<v Speaker 1>family encounters I've ever heard. What began as a normal
<v Speaker 1>Minnesota deer opener quickly turned into something life changing when
<v Speaker 1>his father witnessed a massive wolf like creature standing upright
<v Speaker 1>just fifty yards away, and even managed to capture a
<v Speaker 1>photograph as it walked off into the timber. But the
<v Speaker 1>activity didn't end there. On the following hunting trips, Cyril
<v Speaker 1>and his brother returned to the same ravine and the
<v Speaker 1>woods erupted with chilling whoops and screams from multiple directions
<v Speaker 1>echoing through the falling snow, like a mixture of a
<v Speaker 1>woman's cry and a howler monkey. With similar experiences dating
<v Speaker 1>back to his grandfather near Grand Rapids, Cyril's family has
<v Speaker 1>been touched by something ancient, powerful, and unknown that roams

<v Speaker 1>All right, Sarah, welcome to Sasquatch Theory. How are you
<v Speaker 1>doing today?
<v Speaker 2>Good?
<v Speaker 1>How are you doing excellent? It's an absolute pleasure to
<v Speaker 1>have you on the show to day. I went to
<v Speaker 1>Minnesota on ourn expedition. We did some research with a
<v Speaker 1>friend of mine and after I put up that video,
<v Speaker 1>you commented about an encounter that your father had and
<v Speaker 1>you mentioned some experiences that you've had before as well.
<v Speaker 1>If you would tell me a little bit about yourself,
<v Speaker 1>where you're from, and the experiences from the very beginning, please, yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Absolutely. My name is Cyril. I'm from central Minnesota, Sterns
<v Speaker 2>County area. I'm father of three, hard working guy, just
<v Speaker 2>a normal dude. So basically I'll go in chronological order
<v Speaker 2>as it happened so this happened last year. It would
<v Speaker 2>have been twenty twenty four hunting season. Me, my mom,
<v Speaker 2>my dad, my brother. We went up to Itaska County,
<v Speaker 2>Central Itaskey County, we'll call it. And we've been going
<v Speaker 2>there for gosh. I've been going there since I was
<v Speaker 2>five years old, since we moved to Minneso Soda. Somebody
<v Speaker 2>with my last name has been hunting these woods since
<v Speaker 2>the nineteen forties. So it's a it's a well known area,
<v Speaker 2>you know. I don't just go up there for deer hunting.
<v Speaker 2>I go up there for mushroom foraging, looking for antler sheds,
<v Speaker 2>grouse hunting, anything outdoors. I try to do so. But uh,
<v Speaker 2>but yeah, So first weekend, what was it when Saturday
<v Speaker 2>would have been opener? No, luck, didn't see anything, didn't
<v Speaker 2>get nothing. Sorry what on one second?
<v Speaker 1>No, you're fine, and that's going by.
<v Speaker 2>No. So we didn't see nothing, didn't hear nothing. First day,
<v Speaker 2>like I said, me and my brother, mom, dad. Uh.
<v Speaker 2>Second day comes around and go out, go out a
<v Speaker 2>little bit before dark like normal, all of us although
<v Speaker 2>our normal slots, we all know where each other are
<v Speaker 2>at out halfway through the day. We'll stay at noon,
<v Speaker 2>I come back to camp, and my mom she's the
<v Speaker 2>first one I see. She comes up to me and
<v Speaker 2>she goes, you talk to your dad. I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I haven't talked to him yet. I haven't texted him
<v Speaker 2>or anything. You know. My first thought was he got
<v Speaker 2>a good one or something I saw. I go, he
<v Speaker 2>get a buck and she goes, no, he saw something interesting.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, well, what do you see? And she
<v Speaker 2>looks at me. She's like, well, you just need to
<v Speaker 2>talk to your dad and have him explain it to you.
