Revisiting Lucha Underground S1 Episode 2 - Mil Muertes Debuts, Chavo Guerrero Turns Heel

DEADLOCK: A Pro Wrestling Podcast

The boys are back in The Temple!
Last week, we took our first look at Lucha Underground. We had such a good time with it, that we decided for the first time to do a BACK-TO-BACK review, following up on the last episode. This week, we're taking a look at the 2nd episode of Lucha Underground!
Big Ryck, as well as his henchmen Cortez Castro & Cisco are here to run their mouths some more after the damage they dealt out to Johnny Mundo & Prince Puma after last episode's main event. But, Mundo & Puma don't take the trash talk for too long, which brings Dario Cueto to set up a tag match right away!
Chavo Guerrero teams with Sexy Star to take on Son of Havoc & Ivelisse, in a follow up match from last week where Sexy Star was beaten by Son of Havoc (who absolutely pulled the tights, just so you know!). But that's not the last we see of Chavo Guerrero tonight!
Also, in our main event, the debut of 1,000 deaths - Mil Muertes steps into the Temple to take on the winner of last week's main event, Blue Demon Jr!
All of that, and much more, on this week's DEADLOCK Podcast!

<v Speaker 1>Dub Boys on.
<v Speaker 2>Town. Welcome to the Deadlock Podcast, episode number three hundred
<v Speaker 2>and thirty four. Today we might be doing a first
<v Speaker 2>time here in Deadlock. So we had such a good
<v Speaker 2>time on Luca Underground Season one, episode one, we thought,
<v Speaker 2>let's do the next episode right after it.
<v Speaker 1>Like, let's continue them momentum. I think you're right. I legit, don't.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if we've done this before. Maybe someone
<v Speaker 1>else can tell us if we're wrong. But yeah, man,
<v Speaker 1>I mean everybody, the reaction us to in Lucia Underground
<v Speaker 1>was like really cool. All you seemed excited about it
<v Speaker 1>and us watching it and just kind of talking about
<v Speaker 1>it on and off the show like got us fired
<v Speaker 1>up for it. So we said fuck it. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>we could wait, you know, a few weeks like we
<v Speaker 1>usually do to come back and revisit something, or we
<v Speaker 1>could just pop it off now. So why not just
<v Speaker 1>pop it off now?
<v Speaker 2>Before we get into that, we have the Deadlock updates.
<v Speaker 1>Big updates here. I'm still alive for right. Oh thanks
<v Speaker 1>everybody that sent their well wishes and all or what
<v Speaker 1>I was talking about last week. It was very nice
<v Speaker 1>of you all. I am slowly but surely recovering from
<v Speaker 1>them their shangles. But yeah, I'm okay. So thank you
<v Speaker 1>all so much for the kind words. James has been
<v Speaker 1>punching me in the eye relentlessly, making it worse, but
<v Speaker 1>other than that, it's been fun.
<v Speaker 2>I thought it was making it better.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yes, see every time I said stop, that meant like,
<v Speaker 1>don't punch me in the eye. Yeah, I see, like
<v Speaker 1>this is bad. I don't like this. This sucks it
<v Speaker 1>right on the Patreon right now. Did you know we
<v Speaker 1>have a patreon this patreon dot com slash deadlock PW.
<v Speaker 1>If you haven't checked it out right now, right here,

<v Speaker 1>episode of watch This is up. You should go check
<v Speaker 1>that out. That's our weekly watch a long thing where
<v Speaker 1>we watch a match or sometimes it's usually a match,
<v Speaker 1>but sometimes a fight or court case. We watched Bill
<v Speaker 1>Alfonso Busy High Court Case one time.
<v Speaker 2>That was a good episode.
<v Speaker 1>It was a good episode lots of great episodes that
<v Speaker 1>not only you can watch new ones weekly, but catch
<v Speaker 1>up on the backlog. There's hundreds of these on there
<v Speaker 1>on the Patreon right now. Speaking of things that there's

<v Speaker 1>of January is going to be, of course in the
<v Speaker 1>ten dollars tire in above, but will be WWF in
<v Speaker 1>Your House Buried Alive from nineteen ninety six. We touched
<v Speaker 1>upon that recently. We watched the Go Home Show to
<v Speaker 1>this and kind of got us jazzed up. James said,
<v Speaker 1>why don't we just watch that and I said, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's a good idea. That's how we got here. I'm
<v Speaker 1>pretty excited for that one, so hopefully you enjoy that.
<v Speaker 1>That will be up before the end of the month.
<v Speaker 1>So sign up now to prepare or sign up now
<v Speaker 1>to check out all the previous episodes of SGH. The

<v Speaker 1>that's different. The Debdies now up get the votes in
<v Speaker 1>for the twenty twenty five debties. Thank you to everybody
<v Speaker 1>that cast it to your ballots, but we put them
<v Speaker 1>all together and the voting has begun, so get all
<v Speaker 1>those votes in. We're hoping for record numbers here. Last
<v Speaker 1>year was unreal, so this year already looking pretty good.
<v Speaker 1>So get those in now.
<v Speaker 2>And now it is time for the Patreon shoutouts segment.
<v Speaker 2>Why the first of the year.
<v Speaker 1>Is that true? That's not that's impossible. It's impossible for
<v Speaker 1>that to be true. Oh yeah, I guess so that's fair.
<v Speaker 1>You're thinking about everybody here.
<v Speaker 2>That's nice. That's very nice. Starting in the five dollar
<v Speaker 2>tier when the five beat the four and the six
<v Speaker 2>beat the three, it's so true. It's RVD, yes, Eagles
<v Speaker 2>and Panthers.
<v Speaker 1>Whatever's going on here? Fuck you, I don't know. I
<v Speaker 1>don't like it. It just didn't feel good.

<v Speaker 2>for Carson Palmer on a Texans uh NFL two K
<v Speaker 2>five franchise. I was doing the other day. Carson Palmer
<v Speaker 2>made a fucking dream drive against Peyton Manning and the
<v Speaker 2>Bears in the Super Bowl. God fucking real. We won
<v Speaker 2>forty two forty one in the Super Bowl against Peyton
<v Speaker 2>Manning and the Bears. It was nuts.
<v Speaker 1>When you told us about that, I was mad you
<v Speaker 1>weren't recording it.
<v Speaker 2>I know as it was happening. Yeah, it was unreal.

<v Speaker 2>All right, let's get into Luca Underground Season one, episode
<v Speaker 2>number two.
<v Speaker 1>I'm excited, dude, Okay, is this a is this a
<v Speaker 1>first here where we did a back to back maybe?
<v Speaker 2>I mean, there was a lot of people that were
<v Speaker 2>super hyped to see Luca Underground on this, I was
<v Speaker 2>super hype just to see the follow up episode one.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, episode one is always one thing, but how
<v Speaker 2>good is episode two? Really? Hmmm?
<v Speaker 1>How do they continue the momentum? I mean yeah, like
<v Speaker 1>I don't, I don't know if we have It's it's
<v Speaker 1>few and far between of a you know, one episode
<v Speaker 1>followed with the next episode. But yeah, everybody was, like
<v Speaker 1>James said, was super excited and like this felt very
<v Speaker 1>fresh to us, and we were like fuck, like we
<v Speaker 1>could win a couple weeks. Did Luchona Ground episode two
<v Speaker 1>or we could just do it? And we said, let's
<v Speaker 1>just do it. Why not? So before we get into
<v Speaker 1>Lucanderground episode two from season one, I have a little
<v Speaker 1>bit of observers here for everybody I know, on the
<v Speaker 1>last episode we kind of went over the beginning stages
<v Speaker 1>of Lucanderground and the name and YadA YadA, YadA, and
<v Speaker 1>kind of how the first taping went. Well. I have
<v Speaker 1>a little bit just from around the time, so from
<v Speaker 1>probably going forward for Luchona Ground episodes, I'll just do
<v Speaker 1>kind of you know, the week after a show air,
<v Speaker 1>just to kind of see what was going on here.
<v Speaker 1>So from the wrestling observer newsletter November seventeenth to twenty fourteen.
<v Speaker 1>In CMLL news, now this is a weird one only
<v Speaker 1>because there's a company name here that made me think
<v Speaker 1>maybe I was doing the wrong time period. So in
<v Speaker 1>CML news and a Crazy Story, Meltzer writes, it now
<v Speaker 1>looks like la Park isn't returning after all, although people
<v Speaker 1>are skeptical of that one as well. All Elite Wrestling,
<v Speaker 1>which is running a series of shows in cml's arena
<v Speaker 1>this week, announced that la Park was still an independent
<v Speaker 1>and you can only see him work with CMLL talent
<v Speaker 1>on their shows. So I was reading this and I
<v Speaker 1>was like, man, that's fucking weird. AW like had an
<v Speaker 1>issue with CMLL, And I'm like, wait a second, this
<v Speaker 1>is twenty fourteen. There was a different AW that ran
<v Speaker 1>in Mexico that I didn't know about.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I didn't know that either. That's I mean, was
<v Speaker 2>the chance of that happening?
<v Speaker 1>I mean, dude, it legit threw me off really bad.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, oh man, I'm wasting my time, Like
<v Speaker 1>what was going on here? I'm reading the wrong fucking notes.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. I was trying to find info in
<v Speaker 1>this company. I really couldn't find anything though, So if
<v Speaker 1>anybody has any info on the original aw number one two,
<v Speaker 1>we would like to know about it and why LAPARCA
<v Speaker 1>or CMLA had issue with them. Looke Underground News here, James.
<v Speaker 1>This was one we talked about last week, but I'll
<v Speaker 1>bring up up here just because it's really into this episode.
<v Speaker 1>Lutra on the Ground on November fifth, which is this
<v Speaker 1>episode here, did twenty nine thousand viewers, up from about
<v Speaker 1>twenty thousand the week before. Although the eighteen to forty
<v Speaker 1>nine demo went from eight thousand to twenty one thousand,
<v Speaker 1>Unama's ratings, which would be considerably higher having come out.
