Russell Wilson On Sean Payton Fallout, Pete Carroll Relationship & His Hall of Fame Career | Bussin'
Recorded: February 6th, 2026 | Welcome back to another episode of Bussin' With The Boys. This week, Will is joined by friend of the show, Clay Matthews. Clay and Will dive into all of the headlines coming out of the NFL Combine from this past weekend. The guys get into what their experience was like at the Combine, for Will, his pro day. The boys get into what they were most nervous about and whether or not Will is more athletic than Clay.
Following the intro, Will and Taylor sit down with Super Bowl champion QB Russell Wilson for a real, unfiltered conversation about football, leadership, and the grind of the last few years. The boys kick things off by asking how Russ somehow has time to do everything—business, family, football—and how long he actually wants to keep playing in the NFL. From there, he gets honest about the struggles of the last three seasons. He has bounced around the last couple years and dives into what happened in Denver between him and Sean Payton.
Russ breaks down what the quarterback room is like in New York with Jaxon Dart and Jameis Winston. He also talks about his relationship with Pete Carroll while he was in Seattle. Russ gets into how Pete is able to keep his energy so high and what makes him such a great coach. Finally Russ gets into how much longer he wants to play and asks the boys what they did to prepare for life after football. He also gets into what it has been like and how he deals with the critics and “haters” when things aren’t going his way.
If you’re into NFL quarterback talk, comeback seasons, leadership, Super Bowl dreams, and behind-the-scenes insight into life as one of the league’s most talked-about players, this one’s for you.
Big hugs, tiny kisses.

It doesn't have to be a man event or a pay per view. 00:03:47 Speaker 1: Yeah. I was a little bit like when THEO was known as the guy who watches the early prelims. I'm like, buddy, this should be me. I've been doing this since nineteen and you. 00:03:57 Speaker 2: Do it for real like this isn't there's no there's no theatrical element or like no expectation. When Steell gets seen on once says he have to be in and every time like you're like, no, this is you. 00:04:07 Speaker 1: Know, said, hey, if you need some sport, you have seen Mexicos on tonight Moraine overs Kavanaugh. 00:04:13 Speaker 2: You did, Yeah, you did. But I've dropped a couple of parlays when I blindly ride with oh I don't. 00:04:17 Speaker 1: Yeah, well, hey that that you saw the balance. It's at zero right now. We'll wait until next next football season. 00:04:23 Speaker 2: But you you you like to you like to bet during the fight. 00:04:26 Speaker 1: I do. I'm a I'm a live live better, you're a live. 00:04:28 Speaker 2: Better what you can do on FanDuel? You have thoughts on Halloway, OLIVERA, I. 00:04:34 Speaker 1: Don't giving it much thought, but I think it's gonna be a great fight. I think man Halloway is just to look remarkable since he's moved up weight classes. I think I would like to see Halloway on the ground with Oliver. I want to see them two roll, just because Oliver is an absolute stud, you know with his jiu jitsu. But I know they get right. Well yeah, I mean you would say, yes, he's he's got the you know, he's he's he's dominant probably the most submissions, you know something. Yeah, he's got it. But like Holloway, like they want to see him trade and bang, and that's what Oliveraria has said. He's I'm gonna stand with him. I'm gonna get hurt, but I'm gonna keep coming. Yeah, didn't work with him when he fought uh Ilia, but we'll see it should be a good fun JP. 00:05:11 Speaker 2: You got it. You got a dog in the fight on this one. Not really. 00:05:16 Speaker 5: I think I aligned with Clay also. 00:05:19 Speaker 6: I mean Charles, he's still he's like older in the weight class, but he's just been in the UFC for so long, so it feels like he's older than he actually is. Yeah, and I kind of wonder when he's going to be done. I know he loves the game, but I would love to see if he went out on a win over Max Holloway and then left the gloves because he's not really going to get a title again. 00:05:39 Speaker 1: I'd have to I'd have to look at the the class he's fighting in because I know that what is he is? He one seventy, he's lightweight one fifty. 00:05:46 Speaker 2: You're supposed to be the UFC guy right now. 00:05:47 Speaker 1: Well, the weight classes are all over the place, brother, what's flyweight, welterweight, middleweight? I get you, light heavyweight and heavyweight, but yeah, it's it's tough to keep up with those, all right, So I'll yeah, or give me Holloway. I'm taking give me Okay Holloway by ko. 00:06:08 Speaker 5: Okay Olvera by submission. 00:06:10 Speaker 2: I'm just doing You're you're giving. You're giving game to the money line fans out there, the money Line Matthew fans. 00:06:16 Speaker 1: But hey, maybe wait till the wait till you know the first round is underway so we can see how it goes. You'd hate for him to get him on the ground. You know those odds start shifting live live odds. 00:06:24 Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, another question for you. Let's get immersive on some Clay Matthews, this is your co host and busting with the boys today. What you've been up to since the locker room? 00:06:33 Speaker 1: Man, Man, I just you know that ice storm we had was real. Been doing a lot of clean up. Yeah, got two chain saws, chain sauce, shout out steel. They want to hook me up with another one unless you give me another one. But uh, yeah, I've been doing a lot of cleanup. We're also moving. As we talked about moving homes, we bought our home and uh, when we moved out here five years ago, pretty much sight on scene. That's how the market was in twenty twenty one. Yeah, all cash off or way over asking price. We got in beautiful neighborhood. Love kind of where we're ats out in the middle of it takes like twenty five minutes to get to sixty fives. But we've you know, finally found a home, purchased it. My wife's been renovating it for over a year now, so we're ready to move in. And yeah, it's been a little difficult, you know, because I'm just my personality type. I don't trust people with my stuff. So whether it's you know, my firearms, my tools, my memory. I've been moving up and your wheel of cheese. Yeah, no, I left that for you boys. I was a gift. You still have it though, right. 00:07:35 Speaker 2: Something like that, I think, yeah, yeah, we might have donated it. 00:07:39 Speaker 1: Is that why the mice were coming into the wet We. 00:07:41 Speaker 2: Got freaking mouses. Now we got mice. 00:07:46 Speaker 1: You had mice before I was here. No, Bro, this place always stunk. I'm glad you cleaned it up, though. 00:07:51 Speaker 2: The wheel of cheese didn't help. 00:07:53 Speaker 1: No, it didn't help. But it was a gift. 00:07:56 Speaker 2: You were supposed to bring in tools so we could eat it, and you never brought in tools. 00:08:00 Speaker 1: You're right, I did say that, but it was an opportunity for you to come save the day. So no, just like when you reach out, actually you know what, you always do reach out to me to see it saved the day. That's why I'm here sitting down, So I should have brought that. Anyways, getting back to your question, move in. Okay, we got the kids spring break coming up. Poetry night at the kids' school. My daughter wrote about basketball. Helped her with that rhyme a little bit. But yeah, men's trying to be a good father and husband. Seem to be failing at both. But trying my hardest you know, really trying my hardest. 00:08:31 Speaker 2: Do you uh do you miss the boys? Are you pumped to be in the day? 00:08:34 Speaker 1: How fired up? 00:08:34 Speaker 2: I think we were all a little juice? 00:08:36 Speaker 1: Yeah, great. 00:08:39 Speaker 2: Through the door standing ovation. Yeah, a lot to talk about. There's a lot to talk about. 00:08:45 Speaker 1: Why, Yeah, I texted you. What do you guys talk about it? What do we do in the pod? The locker room? I got I never I've never done a podcast, you know, Like I mean, I sat there and I guess. But when we do the locker room, we talk about you know, we give our bad take, right, we talked about we talked about ball. We talked about ball. But here it's like I said, send me last week's episode, the interview you had with Bryce Harper and man, y'all just talk about bullshit for the first like fifty minutes and I go, all right. 00:09:12 Speaker 2: Let's hit the headlines. What happened over the weekend? You see what happened? And Iran joking, we're Joe. We like to have fun on the bus. We like fun on the bus. 00:09:24 Speaker 1: I saw the Supreme Leaders dead. Is that what we're talking about? 00:09:27 Speaker 2: Yeah? 00:09:28 Speaker 1: I guess. Oh sorry, shut up and dribbled. You're right, you're right still. 00:09:36 Speaker 7: Up. 00:09:37 Speaker 1: What do you want to say? 00:09:38 Speaker 2: The flames were high this weekend. Oh my grill, I grilled for the first time. 00:09:42 Speaker 1: Did you are you a gas grilled? Do you use charcoal? Gallops? 00:09:46 Speaker 2: Gas? 00:09:47 Speaker 8: Now? 00:09:47 Speaker 2: Because it came with the house. But I had a beautiful what was it? Because JP kind of hooked it up. 00:09:55 Speaker 5: With pit Boss Pit Boss Boss. 00:09:57 Speaker 2: Yeah, I had this, Uh what is it? It's got the little pellets in the that's where you kind of smoke and it smells so yeah, but right now grilling gas grow. 00:10:06 Speaker 5: Well, we didn't get it after photo, which makes me want. 00:10:09 Speaker 6: Is this. 00:10:11 Speaker 7: Is? 00:10:11 Speaker 1: This is this year? I don't mind a challenge, but when it gets to where it could be a hernia or a hemorrhoid. 00:14:20 Speaker 5: Right, not Matt, you want to speak on that. 00:14:24 Speaker 2: He all had a hemorrhoid before Matt has. It's not good. It's not fun. 00:14:28 Speaker 1: Did you have to get it removed or you had to calm down all that playback there? How can you have better numbers than me? 00:15:39 Speaker 8: Yeah? 00:15:39 Speaker 1: Pro day when you can just fabricate your numbers. 00:15:42 Speaker 2: You can't fabricate your Okay, why did you? 00:15:44 Speaker 1: Brother? 00:15:44 Speaker 2: Why did you fabricate better numbers? 00:15:46 Speaker 1: Because I was I had all thirty two eyes on me from thirty two organizations network. No, you did it? Twenty ten when Sue came out, did people start caring about Nebraska? 00:15:57 Speaker 2: I was, I was post, I was post Sue post to post twenty ten? 00:16:02 Speaker 7: Who was? 00:16:02 Speaker 2: What year did you come out defensive? MVP? 00:16:06 Speaker 1: What the Blue Bonnet Bowl? Nebraska of Nebraska? Yeah, brother, I went on time time are you trying to discredit that. What all of it? 00:16:18 Speaker 2: You're trying to say that's fluff? 00:16:20 Speaker 1: Your four or five four is fluff. So I asked these boys last night, I said, what are we going to talk about that we're gona talk about the combine. They're like, yo, check out this PDF just so you can run down what current affairs that we might talk about. And I see, all right, they're comparing claying Will's numbers. I go four or five four like you were scooting. If it was four or five four. I couldn't validate that anywhere. There's one clip online of Nebraska where the clock starts like a half a second after you leave, after you leave, like it's not official. 00:16:47 Speaker 2: I see you're watching tape. 00:16:49 Speaker 1: Yeah I was, because I was like, hey, if you win a four or five four, I'll give it to you. 00:16:54 Speaker 2: Who are you calling your dad? Hey, did head strength coach Nebraska? 00:16:59 Speaker 1: Or she's gonna lie? Freeze? 00:17:00 Speaker 2: He's not gonna lie. This is the main of honor and integrity. How would you remember? 00:17:06 Speaker 1: Yeah? 00:17:06 Speaker 8: All right? 00:17:07 Speaker 2: Good? 00:17:07 Speaker 7: Oh? 00:17:07 Speaker 2: Here is he picked up here? All right, Coach Dobson, you're you're on busting with the boys, But we have a question for you because everybody. I know, they're all coming after me. They're saying, Clay, I got Clay Matthew sitting on the bus. He's like, I can't validate your forty times anywhere. So I picked up my phone and I called you. Let these people know what I ran on pro day. 00:17:33 Speaker 10: Well, going into it, you didn't do hardly all some maximum. 00:17:37 Speaker 3: Stuff because you had that hur of the deal, so. 00:17:39 Speaker 1: We didn't even know what you were gonna be able to do at all, especially the progility three that right. 00:17:45 Speaker 2: But I remember, right electronic four. 00:17:48 Speaker 6: Or five. 00:17:52 Speaker 2: Honestly, always needed to remember exactly what it was. 00:17:54 Speaker 7: But I know you're ten. 00:17:56 Speaker 11: I think it was a one five one? 00:17:59 Speaker 1: What that me? Funny? It was one four nine one five one. 00:18:04 Speaker 2: One five to one is what he's saying about, because that's what hang on the that's what hung on the wall for the record for the. 00:18:10 Speaker 7: Lea. 00:18:11 Speaker 2: Yeah he was good. 00:18:12 Speaker 1: He was good action but yeah, I mean it, but legit bullshit four. 00:18:19 Speaker 10: Five love Whatever the hell it was, I can't remember. 00:18:23 Speaker 1: Hey, slow it down. The clock doesn't even that's the lore. And then see what I'm talking about, go back. The clock doesn't even start. 00:18:30 Speaker 2: So I think somebody just put that clock there, bro. 00:18:32 Speaker 1: But it stops. Look at this, it stops that that you're already in a full sprint. It's point zero six, like every hundredth of a second matters. 00:18:40 Speaker 2: I appreciate you because we're all having like a nice silly goose time. We love the bus balls. We're laughing at what you could be saying. But I love how you're carrying this with such professionalism, and you remember it, and you're you're a no nonsense guy, So I appreciate you delivering that news for him. I'm not gonna lie about it. It doesn't be absolutely no good. 00:18:58 Speaker 8: And and I'll be honest with it's surprised the sh out. 00:19:01 Speaker 1: Of me too. 00:19:07 Speaker 8: You're the man. 00:19:08 Speaker 2: I love you. I'll call you on my way home. Hey, I love you. 00:19:13 Speaker 1: He's not gonna say right now. Did you hear that? Hey, that's a strength coach right there. He sounded likely. That's yeah, that's solid though, Like I gotta if you can run into four fives, so my pro day, I ran in the four fives as well to handtime. But I don't know if that's an electric time. 00:19:29 Speaker 2: Yeah, handtime, he were he was saying electronic. There were some that popped up one on the hand. 00:19:35 Speaker 1: When I ran at the combine, it was like four or five four four five six, And then when the electronics like four to six, I was like, god, lead like that just jumped back quite considerably. But the ten yards split is what I've always said, like, that's my get off, my acceleration, my burst is always what separate me. And that's the bread butter, especially as a pass rusher. And I was second in the entire combine to Percy Harvin who had a one four eight ten yards no ship, no ship. Yeah, Well was your size? 00:20:00 Speaker 2: What were your measurables? 00:20:01 Speaker 1: I was forty six three and five eights. 00:20:06 Speaker 2: To forty to specimen. 00:20:09 Speaker 1: I don't know. I ain't really care about that stuff. You have to get a combine right here, you have hard measurable Yeah. 00:20:17 Speaker 2: What was your bring up the numbers again? What was your pro agility? 00:20:20 Speaker 1: I did well in the the agilities. 00:20:25 Speaker 2: You only got twenty three reps on twenty five. 00:20:27 Speaker 1: Well, I mean how many? How many did you only get? 00:20:30 Speaker 2: Oh, if you wanted to beat me, you'd had to get twenty four. 00:20:32 Speaker 1: You probably weren't even locking out your elbows, Like I said, I had the coaches on. 00:20:35 Speaker 2: It, I will say I have shorter arms. 00:20:38 Speaker 1: Okay, well that's all right though, Like the bench press is so overrated now. I know this is a whole gimmick you're doing right now, But like, if I can speak candidately, like the bench press, like as long as you don't ship the bed and get like eight to ten reps like you get, you get eighteen twenty twenty five, And then I think there's also something to be said unless you're a line if you're like a linebacker cranking out thirty five reps, like you might be a stiff. 00:21:02 Speaker 2: That might be too That's yeah, that's too much, too much for I would agree with that. 00:21:06 Speaker 1: And then what else? 00:21:06 Speaker 2: What else, bunnies, I did notice that you over ten? Yeah, thirty five. 00:21:12 Speaker 1: I think I was number. It was so Aaron Curry out of wake Forest dominated the combine. He went number three or four of Raw to Seattle. 00:21:22 Speaker 2: Yeah, he was a top ten to top Yeah he was. 00:21:26 Speaker 1: He was like there was no chasing him. We had a great class of outside linebackers like Larry English Cushing me. I think they even threw in Buddy from Tennessee, uh As, Robert Ayres. Yeah, there's there was a Tennessee d n. It might have been Robert Airs. Anyway, it was. It was a good class of outside linebackers. I think I might have went four through. 00:21:49 Speaker 2: It was any part of like were you and Cush, Like, were you guys secretly just competing? 00:21:53 Speaker 1: Like we were always competing. I told that when we sat down, like we're still like he's he's one of my best good friends, but like when we like we were always competing, like who we get drafted first, who get the most tackles, who get the most covers? Just for me, Like he was doing that since he came out of He was that guy coming out of high school. I wasn't Like I kind of came up towards my last year. I played the first game we played Virginia, had a great game, Like, okay, this is a guy late you know, might sneak in the draft fifth to seventh rounder. A couple more games, he might be a third rounder. And then I really benefited from, uh the combine, which I know is going on right now. The pro day, just you know, just flashing. I was like the new girl. You know what I'm saying, Like, Hey, you've been with your girl for four years. You know what she could bring. But you see that one over there with the long blonde hair, You're like, yeah, I need a trade up for this one. 00:22:40 Speaker 2: Long arms, bunnies, you know what I'm saying. 00:22:43 Speaker 1: Yeah, I had good explosive ability, explosive explosively. 00:22:48 Speaker 2: Would you say the combine helped you out a lot? I know there's always you know, you know, you know, players and everybody just in the football universe, there's always a question of does the combine matter that much? 00:22:59 Speaker 1: Listen, I think your game film is truly what matters, especially if you're a starter. And but for me, I think it definitely helped out because I only started ten games, I think eight in my last year, sort of go out there and kind of, you know, put those numbers down that were I think I was, you know, top five and a lot of them. It helped me out in the interview process, I'm sure, you know, getting getting to know somebody, see kind of how they're cut, the cloth they come from, and then position drills as well, just seeing how smooth somebody is. So yeah, I definitely think it helped me out. I met with man, I was, I was. I met with almost every team out there in Indianapolis. 00:23:36 Speaker 2: How nervous were you going to I wasn't. 00:23:38 Speaker 1: I had so much fun. Like listen, you got to understand. I mean you you kind of know this. I know you got recruited out, you know, out of high school. But I was a walk on. I was like a nobody. So now all of a sudden, they're like, yo, clay Ron Rivera from the San Diego Chargers defensive coordinator wants to holler at you. You know, the Saints this that. I don't even think I met with the Packers because they had the ninth overall pick. But like I had a blast doing it too. Plus it was cool just that fraternity. Just being from a football family. Everybody either knew my uncle or dad or this and that, so you know it was I really enjoyed it. 00:24:13 Speaker 2: You felt like you're playing with house money. 00:24:15 Speaker 1: I mean I felt good. I felt confident. 00:24:17 Speaker 2: That's awesome. 00:24:18 Speaker 1: I felt comfortable. 00:24:19 Speaker 2: I was a nervous wreck ond pro day. 00:24:21 Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I was nervous, but like you know, I don't know, you know how it is, You're always nervous. You always got butterflies. Do what you do? I mean, you you were that guy. You were Nebraska MVP. 00:24:33 Speaker 2: H that is factair. 00:24:35 Speaker 1: That guy is fair. I was your special teams MVP. Oh, this was training before I learned how to run on my toes. That's probably why I hit a four six seven. 00:24:43 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:24:44 Speaker 1: Yeah, but the hair was still looking good. I was with my twenty one and now I'm thirty nine. You know what I'm saying. 00:24:52 Speaker 2: Did I was set that? I was so tight? I was so tight when I didn't get invited to the combine. 