Speaker 1: Welcome everyone.

00:00:01
Speaker 2: It is the Local Toy Dealers KSR postgame show. A heck of a win and a heck of a night for Kentucky basketball as they come back from an eighteen point deficit and hit a shot that'll go in the in the regular season archives for Kentucky. Malachi Moreno with our own Christian Lightner shot to get the victory, seventy five seventy four on the road in a game that I'm not sure Kentucky really deserved to win.

00:00:31
Speaker 1: But they needed to win anyway.

00:00:32
Speaker 2: And it's now eleven and six on the season, two and two in the SEC I said, I tweeted after the game, this was a season saver, and I genuinely do think it was a season saver. I kind of was of the opinion that I was already thinking when we were down one and they went to shoot the free throws. My assumption was, as I sure I'm sure everybody's was, that we were probably gonna lose a game, and I kind of thought it is more likely than not now that we will not make the tournament. That was my mindset, and now after that win, I think it is a season saving win. Now it's not like a season clinching win. I mean, you still have a lot of stuff you're gonna have to do to even make the tournament. But a loss tonight I think would have been completely a different situation. And the Cats had a miserable first half. Miserable first half, twenty two points offense, scored two field goals in fourteen minutes. It was just it was horrible. But in the second half you saw the makings of a team that can be really good.

00:01:44
Speaker 1: Now.

00:01:44
Speaker 2: It required them to shoot the ball really well. They hit a bunch of threes. I think they hit eight in the second half, maybe nine, but they started to share the ball. They started they went with the lineup that I think is gonna be what they have to do. I think they have to play three guards and then either cam or Yellovich at the four and Moreno at the five, maybe a few minutes here and there for Garrison. I don't know what you do with Diobatee. I really don't, because I don't think he fits in now with what this team has to be. But it is clear that the smaller lineup just works more. It allows these guys, it gives maybe more, and most importantly, it gives oway an Aberdeen driving lanes, because that's clearly what they're better at. And I thought they played really well in the second half. Now LSU hit some shots defensively, it wasn't great in the second half, and so you had a chance for the game to end up where you played really well in the second half, but because of your first half, you weren't gonna win. But they get this play and that play will go down in the UK kind of lore. I mean, I always love these moments where something happens and you go okay. I know that that's one like kind of for the books, and that Malachi moreno shot.

00:03:06
Speaker 1: Malachi has kind.

00:03:07
Speaker 2: Of put himself in a history part of UK sports where they'll be collections of shots to win games, and Malachi's now in them. I mean, just think about all the ones, you know, over the years, A lot of times they are you know, these SEC games, Julius Randalls tip in against LSU at home, Reed Sheppard a couple of years ago against Mississippi State, Eric Daniels on the road against Mississippi State. You know, there's obviously the ones over the years that have been in the tournament, but that one was pretty awesome. With a cross, you know, full court pass.

00:03:46
Speaker 1: I cannot remember a UK game one on a full court pass. Ever.

00:03:57
Speaker 2: I would ask Billy, but he's many things, but he's not really a UK basketball historian. But maybe somebody can tell me on the text machine. I can't remember a full court UK pass. I remember guys dribbling up the court like Nazi Muhammed against Fandy uh Kelton Johnson hit a half quarter but it was to send it to overtime against Seaton Hall.

00:04:19
Speaker 1: But I can't remember a full quarter, So that one goes in the lore and what a huge shot. I mean that might be the difference in making the tournament and not is that play and Colin Chandler I said, what happened? That was one of the great passes of all time and then said in the post game, Malicai Moreno said that Billy that it was not intended.

00:04:40
Speaker 3: For it for him overthrow.

00:04:42
Speaker 1: I think he meant that.

00:04:43
Speaker 2: The play wasn't designed for him because he was the third option. I don't think Colin passed it so badly that he was trying to throw to Moreno on the other side of the court and excuse me throwing it away on the other side of.

00:04:54
Speaker 1: The court and hit Moreno. I'm gonna say he was trying to hit Moreno. I'm gonna give Colin the benefit of it out because that was a great pay if it was to Moreno, that was a great pass. And the guy miss timed his jump.

00:05:06
Speaker 2: And then a huge shout out to Malachi for the like, you know, peace of mind to catch it, turn, not rush, shoot, and it was pure old He almost has like a Bill Cartwright jumper purer right from that free throw line. And now Kentucky is if the tournament were to decide today, I think they're firmly in. And I said they needed to win seven more. I think now they would need to win six more. You get a big victory two and two in the SEC, and now you play at Tennessee on Saturday. In the game you're probably not expected to win, but you've won what three the last four down there, so who knows. I want to give a shout out to some people I thought played really well obviously, oh way, oh way, four straight games to start SEC play with twenty points.

00:06:00
Speaker 1: The last person to do that for Kentucky was Jody Meeks.

00:06:04
Speaker 2: I think a lot of people, myself included kind of were disappointed with Oway in the non conference. This has been the way we want and it's an O way, the way the way he needs to be, which is taking it by brute strength to the basket. His play where he got fouled at the end when we were down two and he only made one free throw, but that play is so him. He basically just you know, barreled into him, drew the foul, and even though he missed the free throw. That's what Oway needs to be. I thought Denzel Aberdeen was really good in the second half, not a great first half. In the second half, not only did he make threes, but he also was able to get penetration. That's the Denzel Aberdeen that they want, you know. Colin Chandler hit a three. Obviously, Malachi was very good. Yellowitch double figures for the game. I thought all five of those guys played great, and then Cam Williams hit a couple of big shots. I mean, this is not the roster, okay, This version of the team is not what Mark Pope thought this team was gonna be. I don't think anybody who drew this team up expected that you would be running at the end of the game. Oway Aberdeen Chandler Williams Moreno with Yellovich as the six man. I don't think anybody saw that coming. But you know what, these guys have found a way to make it work. The rotations have gotten smaller by necessity. Pope has done something that I don't think is easy, which is to put Diabyte on the bench. That is very tough to put a guy that you paid a lot of money for and that is an older player and playing twelve minutes. But it's the right thing to do at least now. And these guys come together hit ten threes, which that's the most we've hit I think against a good team all year, and get a huge road victory. And for those of you that can remember, that's two buzzer beating wins at LSU, one for the men's team and one for the women's team. And also, by the way, you probably just got that coach at LSU Billy fired.

00:08:12
Speaker 3: Well, yeah that what did the ad say today?