<v Speaker 1>At the very least, there was an uptick.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean that's pretty exciting. I'm sure that people
<v Speaker 2>working on the show are pretty excited about that. You know,
<v Speaker 2>a lot of times you expect with the hype and everything,
<v Speaker 2>people checking out for the first time, Like the first
<v Speaker 2>episode is going to do super well ratings wise, probably
<v Speaker 2>near the peak of where you'll be at for at
<v Speaker 2>least a few months, right until people start really catching
<v Speaker 2>on to like the schedule and everything. But going up
<v Speaker 2>in episode two, I mean that's a sign of good
<v Speaker 2>things for sure.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean how often, like you said, like, is
<v Speaker 1>somebody just going to check it out and probably not
<v Speaker 1>follow up, you know, even if they were like, oh
<v Speaker 1>this is cool, Like you know, if it's not a
<v Speaker 1>part of your routine, it's easy to forget something. So
<v Speaker 1>going up like almost ten thousand viewers is pretty fucking good.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I bet everybody there was super excited about that
<v Speaker 2>for sure.
<v Speaker 1>With wrestling too, dude. I mean you can look at
<v Speaker 1>it on I mean even nowadays or you know, in
<v Speaker 1>the past, like how often is there you could argue
<v Speaker 1>like a year over year like thirty to forty percent
<v Speaker 1>decrease of viewership, so you know how quickly that can
<v Speaker 1>turn is And I think they only keep doing better.
<v Speaker 1>This goes on for four fucking seasons.
<v Speaker 2>That's true. Yeah, and I think they get more money
<v Speaker 2>as time goes on.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, so yeah, that's right. Meltzer says. I haven't seen it,
<v Speaker 1>but I'm being told the Unamasa version of the show
<v Speaker 1>is better than the l Ray version, which got me
<v Speaker 1>a little tilted because I was like, oh man, maybe
<v Speaker 1>I should like try to watch like both versions and see,
<v Speaker 1>like maybe I'll do that for the third one. I'll
<v Speaker 1>try to find the UNAMAS like Spanish version of the
<v Speaker 1>show and watch it and see, like if there's any differences,
<v Speaker 1>because he says here that Hugo Savinovich is one of
<v Speaker 1>the commentators in Vampiro is a commentator with him on
<v Speaker 1>that as well, but he's Vampiro is like a full
<v Speaker 1>heel on that one.
<v Speaker 2>Wait wait, wait, so Vampiro does both commentary tables for
<v Speaker 2>this show.
<v Speaker 1>He does English and Spanish and it's two separate recordings. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Wow, I didn't know that.
<v Speaker 1>That's a lot.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah dude, wow, he was locked in.
<v Speaker 1>Meltzer also says another reason the Spanish show is better
<v Speaker 1>is because there is different production on these early shows.
<v Speaker 1>A lot of the people involved have never done pro
<v Speaker 1>wrestling before. To add those issues like in show one
<v Speaker 1>that in theory will go away as the crew gets
<v Speaker 1>more experience, but the production in putting together show on
<v Speaker 1>UNAMAS were done weeks after and the crew had more
<v Speaker 1>experience with it. So I mean, I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>that keeps going or how different the shows may be,
<v Speaker 1>but yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna have to check.
<v Speaker 2>That out, take a look at it, right.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, yeah, right, I mean that'd be crazy if
<v Speaker 1>there's just a whole different fucking world over there, like
<v Speaker 1>Childo is a top baby.
<v Speaker 2>It changes the whole show they recorded like extra shit,
<v Speaker 2>and it's split between the two channels.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, it's like fucking power Interests as super Za Time.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's nice. You get like Bizarro World, Luca Underground.
<v Speaker 2>That's that's pretty interesting.
<v Speaker 1>No, Martez is actually like a super nice dude. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>If you don't like yeah, if you don't like how
<v Speaker 2>it is here, you can go watch it on this
<v Speaker 2>other channel. It's the exact opposite. Maybe you'll like that one.
<v Speaker 1>Holy shit, that'd be what a fucking crazy concept. That
<v Speaker 1>would be like an alternate universe that's always running at
<v Speaker 1>the same time.
<v Speaker 2>If you were a streaming only show, you could maybe
<v Speaker 2>do that. I mean it would take a lot of shooting, dude,
<v Speaker 2>but yeah, you could try it. I mean it would
<v Speaker 2>be It would definitely be something to talk about.
<v Speaker 1>The next set of tapings begins on January seventeenth. There
<v Speaker 1>is talk of more wrestlers from Triple A in the
<v Speaker 1>second season. They're also looking at new US wrestlers Jeff Cobb,
<v Speaker 1>who was the star of a trial at Camp Conan
<v Speaker 1>and San Jose A long time back is among those
<v Speaker 1>under consideration, which spoilers that does come to be Jeff
<v Speaker 1>Cobb does join this fucking place, and I mean, what
<v Speaker 1>a what a get? Because like Jeff Cobb is, I
<v Speaker 1>feel like just around the time he's probably just getting
<v Speaker 1>in a p BG.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I don't remember the exact timetable of all that stuff,
<v Speaker 2>but yeah, I mean I've I've obviously seen the clips
<v Speaker 2>of him and Luke junder round and tour the Islands
<v Speaker 2>was super over too.
<v Speaker 1>So totally shit. Yeah, dude, I mean his gimmick in
<v Speaker 1>the Junderground as fucking sick as fuck too. So that's uh,
<v Speaker 1>we'll get there, actually we I hope. So Meltzer says
<v Speaker 1>under producers, the first name listed was Chavo Guerrero Junior.
<v Speaker 1>This is based on this show we're about to watch here.
<v Speaker 1>He said they should have enough quality control to leave
<v Speaker 1>his name off as a producer if he's going to
<v Speaker 1>be talent or at least just listed as Salvador or
<v Speaker 1>sal Guerrero four or something like that, which I guess
<v Speaker 1>I understand, right, like, especially with what happens on this show,
<v Speaker 1>just seeing how the show ends. And then the first
<v Speaker 1>name U see is who put the show together was Java. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>He had a great idea for the main angle on
<v Speaker 2>the show.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and the beginning of the show, the middle of
<v Speaker 1>the show, and the end of the show. He had
<v Speaker 1>really good ideas for.
<v Speaker 2>Who together is doing a great job with Java Guerrero.
<v Speaker 1>Last thing here really important. It was about Raw. By
<v Speaker 1>the way, Grumpy Cat, the viral Sensation will be the
<v Speaker 1>guest star on the November seventeenth Raw.
<v Speaker 2>That's so exciting. That's so exciting. I gotta say how
<v Speaker 2>excited I am.
<v Speaker 1>Taken over the world and they were on a Raw.
<v Speaker 2>Versus t Anda's keyboard Cat.
<v Speaker 1>Well, that is it for the Observer. Now let's talk
<v Speaker 1>about Lucha Underground season one, episode two.
<v Speaker 2>All right, let's get into the temple. Lucha Underground episode two,
<v Speaker 2>season one. We get a code open that goes over
<v Speaker 2>everything that we saw in episode one, which is quite
<v Speaker 2>a few storylines.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so the match Shreker voice over here, they try
<v Speaker 1>to you know, kind of piece some stuff together here,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, just for prosperity sake. This was taped
<v Speaker 1>September seventh, twenty fourteen, and aired November fifth, twenty fourteen.
<v Speaker 1>Here and yeah, so Blue Daymond Junior to beat Chavo.
<v Speaker 1>Dario Aquato called Chavo Abama and said his family thinks
<v Speaker 1>he's a.
<v Speaker 2>Bit all right, well let's do it's right the show
<v Speaker 2>this week.
<v Speaker 1>Buddy Matt Striker calls the Son of Havoc and Sexy
<v Speaker 1>Star match a battle of the sexes, and boy, oh boy,
<v Speaker 1>they really really drive this one home this week. And
<v Speaker 1>they also say again that he pulled the tights. Just
<v Speaker 1>not a single piece of footage exists that shows him
<v Speaker 1>the tights.
<v Speaker 2>He went for it, though you saw it, just.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't see it happened. Dario also refused to give
<v Speaker 1>Johnny Mundo the one hundred thousand dollars despite him having
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I guess it's just implied that he had
<v Speaker 1>the best performance because he beat Prince Bumba, but he
<v Speaker 1>refused to give him the money. And Ricky Reyz and
<v Speaker 1>Little Cholo and Big Rick came in here and started
<v Speaker 1>whooping their asses and and got the money. And they're
<v Speaker 1>the new big guns in charge here.
<v Speaker 2>So we started with the city shot here and the
<v Speaker 2>executive due users of the show. Mm hmmm, this might
<v Speaker 2>be like the most executive producers I've ever seen on
<v Speaker 2>any TV show. Maybe I just don't pay attention.
<v Speaker 1>A lot of people need a lot of credit, especially
<v Speaker 1>in pro wrestling, James, and you should know that.
<v Speaker 2>True. Well, we see the sign and then we head
<v Speaker 2>into the temple here.
<v Speaker 1>This shot is pretty cool though, by the way, you
<v Speaker 1>mentioned it last week. How they have a lot of
<v Speaker 1>cool you know, the cars going by and the lights
<v Speaker 1>and the highway shots. They show barbed wire graffiti here
<v Speaker 1>and there, and yeah, I mean again, presentation is super fresh,
<v Speaker 1>especially you know when you know at the time like
<v Speaker 1>this is nothing like any of the other wrestling shows
<v Speaker 1>on TV, So getting a feel for a just a
<v Speaker 1>produced show like this is still pretty cool.
<v Speaker 2>So we start with Dario's Men town hall. I didn't
<v Speaker 2>know what else to call it.
<v Speaker 1>That's pretty good.
<v Speaker 2>We don't know who these people are yet.
<v Speaker 1>Oh you're about to learn, buddy, you are about to learn.
<v Speaker 1>And I mean, how much heat can two can three
<v Speaker 1>guys have? This crowd is so mad?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, of course they are. I mean the AC hasn't
<v Speaker 2>been on. They're probably our thirteen. In about forty five hour.
<v Speaker 1>Taping, Geches announced Ricochet and Rich Swana against Chuck, Taylor
<v Speaker 1>and Trent they'd rather go watch that. So Ricky Rayz
<v Speaker 1>is the first man to talk here on on on
<v Speaker 1>this one here, and I was very excited. Roight widlerds.
<v Speaker 2>Nobody ever said that, like, no.
<v Speaker 1>No one was ever. Yeah, Julie Smoke said it. So, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>Ricky rays is the first talk here and he tells
<v Speaker 1>everyone to shut up. Big Rick is in the ring
<v Speaker 1>and he's smoking a penis, which, uh, you know all
<v Speaker 1>all bosses do that.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, anyone named Rick also does that.
