Episode 195 | Sexyy Red & Tyler, FYRE Fest II, & It Gets Morbid
We’re back from vacation! Well everyone (except Rory) had a vacation. Rory shares how he never made it to the Bahamas, as well as a series of unfortunate events. Meanwhile, Julian was being wholesome with his parents upstate and Eddin was DJing all over the city. Then Demaris, (who’s now sick) but was showing her cheeks in Mexico. However, she wasn’t the only one throwing it back…Tyler The Creator stunted on Sexyy Red. Is Drake releasing his album? (by the time this comes out we’ll know) but we speculate in the meantime. Speaking of music news, Big Billy McFarland is back releasing the first tickets to Fyre Fest II. We might have to do a team trip to the festival. Then we discuss tragic news of the sentencing of the Ohio girl that intentionally drove her car into a wall killing two people. *Trigger Warning* this leads to a conversation about suicidal thoughts. We end with voicemails and get a callback from Spiderman (Cosmo). Tune in as the team returns to the studio fresh off vacation and dives into the culture.

You look like strawberry sexy pink. 00:04:26 Speaker 3: So I'll start with a new parenting mistakes. Did the wrong paperwork for Amara to lead the States Yanks? I did Land, and see I didn't know Land wasn't flight. 00:04:39 Speaker 5: Jesus fucking right. 00:04:41 Speaker 6: Land, Like when you let the land you could a sknucker in the carry on. 00:04:45 Speaker 1: Wait, no, this is just really happened. I swear to god, you know, this was the worst week of my life. Wait what got it? 00:04:54 Speaker 3: I had a six am flight leaving from Nork to to the Bahamas direct. It was like the first time ever I've scheduled like a trip because you know, like I don't I've never. 00:05:04 Speaker 1: Really go on vacation or anything like that. Yeah, so I was super excited. 00:05:07 Speaker 3: You guys could even hear it in my fucking voice, even like our RAM radio shit. We did pre recorded episodes where I'm like, I'm in the Bahamas, right, now I was setting myself up for failure. I don't know if it's bad karma. I don't know if it's what I deserve. I got to Newark Airport well rested, well packed, ready to go. 00:05:26 Speaker 1: Yeah, everything was ready. 00:05:27 Speaker 6: I get to. 00:05:29 Speaker 3: Newark Airport super on time. Paperwork is completely fucked up. We're good to go, except for Amara. I'm like, but she's six months Like how much paperwork could I fuck up? 00:05:39 Speaker 6: Problem? 00:05:40 Speaker 3: Like, do you think I'm smuggling something within my child? 00:05:43 Speaker 6: Here? 00:05:45 Speaker 3: They say no, and I'm like, there's no way around this. I do the Karen thing. What's the male Karen? I do every last thing. I called my father. There's nothing to do with the United Airlines. It still doesn't work. So I'm like, all right, fuck it, I never get time off. Let's reroute. So I start looking up even Miami flights. There was nothing direct. 00:06:06 Speaker 5: I did not know. 00:06:07 Speaker 3: New York to Miami doesn't exist anymore. 00:06:10 Speaker 1: New York to Miami doesn't there new Laguardier. 00:06:13 Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm telling you. On a Friday, there was nothing. Saturday, there was some it was all booked up or it was three different stops. 00:06:19 Speaker 1: I'm like, when I was going to Miami, Miami. It was fucking NonStop all the. 00:06:24 Speaker 5: Time, and direct flights sell out really quickly now so fast. 00:06:27 Speaker 3: Yeah, and even though it's a day of Like I knew they'd be overly priced, but it was like seventeen hundred dollars for economy to go to Charlotte and then Miami. I'm like, yo, flights have gotten fucking ridiculous crazy. 00:06:40 Speaker 1: Yeah. 00:06:41 Speaker 6: So I'm like, all right, when I was a kid, Obama's fault. 00:06:44 Speaker 1: My dad took me to key West. Let me do key West. 00:06:49 Speaker 3: So I get a flight to Atlanta, and then from Atlanta to key West already was kind of a you know, upsetting thing because I wanted to go to the Bahamas. I'm also with a toddler, not a toddler, a fucking newborn in the airport for god knows how long we get to key West Land. First thing I see is a podcast fan and says, good to see another black man out here in Key West. 00:07:15 Speaker 5: I like that guy, hilarious. 00:07:19 Speaker 1: It's like, where did I just land? Yeah? Key West, welcome, Good for where did I just land? Luggage lost? Nah, don't say that luggage lost. 00:07:29 Speaker 3: All of Lamara's stuff lost, all divers lost everything lost. Amara has no clothes. We have no clothes nothing. 00:07:37 Speaker 6: Oh my god, all your new balance parish. 00:07:43 Speaker 1: I was already feeling away. 00:07:44 Speaker 3: I'm like key West and I'm not shipping on key West. She was very much like this, it's not and we're thinking, like, all right, maybe because she has the land and sea paperwork. 00:07:55 Speaker 1: We could get on a ferry and get to the Bahamas. 00:07:59 Speaker 3: It rained the whole fucking time, whether it was fucking crazy. 00:08:08 Speaker 6: Texting me so much. 00:08:09 Speaker 1: I was like, it sounds like a fucking terrible movie man with a six month Oh oh my god. 00:08:17 Speaker 3: So then Saturday rolls around, we know we're not going to the Bahamas. Were still no clothes. I'm going on top of that, you know, like key West is like a tourist town. Absolutely no, just it's okay, laughing, I'm feeling better about it. 00:08:31 Speaker 6: But also I just say, you a funny ass meme like yesterday. So Dad goes in in hand. 00:08:37 Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm I'm like trying to buy t shirts for Amar, but key West is like a tourist town. So I'm paying on top of all the money I'm losingh throughout this entire situation to be inside a hotel room in rainy Key West when I should have paid my fucking. 00:08:50 Speaker 1: Ass and Jersey City Mark it was nice and ery. 00:08:53 Speaker 3: I'm paying seventy five dollars per t shirt for Amar because you know, all the baby shit is like gift. There's no like regular price clothes out there. 00:09:00 Speaker 6: Damn it says try that in a small town on the chest. 00:09:04 Speaker 5: That's funny. 00:09:06 Speaker 3: I'm like, all right, you know what, fuck it. Let me go dolphin watching, let me go paras sailing. Let me try to make something that is fucking trup. 00:09:14 Speaker 1: Make the best of it. 00:09:15 Speaker 3: There's one nice day rolls around eight o'clock in the morning. The babysitter calls me, hey, I'm looking at the radar right now, because no one checks the weather on your apps and Key West because they're they're smarter than us. I'm like, no, I'm looking at the app. It says it's gonna be seventy nine in sunny. It's like I'm looking at the radar, sir. There's a hurricane coming. All my dolphin trips get fucking canceled. My parents sailing gets canceled. I touched my feet, touched the pool for the first night when we got in at ten thirty at night. 00:09:46 Speaker 1: I stayed in the hotel room. 00:09:47 Speaker 6: For the entire roy quarantine for vacation and ten brand doing it. 00:09:55 Speaker 1: Oh god, damn, damn, bro, that's fuck. 00:09:58 Speaker 6: That's a sign. 00:10:00 Speaker 3: And then and then like didn't cancel one of the babysitters. 00:10:02 Speaker 6: So now I'm just like. 00:10:04 Speaker 3: Nikki Almara just sitting there like talking to the babysitter in a small ass hotel. 00:10:09 Speaker 1: Award you hung out with her even we were waiting. 00:10:13 Speaker 3: Because you know, in the Islands, even though it's the islands, like sometimes ship changes really quickly, and we were trying to be like optimistic about ship and that's where you bro, it was it was the work, bro. 00:10:26 Speaker 1: I'm sorry it was so I feel for you. That just sounds like a fucking night. 00:10:30 Speaker 5: Well, did you get some of your money back from like the. 00:10:33 Speaker 3: The fucking United refunded me and then gave me a fee for the being refunded. Did you get I had to pay a thousand dollars to get refunded. 00:10:41 Speaker 6: Did you get your luggage back? 00:10:43 Speaker 7: Yeah? 00:10:43 Speaker 1: In New York when I landed, hold. 00:10:48 Speaker 8: I no, no, did they the luggage or did you forget to pick up your luggage in Atlanta and bring it with you to Key West. 00:10:53 Speaker 1: Why wait what? 00:10:54 Speaker 6: Yeah? Sometimes when I picked my luggage for you don't grab your luggage. They take care of it. Yeah. 00:11:00 Speaker 5: Not always. 00:11:01 Speaker 8: When I just landed, I had to pick up my luggage and hand it back like I had to move. 00:11:06 Speaker 6: No no, no, no no no no no. 00:11:07 Speaker 1: You're talking about like you you had your carry on and you and you checked it at the gate. 00:11:11 Speaker 8: My checked bags I had to pick up off the belt and take to the other checked place that I was going. Now, this might have been because I was flying internationally. I don't know if Atlanta does that every other one. 00:11:22 Speaker 3: It never left Newark, why would it be in like it never left Nork. 00:11:25 Speaker 5: That's what you saying. 00:11:26 Speaker 3: Yes, it never left. 00:11:28 Speaker 2: Because when you probably when you canceled the Bahamas thing. 00:11:31 Speaker 3: But we put the Key West and then we called every single day and they're like, it's on the way. Then the next day they were like, oh yeah, it's in Key West. Went to the key West airport. They were like we don't have ship and they were like no, I'm like, no, it's not. And I never left North. 00:11:46 Speaker 6: I know, I was laughing, but this is getting sad. 00:11:48 Speaker 1: Now that's a nightmare. I'm sorry, that's that's tough. 00:11:52 Speaker 3: And then on top of that, I'll make it even worse Amara, just because I then had to go buy diapers and all that ship she caught a rash and she was having a fucking It was the worst experience ever. 00:12:06 Speaker 1: Yeah, man, it was it. 00:12:07 Speaker 3: No, I did not have a vacation. 00:12:08 Speaker 1: Oh man, that's I don't know what I did in the past life. 00:12:11 Speaker 5: I can't. 00:12:12 Speaker 3: It was something I did in current life to deserve that week, but something in a past life. 00:12:18 Speaker 6: Someone put that on your rising moon must be gone. 00:12:20 Speaker 1: You know. Hurricanes, hurricane rain, they start the same like path where like the slave ships came from. 00:12:26 Speaker 3: Like, that's not where hurricanes start. 00:12:28 Speaker 2: Yeah, it starts in the middle of the ocean. 00:12:30 Speaker 1: It's just but it takes the same path as the slave trade ships and went. 00:12:34 Speaker 6: To l A. 00:12:35 Speaker 1: Well, no, that's what that ship they had it. Can we talk about that she in l A. People were going crazy for just rain and maybe some winds. 00:12:43 Speaker 6: It was a tropical state. 00:12:44 Speaker 5: No, no, no, no, no, no no, no, that was no. 00:12:46 Speaker 8: It was way more serious than la. They also had an earthquake at the same exact times. Yes, and they had a tornado warning as well. So they had a hurricane, an earthquake, and the tornado. 00:12:58 Speaker 3: Tornado warnings happened here all the time. 00:13:01 Speaker 1: Was a combination. 00:13:03 Speaker 6: The combination store got some flooding. 00:13:05 Speaker 5: Though there was some flooding there. 00:13:06 Speaker 1: They have flooding when it just rains in La. This sewage system is terrible. 00:13:10 Speaker 6: I have friends saying there were people trying to like panic shop and they didn't know what to gether. They were getting like essential oils and avocado. LA doesn't know what to do. 00:13:18 Speaker 1: But I'm speaking. I'm speaking to my people that's in La, and I'm still going to deliver. Yeah, but I'm speaking. That sounds to me. They're like, bro, this ship is not that bad. Like this is like it's it's like when Atlanta gets us now. 00:13:32 Speaker 2: It's like it's not what people are making it seem on social media. 00:13:35 Speaker 3: So the first night I was in Key West, I could not sleep. But you know, like when you just go through a very tumultuous day, you miss your window asleep, Like just your. 00:13:45 Speaker 1: Body is just like you want a whole different frequents even though you're exhausted. 00:13:49 Speaker 3: Everything in your brains autopilot. So I stayed out in the pool area. They shut down all the lights and whatever. I don't think I was supposed to be there, but put my feet in the water and was just chilling. And three people had the same idea and were sneaking into the pool. They were jumping off the thing. I witnessed my first thrupple of two guys and one girl, and it was very uncomfortable. 00:14:15 Speaker 6: Okay, like they started sucking at the pool. 00:14:18 Speaker 3: They didn't fuck, but you could clearly see all three of them were together. 00:14:22 Speaker 6: Together on vacation, like they were just exceptionally horny. 00:14:26 Speaker 1: I mean they were. 00:14:28 Speaker 3: Can you imagine a couple that like sneaks into the pool after dark, now add another dude. 00:14:35 Speaker 6: That's a lot. You were you that. 00:14:37 Speaker 1: I don't care about the two, No, I was not. 00:14:38 Speaker 3: I was just subserving, you know, clearly with my vibrant skin. 00:14:42 Speaker 1: I wasn't part of the high. 00:14:44 Speaker 6: Were the guys into each other or were they. 00:14:47 Speaker 3: Into the girl? 00:14:48 Speaker 6: That's cool? Cool for that. 00:14:49 Speaker 3: They both had speedos on, so I assume they were overseas. 00:14:52 Speaker 1: That's that's what you assume. I assume something else when I see God, I just said. 00:15:00 Speaker 3: Just came back from It was very interesting, though, I've never seen a throttle with two men. 00:15:04 Speaker 6: That's interesting to take some balls. 00:15:06 Speaker 1: You had a terrible Let me just put that you have vaca. 00:15:10 Speaker 3: I need a vacation. 00:15:11 Speaker 1: Oh damn that sucked up, man, Yeah that sucks. 00:15:13 Speaker 6: I was really home and my parents were like what did you? What is everyone doing? And I was like listing everyone's thing and I was like, Rory's finally taking like he never goes on vacation. I was like, big into this up. I was like, I'm so happy. I was so happy for him. 00:15:25 Speaker 1: It was such a vacation that I did not want to hit anybody. I think for text, nobody appreciate you. I don't want to like you know what I'm saying. I was like, it's a real like off the grid. Everybody just go with a separate ways and do whatever. 00:15:37 Speaker 6: They want to do. I was still working, so and then if I was, and. 00:15:39 Speaker 1: Then Julian is tagging me in ice cream cone pictures and somebody like me and a picture of him on the trampoline, like why is he jumping so high? 00:15:47 Speaker 2: And I said, you know why he's jumping that high? 00:15:49 Speaker 6: Why? 00:15:49 Speaker 1: I'm all, I can't say it. 00:15:51 Speaker 6: But I was with my kniece and my nephew. That wings on is hilarious. 00:15:57 Speaker 3: I'll take it even further. So Monday came and I was like, should we just leave? 00:16:01 Speaker 1: We should? Just when did you get there Friday? And Monday? You wait, actually should we leave? 00:16:06 Speaker 3: We were trying to like I would have been positive and like trying to maybe go see dolphins and like maybe parasl I was booking babysitter, like I was trying to figure out, like, let's make the most of. 00:16:17 Speaker 2: It, booking a babysitter out of town. 00:16:19 Speaker 3: No, I booked nanny already for the Bahamas. I was gonna have a vacation, not for the whole time, like but just like hours out the day nanny. 