<v Speaker 1>This is w w E superstar Drew mcintarr, and you're
<v Speaker 1>listening to the WWE podcast, the one that everybody wants me.
<v Speaker 2>So work.
<v Speaker 1>Your ass is my You're gonna acknowledge me.
<v Speaker 3>Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. Hello, whatever time it
<v Speaker 3>is with you and wherever you are. Thank you for
<v Speaker 3>downloading this SmackDown review as part of the WWE Podcast.
<v Speaker 3>As always, it's an absolute pleasure to have you listening along.
<v Speaker 3>I'm Amanda, your host of the SmackDown Review. Let's start
<v Speaker 3>with a quick look back over Saturday Night's main event
<v Speaker 3>last week. I don't think I did too bad on
<v Speaker 3>my predictions. We had Sammy and Punk versus Bron and
<v Speaker 3>Seth from Bron and Seth as I think I predicted
<v Speaker 3>with my head. This was a great match as was expected,
<v Speaker 3>with Hayman playing his part on a shock return of
<v Speaker 3>Big Bronson. Read to join satisfaction at the end while
<v Speaker 3>really looking forward to seeing what those guys can do
<v Speaker 3>in this new faction which yet remains nameless. Chelsea versus
<v Speaker 3>Zelena a late addition to the card and ended in
<v Speaker 3>Zelena retaining and Chelsea get in her nose busted as
<v Speaker 3>expected see her half killed Truth in an absolute squash
<v Speaker 3>stilled cage match between Priest and Drew was a whim
<v Speaker 3>for Priest and ended with him walking out of the cage,
<v Speaker 3>Jay Whoso beat Logan Paul retaining the title. But the
<v Speaker 3>real headlines happened when Sina tried to interfere, pulling the
<v Speaker 3>ref from the count, having said earlier to Jay back
<v Speaker 3>stage that wouldn't it really ruined wrestling if a YouTuber
<v Speaker 3>won the title. At the very end of the match,
<v Speaker 3>We've got a long waited Cody return who makes the
<v Speaker 3>save and sets up Sena and Logan versus Cody and
<v Speaker 3>Jet Money in the bank, and maybe this is the
<v Speaker 3>start to the route back for Cody to take the
<v Speaker 3>title from Sena. All in all, not bad Saturday night
<v Speaker 3>main events. Love the retro feel, the announcers, the music, everything.
<v Speaker 3>I think it's a really good concept and I'm really
<v Speaker 3>glad that WWE have brought it back. So let's get
<v Speaker 3>to it and review. The SmackDown ed on May thirty
<v Speaker 3>first from Knoxville, Tennessee, and as always, we get our arrivals.
<v Speaker 3>We've got Cody and Sena face to face tonight, and
<v Speaker 3>Bianca Bellair is back this is her hometown. She's coming
<v Speaker 3>straight out to the ring and gets a massive pop.
<v Speaker 3>Nice to see Biancor back post injury, although she does
<v Speaker 3>still have tape on her fingers, so not sure that
<v Speaker 3>it's entirely post injury. She grabs the mic and says
<v Speaker 3>it feels good to be in Knoxville. She looks quite
<v Speaker 3>emotional as the crowd chant eest and she starts off
<v Speaker 3>by playing a song which all the crowds seem to
<v Speaker 3>know must be a local thing. Seems very exciting, lots
<v Speaker 3>of woos in it. She says this city is so
<v Speaker 3>special to her because it's her hometown and her safe space.
<v Speaker 3>She thanks the crowd and says after every think she's
<v Speaker 3>been through, losing her first Mania match, losing friends, getting injured,
<v Speaker 3>she says she isn't one hundred percent, but she had
<v Speaker 3>to be in Knoxville. And we then get Naomi's music
<v Speaker 3>hits and she says that finally Bianka is back on
<v Speaker 3>SmackDown and Banka says this isn't the time for this
<v Speaker 3>and tries to deflect Naomi is getting booed massively. She
<v Speaker 3>says she just wants to talk. The crowd chant you suck,
<v Speaker 3>Naomi Naomi asks for Bianca's giveness, and she says she's
<v Speaker 3>begging and she wants to fix their friendship. She says
<v Speaker 3>she has tried everything to get hold of her, and
<v Speaker 3>that she even went to her parents' house but no
<v Speaker 3>one was there, so she had to let herself in.
