<v Speaker 1>This is WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre, and you're listening to <v Speaker 1>the WWE podcast. <v Speaker 2>Stop the show, the one that everybody wants me God <v Speaker 2>tell ste sixteen. <v Speaker 1>So I just glip your ass is my eyn you <v Speaker 1>can acknowledge me. <v Speaker 2>Well, it's time for the Monday Night Raw review. Hope <v Speaker 2>you're all doing well here on this Tuesday in August nineteenth, <v Speaker 2>twenty twenty five. With Clash in Paris just around the <v Speaker 2>corner next weekend already, not this coming weekend, but the <v Speaker 2>following weekend. It will be Clash in Paris, but there <v Speaker 2>will not be Naomi walking in as Women's World Champion. <v Speaker 2>And that is because, as we now know, it has <v Speaker 2>been revealed that Naomi is pregnant. Now I had posted <v Speaker 2>a video if you had watched me, I actually put <v Speaker 2>it up on YouTube. Follow me on YouTube. By the way, <v Speaker 2>I'm posting some videos there more often than I used to. <v Speaker 2>Some kind of like five minutes or the last ten minutes, <v Speaker 2>just some news worthy items and things that I just <v Speaker 2>want to get off my chest. If you want to <v Speaker 2>follow me there, check out YouTube. Again. The WWE podcast <v Speaker 2>is obviously where you'd look. But Naomi went on Stephanie <v Speaker 2>McMahon's podcast, because who doesn't have a podcast these days, <v Speaker 2>And she announced with Jimmy Youso that they're pregnant and <v Speaker 2>they're expecting. So first of all, first and foremost congratulations <v Speaker 2>to that couple, happiness, wishing a healthy baby, all that <v Speaker 2>kind of thing, And I do genuinely mean that because <v Speaker 2>they're deserving of it. And I have to say, there's nothing, <v Speaker 2>nothing quite like being a parent. It may not be <v Speaker 2>like being Women's World Champion, but in a lot of ways, <v Speaker 2>I could say that being a parent is much more <v Speaker 2>rewarding than any kind of material possession you may have. <v Speaker 2>Sounds cliche and kind of, you know, soft and gooey, <v Speaker 2>but I mean, if you're a parent, you kind of <v Speaker 2>know that. But Naomi, for a professional wrestling perspective, from <v Speaker 2>a wrestling fans perspective, we are getting our knees cut <v Speaker 2>off at the pass here because selfishly, one hundred percent selfishly, <v Speaker 2>as fans, we don't get to see a full Naomi <v Speaker 2>run with this iteration of her as Women's World Champion, <v Speaker 2>which does suck. Again, from a totally selfish perspective, this <v Speaker 2>is a it's a blow to the women's division. I mean, also, <v Speaker 2>you have Bianca Bellair who's injured. You know that, there's <v Speaker 2>also that now we have Naomi go down, So this <v Speaker 2>is it is It is a blow to the women's <v Speaker 2>division again specifically because we had Bianca Bellair, or rather <v Speaker 2>we have Naomi who was on fire finally found herself <v Speaker 2>and she gets pregnant, which again sounds like, oh man, <v Speaker 2>she got pregnant. Yeah, I mean, but for us as <v Speaker 2>fans selfishly, we're looking at this very selfishly, it does <v Speaker 2>suck because now she gets taken off TV and she's <v Speaker 2>gonna be I don't know when she's due, it's probably <v Speaker 2>in seven She doesn't look that pregnant, so I'm guessing <v Speaker 2>it's seven months or six months that she's due, and <v Speaker 2>that would mean even after that, she's going to take <v Speaker 2>some time to be a mom. And even if she <v Speaker 2>decides to come back, you know, you're probably probably looking <v Speaker 2>at a year after that. So guys, it could be <v Speaker 2>eighteen months minimum before we see Naomi in a ring again. <v Speaker 2>Of course, you could have it earlier return if she <v Speaker 2>comes back at all. But Naomi's gonna go and be <v Speaker 2>a mom, and I'm happy for her, happy for Jimmy <v Speaker 2>and you know, really genuinely am because there's nothing quite <v Speaker 2>like it in this world. So yeah, but again, those <v Speaker 2>of you that don't have kids, who don't give a <v Speaker 2>damn or just are you know, we're all looking at <v Speaker 2>this through the what about me perspective, It does stuck, suck, <v Speaker 2>And I get that because I was on Naomi's side <v Speaker 2>as well. I've been praising her for months about this <v Speaker 2>gimmick that she's had and now she's tearful on raw, <v Speaker 2>showing the clip of her on Stephanie McMahon's podcast, The <v Speaker 2>crowd gave her a standing ovation and she goes and <v Speaker 2>is walking off into the wilderness as we will crown <v Speaker 2>a new Women's World champion, which is an interesting feed <v Speaker 2>in and of itself, an interesting discussion as to who <v Speaker 2>should be the next Women's World Champion. We can talk <v Speaker 2>about that too tonight and maybe as the Monday nights <v Speaker 2>roll by and we crown a new champion in the <v Speaker 2>coming weeks. Now, that's one big story. And I was <v Speaker 2>totally wrong again on YouTube. I was saying that it <v Speaker 2>can't be pregnancy. I know many people are saying it, <v Speaker 2>but it can't be because you can't, you know, w <v Speaker 2>W would have announced it, and I assumed that it <v Speaker 2>was a just a concussion something that they were being <v Speaker 2>precautious about. But it is pregnancy, and it makes sense <v Speaker 2>that she was able to come out and just kind <v Speaker 2>of say goodbye to fans and you know, announce her <v Speaker 2>pregnancy and WWE now gets to move on. So while <v Speaker 2>pregnancy was an option, I will admit I did not <v Speaker 2>think it was pregnancy based on what I had heard, <v Speaker 2>but now we know it is, and hey, it's a <v Speaker 2>great outcome, best of all outcomes really, because if it <v Speaker 