<v Speaker 1>You're listening to the Major Pod Network, the only place
<v Speaker 1>where your favorite toy store, bar, arcade, and arena are
<v Speaker 1>all on the same block. Scratch that major itch.
<v Speaker 2>Hello and welcome to another edition of The Major Rewind.
<v Speaker 2>I am your host, Jay George, and The Major Rewind
<v Speaker 2>is in fact what it is. It is a recap,
<v Speaker 2>a best of No, it's a little more than that.
<v Speaker 2>It is me taking some of the most classic ultimate
<v Speaker 2>Major moments from the major wrestling figure podcasts Rich rich History,
<v Speaker 2>and I put it together for new and old Major
<v Speaker 2>marks to enjoy. And we got a doozy of an episode.
<v Speaker 2>We have another return to last year's Toy Drive featuring
<v Speaker 2>one of my favorite wrestlers right now. Of course everyone's
<v Speaker 2>favorite wrestler, the Ali Catch is here answering your questions
<v Speaker 2>face to face. Man up or shut Up? And we
<v Speaker 2>got a more Q and DA. We got an incarnation
<v Speaker 2>of the l O D from one of the old
<v Speaker 2>school episodes. We want retros, and we also have the
<v Speaker 2>intro from last year's Toy Drive where they start to
<v Speaker 2>show off hot.
<v Speaker 3>Br every single week use the hashtag Major BBR. If
<v Speaker 3>we choose your picture or video, we'll give you a
<v Speaker 3>little prize.
<v Speaker 4>This one.
<v Speaker 3>I just had to pick it at mister Egans, you're
<v Speaker 3>a post workout. It's just a picture of a beer
<v Speaker 3>hashtag game to BBR want them.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know if I agree with that, but was
<v Speaker 4>that man's one? There's no protein once he had it's
<v Speaker 4>a protein but thing to do. All right, let's get
<v Speaker 4>to the news first. That the one of three thousand
<v Speaker 4>hook it's on the big screen. You can follow along
<v Speaker 4>on with. You do have some live visuals for yours
<v Speaker 4>here where is this a shop a w exclusive? But
<v Speaker 4>this is the one that like last month people found
<v Speaker 4>a retail so a couple of cases slipped out. Oh
<v Speaker 4>that would happened. Yeah, but now you can get it
<v Speaker 4>and where it's supposed to be. What is so different
<v Speaker 4>about it makes it more expensive? Packaging, that's it. And
<v Speaker 4>he's got a soft Goods shirt there they all they
<v Speaker 4>all have unique packaging.
<v Speaker 5>And there are four different hooks now hook housing a regular.
<v Speaker 4>One the ring side in this two choices.
<v Speaker 5>You said, that's five hooks.
<v Speaker 4>That's pretty good. That's a fiver. But that's like a
<v Speaker 4>re release though, isn't it the figure itself? Yeah, that's
<v Speaker 4>the similar, very similar, Yeah, yeah, the figure. Wait, maybe
<v Speaker 4>the boots were black and instead of white. I don't know.
<v Speaker 3>Also, Randy from Neka opened up his own vintage toy
<v Speaker 3>store in New Jersey.
<v Speaker 4>Check it out Yester Toys. Sexy Randy. We got to
<v Speaker 4>where do That was the only picture we could find, Like,
<v Speaker 4>what is that? That was the picture that was on
<v Speaker 4>like the article. Really Yeah, they're still setting up the
<v Speaker 4>star apparently.
<v Speaker 3>Well, if you live in the New Jersey area, which
<v Speaker 3>we all do, Uh, check out another vintage toy store
<v Speaker 3>in the area of Yestery.
<v Speaker 4>Cool dude, he's the best have you ever go to
<v Speaker 4>like a comic con or something. He's always always there
<v Speaker 4>and he always wants to He's a cool dude to
<v Speaker 4>talk to you very booth. Yeah, approach him. Yes, the
<v Speaker 4>toys in Chatham, New Jersey just made up of town Chatham, Chatham, Chatham,
<v Speaker 4>New Jersey. Tell him the major pobenty. Uh.
<v Speaker 3>If you're into Bibleheads, Foco just showed up a US
<v Speaker 3>A Warrior.
<v Speaker 4>It actually looks pretty cool. He's like run into the
<v Speaker 4>Ring limited of two and twenty three. I love how
<v Speaker 4>to get one of their rest That's one of their
<v Speaker 4>best ones for sure. I like the action posed ones
<v Speaker 4>they do. The standstill ones are kind of hit or miss. Uh,
<v Speaker 4>this is big guys. You've been asking for Super seven updates. Wait,
<v Speaker 4>we got some updates. There's the Brian Myers. Uh, here's
<v Speaker 4>the me.
<v Speaker 3>There are still some corrections that need to be made.
<v Speaker 3>We had Psycho de Freedom analyze it.
<v Speaker 4>But there's ones like even I could catch, like I
<v Speaker 4>have two McKenzie tattoos. I was like, that needs to
<v Speaker 4>be fixed. That's like, ultimately one of the most important
<v Speaker 4>things about it.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, none of mine were that. None of mine were
<v Speaker 3>that drastic, just like minor, minor things. There's no way these.
<v Speaker 4>Are coming in like February, like they said.
<v Speaker 3>No way, I'll give you myt a chance. But listen,
<v Speaker 3>we're just as frustrated as you guys are. So, I mean,
<v Speaker 3>we're it's not our toy line.
<v Speaker 4>But like if we just said yeah ship shape, they
<v Speaker 4>have been done, but it's like we can't.
<v Speaker 3>We want these to be as perfect as possible. So
<v Speaker 3>we set all the freedoms corrections.
<v Speaker 4>Which were psycho notes but obviously but we important things.
<v Speaker 4>I think we'll get done. I hope.
<v Speaker 3>So let's see what happens. Leo Sparrow just texted me.
<v Speaker 3>He said, you skip power Town. All right, this is
<v Speaker 3>a recording. Yeah, thanks Leo, power Power Powertown serious too.
<v Speaker 3>It's funny because last week we talked about how Powertown
<v Speaker 3>lost all their momentum.
<v Speaker 4>They must have heard us, and I don't. I don't
<v Speaker 4>know because I talked to people from there like daily,
<v Speaker 4>and I was shocked that this came when it did,
<v Speaker 4>because they even I didn't know, right, So I don't know.
<v Speaker 5>It was a cool video that they did too. It
<v Speaker 5>was a really good marketing thing, very cool. They had
<v Speaker 5>a cool like announcer do it, and then they announced
<v Speaker 5>the wrestlers. I I was that's the guy that I
<v Speaker 5>just know because I know so much.
<v Speaker 4>That's the guy edits the videos. That's his voice. Yes,
<v Speaker 4>that's a cool unique voice. Let's say he was a
<v Speaker 4>multichool wrestling People aren't here, aren't seeing the video.
<v Speaker 3>It's a Dori phone, Junior, Jack Risco, Wahoo, MC daniel, Junkyard, Dog,
<v Speaker 3>Medusa and Kamala.
<v Speaker 4>So I think a pretty cool lineup. Yeah, I think
<v Speaker 4>it's great. I don't know how.
<v Speaker 3>They're doing Medusa because she has a Legends deal, so
<v Speaker 3>I feel like she might get pulled.
<v Speaker 5>Maybe just stop saying that.
<v Speaker 4>Wow, my thing is her legend stuff is a Lundra
<v Speaker 4>blaze maybe and maybe she can do this stuff. Maybe,
<v Speaker 4>I don't know. I'm speculating. Yeah, we don't. We don't
<v Speaker 4>know the terms of we're conscious, right, Yeah, what were you?
<v Speaker 4>What'd you think of the line up? Well? What do
<v Speaker 4>you think?
<v Speaker 5>I think it's great?
<v Speaker 4>Like, I know, I'm weird where I'm like, you are
<v Speaker 4>story funk Junior. That rules, But there's probably the majority
<v Speaker 4>of people not doing that, you know what I mean? Like,
<v Speaker 4>I think that's.
<v Speaker 5>Cool, right, I mean the people that want these figures.
<v Speaker 4>Probably their market.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, yeah, it's perfect.
<v Speaker 4>I think the Junkyard dogs would be cool. At first,
<v Speaker 4>I was like, man, it tells me so many But
<v Speaker 4>I'm like, wait, this could be like a mid South one.
<v Speaker 4>It could be a little different. I was like, that's cool.
<v Speaker 4>The only one other thing is Kamala, Like, how can
<v Speaker 4>they make that?
<v Speaker 3>I just think it'll be the most toytic, It'll be bigger,
<v Speaker 3>hopefully it's taller, a little a little thicker.
<v Speaker 4>That's the only one. Maybe some success, maybe soft goods.
<v Speaker 4>I guess. Overall, my thought is they have all they
<v Speaker 4>have one hundred plus people, right, don't make people that
<v Speaker 4>would tell made three out of the six. That's like,
<v Speaker 4>give me the more Rando.
<v Speaker 5>Let's they can like a way different you know, time
<v Speaker 5>or you know or something.
<v Speaker 4>That's what That's what I said about Junker Drunk. It's possible, right,
<v Speaker 4>it's possible. I just wish we saw some actual like photos,
<v Speaker 4>not just photos of the individuals. Honestly, there's been no news.
<v Speaker 4>I'll take it Yahna choosing. We totally buried them last
<v Speaker 4>week and now they say for sure, listen, I want
<v Speaker 4>these figures to be great. I believe in the power
<v Speaker 4>Town line. We're involved with Powertown in the sense that
<v Speaker 4>we're signed. We're not like have no, it's kind in
<v Speaker 4>the game. But we do text with magnim t A.
<v Speaker 4>So you guys jealous about that pet Pale magnium t A.
<v Speaker 3>We got Major Bendy's Rings Exclusive Sergeant Slaughter is available now,
<v Speaker 3>not a pre order.
<v Speaker 4>It's in stock. We saw I saw it in the
<v Speaker 4>warehouse today.
<v Speaker 3>They finally got a Major Beddy. It's not a Ringsye collectible,
<v Speaker 3>so pick it up. Ringsye collectibles use discot code Major
<v Speaker 3>to say ten percent. Brian, I don't even know if
<v Speaker 3>you saw this somebody showed me they gary barbage. He
<v Speaker 3>found a prototype l.
