Shitty Chitty Bang Bang or rent Robin Hood like we would
rent VHS's. But we were we grew up pretty poor, and so we
would like have to rent the VHS player as well, So we would like
but that would be a thing. Yeah, you would, That would be
a thing. And then you know, the occasionally ruined the tape and then
you'd be responsible for that, Yes you would, but we would get stuff
from the library. You're the ones who used to bring back the I had
to rewind up with my finger, as I'm sorry to say, but then
you then you were able to splice it with a bit of scotch tape.
I did make it work. I did that too, Yeah I did.
How many plays did it get? After the scotch? She kept on going?
It was fine. Yeah, I don't feel so guilty. Yeah,
well I have all my old old home movies of my kids who were like
like a forty year old now and yeah, you know, and and when
she was this this old, they were all, you know, it felt
like ancient technology. Now did you have the Giant camp Horror? And I
had that? Then you had to lose. Yeah, I have the last
uh yeah, the last Gummy Bear session on videotape. Wow, And I
took it and back then nobody cared. You know, I was walking in
with this big old goofy microphone or camera, and then the pack over here
and there's Tress McNeil and Corey Burton and uh, just the whole game.
Rob Paulson who was just here. You know, all these people. It
was the last Gummy Bear session and it was cool as hell. You know.
Lorenzo Music was there. Wow, the great Lorenzo of course, well
gee gee Garfield, you know, and that he he would joke around and
goes what kind of voice should I do? And they go, that's a
good one, Lorenzo. Okay, you know that was it. That was
it, you know. And because he only did him, that's amazing.
Yeah, he was Carlton, the doorman on Mary Tyler Moore Show. Did
Stephen Wright ever do voiceover work? You know? Stephen right? Yeah,
I want to say he did. He did of those Hercules that's right,
Yeah, yeah, and he and and Gold. Yeah I shouldn't. I
just did that Hercules cover. So I'm did all kinds of research. I
should have known that. That's I remember. I saw him like when I
was a teenager and we had I was a teenage actor. I was a
kid and I was auditioning all that stuff. And we had the same agency.
It was kind of a big agency. And there was a globe sitting
on the guy's desk, the agent's desk, and he came over and he
slowly walked over. He peeled off a piece of Scotch tape and he put
it right on the coast, on the west coast. He said, California
will never fall off into the ocean. I didn't really get it at the
time, but now I think it's hilarious. Wow, yeah, I know
it so far, so good. Yeah. Yeah, Now is there a
guaranteed? Did that take the way they've been building? No, it's definitely.
Yeah, that's funny. Wow, California even getting up here. We're
we're here in so cal But it's quite the adventure, man. California is
its own thing. Yeah, you know, yeah, I mean three hours.
It's it's weird because it can take us all else is long to get
from our house. We're we're on the coast to get from our house to
Vegas, as it takes to get from anywhere else in La to anywhere else
in La. Yeah, it's like three hours and no matter what. Yeah,
you just guaranteed. You got to prep for it. Yeah, and
it's just getting I bring it as higher chicken. Yeah yeah, and it
has time to grow from an egg. I just throw a couple of eggs.
I could have fried chicken. But the time I get over to Marina,
al right, it's not right, that's not fair. Yeah, it's
the huts. Man. Are you are you used to this kind of Chris?
Are you used to this kind of La driving? Oh yeah, I
used to drive Uber all over La, and man, I have some stories
about that. It's just like you're in the car all day, man,
like the La Marathon, you pick up you pick up people and they don't
understand that, like all of I want to say it was like lebre or
something that they would shut down. It's your fault that they can't get where
they want to get. Oh yeah, of course, Oh yeah, they
get all mad. I've had the room as people have had the nicest people.
I've made friends. It's it's quite a trip just driving around La NonStop
all day and like the different parts, you know, you go to parts
that you didn't even know existed. Yeah yeah, what is over here?
Like I've never seen any of this, Like yeah, whoa, Well,
what's really crazy? Is this construction thing where if it's remember Karmageddon a few
years ago, they bought okay, so the four for those of you United
LA. They closed off the four h five. It was a private company
and they said, listen, you're getting this done within four days or whatever,
or we're charging you like like seven hundred thousand dollars a day that you're
laid on this. So they came in on a Thursday. They had to
shut down the whole freeway, they had to take off the entire bridge and
replace it. It was done by I think Saturday morning, so there was
no there was one day of interruption. M but it was supposed to be
like they were supposed to be done by like Monday or Tuesday. And uh,
because it was a private company, they finished it in just a couple
of days. And now these things are like you know, you see them
trying to fix one off rap but it's like four or five months, months,
five years, depending on where you are. It's it doesn't seem at
least a real special place. Yeah, that's a good one. It doesn't
seem like it's special there you go. Yeah, it's very unique and ironically
about Karma geddon I remember it was like one of the easiest times to get
around LA because everybody just didn't drive. They just planned driving. It was
like COVID. Yeah yeah, and then it was like wow, like I
get pretty much the Olympics because I'm old enough to remember. Yeah, and
everybody said, oh, it's gonna be We're gonna just want You're gonna want
to kill yourself. It's there's no one's gonna be able to move. There
wasn't a fear of God was put into people. They want to get It
worked like a charm. I'm wow, that's pretty cool. Yeah, okay,
yeah, just zooming down the street. But I think it was Bill
Bill Burr that was doing a bit about COVID and he's seeing all these millions
of people died as horrible, as tragic, he said, But where'd they
all go? We're still sitting here like three and a half hours of traffic.