00:16:28 Speaker 1: Yeah, I get it. He didn't know God's playing. Definitely didn't know God didn't know God's playing. See that's the problem. See you're not listening to the song right way the problem. So he was in Florida the video. You ain't even do that, man. 00:16:44 Speaker 6: Monday came, so. 00:16:48 Speaker 3: I couldn't get a flight on Monday. We leave on Tuesday, right, and I'm like, why is this flight from key West to Charlotte overbooked on a Tuesday? And I end up sitting next to a flight attendant, like, that's just sitting on the plane. He's not part of the crew. And no, oh no, no, we were in thirty middle seat. 00:17:09 Speaker 6: Damn. 00:17:10 Speaker 3: He said, Oh, you're lucky today. I'm like, am I lucky? Why is this flight so booked? He said, Oh, there was two bird strikes yesterday. 00:17:17 Speaker 6: Oh my god. 00:17:19 Speaker 3: He showed me pictures of both engines on fire as they were taking off during a bird Holy shit, I said, this place is curts. Give me the fuck out of here. I was terrified on the fight. To him, like his karma, my karma. Everyone in his flight's karma is like, we're going down for sure. 00:17:37 Speaker 1: Yeah, there was two bird strikes. They had to He was like, they're. 00:17:40 Speaker 3: Flying in engines, like, I'm sorry, not flying in driving in like on trucks to rebuild this plane from the day before. Two bird strikes in one day. 00:17:51 Speaker 5: That's great. 00:17:52 Speaker 1: Yeah, that just sounds like I don't know, man, I don't even know what that was. I'm just happy that you're you're safe. Everybody made it back to New York safe. The Maaris was on the beach showing ass Oh, I'm in her close. 00:18:05 Speaker 5: I actually put the entire crew in my close friends from it. 00:18:07 Speaker 1: Yeah, but but see you could put us in close friends, but like, you ain't got to show the ass though. 00:18:11 Speaker 6: I was with my niece and your booty hole was on my phone. 00:18:14 Speaker 1: You didn't have to look at you. 00:18:15 Speaker 6: You don't have to. 00:18:15 Speaker 5: Really, Yeah, you did not seem can you? 00:18:18 Speaker 1: Can you say you're full of ship? 00:18:20 Speaker 6: Literally? 00:18:20 Speaker 3: Because we started like two episodes ago. I was like, you're gonna show out in Mexico. You're like, I'm going with a married couple with kids. It's going to the calmest trip. You did not stop shaking your butthole the entire trip with the married couple, like we said. 00:18:36 Speaker 1: And you're like, no, it's not like they got the number. Bringing now you got a cold. 00:18:40 Speaker 6: She's sick right now. 00:18:41 Speaker 1: You see what happens when you shake. 00:18:43 Speaker 5: So do you have a cold? 00:18:43 Speaker 1: Do you admit you're a liar? 00:18:45 Speaker 7: Oh? 00:18:45 Speaker 3: For that? 00:18:46 Speaker 8: Hold on, let me let me. I'm gonna say this and I'm just gonna keep it really brief. Do you think that I was doing what I wanted to do? 00:18:52 Speaker 1: Yes? Oh, you can't shake ass and post close like I'm the leader of. 00:18:58 Speaker 6: The bad bitches. It was like you were like, I send yourself up on the cot. 00:19:02 Speaker 1: Was up the leader of the bad bitch them do this, They're boring old. 00:19:08 Speaker 6: You were the Lizzo of that grip with peer pressure. You were like, get up, bitch, that's crazy. 00:19:14 Speaker 8: Right now, and they will tell you that they dragged me out of eye. When I go on vacation, I want too late in ten. That's all I want to do is get as black as possible and drink. They wanted to be lit, they wanted to go out all that stuff. I was with somebody for their birthday vacation. So I did what they wanted to do, And of course I'm gonna make the best out of it. Yeah, I had a good time on the boat with the boat the boat tab was was. But yes, I did put all of you on my close friends because I know that you would make fun of me. 00:19:42 Speaker 1: Oh no, I just I saw one. I saw one video. I was like, you know what, the next time this green ring comes around, I'm not clicking on it. I don't even want to. I don't want to see the marriages. 00:19:51 Speaker 3: As stammin it too. It's like five days in a row of women. Get women, get this extra bootle vacation. 00:20:00 Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I'm not doing ship like I'm fucking tanning and getting drunk the entire time here. But yeah, it's good to see that everybody had a good time. Only your your backhand looks great. Excuse yeah, man. So now we're back to talk about the coaching ship that's been going on. It's a lot of ship that's been going on. 00:20:18 Speaker 3: I will say though, I think I came out of that experience stronger. 00:20:21 Speaker 1: Well, you can only come up what doesn't broke you down. That's now you see how real that is? 00:20:26 Speaker 3: Right, So Rory was because as a family unit, like as a crew, I was proud of us. 00:20:31 Speaker 1: Yeah, Amara really held on. They really held it down because we could have all lost it. Yeah, and it could have got bad. We held it down. 00:20:39 Speaker 3: We just we laughed in the face of death throughout that and that's all you can that's all you can do. 00:20:44 Speaker 5: So, Rory, wasn't Hurricane Hillary that you came into contact with. 00:20:48 Speaker 1: I don't know. 00:20:49 Speaker 3: I don't know who's Hillary, Bill Biden. 00:20:51 Speaker 1: I don't know who. 00:20:53 Speaker 8: Okay, So because Hillary is the reason why La was getting drowned. I I was originally supposed to go to Cabo and and five hours before my flight, somebody told me like, oh, they're having a hurricane over there. And I looked and was like, there was literally a hurricane passing from Cabo into La So I had to rebook every single thing. I lost like fucking one thousand dollars going because I couldn't go to Cabo, and I was like, I don't want to ruin my vacation, like it's the only time we have off, and I had to switch it to ken Kun. I lost everything we had pre booked, like excursions, flights, hotel if the only thing money we got back was the hotel because the hotel was like, yeah, there's a hurricane coming, y'all can have y'all money back. 00:21:30 Speaker 5: Everybody else. 00:21:32 Speaker 6: I spend forty dollars and went upstate. Yeah I didn't. I was kind of home. Was of the time. 00:21:36 Speaker 2: Forty dollars to get right upstate, right upstate. 00:21:38 Speaker 5: You got a manicure, you took the training. 00:21:40 Speaker 2: Look at you, Yeah a DJ should have nice, Yeah we should have. 00:21:43 Speaker 3: I mean ramen noodles till December. 00:21:48 Speaker 5: Sang well, look. 00:21:50 Speaker 1: Man, I'm sorry, Rory. I hate that you went through that, but again, it made the family stronger. It brought you out together. You learned that through tumultuous times they can hold you down and will hold you down. 00:22:05 Speaker 3: You know, because it was raining. I was on my phone actually looking at ship when I was trying to be off it. 00:22:10 Speaker 1: I see Tyler got a BBL. He's living his best life. 00:22:13 Speaker 7: What is like? 00:22:14 Speaker 1: I wanted to I wanted to be here. Don't put this on Tyler. So Tyler to create it. And you know Tyler, he's been known for his his wild poses and this ship dumb, thick and things like that. So he took a picture with sexy red. 00:22:25 Speaker 3: It appears that it does cuff a little bit better than than red. 00:22:27 Speaker 6: Look at that shadow, guys, please, is that photoshop? 00:22:31 Speaker 3: No? 00:22:32 Speaker 5: No, his pants are just exceptionally. 00:22:33 Speaker 6: He is thick, and he's thick. Tyler the Stallion. 00:22:37 Speaker 2: Well, I think he has this phone in his pocket. 00:22:40 Speaker 6: You're saying the phone makes that phone doesn't curve? 00:22:44 Speaker 1: Is that a Galaxy tenth? He's got a curved l G TV. 00:22:49 Speaker 6: Talked in there. 00:22:49 Speaker 1: You know, when I saw this on the list, I said, there's no way to talk about this and not just feel nasty, like we're talking about Tyler's poles and a wide one he got a BBL or whatever. 00:22:57 Speaker 2: But no, Tyler didn't get a fucking BBL. 00:22:59 Speaker 5: We know he didn't get to me. He just got a fat ass. 00:23:01 Speaker 6: It's so nancy. The tongue isn't even like a concern. 00:23:04 Speaker 5: No, y'all trust men with fat asses? 00:23:06 Speaker 7: I got. 00:23:06 Speaker 3: I haven't really like gotten. 00:23:10 Speaker 1: Demes. How do you just throw these questions. 00:23:12 Speaker 6: Out where a market research men with fat ass? 00:23:16 Speaker 1: How do you just throw that out? 00:23:18 Speaker 3: What man would you have we met that you know to have a fat ass? I can't if I'm jogging my memory, I can't think I've sat and watched me like Duke. 00:23:25 Speaker 1: Duke got a fat ass, That's what I'm like. How do you even asked a question like that? 00:23:30 Speaker 8: I don't know, because women like I know me personally. I just don't trust men with fat asss. I met a man with a fat ass and can't cool. He was over there trying to act like he's straight, but I caught him dancing. 00:23:42 Speaker 6: He's gaggs. He danced a wop. He's on vacation. 00:23:45 Speaker 3: Wait, a man can't have a fat ass, like genetically have. 00:23:48 Speaker 6: A nice ass. 00:23:49 Speaker 5: You do not have a fat ass, Julian, what is going. 00:23:53 Speaker 6: I'm not saying it's fast, not like Tyler's. I mean that's he's got something. 00:23:56 Speaker 5: So y'all with men with why hips and like fat asses, y'all trust them. 00:24:00 Speaker 1: Got their d I don't have what. I've never looked at his backside. 00:24:06 Speaker 6: I just he do be wearing a lot of sweats and hoodies. 00:24:10 Speaker 1: He's definitely has like the baggy looks. Tell what he's hiding under there. 00:24:13 Speaker 5: I'm just like, you know, mom is about to fire every single one included. 00:24:17 Speaker 1: I'm just trying to understand how we got to fat asses like Tyler. 00:24:20 Speaker 5: Y'all pulled up Tyler. 00:24:22 Speaker 1: Yeah, but like sexy Redd. 00:24:23 Speaker 2: Is in the picture as well, though, Oh. 00:24:24 Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, but one has a significantly better ass than the other. 00:24:28 Speaker 1: Oh I mean, I'm just looking at Sexy Red in that picture. I mean I get it. Tyler's there, he's Tyler's there. He's Tyler. He's there, he's being Tyler. But I'm not even I'm not paid attention to Tyler. 00:24:38 Speaker 5: You're ready to admit that Sexy Redd ain't going nowhere? 00:24:40 Speaker 3: What does that have to do with this photo? Oh no, she's gonna be around for a little bit. 00:24:45 Speaker 6: Oh yeah, you still him. 00:24:49 Speaker 1: What did he say before, like she's she's she's out of here like in a year. Yeah, I didn't he. 00:24:55 Speaker 5: Put the clock on her, and I no, he put the clock on Ice Spies. 00:24:59 Speaker 3: He said, WHOA, All right, now, you guys are taken everything social class. I said, did the clock start when she did? DELI when it's the same shit over and over, did the clock start? I was asking, because that's a bobb with Sexy Red, I'm saying, officially and before that that the clock is on already. I didn't say what Ice Spice the clock was on already. I'm just asking if maybe it's looking that way now with Sexy Red. If you call that Hayton, I'll take it. I'm not a I don't want to see the girl fail. I just think the clock is on. 00:25:26 Speaker 1: Well, the one thing we do know is that she is quickly becoming everyone's favorite. She's in pictures with all of the favorites at this point. 00:25:35 Speaker 3: I agree he's the hottest ship, hottest ship right now. 00:25:39 Speaker 1: She has She had made Jason Tatum look uncomfortable, and that was with him. 00:25:43 Speaker 3: I saw that Dirk tweeted that he's about to do his feature to run and went right, Sexy Red. But this is also the cycle of and I'm not Tyler doesn't need this per se, but there's there's the cycle of the hot artists having to go to the current artist. That's how at the moment, yeah, to take some of their current relevance. 00:26:03 Speaker 1: But that's why how long does it even last for that person? Yeah? But that's the thing though, a lot of a lot of the times, you know, people do these songs with artists that are heavy in the algorithms and they're being searched the most, and then they say, let's do a record because it's all about clicks and downloads, and if your name is popular and hot right now, they're gonna run and click that. 00:26:23 Speaker 2: But my thing will always come down to is the music gonna be good? Though? 00:26:29 Speaker 1: I don't care if you're doing a song with somebody because they're popular, they're all over the algorithms, they're all over social media right now, is the music gonna be good? With Sexy Red? I don't think we have she has good songs out, she has she has some some some good songs that people are loving. 00:26:43 Speaker 6: So I don't know. 00:26:43 Speaker 1: If you say the clock is on, I don't know. Because we got to see if she's able to keep delivering with these these features. 00:26:50 Speaker 3: And I'm saying that type of music and that type of strategy, with single driven, moment driven stuff, the. 00:26:55 Speaker 1: Clock is always on. 00:26:57 Speaker 3: I mean, so, I don't think I'm hating when I say the clock is fucking on. I think it's great that she's on Drake's tour getting all those looks. She has a great two records out that are fired, she brings the women out. I know it comes across as hating, it's not. It's just not a factual thing. 00:27:12 Speaker 6: Got you. 00:27:13 Speaker 3: I think Dirk want to do a feature is great. I think her chilling with Tyler is cool. All moments for Instagram. Clock is still fucking on. I understand SKI is a great fucking song. Ann stroll away to that shit. 00:27:26 Speaker 1: She may end up. 00:27:28 Speaker 3: I think she tweeted out that she's on Drake's next project like she's gonna have her moments. I'm not saying tomorrow it's over for Sexy Red, right, but this strategy, the clock is fucking on every time. 00:27:39 Speaker 8: When you have this type of strategy, are you referring to music wise or just period because any. 00:27:44 Speaker 1: Single driven, ignorant driven. 00:27:47 Speaker 5: Right, Well, I mean when you say clock is someone's career, what do you mean by that? 00:27:51 Speaker 8: Because everybody said that the clock was on for like, let's say the City Girls right a long time ago, they said that they wouldn't last, and Karsha went and turned that into a whole different avenue of money. 00:28:02 Speaker 5: Are you seeing what I'm saying? So, do you think the clock is on for her? 00:28:05 Speaker 1: Musically? 00:28:06 Speaker 3: You answered the question here, the clock was on for City Girls even though City Girls were putting out actual projects that people like, They weren't single chasing or moment chasing. Matter of fact, this is the first time I think the City Girls are really getting the moment quote unquote moments on Instagram. They were really putting out projects for years. I don't even put the City Girls in that category. She's moment driven, single driven that as a clock. City Girls actually put a lot of work in and then Karsia clearly you know number seven, all. 00:28:36 Speaker 1: Right, get up for it, well deserved, well deserved. 00:28:41 Speaker 3: You know, have transferred into other avenues even with the free j T shit, like, they have found a way to sustain everything that they were doing. I'm not saying Sexy Red can't do that. But we're not just gonna say she can without evidence. 00:28:55 Speaker 1: Yeah, of course, yeah, we just have to continue to just watch. And like I said, she's so far, so good. She got some good singles, good songs out. She's popular amongst all of the big stars right now, big artists. 00:29:07 Speaker 3: And to be honest, it's she has a better shot because she's a woman. I think for the men that chase the moments in the singles, it's a shorter clock, right, Oh of course, poor, it's a way shorter clock. 