00:00:01 Speaker 1: What's up everybody? You know what time it is. We have another exciting episode of Bachelor Happy Hour. And of course I'm not alone. I've got a very special guest, a first timer to the Bachelor Happy Hour family. I have the wonderful Becca Kup friend. Hello, I'm a newbie. You're a newbie, but you're also my co host today. Yes, and I'm so excited. We're gonna have a good time. We've already if these walls could talk, you have no idea what we were saying before we were micd up. We should have been recording an hour ago. We should we have been sipping some wine because of course this is Bachelor Happy Hour. If you're gonna drink along with us, make sure you drink responsibly. But maybe we'll get a little loose lipped here, you know, spill the tea or they might not be able to talk after that. I love that. I love to hear that. Okay, but before we get things kicked off, because we do have a lot to get into. You have a new special project that you were working on. Do tell so this is actually the first time I can officially talk about it. So I'm so excited. We've been working on it for a while with my lovely co host Ben Higgins, but I will be alongside him for The Bachelor Live on stage tours. I'm so excited. We are kicking off February thirteenth, twenty twenty in Mesa, Arizona. But basically what it is, I could talk about this forever. I could also show you all my choreography because I'm so because we've already been working, We're getting choreography, We're getting like you are getting the full Broadway esque experience. So basically, we are bringing The Bachelor to sixty six cities across the nation, so it's gonna be a wild ride. What I love about this is you're going to see every city will have their own local bachelors. So we're picking out these great, awesome guys who are ready to hopefully find love, and then ten contestants in each city, so some will be picked by Ben and I, some may make appearances from the audience, but it's going to be very audience interactive. So you know, everyone watches The Bachelor and Bachelorette and you get invested in the show and in the contestants, and you have your favorites. The girls that you don't like, So this is kind of the same thing. So we're going to get the audience feedback on who we think the Bachelor should end up with at the end. So it's a little different. I know, we were talking about the proposal before. It's not quite like that. So I think people assume that the bachelor is going to have to get engaged after two hours of the show. That's not the case. He's just going to find his girl who he thinks he wants to be continue dating in the city and is most compatible with, so he can give out his final rows. There is going to be a great twist at the end, which I won't give away right now because I want everyone to come and watch it and see for themselves. But the twist at the end is what hooked me and that's why I originally said yes to this. So it's gonna be a wild ride. It's going to be very fun. It'll be funny, it'll be dramatic, we'll have some loving moments, and of course, you know come see me in ben Dance. Well okay, well you had me on choreography. Okay, Like I'm already have my phone out, I'm googling I know you guys are too, because I'm on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what this is. I do have a question though, yes, it is called Bachelive on stage. Will there be people from the Bachelor franchise that may, I don't know, make a guest appearance. Can we be invited? Oh well, yes, you guys are already invited. I got your tickets. There will be guest appearances. I mean, I'm working hard to get Garrett to make an appearance because I don't know a little off topic. Garrett did chippin Dails a few months ago, and so anything that we can get him to come out in a cowboy hat and like rip a shirt off, I'm all four. So does he remember the choreography? I don't know. If he dies, I'm sure he does. I don't make him do it at home. But he only had he literally met the dancers like an hour before he had to go on stage and do a full blown show with them. So I think I think the dancers with him helped out a lot, which we also will have a full dance crew on our Bachelorlive on Stage two. So it's I think when people are getting a sense of what this all is. I think people might get nervous and they'd be like, Oh, we don't want to be on stage. That's serve racking. It's going to be so fun, it's going to be so positive, lighthearted. But we have a full production with us, so we have changing said. So you're gonna feel like you're at the mansion. You're gonna feel like maybe you're in the hot tub coming out of the limo. But I've met the dancers this week and they're amazing and they have everyone's backs. They are going to make these girls and the Bachelor look wonderful. So it's gonna be a good time. I love it because you're you're really making Bachelor Nation feel like they're a part of this thing. You watch it now. It's coming to a sitting near US sixty six cities, which is still crazy to me. I do have another question, though, because the more and more you talk, I'm so excited and I'm like, I have another question for the people who didn't find love on The Bachelor. Is it possible that maybe they're a contestant? It is possible that is actually something that we had just been talking about a couple of days ago. Because you have this amazing crew of people who are still looking to find love, and and you know you're in your hometown. Everyone's on the dating naps, everyone's going to the bars and out to try and find somebody. So this is basically like that, but just on stage in front of a crowd. That could be more fun. So we could bring in past contestants. I also could see it finding some great people on our live stage that could potentially if they want make it onto the show too. Yeah, I'm going to give you a list of people that I would like to see. Well, you can nominate, Okay, I will do that. Everybody else should dm Becca and Ben and let them know who you would like to see from a past season on the show. Dm me. Also, it might get buried, but anyone if you want to apply or nominate anyone. I will definitely be dominating some of my friends who are single back in Minnesota. But you can go to Bachelor Live onstage dot com. Is that also how they can get tickets? Yes, tickets to the full lineup of cities, dates, everything. Okay, Well I'm expecting free tickets, but Rachel, you might make an appearance. I might be doing the choreography with me. Well, congratulations, I'm so excited. I love that you win in depth explaining it because I feel like we're all like Bachelor live on stage. What is this? Need to understand it now? I'm hooked. And that's when I first heard about it. I was the same way because I think they announced it at Paradise and they yeah, they were like, well then to bend really quick. But everyone was like, what is this? How's it gonna work. It's gonna be like if you