<v Speaker 2>So I'm all right. So I walked past her. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know what I did right after that. I went
<v Speaker 2>to the jeep, went to the vehicle or something. All
<v Speaker 2>of a sudden, my dad's there. I don't know if
<v Speaker 2>he was in the camper or where he was, but
<v Speaker 2>my dad's there. He's got a he's got kind of
<v Speaker 2>a blank look on his face. He saw something. I go,
<v Speaker 2>what was it? He goes, He goes, he looks at me.
<v Speaker 2>He goes, this was the weirdest thing for girl. He goes,
<v Speaker 2>I was. I was about I don't know, forty yards
<v Speaker 2>the north of the camper into this ravine and then
<v Speaker 2>it shoots right up to a ridge right after that,
<v Speaker 2>and we like to go hunt down there at the
<v Speaker 2>bottom of it in the morning time. He said he
<v Speaker 2>was sitting there, sitting there and all of a sudden,
<v Speaker 2>about forty fifty yards off to his the camper, it
<v Speaker 2>would have been to the north the northeast. He said
<v Speaker 2>he looked over because he saw some movement. All of
<v Speaker 2>a sudden, he goes, there's this, he said, what looks
<v Speaker 2>like a wolf standing on his hind legs. And I
<v Speaker 2>didn't believe him right away. I laughed, and I thought
<v Speaker 2>he was messing with me, because you know, in past
<v Speaker 2>I've tried bringing up the big Foot topic. Never brought
<v Speaker 2>up dog Man to him, but brought up the big
<v Speaker 2>Foot topic to him, and he won't even discuss it
<v Speaker 2>with me. He just kind of laughs. And he grew
<v Speaker 2>up in the woods and all that, so he thinks
<v Speaker 2>he's if he hasn't seen it, it's not there. But
<v Speaker 2>he's telling the stories, telling me it was wolf and
<v Speaker 2>it looked like it was on its hind legs. I
<v Speaker 2>was like, well, did you get a picture? And he goes.
<v Speaker 2>I went to get my phone out as fast as
<v Speaker 2>I could, and he goes. By the time I got
<v Speaker 2>my phone out to take a picture. It was facing
<v Speaker 2>the opposite direction, but he got a picture of it
<v Speaker 2>and he showed it to me, and you can see
<v Speaker 2>the top head and what looked like twenty great years
<v Speaker 2>and like a neck, but it's facing away from him.
<v Speaker 2>So I just thought, well, that's interesting. You know, it's
<v Speaker 2>probably a deer or something. But his whole attitude afterwards
<v Speaker 2>completely changed, like he's not a high stress or will
<v Speaker 2>raise some person, you know, he was. He would send
<v Speaker 2>my mom to her stand, he'd go to his stand.
<v Speaker 2>We all go to our stands, but after that it
<v Speaker 2>was mom didn't leave a side. Him and mom were
<v Speaker 2>hunting together, and he kept talking to me and my
<v Speaker 2>brother Nick, saying, well, you guys should hunt together. You
<v Speaker 2>guys stay close. Constant texting afterwards, like you know where
<v Speaker 2>you guys at, seeing anything, how you doing, keep your
<v Speaker 2>eyes out, And it's just that's just not that's just
<v Speaker 2>not him, that's not how he acts or anything. So
<v Speaker 2>you know, in hindsight, that's probably a bigger deal than
<v Speaker 2>what I'm about to tell you what me and my
<v Speaker 2>brother went through. But at the time we were just
<v Speaker 2>kind of like, oh, whatever, Dad saw something. He's getting
<v Speaker 2>old it is what it is, so hunted a little
<v Speaker 2>bit longer. Didn't see anything that open weekend. Come back home.
<v Speaker 2>I did a little hunting around here, got something on
<v Speaker 2>my parents' land, and we decided to go back up
<v Speaker 2>that third weekend. Brought the rifles. We brought our the
<v Speaker 2>crossbow and our regular boat with a compound bow. Excuse me,
<v Speaker 2>third weekend. It's that Friday. We left late after work,
<v Speaker 2>is probably four or five o'clock roughly. It was lightly snowing.