00:29:20 Speaker 2: You look nasty as a man doing shit like that. 00:29:21 Speaker 1: It's like you get out of here, get this weirdo out of with sexy read It's like, oh I fuck with Shorty, Like take a picture of hell, get this. 00:29:28 Speaker 5: Weirdo out of my dressed. 00:29:29 Speaker 3: She seems to have really cool energy. She seems to be a real genuine person. That's where I think her value really lies rather than the actual music. And so if she can transfer that into another career, cool, But that doesn't mean that the clock is not on right now. 00:29:43 Speaker 6: I know for sure. 00:29:43 Speaker 8: I think she also has like a different I think she is creating a different loyal fan based demographic, if that makes sense, Like I think she's getting some people who may not have that may not be a loyal fan base to anybody else. I think the hood hood hood like cartoon pajama pants wearing bitches the school. She's making a loyal fan based out of them when they not might they might not be a loyal fan to anybody else because they don't see themselves at anybody. 00:30:11 Speaker 1: I feel that, No, she she definitely has that. I think she has. She has a lot working in her favor only because she still has the the the advantage where she can literally rebrand herself. She can. She can, she can tone it down. She can start putting on some nice dresses and like completely change her aesthetic and have everybody like, oh ship sexy. 00:30:33 Speaker 2: Red look sexy, like she looks good, Like you know what I'm saying. 00:30:36 Speaker 1: Like she still has that in her back pocket for right now, she's gonna the new girl on the block, the ratchet look, the you know, she's still giving you that. But when she decides to hit that switch and go from that to looking sexy, that could be a whole nother. 00:30:53 Speaker 8: But I don't think that she does that. I think if she does that, she loses her loyal fans. I think if she still to who she is, No, because cardnt but see that. But this is the thing, Sexy Red is more ratchet than Cardi. Carti was always going to switch and become who Cardi is. That was always Carti's goal. Carti always saw herself doing that. 00:31:15 Speaker 2: And you don't think that's Sexy Reds goal. 00:31:17 Speaker 5: No, I don't think that that's her goal. 00:31:18 Speaker 3: It could be eventually though a different wrong, but I don't having different experiences that could happen. 00:31:23 Speaker 8: I think her strength is in stale who she is, that loyal fan base that we were just talking about building. 00:31:28 Speaker 1: I think the strength, yeah, but your fan base has to grow with you at some point, your fan base. Everybody's not going to be twenty two to twenty three, twenty four years old forever. 00:31:36 Speaker 2: You know, ratchet girls become classy women. 00:31:38 Speaker 1: It can happen. But if she. 00:31:40 Speaker 3: Stays like the actual prescription glasses sexy Red through that transition, that's where I think she keeps that core fan base. Yeah, like staying herself because I agree with Domess that type of hood girl, I don't. I don't think they have someone to really attach themselves to Red. 00:31:54 Speaker 5: They don't and that's what the party anymore. 00:31:56 Speaker 3: Yeah, he definitely has cartoon Projace. That's like the perfect example of the type of girl that I know loves sexy Red. So when I say clock is on, I know it sounds like it's disrespectful. It's not just I know what you mean, it's disrespect We're watching this month over here at New Roy and Maul, we're doing a special series of episodes to celebrate fifty years of hip hop. 00:32:16 Speaker 6: Maull. 00:32:16 Speaker 1: We wouldn't even be podcasting it wasn't. 00:32:18 Speaker 2: For hip hop. I don't know if we would be born without it. 00:32:20 Speaker 1: We wouldn't be sitting here if it wasn't for hip hop. 00:32:21 Speaker 3: So it's extremely important to us to sit and take some time to really celebrate and reflect what hip hop has done for us for the last fifty years. But we couldn't have done that with all our friends over at eBay. 00:32:32 Speaker 1: eBay knows how important it is to be real, Rory. Yeah, Authenticity Guarantee protects buyas from fakes and gives them assurance that they're getting the real deal. Yes, you know there's a lot of fakes out there, Rory, absolutely, But eBay does a lot with the authenticity guarantee to make sure that we are not getting any fake products. 00:32:47 Speaker 2: We don't do fake and hip hop. 00:32:48 Speaker 1: No fugayzies mall. 00:32:49 Speaker 3: You know, I get paranoid every time I try to buy things on the internet because you never really know what you're gonna buy. Thank God, though, anytime I'm looking for sneakers or watches, I can go to eBay and know I'm getting exactly when I'm purchasing on that screen. 00:33:00 Speaker 2: The real deal, not the fugazi. 00:33:02 Speaker 1: Of course, I was nervous about bond sneakers online, but then I know eBay has authenticity guarantee. Went to eBay, got my retel Jordan Ones, good to go. 00:33:10 Speaker 3: That's important. eBay the details inspected, the fakes rejected, and sure your next purchase is the real deal. eBay authenticity guaranteed. Everyone deserved real Visit eBay dot com for terms. 00:33:22 Speaker 1: Fifty years of hip hop celebration continues right now with the legendary track masters. You heard Will Smith getting jiggy with oh. 00:33:29 Speaker 6: My God. 00:33:32 Speaker 1: Another small record. All right, so. 00:33:37 Speaker 2: One day this is funny. 00:33:40 Speaker 1: One day we meet Will. 00:33:44 Speaker 9: We like yo, we like this guy. 00:33:46 Speaker 10: We think that he's he's he's gonna brick us and we're gonna be finished after this project. But when we met him, we was like, yo, this guy is so nice, Like how can I say no to him? 00:33:57 Speaker 1: And he comes in he knows he's Corny's. 00:34:00 Speaker 9: Yo, bro, I'm no corniest guy in the world. But I promise you I'm not gonna. 00:34:05 Speaker 2: Let you down. 00:34:06 Speaker 1: It's gonna be a thing. 00:34:07 Speaker 9: I respect that, right, So were just like, all right, so we'll catch a break, we'll take that. 00:34:14 Speaker 6: We go in, we go, I know, we go in. 00:34:19 Speaker 9: We do the entire project in two weeks, right. 00:34:23 Speaker 3: So I go home. 00:34:26 Speaker 9: I find the no No No No, no no no, and I was like, oh, this should sound dope. 00:34:30 Speaker 6: Let me just use this. 00:34:31 Speaker 10: And then I find the greatest danceing loop and I flip it and I put it on because I was DJ and oh, yes, it's gonna work. Bring it to the studio and me and this guy are in the other room and I said, well, you're gonna do this, and you're gonna move your hands like this, and you're gonna say get in jiggy with it. 00:34:48 Speaker 9: That's all I want to say. And me and him doing the dance looking like morons. 00:34:54 Speaker 3: And before TikTok before. 00:34:57 Speaker 9: Doing the dance looking like morons and he's like jiggered it. 00:35:00 Speaker 1: So he's doing that. 00:35:01 Speaker 10: He's doing that, and then Naz comes in and Nas starts penning the song for and. 00:35:10 Speaker 1: Just went in and it just came up a little small record. 00:35:14 Speaker 9: It wasn't it wasn't identified as a single yet. It was just it was just another record that we did for the project. 00:35:20 Speaker 1: Okay, jay Z maya Best of Me remix, No noel about that word and just whole regret his stance that he took. 00:35:40 Speaker 11: That record came about obviously Steve was the a n R. And then just go back the time you are Meyer. He wanted to do a remix when the flipped it, you know, flipped the remix, flipped the track, and the only thing I can remember. 00:35:58 Speaker 1: Is that jay Z didn't want to do the record. 00:36:00 Speaker 7: It. 00:36:00 Speaker 1: Yeah, and we. 00:36:03 Speaker 11: Chased Jay two Chicago and then ultimately l A. I think he latest verse he just didn't want to do it, and I think the reason was when when we played the record he came into the Hit Factory. 00:36:20 Speaker 1: Maya was there. 00:36:20 Speaker 11: We came into the record when he walked. 00:36:22 Speaker 1: In, Maya didn't really give him. 00:36:26 Speaker 5: Oh ship hole his head. 00:36:28 Speaker 1: You know, she was more like I guess. 00:36:32 Speaker 9: A brat so to speaker, you know, like and but she's reserved. 00:36:37 Speaker 1: That's just how she is. 00:36:39 Speaker 11: It was just real cool. And then and and I know Jay was like with Style, like she don't know she's about to get a hit record. And he spent four bars to Stout, you know, on how it would the record would sound, but he wouldn't with the. 00:37:00 Speaker 1: Verse down and he left. So then but now Stout has to sell it. Now Style has to go get the record. 00:37:07 Speaker 11: Yeah, and Jay just kind of he did it for Stout of the day, you know. But I think that's the best memory that comes to play, you know, chasing j around to. 00:37:17 Speaker 1: Get that verse at her management not wanting the song. They didn't want the song? 00:37:24 Speaker 3: What how she fired them. 00:37:28 Speaker 1: That was a quick clip of our celebration of fifty years of hip hop sponsored by eBay subscribing. It doesn't feel like, Yo, Drake album is happening tonight. 00:38:09 Speaker 3: And even though he like he's on the road, I feel like, which is another weird thing for me, but he bring it up it on the road. I feel like on like on the last three shows, I feel like we would have seen at least Drake giving hints outside of me. 00:38:25 Speaker 1: But I just don't. To me an artist like Drake dropping a new album while he's currently on the road. 00:38:33 Speaker 5: I just don't know. 00:38:33 Speaker 1: Because now fans are gonna listen to the album, they're gonna probably come to the show anticipating that you're gonna perform some of these newer records. Then the cities you already did they didn't get those records. 00:38:46 Speaker 3: No, he's he's definitely putting this out while he's he's on the road till October. He's already putting out the album cover. This Ship is coming out soon. I just don't know if it's coming out tonight. 00:38:55 Speaker 1: Well, and I mean we only what eight weeks from October. 00:38:58 Speaker 6: Yeah, but Amazon Music posted about it and say and they also put the date they leak to the date, so to speak. So that was like a big rumor. And then people were just you know, tracing other things that led to this date and looking at the scope of who's dropping. And it's a pretty clear pathway. Not that Drake needs a clear pathway. He can drop onever it's a clear one, but it's wide open. He Drake is a good friend to his friends that are artists. He never steps on their releases. So and then if you look at his last solo project, Surprise, his last her Loss is different. That's twenty one. That was a big moments never mind was a surprise. 00:39:38 Speaker 1: Yeah. But even even then though that day we knew we would get in an album that night, like you just knew. 00:39:44 Speaker 3: It was like, oh no, he said, he posts on Instagram, Yeah, break album tonight, But. 00:39:48 Speaker 2: But did he didn't do that yet with this project. 00:39:51 Speaker 3: Well, I think with the Amazon thing is the interesting part because the rumor even if it is a rumor it will be Amazon exclusive. If it comes out to me, that kind of threw me off because he's had such a long relationship with Apple Music that him now going over to Amazon allegedly is kind of crazy. And maybe that is why the promotion has been a bit different and why Amazon is quote unquote leaking these things. Maybe it's contractually in their hands as far as what can go out week of because I could see everyone signing up for Amazon Music tonight. 00:40:27 Speaker 1: I don't see it. 00:40:28 Speaker 3: What would be a better strategy if you if you're having a new partnership with a new DSP. I think they announced minimal, minimal promo up until the last point and say the only way to get this is to go on Amazon Music. Right now, you're getting every impulse buyer you could think of. 00:40:47 Speaker 1: But if you give yourself up. 00:40:48 Speaker 3: Would if he announces, if he announces this shit on Monday, the amount of people I know, like myself, that would be like, all right, that shit's gonna leak eventually. Give it a few hours. You're not gonna get an impulse buyer if that ship is at midnight and Amazon Music, what's right here? Come on this Ship is coming out tonight. Jersey Son is the future as a cover artist. New Drake August twenty fifth. We don't know if that's exactly an album or a song, but this does mean at midnight, Amazon Music is going to have New Drake. If you get the impulse buyer people are doing the thirty day trial, ten day trial, whatever the fuck Amazon Music does for trials, you're getting every impulse buyer. I don't know that's a perfect strategy. I think Amazon announced it ahead of time. Get every impulse human being. Fuck it, no, let me be my phone. 00:41:39 Speaker 1: I'm different when you say that, because this is Drake you told about. You don't need impost. 00:41:45 Speaker 3: Buyers, Amazon Union, Amazon, Amazon Music, Yeah, let me sign up for If. 00:41:50 Speaker 1: It's an artist like not Drake putting out exclusive to the platform. Yeah, Drake puts out an album anywhere, you don't need impulse buyers. They are coming to buy that. They're gonna do whatever it takes to get that fucking up. 00:42:01 Speaker 6: But if Amazon has to drop on it early or any sort of level of exclusivity, Amazon's market share in the streaming it's not It's not competing with Spotify and Apple. So by giving Drake a stupid bag because at the end of day, it is Amazon. They can do that. 00:42:16 Speaker 3: Yeah, they go to the moon. 00:42:18 Speaker 6: Yeah literally, so they can, like they can afford to give him a ridiculous amount of money, and Torori's point, incentivize people to join their platform. Drake will drop anywhere. 00:42:28 Speaker 1: Same going to go correct the same thing he did. I want to say, was views? 00:42:30 Speaker 3: Which album was that that he did? The Apple Music? 00:42:33 Speaker 6: Yeah exactly, I mean that was that was when Apple was it was. 00:42:37 Speaker 3: Launching, when they did Chance, they did Drake, and I think they did one other artist. Spotify was the main stream. 00:42:42 Speaker 6: Apple had Endless too. 00:42:44 Speaker 1: Yeah, But I just I just feel like if this is the Amazon exclusive, right, I just feel like Amazon, it's a good move. 00:42:51 Speaker 2: No, it's a great move on. 00:42:52 Speaker 1: Their part, But I just don't It still doesn't Something is not connected, Something is not adding up with this. It just does not feel like it feels like maybe it was supposed to happen the twenty fifth and now some things may have changed and it's like we got to push it back. 00:43:08 Speaker 2: It does not feel like this album's coming out tonight. 00:43:09 Speaker 5: Well a single, it might just be a single that comes out tonight. 00:43:13 Speaker 1: But even all right, CLB. 00:43:16 Speaker 3: Didn't have the craziest rollout and still did more numbers than any other Drake album. 00:43:21 Speaker 1: If you're reading this, we got the night of Yeah, but CLB outside of no platform or was. 00:43:26 Speaker 3: It no But I'm just saying, as far as like Drake rollouts. 00:43:30 Speaker 6: Scorpion and CLB have an asterisk because of the pushy situation, I think those put them in a weird spot in terms of releases. 00:43:38 Speaker 3: Speaking, just streaming, Scorpion felt like a Drake album was coming out because there was so much promo around it. But we've gotten this surprise Drake albums that didn't feel like they were coming out. CLB, I didn't feel like we're definitely getting this Drake album. Hype is crazy and it's streamed better than any Drake album. 00:43:57 Speaker 6: What a time was the surprise? 