were to buy tickets to a Broadway show. That's kind of what it's gonna be. You know, we're not singing, luckily, because I don't think anyone wants to hear that. But it's gonna be a full blown show. Like you sit back, you can grab your cocktails. We'll give you some roses. You can scream at the crowd, you can scream at us, like you can get up and dance with us. It's everything. It's super interactive. It's going to be such a great time. I'm excited. It'll be fun. I okay, I keep looking at the guests that we have in the room because I'm like, aren't you excited? But she can't say anything yet she can't say anything. Yes she okay, Becca, congratulations to everything that you have coming up. This is really exciting. You and Ben are gonna have the best time. He'll be the best co host. I'm excited. I am. I know all of you guys are expecting to hear nil Lane this week. And because normally we like to tease who's coming up on the podcast, don't worry. Nil Lane will be here, but not today because some big news has been popping off in Batster Nation as of recently, and we know you guys want to talk about it. We want to talk about it. We want to hear from the people who are involved with this big news. And yeah, I don't know about you, Becca, but I've been a little shook this week. We've gotten a lot of news. Yeah, yeah, we have. And so we're not going to keep you waiting any longer because in the studio today we have Tasia Hi Tatia. So it has been announced that Tatia and John Paul Jones JPJ. What what are we gonna call him here? Because it's like a mouth hill and I just I mean, I call him John, Okay, John, I like that. So Tasia and John have officially split. You guys know who we're talking about. And Tatia has been our girl. She's a friend of the show, so she's gonna dish about it and just tell us what happened. Take us from the beginning, because I feel like there's been so much speculation about your relationship, so let's just stop speculating. Let's get right to it. Let's talk to the woman who was actually involved in this relationship. Who can set the record straight. Okay, you guys, So we're gonna be talking to Nil next week, but this week it's all about Tasia. Oh right out there? Can we get a timeline first? Yeah? Am I jumping ahead? I would like because I watched Paradise on and off. I actually saw you at Mexico at Chris and Chris's wedding, and at that point I didn't know. I mean, there was a lot going on, so I didn't know that you guys had been dating. But I just want a timeline of when everything started ended, everything in the middle. Okay, so we'll go back to the wedding. At that point I had so I actually had talked to Derek's since day one of Paradise. You guys kind of saw a snippet of me talking to him, So I think that's where we kind of decided to take it to the next level and see if there was anything there, but there wasn't. I think that's where John also decided that he wanted to pursue me wholeheartedly, as opposed to see anything else. Catch So my question is because it made it seem like John. He sounds so worn when I just called him John. Yeah, when he was pursuing you, I mean he seemed all in, like he was head over heels, like dead set, laser focused on you, obsessed. Yeah, So did you sense that when you were with him or was it more watching it back where you're like, oh god, he's really into me. I honestly had no idea how much he was like into me until I think he was when he started crying to me and he was just like, I just really need you to have like your own time, and I need to decide what you want, like I want you in blah blah blah. And that happened, I don't know right before I would say a week before breakups, Okay, before the fantasies. Yeah, this was after the wedding, right, Okay, yeah, um, but like to me, it was just kind of like a fun fling honestly, like we had like that moment where we like fell in the pool. It was just like, I don't know what the heck is going on, Like this guy's super fun and we just had a good time. But I did didn't really see anything serious coming out of it, Like the next day, we just didn't talk, like it would just be like a fun, like little flirt, you know what I mean. So when he was like I love you, it really caught me by surprise. I did not expect him to say that at all. So when I broke up with him at that moment, it was because I thought it was the right thing to do, because I'm not just gonna say I love you just to say I love you, and I'm not going to lead him on because I can tell if this guy was like legitimately head over heels for me, well, you obviously saw something in JPJ that you didn't see in Derek because you sent Derek home, so you knew that there was nothing there. Am I right? Correct? I was not how do I say this up? I was not romantically drawn to Derek. Ok we had like a good connection, and I think that we connected on us a lot of ways that a lot of people at Paradise were not able to connect with me, like in the sense that he was engaged at one point that didn't work out. We had to put ourselves out there before. So we connected on that and so I think that's where our foundation really started. But at that time when you sent Derek Comb, did you see something more serious with JPJ or was it just more fun and lighthearted and you wanted to experience that lighthearted side of things. I'm honestly at that point it was just it was more fun and lighthearted. But also John possessed a lot of qualities, like the fact that he's a faithful man and not just like I mean with like religion, Like he's a religious man. He's also very close to his family. He was successful in his job. He's a financial analyst. He went to school for doing something you know that requires brains, and I that's attractive to me. There was a lot of things I was drawn too by John. But also it was just really fun. The way he made me laugh was like nobody else. Okay, changing gears here when you watched JPJ on hand this season. What were your thoughts because I watched behind the scenes of I think it was when they had My Favorite day the Drakes and they did the like talent show portion of that date and he came out on the unicycle. Yeah, I almost fell into the audience, but he was in his speedo and I was like, who is this guy? Like he's going all out? He I mean I was sitting back just dying laughing. Yeah, but what were your thoughts were you when you saw him then? Were you like, oh, he's cute or were you like this goofball? I thought he was a goofball, but like it made me laugh. I remember rewinding it like three, four or five times when he was when they were doing the berthing simulation. I was laughing so hard at the faces he was making and he just made me laugh. And then same with the unicycle thing. But then also I left a paradise right after us. I didn't see anything else when you described John, like you talk about the laughter, which we all saw, like he seems like he's a really funny guy, and then you named a bunch