Speaker 1: Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King. I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your favorite shows from the Real Housewives in Atlanta, New Jersey and my own creation, The Love and Marriage Franchise and Bell Collective. Every episode, we recap reality television from the Real Housewives Franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset, in addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or scripted as well. Dusting Randa, you bitch that will never ever get on.

00:00:53
Speaker 2: What's happening those how's it going? Dustin better than them? Damn traders? I tell you that they didn't busted up this week. Okay, there's a rift in the traders in the in the turret this week.

00:01:07
Speaker 1: Right, there's a trader with the traders.

00:01:10
Speaker 2: I'm trying to tell you, baby, it's then trade. You're talking about the trade, That's what.

00:01:21
Speaker 1: Sorry, Charlae Mane. We don't talk about your type of trade. No love that different something Okay, look.

00:01:28
Speaker 3: A little different, some a little different. You know what I'm saying, speaking.

00:01:34
Speaker 1: Of tracking a funny trade story for you.

00:01:36
Speaker 3: Okay, when I.

00:01:37
Speaker 1: First moved to New York, I'm like twenty two.

00:01:41
Speaker 3: Mm hmm. I live in Harlem, mm hmmm.

00:01:45
Speaker 1: And you know bray drops back in New York. Well it's still remains today. However, in the early two thousands, you know, you've definitely got home at six a m.

00:01:58
Speaker 3: And that's on the Tuesday, exactly.

00:02:02
Speaker 1: That's a good old day. It was during the week. So funny story.

00:02:09
Speaker 4: I'm walking up to my building and this guy was walked by me and I thought nothing of it, and I'm like trying to put the key in.

00:02:21
Speaker 1: He was like, yo, and I said, because I'm new to New York and new to his lifestyle. So I'm like and he was like, what you about to do? And I said, what is it? Are you soliciting something? So I thought he wanted money, baby, he wanted something else. Yeah exactly. But Dustin, I was so new to this, I don't know he was trade. I was a straight black man wanting something else, baby, and he wanted that thing. And I look, I unfortunately declined.

00:03:00
Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, you folded.

00:03:02
Speaker 1: Okay, well I wanted to be folded. But look, little bit top story for you guys, as Dustin and I love if we have a little break. The ice conversation yeah, so you know, that's my trade story, but many more to Comraine jobs. As we do these traders recap. Dust of this episode was insane. It was all over the place and the best way possible. But first thing first, we have to always start our trader's recap with the fashions of Candice Diller basket.

00:03:48
Speaker 2: Come on, man, come on, what an effective usage of the beret, right, What an effective usage of the beret?

00:03:58
Speaker 3: Right?

00:03:59
Speaker 2: Candice has been wearing the berets the hell out in that castle and I love it. I love the two piece she had on that was Chanelle inspired with the black with the gold trim. She looks so good and it's such a perfectly chosen wardrobe for that castle out in Scotland.

00:04:17
Speaker 3: It's perfect. Perfect.

00:04:19
Speaker 2: Candace is literally playing a perfect game on this show.

00:04:24
Speaker 1: She's playing a perfect game. And listen, she's playing the game of fashion because the Chanelle inspired tweed blaker matching skirt she had on type she has the best berets. She Candace has taken over this show and the best way possible. So I wanted to make sure we shout out her outfit. Yes once again, all that breakfast and what we left off of the last episode was the fact that nobody, well we were trying to figure out if anybody has taken a shield or if a murder was going to happen that night. What we did learn is that nobody decided to take a shield and that everybody is alive this round, which to me was sort of like, okay, love of that happened. However, Colton still has a bone in this fight when it comes to Lisa Rena and at breakfast he tells Derinda that he wants her to pay attention to the Rena today, and Derenda looks like she is definitely on his side. Do you foresee dustin a possibility of Derinda turning against Lisa Rena.

00:05:51
Speaker 2: Yes, I do, but it's not going to be because of Colton's influence. I don't think I think that Derinda will be okay with turning on Lisa Renna because Lisa Rena will be okay with turning on Derinda.

00:06:06
Speaker 3: And I think Derinda.

00:06:07
Speaker 2: Knows that, and so that's why she's willing to even entertain conversations from colt In or anyone else regarding Lisa, because we all know, just like they know that the Housewives roll together, that's a pack and so to even introduce the idea of interrupting that and have it be received, I think that that is rooted in Lisarenna's history, and then Derinda on that list Arena ain't shit, basically, that's the best way I can put it, you know what I mean, And that's why I hate to jump ahead. But that's why something else happens later on in the show that people will want Rob.

00:06:44
Speaker 3: To feel bad about doing.

00:06:46
Speaker 2: The only reason I don't think he should feel bad is because Lisa Renna would have done it to him, and I think that there's a little bit of that in here too as well in this situation. So, yeah, Derinda will turn on her, but it's not because Derenda is a flip flopper or a person who can't be trusted. It's because of how Lisa Renna's ass is. People don't trust her because because they know that her, they ne're her potential when it comes to harm.