<v Speaker 1>That's fucking actually true. What the hell?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's just a long term thing.
<v Speaker 1>Meltzer in his review of this, by the way, said
<v Speaker 1>that they said that Big Rick spent his money the
<v Speaker 1>one hundred thousand dollars on cigars. Did they say that?
<v Speaker 2>Oh I didn't hear that.
<v Speaker 1>If they said that, Yeah, I missed that too. That's
<v Speaker 1>fucking funniest shit if that's the case here.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I thought maybe he would, you know, maybe give
<v Speaker 2>the guys that did a lot of the work some
<v Speaker 2>of the money.
<v Speaker 1>His boys at Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Cool.
<v Speaker 1>Well, Ricky Rea says, we're not here to play no games,
<v Speaker 1>and we're here to beat up people and take their money.
<v Speaker 1>And there's only one name you need to remember, and
<v Speaker 1>that's Cortes Castro, which all right, not Ricky rez is
<v Speaker 1>Cortez Castro. But I don't know. Saying there's only one
<v Speaker 1>name you need to remember while you're state to what
<v Speaker 1>two your boys sounds a little ridiculous.
<v Speaker 2>You also have two names, which Matt Striker doesn't know
<v Speaker 2>any of them through the show.
<v Speaker 1>Then little Cholo grabs the mic and he says, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>and they call me Cisco, all right, when do they
<v Speaker 1>add the mister I'm not sure it might just happen naturally.
<v Speaker 1>He just gets a lot of respect.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Big Rick just gave him an honorific They said, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>go and mister yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Throw him on there. Respond well, Big Rick does. He
<v Speaker 1>says he's the boss, and he says he's Big Rick
<v Speaker 1>in the crowd, I mean, unreal heat here for Big
<v Speaker 1>rig And he says, Johnny Mundo, you knew my face,
<v Speaker 1>but last week he found out who I am, and
<v Speaker 1>Johnny Mundo took it as a sign of disrespect because
<v Speaker 1>he immediately hits the ring and double leggs Cisco not
<v Speaker 1>mister just Cisco U and I mean he's whooping him
<v Speaker 1>and and and Cortes's ass immediately running a train on them.
<v Speaker 1>Kicking the shit out of them. So Cortes, Castro and
<v Speaker 1>Cisco grabbing wooden chairs from around the ring side because
<v Speaker 1>that's all they had. There was no other than obviouslyeel
<v Speaker 1>One's here, Chavo's hoarding all those and they're you know,
<v Speaker 1>surrounding the ring trying to go for Johnny Mundo, but
<v Speaker 1>Prince Luma hits the ring to even the odds and
<v Speaker 1>we you know, have a little stand off until Dario
<v Speaker 1>Quato comes out from his office, which also looks way
<v Speaker 1>nicer than the temple itself. Again, another place in this
<v Speaker 1>building that just looks way cooler, uh than and more
<v Speaker 1>in enjoyable to be in in the temple the ring area,
<v Speaker 1>and Dario comes out from his office and says, hold on,
<v Speaker 1>if you guys are going to beat the hell out
<v Speaker 1>of each other, let's make an official give me a
<v Speaker 1>referee because we're gonna have a tag team match right now.
<v Speaker 1>And that sets it up. We have a tag team
<v Speaker 1>match start off the show. Its Prince Puma and Johnny
<v Speaker 1>Mundo versus Cortes Castro and mister Cisco, and Big Rick
<v Speaker 1>is chilling on the stairs looking big.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, so was the office like? Is that like beside
<v Speaker 2>the ring. I don't know if if he had like
<v Speaker 2>any talk about this yet. They actually don't even bring
<v Speaker 2>it up on the show yet. I was so I
<v Speaker 2>saw him walk out and then get on a mic
<v Speaker 2>and start talking, but it was a shot that was cold.
<v Speaker 2>It wasn't like connected to the rest of the shots. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>so I actually didn't know where the office was, and
<v Speaker 2>I also didn't know it was right to out the ring.
<v Speaker 2>I just kind of figured it out, right. I was like,
<v Speaker 2>it must be like pretty close to where they're at.
<v Speaker 2>But I mean, the office is right beside the fucking ring.
<v Speaker 2>So he's like watching everything right here from the office, right,
<v Speaker 2>So that's kind of the idea.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, exactly. Yeah, he's like he's go to the action.
<v Speaker 2>M that's pretty cool, dude.
<v Speaker 1>It's super cool actually, And I mean as we go
<v Speaker 1>on here, not to spoil stuff, but there is like
<v Speaker 1>interaction with it and stuff, and I always uh had
<v Speaker 1>hopes I mean Lucha Underground video game, because there are
<v Speaker 1>so many places that they could have did stuff like
<v Speaker 1>with here.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I mean, as we see later in the evening,
<v Speaker 2>there's like nine different areas in this temple. I mean
<v Speaker 2>it's huge. This is like the biggest warehouse in this barrio.
<v Speaker 1>I'm guessing yes, it fucking feels like it, especially when
<v Speaker 1>they do the wide shot. It takes up a full
<v Speaker 1>block or two. It looked like Also, yeah, so as
<v Speaker 1>you as you said, yeah, he's his office is legit.
<v Speaker 1>He opens a door and like, I mean, he could
<v Speaker 1>if he wanted to, he could jump from his office
<v Speaker 1>onto the stairs. Like that's how close it is.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I'm kind of surprised that, uh like after this match,
<v Speaker 2>you know why Johnny Mundo and Prince Pumaden just walk
<v Speaker 2>over the office day man? So what was that deal
<v Speaker 2>last week?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, you're right, there was none of that. Huh yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I guess.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, right, like maybe there's like a bodyguard or something
<v Speaker 2>outside the door. I'm just kind of piecing together thought
<v Speaker 2>as I was watching, you know, just wonder it could be. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>what what the deal is with this? But I assume,
<v Speaker 2>like I said, they'll they'll get into this as the
<v Speaker 2>season goes on.
<v Speaker 1>You don't just storm into Lafe's office, Are you fucking
<v Speaker 1>kidding me? Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>Well, I mean it would have been cool if they
<v Speaker 2>did and then just got beat the fuck out of,
<v Speaker 2>like just.
<v Speaker 1>Two big security guards throw them out through the door
<v Speaker 1>fucking fresh print style.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that would have been sick. So we have the
<v Speaker 2>tag team match here, Johnny Mundo and Prince Puma versus
<v Speaker 2>Cortez Castro and Cisco. Puma and Mundo take advantage early
<v Speaker 2>here with a great shine, Striker and Vampiro put over Puma.
<v Speaker 1>On commentary, Dude, yes, Striker says, Prince Puma is one
<v Speaker 1>of those guys you call your friends about, and so
<v Speaker 1>you gotta watch this guy. Oh well, I don't really
<v Speaker 1>watch wrestling, trust me. This isn't wrestling you're used to.
<v Speaker 1>All right, Why you fucking make like making up a
<v Speaker 1>scenario where I'm calling somebody that I know doesn't like
<v Speaker 1>wrestling to talk about fucking friends Puma.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, you know, Striker actually had a lot to say here.
<v Speaker 2>Striker says Puma is learning a lot from Conan. Uh
<v Speaker 2>and if he as stops him just immediately and says, hey,
<v Speaker 2>no he's not you know, he's corrupting that young man. No,
<v Speaker 2>he's not. Look, bro, this guy's evil.
<v Speaker 1>Conan should die, Buddy, Codan should fucking die. Oh all right,
<v Speaker 1>well I'm gonna call my friend about it who hates wrestling.
<v Speaker 2>Tell him Codan is gonna die on this.
<v Speaker 1>Well, I don't like coonan and I don't know who
<v Speaker 1>that is. You trust me, you should tune into this.
<v Speaker 2>Oh this is going to podcast. Doesn't know where the
<v Speaker 2>office is? Yeah, well guess about tune in, buddy, you'll
<v Speaker 2>learn something.
<v Speaker 1>Well, what if I watch a Spanish version? I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what's going on. You should watch them both versions.
<v Speaker 2>Oh I don't, I don't have the already. Nowhere, go
<v Speaker 2>I can't watch this shounder and call your friend, get
<v Speaker 2>an XWT account watch it. So we go back into
<v Speaker 2>the ring. Here, Mundo does a spinner Rooney kick into
<v Speaker 2>Cisco and I swear to God, just kicked him right
<v Speaker 2>in the top of his head.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, he dums him with this kid. It's actually awesome.
<v Speaker 2>I expect to see like a cartoon, just big bulb
<v Speaker 2>on the top of his head.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, miss Cisco has a question. Well, you gotta keep
<v Speaker 1>orkings are busy later.
<v Speaker 2>So Striker asked Cisco earlier today what is his style?
<v Speaker 2>And apparently Cisco told him that it's prison shower style.
<v Speaker 2>I have many questions here, but I'm just going to
<v Speaker 2>tackle the most obvious one. When did Striker see the
<v Speaker 2>hired gun Cisco earlier today to ask commentary questions. Was
<v Speaker 2>he just hanging out backstage?
<v Speaker 1>Matt Striker, known for hanging out with all the heels here,
<v Speaker 1>He was probably going back there to tell him about
<v Speaker 1>Fritz Buma.
<v Speaker 7>This guy came in and hurt somebody and then ran
<v Speaker 7>away with money, and Striker.
<v Speaker 2>Had time to go ask him. So, what do you
<v Speaker 2>want me to call you on commentary?
<v Speaker 1>Heydeed, I know he just ransacked the company and fucking
<v Speaker 1>beat up our top babies. Can you tell me how
<v Speaker 1>you wrestle? Like? What should I say? How did Striker
<v Speaker 1>know he was going to wrestle on this show?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it wasn't a it was it was a match
<v Speaker 2>that got made right then too. So Cortes grabs Mundo
<v Speaker 2>when he goes for a sling shot and bumps him,
<v Speaker 2>which allows Cortes and Cisco to take over.
<v Speaker 1>Here.
<v Speaker 2>Striker says that Cortes's name is inspired by Cortes, the
<v Speaker 2>killer who came into Mexico and ended many of the tribes.
<v Speaker 2>I am glad that they touched on that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, dude, Okay, That's one thing I do really like
<v Speaker 1>about kind of the entire presentation here, is you know.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, everybody gets an explanation, even these guys, you know,
<v Speaker 1>like which again, I don't know how they got this
<v Speaker 1>much information, all these guys, but at the very least,
<v Speaker 1>you know they it adds a little something to like
<v Speaker 1>their character.
