<v Speaker 1>But there seems to be something with the em field
<v Speaker 1>that is present also in Bigfoot research, because I've talked
<v Speaker 1>to so many researchers through the years that have experienced
<v Speaker 1>strange battery drain out in the field. It's just like boom,
<v Speaker 1>fresh batteries go dead. Weird equipment malfunctions that don't make
<v Speaker 1>sense very much, a parallel to you know, doing ghost
<v Speaker 1>investigating and research and such that comes up all the time.
<v Speaker 1>I've experienced it myself many times. It was Saint Ignatius.
<v Speaker 1>I was going into there and up on the third level,
<v Speaker 1>which is the nuns Quarters, the old Nuns Quarters, my battery,
<v Speaker 1>which was just fine on a floor below went dead.
<v Speaker 2>Boom.
<v Speaker 3>This is Bigfoot Crossroads. My name is Matt and joining
<v Speaker 3>me is a paranormal expert. He probably wouldn't call himself that,
<v Speaker 3>but I'm calling him that, mister Brent Thomas of the
<v Speaker 3>Paranormal Portal. Q applause, I.
<v Speaker 4>Can do that, actually check it out, thank you?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, all right, as.
<v Speaker 4>I just fled your recording with my applause. No, man,
<v Speaker 4>I'm thrilled to be here.
<v Speaker 1>It's always a pleasure I've always thoroughly enjoyed when we
<v Speaker 1>can connect and have a discussion about all this strangeness.
<v Speaker 3>So thanks for having me on, man of course, Man,
<v Speaker 3>of course, I enjoy it as well. You know, we
<v Speaker 3>talk off air even, yeah, which is a crazy thing.
<v Speaker 3>I don't talk to a lot of people off air anymore.
<v Speaker 4>Even like each other off of here.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's nice, it is, it's good. It's a good connection.
<v Speaker 1>But you know, I think we're both we're both on
<v Speaker 1>the journey of maybe attempting to understand a little bit
<v Speaker 1>about this stuff. So yeah, makes for kindreds trying to
<v Speaker 1>at least, Yeah, exactly. I don't know if well either
<v Speaker 1>of us will ever get there, but it's the journey.
<v Speaker 3>Lots of tell chasing in these type subjects, it seems.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think it's largely because regardless of a person's position,
<v Speaker 1>we really don't know what we're dealing with with any
<v Speaker 1>of this, truly. It's just we can identify phenomena usually,
<v Speaker 1>but that's about the end of it. And to drill
<v Speaker 1>down to any of the what the hell's going on here?
<v Speaker 1>Is you still wildly anybody's guests.
<v Speaker 3>I was thinking about something just the other day, and
<v Speaker 3>I want to get your take on it. You, I
<v Speaker 3>assume are pretty tapped into the paranormal world. You talk
<v Speaker 3>about a lot of paranormal stuff, you know, I know
<v Speaker 3>that you've got your own stuff going on and everything. Sure,
<v Speaker 3>I have been following the Bigfoot world for about twenty
<v Speaker 3>five years now, pretty closely. Started out interested in the
<v Speaker 3>paranormal stuff beforehand, which kind of led me down that path.
<v Speaker 3>But I've kind of come to the conclusion that we're
<v Speaker 3>in a new era of Bigfoot stuff, not evidence wise
<v Speaker 3>and not even that much of research techniques, but just
<v Speaker 3>kind of like who's leading the charge? Have you noticed
<v Speaker 3>the same thing in the paranormal world. Has the paranormal
<v Speaker 3>world sort of evolved with these different forefronts of thought?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, I think so.
<v Speaker 1>I think I think one of the most encouraging shifts
<v Speaker 1>is that, you know, and this is something we've touched
<v Speaker 1>on before, but I really think this is very powerful
<v Speaker 1>is that I think more people are willing to discuss
<v Speaker 1>these ideas than ever before, and there's more people entering
<v Speaker 1>the fray, so to speak, just to look at what's
<v Speaker 1>going on and compare notes, and I think that that's encouraging.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, I think I don't know, and maybe it's
<v Speaker 1>some weird bio rhythm that's going on. But I think
<v Speaker 1>a lot of people are really looking at the world
<v Speaker 1>around them with a fresher set of eyes. I think
<v Speaker 1>what's interesting is that we've moved into maybe a different
<v Speaker 1>era in the worldwide sense. Like people like take, for instance,
<v Speaker 1>my parents' generation. There, they would turn on the news,
<v Speaker 1>and whatever the news said, that was their worldview. After that,
<v Speaker 1>that was what they heard on the news, and so
<v Speaker 1>it was essentially gospel. I think that globally, people are
<v Speaker 1>no longer willing to accept that because no matter what
<v Speaker 1>you're getting or where you're getting it from, I think
<v Speaker 1>everybody is pretty resigned to the fact that it's being
<v Speaker 1>spun and they're given a version of events, and so
<v Speaker 1>people are looking into things and I think that translates
<v Speaker 1>to our realms as well. That you know, there's a
<v Speaker 1>lot more people asking questions now, and there's a lot
<v Speaker 1>more people that have the ability to have these discussions
<v Speaker 1>than ever before. So I think there's a lot more
<v Speaker 1>people entering the discussion than ever before because it's okay,
<v Speaker 1>it's not a social You're not going to become a
<v Speaker 1>social pariah. If you talk about seeing a ghost or
<v Speaker 1>you know, watching a bigfoot across the road in front
<v Speaker 1>of you when you're driving to your uncle's farm or something.
<v Speaker 1>You know, I'm just a just a weird example. But
<v Speaker 1>I think that the dialogues have come so far and
<v Speaker 1>the ideas have come so far and are emerging because
<v Speaker 1>there's more peaceeople involved and it's and it's okay to
<v Speaker 1>be involved now. So I think that's that makes this
<v Speaker 1>a pretty exciting time, I think for you know, people
<v Speaker 1>that are trying to dive into these subjects and maybe
<v Speaker 1>at least get a lot of information or have at
<v Speaker 1>their fingertips more information than ever before.
<v Speaker 4>And that's a good thing, right, I.
<v Speaker 3>Would think so on the surface, it seems like a
<v Speaker 3>good thing. The audiences are definitely larger for the average
<v Speaker 3>person to be able to, you know, put information out
<v Speaker 3>or share an opinion on something. You're now talking to
<v Speaker 3>a limitless amount of people whenever that happens, right, It's
<v Speaker 3>not just your circle or the people that you commonly
<v Speaker 3>share those thoughts with. It's now literally the world. Anybody
<v Speaker 3>can tap into.
<v Speaker 4>It, yep.
<v Speaker 1>And there's avenues that you can tap into and in
<v Speaker 1>even other viewpoints. Now, I would say that probably the
<v Speaker 1>biggest liability to that is that there's some crazy ideas
<v Speaker 1>out there now. And I love that people are thinking
<v Speaker 1>outside of the box. But I think some people aren't
<v Speaker 1>even in the neighborhood of a box, you know, when
<v Speaker 1>they come with some of this stuff, and that that
<v Speaker 1>gets to be almost, I don't know, almost distracting.
<v Speaker 4>From from it all.
<v Speaker 1>And but who can measure that? Who can weigh that?
<v Speaker 1>I mean, we were dealing with subjects that we just
<v Speaker 1>don't understand. We don't know what's going on in any
<v Speaker 1>of these things, really. I mean, we have we have terminology,
<v Speaker 1>we have theories and ideas, but you know, anytime somebody
<v Speaker 1>tells you I know exactly what's going on, it's like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>red flag.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah you know, I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>And it's not I don't, you know, mean to portray
<v Speaker 1>myself as some arbiter of truth, like, well, if I
<v Speaker 1>don't believe it, it.
<v Speaker 4>Can't be true.
<v Speaker 1>But I think that, you know, in these discussions about
<v Speaker 1>this stuff, I still think it's important to be grounded
<v Speaker 1>in some semblance of logic and reasoning, you know, and
<v Speaker 1>that not every idea can be true, but not every
<v Speaker 1>idea can be wrong either, So I don't know, it's
<v Speaker 1>a conundrum of sorts.
<v Speaker 3>I guess well, I was recently talking to a guest
<v Speaker 3>about this, not this exact subject, but we both had
<v Speaker 3>similar backgrounds where we kind of grew up consuming this
<v Speaker 3>type of information on the unexplained, you know, cryptids, paranormal whatever,
<v Speaker 3>through books in the library and at school and everything,
<v Speaker 3>and the occasional TV show that would come on, and
<v Speaker 3>just it was always ingrained in my brain for some reason.
<v Speaker 3>Now that I'm older, it's obviously not the case. But
<v Speaker 3>whenever you're a kid and you like go to the
<v Speaker 3>library and you check out a book on the paranormal,
<v Speaker 3>your thought process is, whoever the author is, they have
<v Speaker 3>extensively researched this and they are an expert on the subject.
<v Speaker 3>I can trust whatever is in this book that they
<v Speaker 3>say sure to be the truth. I mean, that's not
<v Speaker 3>the case, obviously, but at the time that's kind of
<v Speaker 3>how you think. And in the same way goes with television,
<v Speaker 3>you know, growing up consuming television content. If it's on TV,
<v Speaker 3>it must be true, you know, as long as it
<v Speaker 3>wasn't like a movie or something. But if it was
<v Speaker 3>presented in like a documentary form, sure, But now, I
<v Speaker 3>mean imagine going to the library and everybody you know,
<v Speaker 3>has a book sitting on the shelf saying whatever they
<v Speaker 3>want to because that's what the internet is. And everybody
<v Speaker 3>has a YouTube channel. And you've encountered this, We've talked
<v Speaker 3>about it. It seems like, and there's nothing wrong with this,
<v Speaker 3>but it seems like pretty much every guest I have
<v Speaker 3>on my show, not literally, but pretty much all of
<v Speaker 3>them is starting their own podcast or has their own
<v Speaker 3>podcast or a YouTube channel or something.
<v Speaker 4>Sure.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and there's definitely more people involved in that discussion
<v Speaker 1>as well, like the whole podcast thing. And I wish
<v Speaker 1>them all the best, I mean, good luck. I hope,
<v Speaker 1>I hope it takes off for you. I hope it's
<v Speaker 1>a wonderful experience. I mean, obviously, it's kind of like
<v Speaker 1>it's kind of like, you know, the road to Hollywood.
<v Speaker 1>There's thousands of people, millions maybe that have given up
<v Speaker 1>their lives and going to be you know, going to
<v Speaker 1>be a star, and not everybody can be you know,
<v Speaker 1>not everybody can be in the movies because there's only
<v Speaker 1>so many movies, and there's you know, not everybody's going
<v Speaker 1>to have a successful podcast because there's so many podcasts.
<v Speaker 1>But you know, at least there's people trying to have
<v Speaker 1>the discussion and trying to trying to make their mark.
<v Speaker 1>And I do, I do really appreciate what you were
<v Speaker 1>saying about. Well, if you saw it in a book,
<v Speaker 1>that must be the truth, and if you saw it
<v Speaker 1>on TV, that must be the truth. And I think
<v Speaker 1>that's the old the old thinking, because that was always
<v Speaker 1>the thing. Well I heard it on the new use
<v Speaker 1>that has to be the truth. And I'm not saying
<v Speaker 1>don't believe in the news or do believe in the news.
<v Speaker 1>Use your own judgment, but I think that the more
<v Speaker 1>normal reaction now is, well, I heard this, let me
<v Speaker 1>go look into it and see what I can find
<v Speaker 1>out about it. And you know, caused a lot of
<v Speaker 1>people to become at least rudimentary researchers, whether whatever the
<v Speaker 1>subject matter is. But I think people, at least now
<v Speaker 1>the norm is to hear something and then go research it,
<v Speaker 1>like no matter what if it's if it's political, you
<v Speaker 1>hear something, you go research it's if it's scientific, you
<v Speaker 1>hear something, let's go research it.