00:07:09
Speaker 1: So yeah, yeah, No, what's crazy for me is the fact that when it comes to Lisa Renna, what they clocked last week was the fact that she does overexaggerate and that there is something about her when it comes to Coltin thinking like she could be the trader. And that's why, even as the episode is forming, you see Coltin seeing Lisa and Candace together and he makes the comment that, you know, all the housewives are sticking together. How convenient.

00:07:49
Speaker 3: And that's why I was glad our girl Candace hit him with.

00:07:51
Speaker 2: The when he said it, the way she looked. I was so glad because Colton is really you know, as the old folks who say Carlos Colton is really smelling himself in his house saying he is. He's really smelling himself, you know what I'm saying, thinking his shit, don't stink, that's what he's doing. And I was surprised that he was so brazen and bold to say some shit like that, because that kind of shit is that'll pitch somebody off, you know what I'm saying. Somebody who's not a housewife talking shit like that, that'll pitch somebody off.

00:08:21
Speaker 3: So I thought it was.

00:08:23
Speaker 2: I just was like, damn, okay, Colting, you really want to establish yourself as someone who is willing to get in the paint here. I was like, that's what you're trying to do, Okay, got it?

00:08:35
Speaker 1: What are your thoughts on Culton because on Twitter and I'm sure seen on social media people hate him. Right now, what's interesting to me is this, I still look at this like everybody's playing a game and at the end of the day, on some real shit, you shouldn't be loyal to anybody but the game, right, I mean that that's the nature of the game. I felt like in mea Dustin on the show together, I will always have Dustin's back, but there is going to come to a point where and by the way, he would have my back, but it's going to come to a point where unfortunately me and Dustin are going to have a turn on each other. But I think we would respect that it would get till the end.

00:09:17
Speaker 2: That's the thing. There's a line there. You go to the line and you understand that. But but I think that there's an advantage to to camaraderie in a game like this, or to alliances in a game like this.

00:09:32
Speaker 3: There's a value there.

00:09:34
Speaker 2: So that would that would implore me even more so, even more beyond my natural, you know, inclination to do so. But I think there would that would employ me even more for us to stick together in an environment like that, Right, we got each other's back, and we know we're not gonna turn on each other until we absolutely have to per the rules of the game, Like, come on, you can really do something.

00:09:55
Speaker 3: You see what terror the piskey and Johnny ass is doing.

00:10:00
Speaker 1: No one okay, maybe listen. I know I'm a man of a particular age, Dustin. I feel like no one And when I say no one, I mean the audience. No one really understands that Tara Lipinski and Johnny wear are like best friends, like not some Hollywood shit needing and Kim, you know what I'm saying, Like they are best friends and no one in that house has clocked it, and they do an amazing job at keeping themselves separate. And my concern for my girl, Candace is this. I feel like Candace is not allowing herself to form other type botanists outside of Lisa. Because one thing Rob is doing and we'll get to robbing a second baby, but one thing Rob is doing that he is doing right, He at least is forming relationships with the other players. I feel like Candace has not done that deeply. And the ones she did have with Monet, they killed him.

00:11:06
Speaker 3: They definitely killed him. I don't.

00:11:10
Speaker 2: You know, it's funny because ultimately, this is a game where you have to be focused on yourself in order to win, right, And so there's an element of Candace's gameplay in the fact that she's not building those bonds and relationships but still able to exist in a way that is non threatening and in a way that is inclusive of other people's opinions and shit that I love. I love that she's walking the line, literally walking that on the line between creating distance but also building relationships, right, Like how she's using Terror's her hair curlers, you know what I'm saying, some of the conversations that she's having, the way that she was friendly with Tiffany before Tiffany's unfortunate departure, things like that. So there's something very, very astute about the way that Candas is navigating this game. And I fucking love it. Man, Candis is really really, really entertaining me on this show, really entertaining me on this show. I feel like this is the kind of shit she was born to do. This is Candace thriving fully in her element. That's what I think.

00:12:21
Speaker 1: Do you want her back on Housewives? A potomac?

00:12:23
Speaker 2: I used to but After seeing her do this, I think there's so much more for Candace, right, Like, I think Candace could see success in I don't know if she's interested in hosting, but like, I think that her personality traits and her and her quirks, when harnessed properly, I think can be really, really, really impactful in other areas of entertainment, specifically in TV. So I think this is the direction I like her bore on this. Yeah, she's happier, you know what I mean, and more It's just a more positive feeling. You're no, I don't like all that drama shit. I'm gonna play I keep it. So I like her. I like her in this environment. So yeah.

00:13:09
Speaker 1: So they're on their way to do the first challenge of the day and in the car, cole ten once again has a heart on police Arena, which to me shows that, okay, he at least is on the money when it comes to discovering the Trader. Because this is my first time watching it, a lot of people online, I love to get your thoughts. They're saying one of the reasons why this is the best season is because the Faithfuls have no idea who the Traders are. That they haven't clocked it, because I'm assuming Dustin that by episode six they would have least caught a Trader and not the secret one, which was Donna.