<v Speaker 2>I can I can remember everything about that night, but
<v Speaker 2>it was just lightly snow was really pretty no wind, nothing.
<v Speaker 2>We get up there the area where we camp at,
<v Speaker 2>where we've camped at since I was a little kid,
<v Speaker 2>is it's on the dead end of just a random
<v Speaker 2>like logging road pretty much. We just pull up, drop
<v Speaker 2>the fifth wheel, and then there's a couple of trails
<v Speaker 2>right there that we'd usually take out to our camping spots.
<v Speaker 2>But we get out there, we didn't have the fifth
<v Speaker 2>wheel this time. It is just me and my brother,
<v Speaker 2>grabbed our tent, got the propane heater, you know, everything
<v Speaker 2>we need. We get out there probably eleven between eleven
<v Speaker 2>and midnight. Like I said, it was snowing lightly. It
<v Speaker 2>was really pretty. I just remember I thought that a lot.
<v Speaker 2>I kept thinking, my gosh, this is nice. Good night.
<v Speaker 2>I get out. I start putting the tent up right away.
<v Speaker 2>First thing I do, get out, go back in the vehicle,
<v Speaker 2>grab the tent, steaks, everything, start putting the tent together.
<v Speaker 2>As I'm doing that, my little brother is grabbing everything else,
<v Speaker 2>getting the guns or no, excuse me, he didn't get
<v Speaker 2>the guns. He grabbed everything but the guns. Got everything out,
<v Speaker 2>and we were you know, we weren't being quiet. We weren't.
<v Speaker 2>We were bullshitting, laughing. We were there for about hour
<v Speaker 2>and a half to maybe two hours, and so I'm
<v Speaker 2>I had the tent up. At this point, I'm about
<v Speaker 2>half in, half out of the tent. I'm bent over,
<v Speaker 2>messing with the buddy heater, trying to get it going,
<v Speaker 2>messing with the propane and everything. My brother is about
<v Speaker 2>fifteen yards directly behind me at the driver's seat in
<v Speaker 2>his vehicle. I'm messing with the propane, and all of
<v Speaker 2>a sudden, to my we'ld been northwest. Actually the it
<v Speaker 2>came from, but a little bit closer, the exact same
<v Speaker 2>spot where my dad had his sighting all of a sudden,
<v Speaker 2>this just loud, like whoop scream. It's really hard for
<v Speaker 2>me to explain it. I can hear it, I can
<v Speaker 2>hear it perfect, but it's hard for me to explain
<v Speaker 2>any words. It was like a whoop scream, and it
<v Speaker 2>made me jump. It was it was incredibly loud, not
<v Speaker 2>like deafening loud, but like imagine walking through a shop
<v Speaker 2>and all of a sudden, the the air compressor turns on.
<v Speaker 2>It was. It was startling like that. And so it
<v Speaker 2>made this loud screaming like like a like a woman
<v Speaker 2>in a monkey mix. But the I remember my very
<v Speaker 2>first thought when I heard it was like, that's a
<v Speaker 2>that's a monkey. That's a monkey. And anyway, so it
<v Speaker 2>screamed once, like a half second pause, screamed again, maybe
<v Speaker 2>a one to one and a half second pause, and
<v Speaker 2>then from I'd say about thirty yards to the north
<v Speaker 2>would be northeast came the same sound. But at the
<v Speaker 2>end of this scream it sounded like like the closest
<v Speaker 2>thing I could find would be the end of a
<v Speaker 2>howler monkey scream. That like kind of odd groaning noise.
<v Speaker 2>I instantly shot up. I turned around to my brother
<v Speaker 2>and I just stupid question and go did you hear that?
<v Speaker 2>And he just started He looks at me and goes, yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I heard that, And I just go get the and
<v Speaker 2>before I could even finish thing get in the gun,
<v Speaker 2>he's already he's got the three hundred mag out trying
<v Speaker 2>to wreck some some bullets in it. There's some shells
<v Speaker 2>in it, And yeah, that's that's basically what happened to us.
