WWE SmackDown Review: Solo's Bloodline Victorious, Shinsuke vs Andrade in Non-Title Match, New WWE Women's Champion!

<v Speaker 1>absolute pleasure to have you listening along. Happy New Year
<v Speaker 1>to you all, and I hope you had a good
<v Speaker 1>one whatever you did. It's a bit of a weird
<v Speaker 1>show today as SmackDown was not shown in the UK
<v Speaker 1>on Sky. I checked like a million times and literally
<v Speaker 1>every and there was nothing. No SmackDown. So I thought
<v Speaker 1>maybe Netflix would show it, but checked on there and
<v Speaker 1>next week's episode is showing that it will be on,
<v Speaker 1>but nothing for this week. So I've had to track
<v Speaker 1>down this episode online, which was no great hardship, but
<v Speaker 1>obviously it made me view it in a slightly different way,
<v Speaker 1>So please excuse if you feel the show is a
<v Speaker 1>bit different this week, and normal service will definitely be
<v Speaker 1>resumed next week. So before I start my review, a
<v Speaker 1>little peak behind the curtain. So to speak of how
<v Speaker 1>I put this show together. I watch the show after
<v Speaker 1>the event. I rarely stay up and watch it live
<v Speaker 1>because I'm an old lady who needs her beauty sleep.
<v Speaker 1>But I generally get up in the morning here in
<v Speaker 1>the UK, So we Saturday morning and watch the show
<v Speaker 1>as if it was live. And as I'm watching the show,
<v Speaker 1>I write my notes and I never go back and
<v Speaker 1>change my notes because in my opinion, I think the
<v Speaker 1>show is better as if we're all experiencing it together.
<v Speaker 1>So that's a little explanation of something that you will
<v Speaker 1>see coming up later in the show. I've made the
<v Speaker 1>choice not to change my notes or change the way
<v Speaker 1>I deliver the show. So we kick off tonight, Let's
<v Speaker 1>have no further ado, and let's get to it and
<v Speaker 1>review the SmackDown that aired on January third from Phoenix
<v Speaker 1>and the first three hour episode Past the Red Bull.
<v Speaker 1>So the show kicks off tonight with a look back
<v Speaker 1>at last week and the announcement from Nick Ordus regarding
<v Speaker 1>Ko nicking the Eagle title and the subsequent face off
<v Speaker 1>between him and Cody, and the ladder match that has
<v Speaker 1>been made for the Royal Rumble and as we get
<v Speaker 1>down to things properly tonight, we get Cody coming out first,
<v Speaker 1>to be honest, looking pretty healthy and doing his full entrance.
<v Speaker 1>And as Cody is on his walk to the ring,
<v Speaker 1>Cole reminds us that he's ongoing problems with his neck
<v Speaker 1>since Saturday night's main event. Cody has the mic and
<v Speaker 1>he doesn't ask us what we want to talk about tonight.
<v Speaker 1>He says that the timing is key in this business
<v Speaker 1>and WWE is changing and everything is changing starting tonight
<v Speaker 1>with this three hour show. We're all going on to Netflix,
<v Speaker 1>and he wants to be excited and involved, but he
<v Speaker 1>isn't clear to wrestle and the reason is ko. He
<v Speaker 1>talks about the Royal Rumble and the Ladder Match, and
<v Speaker 1>before he can go any further, Drew's music hits and
<v Speaker 1>out he comes. Corey says this is a surprise, and
<v Speaker 1>Cole says, well, not really, because the transfer window is
<v Speaker 1>an effect and he might be here to do a transfer,
<v Speaker 1>or at least to discuss a transfer. I mean, guys,
<v Speaker 1>I guess at least wwe have an excuse for brand
<v Speaker 1>switching right now with this transfer window that's been invoked
<v Speaker 1>from absolutely nowhere. Corey reminds us of Drew's current mission
<v Speaker 1>to destroy anyone who has helped Roman, and we get
<v Speaker 1>a stair down for what feels like hours. I guess
<v Speaker 1>this is now because they've got a bit of extra
<v Speaker 1>time to play with, so we'll fill that extra hour
<v Speaker 1>from somewhere, and then out of nowhere, randomly, Drew hugs Cody.
