<v Speaker 1>Welcome on into the Nontender Podcast, the best place for speculation, appreciation,
<v Speaker 1>condemnation of Nintendo itself. I would it is finally warming
<v Speaker 1>up here on the East Coast. The snow is melting.
<v Speaker 1>Someone actually used my front path today and rang the
<v Speaker 1>doorbell for the first time in a month because everything melted.
<v Speaker 1>And Sally has the episode.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if you guys heard that.
<v Speaker 1>I was, alright, Sally, Hi, know what's going on? How
<v Speaker 1>you doing? Good to see you, guys. I'm excited for today,
<v Speaker 1>you know why. Positivity? Oh, I don't want to do
<v Speaker 1>any of that negativity crap today. Zelda hype.
<v Speaker 2>Though, No, we're not.
<v Speaker 1>But I bite into it too much and I will
<v Speaker 1>complain today. And if at any point I start complaining,
<v Speaker 1>you guys have to yell.
<v Speaker 2>At me and we'll keep the complaining from you. Thank you.
<v Speaker 1>I appreciate that. Thank you so much.
<v Speaker 2>Deluxe. Wow.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, so that, by the way, is an indication of
<v Speaker 1>something good. Actually, believe it or not. We got a
<v Speaker 1>brand new computer, yes it yeah, we got a brand
<v Speaker 1>new computer. If you've been watching these lights, whoa, if
<v Speaker 1>you've been watched at the end, the computer is not
<v Speaker 1>working out. No, we got a brand new computer because
<v Speaker 1>we kept getting crashes like too many. It's a full,
<v Speaker 1>brand new, powerful build, hoping we shouldn't crash. We did
<v Speaker 1>have to rebuild the stream again, which is a little
<v Speaker 1>frustrating because we finally dialed it in, didn't have any issues,
<v Speaker 1>got everything right pretty much, and now we've we're gonna
<v Speaker 1>have to have another episode where maybe things will be
<v Speaker 1>dialed in, but hopefully we won't crash. Hopefully. That's like
<v Speaker 1>the main that's the main, the goals. We just get
<v Speaker 1>through a clean episode. That's that's pretty much it.
<v Speaker 2>I'm hoping.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, And there's a lot of really fun things.
<v Speaker 1>We gotta talk about, so many fun things today. So
<v Speaker 1>the main topic when we get to it is going
<v Speaker 1>to be Zelder, which the fortieth aniversary I believe is
<v Speaker 1>on the twenty first. Yes, today is the nineteenth two days.
<v Speaker 1>As far as we know right now, nothing is happening
<v Speaker 1>on the Nintendo side. That might be like on the
<v Speaker 1>day a surprise tweet. It would be awesome. I don't
<v Speaker 1>want to get into it too early, but it would
<v Speaker 1>be awesome if out of nowhere there's a Zelder fortieth
<v Speaker 1>direct or there's like the win Waker HD, Twilet Printed
<v Speaker 1>SD something like that or something. Yeah, But you know,
<v Speaker 1>last I think on the thirty fit I'm already getting
<v Speaker 1>into it. But on the thirty fifth they did the
<v Speaker 1>game and watch Yeah, which I should have brought that
<v Speaker 1>in at Oh yeah, that thing is sick. It's really good, so,
<v Speaker 1>you know, hopefully, but as of right now as we
<v Speaker 1>sit here, there's nothing. So we're going to speculate things
<v Speaker 1>that we would like to see, but also just Zelder
<v Speaker 1>in general, talk about how we got into Zeuder, a
<v Speaker 1>love for the franchise, where we want to see it
<v Speaker 1>go in the future, which is stuff we've touched on
<v Speaker 1>a little, I think in a bonus episode we did,
<v Speaker 1>but we're going to go into it fully because so
<v Speaker 1>often I get the question, would what do you want
<v Speaker 1>for Zelda in the future, blah blah blah, and I
<v Speaker 1>can just point people to this from now on, So
<v Speaker 1>we're going to do that. But before we get to that,
<v Speaker 1>we have a bunch of side things to talk about,
<v Speaker 1>because there was supposed to be a direct today that
<v Speaker 1>didn't happen, but we'll talk about that. But there was
<v Speaker 1>a ton of updates today actually really, so yeah, for
<v Speaker 1>the switch to and like a lot of editions, and
<v Speaker 1>one game got to switch to edition out of Nowhere
<v Speaker 1>that I love and I spent all night playing it
<v Speaker 1>till three am. Really, and I'm going to talk about that.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, that's everything, a lot of everything today. Before
<v Speaker 1>we get into it, I do want to let people
<v Speaker 1>know a couple of fun things. One, the VIP patreons
<v Speaker 1>have been sent their first physical rewards. So, as I said,
<v Speaker 1>we sent them all socks, the Nintendo socks. Hey, guys
<v Speaker 1>in the previous episode, you can go, you can you
<v Speaker 1>can buy the soft you got socks in the mill.
<v Speaker 1>Take a pic, Yeah, take a pic. Actually we did
<v Speaker 1>get a pick. Actually, let me let me find it
<v Speaker 1>one of the patreons.
<v Speaker 2>Let's look at some feet and socks.
<v Speaker 1>Well they didn't they know, it's not that I think.
<v Speaker 1>I think that parts up for interpretations. So you can
<v Speaker 1>wear them if you want, but I mean, just show
<v Speaker 1>the packaging. I didn't open mine for a long time
<v Speaker 1>because I didn't want to ruin the packaging because it's
<v Speaker 1>so nice. I agree, you can actually see it here,
<v Speaker 1>so this is from miss Lisa. And then yeah, we
<v Speaker 1>also sent out these two stickers this month, so it's
<v Speaker 1>a bonus sticker and that's a boat that's a joke
<v Speaker 1>for the bonus. It's a bonus and a Nondo podcast sticker.
<v Speaker 1>You can see that there. And then there was another
<v Speaker 1>one I think from Booty by hershy friend of the show. No,
<v Speaker 1>it wasn't Booty, it was kb RN also share they
<v Speaker 1>bought the controller. Let's go thank you the Patreons. I
<v Speaker 1>like that little duck. Yeah, I don't know. I was
<v Speaker 1>going to ask, did we send the duck? I don't
<v Speaker 1>think we think so. Little bonus. Caleb must have put
<v Speaker 1>it in for free.
<v Speaker 2>You know.