<v Speaker 4>And that seems to be.
<v Speaker 1>More of the norm now, whereas you know, these frameworks
<v Speaker 1>that used to be the authorities, so to speak, are
<v Speaker 1>now I don't know, they're more like bulletin boards and
<v Speaker 1>then you go check out what you can find out
<v Speaker 1>about the information to see if you buy into it
<v Speaker 1>or not.
<v Speaker 3>I guess the Oprah Winfrey Show, not that I watched
<v Speaker 3>a lot of Oprah growing up, but it was on
<v Speaker 3>the television because the adults were watching a lot of
<v Speaker 3>Oprah growing up. Yeah, And there was this situation. Oprah
<v Speaker 3>would oftentimes have on authors and promote their books, and
<v Speaker 3>there was a guy that she had on there, and
<v Speaker 3>she was just fawning over his book that he had written,
<v Speaker 3>and it was an autobiography about his life as a
<v Speaker 3>meth addict and how he had been addicted to meth
<v Speaker 3>but he had turned his life around and gotten clean,
<v Speaker 3>and you know, was this amazing guy and had written
<v Speaker 3>a book about everything, just you know, pulling back the
<v Speaker 3>curtain and showing his entire life to the world, you know,
<v Speaker 3>in a subject matter that very few people did. And
<v Speaker 3>it came to find out a while later, after selling
<v Speaker 3>millions of copies from being on Oprah, that he had
<v Speaker 3>made up the entire thing and he had never been
<v Speaker 3>a meth at it. Oh no, no, And if I remember, right,
<v Speaker 3>Oprah had him back on the show and fully exposed
<v Speaker 3>him to her entire audience as a fraud. Oh good
<v Speaker 3>for her, that's yeah, so she said it straight and everything.
<v Speaker 3>But nowadays, if the same thing were to happen on
<v Speaker 3>say YouTube, YouTube's not going to call the person out
<v Speaker 3>for Lyne. Nobody's going to look into it or anything.
<v Speaker 3>It's going to be up to the individual if they
<v Speaker 3>finally come clean or not.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, yeah, very true.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, you know, yeah, there's a lot of bad
<v Speaker 1>takes on videos that have been up for you know,
<v Speaker 1>years that should have been pulled down if those standards
<v Speaker 1>were consistent. But yeah, that's certainly not the case.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I mean, do you hold yourself to a certain
<v Speaker 3>standard whenever it comes to pushing your own opinions and
<v Speaker 3>theories on things.
<v Speaker 1>Well, as long as I as long as I make
<v Speaker 1>sure to let people know, look, these are just my ideas.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know anything, And I always do say that
<v Speaker 1>on my platform. It's like, don't listen to me, don't
<v Speaker 1>listen to anybody, you know, look into it for yourself
<v Speaker 1>and come to your own conclusions. But here's what I
<v Speaker 1>think about something, And then I think it's fine, but
<v Speaker 1>if you're coming at it, you know, as a as
<v Speaker 1>an authority with a voice of authority, and everybody should
<v Speaker 1>be following your example or you know what you say,
<v Speaker 1>then yeah, I think I think there is a definite
<v Speaker 1>liability in that for you, and you know, and it's
<v Speaker 1>only as good as as you know, as as the
<v Speaker 1>people listening to it are willing to buy into it.
<v Speaker 1>And if you're exposed, I mean, now you know that's
<v Speaker 1>like say, for instance, a Bigfoot you know, show that
<v Speaker 1>likes to do research and stuff, Well, you know, if
<v Speaker 1>it's found out that they're hoaxing, even if it's not
<v Speaker 1>necessarily true, but somebody put it out there, my god,
<v Speaker 1>the burden of proof is on them to you know,
<v Speaker 1>to try to stay alive, you know, because it it
<v Speaker 1>does get real cutthroat like that in this realm, you know.
<v Speaker 1>And I would never ever knowingly perpetuate a hoax. In fact,
<v Speaker 1>I did once by accident, and it was my own fault,
<v Speaker 1>and it was actually, oddly enough, it was one that
<v Speaker 1>you pointed out to me, and I was so grateful.
<v Speaker 1>But it was an image that I posted, and I
<v Speaker 1>got it from a UFO experiencer and he'd been on
<v Speaker 1>the show and he sent me an image and he said,
<v Speaker 1>this was given to me by Edgar Mitchell himself at
<v Speaker 1>a hotel in Florida during a conference, and he said,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm happy to share it with you.
<v Speaker 4>Here and you can post it. And I'm like, oh,
<v Speaker 4>really wow.
<v Speaker 1>And it was a picture of the first moon landing,
<v Speaker 1>you know, one of those missions in the Apollo missions
<v Speaker 1>where I think it was Neil Armstrong. Armstrong like had
<v Speaker 1>his potter out and there were, you know, in the background,
<v Speaker 1>was this clearly archaeological alien base kind of thing. I
<v Speaker 1>was like, oh my god. And I was like really,
<v Speaker 1>and he said yeah, I came from Edreitgor Mitchell. And
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, well, I think I should put that out there,
<v Speaker 1>and you know, he was all on board with me
<v Speaker 1>putting it out there. And I put it out there,
<v Speaker 1>and it was you that reached out to me via
<v Speaker 1>message and said, hey, that's not a real image. And
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, oh really, And then you you sent me
<v Speaker 1>a link to the real image, you know, that it
<v Speaker 1>was doctored from.
<v Speaker 4>And I was absolutely furious.
<v Speaker 1>I was so mad, but I was mostly mad at
<v Speaker 1>myself because I got took and I put it out
<v Speaker 1>there and immediately when you said that, I, you know,
<v Speaker 1>I pulled it down and broadcast everybody. Look, I just
<v Speaker 1>found out this is fake. I want you to know
<v Speaker 1>it's fake and stuff. But I think you know there
<v Speaker 1>is a there is if you're going to have integrity,
<v Speaker 1>you know, it's got to be even when you're wrong,
<v Speaker 1>you have to have integrity.
<v Speaker 4>About it, you know.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I got caught up in a hoax that's now
<v Speaker 3>known as the Norm Glasser hoax. Uh. There was basically
<v Speaker 3>a paper mache bigfoot head on display in this shop,
<v Speaker 3>and I think Tennessee. I'm trying to think of the
<v Speaker 3>name of it right off the top of my head,
<v Speaker 3>but I can't old age. Sorry, but this guy was
<v Speaker 3>from the paranormal world, a guy named Norma Glasser, not
<v Speaker 3>part of the bigfoot world. And he had given a
<v Speaker 3>photo to a colleague that I trusted and said, you
<v Speaker 3>know that he took this photo of this bigfoot that
<v Speaker 3>had attacked his car whatever came and looked at him
<v Speaker 3>through his car window. And it was a picture of
<v Speaker 3>that paper mache head, which I had seen before. But
<v Speaker 3>I don't want people to get through it. It's not
<v Speaker 3>just a paper mache head. I mean, there's like fake
<v Speaker 3>hair and glass eyes and everything. It's a whole thing.
<v Speaker 3>But he had actually gone to the exhibit where it
<v Speaker 3>was located. The same company that had it on display
<v Speaker 3>in the store window apparently was old So doing ghost
<v Speaker 3>tours at the time, and so he had visited and
<v Speaker 3>he had seen it, and he'd taken a photo close up,
<v Speaker 3>so all you could see was like the eyes and
<v Speaker 3>the upper bridge of the nose, basically oh wow, and
<v Speaker 3>it was behind a window. So he told his story.
<v Speaker 3>Another colleague of mind, Steve Alcorn, went and visited with
<v Speaker 3>him and reported the interview, and he told this whole,
<v Speaker 3>long drawn out story with all these details and everything,
<v Speaker 3>and it sounded very believable, right, And so, you know,
<v Speaker 3>kind of against our better judgment, we released the photo,
<v Speaker 3>you know, and said, hey, we're looking into this. We
<v Speaker 3>didn't fully co sign on it, but we put it
<v Speaker 3>out right, and it wasn't long before somebody knew exactly
<v Speaker 3>what it was and pointed it out to us, and
<v Speaker 3>you know, we exposed the whole thing. We exposed Norm
<v Speaker 3>Glasser called out and everything.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>And but so he had years of paranormal stuff that
<v Speaker 3>he had documented, you know, things on camera and everything.
<v Speaker 3>So it obviously called into question like everything that he
<v Speaker 3>had been doing ever.
<v Speaker 1>And it should, right because if someone's going to screw
<v Speaker 1>you once, they'll screw you again if you let them,
<v Speaker 1>you know.
<v Speaker 3>There was another instance where there was someone on my
<v Speaker 3>podcast Okay, and they had shared some audio recordings that
<v Speaker 3>they had taken in the field. Some of them were
<v Speaker 3>pretty impressive, and later on it turned out that those
<v Speaker 3>audio recordings weren't fabricated, but they belonged to somebody else.
<v Speaker 3>Somebody else had recorded them, oh no, and had posted
<v Speaker 3>them on YouTube, and the files were put side by
<v Speaker 3>side and compared, you know, spectrum analysis matched perfectly and everything.
<v Speaker 3>And then it turned out that this same person, who
<v Speaker 3>was speaking at conferences at the time, had also at
<v Speaker 3>some get together played a clip of the Sierra Sounds
<v Speaker 3>and claimed them as their own audio.
<v Speaker 4>Oh no.
<v Speaker 3>And I don't know if they got called out at
<v Speaker 3>that gathering or not. Surely somebody would have recognized them. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>but this person, it was exposed not by me, but
<v Speaker 3>by some anonymous individuals, and basically they got away with it.
<v Speaker 3>People did not care. They said that, oh well, it
<v Speaker 3>was an honest mistake. They must have gotten those files
<v Speaker 3>mixed in with their own files of audio that they
<v Speaker 3>really did record. I took the time to explain how
<v Speaker 3>because of the files that were sent to me directly
<v Speaker 3>whenever they did the show, how that wasn't possible because
<v Speaker 3>they were all numbered the same and everything. I mean,
<v Speaker 3>but people didn't care. They chose the personality over the evidence. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>that's so I've kind of quit doing that. But how
<v Speaker 3>do you feel about that? Do you think people should
<v Speaker 3>be actively, you know, exposing hoaxes whenever they run across them,
<v Speaker 3>or should they just leave them alone?
<v Speaker 1>No? I think absolutely they shouldn't, and I try to
<v Speaker 1>as well, Like, for instance.
<v Speaker 4>This is this is a recent one.
<v Speaker 1>You know, I'm calling this stuff out all the time
<v Speaker 1>whenever I become aware of it. Whenever I can, I
<v Speaker 1>feel like I can substantially reinforce the fact that it's
<v Speaker 1>not real. This one guy and I don't usually drop names,
<v Speaker 1>but this guy's such a such a clown that I've
<v Speaker 1>got to. He's on Facebook and he's called the Bigfoot expert.
<v Speaker 1>First of all, that's the biggest red flag. It's like,
<v Speaker 1>who's an expert?
<v Speaker 4>You know?
<v Speaker 1>How do you get to be a bigfoot expert?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, those credentials.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I don't know, nic sure we went to school,
<v Speaker 1>but yeah. So he was called Bigfoot Expert and he
<v Speaker 1>put out this this image of of a of a
<v Speaker 1>you know, a hand, and he said and his caption
<v Speaker 1>was from my top secret archives. And I'm saying it
<v Speaker 1>like this because he's also got reels on his channel
<v Speaker 1>where he talks and it's very much.
