<v Speaker 1>Our big foot. The sightings all happened in west central Florida.
<v Speaker 1>My name is Michael Aguilar and I have my son,
<v Speaker 1>Kaylin Aguilar. We're both members of the Mid Florida Bigfoot
<v Speaker 1>Research Group located in central Florida, and we've been doing
<v Speaker 1>this together actively for about six years. Kaylan's turning ten
<v Speaker 1>or his ten and turning eleven, and we've been doing
<v Speaker 1>this for about six years together, and I started bringing
<v Speaker 1>him out as something to do kind of to just
<v Speaker 1>to father something to do, and it kind of coincides
<v Speaker 1>with going fishing. We love to go fishing together a lot.
<v Speaker 1>So I'll start by telling you Calan's really first experienced
<v Speaker 1>that me and him had together, and it was in
<v Speaker 1>an area where I've been wanting to get in and
<v Speaker 1>do some research. And there's a creek that runs through
<v Speaker 1>that same creek is part of the area that I've
<v Speaker 1>had all a lot of other things happened at and
<v Speaker 1>this was a new area that I wanted to get
<v Speaker 1>into and do research. So I asked him if he
<v Speaker 1>wanted to go fishing. He said yes, and we went
<v Speaker 1>down to where this creek is and there's basically a
<v Speaker 1>power line run that runs through it, and there's two sides,
<v Speaker 1>a mode side and an unmode side. The unmode side
<v Speaker 1>is very hard to get through and navigate, but it
<v Speaker 1>has a very nice part of the creek that runs through.
<v Speaker 1>But that creek basically cuts you off. It hasn't like
<v Speaker 1>a turn. It goes down, turns up, and then turns again,
<v Speaker 1>and you can't see behind what's on the other side
<v Speaker 1>of that creek. And I was taking him fishing, and
<v Speaker 1>we're sitting there fishing and I'm doing a little research
<v Speaker 1>at the same time, and we had started. We heard
<v Speaker 1>a few noise, a few different things, and it wasn't
<v Speaker 1>no big deal. Then we found what was like a
<v Speaker 1>big bowel movement and we were looking at I was like, man,
<v Speaker 1>that doesn't look really normal. And Kaylen was is very,
<v Speaker 1>very curious and he likes to to always run around.
<v Speaker 1>And we went down to where if you look across
<v Speaker 1>the creek you can't see like I said, that's that's
<v Speaker 1>to the other side. And as we went to where
<v Speaker 1>the creek you can see down it. As soon as
<v Speaker 1>we made that clear where you can actually see down,
<v Speaker 1>I started hearing what like it sounded like bart owls,
<v Speaker 1>but they were sounded way bigger, and then it got
<v Speaker 1>like a lot of them. It was just they were
<v Speaker 1>going crazy. And then Kaylen, I'll let you pop in
<v Speaker 1>and you can tell kind of what happened and what
<v Speaker 1>you heard.
<v Speaker 4>Well, whenever we heard those noises, which we thought there
<v Speaker 4>bart owls just going off like crazy, whenever we were fishing,
<v Speaker 4>I kind of like, you know, real reeled my line
<v Speaker 4>in and I looked across the and it looked like,
<v Speaker 4>I don't know, really, it kind of like just like
<v Speaker 4>a big, like gorilla or bear, like half of his
<v Speaker 4>body was poking out of the tree. And then whenever
<v Speaker 4>I looked up, it looked like he quickly went back
<v Speaker 4>and I just saw like his head poking behind the tree.
<v Speaker 4>It looked like, I don't know, whenever the light hit it,
<v Speaker 4>it was just like like a brownish It's not really
<v Speaker 4>like having't like read to it. It was like like
<v Speaker 4>a brownish. It was like dirt brown and light brown
<v Speaker 4>kind of, and then the rest of it was just
<v Speaker 4>all black and his shoulders were really wide. I feel
<v Speaker 4>like part of his shoulders, which is I feel like
<v Speaker 4>part of his shoulder, looked as white as me. That's
<v Speaker 4>how white it was. And it was like just you know,
<v Speaker 4>sitting behind the tree.
<v Speaker 1>And sure, I know it's hard for you, Budy, I'll
<v Speaker 1>help you out. Basically, he was peeking out from behind
<v Speaker 1>the tree, and I thought that he was just getting
<v Speaker 1>excited and being a kid, and I didn't quite believe him,
<v Speaker 1>like did you really you really see Buddy? I said,
<v Speaker 1>did you really see something? And he got so upset,
<v Speaker 1>like he started crying like yeah, you got to believe me, Dad,
<v Speaker 1>And I'm like, okay, Buddy, I believe you, and then
<v Speaker 1>all the other stuff led me into going there the
<v Speaker 1>next day with my dog, which he was saying that
<v Speaker 1>kind of led me into the area that I had.
<v Speaker 1>I'd found a betting area. There was a group of
<v Speaker 1>three palms that had been pushed over and it was
<v Speaker 1>looked dug out underneath it, and I had video from
<v Speaker 1>that day that I have a I slowed down with
<v Speaker 1>a friend of mine and we found a clip that
<v Speaker 1>has what we nickname him Harry because it looks like
<v Speaker 1>Harry from Harry and the Henderson's and he's looking sideways.