2>was a long term injury from Naomi, that'd be even worse, <v Speaker 2>I think. Alrighty, so that's the Naomi news as we <v Speaker 2>all know, and welcome to the show. <v Speaker 1>Here. <v Speaker 2>We are going to go through by a net raw, <v Speaker 2>go through match by match, maybe even cover some other <v Speaker 2>things on the side. But I want to welcome you <v Speaker 2>to the show and offer you an opportunity to go <v Speaker 2>totally ad free. For all the ads you hear throughout <v Speaker 2>the show, you can get them com just deleted. You <v Speaker 2>can get them out of your life by going to <v Speaker 2>WWE podcast over on Patreon on that's patreon dot com <v Speaker 2>slash WWE podcast. If you just listen to the ads <v Speaker 2>and you just shake in your head. Well, there's a <v Speaker 2>good option for that, and also an option available to <v Speaker 2>you on Apple Podcast as well. Click the subscribe button. <v Speaker 2>Do you get an AD free trial? You can check <v Speaker 2>it out for free if you are just a AD <v Speaker 2>free listener. I know I do that to my favorite <v Speaker 2>podcast as well, and it's it's such a better listening experience, <v Speaker 2>and you're like, yeah, you see the small charge come out. <v Speaker 2>I do it for all the wrestling shows as well, <v Speaker 2>not just my own, not just my own which I <v Speaker 2>subscribe my own show, but I know I actually don't <v Speaker 2>subscribe AD free. That would be silly to pay myself. <v Speaker 2>But I know that AD free listening there's a big <v Speaker 2>value in that because you can just listen to your show. <v Speaker 2>You don't have to hit that skip ahead button to <v Speaker 2>go through the ads, and it's a streamlined listening experience <v Speaker 2>which I would encourage you to take advantage of. Now <v Speaker 2>let's go through mondaet Rayah, And I do want to <v Speaker 2>talk about the Bailey thing too, you know what, I'm <v Speaker 2>just gonna talk about it now. I'm gonna instead of <v Speaker 2>going in order right now, now, I do want to <v Speaker 2>talk about this Bailey bizarreness that has unfortunately unfolded here <v Speaker 2>because last week I was encouraged by what I saw <v Speaker 2>last week. It looked like things are moving in a <v Speaker 2>good direction. That Bailey was going a little bit darker, <v Speaker 2>but we weren't sure exactly where, and it was it <v Speaker 2>was heading in a direction that we haven't seen from <v Speaker 2>Bailey thus far. I was worried it was maybe going <v Speaker 2>to duplicate Nikki Cross or somebody else we've already seen, <v Speaker 2>and it didn't know. We got an answer this week, <v Speaker 2>and I don't know if they've unfortunately headed that way, <v Speaker 2>but it's a bizarre direction. This Bailey thing has taken <v Speaker 2>a weird turn where she's responding to camera effects, you <v Speaker 2>know what I mean. I understand that they're they've produced <v Speaker 2>in a way that it's supposed to look like we're <v Speaker 2>inside her head, but it was an The interview style <v Speaker 2>they were doing was just fine. It was like a <v Speaker 2>documentary style that you know, you got to hear from <v Speaker 2>Bailey in that seemed more real than just your typical <v Speaker 2>sit down interview that they do on raws or smackdowns. <v Speaker 2>It was a documentary type style of sit down which <v Speaker 2>added a nice different production feel to it and talking <v Speaker 2>about how she's never felt less and wanted more, probably <v Speaker 2>the biggest line from that promo last week, and you're like, okay, cool, well, <v Speaker 2>I'm on board. What does this mean? And it felt <v Speaker 2>grounded in something. She's disappointed, she's kind of lost, And <v Speaker 2>this week we got to see wwe unfortunately overproduced this <v Speaker 2>whole thing, and we saw it completely take a different turn, <v Speaker 2>where again we are supposed to be seeing inside of <v Speaker 2>Bailey's head, hearing the voices she's hearing. Suddenly, I guess <v Speaker 2>it's supposed to be all of her insecurities and the <v Speaker 2>devil on her shoulder talking to her about you're not <v Speaker 2>good enough and mocking her previous gimmicks about ding dong hello, <v Speaker 2>the role model gimmick, her being a tag team champion, <v Speaker 2>like all of these previous iterations of Bailey and the <v Speaker 2>failure she's had in the summer slam all of them, <v Speaker 2>and Bailey's trying to shut the voices out. How is <v Speaker 2>this exactly okay? Even if you believe this was a <v Speaker 2>successful version of Bailey that we're starting to see, Even <v Speaker 2>if you believe this was a success, it was a <v Speaker 2>It was an effective segment for Bailey and her character. <v Speaker 2>How exactly is this going to translate in the ring? <v Speaker 2>How exactly are you going to have her fighting with <v Speaker 2>the voices and trying to not you know, trying to <v Speaker 2>suppress her insecurities, and what does that look like? You <v Speaker 2>can't have You don't have the benefit of those those <v Speaker 2>effects in real life. You can't warp space and time. <v Speaker 2>You know, it's like having an Instagram filter in real <v Speaker 2>life that doesn't exist. You can't do it. You know, <v Speaker 2>it's got to be before you post it, before you <v Speaker 2>release the footage or the picture to the public. You <v Speaker 2>make changes, but you can't do that in real life. <v Speaker 2>How does this translate? How does this translate? I'm a <v Speaker 2>bit concerned. Yeah, I was overproduced. I've heard that word used, <v Speaker 2>and I think it's an accurate one. It was one <v Speaker 2>that just when it went too it went too much <v Speaker 2>the other way where instead of being grounded in reality, <v Speaker 2>we're now getting kind of a hocus pocus deal and <v Speaker 2>hopefully that can maybe