00:01:51
Speaker 4: I love coming on here now.

00:01:54
Speaker 1: You are so fun to talk to.

00:01:56
Speaker 2: But before we get to the craziness of life, what's been happening in the world of house how are you?

00:02:01
Speaker 1: You're in La?

00:02:03
Speaker 2: The wildfires just have been you know, not the best way obviously to start the new year, especially for a lot of my California friends. But my listeners want to know this, and I'll be remiss not to ask you, although we already know personally, But how are you?

00:02:18
Speaker 3: Love?

00:02:19
Speaker 1: Everything's okay with you?

00:02:20
Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm good.

00:02:21
Speaker 3: I live next door to Runyan Canyon. It caught on fire, so that was a lot. I was actually watching The Housewives and Running Canyon was on fire next to me, and I didn't know, because you know, I have a Patreon. I was like, let me watch Housewives and prep for my Patreon. I had the blinds closed, I wasn't looking at the news. And then I get a call and he's like, hey, you know, look outside your window and it was a blazing inferno. But you know, I'm fine. I'm Australian, like I can deal with it. There's a lot of people here in LA that are like fleeing to, you know, their holiday home in Palm Springs because they're scared to breathe the ash in the air. It's like, girl, calm down, like if you didn't lose your house, Like you're fine, So we're good.

00:03:01
Speaker 2: Okay, Well, I'm happy to hear that you're good. Speaking of you being Australian. I was in Sydney for.

00:03:06
Speaker 4: A week no way what fall.

00:03:09
Speaker 2: So a friend of mine, her and her husband were there because he used to He's not Australian, but he used to live there, and they were going on like a trip and they're gonna see his parents. And I'm gonna pronounce this wrong, so don't like, don't make fun of me, Jock is it adelaide?

00:03:27
Speaker 4: Adelaide?

00:03:29
Speaker 1: Okay, lady, Okay, I was close.

00:03:31
Speaker 2: I was close, at least I was close. So his family, his parents lived out there. So they went to Sydney for like a week, and I like bummed along and I love australly.

00:03:45
Speaker 1: Sydney is so gorgeous.

00:03:47
Speaker 2: I was there back in twenty ten for work but I didn't get a chance to, like, you know, like enjoying myself.

00:03:53
Speaker 1: But my love, you and all of the off seas are just amazing.

00:03:58
Speaker 3: I love it's kind of like a clean La Sydney.

00:04:03
Speaker 1: It kind of gave you that.

00:04:04
Speaker 2: And it's funny because it kind of gave that city vibe, you know what I mean. And the I mean, listen, we're gonna talk about all this shit, but like the.

00:04:12
Speaker 1: Food, how do you.

00:04:15
Speaker 3: Job?

00:04:16
Speaker 1: The food is amazed.

00:04:18
Speaker 3: I feel like I'm addicted to American food now. Last night, girl, I had California Pizza Kitchen. Then I got the Lana del Ray shake from Mels drive in delivered. You know, I had a few gummies, so I had the munchies.

00:04:33
Speaker 4: So you know, I'm loving the American food. It's gonna put me in an early grave, but you know, it is what it is.

00:04:41
Speaker 1: Well, no, we don't want you to die of jock.

00:04:44
Speaker 2: We need you and your opinion to be around for a very long time. So look, let's get auto to like the Housewives Housekeeping for the week.

00:04:54
Speaker 1: You are catching up on Potomac.

00:04:57
Speaker 2: I unfortunately am so behind Potomac, but I kind of know what's going on, So we know that they tipped the reunion.

00:05:05
Speaker 1: Karen wasn't there. She's in a recovery center.

00:05:08
Speaker 2: Her manager released the statement, we're hearing that there is some big moment happening that's going to happen. Excuse me on the season finale? What is going off with Potomac, Jock that you can tell us and share with us, because I, unfortunately have been so busy in Australia, I'm behind on a lot of episodes.

00:05:30
Speaker 3: Well, I love Potomac this season, and I almost feel like I'm the only one. I mean, I thought you were my sister in Potomac standing, but now you're not even up to date with it.

00:05:41
Speaker 2: But not because it isn't good. Not because it isn't good. I okay, it's it's listen. This is what's so sad about, Like the holidays coming around, you travel, you're on vacation, you're busy.

00:05:54
Speaker 1: So that's the only reason.

00:05:55
Speaker 2: But I am your sister in Potomac because I love the show and I'm loving this season. And so what are people saying about this season that they're not loving so much? Besides Mia storyline, which I have a lot to say about that.

00:06:08
Speaker 3: Well, everyone hates Mia so much and hates her story. Look, it's getting a little crazy. I've been on the you know, I feel like people kind.

00:06:16
Speaker 4: Of overreacting a little bit to me as stuff.

00:06:18
Speaker 3: I think sometimes when a season isn't as dramatic that then people kind of like tend to latch onto things and like blow them up and make them bigger than they really are. I'm just like kind of having fun watching that. People seem very triggered by Mia, But I will say the last episode between her and Jacqueline like it was getting a little much because it's like every single episode now they're talking about you know, remember years ago when Jacqueline first came on the show, they caught her and Mia in the shower together famlessly. Well, they keep like every episode there's a new revelation about like them having sex with each other or sharing men, or Mia got a man ready for Jacqueline and then she finished him off, and then it goes like like.

00:07:04
Speaker 2: A madam getting getting a man ready for Jacqueline like that sense.

00:07:08
Speaker 3: Well, no, they went out and they picked up a guy and apparently Jacqueline was a little nervous or something, so me it was like, let me warm him up for you and like, you know, get you in the mood. So she got him started, so then Jacqueline could come and finish the job.

00:07:22
Speaker 4: And it's a lot of TMO, a lot of TMI. And then the last episode.

00:07:27
Speaker 3: I watched, which was last week's, was that Ashley, who was kind of open about being bisexual, and I think she and Michael were having threesomes and doing all kinds of crazy shenanigans during their marriage with.

00:07:39
Speaker 4: Men and women, you know.

00:07:42
Speaker 3: Every flavor in that world. Allegedly. Actually this scene, like Jacqueline's getting ready in the bathroom, Ashley walks in and she's like, you know, you know that I'm into women, Like why don't we kiss? And Jacqueline's like, and they had this whole conversation about how they've had like a thing for each other, and Jacqueline's like, yeah, you know, I've been feeling you too.

00:08:02
Speaker 4: I think you're really beautiful, but I don't want Maa to get jealous, and.

00:08:06
Speaker 5: As she's like, let's just try it, and then they make out, and then they go to dinner later that night, and then it comes up and then like me is getting all jealous, and then.

00:08:16
Speaker 4: Ashley and Jacqueline are like making out again.

00:08:18
Speaker 3: At the table and I'm like, Okay, this is like Jocelyn Yes in front.

00:08:23
Speaker 2: Of a Wait, wait, hold on, because I love Joscelyn Hernandez from Love and Hip Hop and Josin's Cabaret on zeus is comical? Is the best show on zeus? You're telling me it's not a Joshin's cabaret?

00:08:38
Speaker 1: Is giving what.