00:24:58 Speaker 1: You should have been I was so tight, bro, you probably. 00:25:02 Speaker 2: Should have gone for a minute. 00:25:04 Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. 00:25:05 Speaker 2: Well, I still went undrafted, but maybe you could have. If I would have got maybe I would have been part of the combine group. Like the number of guys, what teams? 00:25:14 Speaker 1: What teams wanted you. 00:25:16 Speaker 2: Like post draft? Yeah, like the fre agency or. 00:25:18 Speaker 1: Did anyone talk to you before, like your agents saying hey, if you don't get drafted, we'd love to have you. 00:25:22 Speaker 2: So the San Diego Chargers call the second day early, just talking about being interested, not like drafting me or anything like that. But in my brain I'm like, oh shit, Chargers might get me in one of these picks. This day two, they'd have drafted Manti tale that that that the top of the second day because Tao has fallen to the beginning of the second round. Yeah, and then throughout the process it was Washington, called Vikings, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in the Chicago Bears, those of the teams that were kind of like reaching out, especially like toward the end of the draft. 00:26:03 Speaker 1: How'd you end up going to the Redskins? They offered the most money? Did you felt? Like? 00:26:07 Speaker 2: My agent called me and said you're going to be a Washington Redskin like I like once once the draft got over, like he he called me, told me, hey, here are the teams that are interested. I was very much like, man, it would be sick to go to Tampa. I was even telling him it'd be cool to go to Tampa because Levonte is there, playing with Levonte again. And then he called me back within five minutes like, congratulates, you're going to be Washing Redskins five thousand dollars signing bonus. The others are twenty five hundred. So we took the Washington Do you the money? Man? 00:26:34 Speaker 1: Do you wish in hindsight of those teams like and we're just playing the game now, like maybe if you went to Chicago, you could have been one of those monsters. 00:26:42 Speaker 8: Of the Midway. 00:26:43 Speaker 1: You went. Yeah, maybe you could have played you know, yeah, like what do you wish or like it is what it is. 00:26:48 Speaker 2: I do wish I would have got to play with Levonte again. I think that did he go to Nebraska Lavonte? Yeah, yeah, he was a jucocat. He came for two years, and after his two years, he's like in the top three and times of all time in Nebraska within two years of playing. Yeah, dudes, I mean he's he's still doing. He's a monster. 00:27:05 Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a monster. 00:27:07 Speaker 2: But that would have been sick to play with him. Chicago would have just been cool just because of like a vicinity, like not going too far away, because Nebraska was like seven eight hours away from home, which was nice, and then like going on the coast, like I was nervous about that just because completely new territory, new environment. But yeah, I mean I wouldn't Obviously I loved the career that I had, but if I if I got to choose, it would have been like Tampa Bay just because of Lavante playing with Levonte again. 00:27:33 Speaker 1: I thought you went there just because they were called the Redskins, just knowing how much of a racist he was like, yeah, yeah. 00:27:42 Speaker 2: We're joking. We like the buzz balls on the bar. 00:27:44 Speaker 1: Yeah, joking. 00:27:49 Speaker 2: No, I got a question. 00:27:50 Speaker 12: What portion of the combine would the average American struggle the most with? 00:27:56 Speaker 2: Like the average American, Yeah, just like your. 00:27:58 Speaker 12: Most middle of the road athletic American, just the most average guy out there. What portion of the combine are they struggling with the most? Where are they gonna really have the wall they gotta climb over? 00:28:10 Speaker 1: Well, I would say bench, there's probably a handful that probably couldn't even do two twenty five. 00:28:15 Speaker 2: Yeah, I would take naturally get buried. Look like, oh boy, did you see that clipbe viral? No, dude took off four five? 00:28:23 Speaker 8: Yeah, took it. 00:28:23 Speaker 2: Off the racket. It just collapsed his risk. Is that what happened? 00:28:28 Speaker 12: Yeah, if you go look at it, you'll see his wrist snap and then that like snaps that, but the bar slips out of him. You can see them been backwards and it falls straight on his sternament. 00:28:36 Speaker 2: Do we know what the kids? Okay? 00:28:38 Speaker 1: I think so, but but who cares? Viral? So like you know, they you cut you just whenever people get hurt. You just cut the video and you're like and you get a good laugh. 00:28:45 Speaker 2: Yeah, but bro, yeah it works right, no, no doubt, no doubt, like we had our phone. But part of me is like, I wonder how he turned out like that bar damn near caved into his spine. 00:28:57 Speaker 1: Bro. I'm also getting to the point in like life where like, why are you doing so much weight? Like you never need to do that much weight on the bench press, but this is a high schooler even more so, like you know, yeah, he's trying to be you. 00:29:09 Speaker 2: Bro, I understand there was how driven you were trying to put weight on the bar. 00:29:12 Speaker 1: There's a fine line between pushing yourself and just doing too much. But maybe he's I mean, when you got that risk, are good? 00:29:21 Speaker 8: Good? 00:29:21 Speaker 1: He just lost he just lost control. 00:29:22 Speaker 2: He's good, He's good in that proper proper spot walk it off, big guy. 00:29:26 Speaker 12: Who's it faultmore here though the guy's egos thinking he could do four twenty five or his friends not properly spotting him. 00:29:33 Speaker 2: Yeah, on the side of the on. 00:29:36 Speaker 1: The but's on the marketven when you're there, like you know, to catch it like that, I feel like that's darn. 00:29:41 Speaker 2: You wouldn't have caught it, but you'd have still been there to help absorb a little bit, because you know, when you're maxing out, when when you're when you got there, when you're going after it, you got Yeah, you got three spotters there. 00:29:51 Speaker 8: I feel like that because. 00:29:53 Speaker 5: When you are max you're like, let me get it myself. 00:29:57 Speaker 8: You know what I mean. 00:29:58 Speaker 2: But he wasn't even in that, Like it just it was a free fall that I feel like, you're not ready as a spotterer though, Like when he takes it off, you're expecting him to at least get it down and struggle. You're not expecting that thing to just crush. But you're still You're still around. 00:30:09 Speaker 5: It could have helped a little. 00:30:13 Speaker 2: Yeah, but man, I hope he's hope he's okay. That's a broken Oh it's broken something shattered lungs right Like that's four hundred pounds free falling. Like there was no eccentric or anything. It just dropped on him. It just dropped on him. 00:30:33 Speaker 1: What I was just gonna say, you go back to these numbers and you you're flying on the. 00:30:39 Speaker 2: Forty Yeah, I was aboard with motion. 00:30:43 Speaker 1: How did that translate to the NFL? Game kickoff, I was great. 00:30:50 Speaker 2: But no, I was a flowbacker on kickoff. That's why That's why I say clean take better tester than Clay Matthews. 00:31:00 Speaker 1: I don't know better better numbers. 00:31:04 Speaker 2: Claim Matthews. Like, let's just call a spade a spade. My four five wasn't translating at old times on the football field, I can. I'm an old dog. It's I'm thirty six, it's over. I just got a deck the last week. I'm twenty seven percent body fat, over six hundred grams of visceral fat. Like I got some work to do. 00:31:21 Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, So when I sat down and pulled my belt up. 00:31:25 Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, these pants either those pants where I got the I got the smallest bulls like, I don't got nothing. I got a small Peter fat. 00:31:32 Speaker 1: Dudes, but I'll call it lose some weight. I would be looking like, there's that. See I just started a night in the Seven Kingdoms. At the beginning of episode two, g O t living up to their reputation. It's just showing dog all the time, right out of the gates. WHOA, I was in bed with my wife's turning a little bit. That's not real, way, are you? Yeah? 00:31:56 Speaker 2: That's too much, right, But yeah, my four or five, I wasn't running a four or five speed on kickoff, flying down. Now, I was head hunting, but I was a flowbacker. So you have the faster cats, ID sen it enough for you. Yeah? Yeah, if I was at the L four, you need the three to be the guy that kind of goes in front of me, not stack him. 00:32:15 Speaker 1: I was an L four. I think I was like an L four L three. 00:32:18 Speaker 2: See, then I'd be the five. If you were a four and you were humming faster than yeah, I'd be a five and be like you're the you go see you go seat ball, get ball, and I'm flowing off. I'm kind of reading I see. 00:32:27 Speaker 1: That's what I love to an inside back or two haven't played, you know, on the D line, so to speak, Like understand how my zero three and five tech worked. 00:32:34 Speaker 2: I'm like, just go be decisive, be decided. 00:32:37 Speaker 1: Off athlete where I'm gonna read off, you don't worry about you know what I'm saying. That's why guys like eighty, I mean, now they're Aaron Donald, incredibly gifted to do what they do, but just you know, being decisive if they're hitting back doors. He's even JJ Watt like, just be decisive. 00:32:50 Speaker 2: Right right, just make a move. Yeah back, let you hunt. And the minute I see whatever the block is, I'm trying to scrape off that. Dude's ball hit ball. 00:32:57 Speaker 5: Shame we never got to see that in the league, man, both. 00:32:59 Speaker 2: Of us together, Oh being Clay, imagine him. 00:33:04 Speaker 1: And then in twenty nineteen, who were you with? Because I was free agab the Raiders. I should have signed with the Raiders two thousand. 00:33:14 Speaker 5: It would have been nice on the Raiders. 00:33:16 Speaker 8: Damn. 00:33:17 Speaker 1: We probably won like three or four games. 00:33:18 Speaker 2: Dude, us in the silver and black number one. Their unis go so hard they do, but you with the flow going, what do you mean three. 00:33:25 Speaker 6: To four games plus three to four games? 00:33:29 Speaker 2: What happened? 00:33:30 Speaker 5: Only won three or four games with the Raiders. 00:33:32 Speaker 2: And leave them to the playoffs. Yeah, we were We were at a sinker year. 00:33:36 Speaker 1: Was that when Carr until he broke his ankle, like they were rolling, the Raiders were rolling. 00:33:41 Speaker 2: That was before me, that was before, but this one right here, this was twenty twenty one. I believe when I got there it was sink or swim like that's when they fired grooding and they needed somebody to come in and help right the ship and get us to the playoffs. That was you, Yeah, a couple of double teams on kickoff return. Ko R just eating a doubt. 00:33:59 Speaker 6: Look that it was fun though that that was a year mentoring Max Crosby. 00:34:05 Speaker 2: Yeah, mentoring Max Crosby. Absolutely. That was a year too because JP and a couple of the boys came out to Vegas and that was one where I was like that year because that was the last year I played. That was one where I was like, I am playing with house money. That was one where I was like, I just loved playing and being around everybody because I knew that this was it right. 00:34:27 Speaker 1: That's why I had nice last year. Sorry twenty twenty one. 00:34:31 Speaker 2: Yeah, I got cut twice in one week on that year. Damn got cut. There's a snow There was like a snowstorm in Nashville, so my flight got delayed so I couldn't fly out that day. Next morning, I wake up to go ahead to my flight. Pisachi's on the phone. He's like, Hey, are you still in town. I was like yeah. He's like, somebody popped for COVID. He's like, would you want to He's like and now look we are. We gave you this week's pay, like they did. They did right by me. They gave me this week's pay. They waited to cut me on Wednesday, so that way I got the week. You would essentially be playing for free, But would you want to play? 00:35:02 Speaker 1: And I was like hell yeah, hell yeah. 00:35:05 Speaker 2: It was the winning get in game against the Chargers. And then right after we beat the Chargers, it was Hey, if I had control the roster, you'd still be with us in the playoffs? 00:35:13 Speaker 1: Is that Bisachia is? Is that who just left the Packers? He was the Packers special teams coordinator. 00:35:18 Speaker 2: Did he leave the Packers? 00:35:20 Speaker 8: Yeah? 00:35:20 Speaker 2: Dang yeah. 00:35:21 Speaker 1: Was there any reason why you just said he was just taking a leave? 00:35:24 Speaker 2: It was his life. 00:35:27 Speaker 1: Well, the Packers special teams have. 00:35:29 Speaker 2: Been they've been tough. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, as far as results go and everything else, Basacia is a goom. Yeah, he's a beast man. He's a fucking he's a leader. He's a leader. He's a good one. He's a good one. But yeah, Bisachi was the interim head coach. And then after that year because when they fired Cruden, that was when they were having like a solid year. We ended up winning a lot of games on the back half to where he was up for the head coaching job, and then that that's when they went and got McDaniels. Right then when McDaniels gets fired in the middle of the year, then they hired Pierce. Yeah, Antonio, Antonio Pierce, because they were in another situation of do we hire the unim head coach that he just won the back half of the year. Not to make this a big Raiders podcast, who they taking in the first overall? Fornao Mendoza for Nado Mendoza. But some now, yeah, some some, some Las Vegas Raiders are right there. 00:36:20 Speaker 1: Well you you got a brick, right, don't you get a brick? 00:36:23 Speaker 2: Yeah? 00:36:23 Speaker 1: For the Raiders. 00:36:24 Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, they're alumni, they're alumni club whatever. They're the best in the league. They still send meself on Christmas on my birthday. 00:36:31 Speaker 1: Dude, I'm boys with Donald Penn. I haven't seen him in walk because we used to train in California tackle play for Tampa and then the Raiders. But yeah, he's always it seems like he's more of a Raider. I don't know how long he played with the with the two teams than he is a buck, but I always see he's got like a brick that he posts and he's always going to like Raiders alumni, if you played on the squad, you have a brick at their new stadium. Well even even when they hired a new coach, you had like, uh, Charles White, I think Charles White or uh Charles Woodson. Man, I'm forgetting. I'm disgracing myself to USC. But all all those great Raiders, there's like three great Raiders that were behind how we long behind their new coach that they hire. 00:37:13 Speaker 2: Because their fan base is incredible, their organization as far as like their alumni association taking care of guys like they're communicating with guys essentially all year round. They're the only ones that kind of out of the three teams I played for, that follow up and do. 00:37:26 Speaker 1: So when you were tired and who did you retire? What organizations you retire? 00:37:30 Speaker 2: As a rad I just retired a man of the NFL, you know what I mean? 00:37:35 Speaker 1: Yeah, just journeyman. 00:37:37 Speaker 5: You still got a one day waiting for you. 00:37:39 Speaker 2: When whoever wants to sign me for a one day contract, Yeah, I'm up for I'm up for grabs, but I'm a man of the I'm a man of the shield, you know what I mean? 00:37:48 Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, protect the shield, protect shield at all costs. 00:37:55 Speaker 2: What other other storylines I felt like was coming out of the combine, Uh, coach Glenn Aaron Glynn sleep you see him get caught to me, I'm like, you know, that's a that's a the year you're. 00:38:05 Speaker 1: There for this? Yeah, we we this all happened. W we were sitting in meetings too, and coach was talking. It's just it's a bad look when you're on camera, especially with everything that's coming out of that organization in light of recent years. Like it's not a good look. But the reality is like I don't think anybody really cares, although I will say they do have the second overall pick and they're watching like pass rushers, like yeah, maybe just you know, fall asleep. 00:38:26 Speaker 2: Just knowing that a coach Glenn, the microscope is on you at all times. Yeah, gotta be prepared. Because his reaction was fun. It was fun to show him on TV. Let's see if the camera is still on me, old camera still on me, let's dial it. 00:38:38 Speaker 1: I bet you the cameraman was a Patriots fans. That's what I like he's gotten. 00:38:46 Speaker 2: Look at this this flow right here. What's this young man's name? I know he's out of Iowa. 00:38:51 Speaker 1: Going with the red hair mullet. Yeah, unbelievable. 00:38:54 Speaker 2: Do we know his name? I forget his man. 00:38:58 Speaker 1: Whenever those videos, but don't know his name? 00:39:01 Speaker 2: Yeah? 00:39:01 Speaker 6: Yeah, dude, have you ever seen that? Have you guys ever seen that one coach? He coaches up like middle school in high school alignment and he just tears into these kids like get your. 00:39:11 Speaker 5: Hips moving, like yeah. 00:39:14 Speaker 6: And bro, these kids are horrible. And all I could picture watching that video is that guy's voice underneath it. 00:39:19 Speaker 5: You gotta know. 00:39:20 Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sure I've seen I'm sure I've seen that stuff. 00:39:22 Speaker 12: Jennings dunker is his names Dunkerle? 00:39:27 Speaker 1: What a name? That mop alone? 00:39:31 Speaker 2: You'll get some kind of deal. I mean yeah, head shoulders. 00:39:34 Speaker 1: That was Troy. 00:39:35 Speaker 2: Oh, which one were you? 00:39:38 Speaker 1: I was swave. 00:39:40 Speaker 2: Just so so so head and shoulders bringing a beef right now? 00:39:44 Speaker 3: No? 00:39:44 Speaker 1: No, no, no, well beef between the two parent companies between Unilever and Procter and Gamble. 00:39:49 Speaker 2: Okay, so like so. 00:39:50 Speaker 1: They own a number No I remember, Like it's just you're either you're either in bed with one or the other, and eventually I got back in good graces with Procter and Gamble. Okay, yeah, because if you're like a Unilever guy or Procter and gone. 00:40:03 Speaker 2: How quickly did you get a deal with this shower company? 00:40:09 Speaker 1: With the shower company? I think heading into I want to say, going in my second year, like after my rookie year, because there was a dope like, you know, you have to be an NFL paid sponsor endorser in order to you know, show the show the uh you know, the Packers logo or whatever it is. But we had just won the Super Bowl and it was it was from Swave and it was like a full page I'm gonna say, like New York Times says, congratulations, you know Clay Matthews, you are head and shoulders. 00:40:39 Speaker 8: Above the rest. 00:40:41 Speaker 1: And it was me just like flexing on all like big yeah with big Swave bottles and stuff. They got a cease and desist, but hey, it's over hand and shoulders above the rest. 00:40:50 Speaker 2: Already been made. 00:40:51 Speaker 1: Yeah, damage was done. 00:40:52 Speaker 2: Yeah, man, that's awesome. I could see him getting like, it's crazy to meet some of the kids that go like into the league already have something that's like defining them because that dude's clearly it's his hair like he knows and he knows it. 00:41:04 Speaker 1: It's awesome. Yeah. Now we had uh, we have muscle. I had Muscle Milk too, Muscle Milk. Uh, I had it. Everywhere there was a Bible, there was muscle Milk. I had my walk on T shirt before Michael Chandler. You know, I had to. I had to walk on. But we got some good money out of that. And they're good USC people. 00:41:22 Speaker 5: Yeah, Matthews, Muscle Milk math. 00:41:26 Speaker 1: So yeah, you see this like right here, like Muscle Milk, Like they're not a league sponsor, so you kind of have to, you know, like you can't make it look too much like the packers, right. 00:41:34 Speaker 2: Just the colors default give me strength to blitz faster, to stop the past, to win all muscle Milk. I love that, dude. 00:41:44 Speaker 1: I love muscle Milk. You just shout out Muscle Milk, always shout outs for life. They got it, they got something new coming out. 00:41:54 Speaker 2: Oh I shoot him the clips just once. 00:41:57 Speaker 4: You guys know, that was a great shoot right there, sang Bill Withers right there filming that was that for That might have been from Muscle bil You were you. 00:42:08 Speaker 2: Ever feel like you got what's up? You ever feel like you got caught up too much in the fame? 00:42:19 Speaker 1: No, I think I maximized it. I think right when I came in is when they started getting athletes. Athletes were moving into that that realm whatever you want to call it doing. But it was mainly like power Balance, Nike, Muscle Milk, you know, stuff like that. But you're watching Movie Star. 00:42:41 Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. When you did the movie, the Magic Mike movie, that's. 00:42:45 Speaker 1: I wish I did Magic Mike, brother, that's a great movie. 