<v Speaker 3>Like that the Batman guy. Yeah, that guy. He's got
<v Speaker 3>like the Batman voice.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, he's got the Batman voice, and he's very real
<v Speaker 1>bro and sis and he uses all those those things.
<v Speaker 1>But he's like, from the top secret archives.
<v Speaker 4>This ain't AI. This is a real photograph. Well that
<v Speaker 4>part was true. It was a real photograph.
<v Speaker 1>However, it wasn't of a big foothand like everyone believed
<v Speaker 1>in his message thread, and that was the other part.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, my god, these people are just signing
<v Speaker 1>right onto this and and willing to willing to devour
<v Speaker 1>it like.
<v Speaker 4>This is gospel.
<v Speaker 1>But I did literally like a one minute image search
<v Speaker 1>online and I found the identical image, except it wasn't
<v Speaker 1>a big foot hand. It was a close up of
<v Speaker 1>a chimpanzee hand. And so I took the url and
<v Speaker 1>in the message the message thread, I said, Hey, I'm
<v Speaker 1>just gonna leave this here, take care, and I posted
<v Speaker 1>the link in there and and yeah.
<v Speaker 4>Then then it was more of.
<v Speaker 1>A feeding frenzy on this guy just being being a clone.
<v Speaker 1>But he was trying to sell it like he had
<v Speaker 1>this amazing archive, hidden archive, secret archive of actual photos.
<v Speaker 1>And the sad part was is that people were not
<v Speaker 1>only willing to buy into that this was a big
<v Speaker 1>foothand but they're like, oh my god, that's such a
<v Speaker 1>clear picture. Can I see the rest of the pictures
<v Speaker 1>showing the rest of the body. This is amazing. I
<v Speaker 1>was like, wow, you know, I mean, just just a
<v Speaker 1>little bit of critical thinking could have you know, had
<v Speaker 1>them look into it and try to vet it. And
<v Speaker 1>again that's you know, but yeah, absolutely, I think this
<v Speaker 1>needs to be exposed every time because here's the thing.
<v Speaker 1>It's it's not like everybody has has good intentions or
<v Speaker 1>or is you know, has this altruistic uh you know
<v Speaker 1>framework they're working from. Also, there's plenty of people out
<v Speaker 1>there that are just wanting to be known for something,
<v Speaker 1>and God bless them, but it's you know, unfortunately, it
<v Speaker 1>takes advantage of a lot of people's trust. But many
<v Speaker 1>of us are looking for answers and we're looking for understanding.
<v Speaker 1>A lot of people that are looking into Bigfoot have
<v Speaker 1>had experiences and have been terrorized and terrified, and they're
<v Speaker 1>trying to just make this make sense somehow, and they're
<v Speaker 1>looking for looking for answers others or they just want
<v Speaker 1>to you know, find out the truth. They want to
<v Speaker 1>show the truth to the rest of the world. But
<v Speaker 1>these idiots out there that are putting out hoaxes and stuff,
<v Speaker 1>they're just you know, And the sad part is is
<v Speaker 1>it makes it's kind of guilty by association because one
<v Speaker 1>person that's a skeptic sees this guy post a chimpanzee hand,
<v Speaker 1>trying to sell it off as a big Foot hand.
<v Speaker 1>Now in their idea and the way that they're gonna
<v Speaker 1>pitch it is yeah, those Bigfoot idiots, Yeah I saw this.
<v Speaker 1>They're trying to, you know, tell us as Bigfoot is real,
<v Speaker 1>and then they're posting chimpanzee hands. It's like everybody else
<v Speaker 1>is guilty by association. So that guy posted a chimpanzee hand,
<v Speaker 1>and to me, that was just in your face disregard
<v Speaker 1>for everyone else except himself. I mean, it was just
<v Speaker 1>it's just a really selfish thing to do. So I
<v Speaker 1>think that those of us involved in this are really
<v Speaker 1>looking for answers, and people like this are only pulling
<v Speaker 1>us further away from whatever truth is out there and
<v Speaker 1>whatever truth we could find. So yeah, as far as
<v Speaker 1>I'm concerned, every time you become aware of somebody hoaxing,
<v Speaker 1>and not just as a I don't like this guy
<v Speaker 1>and I want to wreck his reputation.
<v Speaker 4>But genuinely, Jen, genuinely you.
<v Speaker 1>Feel like this person is hoaxing and should be exposed,
<v Speaker 1>you should expose it. You should expose it loud and publicly,
<v Speaker 1>and make sure as many people as you can help
<v Speaker 1>find the truth find the truth about that person, because
<v Speaker 1>people like that are not helping us in this desire
<v Speaker 1>to find answers, to understand the phenomena and to move
<v Speaker 1>the ball forward. They are only pulling it in a
<v Speaker 1>very selfish direction. So that's that's my soapbox.
<v Speaker 3>At the very least, ask questions, right, I mean, nobody
<v Speaker 3>telling the truth should have a problem with people asking questions.
<v Speaker 4>Very true.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, And anybody that's you know what, would challenge you
<v Speaker 1>right off the bat too.
<v Speaker 4>Well, what you think you think you know more than me.
<v Speaker 1>It's like that's got to be a red flag, right
<v Speaker 1>if somebody it's like a very narcissistic response to you know,
<v Speaker 1>a genuine inquiry. So yeah, I think that's great, great point.
<v Speaker 1>Just ask the questions and if what kind of feedback
<v Speaker 1>you get will tell you a lot about the person
<v Speaker 1>making the claim.
<v Speaker 3>And if you see any sort of image on the Internet,
<v Speaker 3>if somebody's posting it somewhere, right click search search Google.
<v Speaker 3>You know that so many things can be solved just
<v Speaker 3>by doing that one little thing, just right off the bat.
<v Speaker 3>I have exposed a lot of hoaxes using it myself
<v Speaker 3>within five minutes. I mean, looking at an image right
<v Speaker 3>click on it. Oh well that's where it came from.
<v Speaker 4>Right yeah.
<v Speaker 1>And it's so so easy to do. It's not like
<v Speaker 1>you have to do a big forensic deep dive. And
<v Speaker 1>even then, if you can't find any correlator correlating images
<v Speaker 1>doesn't mean it's still that doesn't that doesn't automatically qualify
<v Speaker 1>it as legitimate. I think you just got to look
<v Speaker 1>at everything with a sense of skepticism because generally speaking,
<v Speaker 1>there I do believe there's plenty of incredible uh you know,
<v Speaker 1>posts and information and videos out there. It's just they're
<v Speaker 1>so obscured by all this trash that, you know, unfortunately,
<v Speaker 1>it's leaving leaving most of us out there looking at
<v Speaker 1>these things with a very jaded sense of whatever we see.
<v Speaker 1>You know, it starts for me, everything I see starts
<v Speaker 1>with skepticism until at least I can can rudimentally, rudimentarily
<v Speaker 1>rule out, you know, hoaxing or scamming or whatever. And
<v Speaker 1>and even then you gotta still have a guarded sense
<v Speaker 1>about it.
<v Speaker 4>You know.
<v Speaker 3>There was a person that left a comment on my
<v Speaker 3>YouTube channel recently asking if I would do an episode
<v Speaker 3>about pieces of evidence that I think are good that
<v Speaker 3>didn't get a fair shake or God overlooked. And I'm
<v Speaker 3>really thinking about doing that episode.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, why not?
<v Speaker 1>You know, I've gone on record and said there's a
<v Speaker 1>there's a few videos out there that I think might
<v Speaker 1>be the real thing, and I, again I always offer
<v Speaker 1>the caveat, like, look, I can't know, I can't talk
<v Speaker 1>to these people that can't go to where they're recorded.
<v Speaker 2>It.
<v Speaker 1>There's but just on face value, and it would be
<v Speaker 1>like the Patterson Gimmlin film, the Freeman footage I think
<v Speaker 1>is really good. The jumping YETI out of Russia, the
<v Speaker 1>leaping YETI or whatever out of Russia, I think is
<v Speaker 1>a really good video and potentially real. And there's more.
<v Speaker 1>There are some really potentially great examples of what could
<v Speaker 1>be legitimate captures, but unfortunately, again you got to dive
<v Speaker 1>through about, you know, fifty feet of garbage to find those.
<v Speaker 1>But when you find them, yeah, I think it's not
<v Speaker 1>that you can't trust anything out there, but you should
<v Speaker 1>just look at everything with guarded skepticism.
<v Speaker 3>Well that's something that a lot of you know, skeptics
<v Speaker 3>bring to the table in regards to like the Parison
<v Speaker 3>film especially. They're like, well, why hasn't anybody else gotten
<v Speaker 3>any pictures or video? Now everybody's carrying a camera around
<v Speaker 3>with them everywhere they go. There should be more. There
<v Speaker 3>is more. The number has gone up. Yeah, it's just
<v Speaker 3>so has all the crap in, all the fakes, and
<v Speaker 3>it all gets buried.
<v Speaker 1>Right, Yeah, Yeah, it's it's out there, but you gotta
<v Speaker 1>you gotta dig and dig and dig and to even
<v Speaker 1>find it. And and honestly, I think that the scammy
<v Speaker 1>stuff gets all the gets all the press, you know,
<v Speaker 1>it gets all of the exposure because these people that
<v Speaker 1>are perpetuating scams are trying to get people to see
<v Speaker 1>it and believe what they're doing, whereas the real stuff
<v Speaker 1>is just you know, every day guys going or women
<v Speaker 1>ladies or men going, Hey, I saw this, and it's.
<v Speaker 4>It's really tripping me out. What do you think I
<v Speaker 4>got here?
<v Speaker 1>They're not They're not out there doing the you know,
<v Speaker 1>the five hundred layers of marketing to try to get
<v Speaker 1>people to see their stuff. They're just putting it out
<v Speaker 1>there looking for some answers.
<v Speaker 3>Right, speaking of looking for answers, m hmm, that brings
<v Speaker 3>us to today's topic. So I wanted to get your
<v Speaker 3>viewpoint on something that I noticed whenever I started going
<v Speaker 3>out and investigating bigfoot stuff. Okay, with my background, with
<v Speaker 3>the interest in the paranormal, I noticed that there were
<v Speaker 3>situations where people thought their homesteads basically were haunted. They
<v Speaker 3>were experiencing paranormal activity on their property, but not necessarily indoors.
<v Speaker 3>And I noticed that a lot of it sounded like
<v Speaker 3>Bigfoot activity. And the further I've gone down that rabbit hole,
<v Speaker 3>the more similarities I seem to run across. And then
<v Speaker 3>it came to the point where my good friend Bob
<v Speaker 3>dem Is a Bigfoot Club podcast, pointed out that when
<v Speaker 3>whenever we discuss infrasound in the Bigfoot world, the physical
<v Speaker 3>effects that are reportedly caused by infrasound, which is just
<v Speaker 3>a theory. Nobody knows if Bigfoot's really making them for
<v Speaker 3>sound or not. But these effects that a lot of
<v Speaker 3>people report experiencing are very similar to the effects that
<v Speaker 3>people get from fluctuations in em F, which is something
<v Speaker 3>that paranormal researchers look for to kind of explain away hauntings.
<v Speaker 3>So I actually compiled a list and there's a lot
<v Speaker 3>of overlaps whenever it comes to E MF and infrasound
<v Speaker 3>effects on the human body.