00:08:39
Speaker 3: Karen's cabaret, Giselle's cabaret? Something's going on Ashley's cabaret. I mean, these girls are like cooking up with each other and it's it's a lot, but I like it. I think the show had the necessary shift that it needed. It's a lighter energy, Like, yes, it's messy, but it doesn't feel like really dog and twisted. But I did see an interview and I can't remember who it was with, but they think that like Mia and Jacqueline have like making everything up, that they're like conspiring together to be like let's come on camera and then start talking about doing all these outrageous things together and it's going to get us attention. But like, I don't know, I'm very confused. I'm I don't know. I like it.

00:09:23
Speaker 1: Listen.

00:09:23
Speaker 2: I think I love me. I'm a Miya Stan. That's never going to change. I think that's who Mia is and that's who Jacqueline is. I don't I can't see two women who have a history of friendship.

00:09:36
Speaker 1: And when Jacqueline came on her.

00:09:37
Speaker 2: First season two seasons ago, and you saw her visibly upset when her and Mia got into it, you can't fake that chemistry, you can't take that friendship. I don't see them making up, cooking up with men with each other as the way of getting attention, because it doesn't.

00:09:55
Speaker 1: Make them both look great in the eye of the public.

00:09:57
Speaker 2: And Jacqueline, listen, I think the owns everything that she can remember. That's why I called her mea be Lyon. But I think Jacqueline is a little bit more And this may sound strange, but Jacqueline today gives me a little bit more conservative and I just don't think she would be making stuff up either.

00:10:19
Speaker 1: I believe everything they're saying.

00:10:20
Speaker 2: I think, listen, we all to look back in our twenties and be like, to our best friend, we did some crazy shit, and I think these two women did some crazy shit, and Mia is willing to put it out there, and I'm willing to watch it because it's real reality.

00:10:36
Speaker 3: It's a good season. It's underrated. Karen skipping the reunion, so when that news came out, I was like, Okay, well she's getting fired. But then it came out that she's going to rehab, and that seems to be the one that seems to be the one way you're able to skip a reunion. If you say you had to go to rehab, that seems to be the clause. Because I think Luanne did that. I think him did that.

00:11:02
Speaker 1: It's a good it's a good doctor's note.

00:11:03
Speaker 4: Yes, yes, so I think probably we'll see Karen back. But yeah, I feel like the show has just got its juice back. Stacey's fantastic.

00:11:13
Speaker 3: I think Stacy's the most her best new edition of the year, along with Bronwyn and Yeah, fans were behind it a bit more.

00:11:23
Speaker 2: Well, listen, you and I and the fans are behind the real house about the Billy Hills. This season, it's been a fantastic season. This past episode where Sutton is clocked in and the fact that can we talk about the fact that she brought up Mauricio's infidelity in front of Kyle and and doubled down on it. I took that as listen, nine to two one zero is a small town in the grand scheme of things, right, it appears that the rumor of Mauricio cheating for the first time even for me and I want to get your thoughts on the job. But for the first time in this episode, I was like, could there be some validity to this because Sutton's bravery of bringing it up in a way that she felt like, well, Kyle, you kind of let us know at the reunion, and it's kind of an thing. You guys are divorcing, so they we really have to keep this a secret anymore. Did you Did you get that sense from that too?

00:12:34
Speaker 3: No, I think you're almost giving someton too much credit, being like her bravery like bring It's like girls, Sutton and Garsel are both a hot mess and they will bring up anything to throw anybody under the bus for a storyline and a moment as long as it won't be on them. So I will say that, well, because it happened twice actually this episode, which we'll get into, but when Gaso, when if you want to be a lesbian, be a lesbian to Kyle and then and Sutton's moment was the infidelity. I was howling laughing when Sutton brought up the infidelity and Kyle's reaction. Kyle's like, who had infidelity? And She's like, you did, No, I didn't.

00:13:12
Speaker 4: What do you mean?

00:13:15
Speaker 3: I watched?

00:13:17
Speaker 4: I watched the after show and very interesting.

00:13:20
Speaker 3: Kyle kind of breaks the fourth wall in the after show with that moment about the infidelity and the moment when Garcel said, if you want to be a lesbian, be a lesbian. Kyle was on the after show going, look, they wanted to get a reaction out of me. They wanted to get a moment out of me. That's why they brought those things up and said it on camera. And I know they wanted me to react and I didn't, And that's why you do see that weird reaction from Kyle where she kind of clams up and she's like, who had infidelity? No?

00:13:51
Speaker 4: I didn't, and then like.

00:13:52
Speaker 3: Kind of like moves on from like a robot, and she sweeps it under with Garcell as well.

00:13:58
Speaker 4: She like changes the subject. So look, I think.

00:14:01
Speaker 3: It's very interesting watching Kyle not be the queen Bee for once and not have the power over that group that she once had because when you saw that scene of her going to visit Bows while Bows was sprawled out in bed looking like a queen with her hair and makeup done after the fibroid surgery and strategically laid out in that bed is so glamorous and stunning, and Kyle kind of saunters in and is trying to give her her side of the dere feud. I'm like, oh, Kyle's like scrambling. Kyle is on the bottom of the pile now and now she's got to go around try and like rally the troops onto her side, and it's not working. And she's like hanging out now with garcel and Sutton because she has nobody else but Garcela and Sutton are like throwing her under the bus every five seconds and then talking shit about her in their confessionals. But Kyle like has to hang out with them because she's not really clicking with the So that's someone's interesting thing to me.

00:15:02
Speaker 1: Well, that's the thing, listen.

00:15:04
Speaker 2: I agree with you in the sense of Kyle is running out of friends quote unquote on camera TV friends to film with. Lisa Renna is gone, and despite Lisa, Renna and Kathy getting into it. Kyle appreciated what Lisa Renna brought to the show, and in my opinion, I never looked at her. I'm sorry, I never looked at Kyle and Lisa's friendship as like, oh, this is just for TV.

00:15:30
Speaker 1: I think they really enjoyed each other.

00:15:31
Speaker 2: And I think Kyle knew that Lisa Renna is doing her job and I can't be mad at it, which is why she had her back in Amsterdam over her sister. Kims like, that's that Erica. You would think would be second in command to a real friendship. But Erica was like, no, I really do like Drea and and Erica are the best duo of the show this season and who I love and can take.

00:15:54
Speaker 1: You're one thousand percent right.

00:15:56
Speaker 2: Kyle has no real friends on this show, or should I say any friends. To be honest with you, that's and that's what you can see this season.

00:16:03
Speaker 1: I love Kyle.

00:16:05
Speaker 2: And I know you do too. I'm gonna be honest. I don't like.

00:16:10
Speaker 1: That Kyle is in being honest about things. When you're the queen Bee of the.

00:16:15
Speaker 2: Show, like a Nini Leeks of Bethany Frankaul Right, sure, you get a pass with certain things. You do, you know what I mean, just out of the your the senior already that you have. But Kyle has two major storylines. She's allegedly in a lesbian relationship with Morgan and number two, you're going through a separation because they're not they're not going through a legal divorce at this point, So a legal separation with the man that we were introduced for fifteen years ago.

00:16:50
Speaker 1: Who we like and we believe in the love.

00:16:53
Speaker 2: So I don't like it personally when the cast is like, oh, she wanted to, I'm not going to give it to her, and it's like, it's less about giving Sutton a moment or guardsella moment, It's more about giving the show a moment of real conversation. So I would have preferred if Kyle to been like, you're pushing it.