of other characteristics like that he checks off the boxes, things that are important to you. But as far as connecting with each other, what was it that drew you to him? Honestly, it was just I feel like he he just like listened to me and he maybe I was just really vulnerable at the time and I just needed someone just to like show me that care and attention, you know what I mean. And um, he just was really invested in getting to know me and wanting to hear my heart and all the kind of stuff. He was there, He was present and that's what I wanted at the time. How was kissing him? Oh well, I did tell John we needed to work on that. We can tell it. I was looking at him like, why are you kissing me like a fish? But we worked on it. He got much better, I will tell you that. Damn it. I'm not going to say anything I ask the next question. I think he was honestly very nervous though. Okay, so the kissing obviously leads to the touching in the fantasy suits, which you sent him home before right before the Fantasy suits. I get because when I was the bachelort, I sent Jason home during right before Fantasy Suits. I'm sure I sent him home for vastly different reasons, because at that point I really was falling hard for Jason and the feelings were there, and I knew it would have been a great night, But I just I also knew I had really strong connections with the remaining men. So what was your thought process in that moment when I know that you said he had said that you loved that he had loved you, and you didn't want to string him along and take him with the fantasy suits? But did you ever? What was your thought process in saying no at that point? Did you want to explore the night with him or idea? Did the fish kissing kind of turn you off? No? I did, But intimacy is a really big deal for me. I don't know I can count on one hand how many people I've slept with. I'm just intimacy is a really big deal. So I wouldn't just do it just to do it. And there's nothing wrong with anybody exploring that, But I'm just saying for me, I wasn't ready to take that step because I knew I wasn't all in. So was intimacy a part of your relationship when you left Paradise? Like, did you do you feel like I'm not trying to get you to tell me your personal business, like what goes on behind closed doors. I just more so mean, do you feel like you had an intimate that intimacy that you were seeking with Sean Paul Jones? Um? I think over time, as I got to know him. That's Mendos, a co host today as well. I was trying to make it all about her. I'm sorry, do you want to come up here and talk um um as our relationship progress outside of all of um paradise, I say, the cameras and all that stuff. Just getting to know him, I was more open to being intimate with him, yes, kay, But also we were long distance, so try that. How Yeah, let's get into that. Because we saw you guys break up, it was really really emotional. I do want to ask you that when you broke up with him, were you in that moment regretting it or were you yes? Okay, yes, Well, because we saw the part where you guys said your goodbyes on the day bed and then you ran after him, And in that moment when when I was watching it, I was like, Oh, she's gonna get him back, like she's gonna say I made a mistake. I had no idea what to expect, but I thought it was sweet that you gave him that extra time and gave him a huggin and made him still feel special, Like you guys did have something. But I was convinced you were going to be like we're doing this, We're going to the fantasy sweets. Yeah, I don't know. I knew that he was a special person. Like I said, there was just a lot of things that I think he checks off. I think also the whole loyalty thing, it's a really big deal for me. I don't think John would ever put himself in a situation and he's also promised me that to ever cheat on me, and cheating on me it's like a really big thing to me because I have been burned like that in the past. So there's just like other things as well that I love about him, But that was like a really big thing to me, And I was like, I don't know if I will find that again. I just don't want to subject myself to being her specifically like that. So Yeah, I feel like with JPJ, you got I keep used saying his name. I've said all like five different ways. I feel like with JPJ. He gave you what was missing for you in other relationships, and sometimes maybe that's like what you hold on to and what you're drawn to, and then time goes on and you realize you maybe need a little bit more in a relationship. So time did go on for you, guys, and we saw you go see him. Where was he in Baltimore? Is that where it was? He's in Maryland, Maryland, So we see you go see him in Maryland. You guys get back together your boyfriend and girlfriend official? And how much time passed between then and the now breakup? That was the end of July. So July, August, September, October. Okay, did you guys talking in between leaving Paradise and going out? So that was like that was honestly the first time I saw him, spoke to him anything. I wouldn't say left. Did you feel like you're stomach who was going to fall out of your butt? I would have been freaking out. You don't even know. I was higraventilating, I was shaking. I was like and it was super hot that day. Um, it was just well it looked good. We couldn't yeah, I know, we couldn't tell thank you very much. I knew he was going to take you back. I mean, if everything what he was saying about you and Paradise was true, then this was a dream that literally just knocked on his door for him. Yeah, So take us through that time off camera between July and where are we now? November July and November first or October when you guys broke up. Um, what how did your relationship progress? I'm or didn't. I mean, honestly, it was very slow. Um, I feel like we had just gone back from paradise. John was still working at nine to five. Um, he went actually straight to work the next day after he came back from Paradise. So, and again he's a financial analyst, so his work is very grueling. He doesn't, he told me since the day like we got together. He's like, listen, and I'm at where I'm at work. If I don't respond, I'm not going to respond because I just I'm in it one And I said, that's totally fine. But we're also a three hour time difference. So, um, we really just relied on facetimean John got an entirely new phones that we could facetimey even better. Before that, No, he just halm, like I don't even know, like the first literally, oh my gosh. And so he went straight to a Verizon store. I got a brand new cell phone, and he was just like, Tage, I could FaceTime your now because that was like a huge part for us um And I was traveling a bunch. I just realized that last weekend was my first weekend home since mid August. Like I had been gone every single weekend, every single minute. Honestly, so John working nine to five, me traveling a bunch and trying to squeeze in too, like