00:42:48 Speaker 6: The first one, perfect Magic Mike was what they offered you Will. 00:42:53 Speaker 2: Channing Tatum pitch Perfect, like when you did pitch Perfect? 00:42:56 Speaker 1: Were you kind of see But I wouldn't even clamoring for that. I have already spoken on this. I don't want to repeat myself about how it came to be. But the offensive lineman for the Packers were like the biggest Pitch Perfect fans, and I might have seen it, might not have. I was like, oh cool, it's like this fun acapella movie. And then they were like dming Elizabeth Banks, who I think her husband or and maybe her produced the movie, and somehow her husband was a fan and they wanted us in the second one, and so they sent a script. I'm like, no way, this is real. The David Baktiar, he was the one spearheading it. And next thing you know, we're down in some Shreveport maybe in Louisiana for like three days recording and filming. It was a lot of fun. It was cool. It's just a different world. And we went to the premiere we all slouched down in our seats because we were so embarrassed, like singing bootylicious. 00:43:44 Speaker 2: But I love it. 00:43:45 Speaker 1: I have more people calling to me now and be like I saw you in Pitch Perfect than they do like I saw you in a super Bowl. I don't care about that anymore. This a Hollywood lives on forever. 00:43:53 Speaker 5: Yeah, is there anything you said no to that you wish you would have said yes too? Looking back now. 00:43:58 Speaker 1: But the one thing that I've known though, is like even with the show, is like I always tried to be aware of my brand, like what and I do think authenticity sells. This is why like Gronkowski and Marshawn Lynch, they are who they are, but but they sell I think I like y'all, you know, like Orro what is it Orro or stuff, like he'd be like the Row, Like there's some stuff where you can't do that. But it's like, you know, there was nothing I really said no to. Maybe maybe there was, but maybe it never got to me. 00:44:28 Speaker 2: But you know, there's something you were trying to get but you didn't get. 00:44:33 Speaker 1: I wanted to be head and shoulders like opposite with Troy, but then it was like they went to Odell after Like I thought it would be perfect, like because he had the black hair, I had the blonde hair. You know, I thought I thought it was just it was easy marketing, but uh. 00:44:48 Speaker 2: Not, I don't. 00:44:49 Speaker 1: I don't think Carhart. Carhart sent me some stuff. They they've been good to me. Uh they sent me some stuff. 00:44:56 Speaker 5: I only worked with Riley Green. 00:44:59 Speaker 1: I gotta be a music yeah, and hey, I'm pop and just. 00:45:03 Speaker 2: A sex pistol dude. He's such a good looking dude like that. That just is what it is. 00:45:07 Speaker 1: Yeah, but can he operate a chainsaw? 00:45:10 Speaker 5: He's sponsored by Cat. 00:45:12 Speaker 1: He fell it damn Cat. Yeah, that's what I want. Like I'm in the phase of that of my life now where like I could get a tractor. Shout out John Deere, Caboda. You know, anyone else's watch him? 00:45:23 Speaker 2: You know, no Riley Green's and man's man. You might be thinking it. Could he be too much of a pretty boy to swing a chainsaw like that's it, that's it. 00:45:31 Speaker 5: He was doing construction before he got famous. 00:45:34 Speaker 1: Like I was watching you and Hawaii like do cannonballs, and I'm over there chopping up I'm chopping up firewood in the backyard, you know, so like you talk about a man's man, I'm just like I feel like, you know, I told my wife she's lucky, you know what I'm saying. I remind her all the time she married a man. 00:45:51 Speaker 2: I did the same thing. Yes, I got them putting that wall mount up in the garage. Brother, you. 00:45:58 Speaker 1: Can't use those anchors. Those anchors will not hold those little plastic anchors you tap in. I'm telling you right now, that's trash. 00:46:04 Speaker 2: That's what That's what the instructions told me to do. 00:46:05 Speaker 1: Okay, charm, did you get this man a stud finder? Okay? 00:46:10 Speaker 2: I got one in my new little toolkit too that the builder gave me. Is it too, Willie? One show congratulator in your first tool set. 00:46:18 Speaker 1: Okay, you gotta find the studs first. You always want to anchor into some studs. Okay, the drywall will not hold. 00:46:25 Speaker 2: Anytime I tell But the stud is the the board. 00:46:29 Speaker 1: The board you were talking about the thick like I couldn't even understand what you were talking. 00:46:33 Speaker 2: When you're studs are the two by. 00:46:35 Speaker 1: Fours in the wall. They go up and down vertical. 00:46:37 Speaker 2: Listen when you're building ship and you're going through and you're trying to find it by hitting the and then you feel the that's a stud. 00:46:45 Speaker 5: That's a stud. 00:46:46 Speaker 1: But you should probably well, that's why you got to get the stud finder because sometimes it could be electrical in there. 00:46:52 Speaker 2: You don't see some comments about some electrical and then somebody else's bobby back, it ain't happening in Nashville. This ain't no Northeast bullshit. 00:46:59 Speaker 1: He said, I saw your body bag of grandma in the first comment year old. 00:47:05 Speaker 2: She has to get it. 00:47:06 Speaker 1: Yeah, well, how to hang a shelf? 00:47:08 Speaker 2: Yeah? 00:47:09 Speaker 1: Did you have a level Did you have a leveler? 00:47:11 Speaker 2: Yeah? 00:47:12 Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you gotta have a. 00:47:13 Speaker 2: Good like a like a magnetic one. We're all put it on and like magnetized to the. 00:47:17 Speaker 1: Do you have different. But you gotta have different sizes too, depending on the length of you know, forty eight inches seventy two get you a small one magnetized. 00:47:23 Speaker 2: Talking about a leveler, Yeah, I just put one on each on each one. 00:47:28 Speaker 1: When on the little bubble ones they give you the. 00:47:30 Speaker 2: One that came in my tool set. 00:47:32 Speaker 1: Milwaukee, great city, Yeah, out of Wisconsin. 00:47:37 Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, I got the power drills, I got the ruler, the tape measure. 00:47:42 Speaker 1: It looks it looks like I'm worry with the wear and tear of you picking up and putting the shovel on and whatever. The broom you have that over time is gonna get a little loose. 00:47:51 Speaker 2: Now why is that? Because that's what came in the box. 00:47:53 Speaker 1: It doesn't matter what came in the box. You've got to know how to affix this tool holder to the wall. It's part of being a man's man. 00:48:01 Speaker 2: Okay, I down, listen. I'm down to say. I haven't been a man's man thought the course of my life, and I'm learning to be a fucking man's man. But you gotta instead of talking down to me and discrediting the work, should I just put in on that garage because it stuff's hanging right now, And it's hanging fine. But what are you talking about? Like when I put in them little plastic things, it's the drivewall goes straight through. Like, Okay, the screw's not gonna go in right here. I need something to fit it. 00:48:26 Speaker 1: Get it? 00:48:26 Speaker 2: What do I put in? 00:48:27 Speaker 1: Okay, get a better anchor, one that, like I wouldn't know the terminology for right now, one that kind of flaze in the back and pulls up against the drywall, that holds fifty to seventy five pounds. Maybe they got a seventy five to one hundred, just a little bit more a wear and tear, a little stronger. That way, your bolt's gonna be a little stronger. So a little longer, a little stronger. 00:48:45 Speaker 2: I don't know what Surem's doing. I'll do so you're giving me game within the game. Hey, whatever comes whatever like little tools or whatever comes with the set, don't use this. I need to get my own shit. Yes, go down to ACE Hardware, no free shot at says hardware, and get my own like anchors that would go in. 00:49:04 Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the of the the plastic ones you put in the wall, like the ones that you. You know, you drill five as inch hole, you kind of tap in the plastic. They just they either go all the way through, you end up stripping the plastic because you're tightening it too tight or you can't get it tight enough. 00:49:18 Speaker 2: But you're giving me game right now. I didn't know that there's other. 00:49:21 Speaker 1: I wish you would come to me and ask for help. 00:49:23 Speaker 2: Well, that's why I ask the internet. Sometimes you got to You gotta show the failure in front of them. I can be the butt of the joke. They can all laugh and oh, screws nails. I didn't know what I was talking about, but next time, and next time I will if it's something serious. I'm thinking, I'm hanging out this little wall mount. Yeah, I can figure this out. All these little packages of screws. 00:49:41 Speaker 1: And every experience is the best teacher. So I'm glad you took it upon yourself to do it. 00:49:44 Speaker 2: Now, let me ask you this, Yes, sir, when it is a stud yeah, the thick part, you don't don't need nothing nothing. That's where you just go the screw right through that. 00:49:53 Speaker 1: Now, if you're doing, if you're doing, if you're hanging something really heavy, you gotta get some blocking in between those two by fours. Okay, so horizontal, don't just say things all right, Okay. 00:50:05 Speaker 2: Don'ty's blocking in there? All right? 00:50:08 Speaker 1: We take our garage organization seriously. Yeah, yeah, there's nothing worse than the garage or stuff you're sitting in the corner. I want to have the walls on. Wait till you get the bikes on the ceilings. 00:50:18 Speaker 2: That is what I'm looking into next. Now I don't have a lot of bikes. I just got ruse bike, but I do want to hang it because I hate seeing the clutter all around the grove. 00:50:26 Speaker 1: Well, you know what I bought us. I just bought like a bike stand, you know, like ones you'd have at the school. Since we got a few children at the house, Like we just put mom and Dad's bikes and the three just in that. It just keeps a little tidier than putting it on the ceiling, because then you're always gonna have to get it down. 00:50:40 Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, send us a picture of your garage. 00:50:42 Speaker 5: We'll put it up. 00:50:43 Speaker 1: We're moving right now, but I could. 00:50:44 Speaker 2: Yeah, we need a picture of Clay matthews garage. 00:50:47 Speaker 1: Is you did you get the ground fixed? Like you can't just have bare concrete, right, Oh, I got. 00:50:52 Speaker 2: The what is it? 00:50:53 Speaker 8: Yeah? 00:50:54 Speaker 2: Well is it called crexy or hipoxy? 00:50:56 Speaker 1: That's hypoxy hypoxy hypoxia like a mount everest E with an e epoxy. 00:51:03 Speaker 2: I got some epoxy. You talk about the flooring, Ryeah, looks good. 00:51:07 Speaker 1: Throw a little chip on it. 00:51:08 Speaker 2: Because sore Necks is coming in later this month. I'll have the rubber down on one side, but we'll get the I'm. 00:51:13 Speaker 1: Gonna need to talk to you with my wife, says I got. I got the dumbbells. They're just they're sticking out too far. I got five to one hundred and five pounds increment. She wants a vertical, uh, you know, to because the space is a little tight in the. 00:51:26 Speaker 2: Gym right now. 00:51:27 Speaker 1: She doesn't like how it's It's it's taking up too much, too much of a footprint. Okay, So I need sore next to come through. Help the kid out. 00:51:34 Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, we can get that worked on. 00:51:36 Speaker 8: Yeah. 00:51:36 Speaker 1: I'd hate to go to rogue, you know, and get something that rogue. 00:51:40 Speaker 2: No rogue. 00:51:41 Speaker 1: I'm just saying like, I'd hate to do that. 00:51:44 Speaker 2: No rogue, communist, do rogue. You want a full blooded American? 00:51:53 Speaker 1: So many shout outs. I love this. You guys just sit here and say what you like and then they'll just come to you and just give you stuff. This is great. This is the whole point of that I have the podcast. 00:52:00 Speaker 2: But yeah, I was gonna say this is podcasting, like we just we said around and bullshit, like we got a phenomenal Russell Wilson interview coming up. Then I'm sure whoever's tapped in, Like, since. 00:52:10 Speaker 1: I wasn't a part of it, can I I know the viewers have to wait. I don't want to how to go? What are we talking about his entire career getting there as like a third rounder, beating out Matt Flynn who they gave a bunch of money to. 00:52:22 Speaker 2: We didn't have a super Bowl, we only had in the past. Yep, we only had forty five minutes with him. But I walked away from that interview having a new perspective and appreciate. Yeah, yeah, respect for Russell Wilson. Clect that I didn't have any But he even called us on. He's like, I know you guys have talked shit on me, Clay. 00:52:42 Speaker 12: How long in this interview of forty five minutes do you think it took Will Compton to bring up that he picked off Russell Wilson. How many minutes in do you think? 00:52:52 Speaker 1: And there's a forty five minute I mean probably three and a half to five minutes. 00:52:59 Speaker 5: On the knows three and a half it was. 00:53:01 Speaker 12: I think it was three minutes in in my time, cause I have three minutes. 00:53:05 Speaker 2: So you're one of my three. 00:53:07 Speaker 8: Yeah, that's what you just one of my three. And then Cool. 00:53:13 Speaker 2: Something said something he tries saying he like juked me or something like that, but maybe who knows. 00:53:18 Speaker 5: He And in the clip, I just I made it. 00:53:21 Speaker 6: And then it just kind of goes into some of your highlights against the against the Seahawks, and you have this nice tackle on Beast Mode that not a lot of people are talking about. You found, Yeah, you found that left foot, clipped his ankle down. 00:53:38 Speaker 5: Nobody else got him. 00:53:39 Speaker 8: He just. 00:53:41 Speaker 1: I don't know what the script is, but who for the show? But who? I love having this conversation. Who was the most difficult running back for you to tackle? 00:53:51 Speaker 7: Because you mode it was. 00:53:56 Speaker 2: Look look look up running back for the Browns into two thousand and white fourteen or sixteen Hitlis No, no, no, Crowell, You're. 00:54:05 Speaker 12: Really gonna sit here and not say Melvin Gordon. 00:54:08 Speaker 5: He didn't put his hands on him. 00:54:10 Speaker 2: Yeah. I couldn't get my hands on Devil Gordon to know, but I would. But I would say, like as far as like feeling it, it was Croell and Chubb, the dudes from the Browns like free trunks he has for legs. You felt that as you're like slipping down the. 00:54:27 Speaker 1: Tackle we played, I mean obviously playing in the NFC North like Adrian Peterson I say, was by far the best back I've ever played against. You could do it all. They didn't really passed to him out of the backfield, but like he could. He could hit the perimeter, you know, he could be patient and then getting them he will run you over, hurdle you. It was incredible. But uh, money, Marsh, I'm sure. 00:54:48 Speaker 2: Because you face AP two like in his heyday. I never fortunately never had to go against Well. 00:54:54 Speaker 1: Yeah, he was a dog. But Marshawn, Marshawn, he was tough to bring down. 00:55:00 Speaker 2: Yeah, Marshawn was tough, Marsh. 00:55:01 Speaker 1: You catch him in the hall and he was just shoot already and you're trying to get him down. He just wouldn't go down. He was just he's probably the most difficult for me to get down. 00:55:09 Speaker 2: Yeah, but the couple I remember just like falling down and like just remembering the feeling. It was like Croell and Nick Chubb. 00:55:17 Speaker 1: Interesting. What about quarterbacks to sack? Which one was your most difficult? 00:55:21 Speaker 2: I mean I only had one, Sam Bradford. 00:55:26 Speaker 5: Who'd you get closer to? 00:55:28 Speaker 1: That was your sack? Sam Bradford? 00:55:30 Speaker 2: Yeah, that was my one. Sag he didn't move, no, not I hit the dab and everything. I had big players, a massive celebration. Uh who did I get close to? I don't know, none of them. I always hated being like a free runner because I always felt like they could just they could like make a move. I don't do you know what I'm talking about. They kind of know that you're coming. 00:55:57 Speaker 1: Well, I'll tell you what get tackled. 00:56:00 Speaker 2: He But it's like, but when you're getting coached on it, it's like, oh, take away the upfield or you got to approach them this way, And it's just like, bro. 00:56:07 Speaker 1: What makes you a great tackler in the box, especially on quarterbacks pass rushers breaking down, you know, taking away their upfield. There's a there's a technique to tackling quarterbacks and not just you know, selling out and missing lowering your you know, path level, like you actually want to grab them, almost like a lion takes down its prey. You want to like jump on their back and bring them down. But I hated open field tackles because my whole life was past rushing. So you're in this little box. Everything's quick twitch, you're you know, you're trying to grab people, you're working off fights, and then you're an open field and you're like. 00:56:40 Speaker 2: Yeah, because then when you get off a block, you're you're relatively close to the quarterback, you. 00:56:45 Speaker 1: Like shoot your shot, You're like, nah, you got to break down. Then you get embarrassed and you're like where's my health at? 00:56:50 Speaker 8: Yeah? 00:56:50 Speaker 2: Or you break down too much in your feet stop and yeah, they're pausing the footage right there. I feel you, bro, who's your hardest who's your hardest quarterback? 00:56:59 Speaker 1: To say, a big Ben big Band wore such a baggy jersey that if you could hold onto it you could get him down. But probably cam cam or cam cam was tough. I missed like a few sacks on him. Yeah, he was just so big. 00:57:19 Speaker 2: Yeah, just a stunt of an athlete. 00:57:22 Speaker 1: Just strugg I got after. I got it after Mike vic a few times. That's awesome. Yeah, Mike Vick. He and forgive me because, like I said, I know I was a guest. But in Week one in twenty ten, we were playing the Philadelphia Eagles in there, Kelly Green uniform uniforms and and Kevin Cobb was a quarterback, and I, you know, I get a sack on him. He hits his head on the turf, and then Mike Vick comes in and dude, this guy went off on us like that. That set up Mike Vick to get his payday and to be the starting quarterback. We ended up seeing him in the playoffs. 00:57:59 Speaker 8: So I got. 00:58:02 Speaker 1: One sack on him then and I got another sack on him in the playoffs. But just chasing him was a nightmare. I mean he was and I grew up watching this guy. You know what I'm saying. It was like this. I was I'm not sacked in one time, something like, you know, help them all up and saying with Brett Farr, I mean he wasn't obviously the athlete, but I was always helping him. I just I had a level of respect and appreciation for. 00:58:24 Speaker 2: A lot of the guys, did you play Madden growing up? 00:58:27 Speaker 1: I was a two K guy, a dreamcast, a game Cast. 00:58:31 Speaker 2: Two K was nice once upon a time. 00:58:33 Speaker 1: You got the reference. 00:58:33 Speaker 2: Yeah, two K was nice one aun of time. But I'm remembering what was it Madden No for when Vic was just yeah nasty. 00:58:42 Speaker 5: He inspired a whole generation of young sports fans. 00:58:45 Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah he did too, Yes, Clay, sorry just saying that, man, No, he was. Yeah, he was always very complimentary. Uh quiet, but just a stud back. 00:58:59 Speaker 8: Yeah. 00:58:59 Speaker 6: I don't think it's talked enough, like the fact that he was able to just be away from the league for two years and then come back and bring a team to the playoffs, Like that's insane. 00:59:08 Speaker 1: I I just saw something where he still has the fastest forty time of all quarterbacks. 00:59:13 Speaker 2: Really. 00:59:14 Speaker 1: Yeah, I think there was a quarterback who ran the fastest over the weekend. Oh yeah, but they were mentioned like Mike vig Ram making it up four to three, not something crazy like that, which is wild. 00:59:23 Speaker 2: Yeah, there was a cat that ran. 00:59:25 Speaker 5: Taylor Green ran. He got number one, like out of the combine in all positions. 00:59:33 Speaker 2: They were talking about teams. We're probably gonna come up to him and start talking to him about receiver like he should obviously should it. 00:59:38 Speaker 1: Raiders will take the number one. 00:59:42 Speaker 8: To the Jets. Did you play against vic In like that first game back where he threw it ninety yards to DeShawn No. 00:59:49 Speaker 2: I was on Peace Squad. I remember watching it because that was the first iteration of Chip Kelly's offense coming into the league, and they whooped us and you saw, damn the spread might just take the league by storm and obviously got figured out and everything else. But I remember that first game, that bomb that vic threw to Deshaun Jackson and just the no huddle and everything, like the boys were in a blender. Yeah, Fletcher out there in his last year, just a blender. D'anngel Hall. 01:00:17 Speaker 1: Yeah, good times, man, great times. 