<v Speaker 3>She says, in the photos in her parents' house, she
<v Speaker 3>looks so happy and it reminded her of when they
<v Speaker 3>were tach Champs. Bianca says, no, we're done. He betrayed me,
<v Speaker 3>tells Naomi to stay away from her and her family,
<v Speaker 3>and Naomi sort of snaps and goes a bit dark
<v Speaker 3>and says, wouldn't it be good for both her and
<v Speaker 3>her mum to be in a wheelchair and she would
<v Speaker 3>hate for something bad to happen to her right here,
<v Speaker 3>right now. Before we can go any further with that,
<v Speaker 3>we get Jade's music hit and Jade Naomi go for it.
<v Speaker 3>Jade dispatches her and goes to leave the ring. Having
<v Speaker 3>a stair down with Bianca. Can't still quite get a
<v Speaker 3>read on what's going to happen with their relationship. I
<v Speaker 3>don't think they've really talked much since the all the
<v Speaker 3>truth came out about Naomi and Jade. So she leaves
<v Speaker 3>the ring and outcomes Nia and she's coming down for
<v Speaker 3>her triple threat money in the bank match. So this
<v Speaker 3>was a good first segment. Nice to see Bianca back
<v Speaker 3>and so well received by her home crowd. Looks like
<v Speaker 3>we aren't done between her and Naomi, which is cool.
<v Speaker 3>I guess we need a proper blow off between them.
<v Speaker 3>I do love Naomi as a heel. The comment about
<v Speaker 3>Bianca and her mom being in wheelchairs was the ultimate healiness,
<v Speaker 3>which was absolutely brilliant. I felt she's really embraced her
<v Speaker 3>her heel character. So this triple threat is now and
<v Speaker 3>it's Nia versus Naomi versus Jade. Naomi, in good Healy fashion,
<v Speaker 3>ducks straight out of the ring and that's Nya and
<v Speaker 3>Jade fight it out. Early on. Nya put out by
<v Speaker 3>Jade and Naomi gets back in, gets the upper hand
<v Speaker 3>on Jade, hitting a split leg moon salt on her.
<v Speaker 3>In the corner. We've got Nya back in, squishing Jade
<v Speaker 3>with a hip attack. Surprisingly Naomi getting the best of
<v Speaker 3>both women, but not for long, as Jade comes back
<v Speaker 3>in and clear's house. Nia now hits a double leg
<v Speaker 3>drop on both women, chucking Jade out of the ring
<v Speaker 3>and hits another leg drop from the second rope on Naomi,
<v Speaker 3>who looks to be completely squished, but somehow manages to
<v Speaker 3>kick out of the pin. At two, we get a
<v Speaker 3>very brief alliance between Naomi and Nya as they gang
<v Speaker 3>up on Jade. Doesn't last long, though, as Naomi tries
<v Speaker 3>to roll up Nya in a sneaky from behind attack.
<v Speaker 3>This one hots up as Jade hits Jaded and looks
<v Speaker 3>certain for the win, but the count is interrupted by Nya.
<v Speaker 3>We get the now obligatory superplex off the top from Nia,
<v Speaker 3>but this one is surprisingly nicked by Naomi, who steals
<v Speaker 3>Naya's carnage and qualifies for the women's Money in the Bank.
<v Speaker 3>This is the fifth time that Naomi has been in
<v Speaker 3>Money in the Bank match, but the first time with
<v Speaker 3>this super heel character. I am so excited to see
<v Speaker 3>where this goes for her. She is an excellent athlete anyway,
<v Speaker 3>but ad ladders and her heel attitude and I say,
<v Speaker 3>yes please. We've all seen what Naomi is capable of
<v Speaker 3>in matches like the Rumble, So wow, the match was
<v Speaker 3>a good one. All the women put on a banger.
