TFP 396: Master Your Technique - Tom Allsopp’s Secrets to Power and Consistency

The Tennis Files Podcast

On Episode 396 of The Tennis Files Podcast, I interviewed coach Tom Allsopp about the secrets to power and consistency in tennis.

Tom Allsopp is a tennis coach and the founder of TPA Tennis, a popular YouTube channel dedicated to helping players of all levels improve their tennis technique. With a passion for breaking down complex concepts, Tom offers in-depth tutorials on everything from footwork and ball control to mastering advanced strokes. He has worked with players of all ages for over 20 years, on three continents: England, Australia, and America. Although he has USTA and LTA qualification, he learned the most about coaching by having Keith Reynolds as his mentor. Tom’s approach combines technical expertise with practical tips to help players develop a more effective and efficient game.

On the show, you’ll learn the key elements of a proper forehand grip for different types of shots, how to increase backhand depth and consistency, how to add more spin to your serve, how to improve reflexes and anticipation, and much more!