<v Speaker 1>Well, you know, I think you're absolutely right, and it
<v Speaker 1>is fascinating that the EMF em fields can create those
<v Speaker 1>those same scenarios. And honestly, before right now, I'd never
<v Speaker 1>really made that correlation to the infrasound, But now that
<v Speaker 1>you've mentioned it's like, well, yeah, it does. People feel
<v Speaker 1>this incredible sense of fear and discomfort and confusion and nausea,
<v Speaker 1>and certainly there is there's got to be something and
<v Speaker 1>I don't understand it at all, but there seems to
<v Speaker 1>be something with the EM field that is present also
<v Speaker 1>in bigfoot research, because I've talked to so many researchers
<v Speaker 1>through the years that have experienced strange battery drain out
<v Speaker 1>in the field. It's just like boom, fresh batteries go dad.
<v Speaker 1>Weird equipment malfunctions that don't make sense is real common
<v Speaker 1>as well, So you're right. I mean, maybe what people
<v Speaker 1>are experiencing isn't really so much directly the infrasound as
<v Speaker 1>it is some sort of electromagnetic disturbance that and I
<v Speaker 1>don't know that big foot is the cause of it,
<v Speaker 1>but perhaps it's it's something about the environment that they choose.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe they choose areas that have you know, because EM
<v Speaker 1>is a very natural VM fields are very naturally a
<v Speaker 1>part of our world, and if you consider things like
<v Speaker 1>lay lines and all of that, perhaps that also manifests
<v Speaker 1>in you know, the EM spectrum or causes variations and
<v Speaker 1>even spikes. And yeah, perhaps people are encountering EM fields
<v Speaker 1>in bigfoot research, but they're calling it in for sound
<v Speaker 1>because that's again a very physical plausible idea, but it
<v Speaker 1>doesn't cover all the bases. And but the other things
<v Speaker 1>like battery drain equipment malfunction.
<v Speaker 4>You're right, is very very much a parallel.
<v Speaker 1>To you know, doing ghost investigating and research and such
<v Speaker 1>that comes up all the time. I've experienced it myself
<v Speaker 1>many times. It was saying ignatious. I was going going
<v Speaker 1>into there and up on the third level, which is
<v Speaker 1>the nuns Quarters, the old Nuns Quarters, my battery which
<v Speaker 1>was just fine on a floor below, went dead boom.
<v Speaker 1>It was just done on my camera. I'm like, oh
<v Speaker 1>my god, this is crazy. So I had to swap
<v Speaker 1>out my battery pack and then that one went pretty
<v Speaker 1>quick as well.
<v Speaker 4>And yeah, I mean, maybe.
<v Speaker 1>There is some em fluctuations that are also present. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>they are just again regional. Maybe something about the Bigfoot
<v Speaker 1>enjoys those kind of fields. I don't know, but they
<v Speaker 1>don't seem to agree with us.
<v Speaker 3>Well, not very many Bigfoot researchers take EMF detectures with
<v Speaker 3>them out in the field. True, you knows, more.
<v Speaker 1>And more of them are though. I've been hearing more
<v Speaker 1>and more people are utilizing more ghostly investigative equipment on
<v Speaker 1>these investigations and coming up with some real on the
<v Speaker 1>homous results.
<v Speaker 3>I was recently going back and forth in email with
<v Speaker 3>somebody about infrasound who had actually had a background in
<v Speaker 3>the military and knew some things, you know, and had
<v Speaker 3>experimented or you know, used equipment that detects infrasound. So
<v Speaker 3>they were asking about the usage of that in the
<v Speaker 3>field of bigfoot, and I explained to him that, like
<v Speaker 3>most of that equipment isn't readily available to bigfooters. You know,
<v Speaker 3>it's very expensive and commonly the consumer grade electronics, microphones,
<v Speaker 3>recorders and all that are designed for human hearing in
<v Speaker 3>human use, so they don't even have the ability to
<v Speaker 3>record infrasound. And you wouldn't be able to see it
<v Speaker 3>on any of the spectrum analyzers anyway, because they go
<v Speaker 3>below the threshold. YadA YadA. But as far as we know,
<v Speaker 3>it's this is my hang up. People are experiencing something.
<v Speaker 3>I've experienced something personally, and the symptoms do line up
<v Speaker 3>with infrasound in a lot of situations, But nobody has
<v Speaker 3>observed a bigfoot producing the infrasound. We just know that
<v Speaker 3>there are animals in the world that use infrasound, so
<v Speaker 3>maybe bigfoot can too. You know, if it's a large mammal,
<v Speaker 3>it should be able to at least possibly have the capability,
<v Speaker 3>But a lot of times it just seems like if
<v Speaker 3>I'm going to an area of woods because I think
<v Speaker 3>Bigfoot's there, and I hear voices in the woods while
<v Speaker 3>I'm there, I'm going to try to record it, but
<v Speaker 3>at most I'm going to come home and say, hey,
<v Speaker 3>I heard Bigfoot talking. You know, I heard vocalizations while
<v Speaker 3>I was in the woods.
<v Speaker 4>Sure.
<v Speaker 3>If I'm a ghost hunter and I go to the
<v Speaker 3>same set of woods because it's known to be haunted,
<v Speaker 3>and I hear voices in the woods, Hey I heard
<v Speaker 3>disembodied voices from spirits.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, yeah, very true, very true.
<v Speaker 1>And you know, we don't know anything about either of
<v Speaker 1>them really, you know, whether it's one or the other
<v Speaker 1>or both. I don't think that they're the same thing,
<v Speaker 1>but I suspect that maybe they're. And I don't know
<v Speaker 1>how to quantify this and how to make this make sense,
<v Speaker 1>but I almost wonder if they're not utilizing the same
<v Speaker 1>kind of mechanics between them, because one of the potential
<v Speaker 1>possibilities of what we understand to be ghosts or spirits.
<v Speaker 1>Of course, the obvious is the formerly living person, but
<v Speaker 1>there's plenty of other things that were never people. And
<v Speaker 1>we're never human that are believed to be what we
<v Speaker 1>experience as spiritual entities as well. Shadow people are one.
<v Speaker 1>They're supposed to be allegedly something of their own that's humanoid,
<v Speaker 1>but they're not people. There's certainly the elementals, there's the
<v Speaker 1>demonic or the you know, other kind of dark entities
<v Speaker 1>in that regard. There's any number of things, but that
<v Speaker 1>doesn't preclude them being interdimensional. And perhaps they just don't
<v Speaker 1>have a form that we would be able to observe physically,
<v Speaker 1>but they can become either a part of our realm
<v Speaker 1>or not. And you're right, I mean when you're when
<v Speaker 1>you're out there looking for Bigfoot, and that is kind
<v Speaker 1>of important to remember because if I'm out looking for Bigfoot,
<v Speaker 1>no matter what happens, I gotta you know, you're gonna
<v Speaker 1>have a confirmation bias that whatever you encounter is going
<v Speaker 1>to be Bigfoot related. But it didn't necessarily unless you
<v Speaker 1>see the Bigfoot actually doing something right.
<v Speaker 3>So well, yeah, but that makes the trip successful, Yeah it.
<v Speaker 1>Does, but you know it also it could be you
<v Speaker 1>just happen to find a real haunted part of the forest.
<v Speaker 1>You know, haunted forests are as old as time. Too,
<v Speaker 1>story of certain woodlands, and even in the first nations,
<v Speaker 1>they had areas that they knew were evil, and it
<v Speaker 1>didn't always have to do with with Bigfoot or some
<v Speaker 1>version of that. It was usually more spiritual that there
<v Speaker 1>were some places that they just shouldn't go because bad
<v Speaker 1>things were there and could put their very you know,
<v Speaker 1>their very existence in danger. So I think you're right.
<v Speaker 1>And it's a tough one to try to say whether
<v Speaker 1>it's one or the other, but you know, whatever you're
<v Speaker 1>looking at seems to be the obvious culprit according to
<v Speaker 1>the researchers. And I'm not putting anybody down. I think that,
<v Speaker 1>you know, if I go into a if I go
<v Speaker 1>into a what's regarded as a haunted location and have
<v Speaker 1>what I think is spiritual activity, it could also be
<v Speaker 1>extraterrestrial activity. Because there's an incredible bleed through between all
<v Speaker 1>of these phenomena and the kind of experiences people have
<v Speaker 1>encountering them. You know, like with Bigfoot people people do
<v Speaker 1>claim that they melt into nothing right in front of
<v Speaker 1>their eyes. There are the trackways that disappear in the
<v Speaker 1>middle of a field, and where do they go, Like
<v Speaker 1>there's tracks all the way up to the middle of
<v Speaker 1>a field and then there's none in snow or whatever.
<v Speaker 1>That doesn't make sense, right, But they went somewhere. And
<v Speaker 1>I'm not suggesting everybody should embrace that possibility, but certainly
<v Speaker 1>spirits manifest and melt away, as do extraterrestrials. So are
<v Speaker 1>we always sure what we're dealing with? No, but maybe
<v Speaker 1>they all exploit or utilize similar mechanics in order to
<v Speaker 1>do what they do. And I realize that's a really
<v Speaker 1>ambiguous answer, but I just don't think we know enough
<v Speaker 1>to draw any conclusions.
<v Speaker 3>Well, it pushes that bigfoot needle further over to the supernatural.
<v Speaker 4>Area, Yeah, it does.
<v Speaker 1>And I realize that that's an uncomfortable way, actually an
<v Speaker 1>uncomfortable place for me personally. And it's not because I
<v Speaker 1>don't think that it's possible. It's just I don't know
<v Speaker 1>what to do with that. I don't know because I
<v Speaker 1>do have a logical mind, I really do. I have
<v Speaker 1>an open mind, but it's also very logical, and it's
<v Speaker 1>rooted in understanding or trying to understand. And if you
<v Speaker 1>tell me that a ghost, which is an exclusively energetic
<v Speaker 1>presence can operate and disaperate, that makes sense to me
<v Speaker 1>because it's all about frequency and manifesting. It's energy to
<v Speaker 1>the point that you can visually see.
<v Speaker 4>It or not.
<v Speaker 1>But when you're seeing there's a nine to ten foot tall,
<v Speaker 1>sixteen hundred pound primate type thing out in the forest
<v Speaker 1>that can melt away like a ghost, I don't know
<v Speaker 1>how to do that mentally, you know, That's where I
<v Speaker 1>get stuck. So do I do have my own paradigm
<v Speaker 1>that I struggle with with this stuff. But I do
<v Speaker 1>also acknowledge that throughout the course of doing my shows,
<v Speaker 1>the one thing that I can be sure of is
<v Speaker 1>that it seems like anything's possible.
<v Speaker 2>Man.
<v Speaker 3>Well, whenever it comes to ghosts again, it's that whole
<v Speaker 3>thing we talked about earlier with you know, if it's
<v Speaker 3>in a book, it's true. Spirits were always presented in
<v Speaker 3>a way of energy, but you're really powerful manifestations. It's
<v Speaker 3>a person. Sometimes it's somebody that the person recognizes. Most
<v Speaker 3>of the times it's not. But you can look at
<v Speaker 3>it and say it's a person. Sure, it's floating and
<v Speaker 3>semi transparent, but it's wearing clothes usually and it's a human.
<v Speaker 3>And that's where the concept of oh, well, it's the
<v Speaker 3>spirit of the decease came from you know, we see them, Sure,
<v Speaker 3>that's what they are, aliens. I've never personally seen an alien,
<v Speaker 3>but alien witnesses who claim to have seen aliens. They
<v Speaker 3>look like nothing on this planet. They don't resemble anything
<v Speaker 3>now there. Of course, there are some people that would
<v Speaker 3>argue that and say, well, you have the you know,
<v Speaker 3>the tall Nordics, and then you've got the mantis. You know,
<v Speaker 3>they look like things from this planet, I guess. But primarily,
<v Speaker 3>whenever I think of aliens, I think of grays and
<v Speaker 3>that's it. Bigfoot. Bigfoot looks like all the other primates
<v Speaker 3>on this planet. It has all the right physical characteristics
<v Speaker 3>of mammals and primates and looks like it fits right
<v Speaker 3>in there with everything else on this planet. So that's
<v Speaker 3>where my disconnect has always been. It looks like it fits.