<v Speaker 3>What next for NYA no brief case for her, so
<v Speaker 3>no rerun of what Tiffy did to her last year,
<v Speaker 3>and Jade improving with every single match and is looking
<v Speaker 3>pretty awesome now. So all three women in a great
<v Speaker 3>position backstage with so JC and Fatou. They are interrupted
<v Speaker 3>by Truth, who is talking to himself backstage. Solo makes
<v Speaker 3>a slide comment and Truth asks him if he has
<v Speaker 3>something to say. Jac steps in and tells and Truth
<v Speaker 3>tells him that he's never seen him before, which I
<v Speaker 3>thought was brilliant because it is like he just appear
<v Speaker 3>out of nowhere. He asks Solo if it's some If
<v Speaker 3>JC is his son, another hilarious line. Truth as Solo
<v Speaker 3>if he minds if he takes his son to the
<v Speaker 3>ring and teaches him a lesson. Fatu says Solo and
<v Speaker 3>JC can go off and have their fun, but he
<v Speaker 3>has business to take care of. He has a money
<v Speaker 3>in the bank qualifier. Later backstage, then we get Chelsea
<v Speaker 3>with Nick. She's got one of those handholder face masks
<v Speaker 3>where they're just a picture of you in front of
<v Speaker 3>her face, and Nick keeps saying that he can't understand
<v Speaker 3>there and she has to remove it. She takes down
<v Speaker 3>the face cover into reveal she has one of those
<v Speaker 3>projective nose masks on after she had her nose busted
<v Speaker 3>on Saturday night. She demands that Selena is stripped of
<v Speaker 3>her title and that the title has given to her,
<v Speaker 3>and Nick says there's no need to be ugly about it, Grapeline,
<v Speaker 3>and that Chelsea can have a rematch down the line
<v Speaker 3>once she's medically cleared. Albert and Piper tell Nick that
<v Speaker 3>if he doesn't do something about it, then they will,
<v Speaker 3>and Chelsea suggests Zelena versus Alba, and Alba looks less
<v Speaker 3>than delighted to be voluntold like this, However, he makes
<v Speaker 3>it official and then ask them to leave him alone.
<v Speaker 3>Byron then has Tiffany mackstage and asks how she is
<v Speaker 3>handling the pressure of potential cashim She says that she
<v Speaker 3>can't wait to see who wins the women's money in
<v Speaker 3>the bank so she can prepare. She says whoever comes
<v Speaker 3>for her will be making a huge mistake, and at
<v Speaker 3>that point we get Naomi, who tells her that she's
<v Speaker 3>going to win money in the bank and cash in
<v Speaker 3>and to win the title where and when she wants.
<v Speaker 3>We then get Bliss, who tells her. She needs not
<v Speaker 3>to worry about Naomi. She needs to worry about her
<v Speaker 3>winning money in the bank. So the women's match is
<v Speaker 3>shaping up really nicely for next week. We now have Truth,
<v Speaker 3>who gets a reception like an absolute hero and he's
<v Speaker 3>facing JC. Kicks off with Truth getting smashed around the
<v Speaker 3>ring by JC, and finally Truth gets some offense but
<v Speaker 3>barely seems to register on JC, who quickly turns things
<v Speaker 3>around with a standing moon salt, which for a guy
<v Speaker 3>with his size and stature, is impressive. Truth manages to
<v Speaker 3>hit the five knuckle shuffle on JC, but fails to
<v Speaker 3>get him up for the AA. JC catches him and
<v Speaker 3>hits tour of the island and this one is over quick,
<v Speaker 3>JC with the win over Truth. After the match, JC
<v Speaker 3>and Solo start beating up Truth, but out comes Jimmy
<v Speaker 3>with a chair to defend Truth and stopping the beat down.
<v Speaker 3>Solo is backing off, but Jimmy gets hit from behind
<v Speaker 3>by JC. He's pulled off by Solo, who is clearly
<v Speaker 3>trying to woo Jimmy back into his gang. A decent match,
<v Speaker 3>very short and predictable, and I did think actually not
<v Speaker 3>a bad idea though having Truth featuring at the moment
<v Speaker 3>heavily on TV and pull out the old school Scena
<v Speaker 3>moves to keep people reminded of seeing the face, and
<v Speaker 3>I guess that's going to make Scena's eventual turn back
<v Speaker 3>before he goes easier. I'm not sure if it's just me,
<v Speaker 3>but I really don't think they're going to let Sena
<v Speaker 3>leave the company as a heel. I think we are
<v Speaker 3>going to get a last minute apology turn back, I
<v Speaker 3>love you really, blah blah blah, all that stuff, and
<v Speaker 3>having truth reminding everybody of Seena's old persona. Uh might
<v Speaker 3>just be a stroker genius. We now get profits making
<v Speaker 3>their way to the ring. Montes says that the profits
<v Speaker 3>are leading the charge at the moment. It doesn't matter
<v Speaker 3>who comes after them. They will defend at any time.