00:17:16
Speaker 1: Stop. I know what you're trying to do, and I don't like it.

00:17:20
Speaker 2: And the way Kyle isn't being as forthcoming I listen, I love her to pieces. I'm not feeling it this season because I want more from her and the worst of Lisa Vanda pump Heavy is the head that bruhs the crown and when you are the Queen Bee of the show. The crown is heavy and you have to wear it and you have to own it.

00:17:43
Speaker 3: Yeah, and when you just said that the way she should have responded to Sutton, It's like she had that response on the after show.

00:17:49
Speaker 4: It's like, girl, why are you.

00:17:50
Speaker 3: Giving that to the after show on YouTube instead of giving it to the cameras for the main show. And look, everyone knows that I'm no fan of Sutton and Girl. I mean, I just say right through and I have from day one. But the thing is like, when you're a reality stop. I heard someone say this. It might have been La La, but they said, your job as a reality start it's actually to one speak your mind and be unfiltered, but also to react to things. It's like if something look, sometimes something happens to us in real life, right, and it might annoy us, but we'll just brush it aside and be like, you know what, it's not worth it. But like, if you're on a show being paid this money and there's cameras, you have to have that reaction to it and be annoyed. And you can't just be like, I'm not going to give you a moment, because not only okay, I get that you don't want like to give this life. But it's like, that's what you're being paid for, and that's what the fans want to know, and we want to see you address it, even if the way that you're addressing it is how Erica Jane addressed it a few years ago when she went.

00:18:52
Speaker 4: Off on everybody.

00:18:53
Speaker 3: You know what I mean, Like, Erica Jane wasn't like I'm just going to be quiet and not give you a moment. She was like, fuck you, like you know.

00:19:00
Speaker 6: He shut the yes to such, shut the fuck up literally and literally said which I was like, Erica, that's not great to say, but hey, you're honest.

00:19:10
Speaker 2: And and but that's why I love, I love and stand for Erica Jane.

00:19:14
Speaker 1: When she said what about me? Like what? And Kyle's like, don't say that.

00:19:20
Speaker 2: That's indefensible, And it's like, but that's her reality and that's her truth. Then why are we being mad at someone's truth. You could disagree with it, don't get me wrong, but don't shut her. Don't shut up somebody who's telling you their truth. And and and that's the only thing that I'm not liking this season with Kyle. However, it goes to show the cast. All of you women underestimated the power of the read. The read telling everybody including the milkman that p K is an.

00:19:53
Speaker 1: Alcoholic and she's smoking in the car.

00:19:57
Speaker 2: Speaking of interviews, Erica Jane did the interview recently and she said, we are new to re smoke and she smoked for years, but I was shot she did it on camera. I think there has no fus the gift and we're all rallying for the red because she's giving us real and I need these other women to carry that torch that she has right now.

00:20:17
Speaker 3: Yeah, and look, I do think that there are a couple of scenes that I've seen where I'm like, Duried's keeping it real, but she's also like amping it up for television purposes.

00:20:26
Speaker 4: But it's also like that's your job.

00:20:28
Speaker 3: Like I don't think she's I don't think she's here's a difference. I don't think Darida is fabricating something out of thin air. It's an issue that she had and then she's heightening it for television purposes. But it's still a real issue. So even though maybe she's gone a little over the top in some points, like it's real as opposed to some people to come on and just make something up out of thin air. So Durida is absolutely killing at her and Bose's friendship is my favorite thing ever.

00:20:56
Speaker 4: Like, I just love watching her and bows.

00:20:58
Speaker 3: I pray that they remain friends for seasons to come.

00:21:04
Speaker 4: I do wonder though, like how.

00:21:07
Speaker 3: Much Bose really likes to read and how much was just I don't know. I think Bose is a very smart woman. I think she saw a lot was going on around to read, and he played her cards.

00:21:20
Speaker 2: Well, child, we are just getting started. This is reality with the King, and I'm Carlos King. Let's get back into the show.

00:21:43
Speaker 1: Listen. What I will say is.

00:21:46
Speaker 2: You can see the genuine curiosity that I think Bowse has with the reap, and I think a lot of that had to do with Listen, I love to read.

00:21:58
Speaker 1: I think was very very.

00:22:03
Speaker 2: Master mindful, if I could make up a word in befriending Dery as hard as she has because obviously, you know, she wanted the world to see like look, I like, everybody, don't don't call me, you know racist whatever.

00:22:16
Speaker 3: Oh yeah, so befriending Bose because of what had happened with Gossel.

00:22:21
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I think the moment she met her obviously, and listen, I think Dery was like, let me get to know her more. And I think Bowse I listen. I think both liked refreshingly honest people. And I think the moment Durit said Hey, I'm Derey, my husband's alcoholic, I have two kids, I think Boss was like, now you're my type of chick, because no one else on that cast is going to give that level of honesty on the first meeting. And one thing that I constantly see from Bowse is she isn't picking anybody side.

00:22:58
Speaker 1: She really is on the side of right.

00:23:01
Speaker 2: And that's the difference between her and the other friendships we see on the show that I questioned both isn't befriitting the read because she needs somebody.

00:23:10
Speaker 1: I think she really liked her and by default, like she.

00:23:14
Speaker 2: Tells me, her business was not to like and when it came to the other girls, she's like, but no, that's what she said. She actually said that, Or like, well, Kyle, you text PK what that's not?

00:23:27
Speaker 1: Okay, what do you think about the text?

00:23:31
Speaker 3: So what do I think of the text? Okay? Look, I know that there was nothing. I know there's nothing shady going on with Kyle and p K. I believe that when they split, she just sent that one text because they were already friends and stuff. But I understand why it looks bad and now here's the thing when you're and Kyle actually should know this because being on the Housewives of Beverly Hills is like playing chess and it's warfare and every little thing can be just sect and spun into a storyline, and Kyle kind of should have understood ahead of time, like, don't say that it's just memes and then go and read the text out on camera and it's not memes, because then everyone's going to say that you're a liar and they're going to blow this into something bigger than it really is. Like, really, it's one text that you sent when the breakup happened, and that's it. But now, of course it's going to snowball into something. So I just think that she didn't play very smart, maybe because she's just got a lot on her Maybe she feels like her back is against the wall and she's not used to being in this position. She's not used to being at the bottom of the pile, and it's the first time that she's finding herself not wielding the power, because definitely since Lisa vander Pump left and she was able to successfully get rid of LVP, Kyle has just sort of like rained over this show. And yeah, now I think it's like she's making mistakes.

00:24:55
Speaker 1: So instead of bottom of the pile, is the bottom of the Kyle.

00:25:01
Speaker 3: That could be.

00:25:03
Speaker 4: For sure.

00:25:04
Speaker 1: Actually I'm gonna make it that, So there you go. The thing is this.

00:25:10
Speaker 2: I would have preferred, And you're one thousand percent right. Kyle isn't used to somebody on that show having the balls to challenge her. And I think when it came through the text, she was called off guard, and I think she answered immediately without thinking about like, oh shit, let me look back and see what I said to this man before I just make shut up. I think memes was like just a quick answer to shut everyone down. Do I think how for a second is sending anything inappropriate to pk A's a freaking litely not right, And to be honest with you, I think KYLEYA was just being like, oh, he's our mutual friend whatever, and me and dere aren't great right now, so like it wasn't a big deal. And I do think Kyle never ever saw it being a big deal until she was approached by it, so that's that. However, when she showed the screenshot, because Kyle's Kyle, I think she knew, let me show this first before dere shows at the reunion to where I will look like a liar. So Kyle had to get in front of it before de Reed got it from PK because.