01:00:20 Speaker 2: Shut out the Peace Squad. 01:00:23 Speaker 8: Uh? 01:00:23 Speaker 2: What other headlines were coming out of the coming out of the combine? Did you see our boy Diego Pavia hit the backflip? I did see that and come out with an unbelievable quote. Did he shoot up? What was his quote? I'm sorry? 01:00:34 Speaker 12: His quote was that his your frontal front love doesn't developed your twenty five and he just turned twenty four, so he has three hundred and sixty days to get basically on track. 01:00:45 Speaker 1: That's great. Yeah, that's called upside. When we dropped somebody upside. Yeah, you look at his game tape and his upside. Yeah are we thinking? Where where is he? Where's he being projected? 01:00:57 Speaker 2: I don't know. I thought I feel like he'll be like, uh, six seven round guy, maybe undrafted free agent. Yeah, I don't know what the boards have him as. 01:01:13 Speaker 1: He's with the Rams. I never talked about steps and he walked away for like a year. 01:01:18 Speaker 8: He had some mental health stuff going on. 01:01:21 Speaker 1: Well he's got Johnny Manziel mentoring him, so. 01:01:23 Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's it's the frontal cortex has not fully developed. So maybe once it gets developed, it'll be something. I like to picture him and Johnny Manziel like them, Johnny mentoring him like they're just in a room playing like rock'm soccer, Robots or something. 01:01:36 Speaker 5: It's like a Theo Von podcast and just every day for him. 01:01:40 Speaker 1: In Manziel, Johnny was a electric man. So my my cousin Jake is still with the Falcons. He was on that team, and my cousin Mike for that matter. Uh, they were like left tackle, left guard and or maybe Luke joke or whatever. I'm going down there, But man I used to, Yeah, I would. I would tune into and I remember that was it the Alabama game where they were up like twenty eight three early then it was like they came back and it was back and forth. I mean it was electric. It was. It's a great game to go back and watch. 01:02:10 Speaker 2: Johnny Manziel was such a stud man and for Diego to talk about Johnny being a mentor, hopefully there's just more. There's other people that he's getting advice from as well, not to like shit on Johnny. I'm just saying when you look at the what happened with Johnny, and if Diego's saying like I'm essentially like a Johnny Manziel coming out of college in this way, I would ultimately be my advice would be like to be cautious about that. 01:02:38 Speaker 1: Well, I choose to think optimistically and positively about you know, because Johnny, I think he's done a lot of interviews podcasting lately where he has I think been honest about his time in Cleveland and kind of what went down, and you know, he wish he would have done things differently, which actually could be very beneficial to Diego based on perceived or actual you know, transgressions, whether it's in whether it's the you know, interview process, whether it's the heisman, whether it's the club like. 01:03:06 Speaker 2: Yeah, no, you're running process because he thought he was vulnerable with us on on this show. And again fan of Johnny Manziel, I'm just saying, if you're a young cat coming out getting mentoring and everything else, like I would just say, especially if you look at Johnny Manzel too, Like over the last year there's been a couple of things that comes out about him where he's like going, you know, going and partying, benders, like all the stuff that essentially Diego kind of you know, gravitates towards when it comes off the field stuff that comes out with Diego. I'm just saying, be careful, be careful because everything matters, you know, going through the draft process and all this team, all the teams, they have you under a microscope and everything that you do matters. 01:03:44 Speaker 1: Did you do any other workouts for teams or like they an't want to come out like how does I you weren't viting to the I know for us, it's like you go to the combine, there might be a few teams, especially with you. You know, we had all these linebackers coming out of USC and just players in general, Like you know, Tampa came out the red Yeah did you. 01:04:01 Speaker 2: The Bengals came. The Bengals came and like had me on the white board, did stuff like that, watch film. The Pagers came, did stuff on the white board, watch film. But I never did. I didn't do like workouts for a team. They never They never came after that, And then I took one pre draft visit, which was to the Cincinnati Bengals. They did like a psychology task personality. 01:04:23 Speaker 1: How was it? 01:04:23 Speaker 8: You didn't want to go there? 01:04:25 Speaker 2: There's facilities were dogshit. And then I see all the report card stuff coming out with teams and I see that they're still kind of just dogshit. And the Cincinnati Bengals have been dog shit for the longest time. 01:04:35 Speaker 1: How about the report Have you guys talked about the report cards? 01:04:37 Speaker 2: Have not? Have not? I see that they're trying to do away with them with which I think is bullshit. It's like, this is this is feedback that the players are giving, that the players are giving teams in every area. 01:04:47 Speaker 1: Yeah, the owners just don't want to be criticized. But when you're like the Miami Dolphins or the Minnesota Vikings, you know, you're like, hell, yeah, we got a good we run this thing operationally the right way, and it's you know, their players and whomever or else votes on it. They talk about that. But there's a reason why, you know, the organizations at the bottom or ones you looked at. I want to say, maybe it was the Jets, like one of them, one of these organizations they like went up from bottom to like top five or something. They always it was the Commanders. Yeah, it was the Commanders. Yeah, they went they went up new ownership. They probably took that feedback. 01:05:20 Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, if you're an organization and you want to win, like you are obsessed with figuring out ways to win, then you want any feedback you can get from the from from the players, from the organization, from the personnel, whatever it is. You want that feedback, no matter how much it's like, Okay, we can take this for a grain of salt, but ultimately just look at it from the big picture perspective, like zooming out and be like, hey, it seems like we can get better in these areas. Yeah, but you know they want to it's like bottom line. 01:05:47 Speaker 1: Litigate. 01:05:48 Speaker 2: Yeah, it could be a boys club happening where because of X, Y and Z sized. 01:05:53 Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, they like to be They like to buy islands, you know what I'm saying. And yeah and like other big airplanes. 01:06:02 Speaker 2: Yeah yeah files. 01:06:05 Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I get distracted, So I get distracted. 01:06:09 Speaker 2: Yeah, Mischelle, great show. 01:06:16 Speaker 1: Great And with that salary cap bumping up? How much did it go up? Again? 01:06:21 Speaker 2: What are guys even like? 01:06:23 Speaker 1: It's insane? 01:06:24 Speaker 2: I mean I see all the big contracts. What what's the minimum matt now in the NFL? 01:06:29 Speaker 1: When I got to the league, it was like three three twenty five. 01:06:34 Speaker 2: My first year was like four to twenty. 01:06:36 Speaker 1: It's got it? Is it over a million? Now? 01:06:38 Speaker 7: Oh my god? 01:06:39 Speaker 2: Minimum base salary for rookies eight and forty. 01:06:42 Speaker 1: So that's that's okay with inflation, you know. 01:06:45 Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's awesome. 01:06:46 Speaker 1: Yeah, it is awesome. 01:06:47 Speaker 6: Well you talk what Odell said, like one hundred and fifty mili one hundred mill is not enough to last year? 01:06:54 Speaker 2: Do what what's up? Hang on? Hang on, hang on? He was doing Odell's said one hundred million dollars is not enough to last. 01:07:02 Speaker 6: On the pivot and he's not saying that he is broke, but he kind of breaks down. He's like, man, one hundred and fifty mili, Like, people don't realize how fast it can go if you don't take care of it, you know, wipe out half for taxes, you buy mama house, you got people depending on you, Like, it's really not really not that much. And it took heat on the internet, as it should, but yeah, it was a it was a wild statement. 01:07:25 Speaker 2: Odell Beckham Junior says one hundred and fifty million is enough to live on. Yeah, I mean that's that's obviously, that's that's cap that's bullshit. 01:07:33 Speaker 1: Well, how do you want to live? 01:07:36 Speaker 2: Sure? 01:07:37 Speaker 7: You can? 01:07:37 Speaker 2: You can, yes, you can easily. Not be enough, you can easily, I guess, Yeah, burn through fifty million dollars. I like OBJ. I know what he's saying. You know, I like OBJ. 01:07:47 Speaker 1: Just you flying pride everywhere your vacation and you're doing first class this and that security buying stuff like, yeah, you will tear through. That's how you hear these stories all the time of people going broke. It's just not taking care of. 01:07:58 Speaker 2: Your money, not thinking long term. 01:07:59 Speaker 1: Yeah, because what how old were you when you got out, I was thirty three. 01:08:03 Speaker 2: Yeah, thirty one, Oh yeah, thirty one. 01:08:07 Speaker 1: Yeah, I've been unemployed ever since. Yeah, it's tough. 01:08:12 Speaker 5: Will hired you. 01:08:17 Speaker 1: Hey, thanks, brother, I appreciate it. 01:08:21 Speaker 2: One hundred and fifty though, that's that's a lot of money. That's that's hard to run. 01:08:25 Speaker 1: Th I'm just amazing at the salary cap. Like I hate to play these games, but you think about, like, all right, well, my dad played in the league at X amount of dollars, and even when I played early in my career, like the salary cap went up nominally, you know, it went up just like a few million dollars to where like a salary would go up one hundred thousand dollars to be the next highest paid. Now we're going up four or five six million dollars in between the next highest paid. You look at we talked about this. You look at the pass rushers. I think Max Crosby was the first to sign this pass offseason at forty million. Michael Parsons right before the season started forty seven million, seven million dollars nuts in just a couple of months, which was unhurt. I mean seven million would have taken fifteen twenty years to do that based But I mean that's just it's it just shows you how much the game is grown and how big the NFL is and sales and whatnot. 01:09:16 Speaker 2: Intern It's just crazy in my brain that the minimum is like double. 01:09:22 Speaker 1: Now you're thinking, if you would have played in today's age, you have double your money. Yeah we could get that double decker bus. 01:09:27 Speaker 2: Yeah we get that double bar bus. College. 01:09:30 Speaker 1: Now that's true. I wouldn't have gotten me. You probably would have got I would have. 01:09:35 Speaker 2: Got some money. Yeah, yeah you what are you talking about, man? No, not my senior year. Yeah, you would have. 01:09:42 Speaker 1: I was playing, but there were some big dogs. 01:09:44 Speaker 2: No you there would have been big dogs where you're like, damn, I should be. 01:09:47 Speaker 1: I would have gotten the crumbs. 01:09:49 Speaker 2: You'd have got a couple hundred thousand dollars. No way, I promise, bro. The stuff the stuff that I hear about the time NL I'm talking like you know how it's like skills semi and then the line the old lineman d line, like semi positions like tight ends, linebackers like guys who are on like the too deep are getting like several hundred thousand dollars, which that's yeah, that's awesome. 01:10:14 Speaker 1: I just think it's interesting when I have these conversations with parents about like nil versus like you know, I mean, I'm like, for me, just you know, being a walk on, even to you to a certain extent, you know, being a free agent, it has helped develop who you are because you had to grind, you had to go for it, you could, there was no easy way out. And it's like everybody can transfer. Now you're going to chase the biggest dollar. Like, where does the resiliency come in. I'm I'm curious if there's a way to quantify that metric of like, you know, how the transferring and the taking the money and like versus does that How does that affect the athlete? How does that affect the person the mental It's really tough to quantify that is all I'm saying. 01:10:51 Speaker 2: Let's you say your boys they're obsessed with playing football, and they got it. When they get to high school, you're legitimately going to think, like the thought process I feel like now in high school is how do you leverage yourself whether it's the school or the team that you're on, whatever it is. Things that you do on social media or on the field to where you leverage as much nil money as you can before you even get to the school. 01:11:11 Speaker 1: Well, you're right, and they have those those bulletin boards in the NFL locker or maybe even high school college saying the percentage of you know, boys who play high school ball who go on to college? Do you want who play in the NFL? It always gets, you know, point zero one percent. So like, yeah, you got to go get your money now, because that's gonna give you a leg up when it's time to get a real job working nine to five if you don't make it to the NFL or college or whatever it is. So that's gonna that's gonna be tough. Like let's say your girls, I'll just I'm gonna put this. You know, they're they're playing basketball, and who's rolling in the women's South Carolina South Carolina. Let's just say South Carolina and Nebraska. Well I'm gonna remove. 01:11:47 Speaker 2: Your say okay, I was gonna say women's volleyball. 01:11:51 Speaker 1: Right okay, And like you know, hey, we want to give a million dollars to this or we want to give you like two to go to this school. Like that's tough right there, because you're thinking and like that's life changing money, I know. But at the same token, like it's got to be tough because if you have a school I gave, we want to I'm making up schools. I don't mean to diminish anything. Like hey, Alabama's going to pay you five million for your boy to go here, but eight million to go to University of Maine or something like that. You're like, all right, well, you know it. That's a lot of money. But we're also thinking big picture here, getting to the next level. Yeah, I don't know, it's tough. 01:12:25 Speaker 2: We always manage my money too. It's like you just like my hope for it, let's just say it's rue and rus in that spot. My hope would be that like if I could find ways to get the paranoia inside of her ash this money's coming in. 01:12:40 Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what I mean. 01:12:42 Speaker 2: So long term, that's like, no, I'm telling you, this is not how it works. 01:12:46 Speaker 1: I talk about that with my wife all the time. Like, you know, raising kids when you have the means is difficult because they're comfortable, So how do you push them to get out of their comfort zone. It's not like you're going to send them to a different school you're going to take away this and that, like we drive a nice car. You know, they go to a nice school, like you have devices. It's it's tough. It is tough, yeah, but especially when you you know, I feel like for me going off to see when I was a walk on, like that took me from silver Spoon to like, oh this is how it works, and like I'm not allowed to quit. I'm not allowed to come home. And you know, like you had to, you had to figure it out, take something like that. But I guess we'll just cross that bridge when we get there. No, dude, until then, we'll keep dominating this flag football. 01:13:35 Speaker 2: Speaking of with the USC and we were talking about the combine, was it melacha lemon? Yeah, makaya lemon dog a little sweet and low. 01:13:46 Speaker 1: I don't know, bro, that's just gangster right there. 01:13:48 Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, I'm about to put the league on them. 01:13:51 Speaker 1: Heye, jettus you know what I'm saying. Yeah, Like, bro, he's going top ten. 01:13:55 Speaker 2: I feel you, I feel you. 01:13:59 Speaker 1: Yeah, that's s C boy right there. Don't do his thing that that s c Z Yes or not, Broy, we got some killers over there in s C too. 01:14:11 Speaker 2: He's a dog. 01:14:15 Speaker 5: He'll get it one day when the clip comes out. 01:14:17 Speaker 1: When the clip comes out. 01:14:22 Speaker 2: Now I'm trying to figure it out. 01:14:23 Speaker 6: They got some killers at usc Man. They got dogs there allegedly allegedly. 01:14:30 Speaker 2: Talking about j. 01:14:37 Speaker 1: I like, I love Sanchez too, but I got to you know what I'm saying that opinion. 01:14:50 Speaker 2: You feel like you get caught up and doing a I for your for your boys with their highlight tapes. 01:14:54 Speaker 1: Brother, that was wild. So one of you guys posted that, and you're like, which one of these is a I? And so I'm watching. I think there's one. There's one clip where the end zone right here, like I'm like, I've never heard of the fan, Like, that's gotta be AI. And then all of them are fake. 01:15:09 Speaker 2: I didn't know that the whole all the clips were fake. I thought it was like, you know, the dude who throws the ball, like it's just the football in the air, that's AI. 01:15:16 Speaker 1: Some of the tackles, I'm like, that looks fake. 01:15:18 Speaker 2: Terrible. 01:15:19 Speaker 1: Then I was just like, and what's great is like the tape is grainy, so you can kind of get away with it a little bit. Like if I would have had this, I might have gotten a scholarship back in the day, you know, snucking a couple of AI clips. 01:15:30 Speaker 2: I mean, like all the that's remarkable. All the coaches are gonna there's gonna be the relationships with the high school coach. They're gonna know if it's real or fake. Now I could see, you know what. I could see Lane Kiff and grabbing knowing he's grabbing an AI video and be like I need this kid, gotta get this kid, tell us you and they're just kind of trolling everybody. 01:15:47 Speaker 5: Then Dabbo falls. 01:15:48 Speaker 1: For It's a man, he's a bum gets mad at Lane. 01:15:56 Speaker 2: Yeah, that stuff is nuts, though the whole the AI world itself is is crazy. I think I saw what Brad Pitt and Christian Bale fighting to c Yeah yeah, Brad Pitt Cruise, like fighting on. 01:16:09 Speaker 1: This how long until they're making moves? Tom Cruise, Tom Cruise, Tom Cruise. Shila above wins. Well, you say, I heard Hilda buff. 01:16:19 Speaker 2: Shila least my man alone? 01:16:24 Speaker 1: All right, He's just out there chilling Marty Gras on Bourbon Street like I don't want he doesn't want to get groped, you know what I'm saying. You know, the four youths. It kind of knows me my algorithm. Algorithms fire. 01:16:41 Speaker 2: Great interview that Shylah buff The clips are so funny. 01:16:44 Speaker 1: What would you say to Jesus? Nothing? 01:16:48 Speaker 2: I kiss kiss his feet? He said, what are you talking about? Knowing the Bible? He's like, what does it say? He's like, nah, whatever that is, Like, you know, I'm that. I guess I'm that. 01:17:00 Speaker 1: He does have great motivational Just do it. When you go back and watch it now, you're like, hey, it makes sense. 01:17:07 Speaker 2: Yeah, just yeah. 01:17:12 Speaker 1: What's this right here? 01:17:13 Speaker 2: This is our social producer Matt Malone getting punked. Who is beer League? This was last night ten pm? 01:17:23 Speaker 1: Wow? Is that you number nineteen? 01:17:27 Speaker 9: No, I'm gonna do in the purple helmet. 01:17:28 Speaker 2: I'm ten. I thought he was seventy seven in the light blue. This guy coming in. 01:17:32 Speaker 9: That's tailor of one right there. 01:17:34 Speaker 1: I don't even see you, Matt. 01:17:35 Speaker 2: Are you on to say that's the dude who gets beat up? Oh? What? 01:17:39 Speaker 9: I didn't get beat up. I got jumped by three dudes. 01:17:42 Speaker 1: Bro, take your skate off and cut someone. 01:17:44 Speaker 2: Come on, bro, okay, that's a nice so my pushing the back because your boys. 01:17:50 Speaker 9: Cross checked in the face so then I it was kind of scumbag of me. I cross checked in the back, but I was just passed. We're down three zero in the playoffs third period. 01:17:57 Speaker 1: That's him that that's you skating up and checking. 01:18:00 Speaker 9: Yeah, and then I get jumped by three of those dudes, and. 01:18:03 Speaker 2: That was kind of a scummy move to just go right to he did it. 01:18:06 Speaker 9: He did it to his face, my boy's face, so like whatever, But yeah, I was scummy. I actually texted. I texted one of the guys and apologized. 01:18:13 Speaker 2: But he got he got pretty heated our playoffs. 