<v Speaker 1>So if you're a vip Patreon you get physical rewards
<v Speaker 1>every month. Caleb and I and the team have been
<v Speaker 1>working on rewards for this month. And I'm gonna let
<v Speaker 1>you know now it's two more fun stickers custom art
<v Speaker 1>one of us yeah, Mario Tennis themed Yeah. And another
<v Speaker 1>sticker we're working on and we're gonna do like a
<v Speaker 1>big postcard that's Nintendo themed and I'm gonna write a
<v Speaker 1>message on it and I'm gonna hand sign everyone nice.
<v Speaker 2>That's actually if.
<v Speaker 1>You guys want, you can signed it too, about it
<v Speaker 1>or bring that would be really gonna be one hundred
<v Speaker 1>and twenty of them work out my arm anyway. So
<v Speaker 1>we're going to send that out for the patrons of
<v Speaker 1>this month, and then finally on that front, today's bonus
<v Speaker 1>episode is going to be fully live for everybody another
<v Speaker 1>w I know that's so excited. It's never done this before.
<v Speaker 1>It's a full We're going to essentially end this stream
<v Speaker 1>at some point and then just go live again. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>because I want everyone to see what a bonus episode is.
<v Speaker 1>Like today's bonus episode, it's talking about Nintendo and the
<v Speaker 1>company and the future of Nintendo and our concerns and
<v Speaker 1>what we want to see, almost like the Zelder conversation,
<v Speaker 1>but like a whole bracket. And we're going to give
<v Speaker 1>that to everybody this week. So if you like it
<v Speaker 1>and you enjoy it, if you want to see one
<v Speaker 1>hundred and fifty more or see them every week, you
<v Speaker 1>know where to go Patreon or YouTube members. And I
<v Speaker 1>might do this like once a year, not like a
<v Speaker 1>super common thing, but I thought it would be fun
<v Speaker 1>to some people realize it is like an it's an episode.
<v Speaker 1>It's a full on it like you're missing up but
<v Speaker 1>just much just like a third of the length. And
<v Speaker 1>they're better than ever now because they're so like Patreons
<v Speaker 1>actually picked the topic of this episode because they have
<v Speaker 1>so much input.
<v Speaker 2>They read, you read the questions that are sent in
<v Speaker 2>as well. Yeah, we're doing that today as well. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>link if you want to do Patreon YouTube member. I
<v Speaker 2>know I ranted a lot, but let's do this and
<v Speaker 2>then get into our topics for the day. Alright, Hey,
<v Speaker 2>the animation. I love watching pac Man vomit up Mario.
<v Speaker 2>Mario is the highlight of the stream for every week.
<v Speaker 2>It's heart of the week.
<v Speaker 1>Honestly, I said, every time I see it, I think
<v Speaker 1>of one comment we got that said that it sucked
<v Speaker 1>and we should get rid of it, And I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>For that reason, we got to keep it. We have
<v Speaker 2>to keep it.
<v Speaker 1>The memes now, all right, So what have we been playing?
<v Speaker 2>Who wants to go first? You should go first? Last
<v Speaker 2>week I went first and then he went second.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so what I've been actually been playing a lot
<v Speaker 1>so to begin with? You actually, should I show you? No,
<v Speaker 1>I won't show you yet. We'll talk about it later.
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to reveal the game that got the switch
<v Speaker 1>to edition that I love Subnordica. Really yeah, I not
<v Speaker 1>know that I actually loved Subnaudica. It was a game
<v Speaker 1>I put a lot of hours into but never finished
<v Speaker 1>because I just got distracted. It was obviously switched one,
<v Speaker 1>but out of nowhere. Yesterday I checked the e shop
<v Speaker 1>and there was a switch to version. And it looks phenomenal,
<v Speaker 1>like it looks so and it's sixty fps, or at
<v Speaker 1>least it runs like it looks like at sixty fps.
<v Speaker 1>I started playing it at like ten pm last night.
<v Speaker 1>I was up till three in the morning. I just
<v Speaker 1>loved that game so much. I'll talk about it more
<v Speaker 1>when we get to the the updates of everything.
<v Speaker 2>I also got in my Oh God, I pick it.
<v Speaker 1>Up my re Animal Wow, which I wanted to talk
<v Speaker 1>about if we get to in the bonus episode and
<v Speaker 1>might talk about game key cuts. Yeah, this is why
<v Speaker 1>I brought this in because this is a collector's edition,
<v Speaker 1>one of five thousand, and it was two hundred dollars.
<v Speaker 2>So what does it come with exactly?
<v Speaker 1>Not the game? Not well obvious, it's a gamekey cut. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>they buy it on PlayStation five, you get the game,
<v Speaker 1>but here, no, you get the key card. But what else?
<v Speaker 1>Make's a big pig and a bucket man. But you
<v Speaker 1>don't get the game Pig, Okay, I don't.
<v Speaker 2>It's really got the pig to keep you, you know,
<v Speaker 2>from crying at night from not getting the game.
<v Speaker 1>I'm really mad about it. But this is a really
<v Speaker 1>cool collectors edition actually, And I finished the game in
<v Speaker 1>essentially one sitting. It was only like three or four
<v Speaker 1>hours long.
<v Speaker 2>Really, Yeah, see how much is the game?
<v Speaker 1>Well, it's forty on its own, and then this was
<v Speaker 1>two hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, so it's a short game. I expected it.
<v Speaker 1>So it's from the creators of a Little Nightmares, and
<v Speaker 1>I did expect it to be a little longer. I
<v Speaker 1>will say it was pretty awesome, Like I was really
<v Speaker 1>gripped to it the whole time. It's you play, it's
<v Speaker 1>a it's a similar thing to Little Nightmares, where you're
<v Speaker 1>like these little characters, yeah, that you start with like
<v Speaker 1>a guy and a girl, and you could do call
<v Speaker 1>up if you wanted. I just did it automatically on
<v Speaker 1>my own. Sure, And you have to go around and
<v Speaker 1>save your friends. But as you're saving them, you realize
<v Speaker 1>that things are getting more and more twisted and demented,
<v Speaker 1>and that maybe things aren't actually what they seem and
<v Speaker 1>it's just a very creepy hiding from creachues type.
<v Speaker 2>But I really like it looks kind of like Stranger
<v Speaker 2>Things the box. That's when I thought it was to
<v Speaker 2>at first, if it was like a little game.