It hasn't changed at all. Yeah, yeah, nothing's diminished. Yeah.
And I mean I remember I driving in LA during the everything when everything
just first shut down, and getting like downtown to Passadena in like eight minutes.
Yeah, it was It's just it's insane. It was so weird.
I remember watching videos of like all the way around the world and like seeing
like Times Square empty and all these like nobody on the Great Wall of China
and like it was just fascinating. It was like whoa. I remember they
had like wildlife starting to come creep back into La because they were like,
oh there's no people. Yeah, like foxes and coyotes was hanging down at
the same hall. Yeah, the river. I think at one point somebody
said the dolphins had returned to the canals of Venice. I believe it.
There was like yeah, there was like because Venice, I mean it was
it's dolphins. You were just down the canals of Venice are filthy because it's
a living place. That's just what people use. But the canals had started
to get back like a lot cleaner, and then all of a sudden,
the dolphins had like started to swim back through the canals, and there's plenty
of video of it. Yeah, it was wild Yeah, let's do that
again. What were we doing? Let's not whatever came up there, Let's
do it again. Disneyland was was I mean, they had like bears like
roaming and Disneyland and well yeah, yeah, not that kind of them.
Oh, that's funny anyway, Yes, we do, miss do miss elements
of those. We do. Indeed. Now I have to ask you when
when you were when you were a kid, when you were coming up,
did you say, there's no question I'm going to do this, I'm going
to be an artist. I'm going to be Yeah. So I was.
I was a musical theater performers, and I thought I wanted to do that
whole acting thing, but I even set design. You were, well,
I love to Yeah. Yeah, I did a ton of stuff as a
kid, and then I really loved to draw, so I thought, well,
maybe I'll be a comic book artist. And I thought, well,
I really love animations, so maybe I'm going to be an animator. And
this is like ten eleven years old. And then I'm like, well,
twenty four frames per second, That's that's too much math for me. Wow,
that's a lot of sketches. Yeah. Yeah, So I while I
continued to perform and do theater stuff, I got into set design, uh,
And I really fell in love with set design. And that was,
you know, studying Ivan durhl And and great illustrators like J. C.
Lyondecker and Gibson and and see Wyath and really early early twentieth century illustrators,
and uh, from there, I started to more move into the fine art
stuff while I was still performing. And then I'm like, well, you
know, I I can't I'm not a dancer, and uh, you know,
I don't want to be like third Chorus touring touring the US and you
know, the fifth company of Mame. So I a sentence. Yeah,
So I just like I thought, well, you know, have kids at
some point, and so I'll really focus on the art thing. And it's
it's worked out. I started. I started with Disney in ninety six,
and uh, I've uh like a like a good disease and you never quite
get rid of it. So I've I've I've been associated with them for a
long time. Yeah. What's the process on that you have to I would
imagine you have to submit? Yeah, so it depends what you're doing.
There's so many there's so many different things that there's so many aspects that I'm
involved with as far as everything from comic books to merchandise and fine art all
that stuff. So typically, yeah, what you'll do is you'll do your
sketch just typically black and white. You want to submit that for approval.
Once that gets approved, they'll come back with edits. Then you go to
a final, and then once you submit the final, they come back with
edits. But it can be a many, many month long process. So
I'm curious what kind of editing, like, what is an edit? Well,
so, I most of my stuff is traditional, So I'll work acrylic
and guash and watercolor, and I use alcohol inks and anything else I can
get my hands on at the time. But then what I'll do is I'll
scan that in and then I'll do most of my edits digitally. It's just
easier and it just takes so much less time to try to Yeah whatever,
you know, Photoshop or pro Creator whatever. I love working on on pro
Create, which is an Apple program. And uh, because I can travel
with it. I mean, if I've got an eleven hour plane ride overseas,
i can work almost the whole time. Wow. And sometimes if I've
got enough room, I'll pull out my water colors and I'll do my water
colors right there. Oh that's interesting. I can just see you. Yeah,
you know, you know, Well, it's hard because it's nobody cares
if you're typing or if you're drawing. But when you've got like water color
spread out drawing tigger and I can just see that, you know, it's
hard to like kind of get people to leave you alone. You know,
felt like what are you doing? Why? I know who that is?
Yeah, you must get that. Like I do what I get. I'll
get free drinks. They'll come over and they'll talk to me for a bit,
and then I'll have a I'll have the the airline hostess or hosts come
over and yeah, they pop a vodka crayon on my on my tables,
drop a vodka crayon. Yeah, vodka vodka cry Okay, yeah, never
mind, whatever works. Yeah. And then and then it's just kind of
this steady flow, and it's do a lot of custom commission for for folks.
And then uh, you know, like with the with the whole Disney's
doing a lot more comic books right now. So I've got a pipeline of
that coming in and yeah, it's a lot of fun. Well, they've
they've had a dark Wing duck. There is a dark Wing duck coming I.
I sometimes will get a request. I'm like, you know, I
know a guy, yeah, and he's right over there. Yeah, So
we'll sometimes get to get to march him over and when when they meet,
when they meet dark Wing. And sometimes they'll have a client that'll come to
me and they don't even know that you're there, and I'm like, I
can introduce you to a friend of mine. Yeah, and we'll walk over
and they'll they'll you know, get something autographed by him and uh, he'll
do the voices. They're walking off and they just immediate tears. Yeah,
it's pretty neat. It's fun for me because I feel kind of cool,
like the cool guy in the room for half a second. I'm not cool
dad yet? Are you cool dad yet? I have adult kids too.