01:18:17 Speaker 9: Yeah that's you know, that's not me because I was actually friendly with the guys all game. I was like, we're getting steamrolled, is what it. 01:18:22 Speaker 1: Is the problem with today's athletes. They want to be friends and social media and whatnot, Like that's the this is why the Ben Johnson, Matt Lafloor things. Perfect boys, you know, like Ben Johnson, We're not supposed to be friends. Now. The Floor has no idea what's happening right now. I guess beef. 01:18:42 Speaker 2: But yeah, I guess we're rid of beef. 01:18:44 Speaker 5: I got kicked out. 01:18:45 Speaker 2: You get kicked out of the game. 01:18:47 Speaker 9: Yeah, I got kicked out of the game. Actually, I'm gonna check right now if I got my suspension you beat up and my boys. 01:18:51 Speaker 5: Got suspended before. 01:18:53 Speaker 9: Yeah, no, no suspension of now, but I'll be checking the email. 01:18:57 Speaker 1: Mitch lifted bro It was a great gets into it, and then he stood on business that little that buddy didn't want any I saw it. 01:19:06 Speaker 8: No, he thought he wanted some smoke, but then I had. I was like, I'm about it, I'm about it. 01:19:12 Speaker 2: You lowered your shoulder on him? 01:19:13 Speaker 8: About it? He lowered his shoulder into me. 01:19:15 Speaker 1: We didn't see that in the film though, So okay, if you slow it down, you're able to see it. 01:19:23 Speaker 2: That's That's what I'm saying. 01:19:25 Speaker 9: Emerald Sports is like, that's all we got, now, Yeah, that's all we have. 01:19:28 Speaker 1: So all we got, you know, I don't know, Mitch. He just was running straight. 01:19:37 Speaker 2: Flag this flag. Football has got to do this, pull the flag. 01:19:39 Speaker 12: But hey, that's different weight classes too. Mid shouldn't be punching down like that the form tackle. 01:19:46 Speaker 5: Coming out of his playover. 01:19:49 Speaker 8: No, he put his shoulder into me. Like I was waiting for him to make a move, he. 01:19:52 Speaker 2: Put his shoulder into I think he just kind of leaned forward leaned forward. 01:19:55 Speaker 8: Okay, your son plays flag. You know how it works when you're when you're trying to like make a move at it, like coming up to somebody, you're gonna go side to side. He just tries to go through. 01:20:05 Speaker 1: Let me see this slow. He didn't lower his shoulder, but he was just. 01:20:09 Speaker 8: He covered he covered the ball up like you're getting like you're putting your shoulder down. 01:20:13 Speaker 1: I mean, listen, I can see it both ways. I hope your suspension got reduced to like, you know, like. 01:20:19 Speaker 8: This was like three or four months ago. I only got to spend for a game. 01:20:22 Speaker 1: Oh I was hoping for a half. But game seems a bit egregious. 01:20:27 Speaker 2: But let's get into some tier talk. You want to get featured on the show? Comments? YouTube comments? I found some a couple good. I had a couple of good lasts from last week's episode with Patrick Willis that I'll read. But let's do some uh some tier talk with the internet. Which one? Which one do we want to hit here? Okay, this one is from at UFC Batman. This is dom Box Steeler Hatfield hashtag tear talk. When is the time you've experienced stadium pulse, whether on the field or in day to day life. 01:21:00 Speaker 8: That's a good question. 01:21:04 Speaker 2: I was experiencing it last night with rue stadium pulse. Like we're talking big moment. I was thinking more where I had to keep my composure because she dropped the crowns all over the floor and sitting the hallway help pick them up. Then she wanted to do the band aid by herself. She gets up the band aid box, all the band aids fall over the floor. This is all right before within it five minutes span, and so I'm having to keep my composure. But I guess I wouldn't call that like stadium pulse. 01:21:32 Speaker 1: Well real, so I'm sorry, I understand the reference. But stadium pulse. Is that like when you're flustered? Or is that when we've experienced that actually playing. 01:21:44 Speaker 5: I'm in the work room with my dad. He's asking me to hand him tools. 01:21:47 Speaker 6: When I'm six years old, I don't know what tools they are, and I know whatever I had the next could be the end. 01:21:52 Speaker 5: Of my of my weekend. That's just an example. 01:21:57 Speaker 1: That actually happened. Because it sounds like we got to talk about this. 01:22:00 Speaker 5: We did see a hilarious meme the other day. 01:22:02 Speaker 6: It's like when your dad says to come outside, and this is what's in the driveway, and it's just a truck bed full of multch. 01:22:10 Speaker 2: Oh. 01:22:12 Speaker 12: I've never experienced this personally, but I know we've got a handful of guys that are married on this bus. I can imagine if y'all chose the route where you have to ask your future wife's father for handing marriage. 01:22:22 Speaker 2: That's got to be high stadium post. Yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely. I'm trying to think of, like the last couple of weeks, if I felt like a stadium pulse moment. Yeah, every day I'm feeling some type of stress. 01:22:33 Speaker 1: Raising his Yeah, you feel it every day. That court is all level. You go to your doctor for that annual blood pressure is a little hat like, buddy, you've got no idea. 01:22:44 Speaker 2: Yeah, stadium polst that was last weekend, immediate stadium pols. How are we going to handle this situation? We failed at getting her to ballet class. Now I'm talking to her. She's bummed that she didn't go to ballet class. She wants to ballet bun. She wants to do a class. We get the ballet bun going. That's a state impulse in itself, trying to get the ballet ballet bun right watching YouTube videos and then setting up the living room throw her on a ballet class stadium polse back down to zero honestly watching rufe. She wants to climb something bigger, taller, like ah, like one of the walls at the playground. There's like a stadium pulse of me watching her doing it because I'm nervous, Like, man, do I need to be right there? But you don't want to be a helicopter parent. You need to kind of let her fail on her own. I kind of don't want if she does fall. I think she's gonna fall, Like do I need to be close? I need to remain back and let her learn on her own. Stadium pulse. 01:23:36 Speaker 1: All of a sudden, you we drill into some condu it power goes on. Does the Yennirak turn on or not? 01:23:45 Speaker 2: The Gannerac? Yeah, stadium pols to get the Gannerac going. 01:23:50 Speaker 1: Hey, got to get your Coller. You gotta get your Coler Wisconsin made and that right, Matt, I mean you have to pay for it, but like yeah, I meaning, but have you ever been to you guys, you've ever been to Cohler, Wisconsin? Great little towns close to Whistling Straits, Black Wolf Run. You stay at the American Club down there. I mean I've seen it, but I'm not a big golfer. 01:24:19 Speaker 9: We had breakfast there right before the what was beautiful? What was that golf tournament with America versus Europe. It's a yeah, right before the Ryder Cups. They had it set up beautiful. 01:24:29 Speaker 1: It is beautiful. When we were in Wisconsin and we wanted to celebrate, we'd be out there for o t as. We wanted to celebrate, uh Mother's Day or whatnot. We drive on down through your Boygan, you know, and yeah, your boy Yeah, Byan's down there. Yeah, on the Bago. 01:24:48 Speaker 2: Beautiful. 01:24:49 Speaker 1: The American Club, that's the American Club right there. 01:24:52 Speaker 2: Looks like a good club. 01:24:54 Speaker 1: It used to be an old carriage house and they converted it over. People are great. 01:25:00 Speaker 2: Stadium pulse, your first grille of the season with some rabbis. 01:25:05 Speaker 12: Really just a group of people, especially if you got some like new guys coming over and they're like, don't worry, I got you. We got some extra steaks. And then all of a sudden, this guy he's talking about medium rare. He's talking about season, you go, oh, this guy knows this thing around you. 01:25:18 Speaker 1: You're just gonna get what you get. Yeah, you're like cut on the out, cut on the inside. It's a little bit more rare than on the outside. That's kind how it goes. 01:25:25 Speaker 2: Yeah, stadium polse like you know your wife isn't gonna be in the mood, but you know you're going for it anyway. 01:25:33 Speaker 1: I get shut down quick. I don't know. I mean, there's I'm just used to failure there. 01:25:38 Speaker 2: But when you know, but when you know you're not accepting failure, whatever strategy you're coming up with, I feel like a stadium pol. 01:25:44 Speaker 1: Now you're waiting for me to say something like, oh, I don't know, I'm just always smooth, you know what I'm saying, Like, just always I always got a resolution. 01:25:55 Speaker 2: Next one, hashtag tear talk from Devin Grover. What are the best audible play calls that you've heard? For instance, Omaha or Rick Flair, like that a quarterback us knowing that a quarterback the first time hearing that they do salt and pepper feels me and Mason Foster out there white and black, or Erlacker, Briggs, bu Gus or another guy. 01:26:17 Speaker 1: But it looks it wasn't until later in my career. Probably you probably got a benefit from this, But the centers had to put a mic on. Uh so that way, you know, the viewer at home can hear the experience a little bit more. But that's what would give away the omahas, the salt and whatever it is. So we would come in on Wednesday or whatever it was, before meetings start, we would listen to the TV copy and we put together you know, hey, this if they call this, it's this if they call this. But obviously they're self scout. I'm sure they change it week to week, but just little things to tap into. 01:26:46 Speaker 2: So, yes, I thought you were saying there was a mic straight on, like the center wore a mic because you're talking about TV copy. Yeah, like you're hearing the inside of like the fucking cocky. 01:26:57 Speaker 1: I think the centers do have to wear a mic. I'm not I'm not one hundred percent certain. 01:27:01 Speaker 2: Wouldn't that be like the camera up above there's no because this, Yeah, from I don't know, you're right. 01:27:12 Speaker 1: I remember a rod talking about Aaron Rodgers talking about that, saying like he hated that because naturally, if you're scouting your opponent. You listen to the TV copy as well as like, you know, look at the signs. You know that they're giving receivers or you know they've switching sides in the middle of the play. 01:27:28 Speaker 2: Yeah, because TV copy does help. Yeah, dude, I'll give you. I'll give you one here something twenty fifteen, Washington at Chicago. We needed to keep them out of field goal range, or they were around field goal range, but chances of them making it was very slim. We had to get off the field. On third down. We called a zero pressure mugged up double a gap. So we're we're bringing the house. It's zero and Cutler makes a check at the line of scrimmage. Fulsome folesome, folesome and right there, from knowing TV copy, jail break screen fulsom was there left. So all right, falsom was their left in prison was their word for the right side. But we had just went over prison because we didn't hear what folsom would be. But coaches are sitting there giving you tips like it could be falsom came up in it, and so once you were fulsome, we were just screaming screen screen screen. Dudes don't even rush. They just attack the side, get the tackle. We're celebrating. They missed the field goal, or they might have tried to attempt it. We win the fucking game. 01:28:36 Speaker 8: Game. 01:28:36 Speaker 2: Jason Hatcher comes up to me because he played with the Cowboys for like nine ten years before he came to Washington, and he would always tell me. He'd be around me during practice. He'd be like, what would Sean Lee do? So WWS SLD is what he'd always say. And he's like, he comes up the sideland grass and he's like, that's what I'm talking about, motherfucker. That's what Sean Lee would do in that situation. 01:28:57 Speaker 1: Because Shawn Lee, I mean, he was a great I mean he just kind of he had some injuries, right yeah, back, concussion, concussions, hamstring, he was Yeah, when I was playing, he was always in the middle Roman. 01:29:10 Speaker 2: But man, when he was on the field and he was playing, that dude put his face in the fan. Yeah, I see how he had all the concussions that he did have. Dude was a he wrecked shop. 01:29:21 Speaker 8: Yeah. 01:29:22 Speaker 1: I loved watching I mean Dallas back in the day Tony Romo to Marcus Ware they had another like a three technique or a five big as hell. Yeah, I have to say his name. But they were rolling. They were Yeah, they had a team when Wade Phillips was coaching him. 01:29:39 Speaker 2: Yeah, they ran that Tampa two where they pirate the three technique. 01:29:43 Speaker 1: I just love watching the Marcus Ma's pass rusher. 01:29:46 Speaker 2: Yeah. 01:29:47 Speaker 1: He was a freak to arm and he had the neck roll on too. Always like he would get on the field, he get paralyzed, taken off the field. He come back the next week and rip off three sacks. Go, I don't know how he does it? What they took him off on a stretcher. I swear he's back the next week twenty one sacks. I'm like, good grief, Yeah, yeah, God. 01:30:06 Speaker 9: What was Aaron's cadence? 01:30:07 Speaker 2: What did he say? What was his hit? 01:30:09 Speaker 1: Uh? You gotta go, you gotta go on that Instagram? 01:30:12 Speaker 3: Uh? 01:30:13 Speaker 1: Where buddy, buddy? Oh he's got it down pat. 01:30:17 Speaker 9: And I thought in twenty fifteen he was doing Wendy's Didn't he use Wendy's dog? 01:30:23 Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. I don't right now. I just know I knew his cadence on when he was gonna go on two or even three. 01:30:33 Speaker 2: Okay, all right, we got. We got another tier talk here from. 01:30:37 Speaker 1: Some good thing I didn't bite just like you. 01:30:43 Speaker 2: If I became president, I'd eliminate daylight savings time. What's the first thing the boys would change if they were president? Hashtag tier talk? You guys got anything off the top? 01:30:55 Speaker 1: Daylight savings? 01:30:56 Speaker 11: Is? 01:30:57 Speaker 1: You know why they used to do this, right? I think I'm correct? Yeah, for the cross Like it used to be extra time during the day to you know, harvest your crops. I believe in fact check me. But but now it's just like there's studies that show, like you know, mental health and whatnot, when you have to wake up an hour earlier whatever it is just kind of throws you off a little bit. 01:31:20 Speaker 2: We prioritize. 01:31:21 Speaker 1: We prioritize mental health, probably crops at this point of our world's You know what I'm saying, what would I change? Huh? Do you think you would just open all the borders? I'm just trying to get like the juices falling to get your talk. Just yeah, I'm not saying anything. I'm just saying, like, where do you think like build a northern wall? Like I'm just like this thing like. 01:31:49 Speaker 2: After Game of Thrones comes out, I do think you needed you need to call something the wall like North to the Wall and make Canada. Canada is now known as the White Walkers. You start having fun, you know what I mean? 01:32:02 Speaker 1: Yeah, like, who cares? You're in there for four years? You're out, Like someone's gonna. 01:32:05 Speaker 2: If we're gonna make a movie strategically, like it's gonna be a live broadcast, you would probably, and the whole monitor is just gonna be a risk board, you know what I mean. 01:32:15 Speaker 1: Do you think you would change the commanders back to the Redskins? 01:32:18 Speaker 2: Yeah? 01:32:19 Speaker 1: Yeah, h tt R. 01:32:23 Speaker 2: Eliminates Celery from all menus, so it takes Clary was a waste of time. 01:32:30 Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, what about bro? I got no takes today. This is why I'm a better guess than I am a host. 01:32:42 Speaker 5: Maybe you want gas price flat fee for gas? Stop all this, stop all the nonsense, right, just pick a number. 01:32:50 Speaker 1: Well, you sound like. 01:32:51 Speaker 2: Say a lot of things people would just love. 01:32:52 Speaker 1: Yeah, you just want everything equal, Like let's put a cap on earnings and. 01:32:57 Speaker 5: Yeah for gas is the same healthcare? 01:32:59 Speaker 2: Probably? 01:33:00 Speaker 1: It's like a socialist society we live in now. 01:33:04 Speaker 2: You go back to segregating schools. 01:33:07 Speaker 5: Is that what you want? 01:33:08 Speaker 1: Clay Hey. One of us made up the all white squad, and one of us loves inclusion. 01:33:17 Speaker 2: I honestly I forgot to do the oh yeah, targeting to fun. A lot of good milk in this rookie class coming up, a lot of good milk. 01:33:31 Speaker 1: Not of cream. The cream rises to the always. 01:33:35 Speaker 2: That's a somebody who wasn't uh golic seeing like I see the the exciting whites are multiplying after the It was at the organ safety Rand a great time. 01:33:48 Speaker 1: Yeah, is he is he projected to get drafted high just because he ran fast or what? 01:33:52 Speaker 2: No clue, No clue, there's one area it's like car for me to keep up with. It's just the new rookies that come in every year. Yeah, where guys are rated, it's like you might know it's you know that Fernando Mendoz is. 01:34:04 Speaker 1: Yeah, I've got outside of him. I have no idea. 01:34:06 Speaker 2: Like on the fan duel app he's minus twenty thousand odds to get drafted first. 01:34:09 Speaker 1: Overall, we should probably take that done. 01:34:11 Speaker 2: But also, what if there's a plus odds guy out there? Will you take a little shot. 01:34:15 Speaker 1: Because Jets Jets might give up six first round picks. Yeah, yeah, I could. They needed they need to change something after and Glenn fell asleep, like change the narrative. 01:34:26 Speaker 2: Jets are Yeah, we are back, Aaron Glenn made this move. You boys know probably a little bit better. 01:36:32 Speaker 2: But linebacker, you get five down in front of me, just free roaming out there on the second level. 01:36:37 Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, come on, what if a big tackle comes down on you though you don't see him. 01:36:42 Speaker 2: They might they I mean, they'll get some blocks on me, There's no question about it. At that point it's over and you're like, thank god, all I gotta do is get my nose face. 01:41:39 Speaker 2: Then he starts burning my furniture. I think I'll just still play like I'm knocked down, throwing my couch in the. 01:41:50 Speaker 1: Yeah, like as well, that's like the NFL Show or not NFL, that football show on ESPN Game Changers back in the day. No, it got canceled after what it was like guys were doing blow at halftime and the NFL canceled it because it was like, yo, you can't do this. But this was straight up what it was like, Like I think it was game. It was a game changers. 01:42:15 Speaker 2: But when Delaney said, who's a dude? That was kind of scary to be around when he got some Helco on his system, you know, those white boys. So once he said that, it's like, yeah, though, going out of your shields sounds good, but this this is a different breeding a human being. 01:42:32 Speaker 1: Playmakers. 01:42:34 Speaker 2: Oh yeah, because they went they went out in the parking lot and played a game. Fourteen, which is nuts to think about, but as I see this, like from a bird's eye view, it's like forty six thousand, nine and twenty one passing yards, It's good. Like when I see what is it? He is the lone quarterback in NFL history to accumulate forty thousand passing yards and five thousand rushing yards for his career. Additionally, Wilson joined Peyton Manning from twenty twelve to twenty fourteen as the only quarterback in NFL history with thirty plus passing touchdowns and one hundred plus passer rating in three consecutive seasons. That was eighteen through twenty for you, that is. 01:48:12 Speaker 10: And also we had all those stats along and then since his rookie year when nobody even knew the man. On Tuesdays, every Tuesday, he's going to visit children in the hospital. 01:48:19 Speaker 13: So we're talking about all around the good guy. 01:48:22 Speaker 10: Let's give a und applause for the one the only Russell Wilson's. 01:48:28 Speaker 13: Is it exhausting? 01:48:29 Speaker 8: Dude? 01:48:29 Speaker 7: Good to be on bus? 01:48:30 Speaker 2: Is it exhausting? 01:48:31 Speaker 7: Which part do you guys down? Exhaust introducing you? 01:48:35 Speaker 13: We Fandel last night and they're doing it. 01:48:38 Speaker 10: We got Rob groncast he's here, but Russell Wilson list also busting with the boys is here, and then say NFL players. 01:48:46 Speaker 13: List, like where do you find the time? 01:48:49 Speaker 1: What's your schedule? 01:48:50 Speaker 11: Like, well, first of all, it's crazy. First of all, be on the show with you fellas. You know, I'm excited to be on here with your guys, which we're on the bus right now, but we're here, But no, I'm super grateful to be on here with you guys. I've admired y'all, both y'all's careers. I compete against both of you guys too. 01:49:04 Speaker 2: Hey, you're one of my three just yeah, hey, one of my three interceptions out there. I don't want to. 01:49:10 Speaker 11: I probably juked you along the way, But no, man, I'm just grateful for being here you guys. You guys are doing a great job. But no, going back to your original question, man, how do I find the time? I think just being organized, you know, really trying to be all things to the things I love. You know, obviously, I think obviously talking ball is something I absolutely love to do, and being on here with you guys and talking on life and all the other stuff that goes along with it. 01:49:32 Speaker 7: But yeah, I just try to be organized as possible. 