00:00:07 Speaker 1: Welcome back everybody to Bachelor Happy Hours, Golden Hour. Thanks so much for joining us again. We're so excited to be back. And boy do we have a good day coming. 00:00:16 Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. But before that, check out our latest episode. We've been having so much fun answering your questions, chatting with your Bachelor Nation phase always fun. 00:00:26 Speaker 1: Absolutely, Today we have a very very special guest. And to Kathy and I, it means a whole lot to welcome from our season of Golden Bachelor. 00:00:37 Speaker 3: April's here. Hi, I can't believe I am in the room with both of you. Now. I've had my time with Kathy and I haven't had my gig with you yet. 00:00:49 Speaker 1: And wait, we're neighbors now, are we not? 00:00:51 Speaker 4: You're in New York. We got to set something up now, all right, Well, hold on my. 00:00:56 Speaker 3: First car accident. I have no idea where I'm going dating. 00:01:01 Speaker 2: It's April, April. We cannot We got we got to start one thing at a time. 00:01:07 Speaker 4: There. 00:01:08 Speaker 2: First of all, we're going to back it up. We're gonna we're so excited to see we're gonna get into it all. But we got to start with first things first. One word, April, you know me the English major. In one word, how would you describe your time in Paradise, your experience? 00:01:25 Speaker 4: Just what work? Come on? 00:01:28 Speaker 3: That's a good question, exhilarating, It was freeing for me. That's the word free. 00:01:37 Speaker 4: Free, love it. I love that. Tell me why? 00:01:42 Speaker 3: Because I was ready. I knew enough about the Bachelor by that point, I knew enough about what was going on. I had gone through a lot since I had been on the show that I was able to really let it out and and just for once be myself. The first show, I think I was not ready. I was not over Ralph. I didn't understand the show. I didn't understand girls. I didn't understand that after being with Ralph for twenty one years, I had forgotten what it was like to have girlfriends because you share that and we just hung out together when you're just a couple, you go to dinner together, you go this together. So there I am with girls for the first time, like in twenty one years. I'm like, what the heck do I do? What do I do with this? So now I know what to do with this? And then when I went back to Paradise and they put me with Kat in the room, I was like, well, how was that? 00:02:43 Speaker 4: How was it? How was that relationship with her? 00:02:46 Speaker 3: I love her? She and I have the same trauma. I was like her mom, And in fact, she hooked me up with her mom and she said, I want you to talk to my mom. And I said, that's the nicest honor you could ever give me. 00:03:00 Speaker 2: And April, you got to say, do you remember they said that you are what Cat's going to be. Like Cat's a younger version of you, and I think that's very true. 00:03:13 Speaker 3: I hope she'll be better than me. But yeah, like I'm there for her, but she is a lot like me, and she's impulsive, and sometimes she's blunt, and sometimes she doesn't think and all those things that I'm still. 00:03:26 Speaker 2: We're not talking about me, April, We're talking about Cat. 00:03:32 Speaker 3: You have made history out of not thinking good. That has become your claim to fame. 00:03:41 Speaker 1: Okay, April, I have to know were you hoping or expecting some new men of the Goldens to be there? What was your thought when you got there of who was there? 00:03:53 Speaker 3: Honestly, what the hell am I going to do with this? 00:03:57 Speaker 4: Exactly? 00:03:58 Speaker 3: I was like, how do I make this work? I wanted to stay on of course, that's the point of the game. But also the point is the fine love. It's about this all figure out wasn't happening here, was not happening. She took Keith as a buddy, which was fine. You know, it's the way of life. 00:04:21 Speaker 2: As Everrol Keith was not interested in any of us. Were he one day be all of our friends? 00:04:26 Speaker 3: But I think he told me right away, you live too far away, that will never happen. 00:04:32 Speaker 4: But can I just tell you in support of Keith, who I love. 00:04:35 Speaker 2: By the way, Keith said the same thing to Nancy when they had their conversation, and he said he learned from that experience that distance should not be a thing. So you know, the moral of this story is you and Nancy maybe get phone calls from Keith, I think. 00:04:49 Speaker 3: But I loved Keith. He was the one who helped me pick Jonathan so no one was watching, and he was like May Kissedory history. 