see him when I can it Just like it was hard. It's really really hard. And I did do long distance at one point. I did it for three years, but at that point I was in college, ID you know, he was working, and I was okay with that setting. At this point in my life, I want someone to be with me. I need to be able to be in the same town with them. You want to have that serious relationship, right you've been trying to find. I get that. I did long distance for a while after college and going on the show. That was the one thing I was nervous about coming off of. When I was finally with Garrett is I said, I don't want to do long distance, so we have to figure out it's where we're going to be, and it's you know, your life is changing as you have experienced. Your world kind of blows up after you get off the show and you have all these great opportunities and you're traveling like crazy, which that in itself is already hard on a relationship. So adding the long distance, I can't imagine how difficult that would have been. And I think people are like, oh, like you were just parting, You're just having fun, like you can make a decision. But it's like also at the same time, I need to live my life too, and it is opportunities, but it's also work in a way. I am working, I was traveling for work. I go to a ton of expos so actually there was an expot in Baltimore and I was able to see John for an hour and a half while I was there. So I tried to make it work as much as I possibly could, but it really it was hard. Go ahead, go ahead, I want to know, so this long di since would you say, were you both equally putting in that time to try to make it work, or would you say you were doing the brunt of it. I wouldn't say that. I would say that John did fly out to come see me. I would say two weeks after I went out to Baltimore to go get him back. So he did make an effort with that, and that's when he met all of my friends. And at that time we were in hiding, so it was kind of silly. Honestly, we had to like stay in a car the whole time and in a hotel room. But I don't know he would like send me he sent me flowers my birthday. I really don't know how to say, like who put more effort in? Like what do you want me to say? Like I called you ten times today and you called me only four? You know what I mean? So it's kind of hard to say like putting in more effort. And I'm sure week is different it is. I'm gonna I'm gonna get into some tougher questions. Yeah, please, So John Paul Jones announced that he was moving to California, So that eliminates the long distance factor, right, has he moved here already? He moved here a week ago. Okay, so he moved here a week ago, and you guys broke up within a week, So I guess it's safe to say that long distance wasn't the issue in your relationship. I. Yes, there are other factors. There were definitely other factors as to why we are not together today, but I will say that long distance didn't help it anyway. Yeah, And I guess. And I'm asking you because you know, a lot of a lot of people have been critical of your relationship with John, like, let's just put it out there. And I know one of the things that they talk about is the fact that, um, you know, they didn't believe the relationship that you had with one another. And so I want to give you the opportunity to dispel those rumors because if you're saying it's distanced, but then he moved here, you know, I don't. I don't feel like you have to tell everybody exactly why you broke up, but just more of saying your piece so people aren't putting in their own preconceived notions. Yeah. Yeah, and it's hard because they don't want to. Like I will never bad mouth John in any way, shape or form, but like, we each have our own flaws, and I think communication is a really big deal I learned from my previous relationship that I would I'm very much so overcommunicative, if you will, because I need everyone to know where I'm at, and so I know that John can say that I am very vocal about my feelings and what's upsetting me, what's taking me happy, and giving him backstory so that way he knows what he's doing is affecting me in a certain way. But that's all I can do. What he can do is listen to that and try to navigate our relationship with that information I'm giving him. So if you're choosing to not I don't know, communicate, If you're choosing to have that stuff go in one ear and out the other and cause problems, then that's on you. Can I just say that dating a financial guy or an engineer, like they have the same there it's hard to communicate, Like it's hard for them to communicate because they think in a different way. There's something about it. Well, I'm sure when you're so analytical, yeah maybe not necessarily in number is driven, but you're you're ninety five is focused on something. It probably is hard to turn that off, turn that off and then feel like, oh I can let out my feelings and I can talk about my emotions and I can. Yeah, I see that. No, Yeah, it's tough. Like for me, for example, I'm very analytical, but not in the same way like an engineer or you know, like a finance guy is. But when it comes to it's like I have to learn to turn it off. You know, I'm listening to an argument and poking holes in it and I'm just supposed to be having a conversation, you know, in my relationships. So you have to learn how to turn it off. And that comes with age and experience. You know. I wasn't always able to do that, and I still struggle with it. And so it just sounds like maybe you guys were on two different pages. Is that fair to say? It is fair to say, And I definitely told him. I'm like, hey, honestly, I just want you to experience a little bit more life. I feel like you just need to live a little bit and learn a little bit, because I feel like I can only do so much and I can only give you so much insight into me. But if you are just stuck in your own ways and you're like kind of trying to dive in deeper to what I'm trying to tell you, it's and make issues. It's not. It's not going to benefit this in any way. And how old is JPJ? He's twenty four? Twenty four, I know anyone says that, but he has like a job, he does have his feet on the ground. Yeah, yeah, the youngest in He was the youngest in his firm for quite some time. Now, you know that's a serious, it's over there. I just have a weird thing where I when I was a bouchelor and they asked, Okay, what's your type when we're looking I was like, I don't have a type, but I just want them to be my age or older. I was not looking to date anyone younger. And that's just me personally. And I've dated guys that are younger than me and obviously it didn't work out. But I'm like, I need them to like be on my same level and to have experienced enough life. And obviously it takes men a little bit longer than women to grow up and mature. And so I mean props to you because I feel like I would maybe have shut down and just like seeing only the numbers, and so I'm glad