It's the Lapsed Fan Wrestling Podcast with Jack encron Seo and JP Sorrow. It's
the twenty twenty three TLF Christmas Show. Though he had wrapping two is behind
us, as listeners of our last show will know, but it's our turn
to give back here as chairman to the Solar System, we thought, why
not gift wrapped some episodes of a little something we're calling Lapsed GPT, leveraging
the chat GPT Large Language Model to train it if you will on the Rogue's
Gallery of Lapsed Characters. As we come up our TLFX and man is it
producing some money? Professor hul Kogan, teaching a postmodernism class, gets concerned
the last time we were with you and this time, boss, what's the
scenario? Well, this is I wrote. I did have it right several
times because I was I didn't know this that there are that it will write
a different script every time you kind of add something to it. I wasn't
aware of that. So there were are different verse versions of it that I
that I did when I was trying to kind of finagle the one there.
So let's do I'm gonna do. I'm gonna send you another one in the
same I'm gonna I'll just do it over. I'll just just order the chat
now it'll uh and I kind of the script doesn't format well, so let
me just send you an email. So you're gonna pick one of the many
versions. Is that what you're saying. Yeah, this is a newer version
of it. This is a difference. This was in one of the kind
of the precursors, and we're following I don't know, not really rules,
but we will sort of disclose what the prompts were to generate the script.
Sometimes Boss wants to disclose that last. Sometimes we'll do it as we go,
as we've done when we've played around with this idea before in the body
of some of our main shows. But uh, this we fucked around with
this thing enough to know this has enough legs for it to be its own
little occasional series. I mean, this has the uh, this has the
same prompts as the previous one. Okay, except this time it just it
wrote it differently and the same prompts as in Hulkogan postmodernism, class all that.
Yes, all that stuff. Oh wow, that's fun, all that
stuff. Yeah, that's what kind of was like. It was. I
didn't. I wasn't prepared for that. That made me very nervous. That's
a fun little experiment to kick this thing off, because, yeah, we're
not just bouncing around with a million different scatter brained ideas. We're really kind
of peeling back the layer and how this thing works a bit. Right,
So they're walking with the boss man talking to him about chat GPT, what
it is and how it works, and you know how there's no source material
really and how fucking impossible that can be to wrap your head around. Yeah,
but sometimes all the source materials that you need are your coach hereman saying,
here's the state of affairs. Here are our players, Here's what's going
through their mind, Here's what motivates them. And we're about to rock another
installment of that for you here in a wonderful holiday season, made mall the
merrier by the wonderful avalanche of gifts from the TLF Solar System, the Unwrappening
two and other smashing success with gifts that were creative and thoughtful and hilarious and
tasty on levels we couldn't have possibly expected. And so consider the tradition carrying
on absolutely to four. Our big tenth year going here, casting as hard
as we possibly can. And so we have before us the script. And
again, if you're checking this one out, we encourage you to check out
the prior episode of Lapsed GPT, because there we took our first bite at
this apple. And now boss man adjusting the training corpus, if you will
just a bit to produce a bit of a different skit with a bit of
different language. So here we go, Interior college classroom day. The classroom
is filled with students eagerly awaiting Professor hul Cogan's lecture on postmodernism. Hulk Hogan,
dressed in a suit and tie, enters the room with his characteristic swagger.
That's new, so the next thing says, it, says Hulk Hogan,
and then in parentheticals, it says flexing. All right, good,
good, that's hard to get across with that. I right reading it absolutely
all right. Class, Oh, Hoagan is here to teach you about the
wild world of postmodernism. Brother, the student's nod in anticipation, pointing to
the chalkboard. Now, let's talk about deconstruction, the breaking down of traditional
narratives. Dude blass, this is my speed, as as Hull Hogan passionately
delves into the intricacies of postmodernism, his eyes dart around suspiciously, whispering to
himself. Didn't take long something name right, brother, Oh it wrote this
line, fly say it. Hulks has got that feeling. Say it again.
Culture's got that feeling. Okay, now write down in your little notepad
there that we need a T shirt that says that, and the Hulk Nadia
con ladies and gentlemen coming to the Pro Wrestling t Slaps Fans store in twenty
twenty four. The Hull Cogan Houlsture's got that feeling first and what I'm sure
will be two thousand latched GPT T shirt. We don't even have to come
up with the shit anymore of us. Just we have outsourced that shit us.
And hey, you know, all Cogan's a real American and we're going
to outsource like real Americans. Right. One student wearing a harmless stripe harmless
striped shirt apparently, and the last installment the striped shirt was supposed to denote
some level of menace, raises their hand. Professor Hogan, I have a
question about Wait a minute, brother, you with the stripes I knew it.
You're a crooked referee, just like in the ring. Wait a minute,
just like in the ring, so is he? Is he suggesting that
this is a non wrestling referee. The student, let's bewildered. Uh no,
Professor Hogan, I just like stripes. It's a fashion choice, Oh
Cogan, squinty, fashion choice. Huh, you're just trying to distract Hult
Cogan with your what You're just trying to distract Hult Cogan with your fancy words.
Read it again, all right, fashion choice? Huh, You're just
trying to distract Hult Hogan with your fancy words, through your tricks. This
is supposed to be a professor teaching a class on postmodernism, the most dense,
incomprehensible, in some ways, completely inconceivable subject matter you could possibly be
taught in a classroom, just a studying of studying. And this kid says,
I just like stripes, it's a fashion choice. And to this professor
of postmodernism, that constitutes fancy words, make another bullet point in your note
pad. I wanted in Hulkymania font. All it says is fancy words.
We're we're ordering them up, baby, We're cranking up the fucking We're cranking
up the cornet printer. Let's get the let's get that, let's get those.
It's pressed and pushed to do a whole fucking like section of Hogan shirts,
the Hogan series. Uh, go ahead, The student raises their hand.
Professor, We're not trying to distract you. We just want to understand
postmodernism. Understand. Huh you're plotting a pin Hulk Hogan down with your fancy
series. Oh well, fancy words, fancy theories. I'll leave it up
to you. But Holster won't be fooled, are you sure? A colleague,
a fellow teacher sneaks into the room quietly, ready for the colleague.
Colleague, it says, colleague, whispering as you do. Oh my god,
I can't read that. Go on, boss, all right, stop
for that. Hey, what you're gonna do when I sneak up on you?
Brother? Old Cogan already on edge, spins around and sees the colleague.
There's a there's a nineteen ninety six Superstars gimmick if I've ever heard one.
The colleague against the to be like a movie title. Absolutely summer,
the colleague. Some coworkers are just fucking poisons everybody in the break room.
You said you can still up on the hulture. No way, Brother O
Cogan lunges at the colleague lunges. It's like like the Colleague, Okay,
Like if Vince had a gimmick in ninety one called the Coworker, Jim Hurd
would start a character called the Colleague exactly and hire the same wrestler to play
the rule or hip forry to do it all right, Hulk Hogan lenses at
the colleague, see that this is stuff we would never without this strange technology,
and with an incredible burst of strength, body slams them through a nearby
table. That's how we handle sneak attacks. In Hulk Hogan's classroom, the
students staring shock as Hulk Hogan flexes triumphantly. Anyone else want a piece of
Hulk Hogan? No, that's what I thought. For the record, It
sets that quote up with pointing to the falling to the fallen colleague. Al
Kelgan returns to the chalkboard, attempting to regain his composure. Now where were
we? Oh yeah, postmodernism. Brother Bitter is preceeding is a production of
the Lapps entertainment group. Its content is intended for private use only. We want