<v Speaker 4>J n Jeorgie animal steel with an arm and a
<v Speaker 4>different pose. Oh ship, so I think they switched it.
<v Speaker 3>You know, if you look at the picture, if you
<v Speaker 3>watch on YouTube, the arm is like in front of
<v Speaker 3>him almost there's no way to put that in the package.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, you know what I'm saying, right, I think that's
<v Speaker 4>why they lowered his huge.
<v Speaker 3>This guy also found a wax head of Nikolai Volkov,
<v Speaker 3>and I'm like, ooh, that's definitely the artic those little
<v Speaker 3>articulated el.
<v Speaker 4>Jands I have.
<v Speaker 3>And then right there look at an articulated Nikolai Volkov,
<v Speaker 3>and I think that's the iron chic I have. If
<v Speaker 3>that's not the exact iron chic they there's there's more
<v Speaker 3>than one out there then, because I have that figure.
<v Speaker 4>Yea articulated Yeah, so fucking wild. Do you wrestle Nicola
<v Speaker 4>birthday party?
<v Speaker 5>Did tell it? In this very building?
<v Speaker 4>Did you win? No? I was on the road or something,
<v Speaker 4>And then pet Buk was like, yeah, Nikolai Volkov wrestled
<v Speaker 4>this birthday party at cat I.
<v Speaker 5>Was like, unbelievable. He just walked in and sandals and
<v Speaker 5>I think that he was friends with I don't know
<v Speaker 5>if he knew the dad or something like that. And
<v Speaker 5>then the word just got back that he wanted to wrestle,
<v Speaker 5>and we were just like, okay, let's let's go. And
<v Speaker 5>then I wanted to make sure that I was in
<v Speaker 5>the ring when when he came in, because he just
<v Speaker 5>came in to shine up real quick, you know, right,
<v Speaker 5>and I just I'm like, I'm in first, because no
<v Speaker 5>matter what, I'm taking something from Nikolay so I can
<v Speaker 5>say that I wrestled Nickolai Volga.
<v Speaker 4>Was it Russian nick Lai or like million dollar Corporation
<v Speaker 4>City of.
<v Speaker 5>Scent logo, babyfaced Nikola. He came in, He's sang the
<v Speaker 5>national anthem for the America for the birthday party, I hope.
<v Speaker 3>So yeah, all right, And speaking of elegans, our new
<v Speaker 3>toy line, Big Rubber Guys. This Friday, two week preorder
<v Speaker 3>the British Bulldogs, Davy boy Smith, Dynamite Kid and Matilda.
<v Speaker 3>We're really excited about that. Thanks for everyone, to everyone
<v Speaker 3>who ordered Demolition, who got the matt and Bryant, who
<v Speaker 3>got the Flair, the Slaughter Jetti. Those are gonna be
<v Speaker 3>in stock in early January the Macho Andre and then
<v Speaker 3>we've been planning twenty twenty four signing. Guys, we're not
<v Speaker 3>gonna reveal that when we're signing and do this BS
<v Speaker 3>hype stuff.
<v Speaker 4>I just wanted to be. Demolition is like spread a
<v Speaker 4>lot of love. It's pretty cool. Yes, people they're like,
<v Speaker 4>where can we get these? Well, you missed the order
<v Speaker 4>so which is also unfortunate. But I don't know. I
<v Speaker 4>don't have an answer to it. I think we need
<v Speaker 4>to get like an evergreen figure that's just always in stock.
<v Speaker 4>That's what I think.
<v Speaker 5>So I will tell you this a little anecdote. So
<v Speaker 5>I saw a friend of mine last night. He's he's
<v Speaker 5>a wrestler and he's a huge l JN guy. Okay,
<v Speaker 5>he has all the l jns. He's also like a customizer,
<v Speaker 5>so like he he for years has been making the
<v Speaker 5>figures that they didn't make R and he just does
<v Speaker 5>that as a hobby. And I asked him last I
<v Speaker 5>haven't seen him in a while, And I askedhim last night, like,
<v Speaker 5>what do you think about the big rubber guys? And
<v Speaker 5>he said, I haven't gotten any. I said why not?
<v Speaker 5>He said, I didn't know about him until the demolition, right, yeah,
<v Speaker 5>it's like and it's crazy to me that this he
<v Speaker 5>is the target audience, right right, and he did not
<v Speaker 5>know until demolition, and.
<v Speaker 3>That's unfortunate because he missed Flare Slaughter, Jannetti, Andre Macho.
<v Speaker 3>So hopefully these bulldogs are gonna have a huge order
<v Speaker 3>and then the guys in twenty twenty four.
<v Speaker 4>Should should we spoil the first lineup? R now? No? No, okay,
<v Speaker 4>sorry Boilers, No, sorry, sorry sorry. That card segment was
<v Speaker 4>a massacre. I thought it was a phenomenal segment.
<v Speaker 3>Blood Beth, yeah, blood bet Oh.
<v Speaker 4>But on the thousand dollar Broski and your figures will
<v Speaker 4>be bought.
<v Speaker 3>Alright, Guys, Major bendis major podmerge dot com. Use the
<v Speaker 3>hashtag major Bendies. If we choose your picture or video,
<v Speaker 3>you'll get exclusive Major Bendy's card. This one comes from
<v Speaker 3>Jerry Damage. This is what my major benties do in
<v Speaker 3>their free time. Hashtag major Benty's hashtag wrestle Fest. It's
<v Speaker 3>me Mark and Brian playing like a wrestle Fest arcade game.
<v Speaker 4>It was pretty damn cool. That's pretty cool, pretty damn
<v Speaker 4>cool man.
<v Speaker 3>All right, So not that many weekly purchases I got the.
<v Speaker 4>Figure collections, fie figure, Did you get it? I was.
<v Speaker 4>I did an unboxing on YouTube. That's actually that's not on
<v Speaker 4>YouTube right now. Great job, it's actually pretty damn cool.
<v Speaker 4>I was impressed with it. I've seen it in the
<v Speaker 4>group from the major market. It looks great. It looks great.
<v Speaker 3>I got the regular one, not the the variant. I
<v Speaker 3>think maybe they captured his life is better than we
<v Speaker 3>did in the face, but I think we'd have a
<v Speaker 3>better jacket. They gave him no spikes, all studs, but
<v Speaker 3>no spikes.
<v Speaker 4>The one thing is the hands are out if they're
<v Speaker 4>a little in like a slam. Yeah, I feel more
<v Speaker 4>has to me. But they nailed the fish nets. I
<v Speaker 4>thought it was pretty damn cool.
<v Speaker 3>I think I'm gonna I don't know if I'm gonna
<v Speaker 3>be complete us of those W s W figures, but
<v Speaker 3>the ones you want, I'm definitely gonna get the ones
<v Speaker 3>that I want. And you got you got Nicholas.
<v Speaker 4>Huh you build a Nicholas Nicholas guys, that set is
<v Speaker 4>uh head scratchy of a set. I like wanted to
<v Speaker 4>punch you Freedom in the face because I was like,
<v Speaker 4>oh you know what, like I'll keep rocking Sena, that's
<v Speaker 4>like the match that I trained Rock for and it
<v Speaker 4>was like really cool thing in my career. And he's like, well,
<v Speaker 4>it's complainingly wrong gear. I'm like, no way, and I
<v Speaker 4>looked it up. It's not what he wore, like, I
<v Speaker 4>went through pictures and I'm like, how did this happen?
<v Speaker 4>The back of the package says it's supposed to be
<v Speaker 4>that everything's so wrong mckena mash Oh my god, so frustrating.
<v Speaker 4>So I don't even really want it now. But anyway,
<v Speaker 4>building Nicholas is cool. I think it's a little uh,
<v Speaker 4>you know, to too long gets better late than ever, right,
<v Speaker 4>And it's cool, cool for me and you because we're
<v Speaker 4>you know, friendly with them and that's a great, you know,
<v Speaker 4>cool thing and a mile so it something you can basically,
<v Speaker 4>you know, never take away from him, right, whatever happens
<v Speaker 4>him in his life, you know, however old he is, right,
<v Speaker 4>it's great.
<v Speaker 5>But here's the question, did you make a Nicholas an?
<v Speaker 4>Let you take that that really bad Dax Hartwood had
<v Speaker 4>and put it on Nicklas. No, but I'm getting itchy.
<v Speaker 4>You gotta man, should we talk about the last thing
<v Speaker 4>that we purchased? Well, yeah, we need to disclaimer on this.
<v Speaker 4>What's the disclaimer? Like, I don't want this to come
<v Speaker 4>off like uh, because we'll make wrestling figures and then
<v Speaker 4>these are bendable wrestling figure. I don't want this to
<v Speaker 4>be like an attack or something. I mean, it's really
<v Speaker 4>not because they the people we can make and they
<v Speaker 4>can make are not So these are Bendoms. They're not
<v Speaker 4>an They're not a contituation of the Just Toys Bendoms,
<v Speaker 4>same name. They're much bigger, much bigger.
<v Speaker 3>TCG is the company now, I guess they have the
<v Speaker 3>Bendams name. So there's a bunch, there's there's there's old
<v Speaker 3>school guys, there's new school guys. They're very affordable though,
<v Speaker 3>you know, they're like five bucks on ringside, I think
<v Speaker 3>for six bucks. And then there's Multiman packs. There's a
<v Speaker 3>Brutos Martino.
<v Speaker 4>All the kids are clamoring for Bruno under the under
<v Speaker 4>their tree. This Christ. I like bendable figures. I have
<v Speaker 4>the l J N ones, I have the w CW ones,
<v Speaker 4>but these fucking suck. Okay does anyone else have these?
<v Speaker 4>This Amon has a fam, come on down.
<v Speaker 5>Aben Amon loves shitty figures.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, that's that's how bad. Yeah, amen, I believe posted
<v Speaker 4>in the group and you were the first one to
<v Speaker 4>show off the stands. And I was like, no fucking
<v Speaker 4>way is this true? And I had one, but I
<v Speaker 4>was saving it to open tonight. I was like, I
<v Speaker 4>gotta see this. There's a stand glued to the foot.
<v Speaker 4>And I tugged on this thing like pretty freaking hard.
