[SPEAKER_03]: Welcome to the Forty K-Lorecast.
[SPEAKER_03]: Welcome to Forty Key Lowercast with me, John Barside and Brad Chester.
[SPEAKER_03]: This guy on today's episode, we're going to start our dive into the shiniest of all of the space marines, but also the most secretive faction, the great nights.
[SPEAKER_03]: And we're going to do that by not talking about the great nights.
[SPEAKER_03]: Basically, yeah, but we are going to talk with the flight of the ice this time cool story.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so it's like my favorite story.
[SPEAKER_03]: So we're good and the actions of what what I know is the nights aren't before we begin as always Please like and comment on the cast.
[SPEAKER_03]: We've had an explosion recently in viewers and it really has been remarkable good yeah
[SPEAKER_03]: That's because we got top ranked, like, even higher than ever on Spotify and on Apple.
[SPEAKER_03]: We are now, if I believe the top ranked, Forty Kayba, I guess.
[SPEAKER_03]: Suck it, everybody else, because I'm competitive.
[SPEAKER_03]: What is this?
[SPEAKER_04]: If anybody's the thing is is that it's because, and I hate saying this is the...
[SPEAKER_04]: panel.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's because of you, but it is because the way that the metrics work with you guys subscribing, you guys putting comments out, it puts us out to other people.
[SPEAKER_04]: So please keep doing it.
[SPEAKER_03]: You guys are doing an incredible job as listeners and it really doesn't mean a lot because these programs, these companies, they understand that people try to cheat the algorithm and because of what we're doing, it's so organic that we actually get a promoted up on some of their stuff.
[SPEAKER_03]: We're getting new users.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is great.
[SPEAKER_03]: So thank you for all of you who've left the comments.
[SPEAKER_03]: Especially those who've written some of the funnier ones.
[SPEAKER_03]: Please keep doing it.
[SPEAKER_03]: If you write a comment and it's about like the audio not being good, you know, I don't post it because go back and re-list into that episode now.
[SPEAKER_03]: We've now fully remastered episodes one through thirty and I should have the rest done with the next couple of weeks.
[SPEAKER_03]: And this is early September that I'm recording this.
[SPEAKER_03]: So if in the future you're like, what was the audio issues you talked about?
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_04]: Ready for old-band reference of the week?
[SPEAKER_04]: Every time you say remaster, I think who's the master from the last dragon?
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's what, eighty-two?
[SPEAKER_04]: Dear God.
[UNKNOWN]: Dear God.
[SPEAKER_03]: Dear God.
[SPEAKER_03]: I was just going to remaster like they did.
[SPEAKER_04]: Bruce Lee Roy.
[SPEAKER_04]: I was going to show enough.
[SPEAKER_03]: I was going with remaster like they did all the audio from the music you're still listening to.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's different because the guys recorded it all the way.
[SPEAKER_04]: On what the track?
[SPEAKER_04]: In this cast, I'm about to get the glow and the four people that know what I'm talking about.
[SPEAKER_04]: We'll be excited that I said that.
[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry, but in the last episode, we had talked about how I didn't see Avatar for a while.
[SPEAKER_03]: Don't tell anyone.
[SPEAKER_03]: If you want to interact with us or anyone about this type of topic, we do have a discord.
[SPEAKER_03]: The links in the notes.
[SPEAKER_03]: The discord is really grown massively at time of recording.
[SPEAKER_03]: We were over a thousand members by the time of publishing or whenever you the list are listening to this who knows.
[SPEAKER_03]: But it's grown a lot.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's been really great because it's been a spot that originally I think started out just away for people interact with us.
[SPEAKER_03]: Tell us stuff.
[SPEAKER_03]: We got wrong.
[SPEAKER_03]: Tell us the things that they want to hear us do more about, which is a hundred percent still there.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's nothing now.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, now we have people who are new to the hobby, looking for advice on painting, modeling, et cetera, advice on gameplay, advice on anything, but also people talking about video games, cough cough, space marine too.
[SPEAKER_03]: This stuff's become, it's really blown up and been a great area for that.
[SPEAKER_03]: So if you're looking for a place to interact around that, or if you just want to ask your questions of, hey, I just finished, you know, the night lord trilogy, what should I get into next?
[SPEAKER_03]: And getting, you know, real reviews from other people is a
[SPEAKER_03]: I did.
[SPEAKER_04]: I love this.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's real reviews from people that are passionate about, you know what I mean?
[SPEAKER_04]: It's not a, hey, you should do this because it's, yeah, it's relevant.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, it's, and it's also not red air.
[SPEAKER_03]: He'll be trying to get upvoted.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's, it's, it's, this is why personally I like discord so much because there is, there are no like, or maybe there are discard rewards.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm also forty three, so I don't pay attention to everything.
[SPEAKER_03]: But the idea is that this cords are really great place to just to interact because it's, you don't get anything for having higher engagement.
[SPEAKER_03]: You just get the reward of people talking to you.
[SPEAKER_03]: So it's great.
[SPEAKER_03]: There is, it is of course, it was bring it up completely free to join.
[SPEAKER_03]: I bring that for two reasons.
[SPEAKER_03]: One, so more of you join, it's free to join in two for anyone listening who has a, whether it discord the charge for shame on you.
[SPEAKER_04]: It was really upgraded from fuck you.
[SPEAKER_03]: I like it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, because one guy made a comment.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, can you, like, curse less than I went?
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's fair.
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I do.
[SPEAKER_03]: I have, I have a fighter all day, probably.
[SPEAKER_03]: My wife says the same thing of, you know, your son is used the effort with perfect context.
[SPEAKER_03]: And my response was, was it perfect context, though?
[SPEAKER_03]: Cause, all right, all right, also.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, perfect, perfect context.
[SPEAKER_03]: I've heard him do it a few times where I was like, um, buddy, like, I don't know what to do here.
[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, also on that note, we talked about earlier, we just also link to our Patreon.
[SPEAKER_03]: If you like what we're doing, and you want to help us kind of continue to expand the Patreon's the best way for us to do this.
[SPEAKER_03]: You can come on and just subscribe to it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Give us it's five dollars a month.
[SPEAKER_03]: That money goes into stuff like audio equipment.
[SPEAKER_03]: We have we've hired an audio engineer to help us with cleaning up the podcast a little bit in the future.
[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to be stepping into YouTube and some other areas, you know, some new websites being made through this.
[SPEAKER_03]: It helps.
[SPEAKER_04]: planning on doing a live cast.
[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you very much.
[SPEAKER_04]: John's face just dropped as soon as I said that to the argues with me the entire time.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, we're planning on it between now and the end of time.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's a matter of like
[SPEAKER_04]: They're not like, he'll pass away before.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, there's not as date.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's my official on it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, yeah, we will do it.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, but this is something that this is where the patron really does help us out.
[SPEAKER_03]: Cause the truth is, I'm sure you can't even guys, it's a free time thing.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, it's just, I don't have the time to do a lot of this stuff.
[SPEAKER_03]: So being able to use, hire someone to do some of this stuff, just makes my life a lot easier.
[SPEAKER_03]: And the patrons, how we're doing that.
[SPEAKER_03]: So for those of you who have given me the patron on it, cannot thank you enough.
[SPEAKER_03]: And I really do hope that the improved audio has meant a lot to you cause you're the ones who paid for it.
[SPEAKER_03]: And for those of you who are looking to help us out, it is, it's the best way to do it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Last little piece though, because Brad's here is Brad's old, and he plays a lot of Forty-K.
[SPEAKER_04]: He's downgraded so much.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's not.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm joking.
[SPEAKER_03]: I like that he's Brad.
[SPEAKER_03]: Brad is a coach of Forty-K.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's also one of the best Forty-K players in the globe, and has been for a long time.
[SPEAKER_03]: There's one out of four episodes.
[SPEAKER_03]: I get you a lot of times.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: We're so just one off positive.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Brad has had a lot of successful successful experience, both playing the game.
[SPEAKER_03]: But more importantly, also coach in the game.
[SPEAKER_03]: Brad has coached a lot of very successful tournament players.
[SPEAKER_04]: So for you looking for, for that's on the measure of success on that.
[SPEAKER_04]: So why you didn't people?
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's a game.
[SPEAKER_03]: Everything else.
[SPEAKER_03]: What I mean by that is that people a lot of them everyone says they want to be a coach.
[SPEAKER_03]: To me being a good coach is the ability to take the elite and make them good because if you can do that, you can also take people who are new and make them better.
[SPEAKER_03]: You understand the game at a higher level.
[SPEAKER_03]: The thing you don't want in a coach is a coach who has a ceiling.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's always been the issue because then you have to change coaches partway through and end up you end up falling down.
[SPEAKER_04]: One of my favorite parts is the fact that in the notes, we don't even get my line from this.
[SPEAKER_04]: You don't even write it in anymore.
[SPEAKER_03]: Which one?
[SPEAKER_04]: Where to reach me?
[SPEAKER_03]: That's right there.
[SPEAKER_03]: You can reach him at its underscored.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: I leave it blank because I can't even mind my mentality.
[SPEAKER_04]: Old man, Brad Forty-K at gmail.com.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we're just going to our website, the Forty-K-Lorecast.com.
[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to Brad's website www.doesn't-exist.com.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just really going back into it.
[SPEAKER_03]: What is this?
[SPEAKER_03]: Ninety-eight.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, oh, I don't have a web page yet.
[SPEAKER_03]: You have a. Working on it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: I have a team of experts.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Top men.
[SPEAKER_03]: Top men.
[SPEAKER_03]: Top men.
[SPEAKER_04]: Top men.
[SPEAKER_04]: Top men.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that's going to be taken out of context.
[SPEAKER_04]: As well as Jerry go out there there's a clip and I just don't every dumb thing.
[SPEAKER_04]: I just think it's instantly clipped.
[SPEAKER_04]: I just accepted him.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's fine.
[SPEAKER_03]: I onto the cast.
[SPEAKER_03]: So we're going to start with really I would argue the best book.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's one if he's on the best the top two books of the horror serercy, the flight of the eyes and time.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's so good.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not sure what's rises might be the best.
[SPEAKER_04]: Horace rises is, you have to put it by itself, though, because it's the beginning of an epic.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm just saying that.
[SPEAKER_03]: The flight device in the sky and I felt was a very old written action pack.
[SPEAKER_03]: You need the other information, unfortunately, for it.