<v Speaker 1>It's a blurry picture, but if you're looking at it
<v Speaker 1>and you know what you're seeing, it's there and it's
<v Speaker 1>an amazing So we got back home later that night
<v Speaker 1>and I'm like, why don't you do this? Man? I
<v Speaker 1>want you just to go ahead and draw what you
<v Speaker 1>think you saw. And he drew the most amazing little
<v Speaker 1>picture and details. I had it actually up on our
<v Speaker 1>Facebook page at one time, and it is such a
<v Speaker 1>perfect He's got the creek going through, he's got the
<v Speaker 1>tree with him peeking out looking at him. It's amazing,
<v Speaker 1>such a good, good little little drawing that he did
<v Speaker 1>of it. How excited did you get.
<v Speaker 4>Oh, I'm not really excited. And then and then my
<v Speaker 4>dad was like, are you sure? And then I was
<v Speaker 4>like yeah. And then I like should I cry? Because
<v Speaker 4>I don't think he believed me. And then the next
<v Speaker 4>day he went back there.
<v Speaker 1>Let's tell them about the other one on the other
<v Speaker 1>side of Cyprus Creek, the area, the elevated area where
<v Speaker 1>we had the vocal interaction. I'm gonna let you. I'll
<v Speaker 1>let you tell us a little bit about the details
<v Speaker 1>of the vocal. Okay, tell us what we were doing,
<v Speaker 1>because we went down I'll start it for you. We
<v Speaker 1>went into another area that we had been down before,
<v Speaker 1>and it's an elevated area. It's like a berm kind
<v Speaker 1>of and it goes into the swamp behind us. It's
<v Speaker 1>at the back of a preserve, and that preserve where
<v Speaker 1>that ridge is that we were, it's kind of like
<v Speaker 1>a bike trail or a hiking trail, and it's elevated
<v Speaker 1>during the flood season that it can't get into the
<v Speaker 1>neighborhoods that are that are not too too far from there.
<v Speaker 1>But this trail is right on the edge of a
<v Speaker 1>ten thousand acre preserve and I've had tons of activity
<v Speaker 1>happen back there. And on that day we were going
<v Speaker 1>down the trail and I made a little sound and
<v Speaker 1>I heard something come back. We've had vocalizations happen a
<v Speaker 1>lot and a lot of interaction where they make the
<v Speaker 1>sounds we make back, and the sounds that we make,
<v Speaker 1>we've heard them make towards us, and that's how we
<v Speaker 1>use them or where we've got them from. So Kitlen,
<v Speaker 1>I'll let you what happened. How long were we out
<v Speaker 1>there doing that?
<v Speaker 4>So we were out there like making noises for like
<v Speaker 4>an hour, probably hour, about less than an hour. It's
<v Speaker 4>right next to the or we were. We were up high,
<v Speaker 4>like he said, it was the Elevant. It was elevated,
<v Speaker 4>and there was this creek that was below us, or
<v Speaker 4>it was it was kind of like next to us,
<v Speaker 4>below us, you know whatever. So whenever we were walking,
<v Speaker 4>we kept on. We were kind of like walking and
<v Speaker 4>making the sounds like at the same time, right and
<v Speaker 4>kept on here and like like like Bartow was like
<v Speaker 4>like going off, or they're going off like.
<v Speaker 5>In the distance, like two hundred three hundred yards away probably,
<v Speaker 5>And then we kept on making the noises and there
<v Speaker 5>was one probably like.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know like probably like fifty feet away from
<v Speaker 4>us or something. It was clear they're like forty feet
<v Speaker 4>away from us. And it was just like Lou does
<v Speaker 4>bartol sound I've ever heard, and I got so scared.
<v Speaker 4>I was so scared it sounded I don't know, it
<v Speaker 4>was just so loud. It was sitting right next to us,
<v Speaker 4>squatted down behind a palmeto tree, like like on the
<v Speaker 4>bank of the creek. Remember you got that picture. We
<v Speaker 4>have a picture of it. It looks like a female
<v Speaker 4>squatting down behind it behind a palmeto tree, big palmeto tree.
<v Speaker 1>We were back there for I was filming and I
<v Speaker 1>got into one area where I always start. It's like
<v Speaker 1>almost like a line, and once you cross that line,
<v Speaker 1>all the weird stuff starts happening. And in that line
<v Speaker 1>is a direct link actually to another area I go
<v Speaker 1>into from another another way in. But we're walking that
<v Speaker 1>trail and it's just I always have him. They really
<v Speaker 1>like him, and they like hear his tone, and I'll
<v Speaker 1>have him do his little who's and little cooing sounds.
<v Speaker 1>And then on that day they were like they sounded
<v Speaker 1>they were half a mile off. And then but it
<v Speaker 1>was it's always three in three different times, and you
<v Speaker 1>hear who like from the distance, and then a couple
<v Speaker 1>of minutes later he would do one and then again,
<v Speaker 1>and every time it was getting closer and closer, like
<v Speaker 1>they were coming in. They wanted to know who was
<v Speaker 1>talking to him. They were speaking their language, it seemed like,
<v Speaker 1>and they were really interested into what Kaylen was doing.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, they didn't know that it was humans making the noise,
<v Speaker 4>and he thought they thought they probably thought, I'm assuming
<v Speaker 4>that it was like like the same thing as then
<v Speaker 4>like possibly another like other bigfoots or something making noises
<v Speaker 4>and talking to them. So they wanted to come over
<v Speaker 4>to us and see what what what they thought was
<v Speaker 4>making the sounds and see what they were doing. And
<v Speaker 4>then and I guess if they found out it was us,
<v Speaker 4>and it kind of like goes silent. Usually yeah, it's
<v Speaker 4>always super loud and active, and then you know, for
<v Speaker 4>a few minutes they're making sounds, and then a couple
<v Speaker 4>of minutes later there was dead silent. No birds, no
<v Speaker 4>boo frogs, no or no frogs in general, no birds,
<v Speaker 4>no crickets, nothing, It's just silent, dead.