00:26:25
Speaker 3: She is still playing small thing because I was saying she's not and Minu it's like nor she is actually, Oh oh, Kyle.

00:26:31
Speaker 2: Smart, she knew, let me get in front of it before the big revealed after reunion comes from de Rey saying, you actually was not texting my husband the memes. You was actually texting him whatever.

00:26:45
Speaker 3: Yea.

00:26:46
Speaker 2: I think Kyle had to get in front of it unfortunately, because she doubled down only being memes and it was actually like a fucking word document text from chat GPT. It's just it doesn't look good and I think listen, Kyle, if you're listening or your team is listening, I think you have to understand that when you are the queen Bee and take this for somebody who worked with Nannie Leeks and Teresa Judais. One thing that I always encourage Nini and Teresa and it wasn't like they wouldn't do it because they're naturally amazing and great stars. Is girl, tell your truth before someone else does. And that's what Kyle has to do. This Morgan Wade shit, This Kyle split, I mean Kyle Mauricio split and not the PK text is too many clouds of doubt around it and Kyle needs to learn that you have to get in front of it and tell your own truth before somebody else does.

00:27:51
Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's like, why are you staying on this show? Then after fifteen years or however long she's been on it, If now you're not actually going to share about your life yet? Know what?

00:28:00
Speaker 4: Like you're making me.

00:28:01
Speaker 3: Look, I'm just watching the season and loving it and actually loving everybody on it. Everyone's clocking in, I'm having a good time, And now that I'm talking to you and reflecting on it, I am a bit like, yeah, KRL, what the fuck? Like girl spill or get out of here. And the thing with Kyle is to if she did come through and she was look, if she was having a let's mention it all season like deret is, the audience would so rally around her and love her and be so into it, Like can you imagine if Kyle sat down had the conversation about here is my true feelings for Morgan Wade and everything that happened, and here is why Mauricio and I are separating. People would love her and instead she's the most unpopular she's been in a very long time. And Derete, who just a year ago people saying needed to be fired because of microaggressions or whatever, as suddenly like beloved and uh yeah, Kyle's not playing it well. I'm actually curious how what is Kyle next season gonna be? Like, So is Kyle gonna see the reaction to this and go, Okay, I'm gonna come into this open like DERI was. Or is she gonna like could she walk away from the show?

00:29:18
Speaker 4: I don't know.

00:29:19
Speaker 1: One or two things have to happen.

00:29:21
Speaker 2: And I'm being very honest here, and this is coming from a Kyle Richard's stand. Okay, if she doesn't want because it's her choice. If Kyle doesn't want to enter next season and give her honest to god truth about Morgan and Mauricio, she.

00:29:47
Speaker 1: Should take the She should just leave.

00:29:48
Speaker 2: The show because it's I'm ana and this is this is my my point. Imagine Teresa Judais saying to the world, Yeah, I just do want to talk about Louie, like I just I know you guys have all of these questions about the videos and the stuff you've seen ex girlfriend and the I just don't want to I want to remain in my love bubble and I want to focus on my four daughters. We would be like, excuse me, you're the queen Bee of the show, like you, what are we talking about here? And that's how we're all feeling about Kyle. It's one of those things where we didn't make.

00:30:32
Speaker 1: Up Morgan Wade.

00:30:33
Speaker 2: We didn't pick her out of a cherry, picking out of the garden.

00:30:37
Speaker 1: Like you brought on the show.

00:30:39
Speaker 2: You showed us getting matching tattoos with this woman. You brought Maurice on this show. You showed us you guys, you know, having fun. You give him a lap dance, You're doing the splits at a white party, like these are things you showed us. So when things aren't great, you can't then choose to say, what's my personal life?

00:31:00
Speaker 1: And it's like since when?

00:31:04
Speaker 2: And you would think, listen, no one on that show has ever in the history of the Real Housewives, and Billy Hills had a tough season like Erica Jane. And Erica Jane was herself and she was true and she said things that we all were like, girl, know if that's true? Girl is known like a blizzard Pasadena. Girl, Like wait, what's going on?

00:31:28
Speaker 1: Girl?

00:31:29
Speaker 2: We were all questioning it, but it was her truth and we all love her earth and she gained more fans than haters when it was all said and done because in the end she kind of is midicated, do you know what I mean?

00:31:44
Speaker 1: So I say this now, people love Erica Cup. People are loving to read because they're like, wait, you smoke cigarettes? Girl? Okay, wait, what's going on with you in PK? Wait? Wait what's huh you're coming for?

00:31:57
Speaker 5: Wait?

00:31:57
Speaker 2: Wait what you're telling you're calling milk? The C word is saying you want a moment. That's what Kyle should have gave Son of Garcel. You guys want a moment. It's because your storylines is like read the girls, don't sit things be like and get you know what I mean?

00:32:14
Speaker 3: Like Ky actually went off, Sorry to cut you off now, just like imagining, like if she snapped at something in that moment and just went off with her, Like, girl, you do this to everybody. You were kicking people when they are down. You are always trying to bring people stuff up, like let's talk about you, let's talk about your drinking, let's talk about your and like throw it back at her and just eviscerate her.

00:32:38
Speaker 1: Yeah.

00:32:39
Speaker 3: I mean that would have been a moment instead of just sitting there going what infidelity?

00:32:43
Speaker 4: Who had infidelity?

00:32:44
Speaker 3: No?

00:32:44
Speaker 1: I didn't like no, no no no right no no no no no.

00:32:48
Speaker 2: So again, the only way Kyle is going to win in this game of reality television.

00:32:53
Speaker 1: In twenty twenty five, you gotta.

00:32:55
Speaker 2: Follow the playbook of Teresa of Dread of aka Jane, and you have to give the truth. And if you're not willing to do that, then fine, this is your real life.

00:33:08
Speaker 1: Then take a break from the show.

00:33:10
Speaker 2: But it's not fair for the audience who's been in bed with you, no pun intended for fifteen years, and we're being cheapened by that because when you have girls like the Salt like city women who are hungry and they are giving their blood, sweat, tears and text messages to each other that's the kind of reality TV we want like that segway.

00:33:38
Speaker 3: O.

00:33:38
Speaker 2: I was like, yes, call me, call me with you Goldberg, Hodeye. I am a great moderator, thank you, and this is what my view. Okay, so here we go.

00:33:49
Speaker 1: Let me tell you something about me and my family. I'm teasing. Let me tell you something.

00:33:55
Speaker 2: Hi Caroline Manziel, who, by the way, send me a sweet text the other day.

00:33:59
Speaker 1: I mean a few weeks ago.

00:34:02
Speaker 3: Hi.

00:34:03
Speaker 2: No, I love Caroline Manzel. Hi Carolina Manzel, Happy New Year.