<v Speaker 4>It does not come off, and just one foot and
<v Speaker 4>just one foot, which makes no sense. You're more likely
<v Speaker 4>to rip the foot off. But if this is like
<v Speaker 4>a novelty like discount item for kids, why on earth
<v Speaker 4>was you glue a stand to the foot.
<v Speaker 5>You can't even play with it, right, because this is
<v Speaker 5>for like I said that ringside, this is for a grandmother.
<v Speaker 4>You're gonna end up the five below, which is awesome, right,
<v Speaker 4>but then you can't play with it.
<v Speaker 5>It's just my kids to throw around in the yard
<v Speaker 5>and bang it to each other. The hogan you do
<v Speaker 5>need it, You need it.
<v Speaker 4>He's very completely try to rip it up.
<v Speaker 5>The oh I got it, guys, I got it.
<v Speaker 4>Oh my god, hey, I got it.
<v Speaker 5>And it's got I got it's got a little peg.
<v Speaker 5>It's playable, folks.
<v Speaker 4>That makes it even dumber.
<v Speaker 5>It is certainly not wants to.
<v Speaker 4>Come off the one kids in foco style with the
<v Speaker 4>Star Wars where theyre legally have to be glued to
<v Speaker 4>the stands because it doesn't make him figures. You know
<v Speaker 4>what I'm saying, That's what I think. Maybe like Mittel said, like,
<v Speaker 4>oh so you're not making figures.
<v Speaker 5>If you take it off the stand, like you can play.
<v Speaker 4>With that to pay with roy it to make it
<v Speaker 4>a figure. This is some questionable stuff like that they
<v Speaker 4>use a reference out of Austin when t wasn't connected
<v Speaker 4>any of us know, Like why, like that was such
<v Speaker 4>a little.
<v Speaker 5>Run, Like come on, I'm wild colorblind, but this is
<v Speaker 5>off color is really weird.
<v Speaker 4>He's like just got a sunburn. Maybe I would call it,
<v Speaker 4>but like for instance, La Puma collects Hogan.
<v Speaker 3>If you get this and I think it looks okay,
<v Speaker 3>maintain package and if it's on the standard stands perfectly,
<v Speaker 3>that'll look nice in your collection.
<v Speaker 4>Fine, fine, this is odd, Fine, but it's for kids.
<v Speaker 4>But my thing is it's for kids. You can't play
<v Speaker 4>with affordable item. It should be for kids to enjoy
<v Speaker 4>and play with. And you just had a grown man
<v Speaker 4>use all the strength of rip off the stand.
<v Speaker 5>Why did you buy them? Amen?
<v Speaker 4>I don't know, because you you like, you love shitty figures.
<v Speaker 4>I like bootlegs. I'll pretend they're okay, Yeah, that's how
<v Speaker 4>great there are. You're pretending that they're not real. If
<v Speaker 4>there's another set, are you gonna invest in? I didn't.
<v Speaker 5>I didn't buy the whole set, okay, just testing it out, just.
<v Speaker 4>Checking them out. I want to know why they're all
<v Speaker 4>doing the finn balor pose that too. There's like, yeah,
<v Speaker 4>there's nothing to really do. So you can't even play
<v Speaker 4>with these with your old bendoms or the major bend.
<v Speaker 4>They're way taller. They're shorter than like a gloob. Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>it's a weird gale. I don't want to be negative
<v Speaker 4>about them. That's why I had Almer on this. I
<v Speaker 4>wanted that little disclaimer so we don't seem like fucking asshole.
<v Speaker 4>I wanted to get them all. I wanted to collect them.
<v Speaker 4>I just they're just they sell Merry Christmas. There you go.
<v Speaker 3>I actually got that for me. I can't afford it's
<v Speaker 3>five bucks. Enjoyed Lapuma. Lapuma is not working over going
<v Speaker 3>for La. Puma's not coming to the next live show.
<v Speaker 3>It's too close to the holidays.
<v Speaker 4>You're going to live show? Right, Yeah, I'll be there.
<v Speaker 3>Thanks bro, I appreciate it. Have you missed any shows?
<v Speaker 3>Have you missed any live shows?
<v Speaker 4>Really?
<v Speaker 5>Vegas?
<v Speaker 4>You didn't get to. Not many people did. It was
<v Speaker 4>a come west coast, West coast, Okay, we do nobody
<v Speaker 4>shows up. I didn't go to the first three and
<v Speaker 4>they were all in driving distance. Damn, Oh my god.
<v Speaker 4>All right they were on weeknights. Yeah, you're right. All
<v Speaker 4>the war today? Oh true. Well thanks for coming, buddy,
<v Speaker 4>all right, thank you ear Ring mulligan. All right, well
<v Speaker 4>we're gonna skip Major Mark Purchase of the week because
<v Speaker 4>you know the last thing. Shout out to Keith Blackning.
<v Speaker 4>Sorry been up. Harry runs the QBC. The Queen's Baseball Convention. Wow,
<v Speaker 4>I wasn't able to be there because I was working
<v Speaker 4>for Swaggle. I have no idea who that is John
<v Speaker 4>Franco autograph lineup. Pretty sweet peace for.
<v Speaker 5>I got I got done. Major Mark Purchases Week one one,
<v Speaker 5>big one.
<v Speaker 4>You have a big one.
<v Speaker 5>Yes. The the Major Mark community came together the purchase
<v Speaker 5>over four thousand toys for kids for the Toys.
<v Speaker 4>For more than four thousand toys. It was over forty
<v Speaker 4>thousand dollars. Forty thousand dollars. Yeah, so great. Thanks for
<v Speaker 4>a watch of that art Watch the Mania not to Mania,
<v Speaker 4>all right?
<v Speaker 6>Well, the title Reign, Word Life, Carnation, the Incarnation of
<v Speaker 6>Domination is a weekly segment where we talk about our
<v Speaker 6>favorite versions.
<v Speaker 4>Of a certain superstar and it is my turn to
<v Speaker 4>try to stump you. And since we're in Chicago. Never
<v Speaker 4>done this, Never done it, l O D Do Road Warriors.
<v Speaker 4>So many great figs, there's no way we're gonna name
<v Speaker 4>them all. I think. I don't think it's that much.
<v Speaker 7>The Remcos were the first ones obviously, which I had
<v Speaker 7>as a kid, but like from getting from like a garage.
<v Speaker 4>Sale or something. There's also the three pack with Paul and.
<v Speaker 7>I didn't have like the soft goads and stuff, so
<v Speaker 7>I got them secondhand.
<v Speaker 4>The two pack comes to the titles and the three
<v Speaker 4>pack comes to Paul. You need both. You know what
<v Speaker 4>I'm saying, you need both.
<v Speaker 7>The has Bros Were elusive to me as a kid.
<v Speaker 7>I never had them like in the current time because
<v Speaker 7>they never found him. What Yeah, And I'd go to
<v Speaker 7>my friend Big Ruben's house to play with his and stuff.
<v Speaker 4>I'll never forget getting them. They were in pretty sure.
<v Speaker 4>We had a house. We had a house. We had
<v Speaker 4>a room in my house call the TV room.
<v Speaker 7>I don't know why in the nineties people had the
<v Speaker 7>TV room, and.
<v Speaker 3>I got common walking into that room and then just
<v Speaker 3>being like sat in the couch like mid on card.
<v Speaker 4>They were just there as a gifts keeping the gap
<v Speaker 4>my mom or Bob one.
<v Speaker 7>Of the other I remember, like in the time, like
<v Speaker 7>being on the fake hunt for those so hard and
<v Speaker 7>I'm just a little kid, you know, I'm like six
<v Speaker 7>or whatever, but like going on the stores and just
<v Speaker 7>pegs and pegs and pegs and nasty boys would never llow.
<v Speaker 4>Dude, nasties were hard for me to find as well. Wow.
<v Speaker 4>But but to me, Hawk's hair was just it was
<v Speaker 4>too dark. It's like black.
<v Speaker 7>Yeah, it doesn't didn't bother me, still doesn't moment.
<v Speaker 4>But I loved he was jumping and doing the clothes line. Yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 4>and I guess it.
<v Speaker 7>An Am was good to play with it.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah. The spikes were not from the spike.
<v Speaker 7>Part was you had to use your little kiddie imagination
<v Speaker 7>to kind of get passed that, okay, But.
<v Speaker 3>Then when those Jacks Tag Team series won, uh came
<v Speaker 3>out movable spikes.
<v Speaker 4>The ho League bloom my mind, and they and they
<v Speaker 4>repainted those figures many times as the Shotgun Saturday Night.
<v Speaker 7>Which is still great. Arm changes and things like that.
<v Speaker 4>But but then there's the LOD two thousands.
<v Speaker 7>Yeah, I love them too. They get a little I
<v Speaker 7>think I feel like they get a little bit.
<v Speaker 4>Of a bad round years. But I don't understand why
<v Speaker 4>does Hawk have the shirt on? I don't know what
<v Speaker 4>you're saying that, Like, is there a photo of him
<v Speaker 4>wearing like like a singlet?
<v Speaker 7>I bet I would guess.
<v Speaker 4>I was going down this rabbit hole today trying to
<v Speaker 4>find it. I couldn't find it.
<v Speaker 3>But then I also discovered a variant of one of
<v Speaker 3>these LED two thousands where one is like a singlet
<v Speaker 3>top and ones like a V neck.
<v Speaker 4>It's like a tank top top and then a V neck. Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>I asked via JACKSBCA. He didn't know. David Anderson didn't know.
<v Speaker 4>That's pretty crazy. This is wild.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, But then that the first LG two thousand came
<v Speaker 3>in the four pack, which was awesome, like Attitude, and
<v Speaker 3>then you had to buy the right, which were re releases, but.
<v Speaker 7>Then those wound up coming out so many times.
<v Speaker 3>Right, but then you had to get him into tough
<v Speaker 3>the mask to get the helmets, get the helmets.
<v Speaker 7>I love those figures, and I think I've said in
<v Speaker 7>her a few times like, for whatever reason, in that
<v Speaker 7>era and playing with them and my fig fed, I
<v Speaker 7>gave like Animal this huge push.
<v Speaker 4>He was like my icy Champion.
<v Speaker 7>I don't know something about like he just looked cool
<v Speaker 7>and the kickpads and the bikers and he had a cool,
<v Speaker 7>uh cool vibe to him. I don't know.