I keep trying and and it was always like and this is my dad,
please don't do any any and the kids. Yeah, and they're dying here
of course, you know, no respect at home. Oh yeah, well
all sometimes have kids come and see me that know, my one of my
kids, and they, you know, see me at a comic con,
say, you know you're down. Other kids love it, But if you
have your own kids, they're not not so much. They just you just
see them solely melt like they would melt under the table. God. Yeah,
I remember a long long time ago when dark Wing was first very popular,
and these two little guys, and I was taking my kids around the
neighborhood, so I wasn't home, but my wife said the She goes,
well, these two little guys so cute you can't stand at there. They
come up and they get you know, I get them a little Snickers and
Eminems or whatever it was, and okay, and they're sitting there going they're
looking, trying to look into the house. And she goes, anything else
fellas she goes, does dark Wing Duck live here for reels? You know?
And she goes, well, actually, yeah, yeah, but but
he's uh, he's out making sure, but he's safe for Halloween. And
he goes, I told you you booker. You know, the little guy
hits his big brother. OK so I lived there for then. You were
cool, dad though, yeah, yeah, I know, weren't there to
see it. Yeah I was cool for a second. But other people's kids,
Yeah, still still the same. I keep trying. Changes, I
keep trying. My son is finally starting to kind of under he's eighteen,
he's kind of starting to understand. There you go. And so we'll talk
like he's very much into investments, and I got very involved in crypto fairly
early on. I think, yeah, well it depends on the day,
but yeah, uh, but we have that connection. So it's really cool
that he's he's asking my advice now on things, and I try to give
him moderately okay, advice about investments and things. But he's he's starting to
come around and like, I'll show him, you know, see little Arconic
car that just came out, you know, it's just announced it, and
he thinks that's pretty cool. But my daughter, I don't know. I'm
I'm gonna be cool with her one of these days. Yeah, it'll working
on it eventually, eventually. Yeah, that's the I always say, Boy
at my funeral, they're gonna love me, you know, that's what are
you gonna do? Hey, Jesus had to leave town to make it big,
that's right, and hang out with twelve guys the whole time. Yes,
indeed. But my own kids, it's it's it's neat because I there
are times that I've taken them traveling, and I that's my favorite part about
what I do is sometimes I can take them to see see really cool different
places and we're going I'm taking my son to Mexico. Uh god, next
month, a month and a half and we're doing like a father son little
trip down there. And it's a it's a cool age to do. They
have this place down there and in can Kun called ex Curret, where there's
these underground caves. Yes, oh my god, you've been. Yeah,
it's insane. It's the coolest thing in the world. It's insane. And
you're walking along and you gotta be careful where you walk. Yeah, when
you're up top, yeah, because you Yeah, it's hundreds of feet in
the air. And Charlotte and I went there actually during the pandemic when everything
was still kind of closed down. There was nothing else to do, so
you got to go to Mexico and see explore Caribbean caverns, I guess.
But there's these caverns that you can drive, these like s. It's like
Indiana Jones. You drive these s uvs underneath these these subterranean caverns with waterfalls,
and it's it's real. You're in the jungle and it's it's the real
deal. Yeah. I love that. Oh my god, it's amazing.
I love Did you swim? I think you swim with dolphins too? Oh
yeah, yeah, because it's right on the coast there. Yeah. And
there's this other place that we went. Uh. I used to have a
place in Porto Aarta and we would you go up into the mountains and they
have one of the longest zip lines in the world going through like the jungle
up there with the ziplines and you see these like as you're going by,
you see these crazy animals. Yeah. Yeah, it's it's it's terrifying,
but yeah, but wonderful. Yeah. Ziplining is one of my favorite things
to do. Yeah, I've done that once, have you? And that
was it? Yeah? Well, I mean I was only there. I
would go I would do it again. Well we do? Will we do
another show? Would never do that? She would? She does not.
It's not heights. Well she's like, now I'll be right down here.
You video you Yeah, she'll hold yourself out. Yeah. Well, well
we'll go ziplining and something. Yeah, there you go. We must I'm
there, I'm there. I love doing anything that that that would make my
life insurance person. Yes, sweat Have you ever sky No? And I
tell you I was going to skydive until I had kids, and then it
was just like I just couldn't. I think I would when they were grown
up and okay, but you know what I mean, when I'm still responsible
for him. I just I just can't stomach the idea of Yeah, tandem,
I think I do tandem. You know. But we were just in
Kawai a couple of days ago and we were snorkeling. I guess somebody like
the day after we were there was storkling in Kawai and they a wave just
swept them out and they were gone. So it's like you never know in
Kawai. Yeah, you just well, that one shore is pretty scary.
Yeah, well, all of Kawhi is pretty scary. I mean there's there's
there's some really I mean some of those like those apparently those rip currents are
terrified. Yeah yeah, yeah. Got cutt in one once and took me
half an hour to get in. Scared the crap out of me. And
I was just on a on a one of those little mini surfboards. I'm
splashing away. I came came aground like a mile away from where it was.
You just get so exhausted that and then every thing starts looking like a
shark, every palm leaf, that's yeah, yeah, right white now you
hear yeah, oh oh I'll pass. I'm not I can swim okay.