<v Speaker 1>I've actually been playing a lot. I think I'll leave it.
<v Speaker 1>Then I'll let you guys take it because we have
<v Speaker 1>a lot to talk about. Yeah, sure, you go me
<v Speaker 1>all right, Well, I've been playing a lot of Mario
<v Speaker 1>Kart Nice so, Mario Kart World and Mario KARTI Deluxe.
<v Speaker 2>Okay.
<v Speaker 1>And the reason I'm doing it because I have there's
<v Speaker 1>a video game tournament in Philly this weekend that I'm entering, uh,
<v Speaker 1>and I just want to see how good I can
<v Speaker 1>I can play. But uh, for the most part, it's
<v Speaker 1>been it's been fun kind of going back and forth
<v Speaker 1>between the games because World is so different in terms
<v Speaker 1>of like what you can play and how like Open
<v Speaker 1>World it feels versus like eight Deluxe. You have your courses,
<v Speaker 1>you have your you can like you know, customize your
<v Speaker 1>carts and everything, whereas World you have your static carts
<v Speaker 1>and bikes and everything. But when like you're going back
<v Speaker 1>and forth like a bunch kind of training for both
<v Speaker 1>you kind of forget what you can do in each game.
<v Speaker 1>So like in Mark Date Deluxe, I keep forgetting that
<v Speaker 1>I can't do multiple tricks, yeah, or I can't do
<v Speaker 1>like a quick little short hop into like a flip
<v Speaker 1>or anything.
<v Speaker 2>Multiple tricks is really pointless but so much fun. It's
<v Speaker 2>just like spin around on it, yeah, exactly, and even
<v Speaker 2>the short hop but doesn't really give you like are
<v Speaker 2>you doing it just to a forward flip so I can?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it doesn't really.
<v Speaker 2>It's actually slower to do that than it's.
<v Speaker 1>Just it's a mental thing for that is I just
<v Speaker 1>like doing that for some reason. But hopefully I do
<v Speaker 1>well this weekend. We'll find out how it goes. Apparently
<v Speaker 1>there's a bunch of you know, top players and world
<v Speaker 1>record holders for like time trials that are going to
<v Speaker 1>be there. So nice, we'll find out what have you take?
<v Speaker 1>Any pictures of a film? Anything interesting?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? Episode next week, I'll do that. I'm gonna how
<v Speaker 2>you do. So it's in Philadelphia.
<v Speaker 1>It's called Local Hosts is where it's at. That's like
<v Speaker 1>the venue it's taking place at. I'm going to try
<v Speaker 1>the i RL live stream. There's also like an official
<v Speaker 1>broadcast Okay, well we can bring up the live stream that. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I'll try to get some clips there for it. Wish
<v Speaker 1>wish me luck everyone, I wish you good luck.
<v Speaker 2>Good luck. Man.
<v Speaker 1>Wait before we start off with which one of the
<v Speaker 1>two do you like better? Just because I've been playing
<v Speaker 1>it more again, I think eight Deluxe. I think eight
<v Speaker 1>Deluxe is like better in a technical stance as far
<v Speaker 1>as with the booster course passed as well with all
<v Speaker 1>those extra courses and yeah, it is like Pinnacle and
<v Speaker 1>I love playing his link on the bike. Yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you can't beat that.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like Mario Karr worlds more technical with all
<v Speaker 2>the different shortcuts you could take and the hops and tricks.
<v Speaker 2>But in that sense, yes, eight Deluxe is just more
<v Speaker 2>of speed and just knowing your shortcuts if you can.
<v Speaker 1>That's why I think more technical is because you are
<v Speaker 1>more limited. There's not like all these crazy tricks and flips,
<v Speaker 1>like you kind of your all on level playing field
<v Speaker 1>and it's just who's like faster?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, like who cannot get hit by the Do you
<v Speaker 2>play on TC predominantly or predominantly?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, because that's what I love to trying to get you,
<v Speaker 1>is that like frantic items hardcom pause and all that
<v Speaker 1>kind of good stuff. Have you done a custom game
<v Speaker 1>in Mario Cutt World and made the item's only Chemick?
<v Speaker 2>No? It is that sound much fun?
<v Speaker 1>It's so much fun because not only are you constantly
<v Speaker 1>changing characters, but Chemick puts a ton of stuff in
<v Speaker 1>front of you. Yeah, like, oh yeah, when when like
<v Speaker 1>twenty Races or whatever are doing that, you can't drive
<v Speaker 1>like you can't, like literally, there's no point drifting because
<v Speaker 1>you'll just hit everything. It makes more sense to try
<v Speaker 1>and duck and weed in everything, and it's just chaotic fun.
<v Speaker 1>I will have to try it next time, man, I'll
<v Speaker 1>keep that in mind.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, what you got? As for me, I've it's been
<v Speaker 2>a light week for me. I've only played through Super
<v Speaker 2>Mario Galaxy Two's Green Stars okay for a video. No,
<v Speaker 2>not for a video, just kind of for fun because
<v Speaker 2>I've never actually played through the Green Stars ever in
<v Speaker 2>my life, so I don't know what that is. I
<v Speaker 2>can't remember. So, like you know, and you have the
<v Speaker 2>main game one hundred and twenty one Stars, and then
<v Speaker 2>you have the post game, which is on another one
<v Speaker 2>hundred and twenty one stars. I'm not peeing. I'm filling
<v Speaker 2>up my water bottle. Yeah, and he's definitely peeing.
<v Speaker 1>Don't cut to him, but just use your imagination, reimagine it, reimagined.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, I played through that a little bit.
<v Speaker 2>And then I also finally bought the switch to edition
<v Speaker 2>of Tiers of the Kingdom for five dollars. Okay, okay, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I was just like really curious to see, like I'm obviously.
<v Speaker 1>Starting to actually just updated it. They updated it again. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>they updated ton of like bug fixes. Okay, I'm pretty sure. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>makes sense. It made me update obviously.
<v Speaker 2>But like what's really cool about Tears of the Kingdom
<v Speaker 2>is like you have the interactive map on your phone
<v Speaker 2>and it literally shows you like the live cursor, and
<v Speaker 2>then you can like have all the things like you
<v Speaker 2>know turned on, Like.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, well it is like having GPS literally GPS on
<v Speaker 1>your It is so sick and I've been having so
<v Speaker 1>much fun playing through that. I definitely want to make
<v Speaker 1>a video. Are you doing the voice memos as well?