00:08:13
Speaker 1: You don't that they didn't make the tournament? They'd have to evaluate and start Zho and four.

00:08:20
Speaker 2: With I think three losses at home, I think it's gonna be hard for them to make the tournament. So great win for the Cats seventy five, seventy four. When we come back, since she was such good luck last time, Billy, we're gonna lead off with malachismo.

00:08:37
Speaker 3: Oh awesome, Okay, how's that?

00:08:39
Speaker 1: Yeah? I love that?

00:08:40
Speaker 2: All right, A five twenty two eighty seven. The rest of you get on. If you want to talk about the things that didn't go right, we can. But I also think we should acknowledge that we won, and that was a big time victory and it could end up being the highlight of the season. We'll see, but I'm gonnat least enjoy it for tonight. AF I'm nine two eighth twenty two eighty seven. We'll take a break and be right back. It is the local Towiter Dealers KSR post game show.

00:09:09
Speaker 4: And now they've got the ball and Chandler will play it in the three players in the front court. Aberdeen's standing just inside the mid court line. Now Yelewitch will go into back court. Chandler looking throws it way up into front court. Marino catches shoots for the wind.

00:09:28
Speaker 1: It get mine. Oh my, they're gonna look at it.

00:09:35
Speaker 2: But the young fella, oh man, what a great pass. Nothing better than hearing Tom and Jack call big time play. Tom getting the reverb on the mic because he's so excited, Jack just saying, oh, like, that's.

00:09:51
Speaker 1: That's great stuff right there, the call of the big time victory. Right now.

00:09:55
Speaker 2: By the way, Vandy is down seven at Texas. If Andy were going to lose tonight at Texas, Kentucky would only be.

00:10:03
Speaker 1: A game back the SEC. There would after four games, not be any undefeated team in the SEC already. If we just beat Missouri Billy, we'd be tied for I'm not gonna be upset because we won tonight, and that is uh, that is the key, all right.

00:10:20
Speaker 5: Uh?

00:10:20
Speaker 2: Now, we had good luck last week when the show ended with Malco Moreno's mom Sarah, So why not after her son's big time shot bring her back?

00:10:34
Speaker 1: Sarah? You gotta be on Cloud nine right?

00:10:37
Speaker 6: Oh my goodness, I don't even know what to say. I am. I think Cloud ten or eleven?

00:10:44
Speaker 1: Yeah? Where did you watch the game? Where were you?

00:10:49
Speaker 7: Well?

00:10:49
Speaker 6: I was actually sitting on my couch at home.

00:10:51
Speaker 1: Okay, So now paint the scene for me because I need the scenes.

00:10:55
Speaker 2: All right, So you're watching the game, it's been it's been nerve wracking I'm sure play what's in your mind before Chandler inbounds the ball?

00:11:06
Speaker 8: Please let it just hit somebody who has enough wherewithal to let it fly.

00:11:11
Speaker 6: That's all I was thinking. I was not thinking, oh, give it to Malachi, no way.

00:11:16
Speaker 8: I was thinking, just get it to somebody so they have enough time to at least touch their fingers and let it fly.

00:11:23
Speaker 6: And then when I.

00:11:24
Speaker 2: Watch the ball and then you see it go into Malachi's hands, what happens?

00:11:29
Speaker 8: Well, I like immediately stood up and then I saw the ball go in, and I think I screamed so loud that I'm really surprised that, like my neighbors didn't call the police. Well, and then I called Malachi and so he has on his voicemailed me screaming.

00:11:46
Speaker 6: So I'm just waiting for him to hear that.

00:11:48
Speaker 1: Oh I would love to actually get to hear that.

00:11:50
Speaker 2: So it's gotta be weird though, when you're at home and you have this great moment with your son, but you're but he's down there.

00:11:58
Speaker 1: Are you sitting there like trying to listen, read, hear anything? Like what are you doing? Oh?

00:12:05
Speaker 6: I was all over?

00:12:06
Speaker 8: Well, first off, my phone started blowing up and I had like over one hundred texts in about I don't know, like two minute time span, and so I'm just like, okay, I just need to kind of take a moment because you know, with him being a hometown boy kind of thing, as they say, and you know, being from Great Crossing twenty minutes up the road and all of this, and everyone claims him, which I'm okay with that because they all love him, and so even when he's having a down moment, they still love him, and I'm so happy for that. But I'm sitting there and I start looking and then, if you want to know the truth, I actually went to your page on Twitter to see what time the postgame show was coming to start it, so I.

00:12:45
Speaker 6: Didn't miss it.

00:12:47
Speaker 1: Well, I'm glad you did it. Well, I'm glad you did. Let me listen.

00:12:52
Speaker 2: It's an awesome moment for the team, and it's but it's also an awesome moment for your son. And I have to tell you, just on a personal level, and I didn't even know you until four days ago, I think.

00:13:05
Speaker 1: It's very cool for you.

00:13:06
Speaker 2: As soon as it happened, I said, we got to get his mom on there, so so nice.

00:13:11
Speaker 1: Thank you, Sarah, Thank you very much.

00:13:13
Speaker 2: I hope you tell all those hundred people if you can't text them back, you want to send them a message right here, the people that texted.

00:13:19
Speaker 8: You, Well, just so you know, I am one that does respond to everything. So I've already sent blue hearts to everybody, or at least a little thank you or something.

00:13:28
Speaker 6: I already responded to all of them. But I will say it on your show too. Thank you to everyone in Georgetown that has loved both of.

00:13:34
Speaker 8: My boys through their basketball careers, and of course Malachi is just beginning and elevating, and it's very much appreciated, definitely from this mama's heart to everyone that has supported both of them.

00:13:47
Speaker 1: That's awesome. All right, Well listen, have a great night, Sarah and go cats.

00:13:53
Speaker 6: Absolutely, thank you so much. Matt.

00:13:55
Speaker 1: All right, there you go. How sweet is that, Billy? Even a cold hearted person like you has to enjoy that moment? That is it?

00:14:01
Speaker 3: That is really awesome.

00:14:03
Speaker 9: And I know Sarah would love to hear that Malachi Mareno was our Johnny Rocker personal injury attorney, money maker of the game injured.

00:14:10
Speaker 1: Getting did you do next?

00:14:12
Speaker 9: Two times in a row. And that's the first ever to win two in a row. So injured, get small town compassion with big city results. When you call the Rocker at two seven oh three, two one, four four two nine, Malachi ten points, eight rebounds, two steals, and twenty minutes. He was plus ten and the plus minus tonight and the game winner.