[SPEAKER_04]: But once you set the lens on campus, the Horace rising sets the stage.
[SPEAKER_04]: But like as a standalone tale, this is fantastic.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: The only, literally, I have one complaint in the flight of Eisenstein.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's not the book.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's the complaint that the drop off after flight flights in the Stines pretty aggressive.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, if you read the books in order, you read flight of Eisenstein and you are super excited.
[SPEAKER_03]: I think the book that released after that is Dark Angels.
[SPEAKER_03]: which is the story of line where you're like, it's not a bad book, but it's not this exciting.
[SPEAKER_03]: So anyway, flight of ice in this time.
[SPEAKER_03]: So we covered this, but it's been about a year.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, and we also covered last week.
[SPEAKER_03]: So it was the very, very quick recap.
[SPEAKER_03]: On to the Horace Heresy, the Space Marine factions were unknowingly, to half of them being split between Loyalist and Trader.
[SPEAKER_03]: Horace decides he's going to make a play at one point and kind of deal the size of the blow to the ones who are not going to join him.
[SPEAKER_03]: Or the inner two part deal, but that's a different story.
[SPEAKER_03]: But before he could do that, he had to look internal to prevent challenges from within.
[SPEAKER_03]: So he, Horace needed, not only did he have to take a swing at the Loyalist legions, he also had to remove any loyalists from within his own.
[SPEAKER_03]: In order to do this, he had to know who within his own legion were loyal.
[SPEAKER_03]: This leads us to the warrior lodges, which were, as we discussed last time, but by the very great idea, no, they weren't.
[SPEAKER_03]: They were a great idea.
[SPEAKER_03]: I stand by this.
[SPEAKER_03]: Name one time they worked out well.
[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't say they worked.
[SPEAKER_03]: I said they were a great idea.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's like saying it's looking no great idea has a hundred percent fail rate.
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, there was ware lodges in some of the Linus chapters and they're fine.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, all of the white scars turned, turned trade or they did kill them all.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's not a Bradford wine sawless.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm great idea.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like the only ones who didn't have a problem were the ones who didn't have them.
[SPEAKER_04]: Look man, they just wanted to give talks between people as equals.
[SPEAKER_03]: And that sounds like a goddamn great idea.
[SPEAKER_03]: We're both people who like to talk too much, but apparently there's a limit.
[SPEAKER_03]: And the war here at Lodge is that.
[SPEAKER_04]: So anyway, apparently, if you get a bunch of Marines together, all of their ideas go into, how can we kill everybody that's not here, right?
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: So anyway.
[SPEAKER_03]: My bad.
[SPEAKER_03]: The warrior lodges were in reality.
[SPEAKER_03]: Spirits.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's what they really were.
[SPEAKER_03]: It was a place where people would sit around and discuss things.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they were trying to kill everyone.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and later it was effectively, but there was, it was build.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is very KGB-esque to me.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's how I was viewed them, which is why Brad's not as groaning as you guys can't see, because the idea of the warrior lodge was we're all going to talk openly, but we're going to have spies in there who are going to plant certain things to see whatever in response to and then mark down what their response was.
[SPEAKER_04]: Look, the warrior lodge has got them good idea made up by the KGB.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not saying.
[SPEAKER_04]: that it worked out, choking the death here on the suckiness of how this all worked out.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you had a great play.
[SPEAKER_03]: You really, you really believed in this and I'm just ripping it to shreds because it's fine.
[SPEAKER_03]: I did believe.
[SPEAKER_03]: I still believe.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it was, you're, you're on teen KGB.
[SPEAKER_04]: These, I mean, you're not wrong.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I, also, I did think you was a good idea.
[SPEAKER_03]: So Horace has to have a plan to deal with those who are loyal to the Emperor.
[SPEAKER_03]: So Horace tells all of his legions that there's a rebellion is fun, three, and he's going to bring all of his legions together to Quelet.
[SPEAKER_04]: But with a positive quick, the only thing I don't like about both the dropside mascara and the stand at three is the fact that they went, this is this mysterious thing that no one's ever heard about and it definitely takes the combined forces of multi.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's just three.
[SPEAKER_03]: So the thing is, it's gone three was requires the combined force to handle one plant.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's fun for us when they told everyone, hey, some guys turn turn trader, you got to come deal with it.
[SPEAKER_03]: So that's why you were able to bring a lot more.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'll give you a stamp.
[SPEAKER_04]: The drop site massacre makes more sense.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, one is like this one was going to be.
[SPEAKER_04]: We are over killing the shit on a random room.
[SPEAKER_03]: The why are we all here?
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, and that's why I think it's Garville, Logan, or I can sniff it out.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's looking.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's looking sniffed it out.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: So because it makes no sense.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_04]: Like literally why are we here?
[SPEAKER_03]: It's also why this book so well done.
[SPEAKER_03]: In reality, what he's going to do though, Horace is he's not going to deploy his entire legion on his phone.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's going to deploy select groups of each legion.
[SPEAKER_03]: And you can guess, you know, who these select groups are made up.
[SPEAKER_03]: And he's going to kill the shit out of the funny part, by the way, his phone three was not in rebellion at all.
[SPEAKER_03]: They were just going about their daily lives.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, there's nobody there.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's why it's so easily snipped up because it's just a random planet that's really clamped with the big guys.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, oh, hey, there's a lot of ships in orbit.
[SPEAKER_03]: What's going on?
[SPEAKER_04]: It's Tuesday.
[SPEAKER_04]: We're celebrating bread day.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and so Horace's plan is to basically, is to invade and then once all the loyal, all his internal loyalists are down there, they hit him with a life-eater virus, which we've never talked about before.
[SPEAKER_03]: So I won, or maybe we did, but we did for a year ago.
[SPEAKER_03]: So if we're doing it because I like the life-eater virus.
[SPEAKER_03]: First off, it's not a virus.
[SPEAKER_03]: Viruses couldn't spread the virus.
[SPEAKER_04]: One of the guys in Deathguard is made up of life.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, you can't be a virus because the way virus is spread.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is a bacteria.
[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm just going to say right now, it would have to be a bacteria science.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because it's actually going to be like again, just call the life-eater bacteria.
[SPEAKER_02]: Who cares?
[SPEAKER_02]: Or you can just say it's magic.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, or the life-eater.
[SPEAKER_03]: Who cares?
[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, what it does is, sorry, you didn't like the way that the magic went down.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, call it magic, and I have no complaints.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's the thing.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's our voice.
[SPEAKER_03]: Don't say it.
[SPEAKER_03]: She won't drink it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he didn't call it magic.
[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm like, OK, yeah, it's magic.
[SPEAKER_03]: That works.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's when they're like, oh, it's a virus.
[SPEAKER_03]: But that's not how viruses replicate.
[SPEAKER_03]: So anyway, the life eater virus, it's not that in facts.
[SPEAKER_03]: And it doesn't all organic matter.
[SPEAKER_03]: So it touches, it's in the touch.
[SPEAKER_03]: It breaks it down into its most basic components.
[SPEAKER_03]: And apparently, one of our basic components is methane.
[SPEAKER_03]: Ken, it's not.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, not true story.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, one.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's one of not a main one.
[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't say it was a main.
[SPEAKER_03]: I said it's mostly carbon.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm technically correct.
[SPEAKER_03]: The virus eats you and turns you into methane.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, this is why I think it's going to be a bacteria because it's in theory.
[SPEAKER_03]: It would be consuming matter and then turning it into methane and with people in our discord who actually are biologists and they're going to correct me if I'm wrong here or tell me I'm right either way.
[SPEAKER_03]: But anyway, the planet effectively, all the matter begins to dissolve and turn to methane, and then you hit the planet with a match, you know, all the eighties action movie, and the entire planet just burns instantly.
[SPEAKER_04]: So a bummer for the people that lived there than had nothing to do with that.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: So it's a nice one-two combo of murder.
[SPEAKER_03]: So you either get eaten by the virus and turned into methane, or if you somehow duck the virus, the entire planet catches fire,
[SPEAKER_03]: which they don't cover this because no one ever does with fire explosions, fire consumes oxygen.
[SPEAKER_03]: The reason like whenever you see a movie and someone like there's a big fire explosion, they duck behind something.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's great.
[SPEAKER_03]: The fire will suck the air out of your lungs.
[SPEAKER_03]: I know it's like this, this I do know is a fact, you'll already pull the air out of your lungs and you will suffocate.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, I digress.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, you know, though, they had, um, they have space suits.
[SPEAKER_03]: So they're probably okay, right?
[SPEAKER_03]: They're back in sealed Brad, back in sealed space suits.
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, back in sealed, you couldn't get a fly inside of them.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: And with with an auction supply, so they could totally survive this this day in a filter free of them.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm three of them.
[SPEAKER_03]: As we were discovering in the last couple casts, this is the key one is, Mortarian.
[SPEAKER_03]: Mortarian had converted most of his legion over from Terranborn to Barbara's born.
[SPEAKER_03]: And at the time of Esteban, he sent all of his Terranborn down to Esteban because they were terrible, except for a one guy.
[SPEAKER_03]: and the one guy is Nathaniel Garrow.
[SPEAKER_03]: His boy, who he loved, and as we talked about last week, but if you didn't listen, very, very funny story happened, where Mordarian was convinced Garrow, who was born on Terra, is maybe the most loyal space marine ever, it's him and Gilman.
[SPEAKER_04]: He should be on the posters.
[SPEAKER_03]: But that's what he is.
[SPEAKER_03]: And Mauritarians, like, no, he's totally going to decide with us.
[SPEAKER_03]: Bring him into a warrior lodge meeting.
[SPEAKER_04]: He's also told multiple times not to do that.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, everyone tells Mauritarians.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garros, we cannot keep Garros.
[SPEAKER_03]: And Mauritarians, like, you guys are crazy.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garros, Garros sees it.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's the guy who
[SPEAKER_03]: does nothing but talk about the love his love of the emperor.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's going to turn on the emperor if I just ask him correctly.
[SPEAKER_03]: They bring, they bring Garrow into a, well, they're more caring and brings Garrow to a war lodge meeting at which point he yells at all the warrior lodge members and says you guys are traitors to the emperor.
[SPEAKER_04]: He'll forget that we said this last week and is one of my favorites.
[SPEAKER_04]: Garrow sneaks out.
[SPEAKER_03]: after after.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: He yells at everyone tells him you're all idiots and you're all traders of the emperor and then sneaks out the door.