<v Speaker 1>And then ping off? Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>I mean but not right now, that's not my priority. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>got that's okay.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, Actually, can you share my screen because I was
<v Speaker 1>going to bring up the games I've been playing as
<v Speaker 1>a whole. Okay, ignore the resident Evils. Actually, I think
<v Speaker 1>that's under Imbogger. So I played the Master Hana demo
<v Speaker 1>and I was actually liking it, but then I saw
<v Speaker 1>that the game comes out in like a month, and
<v Speaker 1>I was like, I'm gonna stop because I'm going to
<v Speaker 1>forget everything. Yeah, Asphalt is a free game that just
<v Speaker 1>came out. I I downloaded the Virtual five Bait.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't get around to actual switch edition or does
<v Speaker 2>that switch to what is the asphalts?
<v Speaker 1>It switched to?
<v Speaker 2>Oh nice?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I haven't checked it out yet, though Virtual Boy
<v Speaker 1>came out. I made a video on that. Yeah, it's
<v Speaker 1>actually sat right here and how I didn't mention that.
<v Speaker 2>Wow, so you got another one and you put it
<v Speaker 2>back in the box.
<v Speaker 1>I put it back in the box. Okay, so you're
<v Speaker 1>done with it. Yeah, it went straight in on my
<v Speaker 1>game shelf.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I thought it was going to sit there until I
<v Speaker 1>was like, I should bring it to the podcast. Yeah yeah, no,
<v Speaker 1>I mean I said it in my video. It was
<v Speaker 1>fun to mess around with it. I'm not sitting there
<v Speaker 1>and getting motion sickness at a headache because you have
<v Speaker 1>to like lean forward to Yeah, lean forward your neck hut. Legitimately,
<v Speaker 1>Tetris legitimately made Kim and I emotion sick, not kidding.
<v Speaker 2>Did it strain your eyes?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah? Well what Yes, it depends on the game. Warrior
<v Speaker 1>Land has developed so well and so nice and so
<v Speaker 1>fluidly that I think I could play that whole game
<v Speaker 1>and be fine, like a two D platformer. But Tetris
<v Speaker 1>legitimately was making me emotions. It just kept moving, it
<v Speaker 1>kept moving, and then Pinball, Uh, it was just a mess,
<v Speaker 1>like I couldn't really see what was happening, and it's
<v Speaker 1>so slow. And there's something fun about pinball when there's
<v Speaker 1>all these colors and lights and things flashing. It's not
<v Speaker 1>the same when it's all in red. Yeah, so it's yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's back in the botto. And you said they're going
<v Speaker 1>to like update like the color options too. I think
<v Speaker 1>at some point, yeah, they're going to add in like
<v Speaker 1>yellow and white and these options, but it's like it's
<v Speaker 1>still monotoned.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>So you certainly have one of the cars. Much did
<v Speaker 1>you spend on that? I don't remember. I bought it
<v Speaker 1>so long ago. I really don't remember. One hundred I
<v Speaker 1>think I don't. I honestly don't remember.
<v Speaker 2>Guys, how much is a virtual boy in the chap Oh?
<v Speaker 1>This looks great. I know it's so, I'm just going
<v Speaker 1>to quickly dive in. It just came out of nowhere,
<v Speaker 1>and then we can jump into our topics here.
<v Speaker 2>And this is the official release or a demo. This
<v Speaker 2>is official release.
<v Speaker 1>It just clearly the first game, end the second game,
<v Speaker 1>and it's a free upgrades, so if you already have
<v Speaker 1>the game, you don't pay anything for it, which I
<v Speaker 1>love that pretty much.
<v Speaker 2>Sorrydo how's it sound? It sounds great.
<v Speaker 1>I love that all these third party games are offering
<v Speaker 1>free outgrades. Because Xeno Blake Chronicles X Definitive Edition, Nintendo
<v Speaker 1>Switch two editions, what a name? There's two editions in
<v Speaker 1>the name too. That's five dollars. Yeah, so it's and
<v Speaker 1>it's like, I have this whole thing. I go back
<v Speaker 1>and forth on it. I'm like, we spent five hundred
<v Speaker 1>dollars to upgrade to a console that the biggest change
<v Speaker 1>is four K sixty, And then every game from Nintendo
<v Speaker 1>that's already out that we want to get four K sixty,
<v Speaker 1>they're like, well that's going to.
<v Speaker 2>Cost more, but it's only five dollars.
<v Speaker 1>I know, but that's it's only five dollars, you know,
<v Speaker 1>so why why are you doing that.
<v Speaker 2>Versus like Spotoons was free.
<v Speaker 1>We already spent so much money on the consoles. Technically,
<v Speaker 1>Super Mari three D World, Super Mario. Those are so good,
<v Speaker 1>I think. I think whatever system I have this going
<v Speaker 1>through is making it choppy and a bit laggy. And
<v Speaker 1>I don't think you're getting the full sixty Promise me.
<v Speaker 1>I promise you. It's very smooth. But here you can
<v Speaker 1>at least see the visuals. It's so cool. For example,
<v Speaker 1>the first time I played this was on switch. I
<v Speaker 1>never even noticed there was a planet up there, so
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what it is, but it's just one
<v Speaker 1>of those things where when you see something in full
<v Speaker 1>like four K or whatever it is, suddenly you're like,
<v Speaker 1>oh god, there's like a giant planet up there. I
<v Speaker 1>never saw when the switch was blurry. I remember playing
<v Speaker 1>this on my PC one. I love this game. I'm
<v Speaker 1>starting to build a base. It's awesome. Nice, but yeah, anyway, sorry,
<v Speaker 1>so I want to show that off. I wanted to
<v Speaker 1>give that to you up to me. Switch that back.
<v Speaker 1>Then we can do this and actually get started. Beautiful
<v Speaker 1>look at that side quest time, So do we get
<v Speaker 1>backwards today? We're going to do the side quest first
<v Speaker 1>and get some of the topical news out of the
<v Speaker 1>way before we dive into our Zelda main quest, which
<v Speaker 1>Zelda main quest is fun to say.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, So.