<v Speaker 2>We heard that screen. We sat there trying to figure
<v Speaker 2>out like what it was, trying to ration it out, like, oh,
<v Speaker 2>it could have been could have been an owl, it
<v Speaker 2>could have been this, but it wasn't. It wasn't that.
<v Speaker 2>We could not put a face or anything to it.
<v Speaker 2>So when we were so freaked out, we decided just
<v Speaker 2>to leave. We leave our stuff, we'll come back in
<v Speaker 2>the morning. So we drove an hour south to get
<v Speaker 2>the Grand Rapids, got a hotel there for the night.
<v Speaker 2>He came back the next morning and we went hunting. Nothing.
<v Speaker 2>We never heard it again, never had any any problems,
<v Speaker 2>none of our stuff was messed with. But we went
<v Speaker 2>up there again this last year for hunting a few
<v Speaker 2>weeks ago, and it was like a completely a completely
<v Speaker 2>different atmosphere up there. You know, we saw wolf sign,
<v Speaker 2>tons of deer sign, uh, you know, red squirrels, gray ja's.
<v Speaker 2>You know, we saw it all up there. Again, I
<v Speaker 2>don't think I said this before, but when we were
<v Speaker 2>up there that first weekend, it was very dead, very quiet,
<v Speaker 2>not a lot of sign of life like there usually
<v Speaker 2>would be. So yeah, that's that's basically what happened.
<v Speaker 1>All right. I appreciate you for sharing that with me,
<v Speaker 1>And that reminded me of the first night I spent
<v Speaker 1>in Minnesota. I kind of told you about that before
<v Speaker 1>the podcast. There was zero wind, a cool crisp night,
<v Speaker 1>and we were unpacking everything, and all of a sudden,
<v Speaker 1>I started we all started hearing it. It sounded like
<v Speaker 1>a puppy whimpering, but it sounded like something was mimicking it,
<v Speaker 1>and like it was something really tall, like at least
<v Speaker 1>ten foot tall, And like you said, I couldn't put
<v Speaker 1>a face to it, but it was just a feeling
<v Speaker 1>that it gave me. And as it was happening, it
<v Speaker 1>transitioned about seventy five yards down the State Forest Road,
<v Speaker 1>and it's almost like whatever it was teleported down there.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not saying it did, but that's what that was
<v Speaker 1>the impression that I got. But a lot of people
<v Speaker 1>say that dog Man will whimper like a puppy or
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, mimic like a child saying help me,
<v Speaker 1>and essentially they're trying to lure you into the forest
<v Speaker 1>so they can pretty much grab you and take you away.
<v Speaker 1>But that's what I told Chris when I heard it.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, Man, a lot of people say that's
<v Speaker 1>associated to dog Man, And he told me there's not
<v Speaker 1>really too many dog Man reports in that area, but
<v Speaker 1>I mean it's the same I don't know, the same area,
<v Speaker 1>kind of like it is in Michigan. A lot of
<v Speaker 1>the dog Man reports in Michigan are in northern Michigan,
<v Speaker 1>and that's kind of where we were in Minnesota. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>when I read your comment and got in touch with
<v Speaker 1>you about the dog Man, that really struck a chord
<v Speaker 1>with me. Because Chris kept asking me on the trip,
<v Speaker 1>He's like, you really think there's dog Man up here?
<v Speaker 1>I was like, I don't know what else that would be.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I have heard that with Bigfoot that they
<v Speaker 1>will like mimic animals and mimic humans as well, So
<v Speaker 1>I guess Bigfoot and dog man both do the same thing.
<v Speaker 1>But yet your dad he encountered one of these things.
<v Speaker 1>He saw the creature, and I can't imagine how that
<v Speaker 1>changed his life. Did he say how big that the
<v Speaker 1>animal was?