00:05:01 Speaker 1: And I thought I never expected less. I know, although I thought maybe you had it, you would have an interest in one of the younger guys, But what you did it was like, I'm. 00:05:11 Speaker 3: Just going to go out with a young guy this weekend. I think I really need a young guy. I think that. 00:05:19 Speaker 1: Yes, tell me I see you on TikTok with the dating experience. 00:05:22 Speaker 3: We have a news story to tell. It's going to be on TikTok soon. And it gets even better. It's getting even better. 00:05:29 Speaker 1: And tell me the craziest date you were on, except for the hiking one, which I already know. 00:05:35 Speaker 3: The hiking one, the craziest date I was on is when he decided he loved me and told me he loved me the first date and I wasn't even sure. 00:05:45 Speaker 4: And then is this a new guy? Is this a new guy? 00:05:48 Speaker 3: And I'm just going to tell it screw it. So then when he told me he loved me, and then as soon as I told him, I'm going to back up a little bit, it's going too quick. I really just want to have fun. He was out of the game, and he gave me the best excuse not to go out with me. This is something I would say, I think I have a headache. 00:06:12 Speaker 1: No, no, he did not, And I was like, you have a that's you're taking my words, you know. 00:06:19 Speaker 3: I wouldn't even say that. 00:06:20 Speaker 2: It's like I had I'm lost April. Wait, I'm lost you this guy? You had one date with He tells you he's in love. 00:06:27 Speaker 3: With you, right and and well, and then now. 00:06:30 Speaker 4: He doesn't want to go out with you because you said, we don't want to run your mont. 00:06:33 Speaker 3: I swear to God. And he was beautiful, He looked very nice. He fit all my boxes. I was like excited. People would walk up to us. I swear to God, not once, but three times. Two. Three different couples walked up and said, you look like the most beautiful husband and wife. And we looked at each other. 00:06:53 Speaker 4: Good looking couple, a great look. 00:06:56 Speaker 3: And then then it happens again at the ice cream store. And then we take walk by a bench by the water and he says it again, and I think we did look good together. I just one thing I noticed. Girls remember this. Guys are reading everything we're reading. They know how to play the game. He was saying everything right until slips came. Slip of Tom like in other words, I like dogs. He goes, oh, I love dogs. And then later on I said, in a week or so, I said, you know, I'm interviewing. It's really important to me. I'm interviewing for dogs sitters so I can stay out late. He goes, well, they're just dogs. 00:07:38 Speaker 4: Yeah, let's the truth be told. 00:07:40 Speaker 3: You so if you wait long enough. 00:07:43 Speaker 4: Oh yeah, The truth though, was find its way to the surface. 00:07:47 Speaker 1: You just mentioned that checked everything off your list. What are the main qualities that you look for in a middle he was. 00:07:55 Speaker 3: He pretended to be spiritual. I really like that. He pretended. 00:08:00 Speaker 2: Wait, can I just say this is so April? He pretended. He pretended. No, no, I love it. It's so you go ahead. 00:08:07 Speaker 4: He was trying to you. 00:08:08 Speaker 3: Yes, he was very good. Wait a minute, you're gonna love this. He's the only man I ever went out with that put eyebrow pencil on and curled his eyelashes. He's the only guy I've ever went out that knows more new uh beauty treatments and plastic I kept looking. I was like wondering, if we really kissed like smoosh, smush smush, would our makeup smear on each other? 00:08:40 Speaker 4: Wait? Wait, wait, inquiry minds want to know. Did you make out with him? And did your makeup smush? 00:08:46 Speaker 3: I didn't because I just I could. I wanted to the eyebrows that got in my. 00:08:52 Speaker 2: All right enough to rejects. April, tell about the good ones. I want to know the good ones who are the good ones you're dating. 00:08:59 Speaker 3: I don't know. 00:09:02 Speaker 4: What are you looking for? 00:09:03 Speaker 3: And I am looking for someone who is very powerful, not money wise, powerful that I feel safe with, that really sees me in all my flaws. I do not always curl my hair like this. I did this for you, Susan your thank you? 00:09:20 Speaker 4: What did you do for me? April? 