00:14:29
Speaker 2: Johnny Rocker, Boy, that's the that's got to be your biggest honor about the game.

00:14:32
Speaker 1: Is I'm telling you Rocker, role player of the game. That's uh, that's great stuff, all right, eight five nine, two eight oh twenty twenty seven. Let's uh, let's get started.

00:14:42
Speaker 3: Who's up for Jared?

00:14:44
Speaker 1: Jered? Go ahead, Jared.

00:14:47
Speaker 10: Oh Man, how are you gonna put me on after Malachi?

00:14:50
Speaker 1: Sorry, that's just oh gun.

00:14:55
Speaker 10: That was the first one to call in well number one. Congrats to Sarah. Congrat that's to Malachima Reno. Dude, it was awesome. I mean, I don't know how you can even I just can't imagine what she's going through right now. But Malachim Reno awesome. He's grown so much this year. It's just been awesome to watch.

00:15:17
Speaker 11: Uh.

00:15:17
Speaker 10: Proud of the Cats. I'm one of the few people that was actually telling everybody that the Cats were gonna win this game, even when they were down by eighteen in the first half. Really, and I thought that, well, I just thought the offense looked different. They missed a lot of shots in the first half, but it wasn't like, you know, you did four or five passes out of the out of the offense before a shot went up. And that was just different from what the offense has looked like over the last few games. And I was telling people, like.

00:15:49
Speaker 2: One, I watched the first half and I actually thought the offense looked pretty terrible. But I'll but you know what, a lot of shots, Yeah, well, if you're up to miss good, I don't know.

00:16:03
Speaker 10: Every single thing went LSU's way in that first half. Every bounce went their way. And I just, I mean, I told everybody, we're gonna win this game, man, like it's gonna turn around. But uh, but congrats to Pope. Hopefully everybody's not calling for his head anymore like they were at halftime. And uh, last thing I want to say, my buddy Phil, he is uh he's calling out Kentucky. He's got money, he wants to play any of them in a game of horse. He thinks he can beat them all.

00:16:34
Speaker 1: I appreciate the call. That's enough. That's enough, you got I gave you a long time. We don't even talk about your friend Phil uh the the the.

00:16:44
Speaker 2: Key that coming back was that they cut it to seven so quickly, and then LSU hit some shots.

00:16:51
Speaker 1: Now in the second half, you know, that's partially why I'm kind of impressed we were able to hang on because they hit some shots. I mean, it's not like LSU just collapsed.

00:17:01
Speaker 2: LSU scored I think the they scored thirty eight in the first half, thirty six and the second half.

00:17:05
Speaker 1: They were basically the same team in the second half.

00:17:09
Speaker 2: So you know, Kentucky, they earned it in the second half, even though there was never really a moment I thought they were gonna win. But when they when they took the lead on that Cam Williams dunk, I was like, all right, maw, you can win this.

00:17:22
Speaker 1: Let's do it. I didn't think it would be like that. Who's next, Tyler, Tyler? Go ahead, Tyler.

00:17:30
Speaker 12: Oh well, mine is good to talk to you. I'm shocked that I got in. I figured the phone onto the absolute packed night that I guess I got lucky. First of all, I just want to say, if we're being honest with ourselves, Tom Leach is the greatest announcer in the istry of sport, the way that he the way that he calls those big moments. I still go back and watch the Harrisons or the Aaron Harrison shots from I guess now over ten years ago, which is really depressing to think about. But if we're being honest with ourselves. And when I watched it and I ran in the room like I won, but I I think he tweeted something about it, but that reminded me a lot of.

00:18:06
Speaker 1: That was it wasn't.

00:18:09
Speaker 2: The only difference is they played better defense than we did on the Lightner shot. And what I mean by that is they put it. They put a guy on the ball and then they had a guy in front of Malaca. So like I remember, our Feldhouse was behind Lightner and we didn't put.

00:18:25
Speaker 1: Anybody on the ball, but they actually had something.

00:18:28
Speaker 2: It was almost as crazy as it sounds, a better play because Chandler had to throw it over the guy and the ball had to go over the LSU defender's hands, so it was a lot. It was the exact same as Lightner, except they played defense a little better than we did well.

00:18:45
Speaker 12: To your point, I think g Patino tweeted something about it, like saying nice play cap, something about that's why you put a guy on the ball or something like that. So I guess he was watching the game and realized, maybe I should have maybe I should.

00:18:56
Speaker 2: Have put it worked even though you did put somebody on the ball. He almost taken up for himself. He was like, see, it could still work even if you put somebody on the ball.

00:19:06
Speaker 12: Gotcha, well, glad to cancel one. I didn't think it was gonna happen until now, Like I hit that shot. I was like, we're gonna because we're like, we're gonna somehow lose this.

00:19:14
Speaker 1: But we didn't.

00:19:14
Speaker 11: And it's a good night.

00:19:15
Speaker 2: So I could talk to him, appreciate the call, Thank you very much. It was it is a good night. Who's next?

00:19:22
Speaker 3: Justin?

00:19:23
Speaker 1: Is next? Justin? Go ahead, Justin.

00:19:26
Speaker 13: I just wanted to bring up it's almost like Pope throughout his analytics that he uses in the second half and went with the lineups that most everybody wants, which is like Cam Williams at the four and then you know Yellovich at the four, and I ain't gonna say everybody wanted that, but Cam Williams at the four just changes the whole the whole way the team can play. And then you have Chandler. It's hitting threes and then all of a sudden it opens up for O way Aberdeen plays better and it's just like he I was like, this is all I got left, and it works.

00:20:03
Speaker 2: I agree with you, and I think Yellovich can do it at the four as well, because he also can spread out like Cam. But I I tend to agree with you. I think the long term best version of this team is Oway Chandler. Excuse me, Oway Aberdeen, maybe some night's Chandler. I still am not giving up on Jasper playing a little bit, uh, Cam Williams at the four, and then I mean maybe it's Yellowvich or Moreno at the five, which is not what anybody would have said, but I think that's kind of true.

00:20:37
Speaker 1: I think it's the case. I think it is.

00:20:39
Speaker 2: I'm now becoming one hundred percent convinced that you have to play either Cam or Yellovich at the four. I just don't think you can play Diabate at the four. I just don't like, at least with the team we have, and we don't have a lot of knockdown shooters with our guards, although they hit shots tonight. I'm kinda I just think you gotta have somebody who presents a threat out there at the four.