<v Speaker 2>He didn't. I can ask him and get more details
<v Speaker 2>on it. We haven't really talked about it too much lately,
<v Speaker 2>but you know, he said, he looked up because he
<v Speaker 2>had movement side of his eye, looked up and saw
<v Speaker 2>it kind of coming down the hill and couldn't believe
<v Speaker 2>what he was seeing. Pulled his phone out, and by
<v Speaker 2>the time he got his phone out, it was already
<v Speaker 2>turning that corner there, so his back was to him.
<v Speaker 2>I'm going to get that picture though that he has,
<v Speaker 2>and I'm gonna send it to you.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, Yeah, that'd be excellent. He said. It was like
<v Speaker 1>a black gray.
<v Speaker 2>Color gray, yep, gray, and in the picture you can
<v Speaker 2>see the ears are gray, the head's gray.
<v Speaker 1>I wonder if like around the neck, if like the
<v Speaker 1>hair was longer, if it had kind of like how
<v Speaker 1>a hyena kind of has like that mohawk going down
<v Speaker 1>its head and along its back.
<v Speaker 2>I don't remember that from the picture. I can remember
<v Speaker 2>it not being slender, but sleek, almost not not real
<v Speaker 2>like mangy or anything. It looked actually kind of clean.
<v Speaker 2>It was interesting.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that is interesting. And a lot of times these creatures,
<v Speaker 1>beings whatever you want to call them, they travel in packs,
<v Speaker 1>so if he saw one, most likely there was more around.
<v Speaker 1>Did he feel threatened by the creature? Obviously, if you
<v Speaker 1>see something like this, it'll definitely give you a threatening feeling.
<v Speaker 1>But did he feel like they were coming after him
<v Speaker 1>or did it seem like they were just on the hunt?
<v Speaker 2>No, not at all, he said. He doesn't even think
<v Speaker 2>it really seen him. It just kind of looked his direction. Possibly,
<v Speaker 2>but you know, he didn't say anything about feeling threatened
<v Speaker 2>or anything. He was just more baffled and just confused,
<v Speaker 2>like what what was that? Oh?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, that's spooky. I've heard scientists talking about wolves
<v Speaker 1>like in the ice Age. They said that they most
<v Speaker 1>likely did have the ability to learn how to stand
<v Speaker 1>on their hind legs so they can look above the
<v Speaker 1>prairie grass to look for prey, which is kind of
<v Speaker 1>kind of scary.
<v Speaker 2>That's it. I'd be real creepy like that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, And I mean I completely understand how your dad's
<v Speaker 1>how your father's demeanor completely changed, and he was worried
<v Speaker 1>about you guys because you guys were hunting in the
<v Speaker 1>same woods where he's seen this creature previously. And yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean your mom.
<v Speaker 2>We were camping, like, you know, one hundred and twenty
<v Speaker 2>yards from where it was. We're real close to the sighting.
<v Speaker 1>And they never came into camp. I mean not like
<v Speaker 1>went into camp. But you guys didn't hear them around
<v Speaker 1>you that night.
<v Speaker 2>No, nothing, you know, but you know, we got that
<v Speaker 2>we sleep in the fifth wheel. We got the heater
<v Speaker 2>in there. It's kind of loud, so you don't really
<v Speaker 2>hear much of anything out there.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and none of you guys saw any deer that
<v Speaker 1>day of the ankle.
<v Speaker 2>No nothing, nothing, no nobody. Yeah, nobody got anything. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>And like I said, it was the feeling was just
<v Speaker 2>it was just off, you know, I don't that's the
<v Speaker 2>best word I can put to it to describe it.
<v Speaker 2>It just wasn't like years past. There wasn't the same
<v Speaker 2>animal sign. There wasn't any wolf tracks. I mean we
<v Speaker 2>always see wolf tracks. We almost always see wolves up
<v Speaker 2>there too. But uh yeah, and then like I said,
<v Speaker 2>this year, back to normal tons of tracks. The woods
<v Speaker 2>was alive. You know, I've heard about these things migrating,
<v Speaker 2>moving with the seasons and everything could be a possibility.