that you still opened yourself up to somebody who and you know everything. For the most part, he does sound great. It's just the age barrier and the communication immaturity. Yeah, you know. I mean John is definitely not the typical guy would go after in the sense of his age and his fun, goofy nature and all that kind of stuff. Usually look for a guy that's a little bit more serious and a little older and all that stuff. But that's why I went after him because obviously I'm not finding someone where my standards are so like, what if this guy is exactly what I want, it's just package a little differently, you know, Like I feel like, oh gosh, I said I was gonna ask you tough questions, So I'm just asking because I want you to have the opportunity to just be completely clear. J p J said that he moved to la for you. Well, one, is that true, because if it is, then it kind of goes to the listening that you need him around you don't want to do the distance. It seems like he was really trying to make the relationship work. So did he move to LA for you? And this article makes me It makes me upset to be honest with you because he Obviously John wants to be closer to me, that's one thing, But he did not move to La for me, And the fact that that's like the headline really does piss me off because since the very beginning, and I've told my friends, my family, like everyone knows this, I will not have someone move for me unless we're in a serious relationship, whether it be engagement, to whether it be we've been dating you for four years, whatever it is. I did that in the past, and I ended up resenting that person. And it's because I quit my job. I upwroarted my life. I moved away from my family and my friends, and I became depressed. I was not happy. But I did it because I wanted to be with that person. Yeah, so I know how that feels. And the last thing I would I've ever want is for John to quit a job that he worked so hard to get and that's what he went to school for him, move away from his family, his friends, come to tan where. You know, LA's not for everyone. I hate La. I'll never move La. Okay, let's just be honest. So for him to come down here and then just not feel himself and then say we didn't work out. Now he's here, and why did he move here. He moved because he wanted to be an actor, and because he was getting auditions and he didn't it was just easier for him to attend those as opposed to flying out. That's why he moved here. And he knew that story since the very beginning. So now that people are like ll tation, he just uparated its entire life for you. It makes you look like the come on, that's why. Hey, when people just read headlines and they don't like listen to other sides or even read the full story. And I will say, like, coming off of the show, you're, like I said, your entire world was kind of flipped upside down, and you have so many opportunities, so many invites to all these great places in LA because everything happens here. And I'm sure you know, being a guy coming from the show, you have all this new found notoriety and attention and of course like it's fun and it's shiny and exciting. So they're definitely I could see why he would move right, especially if you wants to be an actor, to come to this area because that's where it's all happening, right, But for him to just say, oh, I moved here solely for her, that does make you look like the bad guy. And it does much more too the story, which is why you go back to communication. It goes back to are you listening to me? You know what I mean? So don't make it seem like something else when it's really not. And I've like poured out my heart and told you how I feel, do you know what? And I think that's fair and thank you for being honest about that. And I think what perpetuates the storyline even further of he moved it from you you left him, making it seem like you weren't as interested in him as when you have other people from Bachelor Nation start putting their input into whatever the story is right, And I think that that's not fair because only truly, only you and jp J know what happened in your relationship as many times as you tell the story, but because we're all a part of this franchise, when another person from the France speaks out about it, it holds, whether true or not, some clout because they come from this franchise. So I'm going somewhere with this story. Are you cool with Dylan. I don't know. I don't know. I didn't think there was anything wrong between us, do you know what? Apparently there is? So Dylan tweeted right after your announcement, color me shocked. I think everybody took that as a reference to what you had just announced. Yeah, And I'm asking if you're cool because first of all, I'm trying to just, you know, take away the fact that he actually even knows what he's talking about where he when he tweets that. But when you see things like that, how does that make you feel? It's like, really like you saw us in Paradise number one, Okay, you know us, you know me. Why you're sharing the pot you're just putting in other people's heads like you're validating like their speculation about my relationship And you don't even know what I'm talking about or my relationship. So what's his input? I don't understand, honestly, I hate to I don't know well, And I don't get like everyone has their opinions, everyone has the right to comment on things. I don't get the pointless tweets and the pointless comments, Like for me, it's just kind of a waste of everyone's time. It's kind of like, you know how we all get DM it's about everything, And half the time, it's like, why did you even feel the need to type that out and take time out of your day to write that and then take time out of my day or everyone else's day to read that when you're not going to even give any more context to it. It just it doesn't make sense to me. Oh, it makes sense to me. I think it's just purely for attention. Yeah, and just for attention. I think Dylan doesn't because we were fine on the beach. I don't know if it's he doesn't like me anymore because Hannah and I had like a little bit of a tiff, which want to but the thing is, Hannah, if Hannah did that to me, I could understand. Dylan, Okay, just because you're her fiance. Now you're gonna like poke fun at me and like try to like start a fine with me. It's dead and done. Like Danna and I are not feuding? Are you and JPJ friends? Um? I wouldn't say, so, Okay, I don't think there's any beef there or on John's part, but apparently maybe on Dylan's. Yeah, So going back to hands, Yes, we saw some tension. Have been on the stage during the finale. Where are you guys at now? Um, we don't communicate, so it's just dead and done. And but that's nothing like, that's nothing different, Like we were never ever texting each other all the time or right hanging out her. So you get so after Colton's season obviously where you met. Were you ever close on that season or was it more because