00:21:04
Speaker 13: Yeah, And I also thought that he didn't play the lineup very long. But when Diabate came in and he played the five, they switched everything and it seemed like the defense. And they ran that little where they threw the Diabate at the top of the key and done like a dribble handoff, and the floor was just so spread that there's no chance anybody could help on the drive.

00:21:27
Speaker 2: So yeah, I appreciate Diabate can play the five, okay, but I think he has to play the five. I think you just you cannot play diabate with Garrison. I don't think you can play diabate with Quaintons if Quainton's you know, with and when he comes back, and it stinks because there are things he adds and let me say this, we've been on diabate about attitude, et cetera.

00:21:50
Speaker 1: I did watch the end of the game. Nobody was celebrating more than him. That's good.

00:21:55
Speaker 2: I actually went back and watched the bench to see, Okay, what's Diabate's reaction.

00:21:59
Speaker 1: I was glad to see that it was good, as was Jay and Lowe's, but in quite so. Who's next? It's Adam, Adam, go ahead, Adam.

00:22:10
Speaker 14: What's going on? A great win tonight? Two things I noticed, as I think that Pope absolutely tore into them at halftime because their whole facial expressions, their demeanor, everything. They came out with some intensity right at the half. And then also the pick and roll play. I think it was about the two minute mark with Va and Marino out of the timeout that pulled us within one, I believe. I think those were two big key plays of the night, and we almost dug ourselves too big a hole to get out of. But I'm just glad they showed fight in that second half, man, and hopefully we can spark the rest of the season.

00:22:46
Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree with you. I appreciate the call. I think that we almost dug ourselves too big.

00:22:53
Speaker 1: Oh.

00:22:53
Speaker 2: I mean, I the most frustrating part of this game would have been coming back and then not winning. That would have been that would have been very frustrated.

00:23:01
Speaker 1: But we want so It's okay, right, I mean that was ultimately, Uh, that was a big you know, this is a huge win for this team.

00:23:12
Speaker 2: I mean if we if we a turn it around, then this will have been the point it turns around. But b if we don't turn it around and we just grind our way into the tournament, this will be the reason we grind our way into the tournament in my opinion, because if you lose this, I don't know exactly what happens at that point.

00:23:37
Speaker 1: Stu one more than we'll take a break.

00:23:39
Speaker 3: Who's next, Chad?

00:23:41
Speaker 1: Chad? Go ahead? Chad?

00:23:43
Speaker 7: Hey, how you had to doing good? Let's me pay you. Uh, We're doing great. We're gonna be fine. We're gonna be fine. Okay, everybody's gonna be fine. And I was closed door. I yelled at everybody in my house today and I turned the TV off when it was one point eight seconds ago, and I turned it back on and we won. What do you mean was surprised?

00:24:14
Speaker 1: Can I ask you a question, Chad? What do you mean you yelled at everybody in your house?

00:24:19
Speaker 7: Well, I got a wife and a dog and an older kid. I yelled at everybody. Get out. I don't want to see nobody. I was mad at the first quarter.

00:24:34
Speaker 2: Yet you yelled at your wife, kid and dog because because the team was playing bad. Yeah, well it wasn't their fault, though, Chad, it wasn't their fault.

00:24:45
Speaker 7: I know, but I was pulling a ryde. I was mad.

00:24:50
Speaker 14: I think.

00:24:53
Speaker 1: I don't think.

00:24:56
Speaker 7: We scored point six points and twelve minutes. Yeah, I mean, and then I was like, fine, I turned it all and that isn't my living room doing nothing but looking at the walls, turned her back on we won.

00:25:17
Speaker 1: Well, I'm glad. I'm glad for everyone involved that we got the victory. More specifically your your wife, child and dog.

00:25:26
Speaker 7: And uh, he's steal my head.

00:25:30
Speaker 1: Who the dog is or the child? My wife is?

00:25:34
Speaker 7: The wife is bad?

00:25:37
Speaker 1: All right, Ja, you have a good night. I appreciate the call.

00:25:42
Speaker 2: And there you go, Billy basketball in the bluegrasd.

00:25:47
Speaker 9: Or dog or kid or wife? But I mean, who knows who Ryan was yelling at. He was pretty angry in the group text about halftime.

00:25:56
Speaker 2: He was angry in the group text. See Mario though, has a great video at Ksbar. A lot of people left Ksbar.

00:26:02
Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, and the ones at stay got to see a wild celebration and Mario video taped it and that was cool too. All right, well we'll take a break.

00:26:13
Speaker 2: That was quite a second segment there on the Local Toy Dealers KSR post game. We'll have more right after this. This is a big win for the cat Welcome back. It is the Local Toy Dealers KSR postgame show. Great call there by Malachi's mom. I want to if you haven't seen it yet, I retweeted this. Everybody should take a chance on Twitter. I bet it'll end up on ks Kentucky Sports Radio dot com as well if it's not already. The Steven Peake junior who works for who works for KSR as our video guy. His grandfather had been keeping stats for Kentucky every game since nineteen seventy four. He would watch the game and he would keep the stats. And he's gotten older. Last year he had to he had to stop doing it. But Steven convinced him tonight to keep stats one more game and he watched the game. I don't know if that's with Steven's dad, but another persons there, but Steven is with his grandfather and they watched the game and they film the ending of them seeing Malachi shot with his grandfather and it is a really beautiful video. So if you haven't seen it yet, like it's awesome. Steven, Steve, ev Stev and p E A K E K s R. I hope he'll put that on He'll put it. I'm sure he'll put it on the blog. But it's on Twitter now. I hope you I hope you all get to see. That's really to me, like, that's that's Kentucky basketball and that is a very cool, cool video.

00:27:54
Speaker 1: Who's up next, Mike, go ahead, Mike.

00:28:00
Speaker 11: Hey, guys, so tonight, first half, my son lives in Spokane, Washington. You know we're big UK fans. First half, we're texting each other like, you know, bad stuff.

00:28:14
Speaker 2: To be honest, everybody's group texts were bad. I think that's probably fair.

00:28:20
Speaker 1: Yeah.

00:28:22
Speaker 11: Yeah. And then the second half it looked like a completely different team. They look like they came out with some motivation, some hunger. They looked like they had a plan and they executed in a lot of ways. Yeah, we missed some defensive plays, but you know, I want to I want to say this, Malachi is he's a dog and he is going to be a beast in the next two years. And I'm just praying, man that this kid comes back to UK next year, because I think he's going to own it. And I mean he's going to be the face of UK. And that's just me and that's how I feel. And I think the rest of the season, I think this is going to push him forward and I think his confidence level, he's going to own it the rest of the season.