00:44:00 Speaker 1: Yeah, I understand. I just thought, I don't know, man, something just I don't it's this just does not feel like it's. 00:44:07 Speaker 6: That date. That date. 00:44:08 Speaker 1: No, no, no, that date. 00:44:09 Speaker 2: I feel like that date got thrown out there prematurely and it was kind of like, Yo, why would y'all do that? 00:44:14 Speaker 3: Amazon Music verified as not putting that out without either a song or the album coming. 00:44:20 Speaker 6: Out tonight, something's coming out. 00:44:23 Speaker 1: We'll see. 00:44:24 Speaker 8: Also, I know you mentioned the Torrent thing, but the album was we we do know that the album has been supposed to come out, but he stopped and stepped out the way for Thugga correct remember that. 00:44:33 Speaker 6: Yeah? Yeah. 00:44:34 Speaker 3: Also late on the Run to Beyonce and jay Z put out a joint album mid tour. 00:44:40 Speaker 5: Yeah, mid tour. 00:44:43 Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like it's possible. And people, I mean, if they even do a fucking listening session at the next show for three or four songs with Drake, that's a cool fan experience to just listen to. 00:44:55 Speaker 1: The album because that went to the shows before the album came out, will be hot. 00:44:58 Speaker 6: I wouldn't, man, I want to know. So I want to go there seeing songs that I know. 00:45:02 Speaker 1: No, I mean that's obviously yeah, But if you can also be there when an artist like Drake's album drops and then now tonight I'm going to the show and he performs new songs that just came out, that's like different energy. It's like, oh shit, thanks, Like. 00:45:15 Speaker 3: I think that's a great way to also promote it too. Like, yeah, he's outside every single night, whether it be the club, or the show. There's gonna be a million clips of people listening to Drake shit, him talking about it on stage, like. 00:45:26 Speaker 2: I don't need that. 00:45:26 Speaker 1: He don't need that. 00:45:27 Speaker 2: Shit means nothing to He don't need to. 00:45:29 Speaker 3: It's still promo at the end of the day. 00:45:31 Speaker 1: Yeah, but he that promo shit don't apply to Drake. Drake can say you, my album's coming out in thirty minutes, and people fair people are at a fucking doubt. He ain't got a promo motherfucking thing. Like that's just the space that he's in. But we'll see if the album comes out tonight. 00:45:45 Speaker 3: I like the cover that is Sunday. I think that's dope. I think his son may have had some crazy nightmares. I'm there too, you can understand it. I've had this, I've had this night I drew that as a kid. I'm sure it's dope. And his other is a really talented artist, so you know, I don't. 00:46:03 Speaker 1: I think it's things like this though, like when you make your your your child a piece of you know, your art and what it is that you do for a living. 00:46:10 Speaker 2: Like, to me, that's that's dope. 00:46:11 Speaker 1: She like that. Like now, when when the Donnas gets older. That's something he could be like. Yeah, that was like, what if he becomes a great artist. This was legitimately his first piece. 00:46:21 Speaker 3: It taps into all the illuminati side of YouTube. Yeah, like there'll be a million fucking thing pieces by tomorrow of this drawing. Of course what him and his son already sacrificed somebody. 00:46:32 Speaker 1: Yeah people, people got too much time on their hands. Stupid shit, but either way, we'll see it for all the dogs is out tonight. We do need some new I feel like new music though. 00:46:43 Speaker 5: Victoria Money drops this Friday too. 00:46:44 Speaker 1: Victoria Money. Shout out to Victoria Money. H on my Mama video is she she she kind of restored the feeling of what videos that will be number one on on MTV, that will be number one on b T one O six in park That that that's the type of feel that that video has. It's cool to. 00:47:02 Speaker 3: See, even like through the TikTok era where everyone is kind of dancing, it was nice to see a bunch of people try to redo the choreography from a video. Yeah, I haven't seen that in a long time. I've seen like the TikTok dances to records, but the music video choreography and people trying to recreate that like brought me back to like a Leah days. 00:47:21 Speaker 1: Yeah, we went. We saw when we saw Victoria at a maide in America, she was like the artist that we actually got there early the next day was like, yo, we want to see her set. 00:47:31 Speaker 6: She killed it. 00:47:32 Speaker 2: She did a great job with her set there. It's just dope to see her. 00:47:36 Speaker 1: And we spoke that the BT Yeah, the BT Awar was It's dope to see an artist like that that you always knew was dope and talented start to get recognized on a bigger scale, bigger level, just because you always saw it there. Like Yo, she's a super amazing, super talented, amazing songwriter but now being recognized for her performance as well being an amazing performer videos. I think this sets the tone now moving forward for all of her videos, like it has to be to this level or higher, which is dope for artists to be in, like because now the label will start to open up, like yo, listen, we gotta go. You already set the precedents like this is this this next video, we have to hit him with something big or something better. So it's dope to see Victoria just evolving into the artist that she is. 00:48:21 Speaker 6: Now. 00:48:21 Speaker 3: Do you think she'll do Firefest two? 00:48:25 Speaker 1: You know what, Billy, Billy mcfallan, You never know what really can make anything happen. Billy could sell. Billy has the for All the Dogs album already, He's the only one with it. I think Drake already he is performing at fire Festival too. He already has Drake confirmed. 00:48:39 Speaker 3: I saw the wildest headline on the way here, little Yachtie almost crashes his car trying to play for the Dogs for his friends. Yeah, so we're just doing anything with the headlines now. 00:48:50 Speaker 1: But Billy mcfallan, we did say that he was going to do a fire festival too, and we did say that people would buy tickets. And I believe that this time this will happen. I believe enough brands will get behind him because he's already proven that he can sell. He could sell, he could sell anything. 00:49:09 Speaker 6: Yeah, but he could sell nothing for what well he's currently he's selling. He's still selling nothing. So one hundred pre sale tickets went, They all sloid out immediately for five hundred pop with no location, no lineup, no additional information. 00:49:21 Speaker 1: Mental illness is real and the second wave of. 00:49:23 Speaker 6: Tickets that are soon to come are going to be worth eight hundred and eight hundred two eight thousand dollars per package. 00:49:30 Speaker 3: I think it's a pretty good strategy so far. We talked about that if Billy was going to do this, especially coming out of jail, and I'm sure with the stipulations of his parole, if he doesn't have a legit production company behind this, yeah. 00:49:42 Speaker 1: It's not happening. 00:49:43 Speaker 3: They're using him as the face and no, this is a promotion, so we know this is really gonna happen. 00:49:47 Speaker 2: This is going to happen. This is this one to five festival two is going to happen. 00:49:51 Speaker 1: Did you guys see did you guys go to the website? 00:49:54 Speaker 3: No, no disrespect to pash vip because I've used it. 00:49:57 Speaker 1: So that's a pash. 00:49:58 Speaker 3: No, they're great, love them. I love sh but they're like the for us when we want to do an event, they're perfect to do that. The stuff is on posh, so when you click the link, it goes to POSH. I was like, what that perfect marketing. It's like small things and I'm like, this is amazing marketing. Whoever whoever is behind it, because it almost makes it look, and I don't want to say posh is yanky because it's not. It's just that anyone can use it for any type of free event. 00:50:23 Speaker 1: Yeah. 00:50:24 Speaker 3: So to see Billy put a link up and it's posh, I know people are like, Yo, this is gonna be some more just regular yanky shit. Yeah, I think it's genius marketing. 00:50:33 Speaker 1: Yeah, damn, it's definitely gonna happen this time. He went to jail the last time because it didn't happen. He's definitely it's definitely gonna happen. He's proven that he could sell anything because there's nothing that's been announced and he's just sold out one hundred tickets. So now, yeah, start to start light the people like, look, these tickets are going to sell. You brands might want to jump in on this, get behind this. You artists might want to be here to perform. And it doesn't have to be in a crazy location, Like he don't have to do it as big as he did, Like, Yo, we're going to you know, some remote island, and I feel like he kind of has to. 00:51:05 Speaker 5: And he says the Caribbean. It's in the Caribbean. 00:51:07 Speaker 6: It just says the Caribbean. Doesn't specify where it's a key West. I was gonna say, Rory, maybe you can take your real vacation. 00:51:13 Speaker 1: Yeah, here at the firefence with. 00:51:15 Speaker 5: Billy so y'all saying that we shouldn't buy tickets right. 00:51:17 Speaker 6: Now and go. 00:51:18 Speaker 5: This is what you're saying. You can sell me nothing as a company like and it's literally he log. 00:51:24 Speaker 3: There, scroll up, it's up. 00:51:25 Speaker 1: What's do they have a date there? 00:51:27 Speaker 6: December sixth, twenty twenty four. 00:51:31 Speaker 1: Yeah, damn next year. That's what I'm saying. You can't sell me nothing. This is I didn't even see the date. Yeah, that's what I'm saying, is twenty twenty four. It's not December sixth, twenty twenty three, not the Caribbean. It's twenty twenty four next year. Oh never mind. 00:51:45 Speaker 3: He just put this up anaz On posh. I take it back. It's not good marketing. He just called a lick. 00:51:50 Speaker 1: Well, that's what I'm saying. He's just twenty twenty four of December. He's just showing that once again, I could sell nothing to people. They don't even know what they're getting, and they're buying it like this is just an I can sell an idea. Now brands are gonna be like, Okay, this guy has proven that he can sell nothing sick. Let's really get behind this. Like you said, a real production company is going to make sure it comes together. 00:52:10 Speaker 2: It's gonna happen. 00:52:11 Speaker 1: I mean, you know he's. 00:52:14 Speaker 3: Crazy but selling clearly he needs some time to get something together. 00:52:18 Speaker 1: Oh yeah, he got to make some calls and get some artists to commit because you know a lot of people are still going to try to stay away from him, like but everything that happened before. But once he once it's known that he has a real production company behind it and this thing is really happening. I think that is it's gonna be a dope event. I would go, yeah, it's a festival. Why not. 00:52:34 Speaker 2: It's a festival as long as you have to. 00:52:35 Speaker 1: Write artists and confirmed in bolooney and cheese sandwiches and will be there. 00:52:41 Speaker 3: But I mean, I think that's what he has to lean into. There has to be a vendor, yeah, like just a fire or fest food vendor that just gives you the merch's crazy. 00:52:49 Speaker 1: Yeah, the merch. 00:52:51 Speaker 6: Hen selling merch already on Oscar Meyer. Yeah, the merch is there's a lot of merch damn. 00:53:00 Speaker 1: Do you think, well, the. 00:53:01 Speaker 8: Merch might be the lick because you got to turn the ticket money back, but you don't have to return the merch money. 00:53:08 Speaker 6: This, to Mal's point, this might be a case of because the vessels so far out, they might just sell all of these out and then use the money from these earnings. 00:53:16 Speaker 1: That's exactly what he's paid for. 00:53:17 Speaker 6: He's like, all right, we'll just bank this. Remember he said he's paying people. 00:53:21 Speaker 3: But wait, but how much money do you think he made on one hundred tickets for any. 00:53:25 Speaker 6: Or he's opening. Look at this. These are all tiered so free sales. 00:53:29 Speaker 1: So no, it's all coming. But that's how he It's the same proof of concept, Like he's proven that it works. He can do well. He rob Peter to pay Paul the entire time, but he got the money. So now it's like, okay, we know we can raise the money. Now let's have the artists actually commit. You have to take birth control. 00:53:49 Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what that alarm is for. 00:53:51 Speaker 1: But now let's get the artist to actually commit. Let's get the production company to put everything together, us make sure this thing really happens. It's a crazy idea, it's a crazy way to go about it. 00:54:00 Speaker 2: But I think it happens. 00:54:01 Speaker 6: Look at the disclaimer. Firefest two date is subject to change pre events and pop ups to be announced, but Firewall hosts minimum four events prior to fire Festival. 00:54:12 Speaker 1: I see the strategy. 00:54:13 Speaker 5: Yeah, fire holdings, Now I see it. 00:54:16 Speaker 3: I think this may actually be a thing. It's gonna He's actually building this break that might have been worth him sitting down for. 00:54:21 Speaker 1: A little while. It's gonna happen. It's gonna Happensen. 00:54:24 Speaker 3: We didn't see Billy's vision. 00:54:25 Speaker 1: This was the plan the whole the whole time. I'm gonna go sit down, go sit down for a couple of years, come back stronger than ever. 00:54:31 Speaker 2: I get it, I understand, man. 00:54:32 Speaker 1: But either way, we'll see what. 00:54:34 Speaker 3: With Billy send you ta the offer. 00:54:36 Speaker 2: We'll go pap, we'll pa from the Firefest. 00:54:38 Speaker 6: We'll make fun of you to your face again. 00:54:40 Speaker 1: Yeah, that's not what happened, Rory. 00:54:43 Speaker 6: We laughed in his face. 00:54:44 Speaker 1: Yeah, you and Julian giggle like you guys. 00:54:46 Speaker 6: I was there. You laughed at his face. I didn't laugh or broke character and laughed, And then I laughed because Rory laughed. Rory laughed in his face. 00:54:55 Speaker 3: Because you told me was that's Billy And I was like, I didn't realize that was Billy's laugh. 00:54:59 Speaker 6: You would say, aha, echoed, it was dead quiet. 00:55:05 Speaker 1: He was shooting content like he was like camera No, no, he had done he was done recording. 00:55:09 Speaker 6: No, he had a camera like. 00:55:12 Speaker 3: He was walking out of recording. That's not content. 00:55:16 Speaker 6: That is like you'll be He's like when he throws the vessel who like in all the doubters and haters and then pan to you laughing in the in the hallway. That would be sick. 00:55:28 Speaker 3: Before we start this segment, trigger warning, we discussed suicide. If you need some help, please down nine to eighty eight and talk to a specialist. 00:55:35 Speaker 6: Demerius right to argue. Demarus here to defend all women, especially this psycho bitch intentionally crashed a car going over one hundred miles an hour into a brick wall, killing her boyfriend at the time and her best friend. 00:55:49 Speaker 5: It was not her best friend, it was his best friend. 00:55:51 Speaker 1: Okay, cool, So that changes even yeah, tragic. So while I was you didn't even know him. 00:55:58 Speaker 3: While I was in Key West under the covers in the I did see that Damaris tweeted out about this topic. 00:56:04 Speaker 1: What is she tweet because I didn't see it, and y'all keep talking about it. She started talking. 