<v Speaker 3>That brings out Phraxium. Fraser says, seeing as you guys
<v Speaker 3>are out here talking about defending titles, Phraxium, don't think
<v Speaker 3>they've got a fair shake. Last week, Montes said that
<v Speaker 3>since the Wyatt's interfered, the profits had them beat. Fraser
<v Speaker 3>demands a rematch, and this brings out the MotorCity Machine
<v Speaker 3>Guns who say they want a rematch because the profits
<v Speaker 3>never actually beat them. They say that it's the same
<v Speaker 3>for them, and that brings out DII with Candice on
<v Speaker 3>the mic. She says, to you, guys have had a
<v Speaker 3>million chances. Johnny says that they had to bring in
<v Speaker 3>his wife, Candice because there is a conspiracy theory in
<v Speaker 3>the Tag Division. Champer says that all the people in
<v Speaker 3>the ring have killed the Tag Division and the DIY
<v Speaker 3>had built up. And I think, honestly, everyone keeps mentioning
<v Speaker 3>White six, so we all know exactly what's coming next,
<v Speaker 3>right and shock, here they are. We have a minute
<v Speaker 3>silence with DIY that turns into the lights going spooky,
<v Speaker 3>and as they come back on there at a whit
<v Speaker 3>at six surrounding the ring and soon beating up on
<v Speaker 3>the rest of the Tag Division. Nicki once again from
<v Speaker 3>nowhere takes out Candice and this week it's phrases turned
<v Speaker 3>to eat the Sister Abigail DDT so pleased that the
<v Speaker 3>Whites are back. I think they are going to really
<v Speaker 3>tear up the Tag Division, and I think we're probably
<v Speaker 3>going to get Nicki versus Candice. Yes, please definitely here
<v Speaker 3>for that. Would love to see Nicki in a good
<v Speaker 3>program in singles action. We now get Legardo Delfa Tasma,
<v Speaker 3>Berto still not looking totally into it, and Ethan Paid,
<v Speaker 3>which is at ringside. He has the North American NXT title.
<v Speaker 3>Legardo are facing Ray, Phoenix and Javon Evans and I
<v Speaker 3>guess he is from NXT. I don't know him at all,
<v Speaker 3>but I suppose that's why Ethan Page is at ringside.
<v Speaker 3>Joe Tess reminds us of the past issues between Phoenix
<v Speaker 3>and Lagado and how they try to court him into
<v Speaker 3>joining their gang. We kick off with Phoenix, he's in
<v Speaker 3>with Angel. We get too quick tag, which tag, which
<v Speaker 3>brings in Berto and Evans. Berto with a close to count,
<v Speaker 3>but quickly we see whatever's Evans can do and comms
<v Speaker 3>are right. He is seriously impressive. We've got Phoenix with
<v Speaker 3>a cover on Berto, who kicks it too. Angel dispatches
<v Speaker 3>Phoenix at ringside and continues to beat down on Evans,
<v Speaker 3>tagging in Berto, who gets another close cover Evans with
<v Speaker 3>the tag finally, and Phoenix. He is in, taking out
<v Speaker 3>both of Los Gazas and looking pretty amazing this evening.
<v Speaker 3>He hits a double leg spring Moon Salt and Berto
<v Speaker 3>just manages to break the cover and Evans is back
<v Speaker 3>in and we've got all four guys down in the ring.
<v Speaker 3>Phoenix hits a stump off the rope and Evans from
<v Speaker 3>the top of the ring post to the outside, which
<v Speaker 3>looked huge in an absolutely insane move. We then get
<v Speaker 3>Paige interfering on the outside trying to take out Evans
<v Speaker 3>and Phoenix he a smashed to the face, and we've
<v Speaker 3>got Escobar with the distraction as Los Gazas hit empty
<v Speaker 3>y on Evans and take the win. Wow. That was
<v Speaker 3>a fast and furious match, some amazing moves and plenty
<v Speaker 3>of shenanigans and now win Forllus Gazas. Do we think
<v Speaker 3>that brings Berto firmly back into the fold or is
<v Speaker 3>he still out a good teaser for what is to
<v Speaker 3>come at World's Collide and for the NXT title match
<v Speaker 3>that's coming up to We don't get a vignette from
<v Speaker 3>Why at six. It's Uncle Howdy, short and simple. He
<v Speaker 3>just says that they won't stop until they get what's owed.