<v Speaker 1>Drew grabs a mic and tells Cody that he isn't
<v Speaker 1>here to hurt him, He's here to help him. He
<v Speaker 1>tells Cody that he's about to screw up his entire
<v Speaker 1>life's work, and he says, this is the best generation
<v Speaker 1>there's ever been in terms of wrestlers, and the best
<v Speaker 1>there's ever been in terms of numbers and viewing figures
<v Speaker 1>I assume and gates and merch sales and things like that,
<v Speaker 1>and it's down to Cody's quarterback in He says that
<v Speaker 1>he is here to be Cody's friend, and he says
<v Speaker 1>Kao is running around with a fake belt and being
<v Speaker 1>promoted as champion on their live shows. Cody then says
<v Speaker 1>he would love to say that he felt he Andrew
<v Speaker 1>with kindred spirits, or that he watched as Drew guided
<v Speaker 1>the company through the darkest of all times. I'm guessing
<v Speaker 1>the pandemic era or the thundered a mirror, whatever we're
<v Speaker 1>calling it these days. Cody says he can't say that
<v Speaker 1>as he doesn't believe him. He says he can feel
<v Speaker 1>the tension and if he's going to throw hands, let's
<v Speaker 1>just get to it and fight. Drew says again that
<v Speaker 1>he isn't here to hurt him, just help him, tells
<v Speaker 1>him to watch his back, at which point Kao comes
<v Speaker 1>in from nowhere and from behind attacks Cody. The two
<v Speaker 1>guys start to fight in the ring, but soon enough
<v Speaker 1>they're split up by officials referees, and colonizes that Cody
<v Speaker 1>isn't cleared to wrestle. So pretty long opening segment tonight
<v Speaker 1>with Cody's always long and protracted entrance and plenty of talking.
<v Speaker 1>A decent surprise having Drew show up. But what's his angle?
<v Speaker 1>This is what I'm thinking. Could he be working with Ko,
<v Speaker 1>or at least sympathizing with him. Why didn't he jump
<v Speaker 1>in and help Cody when he was attacked by Ko,
<v Speaker 1>or at least make it clearer warning when he could
<v Speaker 1>see Ko come in, which curious, I'm not a Drew
<v Speaker 1>fan honestly, so I'm quite happy personally for him to
<v Speaker 1>stay over on Raw and do his business over there.
<v Speaker 1>We now see Tonight's arrivals, which is a cornerstone, it
<v Speaker 1>seems all WWE programming wrestlers arriving with Wheeley luggage. So
<v Speaker 1>we get the new Bloodline, who will compete in a
<v Speaker 1>six man tag tonight again members of the og bloodline,
<v Speaker 1>and then Naomi and Bianca. So we get told Naomi
<v Speaker 1>is apparently the number one contender for Naya's title. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>how did that happen? I know that Naomi got a
<v Speaker 1>pin on Nya a few weeks back, which is tenuous,
<v Speaker 1>but maybe that's why. Anyway, So we have Naomi tonight
<v Speaker 1>facing Nya for the women's title. We have Andrade up
<v Speaker 1>next versus Shinsky, not a match for the US Championship,
<v Speaker 1>but Coleso's maybe a road to a possible shot in
<v Speaker 1>the future. So first out we get Shinsky, still super sinisity,
<v Speaker 1>sinister and creepy, really loving his new character. And then
<v Speaker 1>we get Andrade out, who thankfully gets a decent pop
<v Speaker 1>feel like he's finally getting over. He's done some great
<v Speaker 1>work since he's been back, Cory gives us a quick
<v Speaker 1>reminder of what happened last time they met when Shinsky
<v Speaker 1>had removed the turn buckle padding and it caused the
<v Speaker 1>victory off the bell andde is straight on the attack,
<v Speaker 1>going up top, hitting a moon Salt to the outside
<v Speaker 1>and remains in charge on a great roll and is
<v Speaker 1>looking good as he puts Shinski in the corner, but
<v Speaker 1>Shinski just explodes out takes Andarali out with the big
<v Speaker 1>forearm and they trade blows in the center of the ring,
<v Speaker 1>with Shinsky starting to take charge. Goes to the second rope,
<v Speaker 1>hit in the knee, in the face, goes for the
<v Speaker 1>pin and kicks Shinsky. Goes to the turn buckle and
<v Speaker 1>removes the pad because it worked once when Earth, wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>it work again? But this time Anderardo manages to use
<v Speaker 1>that to his advantage, going for a cover off of
<v Speaker 1>a move into the exposed turn bottle. I turn buckle
<v Speaker 1>gets a close two count and Andrade now top and
<v Speaker 1>hits his absolutely beautiful doll moon Salt and gets as
<v Speaker 1>a result a super super close pin like a two
<v Speaker 1>point nine. Andrader looks for the message, but Shinsky counters
<v Speaker 1>that Andarde comes back with a huge back elbow and
<v Speaker 1>another super close to count another two point nine and
<v Speaker 1>has Shinsky up top looking for a superplex, but Shinsky
<v Speaker 1>manages to sneak out of Andredi's cutches and slams his
<v Speaker 1>face into the top of the ring post off that
<v Speaker 1>Shinsky hits the King Chaser and that's it, lights out
<v Speaker 1>for a three count and a win for Shinsky. I
<v Speaker 1>thought this was a great match. I didn't think Shinsky
<v Speaker 1>looked that strong at any point really, Andrade had the
<v Speaker 1>upper hand most of the way, So I like how
<v Speaker 1>wwe continue to build Andrade and Shinsky doing the bare
<v Speaker 1>minimum to skate through his matches, but the bare minimum
<v Speaker 1>is still pretty blooming good for him. As Shinsky celebrates
<v Speaker 1>La Knight's music, hits and outcomes the former US champ
<v Speaker 1>and starts to beat down on Shinsky, which the crowd
<v Speaker 1>are completely loving. Night grabs the mic and says that
<v Speaker 1>one way or another he is coming to collect his opportunity.