00:56:07 Speaker 3: About Shorty's frontal lobe and like all these excuses that don't matter to me. 00:56:12 Speaker 1: A frontal lob. She was like, she's only this age. 00:56:15 Speaker 3: And her back frontal side diagonal lobe and her achilles heel hasn't healed yet. 00:56:20 Speaker 1: Huh So it's fine you did that. 00:56:23 Speaker 3: She shouldn't get life. 00:56:25 Speaker 2: No, she should get life. 00:56:27 Speaker 3: She knows fifteen the life, I think is probably the fairest thing you can get out of this. No, fifteen, the life means she'll get some consideration in parole for a little bit. 00:56:36 Speaker 1: Okay, she'll have a meeting. She won't do life in jail. 00:56:39 Speaker 2: Well, she's gonna do a lot of time. 00:56:40 Speaker 5: Now, listen, I agree with you. 00:56:42 Speaker 8: When I sent my tweet out, all I said was I don't think that she should be in jail for the rest of her life. I did not mean that she shouldn't get time, that she didn't shouldn't do years and years and years and years of jail. I just mean that this girl was seventeen years old, and if I'm not mistaken, when she committed this crime. I do not think that she should be in jail for the rest of her life. I didn't know that that was such a wild fucking takee jail. 00:57:07 Speaker 5: For the rest of her life, But I didn't know that all I she could be. I don't think that she should be in jail for the rest of her life. 00:57:12 Speaker 1: That's okay, let's put you on the parole. No, no, no, no, that's not because I think you tied it into she You don't think she should be in jail, not because of the crime she committed, but because you don't think that her brain is fully developed. 00:57:22 Speaker 8: It's not that I don't think that her brain is fully developed. Scientifically, her brain is not fully developed. 00:57:27 Speaker 3: Okay, your brain's not fully developed, I think technically till you're twenty five. So she was twenty three into this crime. 00:57:33 Speaker 6: No, no, she was seventeen. 00:57:35 Speaker 3: I'm saying if she was twenty three and did this crime, I would request a little. 00:57:40 Speaker 8: Bit less lenienty if she was twenty three. That's all I was saying. I still think that the girl should go to fucking jail. I still think that she's a murderer. I'm not sticking up for her. She should go to jail. But when niggas were coming at me saying, what if it was your family? Yeah, obviously, if it was my family, I will want Shorty dead. That's not the point. That's why they don't put her family on the fucking judges stand or your family on the like Paroba. 00:58:04 Speaker 7: Yeah. 00:58:04 Speaker 1: Yeah, but all right, So here's what you tweeted. You said, hear me out, and I sympathize. I sympathized with the victim's families. But at nineteen, her frontal lobe isn't even fully developed to put her in jail for life. 00:58:16 Speaker 5: I don't know, all right, If she uh, I don't feel like that's wild. 00:58:20 Speaker 3: If she had an addiction, or even which I'm not condoning, had some type of drunk driving accident and killed her boyfriend and friend, I think that's a bit different than someone that intended to do a murder suicide. 00:58:33 Speaker 6: Who scouted the scene, who. 00:58:34 Speaker 1: Had so much time. 00:58:36 Speaker 3: She didn't veer off the road, she didn't have some impulse in where she was just like fuck this and went through a wall. She scouted the fucking area. Yeah, and her boyfriends who she loves, and her boyfriend's friend who had nothing to do with anything. 00:58:50 Speaker 1: So cool with allegedly it's premeditated murder, just one there was no sure. 00:58:55 Speaker 6: Intended murder suicide. Yes, okay, let me let me ask you. 00:59:00 Speaker 1: If you're on the parole board. 00:59:01 Speaker 3: Let's say she does the fifteen fifteen O life. You have your first parole meeting at that time, what do you ask that person that gives you some type of idea that maybe their frontal lobe is now healed and she should be let out of jail. 00:59:19 Speaker 8: Well in fifteen years her frontal she's nineteen, now she was seventeen. I happened fifteen years, her frontal lobe will be fully developed. But as far as get her behind a wheel, me personally, if I'm on the parole board, I'm not letting her go with fifteen years. Maybe twenty twenty five, that's me, twenty twenty five years. Okay, Let's see how she was in jail. 00:59:40 Speaker 5: Let's see how remorse is being shown. 00:59:43 Speaker 8: I'm not on a parole board or even have those qualifications, so I don't know exactly what those questions would be. But the main thing I think they look for is remorse and see your growth as a person, see how your history has been with, whether you've getten into altercations in prison and things like that. 00:59:58 Speaker 6: Well, she can't drive a car in prison. We don't know how she would act. 01:00:03 Speaker 1: I mean, Julian's making a joke, but I kind of feel joke. 01:00:08 Speaker 5: All right. 01:00:08 Speaker 3: If she had some altercation or murdered somebody with her hands or with a gun or something. You could see the rage of a human being once they get into prison, if they continue to get into disputes real, it's hard. When she planned to drive a car into a wall, how that person is going to interact with hand to hand combat. Well, she think I'm being a reformed human being. 01:00:30 Speaker 8: I would hope that she would get a therapist, because this wasn't just a murder. This was well, it ended up just being a murder. It was intended to be a murder suicide. So right then and right there, somebody who plans on killing themselves and two other people. Most importantly, they planned on killing themselves. There is a mental health fuck. The frontal lobia developed. There's a mental health issue there. That's number one. So we need to see if the mental health has been like rehabilitated in those twenty twenty five years. 01:00:58 Speaker 1: That I'm talking about, well she gonna be she gonna have more a lot of time to get rehabilitated. She ain't a number of time ahead of her. But this is a case of, you know, again mentally, some a young girl that's going through some mental issues and she wanted to you know, commit suicide as well as take the life the lives of. 01:01:16 Speaker 2: Her boyfriend and his best friend. 01:01:18 Speaker 1: So it's a tragic situation, but yes, looking at it on a human situation, she obviously needs help. But she does need to go to jail for a long time. Just so number one, you said, an example like this is this is never to be. 01:01:31 Speaker 5: Tolerated exactly, that's number one. 01:01:33 Speaker 1: It's just such a heartless thing to do to just kill innocent people that you know, if you want to commit suicide and you're going through something, then you know that's when that's your life. Yeah. Cool. But then when you put the lives the lives of others and take the lives of others and along with trying to take yours, you know, that's a whole different issue. So yeah, she does need mental help. Hopefully she gets that while she's incarcerated. But again, that doesn't bring back the victims. That doesn't help the pain of the families. But you know, I understand what Damses are saying, like she definitely this girl needs help. 01:02:06 Speaker 3: Let's call spade a spade. We do not we have a prison system. We don't have a rehabilitation system in. 01:02:12 Speaker 1: The United States of America. 01:02:14 Speaker 3: I agree with you, and I don't think it should start with this girl. 01:02:16 Speaker 2: People get rehabilitated in prison. 01:02:19 Speaker 1: Through our system or through other inmates, converting or whatever however they I'm just saying, once they're incarcerated, a lot of them are do change for the better. 01:02:27 Speaker 3: But by definition, not what really happens in our prison system. 01:02:32 Speaker 1: They're saying. 01:02:33 Speaker 3: When it's whatever whatever verse the people in the United States of America, once they're convicted, the United States is supposed to rehabilitate them. That's what's supposed to put them back out in our country. We know for a fact that is not the case. They get rehabilitated, maybe just by the system of prison and people that are within that if they choose to. No, one's really being rehabilitated in Riker's fucking Island. 01:02:56 Speaker 1: Let's be honest. No, actually, turn definitely not so to a fucking warrior. 01:03:04 Speaker 3: Should this girl be the one that starts our therapist rehabilitation ship? 01:03:09 Speaker 5: Okay her specifically? Then who who do you start with? Becauld See, this is my thing with everybody, with somebody that may be in. 01:03:17 Speaker 3: A victim of circumstance and their crimes are not violent based off some wild. 01:03:23 Speaker 1: Crazy shit for no fucking reason, selfish motive. 01:03:25 Speaker 3: There's a yeah, a selfish like this is some different type of mental health, which I'm not saying cannot be rehabilitated. 01:03:31 Speaker 1: But why start with her? No, it's it's not going to start with her. 01:03:35 Speaker 3: I mean, I'm just I know it's not. 01:03:37 Speaker 1: We're not gonna know, We're not going to rehabilitate any prisoner. No, speaking more so to this specific case, in this specific person, she needs she needs mental health. 01:03:47 Speaker 2: Uh eight, she needs to sit and talk with somebody. 01:03:51 Speaker 3: We had a long talk after the Snowfall finale when we were talking about rehabilitation of men that really could have been CEOs of companies. But we're put in certain situations and need to be real rehabilitated, whether it be fast money, that type of shit. 01:04:07 Speaker 1: Those people can be rehabilitated. 01:04:09 Speaker 3: We choose not to rehabilitate them and put them in shitty situations when they get out of prison where they can't get a real job. So come back and do that shit changing. That is the start of rehabilitation in the prison system. People that are this far gone. I'm not saying we shouldn't try, but it shouldn't start with her. We're in twenty five years, we can go, ah, she seems fine. 01:04:32 Speaker 1: Fuck that. 01:04:32 Speaker 3: Why do they get that opportunity? 01:04:34 Speaker 6: White girl? 01:04:35 Speaker 3: Well, that's what I'm s yeah and. 01:04:37 Speaker 1: Not, but not just yeah, yes, she's a white girl, but she's also said she was seventeen when it's happened. It was still in high school, like she was a high school kid, like high school student. Like you don't want to yes, obviously mentally she's a whole nother place, But you don't just say, Okay, because she did this crime, there's no hope for her, Throw her into jail, let her die. Like you guys are missing my point. 01:05:02 Speaker 7: I'm not saying that. 01:05:03 Speaker 3: I'm saying, why are we starting with the hope on cases like this? No, I'm not starting with We're talking hypothetically, but. 01:05:11 Speaker 1: This is another one of them. 01:05:11 Speaker 3: But I think she's gonna get way more of a consideration come parole time in twenty years than a kid that fucking smoke somebody that was abusing his mom. 01:05:22 Speaker 8: Of course, of course she is. She's a white woman. That is white woman privilege, dull. But that's not what we that's not what we're talking about. You agree that this girl should be I want to ask you direct, direct question, Yes or no? You believe that this girl should do seventy years and me and Joel to today she dies. 01:05:37 Speaker 1: Uh, I'm cool with it, depends where she's at. But I don't. 01:05:43 Speaker 3: I don't know where she's going to be in twenty twenty five years. I don't think prison is going to be the fucking reason for it. I think she's gonna be let out because of the situation of the case, which I think is fucked up, where so many other people don't get let out based off the circumstance of their case. I think she's going to be let out. She's not gonna be She may meet with one therapist that is hired by the state, that gets paid thirty grand a year and sees a thousand prisoners a fucking week, barely gets any time. It'll just be a checklist on paperwork, parole board to see it. Oh you went to therapy. Oh you answered the questions correctly. Thirty years from now, you're out of here. Cool, you're free, whereas so many other situations don't get that same credit. But because it's a car accident and it's mental health and it's all this other shit, Yeah, she's gonna be let out. And I don't know if she should be let out. She could still be completely fucked up in thirty years, where there's so many prisoners that fucking so drugs and are not going to get the same consideration because of mental health that this person may get. 01:06:41 Speaker 5: But this is the thing though the job. 01:06:43 Speaker 1: Let's not even make it race based. 01:06:44 Speaker 3: Even though it's prison, so it has to be these type of cases get so much more consideration than other violent crimes or drug cases. 01:06:56 Speaker 1: That's my issue. 01:06:58 Speaker 3: If we're gonna go across the bord prison system, lock this bitch up for the rest of our. 01:07:02 Speaker 1: Life mental and throw the fucking keel. 01:07:03 Speaker 6: Yeah, mental health like lifes draw for card. 01:07:06 Speaker 3: Because in twenty twenty three, where you know, I'm a big mental health advocate, I just think it gets used and I think it'll get used and work in this situation where a kid when they were putting the fucking three three strike law down or non violent drug crimes that people are doing seventy years for, don't get the fucking four draw card of Like, yo, I have mental health issues when you know someone that sold that many amount of drugs probably had some too. 01:07:33 Speaker 1: Yeah, but again you're talking about the different This is again, this was an attempted suicide as well, So you're talking about was anybody when anybody mullicide? 01:07:41 Speaker 3: You know, people that have sold that amount of drugs, it's a suicide mission too. 01:07:45 Speaker 2: I don't know anybody. 01:07:47 Speaker 5: Of course, Mosster first of all, jacking out. 01:07:50 Speaker 1: Yeah, Fla, I'm just saying like this is this is I understand what you're saying, and you're correct, But because of guidelines in America and the way the prison system is set up in laws and all of that shit, I'm just saying, we have a seventeen year old girl that commits a murder attempted murdered suicide because she wanted to kill herself as well. You do have to look at that and say, okay, why is this seventeen year old girl trying to kill herself as well as her two of her friends. 01:08:19 Speaker 3: I guess I'm just going to the frontal lobe conversation that Damaris brought up. Why is that not brought up with everything? If a kid in Chicago that's fifteen kills another kid two blocks away from him just because he's born two blocks away from him, is that not a frontal lobe thing. 01:08:37 Speaker 6: It can be you. 01:08:38 Speaker 8: Oh no, no no, But let's make this clear. Because I'm the one that brought up in that conversation, I'm going to bring that up. I always consider that when you come when it comes to children or people under the age of twenty five twenty four committing crimes, I always think of that. 01:08:53 Speaker 5: I brought that up. The judge didn't bring that up, she didn't bring shut up. Nobody else brought that up. 01:08:57 Speaker 3: I would say a conversation, and I think I can make way more of a mental health case for the fifteen year old that shoots another fifteen year old two blocks away because he was brainwashed to think that that person is his enemy rather than the girl that scouts out a wall, invites her boyfriend and his friend into the car and drives one hundred mile an hour into the wall. That's a way different case that I can't really make more sense of than the kid that was brainwashed to shoot somebody a block away. For sure, that frontal lobe is I could make way more sense of. I told you, this girl has a way bigger problem. We need to start doing what I think they should implement in a lot of these cases. Start giving you know, a lot of these young kids that've been through traumatic situations and kids that killed kids, and you know, kids that attempt suicide. I think a lot of these we should give them the ayahuasca. 