00:29:07
Speaker 1: I believe that. I mean, I think I don't know why not.

00:29:11
Speaker 2: I mean, he's listen, he has been appreciate the costs. You know, we've heard me say, like he's been so much, not just better than I thought, but just been.

00:29:21
Speaker 1: Such a huge addition for this team.

00:29:24
Speaker 2: And I I love the fact that he's versatile when he I think during the offseason he'll pick up and start shooting threes. And when he does, he's got a potential of being All American when you take he's already got a good mid range game. He shoots free throws well, so there's no reason he's not gonna be able to step out and learn threes if he doesn't already able to do it, and then you know he's he can.

00:29:48
Speaker 1: Some of our bigs just kind of throw it at the rim.

00:29:51
Speaker 2: He shoots it and that he has more success that way, and I think I'm with you.

00:29:56
Speaker 1: I think he's got an amazing, amazing future. Who's up next, Mariah? Go ahead?

00:30:04
Speaker 5: Hello, Hi, my name's Malaya and I'm here in New Orleans. Just wanted to say a few things really quick. First, I want to give a shout out to the love of my life, Dane Shepherd and his brother Jesse Shepherd, who are a huge Kentucky fans. But shout out to these guys because they made me a Kentucky fan, yes man. I also want to say that we were at the game tonight and it was electric. I mean, I think there was probably only thirty of Kentucky fans in there in that whole place, but you know what, that win was huge. I think my starting lineup would be number one, number two, su about three in and out and also twenty four and five. I love him like I'm gonna just make my whole little lineup, and I just want to say that that shit was Excuse me, that was very exciting.

00:30:52
Speaker 15: And okay, I gotta ask you a question. Ri hang out your second. I want to ask you a question, all right. The first, do you know these guys' names or just their numbers.

00:31:04
Speaker 5: No, No, honestly, I had the paper in my hand because I don't know anybody's name. But also I'm really bad with names in sports. It's like got sports. I don't know sports. But like, I was so into it, and I know that people in front of us was like so irritated by my screaming. But I was so into it. And I love Kentucky. But they've like, you know, they kind of had to fluster this season because I'm down for my honey. So I'm watching it every time he's watching it.

00:31:31
Speaker 2: You know, And so your honey, Wait a minute, so your honey.

00:31:35
Speaker 1: So, so, first of all, goot sports. I agree, your.

00:31:37
Speaker 2: Honey is a Kentucky fan, and you became a Kentucky fan because of your honey.

00:31:43
Speaker 5: That's right, because he is a Kentucky fan through and through.

00:31:46
Speaker 2: So you and your honey go to the game and you said there weren't very many Kentucky fans.

00:31:52
Speaker 5: Yeah, there wasn't.

00:31:54
Speaker 1: So when he made the shot, did you just lose it?

00:31:59
Speaker 5: Oh?

00:32:00
Speaker 16: Completely?

00:32:00
Speaker 5: And I'll tell you this, we lost it so bad. I broke a nail. And that's a serious deal. And I don't play that.

00:32:11
Speaker 1: What did your honey do?

00:32:13
Speaker 6: Oh?

00:32:14
Speaker 5: Well, screaming. Look he's like, I don't want no parts of it because I'm out of ntro. But streaming, jumping around. We weren't very excited. There was one we were next to maybe four other Kentucky people, and everybody else seemed like they were just on the other side. It was very We felt very alone while we.

00:32:32
Speaker 1: Were down, but then you were together.

00:32:36
Speaker 5: And to come back and win.

00:32:38
Speaker 1: That, you're a joint. Go ahead.

00:32:42
Speaker 5: Oh sorry, I was gonna say it was very exciting to win this one on that last shot because we were also there when we lost what was that two years ago on that last shot.

00:32:52
Speaker 1: Yeah, that.

00:32:54
Speaker 5: Very moment.

00:32:58
Speaker 1: Yeah, you're a joy. You're a joy.

00:33:02
Speaker 2: I hope you and your honey have a wonderful evening.

00:33:05
Speaker 1: And thank you for giving us a call.

00:33:08
Speaker 5: Thank you so much for having me on your show. I love you, guys. Thank you, Bye bye bye.

00:33:14
Speaker 2: I gotta tell you when it comes to like a day of phone calls, when you go when you start this morning with Bob and Jamestown and you go to the mom and then you have whatever that was with Chad, and then you have this like it's been quite a day of phone calls, and she seems fun. I want to go to next two when we go to LSU in two years, I want to go to the game with her.

00:33:42
Speaker 3: Her given the numbers was great?

00:33:43
Speaker 2: That was I like, she likes one and two. She five is her favorite. You know, she may know the numbers better than me.

00:33:51
Speaker 1: What is it? Let's see what do you got? One? Is is Aberdeen correct? Three is cam right? Two is Jazzer correct? Five? See, I don't, I don't the numbers? Go on? Is that Colin?

00:34:08
Speaker 3: It is correct?

00:34:09
Speaker 1: Okay, you're doing good? Okay? And then is Malachi twenty four?

00:34:16
Speaker 3: Malachi is twenty four? That's correct?

00:34:19
Speaker 1: And then I don't know what Yollovich is about? Garrison is ten Oway is twenty two?

00:34:29
Speaker 3: Double zero?

00:34:30
Speaker 2: Oh? I knew it was two of something. I should know. No way, that's that's a mistake. I should have gotten them all right, who's next?

00:34:36
Speaker 3: Butler?

00:34:36
Speaker 1: Butler? Go ahead, Butler?

00:34:39
Speaker 17: I mean always, that's a givenness.

00:34:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't.

00:34:43
Speaker 2: If I had thought about that, I was right, I had in my mind. I was thinking about, Yeah, it's double zero. I should have got no go ahead?

00:34:50
Speaker 17: Yeah, okay. Anyways, the first of all I want to say thank you, Billy for taking my call. I'll listen to the pre game show and you all every single day. I can't live with that. That's what gets me through my workday. You know, I got my every buddy, and I'm listening to you all while I'm cooking and serving all these kids at Dagger. Well I didn't explain that.

00:35:14
Speaker 2: Well, I'm well, first of all, that's an awesome gig for I mean, that's both got to be difficult but also rewarding.