00:34:07
Speaker 3: Okay, Patre doesn't like her. Sorry to cut you off, but I interviewed Patre the other day and I asked her about Ultimate Girl's Trip, and she was saying it's one of the best things they've ever filmed. She started, I didn't even bring up Brandy because I was trying to keep it very professional, not bring up anything too spicy, and she brought up Brandy on her own and was totally defending Brandy and saying how amazing Brandy is, and that I think she called what Caroline did fictitious drama or something like that. So she's very on team Brandy and the whole cast, and very upset that the season's not airing, so thanks for that, Caroline.

00:34:45
Speaker 1: If you're listening, oh well, listen.

00:34:47
Speaker 2: There's two sides of every story, and maybe one day we'll hear both. Maybe maybe I will sign up for that pay per view. Thank you so much, job. And this is coming from me. Okay, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, and I'm gonna be very honest here. It's a show I did not want to like, and I'm not a hater. I just I was sort of I'm gonna be very honest with you. So when the show was person announced, I was like Salt Lake City like whatever, like who you know what I mean?

00:35:31
Speaker 1: It was very this is me like who cares?

00:35:33
Speaker 3: Like?

00:35:33
Speaker 1: I don't care because it was so many.

00:35:34
Speaker 3: Housewives coming from the guy that does shows in like Huntsville and stuff. You're like, Scot like, even though you've read this huge show in Huntsville.

00:35:44
Speaker 1: That's the perfect clap back. That is amazing.

00:35:47
Speaker 2: I have the biggest show, the number one show on called Love and Marriage Huntsville, Pelabama, and here I am like slig City, who cares?

00:35:56
Speaker 3: Right?

00:35:57
Speaker 2: So I was just like I'm busy, I don't have time whatever? And then I saw gen Shaw and I was like, well, she's interesting. Then I saw Mary Cosma. I'm like, well she's interesting, and then all of my rain drops said carlos Ley, watch it. So I watched season one before season two started it, I'm like, what a bad show.

00:36:15
Speaker 1: Then I watched season two.

00:36:17
Speaker 2: Amaze, right, like amazing, and then long story short, I'm like, I'm not gonna watch anymore. Gen Shawn's going to jail. I'm not gonna waste my time. So I didn't watch season three a lot of it. Then season four happened and Monica Garcia came on, and all the rains drops Jock, including you and our friend a Liza Rosen was like, you have to watch Salt Lake City. This Monica girl is amazed. I started watching it, fell in love with it. Monica's gone from the show, so I'm like, I'm not watching season five. I watched the first episode. I thought it was performative. Once again, the rain drop set you gotta watch it. This Brahm and the woman is everything. I'm like, leave me alone, I'm busy the real housewatch is so City.

00:37:02
Speaker 1: Is one of the best shows on TV.

00:37:05
Speaker 2: And I'm gonna say this without seeing the reunion so I'm only gonna talk about this season. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is tied with the Real Housewives of Orange County as the best on Bravo.

00:37:18
Speaker 1: It's I I'm a.

00:37:20
Speaker 2: Fan, and those women work hard and every Housewives franchise that is New York City, Potomac.

00:37:35
Speaker 1: Watch Salt Lake City. These women are hungry and they want to be the best. And that finale was superb tense across the board.

00:37:47
Speaker 2: And before I'll let you speak, Jock shout out to the producer. Whoever came I don't think it was Heather, and I'm gonna say that on the record, I don't think I don't think the Heather.

00:37:56
Speaker 1: Came up with this.

00:37:58
Speaker 2: Whoever came up with the idea of these women reading the most vicious text they said about each other. That is the most genius thing I have seen on the Real Housewives in the past five years.

00:38:14
Speaker 3: Okay, well, I have so much to say. I'm gonna say, first of all, I do think Heather came up with that game, because Heather is so obsessed with like Bravo and pop culture, like to the point if you remember on the really boring Thailand Ultimate Girls Trip, she even read like Leah McSweeney's biography, like she'll read all the Housewives biographies, like you know, she has her little Oscar speeches were husted before. I mean that fucking speech that she gave the end.

00:38:42
Speaker 1: But that's the reason.

00:38:43
Speaker 2: But Jock, that's the reason I was like, listen, Heather Gay, I give props to due.

00:38:51
Speaker 1: She is so performative.

00:38:53
Speaker 2: But for some reason, I'm not every bad at it because it provides something as amazing as that text.

00:39:00
Speaker 3: Well, go ahead, she She's fucking incredible, like the whole cast.

00:39:04
Speaker 4: And I will say that.

00:39:06
Speaker 3: I mean, I think Salt Lake City from seasons four to five packaged together, it's I mean it's ascended Bravo, Like it's literally like you could rank that up there with like the if you're ranking all the best shows that have been on TV, like Succession and like White Lotus and all the HBO shows, like you can put it up there like it is that fucking good. And I also want to apologize because I was a hater of Salt Lake for many years, like you were. I never bought into the hype when Bravo rolled it out, and I was kind of thinking about it because now that I've been so obsessed with seasons four and five. I'm going back and I'm watching all these clips from seasons one, two, three, and I'm like loving it. And I think that like salt Lake came out at a weird time, but think it premiered right as the pandemic was hitting, and it was just like a big shift in Bravo programming because one through COVID, the audience and the social media exploded where it became all about the Instagram and the memes, the and the blogs and the podcasts and stuff. And I think the women were becoming a lot more self aware across the board, and it was just like Housewives as a franchise was entering kind of a new era and there was some like teething pains, and I think I just kind of took me a minute to kind of like get what salt Lake was and to understand the tone and the campiness of it and that they are a lot more self aware, and yes, it is like more produced, and now that I'm there, I'm like, yeah, I mean, it blew me away. And I never thought they could top season four with Monica, Like I thought the season would probably be pretty good, but I was just like, how do you? And I agreed with them getting I agreed with them getting rid of Monica. I know that you didn't originally, but I was like, no, they have to because like it's the same with how they had to get rid of a Lexus on Oc like love Alexis, love Monica, but like you're just going to repeat the same shit again if you don't remove this huge personality, Like you absolutely have to do it. But I'm like, how can they even like how could they even come close to season four? They talked season full? Season five was better, Like I was shocked, like braun One, like Britney, like every.

00:41:15
Speaker 2: Honey and honey, Honey, Honey, honey honey, brahmin tance across the board.

00:41:21
Speaker 1: Brittany.

00:41:22
Speaker 2: I love Britney ten because she's a this is the compliment Brittany.

00:41:26
Speaker 3: In punching Bag and and kind of a whack of dude.

00:41:29
Speaker 2: But like in the best way possible. But I'm gonna tell you who my favorite is. You're about to gag. Angie k is something I've never seen on TV. She her facial reactions is priceless. The moment between her and Mary where Mary, I mean, listen, Mary is the goat, right, I love the whole Okay, Carlos, calm down, Calm down, go one by one, you're too excited.

00:41:56
Speaker 1: Calm down, girl. Okay.

00:41:58
Speaker 2: Look, Angie K is something I've never seen on TV before.

00:42:04
Speaker 1: I am obsessed with her.

00:42:08
Speaker 2: She is beautiful, she's funny, she's vulnerable, she can check you, she reads the girls, she's shady. She the moment pything her and Mary where she was like you changed my life and I was like, what was happening? And I believed it. I believed it. Mary crying about it.

00:42:30
Speaker 5: It was.