<v Speaker 1>Cole tells us that Night is in a much better
<v Speaker 1>place and is more ready for Shinsgate this time around.
<v Speaker 1>Should there be a different match, so another match, there
<v Speaker 1>would be a different outcome. Backstage and we get pretty
<v Speaker 1>Deadly with Apollo Cruise and they tell him one thing
<v Speaker 1>they learned on the streets is that snitches do get stitches,
<v Speaker 1>which is hilarious because Pretty Deadly are incredibly posh and
<v Speaker 1>when they say things like that, it just sounds funny.
<v Speaker 1>Cruse says that everyone knew they were lying and that
<v Speaker 1>it was di Y that attacked the street Profits. Then
<v Speaker 1>we get regarded alf Fantasma come along and they obviously
<v Speaker 1>have an issue with Pretty Deadly about the lying and
<v Speaker 1>saying that it was them that attacked the Street Profits,
<v Speaker 1>and they start to beat down on Pretty Deadly, but
<v Speaker 1>are pulled apart by Nick Nick Oldest or I believe
<v Speaker 1>in the Gladiator as we still know him. Nick tells
<v Speaker 1>Pretty Deadly to hang around for a chat, and before
<v Speaker 1>they can have that chat, Dry come along and say
<v Speaker 1>why is Nick taking Apollo stooges, which I thought was
<v Speaker 1>quite funny. Word over Pretty Deadly Dy say they know
<v Speaker 1>what Pretty Deadly want and that is very that they
<v Speaker 1>want a tag team title match, and if they want that,
<v Speaker 1>it's very important they leave tonight as champions in their
<v Speaker 1>match against the MotorCity machine Guns. So, in other words,
<v Speaker 1>d l I have got themselves a bit of insurance
<v Speaker 1>in the form of pretty deadly like this is a
<v Speaker 1>fun angle. I like what they're doing with the tag titles,
<v Speaker 1>and it's great to see this many different teams involved
<v Speaker 1>directly in the picture. I'm not completely sure what they're
<v Speaker 1>doing with Apollo. They seem to just be randomly inserting
<v Speaker 1>him here. But maybe he's going to pull out a
<v Speaker 1>tag team partner from somewhere. Perhaps there's something in this
<v Speaker 1>transfer window, perhaps there's an an XT call up or
<v Speaker 1>something like that. But not hating it. Please to see
<v Speaker 1>Apollo getting some TV time and hopefully he can be
<v Speaker 1>used rather than potentially released. Quick side note here, I've
<v Speaker 1>just noticed, was the ring Matt always blue or is
<v Speaker 1>this a new thing? I will go back and have
<v Speaker 1>a look at past episodes, but definitely thought the Ring
<v Speaker 1>Mat looked bluer tonight. Anyway. Now coming out, we have
<v Speaker 1>Meechin fresh off her loss to Chelsea Green for the
<v Speaker 1>US title. She's facing Piper Niven. Piper comes out to
<v Speaker 1>Chelsea's music, which I can't get over. I think it's
<v Speaker 1>a bit weird because I think Piper does have her
<v Speaker 1>own music, but outcomes Piper to Chelsea's music Obviously, with Chelsea,
<v Speaker 1>who as a Canadian, is dressed head to toe in
<v Speaker 1>the stars and stripes, which again is quite funny, and
<v Speaker 1>we have Corey standing up basically pledging his allegiance to
<v Speaker 1>Chelsea as the US as the US title holder. As
<v Speaker 1>we kick off, Piper powers Meeching into the corner, but
<v Speaker 1>Meechin manages to use her speed and pull off some
<v Speaker 1>impressive moves, including Harra kan Rana on the outside, but
<v Speaker 1>Piper hits a sidewalk slam taking over. Leaching hits a
<v Speaker 1>ballder on Piper, but Piper comes back with Meeching back
<v Speaker 1>in the corner. She misses the cannoniball, Meeching with gains
<v Speaker 1>control of the match with a cannonball of our own.
<v Speaker 1>Meechin gets distracted by Green, giving Piper a chance to recover.