00:35:22
Speaker 17: Right, Yeah, it's it's you know what, it's the first job I've had in a long time where I got the weekends off, and you know, I get I get vacation paid off. If I get a snow day sometimes, you know, they'll pay us for that off.

00:35:41
Speaker 1: So it sounds like, again, well, good, so we thank you for listening during all that time.

00:35:48
Speaker 17: Yeah, I've well, you know I've been.

00:35:51
Speaker 1: Calling since no I know your voice.

00:35:53
Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, I've.

00:35:55
Speaker 17: Been calling for probably fifteen years now, fourteen fifteen years I think about twenty twelve somewher there.

00:36:04
Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, well I started at twenty ten. So So what you so big win the night? What do you got?

00:36:11
Speaker 17: Okay, all right, Here's what I was gonna go with Pope. I get it that he's not meeting the standard at this point, but if we look at it and we break it down and we really think about it, like honestly within ourselves, he has came back from so many deficits he had in so many games.

00:36:40
Speaker 1: I mean, does that not well no, I mean, like like it's one of those things.

00:36:44
Speaker 2: It's like in football practice when we were here in the UH, when we hear in the in the off season, defense is playing really well, offense is playing really well. And part of it, you go, is well, is the defense good because the offense bad? Or is the defense good because it's good? It is awesome that we keep coming back. But part of the problem is we're so far behind, right, So you know so, but yes, I completely agree with you. One thing that is clear about the Mark Pope era the teams do have the ability to fight back.

00:37:16
Speaker 17: So my question is that not does that not kind of I mean, it don't solidify. I get that, but does that not kind of show that he does know what he's doing. He's just not Maybe he's not a first half coach. I don't know, but he's he's kicking butt in a second and a half the game.

00:37:38
Speaker 2: Yes, but we're gonna have to get a better first. I don't know what it says, and I appreciate the call. What it does says to me and thank you. I enjoyed, enjoyed hear from you. It does say to me that we've that they don't. The game is not when you fall like let me give an example. Are UK football team this year? I felt like as soon as we fell behind, it was done and go to sleep. I don't feel that way about this team. They can come back. They have come back, you know, even in this year's team, which has been disappointing at times, big come back against Saint John's, big comeback against uh UH tonight, and even comebacks in losses to uh North Carolina, to uh UH, to Missouri and to Louisville. So but we just can't keep getting getting getting down by so much at the beginning.

00:38:28
Speaker 1: But you know they did come back. Let's do one more and we'll take a break, Tim, Tim, go ahead, Tim, Hey.

00:38:36
Speaker 17: What's up Matt Jones?

00:38:37
Speaker 16: First off, prayers continued for your father man he is uh. We were thinking about him and it's just you know. First first, I want to say, it's just an honor to be on the air again with Billy the real dude, and I'm excited about that. Thank you for letting me do that. I just wanted to make a state. I wanted to make a say Billy, Billy.

00:38:58
Speaker 7: Wants to talk.

00:38:58
Speaker 11: I will be ahead, all right.

00:39:03
Speaker 7: I just wanted to say something real quick.

00:39:05
Speaker 16: And then I'll I'll leave it. I'm gonna say a question at the end and I'll hang up and you guys can answer it. My statement I want to say first off, is you know, just being real. All jokes aside, a lot of crazy stuff. Pop it off on the road right now, Let's all just you know, take a breath. Let's be kind to each other. BBN is more important than anything else, so be nice to your BBN friends online. Let's all be nice and kind. And unless they're a little fan, you can you could be as Lena tell you once, to them, I don't care. Uh So, with that being said, though, this game kind of looked like to me, I'm not gonna lie like I watched it. I was like it looked like I was watching a game at a Y m c A. You know, because like neither coach really called any places. They were just one on one basketball and both tends And I just thought that was interesting. And the question I'm gonna leave you with because I get up, is that Jones, honest, do you think next year with this coach we could be a national championship contend And I'll hang up and let's go love you Cameron and Kennedy.

00:40:03
Speaker 2: Uh, you know, I'd have to see the roster. I think that's it would be very hard to say that today. But you know, I mean going into when we get into the off season for next year, there's gonna be a lot of questions. I mean, there's gonna be questions of who do they get in the portal, are they able to get anybody in the recruiting class who comes back?

00:40:23
Speaker 1: You know?

00:40:24
Speaker 2: So there, to me, there are a lot of questions still to come, but those are off season questions. The questions right now are about can you get what's the best you can get out of this team? And for that, this game was a necessity. And Stamford hits another three while they are up four against North Carolina. Seven oh run for Stanford last minute and twenty seconds and they are up four against North Carolin. I don't know if that's good or bad for us because North Carolina of course beat US, but in Texas beats Vandy, so we are only a game back in the s Billy how about that?

00:41:01
Speaker 3: That doesn't I can't comprehend that right now.

00:41:04
Speaker 2: Honestly, well, hey, nobody's undefeated.

00:41:08
Speaker 1: They did, but they also they lost. Just so you know, I'm not giving up a f I'm nine two eight twenty two eighty seven.

00:41:17
Speaker 2: We will take a break and be right back. This is the Local toilet Dealers KSR post game Show. Welcome back. It is the Local three Dealers KSR post game Show. I have multiple requests for Mariah. Hopefully you're still listening. Mariah to join the Ladies of KSR Facebook group. By the way, for those of you that are female listeners, there is an There are two active Facebook groups of KSR listeners. There's bond that bridge, so to speak, which goes back to a famous Ryan Lemon interview with NPR Billy Do you remember that one or was that before your time?

00:41:54
Speaker 3: That was pre billy R sports?

00:41:56
Speaker 1: Did you know that's where that came from? Uh?

00:41:58
Speaker 3: No, I knew it was a Ryan saying I didn't know what it was.

00:42:00
Speaker 1: Oh you didn't know that's where it came from. No. Wow, So there's people listening who know more about ksr's history than you.

00:42:06
Speaker 2: One time, MPR did a a feature about me and about like a sports show that occasionally talks to politics, right, and they interviewed Ryan, and I think because it was on MPR, he wanted to sound smart, you know, so he said, Matt likes to bond that bridge, so to speak.

00:42:32
Speaker 3: That makes a lot of sense in that context.

00:42:35
Speaker 1: But that's like not the same. But the problem is, because that's not.

00:42:39
Speaker 2: The same, I now can't remember the real sayings because I just say that all the time, he's ruined what was supposed to be, you know, the sayings.