00:09:22 Speaker 3: I showed up because I love you. Okay, so, I but powerful really sees me and will protect me. And I know in the dark moments when I screw up, which I do, they're going to say, Okay, let's fix this, but not control me. Fine fine line from being someone who is there for you and is that big, beautiful, strong bear and will attack when asked, or someone who will let me kind of go through waters. And then I come home crying and they go, I'm here to talk about it. What what could we do? 00:10:02 Speaker 4: Yeah? 00:10:10 Speaker 2: So, So I want to know when when you were on the show with us before you lived in Florida. I know you recently moved to New York. You're loving New York. Tell us a little bit. The men are better in New York. Tell us about the move, tell us all about it. 00:10:24 Speaker 3: The move was this was the hardest. Honestly, other than Ralph dying, this was the hardest thing I've ever done. They don't take my health insurance here. They I have to find new doctors. I have to find new plastic surgeons. My lips messed up here. That's not I have to The dogs are not used to this. We're used to having our own backyard. I bought a beautiful condo. It's gorgeous. It looks like I'm in Pleasantville. The people are nice, but it's a little further out than I would want. 00:10:55 Speaker 4: It's where are you exactly? 00:10:57 Speaker 3: I am outside of Nayak. I'm on the Hudson Bay. I walk, I live near water. Every day it's on. I have a. 00:11:07 Speaker 4: That wind is going to blow in the winter. Ready for winter. 00:11:12 Speaker 1: No, no, But you're close to your grandchildren, right. 00:11:16 Speaker 3: I love them. In fact, Piper is going to be auditioning for a dance or a play, and her mother sent me a video of the dance and I'm like, think teacher, and I'm like, yes, yes. 00:11:33 Speaker 4: You so you're going to stay put? 00:11:35 Speaker 2: I mean you don't. Sounds like I can't decide do you love where you are or not? 00:11:39 Speaker 3: I don't know. I am surely been there a minute, right, right, I've also been there a minute. I still don't have anything like I have a garage for New York. You know you have a garage. I have a guest space. I have all my laundry, I have everything. It's two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's as maybe as almost as big as yours, Susan without the attached garage. Raja is underneath the building. 00:12:01 Speaker 4: But I don't. 00:12:02 Speaker 3: I mean, it's also at my age. I really don't want to do yard less is more. 00:12:08 Speaker 2: Oh you say that, but you do your pool, You're out in the yard. 00:12:12 Speaker 4: You like doing it. Don't say less keeps me busy. 00:12:15 Speaker 2: I keep saying to Susan, get rid of that house. Yeah, but you don't want to go back to it, don't. 00:12:20 Speaker 1: Let's deal with you have a house now, Well, it's still house that I originally had. I came back from leaving the city, redid the whole thing and put a new pool in, new decked in everything. 00:12:31 Speaker 3: The one that I knew before with. 00:12:33 Speaker 1: You though, that was my condo in Philadelphia and now suburbs. 00:12:38 Speaker 3: With a corner property. 00:12:40 Speaker 4: And I mowed the loan. 00:12:42 Speaker 2: And yeah, that's why I said when she said lessons more, I don't believer she's out there raking so she loves it. Okay, Wait, I want to ask before we get back to dating and all this. I want to know who who do you talk to to keep customers from Paradise? 00:12:56 Speaker 3: Do? 00:12:56 Speaker 4: Who do you keep in touch with from Paradise? 00:12:59 Speaker 3: Paric It's my favorite? And wait, we talk a lot about mental health. She's a counselor. I'm a counselor, Leslie, I talked to who else? I try to catch up with Nancy, but every time we try to get together, she's with her kids or I'm with my kids. And honestly, I haven't done too much because I've been trying to get c together. 00:13:26 Speaker 4: So what about Jonathan? 00:13:28 Speaker 3: No, I think Jonathan's afraid of me? 00:13:30 Speaker 2: What about Sean? You did a body shot? For God's sakes. 00:13:34 Speaker 3: I you didn't know that was going to happen at all. 00:13:37 Speaker 4: It was adorable. 00:13:38 Speaker 1: But wait, I have to tell you smelling the underwear was over the top, which. 00:13:43 Speaker 4: I go, oh my god, she did not. 00:13:47 Speaker 3: This is a fact from your counselor friend. Here people fall in love by scent well more than any other place. 00:14:00 Speaker 2: Yay, Okay, God so you're she's a smell person. Well you're beautiful, you look fabulous. So what are you doing to occupy your time other than fending off men and I'm. 00:14:16 Speaker 1: Decorating you on a dating site? Is they're always in New York? 00:14:24 Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, they're always in New York. I find the men nicer quality than in Florida, which is weird because most of those men go down to Florida. 