00:42:32
Speaker 2: I mean, ANGIEK with a high body count, like and I got a chance to meet her. Two jock when I say to you, I met her at this Kathy Hilton thing, and she's better in person in the sense of like, that's who she is. I met all this Tartlake City House wishs except Meredith and Heather. They weren't there. Lisa Barlow, Whitney, Angie K, Mary Cosby, and Broadwind. There are exactly in real life who they are on camera.

00:43:03
Speaker 1: And this cast is stellar.

00:43:06
Speaker 2: And I have not been impressed with a full cast where they're all a players.

00:43:14
Speaker 1: Since Potomac Season.

00:43:18
Speaker 2: I think Potomac season five, where like I felt like that entire cast was hungry and the clocked in Sallect City. They want it and they deserve it, and it's fantastic and I'm so proud of them as a producer because when I look at the Sallect City cast, it's the cast that every producer dreams of having.

00:43:43
Speaker 4: Well, everyone is there to work and do their job and bleed for the show.

00:43:48
Speaker 3: I mean, it's like the same way that Bane pom Rules used to do in the early seasons, like yeah, I'm going to give you everything, and it's so much harder to get that out of you know, women that are a bit older, that are established, that have husbands that have you know, if you're young and drinking and partying and you want to be famous, of course you've got to put it all out there, like the banda Pump people did, but like to get housewives to do it is a lot harder and also storylines aside, and the storylines are incredible. The comedy is incredible. I like Salt Lake the best as far as the fashion, because there's you've got high fashion girls on there, but then you have this like campiness to it, where like you know Mary will wear something crazy or Bronen will wear something crazy or whatever, and you know Angie with the big sunglasses. But then it's against these beautiful snowy backdrop. So they'll come out in like hot pink with the shades and it's like popping against the white snow.

00:44:43
Speaker 4: It's just like everything just.

00:44:44
Speaker 3: Looks so beautiful and like it just has it has everything. I mean, even like with Britney, you know, she was a friend of and like, you know, she had like one of the best moments of the season when Jared showed up to that when she was on the date with the other guy, and I was just like everything about it, and yes, that coming up with the game at the end to like, let's read the nastiest thing we've ever said about each other on our phone.

00:45:12
Speaker 4: And I do believe that Heather came.

00:45:13
Speaker 3: Up with that because I had the thing's like a producer and Heather even like she doesn't even hide it, Like she goes in press interviews and she's like, yeah, like this changed my life, Like now I actually feel like I'm somebody. And like when she went on that Girl's trip, she was like fangirling overre like she was like on there like a fan. So I believe that she wanted to outdo last season, and I think.

00:45:38
Speaker 4: She was little wheels in her brain, but how do I do this?

00:45:41
Speaker 3: And she came up with that whole speech at the end, and it was so forced, but it.

00:45:46
Speaker 4: Was like real as well, you know what I mean.

00:45:48
Speaker 3: Like it's not like she was saying stuff that's untrue, just everything.

00:45:53
Speaker 1: So everything, let's get into it. The moment that.

00:46:03
Speaker 2: The moment that Angie k gave Brahm and her phone to read the text. The reason why I love Bronwyn is because she's real and she's natural and she and like you said, she bleeds the cast bleeds, but her the way she bleeves is very different because she wasn't even able to read it, you know, because she was crying just by, you know, peeking at exactly what Angie said about her. I mean, the shit that Angie said about I don't want to be a trumpy wife like her, the fact that her husband has one foot in the grape and another on a banana peel.

00:46:44
Speaker 3: Angie's so mean. Here's something that I've been saying for a while is I love Angie by the way, So this isn't even shade to Angie, but it's like Angie's definitely letting the popularity go to her head and she clearly has a very very mean side, and she's just going to have a big fall from Grace at some point. Like that's a prediction, yes, And I also my other prediction, and I think it's actually already starting to come true. But when the season started, everyone was hating Heather and they were like, why does she have this thing against Bronwyn? And now I think that we're getting towards the end people asking how messy Bronwyn is. And I really think the Head is going to be very vindicated in that her original assessment of Bronwin kind of being calculated in two faced, is going to prove to be correct. So those are my two predictions.

00:47:36
Speaker 1: What is your prediction on Let me tell you something.

00:47:41
Speaker 2: I want Lisa Burlow on every show in the world. I listen the whole I'm listen, producer, Kaz all you guys get a gold Star the whole, Like game of everybody dressed up as Lisa was hilarious.

00:48:00
Speaker 1: The fact that.

00:48:01
Speaker 2: Whitney, by the way, Whitney, you are gorgeous, but baby Aza Brunette stunning like gorgeous, right, but the.

00:48:09
Speaker 1: Fact that.

00:48:12
Speaker 2: Jock she kept a tag on her outfit and then purposely walked away and Lisa immediately caught it. Let me tell you someth about Lisa Barrolow and why Lisa Brallo is amazing and a queen. The stuff that Lisa Bralo says could be seen as like not problematic and the like the consciousness, but more so like okay, girl, you are beautiful, you are wealthy, but we don't talk about it. I want the fact that she's like, no, bitch, I'm gonna talk about it. So the fact that she's dissing Whitney and her status in the world, her businesses, talks about how she has everything and when we get to the dinner table and Whitney, which, by the way, great play, Whitney, because you could have found a safer text the way that Lisa found a safer text with Mayor, because Lisa, I love you. But girl, by, if you think for one second, that's the meanest shit in your text, girl By anyways, Whitney was like I'm gonna get you, bitch, one way or the other. The accusation that Lisa Barlow is in some sort of like three summer relationship with her husband and that there's things happening to where he's getting This is an explicit podcast of mothers, fathers, Hi, the kids.

00:49:29
Speaker 1: Put the HiPhones on the whole jerking off thing.

00:49:32
Speaker 2: I'm like, but Lisa Barlow's reaction to it, jock, are you fucking kidding me?

00:49:39
Speaker 1: And she was visibly.

00:49:41
Speaker 2: Upset, as I would be too if you're coming from my husband and his reputation.

00:49:47
Speaker 3: I would have lost it.

00:49:48
Speaker 4: But it's also like Whitney.

00:49:50
Speaker 3: Whitney's so like he's very underrated and a lot of people hate Whitney, and I used to be a Whitney hated because she is like really annoying, But it's like she knows how to to push your buttons. In certain moments, she knew exactly what the fun she was doing, and it was so funny. Also, of course you're obsessed with Lisa because look, no shade, but you kind of gravitate to a certain type of housewife that has a certain type of personality disorder where they are utterly delusional and they cannot apologize for anything or ever see even zero point five percent of what they've done wrong, Teresaitnini Lisa Barlow. Now, of course that is your favorite, the most difficult, just insane person on the cast with an ego the side of Mount Everest, so.

00:50:45
Speaker 1: Those listen.

00:50:47
Speaker 2: I love a girl who is very confident. She thinks highly of herself, She's ambitious.

00:50:53
Speaker 1: I love the type of girl. I love Lisa Barlow.

00:50:57
Speaker 2: She she the self awareness of not there and I fight it comical because we live in a world and you know this popular JP podcast on Patreon, Make sure you guys subscribe. The thing is this people are playing as safe on TV, and I appreciate the fact that she says things like being mad at seventeen c a coach c on a forty five minute flight. A lot of these girls will feel that way behind the scenes, but we'll never talk about it on camera because it sounds very much like girl be happy on a plane.

