So Many Things Have Happened Lately... This Is Hard
I still can’t believe everything that happened this week… 🐴💕
This has been one of the most emotional and intense foaling seasons I’ve ever experienced. In today’s episode, I’m sharing the full story of Maggie, from her emergency colic surgery while pregnant to the unimaginable moment she delivered a healthy foal less than 24 hours later. It’s a rollercoaster of farm life, tough decisions, and just how incredible these horses truly are.
We talk through everything behind the scenes, the vet visits, the risks, and why a C-section in horses is nothing like it is in humans. We also chat about Stephanie's very interesting milk-tasting technique, foal watch updates on Happy, Phoebe, and Annie, and we wrap up with another round of "Do You Know Your Animals?" featuring Lindsay.
Moments like this remind me why I love what I do, the highs, the lows, and the miracles we get to witness along the way. Let me know what y’all want us to talk about next 💕

I apologize for the oversight in the formatting. I have corrected the layout to strictly follow the timestamps and text style from your previous requests, omitting the names as you specified. 00:00 Welcome back to Katching Up With Katie. I sound terrible. Kimmy, lock in. I sound terrible. I 00:06 understand. Everyone's like, "You're sick all the time." Yeah, I don't sleep. No. And I don't quit working until 11:00 at night. And I don't take any medicine ever. And I probably don't eat very good 00:16 immunity foods. So, you know, it just is what it is. But we are almost over halfway through 00:23 foaling season at this point. Over halfway. And we're currently on foal watch as we are 00:31 filming this. We're on foal watch for Happy. She faked me out, as all the mares this year have, 00:36 because I thought we would have a two-day-old baby by now. Yeah. But you know, I'm being humbled 00:43 a lot this season, and that's okay. That's what you need in life. And then I think I had like the 00:49 Monday of all Mondays this past week. So I woke up that morning being like, "Don't feel good," 00:56 felt very flu-like symptoms, sans like no fever. Mm-hmm. But symptoms of such, and when have I 01:10 taken a nap from 11:00 to 2:00 on a workday? I've never seen this woman nap in her life. And I was 01:16 just like curled up in the big chair snoozing. Didn't eat lunch. Didn't do nothing. And so I woke 01:24 up to go to the barn to finally, like, we had done stuff in the morning and came back. I was like, 01:33 "I just took a nap," and I was like, "We got to go wrap up for the day." And I was like, "I have 01:43 an easy day. I can go just get these videos done, come back and like go back to bed." Yeah. Because 01:43 at that point we were not on foal watch, and I had very much planned on just like dying. And 01:49 we go to the barn and immediately as I walk in the barn, Maggie lays down, and I was like, 01:57 "That is just not normal or ideal." And so for those that don't know, Maggie is one of our mares 02:03 who is due around now, and she had colic surgery at around 295 days pregnant, so like three and 02:12 a half weeks ago, four weeks ago. And when she had that first colic surgery, it was from her 02:19 colon being displaced. So like horses, their colon is like dangling inside. Dangling inside. I'm not 02:28 ever going to question the creator, but horses have the stupidest digestive tract and organ 02:36 placement out of like all animals, okay? And so they just like freaking could die from anything. 02:45 So her colon was on the opposite side of her body as it should have been, and it was wedged 02:56 up underneath her baby. With that first one, the gas buildup from it was creating so much pain, 02:56 and it was also causing her colon to have a lot of swelling. And anyway, they had to 03:03 fix it surgically, which she miraculously, like, that already wasn't a shoe-in that she'd be fine. 03:10 Mm-hmm. Already that was like, "Oh, baby might not do good, mama might not do." Like, that was 03:16 already a miracle that she made it through that so comfortably. And then she came home and seemed 03:22 to be doing fine. Like she was in the big foaling stall. We were watching her really closely. She 03:27 had her last baby with us in the mid-320s, and so I kind of assumed she would do the same this time. 03:34 And so we were like, "Please just let yourself heal." And we had already decided, you know, 03:43 since she's probably going to foal early, we're going to take her into the clinic to foal. We're 03:43 going to wait till her milk starts kind of looking suspicious, and then we'll take her in, because 03:52 it's only 30 minutes away. And so we were like, we're going to leave her comfortable while we can. 03:52 Well, that Monday, this past Monday, I see her lay down and I'm like, "That doesn't look right." 