<v Speaker 3>So what do we think that is a tag title match?
<v Speaker 3>Or are we thinking they want it all? Imagine Why
<v Speaker 3>at six with all the gold so tag gold, some
<v Speaker 3>world championships, maybe a women's championship for Nikki or does
<v Speaker 3>Bliss join them and do we get a double tag
<v Speaker 3>title gold in one faction so both the men and
<v Speaker 3>the women. That would be really cool. Now, this women's
<v Speaker 3>non title match, we've got Albert versus Zelena, and Albert
<v Speaker 3>is all over Zelena early on and she's looking good
<v Speaker 3>despite Zelena making a mini rally in the middle. He
<v Speaker 3>then gets Selena making a fight back and has Albert
<v Speaker 3>in the corner, but is powered out and slammed by Alba.
<v Speaker 3>Some Shenanigan's ring side by Green and Nevin prevent the
<v Speaker 3>six one nine and ends up ends Selena on her
<v Speaker 3>ass again. Zelena looks for a moon salt, but Alba moves.
<v Speaker 3>Alba goes up and hits the swanton, which looks awesome,
<v Speaker 3>but somehow Zelena kicks out of that. Outside the ring,
<v Speaker 3>we've got Chelsea removing her protective mask and tries to
<v Speaker 3>hit Selena, but missus hitting Piper right in the face.
<v Speaker 3>Selena back in the ring and from nowhere hits Code
<v Speaker 3>Red and gets the win. Now this is a bit controversial,
<v Speaker 3>but on board of this Selena title run, all her
<v Speaker 3>matches follow the same story. She gets absolutely battered, then
<v Speaker 3>scraps back in and Nick nicks the win. It's okay
<v Speaker 3>for a couple of times, but I'm over it. Now
<v Speaker 3>put the belt someone else, literally, anyone else. I'm glad
<v Speaker 3>she's had a title run, but it's boring. The damage
<v Speaker 3>to Chelsea after say looks pretty real. It might be
<v Speaker 3>a real injury when she took off the mask. She's
<v Speaker 3>got a couple of shiners. She definitely got her Becky
<v Speaker 3>Lynch moment for sure. Now backstage to Miss and Mellow.
<v Speaker 3>Miss telling Mellow that tonight they will follow the plan
<v Speaker 3>and if Mellow follow follows the plan, they will win.
<v Speaker 3>Mis tells Mellow that he sacrificed himself so Mellow can
<v Speaker 3>be in the match tonight, he says. Mello says that
<v Speaker 3>he appreciates his help, but he did it by himself
<v Speaker 3>and he needs Mis just to let him be him.
<v Speaker 3>Mis doesn't look happy, and I'm thinking to myself, I
<v Speaker 3>really hope that he screws Mellow tonight in true Miss style.
<v Speaker 3>That would be cool. We get a promo from Julia
<v Speaker 3>in English. She says her goal is to be in dispute.
<v Speaker 3>Admiration or discuss means nothing to her. She doesn't care
<v Speaker 3>what people think. The opponent doesn't matter. She sees theneumonia
<v Speaker 3>as a stepping stone to her destiny. She says she
<v Speaker 3>can't be stopped. Thought this was a good promo and
<v Speaker 3>a good introduction to smack Down for Julia, and I
<v Speaker 3>am very excited to see what she does. We then
<v Speaker 3>go backstage with Selena, who is randomly tipping water over
<v Speaker 3>her boobs a bit weird and unnecessary bit attitude era weird.
<v Speaker 3>She's approached by Julia, who says she sees Selena, but
<v Speaker 3>she sees the title more. Yes, please, now that would
<v Speaker 3>be a feud. I can get on board with. Sign
<v Speaker 3>me up, thank you. What a perfect person to take
<v Speaker 3>the title off Selena. Let's make a petitions WWE and
<v Speaker 3>get that done. We now get Damien out following his
<v Speaker 3>win over Drew at Saturday Night's main event, and I
<v Speaker 3>am really hoping that we had done with the Drew angle.
<v Speaker 3>Give priests a chance to go on to bigger and
<v Speaker 3>better things. I guess we're about to see. Damien gets
<v Speaker 3>a massive pop, says that ever since he beat Drew,
<v Speaker 3>he is breathing in fresh air. He says, Drew and
<v Speaker 3>him went over a year with their beef and that's
<v Speaker 3>not normal for WWE. He says they went to war,
<v Speaker 3>he gave him a concerto and put his ass in
<v Speaker 3>the past. He says he knows Drew is home watching
<v Speaker 3>and he says he still can't stand him, but he
<v Speaker 3>appreciates Drew bringing the Warrior on Saturday night. He says
<v Speaker 3>that he isn't going to stand there and ask what's next.