<v Speaker 1>Meeching missus eat the Feet and Piper hits her with
<v Speaker 1>a driver, getting a two count, and Piper seems to
<v Speaker 1>go for Naya's annihilator, which she misses connecting with Meachin's
<v Speaker 1>boot and then Meechin formally hits eat the Feet on
<v Speaker 1>Piper and manages to get the win on her. I'm
<v Speaker 1>pleased that they are choosing to continue this storyline and
<v Speaker 1>give Meet Jim more time on TV. I'm not sure
<v Speaker 1>where we're going with this. It looks like we might
<v Speaker 1>be headed for a rematch between these two, possibly but
<v Speaker 1>rumble possibly before. I wouldn't hate to see meechin with
<v Speaker 1>the belt. I like what they're doing with her at
<v Speaker 1>the moment, but I think Chelsea should keep hold of
<v Speaker 1>it for a while longer. And she's such a great
<v Speaker 1>heel champion. She's doing it a good job without actually
<v Speaker 1>having defended it thus far. We now go backstage where
<v Speaker 1>we see the Wise Man arriving and Cole tells us
<v Speaker 1>that he must be out next. Before that, we get
<v Speaker 1>a promo pre recorded from Naomi telling us that we
<v Speaker 1>all have the glowin us and we don't have to
<v Speaker 1>experience life the way we've been told, but we can
<v Speaker 1>be led by the dreams in our hearts. Okay, maybe
<v Speaker 1>they're setting up to win the title. I don't think so,
<v Speaker 1>but who knows. They're really pushing Naomi tonight. Let's see
<v Speaker 1>what happens.
<v Speaker 2>Now.
<v Speaker 1>We've got Hayman already in the ring. God, it's good
<v Speaker 1>to have him back, because he does his normal intro
<v Speaker 1>just feels very comforting. He says he's here to set
<v Speaker 1>the record straight, and on Monday, we're going to find
<v Speaker 1>out who the real tribal chief is. He says it
<v Speaker 1>was him and Roman who taught Solo to be the
<v Speaker 1>next in nine to take over in the future. Roman
<v Speaker 1>was ready to stand down, then Solo would rain as chief.
<v Speaker 1>He says that Solo stole the Ilafala from Roman's bag,
<v Speaker 1>and he says he didn't earn it, he stole it.
<v Speaker 1>He says he got rid of Jimmy, and he got
<v Speaker 1>rid of him the wise man, as he knew that
<v Speaker 1>no sane man would ever acknowledge him, so he brought
<v Speaker 1>in his new bloodline, who were a band of not
<v Speaker 1>worthy of being WWE wrestlers. And I think he calls animals.
<v Speaker 1>He says, at raw this Monday, he promises that the
<v Speaker 1>OTC will win become the one and only tribal chief.
<v Speaker 1>As he goes to leave the ring, Solo's music hits
<v Speaker 1>and he makes his way down to the ring alone
<v Speaker 1>at the moment, but I think everyone's thinking, surely we've
<v Speaker 1>got Timer Tom Gregjaco for two hiding somewhere. And he
<v Speaker 1>stands in the ring opposite Hayman and the crowd chant
<v Speaker 1>for the OTC. Hayman says that he's about ten seconds
<v Speaker 1>away from pissing his pants, which I thought was so
<v Speaker 1>far line of the night. He says he knows that
<v Speaker 1>if he even blinks in the wrong way at Solo,
<v Speaker 1>he will call out the rest of the blood line
<v Speaker 1>and he'll get put through the table again. Solo puts
<v Speaker 1>his hand out and Hayman hands over the mic. Crowd
<v Speaker 1>chanting Solo sucks, and he asks Phoenix to acknowledge him
<v Speaker 1>as always. He gets a very booey reply to that
<v Speaker 1>no one seems to really be acknowledging him. Solo says
<v Speaker 1>it's time for the wise man to acknowledge the truth.
<v Speaker 1>He says he wants to owe Haman a favor and
<v Speaker 1>he needs someone to hold the Illa Falla this Monday
<v Speaker 1>on Raw, someone who respects the family and the Ola Falla.
<v Speaker 1>He says, if Roman beats him, Hayman will put the
<v Speaker 1>Ila Vala around his neck and Solo will acknowledge Roman.
<v Speaker 1>But when Solo beats Roman, he says he will beat him.
<v Speaker 1>He wants Hayman to put the Ila fall around his
<v Speaker 1>neck so everyone knows he owns it and he owns
<v Speaker 1>Hayman and he will be his wise man forever, leaving
<v Speaker 1>Roman with no choice but to acknowledge him. Hayman makes
<v Speaker 1>no comments to this and leaves the ring. What do
<v Speaker 1>you guys think happens here? I think Roman wins and
<v Speaker 1>becomes the undisputed tribal chief. But what's the c M
<v Speaker 1>Punk favor? Do we think that this will play in here?