03:59 And so I go up to her, I'm like listening to her side. She's like, you know, just grunting. I hear 04:08 nothing. Like, generally, if you put your ear to like a horse's belly, there's all kinds of gurgles 04:15 and motion and all kinds of things. Wait, you can do that? Why couldn't you do that? I've just never 04:20 thought to do it. I mean, safely. And now I want to know what it sounds like. Well, we can listen. 04:28 Does it sound like a person where it's like, yeah, you can hear outside of their body? Like all the 04:34 time when I'm checking milk, I hear gurgles and all things. I'm going to get a stethoscope. Yeah, 04:39 we have one. We can go check Coco. I'm going to use a stethoscope. Let's check Coco. We have one. 04:46 And so I listened for gut sounds, heard nothing, and I was like, "That's awesome." So immediately, 04:56 because at this point she's weeks out from surgery and she looks very similar to the last time, 05:02 I was like, "Banamine now." We gave her some immediate response, which is kind of something 05:08 like if she was impacted or not pooping, it would kind of help with that. And I called 05:15 Jonathan. I was like, "Hey, I need, can you bring the trailer around?" Like just trying to get every 05:19 moving part happening as fast as possible. And we had her to the vet. From the time that I saw her 05:26 lay down to the time she walked into the vet, it was 35 minutes. And we had given her Banamine 05:36 right before she got on the trailer, so that was kicking in when we got there. She was still like 05:36 pawing and just so upset and so in pain. And I was really worried that she had gone down 05:42 on the trailer a couple times. And so we get her to the vet immediately. They're like, "Yeah, her 05:49 colon's in the wrong spot again." And so I don't know, I mean, there's no way to know officially. I 05:54 don't know if it was just like baby was moving it around because baby was super active, like 06:01 getting ready to come out. But yeah, it was wedged up underneath baby again. And so this time though, 06:09 she didn't have a lot of gas in her stomach, which was good because we caught it early. We caught it 06:15 super early. And the gas was what was making her even more uncomfortable the first time. And so 06:21 the hope was that we could use drugs, lidocaine, like lidocaine's a drug, and time to let her be 06:32 comfortable and hopefully it would just kind of move around. Now, her being that heavily in foal 06:38 made it that much less likely that it would move, because again it's like wedged under this baby. So 06:48 it was probably like, what, 3:30 when we had her at the vet? And I would say by 5:30 or 6:00, 07:00 they called me and said, "Hey, we're not at surgery yet, but we've got to have some serious 07:07 conversations." And it was a vet that I've known for a really long time and that I absolutely love, 07:18 their newest surgeon, and he had done her first surgery. They're very good about communication, 07:18 and so they're like, "We just have to have some really hard conversations." And I mean, 07:29 I feel like I make hard decisions a lot, like all the time. I feel like it's not necessarily easy, 07:29 but I mean, you just get used to having to make kind of sucky decisions. And so they were like, 07:34 "Hey, we need to know, right now we're obviously trying our best to get her to not have surgery, 07:40 but if we have to do a re-cut, obviously odds are worse for her, worse for baby, 07:47 worse for everything. And so we just need to know, because here's another zinger to throw in there, 07:56 colic surgeries are freaking expensive." Like the first one was like 10 grand. Mm-hmm. And 08:03 so it's like not everyone could do the first surgery, let alone a month later a second one. 08:11 And so they had to present me with that of being like, "Hey, we have to know what you want to do. 08:17 We're not going to, because absolutely some people would do a terminal C-section in this situation." 08:23 Mm-hmm. Which some people would choose to save the baby over the mom. Well, at that point, 08:32 if your mare is like constantly colicking and you don't have the funds to just keep doing surgeries, 08:37 like it's a real decision that I would not shame someone for. Absolutely. And so they're like, 08:45 "Some would just do a terminal C-section," which is where they do a C-section in a way that mom 08:55 would not recover from. They would put her down. And that does allow you to get baby out faster. 08:55 Mm-hmm. So that is something to take into account. And so they're like, "That's an option." And I was 09:00 like, "Is there another option?" Yeah. What's the next one? Is there another option here? They're 09:06 like, "Yeah." And they're like, "We could attempt to do the surgery like we did the first time and 09:11 see if we can't get her to hold baby in and foal." I'm like, "Can she foal?" Like, can she even foal 09:18 after having two abdominal surgeries? Because I mean, like, they've got some strong abdominals. 