01:09:47 Speaker 1: I think so shaman and let them do that whole ritual and like you know, like just really have that that that spiritual awakening and really like get to know themselves on the spiritual level, on a whole different type of you know, equancy, and just see what that does. 01:10:02 Speaker 3: As far as rehabilitation, they tried that in the prison system in the seventies, I want to say, with LSD. Of course, they were trying it for other reasons, just rehabilitation. They want to see what they. 01:10:13 Speaker 6: Were Guinea Pip prosecut research. 01:10:15 Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure, but I think there still was and I don't want to give the US government too much credit, but I think there was probably some thought in that to let's see what it does to prisoners, because it may it could reform them if you fuck with their brainshit rather than a fucking lobotomy, let's give them LSD. I do agree. I think outside of therapy, yoga, shrooms, ayahuascas is very important under the right guidance. 01:10:42 Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it has to be done right. But I think that that does more than just saying, hey, throw this person in jail for thirty years. Like I think, I'm like, okay, cool, Like they can't technically hurt you know, innocent people that maybe another inmate. But you take them out of society, you put them in prison. To an extent, you rehab them because you kind of put them on a program or schedule whatever whatever. But it's still not tapping into the mental It's still not tapping into the deeper rooted issue of why did your brain send that signal to do that? Like why was your brain wired that way? And I think we have the technology and resources to just dig deep at this point in life, but. 01:11:23 Speaker 8: People don't want to spend the technot the money number one on people like that, right, People will be like, why are my tax dollars going toward this. 01:11:32 Speaker 3: Yeah, and it poses the question too, like, let's say there's an end all, be all, scientific way to rehabilitate people. How do you explain that to families that are victims of that? Because while I agree let's rehabilitate people, that's the point, we shouldn't just. 01:11:50 Speaker 1: It still doesn't bring me. 01:11:51 Speaker 3: We imprison more people than any other country in the entire world. It's fucked up how we think. But if someone does a heinous crime and we can prove that scientifically we alter their brain that they're no longer a danger to society, does that take away all accountability of the things that they've. 01:12:07 Speaker 1: No, that's not It's not about taking accountability away from from the situation. Like people should be held accountable, which is she's been sentenced to a very long term, a term in prison, so she's being held accountable for her actions. 01:12:20 Speaker 2: But I'm just saying, like, then, what you know what I mean, like you have we have to start digging. 01:12:26 Speaker 1: Deeper into the mental health issues that a lot of these young kids in this country and the world are walking around with daily so that we prevent this type of thing from happening again. We prevent like you you make it, you know, you make it available so kids can get the proper help and not just you know, sit and talk to somebody like, oh, what are you going through? Like because you can sit and talk with somebody and bullshit them the whole time you in the office with them. You know, people say, I go to therapy, like yeah, but you could be sitting here bulls and therapist for an hour and a half. Your therapist doesn't know. 01:12:57 Speaker 6: Yeah, LORI does that on a weekly basis. Yeah. 01:12:59 Speaker 1: So it's like, I mean have you have you? Have you gone back to therapy? Yes? 01:13:03 Speaker 5: How are you? 01:13:04 Speaker 1: Like? How's it? 01:13:05 Speaker 6: How's it going? 01:13:06 Speaker 3: No? I didn't familiar had eleven eleven am tomorrow reschedule Usually we do Wednesday on Friday. I think we should if we find a way that we could prove that because of course, criminals are con artists. So that's why that whole parole hearing ship sometimes I'm like, you don't think they they conned criminals. You don't think they can't call them parole board like this this is light work. We should just change the rules because I don't think like child molestor is a rapist should ever get out of prison. 01:13:38 Speaker 1: Let's say we are. 01:13:39 Speaker 3: We could prove that we change their brain and they're no longer a dangerous society. They should be able to get knocked out legally at any time when they walk outside. But at any if we're if we're going to find a way to rehabilitate people certain crimes, you should be able to legally knock them clean out on any day when they're free. 01:13:59 Speaker 1: Yeah, but like, what if you're trying to knock out somebody that could like really fight though. 01:14:03 Speaker 3: No, I don't, I don't think and then you's just fight. 01:14:08 Speaker 6: But let me look at their targeting. 01:14:10 Speaker 2: Child mo lists and rapist should never be set free from. 01:14:12 Speaker 3: I agree, But if we're going off this theory, maybe we can rehabilitate people when people could not not. 01:14:17 Speaker 1: Not child molistics, rapists and sex sexual predators. 01:14:22 Speaker 3: Okay them, I agree, I don't want them free. We're going off this this hypothetical fucking theory that people should be free murderers. Yeah, their family should be able to legally knock you out at any moment. 01:14:31 Speaker 1: Of the day. 01:14:32 Speaker 6: But let's keep it. 01:14:32 Speaker 1: You just have to walk outside to. 01:14:34 Speaker 3: Be accountable for your crimes. It's a danger anymore that people. 01:14:37 Speaker 6: Could just knock even on the car ship though, let's keep it to what that is. Because cars, yes, they're common, but those are fucking weapons. Those are like just a missile that can just you can hit, blow up. It's a killing machine. I've been quiet and making intermittent jokes because I had a extremely traumatic experience with my brother. One of my brothers was hit by a drunk driver and left for dead and went to a kalma like had a brain bleed. It was the most traumatic thing in my life. I was living in Chicago at the time, and I all sympathy for anyone that gets behind the wheel like drunk or like makes a decision to hurt other people behind the wheel of a car. Zero sympathy. So I think this girl should sit in there for as long as she can, or give her the keys to a car and hit another fucking wall like. I have no sympathy for people that do some function behind the wheel of a car. Fuck you, you made that decision to drive. That's mad steps to get behind there, It's not this was premeditated. 01:15:36 Speaker 1: She spoke the scene, She had a plan, she knew exactly what she was gonna do. Like, so, yeah, so you would say that's a functioning brain. But why, Like, I want to understand why would her brain tell her to do that? To me, that's me that's how you tap into different Why would you know that? 01:15:52 Speaker 8: That's why if they would never put you on a jury for a case like this, right, because you cannot be objective. 01:15:58 Speaker 6: I can't, no, not with this car shit. 01:16:00 Speaker 5: Okay, so but that's why you like your opinion on this. You are automatically biased. 01:16:04 Speaker 3: But how does the themal's questions? How does the therapist? I don't care how much school you've had. I'm gonna sound ignorant saying this, How could you tell that a person do that? Like, once you find out, once you find out that question as a therapist, I think you can find out that question why she did it? I think there is a world where you can find out exactly why her brain told her to do that. 01:16:21 Speaker 1: Yeah, why didn't you want to live? Why did you kill you your life? Like take your life and your friend's life. 01:16:25 Speaker 3: Say you're not, Oh, she won't do that again? Is a wild thought to me. 01:16:29 Speaker 1: You can't say yeah, because you wouldn't think that she somebody would do that in the first place, So to do it, say, yo, she wouldn't do it again, is like, but she tried it the first time. 01:16:36 Speaker 6: She already did it. 01:16:37 Speaker 5: But you can never say for sure that she would never do it again. 01:16:39 Speaker 6: You can. 01:16:40 Speaker 8: I think there is a seventy chance that this is still inside criminal will never you know what I'm saying, repeat this type of action, or will be a repeat offender. But that's when anything. That's how some sure I get left out of her suicide. 01:16:53 Speaker 3: If you think she may kill herself, it sucks to say this, but you could have a better shot of going. I don't think she's gonna do it anymore. Let her go and let her live her life. But she did murder, suicide with suicide and murder. I'm not taking the chance that she may not try to take more people out with her again. 01:17:11 Speaker 7: Yo. 01:17:11 Speaker 1: Was it jud that said you you thought about killing yourself for sure on a episode a few episodes ago. 01:17:16 Speaker 3: Not a few episodes ago, but I was I felt like every episode, Yeah, like both of us like legitimately thought about killing I did. 01:17:23 Speaker 6: It, like not intentionally thinking of coke binge at No, Like my thing was if I die doing coke, that's so be it. It wasn't like I was I'm not. I'm too pussy to like throw the toaster in the fucking bath, and like I'm not slitting my wrists. I'm not. I'm trying to make a light of It was a very serious conversation, but I knew I couldn't go and do an actionable thing. But if I overdose on a drug, woe is me. He took the wrong batch, will still feel sorry. He didn't mean it, even though I was like, yeah, you know what I mean, there's a clear difference. 01:17:56 Speaker 1: No, there's a difference. 01:17:57 Speaker 6: Yeah, just you know, got the monkey in my back dome. 01:18:00 Speaker 5: He being reckless with his life. 01:18:02 Speaker 8: He was being reckless with his life because he didn't value his life being Rory actively wanted. 01:18:05 Speaker 5: To just be off this earth. 01:18:07 Speaker 3: I felt that way for sure. 01:18:08 Speaker 1: But why though, man like, yeah, life, just looking at my to do. 01:18:14 Speaker 3: List, all the things that just wouldn't be there anymore. 01:18:20 Speaker 1: I just I just I'm sorry. 01:18:22 Speaker 5: And I know it's like a you know, I mean you know that that's kind of like a very deep question task. 01:18:27 Speaker 1: Yeah, why why didn't you want to be here? 01:18:28 Speaker 6: No more? 01:18:29 Speaker 1: No, because it's a deep question, but it's also a real question because I'm really interested in knowing how somebody brain gets to that because granted, you say life right, cool, life gets tough at times, but look back at all the times when life was tough for you, and then look at your life after those tough times. 01:18:45 Speaker 3: Like I would say, rarely, suicide is based off a single moment. It's like to your question, like, why would you think about killing yourself? 01:18:54 Speaker 1: Rarely? 01:18:55 Speaker 3: And I don't know this to be a stat so sorry everyone that is going to look this up and tell me I'm wrong, Well. 01:19:02 Speaker 1: I experienced rarely is it? 01:19:03 Speaker 7: You know? 01:19:04 Speaker 3: This just happened, so let me kill myself. 01:19:06 Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a culmination, it's a it's yeah, it's it's a pile up of things. 01:19:09 Speaker 3: I understand that, but so's it's hard to answer that question of like why do you want to do that because this happened. 01:19:14 Speaker 1: That's rarely what it is. It's and sometimes nothing happens. It's just a build up of life. 01:19:19 Speaker 3: And there's also a chemical brain imbalance or how your brain exactly candle certain things, or how your brain interprets certain things, how it reacts over time. 01:19:29 Speaker 1: I think if you want to kill yourself, I think you should become like a professional stunt person. 01:19:33 Speaker 6: Sorry what I don't think that's a career, not an end, but it could be. 01:19:38 Speaker 1: No, if that goes wrong, that's what. So it's like, Okay, you jump out of it, right, like you jump off of a building, right, but you don't die. You get paid for it. So the entire point what it's kind of like what it's kind of like you have because you're not afraid of death. 01:19:54 Speaker 6: Right, the financial gain of jumping off a building and being top cruises stunt double doesn't outweigh the constant pain of life itself. Getting a check for fifteen hundred dollars isn't worth life itself. 01:20:10 Speaker 1: No, But I feel like I feel like I feel like if you do stunts right, it gives you like this boost of like adrenaline where it's like it kind of like you forget about killing yourself. It's like, yo, you'd like, I don't want to kill myself in the morning. 01:20:20 Speaker 3: That commit suicide, have trouble getting out of bed at the end of the day. Yeah, yeah, I think they will have the determination to become an official stunt double where we can't do that that. 01:20:34 Speaker 1: You think, so they can't get out of bed, Like what if you thought about killing you think they'd have the motivation to beat a stunt double. 01:20:43 Speaker 8: But this is the thing, right, maul, I've told you before that I didn't want to buy a gun, right because I don't think that I'm mentally healthy enough to own a gun. 01:20:49 Speaker 5: Like, seriously, hand Organization. 01:20:52 Speaker 2: You cocked back a gun that was a revolver? 01:20:54 Speaker 5: Can you. 01:20:57 Speaker 1: You wouldn't have completed that sce you would still you would still be here. 01:21:00 Speaker 2: It's okay, go ahead. 01:21:01 Speaker 5: What I'm saying is right. I know that that's dangerous. 01:21:04 Speaker 8: So if I'm at the point where I want to kill myself, you want to put those type of people in situations where it's like a word actually now, like I do this for work, Like you know what, let me just cut this fucking I'm about to jump off a plane. Let me just cut the bungee before I jump. Now, they don't even get the take. They paid me for nothing because I'm the first take. 01:21:21 Speaker 6: I actually killed my That'd be a good take. 01:21:24 Speaker 3: And the thing that box office that depressed that kill themselves would have that one enthusiasm. 01:21:32 Speaker 1: No, but you don't have to know how depression world. But as a stunt double. You don't have lines, right, you just fucking jump out of like builders. 01:21:38 Speaker 6: That's blowing up to Rory's point, most of them are not motivated up. They're in like dark rooms in. 01:21:43 Speaker 1: The Yeah, but you're only in the dark room because you're not doing. 01:21:48 Speaker 3: A lot of motivented people do kill themselves, but at the same time, like, yeah, they're not sitting there waiting for the right gig from sag Boardine killed himself. 01:21:57 Speaker 6: He had the best job in the world, He had the most amazing job, the best joab one of one. He still ended it all. You think if someone handed him a check to jump off a fucking airplane and the gay bro you're thinking about it here flirt, flirt with danger. 01:22:09 Speaker 3: But you can still get also like oh, you could eat the puffer fish that no one can on camera and he dies, Like yeah, that's just not how suicide works. Eddie Bourdain would have ate the puffer fish. 01:22:22 Speaker 1: He was such a legend man that I ain't gonna lie his death kind of that that affected me and I didn't think he would. 