00:13:54
Speaker 2: This season, yeah, this is a unique season in the fact that the Traders are really an easy time. They're on Easy Street basically faithful after faith, with the exception of Donna, which, for the sake of conversation, her ass might as well have been a faithful because they didn't know she was a damn trader. So essentially, the Traders are on Easy Street just annihilating, you know, the faithfuls one by one, and that is not typical. Typically, there would have been some sort of hint or some sort of trail that someone will be on by this point, you know, that would be accurate. And we're starting to see a little bit of that, like Colton's accusations of Lisa renal or that they were irritating for us. They were right, He's on something because Lisa is a damn trader, you know what I'm saying. Hi, So we're starting to see a little bit of that, but it is coming a little bit later in the season than normal.

00:14:47
Speaker 1: Okay, In the car, he brings up Lisa Renna once again to the people in the car. One of them is Rob, and he says, I'm on to Lisa. I feel like she's a trader. He also said before that car ride that he's going to ask people what they think of Lisa Rena and anybody who tries to defend her or take up for her. He believes they're traders. Rob is in the car. He asked Rob point blank, Rob, what do you think? And Rob was like, it's plausible. In that moment, this could be an unpopular opinion. I don't give a shit. I feel like Rob is playing the game. How I would I love all the girls dust it as you.

00:15:37
Speaker 3: Yeah.

00:15:37
Speaker 1: Yeah, So although my girls may be a trade along with me, I would do the exact same thing in the sense of, if I go too hard for these girls, it may shed a spotlight on me, and I'm trying to at the end of the day when his motherfucker.

00:15:54
Speaker 2: In the end, Yeah, I mean there is that there's a point that comes when you're playing the Traders, specifically where you have to make those sort of moral decisions, moral decisions, or you arrive at the intersection of your moral compass and strategic gameplay, right, what are you going to do? So a lot of times people struggle with that in this game, and that's where the emotional component.

00:16:19
Speaker 3: Comes in, right.

00:16:20
Speaker 2: And we have seen this with people like last season when Bob the Drag Queen was on there. Bob's gameplay was one that did not recognize emotion, right. Bob was focused on doing things a certain way. So we've seen different styles, yes and no, no, you know what I mean. No, But but it can work if you are laser focused on strategy, you know what I mean. The problem is that there is a human example of this. It is like what happened with Porsche. We felt bad that Porsche left. A better example is what happened with Tiffany, which shout out to Tiffany, But Tiffany, we were pissed off, we were upset that she left. We felt like it was unfair. And so once those sort of feelings and emotions begin to be entered into the conversation, what are you gonna do? Are you gonna use that as what you make your decisions with as you play the game, or are you going.

00:17:16
Speaker 3: To stay focused on strategy? It's the question you have to ask yourself. So I don't know.

00:17:22
Speaker 2: I think it's easier to be heart centered like that as a faithful. If you're a traitor, I think that you have an obligation, you know what I'm saying, to stay focused on moving this game along, so it's easier to play Hearts with a heart focus as a faithful.

00:17:38
Speaker 3: I think.

00:17:41
Speaker 1: This is reality with the King, and I'm Carlos King. Let's get back into the show. So they're only way there. They played this game. They're in like this haunted house there they have to do this sort of like mystery game of figuring out the names that matches the graveyard side. No one everybody really wins except Tara and Candace. Then on the way back to the house, they know that it's time. It's time for the round table. And in this moment we also learn again that Rob is having second thoughts about voting for Ron, which is something that Candace is, you know, consistent with Derenda is again trying to figure things out. The rest of the cast is. But to me, this was the episode that tested Rob's loyalty to the Traders because the one thing I did not get with him, and I get that gaming of the strategy, I did not understand why his heart felt bad for Ron. I think the darn thing at all Cultent If that's your homeboy, fine, the urn thing did not make sense to me.

00:18:58
Speaker 2: Well, it didn't make sense to me because he's a trader first. But Rob was playing in that moment as his trader. His duties and his obligations as a trader was not his focus for some reason, and that sparks a lot of conversation, right like, why was he so you know, inclined to just have this blind loyalty to Colts and why was that his focus? Saying you know, hey, I am close with Colton and he's saying this, and so if I don't, you know, go with what he says, and it's gonna alert people to what I'm doing, which wasn't true. So it just begs the question of why. And we know that eventually, at some point, you know, there has to be an elimination of some sorts, right, So he's playing that way, and he introduced the dissension between amongst the traders Colton or excuse me, Rob introduced that because now it's on Now they were operating together as a unit up until this point. Now it's on you know, he's pissed everybody off. We see Lisa Arena, you know, used the Stacey Rush finger on him. You know what I'm saying, when she came in that kitchen and walked past. You know what I'm saying, We saw that. So I don't know, man, it's just unfortunately, it's starting to get not unfortunately because it's making for great television, but it's starting to get tricky right now, it's starting to get tricky.