<v Speaker 1>I guess I'll start by saying, because we have to
<v Speaker 1>address it, I feel this last week's episode was all
<v Speaker 1>about that big direct room. Yes, so Nash Wheedle on
<v Speaker 1>Attack the Backlogs podcast confidently claimed that there would be
<v Speaker 1>a direct this month this week. Sorry today, Actually we
<v Speaker 1>said or I said that. If they were wrong, then
<v Speaker 1>I think it's finally time to not listen. It didn't happen,
<v Speaker 1>so like, I don't want to you know, it is
<v Speaker 1>what it is. You know, it didn't happen. I don't
<v Speaker 1>want to be mean it didn't happen. I mean sometimes
<v Speaker 1>things change, sometimes things move around. But there was already
<v Speaker 1>some red flags we talked about, like how he knew
<v Speaker 1>a week and a half out and Nate said nothing
<v Speaker 1>about it before. Nate said nothing about it beforehand, and
<v Speaker 1>then the other guy, the main Attack the podcast guy
<v Speaker 1>was saying like, oh, maybe it's the whole of next month,
<v Speaker 1>which like that's just taking a thought and throw broad
<v Speaker 1>board at that point, I mean, like, yeah, it probably
<v Speaker 1>will be one next month. So the little iffy we
<v Speaker 1>brought up an article and I read the article of
<v Speaker 1>verbatim that said that you know, he might not have
<v Speaker 1>one hundred percent accuracy. Uh, and apparently he doesn't, so
<v Speaker 1>you know, as it is, So what did Nashweetles say?
<v Speaker 2>That was like alluding to him feeling very confident that
<v Speaker 2>there was a director.
<v Speaker 1>I don't really know much about either of them, and
<v Speaker 1>I never never assumed to Yeah, I think he just
<v Speaker 1>said he heard something.
<v Speaker 2>I think it's like a Nate the Hate situation. I'm guessing, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>You know allegedly that he just he hears some things
<v Speaker 1>and he's been right before and wrong before, and whatever
<v Speaker 1>you heard this time. I have a I mean, there's
<v Speaker 1>a theory that you've heard a lot before. But I
<v Speaker 1>feel like Nintendo they have like these fake leakers that
<v Speaker 1>work for them people and they put things out there
<v Speaker 1>to see like who's talking to who, or like to
<v Speaker 1>kind of weed out how like people are that.
<v Speaker 2>I don't think they're doing that, but if they did,
<v Speaker 2>that would be very smart.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, maybe you ever know, I will say though
<v Speaker 1>to Nash's credit. Something did kind of happen today. It
<v Speaker 1>wasn't big, but out of nowhere. We did get a
<v Speaker 1>few things from Nintendo. So if you look over even
<v Speaker 1>at Nintendo's YouTube page for the last day or two,
<v Speaker 1>a lot of things did happen. The biggest one would
<v Speaker 1>be you can show my screen that outam No, I
<v Speaker 1>think out of nowhere. I think this was literally just
<v Speaker 1>something that could have been in a direct today seen
<v Speaker 1>a Blake Chronicles ex Definitive edition Nintendo switch To Edition,
<v Speaker 1>as we said, ridiculous name, Yeah that is. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what else they would have called it
<v Speaker 1>really at that point, because it is the definitive edition
<v Speaker 1>and this is the switch to version. Maybe just drop
<v Speaker 1>the addition on the switch to for this one.
<v Speaker 2>Well they gottaep, yeah, I mean they got it's yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I don't love the Nintendo switch To Edition branding on
<v Speaker 1>all of these games. I've never really been I mean,
<v Speaker 1>it's clear, it's just clear, I guess. But because I've
<v Speaker 1>been a fan of it, well, I think back to
<v Speaker 1>like how they did like some dual releases on GameCube
<v Speaker 1>and wi and they didn't call it we addition because
<v Speaker 1>those are two separately. They are completely different consoles. I
<v Speaker 1>get that you want to like show, like even on
<v Speaker 1>this screenshot here, like the difference between Switch and one
<v Speaker 1>and Switch two. Yeah, it has to show the average
<v Speaker 1>consumer like, hey, this is X, but it is the
<v Speaker 1>Switch to version.
<v Speaker 2>It is better.
<v Speaker 1>I will say it looks pretty great. It looks but
<v Speaker 1>it does look pretty great, and it is actually a
<v Speaker 1>pretty good game. I the first time I played it
<v Speaker 1>on Wi You, I hated it and I didn't get
<v Speaker 1>very far in and I was like, oh, this is
<v Speaker 1>not a good game. This time I pushed past that
<v Speaker 1>point because like I was like, surely this gets good
<v Speaker 1>at some point. It takes a bit. It takes maybe
<v Speaker 1>like five to ten hours. Wow, I know.
<v Speaker 2>I know.
<v Speaker 1>It's the Zeno Play commitments. All of the Zeno Play
<v Speaker 1>games other than one in three, which I feel like
<v Speaker 1>hit the ground running two in this one two takes
<v Speaker 1>like thirty hours to get good. This one took like ten.
<v Speaker 1>But once you get into the meat of it and
<v Speaker 1>you're running around the world and running missions, that was
<v Speaker 1>pretty fun. Were there's big Mex called again, they're I
<v Speaker 1>don't know, because you don't get that until like twenty
<v Speaker 1>five hours. Oh, okay, and I'm not sure I got
<v Speaker 1>that far. That's on the best parts of the game,
<v Speaker 1>because I yeah, I know, I was waiting for I
<v Speaker 1>got like a I got a mech, but I got
<v Speaker 1>it was like a light. I got a mech and
<v Speaker 1>I showed my friend Sean. I was like, I got
<v Speaker 1>the mech and he was like, you got the baby mach.
<v Speaker 1>I think I think you get a good, better one. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not great or something, but I was waiting for this. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I was waiting for a for a four K patch
<v Speaker 1>and this is a four K sixty patch. So that
<v Speaker 1>was today. I mean there's also some other cool things.
<v Speaker 1>I showed you the Virtual Fighter demo, but also my
<v Speaker 1>Mario came out today. My Marios for anybody with a
<v Speaker 1>kid or expecting you might want to take clastic because
<v Speaker 1>this is really cool. They have a baby toys. They
<v Speaker 1>have everything from like actual babies to toddler's.
<v Speaker 2>That is so cute. You're gonna buy it for your son.
<v Speaker 1>I think I will. Yeah, I would have to make
<v Speaker 1>a video, but we were choosing not to put him
<v Speaker 1>on camera, so that's smart. I don't really know how
<v Speaker 1>I would navigate it other than blurring his face, But
<v Speaker 1>I don't think you could do like a recreation, like
<v Speaker 1>you could do exactly what he does in the video.