<v Speaker 4>Then there's the the Jackson.
<v Speaker 7>When in actuality, like what they were doing on TV
<v Speaker 7>was pretty pretty lame.
<v Speaker 4>Then there's the ruthless aggression or that classic Superstar series
<v Speaker 4>owners you're also cool with the removable shoulder pads. But
<v Speaker 4>then there's like a bunch of weird choices that Jax makes, Like,
<v Speaker 4>for instance, there's one in the same set Animals from
<v Speaker 4>Led two thousand and Hawk is a road Warrior, and
<v Speaker 4>then they like make it seem like they're gonna flip
<v Speaker 4>flop it in a couple other sets, and they never
<v Speaker 4>make it. They never do it very bizarre.
<v Speaker 3>Eventually, they do make LG two thousand, like a three
<v Speaker 3>pack with Sonny. They make them in the Blue w
<v Speaker 3>C W And then Animal was on the main roster
<v Speaker 3>and had some.
<v Speaker 4>Figures, yeah, as Road the Road Road Warrior.
<v Speaker 7>Obviously, the motels are pretty impressive. Not a whole lot
<v Speaker 7>if you think about it. There's the original n W
<v Speaker 7>A style ones, which I really like those because there's, like,
<v Speaker 7>like we said, they don't really have any depiction of
<v Speaker 7>them in the history of figures because the a w
<v Speaker 7>as don't have shoulder pads.
<v Speaker 4>Right.
<v Speaker 7>Then the regular you know, iconic kind of w W
<v Speaker 7>style red.
<v Speaker 4>And those are the only figures that have the.
<v Speaker 7>Wrist spikes, which is really cool, you know, the risk
<v Speaker 7>s gauntlets or whatever you want to call them. And
<v Speaker 7>then finally they even made like you said, the blue
<v Speaker 7>the Blue w C basics, It was a bas It's
<v Speaker 7>very nice.
<v Speaker 4>We forgot the the just Toys bendoms, which is nice cool.
<v Speaker 7>I had the same thing shoulder pads stuck on, you
<v Speaker 7>know a little bit much.
<v Speaker 4>I think my favorite now, Bill, if you're listening, I
<v Speaker 4>will say the best are the motels, but my the
<v Speaker 4>Metel's and the red are the best. But my favorite
<v Speaker 4>are Tag Team Series one Led. I'm gonna go say
<v Speaker 4>it was just too ye Ros.
<v Speaker 7>I think tell TheMark well, I think the run of
<v Speaker 7>how long you didn't have Led with removal shoulder pads
<v Speaker 7>to finally get him?
<v Speaker 4>You know you just as a kid, you don't forget that.
<v Speaker 4>I agree. I do wish they were a little more jacked,
<v Speaker 4>but in that era of bone crutches, nobody was really
<v Speaker 4>that jacked yet. Yeah, that's fine.
<v Speaker 7>Wow, those are great, great toy characters in the history
<v Speaker 7>of ar wrestling. Uh, that's for sure.
<v Speaker 4>And I'm sure we're missing some figures, but we're not.
<v Speaker 7>Like Japanese like kind of trinkets and big head guy
<v Speaker 7>bone cuch.
<v Speaker 4>But these, oh my, you know what, I take back
<v Speaker 4>my pick.
<v Speaker 7>You're gonna take it. Pick an LED thousand because that
<v Speaker 7>would be.
<v Speaker 4>I'm picking the Legia Doom wrestling buddies. Oh I didn't
<v Speaker 4>have those, kid either.
<v Speaker 7>What Yeah, I didn't have any serious two buddies and
<v Speaker 7>I don't remember seeing the stores or I my one
<v Speaker 7>friend had them.
<v Speaker 4>But yeah, my Lesia Doom Wrestling buddies are like as
<v Speaker 4>flat as a pancake right now, as flat as ibars.
<v Speaker 7>But ouch, I have I have since got them, and
<v Speaker 7>I have them like pretty much like immaculate.
<v Speaker 4>But you don't have anybody else I know I have.
<v Speaker 7>I have Warrior, I have Savage Hogan and Led maybe
<v Speaker 7>those five. And I don't know, I don't even know
<v Speaker 7>want to doing it there in my attic complete it, baby,
<v Speaker 7>I don't, I don't. I don't feel like. Oh and
<v Speaker 7>I bought Boss went and gave it to Papa Bear
<v Speaker 7>because he's a cop.
<v Speaker 4>But I thought it was funny.
<v Speaker 7>That was a waste of a very expensive gift.
<v Speaker 4>Anyway, all right, up next is the hashtag we want
<v Speaker 4>retros Fantasy figure of the week. All right, the retros
<v Speaker 4>are on Long Island. I z they're on a hiatus.
<v Speaker 3>Actually, some fan came to the live major of Pod
<v Speaker 3>four had a retro ring he wants to sign.
<v Speaker 4>I even personalized it, wrote, Hey Mattel, we want retros.
<v Speaker 4>We really do, and it's your turn to uh, not
<v Speaker 4>to stop me, but but have us discuss something.
<v Speaker 7>I like to keep sticking, or at least maybe I'm
<v Speaker 7>just stuck here. I keep going with some modern day guys. Okay,
<v Speaker 7>good friend of ours, a guy who probably would still
<v Speaker 7>have not spoken a word to anyone in locker room
<v Speaker 7>unless you befriended him. Clories, mister Robert Rude. He was
<v Speaker 7>a little little hot streak of getting figures for a while.
<v Speaker 4>It's kind of cool, NXT guy, that's true. Yeah, oh
<v Speaker 4>we've radther metch that someone gave us Bill mckita's craig.
<v Speaker 8>It was a good rubber NXT basically, Phil he goes,
<v Speaker 8>this is Bill mckina's great is pretty awesome moment and
<v Speaker 8>got a huge pop out of both of us.
<v Speaker 4>Man. But yeah, you know, in the.
<v Speaker 7>Way the line was going, I can just so easily
<v Speaker 7>see a Bobby Rude. I would love white boots because
<v Speaker 7>I think it pops a little bit more.
<v Speaker 4>What what action is he doing?
<v Speaker 7>Maybe reverse the slam so his hands go up and
<v Speaker 7>he's doing his glorious pose.
<v Speaker 4>That's cool. There we go. So you're just making up
<v Speaker 4>an action though, Okay, yeah I am, but that would
<v Speaker 4>be great. Or if he's a clothesline, you could like
<v Speaker 4>tilt the arm down and do like the glorious DDT. Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>I guess not my first the robe's not coming es
<v Speaker 4>not going much.
<v Speaker 7>Yeah, it'd be great if he lift his arms up
<v Speaker 7>there you go somehow.
<v Speaker 4>Or if he's like the town cutting his arms already out.
<v Speaker 7>Or something like that, that could work. Possibly, that's not bad.
<v Speaker 7>That's a good, good little in the trend that was going,
<v Speaker 7>they would have made a Bobby.
<v Speaker 5>Dollars worth of toys and or we want to donate
<v Speaker 5>way more happy holidays.
<v Speaker 4>You got to pick this week, But I don't know.
<v Speaker 7>This has become like the secret seguencey. You don't even
<v Speaker 7>give me a heads up on it anymore.
<v Speaker 3>This is I'm going to pick the Austin, but there's
<v Speaker 3>three of them, the WW Wall Talkers.
<v Speaker 7>Did you have any of these? So what that's famous
<v Speaker 7>to me? You know, I'm gonna say no. From Beyond
<v Speaker 7>the Mat, okay, I don't know how many times have
<v Speaker 7>you seen Beyond the Mat.
<v Speaker 4>I haven't seen it in ten years at least. What
<v Speaker 4>when you just watch every year? I don't know.
<v Speaker 7>I watched it so much it's like it's ingrained in
<v Speaker 7>my head. But in Beyond the Mat, they have like
<v Speaker 7>a not a production meeting, but they have like a
<v Speaker 7>sales pitch, like a merchandise meeting that they record from
<v Speaker 7>Titan Towers, and Vince is overseeing. They're showing Vince all
<v Speaker 7>this merch okay, and they're giving them the numbers about
<v Speaker 7>how you know, the attitude or numbers are just kicking
<v Speaker 7>ass or whatever and selling everything and they show that the.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, so there's three. There's Austin Sable and Undertaker. Uh
<v Speaker 3>this is by mg A Sports. So really what it is?
<v Speaker 3>It's like, it's ridiculous. It's a framed three D photo
<v Speaker 3>of Stone.
<v Speaker 7>Cold and his eyes and mouth and uh lit, I mean,
<v Speaker 7>I don't know what.
<v Speaker 3>Watch your step message activated as you walk by, wave
<v Speaker 3>your hand in front of sensor.
<v Speaker 4>Try me.
<v Speaker 3>Now, what's weird is that on the top of the
<v Speaker 3>package it says this the three D picture that tells
<v Speaker 3>you where to get off.
<v Speaker 4>That's not that's not good. That doesn't that doesn't age well,
<v Speaker 4>that doesn't age well. I mean, did you have these? No?
<v Speaker 4>But I feel like I recall saying that, like maybe
<v Speaker 4>it's always just sitting there forever. I just feel like
<v Speaker 4>for someone to have this and actually hang this in
<v Speaker 4>their home, it's just ribbing themselves. I think this is
<v Speaker 4>such like a WT It's like an ultimate that I
<v Speaker 4>think I could like like stomp. I can appreciate it now.
<v Speaker 4>I think if there's a cheap Austin online right now,
<v Speaker 4>I'll do a live by.
<v Speaker 7>I kind of agree with you that it's so dumb
<v Speaker 7>and old now that it's age to where I.
<v Speaker 3>Couldn't find the back of the box for sable or taker.
<v Speaker 3>But Austin says stone cold Steve. Aouston's eyes follow the
<v Speaker 3>direction of the object person that generates to the voice response.
<v Speaker 7>So there's obviously some kind of like sensor. So like
<v Speaker 7>if you were to hang this in your wall and
<v Speaker 7>you walk past the hallways.
<v Speaker 4>Like oh your son, no, I will say this treatment
<v Speaker 4>like a dog, and you expect me to smile, man,
<v Speaker 4>quit your cross.