01:22:28 Speaker 3: Well, that's that's one of I think the most brilliant Chappelle bits, Yeah, is when he starts to explain the difference of suicide to people. And Eddie Bourdain had the greatest job of all time. It appeared nothing was wrong in his life and he killed himself. Then he explained a terrible situation of a guy that went to college, got the best job ever, was smoking it, got out the hood, married a girl, everything got taken away from him with a foot locker. Never even crossed his mind to kill himself. It shows that situations don't cause suicide. Who you are as a person and your brain chemical is the reason for it. Sometimes not circumstance. Sometimes it's just who the person is. 01:23:08 Speaker 6: Robin Williams another one, Right, Yeah, he was battling with some but they say. 01:23:12 Speaker 1: That a lot though they say that sometimes the happiest quote unquote happiest people are the ones that are battling and dealing with so much. It's just you know, because my not to get deep, but my grandmother committed suicide. And I always think about, like, just in the what is the because the brain is so fascinating, Like you have I don't know how many thoughts you have a day, right, but you have a bunch of thoughts a day, Like how does your brain get to that out of everything you could have thought of. To me, it's just like it's I don't want to say it's a fascinating thing, but it's an interesting It's like I would want to study that, like how does your brain land on that thought? Out of anything in the world you can think about. 01:23:54 Speaker 6: It's like the CTE studies from football players and stuff that lose their shit and. 01:23:59 Speaker 2: Kill just why they need and they have any study. 01:24:02 Speaker 6: Because the brain's a living organism and chemical change can happen. People that take we watch painkiller mm hm. The drugs alter your the chemical makeup of your brain. The person that you were on Monday is not the person that you might be a month from there on the on this you know, the next Monday. So it's like you can literally become a different person and things that you do can cut bodily, can become beyond your control, or the person that you once were is no longer the person that's currently there. Like there's traumatic accidents, brain bleeds happen people like shit happens to people. The brain is fragilist. 01:24:37 Speaker 3: We only use with our brain if there's a whole another ninety percent functioning without our real control. 01:24:44 Speaker 6: Yeah. 01:24:44 Speaker 1: And that's and if you ever worked out so. 01:24:47 Speaker 3: Much that you literally just need to lay down, like you you don't control that You've ran so much that you just literally shut down, literally just exactly and you just lay the fuck down. I've never, of course, gone all that way mentally, but to me, that is a representation of suicide within your brain, of how people get that far of exhaustion within their brain. They physically shut down to any decision making, and their brain takes over what they think they should do. And when it comes to working out, you just you're so exhausted you just fall over. To me, that suicide mm hmm from a brain capacity, your brain gets so exhausted that it decides it needs to end. 01:25:29 Speaker 1: We're taking another vacation, and I'm not in that state now at all, but I'm I'm just that's what I You definitely thought about killing yourself in Key West. My God, he was at the pool. He was at the pool. He said, you know what, this is where it ends? 01:25:46 Speaker 6: You know. 01:25:46 Speaker 3: I was so fucked up and frustrated. I thought about joining Damn. 01:25:50 Speaker 1: Wow, that's but Jesus, there's so much I want to say to that, but I can't please, we're talking about suicide. 01:25:58 Speaker 6: To Roy's point when final we don't need to go down this hill woman. But like the there's the science part of it, and then there's also the social side and culture side of it, where our entire news cycle is it's just the negative, the bad, the how can things get worse? Where things are gonna go? When will everything end? And that is just constantly piling on onto your personal struggle. It's like, well, the world's fucked anyway. Like we throw so much negativity out there that it's like, if everything's gonna end bad anyway, let me just handle myself. That's you know. 01:26:29 Speaker 1: I think I'm like the I'm like the opposite because I think about like death, but I think about like like if I'm on my balcony and I'm smoking, listening to music and shit, I be looking at the ground like if I fail, for me, I might survive, Like my brain says that, not that I'm going to try it, but I don't think that. 01:26:44 Speaker 2: You know, I would die if I follo off of this, but that don't think about it. 01:26:47 Speaker 3: That's I'm sure what suicide of people think as well, at certain levels in their building. 01:26:52 Speaker 6: Mm hmm. 01:26:53 Speaker 1: Could I die here, I definitely hit one of those before I've thought about it. 01:26:58 Speaker 3: I got to be higher in this because this would just suck. I just be paralyzed. 01:27:00 Speaker 1: You always have, like Dan, I have hurt, I'll be fucked up, but I'll be like, I'll still be here, like I'm all right, I could. 01:27:06 Speaker 2: I could, I could. 01:27:06 Speaker 1: I can handle that, Lieutenant Dan, I probably did. I live on like the seventeenth floor. 01:27:13 Speaker 2: I probably be dead. 01:27:14 Speaker 1: You're not making not surviving yea, but voicemails. Yeah, please yeah. 01:27:19 Speaker 3: Don't run your car into a wall purposely. 01:27:21 Speaker 6: Please please do. 01:27:24 Speaker 3: No. 01:27:25 Speaker 1: No, but just do it by yourself, like, don't have nobody else in the car, period, don't do it. And listen if that's you. Listen if you rode your life of this podcast. I'm sure the mother two dudes I was in the car, listen cool when you buy, I don't. I'm not ready to go. I got shipped to do them all. 01:27:38 Speaker 8: And prayers to those families. I don't want anybody to hear this. I don't know if they're fans of the podcast. Your families, we do sympathize. 01:27:45 Speaker 1: It's a situation. 01:27:46 Speaker 6: Was from Ohio Edan's friends in Ohio. So my friend is in Ohio. Could have been his house in Ohio? 01:27:51 Speaker 5: Yeah, how is so funny? 01:27:55 Speaker 6: Just be there? 01:27:55 Speaker 2: Might like she don't have no friends. 01:27:57 Speaker 1: Oh that's sick. You're DJ. 01:27:59 Speaker 2: You're gonna do it Mighty likes DJs. 01:28:01 Speaker 5: All right, and now you have depressed Rory. 01:28:03 Speaker 1: No, I'm I'm isn't that United Airlines. 01:28:11 Speaker 6: They hit? I mean United? 01:28:13 Speaker 1: And then they sat me by the bathroom. 01:28:14 Speaker 5: You know what? 01:28:14 Speaker 1: Fucking I'm done. 01:28:16 Speaker 6: I don't see that United hit the towers? Then, Oh my god, you see I. 01:28:20 Speaker 3: Think it was American Airlines and United. There's a couple of different they spread it out miles. 01:28:24 Speaker 6: Was it they diversified? 01:28:26 Speaker 3: I mean, was it really plaines? 01:28:27 Speaker 6: Though? 01:28:28 Speaker 2: Mmm, I see what you did? 01:28:33 Speaker 6: Great pool? All right, I'm going right. 01:28:37 Speaker 3: All I know is I need whatever speakers they use for. 01:28:41 Speaker 1: Great sound. Every time I see that conspiracy theory online, I'm like, was it Bose like. 01:28:47 Speaker 6: Brand? 01:28:48 Speaker 1: For definitely? 01:28:50 Speaker 7: So? 01:28:50 Speaker 1: It was so loud they had on every building on that Go ahead, I'm sorry, man, never forget. 01:29:03 Speaker 6: Everybody. 01:29:04 Speaker 2: I'll keep it short. 01:29:05 Speaker 9: If y'all weren't working in entertainment and has to. 01:29:08 Speaker 1: Work, uh, I'll call it a regular job. What what job would you work. 01:29:17 Speaker 6: If we weren't in entertainment working a regular job, what job would we work? Hmm? I actually, funny enough, actually was going into psychology and the. 01:29:28 Speaker 3: Like. 01:29:28 Speaker 6: I actually was about to go into that. 01:29:31 Speaker 3: Imagine imagine, imagine you're ready to kill yourself and you finally find some help and you walk in the room and it's edding. 01:29:40 Speaker 6: God, come on man, damn, oh my god. I would have been a good, good therapist. 01:29:44 Speaker 7: Do you think so? 01:29:45 Speaker 6: Yeah? 01:29:45 Speaker 5: Do you think so? 01:29:46 Speaker 6: Is the funniest I'm a verg What is that baby talking about their their their depression? Adam will be like, wow, wow, wow, that's crazy. 01:29:56 Speaker 1: You should we gonna listen to bad Bunny? 01:29:58 Speaker 5: Yeah? 01:29:59 Speaker 6: Is that what personality is to? 01:30:01 Speaker 1: I think what you would if I wasn't in entertainment entertainment? 01:30:05 Speaker 5: That what you said. 01:30:06 Speaker 6: Yeah, if you weren't doing what you're doing now and not something. 01:30:10 Speaker 1: Uh, I probably I would probably be wanting to do something as far as like, uh, sports marketing something like that, working with athletes. 01:30:25 Speaker 6: Is that still entertainment though, that's adjacent? 01:30:28 Speaker 1: Yeah? 01:30:29 Speaker 5: No sports, no music, no, like, no sports entertainment. 01:30:32 Speaker 6: That's not fair sports into the label. But I can't say that. 01:30:36 Speaker 3: I wasn't ye, I wasn't gonna say anything. I'm gonna remix this question. No sports, no music, no. 01:30:42 Speaker 6: Nothing, enter like trade job nothing. So sports isn't or which is in the trade, but the same thing academia. 01:30:50 Speaker 1: I would want to do something working with animals. I don't know what capacity something to work with animals, Like I think if you get to hang out with like some cool animals every day, like tigers. 01:31:00 Speaker 2: And ship like that, and you know, I think that that's a cool idea. 01:31:04 Speaker 1: Because you can you imagine, can you imagine? Mall was the trains Shamo took under under the. 01:31:09 Speaker 5: Water calling cat like. 01:31:12 Speaker 6: Now, I'm not fucking I'm not Mall in the onesie joint. 01:31:16 Speaker 1: I'm not fucking with the animals water with fish. No, I'm not fucking the animals in the water. 01:31:20 Speaker 6: Nah, Okay, not doing that. 01:31:22 Speaker 5: A keepers fine, Yeah, with tigers a realistic job. 01:31:28 Speaker 1: That's not a real job A zoo keeper with okay keep no, no, no, we're. 01:31:33 Speaker 5: Talking about ma who has lived the life that Mall has lived. 01:31:36 Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm working with animals my whole life. 01:31:38 Speaker 6: I'm put the bronx. 01:31:41 Speaker 5: Be no fucking zoo keeper keeper lying. 01:31:46 Speaker 3: Come to your question, if you take out all entertainment, what what do you mean by the life mall has lived. 01:31:52 Speaker 8: No, it doesn't say if you weren't born into entertainment. It says if you weren't in entertainment right now. 01:31:58 Speaker 1: So what should he do? 01:31:59 Speaker 6: Yeah? 01:31:59 Speaker 5: What I done? If he didn't join a podcast seven years ago? 01:32:03 Speaker 6: What are we talking talking about? Telling drugs offense? 01:32:06 Speaker 1: But which would he answered? He said he want to work with animals dreams. 01:32:14 Speaker 6: Okay, it's a hypothetical, damn it. 01:32:16 Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't know what I mean. I could have got into it. I could have been like my. 01:32:19 Speaker 5: Man just got some zoo keepers don't make no money, mam. 01:32:22 Speaker 1: Okay, I mean I would have been you know, I would have found a way. 01:32:24 Speaker 2: I'm a hustler. 01:32:25 Speaker 1: Yeah, have monkeys for the load, for the whole every standing there, I would buy penguins. Everybody uptown would have had a monkey about your coming in tomorrow, you niggas meet me by the concourse. Imagine robbing a truck full of monkey. 01:32:40 Speaker 6: I got curious George on the streets. 01:32:42 Speaker 1: I'm gonna find a way to make some money on the side. You know, had a hustler maybe you gotta make some money anything working with animals. I just think that that's a cool job to wake up to every day and get to like just work with a bunch of different animals. 01:32:53 Speaker 2: Not you guys, I love you all your animals too. 01:32:55 Speaker 3: But I resent that said something Irish firefighter was like always in my dea. 01:33:02 Speaker 6: Oh you would smoke that. 01:33:04 Speaker 1: I would love to be are. I think that's a cool job. 01:33:06 Speaker 3: You work, You work forty eight hours like straight, yeahs sick, So that's cool that you get like. 01:33:10 Speaker 1: All the other days at all fire I. 01:33:12 Speaker 6: Think Roy would be good at like a grave graveyard ship. 01:33:15 Speaker 1: I would love to stop. You saw a back draft when you was a kid and they was Irish and then you had that little twinkle in your eye like you wanted to be a firefighter. Well, everyboting Irish. 01:33:23 Speaker 3: You know how many Irish, Like my whole family is firefighter. 01:33:26 Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. That don't count. Yeah, Like growing up, I was like I'd be a firefighter. 01:33:30 Speaker 2: You saw a back draft? 01:33:31 Speaker 1: No, I watched my uncle he was in back draft. 01:33:37 Speaker 3: That or I would like to be a truck driver first and then start like a truck company, a distribution company where he. 01:33:44 Speaker 5: Could get the funk away from his family. 01:33:46 Speaker 3: He's like, I think because I like to drive, like just long highways where I could listen to what I want to listen to, like just chill as a like only child. I was like, I could be a truck driver. 01:33:56 Speaker 2: You know, it looks like a cool job. 01:33:58 Speaker 1: The craft fish what you want to be on? 01:34:02 Speaker 6: Deadly as cat? 01:34:02 Speaker 1: Yeah? Did that that? 01:34:04 Speaker 3: Like that? 01:34:05 Speaker 1: My dad did that? 01:34:05 Speaker 5: You know it's like one of the world's deadly chomps. 01:34:07 Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I mean being black is one of the world's delis. 01:34:12 Speaker 5: We will get paid for it. 01:34:15 Speaker 1: I said, like that, Like y'all all agree that don't get paid Yeah, he was, yeah, Like I think I would be like a I would work on like a crab boat, like crab fisherman that ship like it seems fun all right. 01:34:28 Speaker 3: And like what Captain Phillips did until you ran into the pirates. Like that looks cool too. 01:34:32 Speaker 6: Yeah. 01:34:33 Speaker 1: I just draw like, yeah, like some cool ship to be on in the ocean. 01:34:38 Speaker 5: What would you pick? 01:34:38 Speaker 6: Uli, What would you be? I used to teach a politician. No, I hate politics. I would have still probably gone down the teaching route. Got a PhD for being a professor, had a cushy university ride that out. It's a good life. Yeah, seasonal Create, Create a great. 01:34:58 Speaker 1: Grow under the radar, love a great life, camp. 01:35:01 Speaker 6: Living on a college campus. I just love that setting. College campuses are beautiful. It's just that's a good that's a good one. 01:35:07 Speaker 1: Shit in the grass every day, eating an apple. 01:35:09 Speaker 5: And play backgammon. 01:35:10 Speaker 6: Yeah. 01:35:10 Speaker 3: Yeah, since it's college. Do you think you'd eventually fuck a student? 01:35:14 Speaker 6: Its like if I was I don't like indeed, and was like teaching a master's programmer, like if they were you know, and you were still on coke. Not as a professor. I didn't believe him a single bit with that. 01:35:28 Speaker 5: He said he didn't do coke when he was teaching. 01:35:30 Speaker 6: I've seen him, well, not during the day. On the weekends, yeah, the weekends. You just yeah, I might have like popped that as snorted an adderall or two. Got to make it through Mondays. But you know that's sick. 01:35:42 Speaker 3: I also think like driving Amtrak. 01:35:44 Speaker 6: Wait, the marriage, she was going to be nothing. 