[SPEAKER_04]: You for at the best part.
[SPEAKER_04]: Your idiots, your traders in the emperor and I will stop you.
[SPEAKER_04]: If you try to move forward with any of this stuff and then he sneaks out through like the world's glorious door.
[SPEAKER_04]: I just like everybody just went.
[SPEAKER_04]: So that guy's getting shot tomorrow.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, like can we just go shoot him now?
[SPEAKER_03]: And Martarian of course goes, no guys.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's okay.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's cool.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's cool.
[SPEAKER_03]: Martarian brought a cop to a drug deal.
[SPEAKER_03]: And the guy, and the guy pulled out his badge and said, I am a cop.
[SPEAKER_03]: And Martarian went, don't worry, guys.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's totally cool.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's torn.
[SPEAKER_04]: I got this.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's no big deal.
[SPEAKER_03]: And for those of you who don't know what a drug deal is, when Brad and I grew up, drugs really go.
[SPEAKER_04]: However, Gerald got hurt.
[SPEAKER_04]: And that saved his life.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: So anyway, fast forward a little bit before the events of his fun.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garo gets in a fight with slenish demons, gets his leg broken and it actually has to have his leg replaced with a separate leg.
[SPEAKER_04]: You're down selling.
[SPEAKER_03]: It was broken.
[SPEAKER_03]: You're not wrong.
[SPEAKER_03]: If I throw something into it, it took the crushing machines, the crushing machine, that thing is now broken.
[SPEAKER_03]: You're not wrong.
[SPEAKER_04]: Again, technically, yeah, that thing is broken.
[SPEAKER_03]: You can, you can split hairs if you want.
[SPEAKER_03]: You have, you have a few left.
[SPEAKER_03]: For those who aren't aware in our discord, if you look for, there's a picture of Brad graduating high school with a mallet, two comments, one glorious mallet, two, eighties shot from my as soon as the ground, because Brad looks quite tall.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just sensibly tall.
[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry, I'm just shit talking, you know, just don't need to be.
[SPEAKER_04]: You also said in this going, that I wear normal people clothes.
[SPEAKER_04]: No, and that's still not true.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm so not true, but it's prefers what you used to wear.
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, no, I just wear tents.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it was like, yeah, they just don't make clothes.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I bought two t-shirts and then sewed them together.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I got three feet tall and six feet wide.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I bought two smalls.
[SPEAKER_03]: Perfect.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I think nailed it.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll be right back after a quick break.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, Garrow, there's a problem with Garrow.
[SPEAKER_03]: And Typhus decides to solve the problem with Garrow by shoving him on a frigate called the eyes and the stine.
[SPEAKER_03]: And the reason Garth, Typhus does this is number one, he needs Garrow off of terminus asked his main battleship, which by the way, he shouldn't know he should have shot him in the head, but we'll skip that.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is, yeah, this is bond level.
[SPEAKER_03]: Don't kill the guy bond.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they could just level why with him, but it's doctor evil.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean, well, I'll just shoot him right now.
[SPEAKER_03]: Tank with sharks with lasers.
[SPEAKER_03]: I got to go to a shoot him right now.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's not how we do this song.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, I'll go to my room right now.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'll shoot him.
[SPEAKER_03]: We'll go down and leave.
[SPEAKER_03]: We're shooting together with your body experience.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: So he comes up with unfortunately an overly elaborate plan.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so here's how this actually goes down.
[SPEAKER_03]: So typos is playing is good.
[SPEAKER_03]: Typos is playing is, I'll put Garrow, because more territory, I can't, not to kill Garrow unless I have to.
[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm going to put Garrow on this ship, the Eisenstein, which is full of a virus, either bombs are going to shoot at his phone.
[SPEAKER_03]: In command of the Eisenstein is Grulgor, who is already committed to internal.
[SPEAKER_04]: We're going to give his full name, because no one has the, oh, that guy turned to evil.
[SPEAKER_04]: Ignatius Grugor basically his mom went, he'll be a villain.
[SPEAKER_04]: I will name him Ignatius Grugor.
[SPEAKER_04]: Ignatius.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just saying.
[SPEAKER_04]: There's never been a guy that's been the hero of the story that was named Ignatius Grugor.
[SPEAKER_03]: I am sure there's some like Russian short story that's like,
[SPEAKER_03]: I live in Ohio, you know, Ohio.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's a bad.
[SPEAKER_03]: Ignatius is a very good name for a Russian mobster in a movie.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's fine.
[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm, by the way, you take Ignatius.
[SPEAKER_03]: I really, as I'm saying Ignatius is a Latin name, but anyway, and not Cyrillic.
[SPEAKER_03]: So sorry guys, just caught myself.
[SPEAKER_03]: Not editing that out.
[SPEAKER_03]: But so the type of this is plan is that Ignatius Grulgore will just kind of let Garros see him doing the thing he's going to be doing and then kill Grulgore and kill.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he's going to push this button.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's going to shoot these things.
[SPEAKER_04]: Would you like to do something about it?
[SPEAKER_03]: Unfortunately Grulgore is an idiot.
[SPEAKER_03]: So what we'll, but we're going to even the doctor evil plan.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's a complete will Grulgore is also a moron because he does something really stupid.
[SPEAKER_03]: We've got two in a second.
[SPEAKER_03]: Back on another ship, though, which is called the Andronicus, which is a battleship for the emperor's children, where salt harvests is there.
[SPEAKER_03]: Now, why salt harvests is much like Garrow, is someone who probably should have been sent down to the planet, but wasn't.
[SPEAKER_03]: tarvots he's it this is emperor's children so this is full room these guys all the time all glory all the time and tarvots is but by the way before they were corrupt oh yeah these is this is well before the court they all before they even had full-groom come back and they just these guys had up at a pension for like I want to worry personal put not just like personal
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, the head, the Lord commander of this ship is a guy by the name of Idleon.
[SPEAKER_03]: Idleon is one of, like, if we talk about people who want glory for themselves, Idleon is at an eleven.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and the thing is, is that
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_04]: Just goes, hey, guys, I won't be joining this glorious fight and immediately saw it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, something's going on.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, what do you mean exactly?
[SPEAKER_04]: No, it's just zero chance.
[SPEAKER_04]: This guy would punch two guys.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because this this is fun fight is not only is it a glove, but also an easy glorious fight.
[SPEAKER_03]: There's no reason.
[SPEAKER_04]: No, I just and only glory.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, why would I be there?
[SPEAKER_03]: So tarvots just starts.
[SPEAKER_03]: Sneaking around the ship, which I just gonna be candid, the core of the course this episode, you're gonna hear me talk a lot of crap on Space Marine Sneaking, and it's mostly because I find the concept of a Sneaking Space Marine.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I am.
[SPEAKER_03]: Just because I keep thinking of it's a cartoon, like a cartoon character, like tiptoeing and hiding behind a column that there are three times the width of.
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, it's, I'm gonna be on this, I view every Space Marine as John Cena.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's just how I, that's how I feel every space and rain is looking.
[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry, I just do.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I've seen this too short.
[SPEAKER_03]: But anyway, so he sneaks around the dronicus and he pretty quickly uncoveres what's really going on and decides that he needs to
[SPEAKER_03]: do something about it.
[SPEAKER_03]: He also discovers that Horace has blacked out all communication from the fleet in orbit down to Esteban.
[SPEAKER_03]: So all of the people down Esteban fighting can only communicate with each other.
[SPEAKER_03]: They cannot communicate back up to the fleet.
[SPEAKER_03]: So he does the only thing that you can do, which is he grabs a thunderhawk, which are not a small ship, by the way.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yolo so low flow.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: So he grabs one.
[SPEAKER_03]: He grabbed like the, I don't know, he didn't grab anybody, which is him, you're right.
[SPEAKER_03]: But he's just him with the amendment of two people.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is probably just rolls out.
[SPEAKER_03]: And jumps out of the jumps out of the ship down towards the planet.
[SPEAKER_03]: All right, I got it.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is very brave and very stupid.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, stupid, the idea, stupid or the writing, stupid, it's a little bit about both.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, let's party.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just, it's heroic, but also you just took a small, but large enough to be easily targeted chip.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's it.
[SPEAKER_04]: And when I'm going to go warn everybody when there's an entire orbit full of warships.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, thank you.
[SPEAKER_03]: Thanks, you down in a moment.
[SPEAKER_03]: I haven't checked out the last, the last time I saw Thunderhawks are more than two thousand points.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like they're math.
[SPEAKER_03]: I only think so anymore.
[SPEAKER_04]: They used to think to sell thunder.
[SPEAKER_04]: It depends on me.
[SPEAKER_04]: Thunderhawk's only seven hundred something.
[SPEAKER_04]: You can bring a thunderhawk, but you can't bring the big thing.
[SPEAKER_03]: What was the, oh, the big thing was to use the thunderhawk.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: But the thunderhawk, the biggest thing about this is it's not a, it's not a fighter.
[SPEAKER_04]: How about that?
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: Thunderhawk has guns.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: You can weave in Dodge, a thunderhawk's a large transport vessel.
[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_03]: So he shoots out and starts heading down toward his fun.
[SPEAKER_03]: In order to get this fun, he has to go past the eyes and sign them.
[SPEAKER_03]: Now, we're going to jump back to when I said earlier, Grugor isn't the idiot.
[SPEAKER_03]: Grugor, what with Garrow on the bridge suddenly says, I have to go do a thing and leaves the bridge with all of his retune to go arm the virus bombs.
[SPEAKER_03]: The thing about doing that is that Garrow is the second highest ranked officer in the bridge.
[SPEAKER_03]: So the second Grugor leaves the bridge.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrow is now in charge of the eyes and a stone.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's on the bridge when tarvots his ship comes by.
[SPEAKER_03]: As it comes by, the endronticus, which is the ship that tarvots just left from, tells the eyes of the sign to destroy it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Because apparently, the endronticus, which is a battleship, doesn't have any guns on it.
[SPEAKER_04]: This makes no sense.
[SPEAKER_03]: They say, hey, you get it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Now, that flip side is Garrow and Tarvots were friends.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean, him and Saul are just our boy, they very close.
[SPEAKER_03]: They've been in front line together innumerable times at this point.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, Tarvitz radios Garrow and tells him, you know, hey, let me, you know, let me pass like like this is what's going on and he just tells Garrow the truth, which is
[SPEAKER_03]: Horus has betrayed the emperor.