<v Speaker 3>So I'm not about to give your something a crab out.
<v Speaker 3>That's not a good Austin impression. But that's the bottom
<v Speaker 3>of mar Stone Gold.
<v Speaker 4>That's so.
<v Speaker 3>And then on the back Austin's wearing the uh ozzy
<v Speaker 3>osboard Brett Hart ww glasses.
<v Speaker 4>Oh that's a good picture. So if there's a.
<v Speaker 3>Live I'll do a live purchase right now on eBay.
<v Speaker 3>I actually have eBay bucks right now, so I can
<v Speaker 3>do it. Wow WWF wall talkers. Let's see here. What
<v Speaker 3>do you think they're going for?
<v Speaker 7>I think you get this for twenty five ships really
<v Speaker 7>be my guess.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, wall ww wall WWF sorry wall talkers, bro. Let's
<v Speaker 3>go to first. Let's go to lowest price and shipping. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>you gotta do that now, I want it Minski in
<v Speaker 3>the package. Okay, there's an Austin fifteen ninety nine nine
<v Speaker 3>oh six shipping.
<v Speaker 4>That's right, I nailed it in the head. But the
<v Speaker 4>boxes all beat up, like I feel like you guys.
<v Speaker 4>Just put batteries and then take it out. That's it.
<v Speaker 4>Oh man, he's good to go. You think so that
<v Speaker 4>puppy's good to go. Let me read the description first
<v Speaker 4>and see what it says. This is a very cautionary purchase.
<v Speaker 4>You ever see a raven ww shirt? Never in my
<v Speaker 4>life I have? Where did that come from? I know
<v Speaker 4>I need? All Right, guys, I'm gonna do a live
<v Speaker 4>purchase right now. I'm doing for you. I did it
<v Speaker 4>for the people. I did it, but oh something went
<v Speaker 4>wrong with checkout? What hi? Now?
<v Speaker 7>H on?
<v Speaker 4>Here we go. I'll earn sixteen cents an eBay bucks.
<v Speaker 4>I thought there's a ten percent going on right now.
<v Speaker 4>It might be on like certain stuff.
<v Speaker 3>That's me Yes, that's the BS Express. Let me just
<v Speaker 3>purchase now. I'll put in the PayPal password. Brian, do
<v Speaker 3>you know the PayPal password to the major post?
<v Speaker 4>I don't know, you know the email? Being serious? Holy,
<v Speaker 4>that's like when I told you that, oh, zombies coming
<v Speaker 4>in and you're like what. I'm like, dude, you not
<v Speaker 4>read anything.
<v Speaker 7>Sometimes you're just gonna check out and be a dad
<v Speaker 7>going a frozen two when I get home.
<v Speaker 4>I'm very excited about that. When did that come out Friday?
<v Speaker 4>Last Friday? Tell me how it is? Actually? I want
<v Speaker 4>to see. I heard it broke all sorts of box
<v Speaker 4>office records.
<v Speaker 7>How about I mean, this is very sidetracked while you're purchasing.
<v Speaker 7>Raven said, doing his live incarnation of Domination, what he
<v Speaker 7>thought had the best like this of them? Do you
<v Speaker 7>remember the grip and flip? Isn't that the most random?
<v Speaker 7>And I guess the head if that's all we're talking about.
<v Speaker 3>My favorite part of that segment was when we gave
<v Speaker 3>him like the Sunday night heat figures.
<v Speaker 4>All this makes sense because I had a lot of heat.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, all right, so I'm purchasing this this Austin.
<v Speaker 4>I guess I'll be able to talk about a weekly
<v Speaker 4>purchases next week. All right, Well, up next is the
<v Speaker 4>Q and A. All right, guys, Every week the Q
<v Speaker 4>and A asking a question on Twitter at major Pod
<v Speaker 4>with the hashtag ask major pod if we read your
<v Speaker 4>question on it and we will send you the coveted
<v Speaker 4>best wishes A by ten And you know what, we
<v Speaker 4>have all these extra live major w f Pod for
<v Speaker 4>a tens because you bare minimum, you did, you did good?
<v Speaker 4>You order too many.
<v Speaker 7>I think I've just established a really good relationship with
<v Speaker 7>the place that does them, and.
<v Speaker 4>They're just hooking us up, all right, So we don't
<v Speaker 4>want to, I guess, throw him out, so we'll give
<v Speaker 4>me away, Give it away, give it away.
<v Speaker 7>My question is from Michael Limpuma at Limpuma m hashtag
<v Speaker 7>ask major Pod. Can you guys do an interview with Zombie?
<v Speaker 7>I think a lot of listeners would love to know
<v Speaker 7>his story and how he became. So I picked this
<v Speaker 7>because I was thinking about it, like like you said,
<v Speaker 7>I also didn't know he's coming to dinner because I
<v Speaker 7>just don't pay attention. But we wound up like interviewing
<v Speaker 7>him at dinner because he is so interesting and what
<v Speaker 7>he does is so interesting and how he does it.
<v Speaker 7>I think the big glaring problem would be that he's
<v Speaker 7>such a little magician. I don't think he'd want a
<v Speaker 7>lot of his secrets to get out there. So I mean,
<v Speaker 7>I'm sure there's a way where we could do it
<v Speaker 7>and make it entertaining, but that would be the biggest hurdle.
<v Speaker 4>I'd say. I've met Zombie.
<v Speaker 3>I met him a couple of years ago when he
<v Speaker 3>had the Case Fresh Hasbros. And now years later he
<v Speaker 3>is a case Fresh Goes. He makes all our merch.
<v Speaker 3>This is only job so that that's what he drives
<v Speaker 3>a very nice car. Yeah, and he bought us dinner.
<v Speaker 4>Picks up a very expensive steak dinner. See.
<v Speaker 3>I would love to interview Zombie. We did John from Ringside.
<v Speaker 3>I'd love to interview Zombies.
<v Speaker 4>That's what I'm saying.
<v Speaker 7>It would be along those lines with somebody who's in
<v Speaker 7>the wrestling figure industry that has an interesting story and
<v Speaker 7>interesting tales to tell.
<v Speaker 4>You know.
<v Speaker 3>All right, So Zombie, if you're listening, let's let's make
<v Speaker 3>that happen and we won't reveal all of your secrets.
<v Speaker 4>That was a very good question. People.
<v Speaker 7>When people first discover Zombies' Instagram and you're like a
<v Speaker 7>figure fan and this.
<v Speaker 4>Goes beyond just recipe.
<v Speaker 7>You kind of go like, whoa holy you know, he
<v Speaker 7>had that Masters the Universe stuff and people were losing
<v Speaker 7>their minds about it.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, this is from at Dan pn Guyan. When WW
<v Speaker 4>makes a Hall of Fame museum and they ask you
<v Speaker 4>to do curate the toy exhibit, how would you do it?
<v Speaker 4>What figure lines would you display, how would you organ
<v Speaker 4>as the sections, and what kind of overall story would
<v Speaker 4>you try to tell visitors.
<v Speaker 7>I think we already do that with our Hall of Fame.
<v Speaker 4>I think so in a way. In a way sure,
<v Speaker 4>I mean I would definitely start with some popies. And
<v Speaker 4>now this is like if I'm assuming that we have.
<v Speaker 7>It's not WW, it's just all of wrestling.
<v Speaker 4>Well WW is all of wrestling? Now, Well not when
<v Speaker 4>you're saying Pope's are off the bat, so you're saying
<v Speaker 4>just let me just read you see what I'm saying.
<v Speaker 4>So when WWE makes a Hall of Fame, so you're
<v Speaker 4>saying WW figures.
<v Speaker 7>Yeah, then you're talking just lgns yeah and on.
<v Speaker 4>So skipping like globes and stuff. That's the history.
<v Speaker 7>That's history within the company, is the way I'm reading that,
<v Speaker 7>not the industry.
<v Speaker 4>What are you doing.
<v Speaker 7>He just took a knee like he would know this,
<v Speaker 7>but like a football coach would ask you to take
<v Speaker 7>a d Yeah, that was the only time you've ever
<v Speaker 7>done that in your.
<v Speaker 4>Life, you know what.
<v Speaker 3>No, I would do the popies, and then I would
<v Speaker 3>do the rem gos and then the l j ns,
<v Speaker 3>and I would have them like almost. Uh see, it's
<v Speaker 3>really easy to do the whole sets of those. It
<v Speaker 3>just like nice like on display. It's gonna get tough, like, Okay,
<v Speaker 3>you can do the globes and the has arrows, but
<v Speaker 3>then when it gets to bone crunches.
<v Speaker 7>It's Mayhem's mass produced.
<v Speaker 4>May There's no way you could just people.
<v Speaker 7>Don't understand that, like you know, to have like the whatever,
<v Speaker 7>I guess four or five Cogans was like mind blowing
<v Speaker 7>right where most other guys didn't have any other guys
<v Speaker 7>sure you know so, I think I would be modern
<v Speaker 7>collector and is since that bone crunching era is a
<v Speaker 7>big difference.
<v Speaker 3>I think I would almost do it. How I do
<v Speaker 3>my toyroom. I have, Okay, all the popies, I have
<v Speaker 3>all you.
<v Speaker 7>Have them like an order, you're not putting on a
<v Speaker 7>chronological order. But in the case of the museum, I
<v Speaker 7>would exactly.
<v Speaker 3>And then for the bone Crunches, what I would do
<v Speaker 3>is the same thing I'd do with bone Crunchers. I
<v Speaker 3>would do one of each guy slash gimmicks. So for instance,
<v Speaker 3>for like a Bradshaw, he would have Blackdag Bradshaw and
<v Speaker 3>just log brad show be.
<v Speaker 4>A display for Austin.
<v Speaker 7>I even that's a lot, it's gonna be a lot.
<v Speaker 4>But then it's it's gonna be a crazy like would
<v Speaker 4>you display like every ruthless aggression? Like how big is
<v Speaker 4>this this toy section of the music. Yeah, it's a
<v Speaker 4>big wing.
<v Speaker 7>Like maybe it's it's the size of Colcbana's apartment.
<v Speaker 4>Maybe one thing you do, actually, maybe I take it back.
<v Speaker 3>Maybe you do a bunch of like incarnation of dominations,
<v Speaker 3>you know.
