I have to say something that I've noticed. <v Speaker 4>Oh no, okay. <v Speaker 6>On this trip, I've been called uh daddy a lot private. <v Speaker 4>By like a but people in this room. <v Speaker 7>Yeah, who. <v Speaker 8>Raise your hand if you've called them. <v Speaker 3>My young Cliff like. <v Speaker 1>And a few others who I guess will go unmentioned. <v Speaker 4>No mention them. Yeah, maybe outside of this group Gucci. <v Speaker 6>Yeah, no, I just found that to be interesting. Nevertheless, <v Speaker 6>I'm happy to be here. <v Speaker 2>Okay, yeah, the actual daddy of the group, Lucy James. <v Speaker 7>Hey, kids, what's for dinner? <v Speaker 2>Speaking about dinner time, they're deciding where we're going to eat, <v Speaker 2>so no pressure at all to find a place that <v Speaker 2>will see ten people last minute, Nikki. <v Speaker 4>Gang, shit's hard. It's hard. <v Speaker 3>You don't need to eat. <v Speaker 1>If we all just got soilet, oh yeah, I've had that. <v Speaker 4>And we'd be fine. <v Speaker 1>It's people, You're serious. <v Speaker 8>Do you want to guess who very much wants to <v Speaker 8>go to cheesecake factory? <v Speaker 1>All of us? Everyone? <v Speaker 4>No, No, it's. <v Speaker 1>Definitely not Nike too. Yeah. <v Speaker 3>Absolutely, But then we could go to the grove. <v Speaker 4>He'd pop at the grove. <v Speaker 1>Grove, what's what's that? <v Speaker 4>Oh, he'd fucking pop at the grove. <v Speaker 1>Isn't that me pop at the grove? <v Speaker 2>He's a bad boy of games media, Mike Manatty. <v Speaker 1>I'm popping grove, popping right now, popping off at the grove. <v Speaker 1>That's me. If you see a grove, I want you <v Speaker 1>to think of me popping. <v Speaker 7>No, nope, no. <v Speaker 5>No, I'm never gonna be able to look at a <v Speaker 5>grove again. <v Speaker 1>He's popping, he's locking, he's dropping. It's Dan Reikert. <v Speaker 8>Hey, how's it going. <v Speaker 1>It's going good, it's going great. Yeah, I'm good. <v Speaker 8>I'm a cappuccino guy. <v Speaker 9>Now you just got that out of a machine outside. <v Speaker 8>I don't know how that works. I seriously, I've seen <v Speaker 8>a million machines like that. I've never once considered using <v Speaker 8>one because I just don't know. <v Speaker 1>Cafe. <v Speaker 10>Yeah, I made on fool's errand. But this trip, I'm <v Speaker 10>trying to educate Dan. Right can invest my ability? <v Speaker 8>I know because this week I've learned that cappuccino is <v Speaker 8>the one thing you can order and they just give <v Speaker 8>you and they don't ask you questions about milk or sure. <v Speaker 8>It's just all in one. It's just like here, you <v Speaker 8>go drink it. <v Speaker 11>Now you know all the different terms, they're just no. <v Speaker 10>No, no, I'm not saying you know the terms cappuccine. <v Speaker 10>You know that the terms are just different ways of <v Speaker 10>making coffee. <v Speaker 8>All I need to know is that I ordered cappuccino <v Speaker 8>and I'm happy. <v Speaker 5>And that's what I'll do on the ship to watch <v Speaker 5>Sean be like the one like no, I can fix <v Speaker 5>Dan I'm not. <v Speaker 4>Trying to fix that. <v Speaker 11>I'm the only one of the patience to. <v Speaker 1>Explain you, sweet, you're in the honeymoon period. <v Speaker 2>Yea, a master of milk turble Shawn, Sean McDow. <v Speaker 10>That's what's in this cup right now. You actually, Oh, Lucy, <v Speaker 10>have so much to learn. <v Speaker 1>It's water. <v Speaker 8>Oh, it's working. <v Speaker 3>He does love milk. That's white water. <v Speaker 2>That the person I love just as much as Sean <v Speaker 2>love's milk. <v Speaker 4>To what we say, Hi, Hi, I don't like milk. <v Speaker 7>I neither do I like milk in the UK? Yeah, <v Speaker 7>but what's different about it? <v Speaker 4>It's actually milk. <v Speaker 7>It's actually milk. <v Speaker 12>It goes off in like three days this conversation. <v Speaker 4>With can't talk about milk with Dan in the room. <v Speaker 10>Now, hang on, what the hell do you mean it's <v Speaker 10>actually milk? You're talking to someone from Wisconsin here. <v Speaker 7>You want you open a cotton of milk? How long <v Speaker 7>does it last? <v Speaker 10>We meet Hollows It last like five seconds before through me? <v Speaker 11>Lucy? What do you mean? <v Speaker 7>You know you're one of us milk over here. If <v Speaker 7>you get it in a bottle, you could. <v Speaker 12>Keep that ship for like weeks, two weeks. You know, <v Speaker 12>I've had a at three and it's been fine. <v Speaker 4>It's been fine milk in the UK. <v Speaker 9>It's why is the thing you're describing bad? <v Speaker 7>Does it tastes different because it fresh? It's to fuck? <v Speaker 13>Yeah, we've got six categories, but before we get to categories, <v Speaker 13>we're going to read days one and two, starting with <v Speaker 13>does everyone have the dock up? <v Speaker 4>Sure? <v Speaker 1>Get it? <v Speaker 4>All right? Does everyone have DACA the doc up? Okay, <v Speaker 4>got it. <v Speaker 8>We couldn't bring it up when he was on here <v Speaker 8>because he was doing something else and Nintendo's weird. But <v Speaker 8>fucking Mario was sitting there the other night. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, he wiped his hands on me. <v Speaker 8>We talked to Mario and Mario in Wai Luigi, I was. <v Speaker 3>The plan to bring it up. You come to break before, <v Speaker 3>like you can't mention Mario. I'm like, well now that's <v Speaker 3>all I could think about it, like you're Mario. <v Speaker 4>It was great and we mention it now. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I guess wasn't supposed to ask. It's Jeff <v Speaker 1>old Scamp. <v Speaker 3>I am. <v Speaker 5>Sewn off the list right, Yes, did anyone play switter Head? <v Speaker 4>I installed it. That's about it. You know it came out, Yeah, <v Speaker 4>came out. <v Speaker 7>Also didn't know it came out about a month ago. <v Speaker 1>It's quite a few, like a dragon infinite characters. He <v Speaker 1>got there, you'll do. It's my favorite? Who is you? <v Speaker 5>Mine's the bad guy that becomes your friend. Okay, so <v Speaker 5>there's like fifty. <v Speaker 1>Cab driver that. <v Speaker 12>I was gonna say to Tomy is the guy who <v Speaker 12>we had the standoff last year and everyone kept thinking <v Speaker 12>it was a real guy. <v Speaker 1>Remember, okay, right right? <v Speaker 5>Min is the guy that is always cold and where's <v Speaker 5>the the jackets that he relates? <v Speaker 4>He runs the gang that guy. <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, it comes in with Yeah, he's awesome. <v Speaker 4>He's really good. <v Speaker 3>But if you guys feel stronger about Tomas, I. <v Speaker 1>Don't really feel strong about Tommy's. <v Speaker 4>I don't feel strong about either. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. <v Speaker 4>I think it's my Hey, I think. <v Speaker 7>Yeah, Toby annoyed me. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, he was going to betray me. <v Speaker 14>He also tries to rob you immediately. It's like not <v Speaker 14>a good first impression. You're good guy, good guy your mine. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, he's like like he was the one that was <v Speaker 5>like secretly actually kind of a good guy the whole time. <v Speaker 3>And I love that that. You know, it's tropes, but <v Speaker 3>I really like that stuff. <v Speaker 7>And he looks after he looks after his girls at <v Speaker 7>the club. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, after his like he once he decides to like <v Speaker 5>start taking care of you too. It's like okay, yeah, <v Speaker 5>you feel. <v Speaker 12>That warmth when he when he gets patched up by <v Speaker 12>like the older girl who works at the club, and <v Speaker 12>then she's just like, oh, he's taking. <v Speaker 1>Care of me. <v Speaker 4>He's very progressive proces working. <v Speaker 1>Exactly, very daddy. <v Speaker 3>So we're keeping your mind dropping to Masawa and yeah. <v Speaker 4>Cool, like you know, not as not as impactful. <v Speaker 12>No, I would say the what's her name from? Uh, <v Speaker 12>like a dragon who's the head of the Korean gang. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I can't remember me there. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, oh yes, yeah, she's great. <v Speaker 1>Anyway, we want to have these taken characters face off <v Speaker 1>against each other. <v Speaker 8>Look as you're saying it a lot better. <v Speaker 7>Which one is that I haven't played coffee. <v Speaker 8>Mill and also dances and kicks ass doesn't like how <v Speaker 8>much she likes coffee. <v Speaker 1>I try to hate her. I think it's, you know, <v Speaker 1>the flatization thing. <v Speaker 16>Characters get flannerized have so like you know, it's with Flanders, right, <v Speaker 16>So Flaters was like a little quirky and religious when <v Speaker 16>they protroduced them, and then you fast forward ten years <v Speaker 16>and the entire character is just fittly diddly dato, like god, okay, trying. <v Speaker 11>To say one note, she's one note. <v Speaker 16>I was just saying, just fast forwards. That's immediately It's <v Speaker 16>like all it is is coffee. Everything she says is <v Speaker 16>about coffee. Everything she does about coffee. And I get <v Speaker 16>why that's funny for something I find it annoying and irritating. <v Speaker 8>I thought, what Riena is that she's just bland. I <v Speaker 8>don't think there was anything so exact opposite. <v Speaker 10>She has been a cultural phenomenon in the FGC day <v Speaker 10>why just because she's she's the cool new female Michimo. <v Speaker 1>Character like lost her Yeah, yeah, I guess before the game. <v Speaker 10>Came out, but yeah, she is the new mel She <v Speaker 10>does spoilers for the story. <v Speaker 16>But yes, it is going to be like it goes, <v Speaker 16>she's like the new villainy before that story about she <v Speaker 16>was doing the whole like he he, I'm happy to <v Speaker 16>be here. <v Speaker 1>You you look strong? Then like do you turn them all? <v Speaker 10>Be like yes, it's really it's corny by fun just <v Speaker 10>everyone loves her. <v Speaker 1>I put her. <v Speaker 11>I came up with this category. <v Speaker 10>I wanted to put like her and Heisma on just <v Speaker 10>because of like how much everyone loves those characters. <v Speaker 7>I was going to say, I feel like from the conversation, Yeah, yeah. <v Speaker 2>This is like the long game we've been playing with <v Speaker 2>metaphor Ice made gets this. <v Speaker 11>Yeah, this is what we've been alluding to. <v Speaker 7>Yeah, although I will say I love my girl Helpenberg. <v Speaker 1>Lots of good characters, I mean stroll Yeah, good boy. <v Speaker 10>I also put both the four characters on, and I <v Speaker 10>debated who to include because I want to include everyone <v Speaker 10>strolls the best like best rank characters. <v Speaker 7>The best toll, skinny blonde, best friend character, and. <v Speaker 10>Like all the characters are also kind of trophy in <v Speaker 10>their own way, but they do fun stuff like Hulkenberg <v Speaker 10>is a fun mix of a bunch of the tropes <v Speaker 10>that they've done before, and just all the characters really shine. <v Speaker 10>I put Gelica on just because I want to talk <v Speaker 10>about I think she's a fun guide. Morgana could get <v Speaker 10>a bit annoying, and they played Teddy. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I didn't mind Teddy as much. <v Speaker 10>Teddy twitch Teddy when he's. <v Speaker 1>Also a bit problem. <v Speaker 16>Okay, afore that I hope gets moved that when they <v Speaker 16>remake that one. <v Speaker 11>Yeah, but Gallica, you know, she has some sweet moments with. <v Speaker 1>The potect is actually like an interesting character, That's what <v Speaker 1>I was getting. <v Speaker 14>I also like, for a significant early postion of the game, <v Speaker 14>she just feels that function of being the annoying help <v Speaker 14>a character for a while. <v Speaker 11>She does, and she has a growth. <v Speaker 2>Yeah death on Hi, I wanted to throw in the <v Speaker 2>protagonist in this category. <v Speaker 1>I was really happy that it wasn't a purely silent protagonist. <v Speaker 16>Yeah, I'm a little over that. I don't know if <v Speaker 16>there was like enough there for me to like really <v Speaker 16>latch on and like love that character specifically. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's why I didn't. I wound him not putting <v Speaker 1>the protagonist on. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, but like out of all the Atlas RPGs that <v Speaker 2>I've played, I've wound up like latching onto this protagonist <v Speaker 2>more so. <v Speaker 10>Then well, it's the only one who's not supposed to <v Speaker 10>just be a stand in for yourself. Yeah yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 10>so we can cut the protagonist. <v Speaker 3>Uh, we can got Terry as well. Terry is cute. Terry. Okay, listen, <v Speaker 3>I like. <v Speaker 1>Terry a lot. <v Speaker 3>He's got fun energy. He he walks around with this <v Speaker 3>like his arms curled like this. <v Speaker 5>You know, he's a little kid, and it is like <v Speaker 5>infectious to the point where now Addie. Whenever she's mad <v Speaker 5>at me, she does walk into the room like, yeah, exactly, saw. <v Speaker 1>That on the stream. <v Speaker 8>Yeah, I feel like Terry's the one I would like most. <v Speaker 1>Want to have a beer with Enough literally like a car. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, it's. <v Speaker 3>To pick him up. <v Speaker 10>It's funny you say that because you don't know haiesman. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, all right, you can actually drink. I would also <v Speaker 1>like to get a drink with Big Ron. That he is. <v Speaker 10>He literally is like, hey, you're you're a little young, <v Speaker 10>but you can drink. Here's some sock, Like, let's drink <v Speaker 10>for the first time. <v Speaker 1>Rough, like, you know, super serious all the time. Guys <v Speaker 1>so serious. <v Speaker 4>He's a good guy. <v Speaker 1>But yeah, I don't know if he hangs though, it's <v Speaker 1>probably not. <v Speaker 8>Remind me Big Ron and Tiny Tom Big. <v Speaker 7>Big Ron's Big Pies. <v Speaker 12>Tom's Tiny Pat who's the voice actor for Big John <v Speaker 12>Blythe used to work with him. <v Speaker 17>Yeah, oh my gosh, that's why I put him love <v Speaker 17>him kids. <v Speaker 1>You just make them a little bigger. That was good God. <v Speaker 1>But yeah, who you take between Big Ron and definitely <v Speaker 1>the most substance. Okay. I love when like Big Ron's <v Speaker 1>like it tire shops gets filled with pie and like <v Speaker 1>burst through the window, and it just seemlessly transitions into <v Speaker 1>him doing a commercial. But that's good. Who's Matt Matt Barry? <v Speaker 4>What is he doing the gardener garden? <v Speaker 7>Yeah, but the problem with Matt Berry is I just <v Speaker 7>I just I just hear Matt Barry. Yeah, I just <v Speaker 7>hear Matt Barry. <v Speaker 4>But I get happy when I hear Matt Barry. Yeah, <v Speaker 4>I get really happy. <v Speaker 3>Melina Way and so uh, I think it's so black. <v Speaker 7>It's a British reference. <v Speaker 1>So many people, the friends, family at home. Yeah, all <v Speaker 1>the unnecessary yous. <v Speaker 4>I heard them. <v Speaker 1>Spoilers for Hades too. <v Speaker 9>There reveal that once you beat them enough times, they <v Speaker 9>write another song because they're so fucking pissed about how <v Speaker 9>you've so many times because they sing the song. They <v Speaker 9>sing a song about you fighting through the zone that <v Speaker 9>they're in. And then you beat them enough times and <v Speaker 9>then they get She gets mad and she's like, I <v Speaker 9>write another song and it's about how mad she is <v Speaker 9>at you. <v Speaker 4>I think that's good. <v Speaker 9>Milinoe is great, but I in a weird way, I <v Speaker 9>need to see what the end of the game is <v Speaker 9>going to look like before I can. <v Speaker 1>Write how it works. <v Speaker 9>Yeah, I definitely can be Like, I like Milinay more <v Speaker 9>than either of these. So, out of these two characters, <v Speaker 9>Sylla and the Sirens seem more completed. <v Speaker 1>I would rather go with Silla. <v Speaker 2>The Sirens also just because as soon as you enter <v Speaker 2>that second world, you just hear her singing faintly, yes, <v Speaker 2>throughout the entire years. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, just fucking bangs. Yeah, like so good. <v Speaker 2>It felt so overwhelmed at first, and then just start <v Speaker 2>cruising through it. I think, yeah, out of the excuse <v Speaker 2>me too, from Hades. <v Speaker 1>Silla for sure. Okay, okay, well that's it. <v Speaker 7>We did, I mean, we have from I was going <v Speaker 7>to say, Gallic. <v Speaker 1>The boy we got five? <v Speaker 5>I can I ask my my crew, are we because <v Speaker 5>I feel pretty strongly about getting them on there, But <v Speaker 5>I know you guys have a lot of other favorites. <v Speaker 1>So I do like him. <v Speaker 4>I do like him, but I for this, I'm pulling <v Speaker 4>for a big rong. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 4>I feel like big deserves. I could see that it <v Speaker 4>deserves his moment. And also I think, then, goodness, your <v Speaker 4>head is of this moment. <v Speaker 5>Right, like, obviously I have a by so obviously we <v Speaker 5>got to cut more than this. But I would throw uh. <v Speaker 5>I also thought rain It was kind of bland. I <v Speaker 5>recognize a lot of people do like her. <v Speaker 10>She doesn't do a lot for me, and I get that, <v Speaker 10>but and I know Tam and might know this just <v Speaker 10>how much people. <v Speaker 3>Yeah okay, well yes, yeah, okay. <v Speaker 7>Is the one I'm going. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 11>The thing is like, I definitely want to see Hi's <v Speaker 11>May go all the way with this. <v Speaker 16>So, uh was Rain it diminished it because the whole <v Speaker 16>thing is like, oh, this is the new Hayachi and <v Speaker 16>then they just kind of brought that character back anyways, <v Speaker 16>did that kind of diminish Rain at all? <v Speaker 11>Just makes Hechi look dumb? <v Speaker 2>And my thing with you May is that in the <v Speaker 2>first like a Dragon, all those characters introduced were so strong, <v Speaker 2>and then like you Might, I do like the the <v Speaker 2>his character arc just doesn't Like I don't find him <v Speaker 2>to be as sticky as the people in the first game. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. I think that's the thing is like this is <v Speaker 3>a trope. They've done a lot. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, there are a lot of this guy. <v Speaker 10>You were saying to me about Raina. I've only played <v Speaker 10>the first half of NFA Wealth and you my left zero. <v Speaker 5>Definitely he hits harder in the second half, but I <v Speaker 5>don't think it's so much harder that he absolutely has <v Speaker 5>to be on here. <v Speaker 4>I'm okay with cutting your mie, Okay, yeah. <v Speaker 1>Okay, huge. <v Speaker 3>I then think that the fight is Raina and Scilla. <v Speaker 3>Yeah that's right. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 11>I did not play Hades too. <v Speaker 4>So I don't know what. <v Speaker 9>Here's I don't are mechanics in the boss fight that <v Speaker 9>the character appears in. <v Speaker 1>Do that? Does that matter for the character to you? <v Speaker 1>I feel like I think it does. It's a part <v Speaker 1>of the character. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, when you so spoilers for Hades too. <v Speaker 9>When you go into this boss fight, right, it's the <v Speaker 9>singer and the drummer and there's a guitarist. When you <v Speaker 9>take out you can't take out the singer first, but <v Speaker 9>when you take out either the drummer or the guitarist, <v Speaker 9>it deletes that track from the song. So when you're <v Speaker 9>listening to the song as it's playing, if you delete <v Speaker 9>the guitar, if you kill the guitarist first, then the <v Speaker 9>guitar track is just out and it's just from and vocals. <v Speaker 1>And then obviously other orientation. <v Speaker 4>Sounds like a shoe and for best moment, yeah. <v Speaker 11>That sounds less about so yeah, for sure. <v Speaker 3>So I'm willing to say goodbye to my girlies. <v Speaker 1>On this. <v Speaker 11>Sure like we're talking out more fans. <v Speaker 1>That's all right, I'm not going to die about it. <v Speaker 4>You know, she's got the devil Jean. <v Speaker 2>You know what, Nicky, we could potentially make a case <v Speaker 2>for Sila next year. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, I want to talk. <v Speaker 10>About that later, not now, But I want to talk <v Speaker 10>about its not done yet. Game's not out yet at all. <v Speaker 1>Well you I'm not playing until it's out there. <v Speaker 8>First of one, I was happy we played a lot <v Speaker 8>of it. <v Speaker 4>There's a full ass game. <v Speaker 3>And then yeah, okay, well that's our three win win. <v Speaker 1>Let's you want to talk about We talked about a <v Speaker 1>lot in previous shows. <v Speaker 16>But to be clear, he is just such a fantastic <v Speaker 16>character of the way he is introduced, different expectations of <v Speaker 16>what he's going to be like. He is kind of <v Speaker 16>a sad dad, but such a good version of that <v Speaker 16>in that part of him. It doesn't define him entirely, <v Speaker 16>it's very important. It's who he is and it impacts <v Speaker 16>him the entire game. It's not something it's like I'm <v Speaker 16>cured from being a sad dad, but there is interesting <v Speaker 16>growth there and here's more to him than that. <v Speaker 10>Yeah, and I think the fact that even Dan and Grubber, like, <v Speaker 10>wait the way are describing this guy's Actually. <v Speaker 14>There's only one other RPG character that feels the same, <v Speaker 14>kind of like. <v Speaker 4>Mario from Mario Super Mari and it's like a there's. <v Speaker 14>Something about an animal as like a yeah, it's Frog <v Speaker 14>from Chrono Trigger. <v Speaker 4>Yes. Seeing him, I'm like, this is a frog from <v Speaker 4>Chrono Trigger, and I. <v Speaker 10>Go a different direction because I get the biggest Barrett <v Speaker 10>vibes from high It's just kind of. <v Speaker 4>It's just like frog, frog is a frog is a <v Speaker 4>nice I feel like whatever you want. <v Speaker 2>I would occasionally maybe it was just like the line delivery, <v Speaker 2>but like get Real from Final Fantasy sixteen sid vibes, Yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 2>I see that, And. <v Speaker 3>Now are you probabbica? <v Speaker 1>Heis fictional bets okay, man, okay? Is this like a <v Speaker 1>shoot bat size or is this bad. <v Speaker 7>Human very the size of the child? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, okay, okay, all right. <v Speaker 4>The best new character goes to heis. <v Speaker 2>Ma from Metaphor Refund Times and he's playing the long <v Speaker 2>game Runners Up Raina from ten eight and then Big <v Speaker 2>Raw Big Run the Big from Goodness You're here. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, damn it. <v Speaker 8>There's a concerning amount of things happening that make me <v Speaker 8>kind of okay cool. <v Speaker 1>Ye, he's good. He's a ninja. <v Speaker 7>Yeah, and he's a trick boss. <v Speaker 1>You know what. <v Speaker 4>I think the. <v Speaker 2>Easiest comparison is that he's like an actually really cool <v Speaker 2>master Splinter. <v Speaker 1>Yes, I love Swinner is already pretty cool to the whole. <v Speaker 1>He's kind of like your father thing. <v Speaker 16>Of course, when there's a fishing mini game, he's the <v Speaker 16>one who teaches you. <v Speaker 1>How to finish? <v Speaker 7>Does he teach you how to shave to? <v Speaker 1>I love. <v Speaker 2>The birds and bees talk was very awkward, awkward, but <v Speaker 2>he did it did a pretty delicate way, and it <v Speaker 2>makes me feel too skeevy. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, of course, of course. All right. <v Speaker 2>The next category best compilation or collection. We have Doom <v Speaker 2>plus Doom Too, Castlevania, Dominans Collection, the Legacy of Kane, <v Speaker 2>Rocket Knight Adventure Resparked, and then Marvel versus Capcom Fighting <v Speaker 2>co Election. <v Speaker 7>I mean, I haven't got a single holes in this space. <v Speaker 7>I'm just gonna sit back and let you know. I'm <v Speaker 7>gonna make a coffee. <v Speaker 1>I'm just gonna see, like, who dare you make me <v Speaker 1>try and fuck with Tim on this? <v Speaker 8>I downloaded a legacy Kane I'm excited to finally play it. <v Speaker 8>I know Sam loves those games. <v Speaker 1>Like Who's Gonna focus, Who's gonna fuck with him? <v Speaker 8>I will say that I love those Castlevania g B <v Speaker 8>A and DS games, and I've been hoping for a <v Speaker 8>good way to play the DS games with you know, yeah, <v Speaker 8>the the easiest to emulate. You can do it, but <v Speaker 8>like it's not as easy as the GBA stuff. So <v Speaker 8>like Order of Ecclesia is incredible. That's one of my favorites. <v Speaker 8>So like just to have them all in a way <v Speaker 8>that you can actually play, but that's it. I have <v Speaker 8>not played this collection. The collection is amazing. <v Speaker 1>They're very good ality of life stuff and you know, <v Speaker 1>plus they added the original like Archaie version of Haunted Castle, <v Speaker 1>but that also remade it and made it a much <v Speaker 1>better game, and it's a very cool bonus. It's a <v Speaker 1>fantastic selection. <v Speaker 14>It's fairly good, the best cast Slovania games like in <v Speaker 14>one package. That is like I feel like it's one <v Speaker 14>of those games that I would be okay if they <v Speaker 14>constantly re released it in every every generation going forward, because. <v Speaker 4>I just want right And now they've done it. They <v Speaker 4>put it on one screen, so they easily could. Yeah, exactly. <v Speaker 14>I hope that it's a good enough collection that it <v Speaker 14>should be like I should have long Jevyes, want I. <v Speaker 1>Like more this year is that Marvus. <v Speaker 4>Gosh, that thing. <v Speaker 16>Everybody just wanted them to port mars cap come to <v Speaker 16>and they could have just done that, and yes, we <v Speaker 16>got that in all those other Versus games. Even throw <v Speaker 16>in the Punisher arcade game for funzies and god, the <v Speaker 16>neck code is. <v Speaker 10>Amazing, fantastic rollback neck co which is what you want <v Speaker 10>side as many people as possible can play it. The <v Speaker 10>games themselves actually run amazingly. These are the new default <v Speaker 10>console versions of the game, even though we're dream well <v Speaker 10>dreamcasts had issues and everything, but people are like, this <v Speaker 10>is competitive with playing the arcade version. That's how well <v Speaker 10>these games run. And just the impossibility of it all <v Speaker 10>where we thought we were never going to get these <v Speaker 10>games back, like it was going to be tied up <v Speaker 10>in licensing, hell and everything, and just that was. <v Speaker 16>Is this the one who has Puzzle Fighter or a no, no, <v Speaker 16>everyone that's that's been for a long time, okay with <v Speaker 16>puzzle Fighter, Yeah, yeah, that's definitely. <v Speaker 1>This is just the Marl Versus Captain fighting games, and <v Speaker 1>and the X Men, Children of the Adam X, the <v Speaker 1>Street Fighter and so and so forth. It's fantastic. <v Speaker 16>I mean, even if I'm not like playing it all <v Speaker 16>the time, I'm watching videos of it still almost a <v Speaker 16>few times a week's I just love that, like Marvels <v Speaker 16>CAPM two is relevant again, and seeing bits from these <v Speaker 16>other games and maybe didn't. <v Speaker 10>Play a kind of embodies what these collections should be, <v Speaker 10>and that they're bringing back these games for a new generation. <v Speaker 10>We have these incredible new fighting game players, you know who, <v Speaker 10>like the Sonic Foxes of the world, who are now <v Speaker 10>discovering things that have never been found in Marvel two <v Speaker 10>before because we're getting new blood in here and everything. <v Speaker 10>So it's phenomenal collection. <v Speaker 2>I want to say that marvel Ver's Capcom Fighting Collection <v Speaker 2>is a definite lock because it repopularized. <v Speaker 1>Dapping culture absolutely. <v Speaker 2>And just like I feel like a little bit of <v Speaker 2>the world was slightly healed when I saw Reu. <v Speaker 3>And Psyclops, DAP all over again, Doom and Doom two. <v Speaker 5>That's a really good collection. That's like the definitive way <v Speaker 5>to play them. But we've had Yeah, what is it, <v Speaker 5>it's just the big I think Yeah, Night Dive put <v Speaker 5>it together and they really just made it so it <v Speaker 5>like they just agal Doom, Doom, Yeah, Doom and Doom two. <v Speaker 3>Which that's the that's the thing. <v Speaker 5>There's been a lot of ways to play these games <v Speaker 5>in a pretty good state for a very very long time. <v Speaker 5>There are small improvements in there, but they're their minor. <v Speaker 5>Although it's it is still the definitive way to play it, <v Speaker 5>so worth calling. <v Speaker 10>Now important to note that that's also official now. It's <v Speaker 10>not like you need to do all this stuff to <v Speaker 10>a want to make a better version of Doom. <v Speaker 11>No, this is the official. <v Speaker 10>You go on Steam if you never owned it, you <v Speaker 10>buy and this new thing and it's like rated old <v Speaker 10>people's copies to it on. <v Speaker 11>Steam and everything. <v Speaker 1>This is the new definitive one. <v Speaker 4>That's cool. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 3>So it's just really good work. <v Speaker 5>It's Nightdive doing their thing to Doom and Doom too. <v Speaker 5>But we can cut it because those games have been <v Speaker 5>the time kind of just is doing. <v Speaker 16>Rock and I a Venture Resparks on here, largely just <v Speaker 16>because I really like Rockets. <v Speaker 1>It's just you, I love those games a lot. <v Speaker 16>I think more people should play, especially the original, and <v Speaker 16>you know, these games run very well on there. <v Speaker 1>There's not a lot of other frills there. It's always <v Speaker 1>also expensive for that kind of collection. <v Speaker 16>I forget what the price was, but it was like <v Speaker 16>forty bucks for basically like three sixteen bit era ROMs. <v Speaker 16>So you know, it does have to stay here. But <v Speaker 16>there's one shout because I love Rocket Night. <v Speaker 5>I did just want to did anyone play Grandia HD <v Speaker 5>collection this year? <v Speaker 1>Is that new? <v Speaker 4>Maybe? <v Speaker 1>Is it not new? <v Speaker 10>I think it's just a porpiause I played those games <v Speaker 10>on PC as an HD version of years like, okay, all. <v Speaker 5>Right, so maybe it's just an ord. Yes, it was <v Speaker 5>on the big list of games. <v Speaker 3>I just wanted to ask. <v Speaker 1>I could be wrong either way. <v Speaker 16>It definitely really is a collection on switch recently, but <v Speaker 16>I thought that might even been last year. <v Speaker 1>I don't know. <v Speaker 2>I didn't play though, somehow without being talked about. I <v Speaker 2>think Legacy. If Kane has wound up in the top three, maybe. <v Speaker 4>It's the luck that was easy. I think it's the luck. <v Speaker 11>Who are you that one? <v Speaker 1>I actually just want to know, like, is it a <v Speaker 1>fath yes? <v Speaker 14>So like I think even without I can make a <v Speaker 14>case for it being the winner here because one I <v Speaker 14>think it's the only one on head that hasn't been <v Speaker 14>re released in some former of the before. <v Speaker 1>It's been a minute. <v Speaker 8>I mean the Casilvania of the DS ones didn't really <v Speaker 8>get re releases before. <v Speaker 4>That's true, Yeah, I guess so, yeah, yeah, this game. <v Speaker 14>Obviously, these games got pulled and they people were like, <v Speaker 14>why the fucks is happening? And the people, by the way, <v Speaker 14>were a small amount of people. It felt like a <v Speaker 14>personal attack on a very small group of people. And <v Speaker 14>then when we found out, oh, they're remaking it or <v Speaker 14>they're redoing it and pointed out it was like really <v Speaker 14>really exciting and obviously nerve wracking. I think why it <v Speaker 14>deserves to be here is two of the greatest games <v Speaker 14>of all time that are also undiscovered for a lot <v Speaker 14>of people. <v Speaker 4>I feel like there's a lot of. <v Speaker 14>Value in having a new compilation and collection knowing that <v Speaker 14>a significant portion of people haven't played it. And it's <v Speaker 14>the same for like Marves, skapcom and stuff like that. <v Speaker 14>You know how we've got like finding a players going <v Speaker 14>back to it. But there's a joy in knowing that <v Speaker 14>there's definitely going to be new people that are going <v Speaker 14>to play this and discover that love and it's going <v Speaker 14>to be in a good way. They did some real <v Speaker 14>kind of light touches in certain places to not completely <v Speaker 14>changed the way it felt. I feel like what I <v Speaker 14>love about it is it's still a bit yanky to play, <v Speaker 14>but that's kind of like helps this game in particular <v Speaker 14>because at the time it was so ahead of what <v Speaker 14>everyone else was doing, so you get to feel like, oh, <v Speaker 14>this is what I'm playing this. It's slightly yanky, but <v Speaker 14>it's doing this before any other game ever did want that, yeah, exactly. <v Speaker 14>So it's like this is the first time they attempt <v Speaker 14>Someone attempted this, and if someone came in and made <v Speaker 14>it perfect, you wouldn't have that frame of reference, that <v Speaker 14>context anymore. You don't know what it was like to <v Speaker 14>play without a controllable camera. They put a controllable camera <v Speaker 14>in there, but it's not like free, free flowing controllable camera. <v Speaker 14>It just gives you a few more angles that you <v Speaker 14>can work with. It's still a bit annoying at times, <v Speaker 14>but you get that, oh, yeah, this is how it <v Speaker 14>used to be. They also, I think it deserves credit <v Speaker 14>for how they approached it. It was a Chris and <v Speaker 14>Andamis and aspire, So there's a person called Rainer Audron, <v Speaker 14>who is a kind of become the de fact leader <v Speaker 14>of the the legacy of Kine community. Almost she's incredible, <v Speaker 14>and they based a sole leader. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, exactly, the sole leader. <v Speaker 1>I don't get it. She's been in a soul reaver. <v Speaker 1>She's been in the community for years. <v Speaker 14>Like she's been in the community for years, and that <v Speaker 14>community is long suffering and it's been an uphill struggle <v Speaker 14>trying to keep it alive. And she's always been like, <v Speaker 14>you know, the head of the spear in doing that <v Speaker 14>and maintaining it. And a spy and Crystal land Amix <v Speaker 14>got her to direct this project, which is that's really huge. <v Speaker 1>I know. <v Speaker 14>The fact is like she spent years and years and <v Speaker 14>years doing a remake effort or re enhancing it just <v Speaker 14>on her own, just just because she wanted to make that, <v Speaker 14>you know, available to people. And the fact that they <v Speaker 14>brought her in and made it official is amazing. She <v Speaker 14>knew exactly what everyone wanted and delivered it paragraphics. She <v Speaker 14>put a little not she but the team together put <v Speaker 14>a little map in there that doesn't change things too much, <v Speaker 14>little objective markers. She went in and all the stuff <v Speaker 14>that was or some of the most of the stuff <v Speaker 14>that was cut from it made it visible and like <v Speaker 14>stuff that was unfinished put it back in the game, <v Speaker 14>but not in the game game. You can just go <v Speaker 14>to a menu and hit I want to play this <v Speaker 14>cut level and you just get to move around in <v Speaker 14>that level and like see what it would have been <v Speaker 14>like without integrating it back into the actual legacy of <v Speaker 14>Kane games. So like, the first game is brilliant, like <v Speaker 14>it holds up so well and it's the perfect version <v Speaker 14>of it. Same goes for the second one. Like a <v Speaker 14>lot of people like that, maybe more, but it was <v Speaker 14>I would describe it as close to as close to <v Speaker 14>an ideal version of a re release source Legacy of <v Speaker 14>Kane as they could have been. <v Speaker 16>It's it's like it's it seems like more work was <v Speaker 16>put into those individual games any other games on these <v Speaker 16>other collections, even though they have more games like Thomas <v Speaker 16>Collection and Finding Collection, they each have like their little <v Speaker 16>Tree to the Surprise Punish Your Game, the Surprise Hunted <v Speaker 16>Castle remake. <v Speaker 10>Right, So yes, it does sound like legacy okine, Yeah, <v Speaker 10>more work is putting to the individual games, which. <v Speaker 5>Is what I was wondering because it was like, yeah, <v Speaker 5>that's what I needed, and it sounds like that's exactly <v Speaker 5>what I get. <v Speaker 14>Bringing that those games to modern systems is not easy. <v Speaker 14>But that thing barely made it onto the PlayStation, like <v Speaker 14>they they have to cut an ending out of it, <v Speaker 14>which is and that's another thing now where it's like <v Speaker 14>originally it ends on a cliffhanger, and it's not a <v Speaker 14>good ending on a cliffhanger because the moments. <v Speaker 1>Before it are so. <v Speaker 4>Intense and so like edge of the seat that when <v Speaker 4>it ends, you're. <v Speaker 14>Like what, Yeah, but it was a product evolution like <v Speaker 14>ship this now, and they just could not find the <v Speaker 14>place for it. But now that you have this collection, <v Speaker 14>you get to go straight into the next part of it, <v Speaker 14>whereas mothers. <v Speaker 4>Like me I have to wait for years to be <v Speaker 4>like what happens next? So it's ideal cool, you know, <v Speaker 4>there's a part of me. <v Speaker 16>Like once a fight more for Donna's collection and mars <v Speaker 16>Cock was I like those franchises more sure, but like <v Speaker 16>you know, hearing what Tam says, you know, yeah. <v Speaker 1>It meats what I mean. <v Speaker 16>It's all that work playing into it. I have no <v Speaker 16>problem getting it to legacy of Kane. <v Speaker 10>I think where I'm coming from is like you know <v Speaker 10>this is outside of the conversation. I'm not the base <v Speaker 10>man of the legacy of Kane games. But that's also <v Speaker 10>now the category is is best compilation collection, and you're <v Speaker 10>really selling me on how much work they put into it. <v Speaker 10>When I'm talking about Marvel versus Capcom, I'm looking at <v Speaker 10>how they have preserved something that has been ethereal in <v Speaker 10>video games for such a long time. It has been <v Speaker 10>so hard to play these games, even just single player, <v Speaker 10>but let alone the fact that it has the best <v Speaker 10>online multiplayer these games have ever had. They I talked <v Speaker 10>to Masimos on EVO and he I asked him about <v Speaker 10>the physical copies. <v Speaker 1>Of this game. <v Speaker 11>I was like, did you do this for preservation's sake? <v Speaker 10>And you know, Transler is sort of like, you know, <v Speaker 10>working that he's like the translator told me that, oh <v Speaker 10>yeahs and mosas like a huge fan of physical media <v Speaker 10>because of that reason, like he wants to have like <v Speaker 10>stuff on CD and vinyl, and like he likes to <v Speaker 10>get his games that way sometimes too. For that reason, <v Speaker 10>that's why like the team want to put a physical <v Speaker 10>copy so that this game won't go away again, even <v Speaker 10>if we can't secure the license again or renew it <v Speaker 10>or whatever, the fact that those copies are out there, <v Speaker 10>that we made this the best collection it could be, <v Speaker 10>with the best online it could have. <v Speaker 1>We want this to be like the definitive way of <v Speaker 1>play this, and so I think that goes a long way. <v Speaker 10>But it's also very much just what Capcom is doing <v Speaker 10>with these collections at this point, and they're doing phenomenal work, <v Speaker 10>but it sounds like TAM's really selling me on like <v Speaker 10>the love that was put into making sure that the <v Speaker 10>Legacy of King collection was the best that those games <v Speaker 10>could be. <v Speaker 14>The final thing I'll say just to call it out <v Speaker 14>as something that is very very like a cool thing <v Speaker 14>they did is obviously that community has been in a <v Speaker 14>corner just doing its best to keep each other are going, <v Speaker 14>and now we have this moment where this game is out. <v Speaker 14>They bring in kind of one of the key figures <v Speaker 14>from the community to direct it. They also carry that <v Speaker 14>community theme into the kind of bonus content. So like <v Speaker 14>when you go into the bonus content, there's a section <v Speaker 14>for cosplay for fans and artwork from fans, and that's <v Speaker 14>I think that's really it was just you're part of this, <v Speaker 14>you will here the entire time, So we'll include some <v Speaker 14>of it as well. <v Speaker 10>That rules as supposed to say, Marvel word, it is <v Speaker 10>great to see all that, like old Bengal, it's really good, man. <v Speaker 10>But it is just that stuff that's been around. It's like, <v Speaker 10>here's a nice collection that sounds even cool. <v Speaker 3>Doma's collection makes can sip when you work on one screen. <v Speaker 8>Now, I like, yeah, screen, very very avid exists, and <v Speaker 8>I will go back and play. But like, yeah, I'm <v Speaker 8>not gonna argue against legacy game. And as someone who <v Speaker 8>is not really played Legacy of Game but always been curious, <v Speaker 8>I am very happy to hear that this good play it. <v Speaker 1>I might started bring question, guy, go ahead. Is Raziel <v Speaker 1>Is he vampire adjacent? <v Speaker 14>He begins as a vampire? Okay, and then becomes a race? <v Speaker 14>Okay's trade. <v Speaker 2>For you, Tam, between Blade or Razzio vampires. No, just <v Speaker 2>like vampire characters. I have to pick one either day <v Speaker 2>Walker of the Soul Reaver without doubt the. <v Speaker 1>Soul Okay, that makes volumes. <v Speaker 8>Yeah, Tam, what's going on with the dude's mouth? <v Speaker 14>So when he was thrown in the Lake of the Dead, <v Speaker 14>he that Lake of the dead is basically acid to <v Speaker 14>a vampire. <v Speaker 4>So on the way down. <v Speaker 1>The thing. <v Speaker 14>The character, what he looks like is basically what remains <v Speaker 14>after being dissolved, so he doesn't have a lower jaw. <v Speaker 1>He did that, Yeah, it's cool. Yeah. <v Speaker 14>So he uses like the sash of his clan and <v Speaker 14>wraps it around his face and holds it when he's <v Speaker 14>breathing souls. <v Speaker 1>That's pretty cool. <v Speaker 4>It's pretty badass. Before he before he dies, he looks <v Speaker 4>exactly like Saint John. <v Speaker 3>Damn, you're trying to think of his name that you got. No. <v Speaker 4>Wow, it's a very famous actor musician. <v Speaker 7>My brand with the scarff Lenny Kravitz. <v Speaker 4>I'll explain to you. <v Speaker 14>I'm gonna do it off Mic because I'm so embarrassed <v Speaker 14>about this. <v Speaker 1>Oh, it's. <v Speaker 4>Like you're saying something. <v Speaker 16>There's one thing about Mars capcom clectionion. It didn't give <v Speaker 16>us maybe the wow embarrassing. <v Speaker 7>I'm not gonna put on too late. <v Speaker 4>I mean, all the white people are upset. <v Speaker 7>The frame of reference. He just said, the guy the prestige. <v Speaker 4>No, yeah, I know, David Body, but my brain is Mike. <v Speaker 1>You're gonna say something about think about Mars couction. It <v Speaker 1>gave us maybe the greatest key art ever. <v Speaker 14>Yes, yes, oh yeah, So I want to I want <v Speaker 14>to do a p s A for people because I <v Speaker 14>it's so hard to find these moments. The Bengus R <v Speaker 14>is currently being used for the covers of a bunch <v Speaker 14>of Marvel comings. Talking about that is the biggest that <v Speaker 14>Vengus has ever been printed. I think unavailable, So you <v Speaker 14>should go into I went to my comic book store <v Speaker 14>and I was like, can you get me all of <v Speaker 14>these like. <v Speaker 4>Just on order? <v Speaker 7>And he was like, yeah, sure, whatever, James, Yeah. <v Speaker 4>James, yeah, yeah, he's a good dude. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 4>So if you should go out there and get it <v Speaker 4>if you love Vengus, and I definitely do. <v Speaker 2>All right, Best Compilation or Collection winner Legacy of Kine <v Speaker 2>runners up, Castlevania Dominus Collection and Marvel Versus Capcom Fighting <v Speaker 2>Collection as runners up. We're blasting tru categories, all right, <v Speaker 2>Next category, Funniest Game. All right, we got ours, Jewel <v Speaker 2>of Fairmore as Trobot, Infinite Wealth, Hell Divers to Indiana <v Speaker 2>Jones and The Great Circle, Rise of the Golden Idol, <v Speaker 2>Tactical Breed Wizards, Thank goodness you're here, Paper Mario in <v Speaker 2>the Thousand Year Door, Lethal Company and Content Warning. <v Speaker 1>I think if I could just speak because I haven't <v Speaker 1>spoken a lot you just watching hockey highlights. I just <v Speaker 1>don't understand a lot of these categories. I haven't said. <v Speaker 1>The game is probably not over, you know. I think <v Speaker 1>for me, I know what should win here. <v Speaker 6>I think the interesting part of this category is like <v Speaker 6>the runners up, Yeah, who does who gets? <v Speaker 2>Like the opener to the main events stand up act, <v Speaker 2>Like we're all here to see that band. <v Speaker 4>But what's the funny game that you think should win it? <v Speaker 1>It is the one? <v Speaker 3>Yeah, thank goodness you're here, right. <v Speaker 4>Wine, You know I. <v Speaker 1>Feel that way pretty strong. Same, I just don't know. <v Speaker 6>I think everyone finds their own comedy and humor and <v Speaker 6>a lot of these other ones. And that's going to <v Speaker 6>be the toughest thing to square. <v Speaker 8>Crazy, is that there are so many real contenders here, <v Speaker 8>because I have for the longest time thought the games <v Speaker 8>are not great at comedy comedy, right they are? <v Speaker 7>I have a last minute edition. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, Detective Duct Detective is really really cute, really really funny. <v Speaker 8>It's like there's like ten plus twelve whatever genuinely very <v Speaker 8>very funnymes. <v Speaker 1>Like all of these are great contenders here. <v Speaker 3>Funny for Oh they're funny for different reasons. <v Speaker 9>Yeah, yeah, right, like the thing about Indiana Jones and <v Speaker 9>like Lethal Company. <v Speaker 3>Right, it's the comedy you bring to it. <v Speaker 4>It's the comedy. <v Speaker 9>You're bringing the comedy to it. The games, there are <v Speaker 9>jokes and there is like comedy inherent stuff. Situation is <v Speaker 9>ready to yes to do the jokes on top. <v Speaker 4>Right, That's how. <v Speaker 1>That all for sure. <v Speaker 6>So with that said, I don't know if I would <v Speaker 6>like I don't know if like funny is even in <v Speaker 6>the top like four adjectives that I would describe Astrobot as. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, it's joyful, it's a music. Yeah say, Astrobot's <v Speaker 1>more whimsy than funny. <v Speaker 5>There's times where I'd go, uh, I can't believe they're <v Speaker 5>doing this, and then maybe laugh to myself. <v Speaker 7>It's more like sensible chuckles. <v Speaker 4>It's no, it's just not. <v Speaker 16>Let me say this about paper Mario thousand and your door, <v Speaker 16>and I'm usually you know, I'm always a remix count <v Speaker 16>and makes count. <v Speaker 1>The script is basically the same original, right. <v Speaker 9>It continues to be funny, but I do not feel <v Speaker 9>good about putting it. <v Speaker 1>I don't need to get yes very funny games though. <v Speaker 3>Vibert, Mario and Astrobot found dead in Miami I. <v Speaker 7>Don't think, to God, I don't think Rise of the <v Speaker 7>gold Ninils it's funny. <v Speaker 8>Scenarios are kind of funny. <v Speaker 7>This guy's on fire, and but I wouldn't describe it <v Speaker 7>as Yeah. <v Speaker 14>I agree, Infinite Wealth is a funny game in many ways, <v Speaker 14>but I don't think it's a new kind of humor <v Speaker 14>for sure. Yeah, for you and like that human hits <v Speaker 14>from me one of the time, but it's because I'm <v Speaker 14>very familiar with it and I know it, and it's <v Speaker 14>like it works or anything. <v Speaker 1>In that vein then, well, not really in that vein. <v Speaker 4>I don't know why I said that. <v Speaker 1>Sorry, out in the vein. <v Speaker 9>Mechanical comedy, Yeah, I think we have Hell Divers has <v Speaker 9>to go up against tactical breach wizards. <v Speaker 7>Tactical preachers. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, it'sscript. <v Speaker 1>There's goofy huge okay, wizards like working like. <v Speaker 8>At a seventies. <v Speaker 5>I was just thinking about pushing about the windows, like <v Speaker 5>that's the funny parts to be Okay, it's very fun okay, cool. <v Speaker 3>So then is it Hell Divers versus Lethal Company? <v Speaker 8>I think has content and Indiana Jones, Well, I thought <v Speaker 8>it was like Hell Divers to Lethal Company content warning <v Speaker 8>going off what Nikki said about how it puts it's <v Speaker 8>like a platform for humor. I think the thing that <v Speaker 8>puts hell Divers above it is it does have those <v Speaker 8>like situational comedic moments with you and your crew, but <v Speaker 8>it also has like writing and tone and even the descriptions. <v Speaker 1>Yeah exactly, Yeah, I. <v Speaker 4>Don't I don't know. <v Speaker 5>This doesn't work for me because I just when I <v Speaker 5>think of the funniest moments I had with games this year, <v Speaker 5>it was like Lethal Company and Content Warning. I actually <v Speaker 5>left way harder when we were playing Lethal Company than <v Speaker 5>any of the jokes. <v Speaker 10>And thank goodness year here, and I was gonna say <v Speaker 10>with content Warning, Content Warning gave Nikki the ability to <v Speaker 10>be hilarious on camera and they just ran with it. <v Speaker 5>That's an incredible stream. It's so funny and it's not <v Speaker 5>like best comedy game. It is funniest game. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, sure, do your rs whatever you need to say. <v Speaker 1>Oh, I want to be clear, I'm a huge that <v Speaker 1>like the number. I think. <v Speaker 16>Really hard, this is the one I like that the most. <v Speaker 16>So our Z was just people looking at those awful <v Speaker 16>cd ISLA games like, let's just make one of those, <v Speaker 16>and I'm sorry, Mike, oh no, that's Okay, I still <v Speaker 16>love you, daddy. <v Speaker 1>To fantastic. I didn't even flinch when he said it. <v Speaker 16>And they did such a good job of replicating that <v Speaker 16>and like both just being. <v Speaker 1>That thing but satirizing it. <v Speaker 16>And they're wrapping up in a game that feels like <v Speaker 16>that but actually plays well and is mechanically still funny <v Speaker 16>because it has all of that Jake and all that <v Speaker 16>weird ui and the just absolute bizarre animation, strange choices. <v Speaker 1>So the time was incredible. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, and the animation you really can't like because it's <v Speaker 5>like so unhinged. They never like look like they're tracing. <v Speaker 1>Over the last It was originally done by like some outsources, <v Speaker 1>some weird Russian animation studio original like this, like it's <v Speaker 1>it's not something that you see anywhere else, replicating that. <v Speaker 10>It's insane that it's simultaneously a parody and a really <v Speaker 10>good version of that concept. <v Speaker 1>It's so cool. Like my favorite thing. <v Speaker 2>About our is that is I have no real fondness <v Speaker 2>or memory of the Zelda CD I game, and seeing <v Speaker 2>this is like watching animation studio. <v Speaker 1>Break all of cinema rules. <v Speaker 2>Yes, and like every rule is when it comes to <v Speaker 2>like a traditional entertainment I just I'm just haunted by <v Speaker 2>the image of the wolf, just like kind of like <v Speaker 2>cringing and howling to himself. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's just like it was so good. <v Speaker 16>Just yeah, so many little like things burn into my <v Speaker 16>memory of these characters, that the weirdo in the bar <v Speaker 16>in terms of just games in general that had a <v Speaker 16>specific mission statement and then trying to nail it are <v Speaker 16>it's such a good job. It's so impressive to me. <v Speaker 8>Yeah, I think Technical Breech Wizards is funny, but I <v Speaker 8>feel like the passion is not. <v Speaker 2>I think I don't know if it's gonna Yeah, you know, yes, <v Speaker 2>I think Technical Breech Wizards is probably on my top <v Speaker 2>ten and it was really funny game, but I think <v Speaker 2>a lot of that is in the combat and like <v Speaker 2>a couple of the missions, they're more better written. <v Speaker 14>Than I think all the games on this This Tactical <v Speaker 14>Breach was it is probably the best combining the humor <v Speaker 14>of the writing with the humor of the gameplay. <v Speaker 2>But yeah, I get it, it's not It's also not <v Speaker 2>gonna be for everyone. It's a very text heavy game <v Speaker 2>as well. You can just skip all of that. <v Speaker 16>I haven't got to play any of Jones yet, and <v Speaker 16>I'm interested to see it here because, like any of <v Speaker 16>it can't be funny, like it's it's it's. <v Speaker 6>Funny, but like I think it's a testament to how <v Speaker 6>well it captures the vibe of all. <v Speaker 4>Of those films, like funnier than any of the movies. <v Speaker 6>Yes, it's funnier because it's a video game exactly, But <v Speaker 6>I would argue that, like the humor that we all <v Speaker 6>find in it about throwing a hammer at a corpse <v Speaker 6>at its butt, just watching it bounce off its butt, <v Speaker 6>just sort of laugh at that, I. <v Speaker 1>Learned a lot about you. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, That's what I've been doing. I mean, like I <v Speaker 4>thought that was really funny. He was, he was laughing. Yeah, <v Speaker 4>I feel like that. <v Speaker 1>Again. <v Speaker 6>It's maybe a similar thing Danshabat, where it's like I <v Speaker 6>don't look to that, it's like, oh, that's a funny <v Speaker 6>ass game. <v Speaker 5>Right now, I'm sitting it's surprisingly funny here, and I <v Speaker 5>cannot wait to get home and play that game again. <v Speaker 4>But I'm not. <v Speaker 1>It's not because I want to laugh, No, I want <v Speaker 1>to run. <v Speaker 9>Also, I would also go so far as to say <v Speaker 9>that it is funny in the same ways that Wolfenstein <v Speaker 9>is funny, Right, so it is not new in it <v Speaker 9>like for them in what it's doing. <v Speaker 4>It's like it is funny in the way the machine <v Speaker 4>games are funny. <v Speaker 10>Yeah, And I was going to say that, like as <v Speaker 10>someone who hasn't had a chance to play this yet, <v Speaker 10>it feels like every other game that we're talking about. <v Speaker 11>For this humor is very much one of the focal <v Speaker 11>points on the game. <v Speaker 10>Whereas India Jones is almost incidentally funny. Like I know, <v Speaker 10>it sets you up in some ways, and you know, <v Speaker 10>but it's almost you can kind of do them. <v Speaker 11>Most games you get also very good. <v Speaker 9>You could also play Indiana Jones and have it not <v Speaker 9>be funny. Right, there are people for whom they would <v Speaker 9>play that game and it would not be as funny <v Speaker 9>as they. <v Speaker 4>Make it, especially the people that we like in this <v Speaker 4>room the way we play it. <v Speaker 1>And then so I'm what we do is we find <v Speaker 1>the company. <v Speaker 8>I am picturing someone who like plays it like the <v Speaker 8>first person shooter and like uses the gun. We do <v Speaker 8>probably just like a really good like adventure for you know, <v Speaker 8>like we're just like. <v Speaker 4>I'm still not shot a gun. Yeah, I don't don't <v Speaker 4>to get to I am not shooting guns. <v Speaker 1>I do on occasion. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, but wait, would you say like the laughs that <v Speaker 2>you get in Indiana Jones and worl. <v Speaker 4>Like a yeah. <v Speaker 1>In the Dick to Death? <v Speaker 14>Have you? <v Speaker 1>Okay, seems like the best hidden type of thing there. Okay, <v Speaker 1>we are now down to six. <v Speaker 2>But I think the battles between Hell Divers, Lethal Company <v Speaker 2>and Content Warning Content Warning, Wait, thank goodness you're here. <v Speaker 7>Then there was of a similar ilk. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 10>I think we have to pick between Lethal Company and <v Speaker 10>content work. <v Speaker 3>That one really did set us up with the cameras <v Speaker 3>and stuff like that. <v Speaker 7>And I haven't seen or played Content Warning. <v Speaker 1>It's just someone. It's it's a lethal company. <v Speaker 3>Like you you are, you go, you start at this house, <v Speaker 3>you all wake up. <v Speaker 9>You've got these huge like camera faces with emoticons as <v Speaker 9>you can make yourself so you can. <v Speaker 3>Make you pick which you're yeh, pick what they are. <v Speaker 9>And then you get a camcorder and you get in <v Speaker 9>this big elevator and you go to Hell and the <v Speaker 9>goal is to create a video that gets as many <v Speaker 9>views as possible on this thing called spook Tube. And <v Speaker 9>you go down and you record videos of the monster <v Speaker 9>and people in your party running away from the monster, <v Speaker 9>and then you go back upstairs and you pull the <v Speaker 9>DVD out of the camera and you put it in <v Speaker 9>the computer and then you sit and you watch the <v Speaker 9>video that you just created just with all of the <v Speaker 9>video and the audio. And it's because you can drop <v Speaker 9>the camera, you can have different perspectives. There's zoom and <v Speaker 9>that you can turn to do selfie mode. <v Speaker 4>Like there's so much. <v Speaker 5>Stuff and it's it's literearly cut so as the person's <v Speaker 5>like holding the button, if they like actually let. <v Speaker 4>Go of it. <v Speaker 1>There's weird cuts YouTube editing. <v Speaker 10>It's a video game that'st us just give Nikki a <v Speaker 10>cam corder and then we had funny moments where like <v Speaker 10>a grub got stuck in this like Iron Maiden. <v Speaker 11>Then Mike had to. <v Speaker 4>Like to show to unlock and it was so far. <v Speaker 11>And it has audio too in the videos that you watch. <v Speaker 3>To buy the microphone so someone could be you can <v Speaker 3>still hear them. <v Speaker 10>Only like positional audio stuff that Lethal company has well, <v Speaker 10>we have like boomcs and stuff that we buy and <v Speaker 10>me like bump into face and stuff, and it all <v Speaker 10>works as you think it would. <v Speaker 8>You're like making bits in the game and then you're <v Speaker 8>watching it like being like Junior High with the camera. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, soft, we're just playing on the TV. See what happens. <v Speaker 2>The thing that it does it is like one of <v Speaker 2>my favorite bits of like when you accidentally keep recording <v Speaker 2>but you're pointing at the wrong the wrong thing, and <v Speaker 2>it's like there'll just be a clip of like either <v Speaker 2>Nikki or someone else that picked up the camera just <v Speaker 2>like quietly whispering to themselves as like. <v Speaker 1>They're walking and it's like, oh, okay. <v Speaker 10>And I know we're not getting too external here, but <v Speaker 10>just like broadly speaking, the way I've heard our friends <v Speaker 10>throughout the industry talk about doing their streams of it <v Speaker 10>and hearing their hilarious moments, I'm like, I didn't even <v Speaker 10>think to. <v Speaker 2>Do that, But that sounds as funny as us, though <v Speaker 2>it wasn't, like it's not just us, that's exactly. <v Speaker 11>That's why it's like just in terms of funniest game Boy. <v Speaker 1>That game company came out last year, all right there. <v Speaker 8>It's so smart too that the video you watch after <v Speaker 8>you put the DVD in it just a saves it <v Speaker 8>your heart. <v Speaker 4>That's a good idea. <v Speaker 8>That's the most sharable thing. <v Speaker 2>Okay, Uh does content warning go over hell divers? <v Speaker 3>Yeah? <v Speaker 4>I think so. <v Speaker 3>I want to say, I think I think content warning <v Speaker 3>a lot, but. <v Speaker 4>Hell there was kind many is like fine, but it's <v Speaker 4>just Starship true. <v Speaker 7>I think his name also came out this year. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, I'm sure, I'm sure. <v Speaker 2>I think the trouble with hell Divers too is that <v Speaker 2>there's an obscene amount of that audience that does not <v Speaker 2>actually understand the humor. <v Speaker 8>Yeah, actual problem, right, that's a human I mean it <v Speaker 8>is just the tone of Starship. Yeah, like they're doing <v Speaker 8>a great job when a lot of things have tried <v Speaker 8>to do that, like satire military stuff, but like this nails. <v Speaker 12>And yeah, duck detective, oh it's good by the missing salami, <v Speaker 12>it's really that's a good stub. <v Speaker 7>It's well, it's stolen. <v Speaker 12>And you're a private duck detective and you are like <v Speaker 12>a grim noir guy, but you're a duck, so you <v Speaker 12>speak like, oh. <v Speaker 7>My ex, she took the she took the bread, you know, <v Speaker 7>all that. <v Speaker 4>Kind of ship. <v Speaker 7>It's pretty funny. <v Speaker 4>And then you go to a like a. <v Speaker 12>Regular office and oh no, it's a bus depot and <v Speaker 12>you it's like the office of the bus depot, and <v Speaker 12>someone is still in a salami and then you have <v Speaker 12>to unravel the case. <v Speaker 1>It's really cute. <v Speaker 8>It's like a golden idol le like yeah, yeah, yeah. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, but you have to, like, you have to grill <v Speaker 4>other characters. <v Speaker 7>Grill character. <v Speaker 4>Detective. <v Speaker 1>Are the other characters people? No? <v Speaker 4>Different animals? Does the duck have a hat? Yes, black <v Speaker 4>and white? <v Speaker 7>No, his name is like hang on? <v Speaker 4>Is his name on? Like a frosted door? <v Speaker 7>Nobody has a run smoke? <v Speaker 4>He's got a Rundown apartment? Does he smoke? <v Speaker 1>Don't see Bob Hoskins and Roger Rabbit the secret? <v Speaker 4>Sorry you are? <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah on? <v Speaker 12>Wait wait sure you also haven't covered the fact that <v Speaker 12>the way to solve crimes is called you use your <v Speaker 12>powers of de Duck. <v Speaker 4>Okay, that's pretty good. Yeah wait wait what's his name again? <v Speaker 7>It's so good? Got a return of the Oberdin. <v Speaker 4>He's not as gritty as I wanted him to be. <v Speaker 1>Cute. <v Speaker 4>He's cute, but that's the that's what makes it funny. <v Speaker 4>He's everything is cute, but. <v Speaker 14>He's acting like he's in the most like dire circumstance <v Speaker 14>in life. <v Speaker 4>And I'm going to start doing that, guys. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'm going to just be a noir detective. <v Speaker 4>But here also, there's a lot of comedy in seeing <v Speaker 4>a duck detective, like. <v Speaker 6>Like these weird conversations she suppised, like he was like <v Speaker 6>unshaven a little bit max paying three. <v Speaker 4>What does it hang? <v Speaker 1>I don't know if it hangs compared, I. <v Speaker 4>Don't think it does either. <v Speaker 7>But why is it so bloody difficult to find this <v Speaker 7>character's name? Because it made me laugh? <v Speaker 1>We can circle back. <v Speaker 4>It's getting It's Gene mcquacklin. That's it. <v Speaker 1>Crumbs, beauty, beauty, beauty. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, I'm good for to go, but more people should play. <v Speaker 4>Just announce a sequel and it's like three hours long. Okay, <v Speaker 4>I'll put it. <v Speaker 14>It's a very yeah, it's very good, like sit in <v Speaker 14>bed and have a nice time going to play this. Yeah, <v Speaker 14>it's really nice with the kids. <v Speaker 4>Like it? <v Speaker 3>Yeah, okay, I'll do yeah. <v Speaker 1>And then I can't wait for the gimmicks to be <v Speaker 1>like a little noir should do Batty and Maddie like <v Speaker 1>as the kids do you. <v Speaker 3>Mash our kids names together? <v Speaker 4>Cousion dances on. <v Speaker 1>This so dangerous because it only let kids to get <v Speaker 1>obsessed with ducks. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, they really do like detective stories. I read them <v Speaker 5>a lot of children's novels. <v Speaker 1>Have they seen Detective Pikachu. <v Speaker 4>Yet I think I maybe I don't know. <v Speaker 1>If I did try to show it to my will, <v Speaker 1>they thought I was mad. Like everyone, all right, thank <v Speaker 1>goodness you're here wins. <v Speaker 4>Yeah right, I don't make that face yet. I'm just <v Speaker 4>saying for like confirmation. <v Speaker 1>I like that game so much. <v Speaker 16>I don't have any big problems it, But boy, that <v Speaker 16>ourz that make me laugh more. Yeah, it's I was <v Speaker 16>pretty targeted by that because I've been fascinated with those <v Speaker 16>CDI Zelda games. <v Speaker 1>Sure, like since the CD I came out. <v Speaker 16>I remember going to Best Buy and they had a <v Speaker 16>demo station and we played it there. <v Speaker 1>Sure be like what the hell is this? And having <v Speaker 1>that stuck in my brain. <v Speaker 16>My entire life, and then having this come out as <v Speaker 16>this sort of validation. <v Speaker 4>Made by people who had the same thing. <v Speaker 1>Sure it was just the most gratifying the same thing. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, content warning, maybe laugh more. <v Speaker 4>But let's say. <v Speaker 12>What I was gonna say is that what Mike had <v Speaker 12>for I had for growing up in Northern English. <v Speaker 3>I think that was a duck. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 14>One key difference I would highlight here is it is <v Speaker 14>funny for evoking a time when games were dumb and <v Speaker 14>funny and bad and content warning is funny, but it <v Speaker 14>also is circumstances and like you make your own fun. <v Speaker 14>The thing that I think really elevates Thank Goodness here <v Speaker 14>is like it's it's bridged a cultural divide in a ways. <v Speaker 14>There's British humor is very very very specific, unique, and <v Speaker 14>most people you can turn on a TV unless you're <v Speaker 14>like wired to get it. Like Backlot watches a lot <v Speaker 14>of British comedy stuff, you probably would just look at <v Speaker 14>it and be like, what the fuck is this? <v Speaker 4>I don't really. <v Speaker 14>Understand it, Whereas Thank Goodness your Hair is quintessential peak <v Speaker 14>British comedy, but it hits with so many different kinds <v Speaker 14>of people because of the medium as well the. <v Speaker 4>Way you interact with it, the physicality of it. <v Speaker 14>Like it's hard to like see the humor and slapstick <v Speaker 14>even when it's like culturally removed to another place. <v Speaker 4>You know, it's like I don't really get it. <v Speaker 14>But when you're actively participating it and there's a cause <v Speaker 14>and effect of the of the actual comedy, it's like <v Speaker 14>you get it more and you're kind of like, I <v Speaker 14>don't I feel like if you had watched a show <v Speaker 14>in which a man's stuff sausages through a whole. You know, <v Speaker 14>in British you probably would be like I don't really <v Speaker 14>get this. But because you're there and you're partaking it, <v Speaker 14>and it's like you get you've had a little of <v Speaker 14>lead up to it, and you're in the moment of it. <v Speaker 14>I feel like it's really really important for actually making <v Speaker 14>British humor and exporting it in a way that other <v Speaker 14>people's can at least understand it or experience it in <v Speaker 14>a like a microcolonic I. <v Speaker 5>Think with this game, what really probably does put it <v Speaker 5>over top is if this was the best comedy game category, <v Speaker 5>there's no. <v Speaker 4>Doubt this wins. This is the best comedy game of <v Speaker 4>a year, without a doubt. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think so. <v Speaker 8>About the hot tug part, It's. <v Speaker 7>Just like I was just thinking about that, we play games. <v Speaker 8>We're just conditioned like if something happens in the games, <v Speaker 8>like well, this shiny thing has to be here for <v Speaker 8>a reason, or they wouldn't put that ladder their for <v Speaker 8>no reason, and so your condition like, Okay, something's happening <v Speaker 8>over here, I'll go buy this hole and he just <v Speaker 8>keeps putting hot dogs out, all right, am I just <v Speaker 8>gonna wait here it's just gonna keep happening. It's just <v Speaker 8>like there to be funny. <v Speaker 12>Yeah, I mean if you don't about funny moments, because <v Speaker 12>the thing about Thank Goodness you hear theiry love is <v Speaker 12>that they'll have a joke and then you come back <v Speaker 12>to it builds on it. It builds on it, the <v Speaker 12>coming down the chimney. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, Ohn. <v Speaker 7>Shaking, He's just shaking really good stuff. <v Speaker 8>Like the funniest game ever played. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I think it's the nosest comedy game. <v Speaker 14>But another game, so I just have the episode is <v Speaker 14>like above and beyond, like well you have to go <v Speaker 14>shopping for the sick lad. <v Speaker 4>Hand is like. <v Speaker 7>When you're in the cat. <v Speaker 3>There's so many good jokes. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, all right, funniest game. <v Speaker 2>We have, Thank Goodness you're here with our Jewel of <v Speaker 2>Faramore and Content Warning as our runners up. We're going <v Speaker 2>to take a quick breaking break because we have three <v Speaker 2>more categories to go. I'm surprised we haven't had a <v Speaker 2>surprise category pop up. <v Speaker 5>Say, content Warning was number two there, that's the only <v Speaker 5>one that Yes, yeah, okay, sorry. <v Speaker 2>Mike, bye, and we are back and getting a little cozier. <v Speaker 2>Day three is getting a little bit more intimate we've <v Speaker 2>decided to bust out the blankies. Take the shoes off, <v Speaker 2>might take the shoes off. <v Speaker 11>Oh please, don't, please. <v Speaker 1>Don't everyone else. <v Speaker 4>I almost hugged his fot pillow earlier. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I said your life. I did. <v Speaker 7>I'll never forget appreciate, thank you. <v Speaker 4>I think if I want to, I can leave my friends. <v Speaker 2>We have already crowned winners of three different categories, and <v Speaker 2>we have three more categories to go. Starting off the <v Speaker 2>second half of day three with Horizon presents Game That's <v Speaker 2>Most Not for Us. The nominees are hell Blade two, <v Speaker 2>Send You a Sacrifice one thousand X, Resist Metaphor, Refontasio, <v Speaker 2>Star Wars, Outlaws, Funk Confusion, The Plucky Squire, Final Fantasy <v Speaker 2>seven Rebirth, Dragon's Dogma two, Stalker two, Lego Horizon Ventures, <v Speaker 2>and Dragon Age. <v Speaker 1>The Veil Guard. Do we want some easy cuts here? <v Speaker 3>Right, let's take a crack at make it. <v Speaker 4>Should we explain what's happening here? <v Speaker 1>You explain this category? <v Speaker 6>Yeah? <v Speaker 3>Yeah. <v Speaker 5>Basically it's like when we do ours, me and Mike, <v Speaker 5>we do one. It's like game that we at least got, <v Speaker 5>and it's like that everyone else seemed to love. Basically, <v Speaker 5>going for that the game that everyone else seems to <v Speaker 5>get that that we don't, but we're doing it collectively. <v Speaker 4>So as Jackson or I was going to say, if. <v Speaker 7>It's everyone needs, everyone seems to love, then like it's funk. <v Speaker 1>Of just out of there. Definitely, Yeah, I love it. <v Speaker 8>Why because No, I don't think really like game not <v Speaker 8>for anyone. <v Speaker 4>Oh, that's not for anyone. <v Speaker 12>It's it's like you know Dragon Age got Time Game <v Speaker 12>of the Year or something, right, Yeah, that's nine of us. <v Speaker 4>It's just that's what I'm saying. <v Speaker 8>It's gonna be hard. There's gonna need that people are <v Speaker 8>like metaphor for example, as much as it's not for me, <v Speaker 8>they're definitely are people and say it's going. <v Speaker 1>But I think with how much it's not for you right, <v Speaker 1>that bounces. We've had something. <v Speaker 5>So like just imagining our heads two sides, and we're <v Speaker 5>going to wait one thrusts for someone else will try <v Speaker 5>to figure it out. I think I know the one. <v Speaker 5>Like I just did a quick mentality. I want to <v Speaker 5>say we think the winner is because we kind of are. <v Speaker 1>I think it's Helple. <v Speaker 8>Yeah, yeah, does anyone really there's one? <v Speaker 7>How many times it long listed? <v Speaker 14>It bafter too firstly, like it's yeah, the disc or <v Speaker 14>like the qualifications for that are the orders one weren't <v Speaker 14>specifically for how it played. It is the audio romans, <v Speaker 14>which understandable, and the Baptist stuff is like it's a <v Speaker 14>British game, so there's like a that doesn't mean that. <v Speaker 4>It's like there's a literally a lot of people like it. <v Speaker 1>No. <v Speaker 14>Yeah, I definitely feel like there are a lot of <v Speaker 14>people that were into it whatever that's because they feel <v Speaker 14>it's the quality of the game. There's also that continue <v Speaker 14>of people that are going to back it because it's <v Speaker 14>you know, Xbox exclusive or you know that kind of <v Speaker 14>stuff Microsoft exclusive. <v Speaker 4>But there's I feel like there's enough of it bend <v Speaker 4>them around it. <v Speaker 10>Yeah, and you can't really argue against like for West <v Speaker 10>trying to do at least it is a very well <v Speaker 10>made game, and so you can't see. <v Speaker 11>What I'm getting at. Dan is like those components are <v Speaker 11>well made. <v Speaker 1>We just didn't like them. <v Speaker 11>So that's why it's. <v Speaker 1>It's not fun. <v Speaker 4>I'll say this like I feel like I I think <v Speaker 4>I would like this game if I played it. Help me, <v Speaker 4>I don't think you would. <v Speaker 1>I don't think. <v Speaker 4>There's take it back. <v Speaker 1>You're walking in sand, so much playing and you don't <v Speaker 1>have to about the beach. <v Speaker 10>It has one of the slowest openings of anger all time. <v Speaker 10>Literally you have to hold forward actually like trudges for <v Speaker 10>or for like ten minutes if you. <v Speaker 8>Like walk and talk like Gears Batman. <v Speaker 4>You know, just. <v Speaker 14>Because it just it feels like a game designed around <v Speaker 14>its strength, which is the visuals. What I mean by <v Speaker 14>that is everything else is designed to make sure that <v Speaker 14>the emphasis is on the visuals, which means you move slowly, <v Speaker 14>you have to look around. There's so many environments where <v Speaker 14>you're just walking. It's pad yeah, the beginning, middle, and end. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 8>The combat is very much like built around not it <v Speaker 8>being fun to do combat, but like, oh this is <v Speaker 8>resument on the face. <v Speaker 1>It's just you know, it's not about the. <v Speaker 2>Actually the problem is like those combat sequences are so <v Speaker 2>drawn out that like you're repeating the sequences when the <v Speaker 2>first time you do them they're supposed to be so impactful, <v Speaker 2>and then you have the same sword clash guys. <v Speaker 14>Yeah, and then like it's a very within the second account, <v Speaker 14>you realize there's no depth to it. Like it's it's <v Speaker 14>not satisfying, and it's like doing this Okay, I love. <v Speaker 1>How like you're like my like gaming barometer, Like you're <v Speaker 1>I trust you so much with that. <v Speaker 4>Thank you? Okay, Mike, are we good to take metaphor off? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? <v Speaker 5>Star Wars Outlaws. I don't know why that's on here. <v Speaker 5>I mean it's it's for me. I love some people <v Speaker 5>like it, but I know it's not for a lot <v Speaker 5>of people like it. Fine, it's in the middle. <v Speaker 4>It's fine. <v Speaker 1>I think it's mid not like repulsive. <v Speaker 8>I don't know if the amount of hype I've heard <v Speaker 8>about a thousand times resists from some people. I feel <v Speaker 8>like most of it I've heard has been from outside <v Speaker 8>this group. Is anyone here super into those I. <v Speaker 1>Loved? <v Speaker 11>I played for the I only got a few hours. <v Speaker 2>I would like the story, but the actual like getting <v Speaker 2>there is just like it's long and a reading. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's been a. <v Speaker 2>Game that I've played that you will be surprised that <v Speaker 2>I like Atomic Heart No, actually, no. <v Speaker 1>Shot like I want to be all right, we don't <v Speaker 1>have to do that. <v Speaker 4>That's another Maybe that's another KA recommend Jeff Games. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, like what I played without Exorcist, the like ten <v Speaker 5>minutes of it. <v Speaker 3>I played like maybe a half hour. I was like, <v Speaker 3>I'm sure this. <v Speaker 5>Game is fine, and I'm not like hating what I'm <v Speaker 5>playing here. I do think it's probably not for me <v Speaker 5>when I actually get down to it, but I'm also <v Speaker 5>not repulse by it or anything. <v Speaker 8>I think I am repulsed by the idea of it <v Speaker 8>in the way that I haven't since like disco Elysium, <v Speaker 8>where it's like I would fucking hate this the way people. <v Speaker 14>Thought disco Elysium slander. You know, you know it's called <v Speaker 14>a new vision of voice acting. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, it's fine. <v Speaker 11>I don't. <v Speaker 1>And he can't handle it. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, yeah, that's fine. <v Speaker 8>Did you know I wasn't thinking about the dice. <v Speaker 1>I didn't know the dice now extra super? So what <v Speaker 1>is it then? <v Speaker 8>Just that I heard super duper just talking ready? <v Speaker 5>I think actually the pretentious, right, which is like they <v Speaker 5>do what they do, they do that on purpose, they're <v Speaker 5>good with it, but whatever, we don't know. <v Speaker 2>I think there's parts of a thousand extrasists may come <v Speaker 2>off as a little bit pretentious. <v Speaker 1>I think that's what immediately drives me away from Let's. <v Speaker 4>Keep it around for now. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, Dragon's Dogma two is very huge. <v Speaker 11>Yeah. <v Speaker 14>Weirdly I love dragons Dogma, but there's something about this one. <v Speaker 14>I was just like, too, Yeah, I didn't. I enjoyed <v Speaker 14>what I played, but I just fell off of it <v Speaker 14>very quickly. <v Speaker 4>Maybe I wanted to go back to it and I didn't. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, this might be one that could. <v Speaker 1>Hang on here. <v Speaker 7>This game refuse so well and like, hang on, you <v Speaker 7>onto that Griffin. <v Speaker 1>That's exactly right, which is no very well. <v Speaker 16>I was never that into it, but even the people <v Speaker 16>were into it suddenly got very quiet when Game of <v Speaker 16>the Year. <v Speaker 1>Time people beating it multiple times. Also, I guess Warmans <v Speaker 1>was so bad. <v Speaker 16>There just wasn't quite enough depth there in terms of <v Speaker 16>like the RPG mechanics. There's definitely meats up there, like <v Speaker 16>you know, like with your Little Buddy guy. <v Speaker 4>And I liked the battle. <v Speaker 16>Mechanics in the way you can climb things, but it <v Speaker 16>just didn't really come together for I feel like this <v Speaker 16>sort going. <v Speaker 12>And I was gonna say the thing I enjoyed most <v Speaker 12>about it was the Monster Factory episodes did so. <v Speaker 14>Like, I feel like there's enough interest in going back <v Speaker 14>to it that kind of disqualifies it from this because <v Speaker 14>like it's not for us. We're not clearly saying it's <v Speaker 14>not for us, it's like we want to go back. <v Speaker 4>But I think this kind of said that it's just <v Speaker 4>not for me. <v Speaker 11>No, I'm I put this on list because this is <v Speaker 11>a hard not for me. <v Speaker 10>I tried my best, like ten hours in and I <v Speaker 10>like what even some of the devzon's game do elsewhere, <v Speaker 10>but just I felt it was it doesn't hold your <v Speaker 10>hand enough, which is weird to say about gaming twenty <v Speaker 10>twenty four, but it was of more guidance those game <v Speaker 10>It felt like they want to be here's our big <v Speaker 10>sandbox that you can play and go figure out some <v Speaker 10>fun to have in this medieval world, and I just <v Speaker 10>didn't have nearly enough guidance to even figure out some <v Speaker 10>of the mechanics of it. <v Speaker 14>Being obtuse can be used as an advantage, as from does, <v Speaker 14>but I feel like this is obtuse to a full <v Speaker 14>exam most people. I also feel like I had this <v Speaker 14>moment where the magic was kind of undone for me, <v Speaker 14>where they had that you know, they were like, oh, <v Speaker 14>I look at this, how you can take out this <v Speaker 14>oga and it folds and like grabs on and that <v Speaker 14>kind of stuff. <v Speaker 4>And I went on and people like, look at this. <v Speaker 14>Moment I had and it was the exact same moment <v Speaker 14>from like five different. <v Speaker 4>People, and that's when I was like, hmm, that's kind <v Speaker 4>of weird. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think that one can hang for a bit. <v Speaker 16>I'm curious about phisy seven rebirth because i feel like <v Speaker 16>I'm the only one in the group who loves that. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, and this is one why I'm like, more I <v Speaker 3>think about it. I'm sitting here looking at the list. <v Speaker 5>I'm like, yeah, when I was playing that, we did <v Speaker 5>that stream and I got to the big snake boss <v Speaker 5>fight and I'm like, Okay, I think I'm having an <v Speaker 5>okay time. And then also then I'll type to all <v Speaker 5>I hear is and then there's so many mini games <v Speaker 5>and all the stuff to do, and it just keeps <v Speaker 5>going on forever, and even the people who like it <v Speaker 5>are like, man, this thing just keeps on going. <v Speaker 4>And I'm like, this doesn't sound like for me. <v Speaker 8>It's actually Ring liked it for you know, a long, long, <v Speaker 8>long time. And it's like once you've kind of gotten <v Speaker 8>to the mini games, the combat, you know, you get <v Speaker 8>to a point where you've gotten most of the upgrades <v Speaker 8>and stuff, and then I just I think it might <v Speaker 8>have been Take told me that, like the back I don't. <v Speaker 1>Is good. <v Speaker 10>Yeah, I will say I with Mikey on this one, though, <v Speaker 10>Like I said in our review cast, I think it's <v Speaker 10>a nine. I think it's a fantastic game. It's just <v Speaker 10>I have some very specific issues with it. But I <v Speaker 10>like that the game lets you bypass a. <v Speaker 1>Lot of it. <v Speaker 11>For the most part. <v Speaker 1>It's a good game. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, exactly. And so if it's actually gonna yeah, I <v Speaker 4>still love it. <v Speaker 11>Doesn't feel good. <v Speaker 4>Characterization is very, very very I. <v Speaker 3>Think it's enough for us. <v Speaker 11>It just has some issues. <v Speaker 4>I'll promote systems. Main issues are pacing, like, yeah, there's <v Speaker 4>a lot of. <v Speaker 2>Pockets of that game that I enjoy Plucky Squire though <v Speaker 2>Plucky Square. <v Speaker 5>I know, and there's gonna be like a lot of <v Speaker 5>people do, which is why I'm like. <v Speaker 4>I wanted to like it. <v Speaker 1>It seems like a game like I was when I <v Speaker 1>saw it. <v Speaker 14>I was because we had and everyone was going to <v Speaker 14>fall in love with this game because I saw it <v Speaker 14>playing it and it was like, this is such a <v Speaker 14>charming little game, and. <v Speaker 4>People just didn't seem to give a shit. And I <v Speaker 4>don't know if that's because they genuinely didn't work for them, <v Speaker 4>or if because they couldn't read it. Yeah, I mean I. <v Speaker 14>Thought it was like adorable and so in like creative <v Speaker 14>and ingenuity in there, and the way it kind of <v Speaker 14>like inside the storybook outside the storybook. <v Speaker 4>I thought it was I thought it was like one <v Speaker 4>of my favorite games of the year. Yes, and people <v Speaker 4>just were like, I. <v Speaker 3>Just didn't enjoy anything things I was doing. <v Speaker 8>I just feel like there wasn't a lot of depth <v Speaker 8>to like there were ideas there that like I love <v Speaker 8>the two D three D stuff. I love the idea <v Speaker 8>of like, oh, we can do this thing where we <v Speaker 8>grab this word and throw it, and then I feel <v Speaker 8>like it never really it felt it was just very like, okay, yeah, <v Speaker 8>the most by the hand, the camera is going to show. <v Speaker 1>Exactly where to go. Yeah, everything moves kind of slow. <v Speaker 8>There's more talking than you'd expect. I thought this was <v Speaker 8>going to be like a Zelda type with some challenge <v Speaker 8>and twists and puzzles, but everything like, oh, well, here's <v Speaker 8>clearly what you do, and I feel like I'm just <v Speaker 8>painting color by numbers, you know. <v Speaker 1>That was just kind of bored. <v Speaker 4>Yeah. <v Speaker 14>I think I went into it not expecting a like <v Speaker 14>Nintendo level kind of Zelda style game or a Mario <v Speaker 14>style game. I just went in there thinking I was <v Speaker 14>going to be a charming little storybook thing all running <v Speaker 14>around and. <v Speaker 1>Maybe that would have helped. <v Speaker 5>I definitely thought this game was going to be for me, <v Speaker 5>and it's maybe this year maybe the game that was <v Speaker 5>surprising that it was the most not for me. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Yeah, me too. It was going to be very <v Speaker 1>for me. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think we can cut stock her too, because <v Speaker 2>I have a lot of interest in eventually checking. <v Speaker 3>It's not for me, it's my kind of bullshit, so <v Speaker 3>I'm like ready for it. <v Speaker 12>It's just I'm just not interested in the jank. Wasn't <v Speaker 12>having I'm going to wait really fun time playing it. <v Speaker 12>I wasn't even it was a bit buggy for me. <v Speaker 12>It wasn't that buggy, but it was just like, I <v Speaker 12>don't know, I I think I would get too. I <v Speaker 12>was getting too distracted because it's so slow and it's arduous, <v Speaker 12>and I think it's not me because I'm not in <v Speaker 12>a place right now where I want that. <v Speaker 7>I need something that's going to be more engaging, and <v Speaker 7>so it's not for me. <v Speaker 8>I feel like that's setting of just that kind of <v Speaker 8>like you know, Metro style apocalypse, Like I just find <v Speaker 8>that you have. <v Speaker 4>To have a high tolerance for games that are trying <v Speaker 4>to push you away. <v Speaker 3>And that's what that game that's my patient, like a <v Speaker 3>game back on it. <v Speaker 4>It's an uphill struggle. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's like the opposite of an astro we missed. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, the most impressive. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Okay, so it's staying. <v Speaker 8>Seem like people have interested in it, so I think <v Speaker 8>we take it, yeah. <v Speaker 4>Lose it. <v Speaker 2>I think we can also cut Lego Horizon Adventures, mostly <v Speaker 2>because I also don't know. <v Speaker 1>Who it is for right, It's like it. <v Speaker 7>Taste game of the year is not that game? <v Speaker 1>What's the game of the year? Did did a list? <v Speaker 1>I don't know if you guys know this. <v Speaker 4>Wrote an entire list. There's I think there's not a right. <v Speaker 7>Giant free line assignment. You gave him a free lens assignment. <v Speaker 4>You know, he was he wanted to do it, and <v Speaker 4>he said he's like I can type it up. <v Speaker 18>It sounds like he's on the puff to wanting to <v Speaker 18>be a game journalist. He's not, you know, criminal only insane. <v Speaker 18>But no, it's on that list, but it's not his best. <v Speaker 3>Walk a game of the We could drop Lego then <v Speaker 3>probably Okay, Uh, some of did. <v Speaker 1>Some of us like Dragon Age the Veil Guard sign with. <v Speaker 9>It, only I haven't played it because I'm waiting for <v Speaker 9>to have time to play it. <v Speaker 7>Yeah, I finished it. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, this might be a mood. <v Speaker 12>I think it's I was going to say, I think <v Speaker 12>the one I was surprised at some of the schools. <v Speaker 7>I was very surprised at the Game of the Year thing. <v Speaker 7>So that's why I put it on the list. I <v Speaker 7>think it's it's appointing. <v Speaker 1>I think my expectations for. <v Speaker 4>And it was like, I don't know. <v Speaker 1>I was a little shocked in some of the directions <v Speaker 1>they went. It's the scope of it. <v Speaker 3>I heard good things and then now I'm hearing mid previly. <v Speaker 4>Well it starts. <v Speaker 14>It starts very strong, yes, okay, and then I think <v Speaker 14>the issue is that you're always waiting for yourself to <v Speaker 14>build that bio or attachment and it never comes, but <v Speaker 14>you're constantly you feel like it's almost there. <v Speaker 4>It's one of the most frustrating. <v Speaker 14>Games because you talk to a character and you have <v Speaker 14>a conversation, You're like, you almost said something meaningful there, <v Speaker 14>but I didn't do. <v Speaker 16>It's not a great cast, right, It's not like the <v Speaker 16>best set of companions. That's something that helps metaphor out <v Speaker 16>so much is how the opinions are. <v Speaker 7>Yeah, I mean I also the development of it rough <v Speaker 7>free period. <v Speaker 12>You can tell there are ideas that are not fully realized, <v Speaker 12>and there are certainly characters that are not fully like <v Speaker 12>Lucanis has a demon inside him. <v Speaker 4>And that that never goes anymore does it. <v Speaker 9>Are there points of it that feel like vestiges of <v Speaker 9>the previous game that they the previous version of the <v Speaker 9>game that they were like the. <v Speaker 4>Lot Economy, Yeah, chunks of it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 12>So it was meant to be a live service game, <v Speaker 12>and it has so many things of armor. I have <v Speaker 12>so many weapons, different colors, you can like change the <v Speaker 12>appearance and color and everything. I'm just like this is <v Speaker 12>too much, too over and like the skill point, the <v Speaker 12>skill tree, it's so weird. Yeah, it's like that's where <v Speaker 12>so much of the investment has gone because the actual. <v Speaker 7>Role playing in it is not there. <v Speaker 4>Yeah. <v Speaker 12>Yeah, I feel like like you are I'm paraphrasing Ralph <v Speaker 12>from Skill up here, but it's You're not Paragne Renegade <v Speaker 12>Middle of the Road. You are three versions of the <v Speaker 12>same Quippi guy. <v Speaker 4>Yeah. <v Speaker 7>Even even the mean responses are not mean. <v Speaker 14>Yeah, this is going to be like a very sound <v Speaker 14>like a really backhanded compliment, but I genuinely mean it. <v Speaker 4>I think it's a very good restitching job, if you <v Speaker 4>know what I mean. There's pieces of that game it <v Speaker 4>clearly fell apart. <v Speaker 14>Many times when I think about that and see the <v Speaker 14>game in front of me, I find it very impressive <v Speaker 14>that they were able to take those pieces and put <v Speaker 14>together a game that looks really nice functions in a <v Speaker 14>lot of ways. I guarantee that that must have been <v Speaker 14>a nightmare for that studio, and the thing that came <v Speaker 14>out of it from a development, design and execution perspective <v Speaker 14>is very impressive. It's just the thing itself is not. <v Speaker 14>It doesn't have the heart and soul. That's because it's <v Speaker 14>a camera of different things. There's no one soul in it. <v Speaker 5>This category kind of is the spiritual successor the most disappointing. <v Speaker 5>Do we want to kind of keep this on here. <v Speaker 3>For that reason or. <v Speaker 12>I think it's fine to go because I think a <v Speaker 12>lot of people did really like it. But then there <v Speaker 12>was this swell of the game came out and all <v Speaker 12>the hardcore Dragon Age fans like, don't go on the <v Speaker 12>sub Breddit because oh god, yeah. <v Speaker 4>Maybe preview so well, yeah, it previews. <v Speaker 14>So I gave it a very positive preview because the <v Speaker 14>areas we played were and it's a classic preview thing. <v Speaker 14>It always happens when you play different slices of a game. <v Speaker 14>And I played different three different slices of the game, <v Speaker 14>and I previewed it and I was like, oh, this <v Speaker 14>has got it's got the potential to do. <v Speaker 4>What's going on behind me? No, I'm trying to understand, Mike. <v Speaker 1>I'm sorry me, What did I do? <v Speaker 4>Nothing? You're beautiful boy. <v Speaker 1>Thank you. <v Speaker 14>It priving really well and I had high hopes for it, <v Speaker 14>which is why I'm like quite disappointed about what it became. <v Speaker 14>But again, like it's it's not a major disappointment for <v Speaker 14>a boy's winning game of sounds. <v Speaker 1>I think it's a very pretty game. <v Speaker 2>Yeah yeah, I think I, like a lot of a <v Speaker 2>thousand extra resists that we can cut it, yeah, because <v Speaker 2>I feel like it resonates with me on. <v Speaker 1>Two people like Lucky Squire. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, I mean I like it enough. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, Yeah, I feel I think I'm a growth cutting <v Speaker 5>one that was resists because I think it's not for me. <v Speaker 3>And yet when I was playing I'm like, I think <v Speaker 3>I might be fine with this. <v Speaker 10>Actually, I feels like there's enough appreciation for the game. <v Speaker 4>At least I enjoyed it. I am eager to play more. <v Speaker 8>Yeah, and I feel like that said the quote from <v Speaker 8>giant Bomb on the review page on the team is <v Speaker 8>not from Giant Bomb. <v Speaker 1>They just lied about that. <v Speaker 4>Really. <v Speaker 8>Giant Bomb says a thing that was from not any <v Speaker 8>of our lists. I will look into that little stuff. <v Speaker 4>Ok, that's a good top three. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it seems like two is the one that didn't <v Speaker 1>have any defenders. Yeah, I went back and beat the game. <v Speaker 1>Why he did the nine nine nine thing come on? <v Speaker 1>Like problems? Yes, I get it. <v Speaker 2>Uh, And just because I was thinking, like, there's so <v Speaker 2>many people talking about and there's been so much hype <v Speaker 2>leading up to this that like there has to be <v Speaker 2>something at the very end of it. And just yeah, <v Speaker 2>you were just repeating the same thing. You all remember <v Speaker 2>that one iPad like medieval. <v Speaker 4>Game like yeah. <v Speaker 3>Video everyone, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it felt like that. <v Speaker 4>Like phone memories of playing. <v Speaker 8>Yeah, this is the type of game that will like <v Speaker 8>really impress people who don't play games. <v Speaker 1>It's just because wow, it looks really cool. <v Speaker 8>It's a video game that's talking about mental health and <v Speaker 8>stuff and doesn't really know how to actually talk about <v Speaker 8>video games. <v Speaker 4>And ado game for television. <v Speaker 14>Yeah, I tried so hard to I was not enjoying <v Speaker 14>it so much that I tried to recontextualize how I <v Speaker 14>was playing it to see if it works. Like I <v Speaker 14>started playing it on streaming via Xbox on a laptop <v Speaker 14>while I was watching TV, to be like, maybe I. <v Speaker 4>Can have fun this way. And it was annoying. Even <v Speaker 4>though I wasn't paying any attention to it, it was <v Speaker 4>pissing me off. Just crazy. It's like every scenario played <v Speaker 4>it and I was like frustrated by it. <v Speaker 3>I think I was like climbing up those rocks and I. <v Speaker 5>Thought it was a cut scene because I was like, oh, <v Speaker 5>it's a cut scene. <v Speaker 4>I let go and then she stopped moving and I. <v Speaker 1>Was like, what the fuck. <v Speaker 4>Is not for me? <v Speaker 14>Like matching symbols, mechanics, like it's cute. It was cute <v Speaker 14>the first time. That is like, it's the most offensive <v Speaker 14>way to put gameplay into a game. It's like, how <v Speaker 14>do we make this feel like a game? Oh yeah, <v Speaker 14>it's got movement, but we need something game just to <v Speaker 14>get it over into the game category and it's like <v Speaker 14>match these symbols and. <v Speaker 1>Stuff when they do that over and over again. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>so frustrating puzzle. Yeah. The audio design it's cool. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. <v Speaker 14>Also I'm getting to a point of like being kind <v Speaker 14>of unkind to it. But I just want to say <v Speaker 14>it that that studio I don't I really. <v Speaker 4>Don't like that. This is the game, this is how <v Speaker 4>it's it's what it's like. Nature theory is like love, Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Love and I they may and are if they may <v Speaker 1>in are DMC. <v Speaker 4>Like you want rest and enslave to. I have to <v Speaker 4>believe that there was some hands tied to make this <v Speaker 4>game happen because it's. <v Speaker 7>Just because it's their performance capture tech. <v Speaker 14>Yeah, exactly, the real which is incredible. And I worry <v Speaker 14>about that studio because I went there a few times. <v Speaker 14>I spoke to a bunch of people a few times, <v Speaker 14>and the thing I always took away from them, the <v Speaker 14>heart and soul of that studio, was they. <v Speaker 4>Would take. <v Speaker 14>No no, no, no no, they take They take the <v Speaker 14>meager equipment that they have and makes incredible things happen. <v Speaker 1>Like hew blay. <v Speaker 14>The first game was an achievement because they didn't have <v Speaker 14>any of the specialist technology that people used to do <v Speaker 14>that stuff. They just rigged cameras and Molina was like <v Speaker 14>a video editor that they used as a an actor, <v Speaker 14>and that was like, that is the soul of their games. <v Speaker 14>And now they're backed by a billion dollar corporation and <v Speaker 14>I'm just like, I don't do this even. <v Speaker 1>I want to say this. <v Speaker 11>It feels like joker too. I thought that was. <v Speaker 3>Did you see that too? Yes, I bet my phone <v Speaker 3>to watch on the. <v Speaker 1>I really want to say, like, I like musicals and <v Speaker 1>it is not one of those. <v Speaker 4>See Coogan is a joker too. What is your not <v Speaker 4>come going or something? Thanks? I just do want to say, <v Speaker 4>like I said a lot of negative things. <v Speaker 1>I still have fleting at that studio. <v Speaker 4>I believe. I think the meme left. <v Speaker 14>But there's a whole bunch of people that I know <v Speaker 14>there have spoken to that know how to make games, <v Speaker 14>love how love making games, and love playing games, and. <v Speaker 4>I hope that they get to be who they are again. <v Speaker 6>What is Andy Circus's involvement in that studio in the Imaginarium, Yeah, <v Speaker 6>he was the guy enslaved as all. <v Speaker 4>Yeah he was. <v Speaker 12>I think he maybe performance directed it, but he definitely <v Speaker 12>was played monkey performance captured him. <v Speaker 7>Alex Goland wrote that one, Yeah, I don't think he <v Speaker 7>was involved in hel Blade. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I would love to see them on deshackled from ye. <v Speaker 4>I really hope that this is the I mean, you're <v Speaker 4>a bad game expect. I really hope that helped Blade <v Speaker 4>goes away. <v Speaker 1>There are a lot of people out there that do <v Speaker 1>enjoy Hillblay too. Oh yeah, there very many are. Again, <v Speaker 1>do we know anyone? <v Speaker 11>Later? <v Speaker 2>The Horizon presents game that's most not for us winner <v Speaker 2>hell Blay two sending was Sacrifice, the Pluck Is Choir <v Speaker 2>and Dragon's Dog, but two as the runner ups Runners Ups, <v Speaker 2>Runners Runners, Enters, Up Ups Runners. <v Speaker 4>Now we have the. <v Speaker 2>Second last category of the day, hit Man presents game <v Speaker 2>that's most for us. <v Speaker 1>Yeah tough. <v Speaker 4>I always not involved in this in any capacity. I <v Speaker 4>mean like, I mean like they're not endorsing this awarder <v Speaker 4>those Horizon did endorse the. <v Speaker 1>Goose. We really like the leaf Blower. You have to <v Speaker 1>put leg Horizon in. <v Speaker 2>The nominees are Nintendo World Championships, Astrobot Point, Nova Yards, Revenge, <v Speaker 2>Mini Shoot Adventures, Balatro, Pokemon TCGP, Indiana Jones In the <v Speaker 2>Great Circle, Rise of the Golden Idol, I'm sure there's <v Speaker 2>more titles. <v Speaker 4>That may not lower line. Yeah. Yeah. <v Speaker 8>I want to make a note here that if Nintendo <v Speaker 8>World Championships had been the game we expected it would be, <v Speaker 8>then a lot of people on like like four or <v Speaker 8>five of us. <v Speaker 1>I know for sure it's super up our. <v Speaker 8>Early and why don't we still have fun with it? <v Speaker 5>So if it was that game, it would be, it <v Speaker 5>would winning awards, it would be in the Game of <v Speaker 5>the Year category, it would like absolutely so I still <v Speaker 5>had a ton of fun with it, played a lot <v Speaker 5>of a lot of it. <v Speaker 3>Yes, so I think it's still. <v Speaker 1>Very much for me. <v Speaker 8>I mean, it's that leaderword thing is such a stupid <v Speaker 8>move that, like, I don't I liked it, But I don't. <v Speaker 1>Say, oh, this is super for me. <v Speaker 16>If they think that, yeah, it's a little disappoint it's <v Speaker 16>not very disappointing. I still enjoyed the game, had a <v Speaker 16>lot of fun with it, but disapplying enough. Plus there's <v Speaker 16>enough people here who also don't care at all. I <v Speaker 16>think about that scramble. Yeah, I understandably, and I. <v Speaker 5>Probably would try to get on the top three without <v Speaker 5>you guys, there's no chance. <v Speaker 3>So yeah, let's cut it, Okay, I'm going to have <v Speaker 3>you fifty. <v Speaker 1>But I know it's not for everyone here. But there's <v Speaker 1>a freaking games. Yeah, there's there's two games. I really <v Speaker 1>like Party Party, Yeah. <v Speaker 4>Mortal Mortal. <v Speaker 1>I's one of the v just jumping up constantly like <v Speaker 1>something griss like Belgress. It's like good goodle jump yep, yeah, <v Speaker 1>good doodles, right, okay, a doodle jump on you. <v Speaker 4>I'm kind of trying to figure out, like is this <v Speaker 4>for how much it is for us as a team <v Speaker 4>or how much it is for a team like individual people. <v Speaker 3>I mean, like coming I would be like, yeah, that <v Speaker 3>sounds like a game the crew of. <v Speaker 4>A giant bomb would like, yeah, the. <v Speaker 1>Most it's not going to be yeah yeah. <v Speaker 14>Because my I was gonna point like there is no <v Speaker 14>game that's more for me than Solar either, like right, <v Speaker 14>you know what I mean? Like it it feels like <v Speaker 14>it's crazy because I've been bitching and moaning for the lost, <v Speaker 14>I think. <v Speaker 11>That it's valid to put on them. <v Speaker 4>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I also added. <v Speaker 2>Content warning yeah yeah, I go call yeah, just because <v Speaker 2>other than being like a fantastic game to stream, I <v Speaker 2>feel like it's uniquely geared towards us being like dumb. <v Speaker 8>How many people were anywhere near my enthusiasm for many shoots, and. <v Speaker 5>I really wanted to get it'll be on my time. <v Speaker 1>There's so many that's like me grew up in. I know. <v Speaker 1>I wonder why that's weird. We have some similar tastes. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, it's also a very good game. It was great. <v Speaker 8>Yeah, So I wonder if that's not if it's just <v Speaker 8>three of us that care about it. <v Speaker 11>I think that doesn't. <v Speaker 1>I don't think it makes yeah, but. <v Speaker 3>Then again, this is when I feel very strong. <v Speaker 1>It'll be like yeah, but. <v Speaker 4>I guess sorry, Yeah, what istro it's Joker. <v Speaker 7>It's more like poker too. <v Speaker 4>I do you want to lock in the winner first? <v Speaker 7>In John Jones astro, Well, is there a game that. <v Speaker 1>Didn't that's that's gonna be like that? And that's for everybody. <v Speaker 7>So I don't, but I mean that his hit mine <v Speaker 7>presents Indian Jones. <v Speaker 8>If there's any game on this list that every one <v Speaker 8>of us raises our hand for as far as being <v Speaker 8>like at least like this would be an eight plus <v Speaker 8>for us, you. <v Speaker 1>Know, Okay, and. <v Speaker 5>The repeat of Game of the Year, it's all yeah, yeah, Afterrobot, <v Speaker 5>that's actually unanimous that everyone. <v Speaker 14>Because it's like it hits as a game, it's good, <v Speaker 14>but also it leverages years of a nostalgia and familiarity. <v Speaker 4>It's like it is individually hitting each one of us. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, so many like bots that popped each of us <v Speaker 2>individually exactly in a different way. <v Speaker 11>I mean, let me say this, let me put it <v Speaker 11>this way. <v Speaker 10>I thought Blatro is like a clear and instant winner <v Speaker 10>because that's people associate that game with us even. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, and like because I'm like ambling problem, Yeah, that's <v Speaker 2>unique to us. <v Speaker 14>Like the only way astrobot could be more like us <v Speaker 14>is if they put a blotro. <v Speaker 4>That's the limit where. <v Speaker 1>It's put us in. Blatro bought of me but as <v Speaker 1>a cake there. <v Speaker 10>That's one where I was trying to get at though, <v Speaker 10>Like astrobis so yeah, everyone loves as everyone, whereas Blatro <v Speaker 10>may actually not hit with some people. <v Speaker 1>All of us. <v Speaker 16>Are probably both locks and they probably need to figure <v Speaker 16>out Like right, yeah that one, no doubt it's going <v Speaker 16>to be for me. <v Speaker 11>I just let's maybe cut some more. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, yeah yours, Yes, that was very much for me. <v Speaker 5>And I'm like, when if it this category was just <v Speaker 5>me picking one, I'd be like that was kind of <v Speaker 5>my ship in a really surprising way. <v Speaker 2>But like if yours revenge is so much like all <v Speaker 2>consuming of you grub but it's yeah. <v Speaker 5>It's not like I never really I like yours revenge, <v Speaker 5>but yours rising is not. <v Speaker 4>Going to make this list. <v Speaker 8>Ideally, we have three up top that are literally unanimous, <v Speaker 8>and I can just say straight up that Pokemon is <v Speaker 8>not my thing at all. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, I get that. <v Speaker 2>There's also not enough in Pokemon, like the actually battling <v Speaker 2>for describing that as a game is kind of rich. <v Speaker 8>Similarly, I would say UF fifty, Nikki, I know at <v Speaker 8>least you were not. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, mothers were not. Okay, I liked it. I think <v Speaker 1>it's great, but I know Nicky was a sprinter that's <v Speaker 1>already not you know you. <v Speaker 7>I was going to say Rise of the Golden Idol <v Speaker 7>like don you and I would. <v Speaker 1>Yeah that, yes, yeah, forever. <v Speaker 16>Let's let's cut UFO, let's cut rise. Now we're trying <v Speaker 16>to cut I'm sorry added something, but Prince of Person. <v Speaker 1>I think it's between blantro and that that was so okay, fantastic. <v Speaker 10>We did that podcast where we were all there actually <v Speaker 10>and we were all just gushing about that. <v Speaker 1>Actually, that might be the. <v Speaker 8>Three yeah, legacy very interested, not gonna. <v Speaker 14>Yeah, I'm going to cut it because obviously it's just <v Speaker 14>very specifically. <v Speaker 2>It was like, right, I think as a team. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>content Warning got its flowers. <v Speaker 11>Yeah, yeah, this is true, Laura. <v Speaker 1>I think it's really cool, but it was just a <v Speaker 1>bit much for me. <v Speaker 11>Yeah, and that was just not for me. <v Speaker 16>So yeah, I like that Go Point Nova quite a bit, <v Speaker 16>you know, not something I'm thinking about constantly. <v Speaker 1>Personal. <v Speaker 8>Same same when I played BUM, but it doesn't stick <v Speaker 8>with me. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, this is a hard. <v Speaker 2>So Okay, I'm one of the people that have not <v Speaker 2>played Indiana Jones in. <v Speaker 1>The Great Circle. <v Speaker 2>But everything I've heard you'll say, I feel I can <v Speaker 2>be up my alley because I love punching people. <v Speaker 5>I played all these games. I really like all these games. <v Speaker 5>I think there's a strong chance all of them end <v Speaker 5>up at my top ten, which I have not finalized yet. <v Speaker 5>Got say that a lot of games are all high. <v Speaker 5>I would feel the most comfortable cutting Indy. <v Speaker 11>Play. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, plad Indiana Jones. <v Speaker 8>Well, a lot of people hear oh you're saying. <v Speaker 1>Oh, I think I haven't played. <v Speaker 5>Even even if it was just up to me, that's <v Speaker 5>the one I would cut. So yeah, okay, okay, yeah, <v Speaker 5>then yeah, I think that's. <v Speaker 16>Yeah, okay, oh boysia really yes. <v Speaker 5>It's like this is the category like Astrobots for everybody <v Speaker 5>is like like nominated for the game Award, Like this <v Speaker 5>is where it gets its flowers. <v Speaker 3>It's not going to get it anywhere else. <v Speaker 14>I feel like if I was asked to champion one <v Speaker 14>of these games, I would go Prince of Pleasure. <v Speaker 8>Everyone loves like outside of this, but like we are <v Speaker 8>really championing this thing. <v Speaker 2>Is that this is for us, Like hey, remember this <v Speaker 2>game exists, and I feel like this site has a <v Speaker 2>fascination with Metroid Vanas and this is like the best Venia. <v Speaker 16>It kind of came out of nowhere, like oh that's cute, <v Speaker 16>you're gonna make prints of Persia Metro Venion whatever. <v Speaker 1>Then it's like one of the best. Yeah, I remember <v Speaker 1>was it SUF last year? <v Speaker 11>Some of you all got to check. <v Speaker 3>And I was like Rock, Mike, were you playing with me? Topic? <v Speaker 5>And we were all like racing against each other like immediately, <v Speaker 5>and even like like I know you. <v Speaker 4>Don't play you love this one? <v Speaker 1>What I said about it? <v Speaker 16>Then, I think it's kind of my go to for <v Speaker 16>explaining why it's good is that it's a triple threat <v Speaker 16>for me, Vanas It's got the combat, it's got the traversal, <v Speaker 16>and it's got the exploration. Three things that you want working, <v Speaker 16>and some of them sort of favor more than others. <v Speaker 16>This one's got all of those working, so well. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, it wins. <v Speaker 1>It wins, so glad I remember to put it on congratulation? <v Speaker 1>Did so weird? <v Speaker 4>How easy that wanted to be? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's the right answer. When you like something you like, <v Speaker 1>so's the answer is correct. It feels Yeah, it fits. <v Speaker 1>We found the Crown? Yeah, all of us? <v Speaker 2>All right, man presents game that's most for us, Principerge <v Speaker 2>of the Lost Crown Taken the Crown, followed by Astrobot <v Speaker 2>and blocktro all right, folks, we're moving at a steady pace. <v Speaker 3>Uh. <v Speaker 1>Leaf blow over the Year. <v Speaker 2>Another surprise category nominees are the one at the studio <v Speaker 2>we did SGF at dance and then the one back <v Speaker 2>of our saw outside the fig this morning. <v Speaker 1>MIC's ass on a pillow. I think. <v Speaker 4>It counts as a leaf blower. <v Speaker 1>It counts. It's not a blue sometimes. I don't know <v Speaker 1>if I've ever ruffled a leaf of my ass. <v Speaker 12>Yeah, the gust of wind from when Bacala with that <v Speaker 12>high five. <v Speaker 8>Leaves in the studio would be a tornado. <v Speaker 1>It was like a little typhoon. <v Speaker 4>It was wicked tornado this morning. <v Speaker 8>Yeah, my mind's good. That's really good. It was cheap <v Speaker 8>and it charges and it's electric, so I just go <v Speaker 8>out there. It's wireless. It's got like a lock, so <v Speaker 8>it's like I pulled the trigger. I turned the lock <v Speaker 8>on and then I don't have to hold the trigger. <v Speaker 4>I can just Yeah, this is a little basic functionality. <v Speaker 8>Actually no, I used the SGF one too. <v Speaker 1>But can you use a leaf blower in the woodpeckers? <v Speaker 2>That feels like a federal Okay, they have wings. <v Speaker 4>I don't know. <v Speaker 14>I don't think what she feels like if the woodpecker <v Speaker 14>isn't surviving. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I don't think it was problem about Harley Quinn. <v Speaker 1>Her girlfriend is right, Yeah, yeah, brother, Oh my god, <v Speaker 1>that's pretty good. <v Speaker 4>God, it's pretty good guessing. I want to guess. I <v Speaker 4>want to guess. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, does she know someone named leaf no poison ivy. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>the blowing part. <v Speaker 4>Of it's a stretch. <v Speaker 3>It's a stretch. <v Speaker 19>But bye, Lucy, Harley quinnen and poison every now and <v Speaker 19>then I think the category actually goes to the one <v Speaker 19>at the studio. <v Speaker 1>We did it really started the movement. They're rid of mine. <v Speaker 3>It's kind of crap. <v Speaker 1>Be okay, did you know that? I think Backlar has <v Speaker 1>missed high five. I've been reading Second Yes, I read <v Speaker 1>a lot of Bad Man, but I haven't seen them <v Speaker 1>like you do, and. <v Speaker 4>Stuff reading Harley quin and Ivy the series that they <v Speaker 4>have to go their own. <v Speaker 16>It's their own season five starting TV show the cartoon <v Speaker 16>Harley Quinn. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, I want to watch that. It's on Max Watch bunch. Uh. <v Speaker 16>I got so much joy out of watching everybody slowly realize. <v Speaker 1>What I was. <v Speaker 4>I still don't get. <v Speaker 1>It. I got the one outside there this morning. <v Speaker 4>Cool, it was cool. <v Speaker 1>It was legit. <v Speaker 4>I know what the electric one. <v Speaker 14>But like you, I feel like Dan confidently and excitedly <v Speaker 14>using a leaf blower is a unique thing. Yeah, And <v Speaker 14>the fact that he has such familiarity and expertise with <v Speaker 14>that leaf blower means that it's probably pretty good. <v Speaker 4>And this other being him, Yeah, it's just funny to <v Speaker 4>me that you were like, this is the thing I <v Speaker 4>need to do like a leaf. <v Speaker 8>I feel like that kind of leaves that fall on <v Speaker 8>the of the deck. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, good for you. <v Speaker 8>I have the landscape recu the front because it's too big, <v Speaker 8>but I can do the deck. <v Speaker 1>Well. Also, you don't want them to die on it, <v Speaker 1>and that would probably be like a liability. <v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, okay, all right. Leaf Blower of the Year, <v Speaker 2>the one at the studio we did SGFF. <v Speaker 8>Which one there were two, the big one, both of them, <v Speaker 8>there were two, big. <v Speaker 2>Boy, Yeah, yeah, boy, okay, Backlars. <v Speaker 1>Miss Tie five and Dance. All right, fantastic. <v Speaker 4>I believe this is the last category of. <v Speaker 1>Day three, folks. <v Speaker 2>We have Mini Game of the Year. Nominees are Don <v Speaker 2>Doco Island. Sorry, well, well that's you know. That was <v Speaker 2>a somersaulted Blood. Oh no, Queen's Blood from Final Fantasy <v Speaker 2>seven Rebirth, Prime Cut, the state game for Mario, Party, <v Speaker 2>Crazy Taxi Pizza from Infinite Wealth, June On Parade from <v Speaker 2>Final Fantasy seven Rebirth, as well as The Pirate Shooting <v Speaker 2>Gallery and Fort Condo Or as well as to Ken <v Speaker 2>Ball from to Ken eight and Sabak from Star Wars <v Speaker 2>out Laws. <v Speaker 1>Oh, it was a good year for many games. <v Speaker 8>Yeah, okay. The one I wonder about here is like, <v Speaker 8>I love Don Doko Island I played the ship out <v Speaker 8>of it, but that almost feels like two big games. <v Speaker 4>How many is it hours? A long? <v Speaker 3>But relative the rest of the game, it is a <v Speaker 3>mini game inside of it. But do we want to <v Speaker 3>like call it something else. <v Speaker 4>It's also like a core part of the game. Yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 4>you have to do it for a while. <v Speaker 5>Yes, yeah, you have to do a lot of the <v Speaker 5>mini games like the Crazy Taxi Pizza. <v Speaker 1>At least it's. <v Speaker 14>Beyond like I feel like with Queens but might be right. <v Speaker 14>It's an introduction. You have a small segment where you <v Speaker 14>have to do it, and then you move on. You <v Speaker 14>can never play Queens Blood again. <v Speaker 3>Doko. <v Speaker 4>You have to do for well for a while, and <v Speaker 4>if there's hours. <v Speaker 14>Maybe there's times where you have to go back and <v Speaker 14>do it if you need money and that kind of stuff. <v Speaker 14>So it feels a little more compulsory than all of <v Speaker 14>the others on hen I feel like. <v Speaker 8>Don Doko they could have released it as like a <v Speaker 8>fifteen dollars standalone download game, and yeah, it's like a <v Speaker 8>full game in its own right. <v Speaker 5>I don't know, it's just like it's such a technical Kelly, <v Speaker 5>it's kind of a bad reason to get rid of it. <v Speaker 1>But I love it. <v Speaker 10>I would argue that you do mini games within Don <v Speaker 10>Doco Island. <v Speaker 2>That's over right, there's media games, Okay, all right, it's <v Speaker 2>like a KFC double desk. <v Speaker 4>I'm surprised there's nothing from UFO fifty. <v Speaker 1>It's like fifty games. Those are all. <v Speaker 4>Actually I didn't play it. <v Speaker 1>I know I'm supposed to. <v Speaker 14>I feel like I want to advocate for Queen's Blood <v Speaker 14>and Queen's Blood is is incredible. <v Speaker 1>Queen's Blood blood a lot? Is it just the best? <v Speaker 11>Like card game and that's just amazing. <v Speaker 16>Yeah, because they had such a hill to overcome there, <v Speaker 16>because every every time you do a new mini game, <v Speaker 16>let alone card game of foun Fantasy, the fun Fantasy <v Speaker 16>fans will be like, well, why didn't they just do <v Speaker 16>triple tryad It's here they did something new and everyone <v Speaker 16>was actually like, oh, this is better. <v Speaker 1>Rule is great. <v Speaker 10>Like so many people have said I want physical Queen's Blood, <v Speaker 10>yet they have it one exhibit. <v Speaker 1>They like that quest line like goes kind of weird <v Speaker 1>fun fases. <v Speaker 8>That course line involves like the dog being a person <v Speaker 8>and stuff. <v Speaker 1>There's a there's that part on the boat and then <v Speaker 1>there's geckos. <v Speaker 8>And other Michael Jackson dance or something. <v Speaker 1>Yes, it looks like that. Excuse me is good though, I'm. <v Speaker 3>Gonna get a T shirt with cheddar Chet. <v Speaker 2>There's so much hype with Queen's Blood. I really did <v Speaker 2>not like any of these other mini games in Rebirth. <v Speaker 8>No, that was my favorite bart of Rebirth. With the <v Speaker 8>mini games, I'm. <v Speaker 16>A minigame defender if I'm fifty seven. Like, even when <v Speaker 16>they're dumb, I think that adds to the experience. <v Speaker 11>But it's part of Final Fantasy seven. <v Speaker 1>But none of them as good as Queen's Blood. <v Speaker 16>Absolutely, But you know, the june On Parade is just <v Speaker 16>so silly and a fun twist on a rhythm game. <v Speaker 16>It's really stupid how they just all suddenly know these <v Speaker 16>very like things. <v Speaker 1>That they have to do. <v Speaker 11>It's just a fun way to meet people in an <v Speaker 11>open world. <v Speaker 4>Like I didn't. <v Speaker 10>I didn't love the open world of Rebirth, but it <v Speaker 10>was a fun excuse for me to go to places <v Speaker 10>I ain't gone to you because I was like, I <v Speaker 10>want to see who I am challenge here, and you <v Speaker 10>need to wile this character. <v Speaker 8>Every time I got to a new area and I <v Speaker 8>would see that icon and the queens, it was the <v Speaker 8>first thing I did in every town in the area. <v Speaker 1>I'm going to go beat everyone here. Our shooting gallery <v Speaker 1>is fun but kind of simple. <v Speaker 16>It can go for condor it's will that they just <v Speaker 16>you know, put in a clash royal or whatever and <v Speaker 16>there you know, it's it's pretty good. <v Speaker 11>It's also not unique to rebirth though. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, what's tech and ball? <v Speaker 10>Oh tell you a volleyball, but you hit it because you're. <v Speaker 1>A tech in person roundhouse kicking a beach ball. <v Speaker 3>And sometimes it's also not unique to take an age. <v Speaker 10>But what's cool about is that's an old one that <v Speaker 10>people are from way back. <v Speaker 11>Gut tacking three. I really brought back it made it <v Speaker 11>even better, Okay. <v Speaker 10>And it has sometimes like funny physics where it will <v Speaker 10>sort of be like hitting a balloon. Sometimes it's like <v Speaker 10>I'm gonna do this really strong move, It's like, no, <v Speaker 10>the programmed so that move actually doesn't hit it? <v Speaker 11>Okay, how do you think it will? It's it's very fun. <v Speaker 1>That's cool. Is great. I thought it was fun. Is fun. <v Speaker 3>It's not as good as Queen's Blood. <v Speaker 1>It's a different vibe though, sure, poor casino game less <v Speaker 1>you know, collectible card game. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, fair, Yes, yeah, I listen. I would love to <v Speaker 5>maybe seeing. <v Speaker 1>They could hang out, okay, And I love I do <v Speaker 1>love that vibe. <v Speaker 16>I like this even in the Red Dead Redemptions of <v Speaker 16>like actually sitting at a table some other you know, <v Speaker 16>random weirdos that I don't know, we're all actually you know, <v Speaker 16>staying like I'm really playing this game with them. The <v Speaker 16>vibes of it are a lot of fun. We hear <v Speaker 16>about Sabach and the shows all the time and the movies. <v Speaker 1>That's like got the millennium falcons right, and. <v Speaker 5>It's it's it's like often different in all the extended media. <v Speaker 5>So but they do a pretty good job of like <v Speaker 5>keeping most of the like what what you read about <v Speaker 5>or what you've seen in some of the media in <v Speaker 5>this version of the game. <v Speaker 16>And they work in the whole scoundrel thing because you <v Speaker 16>can use your little pet to help cheat for you <v Speaker 16>little it's actually some of the coolest risk of Award things. <v Speaker 16>There's also quest lines to help you find the high <v Speaker 16>Stakes table. <v Speaker 1>And stuff like that. <v Speaker 4>So they incorporated into the game in a really smart way. <v Speaker 4>It makes it feel like part of the world in <v Speaker 4>the strong that's way. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, we had a last minute edition elevator death trivia <v Speaker 2>from Silent Hill too. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, wasn't that nuts? <v Speaker 1>That was wild? Isn't that the most nutty? I don't <v Speaker 1>remember that being in the originals. I can't remember. <v Speaker 4>I think it was. <v Speaker 1>It was. <v Speaker 4>It's so out, it's so weird. Yeah, you're like, why <v Speaker 4>is this happening? <v Speaker 1>It doesn't make sense or fall in line with anything <v Speaker 1>else that's going tonally. It's just so like total whiplash. <v Speaker 4>It's it's it's absolutely whiplash. <v Speaker 6>You hear the trivia questions and then like the elevator <v Speaker 6>opens and it doesn't even like direct you to like <v Speaker 6>where you can answer those things. You have to then <v Speaker 6>find this weird ornate bejeweled, the cash register box that's <v Speaker 6>in some fucking room that you were already in. It <v Speaker 6>just appears right because I think the first time you're <v Speaker 6>in that room, it's not there. And then you have <v Speaker 6>to like, you know, enter, you know numbers and stuff. <v Speaker 1>I you know, I didn't. I didn't like get it <v Speaker 1>right or do anything because the questions are impossible. <v Speaker 4>I just say scum debt. <v Speaker 1>I'm a bad person. I say scum dit I'm bad. <v Speaker 2>Oh, okay, I think I got it right in the <v Speaker 2>original run. I don't remember getting it right in. <v Speaker 1>Remakes such a weird, strange thing. <v Speaker 6>I think, Yeah, I actually think I found the box <v Speaker 6>and didn't realize it was the way to answer the <v Speaker 6>elevator trivia right away. I was just sort of like, <v Speaker 6>Q one, what are all these things? Anyway? I just <v Speaker 6>wanted to talk about it for a second. <v Speaker 1>It's really neat, No, it was definitely a very memorable <v Speaker 1>moment there. <v Speaker 8>I think Prime Cut is just such a mini game <v Speaker 8>ass minigame, and it's not my favorite Mario Party Jimberree, <v Speaker 8>but that is the one that from when we play <v Speaker 8>to the packs, and also if it pops up when'm <v Speaker 8>playing with friends and stuff, as soon as you realize, <v Speaker 8>like oh the concept is so easy to explain and <v Speaker 8>such a good TV two somebody game. <v Speaker 1>It's the best TV two. <v Speaker 12>It's also the most incredible thing Tom and I have <v Speaker 12>seen in real life with Ben stock into appointment at <v Speaker 12>packs and you got pat up with someone they got <v Speaker 12>fifty percent three times in a row. <v Speaker 7>Before people, even the people looking into were freaking out. <v Speaker 1>God rules. I love when Nintendo does like that really <v Speaker 1>high quality looking. <v Speaker 8>That's so good, like undulates as you're sewing they got <v Speaker 8>good food in a bunch of games. <v Speaker 4>But that meat looks really good. <v Speaker 1>I think you think that meat comes from a bullet bill. <v Speaker 1>No torpedo tad, what are the. <v Speaker 7>Big cows on charm? <v Speaker 1>It's a good point. <v Speaker 16>I usually don't look forward to usually don't look forward <v Speaker 16>to to V two G usual kind of speaker. <v Speaker 1>It's one fun to. <v Speaker 8>Yes is the best one in jamburey. <v Speaker 1>I don't like crazy eats. I don't like crazy. <v Speaker 4>I don't like crazy eats. <v Speaker 1>I like it. I like how it incorporate. <v Speaker 8>It's like weird, like, oh, you're just going to ride <v Speaker 8>all the way up this building and do like a <v Speaker 8>cute yeah exactly. <v Speaker 11>I think the idea is better than the execution. <v Speaker 7>I did it, did it once. <v Speaker 3>I was like, yeah, it's the crazy Taxi and yeah. <v Speaker 4>Like the Pikas and yeah there was no offspring, so <v Speaker 4>I was like it's. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, that was pretty good. <v Speaker 1>The best thing is it reminds you of a better game. <v Speaker 7>Yes, you know, what about the all the stuff they <v Speaker 7>put in Fortnite, like does the lego? <v Speaker 1>I think those are just games. Those are too big. <v Speaker 4>They have their own dedicated teams, they have their own. Yeah, yeah, Like. <v Speaker 8>I do like teching Ball a lot, but it's not <v Speaker 8>like wildly different than the three. It's like back, I'm glad. <v Speaker 10>I was going to say if that ends up being <v Speaker 10>like our number four in a. <v Speaker 1>Way, like. <v Speaker 8>Yeah, I feel the same way. Seconds always been great <v Speaker 8>of that stuff. I love you know, techn Force, it <v Speaker 8>doesn't revolution. <v Speaker 1>I had a lot of fun with tech and Ball <v Speaker 1>for the time that you play. <v Speaker 11>It's fun. <v Speaker 3>But yeah, exactly Queen's Blood queen Lean. <v Speaker 4>Dog against Queen's Blood. <v Speaker 1>All right everyone, Yeah, the words of Geno Chill Wow. <v Speaker 1>Minigame of the Year Jeff crub taken away. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, we have Queen's Blood from Final Fantasy seven Rebirth <v Speaker 5>winning the category, with runners up being Prime Cut for <v Speaker 5>Mario Party and Subak with two seas from Star Wars Outlaws. <v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, Mike Manatti, could you read the previous category. <v Speaker 16>Leaf Blower of the Year the ones at the studio <v Speaker 16>we did Sgfat is the winner, with back Ours Missed, <v Speaker 16>High Five and Dan's as the runner ups. <v Speaker 1>Nikki Hitman presents Game That's Most for Us. <v Speaker 9>The winner is Prince of Persia, the Lost Crown, Astrobat <v Speaker 9>and Bolotro as runners up. <v Speaker 10>Sean Horizon presents Game That's Most Not for Us, Hell <v Speaker 10>Blade two Send you a Sacrifice as the winner with <v Speaker 10>the Plucky Squire and Dragon's About two. <v Speaker 8>Following that Dan Funniest Game the Winner is Thank Goodness <v Speaker 8>You're here, with runners up Our Zette, Jewel of Fairmore <v Speaker 8>and Content Warning Damn. <v Speaker 14>Best Compilation All Collection goes to Legacy of Kin one <v Speaker 14>and two Remastered, followed by runners up Castlvania Dominus Collection <v Speaker 14>and Marvel versus Capcom Fighting Collection. <v Speaker 2>And to wrap it up, Best New Character his May <v Speaker 2>from Metaphor Refuntasio Raina from to ten. <v Speaker 1>Eight and Big Brown from a big good Egger Here folks. <v Speaker 11>That concludes day three. <v Speaker 1>We've made it.