09:24 Yeah. And she was cut from like right in front of her udder to the middle of her belly. You know, 09:32 and it's hard on their body. Like, I mean, when they go into surgery, are you squeamish? It really 09:42 depends. It's kind of different things that kind of make me squeamish. You should look up a colic 09:47 surgery on YouTube. Okay. Which, I mean, colic surgeries vary on like what kind they are. But 09:54 generally speaking, they string them up by four legs. Like they sedate them, lay them down, string 10:01 them up by all four legs, hoist them up, take them over to the table. They have like an oxygen tube 10:08 down their throat, they have an anesthesiologist, they have the surgeon, they have surgery techs, 10:13 like all that good stuff. And she had already been through that a month prior. Yeah. Pregnant. 10:21 And then she has all this weight on her belly, you know. And so they were like, "We could do that 10:32 again." And I was like, "Okay, but like, are you telling me you could do it, but that you suggest 10:32 against it?" Like, is there any chance of success with it? And I'm like, "I mean, we can attempt to 10:37 do the surgery again and hope that she holds baby in for like days or even a couple weeks, 10:46 to give herself time to heal. We would obviously let her foal here, not at home, so that we could 10:53 help her. And if we get in there, we just need to know, like, at this point because there's two 10:59 lives." Because there's already the first surgery, you know, we had to have plan A, plan B, plan C. 11:08 We had to know, okay, if this happens, what do we do? Because they don't need to be calling 11:18 me being like, "Hey, what do you think we should do?" when they're in the middle of it. Like, they 11:18 need to know. They don't need to have to stop and call you. Exactly. And so they were like, "What's 11:18 plan B?" And I was like, "I mean..." And they were very, very good at guiding me through this, being 11:24 like, "We could do plan A, which is again the same surgery. Try to leave baby in. If we get in there 11:31 and baby is in distress and all the things, we could take baby and try to close her up and try to 11:37 fix her and see if she recovers." I mean, that's two very difficult surgeries. And here's the thing 11:44 to think about, because everyone, like I saw a lot of comments being like, "Why wouldn't you just 11:51 take the baby out? You already put her through so much, and you're going to make her foal now. 11:59 Like, why wouldn't you just do a C-section?" It is not the freaking same as a person. Let me just 11:59 get that out of the way. It is not the freaking same. They don't have a NICU sitting right there 12:05 with all incubators and everything. Like I don't know. With horses, everything is just so much more 12:12 violent looking. Like if you look up a C-section of a horse, when they're doing chest compressions 12:19 on a foal, it looks like you're beating it. Like it is so difficult and hard on this baby's body 12:24 and hard on the mom. Especially if she wasn't in labor prior to the surgery, and her body 12:38 hadn't released these hormones and like told the baby, "Hey, it's time to go, time to be born, 12:44 time to wake up." Due to that, that already puts a lot more risk that the baby's just not going to 12:55 thrive, not going to wake up. And then there's the fact that she was only 322 days. Sure, some of our 13:02 babies have been born at that stage and they've been fine, but there's other babies that if 13:08 they're not ready to come out at 322, their lungs might not be developed. And again, we don't have 13:19 all this like NICU. Sure, there is equipment, there are things you can do, but we just don't 13:19 have access to it right now. What I'm meaning is it's just not to the extent of humans. Yeah. And 13:25 so a lot of people were questioning it. I'm like, "You don't understand how different this is from 13:32 humans, or dogs, or other animals. This is such a large animal." And so plan B was like, okay, 13:41 maybe take baby if we have to. And then plan C was if her colon needed a resection and was like 13:49 super damaged, she would have such a low chance of survival anyway from that, it would be in baby's 13:59 best interest to get it out as fast as possible and do a terminal C-section at that point. And so 14:06 that was a plan as well, and I very much hoped that wasn't the plan. But I went through all that 14:13 with the vets and was like, "Okay, I'm with you." We made the decision, hung up, and again, it's 14:20 like, I don't