<v Speaker 1>Welcome on into the Non Tender Podcast, the best place <v Speaker 1>for current Nintendo speculation, appreciation, and condemnation. My name is Wood. <v Speaker 2>It is a. <v Speaker 1>Cool, cold, cold seven pm here on the East Coast, <v Speaker 1>but it's okay because I'm sharing body warms with Salia Knight. <v Speaker 2>Go Bag Everybody, twenty twenty six Nontendal Podcast. Say the <v Speaker 2>studio looks beautiful. <v Speaker 1>You guys have no idea how much we've been obsessing. <v Speaker 1>Everyone's been obsessing. I've been obsessing. We've all been obsessing <v Speaker 1>over this show, and up to the last second, I <v Speaker 1>was obsessing with pretty much. <v Speaker 2>You're very passionate about it. <v Speaker 1>I could tell thank you. I appreciate. Well, yeah, kinda. <v Speaker 1>But also all that matters is we're back. <v Speaker 2>We're back twenty twenty six. Guys, twenty twenty six. <v Speaker 1>We this I I'm so I'm honestly so excited. I'm <v Speaker 1>also very very scattered brain because there are so many <v Speaker 1>new things happening right now. Off the rip, I want <v Speaker 1>to let you guys know that today's topic is we're <v Speaker 1>going to be ranking every single Nintendo Switch two game. <v Speaker 1>I wanted to jump in with something a lot more <v Speaker 1>topical and evergreen, but also we haven't done a show <v Speaker 1>in like four months, so I mean this show is <v Speaker 1>Miss kirby a Riders, Hira Warriors Metroid. Yeah, I mean, <v Speaker 1>who knows what I think of that game? I might <v Speaker 1>love that. <v Speaker 3>I'm interested to see what your take on that. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, let's see. Let's see when we get there what <v Speaker 1>I think of Match Why Prime. But before we get there, <v Speaker 1>I want to get to know the crew a little bit. <v Speaker 1>So I want to do everybody's three favorite games. And <v Speaker 1>before we even get there, I would like to say <v Speaker 1>thank you one more time, just here to everybody watching <v Speaker 1>that godess here that made this possible. Thank you. I'm <v Speaker 1>not want and on about it, but I do really <v Speaker 1>really appreciate it. And there's some new things around here, <v Speaker 1>so the show is finally going to have some kind <v Speaker 1>of structure, you know, like we're going to try some <v Speaker 1>things out and see how we go. I would like <v Speaker 1>to start every episode with like games we've been playing recently, <v Speaker 1>and have like a little segment there before we move <v Speaker 1>into the main topic. I still want to bounce around, <v Speaker 1>being very topical and covering things that's happening in news <v Speaker 1>right now, while doing some episodes like this where it's <v Speaker 1>you know you can go back and watch it whenever <v Speaker 1>you want. Also, this is new, this is on the TV. <v Speaker 1>But yeah, so if you super chat more than ten <v Speaker 1>or you give more than five stubs, it pops up <v Speaker 1>on the TV behind me. If you're listening to the audio, <v Speaker 1>you don't have to worry about that. And then again, <v Speaker 1>thank you for the huge Patreon support that came in. <v Speaker 1>Really truly calmed my nerves in a lot of ways. <v Speaker 1>And there's so many new patreons over then. I can't wait. <v Speaker 1>I can't wait to give you guys the physical rewards <v Speaker 1>for u VIPs. And also everyone's been enjoying the behind <v Speaker 1>the scenes we've posted every single day the last week. <v Speaker 1>Shout out to Caleb for that. Who's in the back <v Speaker 1>room right now, Caleb. Yeah, Caleb has been doing awesome <v Speaker 1>with that. So Okay, that all set. I think that's <v Speaker 1>everything I had to get out the way. If if <v Speaker 1>I've forgotten something, I will be annoyed later. But I <v Speaker 1>think that's it for now. Let's talk about everyone's three <v Speaker 1>favorite games. Ok, thank you, Professor Rock. Oh, and we're <v Speaker 1>going to think we're going to actually read all the <v Speaker 1>super chats at the end. Sally's gonna pile them all <v Speaker 1>up for me, and then we're going to hit him <v Speaker 1>at the end and we're going to answer them all <v Speaker 1>answer as many as we can. We'll just reply to <v Speaker 1>them this first This was supposed to be really inintrusive, <v Speaker 1>and I'm not realizing for this first show, my my, <v Speaker 1>it might calm. <v Speaker 3>Downy man, looks great. <v Speaker 1>I like it looks all right, Sally. I want to <v Speaker 1>start with you. I want to get your top three <v Speaker 1>favorite games of all time so we can all get <v Speaker 1>to know you. And I know you're number one already. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>you already know my number one, but you can you <v Speaker 1>can tease it if you will, you can save it <v Speaker 1>if you don't want to start there. <v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, I'll start out with my third favorite game, <v Speaker 2>which is Mario and We You Superstar Saga Classic. <v Speaker 1>Yeah that's a deep cut, I feel. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I mean that's a good one. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's in my opinion, the best out of the <v Speaker 2>all five Mario and g RPGs. <v Speaker 1>How do you feel about the latest one, the Brothers Brothership? <v Speaker 2>Oh? I actually be like, okay, good, did you play? Yeah? <v Speaker 2>You did? <v Speaker 1>I did? Did you talk about that right now? We'll <v Speaker 1>talk about that, Like, yeah, I get that one. I <v Speaker 1>agreed with I g yeah, I got it if you <v Speaker 1>remember a fight out, but I don't want to. <v Speaker 2>It's okay, you know, I'm not out here to the <v Speaker 2>one that. <v Speaker 1>You like, your favorite one, love that one? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Superstar Saga. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, and I like Boss Inside Story too. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's like the fan favorite. Yeah. Yeah, so Superstar <v Speaker 2>Saga number three, number two, O Tree one specific yeah yeah, yeah, yeah. <v Speaker 1>We've been bunding over some Zelda you and me. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, definitely. I mean, come on, I feel like I'm <v Speaker 2>a bigger Zelda fan than Mario fan, even though seem <v Speaker 2>that way low Mario. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, but I hope you like I hop you need <v Speaker 1>to balance this out with some Mario love. Oh yeah, <v Speaker 1>we'll see the rest of this. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. And then obviously favorites. That was the game you <v Speaker 2>already know, or game in general is TOTK. <v Speaker 1>That's why I bought this little guy for you on <v Speaker 1>my desk here. <v Speaker 3>Nice. <v Speaker 2>It was before before that, I was Breath of the Wild. <v Speaker 2>What really captivated me about Breath of the Wild was <v Speaker 2>like the open world, yeah, com yeah, not having a <v Speaker 2>follow in your path like for Nintendo. It was like <v Speaker 2>the most ambitious game I had ever seen. Oh yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 2>and then with tot K, they obviously just took it <v Speaker 2>another step further glorified del C. Yeah, I mean that's <v Speaker 2>exactly now. <v Speaker 1>We had We talked about all of that last week <v Speaker 1>on the bonus episode that which we did a bonus <v Speaker 1>for Patreons. <v Speaker 2>We did. <v Speaker 1>It was like we were testing things out and talking <v Speaker 1>and we instantly got talking about Tears of the Kingdom <v Speaker 1>and whether or not we felt that it was glorified <v Speaker 1>d and you and I agree. <v Speaker 2>You convinced me because I didn't look at it that way. <v Speaker 2>But then it's like when you break it down, like <v Speaker 2>it's the same exact map, like when you look at <v Speaker 2>like Major's mask and OT it's like the same engine, <v Speaker 2>same mechanics, however, just a completely different Yeah. <v Speaker 1>But the way I look at it, and I said, <v Speaker 1>is like there's two ways of saying glorified DNC. I mean, <v Speaker 1>you could be like it's just glorified deal C, or <v Speaker 1>you can be like it's glorified deal See It's it's <v Speaker 1>it's DEALC like you've never seen before, which is what <v Speaker 1>I feel like. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. Yeah, so I feel like with TOTK, they fixed <v Speaker 2>up everything that Breath of the Wild locked in. Like <v Speaker 2>for example, my biggest gripe about Breath of the Wild <v Speaker 2>was like, when you get a really good item, yeah, <v Speaker 2>it breaks. <v Speaker 1>You don't want to breakup items in general? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, when totk, I mean I still break. You could <v Speaker 2>fuse them with like you know, dragon parts or like <v Speaker 2>lionel parts or whatever, so like it increases the durability <v Speaker 2>and the attack on it. <v Speaker 1>That was a good compromise. Yeah, while still having it <v Speaker 1>like break all the time. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, diving from the sky and why not. But I <v Speaker 2>mean that's that's my favorite game. <v Speaker 1>No, that's awesome. I like that. I mean you got <v Speaker 1>a Mario when you got two Zelda's, which is a <v Speaker 1>good race you would have. Yeah, and I agree, it's good. <v Speaker 2>I like it. <v Speaker 1>I think everyone's gonna like you. Yeah, all right, big <v Speaker 1>shoes feel night? How you feel? <v Speaker 2>Well? <v Speaker 3>First off, those are very good picks. <v Speaker 2>I do like that. <v Speaker 3>I mean I've been thinking about this ever since. Really <v Speaker 3>you suggested that we talk about it. Yeah, oh man, <v Speaker 3>but all right, I'll go from number three to number one. <v Speaker 3>So number three kind of a surprise, not really to me. <v Speaker 3>But i'd say last of Us part. <v Speaker 1>One, okay. I yeah, I was considering putting that in mind. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I had a top five in mind. <v Speaker 3>So I've played it fairly recently, fairly recently, like five <v Speaker 3>years ago, right, but it was right when the pandemic started, <v Speaker 3>and so I kind of felt like, wow, kind of <v Speaker 3>fitting that. It's like an outbreak of whatever the virus <v Speaker 3>was that basically just took the entire country by storm. <v Speaker 1>Work that everyone else was playing animal crossing and you <v Speaker 1>will find something. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, but yeah, last was part one. I've thoroughly enjoyed, <v Speaker 3>memorable moments. I loved the show too, the show, but <v Speaker 3>I have not yet played the second part yet. <v Speaker 1>Oh don't, I said, I said this too. <v Speaker 3>I'm waiting until that is free in order in order <v Speaker 3>to play it. I'm not paying anything for it right now. <v Speaker 3>But we'll see what when we get there. So that's <v Speaker 3>number three, okay, number two, Uh, number two, I have <v Speaker 3>to say Pokemon Diamond Okay, so okay, Pokemon Diamonds. So <v Speaker 3>this this will reveal how how young I am. Right, <v Speaker 3>Pokemon Diamond was my first ever Pokemon game. Okay, I <v Speaker 3>played absolute crap out of it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's a good one. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, finished the Poke Dex. <v Speaker 2>Uh. <v Speaker 3>Tried to do some trades because there were some weird <v Speaker 3>uh Pokemon that were unavailable at the time too. I <v Speaker 3>think if you need the other games, so Pokemon Diamond, Memorable, <v Speaker 3>Love the Trainers, Love the Pokemon Churchwig was my starter. <v Speaker 1>So I feel like you said, like you're showing your <v Speaker 1>age because diamond is your favorite because you started with <v Speaker 1>a diamond or whatever. But no, I really feel like, uh, <v Speaker 1>I feel like people that even started on like Red <v Speaker 1>and Blue, there's a lot of like diamond heads and <v Speaker 1>what's what's the diamond and pearl, right, Dimon Pearl Platinum. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I feel like that's like a sweet spot for <v Speaker 1>a lot of people. <v Speaker 3>Yeah yeah, okay, so yeah, Pokemon number two and then <v Speaker 3>number one. Oh man, a lot of good games are there. <v Speaker 3>And this is also kind of revealed my age too. <v Speaker 3>My favorite game of all time New Super Mario Brothers. <v Speaker 2>We wow yo w is in the chat. That's a <v Speaker 2>class that I don't. <v Speaker 1>I don't know how I feel about one that's very random. <v Speaker 1>That was like Super Mario Brothers three. <v Speaker 3>No, well, I like, I liked it, I beat it, <v Speaker 3>But he's young. That was that was I'm twenty three, <v Speaker 3>so I'm all right, so I actually have to shout <v Speaker 3>out my sisters because there's the one. They're the ones <v Speaker 3>who got me into gaming place ever since I was young. <v Speaker 3>So and that was the first game I ever played. <v Speaker 1>Okay, so it was nice. <v Speaker 3>But but it's it's a memorable. <v Speaker 1>It is a very good game. <v Speaker 3>I think. Well, for the most part, we we've probably <v Speaker 3>seen a lot of the the two D platform wo <v Speaker 3>Mario besides Wonder really kind of copied that form, at <v Speaker 3>least the DS formally as well. But I feel like <v Speaker 3>the Wei one is just they threw everything that they <v Speaker 3>could to make it like a return to form, like <v Speaker 3>a home console Mario platformer that like feels new. <v Speaker 1>But I mean it's not really new anymore. <v Speaker 2>That's great. <v Speaker 3>But yeah, so that I had to think about it, <v Speaker 3>there are a lot of great games I've played, but no, <v Speaker 3>I love it. <v Speaker 1>I have to say, yea Mario. We honestly, as I said, <v Speaker 1>perfect because you got a zeld ahead and then to Mariod. <v Speaker 1>So I feel like that's o good. Just the CHA <v Speaker 1>thinks that's a good mix. Any One in the back <v Speaker 1>want to put in their two cents on this, because <v Speaker 1>we got some people back there too that I know <v Speaker 1>we're thinking of the top three. <v Speaker 2>It's Okay, don't be shy. <v Speaker 1>You got it? Hey, all right, so you want to <v Speaker 1>introduce yourself to I don't have a lower thud for <v Speaker 1>you yet. Guys, all right, what's your what's your number three? <v Speaker 2>All right? <v Speaker 4>So for me my top three is Okay, that was <v Speaker 4>the first game home. <v Speaker 1>That's a good one. That's a great one. Now we <v Speaker 1>got and we got some sonic in Hit too com <v Speaker 1>We needed it. <v Speaker 3>So media's on my list. <v Speaker 2>But can. <v Speaker 1>Mh fantastic? How do you feel about Metro Prime Fall? <v Speaker 2>Okay, keep going. <v Speaker 3>I feel like we're gonna hear that a lot tonight. <v Speaker 1>Whoa there you go? Okay, sick, I'm liking I'm liking <v Speaker 1>the variety. Yeah, that's awesome, Thank you so much. Anyone <v Speaker 1>else back then when it may be tricky, I guess <v Speaker 1>to switch out with the hot seat. You don't have <v Speaker 1>to if you don't want to. Its kleab back there <v Speaker 1>he got three. He can yell at us over your shoulder. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I can hear you here kind of well, lean in more. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, hard to hear you gotta Yeah, there you go. <v Speaker 1>Yeah you sound good. Dragon ball Z Legacy of Goku too. <v Speaker 1>There's no repeats. <v Speaker 2>That's good. That one's good. <v Speaker 3>Uh, Pokemon Blue obviously because I'm thirty two. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, no, I feel you. <v Speaker 2>I'm red. <v Speaker 1>I'm red, but I got you. Diamond blew my mind. <v Speaker 1>I feel so old right now. <v Speaker 3>You can you hear me? <v Speaker 1>No, I can hear you. Yeah, feet on the stream. Oh, <v Speaker 1>unless it's not coming through the stream. <v Speaker 3>I think people can hear it. <v Speaker 1>On the stream. Yeah. <v Speaker 2>Are they? <v Speaker 1>Are they saying it's not coming through people? <v Speaker 2>We can barely hear him. <v Speaker 1>Oh oh, I'm just well barely is something that's something? <v Speaker 2>All right? <v Speaker 1>If you get that figured out, give me that last <v Speaker 1>one will be in suspense. I actually didn't think about <v Speaker 1>what my I didn't I'm I'm. I didn't do a <v Speaker 1>top three for me. I was so focused on everything <v Speaker 1>else I would put if I had to do it quickly, <v Speaker 1>I would put all Karina as one. Yes, because of nostalgia, Yeah, <v Speaker 1>like I do. I think Breath of the Wild, Antis <v Speaker 1>of the Kingdom are better games, but a Karina. I <v Speaker 1>went from playing ney s to Jumping to sixty four <v Speaker 1>and the first game I played was Okina a time <v Speaker 1>and I still remember getting to that because like, I <v Speaker 1>went from beating games in an hour to playing Okerina <v Speaker 1>for a week and I was like, this game never ends, <v Speaker 1>and then I thought I hit the ending. I'm like, <v Speaker 1>I finally beat it. And then I put the sword <v Speaker 1>in the stone and I'm like, oh, I'm only halfway <v Speaker 1>through it. I still remember that. That was the moment <v Speaker 1>I became a gamer. Like that's someone I came online. <v Speaker 1>I was like, oh my god, video games are incredible, <v Speaker 1>So that's got to be one. I'll go to three <v Speaker 1>and I'll do Walking Dead tell Tale first one. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>that was the story for me. I was completely absorbed <v Speaker 1>in it. I took every action so seriously. The ending <v Speaker 1>was perfect. It's the first game I cried in, actually <v Speaker 1>like shed a tear. And then I was thinking about <v Speaker 1>like Last of Us, but I think I will sit <v Speaker 1>on Red Dead two, Red Dead two and number two <v Speaker 1>because that was another like kind of similar to Okarina, <v Speaker 1>where it was just a game that kept giving. It <v Speaker 1>was like every time you think you found and explored <v Speaker 1>and you you experienced everything the game could provide, it's like, <v Speaker 1>here's something else. It's just and I finished that game. <v Speaker 1>I did a lot in that game. I still feel <v Speaker 1>like I could go back and do more. And I've <v Speaker 1>been waiting. I've always wanted to do a second play through, <v Speaker 1>and I feel like we're about to get it on <v Speaker 1>switch to and I'm so excited for that because I <v Speaker 1>am going to portably come on very very nice. See, <v Speaker 1>I'm very excited for that. <v Speaker 2>That's a good list. <v Speaker 1>You guys got that, Mike, welcome back there for that <v Speaker 1>number one. If you don't, it's fine, it doesn't look <v Speaker 1>like it doesn't look like it. Okay, Well if could <v Speaker 1>shot hear you at all? Should I repeat what you <v Speaker 1>guys said so they know? I think some people said <v Speaker 1>barely there was a DBC in there, there was a <v Speaker 1>Mega man Well, now you're coming through, right, Mega man <v Speaker 1>X was your number one? Okay? All right? Cool? <v Speaker 2>All right? <v Speaker 1>So now we know everybody have a good like ours. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I think we have a good picks in the room. <v Speaker 1>I feel like we have good sense of what everybody likes, <v Speaker 1>and so now when we start discussing video games, we <v Speaker 1>know where everybody is coming from. You so all right, <v Speaker 1>and in saying that you want to discuss some video <v Speaker 1>games and put. <v Speaker 3>Something that's over here, you go, because. <v Speaker 1>I have I made this to list myself, and I'm <v Speaker 1>I'm very excited to see where these things land, and <v Speaker 1>I feel like I already know where they're all going. <v Speaker 1>So we are going to start with They're a little <v Speaker 1>out of order, but we're going to start with Mario <v Speaker 1>cut World. Okay, all right, now I will allow us <v Speaker 1>and me to move things around here a little bit, <v Speaker 1>all right, because off the rip, I'm feeling like putting <v Speaker 1>this one in an a an a. That's what I'm <v Speaker 1>feeling for Mario cut World, because it's it. It isn't perfect, <v Speaker 1>but it's really good. It offers a lot, but not enough. <v Speaker 2>Okay. <v Speaker 1>The things I like about the game is like the <v Speaker 1>sixty fps, the four K, the animations, the colors, the HDR. <v Speaker 1>It's a beautiful game. It's like a Pixar movie come <v Speaker 1>to life. Like really, every time I start playing it, <v Speaker 1>I start looking at the cart animations and the character <v Speaker 1>animations that I'm blown away by it. I also love <v Speaker 1>the courses. I love the racing. I love the open world. <v Speaker 1>It's just the open world is empty. You can't do <v Speaker 1>the cups online. Everything's an intermission and it's just knockout <v Speaker 1>to It is great, but it does feel like it's <v Speaker 1>more into mission tracks, which you're already burnt out into <v Speaker 1>mission tracks from doing them in the racing and then <v Speaker 1>you're stuck in knockout to it. It just keeps going. <v Speaker 1>So it just feels very repetitive. And I know a <v Speaker 1>lot of people still play it, but I really feel <v Speaker 1>like most people dropped off at that one pretty quickly. <v Speaker 1>What do you guys think? <v Speaker 2>How many hours have you put? Yeah? <v Speaker 3>What's your time? <v Speaker 1>I would actually have no idea. If I had to <v Speaker 1>take a guess, I would say something like thirty thirty <v Speaker 1>thirty dirty most respect. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, so you played Mario Deluxe. I'm assuming as well, Right. <v Speaker 1>I played that, and that's my basis here. I played <v Speaker 1>that game too nauseum like add nauseum like I like <v Speaker 1>right up through. I mean I played it on you <v Speaker 1>when it came out, and then it came out on <v Speaker 1>Switch and I kept playing, and I played it right <v Speaker 1>through the eight years of the console, like right up <v Speaker 1>until the end. I was sticking that back in, especially <v Speaker 1>with all the DC tracks too. Yeah, and it was <v Speaker 1>so competitive online and fun. Yeah, that's really my bar <v Speaker 1>in comparison. And also like I kind of missed it <v Speaker 1>like driving on walls and stuff. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, yeah, the anti gravity. Yeah, so you don't like <v Speaker 3>play it for a while. <v Speaker 1>So yeah, it added so much depth to the course. <v Speaker 1>Like now you can like kind of grind on a wolf, <v Speaker 1>you can kind of like the trick for a bit. <v Speaker 2>Yes, but that's how it is with all Mario Kart games. <v Speaker 2>If you look at like we compared to A it's <v Speaker 2>completely different. Same with seven, like they introduced doom wasts <v Speaker 2>to play the game mechanic wise and whatnot. So with <v Speaker 2>Mario Kart World, like before it came out, I was like, <v Speaker 2>there's it was really hard to imagine how they would <v Speaker 2>have innovated it compared to Mario Kart Deluxe, because eight <v Speaker 2>Deluxe felt like the perfect game. <v Speaker 1>It feels like Smash Ultimate. <v Speaker 2>Break Drifting, you know, it pushed the threshold for competition. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>I personally would rate Mario Kart World an S because <v Speaker 2>I think it has high replay value, at least with me. <v Speaker 2>I play that game so much with my wife, Like <v Speaker 2>watching her is like a not a Nintendo fan coming <v Speaker 2>into the realm of Nintendo with you know, this game, <v Speaker 2>and she's like so infatuated and mesmerized by it and <v Speaker 2>like always has so much fun. It's like watching a <v Speaker 2>little kid discover video games for the first time, you know, <v Speaker 2>And I'm just like, I understand because Nintendo they make <v Speaker 2>they perfect their worlds, you know, their mechanics, just the <v Speaker 2>feel of the game and everything. So's ture, I would <v Speaker 2>say as to, But I can understand if you haven't <v Speaker 2>like put in the hours. <v Speaker 1>Maybe there's one other reason why it's not S. And <v Speaker 1>it's only because I have a game for S, and <v Speaker 1>I feel like. <v Speaker 2>It's like reserved for that one, not that one. <v Speaker 1>But I feel like it it clearly does more. Which <v Speaker 1>is this guy DKB? Yeah, Okay, I mean that's a <v Speaker 1>no brainer. I feel like I feel like, if that's <v Speaker 1>an S, Mario Cott's an A or do you feel <v Speaker 1>like that they're on the same level. <v Speaker 2>Truly, it's gonna be a hot take. I honestly would <v Speaker 2>say if I had to pick one or the other, <v Speaker 2>I would pick Mario coott World, even though I love DKB, <v Speaker 2>probably more. <v Speaker 3>Than because of replayability. <v Speaker 2>It's because of replayability. That's how I. <v Speaker 1>Think that's funny, because like my issue is, like I know, <v Speaker 1>on paper, Mariokott has replayability, but the reason why I'm <v Speaker 1>putting it in A because of its lack of replayability, <v Speaker 1>Because there's just nothing to replay. There's nothing. It feels <v Speaker 1>like there's nothing to do. <v Speaker 2>I can get it. Maybe because it's only thirty tracks too. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it just feels like the content's limited, and the <v Speaker 1>mode types feel limited, and the mode types we have <v Speaker 1>feel the same, and like no one cares about. <v Speaker 2>Battle Yeah nobody. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, it's a one time you're going from the Like <v Speaker 3>you said before, how eight Deluxe like their battle mode <v Speaker 3>was so refined because eight on the WIU didn't really <v Speaker 3>have a proper battle mode anyway. Yeah, whereas yeah, in World, <v Speaker 3>it's just they take a part of the track existing <v Speaker 3>track and just section it off boom you ever battle there. <v Speaker 3>But so I mean for me, I would probably also <v Speaker 3>leave it in a just because there's there. I'd say <v Speaker 3>one the collectibles as well, if you're just getting stickers <v Speaker 3>and I think that's it right, Yeah, But I will say, <v Speaker 3>but I will say, like, as someone who really likes, <v Speaker 3>you know, visual stuff, especially in games, I really like <v Speaker 3>just how the different I don't even call it like <v Speaker 3>the brands within the Mario kar world. I like how <v Speaker 3>it all looks graphically. That's just kind of me though, <v Speaker 3>I feel you, So I would even in a for that. <v Speaker 1>Okay, I'm I'm honestly not against moving its s. <v Speaker 2>I agree with you. I feel like A is the <v Speaker 2>safe spot. Is I think the spot. <v Speaker 1>I think let's plug along and maybe some other things <v Speaker 1>will happen that will reveal that it needs to go. <v Speaker 2>Okay, yeah, let's see. <v Speaker 1>Because like if we do something like I don't know <v Speaker 1>the tast of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild <v Speaker 1>like I didn't really know what to do with these, <v Speaker 1>to be honest, the switch because it's like I put <v Speaker 1>all the switch to editions in here because like I <v Speaker 1>felt like I got it. <v Speaker 2>M hm. <v Speaker 1>But are we ranking them on the games that they <v Speaker 1>are or what they added on switch to? <v Speaker 2>I always say both is with the switch. <v Speaker 1>To out in that case, I mean like they're both <v Speaker 1>star but it true true. It kind of feels like, yeah, <v Speaker 1>so let's just like what did switch to? <v Speaker 2>Dude? <v Speaker 3>Yeah, let's do that just to switch to switch to <v Speaker 3>make just because like some switch to editions have more <v Speaker 3>than because like for at least R I know for <v Speaker 3>Breath Wilders the Kingdom, it's really just graphical and. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's honestly like purely graphical because the only things <v Speaker 1>they added were through the mobile app, and I just <v Speaker 1>I don't know if I consider it. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, for vis Yeah, like Kirby like has a whole <v Speaker 3>separate mode. <v Speaker 1>And then it also kind of I gotta be also <v Speaker 1>kind of pisses me off that those calend switch to <v Speaker 1>that no, that they did everything through the mobile app, <v Speaker 1>because it's like you do the you do the voice <v Speaker 1>memos or whatever when you're walking around. Why is that <v Speaker 1>not just in the game. Why is it looks behind <v Speaker 1>the app? And so now unless I have the app <v Speaker 1>open and I have it like lugged in or whatever <v Speaker 1>next to me, I don't get that. Ye, So like <v Speaker 1>ten years from now if I want to replay, it's <v Speaker 1>like does that still work? <v Speaker 2>Reminds me of like remember because if the app doesn't <v Speaker 2>get you know, updated and whatnot. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, but also like who wants. <v Speaker 3>To Yeah, it reminds me like when like when the <v Speaker 3>Switch one was out, when they had Hospital tuone two <v Speaker 3>come out and they'd have to use the mobile app <v Speaker 3>to voice chat and you had to plug in like <v Speaker 3>the the headset into the phone into the switch have <v Speaker 3>it all connected by kind. <v Speaker 2>Of like discord. Like that reminds me of like the. <v Speaker 3>Like yeah, yeah, like a lesser scale, So I kind <v Speaker 3>of understand that too. I think it really just depends <v Speaker 3>on like what you really want to have a switch <v Speaker 3>to edition. <v Speaker 2>Anyway, Yeah, I would say definitely. The switch to editions <v Speaker 2>for both Broth of the Wild and Twos of the <v Speaker 2>Kingdom are literally just visual enhancements. I personally haven't bottom yet, <v Speaker 2>even though. <v Speaker 3>I think if you have NSL online, I think it's free. <v Speaker 1>Oh it is, I'm pretty sure. <v Speaker 2>Are you sure? I'm pretty sure. Call me on that. <v Speaker 2>I think that's what the Animal Crossing DLC. I don't know. <v Speaker 3>I think is the Family Pass or whatever it is. <v Speaker 1>I think you're right. I think there's the Zelda stuffs <v Speaker 1>on the subscription. I think that's how they market it, <v Speaker 1>so you could like download right now. <v Speaker 2>So you're telling me I get the new Martive Boroughs <v Speaker 2>Wonder DLC as well. <v Speaker 1>And I think, right, I hope. So, I don't know, <v Speaker 1>they're not like they are four K sixty Yes, and <v Speaker 1>that's great. <v Speaker 2>They look that's gorgeous, But there is literally no incentive <v Speaker 2>to upgrade to If you're a little kid, I feel <v Speaker 2>are not going to know the difference. <v Speaker 1>I feel like, yeah, it's ten dollars more of full <v Speaker 1>K sixty. I don't know. I have a hard time <v Speaker 1>putting those games him be, and. <v Speaker 3>They are selling them as like the I switched to. <v Speaker 1>Right, I'm going to be purely not based on the games, <v Speaker 1>but based on what they offer on switcheditions. It's like <v Speaker 1>a bee. It's fine. <v Speaker 2>You know, I wouldn't be surprised if you put it <v Speaker 2>in a c low key. Honestly, it's just a visual <v Speaker 2>enhancement done about too low. <v Speaker 1>Let's make it okay from here, let's go to uh, <v Speaker 1>let's go to where should we go to? Let's dour <v Speaker 1>stearomy right, welcome to it? Okay, let's do welcome to it. <v Speaker 1>I mean that I feel like there's not much conversation. <v Speaker 2>To be Have you guys played it? I played it? <v Speaker 1>I played it played I like how you said that, <v Speaker 1>like you doubt that we that we did? Have you <v Speaker 1>actually played it? <v Speaker 3>No, I haven't bought it because I don't want to <v Speaker 3>buy it, but I have played it because a. <v Speaker 2>Lot of people were upset about why wasn't it a <v Speaker 2>free demo pay? But I just bought it for the memes, <v Speaker 2>like we were originally gonna upload a video on it, <v Speaker 2>but we never did. But it's horrible. It's horrible, It's awful. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, the little mini games are boring also, Like there's <v Speaker 1>like maybe a couple of fun ones, but you need <v Speaker 1>to do everything, Like so you start on like the <v Speaker 1>left joy Con or whatever, and you have to look <v Speaker 1>at every single thing. Yeah, and then like play every <v Speaker 1>mini game a couple of times and then you're allowed <v Speaker 1>on the screen. So if you want to go to <v Speaker 1>like the right joy Con, you got to actually play that. <v Speaker 1>All you do need certain other And I was about <v Speaker 1>to say this, like pay d OC for it as well, <v Speaker 1>because if you want to go to the controller or <v Speaker 1>the camera, you need to have a TV. So want <v Speaker 1>a full access to welcome to it, You're in like <v Speaker 1>one hundred and fifty bus. Isn't that Like we didn't <v Speaker 1>talk about that enough. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, by the cameras and the Yeah I. <v Speaker 1>Did, I mean I did accessory a radio whatevers. <v Speaker 2>I did not. <v Speaker 1>I did not, No, I did so I did switch <v Speaker 1>to six months later as a video and I talked <v Speaker 1>about how didn't I haven't touched the camera in months, <v Speaker 1>like like already has just on it. I literally I <v Speaker 1>played Animal Crossing with my friend Lista Lass and Eona <v Speaker 1>on stream the other day. <v Speaker 2>Because I was watching. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it was actually we had a lot of fun <v Speaker 1>with it. But they wanted to use the cameras because <v Speaker 1>did they do the bubbles above the head? Because like also, <v Speaker 1>by the way, the camera is so dumb that the <v Speaker 1>only thing it ever offers you could see your friends <v Speaker 1>a book. That's the only thing that you get out <v Speaker 1>of the camera, and they wanted to do it, and <v Speaker 1>I'd like find the camera, Like where did I put <v Speaker 1>that thing? And like it's only been six months and <v Speaker 1>I'm already like we're in the echoes of my house <v Speaker 1>that I hide that thing. So yeah, that sucks. Welcome <v Speaker 1>to it. Yeah, that sucks. Okay, I'm curious on your <v Speaker 1>your thoughts on Pokemon Za. <v Speaker 2>Honestly, I didn't play the original one for switch. What <v Speaker 2>was this like a graphical Well. <v Speaker 1>They came out that came out same day and it's Legends. <v Speaker 1>It's a Legends games. You play Legends Archias. <v Speaker 2>Yeah I put that a little bit. But also what <v Speaker 2>teered me from like becoming like super invested in it <v Speaker 2>was honestly the graphics. <v Speaker 1>I just yeah, no, I know, yeah, the windows. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, like I just couldn't Yeah, yeah, I just couldn't <v Speaker 2>get myself immersed into it. So with ze, I just <v Speaker 2>like whatever. Let the Pokemon fan z. <v Speaker 1>Well what about you? <v Speaker 2>Did you? <v Speaker 1>Did you play it? As I say so, Yeah, as <v Speaker 1>a resident diamond Head. <v Speaker 3>As a that's to call me that I love it? <v Speaker 2>Uh? <v Speaker 3>Okay, Well I'll tell you what I really like, Legends Archists. <v Speaker 3>I did beat the game. I'd beat it both love. <v Speaker 3>I did just get the Legends of the a DLC. <v Speaker 3>I'm actually doing a little series on my stream for it. <v Speaker 1>But the DLC aside, well, the DC I've heard, I <v Speaker 1>haven't even played it. <v Speaker 3>You'll see it is definitely a bit interesting, but I <v Speaker 3>think from what I was expecting. <v Speaker 1>Because of the way they revealed it. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, as a Legends game, I do like the concept <v Speaker 3>of it, like going back to another generation that you <v Speaker 3>already played before. It was just kind of in a <v Speaker 3>new way. This case literally just in Lumeo City and <v Speaker 3>just one central spot, which I get people didn't like. <v Speaker 3>I understand the want to splore more, and there's definitely <v Speaker 3>like parts of the game where you feel like, oh, <v Speaker 3>if you could just go there, that would make a <v Speaker 3>lot more sense. But I did enjoy it. I love <v Speaker 3>the new Mega evolutions. I will say the DLC has <v Speaker 3>some cool new ones too, But as the game itself, <v Speaker 3>I enjoyed it. There are some things I would change <v Speaker 3>about it, especially voice acting. I think that's a big thing. <v Speaker 1>I know, I know that's that's the number one quality <v Speaker 1>of production on that game feels extremely lacking because of <v Speaker 1>things like that. <v Speaker 3>It's the potential, even going back to Sword and Shield too. <v Speaker 3>I think that's when you realize, like, this could benefit <v Speaker 3>so much more if there was. <v Speaker 1>It makes it feel like an like an indie game. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>and even because even indie games have voice acting. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, because you know how tiring it is to read <v Speaker 3>every single line by yourself and every boy. <v Speaker 1>For free to be in a Pokemon. Yeah, Like, I <v Speaker 1>don't know what that problem is with voice acting. I <v Speaker 1>would do it for free Pokemon. That's true, you can <v Speaker 1>be a couple of characters. <v Speaker 2>Found like voice acting in English, like American English is <v Speaker 2>just so cringey. I don't know, it's just the. <v Speaker 3>Way the emphasis and syllables. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, did you give a final opinion? <v Speaker 2>I did not. <v Speaker 1>I shouted yelling about that's that's fair, carried away final opinion. <v Speaker 3>I really liked it. I think it could have benefited <v Speaker 3>from some things more, but I would put it. <v Speaker 1>If we could, hib hib. <v Speaker 3>Hib that's generous, low a hibie. <v Speaker 1>I so if okay, what you you didn't even play it. <v Speaker 2>I didn't say it, but I do remember watching snippets <v Speaker 2>of your video. You reviewed it, right. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I did a first impression. I've been wanting to <v Speaker 1>do a full review, but I don't. <v Speaker 2>You're kind of like taking us through what is it, <v Speaker 2>Lumo station. <v Speaker 1>And I'm at, like I'm at d D. <v Speaker 3>Saying this too. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I'm at. <v Speaker 1>I mean visually it's a mess. As you said, there's <v Speaker 1>no voice acting. I would have liked. I liked the <v Speaker 1>one thing I liked. The one concept I liked was <v Speaker 1>it's Pokemon z A. It's in the name. So you <v Speaker 1>go from Z rank to A rank. Right, so at <v Speaker 1>the night time. I don't know if you remember, you <v Speaker 1>did it at the night You battle through and you <v Speaker 1>earn points, and then you have this like rank up <v Speaker 1>battle and you get to the next rank. Well, they <v Speaker 1>commit to it for about five times and then you <v Speaker 1>do one battle and it just goes alphabet to like D, <v Speaker 1>so you skip up like you skip like the whole alphabet. <v Speaker 1>It's the only time it does it and then you <v Speaker 1>just do the rest from there. So it's very clearly <v Speaker 1>is just well, we're not actually going to make you <v Speaker 1>do every single one. But that's like the only thing <v Speaker 1>I was liking about it. So I kind of would <v Speaker 1>have preferred more if it was like, hey, do you <v Speaker 1>want to skip and all of this or do you <v Speaker 1>actually want to, like, you know, play it, because again, <v Speaker 1>it was the one thing, and then it just kind <v Speaker 1>of felt cheap, and it was like, well, why am I, <v Speaker 1>Why am I doing this? Because all I'm really doing <v Speaker 1>here is I'm spamming through all the dialogue with a <v Speaker 1>quickly because no one's reading all of this. It's and <v Speaker 1>it's not even like, oh you don't like the story <v Speaker 1>of Pokemon, it's I'm already yelling I've been, I've been, <v Speaker 1>I've taken break for like four months, and I'm already <v Speaker 1>going in on It's the same like like expository expositories <v Speaker 1>at the word I'm looking at yeah dialogue again and <v Speaker 1>again and again and again, like we got do this, <v Speaker 1>we got to do this, we gotta do I know, <v Speaker 1>we gotta do this, so like there's no reason to <v Speaker 1>read it. And then the gameplay loop is fine. The <v Speaker 1>battling's fine. I have like I liked the concept of <v Speaker 1>the battling in the real time, but I have a <v Speaker 1>huge gripe with it, and that's that every time it attacks, probably, <v Speaker 1>but every time you pull out a new Pokemon, it cries. <v Speaker 1>And that because my head in Because here's the thing. <v Speaker 1>If you're in a battle, right, so I have like <v Speaker 1>a squaddle whatever you have like a like a Pikachu, right, <v Speaker 1>and I'm like, oh, I should switch, and I switch <v Speaker 1>into like a bulbo saw, then it should cry because <v Speaker 1>it's a punishment. It's like you switched, So you need <v Speaker 1>to wait a second before you can attack. <v Speaker 2>Okay. <v Speaker 1>If I if I have the Pikachu and you have <v Speaker 1>the squaddle, right, and I kill you, and then you <v Speaker 1>bring out your next one, it has to cry first, wow, <v Speaker 1>And I can keep attacking you so I get rewarded <v Speaker 1>for knocking you out and I can keep going. I <v Speaker 1>would prefer if when you get knocked you could bring <v Speaker 1>one out and instantly it's going. So I always the <v Speaker 1>same way too, was turn based. It was like it <v Speaker 1>would trigger in the real world, but then it would <v Speaker 1>become turn based. And honestly, I loved the idea of <v Speaker 1>free flowing because I was like, this will make it <v Speaker 1>like like the anime battles, and then I instantly after <v Speaker 1>that I got frustrated with that. I was like, give <v Speaker 1>me turn based. It just felt it felt unfair. I <v Speaker 1>just felt like I kept getting knocked before I had <v Speaker 1>a change to doing it. You don't think they should <v Speaker 1>stick with that moving forward either way? I think they <v Speaker 1>should fix that one thing for me. Yeah, I fixed <v Speaker 1>that one thing because why because it is quite literally <v Speaker 1>a punishment and why am I being punished for doing bad? Right? That? <v Speaker 2>Would you say you prefer the turn based Pokemon battling <v Speaker 2>style more or this freestyle battle? <v Speaker 1>I like the concept of the freestyle changed that like <v Speaker 1>how it was executed. <v Speaker 2>Yeah okay. <v Speaker 1>It also like it's kind of even like at its <v Speaker 1>core with what they tried to do with it, where <v Speaker 1>it's like you can run around and no one really does. <v Speaker 1>How often do you really like feel like you had <v Speaker 1>an anime moment where you intentionally dodged an attack and <v Speaker 1>then landed a good one by running around? Like often <v Speaker 1>did that really happen? <v Speaker 3>I would dodge? But there was definitely moments where like <v Speaker 3>you can actually kind of I wish like in the game, <v Speaker 3>like there's a way like if let's say, you know, <v Speaker 3>Squirrel for whatever reason, those hyper beam right and it <v Speaker 3>would use it. But then Pikachius Thunderball. I wish they <v Speaker 3>could like clash like. <v Speaker 1>I wish there was more stuff like that, there was <v Speaker 1>more stuff where it was actually like Pikachu dodge and <v Speaker 1>then quickly like quickly it gets away. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>It just kind of feels like it's. <v Speaker 3>The makings of a good it's a making. <v Speaker 1>It's a good idea, good concept. <v Speaker 3>I didn't quite hit And going back to two, I <v Speaker 3>think it's also good that it's technically spin off territory <v Speaker 3>as well, because if it's main game and you're going <v Speaker 3>for that the entire way, then yeah. <v Speaker 1>That's why I like that doing these legends games, because <v Speaker 1>it gives them a chance to play around. So I <v Speaker 1>was that D. I I don't I don't want to <v Speaker 1>put it D because you really like it. Do you <v Speaker 1>want to meet in the middle of c we could <v Speaker 1>we could run that. Does it feel weird next to the <v Speaker 1>Breath of the Wild and Taste of the Kingdom? <v Speaker 2>It's open world Pokemon game, that is. <v Speaker 1>It is true kind of kind of you you're in <v Speaker 1>the city and you can't go. <v Speaker 2>In smaller than the legend of yesh. <v Speaker 1>Like more so ill yes areas like home bases the <v Speaker 1>size of the base, and then you have all the <v Speaker 1>other you have like eight giant maps. <v Speaker 3>Right something of like the mountain, like that entire section. <v Speaker 1>You know, I've been playing. This is so random, but <v Speaker 1>I've been playing Yakuza Kawami one and two because like <v Speaker 1>I did a sponsor for one and I fell in <v Speaker 1>love with it, so I finished the whole game and <v Speaker 1>now I started too. Now I'm playing like the remakes <v Speaker 1>from like PlayStation four or whatever, but they're based on <v Speaker 1>the older games. I need to go back and actually <v Speaker 1>play the older games, but I'm pretty sure they're like <v Speaker 1>one for one and they just look better. So you're <v Speaker 1>in like Tokyo, right, and you have a city like <v Speaker 1>the size of Lumo City, Like it's not that different, <v Speaker 1>and you can go into like almost every building and <v Speaker 1>you can like walk in and look around like the <v Speaker 1>Seven eleven, Like the buildings are just there, just and <v Speaker 1>you can go up to the store clerk and you <v Speaker 1>can talk to them and the whole Every time I'm <v Speaker 1>doing this, I'm like walking in the nightclubs, and I'm <v Speaker 1>walking into X y Z and I'm just thinking to myself, <v Speaker 1>this game is like two thousand and six, wow right, <v Speaker 1>and it's just it's sound forgivable. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I can understand that. <v Speaker 1>I get it. What game do you like? Do you <v Speaker 1>want to do one that you like? <v Speaker 2>Like? <v Speaker 1>Another one? <v Speaker 2>All right? <v Speaker 3>What have we got up there? <v Speaker 2>We got? <v Speaker 1>We got Metroid Berkeley Default, Hyro Warriors, Kirby Both, Kirby's <v Speaker 1>Kirby Air Riders, Jamboree. Where do you want to go next? <v Speaker 3>I'm looking, Uh, I'll be honest, some of these I <v Speaker 3>haven't played. <v Speaker 1>But oh, okay, I'm gonna yeah, you take it. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I'm taking too long. Go ahead, all right? How about <v Speaker 1>we do Hiro Warriors Age of Calamity. You're a big <v Speaker 1>zeled fan to play it? <v Speaker 2>I played a little bit of it. <v Speaker 1>What did you think? <v Speaker 2>So? I was honestly very I didn't, okay, so I <v Speaker 2>only played like a couple hours of it. Okay, But <v Speaker 2>I was very excited to play this game because of <v Speaker 2>how I thought this was going to be like a <v Speaker 2>like a prologue to the events that take place in <v Speaker 2>tot K. And then I find out that apparently it's <v Speaker 2>not even a cannon event. And this is just like, no. <v Speaker 1>Well, imprisonment is canon. You're thinking Calamity, okay, true, true, <v Speaker 1>which is actually like, bizarrely my issue. <v Speaker 2>With it with aga Calamity, Right, yeah, no imprisonment because <v Speaker 2>it's cannon. You don't like the story of it. <v Speaker 1>I so I'm I'm apparently I'm weird because when I <v Speaker 1>made my review people said that other people felt another way. <v Speaker 1>I liked that Calamity wasn't canon and that it did <v Speaker 1>a wacky like time travel thing, and it introduced new characters, <v Speaker 1>and it like did like a what if scenario because <v Speaker 1>it was like it all happened in a way where <v Speaker 1>that could have been the thing that happened. Yes, but <v Speaker 1>they just said it's actually not canon, which I actually <v Speaker 1>kind of hated. I was like, just make it canon. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>But I liked it because they could play around with <v Speaker 1>the story more because we kind of already knew what happened, <v Speaker 1>like we saw the flashbacks in Breath of the Wild. <v Speaker 1>We know the characters. So by doing it non canon, <v Speaker 1>they were able to introduce new characters like a weird, <v Speaker 1>wacky egg, and they were able to bring characters in <v Speaker 1>from the future into the past. Yeah, and just fill <v Speaker 1>out that roster with like characters that we like, and <v Speaker 1>then some new like cool ones Imprisonment. They went like <v Speaker 1>one for one, so everything you heard and everything you <v Speaker 1>saw play out, you get to just do all of <v Speaker 1>that again. So it's a lot of like reused cut scenes. <v Speaker 1>It's a lot of like expanding on it. But it <v Speaker 1>also meant they couldn't really introduce too many. <v Speaker 4>New characters because it has to make sense, it has <v Speaker 4>to be So what they did instead in this game, <v Speaker 4>where you have like, you know, fifty characters, they added <v Speaker 4>like NPCs, like like. <v Speaker 1>Random, Yeah, I saw like random like Rock literally literally <v Speaker 1>an NPC, you know, and like Zelda where you like <v Speaker 1>walk up to someone in a town and they're like <v Speaker 1>holding a sword and they're like, yeah, good day, link <v Speaker 1>that guy's in the game. There's like a few of <v Speaker 1>those interested and then like a few random Zoras and <v Speaker 1>a few random Glarins, and it's just like I don't <v Speaker 1>really know these people. And it was cool like seeing <v Speaker 1>the champions or whatever their names were in this one, <v Speaker 1>getting like the masks removing the stages their faces for <v Speaker 1>the first time. I mean that's cool. But other than <v Speaker 1>them and Mineru and Zelda and Rahu. It's like you <v Speaker 1>don't know anybody, and it's like why do I want <v Speaker 1>to play? Is like some weirds are on with a <v Speaker 1>big floppy nose. <v Speaker 2>Like I don't know, Like it's just yeah, see I <v Speaker 2>haven't gotten that far into it. But I mean it's <v Speaker 2>your typical hacking slash Zelda S game. You know, twenty <v Speaker 2>hours some of content I heard. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's about that. <v Speaker 2>I think it decently long, takes you through like the <v Speaker 2>different events with the Zone I and from the Kingdom. <v Speaker 2>So I mean, I. <v Speaker 1>Mean it's I'll say this, I'll say something nice. I know, <v Speaker 1>I mean very negative. I'm sorry. It runs really well. <v Speaker 1>It does as well, and it's a higher Warriors that <v Speaker 1>finally plays good on Switch. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>And if you are looking, and a lot of people are, <v Speaker 1>if you are looking to just play through the story <v Speaker 1>in a hacking slash, right there, it gives that. It <v Speaker 1>gives that to you exactly the way that And there <v Speaker 1>is a really cool like construct link yeah with a <v Speaker 1>smooth talking carrock western Korok guy who's played by a <v Speaker 1>pro z d on YouTube if you guys know who. <v Speaker 1>Oh really, I'm leaning towards it, Yeah, leaning towards me? <v Speaker 2>Is that? Are you for real? <v Speaker 1>What? <v Speaker 3>Yeah? <v Speaker 2>He actually played the court. <v Speaker 1>Wow, they pitched his voice down a bit because a <v Speaker 1>bit squeaky. But yeah, it's that's that's he's got. He's <v Speaker 1>getting all kinds of one. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's actually really quick all over the place. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>I think that's fair ranking b Yeah yeah yeah, I <v Speaker 2>mean it's a brand new game. No, and they delivered, <v Speaker 2>you know, great graphics like. <v Speaker 1>It is what it said it was. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, No, I would say it's fair. <v Speaker 1>Okay, Brakeley default adnyone played that. I actually didn't. I <v Speaker 1>was hoping one of you guys did. If no one <v Speaker 1>in the back has played that and we have no opinions, <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna I'm gonna it is apparently a really good game, <v Speaker 1>so I'm gonna put it in. I'm gonna put it on. <v Speaker 1>Yeah it's the first so it's just a remake. Just <v Speaker 1>so like just so when people see the list that <v Speaker 1>don't get it, like why did you put it there? Yeah, okay, <v Speaker 1>I'm leading. I'm intentionally breezing past Metroid. What about the <v Speaker 1>Kirby Star DC anyonet play that? <v Speaker 3>No, I played the main game. I didn't play the DLC. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I played just the main game. <v Speaker 1>Okay, so I did play the DLC for like an hour, <v Speaker 1>and it's more of the same. Yeah, it's absolutely just <v Speaker 1>more like, yeah, it's like you get four K sixty. <v Speaker 1>I mean you're seeing like the we talked early about <v Speaker 1>a pattern of these games. You're seeing the pattern. You're <v Speaker 1>getting the four K sixty for ten dollars and then <v Speaker 1>for another ten dollars you're getting some of this cctually <v Speaker 1>and it is just it's you know, it's it's everything's <v Speaker 1>blue and there's stars. But it does feel more like <v Speaker 1>for me, it was really like beyond even it feels <v Speaker 1>like more of the same. It's more like I played <v Speaker 1>this game like three years ago. Yeah, and now I'm <v Speaker 1>like I'm randomly picking it back up again. And I <v Speaker 1>would never have done that unless you do something like this, <v Speaker 1>and it's like it's just if it was there when <v Speaker 1>I played the game, I probably would have been like, <v Speaker 1>oh cool, we're still going and it's new. But going <v Speaker 1>back into something like that, it's like adding a few <v Speaker 1>extra levels into like Mario Yes, like for sure, which <v Speaker 1>they probably have just done. I haven't. <v Speaker 3>Actually there's a lot of. <v Speaker 1>So we're ranking again, we're ranking the switch to edition <v Speaker 1>of it all, and I'm still on seat. And then Jamboree. <v Speaker 1>This is now, this is the switch to content for Jamboree. Yes, <v Speaker 1>So weirdly I'm a little bit more favorable here because <v Speaker 1>it does add in like mouse mode minigames and camera minigames. <v Speaker 2>And uh, Jamboree Buddies. <v Speaker 1>Jamboree Buddies. And there's another there's another mini game. There's <v Speaker 1>another feature it uses camera mouse. What's the third one? <v Speaker 1>Microphone microphone mini games, And it kind of just does <v Speaker 1>it makes sense for Mario Party to add in like <v Speaker 1>mini games using the new features. Where I fall out <v Speaker 1>on it and I made a video about this is <v Speaker 1>you can't do any of the things I just said online, <v Speaker 1>so it all has to be couch co which is frustrating. <v Speaker 1>And then the micro phone mini games I think is <v Speaker 1>only two people? No, I think you can do four <v Speaker 1>people on that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>No, it's just it's all online. Oh that was it. <v Speaker 1>The camera minigames there's only three, yeah, and they're very <v Speaker 1>much like ones like Punch this Block. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. Yeah. See I didn't get to play those because <v Speaker 2>I don't have the camera, but I did do the <v Speaker 2>mouse and the mic mini games. I thought the mouse <v Speaker 2>control ones. <v Speaker 1>The mouse ones are the best ones, Yes, the best ones, <v Speaker 1>but also for most of them it did feel like <v Speaker 1>we could have just used a controller for this. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, but they are the best ones. Yeah, they are <v Speaker 2>fun fluid. It runs smooth too. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it does flu And then so there was a <v Speaker 1>weird drama with this one where when it came out <v Speaker 1>I think it wasn't four K sixty or something to <v Speaker 1>begin with or interesting. There was some, there was some <v Speaker 1>they had to update it later, it wasn't full resolution <v Speaker 1>really well yeah, I don't remember what to deal with <v Speaker 1>that was. But anyway, I so I might put this <v Speaker 1>slightly above the other ones, just because it does feel <v Speaker 1>like they actually added content, not like more of the <v Speaker 1>same and not like on a phone. I might unique <v Speaker 1>to the switch To. It's unique to the switch To. <v Speaker 1>I might be that one. Even though I was annoyed <v Speaker 1>that I couldn't do any of it online and that <v Speaker 1>there was only three camera mini games, and I probably <v Speaker 1>had other things that I hated, but I feel like <v Speaker 1>it's better than Yeah. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, and I agree, it's definitely more than the three <v Speaker 2>below it. <v Speaker 1>For the four below it, anyone played chilling by the fire. <v Speaker 3>That was put that in f then like sounds like <v Speaker 3>a Netflix game Netflix show it does. <v Speaker 1>So that is a switch to exclusive game that can <v Speaker 1>you cut away from my laptop for a second. Actually, <v Speaker 1>because I'm gonna pull up I'm going to YouTube the <v Speaker 1>the gameplay of it. Thank you. <v Speaker 2>So it's it's an actual game. <v Speaker 1>It's a yeah, it's crazy, huh, chilling, chilling. That's what <v Speaker 1>I did last night. I'll tell you when I've got <v Speaker 1>it pulled out, so I probably have to sit through <v Speaker 1>an ad you can show. So this is a switch <v Speaker 1>to game. You'lling the graphics and the new the latest hardware. <v Speaker 2>Of the switch to. <v Speaker 3>This is in the director I think, right, yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 3>so you're just making a fire fifteen dollars, Like if <v Speaker 3>this was five dollars and this was two dollars, fine, So. <v Speaker 1>Literally all it is is you use tongs and you <v Speaker 1>pick up little sticks and you put them in the <v Speaker 1>middle of the fire and you. <v Speaker 2>Try The does were definitely trolling when they made this. <v Speaker 1>The wild thing is too is like this was like <v Speaker 1>a really early announced and published game, which meant like this, <v Speaker 1>this dev team, which like hadn't really done much before, <v Speaker 1>got a switch to dev kit to do this, do this, <v Speaker 1>and Nintendo notoriously were very stingy with those those switched <v Speaker 1>to deav kits. They didn't give one to Like even <v Speaker 1>the Cross World racing developers didn't get one. I did <v Speaker 1>hear about that, so like why them? And also like <v Speaker 1>why this? And why is it fifteen dollars? All you <v Speaker 1>do guys build a fire? <v Speaker 3>If it's like the Nintendo gimmicky type of thing, I <v Speaker 3>feel like where it's just let's just show off the <v Speaker 3>the hardware and maybe kind of incorporate. But you're if <v Speaker 3>it's just want to fire? <v Speaker 1>Do you want to guess how it uses the camera? <v Speaker 2>The camera? Like this, there's a camera mode. <v Speaker 1>This, there's a camera mode. You want to guess how <v Speaker 1>it uses it? It's really easy, trust me, I've already <v Speaker 1>given it away today. Is it like putting out the fire? <v Speaker 2>No? <v Speaker 1>The camera, I don't know. Oh it's just the Yeah <v Speaker 1>you got it. It's just bubbles above the head. Yeah, oh. <v Speaker 2>There you go. <v Speaker 1>Okay, a little bubbles above the head. <v Speaker 2>What's like, oh, go on a camp fire with your friends. <v Speaker 2>They really banked on people buying the camera. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean true too, Like fifteen dollars, but if <v Speaker 1>you want to play with the camera, you're in another fifties. <v Speaker 1>So now you're at seventy five dollars. It's not I <v Speaker 1>like to think there's a guy out there that bought <v Speaker 1>the switch to just for this. <v Speaker 2>There's definitely something. <v Speaker 3>Out of the game or someone out there. There's one <v Speaker 3>game out there for everyone. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I guess sorry if you like it, but this <v Speaker 1>was definitely a one and done for me. I played <v Speaker 1>it on stream with my friend Fried Biscuits, and yeah, <v Speaker 1>we had cameras and all, and it was literally like <v Speaker 1>ten minutes in. We were like, okay, what do we <v Speaker 1>do now? And chat was like, just keep building that <v Speaker 1>far the fire, and that's higher. You build it the better, <v Speaker 1>and then you get points and you use those points <v Speaker 1>on cosmetics for your for your tongues and your axes. <v Speaker 1>That's the game. <v Speaker 3>So could you like and evily like maybe like a <v Speaker 3>giant like Pillar of Fire. <v Speaker 1>I don't know how big it gets. We got it <v Speaker 1>pretty big. We got it so big that we were like, <v Speaker 1>we did it. We got it so big we could <v Speaker 1>have got end credits, you know, So all right, chilling, <v Speaker 1>but that's just an f mostly for the price, like <v Speaker 1>if it was cheap, then maybe somewhere else, but no, <v Speaker 1>it's a waste of time. Do you guys have strong <v Speaker 1>thoughts on tetras too? Otherwise I'm just going to be it. <v Speaker 1>I played the first one. It's it's a puzzle game. <v Speaker 1>It's also Survival Kids. I'm going to go ahead and <v Speaker 1>throw that in, like d I'm assuming you guys haven't <v Speaker 1>played it. It is a switch to exclusive game, another exclusive. <v Speaker 1>It's actually a sequel to a we or there's another <v Speaker 1>there's another Survival Kids game. It was also exclusive to <v Speaker 1>Nintendo and and it's kind of like Overcooked, but on <v Speaker 1>an island. So intend loves the islands. Yeah, yeah, So <v Speaker 1>it's like four player co op and I kind of <v Speaker 1>liked the concept of it before I realized it was <v Speaker 1>like you load into a level and it's literally like <v Speaker 1>a ten minute you like Overcooked, like you try and <v Speaker 1>get three stars. You try and get off the island <v Speaker 1>as quick as you can, and then you get ranked <v Speaker 1>on it, and then you go back in and try <v Speaker 1>a harder island. I liked it more when I thought <v Speaker 1>it was like Survival. I liked it. That's the premise. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>like four like okay, a Nintendo game where four friends <v Speaker 1>have to survive on an island. <v Speaker 2>That sounds kind of it sounds like a peak a <v Speaker 2>little bit. <v Speaker 1>The peak is also I kind of wish it was <v Speaker 1>more like Peak because this is just a little bit <v Speaker 1>too like rigid and yeah, it's. <v Speaker 2>How much was it? Fifteen bucks too? Oh? <v Speaker 1>Forty? <v Speaker 2>What? Yeah? <v Speaker 1>Actually, let me pull it out. I already had my <v Speaker 1>YouTube up. It's fine, I'll do a Survival Kids. I'm <v Speaker 1>right about that, right, Chat let me know if I'm wrong, <v Speaker 1>because Chat will tell you. But uh, yeah, I'm pretty <v Speaker 1>sure this was a forty dollars banger. You're kidding? And <v Speaker 1>I may two other people buy it to play it <v Speaker 1>with me. So like, animation wise and graphics wise, it's <v Speaker 1>not too. <v Speaker 2>It looks it looks good. You know. <v Speaker 3>What I remember from this was like during the actual <v Speaker 3>yeah switch two direction where the stream froze and then <v Speaker 3>the audio kept going. <v Speaker 1>What happened? Actually, that's funny. It froze on Survival Kids, <v Speaker 1>but the audio kept going and not This is this <v Speaker 1>was the first reveal of Final Fantasy seven coming to <v Speaker 1>the Switch, and it happened on audio while Survival Kids <v Speaker 1>frozen on screen. So that's another reason I hate this <v Speaker 1>game and put it in f because it ruined the <v Speaker 1>final Fantasy Official reveal. That's actually the only thing I remember. <v Speaker 1>That's a great grab too. That's hilarious. I forgot about that. <v Speaker 2>Wow. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, anyway, that's that man forty bangs forty bones right <v Speaker 1>game back in the day three DS. <v Speaker 3>That's how much the games were. <v Speaker 1>Oh okay, all right, let's do let's knock out fast <v Speaker 1>Fusion because then we have a few bangers here. Do <v Speaker 1>you have thoughts on Fast Fusion? I played RMX when <v Speaker 1>the Switch ones, I'm gonna throw it in be it's <v Speaker 1>up for a lot of people. It might even be <v Speaker 1>a I mean, these games are cool for showing off <v Speaker 1>the switches like technical powers, like. <v Speaker 2>Oh, this is the one where they're hitting the ball. <v Speaker 1>No, no, it's it's like F zero kind of but <v Speaker 1>like a no generation of it. So Fast RMX was <v Speaker 1>a was a weirdly fast. These fast games are a <v Speaker 1>launch title all the way back to like PlayStation one <v Speaker 1>or something. They always launched on a console. That's really weird. <v Speaker 1>So Fast ARAMX launched on Switch one and it was <v Speaker 1>like the first game to do like ten EDP sixty. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>and then this game was I did four K sixty <v Speaker 1>and then I think it also had like a one <v Speaker 1>to twenty option. I was kind of hoping it would <v Speaker 1>be the first game to do four K one twenty, <v Speaker 1>but I guess they just couldn't. Visually it is kind <v Speaker 1>of impressive, so like, I know, it can't push it <v Speaker 1>that far. But yeah, it's fun and it runs really well. <v Speaker 1>All right, let's get it out the way. Okay, al right, <v Speaker 1>some big ones. Yeah, I don't know where we're going <v Speaker 1>to put Kirby air Riders. Have you guys play? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I want to opinion. <v Speaker 3>I think because I was speaking earlier the chat too, <v Speaker 3>people were talking about least back to Mario Kark for <v Speaker 3>single player type things, it just didn't have enough. Whereas Kirby. <v Speaker 3>I feel like I feel like it's more single layer <v Speaker 3>than anything at this point with how it works either <v Speaker 3>the way, though, I do love City Trial. I think <v Speaker 3>City Trial is probably the best mode that it has, yeah, <v Speaker 3>just because it's the most chaotic type of racing you <v Speaker 3>could really have. And I was talking about this too, <v Speaker 3>I guess a Gamesop employee about it, uh, and we <v Speaker 3>were kind of talking about like Mario Kart World and <v Speaker 3>and how Air Riders. It's I wouldn't even call it <v Speaker 3>a niche racing game at that point to because it's Kirby, <v Speaker 3>but it's probably the most like more. <v Speaker 1>Technical racing game that you could play. <v Speaker 3>And I think about how in the two one hour <v Speaker 3>along directs that soccer I did about it a lot. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>how he just had like talked, yeah exactly for two <v Speaker 3>whole hours, sots about I. <v Speaker 1>Don't know if we needed all that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Well, now having played the game, having. <v Speaker 3>Not seen him since like the what the Sora DLC for. <v Speaker 1>Smashing, I guess I want to complain about getting screen. <v Speaker 3>But yeah, I will say there was a lot of <v Speaker 3>like extra exposition. But it's cool because it shows how <v Speaker 3>much he really loves the game. And I think City <v Speaker 3>Trial is probably the best mode of it single player. <v Speaker 3>What was that called it? I forget the mode. It <v Speaker 3>was like the road something. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that road trip road trip. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I feel like that has I don't know, it <v Speaker 3>just kind of feels like more repetitive. There's a story <v Speaker 3>to it there. It's cool because I love Kirby lore <v Speaker 3>as well. I love like anything regarding Herby. Yeah, okay <v Speaker 3>Kirby especially, but a lot here today people but yeah, <v Speaker 3>city Trille like is the more attractive thing to it, <v Speaker 3>because regular racing doesn't feel like. <v Speaker 2>You get the one where you build your machine. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, exactly, you get all the honest to it, and <v Speaker 3>you can play that online and I believe the lobby <v Speaker 3>size is twelve Yeah, I think online and you can <v Speaker 3>do whatever you want with that too, So I feel <v Speaker 3>like that's the biggest part of it. But besides that, <v Speaker 3>it's more of an also little bit of nostalgia factor <v Speaker 3>kind of coming into. <v Speaker 1>I think he remove nostalgia a little bit of a. <v Speaker 3>Factor coming in there too, just a little bit of <v Speaker 3>remove that, remove that factor a little bit just coming in. <v Speaker 1>It's an f No, No, I'm pretty low on it, though, <v Speaker 1>honestly I would do. See, I'm good putting it right <v Speaker 1>next to Polk. <v Speaker 2>I see. It's not bad because it's it's a very <v Speaker 2>short game. <v Speaker 1>The game she like, Yeah, what's going on here? <v Speaker 2>Guys. Sorry, it's a very short game, and it's very <v Speaker 2>minimalistic when it comes to like its controls, like I mean, <v Speaker 2>you're already auto accelerating. It's like seems like if you're <v Speaker 2>playing it for the first time, it feels like a <v Speaker 2>dummy game, like you know, like for kids, like it's <v Speaker 2>already accell you just hold down ada or like beat <v Speaker 2>a break or a break I mean, and just shooting <v Speaker 2>your enemies in front of you. <v Speaker 3>I would say, though, like if you have both Mario <v Speaker 3>Kart and Kirby. <v Speaker 2>I feel like they feel vastly different, very different. <v Speaker 1>Do you feel? <v Speaker 3>And I think that could probably be like would you <v Speaker 3>say you lean towards more Mario Kart just because it's. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it feels more like a traditional racing game, whereas <v Speaker 2>Kirby feels like it'll play itself if I let it play, <v Speaker 2>it'll play at autumn, you. <v Speaker 1>Know, Toby So, Kirby air Riders to me, I also, <v Speaker 1>while you're talking, I realized we have these coffee bunks, <v Speaker 1>and I brought coffee. We didn't put coffee in. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, true's all right. <v Speaker 3>They look nice on some coffee. <v Speaker 2>Uh. <v Speaker 1>Kirby air Riders to me is it should be obvious <v Speaker 1>obviously because it's Sackerry. But it's like Smash. It's like <v Speaker 1>the Fighter game meshed with a cart racer. <v Speaker 3>There's pretty much the. <v Speaker 2>Same smash moves that each character. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, and it's a lot of details to it. I <v Speaker 1>love again, I mean, great animations too, and I'm not <v Speaker 1>totally sold on, like for the tracks, Like the visuals <v Speaker 1>of the tracks, I think they're okay. We're not like <v Speaker 1>Mario Cut World Level, but you know, I didn't expect <v Speaker 1>them to be. I like, so I talked to Bob <v Speaker 1>about this. What we both like about the racing in <v Speaker 1>Kirby Air Riders, even though it's not my favorite like <v Speaker 1>feeling game. I like that you're really in control of <v Speaker 1>your placement in any race, so you really like because <v Speaker 1>you get like boosts from killing people and attacking people <v Speaker 1>people and like a lot of like the power you <v Speaker 1>get and like like sucking the enemies. All that's like <v Speaker 1>it's all random through the level rather than like the <v Speaker 1>set up blocks in Mario item blocks is in Mario Cut, <v Speaker 1>and then in Mario Cut there's like obviously rubber banding <v Speaker 1>and there's all like strategy behind, like don't be in <v Speaker 1>first place too early because you end up getting blueeshelled <v Speaker 1>or last and rubber banded. Right, But in Air Riders, <v Speaker 1>it's really like if you're good at the game, you're winning, ye, <v Speaker 1>And that's like probably that's full stop, period. So I <v Speaker 1>love that about it. Like there's things I like about it. <v Speaker 1>City Trials is cool for everything you said, I just <v Speaker 1>feel like it's a lot of guff for a thirty <v Speaker 1>second explode like. <v Speaker 3>How like you could be have like those stacks like <v Speaker 3>machine and then all of a sudden you lose. <v Speaker 1>It's a lot of I don't know how to say <v Speaker 1>this politely. It's a lot of preamble for a quick finish. <v Speaker 1>You know, you know what I'm getting at. So for me, <v Speaker 1>it actually feels a little bit unsatisfying, But I love <v Speaker 1>the concept of the moment. I do think I'm landing <v Speaker 1>more around B, Like I'll put it up there with <v Speaker 1>like Hiro Warriors. It's not the but it is seventy dollars, <v Speaker 1>and I feel like most people, I feel like most <v Speaker 1>people would feel burned by that. <v Speaker 2>I was gonna say, what if for the five hours <v Speaker 2>of content you get, Yeah, it's. <v Speaker 3>Gonna say what a price change? <v Speaker 1>Like change your Yes, Well, I'd probably still put it <v Speaker 1>in B. But if it was forty dollars, I think <v Speaker 1>it would be appropriately priced. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that makes sense. <v Speaker 1>I feel like Nintendo's like whole variable pricing thing, which <v Speaker 1>at this point it just seems to be seventy dollars. <v Speaker 2>Seventy or eighty. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, but everything else has been seventy. Yeah, yeah, I <v Speaker 1>wonder why who knows. I don't want to know. <v Speaker 3>I don't want to know. <v Speaker 1>I don't want I don't want to speculate money. Probably probably, <v Speaker 1>but that's it. <v Speaker 2>That's it. <v Speaker 1>I mean, I feel like they're like variable pricing. But <v Speaker 1>then it's like Kirby comes out, which I feel like <v Speaker 1>is so clearly at best a fifty dollars game. Yeah maybe, <v Speaker 1>like even if I'm gonna push it, I'll give you sixty. <v Speaker 1>But why are we doing seventy? Why are we doing <v Speaker 1>like the same level as like Top Shelf when it's <v Speaker 1>clearly it's clearly come on, come on, Like it's very <v Speaker 1>rare for me as someone who reviews all these games <v Speaker 1>for a living and will probably make my money back <v Speaker 1>on a review. And also I can claim the game <v Speaker 1>on tax to buy a game, get home, play it <v Speaker 1>and feel burnt and feel like I wasted money on this, <v Speaker 1>and I would rather have not paid the seventy you know, <v Speaker 1>and like I also so when I got it, it <v Speaker 1>was friends giving time and there was like loads of <v Speaker 1>people in my house, and like, like I say, about <v Speaker 1>twenty this game had just come out and everyone wanted <v Speaker 1>to try it. Not one person liked it, really, not <v Speaker 1>one person. I mean everyone tried like the game like <v Speaker 1>one time and then they were like, I'm good. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I feel like it is a niche audience for like, <v Speaker 2>it's very the nostalgia of like the people who played <v Speaker 2>it on GameCube. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'd say it's definitely a niche is good. <v Speaker 3>I just realized is drag ex driving on here? <v Speaker 1>It was supposed to be. I downloaded the file for it, <v Speaker 1>and I put the file in, but I am now <v Speaker 1>not seeing racing. Yeah, I don't have a way of <v Speaker 1>doing it now. It's yeah, I mean right. It just <v Speaker 1>needed more, like need more of It needed more of anything. <v Speaker 1>It needed more color, it needed less price robot, it <v Speaker 1>needed less robot, needed more personality. <v Speaker 2>And oh that was one of the demos. <v Speaker 1>It was. It was the one you had to I <v Speaker 1>used to use them. <v Speaker 3>Can I tell you When they first revealed that, I <v Speaker 3>thought it was like a DJ game. The way they <v Speaker 3>were trying to show them, I'm like, oh, this is sick. <v Speaker 3>And then I saw like, oh, this is. <v Speaker 1>The first time I saw that game in action. I <v Speaker 1>was at the Nintendo New York Experience and they had <v Speaker 1>a bunch of demo set up and for that game, <v Speaker 1>they had like ten tables in a row and everyone <v Speaker 1>was like playing the game. This is like a really <v Speaker 1>loud New York event. There's like so much, so many <v Speaker 1>people talking, but the overwhelming sound was ten people at <v Speaker 1>once going on a table. Like it was so loud, <v Speaker 1>and they were like aggressively. <v Speaker 2>Going out, Oh my gosh, grown men. <v Speaker 1>It also like, I know, it's silly to be like, <v Speaker 1>why couldn't they have given us a control scheme that <v Speaker 1>wasn't mouse for it? So like if you wanted to <v Speaker 1>play it without Moss, because I know, like the whole <v Speaker 1>point is, yeah, you said that game wouldn't work, but <v Speaker 1>then the whole point of Switch is that it switches <v Speaker 1>and that you can like play in all these different <v Speaker 1>modes tablet, doc blah blah blah blah. It's kind of <v Speaker 1>impossible to play other than one way, which is sat <v Speaker 1>at the table. <v Speaker 2>Yes exactly. Yeah, like you need a table kind of <v Speaker 2>a matt too, because the mole s controls don't work <v Speaker 2>well on just straight Yeah, so you're just. <v Speaker 1>Doing it, get like, yeah, it would kind of feel <v Speaker 1>you gotta like make a whole day of it. <v Speaker 2>You have to like it set up. <v Speaker 1>You have to have a dragons Drive set up and <v Speaker 1>get ready to like spend the night playing Drag X Drive. <v Speaker 3>Does that have camera functionality too? <v Speaker 1>I don't think so. Oh who knows, Bubble, little bubble. <v Speaker 1>We got by a table, now you got by a matt. <v Speaker 1>It's kind of like playing VR, you know, like you <v Speaker 1>guys have VA Player. You ever think about playing VR? <v Speaker 1>And you're like, but then I gotta like charge the heads. <v Speaker 1>I gotta like get it out. I'm gonna like find <v Speaker 1>a space in my house that's drag and anything. I <v Speaker 1>had to find somewhere to play this thing anyway. That's <v Speaker 1>in f all right. Metro Prime four, I saved the <v Speaker 1>best to last. Wow did you guys? Didn't you didn't <v Speaker 1>play it? <v Speaker 2>No? <v Speaker 1>I mean I was seventy dollars as well, that should <v Speaker 1>have also been forty. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. I was really excited about this game. <v Speaker 3>But we've talked about it, we talked about before. <v Speaker 1>I remember how that's a tough statement. I just heard. <v Speaker 1>I was really excited for this game, and I'm glad <v Speaker 1>I didn't buy it. I mean, that's rough, but I <v Speaker 1>agree with you. <v Speaker 2>I feel like the developers were originally going for something <v Speaker 2>and then they were told by the higher ups, Hey, <v Speaker 2>we need to make this more like open world, you know, <v Speaker 2>such and such. <v Speaker 1>Remember they had a scrap Yeah. I actually since my <v Speaker 1>video came out, I actually read an article that the <v Speaker 1>developers they said that they knew the Desert didn't work. <v Speaker 1>They were like really, yeah, they said that they got <v Speaker 1>so far into development they knew the Desert wasn't working, <v Speaker 1>but they'd already did the games even scrapped once. It's <v Speaker 1>already so many years in the development and they just <v Speaker 1>had to get the game out, so they just had <v Speaker 1>to commit to it. <v Speaker 2>Wow, is there like any real reason why I got <v Speaker 2>scrapped the first time? <v Speaker 1>Like so, I don't think they've officially said. I kind <v Speaker 1>of draw some correlations in my video, and it's just <v Speaker 1>that the first time they were developing it, the first <v Speaker 1>time it was announced as Metro Prime four. Yeah, it <v Speaker 1>was a Nintendo developed in house somehow, although I think <v Speaker 1>someone pointed out it was they were using a different <v Speaker 1>team or something, but it was essentially it was someone <v Speaker 1>but Nintendo was essentially taking chang. Okay, Nintendo hasn't ever <v Speaker 1>developed a Metroid Prime before. They've never done a metro <v Speaker 1>game period. The only one they've done is other M, <v Speaker 1>which they co developed and obviously wasn't good. Yes, so <v Speaker 1>what I'm drawing correlations here? They got two years in <v Speaker 1>and they were like, we don't really know how to <v Speaker 1>do this because we haven't done it before, and. <v Speaker 3>They're stuck under the advertised Prime force. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, well yeah, what are we to do at this point? <v Speaker 1>And so they were like, well, let's go to the <v Speaker 1>people that made the Prime games and see if they <v Speaker 1>want to do it. But at that point, you know, <v Speaker 1>and I'm sorry people that watched my video, but at <v Speaker 1>that point, this is twenty years in. It's all different people, <v Speaker 1>it's all different staff. And actually a lot of them <v Speaker 1>were ex Halo developers from three four three that worked <v Speaker 1>on Halo's four or five in Infinite And also they <v Speaker 1>weren't like they hadn't made a metroid in twenty years <v Speaker 1>and they had no intentions to. So now all of <v Speaker 1>a sudden, can you make a metroid? So like you <v Speaker 1>got to start from scratch, You got to like build <v Speaker 1>an engine, you got to build assets, you got to <v Speaker 1>like figer out what am I doing? So yeah, that <v Speaker 1>takes a long time to just like give someone a <v Speaker 1>big game like that out of nowhere. So yeah, I mean, <v Speaker 1>and there was eight years. They were probably developing it <v Speaker 1>for six I would say it was probably pretty close <v Speaker 1>to being finalized. For the last year they were just <v Speaker 1>waiting for a good spot to drop it. So it <v Speaker 1>probably had about a five year development cycle, and somewhere <v Speaker 1>close to the end they were like, this kind of <v Speaker 1>didn't come together and kind of didn't work, but what <v Speaker 1>are we going to do? They even said that something <v Speaker 1>they had noticed that in the eight years of developing it, <v Speaker 1>that the mindset and the appreciation for open world games <v Speaker 1>had twisted, because it went from Break and the Wild <v Speaker 1>being groundbreaking and open world being like the thing, to <v Speaker 1>everyone doing everyone world, which they started doing. And then <v Speaker 1>by the time they released their game, they were a <v Speaker 1>lot of people hate this. Now people have soured on <v Speaker 1>this and our games about to come out. So it <v Speaker 1>was like, didn't work and it was dated and it <v Speaker 1>wasn't really Metroid. <v Speaker 2>They didn't even do it right either. I mean, they <v Speaker 2>just put the desert there for the sake of just <v Speaker 2>making it feel bigger, and. <v Speaker 1>I think that's part of them realizing it didn't work. <v Speaker 1>They didn't bother to flesh it outly because they were like, <v Speaker 1>no one's gonna like this anyway. <v Speaker 2>Anyways. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I don't think I've seen any like other review <v Speaker 3>because I've seen a couple review videos on it. I <v Speaker 3>think a lot of people agree about the Desert just <v Speaker 3>not being it and. <v Speaker 1>It's the worst. Everyone agrees, even the people that like <v Speaker 1>it Tea, you mean, like on Metacritic. I believe it <v Speaker 1>got a seventy eight, and I believe that because four <v Speaker 1>of Nintendo's games got seventy eight in a row. Wow, <v Speaker 1>it was which by the way, and I have another <v Speaker 1>I have another idea for a video and beat them <v Speaker 1>ups for that too, because like we're not really used <v Speaker 1>to Nintendo releasing these big Triple A games at seventy <v Speaker 1>like seven ten's like we're used to like nine, ten, ten, <v Speaker 1>Yeah for real. So I think it started with Pokemon <v Speaker 1>with seventy eight, Kirby was seventy eight, Pokemon Za was <v Speaker 1>seventy eight. Flip those they got them in the wrong order. <v Speaker 3>Whether Pokemon was there. <v Speaker 1>Let me start again. Pokemon was seventy eight, Zelder was <v Speaker 1>seventy eight, Kirby was seventy eight, Metroid was seventy eight. Wow, Yeah, <v Speaker 1>they were seventy eights unless it shifted a degree or two. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>they were all seventy eights. So, and I honestly feel <v Speaker 1>like in the case of games like Metroid, it's like <v Speaker 1>it only got seventy eight because it's Nintendo. In Metroid <v Speaker 1>and Auto developers and reviewers, sorry, a lot of these <v Speaker 1>reviewer outlets, they're too scared to give anything less than <v Speaker 1>a ten. People gave it a ten. Really yeah, and <v Speaker 1>it's like, no, like even like objectively, even if you <v Speaker 1>like it, what are we talking about? Yeah, you know, <v Speaker 1>nines and tens for that game? Come on, Yeah, it's <v Speaker 1>the lowest review rated Metroid Prime game two because the <v Speaker 1>other Primes eight, one, two, and three all got higher. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it was. <v Speaker 1>It was a miss. I actually think it's more of <v Speaker 1>like a five or six out of ten at best. <v Speaker 1>I didn't talk about this. <v Speaker 2>In my review. <v Speaker 1>I did, but I cut it. But the thing that <v Speaker 1>I love about like Metroid Prime one is I talk <v Speaker 1>about the maps, right, and how bigger than expansive the <v Speaker 1>maps are, and individually I focused on them, like here's <v Speaker 1>Talent Overworld and then here's Fury Green and Metro Prime four, <v Speaker 1>and look at the difference, like one's a straight line <v Speaker 1>and the others like this complex map. The other crazy <v Speaker 1>thing I didn't even talk about in my video is <v Speaker 1>all those complex prime maps are stacked on top of <v Speaker 1>each other. So if you go over here, you can <v Speaker 1>go down into like the frozen world or whatever, and <v Speaker 1>it's like, not only is there a giant puzzle in <v Speaker 1>one piece of the map, but it's all one big <v Speaker 1>four D puzzle. The desert removes that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, deserts like you have. <v Speaker 1>You have three or four really shallow areas that aren't <v Speaker 1>even connected because there's a big desert which is like <v Speaker 1>a loading screen in between. It's just the most shallow <v Speaker 1>game development possible, which again I don't blame them for <v Speaker 1>because most of them had only ever done like a <v Speaker 1>Halo game. And now you're like, hey, make something to <v Speaker 1>the level of symphony of the Night. It's like, come <v Speaker 1>on on, limited time limit of whatever. And also Hollow Night, <v Speaker 1>it's gonna beat you to really center. I was gonna say, yeah, <v Speaker 1>a G six came out forward to I'm not Gonna <v Speaker 1>f It, which is a funny thing to say because <v Speaker 1>it sounds like sound down with Metro with with a <v Speaker 1>chilling by the fire and welcome to it. I'll give <v Speaker 1>it a D. Though I'm going to give it a D. <v Speaker 1>I'm pretty pretty passionate about that one. And then I <v Speaker 1>threw Cyberpunk on here for wackies anyone play. It's not <v Speaker 1>an exclusive by any means, but I just thought I <v Speaker 1>was thinking, like, what's like the biggest third party switch to, <v Speaker 1>and I would say cyber Punk. I've heard a lot <v Speaker 1>of great things about it. I played it like I <v Speaker 1>played a little bit. <v Speaker 2>Really it's the same thing just on switch to right. <v Speaker 1>The same game, and it looked it actually, well, I <v Speaker 1>don't know, it's the best to switch it's the best <v Speaker 1>to switch to has ever PlayStation five pro and everything, <v Speaker 1>but it does it looks crazy good because you know, <v Speaker 1>I don't. <v Speaker 2>I don't. <v Speaker 1>I don't want to like assume you guys don't know, <v Speaker 1>but you know, like there's a difference between like just <v Speaker 1>pourting a game, like taking a game like Rada recently <v Speaker 1>came to the system. They took the PC port and <v Speaker 1>they were like, does it run on switch it does great? <v Speaker 1>Release it sell it. This is like they went to <v Speaker 1>the drawing board and they redeveloped back into the engine <v Speaker 1>and they made sure everything. <v Speaker 2>Worked like oblivion to push it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, So I mean for that reason, and I and <v Speaker 1>I think because it has all this DLC and it <v Speaker 1>has all these fixes over the years, I'm honestly thinking <v Speaker 1>that's that's a nice, solid beat. That's a great game. <v Speaker 2>I think, yeah, it deserves its rink. <v Speaker 1>So this is where I kind of was as well <v Speaker 1>with Mario cart World and Donkey Kong. I was like, <v Speaker 1>I don't know if anything else is going to get <v Speaker 1>in Mario Cut's tier, and I feel like Donkey Kong <v Speaker 1>is a tier above. Yeah, definitely, but I'm not against <v Speaker 1>doing this. It's just funny because what's a then? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, that's true. And honestly, DKB was the more <v Speaker 2>polished game. <v Speaker 1>I had so much content, so much content, yes, and <v Speaker 1>a chef's kids. And I think it has replayability. I <v Speaker 1>think you can just play the game again because it's <v Speaker 1>so much fun. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. How do you feel about like the so many collectibles? <v Speaker 2>Nine hundred? <v Speaker 1>But yeah, I think it's I think it's like seven <v Speaker 1>hundred and seventy seven bananas. Yeah, I mean it's it's <v Speaker 1>good that there's like a lot to do. I didn't <v Speaker 1>I got like I got like six hundred. Yeah, I <v Speaker 1>went hot. I mean I think you need six hundred <v Speaker 1>to do the end d OC. Yeah, but I'm not <v Speaker 1>getting all seven seven. <v Speaker 2>I just felt like dk B the worlds were not <v Speaker 2>as like memorable as like obviously like the different layers. <v Speaker 2>Like honestly, I could like each kingdom was like so <v Speaker 2>unique and memorable. Yeah, or to like you know, dk B, <v Speaker 2>DKB had like some great layers and then there's a <v Speaker 2>lot of like what felt like filler layers. <v Speaker 1>I mean the fast food layer was fun, that was <v Speaker 1>like really good. Yeah, and then you play the DC <v Speaker 1>actually because speaking about replayability, you get the Kong Island, <v Speaker 1>which is sick, but they add a roguelike mode yea, <v Speaker 1>which is like more collect Emeralds I think, right, yeah, <v Speaker 1>and you could infinitely replay it like a Haites like <v Speaker 1>style game. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>So uh as we can all agree by the conversation <v Speaker 1>that we just had that Maria Ca it was an <v Speaker 1>f Yeah, it's a lot. Actually everything I just said <v Speaker 1>convinced you. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I can't believe I was brainwashing a. <v Speaker 1>I wanted to put it an it gets people, it <v Speaker 1>gets people. <v Speaker 3>Maning about Mario. <v Speaker 1>But that's the official list of down we like, we <v Speaker 1>cut out there for a minute. I'll be back. How <v Speaker 1>we doing chat saying we're good. Well, at least we <v Speaker 1>got through the tail list essentially for the most part. <v Speaker 1>All right, let's let's let's done. Let's get off that. <v Speaker 1>Let's get off that before we before everything loses and <v Speaker 1>we lose everything again. M hm oh wait, wait away <v Speaker 1>with that, away with that. Wait there you go. There <v Speaker 1>you go all right so quickly before we go into <v Speaker 1>the next segment. I realized we didn't mention this, but <v Speaker 1>you guys also channels if you people want to, like, <v Speaker 1>check you guys out. You've had one since the beginning <v Speaker 1>of Mankind. <v Speaker 2>Old. <v Speaker 1>Your channel is older than mine. I saw yours is <v Speaker 1>twenty eleven. Yeah, what is yours twenty thirteen? Thirty ooh, yeah, <v Speaker 1>so I've been doing YouTube longer than you have. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>and you're like og Nintendo too, Because I had on <v Speaker 1>my guy, one of my editors, was like, I sent <v Speaker 1>him the audio to try and fix it. Yeah, and <v Speaker 1>he saw you and he was like, you got Sally <v Speaker 1>on your How do you know Sally? <v Speaker 2>Yeah? I was like, I started in twenty eleven with <v Speaker 2>the launch of the three DS, and OT was actually <v Speaker 2>the first game I played on the channel. I was <v Speaker 2>recording it with a camera. Oh wow, and I had <v Speaker 2>to tape my three DS and use my fingers to <v Speaker 2>like control the game. <v Speaker 1>And that's you would hooker. You didn't say that the <v Speaker 1>lower THIRDY came up on Y. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Here, you don't go to play it again right now? <v Speaker 1>Oh wait, yeah, because we're doing a shout out. I <v Speaker 1>see what you're doing. <v Speaker 2>Ooh yeah yeah, I mean fifteen years this year twenty <v Speaker 2>six and my fifteenth year anniversary. <v Speaker 1>On YouTube congratulation. <v Speaker 2>That's awesome, you know. <v Speaker 1>So do you do anything special for ten? <v Speaker 2>I honestly okay, So from twenty nineteen to twenty twenty four, <v Speaker 2>I was just kind of absent. I would maybe upload <v Speaker 2>very sporadically here and there. Yeah, because I do other <v Speaker 2>things outside of like this YouTube channel. Like I have <v Speaker 2>multiple other YouTube channels that are like faceless just kind <v Speaker 2>of like yeah, and so those channels like worked out <v Speaker 2>for me. So it just kind of took a step back. <v Speaker 2>I have a whole video on my channel I just <v Speaker 2>talked about like the burnout because I started at seventeen, <v Speaker 2>you know, yeah, after fifteen years, I get it. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>so like eight nine, ten years into it, I was <v Speaker 2>just cooked. Yeah, you know, yeah, I'm like, yeah, and <v Speaker 2>no breaks whatsoever having to be on that rat race. <v Speaker 2>But now I'm at a point where I'm just like <v Speaker 2>trying to just archive all the games because I know <v Speaker 2>at some point I'll retire from doing the game stuff <v Speaker 2>on this channel, So I want to leave behind an <v Speaker 2>archive of all these Nintendo games, my favorite Nintendo games, <v Speaker 2>new and old, and just didn't have it archived on <v Speaker 2>the channel for when I do retire, just from this <v Speaker 2>specific channel and move on to something else. So I'm <v Speaker 2>working on that right now. <v Speaker 1>Very cool. Yeah, and then I met I didn't meet you. <v Speaker 1>I saw you because I was trying to find someone <v Speaker 1>to do this show with me, and so I youtubed <v Speaker 1>Nintendo Switched to Philly to try and find someone, and <v Speaker 1>you had a video that was buying the first Switch <v Speaker 1>to in Philadelphia. <v Speaker 2>The first Switch. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I claim that title very proudly. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, but I mean, yeah, I'm somewhat similar. <v Speaker 3>I feel like I have the youngest channel out of <v Speaker 3>all you guys, but it's turned ten years old this year. <v Speaker 3>Pretty much. <v Speaker 1>Well that's that's still pretty all considering. Yeah, ten years younger. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, so you're like you were thirteen. <v Speaker 3>What I mean, Yeah, so in high school I remember <v Speaker 3>making it age I avoided everything. <v Speaker 1>Now we're good. <v Speaker 3>But yeah, this channel turned ten years old, and I <v Speaker 3>think you asked him like, wait, did you celebrate, like <v Speaker 3>this is a good way to kind of kick. <v Speaker 1>Off a celebration rattling to be featured today. <v Speaker 3>No, it's in October, so I have a little planned <v Speaker 3>like you know, every month until then, we'll do something special. <v Speaker 3>I'll kind of commemorate it. But yeah, I mean the <v Speaker 3>way that you know you asked me to be honest, <v Speaker 3>I feel honored, honestly, really cool to kind of be <v Speaker 3>here in this moment just talking about Nintendo and games. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I was watching some of your stuff and he just <v Speaker 1>had a really nice, like chill, genuine vibe. And I'm <v Speaker 1>glad you said that. <v Speaker 3>I'm glad that that's online because my community does not <v Speaker 3>think that. <v Speaker 1>So communities are often wrong. Let me tell you I've experienced. <v Speaker 2>I love it. <v Speaker 3>I love hearing it. You heard your first size. So <v Speaker 3>but yeah, seriously, thank you for having us on and <v Speaker 3>everyone be a part of this. I feel like the <v Speaker 3>idea of bringing back, you know, something that you were <v Speaker 3>so passionate about and in order to do it the <v Speaker 3>right way too. I think that's what really stuck out <v Speaker 3>to me when I saw your video. I think it's <v Speaker 3>cool that you know everyone's on the same page about <v Speaker 3>it too. Everyone wants to to put their all into it, <v Speaker 3>whether it's for production or just actual being on the <v Speaker 3>screen or whatever. I think it's really cool, and I <v Speaker 3>think this is really the start of something really cool. <v Speaker 1>So thank you for having me. I really appreciate it. <v Speaker 3>Nice to meet everyone too. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, over the weeks two, as we continue on, you'll <v Speaker 1>probably meet and see a lot of the people from <v Speaker 1>out of the back too, and we can get to <v Speaker 1>know them as well. Yeah, that'd be really cool. I <v Speaker 1>also was supposed to do a shout out to the Patreons. <v Speaker 1>I'm now realizing at like thirty minutes and then I forgot. <v Speaker 1>Of course, I need somebody to like remind me of that, <v Speaker 1>because I always forget about that. But yeah, if you <v Speaker 1>guys want to support to begin with, thank you to <v Speaker 1>all the Patreons who came over over the last week <v Speaker 1>or so. It's been so crazy and in the comment <v Speaker 1>section or in the YouTube chat, let people know. I mean, <v Speaker 1>there's been so much content over there. I said that <v Speaker 1>I would pull up the Patreon and then I forgot, <v Speaker 1>So give me a second here, and I'll give you <v Speaker 1>a little walk through it if you wanted to help support, <v Speaker 1>because yeah, no sponsors, and I don't know if we <v Speaker 1>ever will. Don't show this, that's fine, sorry, I wasn't <v Speaker 1>ready yet. We'll go membership. Sorry, I'm in the back <v Speaker 1>end right now, and then preview. Now you can shut <v Speaker 1>it now, you can shout there we go. So come <v Speaker 1>over here to the Patreon. We got everything on sale <v Speaker 1>sixty percent off, or you can do a annual subscription <v Speaker 1>if you want, and you can save money that way. <v Speaker 2>Oh, that's a good save rate there. Nintendo vip Castle <v Speaker 2>is looking good. <v Speaker 1>So after this episode, we're gonna do a bonus episode immediately, <v Speaker 1>all of us here, we're gonna do a third minute <v Speaker 1>bonus exclusively for patreons, and you can see that today <v Speaker 1>for two dollars two dollars. <v Speaker 2>And one might argue that the bonus episode is better <v Speaker 2>than the main show. <v Speaker 1>Well, in today's bonus episode, we're doing a Patreon question <v Speaker 1>and it's predicting the next Nintendo Direct. Oh, I like <v Speaker 1>it already when it is, and also what we're hoping <v Speaker 1>to see and what'specially coming from you too, you know, <v Speaker 1>oh yeah, right longer direct, Yeah, yeah, don't it's not <v Speaker 1>mentioned anything about that. And then you could also do <v Speaker 1>the super secret bonus for four dollars right now, which <v Speaker 1>gets you behind the scenes staff ten percent off all <v Speaker 1>merch early. And then Cayleb has been going crazy with <v Speaker 1>the behind the scenes and we shot a bunch more <v Speaker 1>behind the scenes today before we went for you guys. <v Speaker 1>And then the VIP castle that gets you everything plus <v Speaker 1>the physical rewards, and I was talking to the patreons <v Speaker 1>on before about what we're doing for some of those rewards, <v Speaker 1>and I have some pretty cool things planned because I <v Speaker 1>do want to. I mean, with the stickers and the <v Speaker 1>pins and everything, they're going to be a standard, but <v Speaker 1>every now and then I want to throw in something special. <v Speaker 1>And that's only eight dollars right now, and you get <v Speaker 1>stuff shipped to you this month or probably next talking <v Speaker 1>about it, and this is like the only thing really <v Speaker 1>that's going to be supporting the channel, especially with this <v Speaker 1>new revamp. I have no idea what revenue is going <v Speaker 1>to look like. We've got to build back up in <v Speaker 1>the algorithms, which, by the way, if you're listening to <v Speaker 1>the audio of this. This is a side thing, but <v Speaker 1>thank you so much because I really I want to <v Speaker 1>build back up in the in the algorithms on the <v Speaker 1>audio side of things too. So this is all new <v Speaker 1>and Patreons, you're the ones that are making this possible. <v Speaker 1>So thank you so much. Away from that now, thank <v Speaker 1>you so much. Okay, all right to end the show <v Speaker 1>today because we're going on nowy Sully, we're gonna do it. <v Speaker 1>We're gonna do a game at the end of every. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, at the end of every show, We're gonna do <v Speaker 2>a little something fun. So you know, I prepared something <v Speaker 2>for Wood. <v Speaker 1>You guys, I actually don't know what it is. <v Speaker 2>He doesn't know what it is, but you guys at <v Speaker 2>home can feel free to play along with us. So <v Speaker 2>we are going yeah, so it. <v Speaker 1>Oh no, I've seen a picture that's okay, yo, how do. <v Speaker 2>I Okay, this is good. So we're gonna we're gonna <v Speaker 2>zoom in make sure before past switches to my computer. Okay, <v Speaker 2>So pretty much, I kind of got this idea from Wood, <v Speaker 2>so he gave me the idea and I just kind <v Speaker 2>of did it a little bit differently. So what we <v Speaker 2>have going on is I'm gonna ask what a question? <v Speaker 2>And he has ten characters, Nintendo characters that he's going <v Speaker 2>to have to assign into one of two different categories. <v Speaker 2>The question, stin Wood here is which Nintendo characters would <v Speaker 2>you trust with your credit card? No refunds, no fraud protection? <v Speaker 1>Okay, all right, all right, so you I hope you <v Speaker 1>put Tingle on here? Oh hold up, only because we <v Speaker 1>were talking about something else in the chat. <v Speaker 2>Oh no spoiler Tingle. Tingle is not on the look. <v Speaker 1>Tingle is a hard don't trust with anything? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean all right, So first one we have <v Speaker 2>is Luigi. <v Speaker 1>Trust with my credit card? <v Speaker 2>Yes? <v Speaker 1>Now is this like, so I'm trusting him to go <v Speaker 1>buy something and like do something for me? Or is <v Speaker 1>this I'm trusting he's not going to use it once <v Speaker 1>I give it to him? <v Speaker 2>You trust him in all aspects? You give him your <v Speaker 2>card aspects? Yes, Like do you trust him to if <v Speaker 2>you have like an MX Platinum card, do you trust <v Speaker 2>him with that card for a weekend. <v Speaker 1>I have absolutely no reason not to trust Luigi with <v Speaker 1>my credit I don't know what he would buy them. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>Luigi seems like a very true I can't think of <v Speaker 1>a reason why I wouldn't trust him beyond like just <v Speaker 1>the general not wanting to trust someone with my credit card, <v Speaker 1>but you have to if I have to, Yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 1>I would give it to him before a tingle. <v Speaker 2>Okay. <v Speaker 1>And that's my bar. That's my bar that I'm implementing <v Speaker 1>because there's no teamingles. <v Speaker 2>Okay, So Luigi trusts. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, no, he seems trustworthy. <v Speaker 2>Number two is Peach. <v Speaker 1>I don't want it. I don't want to do this. <v Speaker 2>The princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. She's already rich, so <v Speaker 2>she probably would have no incentive to want to spend <v Speaker 2>your money. <v Speaker 1>That's true, almost trying to think what these characters used <v Speaker 1>to think. <v Speaker 2>You've never played You never seen Peach go shopping with <v Speaker 2>the toads and bringing all the boxes. You got to <v Speaker 2>play that miniame where you're carrying the boxes. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, so that's what I was thinking. And again <v Speaker 1>I didn't I didn't want to get like weird with it. <v Speaker 1>But I feel like Peach is the kind of girl <v Speaker 1>that goes out on shopping sprees like I just and <v Speaker 1>I'm basing that on that one mini game. <v Speaker 2>I so she is rich though, so she's used to <v Speaker 2>spending money to spend. <v Speaker 1>Mario Sunshine. They took a trip to Ale. <v Speaker 2>True true, coming out of woods. <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, and she's going to have like tastes like <v Speaker 1>she's wearing a gold crown. She's got like a gold <v Speaker 1>pending on. <v Speaker 2>She has her toad, Butler's following her everywhere. <v Speaker 1>That's don't trust, that's trust putting it and don't trust. <v Speaker 1>I think we got there. <v Speaker 2>Ok. <v Speaker 1>Sorry, sorry, Peach, Sorry unless are we dating? <v Speaker 2>No? No, she's just your homie. No, no, all right. <v Speaker 2>Next we have Tom. <v Speaker 1>He's the minister taking my money for the last six years, but. <v Speaker 2>He's been investing it back into the island. <v Speaker 1>How is How's that my problem? <v Speaker 2>True? I mean he is a politician, right. <v Speaker 1>I wouldn't trust really everything. Yeah, politician. No, I'm not <v Speaker 1>trusting him with my money, but my bells. I don't <v Speaker 1>trust him at all. <v Speaker 2>That's a good call, honestly. If you if you, if <v Speaker 2>you said you trust it. <v Speaker 1>I'm sick of giving him my money. Yes, that's the <v Speaker 1>thing you don't need anymore. <v Speaker 3>Can I say something real quick too? I feel like <v Speaker 3>Luig wouldn't spend anything, but I feel like he would <v Speaker 3>lose it. <v Speaker 2>He'd lose it. <v Speaker 3>He would lose the card. <v Speaker 2>He'd lose it. <v Speaker 3>He'd lose it by somehow something would happen. <v Speaker 1>I can see the credit card. <v Speaker 2>You see that, my mommy? All right? Next up, Zelda. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, she could have it. <v Speaker 2>You didn't even think about this. <v Speaker 1>Now she can get it. What she can have the <v Speaker 1>credit cards. She can have it for science or something. <v Speaker 3>And this is Breath of the Wild Zelda to. <v Speaker 1>Be she was like a modest girl, yeah, the whole. <v Speaker 1>I know that she was raised a certain way, but <v Speaker 1>she is like a queen princess. And she's like not <v Speaker 1>wearing a crown. She's not like she's very about it. <v Speaker 1>She's wearing the same clothes. Yes, like a commoner as <v Speaker 1>it were. Yes, Like there's no credit cards back in <v Speaker 1>Breath of the Wild time, there's no like she could <v Speaker 1>come to your time and be here with you right now. <v Speaker 1>I still trust, still trust he walks down. Yeah, trust completely. <v Speaker 1>I'd lay my life down for he. Wow, alight, I <v Speaker 1>am link in this story. <v Speaker 2>Okay, Next up Warrior. Now listen, I know Warrior might <v Speaker 2>get some slack, but I just gotta say, Warrior knows <v Speaker 2>how to make money. <v Speaker 3>He does think about his empires, think about all this stuff. <v Speaker 1>He he steals money. I feel like he's a big <v Speaker 1>stealing money kind of guy. But does he still he's <v Speaker 1>a bad guy. Yeah, yeah, I think he steals money. <v Speaker 2>But look at look at all of his homies and <v Speaker 2>warrior ware and all those games. His homies are game. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, he makes great games made man. Yes, No, he <v Speaker 1>steals money. I just feel like he's a big stealing <v Speaker 1>money guy. His whole thing is stealing money. Does he <v Speaker 1>not sit on hordes of money that he's stolen. <v Speaker 2>No, but he he No, he he invests and he <v Speaker 2>makes it. He doesn't actually steal it. He's he's a <v Speaker 2>smart you're just. <v Speaker 1>Making that up. <v Speaker 2>No play games. He's an entrepreneur. Like that's his whole stick. <v Speaker 1>Like when I'm gonna remove it, right back to the basics. <v Speaker 1>He's a bad guy. <v Speaker 2>He's a bad guy. <v Speaker 1>I'm not trusting him, So don't trust. <v Speaker 2>See I would have said I trusted because if he <v Speaker 2>made money, you know, and he got like using your money, <v Speaker 2>then you're rich. He's gonna give you like. <v Speaker 1>Investment, he's gonna take take, take take. Oh, that's easy. <v Speaker 1>That's the same as the other one. Zelda, Okay, yeah, <v Speaker 1>that's a that's a true trust link wholeheartedly. <v Speaker 2>Okay. Next up we have Bowser. <v Speaker 1>See I just again. It's like bad guy, good guy. <v Speaker 1>Bowser is always stealing my stars. He's always literally taking <v Speaker 1>my coin. He's got fashion and at best in in <v Speaker 1>his nicest he takes the coins and he distributes them <v Speaker 1>evenly through everybody and bows his revolution and those are <v Speaker 1>my coins. That is true. <v Speaker 3>I just played Mario Party last night. <v Speaker 2>But it's it's based off of a chance. It's not <v Speaker 2>like that's the default he goes to. He's just trying <v Speaker 2>to be fair to the other guys, you know, so <v Speaker 2>sometimes he might make money in. <v Speaker 1>That one time in his FeNiS he gives my money <v Speaker 1>to other people to. <v Speaker 2>Take someone else's money, gives it to you? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, but then is he giving me a credit card? <v Speaker 1>Oh good, that's not trust? Well he does is take money. <v Speaker 1>I don't want to trust. I don't care if he's <v Speaker 1>buying things with it, giving it to somebody else, that's <v Speaker 1>that's abouts No, Okay, I don't think he even knows <v Speaker 1>what money is. Does he have a concept of finance? <v Speaker 3>We just do taxes? <v Speaker 1>Is he dodging the I R S M Okay, yeah, <v Speaker 1>I I trust. I don't think what if he eats it? <v Speaker 1>What if he just eat but then he he could <v Speaker 1>spit it out right. <v Speaker 2>Maybe could Maybe he eats it and then becomes the bank. <v Speaker 2>You know how he transforms when he eats an idol? <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, I get more money. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, infinite money, glitch, infinite money. I like it. <v Speaker 1>I could see that. Yeah, I trust him. He's a <v Speaker 1>cute little guy. He sacrificed bestie. We'll go, we'll go, trust. <v Speaker 2>All right. Number nine is a bell that's you'll you <v Speaker 2>go first. <v Speaker 1>She doesn't take money, does she. That's really like a nook. <v Speaker 1>Centric is the Minister of finances. Isabel's like the unspoken mayor. <v Speaker 2>She's not really the mayor, but. <v Speaker 1>Like, yeah, I feel I'm feeling trusting. Trust, I am <v Speaker 1>feeling trusting. I'm just getting good vibes. <v Speaker 3>She would know what to do with it. She would invest. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, well, no, don't take don't do no. No, it <v Speaker 1>is trust, but don't invest my don't do anything with it. <v Speaker 1>Don't take my money. <v Speaker 3>She was locking it in like a safe mass or <v Speaker 3>something in a safe. <v Speaker 1>Bus and like, oh my gosh, welcome back. I want <v Speaker 1>to invest. I will invest. That makes sense. Invest with <v Speaker 1>a credit card, credit. <v Speaker 2>Card yeah, exactly true. I mean, let's unless you had <v Speaker 2>a credit card that didn't have a spending limit on it, <v Speaker 2>some people could just buy a car. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, but you're still gonna put that back on. So <v Speaker 1>how long are you investing? For you doing a short <v Speaker 1>like thirty day investment. I mean people do that for <v Speaker 1>like crypto and stuff. I mean those guys are crazy. No, <v Speaker 1>we're not investing on a credit card. <v Speaker 2>All Rightsdorf. Obviously I could predict your answer, but. <v Speaker 1>Well, hold on, hold on now. He doesn't seem like <v Speaker 1>a guy that wants for physical money. He wants power. <v Speaker 1>He wants he wants he just wants her power. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>he literally just wants power. Yes, I don't think he's <v Speaker 1>I think if I gave him my credit card, he <v Speaker 1>would honestly just throw it away. <v Speaker 2>He wouldn't use it. <v Speaker 1>He wouldn't use it. I think he'd probably lose it. <v Speaker 1>He might even kill me, because he might just stab <v Speaker 1>me and be done with it. So my credit card, <v Speaker 1>I mean, well, you're gonna like walk into a walk <v Speaker 1>into a hobby lobby and see gannon off shopping for <v Speaker 1>some bits and bobs. <v Speaker 2>What if he's like, I need to borrow some cash <v Speaker 2>he's stuck in this world. <v Speaker 1>You know, his he takes, He just takes. <v Speaker 2>He's in his world. He doesn't have his powers, you know, <v Speaker 2>so he has to live. Yeah, because he's in he's <v Speaker 2>in our universe. <v Speaker 1>He had to get nine to five. You think, No, <v Speaker 1>he would. <v Speaker 2>He doesn't want to. That's why. <v Speaker 1>That's why that makes sense. I'm doing it as Gannon <v Speaker 1>being Gannon. You know what I'm gonna give you, whacky. <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna trust this. <v Speaker 2>Guy, trust it. Yeah, you know he's referred to and <v Speaker 2>oh it's he is the king of thieves. <v Speaker 3>That's right. <v Speaker 1>What does he steal? <v Speaker 2>There? <v Speaker 1>He still he steals kingdoms? <v Speaker 3>Yeah, true, maybe like swords possibly, No, they have a <v Speaker 3>sword collection. <v Speaker 2>He could have taken links Coo curious sword when he <v Speaker 2>ran at the bridge of high Ryal Castle. <v Speaker 1>Horses that he has a giant No, I'm trusting trusting him. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>he's a good guy, all right. So he's a homie. <v Speaker 1>He's one of those guys that like if your friends. <v Speaker 1>He's chill. <v Speaker 2>So you got the Zelda squad that you trust all <v Speaker 2>of them. One animal crossing, yeah, and. <v Speaker 1>Then Luigi and well animal crossing. I split between Mario. <v Speaker 1>I split between kind of. I haven't ye, now, I'm true. <v Speaker 3>You didn't put Mario on there? <v Speaker 2>Why you know, we'll say Mario for a different game show. <v Speaker 2>Yeah makes sense. <v Speaker 1>Okay, cool, I feel good about that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, this is a good list. I mean, I'm surprised <v Speaker 2>about the Gannon aspect. <v Speaker 1>But no, he's good. He's good people. Thank you for that. Beautiful. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>he wouldn't care that. Someone in chat said he wouldn't care. <v Speaker 1>He wouldn't care at all. All right, do we have <v Speaker 1>any super chats that came in. <v Speaker 3>Story two after? Like real quick after? Okay, we used <v Speaker 3>to oh, well the story fog got the game? <v Speaker 1>You can is there? What's actually a story? <v Speaker 3>Yeah, already told solely but so uh in the recent <v Speaker 3>Donkey Kong news right shout out to Donkey Kong Country <v Speaker 3>returns HD. <v Speaker 1>But uh can you see that? <v Speaker 3>Yeah, there we go the mikes and the way. I <v Speaker 3>just happened to stop by game Stop and just peruse <v Speaker 3>what they had for retro games, and it was literally <v Speaker 3>just one small box at game Stop. I just had <v Speaker 3>a couple like GameCube stuff, which, by the way, they <v Speaker 3>had fire and bloom Path radiance in completing box looks <v Speaker 3>great listed for one seventy. <v Speaker 1>Okay, that sounds about right. Yeah, that sounds like the <v Speaker 1>reason why three of my game stops just closed down <v Speaker 1>and now I don't have a game stop pretty much. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, So I said, no way, no shot, I'm gonna <v Speaker 3>put that back in the box. So he brought this <v Speaker 3>out just because I had it for fifteen dollars, but <v Speaker 3>because I forgot and emphasis one forgot. I forgot. I'm <v Speaker 3>a pro member and I had points, so I got <v Speaker 3>this for free. Hell yeah, so shouted Donkey Kong. <v Speaker 2>The first time owning the game. <v Speaker 1>Now, I actually had this before, but I think I <v Speaker 1>sold it, so I'll have it again. So cool, that's <v Speaker 1>what it is. Okay, how about them super chats? <v Speaker 2>What we got? All right? So we got a first <v Speaker 2>super chat from Zesesif one to one. Thanks for the <v Speaker 2>ten bucks, Zessif appreciate it. He says. Metro Prime four <v Speaker 2>is the is the best Zelda game ever created, hands down. <v Speaker 2>Metro Prime four is the Zelder. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, a lot of people were a lot of people <v Speaker 1>were calling it a Zelda because the dungeons they felt <v Speaker 1>like Zelda dungeons because they were like kind of linear <v Speaker 1>through and then at the end you get like an item. <v Speaker 2>Yes, and then they also had the shrines technically they're <v Speaker 2>like shrines. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, they had like shrine adjacent things. <v Speaker 2>Yeah yeah, yeah, okay.