<v Speaker 1>And it was almost like we were communicating with them,
<v Speaker 1>and they were coming in closer and closer, and it
<v Speaker 1>was like one of them got close enough to realize
<v Speaker 1>that we were humans and not them. And that's I
<v Speaker 1>think when you let out.
<v Speaker 6>That, I think he warned them. Oh that's not that's
<v Speaker 6>the wrong, wrong species. I think he was warning them back.
<v Speaker 6>But we've never had anything together negative happened. We've always
<v Speaker 6>had I believe that this group out there there is
<v Speaker 6>a very is a big family group, and I think
<v Speaker 6>they love the fact that I'm with my son, especially
<v Speaker 6>the juveniles, And we've had a lot of interesting things
<v Speaker 6>happen where I know we're being followed around. We both
<v Speaker 6>can hear them, and they've done it so many different
<v Speaker 6>times where they follow us when we go into our
<v Speaker 6>area and they'll follow us around till we leave. I
<v Speaker 6>actually one time one of Kaylin's best friends said he
<v Speaker 6>wanted to go out in the woods with us, so
<v Speaker 6>I brought him into our most active area and Calen,
<v Speaker 6>you want to tell him what we did, it's about
<v Speaker 6>the gifting area and everything.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, So we had we went to one of our
<v Speaker 4>gifting areas with my best friend that lives in our
<v Speaker 4>neighborhood for my neighborhood, and we took him back in
<v Speaker 4>this in our fair spot that we've been talking about
<v Speaker 4>for the past few minutes, and we we wanted to
<v Speaker 4>go with him to our gifting spot to go see,
<v Speaker 4>you know, if anything took any of the receas that
<v Speaker 4>we put back there, and we did. We found rappers.
<v Speaker 4>We found the rappers just laying on the ground and
<v Speaker 4>the clothing is that.
<v Speaker 7>Uh.
<v Speaker 4>Usually you would think like if something big and hairy
<v Speaker 4>came and like unwrapped something, it'll maybe like leave a
<v Speaker 4>hair or something.
<v Speaker 1>And it did.
<v Speaker 4>We found hair and we uh we put it in
<v Speaker 4>a ziplock bag and we took it back and would
<v Speaker 4>you do you'd like put it you like, sent it
<v Speaker 4>to Meldrum or something.
<v Speaker 1>I actually gave that one to Tim.
<v Speaker 4>Tim.
<v Speaker 1>I gave that one to Tim for him to look
<v Speaker 1>at and look under his microscope and see if it
<v Speaker 1>if it ended up being a legit hair. And Tim
<v Speaker 1>did say it ended up looking like a legit hair,
<v Speaker 1>but I'll go a little more detailed. We we took
<v Speaker 1>him back to the gifting spot and there had been
<v Speaker 1>quite a few reces that I put out. Reces has
<v Speaker 1>peanut butter in them, which I think they're attracted to.
<v Speaker 1>And the bright orange like kind of stands out and
<v Speaker 1>lets him know hey. And I've been doing it for
<v Speaker 1>a few years now, and every time I go back
<v Speaker 1>there and leave him, they're gone. Sometimes they disappear before
<v Speaker 1>I even leave, Like I'll go about, walk around, turn around,
<v Speaker 1>come back to leave, and there are already something's already gone.
<v Speaker 1>On that day we went, we found two wrappers that
<v Speaker 1>had been torn open, not bit or anything else. They
<v Speaker 1>were torn open and on the ground and right in
<v Speaker 1>between both rappers was a footprint and it matched the
<v Speaker 1>size of the normal size, which I say male. I
<v Speaker 1>call him a big male back there, and it's about
<v Speaker 1>a fourteen inch footprint big toe. We call him big
<v Speaker 1>toe because he only he always leaves a footprint with
<v Speaker 1>one his big toe showing. Yeah, it's like he lifts
<v Speaker 1>his like he lifts his other toes up or something.
<v Speaker 1>It's really weird. But we found a nice footprint that
<v Speaker 1>I actually have on the I put that on our page. Also,
<v Speaker 1>it's a really cool picture of the footprint. Right in
<v Speaker 1>the middle and on the wrapper was this beautiful, nice
<v Speaker 1>black hair that was about three inches long.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah. Right, I want to talk about what the day
<v Speaker 4>that we found we found the trap too, all right.
<v Speaker 1>So.
<v Speaker 4>I would think if you're out, if you're something something
<v Speaker 4>out in the woods that I mean, it's not like
<v Speaker 4>something that lives in the woods for its whole life
<v Speaker 4>that doesn't clearly doesn't want to be seen. And it's
<v Speaker 4>like you know, popular and because they don't like to
<v Speaker 4>be seen, they don't It's not like they they won't
<v Speaker 4>go to the grocery store and buy a big steak
<v Speaker 4>or something. You know, they won't go buy fruit and stuff.