<v Speaker 2>Big Rick is sitting on the steps watching this match.
<v Speaker 2>He's got the sick gar puffing that thing crazy. Uh,
<v Speaker 2>great character here, I'm already in love with it. To me,
<v Speaker 2>this is his defining character.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, Ivy, this is fucking like a boss. Like he
<v Speaker 1>calls himself the boss. I mean, when you think of it,
<v Speaker 1>like this is a boss and yeah, like he looks
<v Speaker 1>big as fuck and he's got henchman. What more could
<v Speaker 1>you ask for?
<v Speaker 2>I don't even need to see him wrestle, and I'm like, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>this is like the coolest wrestler ever. Dude.
<v Speaker 1>By the way, Striker so they're doing some shit here
<v Speaker 1>in Striker says, you know, it's the style of Cortes
<v Speaker 1>en Castro that is going to clash with the style
<v Speaker 1>of Mundo and Puma. So Cortez Castro is one guy,
<v Speaker 1>just the one. Well he has two names, I don't
<v Speaker 1>I mean, fucking can we show us some respect to
<v Speaker 1>Cisco I think Cisco needs something before his name to
<v Speaker 1>really set him apart.
<v Speaker 2>Well, Mundo uses his Parkour moves to duck and dodge
<v Speaker 2>into the Puma hot tag.
<v Speaker 1>Very cool.
<v Speaker 2>Puma comes in. He has two back elbows, two lines,
<v Speaker 2>and then a ddt into new breaker combo for a two.
<v Speaker 1>I mean vampiro is I mean he's losing his goddamn
<v Speaker 1>mind at Principluma breathing, let alone, doing his fucking shitty ere.
<v Speaker 2>Puma hits a handspring drop kick into a shooter for
<v Speaker 2>a two. Mundo comes in. He hits a rona on Cortes,
<v Speaker 2>then misses when he goes for a sling shot.
<v Speaker 1>Tornido fucking on like he eats shit on that too.
<v Speaker 2>Cortez and Cisco hit a sick kick into neck breaker
<v Speaker 2>double team for a two.
<v Speaker 3>Uh.
<v Speaker 2>They look for the shatter machine here, but Mundo grabs
<v Speaker 2>Cortes and Puma rolls up Cisco for a two.
<v Speaker 1>I thought that was gonna be it, to be honest
<v Speaker 1>with you, that felt like a TV finish to me.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, I definitely thought they were taking it home there.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, oh, okay, he'll beat him that way. It
<v Speaker 2>kind of protects him a little bit, but uh yeah,
<v Speaker 2>there was a back end of this match that ended
<v Speaker 2>up being good too, So.
<v Speaker 1>I actually wouldn't have been like, and maybe that's just
<v Speaker 1>what I'm used to right with watching TV stuff. I
<v Speaker 1>would have been totally like, okay, yeah, like he got
<v Speaker 1>the roll up and that leaves more for next week,
<v Speaker 1>but there's actually more and it's awesome.
<v Speaker 2>Mundo hits a moonlight drive on Cisco two. Puma hits
<v Speaker 2>a sensational flip dive on Cortes to the outside, but
<v Speaker 2>Cisco rolls up Mundo using the ropes for a tube.
<v Speaker 2>Once again, I thought it was it right there.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, fucking super feet on the ropes too. I said, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>that's the end of the match, which again I would
<v Speaker 1>have been fine with.
<v Speaker 2>Puma and Mundo do the inner City machine gun spot
<v Speaker 2>where Mundo up and overs and Puma hits a drop
<v Speaker 2>kick into the corner on Cisco.
<v Speaker 1>Which a great fucking spot. And I mean, the is
<v Speaker 1>it the finish of this is also an inner city
<v Speaker 1>machine guns finish, isn't it?
<v Speaker 2>It is a lot of times they would do it.
<v Speaker 2>Rich One would do the one where he's standing up
<v Speaker 2>and he jumps and does the four oh oh yes, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>that was awesome. Fritz, Puma and Johnny Mundo head to
<v Speaker 2>the top on opposite corners and hits stereo four fifties
<v Speaker 2>to pick up the win.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, this is so cool these guys are I mean,
<v Speaker 1>what a great Babyface tag team, especially for the top
<v Speaker 1>end of the show, right like this, these are the
<v Speaker 1>guys like that are doing all that. Like you hear
<v Speaker 1>lucha and then you see two guys like this going
<v Speaker 1>ballsla wall and doing double four fifties, Like, yeah, okay,
<v Speaker 1>I completely understand the show. Vampiro says, Oh man, I've
<v Speaker 1>never seen anything like that. Vampio, don't go down the street,
<v Speaker 1>stay out of receiint it. It'll fuck this show up
<v Speaker 1>for you.
<v Speaker 2>Puma and Mundo like they hit the stereo four fifties
<v Speaker 2>in the back. You can hear Big Rick yelling I
<v Speaker 2>can't do any of that shit. Oddlie. So we got
<v Speaker 2>to a pre tape here Conan is at the Temple
<v Speaker 2>in the locker room and he's talking to Prince Puma.
<v Speaker 1>I was confused for a second because they showed like
<v Speaker 1>a sink and then it pans over to Conan sitting.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, oh, is this like him taking a shit.
<v Speaker 1>But no, it's it's it's a lot more mature than that.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just a child. He's just yelling. Uh, he has
<v Speaker 1>a cane. By the way. He did have hip surgery,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, I did, and I did read that.
<v Speaker 1>So like during this first out of tapings he had
<v Speaker 1>the hip replacement. I think that's what it.
<v Speaker 2>Was, which is a huge surgery.
<v Speaker 1>It's unreal. So the fact that he's even here at all,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, good on him. Fuck and cause that shit
<v Speaker 1>sounds horrible. Conan says, you know, I was right about you.
<v Speaker 1>You're what everyone's talking about. You are Lucha underground. But
<v Speaker 1>Johnny Mundo, you need to stay away from him. His
<v Speaker 1>fight ain't your fight. And he definitely hit your friend.
<v Speaker 1>In this business, you got one friend, and you're looking
<v Speaker 1>at him and Prince Puma. You know, he doesn't seem uh,
<v Speaker 1>he's not thrilled with this information, but he trusts Conan.
<v Speaker 1>He gives him a nod, and Conan of course says,
<v Speaker 1>odla and he says, let's bounce P.
<v Speaker 2>Well, let's bounce P.
<v Speaker 1>Like I I again, this is something that like kept
<v Speaker 1>me watching this show for so long, Like this is
<v Speaker 1>a twenty thirty second backstage that like just again just
<v Speaker 1>planning seeds.
<v Speaker 2>So it shows Matt Striker and Vampiro here. Uh, they
<v Speaker 2>have a new setup from the first episode and uh
<v Speaker 2>it looks awesome.
<v Speaker 1>Is this like from a different episode? Huh was this
<v Speaker 1>put in like separately because the table they show here
<v Speaker 1>definitely doesn't look like the table that they interact within
<v Speaker 1>the main event.
<v Speaker 2>Oh maybe there's like a well, like maybe they have
<v Speaker 2>like a table that they record stuff after a cold shot.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's right.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, just to sort of preempt the pre tape.
<v Speaker 1>Here, because there's shots later where they show the commentary
<v Speaker 1>with Jeff Jarrett or somebody looks just like Jeff Jarreed
<v Speaker 1>sitting behind them, and that's not the shot here. So yeah,
<v Speaker 1>maybe they had to redoce some shit or added some
<v Speaker 1>shit in after to talk about milmoretz YadA, YadA, YadA.
<v Speaker 2>I like the shot though, it looks nice.
<v Speaker 1>It does look cool. Yeah, not as much of your
<v Speaker 1>your camera this week, though, the little h the side camera.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, I guess the go pro they got off
<v Speaker 2>of a garage sale website probably just wasn't gonna cut it.
<v Speaker 1>Vanfer kept standing up and fucking up all the shots
<v Speaker 1>so they had nothing to use.
<v Speaker 2>Well, Striker says that milm ware Tes is coming tonight
<v Speaker 2>and he's coming for you.
<v Speaker 1>Hell, mel Mortz translates to one thousand deaths, which that's
<v Speaker 1>fucking scary at shit.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, with that, there was a Spike TV show called
<v Speaker 2>that or something A thousand Ways to Die. Yeah, that's
<v Speaker 2>probably right.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and every week for some reason there was just
<v Speaker 1>some iteration of guy wants to have sex with a
<v Speaker 1>really really big woman and dies.
<v Speaker 2>We know what pops are ratings.
<v Speaker 1>Mil Moritz is here to show you one thousand other
<v Speaker 1>ways to die or he just kills you. So we
<v Speaker 1>get a mill morts hype video here. There's a female
<v Speaker 1>voiceover talking about talking about what I'm saying. You know,
<v Speaker 1>one thing is certain, A thousand deaths are coming and
<v Speaker 1>mil Mortes will make his debut tonight. And this dude
<v Speaker 1>is a I mean, he is a staple of this show.
<v Speaker 1>So this is a pretty big debut already.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I love the I love the way the pretape
<v Speaker 2>was here. It was very unnerving. We don't know who
<v Speaker 2>the woman is doing the voiceover, but I believe it
<v Speaker 2>ends up being Katrina here in a bit, Yes, we
<v Speaker 2>are in the bowels of the temple. It zooms in
<v Speaker 2>on milm waretes and he's screaming great masks.
<v Speaker 1>Its shot right, like you kind of see him, but
<v Speaker 1>it's not yeah, a full view. You just kind of
<v Speaker 1>see his jump, yeah right, yeah exactly, and he walks away.
<v Speaker 1>You see how fucking big he is?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean, great use of Judas mas see us here,
<v Speaker 2>because like I don't think in the end it ever
<v Speaker 2>really worked out for him in TNA, Like people really
<v Speaker 2>just didn't buy into it. But he's huge and like
<v Speaker 2>this mask is awesome, Like everything about this just screams
<v Speaker 2>like this is gonna work. So it's dope to to
<v Speaker 2>see this.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, his most important run was in a company
<v Speaker 1>a lot of people compared to this one, of course,
<v Speaker 1>being Wrestling Society.
