NBA Offseason Grades: Utah’s gamble, Pistons’ roster shuffle & Magic on the rise
Kevin O’Connor is joined by Wosny Lambre to hand out offseason grades across the Eastern and Western Conferences, and EuroBasket. The duo debate Luka Doncic’s weight loss: is it functional or cosmetic? And will it do the Lakers any good regardless? Do the New York Knicks get a good grade for moving on from Thibs and hiring Mike Brown? And did the Orlando Magic make the right move by adding Desmond Bane? The also pair break down if Utah was right to keep Lauri Markkanen during their rebuild, and react to Giannis’s loyalty to Milwaukee (so far).
Out West, they question if the Warriors’ front office is really all-in on winning a title, celebrate Denver’s upgrade from MPJ to Cam Johnson, and push back on the hype surrounding OKC’s long-term dynasty odds.