<v Speaker 4>So whatever is out there has to kill like deer
<v Speaker 4>or something and eat it. So the same day I
<v Speaker 4>was out with my friend, we found like this trap.
<v Speaker 4>It was like this trap that looked like it didn't
<v Speaker 4>really like like burt you know, it didn't really like
<v Speaker 4>burk would. It looked like wood that people used to
<v Speaker 4>build with, like I mean they I'm sure they like
<v Speaker 4>already like like trim it and stuff. They get all
<v Speaker 4>the bark off, if you know what I mean, like
<v Speaker 4>construction would kind of it almost looked like that. It
<v Speaker 4>looked like something made a trap out of wood.
<v Speaker 1>And it looks.
<v Speaker 4>Like like if if a deer or something, it was
<v Speaker 4>like perfect level for a deer if a deer walks
<v Speaker 4>by or something it'll like, I don't know, it looked
<v Speaker 4>like maybe it like will hit them in the head
<v Speaker 4>or something.
<v Speaker 1>It looked like some form of a of a of
<v Speaker 1>a spring trap or something along those lines. That's also
<v Speaker 1>in the area where we had found the vine that
<v Speaker 1>looked like a tripwire. And this vine was about an
<v Speaker 1>inch around and it was about forty foot long and
<v Speaker 1>was really cool the way it was almost connected to
<v Speaker 1>two trees by going around them with an another piece
<v Speaker 1>of wood to help put the tension on it to
<v Speaker 1>make it tight, and it was about two and a
<v Speaker 1>half three feet off the ground. It was perfect height
<v Speaker 1>for if you were running scaring a deer it would
<v Speaker 1>run right into that and trip on it and slow
<v Speaker 1>it down enough for you to grab it. It was
<v Speaker 1>really really cool. We found a lot of stuff back
<v Speaker 1>there like that. We've also found what looks like to
<v Speaker 1>be blinds, and we're hunting blinds almost where their trees
<v Speaker 1>are set in an angle and they're always into a
<v Speaker 1>fork in the tree, and then you'll see different types
<v Speaker 1>of other bushes up in there, like I've found palmeto
<v Speaker 1>palms and oak leaves up in the middle of a
<v Speaker 1>pine tree that's lining up. It's just that makes no sense.
<v Speaker 1>The different, the different, all the different trees that are
<v Speaker 1>put together and bushes together up in these trees almost
<v Speaker 1>like blinds, and that they hide behind.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, I think they like the corner of the deer whatever.
<v Speaker 4>Like if one is trying to like till a gear's them,
<v Speaker 4>the deer's gonna run or the deer is gonna like
<v Speaker 4>try and run off from whatever it got scared by.
<v Speaker 4>Then there's gonna be like another sasquatch or bigfoot on
<v Speaker 4>this side. Then it's gonna turn and it's gonna run
<v Speaker 4>right into the trip wire and it's gonna slow the
<v Speaker 4>deer down enough for them to go run over and
<v Speaker 4>eat them. I mean to run over and get them
<v Speaker 4>and basically rip it apart. Right.
<v Speaker 1>Well, I used to think that, Remember how we would
<v Speaker 1>always go into the that area and how long it
<v Speaker 1>takes us to get in there because of all the
<v Speaker 1>trees leaning against like that fence line, and it's like
<v Speaker 1>a it's like an obstacle course. Basically, it looks like
<v Speaker 1>an obstacle course. And I used to think that that
<v Speaker 1>was for us. I used to think that that was
<v Speaker 1>to keep us out. And then after I found that
<v Speaker 1>trip wire and where it was, how it was located
<v Speaker 1>to where that trail was. I realized that those aren't
<v Speaker 1>for us. That's another form of hunting. They've got this
<v Speaker 1>trail set up with like an obstacle course where something
<v Speaker 1>turns and tries to run away from them and has
<v Speaker 1>to jump over and around all these obstacle courses, bobsole course.
<v Speaker 1>And if you're something that can sit there and hide
<v Speaker 1>right by a tree, and you've got multiple ones, it's
<v Speaker 1>like they could run the moments like they're running dogs
<v Speaker 1>and they have to jump and go around this date,
<v Speaker 1>it's really easy for him to grab them. And we
<v Speaker 1>found back there in this location, we actually found a hog.
<v Speaker 1>And Calen wasn't with me that day, but we found
<v Speaker 1>a hog and that hog had four broken legs, which
<v Speaker 1>was the most unique thing I've ever seen back there,
<v Speaker 1>just as far as just just alive. He was alive
<v Speaker 1>sitting there with four broken legs, and that was insane
<v Speaker 1>to see.
<v Speaker 4>Oh also, I remember this one day we went out
<v Speaker 4>with a couple of friends that we met. We met
<v Speaker 4>remember Wiley Wiley and another Mike Mike my family, Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>Mike Famola, and we were out there by the caves
<v Speaker 4>that are actually near near where we're at right now.
<v Speaker 4>It was kind of around wikiwache ish like Homo sasa
<v Speaker 4>kind of.
<v Speaker 1>Right, and.
<v Speaker 4>We we went we actually because whenever we go to
<v Speaker 4>the caves, there's caves there, and whenever we go to
<v Speaker 4>the caves, we're always like, man, I want to explore
<v Speaker 4>this area, right, So then and then we were like,
<v Speaker 4>maybe we should do it. So we met these people.