00:20:16
Speaker 1: No, that round table, let me take something. That round table felt like an all cast international trip scene on the Real Housewives, where you know, a dinner scene on an international trip. It's gonna give you some sort of drama. I did not know what was going to happen, because again we're all thinking, like, okay, the smart thing to do, based on the faithfuls trying to exit out. Ron was like, okay, everybody votes from Ron until coletin. I'm gonna go back a little bit before the round table. Coltin takes least some Runna Aside has a one on mom with her, Yes he did, says to her, Dustin Ross, listen, let's band together pretty much. I know you're trader, and I'm not going to vote for you. Let's try to get till the end, and I promise I won't vote you off. Don't vote me off. Whatever. Once again, I don't watching Lisa Renner for thirty six years as she this episode, since she played Billy on the Days of My Lives.

00:21:28
Speaker 3: Talk about it.

00:21:30
Speaker 1: When Lisa fucking Renna said, I'm not a trader. I'm not a trader. I'm not a trader. I'm like, you are the worst actress.

00:21:38
Speaker 2: The word at Carlos. I promise you. I should show you in my notes. It literally says Lisa renn it can't act. That's the first sings in my notes. When Colton took her in that billiards room and sit and she said.

00:21:50
Speaker 3: What are you talking about? What are you talking about? I'm not a trader. I am a faithful. I'm a faithful like that. It was just so fake.

00:21:57
Speaker 2: And second of all, when her and Colton was sitting in that billiards room having that conversation, I looked at my TV and busted out laughing because they look literally exactly like those pictures, you know them, caricature pictures they draw in an amusement park. When you sit down, are like on the strip in Vegas where the people draw you or whatever you have that you.

00:22:17
Speaker 3: Know, the big head in a little body.

00:22:19
Speaker 2: All right, see the point, shout out to see the point, Carlos. We need to get us some outfits and go to see the point. Okay. But anyway, that's what they look like to me, Lisa, Rena and Colton when they was talking to each other in that scene, in that frame, it looked just like those caricature pictures because they both had them.

00:22:38
Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, They look just like that to me. But that was that was ridiculous.

00:22:42
Speaker 2: I'm like, Lisa, come on, she been doing that shit the whole time, just being just just just just careless and sloppy, not even trying to have a poker face. You know what I'm saying, What are you doing? I'm a faithful I'm a faithful. No, you're not shut up because you're not and you're not fooling nobody.

00:23:01
Speaker 3: That's why Colting is on to you.

00:23:04
Speaker 1: But the thing with me, does it is I I'm I'm gonna loss for words because the acting was so bad and it's crazy because she is an actress and I don't understand the disconnect because to me, on some real ship, I thought Lisa was doing an SML skit the way she kept saying, like you said, I'm a faithful, I'm a faithful I would have.

00:23:31
Speaker 2: Very tooby right or tooty. She wished she was toutty. Kim was throwing down as totty as a child out of the mother's babes. She was throwing down Lisa, Rinna need to go to some classes because that suck. Well, Marlow saying, see character, Okay, that's that's that's how she was acting.

00:23:56
Speaker 1: So to be we would like for Youth to cast Lisa and the next movies alongside Claudia Jordan, because I to me, that was the moment I said, bitch, the jig is up.

00:24:09
Speaker 2: It's up up, and you look like jig saw with all that ship in your cheeks. Lisa got to chill out or whatever she been doing, whoever she been going to to to.

00:24:19
Speaker 3: Pump pump pump, pump her up.

00:24:21
Speaker 2: Whoever she been going to to do that, man, she got to stop because at this point all of that, she looked like them when them down heads fell on the floor in that cabin. I was like Lisa because the cheeks and shipping them down heads just like Lisa Rana. Man, she got to stop. She got to stop. Man, it's time she's reached that line. You know, ain't nothing wrong with a little tweak, nip tuck whatever, but you get to a line. You know what I'm saying that Lisa is at that line for real?

00:24:49
Speaker 3: I can't she.

00:24:51
Speaker 1: Is, Man, Okay, at the table.

00:24:56
Speaker 2: V for Vendetta. What was that mask that Nigga had on a VA? That's what Lisa Renna looked like. Man and them drama mass went half. He went, should That's what that's whatsa looked like? Yes, come on baby.

00:25:15
Speaker 1: All four okay, we are we are, we are in this. When they were at the round table again, they're trying to figure out who to vote off. Ron is pretty much the most outspoken person there. What did you think of his play of volunteering himself to be murdered or sit home rather because he wanted to show them I am going to does vote me off. I'm going to show you guys I wasn't faithful and hopefully you guys will figure out what to do next, because you guys are going in the wrong direction. I felt in that moment that Ron was done with the show. He missed his family and he wanted to go home to me. He checked out.