<v Speaker 2>Like that's true, believe what he did?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, okay no, And then this app came out on
<v Speaker 1>app Store and also it's on switch I believe today.
<v Speaker 1>I haven't looked for it. Interesting, Yeah, there you go,
<v Speaker 1>and you can kind of play just kind of touch Mario,
<v Speaker 1>you know, Mario, touch Mario, so I might see if
<v Speaker 1>he's into that. Although we're not doing screens yet, but hey, Pat,
<v Speaker 1>could you turn the A C on a bit more
<v Speaker 1>in him? That was so queer beautiful. That was like,
<v Speaker 1>I'm not going to bring it up, but there was
<v Speaker 1>a clip I saw of the of Biden and he
<v Speaker 1>was in the office and he was talking to someone
<v Speaker 1>and the guy with James because name was Gordon. He
<v Speaker 1>was like, how quickly do you get things done around here?
<v Speaker 1>And he was like pretty quick and he was like,
<v Speaker 1>can I get an ice cream? And he just hits
<v Speaker 1>a button and he's like, does that get me an
<v Speaker 1>ice cream? And then he said we'll see, and two
<v Speaker 1>seconds later Pat walks in with an ice cream.
<v Speaker 2>That'd be awesome.
<v Speaker 1>He is, look at that, people, man, I'm using the
<v Speaker 1>chat for past wus in the chat. Oh yeah, ah
<v Speaker 1>so while wait here, say hi, Redd, he's got a
<v Speaker 1>camera in there, right, Oh he does. Why don't we
<v Speaker 1>see you? Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>I want to see real quick. Oh you just put
<v Speaker 2>them on the spot there.
<v Speaker 1>He is that slow Star Wars fade. That are you
<v Speaker 1>doing back there? We just snacks your Beveda's and your almonds?
<v Speaker 2>Okay, nice behind the scenes bro super Official Studio.
<v Speaker 1>Wait Caleb say hi, okay, well okay, well, oh just
<v Speaker 1>slow transition.
<v Speaker 2>Hey, you need the actual Star Wars transition? Like why
<v Speaker 2>does the camera look like they're in a cock like
<v Speaker 2>a like a back to the feature? It is nice?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah they do.
<v Speaker 1>They look like my my reverse camera on my car.
<v Speaker 1>It looks like mission control or something. That's awesome. Okay, cool.
<v Speaker 1>It says we can't hear them. No audio from them, unfortunately,
<v Speaker 1>audio on you guys about no not again. It's ok
<v Speaker 1>you guys saw they were yelling the whole time.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I usually turned it off, but it's on now.
<v Speaker 1>It's on now, Okay, maybe yeah, chet, let's know if
<v Speaker 1>you can hear them now.
<v Speaker 2>I guess we'll find out.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, I guess I should say something, right, yeah, yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that would help.
<v Speaker 2>Look, I leave the talking to you guys. No, I know, okay.
<v Speaker 1>I'm actually enjoying this little break because I have a
<v Speaker 1>few things to pull up and then I'm good to
<v Speaker 1>talk about Zelder. I have three more things to show you, guys. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>still no sound. They're saying on them that for some reason,
<v Speaker 1>the mic in there, it never works. Even when you
<v Speaker 1>guys say that it works, it never actually works.
<v Speaker 2>So they're just lying to right now.
<v Speaker 1>They said they heard that. I think, oh okay, now
<v Speaker 1>it just oh that's okay. So they think we're just
<v Speaker 1>crazy kind of talking. Maybe we should get you on
<v Speaker 1>like a button switch where you can just go if
<v Speaker 1>you want to.
<v Speaker 2>Talk, but switch.
<v Speaker 1>But it's a different Maybe we need it in a
<v Speaker 1>new place, in a more physical place, right next to you.
<v Speaker 1>I like a like one of like those pedal, like yeah,
<v Speaker 1>like a petal. M hm, there you go.
<v Speaker 2>Oh I love that. It's a bonus sticker on your
<v Speaker 2>drink bottle. I just noticed that. Yep. And then he
<v Speaker 2>has his Nintendo Look at that, Look at that beautiful See, guys,
<v Speaker 2>these are what stickers are made for for bottles, sticking
<v Speaker 2>on things. No, no, no, specifically, to stick on the bottle. Yeah, yes,
<v Speaker 2>all right, I'm ready. You can throw to me and
<v Speaker 2>you can bring this up. Okay.
<v Speaker 1>So there was a I was wanting to show this
<v Speaker 1>because I thought it was cool. There was a big
<v Speaker 1>update for Assassin's Creed Shadows on the Switch. If you
<v Speaker 1>guys didn't seem this is a video from Switch Up,
<v Speaker 1>who are actually friends of the show. Not that usually
<v Speaker 1>when I say that, I'm just saying it, but no,
<v Speaker 1>I actually love Switch Up and we talk sometimes. So
<v Speaker 1>they took some footage here of the original release of
<v Speaker 1>this game, which I at the time looked nice, but
<v Speaker 1>the biggest thing that was wrong with it was the water,
<v Speaker 1>Like the water reflections looked pretty horrible and the frame
<v Speaker 1>rates were inconsistent. But out of nowhere, I guess they
<v Speaker 1>dropped this big switch to update and it just it
<v Speaker 1>looks so much nicer now. And they have some that's
<v Speaker 1>they're doing some comparison to Outlaws there, but the game
<v Speaker 1>just looks really very much improved. I'm trying to find
<v Speaker 1>a clip of him not zooming in and actually walking around,
<v Speaker 1>but some of these shots, it's actually still shocking to
<v Speaker 1>me that it's on a switch to like this even
<v Speaker 1>with the people walking around there in the background. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I just wanted to highlight this. If you have the
<v Speaker 1>game where you've been thinking about a free update, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean yeah, I mean they can't charge you to
<v Speaker 1>fix it, you know, I mean it's a switch it's
<v Speaker 1>a switch to game.
<v Speaker 2>The whole time.
<v Speaker 1>The only thing that they pointed out is the handheld.
<v Speaker 1>So the doc version is making use of all the power. Now, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>the handheld version, they couldn't figure out the reflections, so
<v Speaker 1>he actually shows a comparison here between between. So that's
<v Speaker 1>what it looks like docked. That's looks like handheld. Oh wow.