<v Speaker 2>X oh that's true. Sure if that was his defining run, Like.
<v Speaker 1>How do you I'm surprising Vampiro and commentary should have
<v Speaker 1>been talking about this. Hey fucking this guy throw a
<v Speaker 1>fireball at me and killed the company. Milmore says, being
<v Speaker 1>a thousand deaths means a thousand bad companies I'm working for.
<v Speaker 2>I've killed a thousand companies. I about to make one
<v Speaker 2>thousand and one and he does. So we have Son
<v Speaker 2>of Havoc and Evalis versus Chava Gerra Junior and Sexy Star.
<v Speaker 1>There was a cool shot, by the way, just a
<v Speaker 1>transition out of the commercial here where they they showed
<v Speaker 1>and you you talked about it before the biggest sign
<v Speaker 1>that's on top of the temple. They did a shot
<v Speaker 1>that went from super close on that to zooming down
<v Speaker 1>and that which went into the temple, which I was like, wow,
<v Speaker 1>that is fucking awesome.
<v Speaker 2>We have Vampiro here. He says that Chavo seems to
<v Speaker 2>be in good spirits seeing they tapped out the blue Damon,
<v Speaker 2>something I would never do. By the way, this dude
<v Speaker 2>is so funny man, Like, there's just something so funny
<v Speaker 2>about everything. He says.
<v Speaker 1>He's such a shitter, like you know, he's riven the
<v Speaker 1>boys crazy too, like god damn. So this is of
<v Speaker 1>course a mixed tag matches, as you mentioned the participants,
<v Speaker 1>and if you didn't know it was a mixed tag match,
<v Speaker 1>if you just if you didn't, if you close your
<v Speaker 1>eyes during this match, you would know, because they don't
<v Speaker 1>fucking stop talking about it this whole time.
<v Speaker 2>They don't.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, Striker says, normally a mix tag matches. The men
<v Speaker 1>wrestle the men, and the women wrestle the women, but
<v Speaker 1>not here, and Vampiro says, the other guys. Other promotions
<v Speaker 1>won't let girls mix it up with the guys. But
<v Speaker 1>this is twenty fourteen. This is looch underground, this is
<v Speaker 1>equal opportunity, dog, And I'm like, okay, listen, not a
<v Speaker 1>fucking bad way to go, Dick. I don't remember, you
<v Speaker 1>know how things were twenty fourteen. I remember Candice Larraye
<v Speaker 1>just getting annihilated every show I watched. I don't know, dude,
<v Speaker 1>there was a lot of intergender stuff going on on
<v Speaker 1>the wrestling I was watching, but maybe not as much
<v Speaker 1>on TV regardless.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they didn't compare themselves to that. They compare themselves
<v Speaker 2>to a WWE.
<v Speaker 1>So right, yeah, exactly, And I guess yeah, see, I mean, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I guess it's mostly WWE, right, Like, I don't know
<v Speaker 1>how much TNA was even a factor at this point.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean ODB and Eric Young, were they not? Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>True, that's true. Yeah, so you know again not I
<v Speaker 1>I totally get it. But they spend this whole fucking
<v Speaker 1>match like harping on the fact that these dudes are
<v Speaker 1>wrestling women and stuff, and he like it takes It's like, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>this isn't normal then, huh, Like you have to keep
<v Speaker 1>fucking telling me that this is what this is and
<v Speaker 1>this is how it should be. You're ramming it on
<v Speaker 1>my throat like okay, holy shit, Like if you keep
<v Speaker 1>having to make me look at how different it is,
<v Speaker 1>it's not different. You're making it not normal.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, the other promotions don't let the girls mix it up. Well,
<v Speaker 2>guess what, it's twenty fourteen, dumb ass.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you earl.
<v Speaker 2>Hell yeah, no problem. I just thought I.
<v Speaker 1>Would also, So yeah, they do all that right. And
<v Speaker 1>then immediately after that, fucking Matt Striker says, well, you know,
<v Speaker 1>son of Havoc needed to pull the tights to beat
<v Speaker 1>a woman. Okay, what like, which way we're going?
<v Speaker 2>Can you show can you show us where you pulled
<v Speaker 2>the tights?
<v Speaker 1>Please? Fucking any proof of that?
<v Speaker 2>Ball? Vnpira also says, uh, if you want to fight,
<v Speaker 2>just show up to the temple. If you got the
<v Speaker 2>right size cock and balls, you come down here to
<v Speaker 2>the temple and you try to fight, you try to
<v Speaker 2>fight me.
<v Speaker 1>He legit says, you got the right sized balls?
<v Speaker 2>He says, you got the right size three piece set,
<v Speaker 2>you come down here to the temple.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, this.
<v Speaker 2>Guy is so funny, like it's it's nuts.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if I've ever heard dick of Balls
<v Speaker 1>described as pretty set to take that up here? Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I like that.
<v Speaker 2>Well that's it's loaded. Yeah, so son of Havoc and
<v Speaker 2>Chavo start off. Of course, the chops sound insane here.
<v Speaker 1>It's the whole show, dude, like you got your You'll
<v Speaker 1>get used to it, but it's legit. Every strike like
<v Speaker 1>that will be that sound.
<v Speaker 2>I will say. Uh, the audio mix here is a
<v Speaker 2>lot better than it was in week one, dude.
<v Speaker 1>It actually was so much better that I thought the
<v Speaker 1>commentary was like all redone, But right.
<v Speaker 2>I don't think it was either. I definitely think some
<v Speaker 2>parts of it were U in this match specifically. I'll
<v Speaker 2>talk about it here in a minute, but sure I
<v Speaker 2>did just about dieing this part. Matt Striker says Sexy
<v Speaker 2>Star would love to get her hand on Havoc, and
<v Speaker 2>Vampire says, technically, Matt, that's not Havoc, that's having Sun.
<v Speaker 1>Matt Shriker ignores them immediately and says, I have it
<v Speaker 1>going for h.
<v Speaker 2>Chase due, So I wrote it.
<v Speaker 1>I legit wrote down here. Fucking he said, Matt, that's
<v Speaker 1>not having that's having sun It right after I said,
<v Speaker 1>oh no, shot the possum.
<v Speaker 2>That shit hit me like a brick. That's haavcs sun Heart.
<v Speaker 2>Oh man, wow, yeah, just an all star Vampio episode here, man.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, all right, if we're gonna keep talking about Vampire,
<v Speaker 1>there's a part a little bit before that where Chavo
<v Speaker 1>is grabbing Havoc's beard and he's pulling him by the beard,
<v Speaker 1>and Vampiro say, is careful, get that beard right off
<v Speaker 1>of his face. And he's an ugly bastard. You don't
<v Speaker 1>want to.
<v Speaker 5>See that, hey man, he did say it on the
<v Speaker 5>Spanish one.
<v Speaker 2>So Sexy Star gets the tag. She goes to town
<v Speaker 2>on Son of Havoc. Of course she lost to him
<v Speaker 2>last week. Evalise and Sexy Star faced off for a
<v Speaker 2>minute here, and the editing here is so absurd.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god.
<v Speaker 2>There are three different cold lines from commentary. We are
<v Speaker 2>cutting to full shots of Son of Havoc. We're switched
<v Speaker 2>to the top cam for no reason. I had to
<v Speaker 2>literally like take a second pause because my brain couldn't
<v Speaker 2>comprehend what the linear shot was supposed to be. I
<v Speaker 2>didn't know what was happening.
<v Speaker 1>It felt like a bad recording, right, Like I thought
<v Speaker 1>something got like cut out like of what I was watching,
<v Speaker 1>like the upload. But no, it was like.
<v Speaker 2>They just just how it was.
<v Speaker 1>They couldn't cover up for them fuck.
<v Speaker 2>It up here, Yeah it was. It was like it
<v Speaker 2>was a lot.
<v Speaker 1>Sadly, it was probably the best they could have done
<v Speaker 1>with what they had, unless they legit cut out a
<v Speaker 1>full segment of like their shit here, which I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if they could have because it leads to like
<v Speaker 1>an outside spot that leads to the rest of the match,
<v Speaker 1>like just tough.
<v Speaker 2>And then it cuts to Vampiro, who says, son of
<v Speaker 2>hev it kind of looked like a sixteenth century executioner.
<v Speaker 1>That Striker like ignores him ninety percent of the time,
<v Speaker 1>just fucking lets him go, oh.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, this is this is an all star performance. I
<v Speaker 2>gotta say one of my favorite commentary performances, uh for
<v Speaker 2>Vampire or.
<v Speaker 1>Which is I mean, he like gets crazier, dude, like
<v Speaker 1>he's on all four seasons, dude. Striker at one point
<v Speaker 1>says Java was ranked one of the top ten loutra
<v Speaker 1>doors in the world at one point, and Vampiro says, yeah, well,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think Sona Havoc was, and I think Chevo's
<v Speaker 1>stock is dropped. Last week very Son caught him, Shavo.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, well, Vampio would have never tapped out of Blue d.
<v Speaker 1>He might be to you, brother.
<v Speaker 2>So Sexy Star blocks the standing moon saw, which leads
<v Speaker 2>to Chavo getting a hot tag. Chavo comes in with fire,
<v Speaker 2>hits a Coppo kick in the corner on Son of Havoc.
<v Speaker 2>That was cool, and Evelise breaks it up. Uh. Sexy
<v Speaker 2>Star hits a meteor off the apron to Evelise.
<v Speaker 1>That was fucking pretty, like she almost jumped over her
<v Speaker 1>like missing.
<v Speaker 2>Chavo goes up, he hits the frog splash. He tags
<v Speaker 2>a Sexy Star who comes in with a victory roll
<v Speaker 2>and picks up the wind.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. I get again, I get what they were going
<v Speaker 1>for with this match. The fucking harping on the ship
<v Speaker 1>just really took me out of it. Son of Havoc
<v Speaker 1>is dope, though I like him a lot.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I believe from what I remember reading, Sona Havoc's
<v Speaker 2>gimmick changes quite a bit or at least his character
<v Speaker 2>not its gimmick.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, yeah, he kind of on the show changes. Right,
<v Speaker 1>that's right.
<v Speaker 2>We go to a pre tape here Blue Daymon is
<v Speaker 2>working out in full gear at the gym at the
<v Speaker 2>bottom of the temple.