correct course, because as as effective <v Speaker 2>and intriguing as last week was, this one went just like, Okay, <v Speaker 2>they're going to cartoon land, got it? It feel like <v Speaker 2>sometimes Vince McMahon is back I swear to God. I mean, <v Speaker 2>he's not, but it's like the spirit of the ghost <v Speaker 2>of Vince McMahon. He's not dead, but it feels like <v Speaker 2>he somehow is still manipulating, manipulating, you know, certain segments <v Speaker 2>of the creative on a regular, you know, regular basis. <v Speaker 2>On RAW, I don't know. So I did not like this, <v Speaker 2>despite the fact that I like to sit down interview format. <v Speaker 2>I'm not a fan of wherever that part of Bailey's headed. <v Speaker 2>If you're gonna have her just you know, react to <v Speaker 2>voices and things that she's suddenly hearing. But there I <v Speaker 2>want it's comment on that. But let's get started here. <v Speaker 2>As a Monday night, RAW came to us from where <v Speaker 2>were we here, Oh, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, of course, at the <v Speaker 2>Infinity Mobile Arena, and we had the Vision, Seth Rollins, <v Speaker 2>bron Breaker, Bronson, Ree Paul Hayman come out and Rollins <v Speaker 2>was dressed Uh just I mean, I I don't understand <v Speaker 2>what Seth Rollins is doing. A big fan of the Vision, <v Speaker 2>big fan of Seth Rollins. I like what Breaker and <v Speaker 2>Bronson have become in front of our eyes, specifically Braun <v Speaker 2>a Breaker. I could do without the outlandish outfits by Seth. <v Speaker 2>I was hoping we were past this now. I was <v Speaker 2>really hoping that after he morphed into the visionary or <v Speaker 2>rather the vision I should say that we would get <v Speaker 2>the outfits of Clownville, that they would be no more. <v Speaker 2>And that's not the case. I don't I don't know. <v Speaker 2>There's another complaint for all of you that say he <v Speaker 2>most hate wrestling. Yeah, well I can critique it when <v Speaker 2>I see this see fit and Seth Orllins' outfits. He <v Speaker 2>needs to find some kind of consistency. To me, it <v Speaker 2>doesn't add anything to his character. It's just distracting in <v Speaker 2>a way. That's it doesn't add to his character, it <v Speaker 2>doesn't add to the presentation. It's just kind of like <v Speaker 2>what stupid outfit he's going to wear this week? And <v Speaker 2>I felt that way he was a good guy or <v Speaker 2>bad guy, and now he's back to being a bad guy. <v Speaker 2>And I think it's it doesn't do anything for me. <v Speaker 2>I don't care how ridiculous it is where he thinks <v Speaker 2>these things up, where he finds the material, how outland <v Speaker 2>does he think he can go or be? It doesn't <v Speaker 2>You don't want your outfit being a distraction in an <v Speaker 2>otherwise in an otherwise entertainment presentation that should be about <v Speaker 2>your in ring ability and your promos and your personality <v Speaker 2>and your outfits should not be a distraction. And I <v Speaker 2>think it's it's become a net negative for the seth <v Speaker 2>Rollins character in an otherwise nearly flawless character for at <v Speaker 2>least for this version of it. So there, But I <v Speaker 2>also had some people before I get into this segment <v Speaker 2>even more with Hayman with over the top introductions for <v Speaker 2>all the men and an OTC chant breaking out and <v Speaker 2>the rest of it. There's been some people who have <v Speaker 2>commented that I have been critical of the product but <v Speaker 2>also being critical of the people who say that the <v Speaker 2>product has been boring and there's no direction, and I've <v Speaker 2>been contradicting myself. Well, for those that need enlightenment, Okay, <v Speaker 2>here's the revolutionary AHA moment for you. It is possible <v Speaker 2>to be critical about specific elements of a television show <v Speaker 2>while also still having no issue with the general direction <v Speaker 2>of that show. Those two things are not mutually exclusive. <v Speaker 2>They can both exist in the same reality where you're <v Speaker 2>critical of a particular show and I'm critical of every show. <v Speaker 2>You guys, hear me? I point out things that you <v Speaker 2>just want me to shut up about. But it's just <v Speaker 2>my brain, it's how it works. But I can also <v Speaker 2>at the same time recognize that the product generally is <v Speaker 2>headed in a good direction. Again, microvision versus a macro vision, <v Speaker 2>that's the difference. That's how they can both coexist. There, <v Speaker 2>I hope, I hope I clarified that. Now, Paul Hayman <v Speaker 2>come as I said, and comes out and gives the <v Speaker 2>overtop over the top introductions for all three men, and <v Speaker 2>Haymond said the fans weren't chanting OTC. They were chanting <v Speaker 2>Paul E. And then a PAULI chant followed it, and <v Speaker 2>Hayman mentioned that Rollins has pinned Roman reigns twice at WrestleMania. <v Speaker 2>Seth held up the mike to speak, but Jay Uso <v Speaker 2>comes out and he stopped on the steps as he <v Speaker 2>does in the crowd, and spoke from there, and he <v Speaker 2>said he was tired of hearing the vision talk and <v Speaker 2>threaten his family. He also had a bunch of children <v Speaker 2>say the word yeat. I don't know you not a <v Speaker 2>fan of it, but I get why he did it. <v Speaker 2>Then Rollins tried to fire up Breaker by saying that <v Speaker 2>Jay thinks he can beat him and that his family <v Speaker 2>is more important than breakers family. Breaker got so fired <v Speaker 2>up that his allies had to stop him from leaving, <v Speaker 2>and Haymon questioned Jay, interrupting them. In Philadelphia. Haymond said <v Speaker 2>men settled their differences in a nearby bingo hall by <v Speaker 2>having matches with notice qualifications or countouts, and he talked <v