<v Speaker 1>And that's the handheld, by the way, is what the
<v Speaker 1>game looked like docked before.
<v Speaker 2>Oh wow. So definitely change so that it came out
<v Speaker 2>for Switch two, and then they had to update it
<v Speaker 2>to like make it look better.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean, yes, I think it was more. They
<v Speaker 1>they had a version of the game that they released
<v Speaker 1>and they were one hundred percent happy with it, and
<v Speaker 1>they spent some more time with the port and they
<v Speaker 1>they found ways to.
<v Speaker 2>Fix it and then they make it make it more.
<v Speaker 2>That's good.
<v Speaker 1>So and I mean that's I mean, it's new hardware
<v Speaker 1>and they're also trying to cram these games onto it,
<v Speaker 1>but I think the more that we move along, the
<v Speaker 1>more people are going to get better at actually using
<v Speaker 1>the hardware and developing for it. Yeah. So yeah, anyway,
<v Speaker 1>I wanted to show that because I thought that was
<v Speaker 1>a cool update. Quickly, Dusk Bloods has made the rounds
<v Speaker 1>in rumors because yesterday, out of nowhere, on the Australian
<v Speaker 1>Shop and a Finish Finish e shop it was listed
<v Speaker 1>as a release date on twenty seventh of March, and
<v Speaker 1>then it was quickly removed.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, it sounds like a placeholder date.
<v Speaker 1>It does, maybe, But then after that Nintendo Australia started
<v Speaker 1>promoting it in ad spaces on Reddit and places like that,
<v Speaker 1>with Dust Bloods coming to Switch too. So so you
<v Speaker 1>have them revealing the release date let's say, accidentally and
<v Speaker 1>then removing it. Yeah. But then also they started ramping
<v Speaker 1>up advertising on it. Sorry, oh thank you. They started
<v Speaker 1>ramping up advertising spaces on it, which people are like,
<v Speaker 1>is it actually coming pretty soon? Because like, why are
<v Speaker 1>you ramping up the advertising?
<v Speaker 2>I hope it is. I mean, the twenty seventh of
<v Speaker 2>March would be a good time to drop, like next month.
<v Speaker 1>Though it would be really cool. People are pointed out
<v Speaker 1>that we're still waiting on elden Ring, Yeah, and it
<v Speaker 1>seems weird to not do that before.
<v Speaker 2>The elder Ring hasn't been They just showed the trailers off.
<v Speaker 1>They didn't actually announce they have a n release date.
<v Speaker 1>Night just pointed out double release date. That's not out
<v Speaker 1>of the question. It's literally what Resident Evils doing to say,
<v Speaker 1>as an Evil seven and eight are coming out the
<v Speaker 1>same day as nine, so it's not impossible that elder
<v Speaker 1>Ring and dust Blood's come out on the same day.
<v Speaker 1>Eld and Ring was shown off, like the build of
<v Speaker 1>it was shown off at Games Come last year, and
<v Speaker 1>we got some reports out of that that said that
<v Speaker 1>it wasn't running the best. People were pretty disappointed in it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>so I think that's what's taking so long as they're
<v Speaker 1>fine tuning it. I think it was supposed to be
<v Speaker 1>out by now. That's my guess is that they probably
<v Speaker 1>wanted that out, probably back when they revealed it in
<v Speaker 1>Games Come, because at the same time they were doing
<v Speaker 1>hands on for a lot of games that have already
<v Speaker 1>come out, so they're probably cooking it more. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>could see a double release date could be possible. Anyway,
<v Speaker 1>I just wanted to show it off and talk about it.
<v Speaker 1>It's nothing confirmed, but it is interesting. Yeah, twenty seventh
<v Speaker 1>of March is a random like a placeholder. Date is
<v Speaker 1>usually a thirty first, and it's usually like the end
<v Speaker 1>of the year, like December thirty first. Yeah, it's not
<v Speaker 1>usual in March twenty seven. That's just a random date
<v Speaker 1>for it. I'm checking it now. It's it's literally the
<v Speaker 1>last Friday in March. Yeah, that doesn't sound like an
<v Speaker 1>odd time.
<v Speaker 2>True.
<v Speaker 1>Games also for Switch, I mean they usually come out,
<v Speaker 1>like big releases usually come out on Thursday. We talked
<v Speaker 1>about that, you know, like Mayo Tennis was last Thursday,
<v Speaker 1>for example. Yeah, so Friday seems off to me. But
<v Speaker 1>it is also not Nintendo. It is it is a
<v Speaker 1>first party game, but it's not Nintendo. It's from Soft.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Interesting. We're at thirty minutes, so I want to quickly
<v Speaker 1>speaking of the Virtual Boy, I'm just gonna show you
<v Speaker 1>a clip I put it in our discord so you
<v Speaker 1>guys might have seen this or oh yes, so you
<v Speaker 1>guys are new to this the legend because on this
<v Speaker 1>channel before we've taken a look at some dsp clips.
<v Speaker 1>Me and my friend Fried Biscuits laughed a lot at
<v Speaker 1>his Mario cut gameplay. Oh gosh, there's another classic banger
<v Speaker 1>clip from dsp here playing the Virtual Boy. I just
<v Speaker 1>want to show it because it's so good. All you
<v Speaker 1>need to know is he streamed the Virtual Boy, but
<v Speaker 1>did nothing in no way of showing people the gameplay.
<v Speaker 1>Got learned some coins. Okay, this is hidden door.
<v Speaker 2>It is.
<v Speaker 1>I got to a hidden door and I just jumped
<v Speaker 1>into it.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, we never know. I mean there's no sounds
<v Speaker 3>like war. I don't know what the hell that does.
<v Speaker 3>But then it says exit, and you gotta go back
<v Speaker 3>out the door you came in.
<v Speaker 2>I don't even know. He's so now I just.
<v Speaker 1>Again, and now I'm platforming. It's now across the lava
<v Speaker 1>and it works.
<v Speaker 2>You can. Oh no.
<v Speaker 3>So I was dashing across and I made it across
<v Speaker 3>three platforms, but I fell into the fourth and lost
<v Speaker 3>my power up. I just got another one, yo, I
<v Speaker 3>just got the power up back. Those bats that drop
<v Speaker 3>spikes are back.