But some of these guys that are out there. You see these kids like
twelve years old and they're surfing and they's like eighteen twenty foot waves and it's
no big deal. Or they're jumping off of forty foot cliff into this.
I qualified to watch. No. Were we're just sitting the last week.
We were sitting there and watching these kids, little kids like sevent eight years
old somebody. And they're literally jumping, you know, twenty thirty feet into
the into the drink dolphin. Well, God love them. Yeah, they're
gonna do it without me. I don't have the nerves. How about this
guy, he's he lives. You've got your own private beach, right,
wasn't that the jump? But crocodile dundee? Yeah, if you back you
out here in Australia, we've got a beach, kangaroos, Kohila's beaches,
you name it. They do you have a beach in Australia. I heard,
yeah, I've heard about that. That's the thing. Everywhere you look
in Australia, you see a beach. The whole country is just surrounded by
one big beach. Then put the beaches also have sharks in them. And
everywhere you look is some creature that will kill you. Oh yeah, it's
a living nightmares, dangerous creatures everywhere. You chick your shoes every time you
put your shoes on in case there's a spider in there. You're reaching for
the mail in the letter box, you got to make sure there's no spiders
and they they're going to get you. It's it's horrifying. What's the biggest
spider that you've you've personally seen downe there? So this is the thing.
It doesn't matter how big a spider is, they can still get you.
We've got so many deadly spiders here in Australia, but a lot of them
are small ones. We've got these ones called red back spiders. They're black
with red stripes down the back, as you may imagine, and they might
not be big ones, but if they get you, your own serious trouble.
So you want to get bit by the bigger at spider is the better.
Well, we do have some big spiders. We've got ones that we
find every day just about here. They're called huntsmand spiders and they can get
pretty big. But we don't bother about them. That they don't hurt us.
We don't hurt them. They actually catch the flies for us, which
is good. You got a bed at night, you look up on the
roof, Hey it's a husband spider still sleeping. Not bother but that we
may eat it in our sleep, as we tend to do. We eat
spiders apparently. But you're not worried about husband spiders, But you do worry
about the little ones or the red backs, like I mentioned, they're the
ones that will get you and score. I myself have never seen a scorpion
in the wild. We probably have many of them in the desert, but
I'm more on the coast, so we don't tend to have any scorpions,
I don't think in the wild here on the coast in the Shia, We've
got plenty. In Texas. Oh yeah, because the little ones. Again,
like the little ones. I remember I left uh something in Texas a
sweater like twenty five years ago, and my friend had to mail it back
to me and there was a eats a bit sea scorpion in there, and
I said, what the hell alive? Didn't yeah, alive? And I
was like, you got to be kidding me. How the hell you just
have scorpions hanging around? Is that it? And I didn't know. I
didn't know. God, yeah, I've never seen one. Ooh, I've
not. I mean i've seen them at you know, a museum whatever,
But I've never seen like a living scorpion just just roaming. Well, I'm
a scorpio. That helps. It's probably not the same. No, probably
my tail doesn't. I know. You're a palm spring. Yeah, people,
I've seen them in Palm Springs. Yeah, it's a ton of Arizona.
Yeah, Arizona. You want to see a big one. That's another
thing too. The smaller ones are the most poisonous ones. Yeah, the
big ones. You want to see a big one. If you see a
small and they go in visible too. There's the ones that go invisible like
they can camouflage. Yeah, man, that's not that's the one that you
don't want to put your foot in the shoe. And I didn't know that.
I was in Arizona visiting a friend and there was this tiny, little,
invisible scorpion. I saw him crawling around the carpet, just stepped on
him, squished. He was like, dude, like even with even with
shoes on, like just don't like get them outside, like you don't want
to freaking mess because they can they can still poison you after they'll tell their
friends. Yeah yeah, yeah, that's the guy that tried to kill me.
See that thanks to him. No, George, why I have an
orphan George. I brought home I think it second or third grade. I
brought home a tarantula. It was like a school classroom thing and it was
like you would take you know, custody of this spider and take it home
and care of it. But I grew to love this little guy because he
was huge and he was terrifying looking, but he was really sweet and like
I heard thes like really have a personality too, but they do. I'm
not a I don't think i'd ever have spiders, and I definitely wouldn't have
snakes. I don't. I don't trust people with pet snakes. I do
not trust them big ones at all. If you have a pet snake,
if you have a pets snake, I don't trust you. I get the
little ones. If it's a cute little green like garden snakes, hands would
you like throw the shirt and garters. Yeah, little garter snakes. There'll
be a baby. No. I had a childhood friend and they had like
a whole like what do you call it, like a terrarium to it.
They had like a boa constrictor and like it was like a room like the
size of this, and they have rocks and every they had a boa constrict
They had like alligators and this is up in Vancouver, like it was.
They had to have like a hat. They had like heat lampshore. I
remember it was so hot in that room. And you gotta feed the mice.
That what I couldn't do that? Yeah, you got that. Yeah.
I had a friend who had one and it's like what what do you
what are these little white but oh so that's what he was for, you
know. Goodbye. Well see our cat. And I'm I am not a
cat person. I've never been a cat person. I hate cats except that
we have to. Yeah, and so there's that. I'm I'm out with
my kids and I get a call from Charlotte and Jimmy I found a cat.