<v Speaker 1>He's punk gonna appear for Haman? I mean it might
<v Speaker 1>play into a completely different storyline in terms of the favor.
<v Speaker 1>Who knows, and maybe we get Hamen something to do
<v Speaker 1>with the SETH Punk match on the same night. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know, I do know. I can't wait for Raw
<v Speaker 1>on Netflix either way. We then get a promo from
<v Speaker 1>the Motor sit Machine Guns telling Johnny off basically for
<v Speaker 1>stubbing him in the back and basically telling him that
<v Speaker 1>it only took them three matches to win the titles
<v Speaker 1>and it will take the money one to win them back.
<v Speaker 1>It was a bit longer than that, but that was
<v Speaker 1>basically the crux of it. The tag match with DII
<v Speaker 1>versus Machine Guns is up next, and first of all,
<v Speaker 1>we've got Champer in Saban. They tie up in the
<v Speaker 1>middle of the ring. Saban with a couple of arm drags,
<v Speaker 1>gets in the upper hand and makes the tag to Shelley,
<v Speaker 1>who continues the offensive on Champer. Sad to say that
<v Speaker 1>the crowd are pretty quiet for this one. At the moment,
<v Speaker 1>Johnny is tagged in and the Motor City Machine Guns
<v Speaker 1>pull excellent double team moved through the ropes, taking out
<v Speaker 1>both members of DIY. We then have Champer in with Shelley.
<v Speaker 1>Both men are down. We get double tag made as
<v Speaker 1>Shelley unloads on Johnny and taking out Champer on the outside.
<v Speaker 1>We get quick two care aunt on Johnny. Champ up
<v Speaker 1>with the distraction and gets hold of Shelley for Johnny
<v Speaker 1>to deliver a kick, but Shelley counters with the kick
<v Speaker 1>of his own, put in the MotorCity machine Guns back
<v Speaker 1>in charge with a beautiful double suicide dive through the ropes.
<v Speaker 1>We get tag made and Goorgano starts to fight back,
<v Speaker 1>but it's taken out with double kicks from MotorCity machine Guns.
<v Speaker 1>Champer save the day, breaking upper pin as Champa and
<v Speaker 1>Save and go toe to toe in the middle of
<v Speaker 1>the ring with a chuke off. It starts to break
<v Speaker 1>down then as everyone's back in the ring, remembering that
<v Speaker 1>we have Champa legal with Shelley, we get a blind
<v Speaker 1>tag and someone else standing double team moves as always
<v Speaker 1>from the motor seating machine guns on Champa, and as
<v Speaker 1>Shelley goes up top, we get the predicted appearance from
<v Speaker 1>Pretty Deadly with a distraction as they pulled the double
<v Speaker 1>team and Shelley kicks out. We then get the lost
<v Speaker 1>Gazas out to chase off Pretty Deadly in the ring.
<v Speaker 1>There's a double submission move on DIY, who looked to
<v Speaker 1>be on the ver just tapping as Pretty Deadly come
<v Speaker 1>back into the ring, followed closely by Los Gazos, who
<v Speaker 1>caused the DQ and DIY retain. So I guess this
<v Speaker 1>was a little Benny Hill with the chasing around the
<v Speaker 1>ring thing, and we knew that Pretty Deadly were going
<v Speaker 1>to feature in this match. Still probably the right outcome
<v Speaker 1>with DIY to retain. They've got so much heat right now,
<v Speaker 1>there is a lot of tread left on the tire,
<v Speaker 1>so to speak. Cory on Comm's doing an excellent job
<v Speaker 1>of making Johnny even more of a heel, telling stories
<v Speaker 1>about their past together and how Johnny prevented people coming
<v Speaker 1>up into WWE and how he's a parasite who latches
<v Speaker 1>onto others. This is really good stuff and the tag
<v Speaker 1>division is finally interesting again, and that's without the Street
<v Speaker 1>profits even featuring tonight, So good stuff. Now we go
<v Speaker 1>backstage and we have Naya who's complaining to Candice, asking
<v Speaker 1>where Tiffy is. Candace, as always, takes the opportunity to
<v Speaker 1>put the knife in and say how sensitive Tiffy years,
<v Speaker 1>and how that she's probably upset from what Naya said
<v Speaker 1>last week. Candace is not to worry, she is there,
<v Speaker 1>and that Tiffany tends to over complicate things anyway. Nya
<v Speaker 1>tells Candace to keep the anchor out of the way tonight.