<v Speaker 1>It very well could be. And did you guys notice,
<v Speaker 1>like any tree structures in the areas, any mark trees,
<v Speaker 1>like kind of like how grizzly barre will scratch up
<v Speaker 1>trees or mountain lions. Did you notice anything like that?
<v Speaker 2>Not really, There's there's so many down trees, it's just
<v Speaker 2>filled with them, so it's kind of hard to tell
<v Speaker 2>the difference between what would be called the structure just
<v Speaker 2>just some fallen trees.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely, And yeah, it's a good thing you guys
<v Speaker 1>didn't run into the creature again or have anything strange happened.
<v Speaker 1>But you guys did go back up on the third weekend.
<v Speaker 1>Do you feel like what you heard was a bigfoot
<v Speaker 1>or a dog man? I?
<v Speaker 2>I would probably say more along the lines of a bigfoot.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know much about dog man. I I'm not
<v Speaker 2>educated enough on that to say, but I've I've listened
<v Speaker 2>to my bigfoot stories, I've read some things I would
<v Speaker 2>have I would guess it would be a big foot.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, it kind of sounded like it from the description.
<v Speaker 1>I've never seen a dog man. But I have heard
<v Speaker 1>one in the woods when I was about twelve years old,
<v Speaker 1>and it was the most god awful howl I've ever heard.
<v Speaker 1>It sounded like a werewolf howl but on steroids, like
<v Speaker 1>it was like a monstrous howl, and then it transitioned
<v Speaker 1>into like a woman screaming. But after yeah, after I
<v Speaker 1>had my bigfoot encounters, like actual eye sightings, I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I almost wonder if the howl confronted like the werewolf
<v Speaker 1>dog man confronted a sasquatch, because it almost seemed like
<v Speaker 1>two different creatures. But still this day, I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if it was just the same creature that howled and
<v Speaker 1>then screamed like a woman being gutted, or if it
<v Speaker 1>was like two different cryptids that like confronting each other.
<v Speaker 1>I know it sounds like a like a fairy tale
<v Speaker 1>or like folkal or what I'm explaining, But it really happened.
<v Speaker 1>It freaked me out.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, that'd be terrifying. Yeah, you know you said
<v Speaker 2>something about when you heard or heard what you heard
<v Speaker 2>about it, it sounded like it came from ten feet up,
<v Speaker 2>you know, And same thing with me and my brother
<v Speaker 2>when we heard that scream it wasn't coming from the ground.
<v Speaker 2>It was coming from you know, my head or.
<v Speaker 1>Higher mm hmm. Yeah. So definitely something huge. And that
<v Speaker 1>same night after we heard the puppy wimpoerine, I saw
<v Speaker 1>like this orange ball of light and I told my
<v Speaker 1>friend Chris about it. He's a local in the area,
<v Speaker 1>and I was like, Oh, there must be somebody camping
<v Speaker 1>over there. He's like, oh no, He's like, there's nobody
<v Speaker 1>camping over there. And then moments after that, he was
<v Speaker 1>looking up into the trees. He's like, I just saw light.
<v Speaker 1>I just saw another one. I didn't see it because
<v Speaker 1>I was doing my thing. And then I would say
<v Speaker 1>about two or three hours after that, or maybe it
<v Speaker 1>was the next night, I can't remember, but my friend
<v Speaker 1>Adam that rode up there with me, he said he
<v Speaker 1>saw like a blue light across the road where we
<v Speaker 1>heard the dog mpering. But it was freaky because we
<v Speaker 1>had a lot of what I would call bigfoot activity.
