<v Speaker 1>Well, come on into the Non Tender podcast. <v Speaker 2>So good to have you. <v Speaker 1>Well here it is a foggy, silent hill which is <v Speaker 1>not on brand, but there's a nable being out but <v Speaker 1>a foggy evening here in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. Driving here, driving <v Speaker 1>to work, I couldn't see in front of the car. Well, <v Speaker 1>I wasn't that bad. It's cool to me, like it's spooky. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, it was bad for me because one of my <v Speaker 3>windshield wipers don't work. <v Speaker 2>Oh well that's that's a whole different. That's a whole different. Okay, good, good. <v Speaker 1>But I will say if I was at home right now, <v Speaker 1>sitting in my living room playing Resident Evil with the <v Speaker 1>fog outside, that would be czy. <v Speaker 2>But unfortunately I'm stuck here doing this. <v Speaker 1>Ever since the show has come back, I feel like <v Speaker 1>we're getting these big days after big days after big days. <v Speaker 1>There is so much fun stuff to talk about. Sorry, <v Speaker 1>I do feel like the show came back at a <v Speaker 1>great time. Did perfect time? You brought the luck with you? <v Speaker 1>I know I did. So Today we have a poker <v Speaker 1>Pia which we're going to go over. Kim and I <v Speaker 1>sat down last night. We made a date night out <v Speaker 1>of it, and we played the game together in my <v Speaker 1>basement for like four hours, and the whole time, well <v Speaker 1>you know what, I'm not going to say more than <v Speaker 1>that until we get there. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Then, and you actually just went and picked it up <v Speaker 1>and it looks sealed to me on the desk there. <v Speaker 1>So I don't think we're going to get too many <v Speaker 1>first reactions from you today. <v Speaker 2>No, no, not yet either from me. I. <v Speaker 3>I downloaded the key the game, but I didn't actually <v Speaker 3>get a chance to play. <v Speaker 1>Well, to be fair, it technically came out today, so <v Speaker 1>I don't blame you. <v Speaker 2>Guys. <v Speaker 1>I have an Australian shop and I made one for <v Speaker 1>kim Switch, so you play early so I could just play. <v Speaker 3>We played it early? Is that how everybody was playing <v Speaker 3>it early? Because that's how most people get it? So <v Speaker 3>how does that work? You make a separate shop account essentially, <v Speaker 3>you just make it. Say, it's really easy to do. <v Speaker 3>You just switched the region. <v Speaker 1>No, No, you just make a separate shop account and <v Speaker 1>when you're setting it up, you just say what country <v Speaker 1>you're in it. <v Speaker 4>You can pick any country you want, it doesn't matter. <v Speaker 4>That would be like a separate profile on your switch. <v Speaker 1>And then you you link it back to a profile <v Speaker 1>that you make on your switch. So I have a US, Australian, Mexican, Japanese. <v Speaker 4>And Exzealand have a Mexican because different different stuff. That's true, <v Speaker 4>and every now and then I just like one Nintendo <v Speaker 4>Switch online membership. <v Speaker 1>Uh well yeah, but you don't need an online membership <v Speaker 1>to go on the shop and buy a game, you know, <v Speaker 1>you just need to do that. So yeah, that's how <v Speaker 1>I did it. That's how we did it. And then <v Speaker 1>we also have I want to give some Resident Evil <v Speaker 1>nine thoughts because I've almost finished the game. I'm not <v Speaker 1>going to do any spoilers and I'm going to keep <v Speaker 1>that part pretty quick, but I have been playing that. <v Speaker 1>And also we have an indie world yeah to react to. <v Speaker 1>So those are our three main topics today and we're <v Speaker 1>going to get through all of them. I don't know <v Speaker 1>if we'll have time for side stuff. We also have <v Speaker 1>a really fun interactive sponsor spot sponsored by VICHA, where <v Speaker 1>you guys are going to play some Resident Evil nine <v Speaker 1>in Glasses, which is gonna be really fun and exciting. <v Speaker 1>I look forward to doing that. <v Speaker 2>Off the rip. <v Speaker 1>A couple of announcements, maybe just one actually, So audio <v Speaker 1>has been a big thing on the podcast. You know, <v Speaker 1>this is a brand new studio and the guys have <v Speaker 1>been doing their best to figure out the audio and <v Speaker 1>get it set up, and we've had a lot of <v Speaker 1>hiccups and issues. So let us know how it's sounding today. <v Speaker 1>Because Pat and the boys they were here until like <v Speaker 1>midnight last night. Wow, they were here a long time <v Speaker 1>trying to figure out essentially breaking it all down and <v Speaker 1>rebuilding it all and trying to get it sound nice. <v Speaker 1>And I heard it today right before we went live. <v Speaker 1>I think it sounds really sound crispy, christy, crunchy sound. Yes, <v Speaker 1>So let us know if it sounds good even in <v Speaker 1>the live or in the post. Also, like even volume <v Speaker 1>levels because people have always said that the YouTube is <v Speaker 1>really low compared to other videos, so we tried to <v Speaker 1>match that up now. So we're hoping where we're at <v Speaker 1>now sounds really good. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, people are saying it sounds great. Okay, that is fantastic. <v Speaker 1>Shout the boys guys, they put it. Awesome to hear it. <v Speaker 1>Thank you so much. Uh, let me check. I think <v Speaker 1>that was it. I think that's all I had to address. <v Speaker 1>So with that said, let's get into this. <v Speaker 4>There it is, man, see that sounds every week for <v Speaker 4>this that sounds really good in here. <v Speaker 2>Watch everyone be like that was so loud. We tested that. <v Speaker 1>So I'm gonna let you guys start because I'm gonna <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna bleed into Polkopedia when I do mine. <v Speaker 4>So all right, Well, before I even tell you about <v Speaker 4>the games, we guys I had started playing. I have <v Speaker 4>a little present for me. No, but it is Pokemon related. <v Speaker 4>And so this is actually made by my friend shouting <v Speaker 4>in Tancisco. He three D printed them himself based off <v Speaker 4>our discussion about Pokemon wins and waves. And I figured <v Speaker 4>I didn't want to pick it right away because I <v Speaker 4>want you guys to pick, but I do have all <v Speaker 4>three pokemons. Okay, that sick. I know what I want, <v Speaker 4>So I would say, what do you want? Is a pompomah? <v Speaker 2>Yeah? All right, so you got Also, I was thinking <v Speaker 2>about something. I want to brow it, all right, That's <v Speaker 2>what I thought. I want to correct a record on something, <v Speaker 2>but I'll do it later. Let's take a look. <v Speaker 4>Oh my cause the first time I'm taking these out <v Speaker 4>of the wrapping, it just just came in yesterday. So <v Speaker 4>you never looked at them, No, not yet. Oh it's <v Speaker 4>so cute. It's so cute. Nice, that's adorable. Wait who <v Speaker 4>printed this, my friends? Oh that's awesome. It looks like <v Speaker 4>ten Cisco. They painted it too. Yeah, he did the <v Speaker 4>three D print and then he painted all like the <v Speaker 4>details and everything. <v Speaker 2>This is so cute. You realize now that we are <v Speaker 2>lucked in. <v Speaker 4>I was kind of like, if I show no choice, <v Speaker 4>if I showed this, I have to pick Geka, So <v Speaker 4>you have no choice. Next year, I'm going to be <v Speaker 4>a Geka player. Okay, that's cute, Thank you so much. <v Speaker 4>I'm going to put my nupe put off. <v Speaker 2>Bro brought gang in the chat. Let me know, nice, awesome. <v Speaker 2>Look is that is that a chicken or owl? Because <v Speaker 2>it's a chick. I think it's like a chickpea or something. <v Speaker 2>Well that's what people in my video said. I think <v Speaker 2>it's an owl though, because the name has owl in it. <v Speaker 2>I know. I think it's a mix of sprout and eyebrow. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>but it has owl in the name. It doesn't. <v Speaker 4>It does no else els here bro right, brow, there's <v Speaker 4>no w l T no, just like brow and eyebrow <v Speaker 4>and then just tea. <v Speaker 2>So it's like it's definitely a chick. It's not an owl. <v Speaker 2>I thought it was an owl at first, but then <v Speaker 2>when I looked at him, like, yeah, it's obviously. <v Speaker 1>I guess doesn't matter. But we already had a chicken, <v Speaker 1>didn't we. We had a a couple of birds. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, tor chick was lit. It turns to blazeing literally lived. Yeah. <v Speaker 4>Oh wait, real quick too. There's one extra thing for you, <v Speaker 4>specifically what that he made. It's a cute little coin. <v Speaker 4>Oh it's like it's like a TCG coin. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's cute. Thank you, hedgel tails tails. <v Speaker 4>I could feel you a little leg but I heard that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean I wanted him to guess. Oh, thank you. <v Speaker 2>I appreciate it. <v Speaker 4>Thank you so much for all I really appreciate that <v Speaker 4>being said. Yeah, so shout at Cisco for that. Awesome dude. <v Speaker 4>He's a huge Pokemon fan. But in terms of the <v Speaker 4>games I've been playing, there's two games I actually just <v Speaker 4>played majority of the weekend or and even the week <v Speaker 4>was fire Red. I've been playing NonStop. I was playing <v Speaker 4>it when you. <v Speaker 2>Can a lot of Pokemon right now. <v Speaker 1>Yes, it's so funny because Pokemon, like, it's not been <v Speaker 1>the game that really I feel like has carried the <v Speaker 1>Switch at any point, but right now kind of feels <v Speaker 1>like there's a lot of really cool Pokemon stuff happened, <v Speaker 1>and I. <v Speaker 4>Think, I know we were kind of like talking about <v Speaker 4>like if wins and Ways is next year, what's going <v Speaker 4>to be this year? Kind of feels like right now <v Speaker 4>we're like in a good mix of stuff, and I <v Speaker 4>know maybe one other spinoff could come out later this year, <v Speaker 4>but like, I think we're set for I. <v Speaker 2>Can't wait to talk about Papa. Yeah. Okay, so I'm <v Speaker 2>letting it now. Yes, all right. <v Speaker 4>So I've been playing a lot of fire Red, been <v Speaker 4>working on that the Poke Dex. I haven't shiny Hunted <v Speaker 4>anything yet. I don't want to attempt to just yet. <v Speaker 4>But a game I just played last night was one <v Speaker 4>that you played recently, and that is Final Fantasy. I've <v Speaker 4>been remaking Integrated. Oh I switched to on your switch <v Speaker 4>to Yah, how nice is it? It is really nice? <v Speaker 4>So nice extremely as I was streaming it for bad <v Speaker 4>only got to like chapter three or four. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, but like it visually it looks great. Have you <v Speaker 2>played it before? <v Speaker 4>I did my PS four years ago and I never <v Speaker 4>finished it, So I was just like, you know what, <v Speaker 4>I'm just gonna buy on it. <v Speaker 2>It's absolutely a replayable game. Yes, yeah, I'm enjoying. <v Speaker 4>There's not a lot of games that I really I <v Speaker 4>don't love replaying a game, but that one's like, as <v Speaker 4>soon as you stop playing it, you're like, Noah, all right, <v Speaker 4>I'm going to finish this. Yeah, controls feel great and <v Speaker 4>geographically it looks amazing. So I've been enjoying that. That's <v Speaker 4>a really good time for that. Yeah, that's my game, <v Speaker 4>all right, Sally? <v Speaker 2>What you got? Uh? <v Speaker 4>So? <v Speaker 3>I mean I started fire Red two this week obviously, <v Speaker 3>you know, considering that it came out with Leaf Green, <v Speaker 3>I was gonna choose Leaf Green, but I chose fire <v Speaker 3>Red instead because my childhood classic. And then I also <v Speaker 3>played through two games from my channel. I played through <v Speaker 3>Diddy Kong Racing and Super Mario Bros. <v Speaker 2>Three. Oh yeah. <v Speaker 3>And then I started playing a Link between Worlds the <v Speaker 3>first time. <v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, you hadn't played that. How far are you? So? <v Speaker 3>I got like maybe I got like because you know <v Speaker 3>how like there's the first set up, like a link <v Speaker 3>to the past. <v Speaker 2>You got like the three dungeons. So I'm at the <v Speaker 2>first dun area. What are the vibes? I really like it. <v Speaker 3>I mean, the graphics were kind of a little two <v Speaker 3>cartoony for me. Okay, but but no, no, no, it's definitely <v Speaker 3>grown on me for sure. <v Speaker 4>I hit him with the okay, and then you've got <v Speaker 4>the interesting no no no about the lower I'm playing <v Speaker 4>it for the The game itself is phenomenal. It is. <v Speaker 1>I can't I spent a while since I played it, <v Speaker 1>so I can't remember like those early moments, but when <v Speaker 1>you get stuck into it. <v Speaker 2>That's what I heard. <v Speaker 3>That Like, there's like each character has like an echo <v Speaker 3>character in the game too, so like you know links <v Speaker 3>character echo characters Ravio, the guy with the mask, yeah, <v Speaker 3>the bunny guy and I got I mean that's that's <v Speaker 3>what is like really appealing to me about the game <v Speaker 3>is just like the storyline behind it. <v Speaker 2>And plus it's a very similar tooling to the past. <v Speaker 2>It is. Yes, they just messed around with the dimensions exactly. <v Speaker 4>Just yeah, okay, cool, that's it. <v Speaker 2>That's a lot. <v Speaker 1>Yeah yeah, okay, all right, and then for me, I <v Speaker 1>guess we can get out the Resident Evil nine stuff <v Speaker 1>now that again, absolutely no spoilers, believe me, because I'm not. <v Speaker 1>I couldn't imagine spoiling something as cool as this game, <v Speaker 1>So don't like click away in a panic thinking you're <v Speaker 1>going to hear something. <v Speaker 2>I'm just gonna tell you. <v Speaker 1>I love it like Resident Evil nine, and I'm playing <v Speaker 1>it on Switch as well, because Okay, to begin with, <v Speaker 1>I was like, pretty sure I was going to grab <v Speaker 1>it on PlayStation this whole time, Like this whole time <v Speaker 1>I've known about the game. I was like, I have <v Speaker 1>a pro why would and I but then I got <v Speaker 1>early review codes of seven and eight and I played <v Speaker 1>through both of them, and I finished eight the day <v Speaker 1>after nine came out, and I was so impressed by <v Speaker 1>those ports. Like I know I talked about it already, <v Speaker 1>but like sixty fps in eight it was sixteen parts <v Speaker 1>and then it dipped a little bit in the open <v Speaker 1>world areas, but visually they were both so impressive, and <v Speaker 1>I was like, well, I'm already here at this point, <v Speaker 1>like I've already has gone through these had a great time. <v Speaker 1>Let's check out nine and see what it's like. And <v Speaker 1>I'm just blown away by this game. So you guys <v Speaker 1>are going to play it today in the Glasses at <v Speaker 1>some point, so you'll see a little bit of it, <v Speaker 1>and you'll see it in the micro led big four <v Speaker 1>K like screens so you'll get a good look at it. <v Speaker 1>It's just so gorgeous. Again, sixty fps. It's so much fun. <v Speaker 1>I don't want to give too many spoilers, and I <v Speaker 1>don't want to give any spoilers, but you've seen this <v Speaker 1>in the trailer already and everyone's talking about it, and <v Speaker 1>it's just like the gameplay style. So I'm going to <v Speaker 1>mention the gameplay style because I think it's like the <v Speaker 1>coolest thing about it, so to summarize it quickly, And <v Speaker 1>I gave Kim this whole spiel the other night and <v Speaker 1>she fell asleep while I was telling her why I <v Speaker 1>love it so much. So seven and eight went to <v Speaker 1>like this first person's perspective, and it was very much <v Speaker 1>like this new character, Ethan Winters was entering the world <v Speaker 1>of Resident Evil and he went into these like haunted <v Speaker 1>mansions essentially and faced the horrors that is Resident Evil, <v Speaker 1>and it was very scary and it was all new experience. <v Speaker 1>Making it first person really brought you into the genres <v Speaker 1>like a first time. It's really cool. So then with nine, <v Speaker 1>what they've done is Grace, who's the new character. She's <v Speaker 1>very timid and she's very new to this world. All <v Speaker 1>of her stuff's in the first person, so she's like <v Speaker 1>crawling around stealth and around, like she has limited AMMO <v Speaker 1>and resources, so I'm really trying to like get past everything, <v Speaker 1>and it's like narrow hallway is really scary. Then like <v Speaker 1>after a segment with her, you flip over to Leon <v Speaker 1>and Leon is done the same way he was in <v Speaker 1>Resident Evil four, where it's third person, and it's like <v Speaker 1>you get his guns and you shoot something and it <v Speaker 1>stumbles and then you can karate kick it and you <v Speaker 1>get your axe and you slam it and you're just <v Speaker 1>tearing through the zombies. His big gun is called Requiem, <v Speaker 1>which is like the name of the game, and one <v Speaker 1>shot will blow anything away. So you'll go through like <v Speaker 1>this section with Grace where it's like everything is terrifying <v Speaker 1>and you're trying not to like there's there's enemies that <v Speaker 1>if you make sound they'll go crazy, so trying really <v Speaker 1>hard to be quiet. Then you'll get that same section <v Speaker 1>with Leon and you're like all right, and you just <v Speaker 1>everything that you were trying to avoid, you just mul <v Speaker 1>through it all nice. <v Speaker 2>So I like to split. <v Speaker 1>It's really sick. It's really cool. It really highlights him <v Speaker 1>as like this superhero veteran to the just super favorite one. <v Speaker 1>I think, yeah, and it's really hard to not see <v Speaker 1>it as my favorite because I'll be honest too. Like <v Speaker 1>seven and eight, I hadn't played before I fell in <v Speaker 1>love with them, and they became my favorite Resident Evils, <v Speaker 1>like just now. While I've been playing, I didn't play <v Speaker 1>them because I was like, that's not resident Evil to me, <v Speaker 1>like first person like super horror, like I don't even <v Speaker 1>like horror. But then I got really into them and <v Speaker 1>I kind of discovered it's not really like, it's not <v Speaker 1>super scary, and it's also not what I thought it was. <v Speaker 1>Its both those games are centered around these larger than <v Speaker 1>life characters like the big Mummy lady, and they're like <v Speaker 1>hot daughters. And all these characters will like follow you around, <v Speaker 1>they'll stalk you around. <v Speaker 2>Have you seen them? No? Hold on, hold on, we <v Speaker 2>have to we have to detail just for this. <v Speaker 3>I mean told me something interesting the other day and <v Speaker 3>I was, what should I say it? <v Speaker 1>You're asking me, Well, it depends because my wife might <v Speaker 1>be watching What Ladies bro Well that these aren't the <v Speaker 1>big ladies, these are a. <v Speaker 2>Daughter, the daughters so they're like weirdly attractive but like <v Speaker 2>also scary. <v Speaker 1>So like this one kind of looks like Kim, So <v Speaker 1>like I feel like I get the past by saying this, <v Speaker 1>but it's what I mean by like it's a different <v Speaker 1>vibe where like there's a there's a scene where the <v Speaker 1>three daughters they pop out of nowhere and grab you <v Speaker 1>and drag the drag you back to their room and <v Speaker 1>hang you up on hooks and like the whole time <v Speaker 1>I was like, Okay, let's see where this has gone. <v Speaker 2>Let's see where the night takes us. <v Speaker 1>It wasn't the same as nine, where everything is terrifying, <v Speaker 1>like it's creatures and it's zombies. Zombies are back. Seven <v Speaker 1>and eight didn't have zombies. Nine has zombies again. It's <v Speaker 1>really cool anyway, that's them. You know what the mummy <v Speaker 1>looks like, right, the big big lady. <v Speaker 2>Let me see a freshman memory. Yeah, lady lady, it'll <v Speaker 2>give a tresco dimmer dimmer something. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. So she is their mom and then their daughters. <v Speaker 1>So she's like eight feet tall and she stalks you <v Speaker 1>around with these big like sife fingers. <v Speaker 2>Oh wow, So she. <v Speaker 1>Like a lot of seven and eight is being followed <v Speaker 1>around areas by these characters. So like you'll enter a <v Speaker 1>room to solve a puzzle, You've been in that room <v Speaker 1>like a hundred times. Yeah, and you'll open the door <v Speaker 1>and she'll be standing there like found you, and it's like, <v Speaker 1>oh my god, you gotta run away. Yeah yeah, So yeah, <v Speaker 1>seven and eight is really good, awesome. I mean for <v Speaker 1>the switch ports, ten out of ten. Maybe the eight <v Speaker 1>I'll give a nine out of ten because it dips <v Speaker 1>frame rates, but visually ten out of ten. And then <v Speaker 1>the games themselves, I thought they were like nine out <v Speaker 1>of ten's ten out of tens, like as good as <v Speaker 1>games really get. <v Speaker 2>I loved them. <v Speaker 4>I can't stress enough, like they've entered like my favorite <v Speaker 4>games of all time. Nice, I really liked them. <v Speaker 3>Sorts they came for swit like on switch and switch to, <v Speaker 3>like just switch to, oh for seven and eight. <v Speaker 1>Just seven, eight, nine O all switch to the switch <v Speaker 1>one wouldn't be able to handle it, okay, like at all. <v Speaker 1>Like I actually have a video coming out kind of <v Speaker 1>about Residentaval, kind of about the switch to. But the <v Speaker 1>thing that we're really seeing with the switch Too isn't <v Speaker 1>just the better internals, which it has, like like the <v Speaker 1>physical like SSD, GPU CPU actually being better. It's that <v Speaker 1>DLSS technology because what they're doing with this game, so, <v Speaker 1>oh god, I guess I love this, right, it's actually <v Speaker 1>made me fall in love with the switch itself. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>that's awesome because so when you try and put a <v Speaker 1>game on switch, Let's say you want to try and <v Speaker 1>hit ten ADP, right, for our games like this, to <v Speaker 1>do that, to get that full resolution even at thirty frames, <v Speaker 1>you got to strip out like textures, shadows, lightings. Right, <v Speaker 1>then you get the really bad muddy looking ports like <v Speaker 1>which are three right, they had to like strip everything <v Speaker 1>out that made the game look even a little bit nice, <v Speaker 1>and then it still runs at like five hundred and <v Speaker 1>forty P. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>What the switch to is able to do is not <v Speaker 1>only utilize it's better internals, which are a lot better, <v Speaker 1>but this game, this Resident Evil, it's actually native five <v Speaker 1>hundred and forty P. So they've able to leave in <v Speaker 1>the shadows, leave in the lighting, leave in the effects, <v Speaker 1>leave in everything that makes it look good because they're <v Speaker 1>not targeting ten eighty, they're targeting five forty. Then the <v Speaker 1>DLSS is artificially boosting it up to ten eight and <v Speaker 1>you can't tell the difference between that and native TENACERPY <v Speaker 1>unless you're like, you know, your digital foundering and you're <v Speaker 1>like nitpicking like little certain things, which is their job. <v Speaker 2>To do, and they're really good at it. <v Speaker 1>But like general people like me, I'm not going to <v Speaker 1>be like, oh I can tell because of this all that. <v Speaker 1>It just looks really good and it runs at sixty <v Speaker 1>fps because of it, Yeah, just spat everywhere. <v Speaker 2>So anyway, I gain. I'm really excited about it. <v Speaker 1>Because it's just so cool what the switch two can do, <v Speaker 1>and I think that's moving forward, you're gonna see it <v Speaker 1>do some really impressive things that people aren't expecting because again, <v Speaker 1>like what this is, the Resident Evil nine is a <v Speaker 1>brand new, just out the gate game that looks gorgeous, <v Speaker 1>like industry standard gorgeos, especially some of those early shots, <v Speaker 1>and it's sixty fps on switch to and there's some <v Speaker 1>scenes where you can't tell the difference. <v Speaker 2>Are you going to buy it on your PS five? Yeah? <v Speaker 2>I think I will. <v Speaker 1>Actually I think I'll buy it on PC and do <v Speaker 1>a second play through just because I can fully max <v Speaker 1>out everything, because that's let's be real here, it would <v Speaker 1>look nicer on my PC. <v Speaker 4>I'm not an idiot. It will have they will have <v Speaker 4>the best graphics them. Yeah, it will looks phenomenal and <v Speaker 4>I just want to see it. The one thing that's <v Speaker 4>always the giveaway is the hair, and like these developers <v Speaker 4>have found like a lot of workarounds to make cares <v Speaker 4>look nice. Actually, the developer, I think we talked about <v Speaker 4>this for Final Fantasy seven, talked about how they restructured <v Speaker 4>hair in the game so it didn't get messed up <v Speaker 4>by DLSS. And then actually, if you look at a <v Speaker 4>resident Evil nine Grace her hair on other consoles to switch, <v Speaker 4>they changed her hair the style complete. Yea, they made <v Speaker 4>it look different so that it didn't get messed up <v Speaker 4>by the DLSS. <v Speaker 1>So it's interesting what they're doing to work around that. <v Speaker 1>But you can still kind of see that it's doing <v Speaker 1>that little pixelated thing. <v Speaker 2>Which are you going to get when they come out? <v Speaker 1>Yes, yeah, I have, like for the remakes, I have <v Speaker 1>all the statues from the collector's editions. <v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, they're like prominent in my collection. <v Speaker 3>Items and stuff. Huh a meobo who knows? Yeah, nobody <v Speaker 3>buys a mebo for I know. <v Speaker 4>I've seen so many people like making videos on them. <v Speaker 4>But like the idea that Ambo out of all the <v Speaker 4>other toys of life like genre things like survived this long. Yeah, <v Speaker 4>and they're really only just like, yeah, you've got a <v Speaker 4>few items here and there, but they're just primarily collectibles. <v Speaker 2>Now yeah, I think that's still pretty well. <v Speaker 1>We talked about this, but it's just it's bizarre because <v Speaker 1>like during the Smash era, the only Amobos you really <v Speaker 1>got were Smash reveals. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, And now that we're out of the Smash era, <v Speaker 1>I think Nintendo would just like, well, we have ambos <v Speaker 1>and we want to keep making amobos, but we don't <v Speaker 1>have Smash, so what do we do? So they're just <v Speaker 1>making ambos now. So and they've definitely i mean, I <v Speaker 1>think Smash even opened it up two third parties because <v Speaker 1>you've had like them working with Sora from Kingdom Hearts <v Speaker 1>and other companies, so they must have figured out licensing. <v Speaker 1>So now it's just like you boarding a game to switch, <v Speaker 1>do you want to buy in a mebo package and <v Speaker 1>doing Ambo as well, because they split the revenue obviously <v Speaker 1>with whatever the company is boarding. But it's it's weird <v Speaker 1>seeing them because it's like, is Leon. <v Speaker 2>Coming to Smash? <v Speaker 1>That means because in the mebo for him, so he <v Speaker 1>must be in Smash, which wouldn't be incredible, like if <v Speaker 1>they start if they bring back Smash and we get <v Speaker 1>back into that world of getting reveals and we have <v Speaker 1>like a direct right where let's let's let's build this out. <v Speaker 1>Yeah's so we have a direct in like a year <v Speaker 1>from now when the new Smash is out right, and <v Speaker 1>then we see like Capcom comes up on the screen <v Speaker 1>Smash boards Legacy and it's leon right, and he's like <v Speaker 1>going around and he's like, you know how like in <v Speaker 1>games you pick things up and you look at things, <v Speaker 1>get like a herb or something, and he like kills <v Speaker 1>a zombie and then he goes over and he looks <v Speaker 1>at a desk and there's an envelope and he goes <v Speaker 1>and he picks up the envelope and he opens it <v Speaker 1>and the Smash. <v Speaker 4>Logos in it, and it's like and then you just <v Speaker 4>how sick that's awesome? <v Speaker 2>Don't know what would be? <v Speaker 4>I think too now you mentioned because it's it's funny. <v Speaker 4>I think we inevitably we'll talk about Smash at some <v Speaker 4>point and we already are at some point. Yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 4>it's crazy that like now with all the third parties <v Speaker 4>that are on switch, you're like, well, if you're on <v Speaker 4>here already, yeah, right, what would not say that you <v Speaker 4>could be in? <v Speaker 1>I mean it opens it up. I mean, I mean <v Speaker 1>it depends what they do. I mean we're on a <v Speaker 1>tangent now, but it depends what they do. Because if <v Speaker 1>they do like ultimate where you immediately have all the characters, <v Speaker 1>then you have to go somewhere else. <v Speaker 2>So that's what you get Leon and Prug monitor. That <v Speaker 2>makes sense. <v Speaker 4>But if they're rebooting it, then the characters would be like, <v Speaker 4>who are we getting back? <v Speaker 2>Who are you adding? <v Speaker 4>Do you think? <v Speaker 3>I feel like you can eliminate half the Smash roster <v Speaker 3>as it is currently an Ultimate and nobody would be upset, <v Speaker 3>Like a lot of people want. <v Speaker 4>Well, I agree with you. That would be individual people <v Speaker 4>that are like I loved playing well yeah whatever his <v Speaker 4>name is ya, which like you can eliminate half the <v Speaker 4>Firelon characters and I want a bad nine. Yeah, there's <v Speaker 4>something I think you should totally I agree and ones <v Speaker 4>like there's definitely like mains and stuff like that, but like, <v Speaker 4>all right, that's stuff all targeted. What about like my <v Speaker 4>game and watch Guy and stuff like that. <v Speaker 2>That's the thing, like we should. We should do it. <v Speaker 2>That should be a game. That should be a game <v Speaker 2>for sure. <v Speaker 4>We should do a game where we where we have <v Speaker 4>to delete fifty percent. We have to, we have to <v Speaker 4>after the snap half of the roster. We should do that. <v Speaker 1>Write that down some Let's do that next week, actually <v Speaker 1>not next week, because we have a guest next week <v Speaker 1>after that? Can I should I say who the guest <v Speaker 1>is for next week? Should I hype it up? <v Speaker 2>Guys? You want to know? Tell us? Tell us right now. <v Speaker 2>I was thinking of doing it like a like a <v Speaker 2>Pokemon like who is this? Like? Oh yeah? <v Speaker 1>So I could either do that during the week and <v Speaker 1>post it to socials, or I could bring up a <v Speaker 1>photo of them now and just cut I think maybe <v Speaker 1>both do like a quick photo right now and then <v Speaker 1>later on the week. <v Speaker 4>Just do like well, I would ruin the surprise. Then <v Speaker 4>I would ruin the surprise. People would give it away. <v Speaker 4>What do you think? <v Speaker 2>You know? <v Speaker 3>I think it's that you're gonna build the anticipation up <v Speaker 3>and then everybody's gonna come in next week to tune in. <v Speaker 1>Let's do let's do this. Let's do a Poland chat? <v Speaker 1>Can you do a Poland chat for me? I think <v Speaker 1>we can do I can do one. Should we reveal <v Speaker 1>the guests for next week? Everybody's saying yes, yes or no, <v Speaker 1>can I do it? They're just gonna say yes. <v Speaker 4>They want to know. Everybody's curious, No, how do I can? <v Speaker 4>How do I word this is biggest guest? <v Speaker 2>Fair? <v Speaker 1>I don't know if that's mean to say the like <v Speaker 1>previous guests, because Scott is a huge guest. <v Speaker 2>No, no, no. If you're basing it off of numbers, then <v Speaker 2>you know what you're saying is correct. <v Speaker 4>I would also say based on longevity, like I think, yeah, person, <v Speaker 4>I'm really honored and excited by this one, and I <v Speaker 4>do the big deal. <v Speaker 2>It's a big deal, and I do think it is <v Speaker 2>the coolest. No. Offense to Scott Scott was great. <v Speaker 1>Scott Scott's Scott is larger than life. <v Speaker 2>But he's also like one of my really good friends <v Speaker 2>at this point. So it's also like you know. <v Speaker 4>That, Look, there's like an a I thing that popped <v Speaker 4>up and said viewers in the stream want the guests <v Speaker 4>to reveal who the the mysterious. <v Speaker 2>Don't reveal it. I don't reveal it. <v Speaker 1>Well, then when when do I reveal it? Like during <v Speaker 1>the week on socials. Guys, it's donkey now, I'm just kidding. <v Speaker 1>I want I feel like it's hyping it up. I <v Speaker 1>guess yeah, then it's you. I mean it's up to you. <v Speaker 1>Everybody's going crazy. There's not one person who said don't. <v Speaker 1>But it's funny seeing all the guesses. <v Speaker 4>Maybe like show like a small part like their body <v Speaker 4>zooming on, like there you guys zoom in on like. <v Speaker 1>A wait, wait, wait, don't show my screen. I can't <v Speaker 1>zoom in anymore. Click on the image and then like <v Speaker 1>open it up and then try to zoom in. That's <v Speaker 1>a little bit better text right there. I was trying <v Speaker 1>to show just that one pot. You know, somebody gets <v Speaker 1>mister beasts? How did you know? How did you know <v Speaker 1>it was mister beest? <v Speaker 2>What else we could do? Just kidd and it's not <v Speaker 2>mister beast? I don't know about what about this? Wait? <v Speaker 4>What about what about that? What if I just show <v Speaker 4>you that someone might get it? Someone might definitely they <v Speaker 4>will get it. We didn't either say it and move <v Speaker 4>on or move on. <v Speaker 2>So let's do it. <v Speaker 4>Let's do a thing in the room. I say, let's <v Speaker 4>just do it, because we talked about it. Here's our <v Speaker 4>quick little screenshot. Here's the way I don't show you, <v Speaker 4>don't show it. Don't show yet. Because I was doing <v Speaker 4>a weird goofy. <v Speaker 2>I was all like zoomed, Innate the Hate. Yes, yes, yes, <v Speaker 2>I am honored to have Nate the Hate. <v Speaker 1>All right, hold on, you can They're gonna see it. <v Speaker 1>They gotta see it. They can pause, they can show it. <v Speaker 1>I am honored and excited to announce that a v <v Speaker 1>g N will be doing next week. <v Speaker 2>So for those of you who guessed it, yeah, yeah. <v Speaker 1>I'm so excited, honestly, so honored, and uh yeah, we're <v Speaker 1>doing it at eight pm. I didn't say that, but okay, nice. <v Speaker 1>He's actually moved the time on me a few times. <v Speaker 1>I told you guys different times. Right now, we're gonna <v Speaker 1>go live at am primetime, guys. <v Speaker 2>I'm very excited. <v Speaker 1>And it's also really cool because like Scott the Walls <v Speaker 1>will tell you that A v g M was one <v Speaker 1>of his biggest inspirations. I mean he, I mean he <v Speaker 1>said that before, for that's why they collapsed so much <v Speaker 1>and where they connected. But also like just look at <v Speaker 1>Scott's channel, it's like rooted in the history of ABGN. <v Speaker 1>It faced like review style. And I mean I've been <v Speaker 1>watching AVGN for I don't know how long. I mean <v Speaker 1>his mega man God yeah yeah, I mean he's been <v Speaker 1>doing it since the first year, two thousand and six. <v Speaker 2>He's been doing it since the ver He's still going strong, yeah, <v Speaker 2>super strong. <v Speaker 1>Like he just uploaded an episode like of his like <v Speaker 1>nerd Reviews the other day a million views. Like I <v Speaker 1>don't know if anyone has. <v Speaker 4>That type of like longevity of doing the same thing <v Speaker 4>and still like doing better than like most YouTube channels. <v Speaker 3>I mean, imagine it's been through every single algorithmic change <v Speaker 3>in YouTube. <v Speaker 1>He battled at all, he faced it all, every single channel, <v Speaker 1>and I want to ask him about that. And also like, <v Speaker 1>as far as I know, no controversies, like, and he's <v Speaker 1>like a super nice guy, like he's so down on earth, <v Speaker 1>is always angry. He's angry in his video. But I'm very, <v Speaker 1>very excited, so tune in next week. And also I <v Speaker 1>guess this is a good chance to say comment down <v Speaker 1>below anything that you would want us to talk about. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>for sure, because I don't know how much like current <v Speaker 1>stuff he plays. I think it's going to be a <v Speaker 1>lot of like retro talk. Yeah, but I guess we'll see. <v Speaker 1>We'll get into it. <v Speaker 4>They leave your questions to the comments, guys, make sure <v Speaker 4>you do that, all right. So sorry, we've been beating. <v Speaker 4>We haven't even done this yet, all right. Took us <v Speaker 4>a minute to get here. But let's talk about Pocopia. <v Speaker 4>Oh boy, here we go. <v Speaker 1>So to begin with, we have this from IGN and <v Speaker 1>everyone knows about it, and it's the title of the episode, <v Speaker 1>Pokemon Pocolpia's metascore of eighty eight not only makes it <v Speaker 1>one of the highest reviewed games of the year so far, <v Speaker 1>it also makes it the highest rated Pokemon ever. Wow, <v Speaker 1>which is kind of crazy to think about. I don't <v Speaker 1>know if did like Red and Blue get rated back <v Speaker 1>in the day, does it qualify? Is it too old? <v Speaker 2>No? No, no, they've they definitely rated old games. I could <v Speaker 2>look it up. <v Speaker 4>We look it up because, like you got to imagine, <v Speaker 4>those games are pretty close to like perfect I mean <v Speaker 4>Red and Blue or fire Red and do both? Just <v Speaker 4>look up both, I mean I fire Red. You think <v Speaker 4>would be even higher? Metacritic is to be determined. It <v Speaker 4>might be too old. That might be why it might <v Speaker 4>be falling into the two old category. I don't know, <v Speaker 4>not sure when they would have started reviewing because like <v Speaker 4>better than Red and Blue and fire Red. <v Speaker 1>I'm not I mean, like I would say tied with. <v Speaker 1>I mean like if we're doing like nine out of ten, <v Speaker 1>which essentially this is nine out of ten. I know <v Speaker 1>it's eighty eight, but like, oh fire red and is <v Speaker 1>eighty one. Oh my interesting, interesting. <v Speaker 4>That's my word of the week. But like I would <v Speaker 4>give it, I would fire Red nine out of ten. <v Speaker 4>I'd say, so eighty eight means nine out of ten. <v Speaker 4>I'm no, I mean, no, metaicrek at eight means eighty eight. <v Speaker 1>I'm saying if you're doing like numbered scores like out <v Speaker 1>of ten, you would round that up. I mean, like <v Speaker 1>most reviewers wouldn't go I give it an eight point <v Speaker 1>eight out of ten. <v Speaker 3>That's a nine, right, yeah. I think what is the <v Speaker 3>highest ranking Metacritic game of all time? <v Speaker 1>Of old time? Okeringa or a time I believe is <v Speaker 1>like one hundred. I also think elden Ring got one hundred. <v Speaker 2>Wow. I knew it was Okering of time because I <v Speaker 2>remember looking at this ninety nine sole Caliber ninety eight <v Speaker 2>Are you kidding? So caliber two Eta five one or <v Speaker 2>two sole Caliber just the fast one, just the first one. <v Speaker 4>Oh woow, where's that elden Rings? I think Elderring got nine? Wait, <v Speaker 4>this isn't this is yeah, this is the SEGA one. <v Speaker 4>Elden Ring is not in the top ten at all. <v Speaker 4>It's crazy. Brother of the Wild is ninety seven. Heck yeah, <v Speaker 4>Galaxy one and two are both ninety seven. Yeah, dude, <v Speaker 4>to the whole list. <v Speaker 2>I want to know. Okay, GT five I was screened too. <v Speaker 2>I think he's on it. <v Speaker 3>Yeah yeah, GT five is ninety eight, Galaxy one of <v Speaker 3>two ninety seven, Brother of the Wild ninety seven, perfect dark. <v Speaker 2>Guys, have you played such a goaded game? Sixt eight <v Speaker 2>A five? I can see that. <v Speaker 1>Oh, Metroid Prime, Oh no, I'm not ready Metroid Prime. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, ninety seven GT. There's a lot of seven so caliber. <v Speaker 1>I know Soul Caliber is good, but the second slot <v Speaker 1>for a Dreamcast game is ye? <v Speaker 2>Why the Dreamcast version? I'm pretty sure that's Dreamcast. Yeah. <v Speaker 4>I was thinking it was going to be Sole Caliber <v Speaker 4>for GameCube. Yeah no, they're saying Red Dead too. Can <v Speaker 4>you scroll down? Where where is elden Ring? Then it's <v Speaker 4>got to be somewhere up there in that top isn't <v Speaker 4>Evil four not even the top twenty five Orange a. <v Speaker 1>Fox they put the orange backs really wow, mass Effect two. <v Speaker 1>Mass Effect two is one of my favorite yeah, okay, <v Speaker 1>twenty six Okay, that's not bad. Not bad in the <v Speaker 1>history of games. Come on, yeah, not bad. Boulterersgate two <v Speaker 1>is up there. When I played So my friends loved <v Speaker 1>Mass Effect one, my high school friends, and I was like, <v Speaker 1>this game looks poopy. I don't know why you like this. <v Speaker 1>And then two came out and I was like, well <v Speaker 1>it him play one. And then three came out and <v Speaker 1>they all bought three. They all went to the midnight <v Speaker 1>launch Yeah, and I was like, all right, I'm I'm <v Speaker 1>getting fomo now. So I went to GameStop and I <v Speaker 1>got the second one Yeah, and I fell in with it. <v Speaker 1>That second one is such a beautiful game. It is <v Speaker 1>one of the best games of all time. And then <v Speaker 1>I immediately jumped into three after that, and I loved three. <v Speaker 1>Three had a controversial ending. I thought it was great, <v Speaker 1>I mean not great, but I didn't like have a <v Speaker 1>huge problem with it. I just enjoyed the game so <v Speaker 1>much that I was like, Okay, I'm just handed. I <v Speaker 1>guess yeah, okay, uh yeah, we gotta do a we <v Speaker 1>gotta do an ad, which I'm not upset about, but <v Speaker 1>I was excited to get into Poke Pokemon. Let me okay, <v Speaker 1>before we talk about before we go into the ad, <v Speaker 1>let's stick on Pocopia for a little bit before I <v Speaker 1>talk about my opinion. I want to finish this conversation. <v Speaker 1>So it is the highest rated Pokemon game of all <v Speaker 1>time at eighty eight. I did see it hit ninety <v Speaker 1>for a bit and then I think it dipped down. <v Speaker 1>We have a lot of reviews here, we have can <v Speaker 1>we like, how do you do all reviews? Okay, here <v Speaker 1>we go. One hundred from Eurogame, one hundred for Gaming Bible. <v Speaker 1>I don't know if again I would give any game <v Speaker 1>ten out of ten. I think a lot of publishers do, <v Speaker 1>uh in like whole numbers, so that like I think <v Speaker 1>like one hundred is just like this game is good <v Speaker 1>to them. <v Speaker 2>I don't know. Ninety eighty eight. Uh, I guess this <v Speaker 2>isn't all of them? Yeah, sixty the gamer, the gamer <v Speaker 2>doesn't like it. <v Speaker 4>Let me game. <v Speaker 2>Oh wait, yeah, this is this is all of them? Now? No, <v Speaker 2>the gamer is the one that rates every switch thing poorly, <v Speaker 2>no matter what that So the gamer, I'm pretty sure <v Speaker 2>let me do some research here. I don't know if <v Speaker 2>I can the Gamer. I think the Gamer is single <v Speaker 2>handedly tanking all of Nintendo's games. I think they give. <v Speaker 2>Oh no way that, Yeah, I think they give. I <v Speaker 2>could be wrong. I think it's the game of chat. <v Speaker 2>Do you guys know? Because it's it's ringing a bell? <v Speaker 2>Can I search their reviews critic reviews you're seeing the <v Speaker 2>I think these are all of them, right? Okay? <v Speaker 3>Yeah, so the Gamer has eighty negative reviews, five hundred <v Speaker 3>and fourteen mixed reviews in six hundred and thirty positive reviews, <v Speaker 3>So they got a fifty one to forty ratio for <v Speaker 3>positive and mixed. <v Speaker 4>They randomly reviewed. Oh no, that would have been their remakes. Okay, <v Speaker 4>their highest reviewed game is eighty. Maybe I'm wrong and <v Speaker 4>it's not them. <v Speaker 2>I don't know. <v Speaker 1>I'm trying to see. Actually, yeah, maybe it's not them. <v Speaker 1>Maybe it's someone else. Well, I don't know why they <v Speaker 1>would do. Like you can't give Drag X drive a <v Speaker 1>seventy and then Polkopedia at sixty. Wow, Like something's not right, right? <v Speaker 2>I extrive the. <v Speaker 3>New John that came out first switched, yeah, last year, <v Speaker 3>the mouse control one. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I find it one so interesting when like a <v Speaker 1>game comes out and it's pretty much universally liked and <v Speaker 1>then one place will give it like a sixty, which <v Speaker 1>like is is like. <v Speaker 4>It's like the nine to ten doctors thing. We're like, yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 4>where nine doctors really like. <v Speaker 1>It the well the sixties like objectively not like the <v Speaker 1>right opinion, when like everyone else is rating it like <v Speaker 1>eights and ninety sixty. But because if you it drags <v Speaker 1>the whole thing down a couple points. <v Speaker 3>They probably do it for rage baiting, just to like <v Speaker 3>be that odd ball out to like be spoken on. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I don't. <v Speaker 1>I don't want to be too hot on them because <v Speaker 1>it might not be them that I'm thinking of. I mean, <v Speaker 1>I've been scrolling down a hot minute and I can't <v Speaker 1>actually see any reviews that I disagree with per se, <v Speaker 1>But there was someone. There was someone who was It <v Speaker 1>doesn't matter anyway. It got eighty eight, and do I <v Speaker 1>agree with that. I'll have to find out later. We'll <v Speaker 1>have to find out we're doing it. We're going to <v Speaker 1>do an ad read really quickly here. All right, So <v Speaker 1>this episode of the show is sponsored by cher and <v Speaker 1>I actually have to get up out of my seat <v Speaker 1>and hook this up for the boys, which won't take <v Speaker 1>too long. <v Speaker 2>So so you guys have to hold the show for me. <v Speaker 2>Well play the music bed, all right, let's let's look <v Speaker 2>some of the chat that we got, you know, not <v Speaker 2>too wir too. You can see me set it up. <v Speaker 2>Nice uncreative person probably reviewing. I mean, that's what happens <v Speaker 2>when you have one person designated for the review. I <v Speaker 2>actually agree with that. I feel like, so I'm going <v Speaker 2>to tell your my phone. <v Speaker 5>I feel like if you don't like Minecraft and building <v Speaker 5>and crafting, a lot of it would get lost on <v Speaker 5>exactly what you need to be like perspective as a <v Speaker 5>reviewer though, like, hey, it's not for me, but I <v Speaker 5>can see value and merit. <v Speaker 2>In exactly, or just point it off to somebody who's <v Speaker 2>actually played these style games. Maybe don't review it. It's <v Speaker 2>like reviewing one of the best horror games ever, like <v Speaker 2>Resident Evil. <v Speaker 4>And then well, I don't like all games. <v Speaker 2>It's too spooky, too many jump scared spooky for me. <v Speaker 2>Cortisal levels were high. So yours is a magnet, all right? <v Speaker 2>Oh so cool? <v Speaker 4>Which is cool? <v Speaker 2>Yours is plugged in directly because you've got the big boy, all. <v Speaker 4>Right, I'm gonna have to. <v Speaker 2>Alrighty guys, whoa, and then you're going to take this <v Speaker 2>controller and then let me know you. Oh wow, well <v Speaker 2>I can't see mine. <v Speaker 4>I see mine? Really? <v Speaker 2>Yeah? <v Speaker 4>Yours takes a second? <v Speaker 2>Wait on yours? Does this cool thing where it tracks <v Speaker 2>where you turn it on? Initially? Yeah? <v Speaker 4>I got you. <v Speaker 2>Actually I got a unplugged and plug it back. <v Speaker 4>Beautiful. Oh I saw Cisco and chat Cisco. Thank you <v Speaker 4>for the Pokemon keep talking. They look awesome. <v Speaker 2>Soul Caliber also only has twenty four reviews. Do people <v Speaker 2>go back and re review these old games? <v Speaker 6>No? <v Speaker 4>If yeah, if they were like reviewed when they came out, <v Speaker 4>then there's no reason to go back all the way <v Speaker 4>years later and be like, oh, by the way, I <v Speaker 4>think this game sucks. <v Speaker 2>They can mess up just the already perfect radio. You <v Speaker 2>guys have volume sliders. <v Speaker 4>Where are they at you? <v Speaker 2>Oh wow, this is sick Mine's left. <v Speaker 3>Holy crap, guys, I'm about to give you guys the <v Speaker 3>official DSP gaming. <v Speaker 2>Yeah it is. <v Speaker 1>Actually, that's kind of hilarious. You are actually going to <v Speaker 1>DSP this for load up Resident evil bro. <v Speaker 2>I'm not even kidding. Why does the screen look so good? <v Speaker 2>Load Up Resident I'm in. Do I restart the level? No? <v Speaker 1>I have you set up where I'm gonna describe it <v Speaker 1>to you. You're in the very first area of the game. <v Speaker 1>Oh my goodness, you need to walk into the I'm <v Speaker 1>going to tell you what to do. You have to <v Speaker 1>walk into the club it and you to grab the <v Speaker 1>lighter and check the fuse box. Okay, the closet, you <v Speaker 1>got it. So what's happening right now is they are <v Speaker 1>both jacked in the Resident Evil nine. Sully is playing, <v Speaker 1>but Night is also plugged in so he can see <v Speaker 1>what Sully is doing. They're going to play Resident Evil <v Speaker 1>nine in that beginning area. If you've played the game, <v Speaker 1>you know the area, and I'm going to do the <v Speaker 1>ad read. So once you get that lighter, you've got <v Speaker 1>to leave that room essentially and go left, and where <v Speaker 1>you where you have to go. You can explore a little, <v Speaker 1>but eventually you have to go all the way to <v Speaker 1>the end of the hall. <v Speaker 2>Bro It's scary right down there. <v Speaker 1>All the way to the end of the hall and <v Speaker 1>take a right and you're going to walk into like <v Speaker 1>a little closet area. <v Speaker 2>You're going to see like a desk and everything. <v Speaker 1>You're going to go over into that area and if <v Speaker 1>you can't figure it out, I'll come over there and <v Speaker 1>I'll i'll try and get your back on the right <v Speaker 1>course because I want you to get to where you <v Speaker 1>need to get to. I'm actually not even ready over <v Speaker 1>here because I was setting these guys. <v Speaker 4>I got to bring up the sponsor. So give me <v Speaker 4>a second here to get everything. This game looks incredible. <v Speaker 2>What are you seeing right now? <v Speaker 3>So I'm in that hallway with the with the little <v Speaker 3>furnace and the red light. Okay, and now I'm walking <v Speaker 3>in towards this. It looks like a living room with <v Speaker 3>the giant window. It's not even a living what is this? <v Speaker 1>I also want to say that there was a way <v Speaker 1>to set it up where you guys could see what <v Speaker 1>they're doing. I thought it would be funnier like this. <v Speaker 1>This was my idea to begin with, to do this. <v Speaker 1>I would love the chat. They had a way of <v Speaker 1>doing it, and we tried so hard to get it <v Speaker 1>to work. It was a lot of daisy chaining things <v Speaker 1>together and we just couldn't get this. So we're going <v Speaker 1>to do it back my way, which is the way <v Speaker 1>that we're doing it right now. <v Speaker 2>How do I use the lighter up on the. <v Speaker 4>Depad it should be default to up. Oh I heard <v Speaker 4>it as well, much better. <v Speaker 1>Who okay, So right now Sully is in the Witcher <v Speaker 1>Beast x O glasses, which you can see here, which <v Speaker 1>is then newest glasses. Oh my god, was that the zombie? <v Speaker 2>Okay? <v Speaker 4>Good? <v Speaker 2>Stick with it? Stick with it. Almost pissed my pants. <v Speaker 2>I'm very quiet right now because I know what's about <v Speaker 2>to happen. <v Speaker 4>Is it alive? <v Speaker 2>Dead? Sorry? <v Speaker 1>I know, like where when I'm not talking, I just <v Speaker 1>want to wait and see if I can get this <v Speaker 1>reaction from them biggest, brightest and sharpest ever, so essentially <v Speaker 1>in Sully's glasses. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, oh my god. <v Speaker 1>Okay, so that thing is scared of the light. Okay, <v Speaker 1>so get ready and seventy four inch cinematic display, so <v Speaker 1>sually you're looking at one hundred and seventy four inch <v Speaker 1>micro led screen with also you click in the thumbstick <v Speaker 1>to run quicker with a fifty eight degree field of view, <v Speaker 1>which is the most expansive the thumbstick. Clocking the thumbstick <v Speaker 1>the right one, as you always do to run, you <v Speaker 1>know in video games? <v Speaker 2>Are you running towards the light? Yeah? <v Speaker 4>Right now? <v Speaker 2>Okay, good, Oh my god. Up to well is it <v Speaker 2>still there? Wait until it goes away? <v Speaker 1>Okay, okay, up to twelve hundred p four K like resolution. <v Speaker 1>So the way they described this is it's not actually <v Speaker 1>a four K screen, but the clarity of that micro <v Speaker 1>led is so bright and so clear that a lot <v Speaker 1>of reviewers and tech review has started referring to it <v Speaker 1>as four K like. And it's kind of crazy because <v Speaker 1>you're actually playing docked off of the switch using the <v Speaker 1>bitcher Pro doc, so you're getting not only the full resolutions, <v Speaker 1>but you're getting it in a way that looks four K, <v Speaker 1>which is really cool and really bright too, like Sully's <v Speaker 1>glasses specifically are super bright. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, this is probably one of the best like vrs <v Speaker 3>I've ever like worn it. <v Speaker 2>So it's ar x x R actually I should say. <v Speaker 4>So. <v Speaker 1>Yes, it's a Sony screen as well, so it's Sony's <v Speaker 1>latest micro orelity. And then in your Sully, I can't <v Speaker 1>quite remember which one Night has because I have so <v Speaker 1>many of these glasses. <v Speaker 4>Now. <v Speaker 2>I gave Night one of the previous pairs. <v Speaker 1>I believe they're both harm and audio, but I know <v Speaker 1>for sure Sully's has harm and audio over it. Audio, <v Speaker 1>which is actually isolated only to Sully's ears. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, and it's nice because I could hear it directly <v Speaker 2>in and you. <v Speaker 1>Can hear me too. But it also sounds like you're <v Speaker 1>wearing headphones exactly. It's really really nice audio. So no glad, <v Speaker 1>no reflections, no distortion. Both those glasses have a chromatic film, <v Speaker 1>so they're both dimmed right now night. If you find <v Speaker 1>the button on the front to the left of your <v Speaker 1>face and just tap it one time, this one, yeah, <v Speaker 1>no tap like its unactual button underneath. If you tap <v Speaker 1>it one time, it should actually remove There you go. <v Speaker 1>We saw it in real time, so now you can <v Speaker 1>see through the glasses and actually see me hello. And <v Speaker 1>if you touch it again, it'll darken them again with <v Speaker 1>the chromatic film. So Sally's actually has an even better <v Speaker 1>improved version of that where he can control the amount <v Speaker 1>you just have on and off. Sully's can do all <v Speaker 1>the way up all the way down, yeah, and he <v Speaker 1>can set it to save to Okay, So now in <v Speaker 1>the game, you need to you essentially have to get <v Speaker 1>back into that room. You need to get back into <v Speaker 1>that room, and there's gonna be a screwdriver. Oh no, <v Speaker 1>that's the horse's a statue. Okay, you're going the wrong way. <v Speaker 1>You got to go back to that room where you <v Speaker 1>saw it, and you need to get the screwdriver that's <v Speaker 1>on top of the cabinet in that room that you <v Speaker 1>didn't actually manage to get into the room. Now go <v Speaker 1>back and try and get into the room. <v Speaker 2>Oh my gosh. <v Speaker 1>So also in Suthy's glasses, there's three different anchor modes. <v Speaker 1>So right now I have it set when no matter <v Speaker 1>where you move your head, you'll see the whole screen. <v Speaker 1>That's my favorite molde. I love that mode the most. <v Speaker 1>But you can also have it fixed in place, so <v Speaker 1>you can fix it somewhere and then you can behind <v Speaker 1>you and it won't be there, and then you can <v Speaker 1>look back and it will be there. I don't know <v Speaker 1>if I'm allowed to reference things, but like other companies, <v Speaker 1>but you can kind of think of like the Apple <v Speaker 1>Vision who does a similar thing. <v Speaker 2>Oh my gosh. <v Speaker 1>And then there's also like a like a flowing mode <v Speaker 1>where it will follow where you look, but it will <v Speaker 1>have a smooth follow motion, which if you have motion sickness, <v Speaker 1>it will help. However, I've never had any kind of <v Speaker 1>motion sickness at all. You can also plug it into <v Speaker 1>your So with the switch to Night, do you mind <v Speaker 1>holding up carefully that dock, the dock that's in front <v Speaker 1>of you. Yeah, so the switch to you'll need to <v Speaker 1>get that dock because the switch and the switch to <v Speaker 1>don't actually output video natively for the glasses. It's just <v Speaker 1>a it's a power point. Unfortunately, you can pop it down, <v Speaker 1>so you'll have to get that DOC. You can get <v Speaker 1>this dock attachment so you can snap it to the <v Speaker 1>back of your switch, and that way you can make <v Speaker 1>it portable. The added bonus of that dock is that <v Speaker 1>it acts as a charge bank that lasts for a <v Speaker 1>very long time, so it charges up your switch well <v Speaker 1>and keeps it charge. It also has two glasses points, <v Speaker 1>which is how they're managing to both look at it. <v Speaker 1>It also has HDMI, so you can plug in anything <v Speaker 1>with HDMI if you want to plug in your PlayStation <v Speaker 1>on your exbo. Reason No, so I like how Night <v Speaker 1>is getting scared but has no control. <v Speaker 2>I can't do any I just helplessly watch. <v Speaker 1>Yes, so the do the doc is really cool for <v Speaker 1>all of that, and but if you want to use <v Speaker 1>it on your steam deck or on any other handheld <v Speaker 1>or on your phone, or on your computer or on <v Speaker 1>your laptop. <v Speaker 2>You can just plug it in directly. <v Speaker 1>You can also grab a neckband, so I have a <v Speaker 1>neckband here. Essentially, you just wear it around your neck <v Speaker 1>wirelessly and you can plug the glasses into it and <v Speaker 1>it does Wi Fi and blue trollers, so you can <v Speaker 1>watch Netflix on the bus. <v Speaker 2>This is what they look like. <v Speaker 1>I don't even know if they want to be to <v Speaker 1>talk about this, but I'm just going over all of <v Speaker 1>that products because I love them. So you can wear <v Speaker 1>this with the glasses and then watch Netflix or do like. <v Speaker 1>You can even stream your Xbox games using the There's <v Speaker 1>like an app store on there. <v Speaker 2>Uh. <v Speaker 1>There's also three D tech in there, so if you <v Speaker 1>if you watch any three D media or any video files, <v Speaker 1>I'm just watching them now. Any video files that are <v Speaker 1>three D files, you can switch the glasses to three <v Speaker 1>D and see them in three D. <v Speaker 2>What else can we do here? I'm just looking down, <v Speaker 2>looking down, looking down the read the one behind you. <v Speaker 2>What do you guys? What do you did? You? Actually? <v Speaker 2>Did he eat you? Did you manage to get back <v Speaker 2>in that room? Yet? I did? <v Speaker 3>And I was moving the thing to reach the tool <v Speaker 3>box and then apparently that thing heard me. <v Speaker 1>That you can okay, hmmm, yes, so you got to <v Speaker 1>move it and then survive. There's like a there's a <v Speaker 1>thing you can hide under in that room. Okay, see <v Speaker 1>that's what I need. And then once it walks past you, you <v Speaker 1>can just run away and get back to that light room. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>it's so. It is the kind of thing where you <v Speaker 1>have to you have to try it for yourself. So <v Speaker 1>they had me go to Best Buy because there's a <v Speaker 1>bitcher display at some Best Buies, not all of them. <v Speaker 1>There's two best Spies near me that had it, so <v Speaker 1>that is a way to try it. Even if we <v Speaker 1>had plugged in the gameplay for you to see, you <v Speaker 1>would just be seeing Resident Evil nine gameplay like off <v Speaker 1>of a capture card from my switch. So it's like <v Speaker 1>it would be nice if you could see it, obviously, <v Speaker 1>and we did try, but you wouldn't be seeing what <v Speaker 1>they're seeing. You wouldn't be seeing the four K like <v Speaker 1>ultra clear screen, you wouldn't see it moving around or <v Speaker 1>anything cool like that. You would just get the gameplay <v Speaker 1>and know what they were doing. It is really something <v Speaker 1>you have to try for yourself. But I'm telling you, <v Speaker 1>like it's I sit up in my bed at night <v Speaker 1>playing Resident Evil, playing stuff Nautica, playing those glasses that <v Speaker 1>sall you're wearing. I have them on my bedside table <v Speaker 1>and when I go to bed. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, they're so sick. It's so cool. It's like it <v Speaker 3>doesn't hurt my eyes either. <v Speaker 4>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>But also like if we're in bed in Kim's watching TV, <v Speaker 1>I can switch the glasses to have the pass through <v Speaker 1>and I can like watch ninety Day Fiance while I'm <v Speaker 1>playing a game. Like it's it's so sick. <v Speaker 4>It's I mean, you could also just play on my <v Speaker 4>switch screen, but you know, to run straight, run straight? <v Speaker 2>What else do we got here? <v Speaker 4>Disappear? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean if you want to bring up that <v Speaker 1>code link in the description. Yeah, so if you click <v Speaker 1>the link below, you can get ten percent off everything <v Speaker 1>with code Nintendo or by clicking the link, so ten <v Speaker 1>percent off anything on the store. If you want to <v Speaker 1>try and check out Vicher glasses, I gotta tell you, <v Speaker 1>I do highly recommend them, but let me explain before <v Speaker 1>you can show them, because I think it's more interesting. Actually, no, <v Speaker 1>show me for a second, because I'm being serious with <v Speaker 1>the people. Actually show them. Now, show me again. <v Speaker 2>Show him. <v Speaker 1>So I actually had the marketing manager of CD Project <v Speaker 1>Red reach out to me. We've been getting friendly, and <v Speaker 1>he was level with me, would are the glasses worth buying? <v Speaker 2>Because he wanted to get a pair. <v Speaker 1>And what I told him is what I tell everyone, <v Speaker 1>and I tell everyone in these reads usually it's that <v Speaker 1>they are absolutely worth the money for the tech that's <v Speaker 1>in there, like the harm and audio, the sony micro <v Speaker 1>led screen, the fact that it's all happening in the glasses, <v Speaker 1>the fact that it's like four K like visuals. It <v Speaker 1>looks better in the glasses than playing handheld. It will <v Speaker 1>look better in the glasses than some TVs will look <v Speaker 1>It'll sound better than playing in handheld. It's an experience, <v Speaker 1>you know, you can take it on the go, Like <v Speaker 1>there are so many things, like the quality in the <v Speaker 1>build is worth the price, But they are a luxury item? <v Speaker 1>Is it something you need? No, Like the switch is <v Speaker 1>already portable. This switch already has a screen baked in, <v Speaker 1>Like you can already dock it. There's ways to play <v Speaker 1>your switch without the glasses. So it's obviously luxury. But <v Speaker 1>it is so good, Like it is so good, Like <v Speaker 1>it is so unbelievably good and it is absolutely worth <v Speaker 1>the price, or if you're at tech, not if you're <v Speaker 1>like a sci fi not if it's like the kind <v Speaker 1>of thing you think would be cool to have because <v Speaker 1>you like the idea of it. I promise you it's <v Speaker 1>so good. And I've been using them for so long <v Speaker 1>with no issues. They have other cool products too, like Sully's. Actually, <v Speaker 1>if you want to show the controller when you have <v Speaker 1>a second, because I know you're in the middle of <v Speaker 1>trying not to, that is their cher eight bit Do controller, <v Speaker 1>which has the blue and red switch. <v Speaker 2>And then somewhere over here, I actually be. <v Speaker 1>Cut to me, this is their other Vicher eight bit <v Speaker 1>do controller, which is themed after the special edition steam Deck. <v Speaker 1>So they have some really cool eight bit Do collaborations <v Speaker 1>as well that you can show. <v Speaker 2>This controller feels really nice, you know. <v Speaker 3>Until you said that, I honestly thought. <v Speaker 7>I was. <v Speaker 1>Really hoping that you would get through this section. But <v Speaker 1>I think we are going to how long is the <v Speaker 1>How long have I been going here? <v Speaker 7>For? <v Speaker 2>God what I'm done? <v Speaker 1>But you know what, that's a pretty long time. So <v Speaker 1>I'll let these boys decide when they want to call it. <v Speaker 1>But I think I went through everything, and thank you <v Speaker 1>so much Vicher for sponsoring this episode of the show. <v Speaker 1>I've been working with Vicher for a very long time now. <v Speaker 1>I actually discovered their product on my own and made <v Speaker 1>a video about it on switch one about how much <v Speaker 1>I liked the glasses, and then they reached out and <v Speaker 1>they were like, hey, thank you so much for the video. <v Speaker 1>We'd love to send you some product and if you'd <v Speaker 1>like to work with us moving forward, And that's how <v Speaker 1>we actually started our collaboration. I work with them directly. <v Speaker 1>It's not through a management company. I email them directly. <v Speaker 1>They're just they're fantastic people. Actually, they're so nice that <v Speaker 1>now I'm just gassing them up. But the contact I <v Speaker 1>have sent me a or sent me in Kim a <v Speaker 1>baby package when. <v Speaker 2>We had our boy. <v Speaker 1>She sent some little gummies, little snacks and a little <v Speaker 1>outfit for him to wear, and it was a really <v Speaker 1>high quality outfit. <v Speaker 4>It was really nice. So they're just really nice people. <v Speaker 4>I really enjoy working with them immensely. One last, if <v Speaker 4>you can share my screen, this is my video and <v Speaker 4>beat them ups. And I just wanted to kind of <v Speaker 4>give you a look at like kind of the simulation <v Speaker 4>that my editor and I try and do for like <v Speaker 4>what you're kind of seeing and this is kind of it. <v Speaker 4>Like it's a screen floating wherever you look in the <v Speaker 4>middle of the room, either fixed or like moving with <v Speaker 4>your head, depending on how you like it. <v Speaker 1>And you know, I took it to the park. I <v Speaker 1>play in my room, I play. I play in bed <v Speaker 1>as well. <v Speaker 2>I play. <v Speaker 1>But that's kind of the experience that you're gonna get. Okay, sorry, <v Speaker 1>I'm done. If you guys are done, I'm. <v Speaker 3>Done, right, I think we're good. Yeah, I got the <v Speaker 3>screwdriver finally. <v Speaker 2>Oh really? <v Speaker 1>Oh do you have it in your hand right now? <v Speaker 1>Run back to the horse. Run back to the horse. <v Speaker 1>How do I take it out? Actually no, you have <v Speaker 1>to run back to the starting room. You don't take <v Speaker 1>it out. Run back to the room I started you in, <v Speaker 1>whether where you picked up the lighter and use it <v Speaker 1>on the fuse box and get the fuse Well. <v Speaker 2>How do I know if I have it though? Because <v Speaker 2>I opened the toolbox. You have to you have it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's it's it's not something you can hold, it's <v Speaker 1>something that you'll use. Back to there into that room <v Speaker 1>and then use it on the fuse box. <v Speaker 2>I'm sorry, we're actually we're out. Of the read now. <v Speaker 4>But I want to know if they can beat this <v Speaker 4>part of the game to the red room with the horse. Yeah, no, no, no, <v Speaker 4>so go yeah, keep going there. We're gonna go back <v Speaker 4>to the room we just came from. <v Speaker 2>Which is I think is like the second door on <v Speaker 2>the right, down the hallway. Turn the right, to the right, <v Speaker 2>the right, go the right. Brother, Oh, this might not <v Speaker 2>be it. We're okay, all right. Did you get eaten? <v Speaker 2>We got fairly injured. You might get eating here in <v Speaker 2>a second. We got it. We got to get back <v Speaker 2>to the shop. <v Speaker 4>So you guys, unless you're like I'm here, I'm here, <v Speaker 4>you're in the you're in the fuse box. <v Speaker 1>Yes, okay, open the fuse box. I just want to know, <v Speaker 1>and I need to know if they can do it. <v Speaker 2>Where's the where's the fuse box? Right here? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, and then click on it and then it bring <v Speaker 1>up like your items, screwdriver, Grab the fuse. The lights <v Speaker 1>are gonna go out, okay, and then you're gonna run <v Speaker 1>out of that room towards the horse and then to <v Speaker 1>the left and you'll see a gate. <v Speaker 2>There's a cut scene, cut scene, cut scene. Oh god, <v Speaker 2>here it comes. She even said, oh my God, to <v Speaker 2>run one back towards the horse down to the left, <v Speaker 2>the right, right you sure, yeah, so the horses horse <v Speaker 2>and then turn left and then there'd be a fuse <v Speaker 2>box down there. You've got to put that in the <v Speaker 2>fuse box. <v Speaker 4>All right, it's opening, it's opening, Come home, get out <v Speaker 4>of there. What a How do they come up with <v Speaker 4>this type of horror stuff? I don't know, but I <v Speaker 4>love that game so much. It's it's just fun watching <v Speaker 4>your reaction to it too, like the thing I really love. <v Speaker 4>I know we're out of the read now, but saw <v Speaker 4>these glasses. They really perfected like the form of it. <v Speaker 4>It just looks like actually cool glass. These are these <v Speaker 4>are ten out of ten. I'm definitely going to be <v Speaker 4>you can have one of my older pairs. Oh no way, <v Speaker 4>although you want to be able to use it own, well, no, <v Speaker 4>I have other docs. I can probably give you another <v Speaker 4>doc to. <v Speaker 2>Are you done? Yeah? <v Speaker 4>Okay? <v Speaker 2>Cool? All right? Thank you, Thank you for that, guys, <v Speaker 2>thank you for that chat. <v Speaker 1>I know that was a longer read, but I told <v Speaker 1>it would be really fun if I had the boys <v Speaker 1>try and play the game. These are to me, So <v Speaker 1>it took a little longer than I thought. It would, <v Speaker 1>but I hope you enjoyed it. <v Speaker 2>Cool. <v Speaker 4>I did. <v Speaker 2>That was like the best thing that I've done all week. Honestly, <v Speaker 2>they're really cool on that, they really are. I I <v Speaker 2>don't know. <v Speaker 1>I'm still in two minds about it. If it would <v Speaker 1>have been better if they could see. I feel like <v Speaker 1>they see for sure. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, for the gameplay perhaps, but like to get the <v Speaker 4>actual visual. <v Speaker 1>I said to er was it's kind of cool because <v Speaker 1>like the whole idea is it's covert, so like people <v Speaker 1>don't know you're playing a game. Yeah, and like people <v Speaker 1>watching they could see just like if you were on <v Speaker 1>like a bus or a train or a plane. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>as long as you want yelling and screaming, like they <v Speaker 1>wouldn't know you were playing a game. <v Speaker 2>It's all. <v Speaker 1>It just looks like you're wearing glasses. That was my <v Speaker 1>idea for the spot. Yeah, yeah, the idea so that <v Speaker 1>that that chat could see was a last second thing. <v Speaker 1>And yeah, where it was like I don't know, it <v Speaker 1>doesn't matter, but it was like you had to daisy <v Speaker 1>chain the switch to A to A to a different <v Speaker 1>DOC to go into a HDM. I split a that <v Speaker 1>split to the TV and then back to you guys, <v Speaker 1>and it just wouldn't Yeah, it just wouldn't work, all right, Copia. <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna get back on track, per Copia. So Kim <v Speaker 1>and I were playing it four hours last night. We <v Speaker 1>made a little night out of it. <v Speaker 4>I cleaned the basement, I got everything ready, we got snatch, <v Speaker 4>we ordered dinner. <v Speaker 2>It was fun. We had a little date night. <v Speaker 3>Did you guys play on one console or did you <v Speaker 3>guys both play on your separate consoles? <v Speaker 2>We played on separate nice. <v Speaker 1>Actually, if you could pass me my switchback, I can <v Speaker 1>bring up my island if people want to see. I <v Speaker 1>keep calling it island like it's animal crossing, But that's <v Speaker 1>the thing. It's very animal crossing code. <v Speaker 2>So does everybody have their own unique island? <v Speaker 3>Like if you were to jump into someone else's game, <v Speaker 3>would it looked different than yours? <v Speaker 4>No, I don't think so, because Kim and I look <v Speaker 4>exactly the same, which I actually kind of liked because <v Speaker 4>it's very much a tailored experience. Because I was wondering, <v Speaker 4>could you pass me that controller? I was wondering how <v Speaker 4>it would work, because like it's very Minecraft coded as well. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, and Minecraft obviously you start a new world and <v Speaker 2>you you have a different, like randomized world. Yeah. This, <v Speaker 2>I'm pretty sure it is all like a tailored experience basically. Okay, <v Speaker 2>so can you show my screen? <v Speaker 1>I should hopefully be on my switch unless we messed <v Speaker 1>everything up when I was trying to get VICHA to work. Okay, <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna load up my island and god, I did <v Speaker 1>it again and we're going to have it is an island. <v Speaker 1>There are some things in this game that are straight <v Speaker 1>out of animal crossing even terminology. Like maybe it's just <v Speaker 1>what you call them, but like when you find a <v Speaker 1>new like DIY like item to like craft something, they <v Speaker 1>call it a recipe which they call it, and then <v Speaker 1>you go to a crafting table and you whip it <v Speaker 1>all the Pokemon center here. Yes, so a little bit <v Speaker 1>of a loaf. I feel like I always need to <v Speaker 1>mention this. The HDMI Splitter courses a low frame rate. <v Speaker 1>It's not passing through the full frame rate very well. <v Speaker 4>Did you customize your characters it's like a default. No, <v Speaker 4>you can customize it a little. You can give it <v Speaker 4>a hairstyle and stuff. <v Speaker 1>So I won't give too many spoilers, but I mean <v Speaker 1>everything that I'm going to show you is you can <v Speaker 1>see it in the revealed trailer anyway, So essentially you <v Speaker 1>know you know how it works. You you come out <v Speaker 1>of here as like a Ditto clone guy. There's a <v Speaker 1>lot of law and story that happens that's pretty interesting <v Speaker 1>about why Ditto chose to be a human and why <v Speaker 1>we can interact with all the human technology. But it's <v Speaker 1>cool that you are a Pokemon because then you can <v Speaker 1>talk to all the other Pokemon different personalities. I won't <v Speaker 1>ruined too many of them. But the if you would <v Speaker 1>have guess, and they're not, I guess they're not. They're <v Speaker 1>not in this picture right now. They're somewhere else on <v Speaker 1>my in my game. But if you would have guessed <v Speaker 1>what the coolest Pokemon was personality wise, what would you guess? <v Speaker 2>And you're not going to get it coolest. It's probably <v Speaker 2>gonna be something unique, like maybe Tangla. That's interesting. <v Speaker 1>So in my opinion so far, it's Magic Cup, really <v Speaker 1>Magic the most boring Pokemon. Everything he says is like yo, man, <v Speaker 1>he's a lot of like yo yo. <v Speaker 2>You go. That's so he's really cool. <v Speaker 1>And then a lot of them are just really sweet <v Speaker 1>and they like they talk to each other like I <v Speaker 1>think I can't remember who it was if it was <v Speaker 1>like Bubbles or my Charmander, but I caught them talking <v Speaker 1>like they are like, Charmander is to hoot, hoot right now. <v Speaker 1>And I talked to Bobaso and he was like, I'm <v Speaker 1>really liking this Charmander. <v Speaker 2>We're getting along really well. It's just cute. <v Speaker 1>So you start the game and you don't have any Pokemon, <v Speaker 1>and then like grass starts rustling, and then you get <v Speaker 1>the I think bulbosa first, which allows you to make <v Speaker 1>more grass. So let me show you an example. I <v Speaker 1>can't actually see my abilities here, so okay, good, but <v Speaker 1>on grass. So if I go over to like a patch, <v Speaker 1>I need to find a patch that doesn't have grass <v Speaker 1>next to it already. I'm like here right, So if <v Speaker 1>I make a patch of four, it's going to create <v Speaker 1>a habitat. And that habitat can either be for one <v Speaker 1>of the Pokemon I have. See it's a habitat now, <v Speaker 1>so live in that habitat, or if it's an open space, <v Speaker 1>you might come by one day and see it rustling <v Speaker 1>and find a new Pokemon, which is really cool. <v Speaker 2>So that's how you find pokemon. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, and there are so many different kinds of habitats, <v Speaker 1>like I don't want to give too many away. These <v Speaker 1>are all early game ones. This is the very first <v Speaker 1>area of the game. This is actually a habitat. So <v Speaker 1>the seat, the table, and the plate. If I put <v Speaker 1>a apple on it, it becomes a habitat that will <v Speaker 1>attract a pokemon like Gulpen. So once it did, this <v Speaker 1>actually became his habitat. Actually this is actually his, and <v Speaker 1>it's kind of like, I don't use it anymore because <v Speaker 1>that's now where Goulpen is. Yeah right, so but you <v Speaker 1>can also if you want to move them. I built <v Speaker 1>this and I gave this to my Bulbersa. <v Speaker 2>You can go inside. <v Speaker 1>So this is I made this. I moved Bulbersol out <v Speaker 1>of his little grass patch into here, So this is <v Speaker 1>Bulbosaur's house. <v Speaker 2>He's got some little toy blocks like a ruby and emerald. Yeah. <v Speaker 4>Oh that's yeah, that's good, like the hidden bases hidden bases. Yeah, <v Speaker 4>that's cool. <v Speaker 2>So it's really cute. <v Speaker 1>And then I have two more habitats that are waiting <v Speaker 1>to be built, but I haven't done them yet because <v Speaker 1>I need to have these pokemon come over here and <v Speaker 1>build them, and I just haven't done that yet. They've <v Speaker 1>been busy building me something which I won't well, if <v Speaker 1>you see it, you see it, but I won't show <v Speaker 1>you it. <v Speaker 2>I don't want to give any spoilers. <v Speaker 4>I did see that, Like it takes like actual like <v Speaker 4>real time for these, yeah built right, so like those. <v Speaker 1>When I built that little hot it was like seven <v Speaker 1>thirty and it said this will be finished at eight <v Speaker 1>forty five pm. <v Speaker 2>Wow, yeah, really like real time. Yeah oh wow. <v Speaker 1>And then when I built my big thing, it said <v Speaker 1>this will be ready tomorrow. Okay, so I don't know <v Speaker 1>what that meant exactly, but when I woke up today <v Speaker 1>and checked, they were all done and ready to shell that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 3>So so it kind of like forces you to like <v Speaker 3>come back every day to see your like, yeah, your progress. <v Speaker 1>I haven't had a chance to play today. I'm gonna <v Speaker 1>make this water basin just so you can see me <v Speaker 1>crafting something. But it's very like Animal Crossing, you know. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, look at that first one. <v Speaker 1>So I would describe this game very much as Animal <v Speaker 1>Crossing meets Minecraft meets Pokemon. <v Speaker 3>So the Minecraft the world looks very much like Minecraft <v Speaker 3>the way like you have the the. <v Speaker 1>Dirt blocks and yeah, very like pixelated Dragon Quest builders too, right, Yeah, also, <v Speaker 1>so that's more. I would actually say it's more like <v Speaker 1>dragon Quests Builders than Minecraft, but Dragon Quat Builders is <v Speaker 1>a bit more niche, and people don't really have a <v Speaker 1>reference point for it, so it's just easier to say Minecraft. <v Speaker 1>It's pixelated. I don't think that's because of Minecraft per se. <v Speaker 1>I think it's because it's really trying to mimic a <v Speaker 1>three D version of the old eight bit art style, <v Speaker 1>which yeah, so like when the level I mean mine <v Speaker 1>very like dilapidated, but when it's built out, it kind <v Speaker 1>of looks like a nicer version of like the older games. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>so I think that's what they were going for, and <v Speaker 1>as a happy accident, it ended up looking a lot <v Speaker 1>like Minecraft. And then each of the blocks are like <v Speaker 1>their own kind of blocks, and there's some that I <v Speaker 1>can mine right now, and I can't. I won't show <v Speaker 1>you how because I don't want to give too many spoilers, <v Speaker 1>as I said, but you can mine down. You can <v Speaker 1>even like place blocks directly under you and like stack <v Speaker 1>just like in Minecraft. So it does feel very Minecraft. <v Speaker 2>Are the night and day times of changes like based <v Speaker 2>off of real life? <v Speaker 1>I don't think so, because I was playing last night, <v Speaker 1>and I'm pretty sure it was daytime in my game, <v Speaker 1>but chat chat let me know, because I guess that <v Speaker 1>would make sense. <v Speaker 2>I feel like that would kind of because if you <v Speaker 2>only play at night, you're only going to ever experience <v Speaker 2>it at night unless you change. That's how Animal Crossing was. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, but yeah, I mean there's other elements, like like <v Speaker 1>charm Million has a quest for me right now, that's <v Speaker 1>what that means. But if I could talk to any <v Speaker 1>of them and be like, hey, do you need anything, <v Speaker 1>and they'll tell me what they need to have, like <v Speaker 1>their like happiness improved, and then the more that they're <v Speaker 1>all happy and comfortable, the more levels you go up <v Speaker 1>for your town. And then the more levels you go up, <v Speaker 1>the more access you have to things in the shop <v Speaker 1>and in the PC. <v Speaker 3>Nice do you have like a Polka Dex that like <v Speaker 3>tells you how many Pokemon you've interacted with? <v Speaker 1>Or yes, there's a Polka decks and there's also a <v Speaker 1>habitat decks all the different kinds of habitats and each <v Speaker 1>habitat has different Pokemon. <v Speaker 2>That was so excited to play this. <v Speaker 1>It's really really good, Like I'm gonna level with you guys. <v Speaker 1>It's awesome, And there's so many like little things and <v Speaker 1>little surprises and little like oh, that's a thing you <v Speaker 1>can do in this game. Like you'll walk by like <v Speaker 1>a puddle of water and there'll be something in it <v Speaker 1>and you can dive in and you can like try <v Speaker 1>and spam a and get something good like here, we <v Speaker 1>can try it on this one. But there's so many <v Speaker 1>little things like this where I'm like, oh, that you <v Speaker 1>can do, or like sometimes you'll find an item and <v Speaker 1>you can give it to the Tangler whatever his name is, <v Speaker 1>and he'll like appraise it and turn it into something <v Speaker 1>like And I'm telling you, it just keeps going and <v Speaker 1>going and going with all these like little things you <v Speaker 1>can do. And then there's also like this mystery that <v Speaker 1>I again I don't want to show you too much, <v Speaker 1>but like beyond this building here and then beyond like <v Speaker 1>those cliffs there, there's some actual like remnants and structures <v Speaker 1>of when humans were here, and the story is like <v Speaker 1>what happened to the humans? Yea and Kim and I <v Speaker 1>have been exploring and finding why they're rebuilding Pokemon centers. <v Speaker 1>So we're rebuilding, so me and this guy are rebuilding <v Speaker 1>things because one it's bringing Pokemon back because he hadn't <v Speaker 1>seen any Pokemon until we showed up. And then two <v Speaker 1>we're hoping to bring the humans back. But I don't <v Speaker 1>know what's going to happen with that yet. <v Speaker 3>Interesting, So is there like is it like open world <v Speaker 3>in the sense where it's like infinite or like, do <v Speaker 3>you I it's like a. <v Speaker 1>Again four hours so I don't know. But if you <v Speaker 1>come up here, you can see something down there. Haven't <v Speaker 1>gone down there yet. <v Speaker 2>Oh yeah. <v Speaker 1>I tried going up there and to the very back <v Speaker 1>of up there and I hit fog and it said <v Speaker 1>you can't go any further. And I don't know if <v Speaker 1>it means right now or at all. I haven't really <v Speaker 1>like got that far in yet, but yeah, it's I <v Speaker 1>don't know. I don't know what else I can say <v Speaker 1>without giving too many spoilers. I don't want to get <v Speaker 1>into too much because shiny So I said to Kim, <v Speaker 1>I was like, every time I play Pokemon game, I'm like, oh, yeah, Shinyes, <v Speaker 1>I always forget. I haven't found any I don't know <v Speaker 1>if they're in the game. I'm assuming they are. <v Speaker 2>How many Pokemon do they have? Have they like? <v Speaker 4>I don't know that either. That I'm kind of like, <v Speaker 4>I kind of don't want to know either, because I'm <v Speaker 4>seeing like different generations here too. <v Speaker 3>I saw like because it might be a mix of <v Speaker 3>just different generations, but obviously not all one thousand some posts. <v Speaker 2>No, no, I would not expect that. I'm sure you're <v Speaker 2>something cool though. <v Speaker 4>Let's see, I actually have a security camera here, so <v Speaker 4>if I'm like away and I want to check in <v Speaker 4>on my guys, I can check my security cameras going <v Speaker 4>on is. <v Speaker 1>Trying to light up bulbs? Yeah, and then you actually <v Speaker 1>can you can take pictures too. I don't remember what <v Speaker 1>the button is for that right now, and I can <v Speaker 1>only see half of my screen, but there's a button <v Speaker 1>to bring out there. You go nice, and then you <v Speaker 1>can kind of tone it into Pokemon snap and you <v Speaker 1>can change change the frames and the real Pokemon. <v Speaker 3>Imagine the thumbnails you can make. If you're a content <v Speaker 3>creator with this. <v Speaker 1>Well, I like it because you can actually remove all <v Speaker 1>of the UI from this. <v Speaker 2>So when I do my video, here we go video <v Speaker 2>super clean. <v Speaker 3>Oh yeah, and the way you edit it is really <v Speaker 3>cool because I was watching your video from yesterday. You <v Speaker 3>put the drop shadows on the characters. It looks like <v Speaker 3>you're really in the world. <v Speaker 4>That's my editor, Zach is going really nuts with the <v Speaker 4>edits recently, and we've kind of this is off topic, <v Speaker 4>but we kind of made the conscious decision of like, <v Speaker 4>let's try not like as soon as something drops like <v Speaker 4>winds and waves, just getting in front of my camera <v Speaker 4>in my game room and yelling into a microphone like. <v Speaker 2>Oh my god, it's so good. <v Speaker 1>Let's actually take time, write a script of some kind, <v Speaker 1>shoot it on green screen, and over edit it, and <v Speaker 1>then put out a reaction video that's a video that <v Speaker 1>people can go back and watch whenever. And this was <v Speaker 1>a test because we put it out yesterday and it's <v Speaker 1>almost been a week, and it blew up and everyone's. <v Speaker 2>Like you you you definitely have like that that interesting, <v Speaker 2>like people have that interest in you to see your <v Speaker 2>opinions on Pokemon. <v Speaker 1>Well, also I have a starried past with Pokemon, so <v Speaker 1>people are curious. I mean, if you watch the podcast, <v Speaker 1>you would have gotten an early sneak peak of what <v Speaker 1>I thought, which is that it's awesome. But apparently an <v Speaker 1>odd half a million people were invested on Beat Them <v Speaker 1>Ups to find out what I thought. It'd be crazy <v Speaker 1>if I was like I still don't like it, Like, yeah, <v Speaker 1>I don't like it still, it's still kind of mid. No, <v Speaker 1>it's I'm really excited. And that's what I'm I'm saying too, <v Speaker 1>is like right now, I am loving poke Pea. I <v Speaker 1>love this idea. I think they hit the nail on <v Speaker 1>the head with it, and it's it. It feels like <v Speaker 1>the quality of it, the visuals, the frame rates when <v Speaker 1>it's not being tanked by the and just the amount <v Speaker 1>of content that seems to be here. When I first <v Speaker 1>heard seventy, I was like, that's a lot. But then <v Speaker 1>you think, like seventy dollars, But then you think about <v Speaker 1>games like Animal Crossing and it's like, man, I played <v Speaker 1>that game for like four hundred hours. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, you're getting your money, So. <v Speaker 1>You know, one hand, you look at the visuals and <v Speaker 1>you're almost like, is this a seven long game? But <v Speaker 1>when you think about the time you invest, yeah, it's <v Speaker 1>like I think I actually will get seventy dollars a <v Speaker 1>value out of this official like, I'm gonna play this <v Speaker 1>a lot. <v Speaker 4>Yeah. I did see that there's also like limited times <v Speaker 4>events for this game. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think on the tenth that doing an in game. <v Speaker 4>A certain Pokemon appear and then like once that's over, <v Speaker 4>they're like, oh, you can't see him anymore after that. <v Speaker 2>That's also really cool. <v Speaker 3>I would love to see like Niantic at some point <v Speaker 3>maybe if they collabed with like the developers of this, <v Speaker 3>like whoever made this alongside game Freak, to make like <v Speaker 3>a mobile game of this at some point, I think <v Speaker 3>correct that would be interesting. Like have you ever played <v Speaker 3>Animal Crossing Pocket Camp? <v Speaker 4>No? <v Speaker 2>But like Minecraft is on phones and stuff too. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, but Animal Crossing Pocket Camp was so such a <v Speaker 3>good game out of like all the intents. <v Speaker 1>Actually have played that. I don't know why I said no, Yeah, <v Speaker 1>not like extensively, but I played it extensively. <v Speaker 3>I was religiously addicted to it because it was like <v Speaker 3>just always on me, you know, every a few hours. <v Speaker 3>Did they bring it to switch in the end, they didn't, <v Speaker 3>but they did release like a comprehensive version with like <v Speaker 3>all the deals. <v Speaker 2>That's what I mean. Isn't that what that is? But <v Speaker 2>it's it's still on mobile only. <v Speaker 4>Stopped. I think that's that's what it was, because they <v Speaker 4>stopping support for it, so they were like, let's just <v Speaker 4>put it all out here for now. Yeah, I just <v Speaker 4>triple check. Yeah, The developers for this were game for <v Speaker 4>Again and Corey Tech. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, of course I was Corey Tech Moon. <v Speaker 1>Some people were saying like, of course the best Pokemon <v Speaker 1>game isn't made by games, but no, it was. I <v Speaker 1>mean helped them, which is good. It's good, like I <v Speaker 1>love game for getting help, get help. But apparently the <v Speaker 1>creator of I think the creator of Pokemon. I think <v Speaker 1>I'm not speaking out of Ton. This was actually his idea. <v Speaker 1>He had this idea and then came obviously to Koe <v Speaker 1>and was like, hey, do you want to co develop <v Speaker 1>this with us? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, so it was actually Pokemon's I need a Pokemon <v Speaker 2>ex capcom you know, call out. There is so much <v Speaker 2>more of the game. <v Speaker 1>I could run around, but the fun is exploring, especially <v Speaker 1>because like, I'm fine showing you this even though there's <v Speaker 1>a lot of Pokemon here. I apologize, but this is <v Speaker 1>the very first you walk out, and you're right here. <v Speaker 1>I don't want to ruin the adventure for anybody else. <v Speaker 1>So I think this is where I'll call it on <v Speaker 1>my gameplay. But I gotta tell you it's I sense <v Speaker 1>for the rating. You know that you think so far? Yeah, No, <v Speaker 1>I think it's I mean, I'm feeling nine out of ten. <v Speaker 1>Just the quality, the polish, how much stuff there is <v Speaker 1>to do, the personality, the charm. It really does feel <v Speaker 1>like a new Animal crossing with a Pokemon like flare <v Speaker 1>and a Minecraft skin. And it is also like it's <v Speaker 1>giving me a Dragon Quest Builder vibes of like when <v Speaker 1>that game came out, was at a time where I <v Speaker 1>was kind of like I was loving the Switch, but <v Speaker 1>I was looking for more, and then that game gave <v Speaker 1>me so many hours of content. I'm seeing that here. <v Speaker 1>It's also like right on the back of me kind <v Speaker 1>of being like bummed out by a lot of like <v Speaker 1>Nintendo's offerings from the last like eight months getting this <v Speaker 1>game and this, I mean, what am I comparing it <v Speaker 1>to Mario? I would put this up there with Donkey <v Speaker 1>Kong Bonanza for me. So far, so like Switch must <v Speaker 1>Have really loving I think so right now, I'm definitely <v Speaker 1>in a Switch must have. I mean, on on Metacritic <v Speaker 1>when it was ninety, I think it had the must <v Speaker 1>have symbol, and then when it dropped to eighty eight, <v Speaker 1>I think it lost it. <v Speaker 2>Unfortunately. Thanks for the gamer, right, but. <v Speaker 1>No, I'm very impressed, very happy, and it's just really <v Speaker 1>a really cool moment, I think, because we have this <v Speaker 1>which I'm loving, and the Winds and Waves news which <v Speaker 1>I'm loving, and everyone's back and playing with fire red <v Speaker 1>Leaf Green, like yeah, fire red leaf Green. But then <v Speaker 1>also the Resident Evil and like being so impressed and <v Speaker 1>excited by what the Switch can do now, and then <v Speaker 1>just thinking about like, you know, we have a lot <v Speaker 1>of we know all about a lot from third parties. <v Speaker 1>But as soon as Nintendo drops that big direct and <v Speaker 1>actually tells us their plans, yeah, yeah, we're a good spot. <v Speaker 1>I mean, I'm getting excited. Yeah. It's funny because that <v Speaker 1>video I made was very tongue in cheek, like the <v Speaker 1>one where I was kind of being I wanted to <v Speaker 1>be like, here the things I'm critical about, and I'm <v Speaker 1>gonna make it funny. Some people read into it and <v Speaker 1>thought that I was really complaining and thought the Switch <v Speaker 1>was doomed, which was never my idea. But it was <v Speaker 1>me being like, hey, some of these things on that <v Speaker 1>great right now, and I'm kind of just like middling around, <v Speaker 1>and then all of a sudden it was Resident Evil, Pokopa, <v Speaker 1>Winds and Waves, and it's like, oh okay, here we <v Speaker 1>are back in the groove. <v Speaker 4>So that's awesome. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'm really really liking it all right. I can't <v Speaker 1>wait for you guys to play it. <v Speaker 4>I got mine physically today. I went to best Buy. <v Speaker 4>I also got the oh yeah, yeah. <v Speaker 2>Yet, but it looks really cool. You got Ditto on <v Speaker 2>one set? Did you get the dealers? <v Speaker 4>Did you get the in game in game rug thing <v Speaker 4>that we saw that's what you get with it, right, <v Speaker 4>so we get that too. <v Speaker 2>I don't think I on it. <v Speaker 4>I know that you get the physical one from Pokemon Center, <v Speaker 4>the physically like little Ditto one. My friend got that, <v Speaker 4>but I only I got the tote bag. So but no, <v Speaker 4>I'm excited to play this tomorrow, tonight and tomorrow. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'm excited to hear you guys just thoughts on <v Speaker 1>I am. I hope you guys like it. I feel <v Speaker 1>like you will. I mean, how do you guys feel <v Speaker 1>about Animal Crossing? I love the Animal cross Oh yeah, <v Speaker 1>that's it. <v Speaker 4>Then you're gonna love that carried like the first like <v Speaker 4>during like the first couple months of the pandemic, that <v Speaker 4>was all I would play was just Animal Crossing and this, <v Speaker 4>Like I I told you guys too, I was really <v Speaker 4>like not going looking forward to buying this just because <v Speaker 4>I was just like, well, yeah, price point, uh, game <v Speaker 4>key card like all that, but like the more like <v Speaker 4>I looked at it, I was like, you know what, <v Speaker 4>I've enjoyed Pokemon for so long that, like I have <v Speaker 4>played the spinoffs, but like to see something like this <v Speaker 4>where it's like, yeah, it's very cozy, it's very animal <v Speaker 4>crossing vibes, but like how much it works and how <v Speaker 4>much like yeah, like you know, interact with the Pokemon <v Speaker 4>and the stuff you can do with it, and you <v Speaker 4>know the lower implications and all that too, but like <v Speaker 4>just seeing how it looks on the switch, I think, yeah, <v Speaker 4>is enough for me, Like all right, let's I really <v Speaker 4>want to give it a try on. Excited to see <v Speaker 4>what people are enjoying about it. So him also, I <v Speaker 4>should say I was gonna. I suggested to her that <v Speaker 4>she could call in, but I'll save it for my video. <v Speaker 4>She's in love with it, like she was again today <v Speaker 4>like I had to get ready for the podcast and <v Speaker 4>walk out and stuff, and she was playing like all <v Speaker 4>day on the couch. <v Speaker 2>She was just glued to it. So she's loving it. <v Speaker 1>I think she had a funny quote and I told <v Speaker 1>her to write it down because we were just playing <v Speaker 1>last night and randomly she goes, oh my god, this <v Speaker 1>is like Minecraft but not s h I t. <v Speaker 2>I was like, okay, well Minecraft is pretty good. Yeah yeah, <v Speaker 2>but yeah she was. <v Speaker 1>She was loving it. And the Minecraft elements too. They're <v Speaker 1>very light, so like, don't look at the game and <v Speaker 1>think like, oh my god, I can't build it. <v Speaker 2>I can't blah blah black Craft. It's very light, and. <v Speaker 1>Like I built I don't want to give This is <v Speaker 1>for people that like unsure I built a big house. <v Speaker 1>You kind of just like PLoP it down, like here's <v Speaker 1>where I want it, and then the Pokemon build it. <v Speaker 1>So there are a lot of things that like are <v Speaker 1>actual structures that get built, and then there are things <v Speaker 1>that you can build. But I haven't really got into <v Speaker 1>any of that yet. Kim today she was like leveling <v Speaker 1>out and clearing her area because she loves that stuff, <v Speaker 1>and I was like, I wait to do that. <v Speaker 2>I wait until I have all the items and abilities <v Speaker 2>and like I know what I want to build. But <v Speaker 2>she's like, I can't stand the mess. Yeah, and I'm like, OK, <v Speaker 2>I get it. I see that. <v Speaker 4>I'm reading the chat real quick, and they're saying that <v Speaker 4>you do get the rug like from the PC. I <v Speaker 4>think it's like mister the mystery gift item. Oh I <v Speaker 4>think you get it? Yeah, okay, that makes sense. <v Speaker 2>Chat. What do you guys think of the game? Actually? <v Speaker 2>Could you do? Could you do a poll? <v Speaker 7>Uh? <v Speaker 2>If I were able to? I don't think I can. <v Speaker 2>Oh really you? <v Speaker 1>If Pat's still here, he could do a poll out <v Speaker 1>there because it's brought up. I just wanted to do <v Speaker 1>vibes on Polkapedia or like first Impressions Pokapedia and just <v Speaker 1>do like amazing, good, just do I can't. If you <v Speaker 1>can do it out there, Pat, great, If not, it's <v Speaker 1>completely fine. <v Speaker 2>I could. <v Speaker 1>I think I heard you say something, but it was <v Speaker 1>very like quiet, okay, nice, thank you? Did you come <v Speaker 1>through just then so they could hear it when you talk? <v Speaker 1>I like them to hear it otherwise I look insane. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I look. I watched it back and it looks <v Speaker 2>like I'm talking to note. <v Speaker 4>C the glasses. Yeah, real quick too. Just to clarify again, <v Speaker 4>these figures look awesome. Yeah. I see so many comments saying, <v Speaker 4>how do you guys get the They look really good. <v Speaker 4>The shout yeah, shot, what's your friend's name? Nintan Cisco. <v Speaker 4>You actually you actually met him once years ago. Here <v Speaker 4>we go, so he and you know, he probably loves <v Speaker 4>me telling this is like above the wolf story again, <v Speaker 4>so he I think it was you guys say wolf <v Speaker 4>for wolf, just the way I said bubb with the Wolf, <v Speaker 4>like that's his official title. So so yeah, he I <v Speaker 4>think it was at Retropalooza years ago. Uh he had <v Speaker 4>you signed Cubert three times? I don't know if you <v Speaker 4>remember that. No, Okay, it was it was any first <v Speaker 4>just had he just kept walking up to be like, hey, could. <v Speaker 2>You sign this? <v Speaker 1>I think maybe like a vague but that. Yeah, I <v Speaker 1>haven't got like a like I don't know, like eight <v Speaker 1>years or something. <v Speaker 2>So it was a while ago. <v Speaker 4>Yeah. So yeah, but he's like he's the one who <v Speaker 4>made this. He has his own three D printer pol guys, <v Speaker 4>Oh thank you, Pat. Yeah, do a vote. I'd love <v Speaker 4>to know. <v Speaker 1>I'm assuming I mean, if you guys, I mean it <v Speaker 1>came out today, so I don't know many people I can't. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I'm not going to have a chance, but I'm assuming it. <v Speaker 1>If anyone is being honest and they've played it, we're <v Speaker 1>gonna get a little goods and amazing. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, amazing. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's honestly surprise banger. Yeah, surprise bang. That's cool <v Speaker 1>for something that, like I was kind of looking at <v Speaker 1>it and Tomadocci Life as like two cozy games like <v Speaker 1>Life sim games that like I might mess around with. <v Speaker 2>Adacci comes out next month. <v Speaker 1>Yeah yeah, and I'm like I was kind of like, well, <v Speaker 1>I hope I like him, Like I didn't really know. <v Speaker 1>It definitely shifted once I started. <v Speaker 2>Seeing the reviews and hearing like, you know, three years, <v Speaker 2>Oh my god, I think I am. I'm going to <v Speaker 2>do a play on I'm gonna add you guys in. <v Speaker 4>You know, please do Yeah, that'd be awesome. A friend <v Speaker 4>of the show, Liz the Last, got invited to New <v Speaker 4>York to play it early, like a month ago the <v Speaker 4>other one, and so like the last week or so, <v Speaker 4>she's been able to talk about it, and she was <v Speaker 4>telling me how good it was, and so I was <v Speaker 4>like okay, And then like once Kim was in, I <v Speaker 4>was like, I love playing games with Kim. <v Speaker 2>You know what it is too. <v Speaker 4>I think that like the last couple of spinoff Pokemon games, <v Speaker 4>we've gone on the switch. I think I've been like <v Speaker 4>what new Pokemon Snap and Mystery Dungeon. I think it <v Speaker 4>was like one other things, but I feel like it's <v Speaker 4>just because like I wasn't really invested in those that <v Speaker 4>was a little more hesitant about buying this. Yeah, but <v Speaker 4>like you said, i'veter seen so many people talk about it, <v Speaker 4>seeing the reviews and just like really liking the style <v Speaker 4>of it. Like that's a great point because usually you <v Speaker 4>see spinoffs and you're kind of hesitant and you kind <v Speaker 4>of assume even if you like it, it's like a <v Speaker 4>off shoot light. It's like it's okay, yeah, this is <v Speaker 4>It's been rated as the best Pokemon game. Honestly, it's <v Speaker 4>its own thing, and I honestly like it as much <v Speaker 4>a main title release of anything. And I do, I <v Speaker 4>do think I like, I mean, I love it more <v Speaker 4>than I've enjoyed any Pokemon since I was a kid. <v Speaker 5>Wow. <v Speaker 3>Like, I think it's probably just like the animal crossing <v Speaker 3>vibes with the Pokemon. <v Speaker 1>It's not because you're like you're not playing it and <v Speaker 1>thinking to yourself, hell, yeah, I'm back in Pokemon. It's <v Speaker 1>more like you have this animal cross it's kind of <v Speaker 1>like I have a new animal crossing. But with the <v Speaker 1>nostalgia of Pokemon and the fun of like I'm trying <v Speaker 1>to build this thing. I'm trying to craft a little guy. <v Speaker 1>And then you hear like a little shuffling and you're <v Speaker 1>like new Pokemon and you just go and you like <v Speaker 1>you check it. And also it's so cute because the <v Speaker 1>other Pokemon will run over as well and they'll start <v Speaker 1>staring at it, and that's so it's like and they'll <v Speaker 1>be saying, like, someone's here, someone new, and like you <v Speaker 1>run over and you're like, you go see them. It's <v Speaker 1>also there's so many cute things. Sorry, this is a <v Speaker 1>slight spoiler, and if you care, it's tiny. But at <v Speaker 1>some point Bobosore is like, hey, you want to play <v Speaker 1>jump rope and so he uses his vibe And as <v Speaker 1>I got up, like more and more, it's like the <v Speaker 1>higher numbers Pokemon started coming to watch and they were like, oh, <v Speaker 1>you're doing so good. <v Speaker 4>It's just it's adorable New York Street Show. It's just right, Oh, <v Speaker 4>that's so cool. I'm looking forward to this, really looking <v Speaker 4>forward to this. <v Speaker 3>It's funny because when they first announced Pokepia Po Copiaia, <v Speaker 3>I feel like not many people were like into it, <v Speaker 3>but until the reviews had come out. Everybody was like, oh, <v Speaker 3>po Copia, I'm getting this game. <v Speaker 1>It's just it's I know, like the I keep going <v Speaker 1>on about it. I know the concept is the concept. <v Speaker 1>Like you can look at the game and you can <v Speaker 1>be like, I get it right, even if you don't <v Speaker 1>want to play it, Like I get it when you <v Speaker 1>start playing it and you see the depth and like <v Speaker 1>the amount of little surprises and just the things that <v Speaker 1>keep and like there's so many elements that are addictive. <v Speaker 1>Like it's the finding the Pokemon, it's the raising their <v Speaker 1>happiness levels. <v Speaker 2>It's building them little houses. <v Speaker 1>It's like building the habitats and collecting the habitats, and <v Speaker 1>it's like so like sometimes you can find a little <v Speaker 1>glimmer of a thing on the ground and if you <v Speaker 1>click on it, it'll like give you a hint for <v Speaker 1>a habitat. It's like, hey, if you build this, someone <v Speaker 1>will show up. And the more of them that I did, <v Speaker 1>the more my brain started to understand, like what could <v Speaker 1>be a habitat? And so at one point, I, god, <v Speaker 1>I don't I don't know what is a spoiler. <v Speaker 2>I'm just gonna say it's. <v Speaker 1>At one point I walked past this area and I <v Speaker 1>saw a gravestone, and I was like, there's a habitat <v Speaker 1>in this, I know it. And so I was trying <v Speaker 1>out and I was like putting things around and I <v Speaker 1>was trying to get something to happen. And then eventually <v Speaker 1>I put something down and it highlighted and it said <v Speaker 1>gravestone habitat and I was like, I. <v Speaker 2>Pokemon. <v Speaker 1>Then I checked back later and I'd found a Pokemon <v Speaker 1>and it was that that. It was like, oh, okay, <v Speaker 1>I think I might know what Pokemon it is, but <v Speaker 1>I won't spoil it. So I've been going around and <v Speaker 1>just trying things out and seeing if I can like <v Speaker 1>make a habitat. <v Speaker 4>I think I just saw another comment real quick too, <v Speaker 4>And I think this also adds on as that this <v Speaker 4>is also a cool little game for people who haven't <v Speaker 4>really been in a Pokemon before either. It's like a <v Speaker 4>good game halfway point. Oh yeah, I was going to <v Speaker 4>say this too. My god son, it's his birthday soon <v Speaker 4>his birthdays. Oh I'm not going to say what it is, <v Speaker 4>but his birthday is coming up and he's like seven. <v Speaker 4>I guess he's about to be eight, and he loves <v Speaker 4>animal crossing. Yeah, he loves Pokemon. <v Speaker 2>I bought him Pokemon Z didn't like it. <v Speaker 1>Okay, I was watching him play it. He played it <v Speaker 1>one time. He didn't understand the combat. The combat was <v Speaker 1>because he's young. Yeah, yeah, the combat wasn't out for him. <v Speaker 1>But he loves Pokemon. He loves Animal Crossing, and me <v Speaker 1>and him playing Minecraft together all the time, and I <v Speaker 1>was like, oh my god, this is it, Like this <v Speaker 1>is it. <v Speaker 2>This is his game. So yeah, I think it's going <v Speaker 2>to be a lot of people's games. <v Speaker 4>That's awesome. <v Speaker 2>All right, we're pretty long in the show. <v Speaker 1>The bonus episode today, by the way, is we're gonna <v Speaker 1>rank every single Pokemon game. <v Speaker 2>Yes, every main ever, including legends. Yeah. <v Speaker 4>So that's the bonus episode for patreons on YouTube members. <v Speaker 4>And it's going to be a collaborative thing. I'm not <v Speaker 4>going to dominate it. I'm not gonna I'm not gonna <v Speaker 4>let them put something. <v Speaker 2>I have much. <v Speaker 4>I will have strong opinions. Oh yeah, but I'm not <v Speaker 4>going to dominate it. So that's going to be a <v Speaker 4>really fun bonus episode and on theme with Pokemon. So <v Speaker 4>Patreons stick around, but really quickly because we are getting along. <v Speaker 4>Let's blast this indie world. <v Speaker 1>Okay, oh yes, which is I hate that we have <v Speaker 1>to blast it because I actually haven't seen it. <v Speaker 2>I saw like a clip or two. I was waiting <v Speaker 2>to watch it. <v Speaker 1>All I know is the final reveal, which is actually <v Speaker 1>really exciting, and I didn't see enough people talking about it. <v Speaker 2>Okay, so let's blast through this quickly. Look was it <v Speaker 2>twenty minutes? Yeah? Yeah? Eighteen? What time are we at <v Speaker 2>for the show? Goods? <v Speaker 4>You guys, you guys like us talking more right? Time's <v Speaker 4>flying when you're having a good time. It is. <v Speaker 2>I'm having a very good time today. <v Speaker 1>So this one kind of looks like jet set radio. <v Speaker 1>I'm much on the sound up a little here, maybe, <v Speaker 1>Oh I can can we hear that? <v Speaker 2>Oh? There we go. <v Speaker 1>This one kind of looks like jet set radio, but <v Speaker 1>like you are a bus, I'm not really sure. Train <v Speaker 1>car looks like, uh, this is the kind of game <v Speaker 1>that my room, my old roommate who I'm still good <v Speaker 1>friends with, what a door? This just looks like that. <v Speaker 1>He's like a skater kid and this just looks like <v Speaker 1>his weird kind of punk dreams. <v Speaker 2>So this is definitely interesting. <v Speaker 1>This one's called den Attack, which is a very uh <v Speaker 1>Japanese name, and I'm gonna I'm gonna be a little <v Speaker 1>bit of Japanese right here, because I actually know a <v Speaker 1>tiny little bit of Japanese. Densha means train, and that <v Speaker 1>is a train attack. <v Speaker 2>So I think it is train attack. You proud of me. <v Speaker 1>This one's my little puppy, uh, which looks cute like <v Speaker 1>a little dog, little dog. I'm not gonna lie. It's <v Speaker 1>hard to go from Pokapia to this. I'm not gonna <v Speaker 1>lie a little bit, but it looks cute. We're just <v Speaker 1>gonna breeze through this. I guess kieve hoo too. I <v Speaker 1>do remember heave ho. I never played it though. It's <v Speaker 1>very much a party game, very much. <v Speaker 4>What they're cooling now is friends, friends life. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, friends love games. Which have you seen the Burgling <v Speaker 2>Nomes one? <v Speaker 4>No, I've heard of the game. <v Speaker 1>That's the latest, like you know, like there's always like <v Speaker 1>the latest, like Vvy there yet whatever it was. Did <v Speaker 1>you see that one? There's Peak to peak. The latest <v Speaker 1>one is Burgling Gnomes. Okay, so your o little gnomes <v Speaker 1>and you have to go into people's houses. <v Speaker 2>And I saw there's a golf one. You can the <v Speaker 2>golf one? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, friends, Oh, I am very excited for this game, <v Speaker 1>we already know about it. I'm not even kidding. I <v Speaker 1>actually am very excited for it. I played the first one. Yeah, yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 1>that's why I'm excited. So Moonlighter one it was eight bit. <v Speaker 1>Actually this looks graphically different. Yeah, so they've gone for <v Speaker 1>a three D open art style, which is really cool. <v Speaker 2>Uh. <v Speaker 1>The reason why I love this game so much is <v Speaker 1>because it's called Moonlighter and it plays in two realms. <v Speaker 1>So one you have this roguelike action hack and slash <v Speaker 1>where you go through dungeons and you do dungeon cralls <v Speaker 1>and you kill bad guys and you get a bunch <v Speaker 1>of items. Yes, during the night you moonlight as that. <v Speaker 1>During the day, you run a shop and you open <v Speaker 1>up a shop and you sell everything that you find <v Speaker 1>in the dungeons, and you can set your own prices, <v Speaker 1>and different NPCs will come in every day and be <v Speaker 1>looking for different things, and it's just a really rewarding <v Speaker 1>give and take system where you use the money from <v Speaker 1>your shop to upgrade yourself by better weapons, to go <v Speaker 1>back into the dungeons and progress even further. So the <v Speaker 1>better shop seller you are, the better dungeon crawler you're <v Speaker 1>going to be in the Better Dungeon Crawler. You are <v Speaker 1>the better shop, sell things in the shop, and it's <v Speaker 1>just really really cool and unique. I really love it. <v Speaker 4>I didn't know that was on Switch. I'm very excited <v Speaker 4>for that game. <v Speaker 1>That's like almost a Hades level for me, of excited <v Speaker 1>for for indie game that's coming out. So that's a <v Speaker 1>big one. Then my name's sake. Woodoo Woodoo, wood Do Woodoo. <v Speaker 2>That's you. <v Speaker 1>We've also seen this game before. I believe it's very <v Speaker 1>very nice art style, very high clarity art style. <v Speaker 2>Looks like almost claymation kind of. Yeah, I love it. <v Speaker 2>I also love the like the field of view on it, <v Speaker 2>where everything's like blurry in the background, but everything's made <v Speaker 2>out of wood and you essentially it's like a like <v Speaker 2>a therapeutic type game where you place things around. Okay <v Speaker 2>you kind of like it's like coloring but placing wood parts. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, kind of kind of like that game Little to <v Speaker 1>the Left or Unpacking. I guess that came liked. <v Speaker 4>We you just kind of like micromanaging stuff, but it's <v Speaker 4>just adorable. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's cool. So this is a big Kim game <v Speaker 2>for sure, a big cozy game. This is a nice <v Speaker 2>art style. It's cool. <v Speaker 4>This is called mini shoot Adventures. Then we have Oh, <v Speaker 4>Midnight Walk is a really nice art style. Is this <v Speaker 4>has Have you seen this before? I think like some <v Speaker 4>other like I don't know if it was a state <v Speaker 4>of play or something else. <v Speaker 1>I saw this on. This is giving little nightmares. It's <v Speaker 1>giving the reanimal that I just played until about as well. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>there's a cool art style. <v Speaker 2>There. <v Speaker 1>A game called Rotwood. Oh this looks like I forget <v Speaker 1>what it's called. Who developed this? It looks like another game. <v Speaker 4>I played a puzzle game, but this looks like a <v Speaker 4>beat him up style game. But the art style is <v Speaker 4>exactly the same. Looks almost cartoonish. Can you look up, oh, <v Speaker 4>Clay into play? Can you see what else they've made <v Speaker 4>a l e. I don't think it's I don't think <v Speaker 4>it's Maybe it's thatten Wood, another Wood title game. <v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, it's another Wood title game. I bet that's <v Speaker 2>a roguelike as well. It looks very rogue lighty. <v Speaker 3>Okay, So we got like, don't starve, don't start together, <v Speaker 3>Mark of the Ninja, Grifflands, Oxygen not included, and invisible. <v Speaker 4>They haven't released the game since twenty nineteen. Wow, that's <v Speaker 4>not who I thought that. Don't Don't Starve is huge. <v Speaker 4>That's a big game, people, That's a really big indie game. <v Speaker 4>This game is called Mixtape. It looks like a very <v Speaker 4>much like a coming to life? What's it not? Coming <v Speaker 4>to life? Coming up? <v Speaker 2>Coming of age? <v Speaker 4>Thank you? <v Speaker 2>Kind of like life is strange? Thank you? You're in <v Speaker 2>my brain right now. I was look kind of I so. <v Speaker 1>I adored the first Life is Strange. That's that was <v Speaker 1>one of my favorite games at the time. Every other <v Speaker 1>game that they made I didn't like any of them. <v Speaker 1>They were all very boring. It was a very uh <v Speaker 1>Telltale genre. Coming of age, Yeah, I think so. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, it's like like those like like those happy Family movies. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, there's definitely like. <v Speaker 1>Coming of age things you've seen that you've liked. Have <v Speaker 1>you ever seen like, well, like Stranger Things is a <v Speaker 1>coming of age? <v Speaker 2>No? No, I know, I don't know if shows. <v Speaker 4>I just didn't know there were games like oh yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 4>just like kids teens kind of like dealing with like <v Speaker 4>team things. <v Speaker 2>Stuff like that feeling represented I was gonna say that. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Telltale was like that, where there their first game in <v Speaker 1>a series or their first games in gener or really good, <v Speaker 1>and then the more. <v Speaker 2>It went on, the worst they got blighted. <v Speaker 4>Another roguel like possibly or like a dungeon crawller. Sorry, <v Speaker 4>we are just kind of skipping through this at this point. <v Speaker 4>I do like the art style. Yeah, I like how <v Speaker 4>a different these games look in terms of their art styles. <v Speaker 4>This next one I was interested in. It's called Dead <v Speaker 4>Zone Rogue, which I think they said is a rogue like. <v Speaker 4>I mean, it's called rogue, but it's a first person <v Speaker 4>shooter and actually for an indie game, and first person <v Speaker 4>shooter does not look that bad. It actually looks pretty interesting. Yeah, <v Speaker 4>there's the roguelike elements. It's pretty good. We've played before. <v Speaker 2>Really did that come through? Yes? Nice when you say <v Speaker 2>we who's weim me and some friends in discord? Okay, <v Speaker 2>did you like finish it? <v Speaker 4>No? <v Speaker 6>It wasn't that good. Okay, well it was. It was <v Speaker 6>good enough to have one gaming session. We'll take that <v Speaker 6>good enough. I guess maybe it's improved. Uh grave, Oh <v Speaker 6>this is a sizzle reel. Okay, Oh TOEM two is <v Speaker 6>in here TOEM one? I really liked It's like it's <v Speaker 6>about to play. It's the black and white one. Yeah, <v Speaker 6>here we go. <v Speaker 1>This is this is a Pokemon Snap in a different <v Speaker 1>world with this black and white setting and very like <v Speaker 1>isometric but also like puzzly and you have a list <v Speaker 1>of things that they want you to take pictures of. <v Speaker 1>And it's also like a like a puzzler in a <v Speaker 1>way and like not really like a rogal a Metroidvania, <v Speaker 1>but kind of where you need to just put pieces <v Speaker 1>of a puzzle together and take pictures of it and <v Speaker 1>find a bunch of things I wanted to do. I <v Speaker 1>really enjoyed the first one, so I'm glad there's a <v Speaker 1>second one. Oh, you want to learn some more Japanese. <v Speaker 1>This game is called in Konbini. Do you want to <v Speaker 1>guess what a coonbini is? <v Speaker 2>Sty Conbini. <v Speaker 3>My wife has been playing like games like this, a <v Speaker 3>game like this on her phone, Like she has a <v Speaker 3>shop and she has to like you know, she gets boxes, <v Speaker 3>she has to like you know, put everything. <v Speaker 1>Then yeah, this is as soon as I saw something <v Speaker 1>like this is definitely for her. Also, it's very Japanese coded. <v Speaker 1>The classic egg sandwich. The egg sandwich is a huge <v Speaker 1>thing at the seven elevens in Japan isod It's very good. <v Speaker 1>The egg part itself is really good. But it's on <v Speaker 1>milk bread, which is just this really nice bread, and <v Speaker 1>it's also there like that. You can see it here <v Speaker 1>two hundred yen which I believe that's yen, which is <v Speaker 1>about two bucks. So I really really cheap, good tasty <v Speaker 1>egg sandwich. They actually fun fact, in the last few <v Speaker 1>months they brought it to seven Eleven's here to try <v Speaker 1>and like recreate it, but it was like seven dollars <v Speaker 1>because it's America. <v Speaker 4>Everything's too expensive and it just wasn't as good. <v Speaker 2>So it's like, okay, it's just an expensive egg salad. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>you kind of missed the whole point that restocking. That's <v Speaker 2>a long cow all right, we can skip that, all right, <v Speaker 2>so we have bound in. <v Speaker 4>This is a real I heard about this. Yeah, you <v Speaker 4>got like a van that you get to drive around <v Speaker 4>and just do your own thing in Brittantatan. Thank you <v Speaker 4>appreciate it. <v Speaker 1>That's you know, this is a real The one more thing, <v Speaker 1>I don't know if people know about this game or <v Speaker 1>it's as people do. <v Speaker 2>I don't know. <v Speaker 4>I don't know if you guys are going to know <v Speaker 4>about this game. I'm actually I'll let you I'll see <v Speaker 4>what your reaction this is the last one. Yeah, this <v Speaker 4>is the one last thing. And in my opinion, this <v Speaker 4>is a way bigger one last thing than I expected <v Speaker 4>from an indie world. Okay, and but remember it is <v Speaker 4>an indie game. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I'll do volume. <v Speaker 7>Maybe shifting rooms in Blueprints, you embark on a first <v Speaker 7>person anything register at all, Blue Prince, it's like the Blueprints. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I get they get the joke. <v Speaker 1>I don't know what the so this game, I don't <v Speaker 1>It wasn't in the top Game of the Year category, <v Speaker 1>but it was actually nominated for Game of the Year <v Speaker 1>for like Indie Game and like deput Indie game last year, <v Speaker 1>and people were ranting and raving about this game when <v Speaker 1>it came out. And I know, like the style of <v Speaker 1>it isn't everybody's favorite, so that first person missed style <v Speaker 1>like a point and click puzzle game. I haven't played <v Speaker 1>it yet, but the reviews this game got were astounding, <v Speaker 1>Like it is supposed to be one of the best <v Speaker 1>games ever, really interesting. Yeah it's supposed to be really <v Speaker 1>really really good and a detective game or something. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's very much a puzzle like Explore and like Decode, <v Speaker 2>And yeah, I don't know. I haven't played it. So <v Speaker 2>I'm just kind of talking out my butt. <v Speaker 1>But I was surprised to see it just because I, <v Speaker 1>I don't know, I just didn't hear anything about it <v Speaker 1>and it was available the same day. So yeah, it <v Speaker 1>was just a huge I thought it was a huge <v Speaker 1>reveal just for like, again, we're in an indie world. <v Speaker 1>It was like the biggest indie of last year, and <v Speaker 1>here it is on Switch. Was nominated for a game <v Speaker 1>of I think so indie games. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, and look up blue Prints Blue Prince. I wonder <v Speaker 2>what the common section on that looks like? An indie world. <v Speaker 4>So it it won major industry awards, including Best Independent <v Speaker 4>Game and Game Design that the twenty nine Dice Awards <v Speaker 4>twenty twenty six. It also secured the twenty twenty five <v Speaker 4>Golden cub Unity Award, Golden Joystick Award for Best Indie Game, <v Speaker 4>and received nominations at the Game Awards twenty twenty five. <v Speaker 2>Wow, so I mean it won a lot. I mean, <v Speaker 2>oh jeez, how did I do that? How did I <v Speaker 2>go back like that? Blueprints Accolades Trailer? I think, I <v Speaker 2>think and correct me if I'm wrong, Chat, I think <v Speaker 2>it was an Xbox game. I don't was it on <v Speaker 2>PlayStation as well, ten out of ten five out of five? Wow? <v Speaker 2>What did Igen give it? Nine out of ten video <v Speaker 2>experiences I've ever had? Spot. <v Speaker 1>I think it's just like it's one of those ones <v Speaker 1>where you have to play it. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, you get it. <v Speaker 4>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I think anything to actually explain it would probably give <v Speaker 1>spoilers and give away like secrets. <v Speaker 2>It's the gamer. I've never played any hold on? <v Speaker 4>Is that? Look up his review? Go to see if <v Speaker 4>you look up the gamers review. <v Speaker 2>I mean he was probably at the start here. I like, <v Speaker 2>what what website is this show? <v Speaker 4>Yeah? Is it there? <v Speaker 2>No, it's not there. I want to know what the <v Speaker 2>gamer gave it. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, imagine it's still like a seventy or sixty best <v Speaker 4>puzzle game of the year. <v Speaker 1>Anyway, I I haven't. I haven't played this one yet. <v Speaker 1>I'm going even two. I'm whoa the gamer? Maybe they're <v Speaker 1>on it. I apologize to the game the gamer, whoever <v Speaker 1>you is. I think I might have had confused with <v Speaker 1>someone else. There was someone that like they gave Donkey <v Speaker 1>Kong Bonanza like a five, Mario Cutt World like five, <v Speaker 1>and they kept there was a patent that they kept <v Speaker 1>giving Like Nintendo games, these really low scores for some reason, Okay. <v Speaker 2>It's trying to just tank the overall rating. <v Speaker 1>People called onto it and it was like a big <v Speaker 1>deal on the internet for a while, and I don't <v Speaker 1>know who it was. For some reason, I thought it <v Speaker 1>was the Gamer, but I apologized the Gamer, rightild Gamer, <v Speaker 1>Good job gamer crushing it. <v Speaker 2>Keep on gaming, Keep on gaming. All right. That's that. <v Speaker 4>Let's side quest today kind of. <v Speaker 2>Just went on. <v Speaker 4>That was a side quest. <v Speaker 1>All right, We're gonna do Say's game, then we're gonna <v Speaker 1>do super Chats, Yes. Then I'm gonna pee yes, and <v Speaker 1>then we're gonna do the bonus episode. We're gonna rank <v Speaker 1>every Pokemon game. <v Speaker 2>Okay. <v Speaker 4>So I love the podcast now this is it's so <v Speaker 4>much better than it was before. And I think you <v Speaker 4>just said it like it's just because there's so much <v Speaker 4>we can talk about now, Yeah, so much that's happening, <v Speaker 4>and there's there's really a lot to go although, yeah, <v Speaker 4>and it's nice to have you guys every week, just <v Speaker 4>like passionate to come in and like talk about this <v Speaker 4>stuff with me. <v Speaker 2>It's just nice. <v Speaker 4>And the boys out there too, yes, yeah, our shout <v Speaker 4>our crew, our hearty crew. <v Speaker 2>All right. <v Speaker 3>So given the fact that last week or I guess <v Speaker 3>yesterday was was it yesterday the day before yesterday? Nintendo <v Speaker 3>Switch is ninth year two days ago, two days ago. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>oh my gosh, wow, I'm gonna have wood today. <v Speaker 4>We need game show music for you. I might hit <v Speaker 4>up my music guy Eric. Yeah, we haven't make games game. <v Speaker 1>Show music for when we play, although that would make <v Speaker 1>clips to nightmare. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, unless you could like separate. Yeah, the thing, we'll <v Speaker 2>get game show music. Yeah. Yeah. <v Speaker 3>Okay, So this week I'm gonna have you rank the <v Speaker 3>top ten best or the top ten sold Switch games <v Speaker 3>of all time in from from best to worst or <v Speaker 3>worst to best. <v Speaker 2>Okay, Okay, so I think I get it. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, so we're gonna I'm gonna just show you the <v Speaker 4>highest rated Switch games of all time. No, no, no, the <v Speaker 4>highest sold Switch games, solid switch games, yeah, Switch one, <v Speaker 4>Switch one, given that it's been nine, we're gonna look <v Speaker 4>at like, you know, the the top ten best, you know, <v Speaker 4>highest selling games. <v Speaker 2>Are you doing it like you did that one where <v Speaker 2>it was random? <v Speaker 3>Either way, I could tell you the name so you <v Speaker 3>could properly like do you have ten or do you <v Speaker 3>have like fifteen? <v Speaker 4>No? I have the exact ten. The top ten most <v Speaker 4>they are the top ten are the top So you're <v Speaker 4>going to put them basically? I think I'll know when <v Speaker 4>that'll go. <v Speaker 3>I could show you them like no, okay, one at <v Speaker 3>a time, one at a time. Should we start from <v Speaker 3>the from ten or should we start from one? <v Speaker 2>What do you think? <v Speaker 4>I think we should start from the bottom the bottom? Okay, okay, <v Speaker 4>so do it random? You just mix it up completely, <v Speaker 4>all right? I got you. This is number ten. This <v Speaker 4>is not a good start, Mario Bros. You Deluxe, I'm <v Speaker 4>a bit of a hater here. Really, what is your <v Speaker 4>gripe with New Super Mario Bros. You It's not a <v Speaker 4>bad game by any means. I didn't like that. <v Speaker 1>Nintendo for the longest time, we're refusing to change up <v Speaker 1>the formula of those classic two D games before I <v Speaker 1>really felt like the three D games were making these <v Speaker 1>huge leaps and advancements, and I love that they kept <v Speaker 1>the two D ones going, but they never changed them <v Speaker 1>more evolved in them. Have you played this on the <v Speaker 1>WIU or was it the first time you played it on <v Speaker 1>the WIU? <v Speaker 2>You did? Yeah? So have you played New Super Mario Bros? <v Speaker 2>Wi Though? Yeah? <v Speaker 3>So this I think was like a slight improvements. <v Speaker 1>Slight, yes, but it was still the same basic format <v Speaker 1>an idea. <v Speaker 2>Like characters, I think, right, yeah, the characters. <v Speaker 4>It was still Mario the same way it was back <v Speaker 4>on the ne s, Like it just was a game. <v Speaker 2>Was pretty cool because you could like put those. <v Speaker 1>I've been talking about this for a long time because <v Speaker 1>you had once we hit the Wii. The Wii was <v Speaker 1>a nice refresh first one, but I had like the <v Speaker 1>two three DS ones which just bit off the wiize bit. <v Speaker 1>But it's like here you have it with more coins. <v Speaker 1>This is a coin rush one that was that was <v Speaker 1>and then like you get like the we you want <v Speaker 1>and it's like here it is again, and I don't know, <v Speaker 1>its just I was very redundant. I kept saying they <v Speaker 1>need to evolve, they need to change, and people were <v Speaker 1>like it's fine, Like it's like with Pokemon, right, And <v Speaker 1>then Wonder comes out and it's like this is exactly <v Speaker 1>what I'm talking about, Like look at the how different <v Speaker 1>and how awesome it is, like the best two D <v Speaker 1>Mario we've ever had. So I'm only putting this at <v Speaker 1>a nine nine because I know pokemons are in here somewhere. <v Speaker 2>Do you have the like the exact number, the exact <v Speaker 2>number of sills. Yes, this one's do you want to guess? <v Speaker 2>Or should I just say? <v Speaker 4>This one sold seventeen million, very close eighteen I might <v Speaker 4>know all of these to be honest. Okay, this was <v Speaker 4>number ten, So anything after this is going to be <v Speaker 4>higher or lower because he has to do or sorry, <v Speaker 4>higher on the list, but lower on his Yeah. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, his list. Yeah. Well, I'm talking about the sales <v Speaker 2>right here. So let's do all right, in the spirit <v Speaker 2>of Pokemon, let's do Scarlet and Violet. <v Speaker 3>This was a Nintendo's sixth most sold switch game of <v Speaker 3>all time ten no shocker. <v Speaker 4>There also those box ares look way cooler than those. Actually, yeah, <v Speaker 4>so I believe those are. <v Speaker 2>Twenty four million, twenty three to twenty four million. <v Speaker 3>Uh, those are twenty eight million, four million chibe that's crazy? <v Speaker 2>Wait really yeah? <v Speaker 4>I think also like they had like the double packs <v Speaker 4>and all that too. <v Speaker 1>No, I know, I just thought that was the number <v Speaker 1>because I thought Sword and Shield was twenty six or <v Speaker 1>twenty seven, and I remember those are like four million, <v Speaker 1>shy of sword and shields. <v Speaker 2>So what did you say? <v Speaker 4>Those were twenty seven, twenty eight, twenty eight, So Sword <v Speaker 4>and Shield must be like thirty one. <v Speaker 3>No, you ad you you you said it right the <v Speaker 3>first time. <v Speaker 2>Wait, so she was less, but you're going in order. No, <v Speaker 2>I'm just randomizing. <v Speaker 1>Oh okay, that's what messed me up there. Okay, So <v Speaker 1>I had it backwards because I thought you were going <v Speaker 1>in order. Yeah okay, So Sword and Shield is the <v Speaker 1>twenty three, twenty four No, SOD and Shields twenty seven, <v Speaker 1>twenty seven? Yeah alright, so yeah, you said sord and <v Speaker 1>Shields twenty sevening like that's literally spot on. Okay, all right, <v Speaker 1>So here we have Super Mario otyst Sye. This was <v Speaker 1>the fifth most sold Nintendo Switch game of all time. <v Speaker 2>I'n't seen that before. That's thirty thirty something. That's like thirty, <v Speaker 2>say fifth, the fifth. <v Speaker 4>Yes, Uh, that's going to be like it's more than <v Speaker 4>Breath of the Water, is it. It's going to be <v Speaker 4>like thirty five, thirty six? You said it right the <v Speaker 4>first time, thirty one? No, what did I say? You <v Speaker 4>said thirty it's just thirty thirty million. <v Speaker 2>Goddamn, you're getting them right, and then you're doubting yourself afterwards. Oh, <v Speaker 2>this is a uh, this is a it's tis of <v Speaker 2>the Kingdom on this list. Yeah, Tiers of the Kingdom <v Speaker 2>and Broth of the Wild they're both on. <v Speaker 4>This This is a two that that's the top two. <v Speaker 2>Nice. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, crazy for a game that came out nine years ago. <v Speaker 4>Like I'm going to lock in on on these numbersiness. <v Speaker 4>It's such like a high standard. <v Speaker 2>It's incredible. Okay. <v Speaker 4>I don't even love Mario that much, and that's one <v Speaker 4>of my favorite games. This one Animal cross Okay, this <v Speaker 4>one's like forty five million. <v Speaker 3>Forty Fuck, you're very hot, very very hot. I would say, <v Speaker 3>you know, you gotta go up a little north. <v Speaker 4>Oh wait, more forty seven, then little slightly higher forty nine, <v Speaker 4>forty nine million, good lord, not crazy. Forty five Wow, <v Speaker 4>that's insane. And what number is that? This is number <v Speaker 4>two most sold switching? This is getting This is actually <v Speaker 4>getting tough. <v Speaker 1>Uh, I'm uh geez, this is hord now all right, <v Speaker 1>Breath of the Wild. <v Speaker 4>I'm gonna give you a spoiler's here. Breath of the <v Speaker 4>World's one, Smashes three, that's got to be four, Animal <v Speaker 4>Crossing four. Yeah, yeah, it's tough, but yes, I have <v Speaker 4>to I don't know, it's really tough though. I want <v Speaker 4>to put it higher, but I can't put Smash or <v Speaker 4>Breath of the Wild less for me personally. But Animal <v Speaker 4>Crossing is it's almost tied. If I could do a <v Speaker 4>tie the Super Mario Party. This sold shockingly well considering <v Speaker 4>how bad it was. <v Speaker 2>It was. It was. <v Speaker 3>It's number nine on the list of sales, so it's <v Speaker 3>like above New Super Mario Bros. <v Speaker 1>You Oh, it's not as high as I thought, so <v Speaker 1>bars you what do we say? That was eighteen eighteen. <v Speaker 1>This has got to be like twenty It is higher, <v Speaker 1>but not much. <v Speaker 2>I would say it's gonna be like twenty three, twenty one, <v Speaker 2>twenty one Okay, okay, twenty one million. <v Speaker 4>I mean yeah, shockingly high considering it's not good. I <v Speaker 4>mean it was, this is This is probably the best <v Speaker 4>Mary Party. Superstars has the best any games. <v Speaker 2>Jamburey is probably the best Jaburey right now. <v Speaker 4>Jamburee is hands down the best one they've done on <v Speaker 4>that generation. Feel like this is up here because it's <v Speaker 4>like the first one, the first one we have on <v Speaker 4>Switch and like the one that isn't nine or ten <v Speaker 4>that is absolute garbage. <v Speaker 2>So I didn't like that one at all. That one's horrible. <v Speaker 1>That's it that's actually, uh, that's ten, but I can't <v Speaker 1>do it now. That's the ten or nine. So I'm <v Speaker 1>just gonna go eight. If you want, you can move someone. No, no, no, <v Speaker 1>it's fine. I like being locked in Oki Doki. Let's see, <v Speaker 1>we got Pokemon Sword and Shield. Okay, so we already <v Speaker 1>said we a what twenty seven million? <v Speaker 2>Right? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? They want that bad. Visually, they obviously went great. <v Speaker 1>The trees were ugly. I had more fun with those <v Speaker 1>than Scarlet and Violet. They felt like core titles. I <v Speaker 1>think their DLC was a little bit better too. DLC <v Speaker 1>wasn't bad. I'm not I'm not considering that though. They're <v Speaker 1>uh six six, Yeah, I'm what's going to be seven? <v Speaker 1>But let's see, okay, so not much left? All right, <v Speaker 1>here we go Mario Kart eight the US. <v Speaker 4>I forgot the heaviest hitter, the number one most sold <v Speaker 4>switch game of all time. For some reason, I thought <v Speaker 4>I was gonna be Breath of the Wire, the one <v Speaker 4>that did numbers. <v Speaker 2>That might go above Animal Crossing. I don't know this <v Speaker 2>did this is uh god? What is that at? <v Speaker 4>It did? <v Speaker 2>Tell me? This? Did it break sixty? Oh? Yeah? <v Speaker 4>So we have Animal Crossing out forty nine million units. <v Speaker 4>This might be, this might be up in like close <v Speaker 4>to eighty eighty is a little too high, a little <v Speaker 4>too high, So seventy four. <v Speaker 3>Seventy four, it's seventy million units seven exalion, seventy million <v Speaker 3>deluxe for. <v Speaker 4>A we U port. <v Speaker 2>That's crazy. <v Speaker 1>That's crazy, because isn't that we are How many units <v Speaker 1>of the switch have sold? One hundred and fifty million, <v Speaker 1>hundred and fifty so half the people that technically bought this. <v Speaker 1>That's a crazy attachment rate. That's insane. <v Speaker 4>That's amazing. <v Speaker 1>I think my cut world detachment rate is actually probably <v Speaker 1>higher by percentage right now, and only because like the <v Speaker 1>release and a bundle. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, well lifetime overall for nine years. Yeah, that's absolutely impressive. Man. <v Speaker 1>Oh I have to rank it five, unfortunately unfortunately, because <v Speaker 1>I mean again, it's like it's a one to so <v Speaker 1>many people. I would the three that are in that <v Speaker 1>blue section right now are all tied for one. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>like the top five are, oh one. It's just it's <v Speaker 1>so hard to place them. If I wasn't doing it <v Speaker 1>out of order, I might do Mario Cup four and <v Speaker 1>Animal Crossing five. That's three. I already know that, Okay, <v Speaker 1>this sold. I actually don't know this one. I would <v Speaker 1>be taking a guess here. Let me tell you exactly <v Speaker 1>where it is on the list. <v Speaker 2>Oh, this is three, you're right, so it's it's number <v Speaker 2>You ranked it three, and it's number three most sold <v Speaker 2>switch game. <v Speaker 3>And what do we say? Odyssey was Odyssey? Odyssey was <v Speaker 3>number five, it's not thirty. And then Animal Crossing is <v Speaker 3>number two, and that's forty nine. So it's between thirty <v Speaker 3>and forty nine. It can't be in the forties. So <v Speaker 3>it's got to be like, it's got to be like <v Speaker 3>high thirties. I'm just gonna say thirty seven. Thirty seven. <v Speaker 2>Oh my gosh, that was a guess. It was a <v Speaker 2>good guess. That was a good guess. It was a guess. <v Speaker 2>All right, breadth of the wild. <v Speaker 1>This one, unless it's changed, I think it's low thirties. <v Speaker 1>I do think it's like thirty five, very close thirty four. Yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 1>oh you know that's one obviously. Yeah, this is a <v Speaker 1>problem now, yeah. <v Speaker 2>You look at you. You you round it out your <v Speaker 2>top five already. I know. <v Speaker 1>So I have messed up, and I know what's coming next. <v Speaker 1>I don't know what to tell you. <v Speaker 2>So in my brain. <v Speaker 1>I was like, I'm not gonna do Tears of the <v Speaker 1>Kingdom alongside Breath of the Wild because I just don't <v Speaker 1>think it's fair. It's it's so hard to place Tears <v Speaker 1>of the Kingdom on a top list because it's just <v Speaker 1>more of the same. <v Speaker 3>But yeah, I agree with you because when you look <v Speaker 3>at them, it's like it is technically just yeah, more <v Speaker 3>Breath of the Wild. <v Speaker 1>And bumping down like Smash and Odyssey. Yea to cram <v Speaker 1>it in is just so like it's greedy. It's it's <v Speaker 1>so greedy. Does it feels selfish? It feels like you <v Speaker 1>should either do Breath of the Wild or Tears or <v Speaker 1>put them right next to each other as like a <v Speaker 1>little bonus. <v Speaker 2>It's fine to go in seven. I mean if if. <v Speaker 1>If we're gonna place it, maybe like I would actually <v Speaker 1>place at six and then and then bump all the <v Speaker 1>other ones down as like the bad ones. <v Speaker 2>But this is fine. It's not it's not ideal putting <v Speaker 2>it at seven, but like we got we got to <v Speaker 2>do that. <v Speaker 1>I'm sorry, Okay, that's fine because like where are you <v Speaker 1>going to put it? Like really, like I don't know, <v Speaker 1>it just feels so like greedy. <v Speaker 3>It does feel greedy, and I agree with you because <v Speaker 3>when you think about it, like you would have to <v Speaker 3>move like Odyssey, which is a go to games smash <v Speaker 3>all yeah, Animal Cross and Mario these are all and <v Speaker 3>right now. <v Speaker 1>You have like which you have the great RPG, you have, <v Speaker 1>the great platformer, the great fighter, you have, the great <v Speaker 1>cozy SIM and the great racer in the top five <v Speaker 1>to crame in like theg Yeah, the next one the <v Speaker 1>same thing, just more yeah, even though it is better. <v Speaker 1>Yeah yeah, I like where we have this now good. <v Speaker 1>But also Tears did not sell as good as. <v Speaker 4>Breath of the Water obviously. Yeah, so that one is. <v Speaker 4>I'm not gonna tell you the number. I'm just gonna <v Speaker 4>tell you I don't think. <v Speaker 2>You have to. Okay, I don't think it broke twenty <v Speaker 2>the way. Maybe it did. <v Speaker 4>It's number eight on the list. Oh uh, Okay, so <v Speaker 4>it did break twenty. But it's like it'd be like <v Speaker 4>middle Ground. So it's like twenty twenty four to twenty five. <v Speaker 4>You're you're too high, too low, too high. So twenty two, <v Speaker 4>twenty two million, there you go. <v Speaker 1>That's actually not bad considering the first one was thirty <v Speaker 1>something thirty two? <v Speaker 2>Did I say you said, yeah, thirty it's thirty two, <v Speaker 2>thirty three, thirty three exactly. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, selling two thirds for a sequel that's essentially the <v Speaker 1>same thing. <v Speaker 2>That's pretty good. Yeah. I think they've got to be <v Speaker 2>pretty happy with that. You can't be sad with that. <v Speaker 3>They're like, well, eleven million sales less than Breath of <v Speaker 3>the While. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, that's that's not especially with the Breath of <v Speaker 1>Well being a day one release as well that everyone <v Speaker 1>was going to pick up. I think that's that's really solid. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>and first of its kind. Yeah, chat, I hope you <v Speaker 1>like the ranking. <v Speaker 2>This is good. I like it. <v Speaker 4>I think I did get it. <v Speaker 2>I think I crushed these. I think it was only <v Speaker 2>one that I didn't like. <v Speaker 3>I mean, I would definitely have moved New Super mar Bros. <v Speaker 3>Two as a seven. But I get your point. You know, <v Speaker 3>I didn't play Pokemon Sword or Shield or Scarlet or <v Speaker 3>Violet to know, so, like, out of the eight, out <v Speaker 3>of the ten games, two of them I haven't never <v Speaker 3>even played. <v Speaker 4>I would probably maybe move while this is me. I'd <v Speaker 4>move Scarlting Violet maybe ahead of you Deluxe. But like, <v Speaker 4>I think their top five is solid because as everything <v Speaker 4>we can rank Pokemon games. <v Speaker 1>We can definitely do that all right, Patreons and members. <v Speaker 1>If you want more of the show and you're not <v Speaker 1>a Patreon and you're not a YouTube member, here's how <v Speaker 1>easy it is. If you're on YouTube, next to the <v Speaker 1>chat button, there's a little icon, and you hit that <v Speaker 1>and you become a member. And if you do that <v Speaker 1>right now, then we're gonna end this yep, and we're <v Speaker 1>gonna go live again with a whole nother bonus episode <v Speaker 1>that's behind a paywall, and we're gonna be ranking every <v Speaker 1>single Pokemon game and also continuing the fun that we've <v Speaker 1>been having today, the ghost, the gaffs and all the <v Speaker 1>little sillies that we do. So we're gonna do that, <v Speaker 1>and then if you want to join on Patreon, you <v Speaker 1>can click a link in the description you can go <v Speaker 1>over to Patreon. I will say that the Patreon experience <v Speaker 1>is much much nicer, But if you're just looking for <v Speaker 1>the bonus episodes, it's a great means to an end <v Speaker 1>and supports us directly here on the channel, and I <v Speaker 1>really appreciate it. So either way you want to do it, <v Speaker 1>you get to watch the bonus episode right now. Other <v Speaker 1>than that, this was a lot of fun. Oh yeah, <v Speaker 1>I do the super chats I always forget. Let's do that, <v Speaker 1>Go ahead. <v Speaker 4>Me all right? Uh oh we can split prof rock <v Speaker 4>pr five dollars. A game about ditto pretending to be <v Speaker 4>human releasing as a physical game that's actually digital feels <v Speaker 4>oddly appropriate, fully enough. <v Speaker 2>I like that. There's a lot of super chats today. <v Speaker 3>You might with the five word on the street is <v Speaker 3>they were going to call the new game's window windows <v Speaker 3>and waves, but then watched wood Ze review and changed <v Speaker 3>into wins. <v Speaker 1>That's hilarious, actually, can I I was gonna give you. <v Speaker 1>I realized I was wrong about you know how I said, <v Speaker 1>I always picked the first one. Yeah, I remember, there <v Speaker 1>is one that I different was and it was X, <v Speaker 1>and Y picked why, And I picked why because X <v Speaker 1>was that big, like. <v Speaker 4>I don't know what word to use, but it was <v Speaker 4>very ethereal and like pretty blue creature. But the Why <v Speaker 4>was the red. <v Speaker 1>It was like the dark red, like angry looking, like <v Speaker 1>like one that I wanted to have. <v Speaker 2>So I actually flipped and did why for that one. <v Speaker 4>You know what, I actually realized I picked the games <v Speaker 4>based off the legendaries, so whoever it's on the box <v Speaker 4>art for these for Winds and weights really actually determined <v Speaker 4>which one. <v Speaker 1>I well, can I tell you something else? I assumed <v Speaker 1>I was going to get wins. Did what did I say? <v Speaker 1>I was gonna make it wins. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I don't know why I said that, because like, the <v Speaker 1>whole thing that I love about this game is the ocean, <v Speaker 1>and also winds is again it's like ethereal, it's like <v Speaker 1>light airy where it's waves, like the scary darkness and <v Speaker 1>getting waves. And you're from Australia. So I actually told <v Speaker 1>a little bit of a fib and this will be <v Speaker 1>the second time in my life that I picked the <v Speaker 1>second Pokemon. <v Speaker 2>People whined there a little bit all right. <v Speaker 1>Also, sorry, someone pointed out in our discord, I forgot <v Speaker 1>who it was. I apologize that it all kind of <v Speaker 1>boils down to red and blue in the end when <v Speaker 1>you think about it for the most part, even like <v Speaker 1>scarlet and Violet is kind of like, you know, you <v Speaker 1>got the reds of blue, and then X and Y <v Speaker 1>is the red and the blue. Like legendary they broke <v Speaker 1>it all down, and I was like, oh, the only <v Speaker 1>ones that don't fall into it were literally black and white. <v Speaker 2>But even like some of the. <v Speaker 4>Eyes they said the cooked one's eyes are red and blue, <v Speaker 4>but even yes, oh that is true. And then sun <v Speaker 4>and moon was it's also like the bright red sun <v Speaker 4>and like the coolish moon. <v Speaker 2>It's only oddball on is leaf green. I don't know <v Speaker 2>why they didn't like make it blue recruit like a remake. <v Speaker 1>Well, it was red and blue and then also there <v Speaker 1>was green. Was red and green before blue, and I <v Speaker 1>think that's why it ended up being fire red and <v Speaker 1>leaf green, which is weird. Why did we get that <v Speaker 1>and not fire red and like deep blue or something <v Speaker 1>exactly that. <v Speaker 3>Actually, I was thinking what would work with blue? Deep <v Speaker 3>blue works? Blue is sick, but you would have to <v Speaker 3>put blue. Yeah, deep blue words, Okay, okay, sorry, let's where. <v Speaker 3>Oh my god, we just got like five members. Oh <v Speaker 3>my gosh, Holy Toxic Alchemist Chubbles, which is a great name, <v Speaker 3>Troubles three sixty five that uh bats and Dan the <v Speaker 3>Fan thank you oh so much. <v Speaker 2>We got four new members to hang out with right now. <v Speaker 2>I see three of the ones here too. <v Speaker 4>We have Darth Vader of the Darth Vader Play, Crip <v Speaker 4>Clipper and Mirrors On. <v Speaker 2>My god, that's almost ten new people are gonna hang <v Speaker 2>out with. <v Speaker 4>Us. <v Speaker 2>Thank you so much, appreciate you guys. <v Speaker 4>Go ahead, Okay, going ahead, y'all gonna do training to <v Speaker 4>the K two dollar Nation. Y'all gonna do a show <v Speaker 4>at the next too many Games, so that would be <v Speaker 4>cool and I know the guys would love it. I <v Speaker 4>told too many Games I did not want to be <v Speaker 4>a guest this year because I didn't want the obligation <v Speaker 4>of having to be there. Oh yeah, I don't know, <v Speaker 4>because the panel would be cool and we can all <v Speaker 4>go and do a live show for sure. Yeah yeah, <v Speaker 4>but I did specifically say I didn't want to be <v Speaker 4>a guest this year, so I need to fet that out, see. <v Speaker 2>Right now, around it right now? No, yeah, but we'll see. <v Speaker 4>We'll see uh prop rock again with two dollars. No <v Speaker 4>special effects here, all hair looks amazing. <v Speaker 2>Oh, thank you so much. <v Speaker 4>Nice going you down. Rick Staine's five dollars. Wood's enthusiasm <v Speaker 4>on RI nine on Switch two makes me think why <v Speaker 4>can't GTA six be on Switch to RGT eighty five <v Speaker 4>says its best. R nine has set the bar for <v Speaker 4>upcoming third party games. <v Speaker 1>I will say that after seeing how the switch really <v Speaker 1>does what it does, I don't necessarily think anything is <v Speaker 1>impossible because if you if you lower a resolution enough <v Speaker 1>and then scale it up artificially, and like r E <v Speaker 1>didn't have to remove too much lightings and features. So <v Speaker 1>if like GDA six, scaled it down enough and removed <v Speaker 1>a lot of like the heavy like effects they have <v Speaker 1>going on, and then boosted it up artificially, could we <v Speaker 1>get a playable version. I don't know how far we <v Speaker 1>can push this thing. Maybe, but I've said this before, <v Speaker 1>but I do kind of want Resident in the president <v Speaker 1>Evial GDA six to be so groundbreaking and so like <v Speaker 1>the next evolution of video games that it just won't <v Speaker 1>fit on the switch. Like I'm okay with this one <v Speaker 1>thing being like the next, because the next step, you know, <v Speaker 1>we'll see Booty. <v Speaker 4>By Hersch at the five dollars Dono petition to get <v Speaker 4>Donkey on the podcast, Hey, I would honestly love it. <v Speaker 4>I'll level with you, guys. <v Speaker 1>There is a branch of YouTube that I have absolutely <v Speaker 1>no connection with, and they're very much like this big <v Speaker 1>like click and Donkey's in that, and I've never managed <v Speaker 1>to I have no association and no contact will break <v Speaker 1>my way in. But I will say that Donkey's an <v Speaker 1>inspiration to a lot of creators, and I think he's hilarious. <v Speaker 1>I never missed an upload, very funny. I've always kind <v Speaker 1>of felt like he would hate my content. <v Speaker 2>He's very critical. <v Speaker 3>Anybody who watches Donkey will feel that he would if <v Speaker 3>there created Donkey would probably. <v Speaker 2>I feel like my content's kind of content that he <v Speaker 2>means on half the time. So I don't know. <v Speaker 4>I don't know. He seems like a nice guy, but <v Speaker 4>and I say this with the love in my heart, <v Speaker 4>but I don't know if he would respect what I <v Speaker 4>created a. <v Speaker 3>Video not too long ago with the switch to talking <v Speaker 3>about switch to like doom and Gloomers. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, but like he doesn't ever, He's never referenced me <v Speaker 1>or put me in that category. <v Speaker 2>He did reference some of your friends. <v Speaker 1>My friends, yeah, like Dreamcast guy I think and Spawn <v Speaker 1>have been caught up in his videos before, which kind <v Speaker 1>of tells me, because like, he must know I exist. <v Speaker 4>Of course he does, so the fact that I guess <v Speaker 4>one of these guys, the fact that I'm not in <v Speaker 4>there so far kind of tells me that, like I'm <v Speaker 4>kind of skating by without being on his radar as <v Speaker 4>far as a problem. <v Speaker 2>But I really don't know. <v Speaker 1>If my kind of content is maybe like that last <v Speaker 1>one I made with the high editing in the comedy <v Speaker 1>when I'm being critical, he might actually like that. But <v Speaker 1>I think a lot of my like I love Pokemon <v Speaker 1>winds and waves. Yeah, I don't know if that's his vibe. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>so I don't know. <v Speaker 2>But anyway, he's not seeing this, but I would love <v Speaker 2>to have him on if he would be interested. <v Speaker 4>And last, but at least charge you the five dollars. <v Speaker 4>Just bought the game through Walmart plus that I could <v Speaker 4>play it sooner rather than later, only to see that <v Speaker 4>it is a game key card. <v Speaker 2>You well, it's already out. <v Speaker 1>But from what I've been told, you can play game <v Speaker 1>key cards if you get them if it's early. Because <v Speaker 1>Austin john Plays got a game key card early, like <v Speaker 1>a week or so ago, and he shared it and <v Speaker 1>people were like, you can't even play it, and he commented, yes, <v Speaker 1>I can work just fine. Interesting, So yeah, if you <v Speaker 1>get a broken Street Date gamekey card, it will proxy <v Speaker 1>because I imagine they do that. <v Speaker 2>What is happening back there with that monitor today, I. <v Speaker 1>Imagine they do that so that, like, you know, if <v Speaker 1>there's like a midnight launch or something, people aren't like <v Speaker 1>going home and like locked out a plane, like just <v Speaker 1>to avoid anything. I think they just want it to <v Speaker 1>work like a regular card. You just have to download it. <v Speaker 1>So yeah, I think it does actually work. <v Speaker 2>Cool. Is it just me? <v Speaker 1>Or is the RGT the growing Up Bowser Junior? I <v Speaker 1>don't know what that means sketches, but thanks for the two. <v Speaker 1>And then we also got Amanda Amanda Hugging Kiss Amanda <v Speaker 1>McRobert became a member here on YouTube as well. <v Speaker 2>That's all we got. <v Speaker 1>If you joined on Patreon, wait, let me see it <v Speaker 1>pings on my phone. It probably won't because I'm you know, <v Speaker 1>they don't actually see that in the chat. No new <v Speaker 1>patreons right now, none from the last hour, but they <v Speaker 1>ping on my phone, so if you did, I would know, <v Speaker 1>all right. These are the VPA v IP patreons who <v Speaker 1>support the show every single week in the VIP category. <v Speaker 1>They help make the show even more possible than everyone. <v Speaker 1>But everybody helps makes this show possible, whether you're a. <v Speaker 4>Patreon member, a YouTube member, or just a subscriber and <v Speaker 4>a viewer. <v Speaker 2>Again, the show's doing great. <v Speaker 1>It's healthy, it's a live and it's because of viewers <v Speaker 1>and watches and listeners like you so thank you so much. <v Speaker 1>I hope you enjoyed today's episode.