<v Speaker 1>We then get Sammy backstage, who bumps into Camelo. He
<v Speaker 1>says if Strayman had interfered, he would have won their
<v Speaker 1>match last week. As a bit of back and forth
<v Speaker 1>between them and the USOS appear, Mellow skulks off and
<v Speaker 1>as the USO's leave, they bump into the Absolute Nutter,
<v Speaker 1>who is Ko, who tells them basically, watch you back.
<v Speaker 1>We then get Cody backstage with Nick, who asked if
<v Speaker 1>he's okay. He says Cody used to think about the
<v Speaker 1>future of both the company and his own future. Cody
<v Speaker 1>says that Nick's a good boss and that he has
<v Speaker 1>a right to make him do media, sign autographs and
<v Speaker 1>bench him till the rumble if he wants, but Cody
<v Speaker 1>has the right to call his shot. He says if
<v Speaker 1>he sees Ko, he will drop him on site. And
<v Speaker 1>now we have the woman's title match, which is Naomi
<v Speaker 1>versus Nia. Cole reminds us that it was twenty seventeen
<v Speaker 1>the last time Nami on a singles title, so almost
<v Speaker 1>eight years ago, and they really are pushing Naomi tonight.
<v Speaker 1>Couldn't be, could it? I don't know. Nya makes her
<v Speaker 1>way to the ring with Candice and still no sign
<v Speaker 1>of Tiffany. Could that mean something? And I've just noticed,
<v Speaker 1>because you know, are that observant, that we've got Lillian

<v Speaker 1>offense on Nya, but Nya powers out delivers a head
<v Speaker 1>butt to Naomi, chucking her across the ring like a
<v Speaker 1>rag doll Naomi with a drop toe hold on Nya,
<v Speaker 1>but Nia couickle back on top. Naomi gets delivered another
<v Speaker 1>head buck, sending her outside and Nya misses the annihilator,
<v Speaker 1>but as Naomi tries to CAPITALI capitalize, she's caught amid
<v Speaker 1>air slammed to the mat for a cover, only just
<v Speaker 1>managing to kick out. We get another slam and an
<v Speaker 1>elbow drop for Nya. The crowd a chanting tiffy time.
<v Speaker 1>As Nya has a chin knock on Theaomi. She tries
<v Speaker 1>to rally but is delivered shouldered first into the ring
<v Speaker 1>post and then gets her head squished by Nya's ass.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not sure what that move is called. She goes
<v Speaker 1>for a pin, but Naomi kicks in two again. Nya
<v Speaker 1>gets Naomi up, but Naomi manages to counter with a
<v Speaker 1>sunset flip. Going for a cover. Nya kicks out and
<v Speaker 1>she now has Naomi set out for the annihilator, but
<v Speaker 1>Naomi gets up and manages to hit a leg drop
<v Speaker 1>on Naya, who kicks in two. We get Nya with
<v Speaker 1>a head butt, Naomi sidesteps and Nya into the post.
<v Speaker 1>Naomi hits a double axe handle and a big insecurity
<v Speaker 1>off the second rope and hits manages to hit samo
<v Speaker 1>and drop on Nya and gets a super close two count.
<v Speaker 1>That was very impressive stuff from Naomi managing to get
<v Speaker 1>Nya up and hitting a samo and drop. Naomi tries
<v Speaker 1>to set up for a moon salt, but Nya gets
<v Speaker 1>up and has Naomi caught up in the ropes and
<v Speaker 1>smashes her. Nya from the second rope and hits her
<v Speaker 1>leg drop and somehow Naomi kicks out of the cover
<v Speaker 1>despite looking atlee squished. Naomi hits a tornado DDT Nya
<v Speaker 1>only just manages to kick out. Nya looks to roll
<v Speaker 1>out of the ring, but Naomi stops her again, goes
<v Speaker 1>for a cover again, with Nya narrowly kicking out. Naomi
<v Speaker 1>hits Blockbuster for another close too, and Naomi's absolutely on
<v Speaker 1>fire here now from the second rope, reverses the samo
<v Speaker 1>and drop and another count, and then Naomi applies a
<v Speaker 1>submission moved Nayah. At this point, Candice districts distracts the
<v Speaker 1>ref and Bianca comes to the rescue, taking out Candace,
<v Speaker 1>but Nya, looking mad as hell, comes around on the
<v Speaker 1>outside takes out Biancha and then back in the ring,
<v Speaker 1>tries to hit the Annihi later, but Naomi has its
<v Speaker 1>scout scouted and counters taking out from the top rop
<v Speaker 1>and both women are down as out comes Tiffany for
<v Speaker 1>another fake cash in. She wallops Naomi with the briefcase
<v Speaker 1>and eventually Nya gets the whim So I thought she
<v Speaker 1>was a great match. Naomi was awesome, and there were
<v Speaker 1>at least three or four times when I was really
<v Speaker 1>thinking that she could get the win. It was absolutely fab.