<v Speaker 3>It doesn't look like something from another dimension. In my mind,
<v Speaker 3>my understanding of, you know, a different dimension. It wouldn't
<v Speaker 3>even exist physically the same way that things exist physically here,
<v Speaker 3>So it's not something that we'd even be able to
<v Speaker 3>see like. It just doesn't even make any sense. Why
<v Speaker 3>would it have hair, Why would it have two eyes
<v Speaker 3>and a nose and a mouth and teeth and five
<v Speaker 3>fingers and five toes. I just can't wrap my head
<v Speaker 3>around how does this one thing have all these abilities,
<v Speaker 3>not just one ability, but multiple abilities that nothing else
<v Speaker 3>on this planet has ever been observed doing. Like a
<v Speaker 3>dog doesn't just vanish. A dog doesn't mind speak. If
<v Speaker 3>it does, I haven't experienced it, or no, anybody that
<v Speaker 3>openly has their eyes don't glow and produce their own light.
<v Speaker 3>But a lot of people claim that they've experienced numerous
<v Speaker 3>things like that in regards to Bigfoot, right, I.
<v Speaker 1>Think, honestly, I think one of the trappings that throws
<v Speaker 1>people off with that is is and this is just
<v Speaker 1>more more the terminology. But I think where a lot
<v Speaker 1>of people say interdimensional or extra dimensional entities, they're thinking
<v Speaker 1>in terms of one dimension, which is just length or
<v Speaker 1>width or whatever, and then there's the length and width
<v Speaker 1>for two dimensions, and then length width and depth or height.
<v Speaker 4>Or whatever you know.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, where you're adding levels of complexity based on
<v Speaker 1>dimensional existence. But I think what a lot of people
<v Speaker 1>are really referring to is more of a multiverse kind
<v Speaker 1>of approach like that, maybe there's other variations of.
<v Speaker 4>Our universe existing.
<v Speaker 1>Just literally out of just out of phase to us,
<v Speaker 1>but they're still maybe occupying a similar space. But there's
<v Speaker 1>different mechanics in.
<v Speaker 4>These other.
<v Speaker 1>Multiverse so possibilities of life, and I think that you know,
<v Speaker 1>everybody uses you know, it's a multi dimensional meaning that,
<v Speaker 1>but I think their meaning that it could just be
<v Speaker 1>coming from another another version of Earth, but not necessarily
<v Speaker 1>the one that we understand. And perhaps there are different
<v Speaker 1>mechanics there, but I don't think that they're one and
<v Speaker 1>the same, And I think it's it's it's misrepresenting it
<v Speaker 1>the same multidimensional or an extra dimensional creature, because that
<v Speaker 1>would imply fourth fifth, you know, which have increasing levels
<v Speaker 1>of complexity and dynamic as they go up, whereas most
<v Speaker 1>people are just talking about look at something that doesn't
<v Speaker 1>exist here, but maybe can can be here if the
<v Speaker 1>conditions are right, or if there's some other mechanic working
<v Speaker 1>to give them access. You know, we talk about spirit
<v Speaker 1>portals all the time and potential portals where you know,
<v Speaker 1>time space slips occur and potential portal type manifestations that
<v Speaker 1>may allow access from these other multiversal realities, and these
<v Speaker 1>maybe are part of that. And I'm not suggesting that's
<v Speaker 1>the case. But I just think that's that's where the
<v Speaker 1>logic kind of trips is because it's speaking in terms
<v Speaker 1>of dimensions, which dimensions are not the same as the multiverse.
<v Speaker 4>Does that make any.
<v Speaker 3>Well, that's part of my hang up is a lot
<v Speaker 3>of explanations given are, in my opinion, given incorrectly. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>I would, and we can use portals as an example.
<v Speaker 3>I understand it's just a lack of verbiage on most
<v Speaker 3>people's part, but you know, portals is something that has
<v Speaker 3>always been around in the paranormal and has also entered
<v Speaker 3>the cryptid world. And whenever somebody says portal, we imagine
<v Speaker 3>you know that typically a glowing doorway of sorts opens
<v Speaker 3>up and something steps through from another world. That's that's
<v Speaker 3>not how it works. That that's not a thing like
<v Speaker 3>if something were to travel through a wormhole or come
<v Speaker 3>from another place. There's no way to control that or
<v Speaker 3>where it goes or how long it takes or anything.
<v Speaker 3>So whenever people start applying you know, most recently quantum
<v Speaker 3>physics and mechanics and to explain air normal bigfoot stuff,
<v Speaker 3>they need to understand how that stuff works and how
<v Speaker 3>those theories work before they start applying that to a subject.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean, if there's if you're ever wanting one
<v Speaker 1>of the things that is suggested that on whatever investigating
<v Speaker 1>you should do. If you're if you're considering portals of
<v Speaker 1>any measure to be part of the equation, whether it's spirits, ghosts,
<v Speaker 1>or cryptoc did you should be bringing some form of
<v Speaker 1>Geiger counter along that can measure different forms of radiation, because,
<v Speaker 1>as far as I understand in.
<v Speaker 4>Theory, if a portal were actually.
<v Speaker 1>To open, such as a wormhole or any other gateway
<v Speaker 1>sort of thing, You're right, it wouldn't be visual, but
<v Speaker 1>it would be you may be able to measure a
<v Speaker 1>gamma burst, which should happen if there was some form
<v Speaker 1>of gateway like that opening between realities, so to speak,
<v Speaker 1>quote unquote, And you know, but yeah, I mean most
<v Speaker 1>times when I've covered portals, like I've covered so many
<v Speaker 1>stories through the years, and again, I can't tell you
<v Speaker 1>these stories are real. They're represented as real, and that's
<v Speaker 1>the way I represent them on my shows and in
<v Speaker 1>my discussions. I don't know, I have experienced a space
<v Speaker 1>slip before where I was driving in a blizzard and
<v Speaker 1>suddenly I was a mile past a real twisty part
<v Speaker 1>that I was really worried about hitting. I had my
<v Speaker 1>oldest son and I in the car, and I was
<v Speaker 1>really worried about it because I could literally five feet
<v Speaker 1>in front of my car and that was it. And
<v Speaker 1>we were about to snake down through this twisty path
<v Speaker 1>through a valley and I was like, my god, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if I'll be able to see the road,
<v Speaker 1>but if we stop, we're gonna get stuck, and we're
<v Speaker 1>going to be stuck out here for a long time.
<v Speaker 1>So I was just like, I just got to go
<v Speaker 1>slow and get home. And the next thing I knew,
<v Speaker 1>we were a mile past that and I'd never turned
<v Speaker 1>my car wheel where I would have had to turn,
<v Speaker 1>you know, significantly in both directions, and and my eldest
<v Speaker 1>son said it to me first. He's like, Dad, what
<v Speaker 1>just happened? And I said, I don't know. But somehow
<v Speaker 1>we traversed about a mile of distance in a heartbeat,
<v Speaker 1>and I didn't feel anything. I didn't notice anything other
<v Speaker 1>than suddenly I saw a sign for a town that
<v Speaker 1>I shouldn't have seen for quite some time, coming right
<v Speaker 1>up like we're entering it, and it blew me away.
<v Speaker 1>I've covered many stories of people walking through the woods
<v Speaker 1>suddenly on a path that they know really well, and
<v Speaker 1>suddenly they look around and they're in totally unfamiliar area,
<v Speaker 1>Like it can be day versus night, or jungle versus forest,
<v Speaker 1>or you know, planes versus you know, mountaintop or something,
<v Speaker 1>and it's this this traversal that happened where they didn't know.
<v Speaker 1>And many times people are like, oh my god. So
<v Speaker 1>they start stepping backward and suddenly boom, everything is the
<v Speaker 1>way it should be. And there wasn't any there wasn't
<v Speaker 1>any indication to them that they had gone through anything,
<v Speaker 1>but clearly in their perception they had. They traversed incredible
<v Speaker 1>distances allegedly in just a heartbeat. So, you know, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know what to make of that, but I can't
<v Speaker 1>I can't discount the possibility, especially since I've experienced a
<v Speaker 1>version of that myself.
<v Speaker 3>I've experienced that same thing with my cousin. We were
<v Speaker 3>actually coming home from a bigfoot out in in Texas
<v Speaker 3>and I experienced it along with him in Tyler, Texas,
<v Speaker 3>and I'll never forget it. We were on our way home.
<v Speaker 3>It was the first time that we had been down
<v Speaker 3>to that part of Texas. A few days prior to that,
<v Speaker 3>we had driven through Tyler. Obviously it stands out because
<v Speaker 3>back then, you know, you don't have GPS. You're relying
<v Speaker 3>on road maps and atlases and stuff, so paying attention
<v Speaker 3>to the surroundings and everything. And on the way home,
<v Speaker 3>we're approaching Tyler, so I'm thinking about, like, okay, I
<v Speaker 3>need to look for this turn and everything, and just boom,
<v Speaker 3>we're about one or two miles outside of Tyler on
<v Speaker 3>the opposite side. Oh and we both just kind of
<v Speaker 3>like look at each other and what just happened? You know,
<v Speaker 3>the clock is now like thirty six minutes later. Neither
<v Speaker 3>one of us have any recollection of driving through Tyler.
<v Speaker 3>We were in Tyler and then we were past it
<v Speaker 3>and it's broad daylight, middle of the afternoon, like nothing,
<v Speaker 3>you know, nothing abnormal atmosphere wise, no explanation for it.
<v Speaker 3>I'd like to take a minute and talk about the
<v Speaker 3>sponsor of this episode. This show is sponsored by Betterhelp.
<v Speaker 3>Did you know that six million men in the US
<v Speaker 3>suffer from depression every year and it's usually undiagnosed. Most
<v Speaker 3>men feel like they have to maintain that image of
<v Speaker 3>keeping it all together, even when they are feeling the
<v Speaker 3>pressures of everyday life. But the truth is it's okay
<v Speaker 3>to struggle. In fact, there's a lot of strength that
<v Speaker 3>comes from opening up and doing something about it so
<v Speaker 3>you can be at your very best for yourself and
<v Speaker 3>the people you care about. I encourage all men that
<v Speaker 3>are feeling the pressure of the world on their shoulders
<v Speaker 3>to talk to someone, whether it be a friend, a
<v Speaker 3>loved one, or a therapist. Nobody has all the answers.
<v Speaker 3>We're not born with all the knowledge in the world.
<v Speaker 3>And just as you to go to someone to learn
<v Speaker 3>a new skill, there's no reason not to go to
<v Speaker 3>someone to learn how to cope with depression and take
<v Speaker 3>care of your own mental health. It should be as
<v Speaker 3>normal as exercise and diet in people's lives, not just
<v Speaker 3>for people who've experienced some major trauma. Better Help is
<v Speaker 3>the world's largest online therapy platform, having served over five

<v Speaker 3>LP dot com slash Bigfoot Pod. Now back to the show. Coincidentally,
<v Speaker 3>like I said, I was coming home from a Bigfoot outing. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>so is there a connection because one of the things
<v Speaker 3>that is associated with infrasound and EMF again, one of
<v Speaker 3>the symptoms is anxiety and panic disorder. And I was
<v Speaker 3>not a person who had any anxiety disorders, never experienced
<v Speaker 3>a panic attack or anything until I was on a
<v Speaker 3>Bigfoot outing And during that outing, I started having anxiety issues.
<v Speaker 3>And on my way home from that outing, I had
<v Speaker 3>my first panic attack. And those panic attacks would be
<v Speaker 3>come an integral part of my life for a very
<v Speaker 3>long time. Wow, yeah, now I'm over it. I don't.