00:14:31 Speaker 4: I know, I know they change. 00:14:36 Speaker 3: I don't know what they do. 00:14:37 Speaker 4: Yeah, what do you miss about Florida? 00:14:40 Speaker 3: Everything I missed? The What do I miss? My plastic surgeon, all my hair people? 00:14:46 Speaker 4: What else? Do you wait? You know I'm going down this road. What the hell else do you want to do? You have got a perfect face, now you've got But I'd like. 00:14:53 Speaker 3: To know they're there. I like to you know, I was in love with all of them. I had a crush on my plastic surgeon. 00:15:00 Speaker 4: Well, you can go back to Florida if you want to get more. 00:15:03 Speaker 3: Well, I'm going to go back and make a great surgeons in New York City. 00:15:07 Speaker 4: You know this. 00:15:08 Speaker 3: You know what bothers me the most, And maybe you guys can help me. How do I learn to get to New York City. I'm afraid. 00:15:16 Speaker 2: I mean, I just you take you take the ferry across, and you take the train from the You just google where is the closest commuter. 00:15:25 Speaker 3: Train ferry right outside my house? 00:15:28 Speaker 2: So take So you'll take that across and if and in the winter, if they stop the f and they'll just take it to the closest town that has the commuter training. 00:15:38 Speaker 3: You know why, three hot guys are down there that want me to meet them, and I really want to meet them. I mean there. 00:15:46 Speaker 4: In New York City. 00:15:47 Speaker 3: Yeah, once from Paris one. Oh he's got long cruel there. He's just I kind of like my guys, a little rough, not rough with me, but I mean the little rugged. I don't want to. Yeah. 00:16:05 Speaker 4: So who's the young when you have a date with April? And how young is young? 00:16:09 Speaker 3: How? Yeah? Sixty So that's. 00:16:13 Speaker 4: Not Young's sixty nine? 00:16:15 Speaker 2: How old are you April sixty eight? Sixty nine, seven, sixty seven, that's not young. Mine's fifty five and I'm going to I'm sixty eight. 00:16:24 Speaker 3: No tell me about that. Yeah, so you go to this house, in his house, he's here, now, Oh he's here? Is he learning English? I heard that he doesn't speak much. 00:16:36 Speaker 1: He speaks way better English than I do French. 00:16:40 Speaker 4: Are you studying the French anymore? A little bit? I can't get it. 00:16:43 Speaker 1: I could read it a little bit, but to speak it now? 00:16:47 Speaker 3: Oh, just we are real, come hotel, who's doing? That's all I know? 00:16:54 Speaker 2: As long as you got to learn one in April Cuchet, you can learn that one. 00:17:01 Speaker 3: Oh I know obviously she knows that. 00:17:05 Speaker 4: Hey, I studied French for five years. I could, I could. 00:17:08 Speaker 1: I speak in French and Spanish and in English all at the same time. He gets one language, right, that should triple her men that are available. 00:17:20 Speaker 2: Let'sten this, this podcast, blessedly is not about me and my dating life. 00:17:26 Speaker 3: Like like that. 00:17:31 Speaker 4: Crickets. 00:17:34 Speaker 2: I mean, I just you know, it's just I've had some dates. But yeah, no, I don't. 00:17:41 Speaker 3: Have true for you. It is for me. I can pretty much tell in fifteen minutes whether I'm attracted. 00:17:47 Speaker 4: No, five. 00:17:50 Speaker 3: Five minutes can really tell. 00:17:51 Speaker 4: But I will tell you. 00:17:53 Speaker 2: I will tell you, and I actually I was going to ask you this looks when I mean, looks for important. But I'm in an age now where I want the guy who is kind, who's going to spoil me rotten. He doesn't have to be the best looking man on the planet. Are you still has to be the best looking man on the planet. 00:18:13 Speaker 1: Not the best looking man, but attractive to me. I still have to be attracted. 00:18:17 Speaker 3: I have to. 00:18:18 Speaker 4: Of course, you have to be a trag. 00:18:19 Speaker 2: But I'm saying I used to just look at men and say, you know, if they if I didn't see my version of Adonis, he was out. 00:18:28 Speaker 4: I'm not like that anymore. 00:18:29 Speaker 3: I am. I have to really want to rip your clothes off in the bathroom at the restaurant or. 00:18:37 Speaker 4: Or you're not going to I really want to kiss you, like I want to know. I want to kiss you. 00:18:44 Speaker 3: And I want to know that I want to breathe on you. I want to sell you. 00:18:48 Speaker 4: She knows, Susan, Susan. Let me make the simple. April. 00:18:52 Speaker 2: April has to know that she can rip off his underpants and sniff them and be attracted to him and then stuff his underpants in her bra for. 00:19:00 Speaker 3: He When he did that, I was like, he's a good kisser. He was a good kisser. Or I haven't been kissed so long? Anything, anything is good, right. 