00:26:06
Speaker 2: I didn't get that that's what he wanted us to think, and I actually thought it was a brilliant strategy for him to start saying his goodbyes before the vote was actually taken, because it literally almost worked. It almost saved him, and I almost believed him. But he literally had almost He had about a ninety eight percent effectiveness with his persuasion of me during that moment until Tara Lipinski did what he wanted someone to do, which was the point of him having that moment where he started going around giving the heartfelt goodbye to each person. He knew that one of them was going to be like, hey, y'all, we just can't do that. He made a play on the moral integrity of everybody at that table when Tara did it, and she spoke up and said, you guys, what are we going to do here?

00:26:55
Speaker 3: I'm just going to say it, and I can't think that.

00:26:58
Speaker 2: I can't see myself voting for him, and he says it in the middle of it, then don't do it. And when he said it so fast like that I was like a crack. I was like, you just told on yourself. He lost his cool a little bit. He broke character just a little bit when she said that, and I was like, oh see, nigga, you playing This is a whole This is a scheme.

00:27:17
Speaker 3: Okay, got it.

00:27:19
Speaker 2: Now, I'm not mad at it because that's literally what you're supposed to do in that situation, right, It's come up with something to help save yourself. And I think it was a brilliant strategy for him to say those goodbyes before they even took the vote, because it worked, you know what I'm saying. He ended up getting multiple people to vote for someone other than himself, so it almost worked.

00:27:42
Speaker 3: It worked, so damn it worked, So damn good.

00:27:48
Speaker 1: Rob.

00:27:48
Speaker 2: I'll get him all confused, but Rob voted for Lisa. That's how effective, you know what I'm saying. This shit was, think about it, loose. That was brilliant. I know that I have said some descriptive things about Ron right, but he got down in that ballroom when they got to that round boyroom, like this is the apprentice.

00:28:11
Speaker 3: When they got to.

00:28:12
Speaker 2: That round table, he got busy, he did. I gotta give credit where it's due. Your job is to persuade everybody in this motherfucker to do some other than vote for you.

00:28:22
Speaker 1: He did it, Yeah, really changing my mind. I didn't you know what you're right about that. I missed the part where he did tell taror thank you when she was defending him. Because the way he started off giving everyone compliments and going around the table doing so, I was like, Oh, I feel bad for the guy. He wants to go home. But to your point, that's what's so perfect about this show because it is a mind fuck. It's all mind strategy, and that was his way of trying to divert the vote from being him, And like you said, it did work because even what's the girl the dark hair?

00:29:04
Speaker 3: Uh? Natalie?

00:29:05
Speaker 1: Yes, even Natalie was sort of like what do we do here? Like I don't I don't know what to do? And it made people question their decision going into it because even when the round table started off, that awkward silence was deafening.

00:29:22
Speaker 3: It was loud, right, the science was really loud.

00:29:25
Speaker 2: It was so loud that we almost overlooked that jumpsuit that Natalie had on. Did you see that black and silver? I said, what's she going to? The She going to the Renaissance show.

00:29:34
Speaker 3: She's going to you need? Is she going to see see fun as well? That's what I thought, That's what I thought she did.

00:29:45
Speaker 2: She was doing that black and silver with that trim all up under the buttox and ship.

00:29:49
Speaker 3: Well, I was like, said she going to bellow no Chase? Where the hell is she going?

00:29:56
Speaker 2: Okay, if you can't go to the to the round table, where the hell can you? Okay, Natalie, she said, damn it, I missed myself. I got to feel like myself today at this at this round table.

00:30:15
Speaker 1: Maybe she gave you black girmagic, although she did, but I thought I was the only one that noticed the silver lining. Literally, yes, jumpsuit, Yes, stop her giving you cozy sere.

00:30:29
Speaker 3: She was boutique. She didn't been too you know what I'm saying. She got that.

00:30:32
Speaker 2: She got that ship at a boutique loose you know what I'm saying. I said, gone, Natalie, Okay, what did run till her? Natalie, I think you're in one hundred percent? He said you are, and that she was too. I was like, hell, yeah, she is in that jumpsuit. You know what I'm saying. She's showing up as herself. Yeah, and while we're on the round table fashions, Derenda ain't no better. Either's sitting up there looking like a ransom note with them You've seen them letters all over the front of her. I said, what kidnapper made this goddamn sweater? Dorenda ass got on today looking like the Soul Trained scramble board. And I want to stand in front of her and be like, I'm Dustin, I live in New York City. Please please, different fonts and letters and ship, I said, who pieced that together?

00:31:29
Speaker 3: Ransom note? Ass sweatshirt she got on? But I love Derenda. I love Derenda.

00:31:36
Speaker 1: I hope all you guys are gim what is it? What's what? Are we millennials or jim something?

00:31:43
Speaker 3: I don't know, you know, we just happy to be here. We're just happy to be here.

00:31:48
Speaker 1: Tell me Ray drops in the comments, you are aware of the of the Soul Tray scrabble board. I had to take off my cape. That is the I'm going for over ten years. The Soul Trays scramble Board, to me, is the funniest ship you have ever said. That is fucking come up with this ship? That is.

00:32:23
Speaker 3: That's what she looked like man, damn Derinda.