<v Speaker 4>Then we went out in the woods with like they
<v Speaker 4>took their truck, then we took our truck, and we
<v Speaker 4>we were like following each other and we're the terrain
<v Speaker 4>is really unique there. It's like, really there's a lot
<v Speaker 4>of hill there's like a lot of hills.
<v Speaker 1>Is very dry for Florida.
<v Speaker 4>Play dry kind I don't know. And we parked, we
<v Speaker 4>parked our vehicles and we got out this one spot
<v Speaker 4>and we smelled something really strong. You probably know what
<v Speaker 4>I'm oh, yeah, and it was it smelled really strong,
<v Speaker 4>and we like it was almost like our nose led
<v Speaker 4>us to where that scent was coming from and where
<v Speaker 4>whenever we found where that smell was coming from, we
<v Speaker 4>it took us a second to find it. But then
<v Speaker 4>we were like, oh, are you seeing what I'm seeing,
<v Speaker 4>and it was it looked like some some type of
<v Speaker 4>animal hert. We think we thought it was a cow
<v Speaker 4>hert or something right like a cow or There.
<v Speaker 1>Was a few pieces in there, and it was only
<v Speaker 1>about fifteen twenty feet away from a weird tree structure,
<v Speaker 1>teepy little teepee structure that we had just found. And
<v Speaker 1>then on the other side of the teepee structure, I
<v Speaker 1>remember there was all those trees that were pushed down
<v Speaker 1>and over that looked like they were about to be
<v Speaker 1>used to make something else. It was a really really
<v Speaker 1>weird area, but that mutilated remains of animals was pretty ruesome.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, there was like in Testines everywhere, it looked like
<v Speaker 4>in Testings everywhere it was like slimy, like slimy thick
<v Speaker 4>worms if you.
<v Speaker 1>Were but there were nothing, there was nothing that showed
<v Speaker 1>any signs of tools being used to cut kill or
<v Speaker 1>whatever it was. It looked like everything had just been
<v Speaker 1>ripped apart. You know, we've had some other stuff that
<v Speaker 1>we've already talked about. We didn't talk about it together,
<v Speaker 1>but he was with me when we were in Jennings,
<v Speaker 1>and oh, we can talk about what we just had
<v Speaker 1>happened this weekend. So we had our return trip to
<v Speaker 1>Jennings State Forest last weekend, and we actually met up
<v Speaker 1>with a film crew and they stayed with us the
<v Speaker 1>whole weekend. We were doing some filming for some things
<v Speaker 1>that I can't talk about right at the moment. They're
<v Speaker 1>kind of a surprise. But it was a really cool
<v Speaker 1>experience for all of us, and we wanted Calen to
<v Speaker 1>be with us, so he came back and we went
<v Speaker 1>out to the same exact road that we found the
<v Speaker 1>trackway last year. Last year we found sixteen inch footprints
<v Speaker 1>on a back little sugar sand road that were with
<v Speaker 1>a fifty four inch stride that went on for a
<v Speaker 1>quarter mile and dead it then deaden into a creek,
<v Speaker 1>and so we went back sam exact road we start
<v Speaker 1>going down at Now that road is no longer sugar sand.
<v Speaker 1>It's all grown up. There's pine needles covering it and
<v Speaker 1>leaves and grass, and it's nothing like it used to be.
<v Speaker 1>So we really couldn't see any impressions. But we went
<v Speaker 1>down the road and about a quarter mile down it,
<v Speaker 1>or no, I'm sorry, not a quarter mile, probably about
<v Speaker 1>one hundred yards down it, there's started seeing trees pushed over,
<v Speaker 1>and they didn't look like necessarily they were all from
<v Speaker 1>storm damage. One of them was completely like, look like
<v Speaker 1>it had been twisted, and then another one was going
<v Speaker 1>across the trail and bent into another tree where it
<v Speaker 1>was going up it. And so we kept going and
<v Speaker 1>we all got weird feelings that day. We were all
<v Speaker 1>getting that feeling like, ooh, this kind of feels different
<v Speaker 1>back here. So we followed that down to the creek.
<v Speaker 1>And when we got to the creek, it's a dry
<v Speaker 1>time of year, so we actually followed a game trail
<v Speaker 1>that went off to the left on the edge of
<v Speaker 1>the creek. We followed that back into an area and
<v Speaker 1>we were back there for about an hour walking around.
<v Speaker 1>And on our way back out, we went into this
<v Speaker 1>little area where the tree line is. It's almost like
<v Speaker 1>a little valley in there. It's a small little valley
<v Speaker 1>and there's like a little marsh. That's a better way
<v Speaker 1>to put a little marsh. And it was real pretty
<v Speaker 1>and green in there with water that was little water
<v Speaker 1>puddles in different spots. And so I walked in and
<v Speaker 1>I saw right at the edge of this little little puddle,
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, that looks like a footprint and it wasn't
<v Speaker 1>real big, but and directly across from it, there was
<v Speaker 1>another one about maybe four foot away on the other
<v Speaker 1>side of the little puddle, and I got out my
<v Speaker 1>tape measure measured. It ended up being ten and a
<v Speaker 1>half inches by five and a half inches wide, which
<v Speaker 1>is and in four inches wide at the heel, which
<v Speaker 1>is way too wide to be a normal human barefoot.
<v Speaker 1>So I was like, I think we got it. I
<v Speaker 1>think we've actually got got a good print over here, guys.