I get it, like living with thirty some girls, you're not going to be best friends with everyone. There's definitely girls on my season, well are a season that I you know, I respect them, but I'm I don't ever feel the need to tell them or checking on them, and you don't have to. You don't have to. And I think that that's a big misconception. We've talked about it here on the podcast, is that people think because we all came from this world together, that we're all supposed to be best friends. You can be friendly and cordial and that's fine, but my god, the show's been all for seventeen years. It's exhausting. There's so many of us. Yeah, no, for sure, but no, I really I'm really glad you were being open and honest and spoke about like other people having their input on issues they know absolutely nothing about, because it's just, you know, you're already going through your own thing. You know, people forget that you actually experienced a break up and you're trying to get over that, and so is John, you know, in his defense as well, and now you have to defend yourself to people you don't even know when things like this happen, right, And they have their own platform, they have a lot of people that follow them and look at you know, look up to them. So if you're just putting it out there, it's just bad juju. Stay away from me. Can I just get some detail about it? Because obviously it's a show, so things are edited in a certain way. And yeah, you know, things that don't seem like a small deal could be bigger things that are a big deal that are shown. Probably Eric, that's big. So what was so you make it seem like you and Hannah didn't you know? It was it was more of just an understanding that you guys didn't need to be best friends. It was pretty There wasn't like any real feeling or tension. Was there tension going into Paradise or was it after the fact that she had been dating Blake and then he took you on the first date and there was no tension going into Paradise or at all with any of the women. I think it's just just the way things unfolded. It was just like it. I'm usually upfront and honest, that's just how I am. Apparently I was naive going into Paradise thinking that you actually genuinely meet people on the beach to try to date them, and not prior to the show. So maybe that's my own problem, but it just rubbed me the wrong way. That's It's as simple as that. And so I confronted her at the end of the finale or the reunion, whatever you want to call it. We did say like, hey, I'm sorry, like that everything was it blew up the way it did. Let's just move on and be happy. So that's why I'm saying when Dylan says this stuff, it's like, obviously you still harbor some type of like and in your mind it's already in the past. It's done, it doesn't need to be brought up again. Move on. What I'm over, I'm muting. No, I'm muting myself. I like, I hate that that you had to defenders, truly had to defend yourself when it comes to that. But I like that you spoke on you and Hannah, and I like that just because you don't have to be friends, but you guys squashed everything. You've just moved on with your lives and that's good. Like I'm glad to know that there's no beef when it comes to that. And even though Dylan did insert himself with a tweet, I hope that that doesn't stir anything up because I think you and Hannah are cool. Yeah moving forward, I mean, yeah, I saw it and I just rolled my eyes. And yeah, because you and Hannah were Holton's top three. I mean that in itself, very few people experience that sort of feeling, that way of dating, and so in some sort of sense, I would hope that you guys have that mutual respect for each other to get to that point and know what it felt like. And yeah, again, you don't have to be best friends, but to still understand we went through something. And when I say I bonded you in a way, it doesn't have to be like a best friend bond, but it so bonded you and you guys understood it, and so then to kind of go from that into paradise again where you're potentially dating the same people, you just have to understand like that's the name of the game. But you don't have to like hate each other or be best sis in that situation, right, And I think even more so not only were you to the top three, but because of the way that finale ended, and there was just so much attention around it, not just because of the fence, but just because of what happened to you and Hannah and how you guys were let go. I think you also shared something too, even more so than it's never happened before. And anyway, I never experienced quite like that. Like, yeah, I was with Lauren and Kendall in my top three, and but that was more standard. It was more of the show structure. But yeah, yours goes beyond that. It's still different. And like we also message each other, or actually right before that finale with Colton that we were like you got this, Like we're supporting each other. Yeah, girl power are we got it? And it sounds like y'all still do support each other. I hope. Yeah, it really does, at least on my end. You know, you know, something that you said stuck with me. It made me think of something else when you talked about coming into Paradise and you didn't realize that all the stuff that had gone down before and it's it's new. It's it's really I always I compare it to sports. It's tampering all this contact before you know Paradise, and some people are a fan of it, some people are against it. I personally am on the side of being against it. I know there's gonna be some communication, but not like the way things went down. It was a lot. It was and it got ugly and messy, and we saw it play out before, during, and after Paradise. But I feel like you have such a different perspective coming into this entire franchise because you are a minority in the sin of you have been married before and then you've experienced the heartbreak of losing that relationship in the divorce, and you went through some things in that relationship, and I remember you talking about it on Colton's season. Do you feel like that does really affect you as far as how you navigate these relationships when it comes to this franchise of course, like I'm not going to waste my time. And that's the same thing with like how it worked out with John and I in Paradise. It's like, I'm not going to waste your time. I'm not going to waste my time if I'm not going to feel I'm not gonna say I'm gonna I feel something when I don't, you know what I mean. And also with Derek, I didn't see potential there, so I'm not going to lead him on and be like, oh, let's play around and stick around, like That's not the name of the game for me. It's I'm trying to find someone, you know what I mean, well, and which it seems like this season not for you, of course, but for others where it was this is a friendship, Rose, and I wanted give it to you to stick around longer and hope that you reciprocate next week. It just right. And