<v Speaker 3>He's telling everyone what's next, and that's that he wants championships.
<v Speaker 3>He says he has his eye on who he considers
<v Speaker 3>to be the most badass right now, and that's Jacob Battu.
<v Speaker 3>He says he respects him, he knows what he's been
<v Speaker 3>through and he is proud and he is happy for him,
<v Speaker 3>but he said he doesn't respect the crew that follows
<v Speaker 3>him around. And he says at some point they're going
<v Speaker 3>to get in the ring and he will be champion again.
<v Speaker 3>And that's malfor In as well. Priest versus Fatuu, that
<v Speaker 3>would be a war. We then get Fatoo's music hitting
<v Speaker 3>as Damien is making his way up the ramp. They
<v Speaker 3>have a stare down and there seems to be some
<v Speaker 3>kind of respect between them. No hands thrown just to
<v Speaker 3>stare down, but yes, please, we now have trible threat
<v Speaker 3>match for the money in the bank spot for the
<v Speaker 3>men's side, which is Fatu, Mellow and Andrade. We kick
<v Speaker 3>off and we get missed straight away with the Shenanigans
<v Speaker 3>trying to distract Fattuo, but it doesn't work as and
<v Speaker 3>and Fatou take out Mellow and now they are in
<v Speaker 3>together and and doing very well with his speed. Mellow
<v Speaker 3>back in trying to boss Fattou, but he might as
<v Speaker 3>well be attacking Hi with a feather duster for all
<v Speaker 3>the impact it's making the crowd, as is the norm
<v Speaker 3>now all Chimu fa two and again Miss trying to
<v Speaker 3>distract him and help Mello. Fatuu face to face with
<v Speaker 3>Miss outside the ring, gets his lights well and truly
<v Speaker 3>put out, and he's left laying on the outside of
<v Speaker 3>the ring through the barriers, and we get told that
<v Speaker 3>he's had to go off for some medical treatment, So
<v Speaker 3>Miss out of the picture for now. We've got and
<v Speaker 3>making a really good account of himself in this one.
<v Speaker 3>Melo hits Lamistica on Andrade and gets himself close to count.
<v Speaker 3>Andrade hits the Spanish Fly, but before he can take advantage.
<v Speaker 3>Fattu hits a sent on on both guys, and up
<v Speaker 3>Top hits his double moon salt on Fatu, needing Melo
<v Speaker 3>to break up the count. We get all three guys
<v Speaker 3>on the outside and Fatuu takes himself out by charging
<v Speaker 3>through the barrier as the other two guys managed to
<v Speaker 3>dodge out of the way the last minute, but somehow
<v Speaker 3>Fatu has risen from the dead and tipped both guys
<v Speaker 3>off the top. Broape hits a swanton on Melo Andrada,
<v Speaker 3>breaking the cover, so Andradi and Melo both then go
<v Speaker 3>for a double pin on Fattouo but fail, and then
<v Speaker 3>that brings down Solo and JC to ringside. Fatu hits
<v Speaker 3>a smile and drop on and he goes for the
<v Speaker 3>moon salt, but and moves. We get some back and
<v Speaker 3>forth covers between and and Melo, and then we'd get
<v Speaker 3>Solo up on the apron, but the only person he
<v Speaker 3>seems to be distracting is Jacob Fattou. You then get
<v Speaker 3>Jimmy turn Up takes out Solo and JC and off
<v Speaker 3>of all of that distraction Andder hits the message on
<v Speaker 3>Melo and wins the match. Excellent. So now we surely
<v Speaker 3>have the real start of the breakdown of Fatuu and Solo.
<v Speaker 3>He basically cost him his place in Money in the
<v Speaker 3>bank and andrade in that money in the bank. That
<v Speaker 3>should be absolutely amazing. A lot of ringside shenanigans again tonight,
<v Speaker 3>And I guess that's the nature of the beast. We've
<v Speaker 3>got all these no DQ triple threat matches, which just
<v Speaker 3>invites the year, invites the shenanigans from the outsiders. So
<v Speaker 3>I guess we give him a pass, but let's hope
<v Speaker 3>that tails off a little after Money in the Bank.