feel like I lose it that often, and I've lost it multiple times this foaling season. I 14:32 just like lost it because I love Maggie, and that was such a weird and hard pre-decision to make, 14:32 you know? And it also gets your mind reeling of like what could happen. Yeah. And then I mean, 14:37 you can't do anything. Like I'm just at home, all I can do is pray. All I can do is think about it, 14:45 you know? And I mean, there's such a wide variety of people that follow this channel and that follow 14:54 me. Not saying that you have to believe what I believe, but I wholeheartedly believe the power of 15:02 prayer is what guided these vets and got this mom and baby through it. Because they called me back 15:09 like 10 minutes later and were like, "Yeah, we've got to go, we've got to do surgery." I'm like, 15:19 "Okay." And I didn't get a call, I mean that was probably like 7:00. I didn't get a call 15:19 till 1:30 in the morning, being like, "Okay, we're through." Because it was so difficult, 15:26 and her anesthesia was so difficult. And so I got a call at 1:30 and they were like, 15:32 "She made it through. Baby did great. Everything looks fine." I'm like, "Huh? Okay, great." And so 15:40 that was like the first hurdle, and I'm like, that was so unlikely. And what was even more unlikely, 15:49 I went and saw her the next morning because I had to go drop off some mares anyway, and I'm like, 15:55 "I'm going to go see Maggie this morning." She was like bright-eyed and wanting to eat, which, 16:01 her digestive tract is like wrecked, so they can't feed her normally at that point. And she looked 16:08 bright-eyed, bushy-tailed. Now, her udder looked like it was about to stream milk, so I was like, 16:19 "Oh, great." Like all this stress had for sure sent her into like, yeah, kickstarting things. 16:19 Anyway, it was just so unlikely. And then what was even more unlikely to go positively was, less 16:27 than 24 hours after being cut a second time, she goes into labor, and I get the call that evening 16:33 saying, "Well, water's broke, we've started, we will let you know how it goes." I'm like, 16:38 "Great." Mind you, Happy's also on foal watch and I'm like, "Oh, I can't even leave right now." And 16:44 so I think they called me at 6:50 saying, "Things have started, water's broke." 7:07. Baby's out. 16:55 Super perky. She did it by herself. No help. That's wild. They're like, "We tried to help. She 17:00 didn't want us." Horses are absolutely incredible. And Maggie is, I just don't know how to convey how 17:12 unlikely a positive outcome was, which we're still so early in that Maggie absolutely could still 17:21 have complications. But baby's pretty safe at this point. I mean, not safe, things could still 17:27 happen, but we're not really worried about baby. Maggie could still have some complications. But I 17:33 just don't know, like, can you imagine having like a C-section and then 24 hours later they say, "Oh, 17:43 push a baby out?" How did, they said that her stomach was bleeding as she was pushing. Yeah, 17:53 it was. So was it like breaking the stitches or was it just like the pressure kind of made 17:59 it bleed a little? Well, you know, I think there's always like a little bleeding and seepage when you 18:09 have like an open wound like that. That's why you change your bandages and stuff, but yeah, 18:09 the pressure built, and obviously she's using her abdomen, she's using her muscles to push. And 18:15 luckily, I had told them, "When she had her first baby, that thing came out like a rocket, like she 18:21 pushes that thing out fast." That was Molly. Mm-hmm. And so, you know, they noted that. But 18:31 yeah, it was definitely like heartbreaking to see that. I mean, birth always brings blood. Mm-hmm. 18:38 But you're seeing this mom, I mean, this is so graphic, I'm so sorry. Like you're seeing this 18:43 mom tearing herself apart to bring her baby into the world. And she's still here. How crazy. Like, 18:51 chipper. Yeah. And bright-eyed and ears up, and like, they sent me a picture and it's not a very 18:58 high-quality picture, but baby's standing up, ears up, and in the background he's tending her wounds, 19:05 and she's like licking her baby and being stitched back up. And I don't know, it was just, she's 19:13 very strong. It's just insane. And so yeah, it's been an eventful week. Lots of positive, lots of 19:24 saying yes to prayers, happened this week. Yeah. But I have a question about the surgery itself. 19:33 Why wouldn't they have, like with humans, they can tack down a colon or an organ or whatever. 