BIGFOOT ABDUCTED THE NEW BORN CALF | THE MARK TWAIN NATIONAL FOREST (TEXAS COUNTY MISSOURI)
In this video, Thomas from Texas County Missouri talks about the Bigfoot encounter he had many years ago at a farm bordering "The Mark Twain National Forest." Thomas claims a Bigfoot stole a baby calf from the farm and he knows without a shadow of a doubt it was a sasquatch responsible for the calf's disappearance. Have you had a bigfoot encounter before? <v Speaker 1>Hey everyone, and welcome to the Sasquatch Theory Podcast. On <v Speaker 1>this episode, we have Thomas from Texas County, Missouri, and <v Speaker 1>he had a bigfoot encounter in the Mark Twain National <v Speaker 1>Forest many years ago. The Big Piney River runs through <v Speaker 1>this area of the Mark Twain National Forest and there <v Speaker 1>is an army base called Fort leonard Wood that is <v Speaker 1>out there kind of in the middle of nowhere. Thomas <v Speaker 1>and his friend were looking for a newborn calf that <v Speaker 1>day and as a cattle farmer, your job is to <v Speaker 1>watch over the herd to ensure their safety. John ten <v Speaker 1>fifteen says, I am the good shepherd and I laid <v Speaker 1>down my life for the sheep. I believe that verse <v Speaker 1>goes hand in hand with life and also a man's <v Speaker 1>duty on the farm. Thomas and his friend encountered a <v Speaker 1>strange creature on the farm while looking for the calf, <v Speaker 1>and they were both very stunned and shaken up by <v Speaker 1>what they seen that day. Right at dusk, interviewed many <v Speaker 1>people and talk to them behind the scenes from this <v Speaker 1>section of the Mark Twain National Forest and a lot <v Speaker 1>of them have had strange encounters in this area. I <v Speaker 1>did research in the past where many people have claimed <v Speaker 1>to see these creatures, and I was astonished by the <v Speaker 1>amount of missing people in the area. Are cryptid creatures <v Speaker 1>responsible for a small number of these unresolved disappearances, as <v Speaker 1>there are many people that have never been found again. <v Speaker 1>You would think with so many people that go missing, <v Speaker 1>that it would be possible to at least find a <v Speaker 1>trace of their belongings or the missing bodies. If their <v Speaker 1>bodies are stationary and laying out there somewhere, how much <v Speaker 1>harder would it be to find the creatures that are <v Speaker 1>alive and moving throughout the forest. Thomas stated that he <v Speaker 1>is sure that what he seen that fall night was <v Speaker 1>no man or no creature in the area, and claims <v Speaker 1>the farm the incident took place in butts up to <v Speaker 1>the Mark Twain National Forest. All right, everyone, With all <v Speaker 1>that being said, let's dive into our next bigfoot encounter <v Speaker 1>from the show me state of Missouri. All right, Thomas, <v Speaker 1>welcome to Sasquatch Theory. How are you doing today? <v Speaker 2>Very well? <v Speaker 1>Thanks, yeah, Thomas, it's a pleasure to have you on <v Speaker 1>the show. If you would tell me a little bit <v Speaker 1>about yourself, kind of where you're from and your Bigfoot <v Speaker 1>encounters and experiences from the very beginning. <v Speaker 2>Please, Well, I grew up in Texas County, Missouri, in <v Speaker 2>south central Missouri, and I was fortunate to live on <v Speaker 2>a small farm down there growing up. Great place to <v Speaker 2>grow up, and the property that we lived on bordered <v Speaker 2>the Mark Twain National Forest on three sides, and so <v Speaker 2>you could literally walk out our back door and walk <v Speaker 2>for seven or eight miles and have nothing but Mark <v Speaker 2>Twain National Forest. There was no way to tell when <v Speaker 2>our property ended and the Mark Twain Forest began. It <v Speaker 2>was we were just actually connected to it. And so, <v Speaker 2>you know, a great place to grow up down there. <v Speaker 2>The woods were kind of our playground and the one <v Speaker 2>thing that we learned early on in the woods is <v Speaker 2>you don't go out in the woods without a gun, <v Speaker 2>and we had a lot of different threats in the woods. <v Speaker 2>Probably the biggest threat we had were packs of wild dogs. <v Speaker 2>And you could hear those wild dogs barking. You could <v Speaker 2>hear them through the hallers. You never really knew how <v Speaker 2>close they were, but there was a few occasions where <v Speaker 2>you would hear those wild dogs and it sounded like <v Speaker 2>they were way far away, and the next thing you know, <v Speaker 2>they were right on you. And so over the years <v Speaker 2>we had a few incidents where we actually shot a <v Speaker 2>few of them. And typically if they came to you, <v Speaker 2>they were going to attack you if they got you somewhere, <v Speaker 2>so you would shoot, sometimes kill one or two or <v Speaker 2>three of them, and as soon as you did that, <v Speaker 2>the rest would take off. I'm assuming those wild dogs <v Speaker 2>were strays that were just thrown out. Every once in <v Speaker 2>a while you'd find a stray dog. You know, we <v Speaker 2>lived on a gravel road, and so I'm assuming those <v Speaker 2>dogs ran in packs through those woods, and so they <v Speaker 2>were always a threat you had to be aware of. <v Speaker 2>And the other thing that there were mountain lions that <v Speaker 2>I know my brother and I saw one one time <v Speaker 2>very close that we kind of kind of came up <v Speaker 2>on and just it really surprised us. And so there <v Speaker 2>were threats out there you had to be really careful of. <v Speaker 2>But my encounter, this was back in the eighties. My encounter, <v Speaker 2>we had a couple of cows that we milked twice <v Speaker 2>a day and it was probably late fall, because it <v Speaker 2>got it was when it was getting dark early, it <v Speaker 2>was kind of cool, and we had a cow that <v Speaker 2>was just about ready to give birth to a calf. <v Speaker 2>And on this particular evening, a friend of mine was <v Speaker 2>with me, and the cow wouldn't come to the barn, <v Speaker 2>and so we you know, I realized at that point <v Speaker 2>she was probably having her calf somewhere on the farm <v Speaker 2>where the cows would run, and so we knew we <v Speaker 2>had to get her and the calf to the barn <v Speaker 2>because the wild dogs would get the calf, and so, <v Speaker 2>you know, the calf was an asset you didn't want <v Speaker 2>to lose. So me and my friend we got our <v Speaker 2>got in a pickup truck and we drove. We had <v Speaker 2>to drive through this field to get We had a <v Speaker 2>pond on the property and that's usually where the cows <v Speaker 2>hung out, and so we kind of thought that's where <v Speaker 2>the cow was. But in order to get out there, <v Speaker 2>we had to drive through this big field that we had. <v Speaker 2>So me and my friend were we got in our pickup. <v Speaker 2>I was driving. We kind of were driving through the field. <v Speaker 2>We had to kind of go around the outskirts of <v Speaker 2>this field to get around to where the pond was. <v Speaker 2>And it was dark, not quite dark. It was that <v Speaker 2>time of the evening where things get gets kind of <v Speaker 2>hard to see because it's kind of, you know, late dusk, <v Speaker 2>and so got the headlights on driving through the field. <v Speaker 2>And as we're driving through this field, to our right <v Speaker 2>is the woodline. To our left is the open field, <v Speaker 2>and so we're driving right next to the woodline and <v Speaker 2>kind of in my left peripheral vision, I see something <v Speaker 2>walking across this field and walking on two legs. And <v Speaker 2>I asked my friend, I'm like, do you see that? <v Speaker 2>And he was like, yes, I do. And I'm like, <v Speaker 2>what the heck is that? And I stopped the truck <v Speaker 2>and it walked right in front of us, and it <v Speaker 2>was probably fifty yards in front of us, maybe a <v Speaker 2>little closer, and it got right in front of us <v Speaker 2>and stopped and turned his head and looked right at us, <v Speaker 2>and it was what I would call Bigfoot. I at <v Speaker 2>that point in my life, I had you know, I <v Speaker 2>had no reason to believe there was bigfoot. Of course, <v Speaker 2>we didn't have the internet back then and all the <v Speaker 2>TV channels we have now that talks about it. But <v Speaker 2>this thing looked right at us. And one of the <v Speaker 2>things we noticed right away is tucked under his right <v Speaker 2>arm was a newborn calf. And it stopped, very briefly, <v Speaker 2>looked at us, looked right in the headlights. Now at <v Speaker 2>that point, I was frozen. Now I did have a <v Speaker 2>twelve gate shotgun in the truck with me. It was <v Speaker 2>sitting