<v Speaker 3>I don't have them anymore. They went away, Oh, thank goodness.
<v Speaker 3>But for a long time, yeah, they were there, they
<v Speaker 3>were severe, and I have no idea where they came from.
<v Speaker 3>So did they come from Bigfoot? Did they come from
<v Speaker 3>something I experienced that I don't realize I experienced.
<v Speaker 1>It's not something to consider like that you haven't experienced,
<v Speaker 1>but somehow it's being blocked from your memory, like even
<v Speaker 1>from stress. You know, people have stress reactions, like they
<v Speaker 1>won't remember parts of their lives that were extraordinarily stressful.
<v Speaker 1>So is it possible that you had a lot more
<v Speaker 1>of a confrontation than you then you can recall.
<v Speaker 3>That's one of the things that really scares me because
<v Speaker 3>we know that's a thing. We know that the human
<v Speaker 3>mind will block out memory of an event that are
<v Speaker 3>too stressful or traumatic for us to really deal with. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>So knowing that, and then people experience things like missing
<v Speaker 3>time or just just the idea that like, yeah, something
<v Speaker 3>happened to you that's so jacked up you can't even
<v Speaker 3>remember it. Like that's crazy, man, that's crazy.
<v Speaker 1>And it seems like someone else is driving the bus.
<v Speaker 1>At that point, it's like, wait a minute, who's in
<v Speaker 1>charge of this? Well, maybe we're not as in charge
<v Speaker 1>as we think we are, or any number of again,
<v Speaker 1>looking for answers in the soup of all of this
<v Speaker 1>weirdness is so tough, and I mean, it's a herculean
<v Speaker 1>task regardless.
<v Speaker 4>Right.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, So I'm going to share a story a place
<v Speaker 3>I've talked about over the years a few times, the
<v Speaker 3>dead End Road. I'm trying to think, Yeah, the first
<v Speaker 3>time I went to it. Oh crap, the first time
<v Speaker 3>I went to the dead End Road was whenever I
<v Speaker 3>experienced the missing time. Oh wow, Yeah, I just made
<v Speaker 3>that connection. I had never thought about that before, but yeah, man, okay.
<v Speaker 3>But anyway, so the dead End Road, I had been
<v Speaker 3>there a few times, had never really had anything crazy happen,
<v Speaker 3>vocalizations and stuff like that, but it was a place.
<v Speaker 3>It was the first place I went to involving bigfoot stuff,
<v Speaker 3>where just going there, it was one of those places
<v Speaker 3>where something's not right. This place does not feel right,
<v Speaker 3>something's off. And the last time I went there, which
<v Speaker 3>was the reason it was the last time I went there,
<v Speaker 3>I had some experiences that you know, I did not
<v Speaker 3>attribute to Bigfoot in any way, but I guess if
<v Speaker 3>you did apply Bigfoot to it, it would have been
<v Speaker 3>considered a paranormal Bigfoot experience. But it was because of
<v Speaker 3>my you know again growing up in a haunted house
<v Speaker 3>and everything. I just automatically shoved it over into the
<v Speaker 3>ghost pile, you know. And yeah, so there was a
<v Speaker 3>couple of things that happened on that trip that was weird.
<v Speaker 3>There was. It was definitely a place where, like you
<v Speaker 3>were talking about, batteries would drain instantly and you know,
<v Speaker 3>equipment would malfunction. And it was a dead end road
<v Speaker 3>in a forest. That's why we called it the dead end.
<v Speaker 3>And we were there. I was with a group of
<v Speaker 3>people and it was pitch black dark in Texas, there's
<v Speaker 3>no ambient light, and there was probably man if I
<v Speaker 3>wanted to count it up, there was probably eight to
<v Speaker 3>ten people there at the time it was. We were
<v Speaker 3>a pretty large group of people at this dead end,
<v Speaker 3>you know, multiple vehicles looking for Bigfoot, mostly just recording audio.
<v Speaker 3>Was really the only purpose of us being there. We
<v Speaker 3>weren't really out there looking or you know, going out
<v Speaker 3>into the woods even. We were just had our audio
<v Speaker 3>recorders out listening for sounds and stuff, hoping that something
<v Speaker 3>would come, you know, walk around and mess with us
<v Speaker 3>or something. And I started feeling sick, not anxious, just sick,
<v Speaker 3>like nauseous and dizzy, and I tried drinking some water.
<v Speaker 3>Didn't help, and the longer I was there, the worse
<v Speaker 3>it got. Well. At one point there was one of
<v Speaker 3>the people was driving a suburban and it was parked
<v Speaker 3>parallel to the tree line on one side, and they
<v Speaker 3>had taken a gag camera and basically mounted it in
<v Speaker 3>the passenger side window facing the tree line, which the
<v Speaker 3>tree line was only like a couple feet away. But
<v Speaker 3>the idea was is something tried to sneak up from
<v Speaker 3>that side, you know, the camera would go off. And
<v Speaker 3>I was on the other side of the suburban, and
<v Speaker 3>like I said, it was extremely dark, and I saw
<v Speaker 3>a person walking next to the suburban from like the
<v Speaker 3>front of the hood, going down the side of the car.
<v Speaker 3>I couldn't tell who it was because it was too dark,
<v Speaker 3>but it was definitely human shaped, and it was between
<v Speaker 3>the suburban and the tree line, so a very small space.
<v Speaker 3>And it all happened really fast, you know, because it's
<v Speaker 3>just like a person walking. I look over there, I
<v Speaker 3>see them walking, and I'm thinking, that idiot, they're fixing
<v Speaker 3>it get blasted with a flash from that camera, you know,
<v Speaker 3>because they're gonna walk right by the camera right and
<v Speaker 3>it was in the front passenger window of the vehicle.
<v Speaker 3>So I have no explanation with this. The person that
<v Speaker 3>I saw walked right past the camera down the other
<v Speaker 3>side of the vehicle. Now I obviously I couldn't see them.
<v Speaker 3>They weren't like taller than the vehicle or anything. But
<v Speaker 3>I saw them from the front of the vehicle as
<v Speaker 3>they walked past the side of the hood and then
<v Speaker 3>out of my view blocked by the vehicle where the
<v Speaker 3>camera was mounted. And the flash never goes off, the
<v Speaker 3>camera never gets triggered.
<v Speaker 1>WHOA.
<v Speaker 3>So I walk around behind the vehicle towards the tree line,
<v Speaker 3>and there's just nobody there. Nobody's back there, there's nobody
<v Speaker 3>on the side of the vehicle or anything. But I'm
<v Speaker 3>feeling sick, you know. So I'm just like, Okay, that
<v Speaker 3>was weird, you know, and I'm starting to like freak
<v Speaker 3>out a little bit because now I don't know what
<v Speaker 3>I just saw. So then I noticed that there's this rope,
<v Speaker 3>like a legit rope, hanging from the tree. There's like
<v Speaker 3>this big tree at the end of the dead end
<v Speaker 3>and it's I'm assuming like an oak tree, and you know,
<v Speaker 3>it has these big, overhanging limbs, and there's this rope
<v Speaker 3>hanging down that's just barely head level. But whenever I
<v Speaker 3>would turn to look at it directly, I couldn't see anything.
<v Speaker 3>It was just like if I was like walking around,
<v Speaker 3>like turning my head, I would see it there. Out
<v Speaker 3>of my peripheral I would see it there. But if
<v Speaker 3>I turned and looked at it, like what's that rope
<v Speaker 3>doing there? It was gone. And I watched people subconsciously
<v Speaker 3>kind of duck down as they walked underneath the rope.
<v Speaker 3>They kind of like, you know, move their head down
<v Speaker 3>between their shoulders a bit, so it was like they
<v Speaker 3>were noticing it. But like nobody's saying anything about this rope.
<v Speaker 3>And I mean, we're in the deep woods of East Texas.
<v Speaker 3>I don't need to paint a horrible picture or anything,
<v Speaker 3>but you know, sure. And so as the night progressed,
<v Speaker 3>I kept on getting sicker and sicker and sicker, to
<v Speaker 3>the point where I had to actually lay down in
<v Speaker 3>the backseat of the suburban. You know, Like I said,
<v Speaker 3>I tried drinking water. I thought at first, maybe I'm
<v Speaker 3>dehydrate or something. I just I couldn't shake it. I
<v Speaker 3>felt so sick, and I felt so bad and so uneasy,
<v Speaker 3>and finally I told everybody, I've got to go. Something's wrong.
<v Speaker 3>I do not feel good. I can't be here anymore.
<v Speaker 3>And I made everybody. I felt like shit. Man, you know,
<v Speaker 3>nobody wants to do that. You're on a big foot
<v Speaker 3>out and there's like ten people and like, okay, But
<v Speaker 3>you know, they were all nice about it and everything.
<v Speaker 3>We all loaded up and we left and we went,
<v Speaker 3>you know, drove off the dead end going down the road.
<v Speaker 3>We turned a corner and you're kind of in this
<v Speaker 3>straightaway for a while. It's probably a quarter mile down
<v Speaker 3>the road, and I start feeling better, not getting not
<v Speaker 3>one hundred percent, but the farther I got away from
<v Speaker 3>that location, the better I felt. Now, for the next
<v Speaker 3>couple of days, I was pretty drained energy wise, but
<v Speaker 3>I felt okay. The nauseous and disneyness and everything went
<v Speaker 3>away immediately. So a guy who's local that I talked
<v Speaker 3>to that wasn't there at the time said that that
<v Speaker 3>was a place where some really bad things had happened,
<v Speaker 3>involved involving a rope. I won't go into it. And
<v Speaker 3>later on in my own research, I found that the
<v Speaker 3>location is kind of a famous place because there's a
<v Speaker 3>real old sawmill there, not at the dead end, but
<v Speaker 3>in the vicinity next to the river, and the sawmill
<v Speaker 3>is still there. It's kind of a tourist attraction. People
<v Speaker 3>take hikes and look at it and everything. It's dilapidated
<v Speaker 3>building at this point, you can't even tell what it was.
<v Speaker 3>But doing my own research, I found that whenever it
<v Speaker 3>was in operation, it did in fact have some slave
<v Speaker 3>labor going on, and there were slave quarters in the
<v Speaker 3>woods there and a burial site that wasn't necessarily at
<v Speaker 3>the dead end, but it was within close proximity. So
<v Speaker 3>this is just like an area where yeah, bad Juju, man,
<v Speaker 3>bad Juju. There's you know, some beliefs that in the
<v Speaker 3>old sawmill. Like I said, it's covered in graffiti and everything.
<v Speaker 3>It's a dilapidated building, prime area for people to go
<v Speaker 3>worship Satan and do all that sort of thing. Who
<v Speaker 3>knows what goes on there, you know, but yeah, weird
<v Speaker 3>place man, and and kind of has that whole you know.
<v Speaker 3>Since then, that's my I got zapped by Bigfoot story,
<v Speaker 3>you know, that's my infrasound story, because that's you know,
<v Speaker 3>the train of thought like, oh, it must have been Bigfoot.
<v Speaker 3>At the time, I thought it was paranormal. Then it
<v Speaker 3>went to like, oh, well bigfoot infrasound, you know, And
<v Speaker 3>then I went back to the paranormal aspect of it,
<v Speaker 3>you know, with the rope and everything, and maybe that
<v Speaker 3>was a shadow person I saw or a spirit or something.