[SPEAKER_03]: They're about to kill all of our brothers on the planet side.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going down there to save them.
[SPEAKER_03]: Please don't let me go.
[SPEAKER_03]: And Garrow has to make a pretty quick decision here and he decides friendship.
[SPEAKER_04]: But he, when he also does, this is a smart move though, because he fires on it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Is it fires?
[SPEAKER_03]: You, we, oh, that's right.
[SPEAKER_03]: You, I'm about to shoot on this heart.
[SPEAKER_03]: All right, let's party.
[SPEAKER_03]: So a garot does now is he says no problem and he opens fire.
[SPEAKER_03]: I think this is super just behind.
[SPEAKER_03]: The, uh, the fun.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no, I miss.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, he doesn't say I missed.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's the thing.
[SPEAKER_03]: He then tells the Andronicus that he, that, that no problem.
[SPEAKER_03]: I blew up the Thunderhawk because the Andronicus has no guns and apparently no sensors.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, that part I don't like.
[SPEAKER_04]: I like the idea.
[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, rewind.
[SPEAKER_04]: I like the, I really, he should have said he blew them.
[SPEAKER_04]: I like the idea of him firing and missing.
[SPEAKER_03]: I love the idea of doing that, but the problem is that I'm just confused why a battleship can't keep track of a thunderhawk.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, also the fact that one guy could be like, there's, he's right there.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I can, I can see him like he's flying down there and so most of, I totally shot him and they're saying you totally missed.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he's, he's again right there.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, I didn't like he's right there.
[SPEAKER_03]: Also, by the way, just for y'all, no one pretzels that he's right there.
[SPEAKER_03]: Brad was pointing on a podcast.
[SPEAKER_04]: Does this, I was saying, this is different than.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's like, I just made it.
[SPEAKER_03]: We really, we really, we don't like it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Sometimes.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, Garo had to gain your dolphin tarvots.
[SPEAKER_03]: Now says, hey, where did Rulgor go?
[SPEAKER_03]: So he grabs, and this is literally in the book, three dudes, and leaves the bridge to the bombing bay to find out what's going on.
[SPEAKER_03]: They get in there and I still grow our credit.
[SPEAKER_03]: They catch Grugor, army virus bombs.
[SPEAKER_03]: And Grugor, Grugor puts Narbender.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, what do you mean?
[SPEAKER_03]: That's a question.
[SPEAKER_04]: Grugor is, yeah, I'm going to kill all of them because I'm, I'm, I'm the virus bombs to kill everyone.
[SPEAKER_04]: And just what?
[SPEAKER_04]: Like, yeah, what?
[SPEAKER_04]: What are you going to do about it?
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: John heavy sigh for what happens next.
[SPEAKER_03]: They then begin a fight in the bombing bay where they're shooting at each other and I'm not joking about what happens next.
[SPEAKER_03]: A bullet is fired.
[SPEAKER_03]: It ricochets ricochets off of someone and hits one of the virus bombs, which makes it detonate.
[SPEAKER_03]: Now, I understand.
[SPEAKER_03]: Not everyone, I have, and I'm not, I'm a military background, but I understand the basics of how a bomb works.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's not contact.
[SPEAKER_03]: Bombs don't work by, they don't have a little bit on the front that you touch and bomb explodes.
[SPEAKER_04]: Technology is.
[SPEAKER_04]: Like, a little bit better.
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think that's how landmines work.
[SPEAKER_04]: And I believe that's it.
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that's how it works.
[SPEAKER_04]: If you pack gun powder into the top of them, even then it doesn't have a point that moves in.
[SPEAKER_03]: So eight eight.
[SPEAKER_03]: It would have a shaking bolt on fire.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, hit the tip of a virus bomb and the virus bomb where it's weak.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, with it's weird.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, as in the virus bomb, uh, detonated.
[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry.
[SPEAKER_03]: It just dumb.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, but don't worry.
[SPEAKER_03]: We're not done with this.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, man.
[SPEAKER_03]: Do you reference my
[SPEAKER_03]: Don't worry, we're not done with this.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrow and their crew, when this ricochet happened, we're just standing next to the airlock.
[SPEAKER_03]: So one of the three people with him, shelves the other ones through the airlock and then closes the door while he dies to the virus bomb.
[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, this succeeds in killing Grulgore for now and all of his buddies.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrow then runs back to the bridge and takes back control of the ship.
[SPEAKER_04]: So this is a wreck of the ship, we continue.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: The fun story about this is that he does this.
[SPEAKER_03]: There's still deathguard all over the ship, by the way.
[SPEAKER_03]: who are all trades, but none of them are in the bridge, so sucks to be them.
[SPEAKER_03]: As he's trying to figure out what to do next, another thunderhawk, it's actually the same thunderhawk, is coming back from the surface, because they have to give, it was tarvots, right?
[SPEAKER_03]: Tarvots stayed on the on-planet to fight the traders.
[SPEAKER_03]: But Jesus, like, yeah, Yachton crews, which has spelled Q R U Z E, so I'm not mispronouncing at this time, like we did with Conrad.
[SPEAKER_03]: The column crews still doing it.
[SPEAKER_04]: Never, I'm never changing.
[SPEAKER_04]: So I read that in my mind, is that more than a decade now?
[SPEAKER_04]: Never.
[SPEAKER_03]: Never change it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: So Yaktan, plus a few others are now on up under a hot coming back up.
[SPEAKER_03]: And they're telling Garo, hey, we got to get out of here.
[SPEAKER_03]: We've got all the evidence we need.
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, they're doing the whole idiot to show it.
[SPEAKER_04]: Start the engine.
[SPEAKER_03]: Start the engine.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: Go, go.
[SPEAKER_04]: She is going down.
[SPEAKER_03]: They come back up.
[SPEAKER_03]: crash land into the Eisenstein effect.
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think they land.
[SPEAKER_04]: They drive their ship into the, yeah, into the Eisenstein.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like in the general location of the landing bay of the documentary.
[SPEAKER_03]: And Garrow just starts turning the, the, the Eisenstein to go jump back towards terror.
[SPEAKER_03]: As the Eisenstein begins to move apparently all of this stuff because no one has sensors is completely a miss to the entirety of the trader fleet.
[SPEAKER_03]: including Typhus who's sitting on top, who's sitting on terminus s. Who sees none of the thunderhawks do anything.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm going to give this, they give it the Dr. Evil moments, but I do think that he is wildly overconfident because this is their moment.
[SPEAKER_04]: They're doing the Darth Maul.
[SPEAKER_04]: We're finally getting a reveal of sons to the Jedi.
[SPEAKER_04]: We'll finally have our van.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you have radar.
[SPEAKER_03]: There's a dude watching.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sure, but I'm just saying there.
[SPEAKER_04]: I, it only makes sense if you go.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, this is a space balls they got jammed.
[SPEAKER_04]: It did get right.
[SPEAKER_04]: You make it all people.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's a little bit of reference, but it's still good.
[SPEAKER_03]: But it's actually not, but it's very funny.
[SPEAKER_04]: But I have, they're going to go to plaid.
[SPEAKER_04]: But the biggest thing about that is I think that in my, in how I read it, to make, to make, and I, I haven't made some sense.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: I feel in a lot of games of this, but in my mind, they really have that overconfidence of
[SPEAKER_04]: This is the day that we make our move.
[SPEAKER_04]: We move on with all of our plans.
[SPEAKER_04]: And I think that he kind of thought that obviously everything's going to go.
[SPEAKER_04]: because I'm a bad guy.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, because it was you monologue, you know, the bridge.
[SPEAKER_03]: So as it begins to move, Typhus realizes that he hasn't heard from rural Goranoile.
[SPEAKER_03]: And that's kind of weird.
[SPEAKER_03]: So he begins calling the eyes and the Stein and Geralt, let's say go to a voicemail.
[SPEAKER_04]: Um, and Gary should have definitely done the Star Wars.
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, no problem here.
[SPEAKER_03]: Great.
[SPEAKER_03]: We actually, we don't have to go.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, Garrow, because what Garrow does is, to be fair, we're crevents.
[SPEAKER_03]: What Garrow really does is he does radio out that there's an issue with his reactor.
[SPEAKER_03]: And the rule in the space marines is that if you have an issue with your reactors, it's supposed to pull away from the fleet.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of like,
[SPEAKER_03]: Was that Garrow?
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, why wasn't that Rulgar?
[SPEAKER_03]: And then, so he then calls it.
[SPEAKER_04]: It just goes, you should probably have anyone but you.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: I, I, I, I next to you.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: All the time.
[SPEAKER_04]: I definitely know your shitty voice.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: And so Grulgar, so he, but that without Grulgar, but their typhus knows something's up.
[SPEAKER_03]: And he just turns that so he begins to go out for the Eisenstein.
[SPEAKER_03]: And again, it opens fire.
[SPEAKER_04]: You have to go into the skin.
[SPEAKER_04]: The Eisenstein beep, I'm making so many hand gestures.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Brad is literally the only the way this he could be you guys be missing out more on this is a Brad actually new sign language and we're just doing that right now is instead of speaking.
[SPEAKER_04]: What I'm trying to get with, I'm showing different sizes.
[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's about a whole of a doctor pepper for size.
[SPEAKER_03]: That was going to be, for those of you who are not who are international, we're going, American to have a weird measurement system.
[SPEAKER_03]: We're about to get a doctor pepper versus I don't know what a medicine ball is.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's what we're going to do over here.
[SPEAKER_04]: Which is rarely accurate about that.
[SPEAKER_03]: No one knows how big the table is.
[SPEAKER_03]: Are they probably or aware of a doctor pepper?
[SPEAKER_04]: So all of a sudden, his doctor pepper can't versus a table is about the difference in the size and the term it says versus the eyes and Stein.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's a battleship versus maybe a frigate for those of you not in the U.S.
[SPEAKER_03]: Dr. Pepper is a soda weed drink here.
[SPEAKER_03]: Brad's forgotten.
[SPEAKER_03]: They thought even in their national soda that he's drinking.
[SPEAKER_03]: You're gonna fly it.
[SPEAKER_03]: You only do a Figo next.
[SPEAKER_03]: Make this even more.
[SPEAKER_03]: Make this even more.
[SPEAKER_04]: I was trying to think of a different.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm just gonna say pop and I'm gonna choose a local pop.