<v Speaker 1>As you know, I'm no Nya fan, but she did
<v Speaker 1>great here, working really hard for this match. I did
<v Speaker 1>think when Tiffany came down that we were going to
<v Speaker 1>get an actual cash in. Yes I'm a mug, but
<v Speaker 1>again we didn't. I'm not sure the money in the
<v Speaker 1>bank suitcase has ever been utilized as a long term
<v Speaker 1>storytelling aid on the women's side, certainly this much before
<v Speaker 1>and as frustrated as I am by the will she
<v Speaker 1>won't she roller coaster, I am enjoying this. So Naomi loses,
<v Speaker 1>but only via heally sheeigans, and I wouldn't mind if
<v Speaker 1>she got a rematch as this was quality. Okay, guys,
<v Speaker 1>so here we go as you can identify, this is
<v Speaker 1>the problem with writing notes live, and I chose not
<v Speaker 1>to change that bit because all of that bit was
<v Speaker 1>completely correct and true time of writing. But as the
<v Speaker 1>Heels are celebrating, Tiffany sends Naya back to beat down
<v Speaker 1>on Biancha some more, and as her back is turned,
<v Speaker 1>Tiffy attacks Nya with the briefcase and then takes out
<v Speaker 1>Candice Banca Man just to hit a kod on Naya,
<v Speaker 1>which is no mean feat, and Tiffany goes up for
<v Speaker 1>the prettiest moon salt hitting it on. Naya, gets the
<v Speaker 1>three coump and wins. Oh my god, get ukrayons out, guys,
<v Speaker 1>and color me surprised and also delighted. Tiffy is champed,
<v Speaker 1>the crowds going nuts, and the pyro goes off. It's
<v Speaker 1>off the chart. I could not be more pleased. It's
<v Speaker 1>definitely Tiffy time and long ray she reign. I was
<v Speaker 1>completely mugged off there. I, as you heard, had a
<v Speaker 1>little rant ready about how trifle she needs to get
<v Speaker 1>on with it and get her cast in and stop
<v Speaker 1>the teasing, and then from out of nowhere, I didn't
<v Speaker 1>see it coming. Right at the end of the match, bosh.
<v Speaker 1>There we go, Tiffy's champion. I'm happy and brilliant, absolutely fantastic.
<v Speaker 1>So we now go backstage with Byron and La Knight.
<v Speaker 1>We see La Night finishing up talking to Nick. He
<v Speaker 1>says that shins Gay has hell to paint and that
<v Speaker 1>he will. Knight says he is paying back Shinskay next
<v Speaker 1>week as he has a match for the title. Then
<v Speaker 1>it's onto the rumble where he will win Main Event Mania.
<v Speaker 1>Short and sweet and there, I say, slightly random, but
<v Speaker 1>still there we go. I can't see La Knight winning
<v Speaker 1>next week, but I think he is a good shout
<v Speaker 1>to win the Rumble of Main Event WrestleMania with a
<v Speaker 1>bit of luck. So now we've got tonight's main event,
<v Speaker 1>New Bloodline versus the Og blood Line in a six
<v Speaker 1>man tag match. New blood Line already in the ring
<v Speaker 1>as the Ogs make their way through the crowd into
<v Speaker 1>the arena pre de bell, we have all the men
<v Speaker 1>getting into it in the ring, and we have the
<v Speaker 1>OG blood Line taking early control before things really get started.
<v Speaker 1>As the bell goes, we've got Jay in the ring
<v Speaker 1>with Fatou. He quickly tags in Tomatonga, who takes the
<v Speaker 1>upper hand on Jay beating him down in the corner,
<v Speaker 1>but Jay fights back, tying up Tonga and getting a
<v Speaker 1>tag to Sammy, who goes off the top with an
<v Speaker 1>axe hangle axe handle and a tag to Jimmy, and
<v Speaker 1>we have Solo taking out Jimmy from the outside while
<v Speaker 1>the ref is distracted. And now we have Solo in
<v Speaker 1>the ring and he is chipsing off to Roman via
<v Speaker 1>the camera whilst punching Jimmy in the face, and we've
<v Speaker 1>got more Shenanigans from the new bloodline. While the ref
<v Speaker 1>is distracted and Solo retaining control, Jimmy manages to tag
<v Speaker 1>in Sammy, who gets in some great shots on Solo. Finally,
<v Speaker 1>on the third or fourth attempt, Sammy manages to get
<v Speaker 1>Solo down with a huge clothesline, but is caught by
<v Speaker 1>Solo when he tries to move from the top and
<v Speaker 1>Solo hits spinning Solo on Sammy, followed by a Simmo
<v Speaker 1>and drop. Sammy looks pretty down and hes dragged to
<v Speaker 1>the corner where Tonga is tagged back in and Sammy
<v Speaker 1>gets absolutely mothered. And then we get Fattouo tagged back in,
<v Speaker 1>who smashly is Sammy in the corner, and then Solo
<v Speaker 1>is tagged back in and Sam he's trying to fight back.