00:19:10 Speaker 1: No, tell me your favorite time on paradise, Like, did you have a moment that you can't stop thinking about the moment something different. 00:19:19 Speaker 3: Actually was Sean's kiss. I have to admit I keep going back because I keep thinking if that kind of kiss can happen to me, it can happen again. 00:19:31 Speaker 4: Nice. Would you date a guy that young, April? Seriously? Would you? Yeah? You know, we all get station. 00:19:37 Speaker 3: If I wanted him, he was serious and he didn't mind my age. 00:19:41 Speaker 4: Yeah, he's like thirty one, thirty two? No, no, I mean he's in his early thirties. 00:19:47 Speaker 3: Any but if I had met I wouldn't love anybody that I'm attracted to. I mean, I don't care if they're eighty five. I don't care if they're twenty five. I don't care if they're thirty five. If it was real, I would definitely get. 00:20:02 Speaker 1: On somebody that excites you and you get excited to see them. 00:20:05 Speaker 4: I get it. 00:20:05 Speaker 3: I'm not going to have any more children. I mean, you know, I'm not going to marry somebody, but I would like to have a long term romance with. 00:20:13 Speaker 4: Somebody that did you get married? 00:20:15 Speaker 3: Yeah? 00:20:17 Speaker 2: Oh, by the way, just to be clear, Sean is twenty eight. Are you still interested. 00:20:25 Speaker 3: I don't think he really is, but I mean, and I realized too why I like Jonathan. He looked his body looked just like Ralph's, and he dressed just like Ralph that night when I gave him that he had khaki pants, a little black shirt, block of course, beautiful shoes. And I kept looking at him like there's something about him that I you know, he's adorable to me, He's really and I not all wait, but I just I was. I felt bad for him. He's gorgeous. I'm thinking of my double. I think he's gorgeous. 00:20:59 Speaker 2: Well, Susan, Susan, we're barking up the go ahead. I was gonna say, we're breaking up the wrong career. Susan, we need to start a dating service just for April. 00:21:09 Speaker 4: You and I were just going to find them for April. 00:21:11 Speaker 3: You didn't watch. 00:21:14 Speaker 1: You watch the rest of the show, and Jonathan didn't feel connected to anyone. 00:21:22 Speaker 4: For me, that tells me that's a problem within right, he. 00:21:26 Speaker 3: Has issues, and maybe that's why I was attracted jump. 00:21:30 Speaker 1: Too, because good guys who have issues, all right, the therapist. 00:21:37 Speaker 4: Comes out all right. 00:21:38 Speaker 2: Well, speaking of that, speaking of that miscounselor, we're going to move into our advice portion of the episode, and we're going to kick things off with our question of the day, April. Of course we want your thoughts on it, so here we got ready. It's no secret, April, that men are more closed off when it comes to talking about their feelings. How do you call about addressing your male partner when it comes to their mental health or emotional touchy subjects. 00:22:11 Speaker 3: I wait until we're relaxed. I wait until they're open. This is not a first date. Usually think it's not not a text. I hate texting. I think everything gets misinterpreted. We've been through that ourselves as clost together, even not whip thing. Do not text personal information, do not ask for it. I would say, tell me about your family, tell me about your mom, because for any of us, if we have issues with mom and dad, we know it's a no brainer that's there. 00:22:48 Speaker 2: Or you know, wait a minute, wait a minute, if he's if they have issues with their mom, then is he a no go for you? 00:22:54 Speaker 3: No? I just want to I want to know it's so fat. He's not going to say he has just used with his mom. He's going to tell me a story. Yeah, and from the story I'm going to extract information that maybe I want to keep and maybe I don't. I never want to make anybody feel as a therapist or with a girlfriend or would you. I really don't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable. 00:23:19 Speaker 1: And it takes time to get to the point where where he is at is anything touchy? You know, emotional wise, you get you got to feel it like and get. 00:23:29 Speaker 3: To know you feel if I'm attracted to them. But April, do I want to be his shrink? 