<v Speaker 3>And now it's just there's that overlap.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and that's that's always going to be a big
<v Speaker 1>question mark, and I think I think it'll remain that
<v Speaker 1>until until we can, maybe at some point point in
<v Speaker 1>some unforseeable future, identify what these phenomena are. You know. Again,
<v Speaker 1>I'm personally I'm in the flesh and blood camp, but
<v Speaker 1>I can't. I can't. I can't discredit those people that say, wait,
<v Speaker 1>there's something more going on here.
<v Speaker 4>I've seen it.
<v Speaker 1>I haven't, and you know, unfortunately or maybe fortunately or unfortunately,
<v Speaker 1>and it's up to the individual to decide. But I
<v Speaker 1>am kind of one of those guys that I've got
<v Speaker 1>to see it at least to acknowledge it, because I can't.
<v Speaker 1>I can't conceptualize it, you know, the whole Bigfoot is
<v Speaker 1>all these other things. Is it possible I acknowledge it?
<v Speaker 1>Can be yeah, and I can be absolutely wrong about
<v Speaker 1>it just being flesh and blood. I think I think
<v Speaker 1>at the very least Bigfoot is flesh and blood at
<v Speaker 1>least some of the time, you know, and maybe not
<v Speaker 1>all the time. And again I don't understand the mechanics
<v Speaker 1>of that. But but then again, what is spiritual activity?
<v Speaker 1>What is that exactly? And we don't have any answers
<v Speaker 1>either way. Really, we just have ideas in theories, but
<v Speaker 1>how they interrelate or how do they overlap? And why
<v Speaker 1>what is going on that makes these two very different
<v Speaker 1>phenomena incredibly similar in a lot of ways. And that's
<v Speaker 1>that's the conundrum, And maybe it has more to do
<v Speaker 1>with us than the actual phenomena. Like again, I like this.
<v Speaker 1>I like to steer back to the idea that, look,
<v Speaker 1>we are a part of every one of our experiences.
<v Speaker 1>We are the common denominator. Whether you're having a Bigfoot
<v Speaker 1>experience or a spiritual experience, or a UFO experience or
<v Speaker 1>a strange phenomena experience, you're still a part of that equation.
<v Speaker 1>And I think that that means we play a much
<v Speaker 1>more profound role in it than we think. We kind
<v Speaker 1>of look at it like, well, things are just happening
<v Speaker 1>to us, and that's just too bad. But isn't it
<v Speaker 1>kind of empowering to think that maybe, on some level,
<v Speaker 1>whether super consciously, subconsciously, or somewhere in between, that we
<v Speaker 1>are facilitating these events to a degree, Not that we're
<v Speaker 1>you know, actively trying to generate them and horrible things
<v Speaker 1>are happening, but that we are activating certain mechanics within
<v Speaker 1>ourselves that makes us able to perceive these things in
<v Speaker 1>these incredibly unique ways. And I don't know if that
<v Speaker 1>makes sense or not.
<v Speaker 3>No, absolutely does it, really does, I agree to a
<v Speaker 3>certain extent. You know, obviously we don't know anything for
<v Speaker 3>a fact at this point, but you're right, the common
<v Speaker 3>factor in all this stuff is us humans people, And
<v Speaker 3>then like skeptics, you know, you have your people who
<v Speaker 3>aren't necessarily believers and that experience these things and it
<v Speaker 3>changes their world obviously, But it's pretty rare to run
<v Speaker 3>across somebody who's just like I was a complete skeptic.
<v Speaker 3>I made fun of it, I debunked all of it,
<v Speaker 3>and then I had an experience that doesn't typically happen.
<v Speaker 3>People that are like that usually don't experience anything, right, right, Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>so is there something inside us that triggers it.
<v Speaker 1>I think there has to be. I've just come to
<v Speaker 1>that conclusion like we are we're again, we are the
<v Speaker 1>only common denominator in all of it, and I you
<v Speaker 1>know again. I've even covered stories where people have experienced
<v Speaker 1>phenomena in groups and different members of the group experienced
<v Speaker 1>a different thing, sometimes do an extraordinary amount of divergence
<v Speaker 1>from each other. And it's like, how could they have
<v Speaker 1>been in the same event, in the same place, experiences
<v Speaker 1>the same activity, and yet come away with just incredible
<v Speaker 1>diverse interpretations of it. And that to me has to
<v Speaker 1>signal some part of the experiencer being facility, a facilitator
<v Speaker 1>of the event. I mean, it just I'm really sold
<v Speaker 1>on that personally.
<v Speaker 3>Well, there was a situation with my aunt who at
<v Speaker 3>the time was living in a farmhouse outside of Weston, Missouri.
<v Speaker 3>And this farmhouse part of the deal was they got
<v Speaker 3>to live there for free because the farmhouse sat on
<v Speaker 3>a tobacco farm, and as long as they took care
<v Speaker 3>of the property and everything, they got to live in
<v Speaker 3>the house for free. So they had like this huge
<v Speaker 3>acreage of property. And she knew I was into bigfoot,
<v Speaker 3>and she wasn't necessarily a believer, but she just didn't
<v Speaker 3>put a lot of stock into it, and whenever we
<v Speaker 3>did talk about it, she was just kind of like, well,
<v Speaker 3>you know, I'm sure you know, it's just of God's creatures,
<v Speaker 3>and if we're meant to find out that it's real,
<v Speaker 3>we will and blah blah blah. And that was pretty
<v Speaker 3>much the extent of it. So one day she calls
<v Speaker 3>me and she's like, hey, have you ever heard of
<v Speaker 3>bigfoot knocking on houses? And I'm just like, what do
<v Speaker 3>you mean knocking on houses? Like knocking on the door.
<v Speaker 3>And she's like, no, like just like hitting the side
<v Speaker 3>of a house, like slapping it. And I'm just like, well,
<v Speaker 3>as a matter of fact, yes, I've heard of that
<v Speaker 3>at time or two before. Why do you ask? So
<v Speaker 3>she starts piling all this information on me, and she
<v Speaker 3>prefaces all of it with I thought my house was haunted,
<v Speaker 3>and she tells me that she had experienced something slapping
<v Speaker 3>the side of the house. That's kind of how it started.
<v Speaker 3>And then there was like some in distances where you know,
<v Speaker 3>we're talking about out in the country here, so there
<v Speaker 3>was like a skunk that you know, her husband had
<v Speaker 3>killed and threw out on the burn pile or whatever,
<v Speaker 3>and the next day it's laying on the front porch
<v Speaker 3>of the house. Now, that could have been an animal,
<v Speaker 3>you know. So that's kind of just how people write
<v Speaker 3>things off. You know, it's probably just an animal. Well,
<v Speaker 3>then there's you know these trash barrels where they throw
<v Speaker 3>their trash away, and something's getting into the trash barrels
<v Speaker 3>and rummaging through the trash but not making a mess
<v Speaker 3>and then putting the lid back on the top of
<v Speaker 3>the barrel. Yeah, so then we had that incident. Then
<v Speaker 3>we had there's like a cedar tree next to the
<v Speaker 3>driveway and she goes out to her car one morning
<v Speaker 3>and the top of the cedar tree is snapped off
<v Speaker 3>and laying on the hood of the car. There had
<v Speaker 3>no storms or anything, and the cedar tree itself, if
<v Speaker 3>it had just broken on its own and fallen from
<v Speaker 3>the top of the tree, it was too far away
<v Speaker 3>from the car to land on the car. It was
<v Speaker 3>clearly placed there. And then there was another instance where
<v Speaker 3>she went out to her car and again lives out
<v Speaker 3>in the country in Missouri. No reason to lock your
<v Speaker 3>doors or anything at night. Everything in the front seat
<v Speaker 3>like she had if I remember right, she had like
<v Speaker 3>one of those little cases with like CDs and stuff
<v Speaker 3>in it and all that. Oh yeah, and like a
<v Speaker 3>you know, a pop bottle up there or something, you know,
<v Speaker 3>just a messy car, and everything in the front had
<v Speaker 3>been moved to the back. Nothing was missing, but everything
<v Speaker 3>was in the back seat and the door was open.
<v Speaker 3>But that was it. Nothing gone, Like they didn't take
<v Speaker 3>the CDs. Basically at the time, must have been kids,
<v Speaker 3>you know her Her driveway is like a quarter mile long.
<v Speaker 3>You know, kids, in the middle of night, we're gonna
<v Speaker 3>go sneak up on that farmhouse and run into this car.
<v Speaker 3>But yeah, and then so she was working part time
<v Speaker 3>nights as a bartender, and so she had a motion
<v Speaker 3>light on the back of the house because she had
<v Speaker 3>parked by the back and going through the back door.
<v Speaker 3>And so there's a motion light on the back corner
<v Speaker 3>of the house. And she comes home one night and
<v Speaker 3>the light doesn't come on. It's broken, and she trips
<v Speaker 3>on the sidewalk, falls, knocks like a tooth loose. It
<v Speaker 3>was horrible. Oh, she was so mad, so like it
<v Speaker 3>really stood out to her that the light didn't come
<v Speaker 3>on right and so she's like cussing, my uncle. You know,
<v Speaker 3>you need to get the light fixed, you know, the
<v Speaker 3>light bulbs went out or whatever. So he goes out
<v Speaker 3>there and the motion detector had been pushed all the
<v Speaker 3>way up where it was pointing up and the lights
<v Speaker 3>weren't fine. And we're talking it's on the eve of
<v Speaker 3>a house, you know, so it's you know, he had
<v Speaker 3>to get a ladder to reach it. If that tells
<v Speaker 3>you how high it was. Obviously they didn't measure it
<v Speaker 3>or anything. But that happened like two or three more times,
<v Speaker 3>and I was like, I was like, well, did you
<v Speaker 3>ever see anything? And she was like no. But there's like,
<v Speaker 3>you know, sometimes whenever I'd come home at night, because
<v Speaker 3>she would get home after bar closed, so it would
<v Speaker 3>be like, you know, sometimes three o'clock in the morning,
<v Speaker 3>and she's pretty much blind as a bat, hence her
<v Speaker 3>tripping and falling when the light didn't come on, and
<v Speaker 3>she would talk about you know, sometimes I'd stop my
<v Speaker 3>car and I'd get out and I'd feel like somebody
<v Speaker 3>was standing there watching me, or I'd I'd think I'd
<v Speaker 3>hear somebody running off in the darkness, but I couldn't
<v Speaker 3>never see anything. And as it turns out, so her property,
<v Speaker 3>like I said, was a big acreage and it's mostly
<v Speaker 3>clear cut for tobacco. But then there's a tree line
<v Speaker 3>and there's like a finger of woods that kind of
<v Speaker 3>comes out towards her house on the closest point to
<v Speaker 3>where this bard sits on the back of her property,
<v Speaker 3>and that finger of woods leads to the rest of
<v Speaker 3>the woods, and those woods are actually in a river bottom.
<v Speaker 3>And later on she called me and asked me if
<v Speaker 3>I knew these two guys, and she said their names,
<v Speaker 3>and I said it doesn't really ring a bell. Why
<v Speaker 3>And she said, well, they're bigfoot hunters and they came
<v Speaker 3>and knocked on my door and they wanted permission to
<v Speaker 3>come on my property and set up cameras because they
<v Speaker 3>believe bigfoot are traveling that river back there and are
<v Speaker 3>coming up on my property possibly. And yeah, and so
<v Speaker 3>like you know, I get on the computer, I look
<v Speaker 3>up their names and like, yeah, I find out who
<v Speaker 3>they are, you know, what group they're with at the
<v Speaker 3>time and everything. I was like, yeah, don't let them
<v Speaker 3>on the property. Hey, it's my family. You know, you're
<v Speaker 3>gonna have to have some pretty strong bigfoot credentials to
<v Speaker 3>get on my family's property. Sorry, and those guys didn't
<v Speaker 3>cut it. But yeah, so but like I said, the
<v Speaker 3>whole thing like, she was very hesitant to ever even
<v Speaker 3>mention it to me because she thought it was like
<v Speaker 3>a haunting. She thought weird stuff was happening around her house.