again, I haven't watched of Paradise one full season just because I get Aunty and I can't just it just me. But but I did watch some of it, and so it felt it. I mean, I know the premise of the show. Of course they've seen bits and pieces, So it seemed weird that that was for some people the motive right where it didn't feel like, then why are you going to Paradise? Like why don't you just have friendships back home? And that's my point, like figure it out at home. You clearly like each other. Just why do you need to go on the beach? You know? I mean, I'll tell you why because you have a onethlong vacation. In my room, I heard the shrimp tacos are amazing. They are bomb. Actually the food is amazing in paradise. Your paradise is miserable. It is the food. I can I take a break from Garrett for Yeah, who are you close with in the franchise? Like? Who do you consider a friend? Um? There's actually quite a few. Um, Sydney, She's a real one. Nicole Um Christian actually has become one of my really good friends as well, Demise Christian. Um? Who else? Katherine? Do you guys remember Katherine? I actually met her and she's very She's literally everything. I love her. Katherine, she's one that interrupted Colton four times with the dog? Um? Who else? I don't know? Kurtpa That was my thinking, Oh my god, I'm gonna get so many messages saying like, Titia, really you forgot about me. There's a there's a there's a few of them. You know who you are? Yeah, they know exactly who they are. I was asking that question for a reason why, I like, no, no, no, not, I just forgot my question. I was going somewhere with wondering who your friends were, and I forgot the guys. Any of the guys I don't. I don't text them often. That's like what you're asking. I'm trying to think. I don't know. It's a weird world. It really is. It's there's a I can't even remember my name half the time, so to like, I will say I'm still friends with a couple of the girls in my season, but only a handful. Yeah, because it's it's just say those that I mentioned I texted daily. Yeah yeah, I mean, well, and those ones live so close, right, so I mean except for Nicole, but like I swear Nicole will fly down here tomorrow if I needed her. So, oh my gosh, this seems like that was it was it you that like pushed her one of there's a memo there that I think I watched like twenty seven times because I thought it was so funny. It was well, was it in context? Well we got into that point. Was she push pushing her on the bed? Yeah, oh it was. Was it about Angela? Yes, yes, yes, because angel had walked by, and then like as soon as Angela walked by, Nicole is like waving and I was just like, get out of here, like we're doing with that, and so I pushed her head. Oh I've missed that. Instagram you later. You know It's good, though. Do you do you feel like after your breakup with JPJ that you need a break from this franchise? I honestly, right now, I like I can actually breathe, which is weird. No, it's not like you do you feel like you have some of your not independence because obviously you guys weren't living in the same area, but just that you now don't have to worry about like explaining that relationship any longer to people. I am so sublust of people saying what I'm doing is fake, Like are you seeing me like cry at night? Are you seeing me like laughing, like spend time with my boyfriend? No, you're not. I'm also tired of people constantly asking me where someone else is, and I'm just like, I'm just with my girlfriends, Like, can I live for a minute. Why do you think that people immediately their first thing is, oh, she couldn't possibly like JPJ. She's doing it for followers. I don't know because maybe like on the show John, I'm so head over heels and like, I didn't know I wanted him this second I saw him, So I guess clearly I'm not in it. Do you know what my fault was when people said that about you? I was like, Okay, I'm just gonna call a spade a spade. Titi's black, Like she knows that she's not gonna get like top notch followers in this franchise, so her dating jp J is not gonna give her, you know, like millions of followers. So next try again. Plays That's really what I thought. If I wanted followers, wouldn't I be posting about him every second? That all right? That that perpetuate, Yes, the likes and the follows. I get it annoys me that people set that for you, Like why can't she like JPJ? Why can't it be real? Right? And I will I don't know you that well, Yeah, I spent a little time together, especially on the podcast, but you just seem real like you seem down to earth. You don't seem like you're somebody to like chase the fame like I've seen with other people coming from the show. But so that's why I thought it was weird. I will say, when I first heard that you two were together, my just thought was that is the strangest couple just be sure. Yeah, of course, only because you from what I've seen, you're just so down to earth. You're eloquent to your mature and JPJ have only met once at the wedding, but he was just a character. He was He was great to chat with, but he was a character. So I was just I was just taking him back when I heard that you guys were together. But I would have never you know, I didn't think like she she's not the type of girl to like for the fame. Yeah, I've come on, I'm twenty nine years old, Okay, I'm not trying to be something I'm not at this point, and I'm not gonna put myself in a situation just to do it. I just I just don't. You're twenty nine, you've been married and divorced before, So for you, it's like it's not a game, it's serious. And I think that people really need to take that in perspective into perspective and not just look at it as like, oh, he seems to be goofy okay, but why can't he be so much more than that? There's only one other side you're saying of him, No, I know him better. Yeah, right, and we'll take that back to like why I fell for him in Paradise is because he can be silly and goofy, and I have that side too. But also at the same time, when the cameras weren't around, we did have very intellectual conversations. We had spiritual conversations. We just we had good conversations that like connected with him on that's the boring stuff that they never Yeah, and he gets so much good funny content that of course sense with but there was more depths to him and not a lot of people saw that, and so people are just like, well, why is she with him? I have two really random questions. Yeah. Number one, when you drew him, do you still have that? You know what? I think the Bachelor Office has also did you actually draw him? Because I well, I also have a very small TV. It's like the size of a microwave, so I need a magnifying glass to ever see anything. But did you actually draw him? Like, yeah, it's person. Yeah, Well I mean I would yeah, but yeah I really did try. Are you I'm not an artist? Actually my sister is a phenomenal artist. But I mean I'll try. You know, you're