<v Speaker 4>You do like the Brett Harts.
<v Speaker 7>Well that's you're going down the same road we're going down.
<v Speaker 7>Though it's gonna just end up being so much, you know,
<v Speaker 7>but not if you.
<v Speaker 4>Do like one bred Heart, ljam one bread Hart has
<v Speaker 4>bro one bread Heart, bone Cruncher, one bread.
<v Speaker 7>One Hogan, one Savage of all these incarnations and then
<v Speaker 7>what then you have a ton of figures again.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, you have way less and if you only do
<v Speaker 4>like the top guys make all the triple hs.
<v Speaker 7>But those hey, those those Hawks, the Riders.
<v Speaker 4>He loves to the Rider Shrine. We're the curators of
<v Speaker 4>the museum. Very interesting question. I mean, I don't know
<v Speaker 4>if they'll ever be a museum.
<v Speaker 7>I do wonders over the years, talked about like a
<v Speaker 7>physical hall.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I really do want to get into their their
<v Speaker 3>warehouse wherever you want to call it, the vault, whatever
<v Speaker 3>it's called, and see what kind of figures they got
<v Speaker 3>down there.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, we'll do it one day. We have we
<v Speaker 4>have the connections. We don't know, I think, we don't think.
<v Speaker 7>So we've got John Cone, Texas right now at at
<v Speaker 7>midnight because he's playing with his Master's Universe guys in
<v Speaker 7>his hotel room.
<v Speaker 4>So better than playing with this hard deck. We're here
<v Speaker 4>for the Q and A. We're on a special guests
<v Speaker 4>Allie Catch, Yes, she's here, She's hello. Hello. Stick around
<v Speaker 4>after the show.
<v Speaker 3>Alli Cash will be taking pictures and signing major Bendy
<v Speaker 3>shells that she has.
<v Speaker 4>Guys, So do a little meeting and greet with Mavon
<v Speaker 4>and Ali.
<v Speaker 9>What's up, hey, y'all?
<v Speaker 4>Is this song You Gotta Jack?
<v Speaker 9>Oh, okay, sorry, thanks for coming.
<v Speaker 4>Having you won over the hearts of the major mark
<v Speaker 4>was there your bonus pod interview that was up.
<v Speaker 5>If you haven't listened to it yet a major Marx
<v Speaker 5>dot Com, make sure you do.
<v Speaker 4>Well.
<v Speaker 9>They've not won my heart yet because I still do
<v Speaker 9>not have that Ricky Starks different tables at Wrestle cad nowhere.
<v Speaker 5>Damn John, do you still have that Ricky.
<v Speaker 4>Figure for Jack?
<v Speaker 9>It's not the one.
<v Speaker 4>It's the chase, the chase, the chase.
<v Speaker 3>Hello, Rick's not collect That's why she came.
<v Speaker 4>That's right, all right. So Ali, this is the part
<v Speaker 4>of the show. We do a little Q and A,
<v Speaker 4>but you do you have anything to plug before we
<v Speaker 4>do the Q and anything?
<v Speaker 3>You want to plug? You want to tell hey, my
<v Speaker 3>parents here. You want to explain what Bussy is, what
<v Speaker 3>the significance.
<v Speaker 4>Of the.
<v Speaker 9>Did you train him to do the chair shots because
<v Speaker 9>they're phenomenal?
<v Speaker 4>Actually did truly did.
<v Speaker 9>The way it wrapped around Jimmy's said, yeah, thank you, amazing.
<v Speaker 9>Bussy is a tag team sold a lot of Bendy's.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, j P. G Ally, I appreciate it. I got you.
<v Speaker 4>You actually were the highest selling Bendy in that set.
<v Speaker 4>I did not. We don't want to urt his feelings. YouTube.
<v Speaker 4>You can hurt his feelings like that. It's fine.
<v Speaker 3>There's already somebody who is trying to get an exclusive
<v Speaker 3>of you and Fi and that c P paint.
<v Speaker 4>You might have another one, let's go. But then I
<v Speaker 4>got a doctor ic P. Yeah, we could just make stuff.
<v Speaker 4>I mean you could. I just don't want to get sued.
<v Speaker 5>I mean they could own the trademark to them, That's
<v Speaker 5>what I'm saying.
<v Speaker 4>That's that's a real thing.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, yeah, Dan, that one's the trademark to his.
<v Speaker 4>Face, right, how does he own the Yeah, I don't know.
<v Speaker 4>You can do that.
<v Speaker 5>You can do it, called Mike, Michael Dawkins.
<v Speaker 4>He'll get anything. Hey, you and you should get Bussy trademarked.
<v Speaker 9>We should.
<v Speaker 4>I'm not even sucking around. I really think you should.
<v Speaker 4>Because Mark was going to steal it.
<v Speaker 5>I had an idea for a tag team in a
<v Speaker 5>W Yeah, we're gonna.
<v Speaker 4>Do it Mark and Tony nice. But honor club though, guys,
<v Speaker 4>so it we'll see it. Yeah true.
<v Speaker 3>All right, So anybody got a question that all four
<v Speaker 3>of us will answer? So we're doing five so Christian Cage,
<v Speaker 3>come on down right, I want to switch for me
<v Speaker 3>and I'll always I'll just stand and do all them.
<v Speaker 9>Oh my god, he's gonna.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, yeah, I could have just did this. Thank you,
<v Speaker 4>Thank you. Tell us your name where you're from. I'm Matt.
<v Speaker 10>I'm from Northport here on Long Island, right, yeah, So
<v Speaker 10>my question is for you and Brian.
<v Speaker 4>Uh that Ali or Mark I didn't know was gonna
<v Speaker 4>be here. True, Well she's here now, all right.
<v Speaker 5>Well that's fine.
<v Speaker 4>So it's kind of random.
<v Speaker 10>But the winter before you guys won the tag titles
<v Speaker 10>at WrestleMania, there was supposed to be like it was
<v Speaker 10>like the tickets were going on sale at MetLife and
<v Speaker 10>there was an event that w W was having, and
<v Speaker 10>it was like there was superstar appearances like Alicia Fox,
<v Speaker 10>and you guys were supposed to have a match against
<v Speaker 10>the Sing Brothers.
<v Speaker 4>Have you guys talked about this, like, so yeah, it was.
<v Speaker 4>There was a few matches as well.
<v Speaker 10>It was Cashaso and Matt Riddle and then you guys
<v Speaker 10>versus the Sing Brothers.
<v Speaker 4>So I was wondering if you talk about that, like
<v Speaker 4>was the streak going to continue that day?
<v Speaker 10>And the events the event got canceled because of snow,
<v Speaker 10>so that match never happened.
<v Speaker 4>Thank you, guys. I don't quite recall this is this
<v Speaker 4>was a miracle that that got canceled. Wait a minute,
<v Speaker 4>that's it doesn't remember. He's not gonna be honest about this.
<v Speaker 4>But the Sing Brothers and the two of the most
<v Speaker 4>annoying little ships. Very nice kids, but unbelievably annoying. And
<v Speaker 4>if you follow them on social media, that's not hard
<v Speaker 4>to believe. Oh my god. So every I love the
<v Speaker 4>Sing Brothers. I love you, answering Bollywood boys, I love you.
<v Speaker 4>So every week it's either like and they're like and
<v Speaker 4>I know, like fuck, we have to lose to the
<v Speaker 4>Sing Brothers at MetLife Stadium, like like like we had to,
<v Speaker 4>Like there's no way we're winning, Like I just break
<v Speaker 4>my losing streak into fucking depress event or whatever. This
<v Speaker 4>is a nightmare, like everything about it, wrestling them, losing
<v Speaker 4>to them, talking to them, I'm like this, and I'm
<v Speaker 4>like I'm like, you're excited. This is like a living
<v Speaker 4>nightmare for me and Matt. And then there was this
<v Speaker 4>massive snowstorm and it just all got cancer yes, and
<v Speaker 4>it was like a little wrestling miracle like it was
<v Speaker 4>Holy Cow.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah wow yeah.
<v Speaker 4>Where they were like, yes, the streak would have just
<v Speaker 4>continued and that we would have losen the Sing Brothers.
<v Speaker 4>Now here's the thing when when they were like, oh man,
<v Speaker 4>we could do the match, were you like, yeah, damn yes, yes, yes,
<v Speaker 4>Brett to do this, to run this, Brett to book
<v Speaker 4>the Sing Brothers, to be like my edgeheads, my Matt heads,
<v Speaker 4>you know, my price would go off the wrestle the thing.
<v Speaker 4>I remember just not being happy about it because I'd
<v Speaker 4>have to wrestle on an off day in the cold.
<v Speaker 4>There's a lot of weird aspects to it.
<v Speaker 3>Didn't like Matt Bloom Texas on the side and asked
<v Speaker 3>if we would do it or something like that because
<v Speaker 3>it was like an n XT thing.
<v Speaker 4>Might it might have been like a little favor or something. Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>something weird. But what happened, I think you're right, would
<v Speaker 4>have been like in February, it met like outside side
<v Speaker 4>losing to the Singros, like whatever we do to deserve that.
<v Speaker 4>I want to see the Bollywood Boys versus Bussy say.
<v Speaker 9>Well they did. Instead at the DeFi show, they did
<v Speaker 9>Curryman and Effie versus the Bollywood boys. They went over
<v Speaker 9>like ten minutes. They wouldn't stop fucking dancing like everybody
<v Speaker 9>danced for so long, and I was like, we have
<v Speaker 9>red eyes, we need to go. So they had to
<v Speaker 9>cancel intermission so we could all make our flights. Yeah,
<v Speaker 9>we have.
<v Speaker 4>Gimmicks to sell. Goddam and Ali, I will say, you're
<v Speaker 4>one of the few people who actually have the proper.
<v Speaker 3>Merch at the merch table, sell your gimmicks. Realize that
<v Speaker 3>the merch is more important than the matches.
<v Speaker 4>So I respect that. I respect that. I'm serious. Too
<v Speaker 4>far anyway, No, it's not too far. I need a drink.
<v Speaker 5>All right, we got we need another one.
<v Speaker 3>Another question? Oh, Justin Walsh, come on down the major
<v Speaker 3>Mark Justin Waller, photographer Justin Wallace.
<v Speaker 4>You want to sing for us a little bit?