<v Speaker 1>He manages to hit blue Thunder on Solo and goes
<v Speaker 1>for the tag. Manages to get JAYI Solo tags in Tamatonga.
<v Speaker 1>Jay lays out Tonga and we get a blind tag
<v Speaker 1>to Jimmy who worked together. Seeing them work together like
<v Speaker 1>old school USO's is great. They carry carry on the
<v Speaker 1>beat down on Tonga. We get Fatuu in to try
<v Speaker 1>and help, taking out Jimmy. Jay gets a cover following
<v Speaker 1>the net breaker, but Tonga kicks out and then there
<v Speaker 1>is some sneerish Shananigans say that with a mouthful of
<v Speaker 1>wine gums going on outside the ring taking out the
<v Speaker 1>rest of the og bloodline for now. Tonga hits a
<v Speaker 1>modified DDT on j J kicks out. Tag is made
<v Speaker 1>Fatou and we get Jay with a superkick. Sammy back
<v Speaker 1>in quick tag to Jimmy and the og bloodlines take
<v Speaker 1>turns smashing Fattou in the corner one after the other,
<v Speaker 1>so he gets smashed three times in a row. Jimmy
<v Speaker 1>is legal goes off the top with a n USO
<v Speaker 1>splash which looked a bit weird. I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy was protecting his foot or ankle or whatever, but
<v Speaker 1>Fatou kicks in two. Fatou goes to the top for
<v Speaker 1>a splash which looked like a normal splash, followed by
<v Speaker 1>a moon salt, and we have Sammy in to break
<v Speaker 1>up the cover, a blind tag to j and the
<v Speaker 1>usos deliver a double superkick to Fatu, who kicks in
<v Speaker 1>two and then from nowhere outcomes Drew. Jay takes Drew out,
<v Speaker 1>but then gets caught by Fatu in a Samoan drop.
<v Speaker 1>Fatou tags in Solo. Jay spears Fattou and hits the splash,
<v Speaker 1>but Fatu isn't legal, so all that was in vain.
<v Speaker 1>Solo hits the Samoan spike and takes the pin and
<v Speaker 1>the win for the New blood line. So that's where
<v Speaker 1>we leave it. So a win for the New blood Line.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not sure that these days that tells us anything
<v Speaker 1>about what the outcome of the match for the Tribal
<v Speaker 1>Chiefdom might look like. On the new episode of Rawal
<v Speaker 1>on Netflix, I thought this show was great. I was
<v Speaker 1>really worried that we were just going to get hours
<v Speaker 1>of entrances, really long protractive promos and random segments, and
<v Speaker 1>it wasn't without that. Some of the entrances were really long.
<v Speaker 1>For example, in that last match the main event, the
<v Speaker 1>og Bloodline entrance took about three hours, Cody's as always
<v Speaker 1>takes ages, and there were some slightly random backstage segments.
<v Speaker 1>But all in all, I really enjoyed it, a great show.
<v Speaker 1>Barely noticed the extra hour, to be honest, some of
<v Speaker 1>the storytelling was so absorbing. I can't get over the
<v Speaker 1>Tiffy cash in and what a great use of the
<v Speaker 1>money in the bank suitcase that was. I was fooled,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm no wrestling genius, but I did not see
<v Speaker 1>that coming. I can't wait to see what Tiffy's rain
<v Speaker 1>brings and the continuation of all the stories here tonight.
<v Speaker 1>So we had the continuation of the tag team titles
<v Speaker 1>DII Motorsuity machine Guns, the Guard of Delf and Tasma
<v Speaker 1>pretty deadly. We've still got to bring in street profits.
<v Speaker 1>That's all really exciting and genuinely no clue where that's
<v Speaker 1>going to go to La night. We've got, for some reason,
<v Speaker 1>Drew sticking his nose in over on SmackDown business. You know,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not loving that, but there we go. And then
<v Speaker 1>we've got the og versus the new bloodline. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>it's just all amazing and Raw on Monday is going
<v Speaker 1>to be completely off the charts. What a time him
<v Speaker 1>to be a fan of the WWE guys. So and
<v Speaker 1>that just about does it for this week's show. Again,
<v Speaker 1>acologies if it was a slightly different show to normal,
<v Speaker 1>you have to mix up my routine and my recording
<v Speaker 1>and everything to manage to get the show down. But hopefully,