[SPEAKER_03]: Did you just use the word pop?
[SPEAKER_03]: I said, I want to use the word you understand pop is actually even the last load.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's what I'm saying.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's super local code.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, this is what happened to me.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is what I'm recording them Midwest.
[SPEAKER_03]: They don't understand there's other parts of the world.
[SPEAKER_04]: What scary.
[SPEAKER_03]: I got a map to say there be there be dragons anyway.
[SPEAKER_03]: To Brad's point, I'm gonna make it a little bit easier.
[SPEAKER_03]: The eyes of the stine is a small craft.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's a frigate.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's about, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's
[SPEAKER_04]: And they just like us.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, Typhus is not taking a lead drop bows.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: And the ship just gets wrecked.
[SPEAKER_03]: Funny story.
[SPEAKER_03]: There are a bunch of deathguards on ice in the time who have no idea and stuff's happening.
[SPEAKER_03]: And now just start getting shot at.
[SPEAKER_03]: But in the result of the bombardment, all the astronauts die, all but one navigator dies, and the shields are about to fail.
[SPEAKER_03]: At this point, Garrow does, you know, because what Garrow does, which is hero stuff, and he just tells the remaining navigator, put us into the warp.
[SPEAKER_04]: It will.
[SPEAKER_04]: He goes, I don't care.
[SPEAKER_04]: Basically, it doesn't matter.
[SPEAKER_04]: Anywhere you send us is still better than where we're right.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: We are right now.
[SPEAKER_03]: Get me into the war, which he's not wrong.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is, this is, this goes on for six more seconds.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, this is hero stuff where he does here.
[SPEAKER_03]: It is fantastic.
[SPEAKER_03]: And they do, they jump into the material.
[SPEAKER_03]: problem, though, is that the shields were irreparably damaged, which apparently shares the same generator as the Geller Field.
[SPEAKER_04]: So they entered the imperium or trash.
[SPEAKER_03]: They entered the warp with no Geller Field.
[SPEAKER_03]: And
[SPEAKER_03]: Nergola is very aware of them.
[SPEAKER_03]: And instantly, to the first thing, to Gruger has a rough run, by the way, so Gruger has just been consumed by a life-eater virus.
[SPEAKER_04]: probably not the best way to.
[SPEAKER_03]: No great way to die.
[SPEAKER_03]: Nurgle looks at him and goes, yeah, that one.
[SPEAKER_03]: Nurgle converts Grulgore into the first ever plague Marie.
[SPEAKER_03]: He, he resurrects him.
[SPEAKER_04]: The best part is he doesn't resurrect him as Grulgore.
[SPEAKER_04]: He resurrects him as a
[SPEAKER_04]: plague and fested.
[SPEAKER_04]: You're like, you could have just made me come back.
[SPEAKER_04]: You're like, nah.
[SPEAKER_03]: They're all doesn't play like that.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, and then Nurgle also then begins re-anneming the corpses of all their truer space marines in the ship.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oddly, like, they write it in the way that it's not entirely clear.
[SPEAKER_03]: Are they all plague marines?
[SPEAKER_03]: Are they zombies?
[SPEAKER_04]: I think everybody, I think everybody, this is again.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm reading.
[SPEAKER_04]: Please.
[SPEAKER_04]: I think grougers, they only play rain and everybody else is just a zombie.
[SPEAKER_04]: Because in the reason I say this is that, Garo and friends, dispatch these guys, like, yeah, except for grougers.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's exactly exactly.
[SPEAKER_04]: So that I think that these guys were slow move their slower moving.
[SPEAKER_04]: They're just the reanimated corpses of Marines without of the power of Marines.
[SPEAKER_04]: Because in the books, they
[SPEAKER_04]: Snuff these guys out.
[SPEAKER_03]: Sort of because they pop right back up.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's what I'm saying.
[SPEAKER_04]: They, they, oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: They, they do drop them.
[SPEAKER_04]: So, because they come to the bridge.
[SPEAKER_04]: They go, oh shit.
[SPEAKER_04]: And drop them.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Garrett.
[SPEAKER_03]: There's like only a few, Garrett's Garrett.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, like, three or five guys are just, are just picking these guys off as they come through.
[SPEAKER_03]: And, but eventually, Grulgorg gets onto the bridge, too.
[SPEAKER_03]: And as they're because Nurgles there, as they're killing these space and these zombies, they're dropping, coming back up, literally Geralt, they're running out of bullets.
[SPEAKER_03]: And it all comes down to Geralt, and I think I've got the name of the guy, but he'll come up in a minute in later part of the notes.
[SPEAKER_03]: Grugore actually stabs one of the space marines with his playing knife against converting it, at which point Geral realizes they have to get out of the warp now.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, they're just like an owing.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, he realizes that that's where the power is coming from.
[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
[SPEAKER_04]: He has unlimited ability to screw with us exactly.
[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_03]: So we've never covered this before, but getting in and out of the work, and we're going to do a cast on work travel is not an easy path.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's slow.
[SPEAKER_03]: There's a care.
[SPEAKER_03]: You have to move your, it's not like you press the button and you go, you can press the button going out of the work.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but then every hit is just
[SPEAKER_03]: dial.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_03]: And so doing this, they drop out of the war back in the material and their navigator, just this just melts his brain, he falls down.
[SPEAKER_03]: They just dies.
[SPEAKER_03]: But the flip side, all of Nurgles powered also disappears.
[SPEAKER_03]: And you've got, we're not in the war.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: And the problem with being a plague marine, in the case of gyro or a zombie, is that when you, your body's made up of warp energy and now there's no warp energy,
[SPEAKER_03]: you're not much and Garrett is easily just kills.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he just got karate kicks these guys and all the guys said now the good news is all of the their enemies on the ship are dead.
[SPEAKER_03]: The bad news is that the ship is now adrift.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's hundreds of light years from the terror.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, they're not a hundred percent even where they are.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, they're in the middle.
[SPEAKER_03]: They're in the middle.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's the whole galaxy up at the end of nowhere.
[SPEAKER_03]: The entire galaxy is in the middle of the
[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, they're not near Earth.
[SPEAKER_03]: Let's put it that way.
[SPEAKER_03]: They've got no navigator, no astropaths in it.
[SPEAKER_03]: It came in the conference.
[SPEAKER_03]: What?
[SPEAKER_03]: Continue.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: The worst part though is that the ship's also too damaged even for an FCL journey.
[SPEAKER_03]: So Garo is just stuck.
[SPEAKER_03]: Again, Garros pretty good to stuff.
[SPEAKER_03]: So what's Garros do?
[SPEAKER_03]: He decides, I'm just going to make a beacon.
[SPEAKER_03]: So he overloads the warp driving.
[SPEAKER_04]: This is also a crazy plan because if there's no one sees this, then he just slowly dies.
[SPEAKER_03]: We're just going to do that anyway.
[SPEAKER_03]: So the problem is his options were to jump back into the warp, which that didn't go well last time with no navigator.
[SPEAKER_04]: and we'll know navigator and no killer feel.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's so just like, hey, man, we should just wander and hell and see how it works out for us.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, see.
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, if you play BJ through you, they also do this with the ship and hell.
[SPEAKER_04]: at the beginning of the game.
[SPEAKER_03]: All right, it's a bad part of played.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: I've, I've got the first act and the third playing to play.
[SPEAKER_04]: They, they leave legitimately, but go, we need to go, where should we go?
[SPEAKER_04]: Anywhere, but here.
[SPEAKER_03]: This place sucks.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: Like, pull the thing.
[SPEAKER_04]: Do I know how to run the ship?
[SPEAKER_04]: No, but it, it will still make it go, not here.
[SPEAKER_03]: So they expend, so they expel the warp drive, it overloads and it just explodes, creating a massive flash at the entire galaxy can see.
[SPEAKER_03]: And if you follow to our earlier cast, you can also see from outside of the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_03]: So they certainly certain race outside of the galaxy likely saw this flash.
[SPEAKER_03]: It works.
[SPEAKER_03]: Rogal Dorn is wandering around.
[SPEAKER_03]: and wants to do.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, wake up's the rescue.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like he always does.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Cause he always does.
[SPEAKER_03]: Sure.
[SPEAKER_03]: If you're in a pickle, Brad, you know, he rely on good old, rogule dorn.
[SPEAKER_03]: He will pick you up and immediately place you in prison, which is exactly what the rogule dorn is.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's so much rogule dorn.
[SPEAKER_04]: Literally who'd have helped so much after his heroic journey, rogule dorns.
[SPEAKER_04]: stupid ass shows up and you're like, Rogle, here's all the things that happen.
[SPEAKER_04]: Let me tell you the warning and giving you can help the Imperium and Rogle goes, I suck and I like to continue sucking might not be the exact dialogue in the book, but this is what I ran.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, what he does is roll gold immediately in prisons all of them and blows up the eyes and Stein and then but he does take them all towards soul then stops just outside of soul and shows the three or five presses of your how many it was in the sisters of silence is citadel
[SPEAKER_04]: I hate him so much.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's all right.
[SPEAKER_04]: Now, like, Arab is, hey, but like, he's, he's twenty of my list of primarks out of eighteen.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, there's twenty.
[SPEAKER_04]: You just, yeah, the two guys that are red, redacted, I still think are better because they didn't do anything.
[SPEAKER_03]: Really, you like him more than the lower car.
[SPEAKER_04]: I actually, I don't count.
[SPEAKER_04]: No, I think it's fine.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's fine.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's nice.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's a little, it's a joy.
[SPEAKER_03]: I see his, I like, lower car is just serves no purpose.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he's, you want a primar who gets beat up and hit him.
[SPEAKER_04]: I joke about Rogar, Rogal Dorn, and he does do a, he doesn't much a dumb shit, which is why I don't like it.
[SPEAKER_04]: But he is super powerful at a Rogar.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Lorgar is, Lorgar loses every fist fight.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like I, I'm surprised.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm surprised even though he has a primer.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's just some guy.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: I would be surprised if, if Rogar met one of the Phoenix lords, I'm pretty sure I think someone would just beat him up.
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, like laugh.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: He's, he's terrible.
[SPEAKER_04]: So, so I mean, again, for everybody in those Imperial Fists, I will continue to shit on him because I hate his storylines.
[SPEAKER_04]: He's a bad dude.
[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, but he's awesome.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's a day.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, when the local has to fight it.