01:35:47 Speaker 1: What would you have been? 01:35:48 Speaker 8: Obviously went to school to be a psych housewifress. I wanted to be a psychiatt. 01:35:52 Speaker 6: Thank god that didn't work. 01:35:53 Speaker 2: Out said housewife. 01:35:55 Speaker 1: No but no, but right there, I don't want to be a housewife. 01:35:59 Speaker 5: Yes I do, Yes, I do. 01:36:02 Speaker 8: I want to help my husband run whatever business he has. I want to do yoga. I want to help my nanny raise my kids like your nanny raised. 01:36:11 Speaker 3: There's so many women that say that ship and I'm like, yes, also, it sounds cool for two years, and you would be bored. 01:36:16 Speaker 1: You would years. 01:36:17 Speaker 5: I would have mashed to do. 01:36:18 Speaker 6: That's why they all get addicted to fucking pain killers. 01:36:21 Speaker 5: No no, no, no no, Like I love hosting and cooking and things. 01:36:25 Speaker 6: Like, but you're not doing that at two o'clock on a Monday, like you have mad TV. 01:36:29 Speaker 8: Like I would be the person that made my kid like the little lunches with like the little dinosaur ears and stuff like that. 01:36:35 Speaker 5: Like that would be me. 01:36:37 Speaker 6: Eight hours of the day where there's no one home and it's just you, dolo. 01:36:40 Speaker 5: I would the nanny and the kids would be home and kids are at. 01:36:43 Speaker 6: School, they're gone. Like I'm saying, it's you. 01:36:45 Speaker 3: You're also having a nanny while your housewife. 01:36:47 Speaker 5: To me, see, oh, the women gonna kick your ass for that. 01:36:51 Speaker 8: The women is gonna kick my exactly exactly what are you doing, Because being a wife and being a mother are too completely different jobs. Being a mother, being a brother, being a mother is a full time job, right, so a mother cannot she can if your kids are a certain age. But let's say your kid. Let's say you have a kid under the age of six years old, right, you are when you're taking care of that kid, it requires a whole lot of your time. So the cleaning of the house, the supporting of the husband, the making sure everything else is done. That's a completely separate job than the just being a mom, feeding the child, teaching the child, helping the child. 01:37:30 Speaker 5: That's completely different. 01:37:32 Speaker 8: So to say that if your housewife having help is lazy, I don't think that it has to work. 01:37:37 Speaker 3: And also be a father, why don't we get that luxury? Can I get a nanny too? 01:37:43 Speaker 5: If we have a nanny, it's also your nanny, manny. 01:37:46 Speaker 1: If can I get nanny Ramiro to my groom? 01:37:50 Speaker 8: If the family has a nanny, you also have a nanny. You think if you had a nanny right now, you don't think that that would make your life easier? 01:37:57 Speaker 1: Of course it would exactly. So what are you talking about? 01:37:59 Speaker 3: Can I have any you guys, you're saying that between parenting and having to do other ship, you need a nanny. 01:38:05 Speaker 5: You're not. 01:38:06 Speaker 3: I'm doing other ship as well, so let me get one too. 01:38:08 Speaker 5: But you're not home with your kid all day. 01:38:11 Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm at work all day and then I come home to father m hm. But she's also getting a partner during the day to parent, So let me get one to m m. 01:38:22 Speaker 5: Okay, we can have that conversation off Mike because that's alone. 01:38:25 Speaker 1: He aint, that's a long she can help. 01:38:28 Speaker 8: Why how does if I have a nanny right? Because if I want a nanny, it's more mainly for my mental health and my marriage. If I have a nanny, when my husband comes home, I'm not too tired from taking care of my kid all day, and I have so much more time and energy to suck dick. If I have a nanny, then if I'm home with the kid all day. 01:38:46 Speaker 5: So now are you okay? 01:38:47 Speaker 6: Hiring you and the nanny can suck the dick together, and then that's like tight. That's also. 01:38:56 Speaker 1: No dick sucking. It's happy, just amazing. But I have energy to suck dick. 01:39:04 Speaker 5: Oh, y'all think that that's not important? It sounds funny. 01:39:08 Speaker 1: Why do either got hired than nanny to go to Bahamas? 01:39:11 Speaker 5: Exactly? 01:39:14 Speaker 8: Sucked exactly by fucking point your partner us with fucking blue balls. Damn, your partner can be a better partner to you if they're not exhausted other things. That's why housewives exist to begin with, even if you don't have a kid. A lot of men are like, I'd rather my wife be able to support me mentally, physically, emotionally, if she's not ran down from her job too, Because if we're both ran down now, neither one of us have anything to pour. 01:39:37 Speaker 5: Into the other. 01:39:39 Speaker 3: So you want to be a nanny, that's your answer? 01:39:42 Speaker 6: God? 01:39:42 Speaker 5: No, why no, I'd probably be an advertising. 01:39:46 Speaker 6: My housewife isn't a job. 01:39:48 Speaker 8: I'd been advertising, that's entertainment. Still, housewife is a job depending on how big your house is. Housewife is doesn't matter. 01:39:54 Speaker 6: Guess what, it's not paid. We're talking about paid jobs houses. We're talking about paid jobs. 01:39:58 Speaker 8: She said, She says, true, I will No, I would probably be an advertising. I quit psychology it was too much school. But I would be in advertising probably. 01:40:06 Speaker 6: Okay, it'll be fun. Well, let's get to the next Wait. Wait, yeo me, what would you be? 01:40:11 Speaker 5: Yeah, we did that instead a psychiatrist. 01:40:13 Speaker 1: Yeah, therapy. 01:40:17 Speaker 6: I went to business. 01:40:19 Speaker 5: We went to business school, guys. 01:40:20 Speaker 6: So she would be in business making businesses, making businesses like Jordan Belford. 01:40:25 Speaker 5: She's not like a restaurant. That's dope. 01:40:26 Speaker 3: There you go, Okay, I would love to open a restaurant. It just that looks like a different type of monster to me. Hell yeah, that's a whole difference in theory. It sounds amazing. 01:40:37 Speaker 1: Yeah, up and running and like moving and business is good. Yeah, it's great to get there. 01:40:42 Speaker 6: Oh my. I always said, if there's one profession that I could like the dream, like if you what kind of household wuld you want to grow up in? If I could choose my parents' profession, I would say they had they owned a successful restaurant in New York, I would have loved to have been the sun of a successful restaurant owners in the city. That would have been amazing. 01:41:00 Speaker 5: Sufferable. 01:41:01 Speaker 6: No, I worked on the bar backed I waited. I've done all that shit in my whole life. It would I really would have loved because the people I was doing it for was also family owned. It was upstate but they were super successful, and I was always like, damn, it would be really cool to be like, obviously your this is all coming through the family, like at the end of the day, it's going to become your thing. But it would been cool to be like that fifteen year old kid that literally rises through the kitchen to the front of the house, to the whatever, to whatever, and ultimately the business side of things, because then that's so much of your DNA. I just think that would have been cool. 01:41:31 Speaker 3: Chef would just be a cool chef too. I feel like, yeah, I really thought Julian's nasty ass was gonna say, Masus, what. 01:41:39 Speaker 5: Do you think the worst? Because he bessiges your beard? Do I let that go? 01:41:42 Speaker 3: His great hands? 01:41:43 Speaker 6: Yeah, massages. Yeah. Yeah, this is a pivot because we talked about that, uh, the case with the driving, So it's just going to go dark for a minute here. 01:41:55 Speaker 5: Oh yeah, we just lightened up. 01:41:57 Speaker 7: So everyone just wanted to say love Odd, I love the whole crew. You guys are killing it right now and baby D's funny as fuck. Nice But anyways, just calling to get your guys thoughts on a situation where my buddy passed away about a year ago. 01:42:16 Speaker 1: That was my guy, you know, and. 01:42:19 Speaker 7: An older gentleman in the seventies was driving in the morning and turned in front of him when he was on his bike and killed him. 01:42:26 Speaker 1: Damn. 01:42:26 Speaker 7: And he was actually sentenced yesterday and he had three days in jail, two years probation and can never drive with the license again. And you know, I was just curious what your guys' thoughts are and something like that, and what do you think would be a first sentence with something like that. It just doesn't seem like enough. It will never be enough, but maybe at least bring a little closure to his wife and his kid. 01:42:56 Speaker 6: Jesus. 01:42:57 Speaker 7: But anyways, love the pod, keep doing what you're doing. You guys are killing it and can't wait to see what's next for you guys. 01:43:04 Speaker 1: Well, thank you for that first of all, and condolences to you and Luci, your friend. 01:43:10 Speaker 6: It was an older guy that hit his from seven year old man. Thirty days, two year of probation and no driving again. 01:43:17 Speaker 1: That's an accident. I don't think that was intentional obviously. I think that that's just a road accident. God, he from on a bike. Yeah, we've seen that in the city. Happen plenty of times you see cases of people just getting hit by cars. So that's what you call an accident. Seventy old man thirty days in jail. I mean it's you know, if he had thirty years in jail, it doesn't bring your friend back. But I do understand how the judge would look at a seventy year old man who probably probably doesn't have any priors not you know, he's just a seven year old guy just driving doing his daily thing, and it was an accident. So yeah, I don't you know, the sentencing, the amount of time, I can't you know, that's that doesn't it doesn't bring back the love the lost one. But I just think that that was the legitimate accident and it's unfortunate. But I don't think that a guy seven year old that hits a gown of bike by accident deserves a fifteen year sentence in jail or nothing like that. I think that's what an accident. It was an accident. 01:44:30 Speaker 3: I don't want to get on like a another conspiracy rent. I promise I won't. 01:44:38 Speaker 1: Conspiracy rent out of this question. 01:44:40 Speaker 3: Yeah, because I think this can be avoided based off of the lack of driver tests. We have to do throughout our lives. I'm thirty three years old. I think I should have to take another driver's test when I renew my license, whether it be thirty six years old thirty eight years old. I think we need to constantly renew our license and get checked for driving death machines. 01:45:04 Speaker 6: Every ten years. 01:45:05 Speaker 3: I'm not even mad at five. I know it's an inconvenience and it sucks. I'd get annoyed by it too. We are driving vehicles that weigh tons, that can go one hundred miles an hour, and we are allowed to drive them whenever we feel like it, on any road at any time. You know, my grandfather made it to ninety two still driving, and he should not have been fucking driving. 01:45:30 Speaker 1: Yeah, but he could legally drive. 01:45:32 Speaker 3: And it used to bother me so much because he was a fucking prideful irishman, would not let anyone else drive his car. I felt like I was going to die every time we got in that car, and he was legally allowed to drive up until ninety two years old. 01:45:46 Speaker 1: Now I'm with legally not being able to drive by yourself after a certain age. I'm with that just because you know, somebody ninety two years old. Anything can happen while they drive, and they could, you know, have some type of medical emergency behind the wheel. I mean anybody can. 01:46:03 Speaker 5: Right while asleep. 01:46:04 Speaker 1: Yeah, anybody can have done that. Anybody can falls you behind it where anybody can have a medical emergency. But if you're saying when you're of a certain age and you're that old ninety two, I think that you should not be allowed to drive by yourself. 01:46:16 Speaker 3: And I mean my conspiracy ran on that is. I mean one of the biggest consumptions, whether it be oil, gas cars like they want us driving they want. I don't think sixteen year old should be able to get their fucking license. That's the craziest thing in the world. To give a sixteen year old a death machine and they're not even allowed to vote. We don't even allow them to vote, but they can drive. Like that's crazy. Their frontal lobe is not able to vote, but their frontal lobe can drive a car. It's all based on consumers, and our whole shit is based off gas and oil. So I didn't want to get in that conspiracy ship. But I do think we have way less of these situations, and not even just older people just people that can't drive in general. There's seventy years that I know can drive better than twenty year olds. It's not really based sometimes off age, it's based off ability. But you weren't too lenient and how we give licenses to people. 01:47:10 Speaker 1: Yeah, but even in that though, you can't stop an accident, of course, not but happening. 01:47:15 Speaker 6: But there are preventive measures. Yeah, roy sitting mediate. 01:47:18 Speaker 1: If somebody ninety two, they should not be opera operating, But the problem is they can, so they should change that. Yeah, you should not be able to operate a vehicle by yourself after at ninety two. 01:47:30 Speaker 6: But it's the way in which they clamp down on drunk driver like that was a normal as shit, Like there wasn't the thing until it became a real issue, and then it was, you know, the clamp down. And some of my favorite clips on the internet are of people like complaining about not being able to drive drunk to the news station being like, yeah, they're taking away our rights. This is not the America I grew up in. There's one family clip of a woman like going off in like a stulen accident and like, meanwhile, her toddler like two three year old is like sitting with it, Yeah with no car seat in this, in this in the passenger seat of a pickup truck, and she's like ranting about her safety and her freedoms are being like infringed upon. So like it's not a thing until we make it a thing, right, But these need to be implemented because yeah, again it's not a it's not a safe card. But there are these are just measures that would help. 01:48:19 Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. I just feel there needs to be more when it comes to renewing your license and just getting your license in general. Yeah, like it's it's fucking wild. I have not taken I took a road test at seventeen to get my license. I have not taken one sense. 01:48:34 Speaker 1: Yeah, the way you were talking other days, Yeah, I'm. 01:48:39 Speaker 6: A no license plate. He doesn't want that out. 01:48:43 Speaker 3: I'm an amazing driver. 01:48:45 Speaker 1: After Roary was going to fuck, the lady behind him, thought he was about to hit her car. 01:48:48 Speaker 5: She was just standing there. 01:48:49 Speaker 2: She was standing there like, oh, please don't tap my car, Please don't hit my car. 01:48:53 Speaker 1: And then you backed out in and out four times. 01:48:55 Speaker 6: It was not eight, you guessed how many times. It was definitely more for it was more than four. Damn. 01:49:01 Speaker 3: Now you guys like you guys are legitimately lying. 01:49:03 Speaker 6: Because then you like ripped it on the curve more than I get it. 01:49:07 Speaker 3: I got in on the third one. The first one I was joking with y'all. The second one I really fucked up. The third I parked. 01:49:12 Speaker 1: No, that's a fact that. 01:49:19 Speaker 6: I remember. She already got a rash, already go to key had in Florida. 01:49:28 Speaker 1: Yeah, her car was not not Was that the last one? Well? 01:49:33 Speaker 6: I wanted to play one more.