<v Speaker 5>No, I'm good.
<v Speaker 1>So you guys were talking recently about about sponsorships and
<v Speaker 1>pitch books and stuff like that. So if you had
<v Speaker 1>to partner with a brand from your childhood, like your
<v Speaker 1>favorite brand from your childhood that's maybe now defunct and
<v Speaker 1>stuff like that, who would you who would you pitch
<v Speaker 1>and how would you aim to use them?
<v Speaker 5>JVC kaboom box.
<v Speaker 4>Oh, that would be pretty sweet.
<v Speaker 5>Actually brought to you by JBC kaboombox.
<v Speaker 4>And that's a great one. Oh man, you're asking a
<v Speaker 4>hard hitting question because I don't know the answer.
<v Speaker 5>I'm talking about what what would sponsor Bussy?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, what would sponsor?
<v Speaker 9>Yeah, but it's defunct, like it doesn't it doesn't have
<v Speaker 9>to be the fun just like from like growing up,
<v Speaker 9>probably Barbie. That would be like the most the most sense, like.
<v Speaker 4>But Smash is brought to you by Barbie's, Bussy's.
<v Speaker 3>I would love like it if someone could customize like
<v Speaker 3>an Alley and e fie like Barbie and Ken with.
<v Speaker 9>This we have like the Bussy Barbie logo does so well.
<v Speaker 4>Okay, that's on the back of your gear that.
<v Speaker 9>We made for you, right, Yeah, it's like the Barbie
<v Speaker 9>logo too.
<v Speaker 3>I mean we could always do a repaint and like
<v Speaker 3>like the package and kind of like a Barbie package.
<v Speaker 4>That'd be pretty cool. I mean, how about we do
<v Speaker 4>have our childhood spunch. I've been playing toys from John
<v Speaker 4>since I was like twelve. Besides, job, that is very true.
<v Speaker 5>How about Ico pro sponsoring mac Cardona.
<v Speaker 4>I would like that and I wouldn't be able to
<v Speaker 4>stand that and guys, I do Matt.
<v Speaker 5>Just do a commercial spread the funk like?
<v Speaker 4>Well, I do have my own pre workout always ready available.
<v Speaker 5>Now, guys, I heard the people from Icho Pro actually
<v Speaker 5>put that together.
<v Speaker 4>That would be cool. We asked one of the boys
<v Speaker 4>about I remember said they were like that stuff tasted
<v Speaker 4>like shit.
<v Speaker 9>Because he all he does is go in a match.
<v Speaker 9>I've never seen Matt actually use it to work out.
<v Speaker 9>He just used every match. I use it every day
<v Speaker 9>in every match.
<v Speaker 7>Is it?
<v Speaker 5>Is it truly your favorite?
<v Speaker 3>It absolutely is? Has so much caffeine to it be
<v Speaker 3>a hell of a hell of a fucking energy boost,
<v Speaker 3>hell of a pump. All right, you wanta try some?
<v Speaker 5>I would actually love to not now, No, okay, alright,
<v Speaker 5>it'd be good little sample. Try it tomorrow.
<v Speaker 4>I'm trying to think, uh remember, like no fear like
<v Speaker 4>all that stuff. I would like like some no fear
<v Speaker 4>like major mark stuff. Sure, no, I guess I'd like
<v Speaker 4>to no fear chain wall like a leather jacket some
<v Speaker 4>some major pot jencos. I don't know about that. I
<v Speaker 4>never had jacobs. It was I wasn't like a skateboarder,
<v Speaker 4>but neither was that. But everyone just had You're a poser.
<v Speaker 4>That's what we used to say back in the day, poser.
<v Speaker 5>Super Soaker, incarnation of domination.
<v Speaker 4>But super sokem super soaker. Yeah, wall you stop, super Soaker.
<v Speaker 4>We got to bring a stamp back from the dead.
<v Speaker 4>Hell yeah, it lives in my heart.
<v Speaker 5>So okay, all right, who's got another one? Max?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, all right, come on down.
<v Speaker 5>Wearing a nice little scarf. He dressed up here. He's
<v Speaker 5>got a nice change.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, he was hot because Bob Bob ill dressed him.
<v Speaker 5>Smiling glasses. He made us some pop.
<v Speaker 4>He's got a gift that bring gifts. Max. What's up, dude?
<v Speaker 4>What's up? How's it going? How's everybody really good?
<v Speaker 5>How's everybody here? Oh?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, yeah, get a little popski?
<v Speaker 5>I had to get it in.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, wait a minute, what does happened there? I think
<v Speaker 4>you're to be here. I gotta work my eGain. He
<v Speaker 4>just said, I gotta he said something.
<v Speaker 5>All right, take two.
<v Speaker 4>We're alive.
<v Speaker 5>Now we'll cut that.
<v Speaker 4>We're not gonna cut it, all right.
<v Speaker 5>Your question, all right, question to you? So I just
<v Speaker 5>got back from Canada.
<v Speaker 4>Oh I hate Canada, saying that's why I live here now?
<v Speaker 5>Oh yeah, he moved. Yeah, hold that Mike up. Yeah.
<v Speaker 5>And I was at Toys r US and they had
<v Speaker 5>Star Wars transformers where it was like, Luke Skywalker turns
<v Speaker 5>into a kind of thing if you wrestling transformers into vehicles,
<v Speaker 5>like a stone called Steve Boston into a zamboni or
<v Speaker 5>a beer truck, or gold into the Cadillac. Yeah, good question.
<v Speaker 4>All right, of ourselves, I'm assuming, Oh that'd be cool.
<v Speaker 4>I think of ourselves.
<v Speaker 5>I think I turned into a Prius.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, no doubt about it. I wonder if we could
<v Speaker 4>doing a bicycle with a basket on the front. I
<v Speaker 4>would do a zach Ryder into a wheelchair.
<v Speaker 9>Yeah, it's pretty good.
<v Speaker 4>That's what I would do. That's a good one. Hey,
<v Speaker 4>can we do that? I would? I would love get guys.
<v Speaker 5>He's hammered.
<v Speaker 9>He hasn't seen almost finished, Like he's going off in there.
<v Speaker 4>We have another podcast when we're done with you, guys.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know what's the Brian Myers like a car guy,
<v Speaker 4>like a motorcycle on a motorcycle.
<v Speaker 5>I feel like the Brian Myers that that we know
<v Speaker 5>the dad's not really motorcycle guy, but I feel like
<v Speaker 5>the Brian.
<v Speaker 4>Myers on TV multi professional rider.
<v Speaker 9>He would be the rental car that gets him to
<v Speaker 9>the show.
<v Speaker 4>Ye, something reliable? Okay? What about what about the going
<v Speaker 4>to make the other cars look better than they really are?
<v Speaker 4>All right?
<v Speaker 5>What do you turning into?
<v Speaker 11>I don't know.
<v Speaker 9>I don't like cars.
<v Speaker 4>I don't.
<v Speaker 9>I just I know the difference between a truck and
<v Speaker 9>a car. And that's where that ends.
<v Speaker 4>What's the Barbie car called?
<v Speaker 5>Like the Barbie Barbie convertible?
<v Speaker 9>She has many cars, so she has like a Corvette,
<v Speaker 9>she has like an r V, she like glamps.
<v Speaker 4>What about Ali into the bussy bus?
<v Speaker 9>Oh yeah, if I get tagged that me one more time,
<v Speaker 9>I'm going to shoot myself to please. I saw the
<v Speaker 9>bussy bus. Please we all did.
<v Speaker 4>I don't.
<v Speaker 9>I was gonna say bike, but then you said that
<v Speaker 9>as a joke. Because I used to ride a bike.
<v Speaker 5>You can have the bike you can have. I'll take
<v Speaker 5>the prius.
<v Speaker 9>I'd be a single speed because I used to be
<v Speaker 9>a little bike girl in Austin.
<v Speaker 4>Uh ha, all right, all right, who has another quade up?
<v Speaker 4>It should be good to the Hall of Famer. The
<v Speaker 4>Hall of Famer got your hair took off and work
<v Speaker 4>for us? So well? The cloth oh down, all right.
<v Speaker 5>So I recently dedicated a shelf to my first of
<v Speaker 5>a live event from eighty six with a ticket style
<v Speaker 5>program stuff like that.
<v Speaker 4>Do you guys have anything from your first ever live event?
<v Speaker 3>I have no idea what my first live event is.
<v Speaker 3>My dad says he took me to rest me it too.
<v Speaker 3>There's no fucking way, Bob, no way. I wasn't even
<v Speaker 3>I was not even one years old.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, ten months old. Why he didn't take me?
<v Speaker 9>There they went and you were in the womb I
<v Speaker 9>went to.
<v Speaker 4>But my parents took me to so many shows that
<v Speaker 4>it all kind of blends together, which I guess is
<v Speaker 4>a great thing.
<v Speaker 5>The thanks guys.
<v Speaker 3>The first big show that I went to was Summer
<v Speaker 3>Slam ninety one at MSG, so like memories of that.
<v Speaker 3>I remember vividly being there geting like they were selling
<v Speaker 3>ice ice bars and the like. They would come down
<v Speaker 3>like you know, old school style. So maybe I would
<v Speaker 3>collect something from there like I have, Like they'd be
<v Speaker 3>like the Sid Justice figure, like the referee figure I
<v Speaker 3>still have, like the original vintage T shirt, Like it's
<v Speaker 3>not my original one, but I rebought it, So I
<v Speaker 3>have sentimental attachment to Summer Slam ninety one for sure,
<v Speaker 3>like the Brett perfect match that we redid a Deep
<v Speaker 3>South and they just made the bread.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, so I guess.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, Summer Slam ninety one is the one that I
<v Speaker 3>can remember because I went to just so many shows,
<v Speaker 3>that's the first one that sticks out for me.
<v Speaker 5>I I mind, the big show is the DX pay
<v Speaker 5>per view in Springfield, Massachusetts. So I don't have anything
<v Speaker 5>really except for the figures, like like the they came
<v Speaker 5>out with that Shaun, it's a badass Sean though it is,
<v Speaker 5>it is awesome, But iensive to right now in the
<v Speaker 5>secondary market, I would absolutely love anything from there. I
<v Speaker 5>would love a ticket, hell yeah, but anything a poster,
<v Speaker 5>maybe put.