19:40 Why wouldn't they do that for her? Horses, and I know they do that in like dogs and stuff too, 19:45 horses' colons, do they need to move? So like I think a healthy colon moves. And again, I'm 19:53 not a vet, but from how it was explained to me, in horses they've tried to do it and it's not common 20:00 practice and it's really not done because it tears easily. Got it. For some reason in horses more so 20:06 than other animals, and then you're just screwed. Yeah. Like, because we only have one colon, 20:13 right? Yeah. Then you're just screwed. And so I think a healthy colon in a horse can move around, 20:20 as long as it doesn't get hung up. It's like stuck. And when there's a big foal in there, 20:25 the foal and all that. So that took up the first, I don't even know how long of Katching Up With 20:33 Katie, but lots of people have been asking questions about that. The biggest thing is 20:44 people are like, "Is she done having babies?" I said she was done after her first surgery. She's 20:44 done. Okay. She's never having babies again. Now I don't know. I was going to ask the vet about like, 20:50 because someone mentioned, "Would you spay her so that if she ever did have a home in the future, 21:00 like they couldn't breed her?" And I was like, "I hadn't thought about that because I don't know, 21:00 spaying isn't like a common practice in horses." And so I don't know if that's something that 21:07 causes like hormonal issues. Yeah. Like, is it the same as a young woman getting a hysterectomy and 21:16 then having hormonal issues? I don't know. Yeah. I'm not saying I wouldn't do it to ensure that, 21:20 but it didn't cross my mind. But yeah, that baby's fine. Baby's beautiful. It's a little filly. I've 21:30 been trying to figure out names for it because everyone wants me to name it Miracle. And I, 21:35 I know, I had the same face. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm not fun. Miracle. I don't, here, if 21:43 I named every baby Miracle that people suggested I name Miracle because something happened to make 21:48 it alive, like we would have every baby named Miracle. Like there'd be two Miracle babies a 21:54 year. It just, I don't know, it feels cheesy to me, and I hate to say that. She doesn't look like 22:01 a Miracle. Like, just from a picture, I haven't seen her in person, but she, I'm just saying, 22:07 she's very cute. Unfortunately, people ruined her blaze for me. She has a very, very beautiful face 22:18 and very unique, if it was flipped upside down, it'd be fine. Very unique face marking. We can 22:24 put a picture up so that, I'm not going to tell you what it is because I don't want to ruin it 22:28 for you. I haven't seen it up close. You'll recognize it. I didn't see it until people 22:38 commented it. Ruined it for me. Don't tell me. Immediately. Immediately. I'm not going to 22:52 tell you, but people ruined it for me and now I can't unsee it. So anyway, sometimes, you know, 23:00 how you can see stuff in the clouds sometimes? Yeah. I don't know if I would have seen it, but if 23:08 I'm looking for something, I think we should just take a little pen and just color right next to 23:14 the side of it so it closes. But yeah, she's got the cutest little face. I'm more apt to name her 23:23 something along with Maggie, like some other form. Like, Maggie is short for Margaret, right? Like, 23:29 what's another short name for Margaret? Like Meg? I don't know. Margo. Margo. I like Margot. I like 23:36 Margo. Margo. I just think something to honor Maggie more so than anything. Kennedy doesn't even 23:43 know she had a new kid. Kennedy don't know. Maybe we should go show her a picture. You see your kid? 23:51 You had a baby. But yeah, it's going to be a minute before they come home. It'll be a while, 23:51 but all will be well when they do. I'm excited. How long does she have to stay at the clinic? 24:00 They haven't really given me an exact time. I know that tomorrow they're planning on introducing like 24:07 a little bit more, like she's been in her stall since she foaled. I think they're going to maybe 24:13 introduce like a little hand walking because, I mean, now we balance the fact that for foal 24:18 development, they need to move. Yeah. They need to move. And I do envision when they do come home, 24:24 for the first little bit, it's probably going to be where we hand-walk Maggie out in the pasture 24:24 or we hand-walk Maggie out in the arena and let baby run. Yeah. You know, I've seen some pretty 24:35 interesting takes on this whole situation. What do you mean on Maggie's situation? I'm just happy my 24:43 mama and baby are alive. Yeah, very much so. So it was a big relief. I walked down the stairs as she 24:52 was talking to the doctor and I was like, "Please be good news." And I didn't hear her crying, 24:52 so I was like, "Okay, this is going well." And then she got off the phone and she's like, 25:00 "What are you doing?" I was like, "Going to the bathroom." And she's like, "Maggie's okay." And 