And there was a cat that was sitting right in the ice plant on
the sand by our house and the beach there and uh is this little tiny
black and white thing. And so I go to pet Smart and buy a
bunch of stuff and then I come home and that was it, and now
I'm a cat person. And then now she found she decided that he needed
a friend. So now that's when you score. Yeah, yeah, well
no, so now we've got a bunch of dried fish that I feed them.
Oh that is like a little tree is so disgusting, I want Yeah,
yeah, they smell good. They go feral. These cats go the
second that they realize that's what you're doing, it immediately turn into these And
I've been around tigers. I've been when I was in Africa. I've been
around tigers. I've fed tigers, I've held tigers. These cats are more
terrified for that because immediately the claws come out and they're they're claw. They'll
claw you anywhere they can as long as they get that horrible looking little dried
fish. Yeah yeah, yeah, well they can have mine. You guys,
you guys, don't have you have a dog? Uh not not now?
No, just two cats, two cats, two cats in the yeah,
two cats in you and a bunch of fish and they yeah, a
big, nice beautiful fish tank and uh you know, the cats will take
turns sitting up on there going man, I'll tell you what. It's just
the foow, it's it's we goddamnit is that well, they'll think about it.
They'll think about it once, only once, and then it's like no,
no, you know, it's just to get bored easily. Yeah.
I think they just go up there to set goals. Do they want it?
And a tennis match watching they're looking, they're looking like, come on,
come on, jump out nothing. Yeah, but hey, cis lev
and then you've got to go. I mean, those tanks are not easy
to clean. You do you take the thing? My brother's got a thing
with a magnet where it's gonna sponge on the inside of the magnet. You
got that one. And I also have a guy who comes and does it,
because I don't know, it's two people to clean the tank, you
and you and the guy. No, no, I watch you know,
yes, what are they? Is it? Tropical? Is? Oh?
That's so amazing. There's a My favorite thing in there is a little crab.
Oh really yeah, like hiding under the Yeah, he comes home in
there and then every now and then, what's that big slug? It's a
giant slug, right, I haven't seen him in like two years. Yeah,
there's a shrimp shrimp, yeah, yeah, yeah, I was thinking
of him. Yeah yeah, that guy was funny. Nemo basically is what
Yeah, well yeah, yeah, yeah, we got a couple of Nemos.
That's really got a couple of doories in there. That's really neat.
Yeah we do, actually I think of it. I've forgotten about that reference.
But yes, so you know what the few yeah, yeah, yeah,
they struggled by without me. I think they did just fine. He
did, Okay, I want to I wanted to ask you, do you
have a favorite piece of art that you've done over the years. Oh my
gracious, well what is it? It's like the favorite bit of oxygen is
whichever one you just took, you know. But uh yeah, Actually there's
an aerial I just did too long ago called Ocean's Serenade. I really love
painting Aeriel. I love painting Ariel. Were you in that one? You
were? You were? Were you a little mermaid? Okay? Then the
first one I sang a little bit, and then the third one I was
triting. Oh amazing. You have the apps, you have the Triton apps.
Yes, I do. Yeah, not with me. Yeah, there
you go. See that was see it back to my childhood. I didn't
see the third one, but now I have to. It was the good
one. Yeah. I love painting Ariel because Ariel's got there's so many options
for her. I can put her above the water if their dress or under
the water. And I think you don't have to draw toes. That's that's
right. I don't have to struggle. Knees are very difficult, so I
stay away from the knees. But you know, Jodie's been a a friend
for years now and getting to sort of. Of course. I didn't know
her when I was a kid. And when I was in sixth grade,
I remember Back to the Future I think it was two. It just come
out, and uh it was you know, all the kids were going to
see Back the Future at the local movie theater at mission viaj Mall and uh,
and I like chose to see The Little Mermaid and I I wasn't embarrassed
about it or anything. I just I loved classic An too. It sounded
incredible. I mean it's you know, Alan Mankin, so it's I mean
the score was just extraordinary. Yes, and I watched it. I remember
just being in awe the entire time watching that film because I hadn't seen a
big screen film that affected me like that as a kid. I mean,
we used to go like, uh to the summer movies, you know,
where it's a dollar a movie and you get to see Willie Walker or whatever.
We saw some of the the older films on the big screen, but
it wasn't like this. This was a real cinematic experien and I loved it,
and it was it felt I mean, nothing's Sleeping Beauty, but it
felt right up there with the classics for me. So that was a very
long answer. But I love I love painting Aerial and Bell. I mean,
I really love the classic Disney princesses. Aurora is really tough to do.
Oh really, if I ever get her right, I like, I
like painting her, but otherwise, well, she got a chin on her
and it's it's it's subtle. But Floyd Norman tells a story that normally you'd
be able to get uh, one second of animation completed and approved per day
because Floyd Norman worked on the original Sleeping Beauty, which is he's been around
a few years. Yeah, and fifty fifty fifty seven, fifty seven.
Somebody, somebody fact checked me on that. Yeah, but Floyd said that
fifty thank you. It was in production fifty seven just so fast. So
I was just giving Chris the chance first you beat me by a second.
It was he said that they were lucky to get one one frame approved of
Aurora in a day, not one second. If you think that, it's
twenty four frames per second, so it's one twenty fourth of a second.