[SPEAKER_04]: So he wrecks.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, every fight, local door and gets in has like, has music behind it.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's just, it's there's always boss.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, we're doing this.
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_04]: I give shit about it, but like he's a bad dude.
[SPEAKER_04]: It just makes these, these are the, these books are the reason I don't, like, rule Doran, because you're just like, dude, seriously.
[SPEAKER_04]: I just listen for five seconds and we can help shit out.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll be right back after a quick break.
[SPEAKER_03]: What ends up happening next, though, is one of the guys, as we mentioned, that was part of Garo's crew got stabbed by a grulgar, and he's just struggling and in mass amounts of pain.
[SPEAKER_03]: And this is of silence, sir.
[SPEAKER_04]: No one notices this file.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, they do, they don't care.
[SPEAKER_03]: The problem is that he's in a prison.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's in a sisters of silence prison.
[SPEAKER_03]: and apparently it's not strong of the heat knurled out so he eventually just embraces knurled.
[SPEAKER_03]: Of course he does.
[SPEAKER_03]: And knurled turns it.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's more true every day.
[SPEAKER_04]: Turns it.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, he only came in.
[SPEAKER_04]: You know what happens when I let flies slowly eat my body while replacing it with acid.
[SPEAKER_04]: Proposed.
[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I mean?
[SPEAKER_03]: If for some reason things things don't go well.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so he then goes this guy converts over to a game and who actually comes up a couple times in the game resurrect and go to the Harrisney blah blah blah.
[SPEAKER_04]: Like five times actually.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't expect the story's good, but
[SPEAKER_03]: He kills two other authorities.
[SPEAKER_03]: Actually, I think Mike killed a couple sisters and then goes on a rampage to say they'll.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrow sees it apparently gets out is able to pursue him.
[SPEAKER_04]: Garrow yellow solos.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's pretty awesome.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, they actually run outside.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is actually, they run outside on on the surface of Luna.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrow kills this demon.
[SPEAKER_04]: Like ninja warrior style.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's pretty cool.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, carousel awesome.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, Gary was incredible.
[SPEAKER_03]: So this kind of we're going to take a stop there.
[SPEAKER_04]: This is such a back flip into what we're doing right now.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, but it makes it actually makes complete sense.
[SPEAKER_03]: The truth is is that Gary will now is going to serve a much greater purpose for the emperor.
[SPEAKER_03]: The way we're going to get that is that before we get an expert, just a little reminder.
[SPEAKER_03]: Up until the Horace Heresy, the existence of chaos was known basically by the Emperor, Malkudor, and the Kostotes.
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think anyone else...
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like obviously, Laura Garre in Arabic.
[SPEAKER_04]: There's people that know about it, but there's no one officially knows.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, the official.
[SPEAKER_04]: How about this?
[SPEAKER_04]: If you stood in front of the emperor, you wouldn't say that.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, the only people who officially could, who spoke about their existence were Malkador, the emperor, the custodes, and that woman whose name I'm forgetting that is guarding the gate to the hell.
[SPEAKER_03]: So because of this, the emperor never made a plan for what to do against the forces of chaos.
[SPEAKER_03]: He seemed to just rely on like, I'm just going to ban religion.
[SPEAKER_03]: He stopped us all over.
[SPEAKER_04]: He used the, his ostrich defense.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, it's nothing.
[SPEAKER_03]: However, he had malchador and malchador loves a plan, especially when that sacrifice is thousands of people.
[SPEAKER_03]: Are you a team referencing twice in one cast?
[SPEAKER_03]: I love it when a plan comes together.
[SPEAKER_03]: I just, I really did.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Go team.
[SPEAKER_03]: It was a lot of my childhood.
[SPEAKER_03]: Once word reaches the emperor of horses rebellion, the emperor knows the truth that this is not a rebellion of horse.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is chaos.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, it's a rebellion led by chaos.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, with pawns.
[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_04]: Now we are, we decided to now play chess and here's the pieces.
[SPEAKER_04]: And here's the chaos pieces.
[SPEAKER_04]: Here's the empowering pieces.
[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: And the issue they have is especially what just happened on Luna, where you had someone turn into a demon, this close to the soul, really jacks up some of their plants.
[SPEAKER_03]: So the emperor and Malkador probably vowed or two, decide they have mega choice.
[SPEAKER_03]: And the choice they go with is, do not tell the Imperium the truth about chaos.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's the, well, also they'd have to say, we've been, we knew about this the whole time we'd been lying about.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and it would, it would splinter at this point in time.
[SPEAKER_03]: I, for sure.
[SPEAKER_03]: I also think the problem is that it also,
[SPEAKER_03]: Truthfully chaos, as we've said before, is a lot like vampires who do invite them in.
[SPEAKER_03]: Life in the Imperiums, not great at this stage.
[SPEAKER_03]: Telling that there's some great evil power out there was just invite more cultists.
[SPEAKER_03]: So I'd actually agree with them that they, this, you should not just tell them, you get it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: In these terrible worlds, you're like, there's an option that doesn't include this.
[SPEAKER_04]: Who is it?
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I'm good.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: So Malkador takes the lead here because if it was Valdor, he probably would just stab everybody.
[SPEAKER_04]: And just in case they were kicked.
[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_03]: And he gathers all the survivors of the ice and it's like, Garrow, Cruz, Kendall, who's will deal with her at all the time and tells them that they've got a plan.
[SPEAKER_04]: which is why these guys are so much cooler than Roguel because they knew that someone had information that was vital to the survival of the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
[SPEAKER_03]: They're being told the quote is, I like this quote, the man and women of inquisitive nature, hunters who might seek the way to the trader, them mutant and the Zeno.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is the formation of the inquisition.
[SPEAKER_03]: It starts now.
[SPEAKER_03]: and these are the original three founders.
[SPEAKER_03]: However, he then pulls Garrow aside and says, I actually have a special mission for you because he realizes Garrow may be the most loyal person in the empire.
[SPEAKER_04]: Also, the thing about Garrow and they don't go into this enough in the books, but I think one of the reasons for me again, this is me giving the Brad version of books.
[SPEAKER_04]: I feel that he already saw that what we will eventually be the adgeus and everything else.
[SPEAKER_04]: I think that he already sees in, because you kind of remember that both Melcador and the Emperor can see more into you than you can see into you.
[SPEAKER_04]: They can see you in your own pentatine, everything else.
[SPEAKER_04]: I think that he had an innate resistance to chaos.
[SPEAKER_04]: that they knew that you could just see and they were like, OK, I'm going to choose you for this because I can already.
[SPEAKER_03]: I already know that you have, yeah, you can do this exactly.
[SPEAKER_03]: So this creates the night's act.
[SPEAKER_03]: The first thing Malkudor does is he changes.
[SPEAKER_03]: Gary was on me.
[SPEAKER_03]: Takes off all the death card from it, which is probably a good call.
[SPEAKER_03]: and puts on Malkador's single, which is critical, because Malkador's single means, Garrow can now go where Malkador could go.
[SPEAKER_03]: He now has, he can go anywhere, command anything.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, it's just huge.
[SPEAKER_03]: He has, he has a get out of jail, free go, and he has one of the most powerful.
[SPEAKER_03]: The sickles in the guy's up like I can go anywhere command anything doing he's kind of in line with their custodinal in that level of I can hear you're not doing injustice when you say what he does that so I want to jump a little guy.
[SPEAKER_04]: Come on
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, you son of a bitch, I'm in.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's what Geralt does.
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, that's what I'm saying.
[SPEAKER_04]: He just, he starts going around the galaxy in a montage, grabbing people, and they speed this up in the book, but that's what he's doing.
[SPEAKER_04]: He does a high school movie.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, this is cool.
[SPEAKER_03]: He casters a team.
[SPEAKER_03]: The first thing that we had to kind of jump back into a little bit, we covered this on the Aramun cast was the council of Nicaria.
[SPEAKER_03]: So the count is went great.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, the counts love the K. I'm just going to go to quick hit this for everybody.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is when the emperor brought everyone together and decided what to do about psychers and the emperor decreed that you will not we will no longer utilize psychers anywhere.
[SPEAKER_03]: So all of the space for the way it facts no reasons.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, no reasons giving it all.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, just so all of the regions tell their they don't kill their psychers, but tell them you're not allowed to use the powers and using your powers is viewed as a negative.
[SPEAKER_03]: The trade allegiance decided not to follow this very hard.
[SPEAKER_03]: So the reason I bring this up is for the first place carot goes is to the world of cult, which is where the ultramarines are.
[SPEAKER_03]: The ultramarines were sent to cult to deal with I believe it was an orconvasion and it was not.
[SPEAKER_03]: It was a trap and it's demons and word bears.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, we're bears who use the most.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly.
[SPEAKER_03]: Rubio is a incredibly powerful siker within the ranks of the Ultramarines, but he, again, doesn't use them.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrow arrives, and this is why Garrow is a badass.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrow arrives and tells Rubio, hey, Malkador has summoned you.
[SPEAKER_03]: You and I get out of here.
[SPEAKER_03]: And Rubio just says, no, I can't abandon my brothers.
[SPEAKER_03]: So Garo goes, all right, cool, let's just fight.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'll fight with you.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'll stay.
[SPEAKER_03]: I will stand next to you.
[SPEAKER_04]: He also makes this decision instantly.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, okay.
[SPEAKER_03]: Let's fight together, which is just awesomely badass.
[SPEAKER_03]: What ends up, but this, the reason this is matters a lot more is during the battle, the Ultramanes get overwhelmed by the word bears because they bring catastrophic determinators, which is what Abadhan was.
[SPEAKER_03]: These things are nasty.
[SPEAKER_03]: These terminators, again, because this is back when they're just reading lore, terminators actually work.
[SPEAKER_03]: as they're about to lose, as always, Rubio just unleashes a psychic torrent and collapses a tunnel on top of the terminators, because dread not armor is not impervious to dirt.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, it's a previous damage, but while I'm didn't die, they also weren't going anywhere.
[SPEAKER_04]: Because that's fair.
[SPEAKER_04]: They could have been completely fine except for the fact that they're never leaving.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, the part of this I don't like is that Rubio at the end of it is like he's he feels ashamed of using his psychic powers and It's like it is sad because some of the other Ultraman's give my dirty look, which is just stupid.
[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, he joins Garo to become, uh, to now be his, his buddy on his buddy quest.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, again, he's doing a heist.