00:32:30
Speaker 2: Okay between her and Natalie Man, I was distracted at that round table.

00:32:35
Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, okay, let me come stuth together, baby, I thought.

00:32:41
Speaker 2: Okay, I like your interesting. That's an original interpretation of the way to wear it though.

00:32:45
Speaker 3: I like that.

00:32:45
Speaker 2: Yeah, when it's like okay, mm hmm.

00:32:52
Speaker 1: So Ron strategy, like you said, worked, Dustin. As I'm watching the vote, shout up to the producers, the production, the editors in terms of the way the way they designed because rain jobs. I hope you guys know this. Just because you see things in sequence on the show doesn't mean that happened in real life, because listen, I don't think. I don't think Rob's vote was the second of the last. You know what you have to do, right, Dustin. But what you have to do is make sure to get all the votes out so that you're you're at the audience, you're like, oh shit, one more vote, this person's out. Dust it. When it was Rob's turned to vote, no bullshit, son, I literally because I watched TV with close caption m hm hm, the.

00:33:47
Speaker 3: Old school like that Grandma O d's it no.

00:33:53
Speaker 1: Bullshit Because sometimes of close caption comes on before they talk, Yes, yep, dust it. I'm like, dust I'm like this the whole is this motherfucker about to vote of Lisa Renna? When he said Lisa Renna Dustin Ross, I hollered and screamed. And to see Candice black girl face.

00:34:15
Speaker 2: Mm hm, that non verbal communication was strong, wasn't it? Carlos wrong? We know what that meant? I felt a cringe And I'm not even jet her baby. She was like she was looking at him like he was jet you know what I'm saying. That's how I felt it. I was like, Damn, somebody didne fucked up? That's what I thought. Man, When you see that, look you know it's time, okay, somebody about to get the belt.

00:34:43
Speaker 1: It was what was your reaction when you saw that happened that Rob voted for his fellow trader Lisa to be sent home.

00:34:56
Speaker 3: I knew it was coming. I never thought that.

00:34:58
Speaker 2: I thought that out of the two traders, I knew that Lisa, A Renna and Candace had the most likelihood likely they had the highest likelihood of sticking together. Right then, I thought that if Rob went against one of the traders, would he go against Candis or would he go against Lisa. It made more sense for him to go against Lisa to me, because I think he has less respect for Lisa. I think based on their conversations in the turret and just the engagement, I can feel that he has more of a respect for Candace playing the game than he does Lisa Rena. And so I wasn't surprised that he went against her. I knew it was coming eventually, some infighting amongst the traders, and Lisa Rena is not a person that people feel able to build a real constrong connection with, you know what I mean. Whereas Candace, I think that he's more likely to bond with her. So I wasn't surprised he went against her. And honestly, like I was saying earlier when we first opened the discussion, I didn't feel no kind of way since we using old black colloquialisms this week, I didn't feel no waiste tired. And I saw when I saw a rob vote for Lisa Rena because she would do him dirty in a minute, in a New York minute, So I felt no pain nothing. I was like shit, oh will he had to do what he had to do.

00:36:22
Speaker 1: Do you feel like Candace needs to keep her good eye on Rob, not later down the line, but in terms of how to play the game starting today. Right, So we're gonna put ourselves back into episode six and she's at the roundtable, she sees a fellow trader vote for another trader. Do you think she also gets what you said so eloquently, which is okay? He is kind of right. He is close to Colton. If you voted for Lisa, I think Colton, who we see as a dog with the bone, could have possibly said it's Lisa and and Ron.

00:37:10
Speaker 2: Now does that mean that you are then supposed to betray the loyalty to your fellow traders.

00:37:16
Speaker 3: I don't. I can't answer that question.

00:37:18
Speaker 2: I think that's an individual decision that we all would have to make in that in that situation, I don't know. And if we were talking about anyone else, I would suggest that he remained loyal to his traders as far as he can. We're talking about Lisa Renna, and sometimes you got to know what you're dealing with, know who you what you're getting yourself into. And I think that she has the capacity to be harmful to others. Look how she did Portia. Look how she did Caroline Stanberry. You know what I'm saying, Like all of the things that she does, like I just wouldn't trust her.

00:37:54
Speaker 1: So how did you think about her performance at the round table? Because one thing that you schooled me on, but that's one of the best parts of the show, Like Phaedra was known as at the round table, she's a housewife. How did you feel Lisa Renna did when it came to defending herself as a faithful doing the round table?

00:38:18
Speaker 2: Piss poor? That's how I think she did. Shitty, that's how horrible. You know what I'm saying, That's how I think she did. It was a goddamn shame someone you you you popping your ship and stretching your neck out, saying you've been in this business for thirty six years and you least a fucking renta, which she looked like she was finna choke with. I'm a Lisa fuck That's what it looked like. She was finna do it. She said it. I was like, she all right, somebody need to take their fist and hit her chest, hit her stern on, Lisa, that's what she needed. But you know, she popped out that ship and then had these these this horrible performance at the round table, just like she was horrible and flail like a fish out of water. When Colton pulled her in there to talk in the billiards room, she was she literally was smiling.