<v Speaker 1>I think he's got some weights. And uh, is this
<v Speaker 1>the same area you think Prince Puma also worked out
<v Speaker 1>in or is this a different one?
<v Speaker 2>Oh, I don't know. I did see some equipment here
<v Speaker 2>on the ground Puma usually works out. There's some ring somewhere.
<v Speaker 1>Which is a different like that's not the Temple ring,
<v Speaker 1>it's a different.
<v Speaker 2>Rich underground had like pe See.
<v Speaker 1>They were way ahead of the time here. You think
<v Speaker 1>Blue Demon also not using any of this workout equipment.
<v Speaker 1>He was just warming up like we was just.
<v Speaker 2>Kind of moving left and right right. It was like
<v Speaker 2>one of those deal wrestler you hit the ropes right, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>get a little loose. Yeah, right. Well, a woman walks
<v Speaker 2>up behind him. He doesn't see her or hear her.
<v Speaker 2>She goes to touch him on the back and when
<v Speaker 2>he turns around, she disappears.
<v Speaker 1>He's going senile.
<v Speaker 2>And then she just walks in front of him. Oh,
<v Speaker 2>sorry to me, Garry.
<v Speaker 1>So this is she introduces herself. She says she's an
<v Speaker 1>associate of mil Mortez and she's Katrina, and mill sends
<v Speaker 1>a message and then Katrina licks his face and I
<v Speaker 1>was like, oh, that's a mighty interesting message to send.
<v Speaker 1>And she says a taste before one thousand deaths. And
<v Speaker 1>then there's someone this shot here the actually show is
<v Speaker 1>really cool. It's a close up shot of Blue Damont's
<v Speaker 1>face and there's intense music playing and he wipes his
<v Speaker 1>face off and he's looking like not too thrilled again.
<v Speaker 1>I thought it was cool, just funny. Milmore Tes sends
<v Speaker 1>a message.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, he was gonna do this, but I guess
<v Speaker 2>I'll do it. So this is the debut of Katrina
<v Speaker 2>and putting her here with milmare Tez. This is the
<v Speaker 2>debut of two new characters here in the main event.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, and they're like yeah, like like I mentioned
<v Speaker 1>they you know, they are staples of this show for
<v Speaker 1>a while after this, I think, guess we didn't talk
<v Speaker 1>about it. I don't know how many people would remember her
<v Speaker 1>in WWE, but she was in WWEH for a cup
<v Speaker 1>of Coffee? She was Maxine in WWE. She might have
<v Speaker 1>been was she like nxt GM or some shit like that.
<v Speaker 1>Am I remembering that wrong?
<v Speaker 2>I remember her being around Johnny Curtis.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, yeah, that's right. I do remember that as well.
<v Speaker 2>It's pretty much it. I don't know she was actually
<v Speaker 2>doing anything with Johnny Curtis or she was just around him.
<v Speaker 1>I think he was just maybe he was around her,
<v Speaker 1>is what it was, because he was a weirdvestar.
<v Speaker 2>So we go to a pre tape here Prince Puma
<v Speaker 2>is training with Conan, and Conan talks about, you know,
<v Speaker 2>more about Prince Puma's tribe in the Aztec and things
<v Speaker 2>of that nature.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, Puma's going to town on a heavy bag. Blue
<v Speaker 1>Damon's looking at him like this kid's fucking just lost it. No,
<v Speaker 1>Blue was not here. She was the funny shit. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>Conan's hyping him up. And he says he's always scouting
<v Speaker 1>for talent. But one of close friends, someone you might
<v Speaker 1>all know, said he found a new star for me
<v Speaker 1>to train. I never thought he would have found him
<v Speaker 1>in the worst bodios in the country, And he said
<v Speaker 1>he found him in a back alley literally fighting for
<v Speaker 1>his life. Normally his pal would have stepped into help,
<v Speaker 1>but he didn't need any help. I'll be honest, I
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure this is explained. I don't fucking remember who
<v Speaker 1>they're talking about, though, that's got to be the Rock
<v Speaker 1>was definitely talk Oh you know what, I wonder if
<v Speaker 1>it's fucking Ray Oh okay, because he comes here spoilers.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, okay, right, which is a good seed to plant, by.
<v Speaker 1>The way, yes, oh my god. Yeah, I mean even
<v Speaker 1>if it's not Ray, right, like just having something to
<v Speaker 1>kind of throw back to here, But I think it
<v Speaker 1>might be because remember they were in the Filthy Animals together, right.
<v Speaker 2>Of course they're gonna hump you like the dog, right,
<v Speaker 2>calling a soldier, I'd be pretty cool.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, Ray saw this Prince Puma guy fighting and
<v Speaker 1>didn't step up to help him. He just said, ah,
<v Speaker 1>fuck you got something your kid?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, cool, good deal. You know, Conane only has a
<v Speaker 2>couple of rules here when train hard and fuck Johnny Mundo.
<v Speaker 1>That's fun with me.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I'm not seeing this evil part that Vampire is
<v Speaker 2>talking about yet, but you will. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I think he says Prince Puma is a direct descendant
<v Speaker 1>one of the fiercest renegade tribes of the Stext and
<v Speaker 1>he's bringing Prince Puma Alucha Underground because it's his calling.
<v Speaker 1>His past may be dark, but his future is very bright.
<v Speaker 1>And then Prince Puma hits a big ass shot on
<v Speaker 1>this heavy bag and knocks it off the chains, which
<v Speaker 1>is cool.
<v Speaker 2>Street fighter asque. Yeah, he hit the bag, it falls down.
<v Speaker 2>I thought it was gonna go to like a still
<v Speaker 2>shot where it's like Prince Puma joins the fight.
<v Speaker 1>He should have jumped on top of it and started a
<v Speaker 1>ground and pounded. Conan has to pull him off. I
<v Speaker 1>took it too.
<v Speaker 2>You're killing him. You don't kill here in the Temple.
<v Speaker 1>It cuts from an alternate shot. It's not actually a
<v Speaker 1>heavy bag. He's just beating the fucking a Blue Demon.
<v Speaker 1>Oh fuck, oh fuck, I didn't realize.
<v Speaker 2>So we have the main event of the evening here,
<v Speaker 2>Blue Damon Junior versus milm ware Tes. Blue Damon is
<v Speaker 2>undefeated here in the Temple, and will uh, I'm gonna
<v Speaker 2>fuck his name up here. Milt Tests is making his
<v Speaker 2>debut with Katrina.
<v Speaker 1>From Beyond the Gray. That's what an awesome place to
<v Speaker 1>be from beyond the grave, dude.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, so this is my first time really getting a
<v Speaker 2>full picture here of Milmour because Blue day, Mond's already
<v Speaker 2>in the ring and we get the entrance here the
<v Speaker 2>lights go out. Mill comes out here with Katrina. Katrina
<v Speaker 2>looks great the way they have her set up here
<v Speaker 2>on this show. It really compliments Mill and looks like
<v Speaker 2>a main event act. They make their injurant the lights out.
<v Speaker 2>You know, she has something in her hand is wrapped
<v Speaker 2>in red vlore. I think we find out eventually it's
<v Speaker 2>some sort of stone or something like that, dude, which
<v Speaker 2>is an Easter egg we've gotten to tonight is coming
<v Speaker 2>to Underground.
<v Speaker 1>Wow, I mean, like fuck, dude, there's so much to
<v Speaker 1>catch up on here. I'm excited.
<v Speaker 2>So Katrina gives Mill this, uh it's a stone I'm guessing,
<v Speaker 2>and it's wrapped around you can't get blood from the stone.
<v Speaker 2>Is coming to the temple, That's right. The cat.
<v Speaker 1>Just shipped to be honest, but yes, it gives him
<v Speaker 1>the stone and he becauses it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, And you know, I'm just trying to take in
<v Speaker 2>this whole, this whole gimmick here. Nothing really comes to
<v Speaker 2>play with the stone in this episode, so I'm interested
<v Speaker 2>to see how that kind of plays out over the
<v Speaker 2>next couple I imagine with how crazy this show seems
<v Speaker 2>to get because you already told me about Dario's deal
<v Speaker 2>what happens to him later on, This stone might as
<v Speaker 2>well steal the souls of the people in the ring
<v Speaker 2>and they die. I don't know what, but I imagine it's
<v Speaker 2>something pretty insane.
<v Speaker 1>I will keep I've enough for you. I'm gonna try
<v Speaker 1>not to going forward. It's a little hard, but I'll
<v Speaker 1>do my best.
<v Speaker 2>But as I mentioned, Katrina looks great. Here really compliments
<v Speaker 2>I made of act is this. I'm guessing most people
<v Speaker 2>that know her probably know her from this role. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>she didn't do very much in w w E from
<v Speaker 2>what I remember now, Yes, yeah, and like this is
<v Speaker 2>probably her defining role in the business, which is pretty cool. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, you know, it's a good act.
<v Speaker 1>She's she's fucking fantastic, dude. And yeah, like the this
<v Speaker 1>is even like barely even scratches the surface of what
<v Speaker 1>they do with her.
<v Speaker 2>And yeah, like I said, like Mill has a great mask.
<v Speaker 2>He's massive, you know, he's got I mean, he just
<v Speaker 2>he's got muscles on muscles, He's popping out of these
<v Speaker 2>these big tights he's got on. He's got a great cape,
<v Speaker 2>good entrance, I was super surprised though in my head
<v Speaker 2>from the pre tapes, I expected like ninety six Undertaker.
<v Speaker 2>Mmmm okay, and then we start the match and he
<v Speaker 2>takes all the gear off and the lights come on
<v Speaker 2>and he's got the blue stripe pants.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, Okay, this is uh you are you are truly
<v Speaker 1>becoming a loot underground fan. This was made fun of
<v Speaker 1>immediately at the time.
<v Speaker 2>Really okay, okay.
<v Speaker 1>A talking point. Yes, no, this was a talking That's
<v Speaker 1>why I waited to the show h to talk about it. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>The the pinstripe blue pants look, at least in my circles,
<v Speaker 1>was talked about. Is this looks fucking ridiculous, Like this
<v Speaker 1>is not intimidating at all, Like it does not fit,
<v Speaker 1>like it felt like he didn't have gear ready because
<v Speaker 1>this is just so you know, this does change.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Right, There's a couple of things that threw me
<v Speaker 2>off here about this character because the way they set
<v Speaker 2>it up here. You know, he's a thousand deaths. You know,
<v Speaker 2>there's this big stone that he carries around that seemingly
<v Speaker 2>can kill people. I'm just guessing that's what it does.