<v Speaker 3>Hey backstage now with Byron and he's got La Night
<v Speaker 3>with him, and he says he's punched his ticket to
<v Speaker 3>money in the bank. And he goes on and has
<v Speaker 3>a weird runt about rant about the phrase punching his ticket,
<v Speaker 3>which was kind of weird. He says, if this was
<v Speaker 3>a one on one match, he would call his shot
<v Speaker 3>and telling everyone he would win. But this is anyone's game,
<v Speaker 3>he says, with or without the briefcase, all the gold
<v Speaker 3>is in his future. Alistair Black comes along and tells
<v Speaker 3>him he's welcome. That was short and sweet. I guess
<v Speaker 3>we're just reminding ourselves that La Knight is well in
<v Speaker 3>the picture. Next up, we've got the Seena Cody face
<v Speaker 3>to and this could be epic. Before that, we get
<v Speaker 3>Fatoo backstage having an absolute hissy fit turning over tables.
<v Speaker 3>He tells Solo he doesn't need his help and walks off.
<v Speaker 3>So fingers crossed, this is the beginning of the end.
<v Speaker 3>Cody is out at ringside and the crowd off the
<v Speaker 3>chart excited to see him back. It's true absence makes
<v Speaker 3>the heart grow fonder. I guess he asked Knockfield what
<v Speaker 3>they want to talk about. I guess we're never getting
<v Speaker 3>rid of that now, I'm sure to Matt's despair, as
<v Speaker 3>he now's got a podcast what's called that as well? Anyway,
<v Speaker 3>he says they could talk about the record crowd at
<v Speaker 3>Knoxville this evening. That would be quite boring, so I'm
<v Speaker 3>glad he didn't. Or they could talk about Mania forty one.
<v Speaker 3>He says. After Mania, he went home and drowned his sorrows.
<v Speaker 3>He says he had a doubtful moment and he reached
<v Speaker 3>out to a friend and he asked him, was like
<v Speaker 3>a good champion And his answer wasn't a guess or no?
<v Speaker 3>Sad with everything in the ring and behind the scenes.
<v Speaker 3>Then yes, he was a good champion. He says he
<v Speaker 3>then thought back about aj Styles, who feigned retirement to
<v Speaker 3>get the jump on him. He thought about his boss,
<v Speaker 3>and then he thought about the final boss, and that
<v Speaker 3>got an absolutely monumental boot. People really hating on the Rock.
<v Speaker 3>He says, as preposterous as it sounded that Rock wanted
<v Speaker 3>his soul, the Rock was one hundred percent serious, and
<v Speaker 3>he said, interestingly that offer is still open.
<v Speaker 2>Now.
<v Speaker 3>Maybe that was just a far away line, but still,
<v Speaker 3>he says he also thought about John Cena and how
<v Speaker 3>he did exactly what he said he was going to
<v Speaker 3>do and made him make a choice. He then says
<v Speaker 3>to see a direct that he will never hesitate with
<v Speaker 3>him ever again. And no matter how much he talks
<v Speaker 3>about his leaving day and counting down his appearance, that
<v Speaker 3>isn't his expiration date because Cody is going to burn
<v Speaker 3>his ass up. He says he wanted to make his
<v Speaker 3>return to SmackDown really special, so he'd been thinking about
<v Speaker 3>what he could do, and he says he wants to
<v Speaker 3>give them a surprise. And he says that Knoxville all
<v Speaker 3>look hungry, so why don't they yeat and he brings
<v Speaker 3>out Jayuso wrong brand, but I guess we don't care
<v Speaker 3>about that anymore, and the crowd go absolutely nuts, obviously
<v Speaker 3>because we get to do the eating, which takes a
<v Speaker 3>good five minutes of the last eight minutes of the show.
<v Speaker 3>He comes down to the ring and now John Sena's
<v Speaker 3>music kits and he does his now new, famously dour
<v Speaker 3>walk to the ring, where he has his towel on
<v Speaker 3>backwards and the title on backwards. He says he is
<v Speaker 3>upset as he's in the ring with pro Wrestling's two
<v Speaker 3>biggest wannabes. He calls them both John Cena and they
<v Speaker 3>both want to be him so bad it makes him sick.