<v Speaker 1>I did some rock clocks at camp around the fire,
<v Speaker 1>and I was telling Chris, I was like the juveniles
<v Speaker 1>in Missouri when clacked these rocks together, so I kind
<v Speaker 1>of mimicked what they did, and it was like a
<v Speaker 1>morse code, just like tap tap tap tap tap tap
<v Speaker 1>tap tap, And then I kid you not like ten
<v Speaker 1>seconds after that, in the woods, something struck rocks together
<v Speaker 1>real loud, and we were both like, holy crap, what

<v Speaker 2>No, I haven't not to my knowledge, any of my family,
<v Speaker 2>they haven't either. My my grandfather has a has a
<v Speaker 2>story about seeing like what he described as a large
<v Speaker 2>shadow going through the woods, walking through the woods. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know the whole story. I'll talk to him again,

<v Speaker 2>But you know, there's there's a few stories from that area.
<v Speaker 2>I know. I remember reading when I was younger about
<v Speaker 2>a a deputy or sheriff his son, his adult son

<v Speaker 2>I and he claims to see, uh, saw a bigfoot
<v Speaker 2>in his garden one day.
<v Speaker 1>Oh wow, So this is by the Grand Rapids area,
<v Speaker 1>correct somewhere?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yep, yep, around the Grand Rapids area, the what's
<v Speaker 2>called State Forest.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, sorry, yeah, yeah, there's a lot of reports from
<v Speaker 1>that area, and a lot more than just bigfoot. A
<v Speaker 1>lot of people talk about the little people. I don't
<v Speaker 1>even know if I should bring it up. They all
<v Speaker 1>warned me not to talk about it, but I've.
<v Speaker 2>Heard of that. There's some good Yeah, yeah, there's some
<v Speaker 2>interesting tales there. I've I've listened to actually quite a
<v Speaker 2>bit about the little people. I've heard it from. Alaska
<v Speaker 2>is mostly where they're from.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I heard a lot from Alaska, Canada and Minnesota
<v Speaker 1>and Michigan. It seems to be like the hottest areas
<v Speaker 1>for little people. But I don't really know much about it.
<v Speaker 1>But I'm really intrigued when people talk about it because
<v Speaker 1>they're super serious and people from those areas is like,
<v Speaker 1>they all have stories about him, Like, huh, little people.
<v Speaker 2>I know, it's really interesting, really interesting.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Well, at the end of the the trip, on
<v Speaker 1>the last day, Chris pulled something out of his pocket
<v Speaker 1>and he's like, what the what the heck? I mean
<v Speaker 1>he said something else, but basically he pulled out this
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. It kind of looked like, I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>like a like a smooth stone, and he's like, I
<v Speaker 1>swear this was in my pocket. I have no idea
<v Speaker 1>how how that got there. And he he was pretty
<v Speaker 1>much freaking out about it. And at first I was like,
<v Speaker 1>maybe you picked it up and you didn't realize you
<v Speaker 1>put in your pocket, but he's like, no, no, He's like,
<v Speaker 1>I have no idea how that got there. He felt
<v Speaker 1>like it was a gift from either the Sasquatch, and
<v Speaker 1>later on we you know, maybe assumed that it could
<v Speaker 1>have been the little people. But the other day he
<v Speaker 1>sent me a photo of it and he stuck a
<v Speaker 1>magnet to it, and it just like it's stuck to it,
<v Speaker 1>So it's definitely magnetic. And we don't really know much
<v Speaker 1>about it. Yeah, before the trip, Wrist was up there
<v Speaker 1>preparing camp as we were driving up from Missouri, and
<v Speaker 1>he said he went to this rock behind our camp.
<v Speaker 1>It was a pretty good distance away from camp, but
<v Speaker 1>he set out some tobacco and I can't remember what else,
<v Speaker 1>but the tobacco was gone, and he pretty much said, hey,
<v Speaker 1>we're not here to mess with you guys. We've come
<v Speaker 1>here in peace. And he pretty much, you know, left
<v Speaker 1>like an offering, a.