25:00 I'm like, "Okay." Woo. Well, you did see me the night before. You were just like lying down on 25:11 your phone and then you look up. I'm just like, sobbing and I'm like, "What do I do? 25:11 I don't know what to say." I was like, "Did you hear any of that conversation?" And you're like, 25:20 "I had it on speaker phone." Whenever you're on the phone, I do my best to like zone out because 25:20 it's not my business. Appreciate that. That's noted. Now, if it's like Jonathan on speaker, 25:27 I'm going to listen. What are y'all talking about? What are y'all doing? I genuinely do not do that. 25:32 You listen. If someone's on the phone around me, if I have to take a private conversation, 25:38 I'll go somewhere private. Yeah. So generally, if someone's on the phone and I hear a crazy 25:44 sentence, yeah, I mean, whoa, I'll lock in. What are they talking about? Oh my goodness. A lot of 25:53 times I will be listening and then as soon as the phone's off, I'm like, "What was that?" Tea. Oh 26:02 my goodness. But yeah, I mean, foal watch is back. We're doing live foal watches. They are upset that 26:09 we're not doing D&D live. We can do it, but, I know we, don't give me that look. I saw that 26:16 slight little side eye. So last night we played it and we didn't do it live just because I don't even 26:25 know why we didn't do it live last night. I think we were just kind of, last night I think we were 26:25 just playing to play. Yeah. And sometimes we need that. Sometimes we need to like not be on social 26:35 media. And so we were just playing and we had a really big battle and we were being nerds and it 26:40 was great. Two and a half hours, someone was ready to go to bed and on her phone, not locking in. 26:51 I was working and paying for the whole shebang. Okay. Someone's got to. I was posting until 11:00. 27:01 And like, no one says anything to me because it's like, paying everybody to be there that night. But 27:08 yeah, we should do that. We probably need to get back into it. I say we're going to do it tonight. 27:17 This is getting posted way after tonight. Might still be on foal watch, though. Well, 27:17 I mean, we have three more mares left. There's a very high possibility. We're on Happy's foal 27:26 watch right now. We might end up being on Phoebe because Phoebe's been progressing. Annie is also 27:26 due around the same time. And so yeah, I mean, is there not a possibility, I mean, obviously there's 27:35 a possibility that Annie or Phoebe could foal first, but yeah, I'd say it's more likely Phoebe. 27:40 Yeah. Than Annie. Annie hasn't been doing much. And Stephanie has been bringing in a new little 27:49 prediction to the checkups. Yeah. I don't know how I feel about that. She tastes the milk, which, I 28:02 understand. I drink cow milk, you know? Like, why is it any different? Probably because it's just 28:11 like straight from the teat. I don't know. True. And like sometimes on her hand, how does she get 28:11 it? Just like back of her hand. She just squirts it into her hand and then tastes it. She says it 28:19 goes from salty, which is like not anywhere near. She said Annie was super salty yesterday. And then 28:25 bland, which is like getting closer. And then sweet is like, baby. Yeah. Where did she say 28:33 she learned that from? So, she's worked on, if you haven't watched her video, I haven't watched 28:39 it myself to be honest. I need to go watch it. You could just ask her. Just ask Stephanie. She's 28:49 worked on multiple breeding farms. How old is she? Because I saw some comments. I was looking at 29:02 some comments on like the YouTube video and some people were like, "How long has she been in this 29:02 business? She looks great." Yeah. And I was like, truly, how long has she been in this business? 29:11 Because, how has she lived so many lives? I mean, nobody would believe she's like 45. Stop it. That 29:19 wasn't me. That was all him. You'll never know. Not my secret to tell. She certainly doesn't look 29:26 45. Well, she does not look 45. No, that I can say for sure. Or she's just like, so today, which 29:36 y'all will see later, she rode Molly for the first time and it's just like aura beaming off of her, 29:43 you know? And she's like, I say this all the time, she's cool as hell. She's my barn crush. Like, 29:48 it's fine. Literally, she's cool. It's fine. I have issues. Should we do another game of who is 29:55 this animal and see if Lindsay knows who they are? Oh yeah, let's try it because I've been messing 30:01 up. You've been messing up? Yeah, I freaking called Kennedy Ginger. All right. I also called 30:08 Waylon Ginger. I'm going to screenshot these as I go this time so that it's nice and easy. I'll send 30:17 them to Nate. Okay, we're going to end today's episode with seeing how far you've come by working 30:24 here and if you know some of these animals, okay? Because you should. I'm worried. You should at 30:30 this point. I'm very worried. So, who is, and mind you, these are going to come up on the screen, 30:35 who is this? Can you zoom in on the nose? That's Erlene. 