Speaker 2>about Sam Man, Rob Van dam Knew Jack Saboo, Dudley Boys, <v Speaker 2>and also mentioned the late great Tommy Dreamer, and Hammond <v Speaker 2>said he knew that Dreamer wasn't dead yet, but he <v Speaker 2>said that Dreamer, that Dreamer should be UHH, got it. <v Speaker 2>Breaker acted surprised that Dreamer was still alive, and Jay <v Speaker 2>said that great minds think alike because the only rules <v Speaker 2>he needed were extreme rules. So, I you know, I <v Speaker 2>have to say, good promo by Himon and that just <v Speaker 2>almost comes at a default compliment every week. Fun moment <v Speaker 2>here talking, you know, telling a joke at Dreamers expense. <v Speaker 2>That was fun and bringing up extreme rules. I mean, <v Speaker 2>there is absolutely no distinction between a you know, a <v Speaker 2>no disqualification match and no holds barred match, a street fight, <v Speaker 2>a Philadelphia street fight, whatever you want to call it. <v Speaker 2>There's there is absolutely not differ between that and an <v Speaker 2>extreme rules match. None. But they're all just marketing. I mean, <v Speaker 2>it's just a different way to label a match when <v Speaker 2>in reality it's just the same thing as saying no disqualification. <v Speaker 2>It's just it's got a more fun label to it. <v Speaker 2>So it was it was cool here. I mean, I <v Speaker 2>haven't heard the extreme rules stipulation be used in a while, <v Speaker 2>and having him bring up and resurrect and extreme rules <v Speaker 2>type of match given the backstory with him in ECW, <v Speaker 2>so it was fun. So EO Sky was showing a <v Speaker 2>gorilla and Oscar and Kyrie showed up. Oscar apologized for <v Speaker 2>Sky last week, saying said to let them know if <v Speaker 2>she needed help. Sky said she knows they would always <v Speaker 2>have her back, but she needed to do it on <v Speaker 2>her own, just as Oscar has done in the past. <v Speaker 2>So Sky high five to Oscar and Kyrie, and then <v Speaker 2>she comes out and faces Raquel Rodriguez. The match went <v Speaker 2>eleven minutes with EO Sky beating Raquel. The finish was <v Speaker 2>EO going up for a suicide dive on Raquel, who <v Speaker 2>caught her and rolled through. Rodriguez sent Sky into the <v Speaker 2>ring post and then back in the ring, Rodriguez set <v Speaker 2>her up for a finish, but Eo avoided it and <v Speaker 2>hit her with the bullet train attack. Sky went up <v Speaker 2>top and hit the over the Moon salt for the victory. However, <v Speaker 2>after the match, Perez attacked Sky and then Rodriguez held <v Speaker 2>Sky while Perez superkicked her. And then Ria Ripley comes <v Speaker 2>out to a big ovation and cleared the heels from <v Speaker 2>the ring and Ripley using crazy big boots. I mean, <v Speaker 2>she had some excellent big boots in that match, or <v Speaker 2>rather the post match. I mean she I didn't know <v Speaker 2>her legs looked like they were a mile long last night. <v Speaker 2>And I don't mean that from a you know, a <v Speaker 2>sexual perspective or anything, just they looked really long. And <v Speaker 2>that's a compliment because she delivered some excellent looking boots, <v Speaker 2>particularly the last one that she delivered to Raquel, who <v Speaker 2>also sold it nicely and got knocked out of the ring. <v Speaker 2>And it's a nice Yeah, it's a nice segment here <v Speaker 2>because Rhea's still getting the desired reaction. The women's division <v Speaker 2>is a little bit thin with some injuries, key injuries <v Speaker 2>now and one pregnancy in the women's division. So Ria <v Speaker 2>Ripley continues to carry the women's division on her back. <v Speaker 2>She's not the only person, but she is the primary <v Speaker 2>holder of the women's division. And this tension now with <v Speaker 2>EO and Kyrie, it continues to the show, and we'll <v Speaker 2>talk about that in a little bit too. But Raquel <v Speaker 2>is getting some nice shine here as well, given the <v Speaker 2>fact that prior to this, Raquel Rodriguez was getting nothing, <v Speaker 2>I mean, she was having nothing happening, so much less <v Speaker 2>than eleven minute match where she has a hard fought <v Speaker 2>loss against EO Sky. But Ria Ripley coming to the <v Speaker 2>aid of EO Sky and doing the right thing is <v Speaker 2>a plus for Rhea, who continues to again have a fun, <v Speaker 2>nice little run here and continue to make EO look <v Speaker 2>like you know, she's vulnerable, can hold her own, but <v Speaker 2>certainly needs some help when her companions both Oscar and <v Speaker 2>Kyrie are either knocked down or aren't available. So yeah, <v Speaker 2>So we then have Jackie Redman interviewing l. A. Knight, <v Speaker 2>who started to speak about being tired of the vision <v Speaker 2>interfering and see him. Punk comes in and asked for <v Speaker 2>a second and Knight had Redmond stay. Punk said they <v Speaker 2>needed to be on the same page, and Knight said <v Speaker 2>he has two title matches or has had two title matches, <v Speaker 2>and Punk stuck his nose in both of them, and <v Speaker 2>he said their issues aren't personal, they're about business. Punk <v Speaker 2>talked about working together to avoid the Vision's numbers game, <v Speaker 2>and La Knight spoke about how he would end Clash <v Speaker 2>in Paris with the title belt in his hand. All right, <v Speaker 2>and then Corey hyped up jay Us versus bron Breaker <v Speaker 2>for the Extreme Rules match as the main event of <v Speaker 2>the show, as it should be. And then Xavier Woods <v Speaker 2>comes out with Kobe Kingston and Grayson Waller and Cole <v Speaker 2>set up a triple A Triple Many of video recap <v Speaker 2>not recrap, and then Graves at a graphic talked about <v Speaker 2>Triple Many was the most viewed in history with four <v Speaker 2>point three million viewers in the last twenty four hours, <v Speaker 2>which is true. I