What was the of approved animation? She just I mean Mark Davis, who
was a head anime. I mean Mark Davis was a genius, and it
was Aurora was so difficult to get right, just because the structure of her
was so unique and if you if she was off just a little bit,
she would be awful lot. And it's even now painting her, drawing,
drawing her. It has to be just right. So it's a lot of
work to get her right. The others are pretty I didn't know that I
would have put her right in with the gang. I know, it's a
weird. It's a weird thing. I think it's just that style in the
way that her hair, the way that rors that briar rose hair swoops around
also has to be just right because otherwise it just it looks off. And
so you see people just drawing this, you know, a pretty blonde,
but it's not. It ain't Mark Davis as pretty blonde. So what do
you think that Mark Davis? He did her. Mark Davis drew The Pirates
in Paris of the Caribbean, the original concepts for the attraction, and he
did Maleficent, same guy did all of that. What it's like you with
dark Wing and Hubert and you It's amazing what people have in them when when
given that kind of task. Yeah, and it's also so interesting, like
you're saying that, and then you can kind of backtrack and you see like
there are in the character designs. But if without that knowledge, you know,
it's hard to trace, Like even now, you know, like I
can hear Jim's voice in characters that I didn't know, Yeah, you know,
and I'd never be able to pick that up before if I hadn't known
Jim in person. When it was the first time you went to Disneyland when
you were did you go as a kid? Oh no, but I did
go before I worked for Disney. Yeah, yeah, I went where my
eldest daughter was maybe three. I can still remember lugging that big stupid video
camera all around and that that was a lot of fun special. Yeah,
and it was. It was very expensive. Yeah, well that hasn't changed
any Yeah that doesn't know, that's gotten worse. But yeah, here I
enjoyed this chureroh. It's ten bucks. Yeah not to I know this.
Maybe we can get Tokyo Disney to sponsor your podcast. But one of the
great things to send me a plane ticket or five. Yeah, come on,
Tokyo. They would love to have puber over there. I know,
I think they would. Tokyo Disney like you go and the food is reasonable
and like you could get into the part of us. That's the first Like
fifty bucks man, really they have like a think of three. It's a
good exchange rate. Well, I know we're very well, we're very rich
over there right now. Oh but uh it's I think after three pm it's
like thirty bucks. You guys aren't that far from Tokyo in a in Australia.
I think it's about an eight hour flight. Yeah, it's not too
bad, do you guys? Do you guys have what movie land down there?
Is it move. We've got some theme parks, big ones like the
ones in the States. We've got up towards in the North and Queens and
we've got SeaWorld, Movie World and it's nothing on Dreamwood and a water park
called Wet and Wild, but nothing really like big theme park wise down the
bottom of Australia. But there have been rumors of a potentially a Disneyland coming
down here near Melbourne, Gelong, which is need Melbourne down here the bottom
of Australia. If we can get that, then I think we're in a
good stead there. Yeah, that would work because I know that they had
done because and how far are you from Singapore? Not that far? Four
to five hours? Four hours? Yeah, Singapore has got some great stuff
too. Yeah, you must go to Singapore. I must. I think
I will. Maybe we'll get him to Singapore this year. Yes, I
know what got you? Would you'd I would think Singapore's unbelievable. Talk about
great food? Yeah, actually, oh my god, the food's amazing,

show on Netflix? No? Oh, well, basically it's the guy who
created Everybody Loves Raymon, Phil Rosenthal. He travels the world and just it's
like essentially a vlog of him just going to various restaurants and eating their food
and telling us all about it and trying all new cuisines and stuff. So
basically he just he earns a living by going around and eating food, which
sounds like the dream to me. Yeah, of course, Wow that works.
I mean, so you need to start your own foody show. I
think maybe they'd be great. I know nothing about food. I just know
I like to eat it. Yeah, I know that. Yeah, I
know that part. I make red beans and race and that's like most I
don't even do that. And for heat, I screw. I screw up
jello. Yeah, not bad as that. Yeah. I tried to make
jello for my kids when they were little on it. But there's always room
for it too, ye to Bill Cosby, Yeah, Jim, don't you
do a special kind of toast? Iboy telling me on a previous podcast you
make some sort of really special toast dish or something, well French toast.
No, just what's it with the egg in the middle? Oh sure,
Well that's Some people call him a popeye, and some people call him a
man on a raft. And you get a you get the top of a
spray can or like a pam or something like that. Take that off,
put it right in the center of the bread. You work it around,
pulls out a perfect perfect circle. Throw that on there. Throw some butter,
Get that egg on there, Put a little ham on top, flip
it over. Count to one to do, and you know, and you
cook it according to your preference of your egg, you know, kilinary delight.
And it's yeah, they call him a popeye and a man on a

and I mean and it's and it's just easiest pie, you know, egg
bread, boom, little butter. I could maybe I can maybe manage that,
you could, Yeah, I think, don't you think? Charlotte cheese,

got your I got a couple of self, that's right. And you still
can throw the cheese on when you flip it over, throw the cheese on,

What's what's her specialty dish? Oh? She makes great Brussels sprouts. Now,
like I I kind of introduced her to really good Brussels sprouts and I
hate a Brussels sprous me too. But God, if you have Brussels sprouts
with a bit of garlic and bacon and uh, okay, they're not real
Brussels sprouts, they're like really unhealthy Brussels sprous, but they taste great.
Yeah, well bacon, throw a bacon with anything. Did you know that
Brussels sprouts everybody always says, you know, I hated them as a kid.