00:51:34
Speaker 1: So I love that about her.

00:51:35
Speaker 2: But do you think Lisa was overreacting when she read Whitney's text message and did she forget what the game was about?

00:51:46
Speaker 3: No, because it's like it's one thing to shade me over having tags and stuff. If you're on a fucking television show and it's complete because I don't believe that.

00:51:54
Speaker 4: That rumor is true at all.

00:51:57
Speaker 1: Me neither.

00:51:58
Speaker 3: Yeah, if you're gonna bring that up on camera and come for my marriage, like that's like a sacred thing, Like you did not need to do that.

00:52:07
Speaker 4: I mean, she didn't need to bring Angie into it.

00:52:10
Speaker 3: Now, why am I in it?

00:52:11
Speaker 2: Like she didn't need it Andie was about to fuck her up like leap Andie's husband allow. I think it's so rude at this point, but go ahead.

00:52:26
Speaker 4: No, it's it's horrible. And they clearly have a good marriage.

00:52:29
Speaker 3: I mean, yes, we all thought he's a little how you doing, but like I don't know, they seem happy.

00:52:34
Speaker 4: So no, shade.

00:52:36
Speaker 3: He spends a lot of time on leg day. I will say that he's not skipping leg day or glue day, that is for sure.

00:52:44
Speaker 4: But I can't.

00:52:49
Speaker 3: The thing with Lisa Barlow though, and this is what I predict will be Lisa Barlow's downfall. And I love her and I interviewed her once actually and she was very Okay, here's something I'll say a bit of a bar but you know, I kind of thought it was unfair that they had fired Jenny Neuwan or Jenny Wynn or whatever. I would have rather they just addressed what the issue was on the show. I don't think she has as much money as she says, because it's like, you know, people to talk about how much sex they have, they're usually the ones that are getting at the least. And I think that it's like the tag. There could be some truth to the tag thing. That's why Whitney did it. And I think at some point my prediction with Lisa Barlow is that someone is going to get some receipts on her that she has done something that like you know, she's renting her home or whatever, or like something that's going to like crack this facade that she's built that she doesn't have all of the money and all of the things that she claims to have.

00:53:52
Speaker 4: And then I feel like she might.

00:53:55
Speaker 3: In that egomaniac type of way, she won't be able to take any accountability. She won't be able to and or being cornered, and she might kind of like implode a bit like Niini did, or like run off the show like Lisa vander Pump did.

00:54:07
Speaker 4: That is my Lisa Barlow one day prediction.

00:54:11
Speaker 2: Ooh, so you don't think that'd be Meredith, who likes to leave.

00:54:16
Speaker 3: Well, you know, I mean, I think now I like that they'd kind of acknowledged that Meredith just rents a house in Utah to film the show then goes back to New York and it doesn't really seem to be an issue. But I mean, I think if I was thinking this season that if anyone's going to go, it might be Meredith because she didn't have as much going on. But then she has those kind of like pill popping freekouts that go viral, and then everyone likes when she's slurring and stuff, and it's like, I feel like she's going to keep her snowflake just as long as she has those meltdowns.

00:54:53
Speaker 2: No, the meltdown that she had the backseat of the car with with Brittany if the hand I can watch that a gazillion time is so funny and it's amazing. But the thing is this, how do you feel though about Whitney contacting Monica, Like did you feel like that was sort of like a precursor to the audience of like, hmm, maybe they'll bring Monica back next season, or do you think Whitney was being shady and the doors closed with Monica anyway.

00:55:27
Speaker 3: I do not think the door is closed with Monica at all, and I do not think that the door is closed with.

00:55:31
Speaker 4: Jen Shaw either.

00:55:32
Speaker 3: As soon as Jenshaw gets out of prison, she is walking back onto that show absolutely without a doubt, and they keep reducing the sentencing. And sorry, I'm getting off on a little bit of a tangent, but I was like, I'm telling you, from the first premiere of The Salt Lake City, I hated gen Shah and I was on her ass. I'm like, this woman is lying, she's not had this money or whatever, and I was cheering for her going under and going to jail and prison and all that stuff. And now that I've become like this Salt Lake stand I'm like, now I'm rooting for the sentence to be reduced.

00:56:04
Speaker 4: I'm like, I need this.

00:56:06
Speaker 3: Girl, I need this criminal back on the small screen to watch. And yes, I definitely think that. I definitely think they have the door open for Monica. But it's also like they're not going to force it. It's gonna have to be at a time when the group is ready to have her back, and that it makes sense for the show. But they're definitely keeping that open there, and I think Monica knows it because Monica.

00:56:32
Speaker 4: Has like.

00:56:35
Speaker 3: I think she did a podcast with up An Adam and then she was like refusing to talk about Salt Lake City or to recap it on there and he's like, I don't know, and then the podcast disappeared after like three episodes or something, and I think she's like purposely like not wanting to take that leap into like I'm going to be like a Salt Lake recapper now, because she is banking on getting back there, and I do believe the producers told her just kill when the moment's right, we're going to have you back on. But it's like, I don't know how she's gonna get through Heather because Heather is like not caan to have money go. Yeah.

00:57:14
Speaker 1: I think Monica.

00:57:16
Speaker 2: Knows a lot about Heather, and I think Heather is preventing her and having the cash joined in on her allegedly to make sure that doesn't happen, because I think I think heathern knows Monica knows shit and she does not wanted to get out.

00:57:33
Speaker 1: But if you would have told me, I would have.

00:57:35
Speaker 2: Enjoyed this season as much as I did last season, I would have called you a fucking liar, Camille, do you know what I mean, Hey, Kyle, I would have definitely been like, there's no way. I It's to the point where I am even like shocked at myself for how much I've enjoyed Salt Lake City, because I just didn't think it would have what it takes. But it's a testament to again, I like to always give the cast and crew their props. It's a testament to the cast and crew for delivering a seasons that they know like we have to be a part of the conversation.

00:58:19
Speaker 1: And it reminds me of how Potomac used to be.

00:58:22
Speaker 2: Potomac was always in the shadows of Atlanta for obvious reasons, and I just remember those Potomac girls being hungry and like, no, we can stand on our own without being compared to Atlanta. And at one point they did do that, right. But I think as of today, I think OC, you and I both agree, had another amazing season and I have to give the newbies of Salt Lake City, like it really is becoming possibly the best Bravo show that I've scene on air right now, tied with OC.

00:59:03
Speaker 1: It's that amazing. It really, it really is a great show.

00:59:09
Speaker 3: I wouldn't tie it with OC though, I mean OC is OC is my personal number one favorite, but it OC that still felt like a top tier season of Housewives Salt like felt like something different, Like it felt like I was saying this shit should be on HBO, Like this is kind of like a different level than even what like Housewives is doing.

00:59:28
Speaker 4: I want to get your take on two things.

00:59:29
Speaker 3: I want to know where we go from here, and but before that, I want to know, how do we explain Mary being what she was previously to then this season suddenly clocking in being vulnerable, being likable, being able to just like do fun activities with Like it's like a different person, Like she still had the same shade and the same brutal honesty. Like I'm every episod I was shocked of, Like, who is this Mary compared to the insane person that I saw for years before?

01:00:07
Speaker 1: The thing is this?