01:49:33 Speaker 11: I got a good team around me too that helps, and just put things together and make sure I'm ready to go. 01:49:38 Speaker 2: The balance is gotta be difficult at times, because again, like you, you have businesses, you have found a foundation like the children's hospital going every Tuesday, the fourteen year career ahead and the stats I just readdle Off, You're also a father, like it has got to be challenging at times to have the balance, have the organization because your wife's a superstar as well. Like do you ever are you guys ever able sitting back or when you're in bed about to fall asleep? Like, yo, our life is the gratitude that you have. 01:50:06 Speaker 11: I think life is all about gratitude. I think that you know, there's challenges along the way. It's just like everybody else's life. We all don't have it perfect or anything like that. And I think just having a heart full of gratitude and joy in the midst of storms and things like that, and just also knowing like there's always better days ahead, you know, just like when I hit the ground, I just want to hit hit the ground running. And you know, it's like to me, it's funny because like when I go to sleep, I don't sleep much like I sleep about five hours a night maybe, but when I when I do, I'm gone because I feel like I've exhausted myself all day, using all my gas in my in the car, you know what I mean, and just you refill it, you know, and just go again. And I think to me, I always I always said that you never want to die empty. You know, I want to die if I die, I die, I want to die empty. I mean I've used everything I had, you know, for everyone and everyone else and everything that I want to accomplish. And so, you know, I feel like I'm still grown and I'm still learning every day, and just being a dad is awesome too. And then you know, having kids and just you know, seeing them grow up is crazy. You got four of them running around eleven, eight, five, and two, and so there's there's their challenges too. 01:51:14 Speaker 7: On top of that. 01:51:14 Speaker 11: Yeah, and then you're you're also I think you're trying to be the best in the world what you do. And it was funny because I was talking to somebody the other day about, you know, my career, and I feel like, you know, I've been in a you know, a heavyweight fight, meaning it's been it's been fourteen rounds, yeah, right, you know, and I feel like I've won eleven of them, and I feel like I've lost maybe the last couple, but it doesn't mean I won't win fifteen and sixteen. 01:51:37 Speaker 7: And so that's kind of been my mentality. 01:51:39 Speaker 2: So kind of a bar that is kind of a bar. The old school heavyweight the rounds would go up to what fifteen? What is left in the tank for Russell Wilson Because again, you look back on some of these career statistics, like you you obviously we've we played nine getting to watch you whooped our ass. I remember when your first year at Wisconsin or your was that your only year at Wisconsin? You whook this when Nebraska came to town. But get in to kind of like watch your career unfold and being being now more of an observer and you're talking about losing the last couple of rounds, like how much longer do you want to play this game? 01:52:10 Speaker 1: Yeah? 01:52:10 Speaker 7: I want to play a few more years for sure. 01:52:12 Speaker 11: I think for me, you know, I've always had the vision of game to forty at least, you know, I think you know the game is different. You know, quarterbacks, we get hit it's not you know, we get hit hard, but it's there's certain rules. 01:52:22 Speaker 7: I mean back in the day, but I started bro you just get blood. Yeah. 01:52:27 Speaker 11: So the game I feel like allows you to you know, live a little longer. I guess you know, I feel healthy, I feel great. But I think more than anything else is do you love the game? Do you love studying. Do you love the passion for it all? Do you love the process? Do you love the practice? Do you love Everybody loves the winning part of it, But it's the process. There's a journey to get to be obsessed with. And that part I'm obsessed with is the being around the fellows in the locker room and all that too. You know, It's that's the part I still absolutely love and enjoy. So for me, you know, you know, I think about certain guys. I think about guys like l Way. I think about guys even Peyton Manning himself, and you know, different guys that I've been around and witnessed or whatever it may be. And you know they some of them didn't win to the end. You know, I think about Elway's career, you know, winning at the end of his career. I think about Peyton winning again at the end of his career. You know, those moments are you know, special moments. Even Tom himself, who obviously played a forty five, you know, has been the greatest example for anybody at this position or anybody in our in our game. You know, he won i know four in the last seven or something crazy like that. So you know why why I think anything else, you know, And I think it's about being around the right people the right time, you know, all the glue coming together. You've seen that with Sam Donald. You know, obviously we're here at the super Bowl, but you're seeing that with Sam Donald and all his situation for four or five years wasn't what he wanted it to be, right, Yeah, And you see it with Baker Mayfield, a guy who I I love watching play and compete, you know, and just goes from Baker goes from Cleveland to Carolina. It doesn't work there, and then he gets a shot in LA with Sean McVeigh on a Thursday night game, has a great game. The next you know, a couple of games real you know, he's sitting in Tampa Bay, you know, and doing his thing. I think Sam Darnold the same thing. And so it just takes the right place at the right time. I know that, as you mentioned, the resume is one thing, but it's about the moment right now, and how do I use all that experience for something good. 01:54:15 Speaker 10: Yeah, he's talking about Sam and they were talking about his scattering report as he was coming out, and one thing like an intangible that he had is that he's unfazed by failure. Well, it does not affect him at all, which is something that I think every quarterback should be able to have. You brought up the rounds right, fourteen rounds. You've won eleven of them in the last couple of years. We've had a little bit of jumping around Broncos the situation which I'm gonna read the tweet because buddy, I'll be honest with you, that's fucking awesome area it's tweet. Oh yeah, I'll read the tweet. I'll read the tweet right now, actually, because I do your team's for Like, Okay, we're gonna bring this up right now, but yeah we are. 01:54:49 Speaker 13: This is the tweet that you put out. 01:54:51 Speaker 2: It is. 01:54:53 Speaker 10: Class list dot dot dot but not surprised didn't realize you're still bounty hunting fifteen plus years later through the media. Now, a lot of people, and I know prs probably sit back to like, Okay, it's not necessarily the vision we want to get off. 01:55:04 Speaker 2: But dude, maybe they tweeted it. 01:55:06 Speaker 13: Maybe they did the. 01:55:09 Speaker 10: Human the human element of that and every guy because everybody who works nine to five jobs drives trucks, blue collar lifestyle they sit down on a Sunday and they watch these heroes on TV and they put them at this higher life thing and they see all the charity you do, how much you give back, what you and your wife will do both do together, and your foundations and everything like that. It's like, oh, this guy is so up here. It's so hard to me to even visualize that we're even in the same like class. And to put a tweet like that is like very humanizing towards like, yeah, we all are affected by decisions that are made off the camera, off of the field, and that's like a it's a humanizing element that when I saw that tweet them, like, dude, this is fucking badass. Yeah, that russells and bites back because you do you you run, You're a very classy individual. You're very well spoken guy, you're well addressed. You're come in, you shake everybody's hand. You see all my boys, you're shaking their and it's like this dude, this dude's operating at a high level. But then you see that tweet and it's like, Okay, this dude he sees it all like he's seeing a three sixty. 01:56:09 Speaker 13: Yeah, a full three sixty so I don't even know where I was going with that. 01:56:13 Speaker 10: Oh yeah, the three the three rounds. You look at those three rounds and how the operation of all that has gone? Like where do you think you could have handled some things better? Where do you think you did a good job in some of those spots? Because a lot of times the success you have earlier in your career, people want to like if people are really good, like Jordan and Kobe all those people like you get used to people being great, and then when they're not or something happens, it's like so quick to point the finger. So in those in these last three rounds, like how do you think you could have done a better job? And where do you think you've hmmed yourself great in this adversity? 01:56:44 Speaker 11: Yeah, I think there's always a maturation process. I think, first of all, going back to the tweet, like I don't say much. I never hardly ever say anything. I think there's a time and place. But sometimes you get fatigued of people talking about you. You just see, like you mentioned, you're all human, you know, but it's one thing for people that maybe aren't in the field or aren't you know, have you know, people say bots or whatever, talking like, I don't, I don't worry about that stuff like that. 01:57:08 Speaker 8: That never. 01:57:08 Speaker 11: But but to me, but to me, when you've been in the ring or you've been you know, on the same side and this and that, and I got the same amount of rings as you got, meaning Sean right, like yeah, and listen, I got a lot of respect for him as a play call or this and that. 01:57:24 Speaker 7: But to take a shot, I don't, I don't. 01:57:26 Speaker 11: I don't like you know, I don't think it's necessary, you know what I mean, especially when I'm not even on your own team anymore. So for me, there's a point in time where you have to I've realized I've stayed quiet for so long. There's a there's a time and place where I'm not right. And so I think that you know, for me, I know who I am as a competitor, as a warrior, as a as a champion to and uh, you know, I've beaten Sean to you know, like we've been on the same place and the same thing. And so it's not a matter of disrespect. Just don't disrespect me. That's my big thought. So going back to what I could have done better along the way, Man, I think that you know, one, you always want to win more games. 01:58:02 Speaker 7: Yeah, it's all about winning. 01:58:03 Speaker 11: Like, at the end of the day, nobody cares about anything else but winning, no matter how you do it. 01:58:08 Speaker 7: I think that you also you also reflect back. 01:58:11 Speaker 11: On you know, the process of uh, you know, like little things that maybe you don't like. When you're up here for so long, you don't really realize all the all the nuances that go around. Meaning for example, like like I had my own office in Seattle all the time, but it was because I was always watching film. 01:58:30 Speaker 7: It wasn't a negative thing in Seattle. 01:58:32 Speaker 11: Right If you go to somewhere else and maybe somebody thinks it's, well that's strange, that's weird. But they gave me the office. They said, hey, we want to have everything you had in Seattle. I didn't ask for it, they said it. So like those things happen. But when you reflect back, I mean, okay, well when I do it again, okay, I don't need that. It's not something I need necessarily. We can figure that out. Like those little things that people said, I had my own parking spot. I didn't have my own parking spot. I just got there early and parked in the same first three, four or five spots. So like those little things that you realize that happen, you understand that that that's like you can't ever be affected by that. And so that's why I've never really changed, you know, my my thought process in terms of those things. I think the one thing I've done consistently well is I always try to love my teammates. I always love the game, I love practice, I love and so for me, like you know, going to Pittsburgh was a great experience for me because the players love ball. You know, the guys love ball. It was cool guys like Cam Hayward, t J. Watt, guys like that. I love being around, you know, and and you know, to be able to mentor guy like George Pickens and be around him and seeing all the things he's been able to do, you know, and playing with him, and you know, being a ground Guys like DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett like the love of the game, Bobby Wagner, guy who just one man the year. 01:59:44 Speaker 7: Those are my boys for life. 01:59:46 Speaker 11: You know, Guys like Cliff Averell, who who you know, like played on the defensive side. But we've been forever close, you know, for. 01:59:52 Speaker 7: A long time. 01:59:53 Speaker 11: Guys like Charlie Martin, Guys like Jimmy Graham, like one of my favorite teammates. We only played a couple of years together, but man, we you know, we have a bunch of funs who are in touchdowns in the end zone, but we're forever locked in, like literally talk to them all the time, you know, and quite a bit so Robert Turbin, who was my roommate. Like those are the memories and things that you never let go and you would never change anything for, you know. And people can question play this that why did this happen? But then the day I've given my all to the game. And when you give your all, you got nothing to You have nothing to apologize for, you know, like there's certain points in your life that like got nothing to apologize for except for giving my all. You rather liked me, you love me, you hate me, whatever it is. 02:00:34 Speaker 7: It's like you just. 02:00:37 Speaker 11: I'll love you fully even if you don't love me, that's your choice. But end of the day, like I'm gonna give my all to the game because that's what the game deserves. And so that's how I always viewed it, and so I think it's got I got more teammates that I'm closer to than not. I got more people than we hit up and talk to all the time, and those things I never regret. So I think that like when the higher you get, there's always noise, you know. My old pastor used to say when I was in I was going through a tough time. My dad was on his deathbed. I was in Raleigh, North Carolina and c State, and there was a lot going on. I was playing great in football, but there's a lot of other stuff going on in the world and my world or whatever, and it's just challenging my dad on his deathbed. And I just remember the pastor saying one day to me, he said, remember, as you continue to rise, the greater you're great, the more they're gonna hate. The greater you're great, the more they're gonna hate. And I just, I funnily always believe that, like it's part of uh that's part of trying to go to the mountaintop. And sometimes you fall and people like watching you fall, and sometimes you got everybody who leaves you down in the valley. But you just keep climbing, and you want to be around the people that allow you to keep climbing. You want to be around the people that sometimes you know what, you don't have any more strength, but they keep pushing you up. And it's like, those are the people that I want to be around because I'm gonna do the same for them. And I think that's that's kind of been my thought process. 02:01:57 Speaker 2: When you earlier, when you talk about you love the process, you love ball, you love showing up. And again, over fourteen years, i'd imagine especially over the last few that there's been years where that process and that love and that joy has been challenged. What years have those been for you? Because again, you've also been in a lot of different seats. Now you've been the guy that's won the Super Bowl. You know, we were obviously at FANDOL last night joking about you know, you was joking back, joking back and forth with the Gronk on the slant route and everything else to where you've lost a super Bowl. You're kind of in this dynasty ish realm where you got all these great players together all we'll get back to the next time. So where you've been the second contract, third contract guy at the same spot, and maybe I'll be a Seahawk forever. You've been a this team, Denver is trading everything to get acquire you in like a fourth round pick to where you are now the pinnacle of the football stories and headlines. So where you're at Denver expected to bring a super Bowl. You go to where you're like a mercenary guy for a year with the Pittsburgh Steelers and you're a starting quarterback on that roster. You've went through this year to where you got bench and got to be a backup and a mentor to young cats like Jackson Dart. So you've been in so many different seats. How has like your joy and love for the process been challenging at times when you reflect back on really the back half of your career. 02:03:13 Speaker 11: Well, first of all, I'm gonna have you right the backside of my book one day. No, man, I think in that nuts though. Yeah, like you've been in so many different streat journey, I think it's been a challenging one. But I didn't ask for it to be easy, you know, I didn't ask for it to be simple. 02:03:30 Speaker 7: I think that the big part of it. 02:03:31 Speaker 11: Is is that, man, I go back to Seattle, like ten amazing electric years. You know, just everything just you know was electric and the things we able to do early in my career, and also you know, from twenty fifteen to twenty twenty one, twenty twenty in particular, like I broke my finger in twenty one, I felt like I was the top of my game and broke my finger unfortunately, but like just those years were just dominant too, you know, so like I felt like, you know, just that was an amazing part of my life that will forever be a part of my life. And I'm a part of my journey and part of my story, historical part of it, and then the history of being in Denver. 02:04:08 Speaker 7: Like it was challenging. I tore my lat. 02:04:10 Speaker 11: I was playing, you know, on it with you know, I tore eighty ninety percent of my lat. I'm like right side trying to throw. But it was hard, bro it was like I was about every throw. 02:04:19 Speaker 7: But like, you know, I'm a competitor. I'm old school. 02:04:21 Speaker 11: I believe that the quarterbacks supposed to be on the field no matter what the circumstances are. You know, I gotta go. There's no other I didn't come to, you know, come here, just not go compete. And the unfortunate part is we lost like nine games by like five six points or less, you know which, like in seatle, we always want them. Yeah, but I think that was, like, you know, a challenging piece of just figuring that out. But okay, you go through that first year and it is what it is, and then here comes Sean pay. I'm super excited about that. Like we're having candle night, candle dinners and watching film together, red Zone, this, that and the other. Just sitting there like in his office like everything's going everything's going great and everything else, and all of a sudden, you know, I'm I think I'm second and a see your second NFL and touchdown passes. But our record is not very good. We've been challenged along the way, and I think we got beat by like Miami seventies to twenty something like that. It was it was just a tricky situation and and then and then yeah, but then you know, like Vance Joseph does an amazing job. I remember playing in Chicago. We're down twenty eighty seven at halftime, and I remember the halftime is why why are we always losing? And I said, man, you guys are tired of losing. Quit talking like we're losing I quit. 02:05:28 Speaker 7: Acting like we're losing. 