Did you know that today that they're actually a different genetic strain. I
believe they really do taste different than years ago. Like it's not just the
perception. They used to stink. Yeah, I mean my mom made him
a couple of times, and they used to really stink. Yeah, they've
really they've hated broccoli and now I love I love all that stuff. And
air frar is the key. Yeah, I've got one of those. Well,
you should try sitting in the garage yet covered. Yeah, they make
the best French friest here in l A that you tend to. Oh boy,
not not really all that much. Musso and Frank's was kind of family
now and then, but uh, Masters not bad. Yeah, Mastress is
good because there's one by you, right, one by me? Yeah,
yeah, that's about it. Have you been to Mahiro you Mahiro is great,
amazing view. Yes, yeah that's true. Huh and Nobus great too.

a Jewish deli amazing amazing, uh West hollywoods Yeah, it's like Fairfax District.
Yeah yeah, man, man, there's a Jewish DELI know how to
make potato pancakes. I love cans and Brooklyn egg creams great. Yes,
I've had that in Brooklyn. That's crazy. I don't know if I don't
know how to compare it to Canters in Brooklyn, but yeah, they're pretty
good. Well were you saying down in Australia they have Jewish delis. Jimmy
is food hot to draw. It's Okay, so there's a funny story.
It's funny you should ask. So I, as I mentioned, I was
heavily involved in in crypto, in cryptocurrency and very heavily involved n f T
S and I was pretty successful at it, and I'm very feel, very
grateful I got in at the right time. And uh, there was this
n FT series that I created that was called Notorious Aliens, and they all
these guys had three eyes. But the whole thing was they were, uh
powered by these spaceships that were made out of food. So you would have
like a pizza that looks sort of like a like a star destroyer, or
you would have a burger with like burner jets off the side if you look,
if you look up Notorious Aliens, n I swear those. Yeah,
well I I was art director on that. So it was Yeah, it
was a great project. It was It was awesome. It was really fun
and creative. And yes, to answer your question, was really hard to
to draw those because how do you how do you turn a burger into a
spaceship. Yeah, it was all junk food. So everything that we had
was all junk foods, was ice cream and pizza and all this but it
was a they all. Part of the story was that it was this this
big bad overlord was trying to make everybody eat healthy, and so they were
rebelling and with their like hamburgers. It was a Saturday Morning cartoons. Yeah,
yeah, wow, what's your what's your what's your favorite? Sort of
like Saturday morning cartoon that you like, were able to watch with your kids
that you were you able to do that? Yes, and no, as
long as I wasn't in it, they were okay with it, you know,
I mean honestly, that was like it goes back to the cool day.
Yeah, yeah, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay,
are you bugs bunny? No? Okay, well then watch it. They
couldn't watch anything because you were in everything. Yeah, well, just couldn't
inescapable, Yeah, a little bit, but yeah, they managed to escape
so far. So good bye, Daddy, can't miss if you don't go
away. That's the old joke, the Pete line, which is very good.
It was so cool. By the way, gentlemen, Sorry, I'm
gonna have to leave because I've got daddy judies. My wife has an appointment,
so I've got a duck out. I'm sorry, Jimmy, I haven't
got that, can't wait to get down to. So I got married not
long when was September, not long ago, I remember, And and Jim
came down and was was there as a guest, and so, uh,
Peggy comes over. She said, would you mind it, Jim saying a
little something, you know, absolutely, And so Casey, who was our
our band leader at the time, he uh, he kind of pulled something
up and Jim started singing, uh, Mabel Evangeline, but it was Mabel,
miss Charlattine and it was putting putting Charlotte's name in there, which was
really special. And I mean that was again, uh, I think Persist
of the Frog is such a brilliant, special, special film and nothing to
do with me in it. But yeah, well no, no, I
mean I really liked it. It really was was beautiful. So I mean
that made that certainly made me tear up. It was. It was pretty
neat. It was a yeah, it was. It was that effect.
Unfortunately that was always a good cry. It's oh he's gonna do it again.
It was. It was one of the it was the greatest gift that
we had gotten, was was getting here that it was pretty special. It
was it was really it was really neat in that film. Again, I
know there's I Love Splash Mountain, but uh, I know they're switching it
over. But the music to that that film is just I think it's so
gorgeous. Did you get to like meet Randy and oh, yeah, yeah
a lot is he was he as cool as he seems? Yeah, he
really is. Yeah, I've met him several times, I say, especially
of course. Yeah it's in the blood right, Yeah, I guess I
don't know, but but yeah, I've got some great, great, great
stories about him, you know. And uh and he wasn't there when we
did my Belle Evangeline. Uh but because I had a couple of songs there,
but he wasn't there. And uh, John and Ron Ron Musker,
John mus Musker and Clements. Yeah, they they were unable to get to
the session as well. So I was kind of like me, Yeah,
flying solo and it was really interesting because uh, I just did it kind
of dry, and it was like a singer's nightmare, you know, not
enough accompaniment, not enough, but it worked out and it laid down beautifully
over the track. And uh then I remember subsequent to that, we're meeting
about another thing, and and John are there and Randy's there and he go,
oh god, that this is so good. Everybody's here, you know.
You know, Randy, we were thinking of, you know, when
when you were unable we were unable to go to Jim sing this song.
Maybe we could go back. And he goes, no, what no,
what do you mean no? And it's like no, no, no no,
and he goes, are you going to change it at all? He
goes, not much, no, you know, not really just a little.