01:00:09
Speaker 2: I think this, and this is why I always tell people, if you need to leave a season for your mental health, whatever you're going through, then then then you should do what's best for you and your mental health.

01:00:23
Speaker 1: Right. I think Mary signed on to.

01:00:27
Speaker 2: Do the show, because who you know who? We're in Salt Lake City. You want me to be on TV as fun as whatever?

01:00:33
Speaker 1: Right?

01:00:35
Speaker 2: And I think I heard this and you may have two, that she was like the first person cast from.

01:00:41
Speaker 1: Salt Lake City. That's what I heard. I don't know if it's true or not, but I heard that somewhere.

01:00:47
Speaker 2: And I think she never understood the power of this medium. And I think as we are seeing now with her son being brave to talk about his addiction issues, I think she was going through a lot of personal stuff that she just couldn't handle. And I think the break did her some good. I think, listen, there's nothing like being missed and people begging for your return, right, And I think she got it, but I think she needed to be away from it for a year and missed it again because when I look at her, I'm like you, I'm like, I love her more and she's she's so good and I believe she likes ANGIEK.

01:01:35
Speaker 1: I don't think that's fake at all.

01:01:37
Speaker 2: And the scene with her and her son, that's when I knew, like, oh, this is different Mary.

01:01:41
Speaker 1: I think Mary.

01:01:41
Speaker 2: Understood the power of the show, and I think that's what's going on with her. To answer your second question, where do the cast and the show go from here?

01:01:54
Speaker 1: And it's funny, souse. I thought about that.

01:01:58
Speaker 2: After I washed the finale and I said to myself, huh, where do they go from here?

01:02:04
Speaker 1: Because how can you top this season?

01:02:06
Speaker 2: And I don't have the answer right now in terms of where they go, but I will say this, everybody deserves a chance to come back. And I think when it comes to Brownwin and g and Brittany as like the newbies, I think there is an opportunity for those women to really usher themselves, to be more vocal and to give more to the show. Not that they haven't given all to the show, but there's an opportunity for like a shift in the hierarchy. I think at the end of the day, we all know it is what it is. I think there will always be heralded as like the queen Bee of the show. I think, listen, even I can say that right with all the things that I I feel about Heather being dangerous by blaming a producer of The Black Eye, I would never like that, but I'm also honest and smart. She will always be heralded as the queen Bee because those ladies, they see her that way, and that was evident at the dinner table in the finale. Nobody read a shady Heather at text, you know what I mean, Like that's that's her. But I think there's something there's and and again, there's something magical about this brand Brittany, Angie and braun Win that screens the opportunity to take a leap in terms of a leader position, not the queen Bee, but a force multiplier. And I do think, I do think, I do think bringing on somebody knew will make this show continue to be the best house live.

01:04:01
Speaker 3: I'm rada, Yeah, I do think they need to bring another new person in for sure to keep this going.

01:04:08
Speaker 4: I don't know where they go with Brittany.

01:04:10
Speaker 3: And I say that as a Britney stand It's just like to me, Brittany is ten out of ten for the season, but she was like ten out of ten as a friend. I cannot see her being a full time because she can't read at all and these girls can read like she cannot read at all, like I don't. She almost doesn't even know how to go back and forth. And then a couple of times when she did try to initiate a conflict. It felt contrived and she got splattered because she tried it with Bronwin early on, where she was like, are you attracted to your husband? And Bronwin just like destroyed her and she looked bad. And I also think she lies a lot. I think she lies constantly.

01:04:48
Speaker 4: Love her and I don't.

01:04:49
Speaker 3: I think they're harmless lies, you know what I mean. It's not like anything crazy, but so she's not full time material. And then I think about who could they bring back. I do think next season we should get a Monica cameo, even if it's not just even for the trailer to make the trailer pop, Like I think she's still yeah, And.

01:05:10
Speaker 2: I also think bring her back towards the end of the season as like a you know, I agree with that.

01:05:16
Speaker 3: Yeah, And I think maybe she's still friendly with Mary, so maybe like she could just go over to Mary's to have a conversation. Bam, you've got the Monica scene. I do miss Angie Harrington. I really liked Do you remember Angie Harrington? She was one of the friends. Yeah, yeah, yeah, and she had Lisa's number kind of early on because I think it was in season two they got into an issue where basically I think Lisa Barlow found out that Angie was throwing like the first party of the season, and then Lisa Barlow got the caterers or whatever to like pull out of Angie's party, and then of course Lisa didnt was crying on camera and saying that she didn't do it, and all it was like she clearly did.

01:05:58
Speaker 4: So I would like Angie Harrington back, but yeah, I.

01:06:01
Speaker 3: Think we need someone new, and yeah, I'm very interested to see where it goes, and I want to see if anyone gets demoted, because I do always wonder, like with Meredith and Whitney, sometimes I do feel like they get close to like maybe getting let go, And sometimes it's one of those things where like sometimes a really good cast member has to be let go, like an Alexis Bollino for example, or a Montica Garcia, because it's like, you know what, we have to shift the energy. We can't risk, like we just have to change up this dynamic and make something new and fresh happen. And sometimes someone unfortunately has to be a casualty and get tipped out.

01:06:39
Speaker 4: So it kind of wouldn't shock me if they actually got rid of an OG just to shake it up.

01:06:43
Speaker 1: I think they will get rid of an OLG.

01:06:45
Speaker 2: I think an OG will either be demoted or get you know, their walking papers. I agree with you one thousand percent. I think Britney should remain a friend of and I think that's fine. One thing Marlo Hampton I talked about that I said on my own podcast, and she shared this too recently. Marlow was actually a housewife her first season four, but she turned it down and she was a friend of And one thing she and I always talk about is should she have remained a friend to the show versus being a housewife, Because it's so much pressure being a housewife that sometimes you have to look at and say, am I better suited as a friend.

01:07:25
Speaker 1: When I look at Britney.

01:07:27
Speaker 2: I see an amazing, top tier friend of, like a Kathy Hilton. I don't want Kathy Hilton to hold a diamond. I want Kathy Hilton to come in and out and that's it. And I look at Britney that way. I don't think she's housewife's material. I think she will be. I think Brittany has the opportunity and the potential to be the Marlow Hampton of Salt Lake an amazing friend of that you bring in when necessary, shakes the table, gives you these whack the do moment that I love. And then and then she's on a cast trip and is to go home.

01:08:07
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, no, I agree, and I want to see more of her relationship with Jared Osman. I think that whole thing is interesting and that they went official writers.

01:08:16
Speaker 4: Obviously they're about.

01:08:17
Speaker 3: To cast for the next season, so I am wondering, like, is that real? Is that fake? I would like to see the women actually talk about that. I would like them to have that conversation because I think we're all asking that question.

01:08:29
Speaker 1: Will bring it up for Yeah, sure.

01:08:33
Speaker 3: So I mean that's already juicy, so yeah, definitely bring and look, give Britney the chance to prove herself that she could be full time. Who knows. I mean, Angie Kay started as a friend and I loved Angie Ky, but I kind of I don't think I expected them to make her a full timer. And then she's just gotten stronger with each season, so you never know. Some people can surprise you.

01:08:53
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, listen, this cast surprised me. And once again shout out to the cast and crew of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City an amazing, an amazing season a ten out of a ten.

01:09:06