00:42:51
Speaker 1: Right.

00:42:52
Speaker 2: So point being, we named that the Facebook group, so that's spawned that bridge, so to speak. But then Mariah, there's one called Ladies of KSR twenty two hundred women.

00:43:01
Speaker 1: They're awesome. They do the sweetest things. They send us Christmas gifts.

00:43:05
Speaker 2: They sent my dad all these cards they do, and like, you should join it there. I've had multiple people in that group request you to join it. So you just google Ladies of ks right, if you're a female listening right now. They'll they'll accept you, they will not accept men. I'm the only one in it, and I promised your really not to read it a lot so that they can have their privacy.

00:43:26
Speaker 1: Oh okay, all right, who's up next?

00:43:28
Speaker 18: Logan logan, go ahead, logan, logan, all right, we'll logan Jack, Jack, go ahead, Jack.

00:43:43
Speaker 19: Hey, Matt actually watching this the last two minutes of the game at a movie theater on a date, and I almost turned the game off when when oh wait, missed the second free throw. But I'm glad I stayed in Washington. I think almost just how the day go build the pop one?

00:44:00
Speaker 20: Everywhere the day good?

00:44:02
Speaker 19: I was watched it was good?

00:44:04
Speaker 1: What what date was this?

00:44:06
Speaker 4: Like?

00:44:06
Speaker 1: Second?

00:44:06
Speaker 2: Third?

00:44:08
Speaker 13: Uh?

00:44:09
Speaker 1: Ses? I think, so, how is this gonna be a real thing? Like are you gonna are you taking this seriously?

00:44:16
Speaker 7: Yeah?

00:44:17
Speaker 2: I mean I think once you get to five, like it's either be serious or not. You can't you can't play around after five? Okay, so we're you're you're trying to make this.

00:44:27
Speaker 19: Work, taking it serious lye okay?

00:44:30
Speaker 1: Good, yes, sir, good all right, now go ahead? Yeah. Yeah.

00:44:33
Speaker 19: And then my second thing was I don't know if there will be a sophomore Mallet came Reno because I think he was projicted second round to start the year, and he's been climbing up the draft boards all year, and you know you got that just got a lead shot blocking. And if he puts on forty fi pounds in an NBA nutrition system, I think could be a.

00:44:57
Speaker 2: I think you I think you get another year out of him. I mean, and I appreciate the call. This is an elite draft, so you know there'll be a guy go tenth or eleventh in this year's draft who might go second or third to next year's draft. Like this is an elite draft. I also think you know, I mean, I think you probably get a second year out of it. Again, I don't know. We only had his mom on the show. She didn't say so, I don't know for sure, but I would I would think he'd be back.

00:45:26
Speaker 1: But listen, he's got a pro future. There's no doubt he does.

00:45:30
Speaker 2: He definitely has a professional future if he keeps improving at the rate he's been going. Let's do four more. We'll call to night. Who's next, David, David, go ahead, David.

00:45:42
Speaker 21: Hey, Matt Jones is calling you first time since twenty twelve championship game.

00:45:48
Speaker 2: Oh well that was that was an exciting night. I sat on the floor of the UH I believe it was the Radison in New Orleans and stayed up into the night taking calls and listening to Well.

00:46:00
Speaker 1: Actually the show started in the.

00:46:01
Speaker 2: Superdome where I walked around the back halls and had people on UH and I I wish we could find that show. Oscar Combs was on it. It was a great show. And then and then it ended in the floor. Yeah, but go ahead.

00:46:18
Speaker 21: Yeah, I was taking a kid downtown because they was They happened to be spring break when we won that game. So anyway, I had a funny happen tonight. I'm actually in the hospital UK and UH. I was watching the name and the nurses was working on me.

00:46:34
Speaker 1: Yeah, and we won and we won.

00:46:37
Speaker 21: That made both of them jump.

00:46:40
Speaker 20: It's like what happened?

00:46:41
Speaker 21: I was like, we won the game because.

00:46:46
Speaker 2: God, so you did your what did your vitals do something that.

00:46:50
Speaker 1: Made them run in?

00:46:53
Speaker 21: No, No, they didn't run in.

00:46:54
Speaker 1: They was just.

00:46:55
Speaker 21: Working on me every couple of hours. They got to take all my numbers, you know.

00:47:00
Speaker 1: So you made them jump and it was it.

00:47:03
Speaker 21: Was a you know, it was at the end and I was like, and I can't believe that guy missed both those free throws. I thought, you know what, so you're staying there's a chance.

00:47:13
Speaker 2: So I first of all, you don't have to tell me what you're in the hospital for. But I hope whatever it is, I hope it all turns out okay. And uh, do you know how much I love that you're sitting in the hospital and you're calling the UK post game show.

00:47:28
Speaker 21: Well, I had a text to my boy Brent and he's like, dude, you have to yet caught into his twenty twelve. So shout out to the Andy's becoming parents next month. Woper excited for them.

00:47:41
Speaker 1: Well, well, listen, get better and don't beat don't wait fourteen years for the next one. Okay.

00:47:49
Speaker 21: Well, you know, this has been a down and out and I think that's exact the exact spark we need. I think maybe it'll put put a little fire under my hope.

00:47:58
Speaker 2: I hope you're right. I appreciate the call, sir, thank you very much. I mean, what a legendary night of the night of calls. I mean, seriously, Mariah, you know Sarah, Sarah, the Mom date Hospital, Chad, What what is happening tonight?

00:48:25
Speaker 3: They got to get it out after a big win?

00:48:28
Speaker 1: Three more? Who's next?

00:48:29
Speaker 22: Angus, Angus, Hey, my guy's how y'all doing tonight?

00:48:34
Speaker 1: I'm doing great.

00:48:36
Speaker 22: Good me too happy to be calling after a win, so I'm not going to be super negative. Malacamorino for president. First of all, my question is what, if anything, can we do to prevent these slow starts on offense? What lineup rotation can we use. I've went through every every rotation I could think of in my head and cannot get a lineup that can prevent these you know, twelve oh runs to start.

00:48:57
Speaker 2: You know, I don't know that they're is like a magical like these are the people because they've started lots of different people and it hasn't started well, and then they've I do think the one consistent theme if you look at all the games where we have played well for big stretches.

00:49:16
Speaker 1: Of time, it has required us to have four people who can shoot in the game. Whoever that is right.