00:39:07
Speaker 3: She couldn't she couldn't even like hide her smile. What are you talking about? What are you talking about? I'm a trader, I'm a faithful. I am a faithful. She was horrible, So that's what I think, awful, shameful.

00:39:19
Speaker 2: Give her a razzie. What's some she give her a razzie? Yes, give her one of those.

00:39:25
Speaker 3: That's what she needs to get.

00:39:27
Speaker 1: So horrible Ron gets sent home. They find out that he's actually a faithful. Listen. I think they also was like, we don't care at this point. We're just happy you're gone because you were a distraction. But with that being said, Lisa Brenna takes the opportunity to again defend herself amongst everybody. Tell Colton, like you said, I've been this business for thirty six years. She talks about how she's more than a housewife and everything else, and even in that moment, it's because you and I watched Billy Hills Housewives. I thought her time on Beverly Hills to me was great because she is a great housewife. But when it comes to this game, I expected more for Lisa Renner, and I have to say I'm extremely disappointed and her mischievousness, because I really thought on the Housewives of Belly Hills, she did a great job asking Derek where people going to cook in her bathroom, telling Kim Richel don't talk about the husbands, almost talking her like she You would have thought she would have been like one of the best players, and unfortunately, Lisa Renna is felling miserably at this game.

00:40:43
Speaker 2: She can't walking to gum, and that's one of the reasons why Candice is shining so brilliantly. Right, It's one thing to be disruptive. It's one thing to be a person who can create a pivot in conversation or mood when you're gathered around others, but to be able to do that while being focused on a game winning strategy and having to to you have to do that concurrently on the show. Like Traders, you can never stop focusing on your gameplay strategy and you also have to play a social game.

00:41:14
Speaker 3: Lisa Renna.

00:41:15
Speaker 2: You would assume that she would be able to do that because of the way she was able to navigate her socials or her social spaces on real households of Beverly Hills. But sometimes when the requirement is that plus a focus on strategy, you either got it or you don't. And it's looking like Lisa Rena don't have it.

00:41:34
Speaker 1: She really doesn't, she really doesn't, and it was it was sad to see her go out that way. And one of my favorite moments in this episode was when the when the Traders were all in the kitchen together mm hm, and Candace threw that fruit at the way she threw that salad at meat at her feet.

00:42:00
Speaker 2: Yes, she's been having me cracking up, especially her interview confessional scenes.

00:42:07
Speaker 3: What the fuck is rob doing?

00:42:09
Speaker 2: Cannis has been having me dying on this show, man, So I agree that her throwing that that candy for fruit or whatever that was, that was hilarious.

00:42:19
Speaker 3: Hilarious.

00:42:20
Speaker 1: Yes, so Cannas is good and Robin is trying to defend himself and then other people come in and I want to get your thoughts on culting strategy because as they're alltogether, he says that you guys should take me out tonight because I will use every single shield this day moving forward. Is that just the cockiness of him being what just stupid?

00:42:56
Speaker 2: That's what it is. That's quoting me and stupid. He has attached himself to this identity of being this, Uh, I'm gonna do it nobody else is gonna do as a face.

00:43:07
Speaker 3: I'm gonna charge it up front, you know.

00:43:10
Speaker 2: And he's caught up in that spirit and it is clouding his judgment and he's using that confusion as fuel.

00:43:18
Speaker 3: But it's just not a smart thing to do.

00:43:19
Speaker 2: That's why he looks dumb doing it every time with his eyebrows up in the air, like Cedric on Bill Collective every time he talks to like every single time. You know what I'm saying, That's that's what that is. That's why he looks stupid like And so that's that's my answer about when it comes to that. That's watch Bill Collective if you are if you like the Traders, watch Bell Collective. Baby find out about Cedric and doctor Marie.

00:43:57
Speaker 1: Drops on Earth.

00:43:58
Speaker 3: Yeah.

00:43:59
Speaker 1: Yeah. So one thing that I want to get with you before the episode ended was Rob made a lotus statement that stayed with me when he said that he actually wants to be a faithful.

00:44:15
Speaker 2: Mm hmm, young and dumb. I just thought, Rob, do we know his age?

00:44:22
Speaker 1: You know, I'll find out.

00:44:24
Speaker 2: We're gonna see Rob's age, because I just felt like that was reflective of him being young and dumb.

00:44:29
Speaker 3: Stay focused.

00:44:30
Speaker 2: Yeah, you're here to do You already been given the gift of being chosen as a trader at so you have no excuse.

00:44:37
Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.

00:44:39
Speaker 3: Twenty seven?