<v Speaker 3>But like a bigfooter hears this stuff is like, oh man,
<v Speaker 3>that's bigfoot, you know instantly.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's certain certainly some phenomena which is
<v Speaker 1>is almost carbon copy for from account to account to
<v Speaker 1>account that you can go, yeah, that's a big foot.
<v Speaker 1>That's that's clearly a bigfoot. There's so many of the
<v Speaker 1>behaviors are just stereotypical bigfoot activity that we've heard hundreds
<v Speaker 1>or thousands of times in so many encounter stories, which
<v Speaker 1>is you know, as a side note, is why I
<v Speaker 1>love people's reports because that's the only constant we have
<v Speaker 1>in any of this, is what people are reporting to us. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you know, it's these behaviors over and over, and they're
<v Speaker 1>seeing these behaviors displayed over and over and case after
<v Speaker 1>case after case, so that gives us insight. That's the
<v Speaker 1>only commonality and the only consistent insight that we have
<v Speaker 1>is these reports, but but there's other stuff that's like,
<v Speaker 1>you know, kind of blurs the lines. It's like, well,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why the bigfoot melted away in your
<v Speaker 1>front yard. I don't I don't understand that. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what to tell you that. That doesn't make sense
<v Speaker 1>to me, But it doesn't mean it didn't happen.
<v Speaker 3>So yeah, I think there's an an incredible amount of
<v Speaker 3>value on witness reports.
<v Speaker 4>Absolutely.
<v Speaker 3>I know they're fallible. I get it. However, like you said,
<v Speaker 3>you know, it's the collection of reports where you start
<v Speaker 3>seeing that data repeat itself, and that's kind of how
<v Speaker 3>we figure things out.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's how we put together any kind of behavioral
<v Speaker 1>profile on these things at all. It's like, well, big
<v Speaker 1>for are curious, Well how do you know that? Well,
<v Speaker 1>because consistently, when people go camping and they're out in
<v Speaker 1>the woods or they're of a cabin near the woods,
<v Speaker 1>these things are coming up and checking out what's going on,
<v Speaker 1>like they want to know, and they're constantly observed watching
<v Speaker 1>people in different settings. Like if this was truly a
<v Speaker 1>species that was hell bent on our absence, that wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>be happening. But they seem to be definitely interested in
<v Speaker 1>what we're doing, so we can corroborate that through thousands
<v Speaker 1>of different reports that tell us this is what they
<v Speaker 1>were observed doing. Well, yeah, they're curious.
<v Speaker 3>And there are those overlaps, which is one of the
<v Speaker 3>reasons I am interested in talking to people with all
<v Speaker 3>kinds of experiences, not just bigfoot, but dog man, aliens, ghosts, whatever,
<v Speaker 3>because it's those overlaps that interest me. And you know,
<v Speaker 3>I'm not just subject specific, I'm into all of it.
<v Speaker 3>And it's just, you know, less and less people are
<v Speaker 3>coming forward. Man, They're less likely to share their story,
<v Speaker 3>or they'll share it once and they think that they're done.
<v Speaker 3>They don't need to share it anymore because they already
<v Speaker 3>shared it. But the therapeutic reasons are enough, and the
<v Speaker 3>fact that it helps build the database of information for everyone.
<v Speaker 1>And it's impowered to I think it's it's it's empowering
<v Speaker 1>for people that haven't decided to come forward to hear
<v Speaker 1>someone else come out and tell their story, and it
<v Speaker 1>emboldens more people to say, well, yeah, I've got this
<v Speaker 1>story too. I wonder if they'd be interested in that. Like,
<v Speaker 1>I think that that again, there's still that that issue
<v Speaker 1>with people experiencing the strange and unusual. It's like, what
<v Speaker 1>do I do with this? Because you know, we all
<v Speaker 1>have our pure groups, we all have our family groups, but.
<v Speaker 4>Not every family.
<v Speaker 1>You know, every family wants to hear like, hey, you
<v Speaker 1>got a promotion network, or oh things aren't going good
<v Speaker 1>with your spouse, but not hey, I saw a big,
<v Speaker 1>ten foot tall, hairy thing in my yard. You know,
<v Speaker 1>they don't know what to do with that, and so
<v Speaker 1>people feel this incredible isolation. But again, through the through
<v Speaker 1>the network of shows and opportunities that they have to
<v Speaker 1>check out other people sharing their stories, it's like, well, wow,
<v Speaker 1>maybe maybe I can talk to these guys about it.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe this is a place where I can put that
<v Speaker 1>because you know, it didn't used to be the case,
<v Speaker 1>but it is now, and thank god, and the more
<v Speaker 1>people that share, the more that it really does help
<v Speaker 1>to paint a more clear picture for the rest of
<v Speaker 1>us what the hell's going on with this stuff.
<v Speaker 3>It floors me to hear that there are instances where
<v Speaker 3>people have shared their story with someone. Maybe it's a podcast,
<v Speaker 3>maybe it's a researcher taking a report, whatever, but I've
<v Speaker 3>had witnesses tell me, are you going to make fun
<v Speaker 3>of me, you know, are are you just you know,
<v Speaker 3>trying to make fun of me? Are you going to
<v Speaker 3>put me out there and make fun of me, or
<v Speaker 3>are you going to like tell me that I didn't
<v Speaker 3>experience or whatever, because they've experienced that with other people.
<v Speaker 3>And it just blows my mind because I understand the
<v Speaker 3>vetting process. I understand that you don't want to provide
<v Speaker 3>a platform for some hoaxer or some liar just to
<v Speaker 3>get some tension. But it's been my experience, like you
<v Speaker 3>said earlier, that the people that make up stories are
<v Speaker 3>trying to get attention, They're trying to get in front
<v Speaker 3>of a large crowd. And you can tell the difference
<v Speaker 3>between that and somebody that's kind of timid and kind
<v Speaker 3>of reluctant to share their story and doesn't really want
<v Speaker 3>to put it out there.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, well, you know, I mean not like, not everybody's
<v Speaker 1>qualified to be a counselor. I mean, some people just
<v Speaker 1>aren't good listeners. But the thing could be said for
<v Speaker 1>a host. Not everybody. He is a good host and
<v Speaker 1>will make their guests feel comfortable and feel good about
<v Speaker 1>sharing their experiences. I mean there's some there's some garbage
<v Speaker 1>people out there in every walk of life, and certainly
<v Speaker 1>podcasts and shows are no different. Now, you know, I
<v Speaker 1>gotta I gotta at least qualify that and say, look that,
<v Speaker 1>you know, everybody I've met so far has been absolutely wonderful,
<v Speaker 1>and I've met some incredible new friends and lifelong friends
<v Speaker 1>that I'm sure I have forever because of doing this
<v Speaker 1>and meeting other hosts that do their show as much
<v Speaker 1>like yourself. But there are some people out there that
<v Speaker 1>I don't endeavor to try to meet just because I.
<v Speaker 4>Don't I don't wanna.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to get involved in that other side
<v Speaker 1>of this, because there is another side, you know, and
<v Speaker 1>unfortunately they have, they have their approach, they have the
<v Speaker 1>way that they do things, and it's not up to
<v Speaker 1>me to say they should or shouldn't be doing it.
<v Speaker 1>But I can just say that I think it's important
<v Speaker 1>when somebody does come forward and was willing to share
<v Speaker 1>their story to feel a like it's appreciated, because you know,
<v Speaker 1>these stories are valuable, and also that they're they're they're
<v Speaker 1>speaking to a compassionate hear about it, not someone that's
<v Speaker 1>kind of yucking and joking through their thing. And and
<v Speaker 1>just I don't know, trying to make a mockery of it,
<v Speaker 1>and and so I don't know, I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>that makes sense or not. But I think there's in
<v Speaker 1>every walk of life, there's people that are really good
<v Speaker 1>at their jobs. There's people that aren't really good at
<v Speaker 1>their jobs. And you know, I would just impress upon
<v Speaker 1>people before you go on a show, listen to it.
<v Speaker 1>Make sure it's a show that you like and you trust,
<v Speaker 1>and you know the people are going to treat you
<v Speaker 1>okay and talk you through this experience. But again, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm not blowing my own horn. I'm not saying it's
<v Speaker 1>always me, but I just think it's important to let
<v Speaker 1>people know that, Look, I'm.
<v Speaker 4>Not here to judge you. I'm not here.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, obviously, not every interview I've ever done makes
<v Speaker 1>it onto the show, and that can be for any
<v Speaker 1>number of reasons, but certainly one of those reasons can
<v Speaker 1>be Look, I listened to the person, and I don't
<v Speaker 1>believe that they're being honest about what was going on
<v Speaker 1>and what they experienced. And you know, I guess you
<v Speaker 1>got to be a gatekeeper to some degree. But at
<v Speaker 1>the same sense, you know, I do consider it a
<v Speaker 1>sincere honor when people come forward and are willing to
<v Speaker 1>share their stories on my show, because I mean, it
<v Speaker 1>is a it is a it's an active trust on
<v Speaker 1>their parts to come on my show and expose themselves.
<v Speaker 1>Much as you know people coming on your show, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>they kind of bearn their soul. They're bearing some of
<v Speaker 1>their most terrifying memories that they have out in public,
<v Speaker 1>and it should be done tastefully and in helping manner.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I agree, And like you said, the whole point
<v Speaker 3>of that was not to say, oh, I'm better and
<v Speaker 3>you should come on my show. You should, But that
<v Speaker 3>wasn't the point. The point is, if that does, for
<v Speaker 3>some reason happen to you, don't give up. It's worth
<v Speaker 3>to find somebody else, go on another podcast, go on
<v Speaker 3>a different website, and submit your report, because you're really
<v Speaker 3>helping tremendously by sharing your experience more than you can
<v Speaker 3>possibly know, not only for yourself, but like we're saying,
<v Speaker 3>for the other individuals. And maybe it's not my show,
<v Speaker 3>maybe it's somebody else's show. That's fine, just get it out,
<v Speaker 3>get it out there.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely, we all stand to a benefit from more
<v Speaker 1>people coming forward and explaining what they saw and what
<v Speaker 1>they experienced, because you know, we stand to learn something
<v Speaker 1>with every encounter.
<v Speaker 3>Brent, thanks for coming on and talking about these subjects
<v Speaker 3>that we love so much that sticking our brains all
<v Speaker 3>the time and never make any more sense.
<v Speaker 1>They don't make much more sense, but I tell you
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't trade the journey for anything. I just love,
<v Speaker 1>love doing this and I'm really honored to be back.
<v Speaker 1>You know, I've always loved coming on the crossroads and
<v Speaker 1>hashing it out with you, and by all means, you
<v Speaker 1>ever need me, just holler, brother, I'm here.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I appreciate it, and tell everybody where they can
<v Speaker 3>find you at.
<v Speaker 1>Probably the best place to go is Paranormalportal dot net
<v Speaker 1>because that's my homepage and it'll explain to the other
<v Speaker 1>different different shows that I do have. They're both they're
<v Speaker 1>all called Paranormal Portal, but they're not all the same shows.
<v Speaker 1>So I have a YouTube channel, I have a Rumble channel.
<v Speaker 1>I stream live on Facebook, x, Twitch, et cetera. But
<v Speaker 1>I also have podcasts which are audio as well as
<v Speaker 1>just like Matts, and you can find those on all
<v Speaker 1>the platforms out there, but just do a search or
<v Speaker 1>Paranormal Portal or go to paranormal Portal dot net.
<v Speaker 3>And if you would like to come on this podcast