<v Speaker 1>Sure, Sure, you know he's.
<v Speaker 2>Got a valet who who had who has her own gimmick?
<v Speaker 2>So like, yeah, it is a very like I think
<v Speaker 2>it's supposed to be, like not Undertaker esque, but in
<v Speaker 2>that same vein of.
<v Speaker 1>Like he right, he's a he's a beyond this world
<v Speaker 1>kind of saying.
<v Speaker 2>Up blood from himself. He's not. Yeah, yeah, that's a
<v Speaker 2>business half brother, but this guy. Yeah, just a couple
<v Speaker 2>of questions. I'll follow up here as we get through
<v Speaker 2>this match here. But overall, by the way, I was
<v Speaker 2>impressed with uh with.
<v Speaker 1>Us all here, So this is obviously the first time
<v Speaker 1>he's doing this right, Like, so you'll see as it
<v Speaker 1>goes on here. I mean even little things like when
<v Speaker 1>he was getting into the ring he pushed the camera.
<v Speaker 1>The camera thing actually becomes like a staple of his entrance.
<v Speaker 2>So like, yeah, I heard is like scared when it
<v Speaker 2>comes out.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, I mean he fought like he figures this. They
<v Speaker 1>kind of get to where this should be pretty quickly.
<v Speaker 2>He should like hold the stone up and the red
<v Speaker 2>valor and the camera starts like goingating. Yeah. Seven, he
<v Speaker 2>comes to the ring like seven, and then Katrina grabs
<v Speaker 2>the mic and says, this gimmick almost ruined his career
<v Speaker 2>to nineties Judas must see us terrorist and it is
<v Speaker 2>half brothers here too. So we start the match off here.
<v Speaker 2>Moretez immediately takes it to Blue Damon. Here they head
<v Speaker 2>to the desk and uh Moretez bounces Damon's head off
<v Speaker 2>the desk.
<v Speaker 1>He's whooping his ass.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah really. Damon does a standing shotgun drop kick and
<v Speaker 2>does the ar Fox clap.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, Oh see, this is this is why,
<v Speaker 1>like I mean, like you're you're the best, like I
<v Speaker 1>legit wrote. Uh, Damon ducks two punches and hits a
<v Speaker 1>front dropkick air Fox style clap.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, he really full sends it.
<v Speaker 1>Like I I in my brain. But maybe dude, maybe
<v Speaker 1>that's the Blue Damon clap. Maybe were credit wrong?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, maybe Fox like wrestled in Mexico and saw it
<v Speaker 2>or nothing. I don't know how that works. Or maybe
<v Speaker 2>Damon saw it was.
<v Speaker 1>There is a good chance. I mean, listen, air Fox
<v Speaker 1>might end up here too.
<v Speaker 2>Is air Fox? He's in a Oh my god, he is.
<v Speaker 2>We watched the fucking match, right, wow? How about that?
<v Speaker 1>That's exciting it all comes.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that was a great match too. So Blue Daymon
<v Speaker 2>is up in this match here till Katrina distracts him
<v Speaker 2>on the apron.
<v Speaker 1>That's where he wrote this segle from sorry On.
<v Speaker 2>So Mouretz distracts the referee here, and Katrina kicks Daimon
<v Speaker 2>in the head with her heels.
<v Speaker 1>Fucked up man.
<v Speaker 2>Daimon hits a bulldog for two. He climbs the ropes here,
<v Speaker 2>but wil Ware, I'm gonna fuck this guy's.
<v Speaker 1>Name, dude, it took, it takes forever. You're good.
<v Speaker 2>I have to almost like full stop after I say
<v Speaker 2>his first name, uh mil Wuertas.
<v Speaker 1>You got you say it how Melissa Santo says it
<v Speaker 1>yield from beyond the great.
<v Speaker 2>I'll say it like that every single So Mauretes stops him.
<v Speaker 2>He hits a code breaker for a two or was
<v Speaker 2>it a backstabberd.
<v Speaker 1>All long blower? Yes, it's all the yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Right right, okay. Daimon has a d DT for a
<v Speaker 2>two and chops down Wheretes in the corner until the
<v Speaker 2>crowd just starts counting with them.
<v Speaker 1>I thought that was they love that ship they I mean,
<v Speaker 1>they're begging for some crowd participation here.
<v Speaker 2>Wheretz then uses a closed fist and just punches Damon
<v Speaker 2>in the head. I love that.
<v Speaker 1>That's one of his moves. Yeah, dude, he's a and
<v Speaker 1>you get the loose on the ground slap with it
<v Speaker 1>as well. Of course.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah that's Memphis where tes right there did a little heat.
<v Speaker 2>Uh So Muertz spears him and then he hits a
<v Speaker 2>flat liner and he wins.
<v Speaker 1>That's his move, the flat That's.
<v Speaker 2>What I wanted to talk about with you too. Did
<v Speaker 2>not expect a flat liner to be the finish?
<v Speaker 1>No one did.
<v Speaker 2>Is this is finished the whole time it is.
<v Speaker 1>It's called the straight to Hell.
<v Speaker 2>All right, I'll take it hell yeah, down to hell.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Well, like most of the guys he faces have, like
<v Speaker 2>I'm guessing they have top rope moves, he didn't want
<v Speaker 2>to do like a twoy choke slam as his finish
<v Speaker 2>or something like. He always cuts them off and choke
<v Speaker 2>slams them.
<v Speaker 1>He's I mean, his body might be beat the ship
<v Speaker 1>already here in twenty fourteen, he's been going.
<v Speaker 2>He definitely was. Yeah, it definitely was already.
<v Speaker 1>Because I want to say he's still he's been wrestling
<v Speaker 1>since the nineties.
<v Speaker 2>I want to say, but like, if your body's beat
<v Speaker 2>the ship and your finishes, you taking a flat.
<v Speaker 1>Bat Dad's swell. I didn't say it was smart. Is
<v Speaker 1>there any flat liner that's like good?
<v Speaker 2>So I like the flat liner like as a regular move,
<v Speaker 2>I just as a I mean, okay, especially with the
<v Speaker 2>way they position him here. Sure you know, while this
<v Speaker 2>might be like nitpicky, I think if you're presented as
<v Speaker 2>a thousand deaths.
<v Speaker 1>And you're huge, you should have a killer move.
<v Speaker 2>You know, you have a main event push and you're
<v Speaker 2>seen as like the facto number one guy.
<v Speaker 1>M hm.
<v Speaker 2>Can't be a flat liner. It just can't be.
<v Speaker 1>You're right, No, I don't. I don't. I legit, And
<v Speaker 1>I'm glad that you bring that up too, because like
<v Speaker 1>this is stuff that I am like I've already I've
<v Speaker 1>seen it so much that like I've just accepted the
<v Speaker 1>flat line, like yeah, that's his fucking kill move, like
<v Speaker 1>I'm there already, but like hearing it from somebody that
<v Speaker 1>is not used to it is it's an interesting look
<v Speaker 1>on it. I like that, uh and usually and I agree,
<v Speaker 1>I mean it's also it's not a great flat liner either,
<v Speaker 1>Like it's not like Shelton Vegamin or whatever he's like
<v Speaker 1>for it.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I'm already used to it, like by the
<v Speaker 2>next episode, like, flat liner will be cool. It was
<v Speaker 2>just something that stuck out to me. Those are the
<v Speaker 2>two big things that stuck out to me in this
<v Speaker 2>pants it was it was damn near perfect. It was
<v Speaker 2>his pants right, and the flat liner finished like everything else.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, Wow, this is like super dialed in.
<v Speaker 2>They've already got this idea down. Maybe Damon got a
<v Speaker 2>little too much in the middle there. Sure here, but
<v Speaker 2>I imagine Blue Demon say, if Champa Grea is gonna
<v Speaker 2>beat my ass, then I better get something in this
<v Speaker 2>main here.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, Okay, that's one hundred percent what it was. Like.
<v Speaker 1>You gotta make me look like I'm I mean, which
<v Speaker 1>isn't a bad argument, right, Like, if people are going
<v Speaker 1>to give a shit that I'm gonna die, you gotta
<v Speaker 1>make it seem like I meant something when I was alive.
<v Speaker 2>So yeah, Muertees hits the flat Liner, he wins the match,
<v Speaker 2>He mounts Daimon, he punches the shit out of him,
<v Speaker 2>and this is where Katrina gives him the rock, which
<v Speaker 2>is an Easter egg for what's to come.
<v Speaker 1>Which is awesome. Yeah, I mean, he gives him that
<v Speaker 1>that stone.
<v Speaker 2>Katrina brings in the rock and Codin and Puma bringing
<v Speaker 2>Stone Cold.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, just one, and we have the games
<v Speaker 1>hell of War with Austin and Rock.
<v Speaker 2>That's their last match ever is Lucia underground Hell of
<v Speaker 2>It would have.
<v Speaker 1>Been sweet, would have been awesome. But uh, you know,
<v Speaker 1>Chavo's here.
<v Speaker 2>Oh right, we're still in that era, right, m.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I gotta get through that first.
<v Speaker 2>So Katrina givesim where tes the rock and Chava makes
<v Speaker 2>the save with the.
<v Speaker 1>Chair steel chair by the way, which you know, of
<v Speaker 1>course the Castro and Cortez. Oh no, that's that's fucking see.
<v Speaker 1>I'm Matt Striker, that one. Cisco and Cortez had the
<v Speaker 1>wooden chairs earlier. Chavo the holder of the steel chair.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, So Damon comes over and he pats Chavo on
<v Speaker 2>the back because everything. Hey, man, make sure you don't
<v Speaker 2>have me too hard now. Chavo then turns around and
<v Speaker 2>hits him in the head with the chair.
<v Speaker 1>Come on, man, why why Chava? Why?
<v Speaker 2>Then the refs come in and Chava bumps them too.
<v Speaker 1>Dude. Rick knocks with the He's already got a broken
<v Speaker 1>freaking arm. He laid him out.
<v Speaker 2>Fucked up bone, still bumping for Chavo here like, crowd, Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I know, good guy.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, Chavo's beating the ship out of Blue daymon
<v Speaker 1>crowd shanning why Chavo hy? Uh they can't believe that
<v Speaker 1>he would do this.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and then uh, some more Luca doors running the ring.