<v Speaker 1>So camera guys came over, Kalin starts going to walk off,
<v Speaker 1>and what'd you defined?
<v Speaker 4>I found five prints? Well, hu, we found or I
<v Speaker 4>found this first print. It was castable or it looked
<v Speaker 4>really good. It looked castable. Man, I thought, I thought, well,
<v Speaker 4>there might be some more prints. So I kept walking
<v Speaker 4>like slowly forward, being careful for where I stepped, and
<v Speaker 4>I found another footprint, and then going up this this
<v Speaker 4>like steep hill, I found another print, then then another,
<v Speaker 4>and it turned out being five prints is what I found.
<v Speaker 1>And when he first yelled over at me, he's like, Dad,
<v Speaker 1>I got one over here too, And I'm like, all right,
<v Speaker 1>budd hey, will hold on. He's like oh, I got
<v Speaker 1>another one too, Dad, another one. So I went over
<v Speaker 1>and I look at them, and I took out my measure.
<v Speaker 1>I took out my tape measure exactly the same it
<v Speaker 1>was from whatever did the prints over. The first ones
<v Speaker 1>we found that I found were exactly the same one
<v Speaker 1>that did this one, and exact measurements. And then the stride.
<v Speaker 1>The stride was a little funky because it had to
<v Speaker 1>take a weird step to go up the hill, so
<v Speaker 1>I really couldn't get a good stride length on it.
<v Speaker 1>But we were able to get another set of castings
<v Speaker 1>from Jennings again because we casted both of those, so
<v Speaker 1>it ended up making the whole trip and what we
<v Speaker 1>were recording. It made it really really cool to be
<v Speaker 1>live to kind of have that on video. So we've
<v Speaker 1>got this perfect little follower and son moment where we
<v Speaker 1>both found footprints at the same time and they were
<v Speaker 1>from the exact same animal or creature or being, and
<v Speaker 1>we were able to get footprint casts of them, so
<v Speaker 1>we had that little memory forever.
<v Speaker 4>Ye I want you to talk about the other part now.
<v Speaker 4>Remember whenever we were on a trail and you thought
<v Speaker 4>you saw some looking behind me?
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, he just wants to bere were no, no,
<v Speaker 1>I know, but you were Feel free to talk about it, buddy.
<v Speaker 1>We actually met back up with the group and on
<v Speaker 1>the last day of our filming and stuff, we had
<v Speaker 1>had some some audio recorders out on the road that
<v Speaker 1>was directly across the street from these are these are
<v Speaker 1>like almost like logging roads in the middle of nowhere,
<v Speaker 1>and on the other side of the road from where
<v Speaker 1>we found the footprints, it actually leads that road leads
<v Speaker 1>into the deeper part of the forest, and we had
<v Speaker 1>had audio recorders set up. So the whole group walks
<v Speaker 1>down where the audio is and they're sitting there. And
<v Speaker 1>while they're sitting there looking at doing a like an
<v Speaker 1>interview around the audio recorder with the rest of the group,
<v Speaker 1>I'm I look up ahead, and like, way up ahead,
<v Speaker 1>a couple hundred yards up. I look and I I
<v Speaker 1>see this guy. He's just like standing on the edge
<v Speaker 1>of the road. And we've seen some weird, some unique
<v Speaker 1>characters up there. And we actually went down one trail
<v Speaker 1>and some guy kind of yelled at us, like made
<v Speaker 1>us feel very uncomfortable. So I thought maybe it was
<v Speaker 1>another hunter or something just kind of out there watching
<v Speaker 1>to see what we were doing. And I'm watching and
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, for a minute, staring at it, and I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>emai else, see that guy? Was that guy doing down there?
<v Speaker 1>And Calen kind of comes over and he's like he
<v Speaker 1>had just miss seeing him. And I pulled out my
<v Speaker 1>phone and I zoomed in with my zoom. And my
<v Speaker 1>camera zoom is way better than my video zoom. I
<v Speaker 1>didn't know that at the time, but I zoomed in.
<v Speaker 1>And when I zoomed in, he was no longer standing.
<v Speaker 1>I guess it realized I was looking at him. And
<v Speaker 1>when I zoomed in, it was a squatch and he
<v Speaker 1>was squatting down. I couldn't tell exact dimensions by far.
<v Speaker 1>It was two hundred yards away, but this thing was
<v Speaker 1>solid jet black. And now he was squatting down behind
<v Speaker 1>and behind this green bush and in front of this tree.
<v Speaker 1>And I just saw him perfect sitting there and I
<v Speaker 1>could he was all black. I couldn't tell much more
<v Speaker 1>than that because he couldn't He wasn't wearing clothes, it
<v Speaker 1>was it was all fur. And so I hit record,
<v Speaker 1>actually hit I hit video. Instead of just taking a picture,
<v Speaker 1>I hit video, and I hit video. I had pulled
<v Speaker 1>the zoom out all the way and I had to
<v Speaker 1>zoom back in. By the time I did, he was gone.
<v Speaker 1>And the camera guy comes up and he's like, I
<v Speaker 1>may have got that. I don't know for sure. So
<v Speaker 1>we're still waiting to find out for sure. Hoping, Yes,
<v Speaker 1>we're hoping. So what happened? We went down that tree
<v Speaker 1>okay back and we went down to where we ended.
<v Speaker 1>The whole group got together now and we went down
<v Speaker 1>there to see it. What what? What? What? Maybe I
<v Speaker 1>had seen.