<v Speaker 4>It out there, maybe somebody will.
<v Speaker 3>I would love a Summer Slam ninety one ticket stub. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>but that's that even ninety eight. That's like where true
<v Speaker 3>scarcity kicks in because nobody was saving shit then true,
<v Speaker 3>you know what I'm saying, So it would make it
<v Speaker 3>even more valuable.
<v Speaker 4>I think, definitely if it turns out. A couple of
<v Speaker 4>years ago in the podcast, was talking about that the
<v Speaker 4>things I remembered for my first show because I was
<v Speaker 4>it was definitely five. It was like the summer of
<v Speaker 4>nineteen ninety and then I feel bad. I can't plum
<v Speaker 4>the guy, that guy who makes those really cool they're
<v Speaker 4>not real, but the event called oh yeah yeah, and
<v Speaker 4>he sent it to me. He like did the he
<v Speaker 4>figured out for me. By the things I was saying,
<v Speaker 4>it was like really cool cool. So that's my earliest memory.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, like, my dad took me like a random
<v Speaker 4>live v in the Colsseum and for some reason I
<v Speaker 4>bought this underticker shirt that's an XL and I was
<v Speaker 4>I could have been like eleven, like there's no way fit.
<v Speaker 4>It doesn't fit me now, but I still have it
<v Speaker 4>and I would never get rid of it. I don't
<v Speaker 4>even like like the undertake. I don't know why I
<v Speaker 4>did that, Like I don't even know, but I would
<v Speaker 4>never get rid of because my dad bought for me
<v Speaker 4>and took me to wrestling show and like that kind
<v Speaker 4>of thing, and then obviously all the E CW stuff,
<v Speaker 4>because I have such vivid memories of going right those
<v Speaker 4>shows and that's all. But I have all the stuff,
<v Speaker 4>like I'm pretty much have a sprine.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, true, Ali, I.
<v Speaker 9>Didn't get to go as like a kid like he
<v Speaker 9>was too expensive. But I went to like a live
<v Speaker 9>event during so I lived in Austin and during south
<v Speaker 9>By Southwest for some reason, like WW was in town
<v Speaker 9>that's been going on that long.
<v Speaker 4>What I thought it was like a new thing.
<v Speaker 9>South By Southwest is forever years and years, one.
<v Speaker 5>Of the first like film festivals.
<v Speaker 9>Yeah, but like it was, it was in town the
<v Speaker 9>same time at south By Southwest, and I was like
<v Speaker 9>seeing somebody and he but like we had a group
<v Speaker 9>of people, so to get us alone time, he bought
<v Speaker 9>us tickets to go to the live event, and so
<v Speaker 9>we went to that. Yeah, exactly. It was like I
<v Speaker 9>wanted to be alone with you, away from everybody in
<v Speaker 9>the crowd, So let's go to this. It's god, I know,
<v Speaker 9>like there was a cage match on it. I was sick.
<v Speaker 4>That'd be terrifying actually, and we were so far back.
<v Speaker 9>Now do you remember what year to Uh it was
<v Speaker 9>pre twenty fifteen, so.
<v Speaker 4>It's probably like I'm already fired.
<v Speaker 9>Two thousand thirteen.
<v Speaker 5>Maybe all right, I get.
<v Speaker 7>A bit there.
<v Speaker 4>Don't just met you.
<v Speaker 5>There's somebody that could get that card together at least.
<v Speaker 4>Oh yeah, mis Kurt Hawkins versus Percy Watson.
<v Speaker 9>That night, I know where anyone was there because I
<v Speaker 9>was like sick.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, very cool, that's what I remember. All right, last question,
<v Speaker 4>let's go cool Oh Leo's Powow shirt.
<v Speaker 9>Love it whole costway, look at.
<v Speaker 4>The vegan power Yeah, there you go. Okay, there we go.
<v Speaker 9>All right, So this is like for all of you,
<v Speaker 9>what advice would you give someone who wants to be
<v Speaker 9>a wrestler.
<v Speaker 4>Don't every time I got this question before I thank you,
<v Speaker 4>we begin. I think it's it's gonna sound like cheesy,
<v Speaker 4>but it's not over until you quit. You know what
<v Speaker 4>I'm saying, Like, you didn't not make it until you
<v Speaker 4>decide I'm done wrestling. So it might happen in a year,
<v Speaker 4>two years, five years, twenty years if you keep chasing
<v Speaker 4>the dream until you quit, Like, just keep chasing it.
<v Speaker 3>But you have to really want it, and there's gonna
<v Speaker 3>be a lot of sacrifices, a lot of bullshit, a
<v Speaker 3>lot of ups and downs. But as long as you
<v Speaker 3>really love it and you even when times suck, if
<v Speaker 3>you don't quit, then it's not over. That's the biggest piece.
<v Speaker 4>I have the thing that I tell people when they
<v Speaker 4>come here, and it happens a lot, probably more than
<v Speaker 4>people that more people come through here not knowing what
<v Speaker 4>they're getting into than people that have like some kind
<v Speaker 4>of understanding for whatever reason, even though like the knowledge
<v Speaker 4>of how prossing works is pretty much out there, like
<v Speaker 4>for you to a couple of YouTube clicks and you
<v Speaker 4>can con watch Navan's YouTube to find out the secrets.
<v Speaker 4>But I think they're always seeking in this magic trick,
<v Speaker 4>like this is what you gotta do, and that's it. Here,
<v Speaker 4>here's the magic thing, the one little thing to do.
<v Speaker 4>But it's not that. It's just work your ass off
<v Speaker 4>and work hard and eat ship like Russy said, And
<v Speaker 4>there's no there's no magic way to be like that's it, boom,
<v Speaker 4>get it done, get rich quick. It's not like that
<v Speaker 4>at all. It's just like anything else in life. It's
<v Speaker 4>like it's very difficult to do, but it's worth doing
<v Speaker 4>in the end. Right. So that's the most common thing
<v Speaker 4>I have to explain to people. They think like, oh,
<v Speaker 4>this is gonna be one. I had a dad come
<v Speaker 4>in with their kid one time and they were like, so,
<v Speaker 4>when's he gonna be on raw? I was like, fuck, guys,
<v Speaker 4>did you do no research before coming here? Fuck?
<v Speaker 5>So yeah, yeah, I've always said so a couple of things. One,
<v Speaker 5>I think one of the most important things about being
<v Speaker 5>a wrestler is being self aware and understanding your limits,
<v Speaker 5>playing to your strengths. And I mean, like I always say,
<v Speaker 5>if I looked in the mirror when I started wrestling
<v Speaker 5>and thought that I was Batista and tried to be
<v Speaker 5>Batista in the Indies, I would have never done anything ever.
<v Speaker 5>But I knew what I was good at and what
<v Speaker 5>I could do what I looked like, so I played
<v Speaker 5>to that strength and and whatever. So you have to
<v Speaker 5>be self aware. But then also you have to be
<v Speaker 5>prepared to make it consume your entire life basically, like
<v Speaker 5>you have to take care of your family. You have
<v Speaker 5>to you know, have a job and take care of
<v Speaker 5>yourself and stuff like that. But everything else, if you
<v Speaker 5>really want to be successful, has to like be eliminated,
<v Speaker 5>like like it has to be your hobby, it has
<v Speaker 5>to be your uh, the things you do for fun,
<v Speaker 5>like it has to be your focus, especially for those
<v Speaker 5>first years. And you have to be totally willing to
<v Speaker 5>do that because everybody else that's successful is doing that.
<v Speaker 5>So if you're not, you're just you're like in a
<v Speaker 5>race with your with your feet tied together.
<v Speaker 4>If you walk through those doors and you're not thinking
<v Speaker 4>about this, yeah you're in trouble.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah that's exactly.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 5>You got to be watching it when you're doing cardio.
<v Speaker 5>You got you got to be watching it on your
<v Speaker 5>phone when you're walking to the next thing. You got
<v Speaker 5>to be thinking about it and be planning your character.
<v Speaker 5>You got to be practicing your promos when you're brushing
<v Speaker 5>your teeth, everything, And you have to be prepared to
<v Speaker 5>do that, because if you're not, it's sort of pointless.
<v Speaker 9>But what about you, Ali, I would say I agree
<v Speaker 9>with all that, and then I guess you just have
<v Speaker 9>to do your research. So if you are like wherever
<v Speaker 9>you are, whoever's watching this, If you are somewhere and
<v Speaker 9>you've never heard of anybody that's come out of whatever
<v Speaker 9>school you're at, or like you've never heard of the
<v Speaker 9>person training, if nobody's done anything there, don't waste your
<v Speaker 9>time there because you're just paying rent. You're just paying
<v Speaker 9>their rent. You're all playing wrestler. But if you go
<v Speaker 9>somewhere and there's multiple people who've come out of the
<v Speaker 9>school that you've heard of, if the trainer has done
<v Speaker 9>something worthwhile, Like you can usually trust that and then
<v Speaker 9>you should spend your time there because if you spend
<v Speaker 9>your first two to three years just twiddling your thumbs,
<v Speaker 9>not doing anything and not learning anything worthwhile, then you've
<v Speaker 9>wasted three years. And then by that time and a
<v Speaker 9>lot of those people they go, well, why do I
<v Speaker 9>still have to set up a ring? Like why am
<v Speaker 9>I not anywhere yet? It's like, well, because he didn't
<v Speaker 9>do anything for three years.
<v Speaker 4>By that's a great question. Definitely have to toe the
<v Speaker 4>line of like arrogance, confidence, self awaren it like it's
<v Speaker 4>all but really toeing the line of it because you
<v Speaker 4>need some of that, you know, it's wild.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, And like Mark said about being self aware, you
<v Speaker 3>gotta like hide your negatives and accentuate your positives, you know,
<v Speaker 3>like do the things you're good at and not saying
<v Speaker 3>you can't try to get better at other things, but
<v Speaker 3>like the things you're not good at until you get
<v Speaker 3>better at them, and the things that you're good at
<v Speaker 3>are great at, you know, make them as powerful as
<v Speaker 3>they are, you know, for for your character or your style,
<v Speaker 3>whatever that may be.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, it's a it was a loaded question, but a
<v Speaker 4>good one. One. More from a special guest over here.