[SPEAKER_04]: So he needs to gather his team.
[SPEAKER_03]: The next place Garrow goes, I want to point something out, because this is important.
[SPEAKER_03]: We talked about this during the Horace Harris, see that during the Horace Harris, the workstorms were insane and no one could go anywhere.
[SPEAKER_03]: Apparently Garrow had some special extra thing, because he goes, if he goes, call, which is on the far side of the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, he does this four times.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: He does season eight game of throne style trap.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: And then just jump.
[SPEAKER_03]: He just teleports everywhere.
[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
[SPEAKER_03]: Now I'm back on salt.
[SPEAKER_03]: because back on salt, a fleet of ships has arrived, which is has a single world eater named Varan, and a bunch of white scars.
[SPEAKER_04]: I do love the fact that everybody turned to chaos, and one guy was like, kind of think this is jacked up.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, what are you guys doing?
[SPEAKER_03]: Varan's the loyalist out of the group.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, Garo, Rubio, and some custodes, board the ships.
[SPEAKER_03]: And they're kind of like going through it.
[SPEAKER_03]: The custodes, of course, are on team.
[SPEAKER_03]: Let's just stab all of them.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's their vote.
[SPEAKER_04]: Like, just hey, you know, we make fun of it.
[SPEAKER_04]: They work wrong.
[SPEAKER_03]: They were, there was a nine, nine percent correct.
[SPEAKER_03]: It was one.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, they would not have noticed.
[SPEAKER_04]: There was a guy that they were wrong about.
[SPEAKER_03]: And suddenly the white scar traders do attack, because as we said in a priori to the white scarist, we're actually a weird lesion where the majority of them stayed loyal, but a group of them did go trader.
[SPEAKER_03]: And they also do stop because the white scars all had warrior lodges.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's a goddamn good idea.
[SPEAKER_03]: The terrible idea doesn't work.
[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, they attack varian jumps up and saves guy or in rubio, and they all escape together.
[SPEAKER_03]: So now there are night irons.
[SPEAKER_04]: Trips.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, you just did a Brad.
[SPEAKER_04]: You didn't say the number.
[SPEAKER_03]: You're right.
[SPEAKER_03]: I did.
[SPEAKER_03]: You're right.
[SPEAKER_03]: Show it.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, no, no, no, no.
[SPEAKER_03]: There's a hell up of three.
[SPEAKER_03]: Thanks, Brad.
[SPEAKER_03]: There are now three night irons.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you're creating problems.
[SPEAKER_03]: That this is the next one is actually a bit more interesting to me, not to brags in Val's Revoltor.
[SPEAKER_04]: And there's stupid, you know what I'm not gonna say, stupid.
[SPEAKER_04]: This is pretty awesome.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is cool.
[SPEAKER_04]: So I wanted to talk shit about it, but the fan links is
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, you know, objectively.
[SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, things like a cruising death stuff.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, it's a death star.
[SPEAKER_03]: So it's a star fortress called the failanks that the imperial fist have.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrow is sent there in secrets.
[SPEAKER_03]: He sneaks on to it again sneaks on to a Imperial fist.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: Obi-Wan's onto the dust star to turn off the tractor beam.
[SPEAKER_03]: the greatest fortress building legion in the entire government.
[SPEAKER_03]: The best offenders.
[SPEAKER_04]: Obi-Wan turned off the tractor being, that's all I'm saying.
[SPEAKER_03]: On this, Rogodorn has imprisoned all of the cycles of his entire legion.
[SPEAKER_03]: And that's one guy.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to stupid shit.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, that guy is so tight, so dumb.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to disagree with you here.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to get that story.
[SPEAKER_03]: The Y in a second.
[SPEAKER_03]: Massick is one of the is one such that he's, but that Garo's been sent to go grab.
[SPEAKER_03]: So Garo sneaks around the ship and eventually gets to Massick as it's hey, you've been summoned by Malkador.
[SPEAKER_03]: We go, go and Massick says, no, like I'm loyal to my prime.
[SPEAKER_03]: Mark told me I'm staying here.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm staying here.
[SPEAKER_03]: and Rogel Dorne arrives.
[SPEAKER_03]: And looks at Garrow and just says, all right, come here you and bring some, and bring some to the office for a stern talking to.
[SPEAKER_03]: A couple things I like about this story.
[SPEAKER_04]: He does, he does at least reference the fact that didn't I leave you in a prison?
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, two things.
[SPEAKER_03]: One, I do like that upon seeing Rogel because Massic hasn't seen Rogel in like hundreds of years says,
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, like, Primark or something that's, sir, how goes the great crusade.
[SPEAKER_03]: And Rogel's responses, it has become complicated, which I do.
[SPEAKER_03]: I like that one.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's not wrong.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I like that line.
[SPEAKER_03]: A lot's.
[SPEAKER_03]: There's really good line of like, it has become complicated.
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, in the thing is, okay, Rogel's not being a complete ass.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: Because I don't like the way he's going about it.
[SPEAKER_04]: You made that clear.
[SPEAKER_04]: But he is and he could have told these guys, which he does not.
[SPEAKER_04]: He wants to keep his psychers.
[SPEAKER_04]: ready for the battle.
[SPEAKER_04]: So they're uncorrupted by the time the big bounds.
[SPEAKER_03]: He knew.
[SPEAKER_03]: Rogel knew the psychers.
[SPEAKER_03]: There was a danger with the psychers.
[SPEAKER_03]: And so he feared I'm going to shelter them away.
[SPEAKER_03]: And when we need them, they will be here.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not going to mention to any of that by the way.
[SPEAKER_04]: Looks.
[SPEAKER_03]: Rogel likes his dad.
[SPEAKER_04]: Jesus.
[SPEAKER_04]: man, you know what I'm going to be cool?
[SPEAKER_04]: Is if I wasn't just sequestered in a cell for it to me, no reason whatsoever.
[SPEAKER_03]: So anyway, long story story, no masnic, but kind of a cool story.
[SPEAKER_03]: The next one, as we just mentioned, you know, no warp travel for everyone else, but Garrow goes from Saul to Esteban III.
[SPEAKER_03]: So he now is going to warp
[SPEAKER_03]: behind Horace to a planet he left to go pick a dude up.
[SPEAKER_04]: Again, high-struvy, assembly is grow.
[SPEAKER_04]: By the way, this is also an open, awesome, because this is a balsie maneuver, because at this point, they know that castes corrupted them, castes the most power in the warp.
[SPEAKER_04]: Let's just make a long, long work job.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: It just figure it out.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: So Garo and Rubio arrive on Estevan III, and they actually find some survivors.
[SPEAKER_03]: Some human survivors who somehow survive the virus and the bombing and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
[SPEAKER_03]: And Garen Rubio are told by these survivors that there is this evil beast, which is attacking them.
[SPEAKER_03]: A little bit later, they see a beast from a distance, realize the beast is in the startings.
[SPEAKER_03]: And Garen Rubio engaged the beast and it runs away after it killed some of the humans.
[SPEAKER_03]: When they look down though, Gyro recognizes some of that some of the humans that the beast killed have the mark of Nergal on them.
[SPEAKER_03]: And though they then, of course, immediately rise up as GW writing and Gyro and Rubio have to fight these zombies, at which point the beast arrives and kills the zombies again.
[SPEAKER_03]: Who's the beast?
[SPEAKER_03]: Logan.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[SPEAKER_03]: Scarville, look.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and look at it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_04]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_04]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_04]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_04]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_04]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_04]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_04]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_04]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_04]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_04]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_04]: Garrier, look at it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrier,
[SPEAKER_03]: they then jump back to soul and go.
[SPEAKER_03]: All right, now this time we're going to go to Calaban.
[SPEAKER_03]: Can we skip this part?
[SPEAKER_03]: No, because it's it's we need this.
[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to we're going to introduce our buddy.
[SPEAKER_04]: You're going to harp so much on that.
[SPEAKER_03]: We know I'm using it to introduce somebody.
[SPEAKER_03]: So.
[SPEAKER_03]: Apparently at this stage, Garo's plot armor was too heavy, so they had to let Garvel look into Yachton crews do this trip.
[SPEAKER_03]: So their goal, they were sent by Malkor to determine if the Dark Kings were loyal or a traitor.
[SPEAKER_03]: And when they get there, there's this guy, their name, Luther, who's just the guy, that's all he is.
[SPEAKER_03]: If you don't yet, that reference goes to the Dark Angels cast as I went off on, on Luther.
[SPEAKER_03]: Luther is not chaos at this point, but he's still very anti-Lion, and he doesn't even know what's going on.
[SPEAKER_03]: So he, then, have already been banished at this point.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but he hasn't turned to chaos.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he, I agree with you, but in the books he has it.
[SPEAKER_03]: So Luther is trying to figure out what's going on.
[SPEAKER_03]: So Luther captures Logan and starts interrogating him.
[SPEAKER_03]: But what he doesn't know is that Logan, because he's so good, is a track in the attention of the watchers in the dark.
[SPEAKER_03]: So while Logan is in prison, the, you know, the, the watchers of the dark, free him.
[SPEAKER_03]: And he reunites with crews to make their escape.
[SPEAKER_03]: As they're making their escape, the dark, he gets trapped by the, actually, by the dark angels.
[SPEAKER_03]: And the reason I, the whole reason telling the story is because something else happens that's setting up a future cast for us.
[SPEAKER_03]: They then were aided in the escape against his mother.
[SPEAKER_03]: They killed one of the dark angels to escape by what I consider one of the the worst Lord a tabletop model because I can't think of a time for the sight for model has been of any value on the tabletop, but I love sight for in the lore.
[SPEAKER_04]: So I think the Lord is amazing.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's the thing.
[SPEAKER_04]: Third edition he was now he was still terrible.
[SPEAKER_04]: Because you could only he could only lead him in certain armies.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sure you're out about that part.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Cypher has never been.
[SPEAKER_03]: Cypher has been useless in the tabletop forever and it's so, he's so important.
[SPEAKER_03]: So Cypher, he's not like Cypher.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's not like Cypher.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's not like Cypher.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's not like Cypher.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's not like Cypher.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's not like Cypher.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's not like Cypher.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's not like Cypher.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's not like Cypher.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's not like Cypher.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's not like Cypher.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's not like Cypher.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's not like Cypher.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's not like Cypher.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's not
[SPEAKER_03]: and goes on.