02:05:29 Speaker 11: We got to and so that shift and then all of a sudden, like I remember, Advance Joseph and I actually talk and I going up to him. I said, man, don't forget who you are. This is at halftime. After that, I went up to him and just I just remember, you know, talking to him one on one on the sideline right before the half. I said, we're gonna win this damn game. Like We're gonna win this game. And all of a sudden, like I said, Advance, just be you man. You're the hardest guys I've ever gone. And sure enough, like and it wasn't because of me, It's because of Vance and the defense. But I'm talking about just in those moments, moments of communication like and just I just remember, like us coming back and win that game, and all of a sudden, we got on a hot streak and we started winning a bunch of games. We'd beat Green Bay, we go we beat Kansas City and beating Kansas City and you know, I don't know, eight years something crazy like that. And then you know, also we had beat Minnesota. We'd beat a bunch of teams along the way, and we felt like we were like one of the hotter teams in football, and I felt like I was like, you know, like I'm me again, fully, you know, And there's a tricky situation where they, you know, they may go, I want to make a business decision and say we're going to bench you for the rest of your last nine games if you don't change the injury guarantee. I'm like, wait, what I'm going to I'm in the Halloween party, you know. So that was challenged. That was probably the most challenging piece because internally I knew what was going on. 02:06:42 Speaker 7: From the business standpoint, I didn't. 02:06:43 Speaker 11: It was kind of bs, to be honest with you, but like I'm dealing with that but also still trying to be a leader and still trying to be in the moment without letting anybody know. And I just remember going to Buffalo didn't know if I was going to play that following week against Buffalo Buffalo Bills, and I remember going to that like it. 02:06:59 Speaker 2: Just context to you on the business decision when they make the change. It's like if you were still in the field and you were to get hurt, they would have to owe you. 02:07:07 Speaker 7: Yeah. 02:07:07 Speaker 11: Yeah, that was part of the deal that we did. You know, that's everybody's dealing an injury guarantee. But if I if I said yes and they remove the injury guarantee, now all of a sudden, you know, I get injured in the following week, Right, I don't make that. And but the bigger issue is not just myself, but the rest of the NFL. If if I do it, it's gonna happen for everybody else. They're gonna make everybody else do it right and changing. So I'm not gonna set a bad president for NFL players, right. So so anyways, I'm like, listen, like I'm gonna figure out it's bye week. I don't know if I'm gonna be a play the following week. 02:07:37 Speaker 7: We're gonna let me play or not. 02:07:39 Speaker 11: So anyways, my point is is, like I remember playing Monday Night Football. They said, Okay, you're gonna play this game? Like am I gonna play the next ones? 02:07:45 Speaker 7: Like we don't know? 02:07:46 Speaker 2: And this is where you're you guys are going back and forth on this injury guarantee. 02:07:49 Speaker 10: Yeah, so like is you is your agent calling you and tell you this or are they coming up to you in the facility and being. 02:07:54 Speaker 11: Like Hey, this is this is bye weeks. I'm I'm in LA. But the thing is is that I don't know if I'm a Monday Night Football. 02:08:01 Speaker 2: Yeah right, that finally was. 02:08:02 Speaker 11: Playing Buffalo and we've got on a hot street. We started to beat these teams, Like wait, what do you mean? 02:08:06 Speaker 7: I'm not gonna play? 02:08:07 Speaker 11: And so all the way up to that following Monday, I didn't know coming up to the Monday Night Football And so like that game in particular, that whole week, I just had to go like almost cold internally to know that I gotta be I gotta be my dask no matter what. And that's always a week, but like this time, there's no there's no other option here, right, So like I remember making a double spin move, throwing in the back corner to Courtland sudden fourth down, he makes a crazy catch, and I just remember I don't really ever talk, you know. 02:08:36 Speaker 7: And I'm like. 02:08:39 Speaker 11: I remember coming to the silent and I was like you must not know me, you know, And I'm like I'm looking all this, looking at people, the energy and the juice, and like like like who you're talking whatever, I'm walking up and then and then the reviewing the play and I already know what it tucks. I'm like this, I'm like looking like it's a touchdown, like I know it court and they got his feet and they're like, is it a touchdowns? 02:08:58 Speaker 1: A not? 02:08:58 Speaker 8: You know? 02:08:58 Speaker 7: Is it that I have to touch And. 02:09:01 Speaker 11: There's really only one person I'm talking to in that moment, you know, yeah really, And so for me, it was like that's a touchdown, you know, And that was my mentality, like to flip on like you know, and so, but you know what's crazy is is that like the people, the players the bowls, Cortland, Sutton, guys like Javonte Williams, different guys I've been around, Tim Patrick, man, I wouldn't trade any of that because of the relationships the people that I got to be close with and listen and listen they they they obviously have bow now who's done an amazing job. Like I actually texted Bo post the game that he got hurt and and you know, stayed in touch with him a little bit and just like I don't have any jealousy in my heart. That's not my how my how I function. It's like man, like man, go shine bro like this that and the other. And I think the big part of it when you give to others is always returned back to you. And I've always learned that. So like, I think that like even though I had I felt like I throw twenty six touchdowns eight interceptions that year, I still had two games up to play. They benched me in the final out. I knew it was. That was it, And so like, okay, now what I want to do? 02:10:16 Speaker 8: Now? 02:10:16 Speaker 7: Where am I gonna go? 02:10:17 Speaker 11: And to go to Pittsburgh with Mike Tomlin, to go there with guys like Cam Heyward and TJ wid like I mentioned earlier, and be around that organization and that like old school football, like they're obsessed football and that fan base and the tow was like it was one of my coolest experience, isn't it? And even though it didn't you know, it was only a year there, it was one of my best experiences in the relationships I have there. Then going to New York and you know, playing there and I got to, you know, be around a great organization there that's you know, been you. 02:10:48 Speaker 7: Know, world class. 02:10:49 Speaker 11: I think what's what's been amazing about that is is like it was humbling. I had just threw four fifty three touchdowns against the Cowboys. Following I got a bench after the third game, and I say, Okay, this is different. But to be able to respond and react to that and still say, you know, I still have the C on my chest. 02:11:05 Speaker 7: I still gotta lead, I. 02:11:06 Speaker 11: Still gotta love, I still got to push, I still gotta so like nothing's taken away, that nothing's taken the love of the game away from me, and nobody can because if you really love it, and if it's unconditional, it can't be taken. And so I've been tested, and that's what part of overcoming is all about. 02:11:22 Speaker 8: Right. 02:11:22 Speaker 11: We all have challenges in our own personal lives. We have the challenges of things we've gone through physically injuries, you know, like I battled through injuries and playing through stuff. And then that's just what the job recalls, it calls for, as we all know that that's sitting here, and so sometimes those years may be not your best. But once you once you catch like once you hit fire again, it's like it's electric again. So that's just that's just you know, finding that that that that that gas again, that light again and doing that all over again. 02:11:50 Speaker 10: How was how was the relationship or how is the room in general in New York with Jackson Darwish. I'm sure you had the other creatine Caucasian cam's got it scampering around somewhere. 02:12:04 Speaker 13: Caucasians like we actually that's our we started that. 02:12:08 Speaker 10: Yeah, so yeah, dude, I mean they the way he's playing kid refuses to slide camp Scataboo will be on a bee line, He'll see somebody that I'll hit him instead. And then you know, Jameis Winston, who anytime he's in the public light, it's like the it's must see TV, Like what is that room? 02:12:27 Speaker 2: Like? 02:12:28 Speaker 11: You know what what's amazing about the room is, it's the personality is amazing. It's we're always up here, energy is always high. But I think what was amazing about the room is our work ethic. Like our work ethic was top notch. 02:12:40 Speaker 8: Every day. 02:12:40 Speaker 11: There was no like slacking of let's be ready to go, let's be ready to work, you know. And and I think we set the bar high, you know, and doing that every day, I try to set the bar high. I think James does a good job of that as well. And and Jackson you know too, He's a great competitor, you know, and obviously shows out on the field, how he plays, and so it was all always fun. It was always you know, a joy, even even in the midst of the storms and the tough stuff. Like I mean, we're there early in the morning's five, five thirty, you know, early in the morning, getting our workouts in and staying consistent with that all the way to you know, late in the season and being there untill eight thirty a night, watching films, still all together, you know, with the boys, you know, filming with the boys, filming the boys. But we uh, you know, those things are the love of the game never changes. 02:13:27 Speaker 7: And I think, like I said, it's unconditional. 02:13:30 Speaker 2: You how much different is the New York media compared to the other spots you've been. 02:13:34 Speaker 7: I don't know, man, I'm used to a lot of media I've been. 02:13:37 Speaker 11: Uh, I've been, you know, you know, I think in Seattle, you we were, we were, we were so freaking good. 02:13:44 Speaker 7: There was so much media always around. 02:13:45 Speaker 11: So I was used to it, you know, it was what it was, I think, you know, And Pittsburgh was similar to you know, Pittsburgh has a lot of media is in a great way, and I think obviously being in New York, there's no city like New York City, wor Old and so to me it was you know, it didn't really change anything for me. I've been used to a lot of noise, positively or negatively whatever. It's just I have a rule, like I don't watch ESPN during during the season. I've always been that way. 02:14:15 Speaker 2: Get upon the screen and the facility. 02:14:17 Speaker 11: I mean literally literally, if I'm like walk through the training room, locker room, it's like just been like peek, just keep going. But that's always been me since my rookie year. But that's during the season, you know, and like just keeping your head focused. 02:14:29 Speaker 10: That's a it's a very good to limit distractions because I mean I remember playing then that dreaded search bar on the Twitter. 02:14:35 Speaker 11: Yeah quotation through success though too. It's like, you know, like I said, I have been you know, ten eleven rounds of of high level ball at the highest level, and that can get you to you know, that can so like especially in the midst of a season. So how do you stay focused on just in the moment. And you know, I think one of the one of the gifts that God has given. 02:14:59 Speaker 7: Me one is a sermon. 02:15:01 Speaker 11: I think the two is just simply the ability to compartmentalize, you know, the ability to you know, take one thing and be in that moment and be where my feet are, and then to be in the next moment. 02:15:11 Speaker 7: Be where that is. 02:15:12 Speaker 11: And sometimes you got to combine the two. But sometimes you just leave that and do that really well and try to do this and try to overcome this and try to figure out how to do that well and do this and be in that and be in a vulnerable state, and that goes challenging and it's hard to do well. And then everything over here is going great, and then like, so how do you measure that? And how I've learned how to do that is just be in the moment where you are and then just letting it flow and just being in that. And so you know, I always talk about being neutral and not being too high, not being too low, just being right here and knowing that whatever sucks right now is probably going to turn to good, and whatever is good may not be great one day and you just gonna be like, Okay, well that's going to turn back to being great again, and just you just balance that and you understand that. And ultimately it's about the people year around, you know, and we can be around good people and do that love you and care and this and that, and knowing that they know that you're not perfect either in your flaw and you have tough stuff and you got life and at the same time, you got big dreams and goals. And as long as those people are in line with trying to make those things happen, I think that's what you really get addicted to and love. 02:16:14 Speaker 2: We interrupt this episode because we are brought to you by Jim Beam. Listen, boys, as you all know, we have now entered what could be the worst time of the year. That's right. Football is over. What are we supposed to on Sunday or Monday or Thursday? So much time, so little football? Whoa whoa whoa? 02:16:32 Speaker 1: Easy Now, just because football is over, the hang doesn't have to stop, because, believe it or not, there is a ton of stuff to be excited for, basketball, hockey, tennis, baseball. You had a really big soccer tournament right here in the good old US and a all to be enjoyed with a crisp, delicious and oh so refreshing Jim bean and lemonade. 02:16:54 Speaker 10: Ah. 02:16:55 Speaker 2: I get it. It's like you're taking the limit of football being over and turning it in to lemonade direction. 02:17:01 Speaker 1: I'm taking the lemon of football being over and turning it into Jim Beam and lemonade, baby, because Beam and lemonade is always the right call. It's light, flavor, keep brassing, and so so delicious. No matter what you or the boys are watching. 02:17:17 Speaker 2: You're so right because at the end of the day, no matter what sport you're pivoting to this offseason, it'll be best enjoyed together. 02:17:24 Speaker 1: Drink smart Jim Beam, Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskey forty percent alcohol by volume, Copyright twenty twenty six, James be Beam Distilling Co. If you look down, you're not nervous. Right, you go up another foot, you look down, you're nervous. And he shows a picture of this guy sleeping on top of a bridge like in New York City building these skyscrapers, and the guys are like don't have anything really much, and they're like they're probably have like a thing of alcohol in their hand. They're falling asleep, and they're laying asleep on the skyscraper in the middle afternoon. 02:19:46 Speaker 7: He's like, do you think those guys are scared? 02:19:49 Speaker 11: He's like, as you go higher, right, and this piece of wood that's you know, three feet wide. When it was on the ground, it wasn't scary. Right, When you get higher and higher, higher and you look down, it makes you a little nervous, right, But it's the same piece of wood. And so like you always like, I always love that visualization because as you go higher, right, and you're in the same fundamental space. But sometimes you look down, it's like and you're on the highest point of your life, you know, sometimes like it's a little nervous. 02:20:19 Speaker 2: Yeah, when you look down, like, okay, well what if I fall from here? 02:20:22 Speaker 7: You know, you can't think that way. 02:20:24 Speaker 11: Yeah, those guys aren't thinking that way. They're you know, building those skyscrapers. And if you want to build them, you got to go up there and climb and not be nervous, right, And so like those little moments I remember, I think that he was always the same Me and Pete were always in the same wavelength. I think one of the things that we always did really extremely well was I think the head coach and quarterback relationship has got to be on the same page. It's got to be the dynamic relationship of that is everything it moves the needle. It moves when you can be on the same page to the media. We can be on the same page. On the field, we can be on the same page in the locker room, be on the same page, you know, off the field, in the community, this and that and relationship, but the same page with the addiction to the game. 02:21:04 Speaker 7: That's when magic happens. 02:21:05 Speaker 11: And I think I was fortunate to be around Pete and you know, and I'm looking for that next relationship to do that with. But I think that's that's something that was really special. 02:21:15 Speaker 2: Did you ever think when you're having all those years in Seattle, you win the super Bowl, super Bowl early the twenty fifteen year, happens where you lose, did you ever think, like, hey, we'll be back here at some point and that's been the last time you've been at a super Bowl. 02:21:29 Speaker 11: Yeah, I think we all I think we always think that, you know, we always think that we're always going to be back. But I think it's it's not just about necessarily being back. It's just about being in the moments as you continue to go. Like the only way we got there was through hard work every day and the love for the game and some of the all time greats have never been to a super Bowl. 02:21:46 Speaker 7: Yeah, Like I think about the guys myself. 02:21:47 Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, you know, but I think when you think about like the all time great. 02:21:55 Speaker 2: Somebody to do in the first round. 02:21:58 Speaker 8: Yeah, you know. 02:22:00 Speaker 11: Sometimes Will loved his joke, but you know it's sometimes we get to the you know, we never get there. And I've been fortunately be able to get there twice and know how to get there. And I think, you know, like I said earlier at the very top of this earlier on is like guys like John Elway that I've always loved watching, you know, and when I was young, and different guys who along the way when they've you know, watching highlights or whatever it may be. You know, a guy who won at the end, you know, a guy like Peyton Manning who I've always admired and played against and competed against this and that, like, you know, he won the end, you know, and like why not win some at the end? 02:22:37 Speaker 8: Yea? 02:22:37 Speaker 7: Yeah, So that's kind of the mine, right the. 02:22:40 Speaker 10: Right the end of your story, the way you always saw it happening. How was I lost by trying? 02:22:44 Speaker 2: I thought, well, might have another one. 02:22:47 Speaker 11: What do you feel like for you guys, Like, Yeah, what's the journey been like for you guys transitioning from football to this? Obviously you guys have built this crazy you know business with this and everything else and all the viewership and everything else. 02:22:59 Speaker 7: Like what was the. 02:23:00 Speaker 11: Challenge and journey and that for you guys each individually? Obviously you know you world class and what you've done so going from being world class on football, and I don't I'm joking, but I'm also being serious, like being like, think about it, right, there's only sixteen hundred roughly a little bit more than that NFL guys a year. You know when you think about that, right, like your world class is eight point five billion people in the world, and we get to do get to you know, sack a quarterback. 02:23:27 Speaker 7: Every once on our intercept the ball or whatever it may be. 02:23:30 Speaker 11: You know. But like my point is is that, like when you think about all the things you guys have been accomplished throughout your lives careers, football and what football meant, I think just you know, the transition from that, what was the what was the one thing that you guys did extremely well to make that like jump to what you guys are doing now. 02:23:52 Speaker 2: I would say jump when you can afford to drown. I want to see. The biggest hurdle was probably fear for myself. I'll speak for myself, but when I was in what was that the sixer, gosh six or seventh year, it's just the fear of knowing, like what am I going to do when this is over with? For me, because I had five awesome years in Washington, loved playing there, and I signed with Tennessee on like a one year, smaller deal, and that year they also drafted Rashaan Evans, an inside backer, in the first round, so you kind of like know what time it is and in my spot, then I never root for injury, but if I'm going to get film, if I'm going to get on the field, you kind of need things to happen to where I have an opportunity to be out there. And so that didn't happen. So I was a backup and a special teams guy that entire year. I knew I was going to go into the market as a minimum sign contract veteran, which is fine, but part of me was like it was starting to set in like I could be I'm on the back nine, Like I don't know when this is going to end, like I might have one more year left, I might need the perfect situation. And I dabbled with the idea, like I remember writing in my journal in Washington, I love to have a podcast with one million downloads was the first. It was the first iteration where I started writing about the podcast and then kind of getting around the boys bringing it up, like Taylor Logan, Ryan we just saw him this week, but Derek Morgan when I would bring it up, they'd be like, hey, yeah, you should do it, you should do it. I talked Taylor into doing it, but I would say for me, it was just that fear of knowing, like I don't want to wait until after the game ends, because my joke when I'm we're like, what advice would you give the guys for when they're playing football or maybe after football. I'd be like, man, dive into your curiosities while you're playing, because your jokes are funny, you're better looking, and you can shake more hands, like when you are wearing the shield on you and don't wait because then when you wait and it's on the other side, like you know, you see the guys where and I'm not saying it's across the board, but just the vibe of when you're out of the league and trying to get something going, it's just a different it's a different feel for when you're trying to get something started versus when you have the momentum when you are pulling. 