00:23:38 Speaker 2: Hell no, That's exactly where I was. That is exactly where I was going. So you you are a counselor, but you also want to have a relationship with a guy. So how does that work? How do you in your dating separate you know, wanting to therapize him? I just made up that word. 00:23:58 Speaker 3: I try to not do it because men don't like it. Nobody. I try not to even say I'm a therapist. I mean, you know, if you want to scare people, just go I'm a mental health of you. Guys are like, I'm just beautiful blonde. Yeah, I'm just here to have fun. Love you and you like to do it. I'll tell you mine if you you know That's another thing. I mean, we're all at our age, both male and female, playing the game. We know what to say and what not to say. I like to just go and find the real person. So really tell me, you know, maybe ask a question, what really do you love? Or But I wouldn't ask them too quickly, like I didn't ask anyone on Paradise, like what's really broken your heart? No? 00:24:50 Speaker 2: I mean this isn't well you weren't interested really in anyone in Paradise. 00:24:53 Speaker 4: But but I mean, or were you? 00:24:55 Speaker 3: I want to know? 00:24:57 Speaker 4: Oh god, how could you be? 00:25:00 Speaker 2: I won't let me just say I she made out with Jack in the pool and then and then sent him home like a sling shot. 00:25:08 Speaker 3: I know, I know I did that. 00:25:10 Speaker 2: I know not Hey, no judgment. I was so glad that we rekindled our friendship. 00:25:24 Speaker 3: Uh. I really love you guys. 00:25:28 Speaker 2: I mean you and I really hadn't talked well you hadn't talked to Susan either, But I just want to put that out there. But I loved, I love spending time with you on Paradise, but I also. 00:25:38 Speaker 3: With Kathy and you and and and Nancy. I had to make a decision way a year ago which we weren't even talking. I decided I was going to love you no matter what as and I met you so the whole time right right, Yeah, you did I forget I want to. I want to send you an air kiss because we were I was leaving somewhere and you said to me you didn't kiss me goodbye, and that hurt me, and I never went back, so I didn't. I don't forget anything you say, and that really that really hurt me because I really do love you, and I thought, you know, why wouldn't I do that? And I was just hurt and confused. 00:26:25 Speaker 4: It's all learning experience. 00:26:28 Speaker 3: Well, and I'm still confused how Bachelor functions. 00:26:30 Speaker 4: And that's all off the show. 00:26:33 Speaker 1: And sharing with me how you reunited and everything's good to get warmed me. 00:26:38 Speaker 4: It really did. Yeah, I was so that was a highlight for me, April. 00:26:41 Speaker 3: I love being on that show. I love everything about me too. I love I think all three of us will say we love Bachelor. 00:26:48 Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, April. 00:26:51 Speaker 1: Now we'd love to know what advice you have for Golden's that struggled to put themselves out there when it comes to dating. We get so many writings from goldens that aren't comfortable with dating apps or feel nervous about dating in their small towns, what advice would you have for them? 00:27:13 Speaker 3: I want you to think about ladies, your worst heartbreak, and I want you to picture it in your mind, and I want you to think about how you got up and you rose to the occasion. With tears, heartaches, stumbling, falling, you got through it and now you're a stronger woman. You are stronger than you know. You are more powerful than you know. And if your heart beckons you to take a chance to it, but if you don't want to, also, you have the power at any time to say no. I mean, we all keep telling all of us, say yes, say yes, say yes, and some of us have been saying yes our whole life. Yes I'll do this for you, Yes I'll put up with this, Yes I'll forgive you, Yes I'll do this, Yes I'll do this. And I'm like, the first time I said no to Ralph, I was like, you felt powerful. Yeah, he didn't say anything, he did it. I should have been saying no a lot longer. So your power and follow your intuition. Your intuition is never wrong, even if it looks like a failure. It's not. It's a lesson. 