<v Speaker 4>Well before I talk about that whenever, like whenever you
<v Speaker 4>were talking about earlier, whenever we were in the jeep
<v Speaker 4>and we had the whole top off, I was like
<v Speaker 4>standing up on the seat looking out the top of it,
<v Speaker 4>and I hear, I hear, hey, y'all, and me and
<v Speaker 4>me and Christina hear me. And Christina heard it too,
<v Speaker 4>And I'm not sure if you heard, but you might
<v Speaker 4>have heard it. I feel like you heard you heard
<v Speaker 4>a voice, but you weren't sure what it said or
<v Speaker 4>what you heard, like what you were to say, right,
<v Speaker 4>And we weren't sure too, But I'm pretty sure it
<v Speaker 4>said something said hey, y'all. And that's the exact same
<v Speaker 4>area where you saw where you saw whatever was looking
<v Speaker 4>at us.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it was really weird. We so the group got
<v Speaker 1>back together and we walked down there a couple hundred
<v Speaker 1>yards to where it was, and as we got closer,
<v Speaker 1>you could start telling that it was not at all
<v Speaker 1>what I thought I was seeing the way it was
<v Speaker 1>set up. It looked like it was so close. But
<v Speaker 1>I realized how big this thing had to be, for
<v Speaker 1>it was so far away, and it was behind this
<v Speaker 1>bush and in front of this burnt tree. Everything on
<v Speaker 1>the left side of the road had had a controlled burn.
<v Speaker 1>So on the left side there was a creek bed
<v Speaker 1>that comes down a dry creek bed, and right on
<v Speaker 1>that creek bed, right where I had seen something, a
<v Speaker 1>person I thought standing there. Whatever that was, use that
<v Speaker 1>creek bed to get there. I found a footprint. The
<v Speaker 1>footprint was I believe sixteen inches, which matched the same
<v Speaker 1>size as the Jenning footprint we found last year. So
<v Speaker 1>we filed that creek bed in That creek bed led
<v Speaker 1>us to another area where where we found some tree
<v Speaker 1>brakes and a bunch of other really unique things. It
<v Speaker 1>was just really cool how it all worked out, like
<v Speaker 1>everything led us like to see whatever that was standing
<v Speaker 1>there and then to find the footprint and then be
<v Speaker 1>able to follow that in to a little area that
<v Speaker 1>had all this other stuff going on. It was just
<v Speaker 1>too much for coincidence. Yeah, and thank you for letting
<v Speaker 1>us tell our father and son bigfoot research experiences. It's
<v Speaker 1>been such a great part of our life together and
<v Speaker 1>I hope that everyone else gets to enjoy it and
<v Speaker 1>enjoy our stories as much as we did when we
<v Speaker 1>had them.
<v Speaker 4>Yep.
<v Speaker 7>My big foot sightings happened in British Columbia in two
<v Speaker 7>thousand and two and twenty twenty. The first time that
<v Speaker 7>I seen a sasquatch, I didn't really know what I
<v Speaker 7>was seeing. It was late summer, and I went out
<v Speaker 7>and visit my friend because he recently moved south of
<v Speaker 7>Fort Nelson. So I went out to see him and
<v Speaker 7>had a visit, and then before it got dirk, I
<v Speaker 7>decided that I was going to head home. And I
<v Speaker 7>was driving home, passed the rodeo ground south of town,
<v Speaker 7>and I was cruising along pretty good, and I went
<v Speaker 7>down to dip across the tracks and the tracks, and
<v Speaker 7>as I was going down there across the tracks, I
<v Speaker 7>noticed what I thought was a bear up the around
<v Speaker 7>side the road. So I was like, okay, well, you know,
<v Speaker 7>you see bears all the time around Fort Nelson area,
<v Speaker 7>so no big deal. So as I was driving and
<v Speaker 7>I hit the tracks, across the tracks and go up,
<v Speaker 7>I saw this things stand up and that's when I
<v Speaker 7>caught my eye as I was cruising and then it
<v Speaker 7>kind of leapt out towards the truck and I had
<v Speaker 7>to swerve over to get away from it, and uh,
<v Speaker 7>that's when I noticed. I was like in shock there
<v Speaker 7>for a second. I was like, that was no bear,
<v Speaker 7>and I couldn't believe it when it when it turned
<v Speaker 7>around and jumped up kind of stretched right out. Ith. Yeah,
<v Speaker 7>I knew then and there that wasn't a bear. I
<v Speaker 7>I actually I was thinking, I couldn't believe what I saw,
<v Speaker 7>and I was like, it wasn't a bear, And bigfoot
<v Speaker 7>didn't even cross my mind until after the fact, And yeah,
<v Speaker 7>I was a little bit shocked on that. So as
<v Speaker 7>I kind of whipped around the vehicle to get away
<v Speaker 7>from the big foot, I I kind of went up
<v Speaker 7>this little hill on the other side it just starts
<v Speaker 7>to tip up, and uh, that's where I went, and
<v Speaker 7>I uh, as I was top of the hill, to
<v Speaker 7>get the truck straightened up, and I'm on my lane
<v Speaker 7>in that I noticed it was heading back into the woods.