[SPEAKER_03]: And that is exactly what Cypher does.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm assuming, yeah, so put the cloak.
[SPEAKER_03]: Put the cloak on.
[SPEAKER_03]: And for those who don't know who Cypher is, Cypher is one of the most unfulfilling but amazing characters in all of the lore, because he just randomly pops up in these critical moments to do really cool stuff.
[SPEAKER_04]: He's also a neutral Jedi, basically.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he is cipher's awesome and there's been multiple cipher's potentially.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's the other piece too.
[SPEAKER_03]: We don't understand that's that we don't know the site.
[SPEAKER_03]: So I did the whole story just so I could just so I could say that we're in cipher.
[SPEAKER_03]: Now the night errands go all over the place.
[SPEAKER_03]: They they go to Mars and fight the dark mechanical.
[SPEAKER_03]: They recruit a bunch of more members.
[SPEAKER_03]: My favorite one of all of their stories that they have in this because they're just completely useless is they go to ball while saying when he is is fighting, you know,
[SPEAKER_03]: And with, I guess, Cobb Adon and tell everyone at ball that Sanguenius and their legion have fallen to a demonic invasion.
[SPEAKER_03]: So you guys need to come with us back to Seoul to which the bloody angels almost murder them because how dare you say that.
[SPEAKER_03]: Just in time for Sanguenius to call and say, Hey, guys, good news.
[SPEAKER_03]: We had a big fight, but we're going to run our way back.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's a useless story.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and I hate it.
[SPEAKER_04]: But it does push the fact that why they got so affected by his death, because Sanctuania's was a boss.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's true.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, in San Luis was a big deal.
[SPEAKER_04]: I just thought that whole story was like, if they're really, if I'm going abandoned your primary thing with you must be.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Not just you, we will murder you.
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
[SPEAKER_03]: If you tell us to do this one more time.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like that was done.
[SPEAKER_04]: Just don't put that idea out there.
[SPEAKER_04]: We'll just cut you now.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: The next one that they did, and we covered this a bit before with Lehman Rust stabbing chorus, but before we did that, before that happened.
[SPEAKER_03]: They decided to go and try and kill.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, it was a two-part mission to go and kill Horace.
[SPEAKER_03]: So the night, Aaron's decide, they know that there's an attack on Malach that Horace is part of.
[SPEAKER_03]: And they have a two-part mission.
[SPEAKER_03]: One, go kill Horace.
[SPEAKER_03]: But two, mark the way to Horace so that we can, if it doesn't work, we can go kill Horace later.
[SPEAKER_03]: Now, the reason I'm going to do this story real quick is because I have to talk some shit.
[SPEAKER_04]: This story was terribly written, so I'm going to talk about more sneaky space rings.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to talk about
[SPEAKER_03]: So the plan here is for ten space marines who are night irons.
[SPEAKER_03]: The board, the vengeful spirit.
[SPEAKER_03]: Horses flagged.
[SPEAKER_03]: So the flagship of the Trader legions.
[SPEAKER_03]: and sneak in and kill horse.
[SPEAKER_03]: So how do they do this?
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, simple, Brad, they have a stealth missile.
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what that means.
[SPEAKER_03]: I genuinely don't know what that means.
[SPEAKER_03]: They have a stealth vessel.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay, problem solved.
[SPEAKER_03]: So that's how that works apparently.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Don't worry, this stealth vessel gets stealthier and worse.
[SPEAKER_03]: they do successfully, thanks to their stealth vessel, sneak on to the most important ship of all of the traitor legions.
[SPEAKER_03]: She goes back.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah, they make it like three, they make it like like three, like door locks in and go like, oh, now we're under attack.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, everything goes around.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and they just start getting wrecked.
[SPEAKER_03]: And like four of them just die before they attach and brought in front of Horace.
[SPEAKER_03]: What saves them is that Garvel Locum is here.
[SPEAKER_04]: And Garvel was one of the favorites of Horace.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: Garvel again.
[SPEAKER_04]: Locum was a little wolf, which is Horace's chapter.
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
[SPEAKER_03]: So, and they were friends.
[SPEAKER_03]: Horace and Garvel were friends.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, he's part of the mornival.
[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_04]: which is his inner circle, also the beginning of the word.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's the thing about chorus.
[SPEAKER_04]: And chorus has a real reason to think this.
[SPEAKER_04]: chorus again has a magic power.
[SPEAKER_04]: This is not more tearing here.
[SPEAKER_03]: We're talking about chorus.
[SPEAKER_04]: chorus has his biggest power.
[SPEAKER_04]: Every primer has a power there.
[SPEAKER_04]: They're go-to thing.
[SPEAKER_04]: And this is in a case bar.
[SPEAKER_04]: This is his primary power.
[SPEAKER_04]: His primary power is to get others to just agree with him.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, legitimately as a magic power to do that.
[SPEAKER_04]: So he is pretty goddamn confident that he's going to make him see his way.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it doesn't.
[SPEAKER_03]: But this fight makes it, Nancy, it's not an argument breaks out between us.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's not a fight.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Horace would have, well, yeah, but Garvel and Horace start kind of just verbally getting into it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Where Garvel is, you know, yelling at him, this creates a distraction and the other night errands on this ship are able to escape their captors.
[SPEAKER_03]: Now, I recognize how stupid that sounds.
[SPEAKER_03]: don't worry it's about to get stupider because the aforementioned stealth ship has now moved around the ship and there are windows that look out into space because that's what you need in the spaceship and the stealth ship blows out the windows with its guns
[SPEAKER_03]: And then they go out to win us.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: And then everyone gets sucked out into space.
[SPEAKER_03]: And this sell ship picks them up and transports them back to ten.
[SPEAKER_03]: And they escape.
[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, he's the style baby.
[SPEAKER_03]: That actually hurt my soul to say it out loud.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, like we're talking about a stealth ship.
[SPEAKER_03]: So we the.
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_03]: The traders are aware that they've been infiltrated and no one went, hey, I wonder how they got there.
[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go find that ship.
[SPEAKER_03]: The ship continues to be stealth has guns powerful enough to blow a hole in a battleship, by the way.
[SPEAKER_03]: Or not about if they just battleships apparently are built with flimsy windows.
[SPEAKER_03]: Is it just actual with double paying glass?
[SPEAKER_03]: We're working with here.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's that we have single paying.
[SPEAKER_03]: Single paying glass.
[SPEAKER_03]: Single paying glass.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's all it is.
[SPEAKER_03]: So anyway, this missions are pretty bad failure sort of, except for it.
[SPEAKER_03]: It ends.
[SPEAKER_03]: So the mission itself is a failure, but the overall, the secondary missions is a success.
[SPEAKER_03]: Because this is how many missions a wild success.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, because this is how leaving Russ gets onto the vengeful spirit, stabs Horace, which causes Horace to have to give up even more of his soul that chaos, which probably creates the hubris within Horace.
[SPEAKER_04]: No, because, of course, he comes, he went from,
[SPEAKER_04]: constantly at conflict of being horrors.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, to be being a puppet, which a puppet of Horace is actually wildly less powerful than Horace.
[SPEAKER_03]: completely Horace, because in the end Horace, Horace's hubris is what took him down.
[SPEAKER_03]: His turn down turning off the shields and fighting the emperor.
[SPEAKER_03]: That was that's hubris that would never have happened if he hadn't given more of his soul the chaos.
[SPEAKER_03]: So in that what realm, it was a really good move, but this mission didn't work.
[SPEAKER_03]: So the last mission that went on is a completely useless mission that they wrote into a book just a full time where they begin searching for all the shards of madness around the universe.
[SPEAKER_03]: two things on that.
[SPEAKER_03]: One, every shard they find, they failed to capture every single one.
[SPEAKER_03]: And two, there was a shard just sitting on earth the whole time that Malkudor already had.
[SPEAKER_04]: This is why when we were talking about this one, I said, well, if they did absolutely nothing,
[SPEAKER_04]: There would be no change.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because the only positive guy out of this was it did give them very long story short.
[SPEAKER_03]: We'll cover later.
[SPEAKER_03]: One of the first inquisitors actually came out of this because there was a guy who got possessed by one of the shards of Magnus, then deep possessed thanks to arm on deep possessing him.
[SPEAKER_03]: Not as a favor by the way.
[SPEAKER_04]: No, he took the shards.
[SPEAKER_04]: And then he didn't want.
[SPEAKER_04]: He took the possession away because he didn't want to leave any power behind.
[SPEAKER_03]: And this then created a guy who was immune to demonic possession.
[SPEAKER_03]: This actually, actually, all of this that we just described was going on to the back of the Horace Heresy.
[SPEAKER_03]: Just before Horace entered his soul, demons and cultists are popping up all over Terra.
[SPEAKER_03]: And it was Heravus, because of course it was friggin' Heravus, but the knights aren't now on Terra, and they're the one they actually fight these demons back.
[SPEAKER_03]: at the end of these battles against them, out of nowhere, Malkador arrives and says to everyone, come with me, you're gonna go meet the emperor.
[SPEAKER_03]: And the emperor says something really critical, it's gonna set up our next cast.
[SPEAKER_03]: The emperor tells them that, you know, that their part as night errands, their part against Horace is concluded, which we'll get to one, some of the guys in a second.
[SPEAKER_03]: He needs them to focus on the real enemy, which is the warp.
[SPEAKER_03]: They are going, yeah, the warp.
[SPEAKER_03]: And so they are going to stand as the protection of humanity from destruction of the other one.
[SPEAKER_04]: The line, bulwark of humanity.
[SPEAKER_03]: They're going to be the, come, the bulwark of humanity.
[SPEAKER_03]: The Emperor tells that he selects nine of them.
[SPEAKER_03]: You go become these titans for humanity.
[SPEAKER_03]: One of them, Garrow declines because Garrow says, yeah, there's no scenario about your fight horse.
[SPEAKER_03]: And these are all teleported at this moment to a hidden moon based on Saturn to later become the Great Nights.
[SPEAKER_03]: So that's why we did this whole cast guys was we had to set up where the Great Nights come from.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: So that's the days cast on next cast will dive into the Great Nights themselves.
[SPEAKER_03]: They're growth from the heresy to modern times, equipment, key figures, all that stuff.
[SPEAKER_03]: But with that, it's been John Barsati and Brad Jester.
[SPEAKER_03]: See you next week.