But you then, why do we want to go back? And he
grilled and grilled and would not get off of it. He goes, as
long as you could promise me that he's not going to have to sing another
lick of it, and you're never going to replace one thing that's in it,
and he and I and I went, yeah, that's my boy right
here, Randy. No, I love you know. So that was that
was like really a cool thing. I don't tell that one much but no
it's too late, but that's really special. Yeah, it was really cool.
Yeah, he's a great guy. He's a heck of a cheerleader.
Yeah, yeah, I saw him a D twenty three A few years after
Day comes up and throws his arm around me, and I said, oh
man, this is he's really new and my friend. Yeah, of course,
you know, I like you. You know, not everybody get gets
me fanboyed, but you know that did it. Well. I still it
probably still happens with you. When someone has made that sort of contribution to
your your life and your sort of entertainment history, you still kind of get
fanboy I do for sure. Sure. Richard Sherman absolutely, I mean yeah,
the Sherman Brothers we were at we were at the premiere of Christopher Robin,
which if you guys haven't seen it, you must see Christopher Robin.
It is It's a great, precious film and uh Jim, it's definitely toured
a force. I mean he was incredible in it. But we were there
at the at the premiere together and it was weird because it's like Ewan McGregor
is there and Richard many Yeah, it was just it was so strange being
in that sort of rarefied atmosphere. What am I I want to I shouldn't
be here. What am I doing here? Yeah? Yeah? And it's
just even talking walking among it's like yourself is a tremendous privilege. So see
Christopher Robin. It's it's a beautiful film. Yeah, do that. By
the DVD too, yes, by physical media yeah, by physical media,
yes, especially if it's if it's art, yes, going by go and
buy art. Yes. And we'll make sure that the schedule is down because
I know that Jim and I'll be appearing at some fun stuff together. We're
gonna have to do like a co signing. I'm gonna like we were going
back and forth so much like I was bringing people over. So we're gonna
have to do like a joint signing at some point, I think, because
I have a lot of hubers Uf I've drawn, and a lot of Tigger
stuff I've drawn now a dark all that fun stuff. I like to keep
you busy. Yeah, thank you, thank you very much. What would
you say is your most recognizable piece of art? Probably, uh, well,
Stitch. I mean I've I've drawn Stitch a lot. So of course
we got the Stitch uh Stitch comic cover and a lot of merchandise and stuff
like that. But there's a piece called Tiki Trouble that was hanging at the
Polynesian down at Disney World, and it's stitched with these two, these two
big totems, and then it was early on for frozen development stuff I did,
there was a it was so funny. There was this ole off that
I had that I had done and then it ended up becoming a you know,
fine art and it was published and they were trying out this new program
to sell these like cool lenticular pieces, framed lenticular pieces, which is a
three D holographic piece. So they took a piece of flat art that I
had done traditionally it was just crylic scanned it in turned it into this cool
three D holographic art piece and they sold them like Target, Walmart, everything.
So that was a weird thing because uh it was it was it was
unexpected. It was like one of those things where I saw the check and
I'm like, what's this from what I don't think this is? Like,
oh no, that's this deal we did with Target and Walmart, and uh,
they didn't do that program again. I think they sort of restructured things
that'll happen. It'll happen at times, but I would say that, yeah,
some of my my stitch stuff hole off and sister there was a sisters
of Aarondel piece that I did, and and uh hopefully now uh Lork,
you're gonna start seeing some fun Larkana stuff. Lorcana has been like such a
global sensation. So there's this, I'll send it to you. There's a
Winnie the Pooh Wizard of Pooh Bear with like this. He's like a wizard,
but there's honey swirling around him. Yes, and you only signed the
car, so you know it. There's there's some great Pooh Bear stuff and
there's a great couple of great tear pieces in there that's wonderful. So I
think you'll be signing more of those. Yes, as we see them,
please see them floating around, keep them coming. Yeah, I've got have
magic marker. We'll travel. I know sometimes I have to borrow some of
his because mine run out. Because you're too busy, which is a beautiful
thing. Where should we be touting something for you for the future, gosh,
yeah, appearances, Well I will be. I don't know when this
is airing exactly, but let's say that eminently. We've got MCM London.
Of course, later in the year, I'm for sure doing New York.
I will be a D twenty three. I can't quite discuss the capacity of
what I will be doing there, but I will be around for d twenty
three and then I've got uh yeah, I've got her new hercules coming out,
and uh, I've got well just take a look at my Instagram because
we do a lot of stuff for charity as well. So oh wait,
recently, I I had a friend, uh actually the guy who was the
he headed up the band at my wedding that you sang with, and you
were kind enough to to do a little, uh a little voiceover for him.
But it was this crazy freaky thing. He's a young guy, had
uh he went back in for some uh just a check up on some cancer
treatment that he'd gone through when he was doing okay. It was on a
Thursday, and I think like a Tuesday. They told me he was getting
a full tracheotomy. So it was like, hey, we know you're a
performer for a living, but you'll never speak or sing again. So but
he's doing really well, and Jim was was wonderful enough to to send him
a very kind little message and uh it him up and he's doing great.
But we we've been doing things like that, just trying to help raise some
funds for some amazing folks. So I try to keep things active on there.
So if you guys follow me on Instagram and and TikTok. I think
TikTok is Mulligan Dot Jimmy. But I do a lot of process videos and
stuff too, and then some fun little travel snippets from where we're where we're
going. It's you can, because we can, because you can. Try
not to do too much food porn, but occasionally we'll post some food,
some foody stuff that's good stuff, not the food part, not the porn.