<v Speaker 7>The first time I seen it wasn't in the woods,
<v Speaker 7>but this time it went off into the woods. So
<v Speaker 7>that's where I seen my my very first one. And
<v Speaker 7>uh yeah, I, like I say, I was shocked. I
<v Speaker 7>didn't know what it was. And the only reason that
<v Speaker 7>I knew, like I say, it wasn't a bear because
<v Speaker 7>when it stretched out, it got big fast, and uh
<v Speaker 7>yeah it was. It got me off guard. So uh yeah.
<v Speaker 7>The next day I was thinking about it a lot,
<v Speaker 7>so I uh, I jumped in my truck and I
<v Speaker 7>drove back. And there's a road that goes in towards
<v Speaker 7>the meal. So what I did is I I knew
<v Speaker 7>where the tracks went in around the back to the meals.
<v Speaker 7>There was a pit back there, so I took my
<v Speaker 7>truck and I drove back to the pit and uh yeah.
<v Speaker 7>When I went back to the pit, uh there there
<v Speaker 7>was an old quad trail that we used to quad
<v Speaker 7>down and stuff. So I decided to get out of
<v Speaker 7>the truck and go up board a bank and have
<v Speaker 7>a look there to see if I could see anything
<v Speaker 7>look for tracks, or what not, because I was thinking,
<v Speaker 7>you know, hey, what if this was bigfoot? Right, it
<v Speaker 7>definitely wasn't a bear, and uh yeah, I didn't see
<v Speaker 7>anything around that area as where foot prants or nothing.
<v Speaker 1>It was just looked like.
<v Speaker 7>It always dad normal quad trail, right, but it's like
<v Speaker 7>a hard rock pit anyway, so it'll be very difficult
<v Speaker 7>to leave a footprint there. And yeah, I was. I
<v Speaker 7>didn't find nothing there, and then so I I just
<v Speaker 7>went back to my truck and drove back and I
<v Speaker 7>didn't say too much about it to anybody really, And
<v Speaker 7>it was only a few years later when I was
<v Speaker 7>sitting down talking about stories around the fire pit there,
<v Speaker 7>my brother in law mentioned about a story that had
<v Speaker 7>happened where they had seen a bigfoot and his story.
<v Speaker 7>So I decided to tell him my story. And when
<v Speaker 7>I told him my story, that's when later on years later, well,
<v Speaker 7>when he's come across your show that he sent it
<v Speaker 7>to me and he knew right where. I explained to
<v Speaker 7>him where it happened there the tracks that it was
<v Speaker 7>actually like only a couple kilometers from a gentleman that
<v Speaker 7>saw a bigfoot in Fort Nelson back in I think
<v Speaker 7>it was twenty twenty three, the guy was saying when
<v Speaker 7>he saw his big foot sighting there, so he saw
<v Speaker 7>it down down by the river on the railroad tracks,
<v Speaker 7>and it's just like only two kilometers away from where
<v Speaker 7>I had seen it, the one that I saw. And
<v Speaker 7>I did listen to the show, so listening to gentleman's
<v Speaker 7>description on what he saw, well, that was similar to
<v Speaker 7>what I saw, but mine was like a darker color
<v Speaker 7>and I didn't have that shape on his chest or
<v Speaker 7>anything like that one I saw. But mind yet it
<v Speaker 7>was like in two thousand and two when I saw it, Yeah,
<v Speaker 7>that was the That was the very first one I seen,
<v Speaker 7>and yeah, I thought about it a lot, and then
<v Speaker 7>I started, you know, watching shows on bigfoot and stuff
<v Speaker 7>like that and just seeing what other people were saying
<v Speaker 7>about it. So anyway, I was my next sighting. My
<v Speaker 7>second one was in so I was going on vacation
<v Speaker 7>and we drive around the Kafier Loop was called, so
<v Speaker 7>you know, we head west or north, depends which way
<v Speaker 7>we take that summer and do the whole loop. So anyway,
<v Speaker 7>we went west this summer and we went over west
<v Speaker 7>of Prince George towards Smithers and got to Kitwanga and
<v Speaker 7>hit the highway thirty seven, and then we were making
<v Speaker 7>our way up north, and this particular time, we had
<v Speaker 7>stopped into a pull out. The kids need to use
<v Speaker 7>the washroom and stuff, so we went in and used
<v Speaker 7>the washroom in that and we loaded the kids back
<v Speaker 7>up into the truck and we started driving just going
<v Speaker 7>north towards Mesiata junction. And it wasn't too long when
<v Speaker 7>we were going. I just had to truck up the
<v Speaker 7>speed and I was looking ahead on the straight stretch
<v Speaker 7>and that's when I seen this running across the road
<v Speaker 7>and I said to my wife, I said, you see that.
<v Speaker 7>I said, that ain't no bear. And that's when I
<v Speaker 7>was like, I knew exactly what I seen them this time.
<v Speaker 7>So we drove up and I kind of eyeballed where
<v Speaker 7>this sasquatch or bigfoot shape went into. And I kind
<v Speaker 7>of slowed down and I was looking in where I
<v Speaker 7>thought it went andentwered the bushes there, and it was
<v Speaker 7>pretty thick and all growing in with the big timbers
<v Speaker 7>and stuff. And yeah, I couldn't see nothing. I couldn't
<v Speaker 7>hear nothing this time because I actually went up to
<v Speaker 7>where I seen it go in, right, So it wasn't
<v Speaker 7>such a big surprise like when I saw the very
<v Speaker 7>first one. Right, So that was my two big foot
<v Speaker 7>sightings that I've seen.