00:44:40
Speaker 2: Okay, see there you go, twenty seven access to celebrity and fame and a little bit of more money than he's probably ever seen in his life. And he's feeling he once again smelling himself that was something young and dumb. Why would you want to be a faithful on a show like Candicce once again shout out to Candis Like she said, the show was called The Traders. Okay, why would you you want to be a faithful on a show like this? A trader is a position. As a trader on The Traders is a starring role. So what the fuck do you mean you want to be a damn faithful? No, you don't. You're in a great position. People are paying attention to you. You are highlighted amongst the cast of people who already have a spotlight on them anyway. So they've advanced you forward by choosing you as a trader. Sit in there and be happy about it and be thankful, and just to excel and perform in your role. Why in the fuck would you want to I don't want to be the star. I want to go back to the band now, you know what I'm saying, Like I didn't get that. I thought that was, you know, just him being young and dumb, that's all.

00:45:41
Speaker 1: Yeah, and he sort of just feels like it's like this frat boy top of like camaraderie with the guys. And and that's why for me, I'm very curious to see what's going to happen be through him and Canvas because we're on the street. He jaz l and that although because I did check, Mom still follows Canvas. But ward on the street is that they do have a falling out and they're not speaking in the moment.

00:46:11
Speaker 2: Well, you know, Candis did say she was cussing somebody the fuck out at the reunion, and people assumed that it was going to be Porsche, but it's not. Yeah, people thought it was gonna be Porsche because Candace had unfollowed Porsche on Instagram during filming, but she had un followed her not during filming. I guess after it was announced that they're going to be on Traders, And she said on her podcast Undomesticated with My Boy, Michael Arsenal shot out to Michael, my boy, But she said on there that she then followed Porsche because she saw the comments that Porsche had made about joking about sleeping with Angela Oakley's husband, and she said that that was distasteful to her and that's why she followed her.

00:46:52
Speaker 3: So it's not.

00:46:53
Speaker 2: Porsche that she was talking about relative to the Traders. So we don't know who. Somebody gonna get it. We know that, but we don't know who. We don't know why yet. Yes, maybe it is him.

00:47:04
Speaker 1: I listen. It could be just based on how Rob is moving. But what ended the episode was the fact that there's like this necklace approach.

00:47:14
Speaker 3: I think it was right, Yeah, I think it was. I think it's a pian some shit. I don't know.

00:47:19
Speaker 1: Yeah, No, it's a fancy brooch that Lisa run is going to wear and that somebody has to get murdered in playing sight. So my last question for you, Dustin Ross, who do you predict in the next episode will get murdered in.

00:47:38
Speaker 3: Plain sight by Coltin? For sure? Yeah, if Colton or Eric, one of those two. That's what I think. Colting or Eric, yep.

00:47:48
Speaker 1: But do you think if it's Coulton it makes the the faith folds know that it's Lisa.

00:47:56
Speaker 2: To me, whether it does or doesn't, it's more evan take. Just to kill him, better off dead, you know what I'm saying.

00:48:03
Speaker 3: But he's better off dead? Okay. He used to be a.

00:48:07
Speaker 2: Song called better off Alone back in the day by Alice DJ.

00:48:10
Speaker 3: You remember, do you think you're a batter?

00:48:12
Speaker 1: Off alone?

00:48:14
Speaker 3: Better off dead? Coltin?

00:48:16
Speaker 2: Better be better off dead, So just kill him. I would be in that turret with my knife out. We're killing Colton, okay, and signed my initials in blood after we get there, because he have to go. Man, he's too He's causing too much trouble and as a trader, you don't need that in your mix. So Colton's asked. He would have been fired a long time ago if it was up to me.

00:48:39
Speaker 1: Yeah, if I'm a trader, the one to kill for sure, as Coulton. The one that I feel like they should be worried about.

00:48:49
Speaker 2: Johnny Who Johnny? I think Natalie Oh, Natalie. Yeah, she's a very strong player, very strong player, and she's a natural leader amongst his cast. When she speaks up, people listen, right, los So that would threaten me as a trader as well. She would have been on my list too, I'm sorry, and I love her on this show amaze as a trade tarder, Okay, she would be on my list, you know what I'm saying.

00:49:16
Speaker 3: Her?

00:49:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, Her and Johnny and Taror's ass, all of them would be the fuck up out of there behind me, you know what I'm saying if I was a trader.

00:49:24
Speaker 3: Sorry, I agree with you.

00:49:27
Speaker 1: I grew with you. So look, this was a very like I said, I had so many emotions watching this episode, the episode six. How many episodes did we get? Does ten? Or eight?

00:49:38
Speaker 2: I think ten? I think ten including the reunion, so it's like nine. I believe it in the reunion. I think ten episodes total, but I don't know. Give me the lion, y'all gonna send me home the way y'all sent portion home for saying four Traders. They're gonna send me home for saying the wrong number of episodes. Say good byes now, Carlos, I really appreciate shit you were. Thank you for the years of friendship, and my.

00:50:05

00:50:09
Speaker 3: Okay, that's right, that's right.

00:50:11
Speaker 1: Off the island. It's gonna be your height.

00:50:13
Speaker 2: Of veryfucking you know, los to the end. Goddamn all right.