mean, when you have the biggest <v Speaker 2>wrestling company in the world take you know, and buy <v Speaker 2>your promotion, you would hope that it's the record number. <v Speaker 2>I mean, that's that should come without saying, you know, <v Speaker 2>but certainly a still a worthy accolade. And I did <v Speaker 2>see Omas and who is it Mini Man or something <v Speaker 2>or what I forget is that I don't watch it, <v Speaker 2>but I saw the Omas segment. I saw it. Miniature man, <v Speaker 2>I don't know, I'm close, I'm close, whatever the hell <v Speaker 2>his name is. So the segment with you know, a <v Speaker 2>one foot man versus a seven and a half foot <v Speaker 2>giant was a hell of a visual see. Yes, I <v Speaker 2>saw that. But that's about all I saw from triple Mania. <v Speaker 2>A little bit of Dominic I think bron Breaker was there. <v Speaker 2>I saw some quick things. I didn't really watch a <v Speaker 2>bunch of the highlights. But yeah, so all right, So backstage, <v Speaker 2>Sky thanked Rhea Ripley for helping her. Oscar and Kyrie <v Speaker 2>then show up. Osca did not look happy and took <v Speaker 2>issue with Sky letting Ripley help. After telling her and <v Speaker 2>saying that they couldn't help, Ripley and Osca bickered and <v Speaker 2>Sky stopped them and through just an embarrassing, just hissy <v Speaker 2>fit before leaving again acting like this is what I'm <v Speaker 2>talking about. I know that some people have said, well, <v Speaker 2>you know, men can have talking over each other in <v Speaker 2>yelling mattress, but men don't bicker like again some when <v Speaker 2>you hear women in wrestling, this is how they're presented often. Right, <v Speaker 2>they're once talking to the ones, you know, trying to <v Speaker 2>talk over, and it just becomes almost this high school <v Speaker 2>vibe either or middle school vibe of two girls in <v Speaker 2>a yelling match, right, And I don't like that presentation. <v Speaker 2>I have never liked it. And it continues here and <v Speaker 2>then you have you have Sky literally throw a tantrum <v Speaker 2>like a child. And I'm not blaming Eo Sky for this. <v Speaker 2>She was she was told to do this, clearly, and <v Speaker 2>it was just embarrassing. You guys are professionals making millions <v Speaker 2>of dollars a year and you are acting like children. <v Speaker 2>Now again, I know she was told to do this, <v Speaker 2>so I'm not getting on Eo. But that's the kind <v Speaker 2>of little stuff that brings down the women's division. A <v Speaker 2>more mature presentation I think is preferable, at least in <v Speaker 2>my taste, not this bickering, yelling over each other, cat <v Speaker 2>fight type of hissy fit garbage. The women if they're <v Speaker 2>you know, if they're strong, independent women, which we're all <v Speaker 2>supposed to believe that they are, and that's what the vision, <v Speaker 2>no pun intended, of the women's division should be, then <v Speaker 2>this doesn't exactly support that goal. Again, I know, super <v Speaker 2>small stuff, some stuff you know don't even care about <v Speaker 2>or notice. But it's the small stuff that's the easiest <v Speaker 2>to fix. And this is this to me, is just <v Speaker 2>it's garbage, not the segment itself, just those two particular things. <v Speaker 2>Now here's some positives. I know that I mentioned Osca <v Speaker 2>turning heel her face doesn't really matter because Osca has <v Speaker 2>been both, probably equally throughout her career. I mean, she's <v Speaker 2>turned so many times I can't keep track. But this <v Speaker 2>version of Osca, if she's going to be mad and <v Speaker 2>she looked pissed, that's a version of Oscar I'd like <v Speaker 2>to see, because even the heal version of Oscar would <v Speaker 2>be obnoxious and annoying and bombastic and cartoonish. And it <v Speaker 2>was kind of the same even at his babyface. But <v Speaker 2>if Auscin, it's going to be more of a just <v Speaker 2>kind of an angry character filled with rage. I want <v Speaker 2>to see what that looks like. She had some great <v Speaker 2>body language here to go with this segment, So all right. <v Speaker 2>Penta versus Xavier Woods was the next match, with Penta <v Speaker 2>beating Xavier in just under ten minutes, and the finish <v Speaker 2>was Penta jumping off the back of Woods and hit <v Speaker 2>Kingston and Woods and then let's see here, Penta came back, <v Speaker 2>hit the Destroyer and got the victory after Woods tried <v Speaker 2>to hook Penta with an inside cradle. So Penta wins <v Speaker 2>with the Destroyer. And that was good. I mean Penta, well, <v Speaker 2>it's good in the sense that if you want Penta <v Speaker 2>to rebuild a little momentum, it's good. But Xavier Woods, <v Speaker 2>who I continue to support, and I hope that he <v Speaker 2>gets a singles run and break out, break out of <v Speaker 2>this stagnant this stagnant kind of like I guess, somewhat <v Speaker 2>of a bad guy vibe that we're supposed to get <v Speaker 2>from Xavier. This kind of flat, that's the word I <v Speaker 2>was looking for. It's a flat version of his heel <v Speaker 2>character that him and Woods showed after they turned on <v Speaker 2>Big Eie. And that's you know, that's still kind of frustrating, <v Speaker 2>certainly frustrating, because Xavier is capable of more. I've said <v Speaker 2>that before, I'll continue to say it. And by the way, <v Speaker 2>we also did a carrying cross sign watch and there <v Speaker 2>was another fan who held a carrying cross sign of <v Speaker 2>we want Cross, which I'm great. I really enjoy that. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>so keep it up, I mean we want cross signs <v Speaker 2>should appear. It is the civic duty of every city <v Speaker 2>who has a hellbised event to hold a just one <v Speaker 2>person on the camera side, to have a we want <v Speaker 2>cross side. That's it, just one person, that's your homework. <v Speaker 2>So then we have footage air from Triple Mania of <v Speaker 2>Dom saying he would see Vin Kingo at World's Collide <v Speaker 2>and Raymisterio Mackdom as they cross paths and let's see here. <v Speaker 2>We then had World Tag Team champions Finn Baler and <v Speaker 2>j D McDonough with Dom take on Dragonly and mister <v Speaker 2>Iguana in a non titled match. This match went nine <v Speaker 2>minutes and fifty seconds, just under ten like the previous match, <v Speaker 2>with Finn Baaler and JD beating Dragonly and Mister Iguana <v Speaker 2>in nine minutes and fifty seconds. The finish always got <v Speaker 2>to go over the finish because, in case you didn't <v Speaker 2>see the show, Dragonly caught Balor with a super kick. <v Speaker 2>JD then distracted the referee while Dom grabbed Lee's foot <v Speaker 2>Ballor hit Lee from behind with a shotgun drop kick, <v Speaker 2>and then Balor followed up with a coupdi gras and <v Speaker 2>got the victory, but After the match, Dom cleared the <v Speaker 2>broadcast table and was trying to put Dragon Lee on <v Speaker 2>top of it. But Vin Kingo Vin Kingo, right, I <v Speaker 2>think that's just how you say it. I'm not gonna <v Speaker 2>say it's l he o heho, del ving Kingo. I <v Speaker 2>think embarrassing. I know she showed so he showed up <v Speaker 2>on the barricade and dropkick Dom off the broadcast table, <v Speaker 2>and then Vin Kingo avoided Balor and then took him <v Speaker 2>down with her karana, and Vin Kingo entered the ring, <v Speaker 2>hit McDonald with a dropkick, followed up with a double <v Speaker 2>knee on McDonough and then Dom hit Vin Kingo from <v Speaker 2>behind and Lee ear into the ring as he was <v Speaker 2>put down by Balor, and McDonough hell Vinkingo's legs while <v Speaker 2>Dom went up and hit a frog splash and they <v Speaker 2>all stood over king I, Vin king Go and celebrated <v Speaker 2>with their tattle belts. You noticed that the heat for Dom, though, <v Speaker 2>still is not nearly what it was, and I think <v Speaker 2>that it's because fans are starting to find Dom a <v Speaker 2>little endearing. It started to WrestleMania, WWE wasn't ready for <v Speaker 2>them to wasn't ready for us to start cheering Dom <v Speaker 2>and they kind of just decided, no, we're just gonna <v Speaker 2>keep him heal, and they have. But yeah, Dominic masterial <v Speaker 2>is he's not nearly anywhere near as hated as he was. <v Speaker 2>I mean, he's getting a little bit of heat because <v Speaker 2>he's attacking people from behind and these performers that you know, <v Speaker 2>ninety five percent of us couldn't pick out of a <v Speaker 2>lineup if they weren't in WWE as wrestling fans, and <v Speaker 2>you know, Dom, he's getting just your typical heel heat. <v Speaker 2>But it's not your go away my god, we hate <v Speaker 2>you so much heat that he had for almost two years. <v Speaker 2>All right, So let's see we had Jackie Redman asked <v Speaker 2>Becky Lynch why she attacked Natalia last week, and Becky <v Speaker 2>said that Natalia attacked her and said she was giving <v Speaker 2>Maxine to pre a pep talk after the match and <v Speaker 2>Natalia shoved her. So she defended herself and she would <v Speaker 2>prove tonight that Natalia doesn't belong in the ring with her. <v Speaker 2>What did she just completely copy and paste Drew McIntyre's <v Speaker 2>logic into this, because it's exactly what Drew said about <v Speaker 2>Cody Rhodes and how he said he didn't attack Cody, <v Speaker 2>he was just acting in self defense. It's exactly I <v Speaker 2>mean did. It's essentially a copy and paste logic here, <v Speaker 2>so that was kind of weird. But then again, the <v Speaker 2>Bailey video aired in some more detail. Here she looks <v Speaker 2>stressed and for some reason, again we could hear her <v Speaker 2>inner dialogue and her in her voice talked crap to <v Speaker 2>her and now she's nothing, and the voice promised to <v Speaker 2>steer her in the right direction if she listened, but <v Speaker 2>she plugged her ears and the voices stopped, and yeah, <v Speaker 2>so it's just ridiculous again that we can hear her thoughts. <v Speaker 2>It went from just reality based to cartoon in a week, <v Speaker 2>and it's a shame. Maybe they can correct course. It's <v Speaker 2>still early in whatever this version of Bailey's going to be, <v Speaker 2>but it was just certainly not not a not a <v Speaker 2>version that I'm on board with if they're going to <v Speaker 2>go with inner voices and all that, okay. Becky Lynch <v Speaker 2>then took on to Italia for the Women's Inner Continental Championship. <v Speaker 2>Both Maxine do Pre and a cur at Tsaur were <v Speaker 2>at ringside here, and Alicia Taylor was as always here <v Speaker 2>delivering the in ring introductions for the title match. The <v Speaker 2>match was kind of quick though, seven minutes and fifty seconds, <v Speaker 2>with Becky Lynch predictably beating Natalia In again seven minutes <v Speaker 2>and fifty seconds with the disarmour. After the match, Dupree <v Speaker 2>got to Lynch to break the hold because Lynch wasn't <v Speaker 2>breaking the disarmour, and that's when Lynch came back in <v Speaker 2>the ring and attacked Duprex and Nicki Bella comes out <v Speaker 2>and she worked over some punches, and Nicki hit Lynch <v Speaker 2>with the rack attack and stood over her. And then yeah, <v Speaker 2>that's kind of kind of it, and then Natalia, as <v Speaker 2>always takes a back seat. Nicki Bella got a decent pop, <v Speaker 2>a decent pop for what she did, and you know, <v Speaker 2>she certainly hit all of her spots that she needed <v Speaker 2>to hit. I still don't look at Nikki Bella as <v Speaker 2>a serious women's contender for anything. I mean, you guys <v Speaker 2>know how I feel about Nicki, But she, to her credit, <v Speaker 2>hit her spots this week. And how about that for <v Speaker 2>an ignorant male giving her a compliment for simply doing <v Speaker 2>her job, I know, unheard of. So yeah, I mean, <v Speaker 2>there's not much here to say other than you know <v Speaker 2>Natalia continues to lose every match. I'm gonna look at <v Speaker 2>Natalia's stats while I'm here. I'm so curious. Let's see <v Speaker 2>win loss record for Natalia. I'm so curious of what <v Speaker 2>this is? The Internet wrestling database. So here, here we go. <v Speaker 2>This is gonna be interesting. Okay, So Natalia and wins <v Speaker 2>and losses. I think this is only televised events. I <v Speaker 2>believe this is televised only. So she's had four hundred <v Speaker 2>and fifty five wins and this is career four hundred <v Speaker 2>and fifty five wins and five hundred and sixty eight losses. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>I mean that's yeah, that's bad. But I thought it <v Speaker 2>was gonna be way worse than that. Maybe I been wrong, <v Speaker 2>So yeah, I mean sometimes those stats are fun to <v Speaker 2>look at. And you know, you can look at wins <v Speaker 2>and losses broken down by double count out, you know, <v Speaker 2>a draw, double DQ, submission, pretty much any finish you <v Speaker 2>can think of, it's broken down and she's lost. If <v Speaker 2>you're curious about these kinds of stats. Natalia has lost <v Speaker 2>the majority of her matches by pinfall at seventy one percent. <v Speaker 2>She's lost the next closest to have submission by twenty <v Speaker 2>percent and then the rest are count out dq another <v Speaker 2>So yeah about that. But those are some stats. I <v Speaker 2>bet you didn't know. See what you learn? You learn <v Speaker 2>these completely useless facts here on the show. All right, <v Speaker 2>don't you feel smarter? Just say yes. So we then <v Speaker 2>have Jackie Redmond interviewing Seamus and then RUSTV shows up. <v Speaker 2>Seamus and Russov start to fight, but they're pulled apart. <v Speaker 2>Adam Pierce does what he always does, keeps his cool <v Speaker 2>and blows a gasket and they said they're not going <v Speaker 2>to do that tonight, but to meet one more time <v Speaker 2>in a good old fashioned Donniberg match at Clash in Paris, <v Speaker 2>which is fine, it's fine. I mean, these two, while <v Speaker 2>I thought their rivalry was over when Seamus won, these <v Speaker 2>two have a hell of a history and they work <v Speaker 2>great together and they're physical. This match is going to <v Speaker 2>be very physical, with lots of bruises on both men's <v Speaker 2>bodies coming out of that match at Clash in Paris. <v Speaker 2>So while there's not a huge vested interest in who <v Speaker 2>wins it, it's still going to be entertaining and that's <v Speaker 2>all we can really ask for from this match. So, <v Speaker 2>I mean, because what else is on the line. Somebody <v Speaker 2>explain to me what's on the line exactly besides just <v Speaker 2>entertainment value and pride? Right, So, alrighty, well, we then <v Speaker 2>have a broadcast team set up a clip of Stephanie <v Speaker 2>McMahon's podcast that would drop after raw and Stephanie said <v Speaker 2>it was a bonus edition with Jimmy Usso and Naomi <v Speaker 2>as I mentioned earlier, and opened the show with with <v Speaker 2>you know, the announcement of her pregnancy. So Jay Ustill <v Speaker 2>was warming up backstage when Sam Punk showed up and <v Speaker 2>said he wanted to help Jay make it to Paris. <v Speaker 2>Jay said he appreciated it, but doesn't want to owe <v Speaker 2>anyone any favors, and Jay and Punk shook hands before <v Speaker 2>Jay left, and Adam Pierce stood in the ring and <v Speaker 2>as we said, he introduced Naomi and you know, she <v Speaker 2>held up her belt, she got emotional, the fans chanted <v Speaker 2>her name, and she said this was hard and told <v Speaker 2>him to play the rest of the footage from Stephanie <v Speaker 2>McMahon podcast, and she said, yeah, y'all need to proceed <v Speaker 2>with caution because there's a baby on board and wow. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>in the ring, Pierce said, everyone in the building is <v Speaker 2>happy for her. And congratulated her, and she said she <v Speaker 2>bet that Pierce was happy for her, and said it's <v Speaker 2>not her first time relinquishing the title. She said she <v Speaker 2>gave it up the first time, but this time she <v Speaker 2>wasn't handing him anything. She said her homemones were jumping <v Speaker 2>and told him to get the hell out of her face. <v Speaker 2>And Naomi sang the goodbye song and did her laugh <v Speaker 2>and the fans joined in, and Naomi told Pierce that <v Speaker 2>she hoped he tripped in his church shoes. Yeah, that <v Speaker 2>was weird. Naomi said the women backstage should thank Big <v Speaker 2>Jim because they had no chance to take the title <v Speaker 2>off her. But thanks to Big Jim, he likes to <v Speaker 2>Netflix and chill if you know what I mean, and <v Speaker 2>you deserve it. Champ broke out and on the bright side, <v Speaker 2>I guess the bloodline continues, and she said for some reason, <v Speaker 2>this led to an oc che che. Yeah, so I <v Speaker 2>mean it's kind of yeah. I mean, it's no secret <v Speaker 2>that you know, Jimmy is very active. I'll leave it <v Speaker 2>at that with with Naomi, that's that was on I <v Speaker 2>think total divas at one point, and I mean she's <v Speaker 2>even publicly saying it here, kind of awkward, you know, basically, Okay, <v Speaker 2>we we like to. We like to, especially Big Jim <v Speaker 2>my husband, he likes to. Uh, you know, it's just <v Speaker 2>kind of weird, kind of weird. Let's see how old <v Speaker 2>is Naomi. I'm looking at her age here. Let's uh, <v Speaker 2>Naomi is thirty seven. Thirty seven? Wow, Okay, I didn't <v Speaker 2>think she was that old. Well, good for them, all right, <v Speaker 2>let's continue on here. Kind