00:28:33 Speaker 1: But if they're not comfortable with dating apps, how would do it? 00:28:36 Speaker 4: Well, I'm not true. 00:28:38 Speaker 3: I only do one date to a week and I see that date through. It might last three weeks, it might last it might be talking on the phone. Also, I do a date online on Zoom or on FaceTime. If I'm not comfortable, I ease into it gracefully. I am easing into living New York like a baby thing into water. I'm not going all over the place right now. I'm not. I'm just doing one thing a day for yourself. And I love that value. Know your value if you've had a breakdown, if you've had a heartbreak. I always tell my clients do one thing, write it down, and it might be minuscule to some people, big lead. 00:29:23 Speaker 4: You know what I just have to say. 00:29:26 Speaker 2: And I love that people are a j pril that you say, think about the worst thing and you get up in your strong because I feel that way I've lived other than losing a child, I personally, i think I've suffered the worst loss. 00:29:39 Speaker 4: I think, and I think when you said that, it wore my heart. So thank you for saying that. 00:29:45 Speaker 3: Yeah, and you know and I know you intimately and not that infimantly. Everything Well, I know that you have your triggers, and that's okay. I have intriguers. I and think it'll be a good learning lesson. 00:30:05 Speaker 4: Okay, bro what we We're gonna have to wrap it. But I want to know any questions. 00:30:11 Speaker 1: We talk along, but we've gotten to ask you so many questions. We're going to them all. I want to be invited to your next whatever that was a one time thing we did with Gary's daughters, Christine. 00:30:25 Speaker 3: I want to be invited. 00:30:26 Speaker 1: Okay, there, I'm going to see you soon because I'm right outside of New York. 00:30:31 Speaker 3: Okay, And I want to say this, girls, I love you, I praise you, I appreciate you. You are God's child. Great things happened to you. Nothing can stop it, and so it is. I wish you the best. 00:30:42 Speaker 4: Wait, we're not done yet. 00:30:43 Speaker 2: We're not to know what we're hanging up. Girlfriend, Let your curls settle on your shoulder. Okay, take a breath there. 00:30:52 Speaker 4: I want you want to. 00:30:54 Speaker 2: Know you have questions for us, though, Like I mean, don't you must have something you want to know that you've been dying to ask us one the other that now is going to be on national podcast. 00:31:11 Speaker 3: About do you have any questions the two girls that most people envy. 00:31:20 Speaker 4: April, I would, I would. My answer is, I agree with you. 00:31:25 Speaker 2: Susan and I have had a lot of opportunities for me, and I didn't realize this until as time has gone on, it's become more and more clear to me. Number One, I am so grateful to the Bachelor of franchise. They I didn't realize how lost I was and unhappy I was, and they gave me back. I would say they gave me back my happy I am grateful for every experience, the friendships, not just the women and the guys from the shows, but the producers, the directors. They I don't think they really know all of them how much they've changed my life and brought me back to feeling like a total human being. So while yes, I understand people maybe nvs or whatever, I hope they also realize that I was in a really lost place and this was a gift for me, and and it. 00:32:18 Speaker 3: Was meant to be and you're right where you're supposed to be. 00:32:22 Speaker 1: For me, it was how I how the fans saw me, my apology, apologetically authentically Susan, and it worked and and a lot of real people out there admired who I was. 00:32:40 Speaker 3: More both you two girls are large in big mass we know. But well you're tall too, which looks great on TV. But your essence, your power, your energy is it's the energy that's magnifying you when you walk in and you laugh for always something cute. You are big. You are big, but. 00:33:06 Speaker 4: April, let me say one of the things. 00:33:08 Speaker 2: You're on the right track also, But there are people don't realize that. 00:33:12 Speaker 4: And you're in this too. Girlfriend. 00:33:15 Speaker 2: We as a as a group of golden women, have I think we've given a gift. Yes, I've had a huge gift from Bachelor, but I think we've given a gift back to men and women of a certain age because we've given them the belief that all they have to do is get up to change their lives and make their lives better, that it's in their court. You know, life is not over all those things. You know, there's many chapters to life, and this has make this your best chapter. It sounds like you know something out of Rod McEwen. 00:33:46 Speaker 3: But I just think that you guys are a powerhouse and I'm glad to be part of it, and I'm glad that that Golden Bachelor is alive and well. 00:33:57 Speaker 4: But no, you're part of it. To April. People look at you and think the same thing. We all. 00:34:02 Speaker 2: That's what I'm trying to say. As a group, we have changed people's lives and that for me is extremely gratifying. 00:34:08 Speaker 1: And I hate to do this, ladies, but that does it for this episode of Bachelor Happy Hours Golden Hour. 00:34:15 Speaker 4: We love it. 00:34:15 Speaker 2: Thank you all for joining us.