<v Speaker 2>Piece office offering.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but I was blown away by how much activity
<v Speaker 1>we had. I mean, it's a shame I couldn't have
<v Speaker 1>gotten more on camera or on the audio recorders. I
<v Speaker 1>think the audio recorder only worked for like a day
<v Speaker 1>and a half and we were up there for like
<v Speaker 1>three or four days. But either way, it got really windy.
<v Speaker 1>But the bulk of the activity was on the first night.
<v Speaker 1>Like you said, it was a clear, crisp, quiet night,
<v Speaker 1>and that seemed to be when there was the most activity.
<v Speaker 1>When it gets really windy, there's not as much stuff happening,
<v Speaker 1>but I've gotten that fear only here in Missouri. Like
<v Speaker 1>the barometric pressure just goes up. Everything's real quiet. It's
<v Speaker 1>almost so quiet that it hurts your ears.
<v Speaker 2>Say you could feel it in your ears. Yeah, uh huh.
<v Speaker 1>So that is interesting that you had activity when when
<v Speaker 1>it was that that setting. I hear a lot of
<v Speaker 1>people say, you want to go out at nighttime or
<v Speaker 1>when it's a full moon, but I've noticed it's when
<v Speaker 1>the barometric pressure is up, when there's zero wind, you
<v Speaker 1>can see all the stars and you just get this feeling,
<v Speaker 1>like this hair raising feeling like you're being watched.
<v Speaker 2>Definitely, you know, I think, I think I wanted to
<v Speaker 2>say this before, but I think Minnesota could be a
<v Speaker 2>real good, good spot for the Bigfoot, Northern Minnesota especially,
<v Speaker 2>I don't I don't hear enough stories or see enough
<v Speaker 2>people you know, on YouTube or anything. I guess going
<v Speaker 2>up here and exploring and getting out in the woods
<v Speaker 2>because they're so marked woods up there. M anything could
<v Speaker 2>be up there.
<v Speaker 1>Oh. I agree, that place is super act and it's
<v Speaker 1>one of those states that gets overlooked when it comes
<v Speaker 1>to bigfoot activity. There is a Chaine I can't remember
<v Speaker 1>what it's called, something Minnesota, but the guy goes out
<v Speaker 1>there and he's always finding tree structures, and I mean
<v Speaker 1>these are really intricate structures. I don't know where he's
<v Speaker 1>at or where he finds these things, but it's really
<v Speaker 1>good stuff for sure.
<v Speaker 2>Definitely.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Do you plan on going back to that area
<v Speaker 1>in the future.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah yeah since the since we had our experience,
<v Speaker 2>I've been back there a handful of times already. H yeah, yeah, No,
<v Speaker 2>I'm going to continue to go back. Even if I
<v Speaker 2>hear and see something, I will continue to go back.
<v Speaker 2>That's that's my hunting spot. Like I said, somebody with
<v Speaker 2>my last name's been there for you know, seventy eighty years.
<v Speaker 2>So nothing's going to scare me out of there.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, until you run into a werewolf exactly. Yeah. Hopefully
<v Speaker 1>you don't though, but maybe maybe you'll find some clues.
<v Speaker 1>Definitely keep an eye out for structures, stacked rocks, strange activity,
<v Speaker 1>mark trees, strange smells, I mean, anything really that stands out.

<v Speaker 1>later whoop screams echoing through the snow, really gives us
<v Speaker 1>a lot to think about. Encounters in this region often
<v Speaker 1>blur the line between sasquatch activity and upright canine like creatures.
<v Speaker 1>The creature's appearance points one way, while the vocalizations points another,
<v Speaker 1>suggesting either more than one type of being as out there,
<v Speaker 1>or these creatures have a wider range of behaviors than
<v Speaker 1>we realize. What stands out the most is the general pattern.
<v Speaker 1>Cyril's grandfather, his father, and now Cyril himself have all
<v Speaker 1>experienced strange activity in the same part of Minnesota. When
<v Speaker 1>encounters cluster like that, it usually means these beings are
<v Speaker 1>long term residents of the area, comfortable enough to make