probably way better than me. Question two. Sorry, I'm totally going off topic. I'm clearly not a great synation. I want to know, Okay, watching your hometown with on Colton season with your family, your dad, he's a hard ass, like he's tough. You can clearly tell he cares about you, which I appreciate. But how did he feel when you came home? Well, not necessarily when you came home, because you didn't go back to JPJ for a little bit. But did he ever meet JPJ? And how did that go? What did he think of him? Took good questions? He met him vface time, and the first thing he asked me was like, hey, I just want to make sure your stomach's okay, because, like Jane, try to kill him with the hot talk us. And he's like, were you really vomitating like that, like are you Oh yeah, He's like come up with some good food and that kind of thing. But he Honestly, my dad, my parents in general, they just they trust me. So if I'm going to bring someone into my life, I know that they're going to have my back and they just trust my judgment. Right. So yeah, what's your relationship like right now with Jjohn? Do you y'all still? I know it's fresh? Yeah, but when you ended a relationship, how did you guys walk away from each other? I mean, we saw your post, but it was you know, it was an Instagram post and it was politically correct if you want to, if you if you if I could phrase it into anything, but truly for some people, well you know you can't please everybody, especially, but how truly, how are you too right now? And did you talk about future? How you'd be moving forward? Um? Honestly, John and I had a really good UM conversation. Our last conversation was really good. UM in Santa Monica when we met up with each other. It was just we both feel like it's just not the right time for us and we don't want to um completely cut each other out of each other's lives right now. Right now, we can't really keep talking because we need to kind of move on and heal. But we will be friends. Um whatever the future holds, the future holds, But um, I don't know. I just still think he needs to kind of realize I was a real I was real, and I was just trying to be like upround and honest, and I was just trying to honestly create a foundation for a real relationship. I wasn't trying to play games. I'm not a twenty four year old that's trying to like, I don't know, mess around. So what's next for you? Like, can I just say selfishly? In my mind, I'm like, Okay, no offense to JPJ. But I'm like, okay, she's single. Like I'd really think I'm a really good matchmaker. I have matched people up who have been married. So I'm like, okay, going down the list in my head, take your time. I'll have a list for you when you're ready. Ok, why don't we just nominate her for The Bachelor Live on Stage tour. Oh, I'm a bachelorette, let's take it. Let's take her, Oh or Bachelor. Yeah, you know you think you long term. I'm thinking I just want to hang out with you. Know, we know you've got a new show coming up that you write thirteenth y'all make sure you get your tickets now. You can get them at Bachelorlive onstage dot com. There you go back up. But I will say, Tai, if you were the Bachelorrette. Okay, I was telling Rachel this a couple of days ago. I feel like no offense to the show because it has done so much in so much obviously brought me my fiance, but so much for me. But I it's it's lost a little bit of its luster because I feel like now I'm a grandma watching and I just feel old and sort of disconnected. So we're the same age. And I'm not calling you a grandma by any means, but I would love to watch some Not to say people aren't there for the right reasons, but you seem like you really want to find your person, and I would love to watch that, and I would root for you. I'd call in, I'd give you my vote. Let me tell you something, You're not going to come back and co host if you call yourself a grandma one more time, because if you're a grandma. I'm already in the grave at the top of the coffin. Okay, like, no, it wasn't wasn't intent on Colton season that. I think she was my age that got called the grandma. Yeah, the girl host crying in the closet, Elie, oh Tracy her. Yeah, I related hard to her, did you No? No, no, I loved it. I wore it. I was like, I'm the mom of the house. Um, so what's next for you, Tasha? Um? Honestly, right now, I'm just I'm working that. I also, I'm traveling, I'm living with my I'm doing stuff with my family. I don't know. I'm just living life good as you should, surrounding yourself with love, light, people who feel the same way about you, who know you, who get you. One more question before we go. I'm a big New Year's Eve person. Yeah, it's my favorite. I love Halloween too. Well, let me back it up, my birthday it's my favorite holiday. Then I love Halloween, but New Year's Eve is my favorite favorite holiday. There is just something about I am one of those people who really buys into the it's a fresh star. Things are starting new my planner, Yeah, like I need to be surrounded with the right people and bring this in the right way. So twenty twenties coming up, do you have any personal goals that you're setting for yourself going into the new year. Oh, that's a good question, to be quite honest with you. I have nothing planned, not even for the next week. Maybe' well maybe March could be your busy time because it's when about short starts. Oh my gosh, I'm all for it, Tasia, But no, seriously, maybe maybe the plan is having no plan, right, like I taking everything day by day, step by step and just seeing what happens and what comes into your life. To be honest, it's like the first time in a long time, I can't even tell you how long in my twenties that I like have like no agenda and I just focus on you. And I think that's when the best things come, is when you are settled and good with yourself and not like dead set on any certain thing, because that's that's over possible, I mean possible, But do you and I think good things will come. I just want to be ready. You know you are ready. You just put it. I'm put it out there, say I'm say say it with us you're ready, he's ready. Okay, you guys can't see this when we're giving each other high pod but not actually connecting, because we are filming a podcast and the sound would not be great. But listen, Taitia, come from two former bachelrettes. You've already heard Becca say it, and I seconded it if we were if this was a real meeting and I could sec at the motion. We both think that you'd be fantastic bachelorettes. So we're putting it out there for you. Um, would you say yes if they ask you? Yeah? Took too long? Respond Yeah. Make sure y'all cut out that pause. Okay, let's just cut out that those two seconds east, but well worth it's worth it, and just think of it as you're in control. I remember I tweeted that for you backa. I was like, Becca, you were in control. I think I used some corny, like some corny oh yeah, the mansion doing all that.