<v Speaker 3>He calls them desperate, and he calls them lazy. He
<v Speaker 3>says there's one other person in WWE who embodies hustle
<v Speaker 3>and respect like him, and he says, surprise, losers, Logan Paul,
<v Speaker 3>my partner with money in the bank, is also here.
<v Speaker 3>He gets booed even worse than Sena, and he Logan
<v Speaker 3>Paul grabs a mic and says the crowd of mad
<v Speaker 3>because Logan Paul does WWE better than any old wrestler.
<v Speaker 3>Sina says that he doesn't have to pay his dues.
<v Speaker 3>He says everyone came here to see John Cena and Logan.
<v Speaker 3>Paul Logan asks Noxviille what they're crying about. He said
<v Speaker 3>he could walk on water and they would still say
<v Speaker 3>it's because he can't swim. He calls all of Tennessee
<v Speaker 3>people stupid and tells them that they are witnessing history.
<v Speaker 3>Sena side by side with Logan. Paul Logan says there
<v Speaker 3>is a problem, and that is that he should be
<v Speaker 3>staying in next to Sena as a champion, but Jay
<v Speaker 3>got lucky. He calls Cody and Jane nepo babies, and
<v Speaker 3>he tells them they've had had everything handed to them.
<v Speaker 3>Isn't the business? And are they nepo babies? Yes, that's undeniable.
<v Speaker 3>Have they had everything handed to them in the business? No,
<v Speaker 3>I don't think so. I mean Cody had to leave,
<v Speaker 3>go to a different company, set up a different company,
<v Speaker 3>come back before he could get serious proper chance and
<v Speaker 3>character and Jay and Jimmy have been at it for
<v Speaker 3>years and obviously they've had tag title success, So I
<v Speaker 3>don't think they've had it handed to them anyway. He
<v Speaker 3>says that he's the inevitable new face of the company
<v Speaker 3>once SEENI goes I really hope not that would be sad.
<v Speaker 3>It then kicks off, but interestingly, before we get the
<v Speaker 3>inevitable brawl in the ring pre Money in the Bank,
<v Speaker 3>it's seems start to break down between Senior and Logan Paul,
<v Speaker 3>so I'm not sure that that alliance is gonna last
<v Speaker 3>especially long time. But then yet it kicks off between
<v Speaker 3>all four guys in the ring, with Cody and Jay
<v Speaker 3>getting the upper hand this time, and we go off
<v Speaker 3>air with Cody and Jay standing tall in the ring,
<v Speaker 3>both with a title in the hand. Obviously Jays Cody's
<v Speaker 3>his Seeners. But that's a good picture and I hope
<v Speaker 3>that's one that we're going to get to see in
<v Speaker 3>real life soon. Those two as champs does look good.
<v Speaker 3>So all in all, I thought a good show tonight.
<v Speaker 3>Lots of build up to Money in the Bank and
<v Speaker 3>some good development with the tag team. More work on
<v Speaker 3>the return of the Why at six, which is good.
<v Speaker 3>So we're all all guns blazing to Money in the Bank. Now,
<v Speaker 3>We've got our two go home shows next week, and
<v Speaker 3>I think we've still got a couple of places to
<v Speaker 3>be decided. I think traditionally, don't they do like a
<v Speaker 3>last chance qualify a match for people who have lost.
<v Speaker 3>So maybe we will get some surprise entry or two
<v Speaker 3>into money in the bank next week. But I might
<v Speaker 3>be wrong. That's just me saying that I forgot to start,
<v Speaker 3>but forgot to mention at the start of today show
<v Speaker 3>the announcement of Evolution two in July, the second women's
<v Speaker 3>only PLA could be awesome, I really really hope. So
<v Speaker 3>there is some phenomenal female talent at the moment, and
<v Speaker 3>hopefully it will be better than Evolution one. And Evolution
<v Speaker 3>one was awesome as well, but we are more richer
<v Speaker 3>for women's talent now, so hopefully it'll be less reliance
<v Speaker 3>on the legends. Not that I mind the legends getting involved, obviously,
<v Speaker 3>they helped to get where we are today. Anyway, forgot
<v Speaker 3>to mention that. And also apparently the same weekend we've
<v Speaker 3>got Goldberg's retirement match, which you know good anyway, So
<v Speaker 3>thank you guys, that just to outdoes it for this
<v Speaker 3>week's show. Thank you for having me in your ears,
<v Speaker 3>and remember, until next time, be kind.