on the seat, pointed down into the floorboard, sitting <v Speaker 2>between me and my friend. I had absolutely no thought <v Speaker 2>of grabbing that shotgun. I was literally frozen. I was <v Speaker 2>looking at something I had never seen before, and I <v Speaker 2>just didn't know what to do. And so here it is, <v Speaker 2>looking right at us, very briefly turned his head back <v Speaker 2>to the woodline and walked into the woods. Now we <v Speaker 2>had a fence right there on the woodline. It just <v Speaker 2>stepped over the fence like it was no big deal. <v Speaker 2>And as soon as it walked into the woods, I <v Speaker 2>put the truck in reverse, and we were out of <v Speaker 2>there and we got back to the house and I'm <v Speaker 2>just freaking out. I mean, what the heck was that? <v Speaker 2>And I called my grandpa. He lived. He lived a <v Speaker 2>few miles down the road from us. He had a <v Speaker 2>big farm down the road and he was always the <v Speaker 2>go to guy for things like that. And I called <v Speaker 2>him and I'm like, Grandpa, you're not going to believe. <v Speaker 2>And we told them what we saw and he goes, oh, <v Speaker 2>that's momo. I'm like what. He goes, Yeah, the Missouri Monster. <v Speaker 2>He goes, I've never seen it, but I know a <v Speaker 2>lot of people that have, and yeah, he lives out <v Speaker 2>in the woods and make sure you leave him alone. <v Speaker 2>And I'm like, well, he just stole our calf. And <v Speaker 2>he was like, well, you're never going to see that again. <v Speaker 2>It's gone. And so he was like, where's your cow. <v Speaker 2>We're like, well, she's still out somewhere on the farm. <v Speaker 2>He goes, You've got to go get her and get <v Speaker 2>her in the barn, and so that's what we did. <v Speaker 2>We at that point walked out there and found the <v Speaker 2>cow and got her back to the bar and of <v Speaker 2>course she had just had the calf. The afterbirth was <v Speaker 2>on the ground. The calf is gone, never to be <v Speaker 2>seen again, and we got her back in the barn <v Speaker 2>where she could be safe. You know, she's at a <v Speaker 2>very vulnerable time at that point. So now never saw <v Speaker 2>anything like that again. It was that one time, but I, <v Speaker 2>you know, I behind a shadow of a doubt, that's <v Speaker 2>what it was. It had a kind of a face, <v Speaker 2>like a like a man, but Harry Olliver, his body <v Speaker 2>kind of a grayish brown color, and it was big. <v Speaker 2>I honestly can't tell you how tall he was. I'm <v Speaker 2>going to say at least seven feet tall. I know <v Speaker 2>he stepped over the fence like it almost wasn't there, <v Speaker 2>just to quick hop over the fence. And you're looking <v Speaker 2>at a newborn calf, you know, thirty to forty pounds, <v Speaker 2>you know, which are easy to pick up. We would <v Speaker 2>pick up a calf with two arms, you know, one <v Speaker 2>arm around its neck, one arm around the back of <v Speaker 2>its butt, pick it up. Well, he had it under <v Speaker 2>one arm, holding it just under one arm, and that <v Speaker 2>calf looked very small in his arms. And so yeah, <v Speaker 2>that was my experience. <v Speaker 1>All right, Thomas. I appreciate you for sharing that. How <v Speaker 1>far away was this creature? <v Speaker 2>How far was he from us? I would say the <v Speaker 2>furthest away was fifty yards, you know, half a football <v Speaker 2>field is what I would guess. Maybe a little bit closer, <v Speaker 2>but very clear line of sight between us and him. <v Speaker 2>And he seemed very surprised that he's got these headlights <v Speaker 2>staring at him. But yeah, I would say fifty yards <v Speaker 2>at the most. <v Speaker 1>Okay, so that was pretty close. And what time of <v Speaker 1>year was this? <v Speaker 2>This was fall. I'm gonna say October November. And the <v Speaker 2>reason I know that is because it was you know, <v Speaker 2>it was probably around five o'clock, maybe a little later, <v Speaker 2>but it was already just about dark, and I remember <v Speaker 2>it being kind of cool. <v Speaker 1>Okay, So it seemed like the creature was moving right <v Speaker 1>at dusk. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, okay. <v Speaker 1>And you estimate the creature to be about seven feet tall. <v Speaker 1>My guess is it was probably taller than that, because <v Speaker 1>we don't have a reference for these creatures and we're <v Speaker 1>not used to seeing something that tall, especially when it's <v Speaker 1>at a distance. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. Yeah, And at the time, you know, like I said, <v Speaker 2>I I had never thought about Bigfoot, so I had <v Speaker 2>no reference point in my mind, and to be honest <v Speaker 2>with you, I wasn't really thinking about how tall he was. <v Speaker 2>I was just he was big, and I had no <v Speaker 2>idea what it was. So because of that, I'm scared <v Speaker 2>out of my mind. And you know, is he going <v Speaker 2>to come toward us? Like, if he comes toward us, <v Speaker 2>what am I supposed to do at this point? This <v Speaker 2>is a new thing that I had no experience with <v Speaker 2>at all and have no idea how to handle. So, <v Speaker 2>I you know, other than him being big, I wasn't <v Speaker 2>really paying a lot of attention to details at that point. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that is interesting. And do you think the creature <v Speaker 1>came up to the barn and took the calf or <v Speaker 1>did it happen out in the field. <v Speaker 2>It happened, Well, it was definitely from the field because <v Speaker 2>we hadn't we hadn't gotten the calf to the barn yet. <v Speaker 2>I mean, we were going out to get the calf <v Speaker 2>to bring to the barn, and at that point we <v Speaker 2>didn't even know for sure if the cow had had <v Speaker 2>the calf. You know, we were assuming that was what <v Speaker 2>was going on, and that's why she didn't come to <v Speaker 2>the barn. You know, the cows are creatures of habit <v Speaker 2>and so you fed them in the barn twice a day. <v Speaker 2>You know, that's where when they got grain, they would <v Speaker 2>come to the barn and eat grained while they while <v Speaker 2>you milked them. But even if they weren't being milked, <v Speaker 2>which this cow wasn't because she was she was almost <v Speaker 2>ready to calf, so we weren't milking her, but she <v Speaker 2>still came to the barn twice a day to get grain. <v Speaker 2>And so all you had to do typically when you <v Speaker 2>went to the barn, the cows were already there waiting <v Speaker 2>for you because they knew it was that time of day. <v Speaker 2>But if they weren't, you would just call and they <v Speaker 2>would come running because they knew it was time to eat. <v Speaker 2>And so because she didn't come to the barn but <v Speaker 2>the other cow did, we assumed she was having the calf. <v Speaker 2>So you know the thing was we got to go <v Speaker 2>find her, and if she had the calf, we have <v Speaker 2>to get the calf to the barn because the calf <v Speaker 2>is of course vulnerable, and with those packs of wild dogs, <v Speaker 2>you have to get them in. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely, And how are the cattle reacting to the situation? <v Speaker 2>Well, when so the cattle, they weren't anywhere near because <v Speaker 2>the cows weren't in the field where we were where <v Speaker 2>we had the encounter, So I didn't see any cows <v Speaker 2>with that, you know, near where we were, so I <v Speaker 2>can't really answer that. Earlier, I'm going to assume the <v Speaker 2>cow that had the calf was there when this creature <v Speaker 2>took the calf from her. But you know our cows, <v Speaker 2>they were very docile, and I'm sure that you know <v Speaker 2>I could walk up and pick the calf up and <v Speaker 2>walk the calf to the barn. The cow would have <v Speaker 2>followed me. But the cow wasn't following the creature that <v Speaker 2>took the calf, So I had never thought about that. <v Speaker 2>But yeah, if I would have picked the calf up <v Speaker 2>and walked her to the barn, then the cow would <v Speaker 2>have followed me, But obviously that's not what the cow <v Speaker 2>did with when this creature took the calf. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely, and this confirms that sasquatch will take cattle. <v Speaker 1>And one of my past guests, his name's David, and <v Speaker 1>we did a documentary called The Killing Fields. He still <v Speaker 1>claims to this day that he has calves go missing, <v Speaker 1>and I'm sure he speculates that possibly it's the cryptids <v Speaker 1>taking them. So yeah, it's good to finally speak with <v Speaker 1>somebody who confirms that these creatures do take cattle. <v Speaker 2>Well, I'm glad to hear that somebody else has has <v Speaker 2>had cattle go missing, because I had never heard of <v Speaker 2>that happening anywhere else. So so yeah, I'm glad to <v Speaker 2>hear that, you know, and of course it's not confirmed <v Speaker 2>with that person, but it makes me feel a little <v Speaker 2>better knowing that it's it probably has happened before. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely, this is the first time I've spoken with <v Speaker 1>somebody who confirmed that. And I've spoken to multiple farmers <v Speaker 1>who have either seen these creatures or experience the activity <v Speaker 1>that claim they have calves go missing and just cattle <v Speaker 1>in general. But I wonder if the sasquatch will eat dogs, <v Speaker 1>because there's a lot of reports. I've even had reports <v Speaker 1>where a farmer claims that the sasquatch for coming up <v Speaker 1>to his property and he actually saw them and they <v Speaker 1>had the dog underneath their arm and they were carrying <v Speaker 1>them off, and he took shots off on the creatures. <v Speaker 1>So with there being wild dogs in the Mark Twain <v Speaker 1>National Forest, I'm sure that's a food source for them. <v Speaker 1>And I've ran into wild dogs before in the Mark <v Speaker 1>Twain and I've just kind of stayed in my vehicle <v Speaker 1>because they didn't seem timid of people. They looked a <v Speaker 1>little rugged and they are really big. For some reason, <v Speaker 1>the wild dogs and the mark Twain get pretty big. <v Speaker 1>And this was in the Viburnum area, like before you <v Speaker 1>get into Viburnum and whenever you're leaving Viburnum going south <v Speaker 1>on I believe it's forty nine. But man, there's a <v Speaker 1>lot of wild dogs out there for some reason. Every <v Speaker 1>time I go out there, I see them and it's <v Speaker 1>just like, how are their dogs out here? I'm so <v Speaker 1>far away from any homes. I'm in the middle of <v Speaker 1>mark Twain forest and they're just running around. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, well, I can attest that they are out there. <v Speaker 2>And you know, now this was years ago. I haven't <v Speaker 2>lived down there for many years. But you know, that <v Speaker 2>was like I said earlier, that was the biggest threat <v Speaker 2>when you were out in the woods was the wild dogs. <v Speaker 2>And like I said, the ones I'm I had experience with. <v Speaker 2>We're always running in packs and so you know a <v Speaker 2>pack of dogs, and every time we saw them, they <v Speaker 2>were just nuts. You know, there was they were on <v Speaker 2>the attack, they were on the prowl, and I'm I <v Speaker 2>know they were always big dogs, but they always looked <v Speaker 2>kind of mangy and skinny, you know, so they were <v Speaker 2>looking for food. And you know, we we learned very young. <v Speaker 2>It was you don't go out there without a gun <v Speaker 2>because of the wild dogs. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, and do you think they will eat people? <v Speaker 2>The dogs? Yeah, I would say yes. I know that. <v Speaker 2>There was at least twice that I killed two or <v Speaker 2>three of them, and that was I think if I <v Speaker 2>wouldn't have done that, they would have definitely attacked and <v Speaker 2>taken me down. So there was one instance where I <v Speaker 2>was out in the woods and we were getting firewood <v Speaker 2>and we heard them. We heard them what we thought <v Speaker 2>was way off in the distance. We had a shotgun <v Speaker 2>in the in the truck, and it sounded like to <v Speaker 2>us they were way off in the distance. Well, next thing, <v Speaker 2>you know, they were right on us. And so I <v Speaker 2>would say, when when we realized how close they were, <v Speaker 2>they were probably a couple hundred yards away, and we <v Speaker 2>couldn't see them yet, but we could hear them, and <v Speaker 2>we knew they were right on us, and so I <v Speaker 2>went and grabbed the shotgun and they got to us, <v Speaker 2>and I just started taking shots, and I put two <v Speaker 2>or three of them down and as soon as they <v Speaker 2>saw what was going on, the rest of them took off. <v Speaker 2>But I think they would have definitely attacked if I <v Speaker 2>wouldn't have shot them. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely, And their diet probably consists of fondeer calfs <v Speaker 1>and turkey things like that. <v Speaker 2>And yeah, whatever they could get a hold of, for sure. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, So it's good to know that these dogs can <v Speaker 1>be pretty vicious. And the next time I go into <v Speaker 1>the Mark Twain Forrest, I'm going to make sure I <v Speaker 1>got something that can put them down, because I've ran <v Speaker 1>into them before and they look like they were up <v Speaker 1>to no good and this is out in the middle <v Speaker 1>of nowhere, and it's pretty strange for a dog to <v Speaker 1>wander that far. And I would notice too. Whenever I do, <v Speaker 1>I would do wood knocks or call out to the <v Speaker 1>sasquatch trying to get a reaction. Dogs would respond. In <v Speaker 1>like the deepest most remote areas, they just start barking, <v Speaker 1>and like you said, they get closer and closer, and <v Speaker 1>I don't know. It's it's good to know because I <v Speaker 1>go out there. Yeah, Okay, Well, I've interviewed guests in <v Speaker 1>the past that have had bigfoot encounters near this area, <v Speaker 1>and I don't know if you want me to say <v Speaker 1>the name of it, but it's a pretty remote area <v Speaker 1>and whenever I looked up missing people in this area, <v Speaker 1>there was a long list of people. Have you ever <v Speaker 1>heard of people going missing in this area of Texas County, Missouri? <v Speaker 2>No, I never have. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that particular campground that we talked about, there's actually <v Speaker 1>a lot of reports in that area, and I think <v Speaker 1>it's just not something that you hear, and I don't know, <v Speaker 1>it's frightening sometimes I wonder if it's a sasquatch that <v Speaker 1>are taking people, and it's hard to say if like <v Speaker 1>they just carry them off, never to be seen again. <v Speaker 2>And the one thing that I'll say about that is, <v Speaker 2>you know, in the years that I grew up down there, <v Speaker 2>you know, like I said earlier, it was way before <v Speaker 2>the internet. News traveled very slow, So there could have <v Speaker 2>been a bunch of missing people that we just never <v Speaker 2>heard about because you know, there just wasn't a way <v Speaker 2>to get that information out quickly. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, and they also don't tell the public. I mean, <v Speaker 1>I'm sure they got a long list, and it's just <v Speaker 1>something that people are not aware of. During this time <v Speaker 1>on the farm, did you ever notice any strange cattle mutilations. <v Speaker 2>Not from us, but we heard about other farmers near <v Speaker 2>us that would have them, and I'm if I'm not mistake, <v Speaker 2>And I had some cousins that had it happen. I <v Speaker 2>know somebody in the family had it happen, but I <v Speaker 2>can't remember who it was exactly. It might have been. <v Speaker 2>It might have even been Grandpa. But I it's just <v Speaker 2>been so long ago, I don't remember. I know, for <v Speaker 2>a while there were some cattle wrestlers, at least that's <v Speaker 2>what everybody thought, there were some cattle wrestlers around the <v Speaker 2>area that would come in and steal cattle. But it's <v Speaker 2>been so it's been so many years ago. I you know, <v Speaker 2>I just don't I just don't know for sure. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's a good point. I've heard of farmers around <v Speaker 1>here saying that people were stealing cattle. I've never thought <v Speaker 1>about Bigfoot taking the cattle. Maybe that's what it could be. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I I yeah, I don't know how that would work. <v Speaker 2>You know, you got a a one thousand pounds or <v Speaker 2>twelve hundred pound cow. I don't know. I don't know <v Speaker 2>how easily they could carry one of those fifth at all, <v Speaker 2>you know, But I guess if they mutilated it and <v Speaker 2>you know, divided it up, they could do it that way. <v Speaker 2>But yeah, I had not heard of anything. Yeah, it's <v Speaker 2>just been too long ago for me to remember exactly it. <v Speaker 2>Just like I said, it seems like there was some <v Speaker 2>cattle mutilation, but I don't remember exactly who it was <v Speaker 2>or it's been so many years ago. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, and did you ever go out into the woods <v Speaker 1>after this encounter to look for any evidence, any sign <v Speaker 1>or the calf, anything like that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, So we spent a lot of time in those woods, <v Speaker 2>and I would say, you know, after this encounter, we <v Speaker 2>were definitely more aware, but I don't think we ever <v Speaker 2>went out specifically looking for evidence of Bigfoot, but we <v Speaker 2>were out there all the time, and we definitely kept <v Speaker 2>our eyes open. The thing that I remember Grandpa telling <v Speaker 2>me was that if you don't if he doesn't want <v Speaker 2>to be seen, if they don't want to be seen, <v Speaker 2>they're not going to be seen, Like they're going to <v Speaker 2>hear you coming way before you ever hear them. And <v Speaker 2>so I don't know if he told me that to <v Speaker 2>kind of get rid of my fear, but you know, <v Speaker 2>live for us was out in the woods, and so <v Speaker 2>there was no question that we were going out in <v Speaker 2>the woods, but you were just a little more careful. <v Speaker 2>And once again, we always had guns, so we weren't <v Speaker 2>ever really scared of anything in the woods because we <v Speaker 2>had guns. We just were always aware of things. But yeah, <v Speaker 2>I don't think we ever went out looking for bigfoot though. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. And did your grandpa know about these creatures? Did <v Speaker 1>he have any encounter stories or any experiences with them? <v Speaker 2>Yeah? What he told us was is that, you know, <v Speaker 2>he called it Momo Missouri monster is what he said <v Speaker 2>we saw, but he had never seen it, but he <v Speaker 2>knew people that had seen it, and so he was <v Speaker 2>just very matter of fact. When we called him, was like, hey, <v Speaker 2>this is what we saw, and he was like, oh yeah, <v Speaker 2>I was Momo you know. And I was like, what <v Speaker 2>what are you talking about. He was like, well, that's <v Speaker 2>a Missouri monster. But he said he had never seen it, <v Speaker 2>but he knew plenty of people that had seen it. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>So yeah, for him, it was like, no big deal. Oh, okay, <v Speaker 2>that's what you saw. Yeah I know about that. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. There's a lot of locals in the area that <v Speaker 1>have had encounters and experiences and there's just a lot <v Speaker 1>of reports that come out of that area from the <v Speaker 1>Big Piney River, and yeah, it's strange just because these <v Speaker 1>things can hide so well, and most people that live <v Speaker 1>out there and have lived out there their whole lives, <v Speaker 1>have never experienced anything. And then you have people next <v Speaker 1>door or people that go there for the first time <v Speaker 1>that have an encounter. <v Speaker 2>Well, you know, literally miles and miles and miles of forest. <v Speaker 2>So it makes sense to me that creatures like that <v Speaker 2>would live out there. I mean, first of all, they <v Speaker 2>could easily stay hidden. Second of all, there's plenty of <v Speaker 2>resources for them to live off the land out there. <v Speaker 2>And it's you know, it's just so vast it's and <v Speaker 2>people don't understand how vast it is. You know, years ago, <v Speaker 2>I was living in Kansas City and I took a <v Speaker 2>buddy of mine down to where I grew up and <v Speaker 2>he spent his whole life in Kansas City, and he <v Speaker 2>just had no idea. And I told him, I tried <v Speaker 2>to explain to him what the mark Tway National Forest was, <v Speaker 2>and he just had no clue until I took him <v Speaker 2>down there and showed him, and it really blew his mind, <v Speaker 2>you know, that it was so vast, and I still <v Speaker 2>don't think to this day he understands how vast it is. <v Speaker 2>But you know, there was all kinds of resources out there. <v Speaker 2>You could live on for forever if you knew what <v Speaker 2>you were doing. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely, And the animals out there get really big. <v Speaker 1>There's a lot of black bear out there. They get <v Speaker 1>fairly good size for Missouri. And the whitetail bucks man <v Speaker 1>they get huge out there. Their genetics are just out <v Speaker 1>of this world. And yeah, you could go out there <v Speaker 1>and hunt your whole life and probably never put one down. <v Speaker 1>But you know they're out there because of the trail <v Speaker 1>cameras and the sign that you see. But like you said, <v Speaker 1>there's so much woods that the chances of you coming <v Speaker 1>across you know, like a two hundred inch deer pretty slim, <v Speaker 1>even though you know they're out there. And a lot <v Speaker 1>of people claim, I've never seen a sasquatch. I've lived <v Speaker 1>out there my whole life. But even with white tails, like, <v Speaker 1>how often do you come across the two hundred plus <v Speaker 1>inch deer, even if you get them on your camera, <v Speaker 1>you may never see that creature. Or if you know <v Speaker 1>there's mountain lions out there, you may never see one. <v Speaker 1>They're out there, but you know the chances of seeing <v Speaker 1>one are pretty slim. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, And I don't know if this is still the case, <v Speaker 2>but I remember growing up, we used to hear that <v Speaker 2>Texas County it had the most deer killed during deer season. <v Speaker 2>Now that was in the eighties. Now, I don't know <v Speaker 2>if that's still the case today, But back in those days, <v Speaker 2>that's what that's what we were told. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I can see that. And what do you think <v Speaker 1>these creatures are? <v Speaker 2>Well, you know, the only thing I can say is, <v Speaker 2>you know, is what I saw had to be bigfoot. <v Speaker 2>There's no other explanation for it. I you know, I <v Speaker 2>have no idea what bigfoot is. It's an ape like creature, <v Speaker 2>of course, we all know that, but man, I just <v Speaker 2>have no idea. I heard somebody say it's been a <v Speaker 2>few years ago, and I don't remember exactly where I <v Speaker 2>heard it, but I heard somebody say that if the <v Speaker 2>government ever decided to study this creature, they'd have to, <v Speaker 2>you know, they would and make it endangered or I <v Speaker 2>can't remember the category before they make it endangered, but <v Speaker 2>there's a category before that. But they would have to <v Speaker 2>close down a lot of land and close it off <v Speaker 2>from people. And that's probably why that would never happen, <v Speaker 2>so the government would never officially study what these are <v Speaker 2>because it would just disrupt so much of the country. <v Speaker 2>That sounded like a plausible explanation to me. So that's <v Speaker 2>kind of why it's just left alone. But you know, <v Speaker 2>I totally believe that there's something out there that we <v Speaker 2>don't know exactly what it is. But they live on <v Speaker 2>their own, they're you know, they're independent. They probably live <v Speaker 2>in families, and you know, they take care of themselves, <v Speaker 2>and they do a really good job of staying hidden <v Speaker 2>from the rest of us. What they are beyond that, <v Speaker 2>I have no idea. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's a great answer. And whenever you had this encounter, <v Speaker 1>did you feel anything unusual, like a pressure feeling, or <v Speaker 1>like things got quieter anything. <v Speaker 2>No, No, I can't say that. Yeah, nothing out of <v Speaker 2>the ordinary except just the what we saw visually. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. And if we contacted your friend, would he tell <v Speaker 1>us the same exact encounter story. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. And you know, I spoke to him recently about this, <v Speaker 2>and uh, and he remembers it the same way I do, <v Speaker 2>but he's he's not ready to talk about it openly. <v Speaker 2>He was like, yeah, I think I'm just gonna leave <v Speaker 2>that alone. I still don't know what I saw, but <v Speaker 2>he doesn't want to talk about it openly. He doesn't <v Speaker 2>want people to think he's nuts or anything. So, but <v Speaker 2>he remembers it the same way I do for sure. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely. Do you think he would talk to me <v Speaker 1>about it? <v Speaker 2>No? I don't think so. <v Speaker 1>Okay, has he had any other strange experiences out there? <v Speaker 1>You said he still lives in the area. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, not No, not that he's told me about. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's interesting. And did this creature have long, shaggy <v Speaker 1>hair or was it pretty short? <v Speaker 2>It wasn't super long. I mean, it covered his whole body, <v Speaker 2>but it wasn't like hanging off of him like long hair, <v Speaker 2>you know, I would say it was I'd say it <v Speaker 2>was shorter. But it definitely covered his whole body from <v Speaker 2>what the parts I could see, it was definitely covering <v Speaker 2>his whole body. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. And what did you notice about this creature whenever <v Speaker 1>it was walking? Did you notice anything unusual about its stride? <v Speaker 1>Was it hunched over? <v Speaker 2>No? It stood straight up. It wasn't hunched over at all, <v Speaker 2>you know it It walked like a man and had <v Speaker 2>his arm kind of tucked. His right arm is where <v Speaker 2>the calf was kind of tucked under. He kind of <v Speaker 2>you know, his arm was bent and kind of like <v Speaker 2>you carry a football, you know, kind of brought back <v Speaker 2>to his body, but the calf was obviously sitting there, <v Speaker 2>and you know it was he made the calf look <v Speaker 2>very small, you know, but it did everything like a <v Speaker 2>man would do, just a much bigger man, and definitely <v Speaker 2>walked like a man. It was definitely bipedal, but yeah, <v Speaker 2>it didn't. There was no nothing strange other than it <v Speaker 2>was not a person, but it walked just like a <v Speaker 2>person would. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, and was this calf already dead whenever the creature <v Speaker 1>had it or did you notice it struggling? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I don't know. I honestly don't know. I the <v Speaker 2>calf was not looking toward us. So the way it <v Speaker 2>was being held was the head was to the left, <v Speaker 2>and so because we were because we were looking to <v Speaker 2>the right side of the creature, kind of the calves <v Speaker 2>butt was pointed toward us and the head was was <v Speaker 2>closer to the body of the creature. But I honestly <v Speaker 2>don't know if the calf was alive or dead. Couldn't <v Speaker 2>tell that. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that is interesting. I wonder if the creature snagged <v Speaker 1>up the calf whenever the mom gave birth to it, <v Speaker 1>maybe like the calf was already dead, but I'm thinking <v Speaker 1>it just came in and took the calf. But yeah, <v Speaker 1>veal is on the menu for them. It makes sense. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, definitely. You know the cow, like I said, <v Speaker 2>the cows that we had were very docile, you know, <v Speaker 2>they were milk cows, not not aggressive in any way. <v Speaker 2>The cows that we had, so you could walk right <v Speaker 2>up to them out in the field, you know, they <v Speaker 2>wouldn't they wouldn't do anything. They wouldn't hurt you at all. <v Speaker 2>So if some if somebody else would have walked up <v Speaker 2>and taken the calf from her, I mean she wouldn't <v Speaker 2>have done anything. So very easy pickings. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that makes sense. And do this creature have a <v Speaker 1>round head or a conical shaped head? <v Speaker 2>That's a good question. And I can't really answer that <v Speaker 2>because I wasn't paying that close of attention to the details. <v Speaker 2>The only thing I was, you know, I was focused on, <v Speaker 2>is this thing coming towards us? It was it stopped <v Speaker 2>and looked at us, and my thought was what am <v Speaker 2>I going to do if it if it starts walking <v Speaker 2>toward us? And that was really the only thing I <v Speaker 2>was focused on, and I was very relieved when it <v Speaker 2>didn't it. It's once it got done looking at us, <v Speaker 2>it just walked off into the woods and then we're <v Speaker 2>we got we got out of there. And so, yeah, <v Speaker 2>that that's a detail I can't really answer. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. So could you see its eyes though? Do you remember? <v Speaker 2>Oh? Yeah, it looked right at us. It looked right <v Speaker 2>at us. <v Speaker 1>What did the eyes look like? Do you remember? <v Speaker 2>I remember they were wide set, and you know, he <v Speaker 2>was looking right into our headlights. So I have no <v Speaker 2>idea if he could see us and if he could <v Speaker 2>tell that there were people sitting in this vehicle. But yeah, <v Speaker 2>as far as what the eyes look like, other than <v Speaker 2>they were just big and wide set, that's really all <v Speaker 2>I remember from that. <v Speaker 1>Did the eyes glow whenever the headlights hit its face? <v Speaker 2>I don't remember that they did. <v Speaker 1>Okay, yeah, that's fair enough. And whenever the creature stepped <v Speaker 1>over the fence. About how high up was this fence? <v Speaker 2>Probably the fence was probably four three and a half <v Speaker 2>to four feet high, I would guess, And I remember <v Speaker 2>it taking its left hand on the top wire and <v Speaker 2>pushing it down and then stepping over. But you know, <v Speaker 2>that's not something that that I could do. Now. I'd <v Speaker 2>have to actually climb up on the fence and get <v Speaker 2>over it, you know. But this thing just took one <v Speaker 2>you know, pushed the wire down a little took a <v Speaker 2>step over, and was was gone in the woods. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely. I think even someone who is like six <v Speaker 1>and a half seven feet tall would still not be <v Speaker 1>able just to walk over a fence, even if they <v Speaker 1>pushed it down a little bit. <v Speaker 2>What do you think, Yeah, yeah, that's that's probably fair. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>this thing was big, so it and to do that <v Speaker 2>with you know, holding the calf, I guess you could <v Speaker 2>say it was probably pretty athletic at the same time. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>you know, the fence, the fence wasn't a challenge at <v Speaker 2>all for this, for this thing. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. And the color of the creature you said it <v Speaker 1>was like a grayish brown colored. Was it mixed, like <v Speaker 1>I half gray and brown or just the same color <v Speaker 1>all throughout the creature? <v Speaker 2>It was the same color. Yeah. And because of the <v Speaker 2>because of the dusk, and because you know, we were <v Speaker 2>looking at it with headlights. You know, I might be <v Speaker 2>off in the color a little bit, but what I <v Speaker 2>remember is kind of a brownish I always say brownish gray, <v Speaker 2>but I would say it was more brown, but it <v Speaker 2>was kind of a light brown color, almost bordering on gray. <v Speaker 1>Okay, I appreciate you for sharing that. And you know <v Speaker 1>what they say, if you see one bigfoot, there's most <v Speaker 1>likely more around in the area. So the creature probably <v Speaker 1>took the calf and was heading to the rest of <v Speaker 1>the group, and they probably tore it apart and shared <v Speaker 1>it amongst each other. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I'm sure. So. <v Speaker 1>Whenever you've been out there hunting in the mark Twain Forrest, <v Speaker 1>have you ever noticed anything strange as far as like <v Speaker 1>wood knocks being followed out of the woods, hearing like <v Speaker 1>strange thump sounds anything. No. <v Speaker 2>I can't ever remember any wood knocks. Now, you know, <v Speaker 2>we never really paid attention to that. The first I <v Speaker 2>ever heard of the wood knox is watching these big <v Speaker 2>foot shows over the years that have been on. The <v Speaker 2>One thing I do remember are screams, and we always <v Speaker 2>thought those were mountain lions. I don't know if they <v Speaker 2>were something else. They could have been bigfoot, I guess, <v Speaker 2>but we would hear those quite often. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that is interesting. Have you ever noticed the gates <v Speaker 1>being closed in the mark Twain National Forests? Like for <v Speaker 1>some reason, they just don't want anyone in there. <v Speaker 2>Well, at the time that I lived there, you know, <v Speaker 2>there were no gates on anything. The mark Twain Forst <v Speaker 2>was open. Now. I shortly after I left the area, <v Speaker 2>they built a road into the woods not far from <v Speaker 2>where we lived, and they gated that, and that was <v Speaker 2>the first time we'd ever seen a gate go up. <v Speaker 2>But there were other we call them log roads. There <v Speaker 2>were other roads into the forests that never were gated. <v Speaker 2>When I lived there, it was free reiin. You could <v Speaker 2>go back there, and people did. During deer season. We <v Speaker 2>had to be very careful because people we didn't have <v Speaker 2>our property fenced other than the field, but we didn't <v Speaker 2>have our property our property line fenced, and so there <v Speaker 2>were times over the years that hunters would would be <v Speaker 2>on our land hunting, and so during deer season we <v Speaker 2>had to be really careful when we went in the woods. <v Speaker 2>We had to always be aware of hunters because you know, <v Speaker 2>these are probably guys from the city that didn't have <v Speaker 2>a lot of experience in the woods and so didn't <v Speaker 2>know exactly where they were, and so you could get <v Speaker 2>in trouble real easily. You'd hear about people taking shots <v Speaker 2>at other people, thinking it was a deer or something. <v Speaker 2>But I know during deer season there were people out there, <v Speaker 2>and so we kind of avoided the woods during those times, <v Speaker 2>but it was all open if you had if you <v Speaker 2>could walk in there, you could or drive you could <v Speaker 2>get in there, no problem. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, thank you for sharing that. And what do you <v Speaker 1>think about people going out into the woods and interacting <v Speaker 1>with the sasquatch, leaving them gifts, calling them for his friends. <v Speaker 1>Do you think that's dangerous? <v Speaker 2>I would say no. You know, I've seen on a <v Speaker 2>lot of programs that about Bigfoot. I would say one <v Speaker 2>of the best ones I've seen is Survivor Man did <v Speaker 2>a big Foot series and he did some of that, <v Speaker 2>and you know, it seems to me from every thing <v Speaker 2>I've seen, is that the creatures are not out there. <v Speaker 2>They're not going to hurt anyone. They're not going to <v Speaker 2>cause any problems with people. So I think if people <v Speaker 2>want to do that, I think that's great. But I <v Speaker 2>would still not be out there myself without a gun, <v Speaker 2>just because of other possible threats that are out there. <v Speaker 2>But I don't think Bigfoot's a threat. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely, And you just never know what these creatures <v Speaker 1>true intentions are. And like you said, out there in <v Speaker 1>the Mark Twain Forest, it's dangerous. You could run across <v Speaker 1>a group of like meth heads, like they have a <v Speaker 1>meth lab out there. You could get caught in someone's trap, <v Speaker 1>you could accidentally get shot because you weren't wearing orange, <v Speaker 1>or just because someone thought you were just some animal <v Speaker 1>or wild dog. And yeah, there's a lot of dangers <v Speaker 1>out there as far as like running into a mountain lion, <v Speaker 1>a black bear, or just like a territorial sasquatch. You <v Speaker 1>just never really know. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, you know, if you corner anything in the wrong place, <v Speaker 2>they're going to be a threat, of course. And you know, <v Speaker 2>when I live down there growing up, we never had <v Speaker 2>to worry about meth heads. I guess that would definitely <v Speaker 2>be a threat these days, for sure. And as as <v Speaker 2>vast as it is, there's definitely some spots you could <v Speaker 2>go that people could go and do that and probably <v Speaker 2>never be caught. But yeah, if you just if you're <v Speaker 2>walking through the woods and walked up on that, yeah, <v Speaker 2>that would be very dangerous for sure. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely. I was warned by some property owners that <v Speaker 1>live in the Mark twenty National Forest and they said <v Speaker 1>be careful where you go because there's meth labs out <v Speaker 1>there and people are very territorial about that, and they'll <v Speaker 1>leave like booby traps, and if they catch you like, <v Speaker 1>they won't let you leave. <v Speaker 2>Interesting. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, you just never know. <v Speaker 2>That's a good reason to be careful for sure. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely, This is kind of an off the wall question. <v Speaker 1>But I noticed in an area in Texas County, I <v Speaker 1>think the town was called Licking, there used to be this, <v Speaker 1>like it looks like an old church, an old abandoned <v Speaker 1>church off the highway. And one of my buddies that <v Speaker 1>had an encounter towards Edgar Springs, he said that they <v Speaker 1>used to do devil worship there and there was a cult, <v Speaker 1>and I guess the government ran them out years ago. <v Speaker 1>But have you ever heard of anything like that going <v Speaker 1>on in the woods, like people going out there with <v Speaker 1>like lanterns and like doing worshiping, like Satan worshiping, anything <v Speaker 1>strange like that. <v Speaker 2>You know. I remember hearing stories about that growing up. <v Speaker 2>I never knew where it was going on, and I <v Speaker 2>never personally experienced anything like that, but I do remember <v Speaker 2>just hearing stories about it, that there were devil worshippers <v Speaker 2>that would go out in the woods. But yeah, nothing <v Speaker 2>I ever experienced a person or came across anything that <v Speaker 2>I thought that maybe could have been used for that. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that is interesting, And I wouldn't want to run <v Speaker 1>across a clan of people like that or a cult, <v Speaker 1>whatever you want to call them. Seems like they'd be <v Speaker 1>up to no good. <v Speaker 2>Absolutely. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, And there's been a lot of encounters reported to <v Speaker 1>sasquatch theory in the past throughout Texas County. And I <v Speaker 1>mean some of the towns I mean, i'll name them <v Speaker 1>off is like Edgar Springs, Licking, Raymondville, and all south <v Speaker 1>of that. But if you think, like, oh, now I <v Speaker 1>know where these things are at, I can go there <v Speaker 1>and look, when you get in that area, like you <v Speaker 1>mentioned before, there's just so much woods. It's so vast <v Speaker 1>that you're just a small grain of sand in the <v Speaker 1>ocean compared to the forest out there. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, and all those areas you mentioned not super close <v Speaker 2>sore I grew up, but I'm very familiar with all <v Speaker 2>those areas, and I can tell you that, you know, <v Speaker 2>if you're the area where I grew up, you could <v Speaker 2>get to any of those areas walking through the forest <v Speaker 2>and maybe crossing a few roads when you came to them. <v Speaker 2>You know, they're all interconnected through the Mark Twain National Forest. <v Speaker 2>And I mean, pull up Google Earth and just just <v Speaker 2>look at where the forest is and look at how <v Speaker 2>vast it is. It's just amazing how large it is. <v Speaker 2>So is it possible to for, you know, for a <v Speaker 2>big foot to be in all those places? Well? Sure, <v Speaker 2>and I'm sure there's more than one family, you know, <v Speaker 2>But I'm sure they're all kind of interconnected somehow. And <v Speaker 2>I just think, especially if you've got something that can <v Speaker 2>travel a long way quickly, it would be very easy <v Speaker 2>to get to those other places. Just getting just doing <v Speaker 2>it through the forest and crossing an occasional road now <v Speaker 2>and then you move at night, you could do it <v Speaker 2>and never be seen. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely. I had a Forest service guy contact me <v Speaker 1>a while back, and he said he patrolled that entire <v Speaker 1>area and he worked out of the office from RALLA, <v Speaker 1>but he said he's never seen or experienced anything. He <v Speaker 1>did tell me that his son in law that was <v Speaker 1>in the Marines encountered a sasquatch in California. But he <v Speaker 1>was just very interested in the subject and wanted to <v Speaker 1>know more. And he claims that he's never ran across <v Speaker 1>any structures, any evidence, or ever seen these creatures before, <v Speaker 1>but he believes that they're out there. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, and you know the structures that I've seen you <v Speaker 2>talk about and I've seen him talk about on other shows. <v Speaker 2>I wish I would have paid attention growing up for <v Speaker 2>some of those. I don't remember ever seeing any of those. <v Speaker 2>But we were never looking for him either, and so <v Speaker 2>could we have walked right by them and never really <v Speaker 2>paid attention. Absolutely, but I don't ever remember seeing anything <v Speaker 2>like that. But that's not to say they weren't there. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'm sure they were around that turkey hunter that <v Speaker 1>I interviewed that had an encounter near that area where <v Speaker 1>you saw the Sasquatch. We went looking for structures and <v Speaker 1>we just didn't really find too much. We found like <v Speaker 1>a lot of broken trees and some arches and stuff <v Speaker 1>like that, but we didn't find like that cluster of structures. <v Speaker 1>But again, there's just so much woods out there that <v Speaker 1>you just never really know. There's an area north of there, <v Speaker 1>I think it's called the Spring Creek area, and apparently, <v Speaker 1>like this governor owns a ton of land out there, <v Speaker 1>and there's been a lot of experiences and encounters out <v Speaker 1>there too, And a lady that contacted me while back, <v Speaker 1>she was going to tell her encounters, but she kind <v Speaker 1>of ghosted me. But she did mention that this governor <v Speaker 1>that the politicians call him Bigfoot, which is pretty strange <v Speaker 1>because that area where he owns all that land and <v Speaker 1>the mark Twain, like, no one's allowed to hunt there. <v Speaker 1>You're not allowed to go on the land. And the <v Speaker 1>farmers that live around the area have had a lot <v Speaker 1>of experiences, and I think there was like a German <v Speaker 1>family that lived out there and they don't live out <v Speaker 1>there anymore, but all their old like Victorian houses are <v Speaker 1>still around, and man, there's just so much going on <v Speaker 1>out there. But when you get out there, you just <v Speaker 1>feel so small, like where do I start? If you <v Speaker 1>pick a spot, like any little spot's going to be huge, <v Speaker 1>and just all around that area, it's just so vast. <v Speaker 1>And I often wonder if the military base that's there, <v Speaker 1>the Fort Lennerwood area, if these sasquatch live on that <v Speaker 1>land as well, because you're not allowed to trespass on there. <v Speaker 1>You can't have a drone in the area, and I'm <v Speaker 1>sure there's all kinds of rules, but apparently there was <v Speaker 1>a BFRORO report where a soldier that was on Fort <v Speaker 1>lennar Wood used to feed these creatures, and you know, <v Speaker 1>that kind of blows my mind. It makes me think <v Speaker 1>that military definitely knows about them. And you know, like <v Speaker 1>with there being a training base out there for the army, <v Speaker 1>they got to have like cameras out there and high <v Speaker 1>end equipment just in case people run away. And they're <v Speaker 1>out there doing tactical missions with like thermal gear and <v Speaker 1>really good scopes and binoculars, like they gotta lay eyes <v Speaker 1>on these creatures every now, every now and then. Do <v Speaker 1>you think when they're doing like these reconnaissance missions, like <v Speaker 1>possibly they run into the Sasquatch. <v Speaker 2>Well, I would say it's possible. You know. I don't know. <v Speaker 2>I don't quite know what to think about the army <v Speaker 2>knowing anything. I mean, I kind of feel like they <v Speaker 2>got too many other irons in the fire to war <v Speaker 2>worry about that, you know. And now some of the soldiers, <v Speaker 2>I'm sure, I'm sure there's probably been sightings, you know, <v Speaker 2>from them, but I can just imagine if one of <v Speaker 2>them reported it, you know, the commanders would be like whatever, <v Speaker 2>get back to work. Yeah, absolutely, you know, I don't know, <v Speaker 2>I don't. I can't imagine the Army would take time <v Speaker 2>to worry about that. But you know, that's but that's <v Speaker 2>part of the that's part of the woods, so that <v Speaker 2>you know, that butts up against the Mark Twain National Forests, <v Speaker 2>so you know, the Sasquatch aren't going to know where <v Speaker 2>the boundary line is. So I I it doesn't surprise <v Speaker 2>me to hear that that that one soldier you mentioned <v Speaker 2>had seen them. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, there's just been a lot of reports around that base. <v Speaker 1>And have you ever noticed any helicopters flying low over <v Speaker 1>that farm that you grew up on. <v Speaker 2>Now? Back when, and back when we lived there, we <v Speaker 2>would have fighter jets fly over occasionally. I remember I <v Speaker 2>remember an F four fighter jet flying right over the <v Speaker 2>tree tops one day I was out, I was out <v Speaker 2>in the near the barn doing chores, and this fighter <v Speaker 2>jet flew right over the top of the trees and <v Speaker 2>scared me to death because it literally came out of nowhere. <v Speaker 2>And we would have that every once in a while. <v Speaker 2>We'd hear sonic booms occasionally from those guys, so they <v Speaker 2>they were definitely used in the area for exercises. But <v Speaker 2>I don't remember helicopters. <v Speaker 1>Ever, Yeah, that's interesting. I wonder like if you went <v Speaker 1>up to the fence where the sasquatch stepped over the <v Speaker 1>fence and had the calf in its arm, like if <v Speaker 1>you would have found hair, if you would have looked. <v Speaker 1>But I'm sure whenever you guys had that encounter, you <v Speaker 1>didn't want to go up there or anywhere near that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, never even thought about that. And we would find <v Speaker 2>hair on the fence all the time from the cows. <v Speaker 2>You know, the cows would use the barbed wire as <v Speaker 2>a scratching post sometimes, and you know, looking back on <v Speaker 2>that now, I can imagine that some of that hair <v Speaker 2>was may have been from the sasquatches. You know, we <v Speaker 2>just never gave it a second thought. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that just gave me a great idea to start <v Speaker 1>looking on fence lines out in remote areas. And I <v Speaker 1>remember seeing hair on the fence in the past, like <v Speaker 1>I think, like where deer would jump over it, you'd <v Speaker 1>see like white hairs and the barbed wire fence. And <v Speaker 1>maybe that's a good way to find sasquatch hairs if <v Speaker 1>you had a good method of testing the hair samples, <v Speaker 1>like you could just go through all the different hairs <v Speaker 1>you find and maybe eventually you'll come across something strange. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, if you could find somebody that did DNA testing, <v Speaker 2>you know, they could they could look at that and <v Speaker 2>tell you what it is. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. Absolutely. So whenever you guys saw this creature, you <v Speaker 1>had the shotgun. You didn't even think of grabbing it <v Speaker 1>or shooting the creature? <v Speaker 2>No, No, never even thought about it. I was focused <v Speaker 2>on as he coming towards us, and what am I <v Speaker 2>going to do if he does? Because I had no <v Speaker 2>idea what I was going to do if he came <v Speaker 2>toward us. I was literally locked up. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, and how did this change your outlook in life <v Speaker 1>after having this encounter? <v Speaker 2>Well, you know, I it's it's funny because the last <v Speaker 2>few years, you know, all these TV programs have come <v Speaker 2>on about Bigfoot, and a lot of them are really <v Speaker 2>silly and they do all this crazy stuff and a <v Speaker 2>lot of people make fun of it, and it's like, yeah, <v Speaker 2>I think you should make fun of it because they're <v Speaker 2>being But the people that they have that tell their story, <v Speaker 2>it's like, I believe that because I have my story, <v Speaker 2>and so you can. It can sound silly and stupid <v Speaker 2>to people, and people can make fun of it, but <v Speaker 2>I know what happened to me, and so I know <v Speaker 2>I'm not making it up, and so it's you know, <v Speaker 2>so I think there's a lot of silliness around it <v Speaker 2>because a lot of people still don't believe it. But <v Speaker 2>you got all these people of being honest about these stories, <v Speaker 2>and it's like, I'm one of the survivor man episodes <v Speaker 2>of the Bigfoot shows that he did. He said, there's <v Speaker 2>really only one of two options here. Either they're lying <v Speaker 2>or they're telling the truth. And why would they lie? <v Speaker 2>And he said, I'm not paying them for their story <v Speaker 2>they have there's no financial gain to it, So why <v Speaker 2>would they tell their story if there's no gain to them? <v Speaker 2>And I kind of look at it the same way. <v Speaker 2>It's like, you know, you're not paying me to tell <v Speaker 2>my story? What gain is there to me? Everyone? Everyone <v Speaker 2>that I've ever told my story to things, I'm nuts, <v Speaker 2>you know, but it's like what am I going to? <v Speaker 2>Why would I make it up? So there's a lot <v Speaker 2>of silliness around it. But I know a lot of <v Speaker 2>people have these encounters, and I think as time goes on, <v Speaker 2>you know, they're getting a little less people are getting <v Speaker 2>a little more believable. It's people that are believing it <v Speaker 2>a little bit more because there's more and more people <v Speaker 2>telling about their encounters. So you know, there's something out <v Speaker 2>there that we can't explain, and a lot of people <v Speaker 2>have seen it, and you know it is what it is. <v Speaker 2>You know, how many other species of things do we <v Speaker 2>not know about. I'm sure there's I'm sure there's a lot, <v Speaker 2>but this just happens to be one that's really big <v Speaker 2>and if you're in the right place at the right time, <v Speaker 2>you can't miss it, you know. So there's something out there. <v Speaker 2>Hopefully that answers your question. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely, And your friend that still lives out there, <v Speaker 1>you can let him know that if he ever sees <v Speaker 1>anything else again or hears anything, he can contact me <v Speaker 1>and we can keep everything discreete No one will know anything. <v Speaker 1>And I just want to capture some evidence. But I <v Speaker 1>understand he doesn't want to talk about it, definitely doesn't <v Speaker 1>want to go on film. But you never know, like <v Speaker 1>maybe these things will come back and they keep coming <v Speaker 1>back and he doesn't have anyone to contact, you know, <v Speaker 1>he can get a hold of me, and I just <v Speaker 1>want to film one of these creatures if they're vocalizing. <v Speaker 1>I want to capture it on audio, and you just <v Speaker 1>never know he might have like a neighbor that is <v Speaker 1>willing to talk or experiences something, So just kind of <v Speaker 1>get the word out there. And that's my goal with <v Speaker 1>this channel, is to have some local contact me and <v Speaker 1>be like, hey, this thing's been coming up to the <v Speaker 1>window every day, or we've been seeing them every night <v Speaker 1>outside of the house, or just whatever it may be. <v Speaker 1>You know, they're screaming and hollering out there in the woods. <v Speaker 1>That's what I want to get in on. And it's <v Speaker 1>happened a few times just the people that did contact <v Speaker 1>me ended up like passing away or they move away, <v Speaker 1>and there's just so little time to get in on <v Speaker 1>the action. And it's just hard to get it out <v Speaker 1>there everywhere. And I'm just looking for eyesighting reports and <v Speaker 1>consistent activity. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, for you, it's got to be right place <v Speaker 2>at the right time. <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, absolutely. There's people that constantly contact me. You know, <v Speaker 1>they're like I heard a woodknock here, This is where <v Speaker 1>you need to be. Hey, I heard something strange here. <v Speaker 1>Come over here, and it's just like, well, what else <v Speaker 1>did you experience? And without having like encounters and consistent activity. <v Speaker 1>It's just hard to be everywhere because you know, I've <v Speaker 1>heard that out there in the woods too, and I <v Speaker 1>spend a lot of time out there, and it's just <v Speaker 1>something that doesn't always happen, or even if they are <v Speaker 1>out there, they're not going to give themselves up. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Okay, So do you plan on going back out there <v Speaker 1>in the future. Does your family still own land out there? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I've got I've got family members still in the area, <v Speaker 2>But no, I don't plan on going out there and <v Speaker 2>doing anything with it. I'm too old now for that. <v Speaker 1>Yeah that makes sense. Yeah. I feel like I interrogated <v Speaker 1>you during this interview, but I was just trying to <v Speaker 1>pull out details and just try to get as much <v Speaker 1>info as I could. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, no problem at all. <v Speaker 1>Do you have any questions for me regarding Bigfoot or <v Speaker 1>anything that you'd like to ask me? <v Speaker 2>Now? The only thing I would say to you is <v Speaker 2>is just keep looking. You know, you're out there all <v Speaker 2>the time, and eventually you're going to be in the <v Speaker 2>right place at the right time. So I appreciate you <v Speaker 2>going out there and digging around and bringing all these stories, <v Speaker 2>you know, to one place. It's definitely fascinating to watch <v Speaker 2>and don't give up. <v Speaker 1>Well, I appreciate you saying that, and I appreciate you <v Speaker 1>for being a guest here on the channel and sharing <v Speaker 1>your encounter openly on sasquatch theory. It really means a lot, <v Speaker 1>and I believe you one, so thank you so much. <v Speaker 2>Glad to do it. <v Speaker 1>Thank you, yeah, absolutely, and I'm gonna let you go now. <v Speaker 1>You have an excellent day, and if you ever encounter <v Speaker 1>anything else in the future or know somebody who has <v Speaker 1>contact me will do And thank you all right, Thomas, <v Speaker 1>you have an excellent day, and God bless you my friend. <v Speaker 1>Thanks all right, Thomas. You certainly had an interesting encounter <v Speaker 1>with your friend that night on the farm, and I <v Speaker 1>am sure your mind was blown after you encountered that create. <v Speaker 1>It's hard to believe that it had a calf in <v Speaker 1>its arm, but these things are happening on farms, and <v Speaker 1>I've heard it over and over from farmers that their <v Speaker 1>calves go missing and they're having sasquatch activity or some <v Speaker 1>type of strange cryptid activity on the farm. But sometimes <v Speaker 1>there's alien activity as well, and these things will go missing, <v Speaker 1>So it's hard to determine what's going on without experiencing <v Speaker 1>more on the farm. But once you see the creature, <v Speaker 1>you know exactly what it is. Thomas has held this <v Speaker 1>encounter in for many years now, and I am sure <v Speaker 1>it's weighed heavy on his heart and his mind. Thomas <v Speaker 1>is right. I didn't pay him anything to share his encounter, <v Speaker 1>and he is doing this because he wants to help <v Speaker 1>out others and he knows what he encountered that night <v Speaker 1>on the farm. I spoke with Thomas off air and <v Speaker 1>he has a very professional career to maintain, and he <v Speaker 1>would certainly have nothing to gain by sharing his encounter. <v Speaker 1>He is also right about two things going on here. <v Speaker 1>Either everyone is making this all up, or this is <v Speaker 1>actually happening out in the forest and these creatures are <v Speaker 1>roaming the forest of North America and other parts of <v Speaker 1>the world. You would have to thank to yourself, are <v Speaker 1>this many people lying to everyone or are they actually <v Speaker 1>seeing something out there in the forest. I can tell <v Speaker 1>you firsthand these creatures actually do exist and they are <v Speaker 1>out there, and it's a terrifying thing to know, but <v Speaker 1>it also makes you feel better confirming to yourself that hey, <v Speaker 1>this is actually going on and there's a lot more <v Speaker 1>to life that we just don't understand. I know where <v Speaker 1>this farm is at for the most part, and it <v Speaker 1>is a very remote area. You could easily get lost <v Speaker 1>out there, and if you were a bigfoot researcher, it <v Speaker 1>would keep you busy for the rest of your life. <v Speaker 1>This confirms that Bigfoot does take animals. And if they <v Speaker 1>take animals, are they liable to take a human being <v Speaker 1>never to be seen again. This is a question that <v Speaker 1>we have to ask ourselves, and there are already reports <v Speaker 1>where people claim to be abducted by bigfoot. Albert Osmond <v Speaker 1>was abducted by a family group of bigfoot and he <v Speaker 1>was held captive for six days. I hope you guys <v Speaker 1>enjoyed today's podcast, and I certainly thought it was an <v Speaker 1>interesting encounter. And it's pretty close to where I had <v Speaker 1>my bigfoot encounters myself. So these things are out there. <v Speaker 1>Beware guys, and until the next one, take care and <v Speaker 1>be safe.