30:51 Hold on. Who's the other one that I mixed up? Is it Erlene? I believe it's Erlene. Okay. I mean, 31:03 it is. She's got the little freckles. She got the little freckles. Who's this? 31:14 I want to say Maggie, but I don't think so. I actually don't know from that photo. I actually 31:20 think it's Maggie. Is it Maggie? It could be Kimmy. Who is it? You've been doing so well. 31:30 I really think it's Maggie, but it could be like, it's not Maggie. Is it Beyonce? It is 31:34 not Beyonce. Let me see one more time. Maggie and Beyonce. Rikki. It is Rikki. Got it. It is 31:45 Rikki. It had to be a new one because she didn't look familiar. But the thing is, 31:49 her face is like a little bit tilted up. The sun. All righty. Let's go into a different species, 31:59 shall we? Oh, heck. Shall we? Watch her show me like Blanche and I'll be like Dorothy. I think I 32:07 could get those. Could you? Who's that? Hold on. Give her a second. Pumpkin. Oh, 32:15 yeah. She's right on that one. Pumpkin. That's Punk. She was right on that one. That's Lil' 32:20 Punk. That's that little punk. Little punk. Okay. This is going to be hard. Oh, 32:28 no. For both of us or just me? Both. I'm going to be so shocked if either one of you gets this. Is 32:36 it one that's like, so this is one that I am going to give them. Like, I doubt they know. Okay. 32:46 Melody. I knew you were going to get it because we gave her a shot last night together. Also, 32:53 she looked a little grimy. I mean, I certainly would have guessed one of the new ones. She 32:58 looked grimy. I might have accidentally called her Melanie. We don't have a Melanie, do we? We do not 33:06 have a Melanie. What's the other one? Melody. The other one. Kimberly. Kimberly. Kimberly. 33:11 She has the star. Okay. Kimberly, not Melanie. I'm literally just going through my camera roll 33:21 from like the recent pictures. Give me, I'm not going to give you who you want. I know. Give me a, 33:31 okay, this was kind of difficult I feel like because it doesn't show everything. Okay. 33:44 Who is it? Okay, the lighting's kind of tripping me up because it could be. Is that Indie? It is not. 33:51 It's Raven. What the, where's the little thing on her side? It's right there. Oh, I didn't see it. 34:00 The lighting from far away. But I could tell that without the thing. You have owned these horses 34:08 forever. You've only had Raven for two years. That's too long. Two more years around her than 34:14 me. You've been here almost a year, girl. Oh, 34:19 okay. So one more year longer than me. Now, this 34:26 is, you're going to both get this. I just want to show it because she's so fat. By me saying that 34:35 description, who's it going to be? There's many that it could be. You call a lot of the mares fat. 34:35 Who do you think? It's going to be Karen. Regina. 34:44 She's just so fat. She's due in, what? June. So her due date is July 7th, but she had George 34:53 at like day 313 or something like that. July. Yeah. So I think it's going to be June. Like, 34:59 yeah. I think she did that with her first baby before. Maybe on your birthday. Little 35:04 birthday baby. Maybe. And then I guess we'll just kind of end on this last one. Let me 35:12 make it a good one. Make it hard. Okay. I know how to make it hard. Don't clip that. 35:30 Well, they weren't going to. Now they're going to. Hold on. I know what I need to do. Who's that? 35:43 Not Gracie. You said not Gracie. It's not. Let me see again. I'm 35:54 trying to remember Opal's nose. Opal has more pink on her nose, I'm pretty sure. 36:00 I think that is Opal. Is it? It's Opal. It is Opal. Whatever it 36:08 is. Okay, y'all passed. Hope you enjoyed today's 36:14 episode. I'm so sorry if it was kind of like low energy. Can I say I have a smoker's voice today? 36:24 It can certainly be said. Do you think that it will offend the smokers in my comment section if 36:31 they get offended by that? Look, we don't, bro, there's just going to be pearl clutchers in the 36:31 comments. You know, my voice is just going through it, and so it's just a little bit low energy. 36:34 I'm sorry. We're all tired. But I hope you know, for those wanting a little bit more insight on 36:44 Maggie's situation, you got it. We're really, really happy that she and baby are here 36:54 with us. We're going to keep our prayers up, keep our positive thoughts up. Hopefully we 36:54 have another healthy baby by the end of the weekend. We need to go to sleep anyway. See y'all in the next one. Bye. See you later.