of weird, kind of kind <v Speaker 2>of weird here. But uh, she said that she you know, <v Speaker 2>she looked at the custom belt and said she would <v Speaker 2>lay it down a baby USO chance started and Naomi <v Speaker 2>said she would give the the hyphers a chance to <v Speaker 2>do what they wanted with the title and said that <v Speaker 2>she would be coming back to pick up where she <v Speaker 2>left off, and whoever has that title when I do, <v Speaker 2>I strongly advise you proceed with caution and left. Yeah. <v Speaker 2>So I'm again, I'm happy, right. I don't know what <v Speaker 2>else to say. I don't know what else to say <v Speaker 2>about it, So Pardi said enough. So we had Cole <v Speaker 2>talk about Stephanie Bacoorr And how she was supposed to <v Speaker 2>have a title match at Clash in Paris, and Cole <v Speaker 2>announced the start time for Monday's Raw on Netflix in Birmingham, England. <v Speaker 2>The broadcast team listed the following matches on next week's show, <v Speaker 2>which is Rio Rugby versus Rox San Perez and Penta <v Speaker 2>versus Kofi Kingston and Graves hyped up John Cena for <v Speaker 2>Friday in Dublin, Ireland. We then have Jays and Broun <v Speaker 2>Breaker in an extreme rules match, physical match, long match <v Speaker 2>twenty minutes long by today's standards, for sure. The finish <v Speaker 2>was Breaker setting up a table inside the ring. Jay <v Speaker 2>superkick Breaker, who ended up on the table. Jay went <v Speaker 2>up top and Reid shoved him off. The fans chanted <v Speaker 2>Roman Reins and then his entrance music played while Breaker <v Speaker 2>was at ringside, and then Breaker ran right into a <v Speaker 2>spear by Roman Reins, who then hit Reid with a <v Speaker 2>superman punching Rains rolled Breaker inside the ring. Jay supercreicked Breaker, <v Speaker 2>who landed on the table and then Jay hit the <v Speaker 2>USO splash. They put Breaker through the table and got <v Speaker 2>the three count. After Jay USO won, Rains helped Jay <v Speaker 2>out and his music played while Rains was chalking trash <v Speaker 2>at Bronson Reid and Reid said he would take Roman's <v Speaker 2>shoes again, but Hayman talked him out of going there <v Speaker 2>and read his own forehead with a chair while the <v Speaker 2>credits role the producer credits rolled. So that's good. I mean, <v Speaker 2>first of all, we could. You can't get a dequ <v Speaker 2>finished with an extreme rules match. The only way to <v Speaker 2>get a crappy finish is if there's some kind of <v Speaker 2>referee stoppage, which did not take place here, thank god. <v Speaker 2>And this was a very eventful raw again, not just <v Speaker 2>because of the announcement by Naomi and her once again <v Speaker 2>having to relinquish the women's world title, but also because <v Speaker 2>of Rowan reigns, an unexpected appearance by him, unraw. The <v Speaker 2>tension between l A. Knight and Ciampunk that is right <v Speaker 2>now just kind of a professional courtesy that they're aligning <v Speaker 2>with one another. It's a common enemy type of alliance, <v Speaker 2>which is certainly plausible here Becky Lynch defending her in <v Speaker 2>a Continental Championship overall solid raw, a solid raw that <v Speaker 2>certainly has a lot going forward, one that's continues to <v Speaker 2>push towards Clash in Paris, which is again just what <v Speaker 2>twelve days away, twelve days I think twelve days away <v Speaker 2>from Clash in Paris and it's gonna be a I think, <v Speaker 2>a really good pl despite the fact that Naomi is <v Speaker 2>no longer competing, and we don't know if Brockleser is <v Speaker 2>going to be there. Probably not. John cenl though, will <v Speaker 2>be and he'll be taking on Logan Paul. But yes, <v Speaker 2>Brocklosner could certainly interfere there and once again screw with <v Speaker 2>John Cena. But the brock Loosener ap parents, doesn't that <v Speaker 2>feel like him five weeks ago? Now? It's crazy how <v Speaker 2>quickly that kind of thing goes. And also, like I said, <v Speaker 2>with the Hull Cogan, the passing of Hull Cogan a <v Speaker 2>number of weeks ago, doesn't that feel like a year ago? Now? <v Speaker 2>No one's talking about a Hulk Cogan anymore, the biggest <v Speaker 2>name in professional wrestling, the biggest name to ever come <v Speaker 2>out of the genre of professional wrestling. No one's even <v Speaker 2>talking about it anymore. So I just wanted to bring <v Speaker 2>that full circle and show you how quickly things come <v Speaker 2>in and out of our minds, despite how big the <v Speaker 2>event may be, despite how catastrophic a death of whatever <v Speaker 2>superstar in entertainment or in sports comes about, we move <v Speaker 2>on so quick because there's so much information flowing into <v Speaker 2>our brains all the time from this glowing box that <v Speaker 2>we all carry around in our pockets. I mean, we <v Speaker 2>have bad attention spans as it is as human beings <v Speaker 2>generally speaking. But you put a device in our pockets <v Speaker 2>that's made for distracting. It's sole purpose is to distract you, <v Speaker 2>and it can go anywhere you can go and have <v Speaker 2>a connection nearly anywhere you can go. And you're expediting <v Speaker 2>the problem. You are exponentially increasing the issue of people <v Speaker 2>not having no attention spans and the news cycles just <v Speaker 2>being so fast, and again, no matter how catastrophic the event, <v Speaker 2>things seemingly never last more than a week, sometimes only <v Speaker 2>days before we move on to the next thing. So well, <v Speaker 2>there's again no news with the whole Hogan front. I <v Speaker 2>just wanted to bring it to everyone's attention. It's like, <v Speaker 2>oh yeah, wow, Hull Cogan died right, Crazy how things <v Speaker 2>go and how quickly life moves early. But that'll do <v Speaker 2>it for this podcast.