02:25:54 Speaker 11: It's great advice too for guys like, yeah, so I always say the NFL is not for long. Yeah, I tell you what, just focus on football. But at the same time, you know, the lifetime span of a guy's two and two point eight three years, So if you don't, you know, focus on building and crafting, but also staying focused and I think the ability to be disciplined. 02:26:10 Speaker 2: In that yeah, man. And so that just that whole mentality of like, man, I've really been curious to do this. Taylor's on board with doing it, Like I would hate to get to where I'm like, I regretted that we didn't start a podcast or I didn't start a podcast, because it's like do I go into coaching, Like what things am I interested in doing? And so I feel like at that moment, I was like, all right, if we start this podcast, now you're taking something and you're kind of making it more about yourself. Because we know growing you know, playing football, We've identified it our entire lives since like first or second grade. It's always sacrificed for the logo. And you see when guys retired, it's like the logo wants you to sacrifice for it while you're playing, but the moment you're done, it's not like they're there laying with you at night and holding your hands to the next thing. So I'm like, all right, if I play myself out of the league by having this podcast jump when you can afford your round, so be it, Like, let's just let's try it. Unfortunately, I get to play a few more extra years. I felt like I was playing with house money because I just found like the love I had for the game when I was a little kid. Because it's so business oriented, like when you're in the league, especially when you taste and you feel the teeth for the first time when you were like riding high and then a team doesn't sign resign you, or there's just all the ego involved where you're like, Okay, this isn't what I thought it would be at times, and so yeah, that's what I would say would be the hardest part of the biggest thing is getting over the mental hurdle of that fear of like all right, like let's do it, let's figure out, let's see if this works. 02:27:32 Speaker 10: It's so interesting hearing you say your perspective because we were, like Will and I were in totally different parts of our career when this podcast started. Like Will was thinking like, oh, I'm almost done, and I was always a guy that was like all eggs in one basket. If that doesn't work out, I'm sure I'll find something. So when it was like NFLPA is coming in. Hey, by the way, you guys can do all these things and make sure your network, I was like, dude, fuck that. Like I'm playing football. I am the guy that's going to just be the best I can at this and it's all gonna work out. So when Will comes to the tight from the Redskins, I just signed my my contract to be the highest paid player or highest plaid tackle. 02:28:06 Speaker 2: He was unlimited, a nice little bag. 02:28:14 Speaker 13: So I I meet my boy. 02:28:16 Speaker 10: We like obviously have like a great friendship like from the start, and when he comes to me with this idea, my first thought wasn't I gotta figure out what's next? It was it was still fear, but the fear was like, I wonder what people, my peers are going to think about this because it's so different because now there's so many podcasts that players do. Active NFL players, basketball players all over the place are doing this, But the time I don't think I I. I'm sure someone did, but no one was doing this before that. So it was like a fear of like, Okay, I'm gonna go especially and all the things like we're all brainwashing the idea that like when you play football like it's a team sport, and if you make it about yourself at all, like you're cheating the game and you're cheating your brothers. And by me stepping out and being doing this podcast, it was like, am I kind of like, am I fucking the boys over? I kind of felt like. 02:29:03 Speaker 2: In the media could take it any bite that you have and turn it into whatever they want. 02:29:06 Speaker 10: And dude, the first podcast we did was with Delaney Walker and he talked about getting an IV with too much air in it that the Titans gave him and he couldn't play a game. 02:29:14 Speaker 13: It was a preseason game. 02:29:14 Speaker 10: He thought he was gonna die. So the next day I go into practice or whenever it came out. I go into OTA's practice and we in the training staff is looking at me like I killed somebody in their family, and I'm like, what's what's this all about? Going to a team meeting and Vrabel pulls up that clip and let's it just play, And I'm sitting there in this thing like this is the biggest mistake I could have possibly made his doing this, and Babel's just like, Hey, if you guys want to have cute little media platforms, go ahead, but just know that the media is gonna take anything you say and it's gonna twist it against you. 02:29:44 Speaker 13: So that was probably the first year and a half. 02:29:47 Speaker 11: How do you respond to that part of it with that, because you know, like I you know when you like you said, well you got the bag like yourself or there was there's. 02:29:55 Speaker 7: A level of security. 02:29:57 Speaker 10: Yeah, there was definitely a level of security. But you know what it is like when you're high paid, like you're there's an expected. 02:30:01 Speaker 7: Leader, That's what I mean. 02:30:02 Speaker 11: There becomes like a like you said, it comes more challenging because the higher you go, there's there's a different level of yeah, right, because you look down and it's like you said earlier, like you're on that skyscraper. 02:30:14 Speaker 7: Yeah, your highest. 02:30:15 Speaker 10: Paid left tackle, and just use your your skyscraper analogy like I'm building a skyscraper in football and I got my boy over here and being like, let's build this up here. So I essentially jump off that to go to this and jump back and forth, hoping like everything kind of works out. 02:30:27 Speaker 2: So Taylor calls me right after the meeting and tells me I'm not this my year. My one year had finished. I'm a free agent at this time. But I'm like, oh shit, Rabel's pissed. Like I'm feeling like I'm still fearing the fear of God that Rabel can bring to you at times, and it's we're just like, essentially, you, we gotta be careful, even though we do want to do this. 02:30:45 Speaker 10: So we get like ten episodes in and Rabel is like, Okay, I'll come do your little podcast. 02:30:51 Speaker 7: I'll do it. 02:30:51 Speaker 10: And then that's where we had the viral clip of him saying he'd cut us Peace off for a Super Bowl and when he had that, it was like that Rabel coming on was all seem massive for our brand, but it was also a massive for like me, freedom knowing that like okay, Like by him coming on, he's essentially toast sign like it's okay that you're doing. 02:31:08 Speaker 2: Yeah, giving us like a verification. 02:31:10 Speaker 10: And I know, I know you got to get out of here. But there's like there's a whole world of during the season, like I I don't want to go. Let's say I have a bad football game and then I'm on Monday. But like guys welcome into bus road with the boys ball and it's like, oh, this guy doesn't care about football, when really it's a complete opposite, like I care like my extracurricular outside. Like guys are playing video games, they're investing in real estate, they're doing all these other things. Mine's just where you can see exactly what I'm doing and when I'm doing it. But it's hard to portray that to the problem. 02:31:37 Speaker 11: That's a really good point because I think, like you said that Scripe skyscraper level becomes everybody. There's a there's a microscope on everything you do. And then, as you mentioned, like some guy's obsession maybe video games and that's fine, like they play two K all day. Yeah, Like meanwhile, you may be like for me, like I like business that's my big thing. So I want to create real business, real relationships. But also because it is what I was trained to do. When I was young. My dad used to always say, hey, create a business. We'd be in the car. I'd be eight years old, Hey what's your business. I did create this, and that was something that was important to me in the relationship I had with my dad, my mom and what I wanted to do, you know. So it was always I was always using my imagination in a different way. Another person may use their imagination by by drawing whatever they get. 02:32:20 Speaker 7: Some guys that like love art, whatever it may be. 02:32:22 Speaker 11: And so like, we're still human and we're still you know, we still have liked interest, you know, outside the game. And like I said earlier, you know, the NFL stands not for long. So when you go with that rookie SYMPOSI in the first day, the guy walks on stage and he's like, your first day, I'll never forget it. He walks on stage. Is what does the NFL stand for? Like National Football League? It's like no, And I'm like, he's like, not for long, he said, start thinking about plan B. Now that's when you're a rookie. But then when you have success, nobody wants you to think about plan B. 02:32:53 Speaker 13: Isn't that crazy? 02:32:54 Speaker 11: Which is interesting? Yeah, So like there's this dynamic of the fear of okay, okay, well hopefully I make it. I was a third round pick, third string quarterback coming into training camp. I'm zoned in focused this and that. But then at the same time, I have this love for business. I was handing out business cards at NC State. 02:33:12 Speaker 7: I had no business. 02:33:14 Speaker 11: I love that I need a business card business, and I was handing it out to people just so I could get their emails. 02:33:20 Speaker 7: Man, I iced to meet you boo. 02:33:21 Speaker 11: And I just did that on my own creative thought because I wanted to have relationships and emails and numbers and people that I could stay in touch with when when the game was over. 02:33:29 Speaker 7: Right, But I was doing that. That wasn't new. I was doing that. 02:33:32 Speaker 11: Was a freshman in college and so like I also remember too being a freshman in college at NC State, and I always had my shirt tucked in. I used to get made fun of it for it, and I'll never forget. I remember JR. Sweezy being like, bro, I appreciate you, Like huh. He was like, mat you always consistent. You always had your shirt down, and he would always tuck your shirt in. But like it was funny because that small little detail you get made fun of because you're trying to be professional and trying to be focused. When I'm inside the white lines, when I'm inside the weight room, when I'm inside the building, when i'm. 02:34:02 Speaker 7: That's what I do. 02:34:05 Speaker 11: Okay, Now somebody else, they do the same thing, but they may want to do something else that their love is. They may love, like I said earlier, maybe video games. Mine was playing college baseball, Mine was doing whatever. And so like we all these love and passions, but also too from a sometimes even from a fan based standpoint or a humanizing standpoint, people judge you because, oh, he doesn't love the game. 02:34:26 Speaker 7: But you're not there at far or four forty five in the morning when I'm getting treatment. 02:34:29 Speaker 13: Or right right, they will tell you about my. 02:34:32 Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, you're not there when it's hard and it's you're getting treatment till one o'clock in the morning because you got to be able to play for the next week. Like that's that's the everyday piece of us. Right to be successful, to be one of the one thousand, six hundred and have very many players that there is right and so I just think that that's it's a it's an interesting dynamic, and I think obviously what you guys have grass I was curious, like what you guys created, the timing of what you did and the success that you guys have had, and obviously seeing that with guys like Pat mac if he's seen what you guys have done, and that's you know, I think the opportunity to come on the show with you guys, you know, and just being on a show. I know you guys have talked a little bit about me along the way. 02:35:09 Speaker 2: I've taken a walk before you watch, I was talked about watching a billion hours of film when you flew. I think to Denver, is that. 02:35:15 Speaker 7: What it was? 02:35:16 Speaker 13: It was like hours of film? 02:35:18 Speaker 2: Yeah, I think he said he watched every game eight thousand. 02:35:21 Speaker 11: Come on, I know if I say I said eight thousand, but I watched every game? 02:35:25 Speaker 2: Yeah, I was, Yeah, I was jumping about that. He came on, I've watched every bit of film, and I'm thinking, come on, man, I will say this. 02:35:38 Speaker 10: We have talked a little bit, We've used some Josh's but it's big of you to come on and hang out because. 02:35:43 Speaker 11: I saw you guys the whole You're like, hey, would you would you come on the shlf? 02:35:46 Speaker 7: Like, yeah, you guys, I was with the boys. But no, I think that, man, I just think that. No, I'm grateful. I listen. I know what, when you, like I said, when you play. 02:36:00 Speaker 11: In the international football, you can get to do what I've been fortunate to be able to do with the amazing teammates, amazing people, amazing organizations and stuff. And you you sometimes you have the crown on your head and all that everybody wants to shoot at you. 02:36:14 Speaker 7: That's that's just part of. 02:36:15 Speaker 8: It, you know. 02:36:16 Speaker 11: But the crown is heavy. But at the same time, you know, I've also been to the tough place in the valley and known that obstacle too, and climbing out of that and like I said, being pushed up sometimes and you know, having some help and like to me, you know, I've always known there's gonna be critics, and there's always gonna be stuff, and there's always gonna be jokes and there's all and you. 02:36:34 Speaker 7: Gotta have thick skin, man. 02:36:35 Speaker 11: Like at the end of the day, Man, I get the ball in my hands, I got to do it again, and like all I want to do is win another ring hopefully too. 02:36:42 Speaker 7: And you know, like for me, it's just like that's just what I love. 02:36:46 Speaker 11: And and if I don't get to do it, you know, win another super Bowl again, like you know what, Like I know that I gave my all every day and nobody I've ever played with can say that. Russell Wilson didn't give us all like a period. And you love me, hate me, don't like me. I don't care, it doesn't matter. I love the game probably more than anybody else and how I go about it, And so for me, it's just being focused on the next moment, you know, being gratitude. And that's with all the success. And that's also the same same thought. You've had a little tough time and little failure along the way, and is it really failure. I just think it's lessons along the way and and so man like, it's been good to be on Busting with the boys, and it's good good to you know, have a little fun on here. 02:37:25 Speaker 13: And official friend with the Show, Official friend of the show. 02:37:29 Speaker 2: Appreciate. What do you what do you see now? What's the feeling in your body when you watch the dangerous a subway sandwich commercial. Man. 02:37:38 Speaker 11: Like, the funny thing is that commercial was out for a little bit and it wasn't anything. 02:37:43 Speaker 8: You know. 02:37:43 Speaker 7: Like the funny thing is is that, like that commercial was. 02:37:46 Speaker 11: Out I don't know how long, probably several months, you know, maybe even before it started off. But I didn't have social media at the time. So like my first year and dimmer, I'm playing this torn light like I said, and I wasn't even seeing this stuff. So like I never the less ride. You seen the less right, but I wasn't seen on social media. I wasn't on social media for like ninety percent of the year, eighty percent of the year, so I wasn't seeing that part of it. So what's funny is is that like I got to the end of the season, the season's over this and that like probably two weeks later after the season, you know whatever, I'm like by myself and I think I'm seas with me or whatever, and I'm like, I like down on Twitter again whatever, and I like see all this stuff and I'm like, oh, that's what people were saying. Yeah, all right, Like and so like what's just crazy because like you just you know what, like. 02:38:42 Speaker 7: You know, you gotta you gotta be able to just be like whatever like. 02:38:46 Speaker 11: And I think part of it is that I've been fortunate, like I said, I've been very very blessed be around so many great teammates, so many great people, so many great coaches and things too. 02:38:54 Speaker 7: Along the way in organization. 02:38:56 Speaker 11: But you know, I go back to my time in Seattle and we've you know, been up here, and then it doesn't go that way. 02:39:02 Speaker 7: It's like, ah god, you know, it's like. 02:39:04 Speaker 11: It's okay, I'm gonna come, I'm gonna show up again. And it maybe in like I think that part of it, like I said, sixteen round fight ten, eleven of them have been great. Okay, maybe the past couple haven't been as grades I want him to be. But doesn't mean I won't win fifteen and sixteen. And I'll bet on myself every day just because of the work ethic and the mentality. And you can't make me waiver. Like like I said, my love for the game is unconditional. It's unconditional, and that doesn't change. 02:39:29 Speaker 7: Like and so h we'll strap. 02:39:31 Speaker 11: It up, we'll blow's will blow again, and we'll go and we'll see what happens. 02:39:35 Speaker 2: Do you see, do you understand why it's hard to do thirty minutes? Tough? It's tough to do thirty minutes. 02:39:41 Speaker 7: We got, we got the heat, we got the con asking the bud like question. 02:39:44 Speaker 2: I like question, you know if people do anything anything anybody? People would do anything for an ice cold bud light? What would Russell Wilson do anything for? 02:39:52 Speaker 13: Can't say family? 02:39:54 Speaker 1: What? 02:39:54 Speaker 8: Wait? 02:39:55 Speaker 7: So who would I do anything for? What would I do? 02:39:57 Speaker 9: It? 02:39:57 Speaker 2: Can be anything? What would you do anything for? 02:39:59 Speaker 11: I can't say kids, anything for like anything like anything? 02:40:04 Speaker 2: Would do anything for? 02:40:06 Speaker 7: Mmmm? 02:40:09 Speaker 11: I don't know, man, I think I would say I would do anything to sit with my dad again. 02:40:15 Speaker 7: My dad is no longer. 02:40:16 Speaker 2: Living like in a row. Ahead, go and keep going to me. 02:40:22 Speaker 11: That would be like the one thing that I would do anything for, like for for my kids, for see, but my kids to see my dad again, to see like they never saw him, but to see him like but for me to sit down and talk to him again, you know, like to go through the great moments but also talk about the tough moments. I know he's been watching them all from from up above, But like, what was your perspective that what would you do different? What would you tell me, Like what would you pat me on the back and say. 02:40:50 Speaker 7: You did great? 02:40:50 Speaker 11: You know, like like to that to me would be like the one thing that if I had anything to ask for again, would be that. 02:40:57 Speaker 10: Bo Jackson said something very so he said his mom and it's just admitute both of you said it. It's like you kind of want to cry. 02:41:04 Speaker 2: Yeah, because I lost my mom a couple of years ago. So when Bo came out of left field, because he had a big pause when he said it, and he's like sit with my mom again, and you saying it about your dad, like knowing your story about you know when that happened. Yeah, I love the answer. 02:41:18 Speaker 7: We all go through stuff. 02:41:19 Speaker 11: Yeah, life is challenging, but it's about the people who were around. It's about the people that have influenced us. It's a people of the people that also hurt us along the way that we got to just like forgive too, and like you know, like that was a lesson. Maybe God gave us that tough stuff so that way we can also improve for somebody else down the road. And all the things that we go through, right, and it's like, man, like I just wish I could be with my dad again. There's a great Luther Vandrous song like with my father, and he's like, like, I could spend time my father again whatever. So like I think about that song all the time. 02:41:48 Speaker 7: You know. But yeah, so that would be the one thing that's beautiful. 02:41:54 Speaker 10: Man. 02:41:54 Speaker 13: We we really appreciate taking the time. 02:41:56 Speaker 7: I appreciate you, guys. 02:41:57 Speaker 13: Official friend of the. 02:41:58 Speaker 10: Show, Russell Wilson go Yeah, got him in a national note. 02:42:02 Speaker 13: His team's like he'll never come on again. 02:42:03 Speaker 2: He's there. 02:42:03 Speaker 10: It's in an hour, So we'll get you out here in thank you Sorry. 02:42:14 Speaker 1: Twenty one plus and present in select states for Kansas in affiliation with Kansas Star Casino, or eighteen plus and present in DC opt in required bonus issued as non withdrawable profit boost tokens.