00:49:25
Speaker 22: And not at least my second point, I miss having elite level basketball players and an elite level basketball team, like I'm not saying these guys aren't good, but they're just not what we're accustomed to a Kentucky and they have their moments of brilliance, don't get me wrong, but we don't.

00:49:38
Speaker 1: Have No, we don't.

00:49:39
Speaker 2: We don't have we don't have the elite superstar NBA level talent. I would agree with you on that, certainly on the perimeter, which is where I think it's the most obvious sometimes.

00:49:54
Speaker 1: But I will say this. You know, we had a lot of those guys, and.

00:49:58
Speaker 2: It came a point that we were losing to Oakland's and Saint Peter's with those guys. So there's got to be a balance here where we find a way to create a roster that has some of that talent, but that also has guys who are experienced, et cetera.

00:50:14
Speaker 1: And I hope that's what ends up ends up having. I appreciate to call it two more. Who's up next, Let's go to Jose, Jose, Go ahead, Jose.

00:50:26
Speaker 20: So I want to say that I'm glad that we finally cleared up how to pronounce Malachai Mordano's name. It was really it was really bugging me to hear it on the on the radio and the and the TV broadcast, but man, what what a game. I I had to watch it on on on replay recorded, so I was working and and uh so I'm fresh off all the emotions.

00:50:55
Speaker 1: Oh really, so you actually finished it late? So it just for you? It just ended. I like it.

00:51:01
Speaker 20: Yes, yeah, they maybe fifteen minutes ago. I immediately got on the postgame show.

00:51:05
Speaker 1: I just love it.

00:51:06
Speaker 20: Got al Malakai, What what a game. I'm glad that he's he's paying out better than we thought. And uh, regarding our other Kentucky freshman, Jasper Johnson, man, I hope he says for another year he grows a little bit better. I'm glad he can get his shot. But when he gets a shot, it just hits the side of the backboard. That's uh.

00:51:29
Speaker 2: I still think though, in team more improvement, I agree.

00:51:33
Speaker 1: But if this team, and I appreciate the call, if they're gonna be good, if they're gonna take another jump from where they are.

00:51:39
Speaker 2: He's gonna have to be part of that. That thing he is, and I think Pope knows that. I think that's why he's trying to fit him in.

00:51:46
Speaker 1: Tonight.

00:51:46
Speaker 2: They got so far behind that they just had to roll with what they had. But they're gonna need him because right now, I mean, think about it. If you if you believe like I do, you got to play three perimeter players. If you don't play Jasper the Billy, you only have three perimeter players.

00:52:05
Speaker 1: Yeah, you maway Aberdeen and Chandler. You don't have anybody.

00:52:08
Speaker 3: You may just need him for some short spurts to give the guys.

00:52:10
Speaker 2: So I think you got a blaime some because you don't. I don't think this team can win without playing three guards and find out we only have three cards, so in less, Jasper play. So I think you're gonna have to play Jasper and I want to see him get better. Let's do one more and call it a night after a heck of a heck of an evening. Yeah, Chris, Chris, go ahead, Chris, Chris.

00:52:39
Speaker 1: Well, we can't end with that. So just the next person that calls in, Billy, Yeah, I got them. Hold on, let him through, just let him through, all right? Who is this? Who is this? Tony? You're gonna finish strong, go for it.

00:52:56
Speaker 20: I'm a good good call fins on first time, really really long time.

00:53:00
Speaker 11: Who forty years ago?

00:53:02
Speaker 20: Forty years ago.

00:53:06
Speaker 1: No, where'd he go?

00:53:07
Speaker 3: Ann he's still on. He must have muted.

00:53:09
Speaker 1: Tony, did you you might have muted it? Try to fix it up? Oh, Tony, Well, we can't end on that.

00:53:15
Speaker 3: All right, hold on, hold.

00:53:16
Speaker 2: On, you're just gonna throw somebody else on it. Okay, five two eighty seven. Don't leave me hanging. This has been a great night of calls. We can't finish with somebody who accidentally hangs up their phone. He had forty years worth of history.

00:53:30
Speaker 1: Ready. Well, while he's getting ready, let me go through the week real quick. Uh.

00:53:34
Speaker 2: Tomorrow is my triviat cas Bar, seven o'clock.

00:53:38
Speaker 1: Get your team out there. We will be at the bar for the game.

00:53:42
Speaker 7: Uh.

00:53:42
Speaker 1: During the day, we also have our cover zero podcast and uh a news podcast with me and Drew and Billy uh as as well. Tomorrow. Do we have someone?

00:53:52
Speaker 3: No?

00:53:53
Speaker 1: No, what are you doing? Billy? Are you hanging up on people?

00:53:56
Speaker 21: No?

00:53:56
Speaker 3: I'm not hanging up, but you know I can't.

00:53:58
Speaker 1: Get off here. Okay, all right, who is this here? Muture? Turned down your radio? Turned down your radio?

00:54:11
Speaker 7: All right?

00:54:11
Speaker 1: All right, go for it.

00:54:15
Speaker 23: Hey, I just think it was a great win tonight. But uh, I had a couple a couple of questions about while we seem to be confused on our defensive switches, uh, whenever we're playing defense and still just uh confused by what he can't make as.

00:54:34
Speaker 2: Uh, yeah, well they don't. They do sometimes switch poorly. I thought they did a really good job in the second half. There were a couple times where we gave big shots in the second half to l s U guys. One of them was Diabata. He played like five seconds a really good defense and put his hands down and his guy made a three. There was another position where I thought Brandon Garrison slid his feet and played really good defense and then at the last second fouled the guy.

00:55:00
Speaker 1: Same thing with o Way.

00:55:01
Speaker 2: I thought he guarded the guy really well and then at the last second fouled him.

00:55:05
Speaker 1: So some of it was just like we were close to a.

00:55:07
Speaker 2: Really good defensive possession and then it would break down right at the last minute, and you know, it is what it is. And they shot fifty three percent from the field, So I think it's also worth noting we beat a team that shot I believe they shot fifty three percent, or at least they with a minute left or something. They were fifty three percent. That's you win a game like that, especially when you're down eighteen. That's pretty good.

00:55:31
Speaker 1: Well, listen, thank you all, great, go ahead, well done, gone, all right, thank you all very much. Hope you have an amazing evening.

00:55:39
Speaker 2: A game winning shot that will go into history books. The Cats take a victory and LSU on a buzzer beater against the Tigers. Cats win. This has been the Local Toy Dealers KSR postgame show