<v Speaker 1>Did you recoon? One of them you should recognize?
<v Speaker 2>One of them was Bee Boy.
<v Speaker 1>That was gonna say one of them should recognize because.
<v Speaker 2>You yeah, he was the.
<v Speaker 1>B Boy DPW alumni. B Boy, dude, you can't.
<v Speaker 2>Be Indiana legend. Pick one was that that was the
<v Speaker 2>same not you type.
<v Speaker 1>BoJack too, that's right, yeah him and uh, yeah, that's right.
<v Speaker 1>It was BoJack and Jay and became Lucky jumped them
<v Speaker 1>and the other the belt up and then we were
<v Speaker 1>off to the races.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah that's right. Uh that that led like a year
<v Speaker 2>and a half DPW stuff.
<v Speaker 1>Really, that's fucking good memories of that me too. Man,
<v Speaker 1>what a what a time.
<v Speaker 2>So Sexy Star runs in and pleads with him to
<v Speaker 2>stop Chavo. Then brain Sexy Star with the chair h
<v Speaker 2>and that is a huge.
<v Speaker 1>Moment, lays her out, dude. Crowds like, oh what the fuck?
<v Speaker 1>And uh, I mean they are god God bless I
<v Speaker 1>was gonna say, God bless them. I mean, I guess
<v Speaker 1>i'd be blessing Chavo. God blessed Chavo for trying to
<v Speaker 1>get this much heat on Chavo.
<v Speaker 2>Just so you know, if the rock doesn't go anywhere,
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna be so fucking upset.
<v Speaker 1>We'll see, we'll see rock. I mean like, there's a
<v Speaker 1>lot of things. There's a couple of things you haven't
<v Speaker 1>even noticed that become of importance here that I'm I'm
<v Speaker 1>keeping really cool. Okay, yes, yes.
<v Speaker 2>Well Chavo brain's sexy star with that chair. We're going
<v Speaker 2>somewhere with Chavo now he's turned heel infinitely more interesting
<v Speaker 2>than face Chavo of course, And the EMTs come out
<v Speaker 2>here with a stretcher and they put Blue Demon on
<v Speaker 2>the stretcher and Chavo sits in the chair and laughs.
<v Speaker 1>I thought it was that, you know, they come out
<v Speaker 1>one stretcher, two amts. There's like a litany of bodies
<v Speaker 1>just sprawled out, like of course they're going to go
<v Speaker 1>to Blue Day Mom. But I was like, okay, like
<v Speaker 1>maybe one of the refs got killed more. Blue Day
<v Speaker 1>Moon's probably used to getting hit with a chair prot
<v Speaker 1>doesn't get stretched out.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I actually really liked that the EMTs went through
<v Speaker 2>all the steps, Like they locked him into the gurney. Yes,
<v Speaker 2>but the neck brace, they put the head stabilizer on,
<v Speaker 2>they forgot to oxygen ate his.
<v Speaker 1>Eyes, which is a big part of that, and that's,
<v Speaker 1>you know, obviously comes part of the story.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, they locked him into the gurney here, and Chavo
<v Speaker 2>then goes and attacks him while he's on the gurney.
<v Speaker 1>He's like trying to drag him back into the ring.
<v Speaker 1>That EMTs physically have to hold onto the fucking board
<v Speaker 1>that he's on to keep them from sucking them back
<v Speaker 1>into the ring and kicking his ass. I thought that
<v Speaker 1>was pretty funny, actually, I like that.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, reminded me of the big Shug grabbing raymisterio and
<v Speaker 2>smacking them against the turbocle post.
<v Speaker 1>Dude, I mean, like, that's unbelievable. He smacks him against
<v Speaker 1>a turnbocal and drops him in Raylan's with his arms tied,
<v Speaker 1>head wirst on the ground.
<v Speaker 2>Dude. Yeah, bounces too. It's tough.
<v Speaker 1>He should have did, I swear?
<v Speaker 2>I remember maybe it's Mandela effect, but there was something
<v Speaker 2>that happened in some company where like a guy was
<v Speaker 2>on a stretcher and somebody double foot stomped him from
<v Speaker 2>like the top or something. Oh god, Uh, someone somewhere
<v Speaker 2>will remember what I'm talking about, or we just all
<v Speaker 2>have the same Mendela effect.
<v Speaker 1>The one that's coming to mind for me is Jacob
<v Speaker 1>Fatu doing that to somebody on a board in MLW.
<v Speaker 1>He did the like double dash. Was it the moon salt?
<v Speaker 2>Oh maybe it was the moon salt?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, the best whatever ship that hasn't happened. I mean
<v Speaker 1>the double stomp I swear happened. I just don't remember who.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, maybe somebody remembers. I just remember seeing that and
<v Speaker 2>just thinking it was maybe I dreamed about it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>for some reason, my brain does go to low key
<v Speaker 2>too right in the little suit. Yeah yes, yes, but yeah,
<v Speaker 2>maybe somebody knows. But either way, if it hasn't happened,
<v Speaker 2>you should give it a go. I mean, whoever does.
<v Speaker 2>It's got to be a little mean, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I mean you have to mean it has to fall
<v Speaker 1>over at least.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah it's got a break or yeah, I mean it's
<v Speaker 2>a dangerous ass spot but damn pretty cool would be sick.
<v Speaker 2>So yeah, Chavo beats his ass again. They pull him away,
<v Speaker 2>They take him to the back, They put him in
<v Speaker 2>the ambulance. The ambulance speeds off, music starts playing. Chavo's
<v Speaker 2>in the ring, taking in all the heat.
<v Speaker 1>The crowd channing, uh culero, I think, which I believe
<v Speaker 1>means asshole. Oh okay, yeah, I think that's that one.
<v Speaker 2>Oh okay, I didn't know that, all right.
<v Speaker 1>I hear that a lot. When if you fucking every
<v Speaker 1>West Coast pro shows that, yeah, Scott shout, they would
<v Speaker 1>know better than me. But I believe that's what that is.
<v Speaker 1>Now he'll make fun of me if he hears this.
<v Speaker 2>And that is it for Luca Underground, Season one, Episode two.
<v Speaker 2>A lot of stuff happened here on this episode.
<v Speaker 1>You get a lot, dude, and I want to just
<v Speaker 1>to go back just the second here. I actually really
<v Speaker 1>like how they framed the end of the show like
<v Speaker 1>it felt super television right. Like they have the ambulance shot,
<v Speaker 1>they got the music playing, the crowds pissed, Chavo's getting
<v Speaker 1>his heat. They showed the ambulance going away, and the
<v Speaker 1>last thing you see is the wide shot of the
<v Speaker 1>city with the siren in the background, like it's again
<v Speaker 1>it's a Chavo heel turn angle. But I was like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>that like felt really important. This last like two minutes
<v Speaker 1>of this.
<v Speaker 2>I swear to god, there was a Jersey Shore episode
<v Speaker 2>that and just like this, Oh.
<v Speaker 1>My god, probably situation got punched at a bar.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah it was that or snooky or something. I just
<v Speaker 2>remember that happening at the end of the episode. Was
<v Speaker 2>the ambulance blow off in the watch.
<v Speaker 1>Shot, dude happened. Yeah, uh but yeah, man, I mean
<v Speaker 1>there's shit's developing, right, you know, Milmore test is here.
<v Speaker 1>That's a big deal and uh yeah, I mean Big
<v Speaker 1>Rick and the boys and you fucking building up. Puma
<v Speaker 1>and Mundo got the sexy star stuff going on. Like
<v Speaker 1>there's a lot going on here. There's I mean, like
<v Speaker 1>it's it's nice to look back at it because a
<v Speaker 1>lot of this I really don't remember, Like there's bits
<v Speaker 1>and pieces I'll be like, oh, yeah, of course that
<v Speaker 1>part was like I know where this goes. But there's
<v Speaker 1>some stuff that I'm like, oh wow, fuck, that's where
<v Speaker 1>that started.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, right, And they picked up on everything really well.
<v Speaker 2>I like that Mundo and Puma picked up the wind
<v Speaker 2>with Big Rick like being pissed off looming because yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it leaves a lot to like wonder like, Okay, well,
<v Speaker 2>what the hell happens now with that? And I assumed
<v Speaker 2>this last for a little bit here in season one
<v Speaker 2>the very least. Uh So, I mean, does Big Rick
<v Speaker 2>he wrestles, right, I'm pretty sure he does? Yeah? So,
<v Speaker 2>I mean he's huge, man Like, Yeah, dude, he looks insane.
<v Speaker 1>He I mean he was. I don't know how much
<v Speaker 1>you remember him, w I mean he was a huge they.
<v Speaker 2>Do, yeah him? And yes, yes, yeah, they were both huge.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so he's still I mean, with.
<v Speaker 2>The little fucking shirt he's got on here, he looks
<v Speaker 2>just insane.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'm I'm I don't want to say for sure
<v Speaker 1>because I just don't remember, but I'm fucking fairly positive
<v Speaker 1>he's not just here to be a manager. So yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I'm pretty sure he wrestles.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, also, I think one of the cool things
<v Speaker 2>about having him here in Luca Underground is a lot
<v Speaker 2>of people here are smaller, so like he looks in
<v Speaker 2>comparison just even bigger than usual.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, especially fucking next like Puma and Chair
<v Speaker 1>right yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and and Cortez Castro and Cisco. He looks like
<v Speaker 2>a literally.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, he's the boss. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>And smoking cigar is such like a nice piece. There
<v Speaker 2>is like a cherry on top. Yeah. Just like I said,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, he hasn't even touched like anything concerned with
<v Speaker 2>wrestling yet, and I'm like, wow, this is one of
<v Speaker 2>the best wrestling characters they got at.
<v Speaker 1>That's what I can do.
<v Speaker 2>It's important to be able to recognize that, you know,
<v Speaker 2>like it is super important to be able to recognize that.
<v Speaker 2>I'm interested to see if how many episodes it takes
<v Speaker 2>for mill ware Tes to change the pants.
<v Speaker 1>To dude, I'm actually excited. There's so much here to
<v Speaker 1>uh to look forward to. Yeah. Man, like I said,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, this is the first time I think doing
<v Speaker 1>a back to back kind of a serious thing here
<v Speaker 1>on the pod, just because we're we're just excited to
<v Speaker 1>talk about this stuff and and and everyone else is