<v Speaker 1>I just so I sent this. I have a group
<v Speaker 1>chat with my friend Sean and Joe, and I sent
<v Speaker 1>this in that and Joe was like, he has to
<v Speaker 1>be rage baiting at this point.
<v Speaker 2>No, I don't know, no, no, no, he locks self aware.
<v Speaker 2>But I've watched hundreds of hours clips of this guy.
<v Speaker 2>He's actually unaware.
<v Speaker 1>So like the you know, the whole thing with him
<v Speaker 1>from back in the day. Yeah, like the first like
<v Speaker 1>controversial thing that happened with him.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know. This guy has been in controversy since
<v Speaker 2>I started YouTube.
<v Speaker 1>It's okay, family friendly at least I try and keep it.
<v Speaker 1>But DSP's like big first moment where like he online
<v Speaker 1>made it. He he ended a stream and then did
<v Speaker 1>something that you typically do. I know what you're talking about, really,
<v Speaker 1>and he left the camera on oh man, Yeah, and
<v Speaker 1>it's very Patreon. It's very funny. It's very unfortunate. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I know for sure. But since then, every time a
<v Speaker 1>clip of him pops up, it's always like him doing
<v Speaker 1>something dumb, like not to that level, but like this. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>and to me it's like maybe back then that was
<v Speaker 1>a fake.
<v Speaker 2>But have you seen him play video games? Though? Like
<v Speaker 2>he actually complains about everything. I know, although he sucks,
<v Speaker 2>like he doesn't even try. I mean, I'll bring up
<v Speaker 2>the Mario cut is the one. Watch him play Galaxy too,
<v Speaker 2>watched him play Galaxy to a Galaxy one? Bro everything
<v Speaker 2>he complains, he doesn't jump and he falls like, bro,
<v Speaker 2>what the hell he didn't even jump? Like, you didn't
<v Speaker 2>even jump.
<v Speaker 1>Bro, I'm thinking the one clip. I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>this is it. Well, let's let's see.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know. I'm trying to it is just a
<v Speaker 2>bunch of clips. Yeah, is it?
<v Speaker 1>There's one in particular where he like misses a jump.
<v Speaker 1>It might it might be this one. It might be
<v Speaker 1>with the turn. Yeah, it's the turn, is what I'm
<v Speaker 1>looking so well for playing with himself during live stream? Stuggus, Well,
<v Speaker 1>why this is the clip? But why someone whispering over it? Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we all it's fine, don't worry. Yeah, but it's the
<v Speaker 1>one we're like, yeah, like the the errors are telling
<v Speaker 1>you to go off the hills. He intentionally goes the
<v Speaker 1>wrong way and then starts complaining that the game told
<v Speaker 1>me to.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's so good. Sorry, I had to show it's
<v Speaker 2>so good. It's funny how like people that like do
<v Speaker 2>clips of him or like live stream themselves reacting to him,
<v Speaker 2>like have way more viewers than like Dark Side Phil.
<v Speaker 2>That's funny.
<v Speaker 1>It's so funny. There's one like changing a camera POV
<v Speaker 1>and like somehow the camera just locked on him staring
<v Speaker 1>right into the frame. Was just like looking right at you,
<v Speaker 1>like just menacingly. So yeah, sorry, I'm sorry. My brain,
<v Speaker 1>my brain goes a million different places. I don't mean
<v Speaker 1>to interrupt you and pull a handbrake and go a
<v Speaker 1>different direction. It can I do it though, go for it?
<v Speaker 2>Okay.
<v Speaker 1>So gamekey cuts, Oh yeah, that thing. I'm not gonna
<v Speaker 1>talk about it right now, but it was a big
<v Speaker 1>discussion about Final Fantasy seven because the director of the game,
<v Speaker 1>or the I think it was the director said something
<v Speaker 1>about how the reason why they did a gamekey cut
<v Speaker 1>was because running it off the hardware is two times
<v Speaker 1>faster than running off the game key cut. I think
<v Speaker 1>it's a really interesting conversation, and I want to have
<v Speaker 1>it in today's bonus episode, which is going to be
<v Speaker 1>free for everybody. So I'm going to move that conversation
<v Speaker 1>over to there so we don't get bogged down with
<v Speaker 1>it right now, and if you're okay, I would like
<v Speaker 1>to move in quickly to a thirty second sponsor, and
<v Speaker 1>then our main quest, let's do it is that Okay,
<v Speaker 1>over it? Okay, So today's sponsor. It's actually not a sponsor,
<v Speaker 1>it's a partner. Hit that you you did already. I
<v Speaker 1>was gonn say hit that eShop music and I heard
<v Speaker 1>it Game of s Ups Baby.
<v Speaker 2>Wow, bullets, bullets jam packed with cafe. This is actually
<v Speaker 2>my gamer SUPs cup, which you can't get anymore. That's
<v Speaker 2>that's that's you and you're a wife, right yeah, and
<v Speaker 2>then the backs of our pads. And then so the
<v Speaker 2>way I wanted it designed, you can't buy this anymore.
<v Speaker 1>So it doesn't matter. Is I wanted the joy cons
<v Speaker 1>to be seen through. So so the drink you filled
<v Speaker 1>up with like red liquid, you I knows you can't
<v Speaker 1>get it anymore.
<v Speaker 2>Man.
<v Speaker 1>So Game of SUPs is a They're not like sponsoring
<v Speaker 1>the podcast. They are a constant partner with me. And
<v Speaker 1>right now and don't bring it up because I'm not ready.
<v Speaker 1>I'll tell you what I'm ready. But right now they're
<v Speaker 1>doing a twenty percent off store wide. Really like code
<v Speaker 1>Nontendo gets you twenty percent off everything.
<v Speaker 2>Let's go.
<v Speaker 1>So if you wanted to go over to gamers Ups
<v Speaker 1>and use code Nintendo for next week, Actually it starts tomorrow. Okay, tomorrow,
<v Speaker 1>I should clarify that it starts tomorrow. I'm gonna find
<v Speaker 1>the graphic for.
<v Speaker 2>It, so like, what is the caffeine and take in that.
<v Speaker 1>You can show my screen now, So these actually are new.
<v Speaker 1>These are creatine and hydration formula. So I've been taking
<v Speaker 1>this before my workout to get hydrated and get creatine.
<v Speaker 1>But they also have energy and then you get twenty
<v Speaker 1>percent off all partner codes. It starts tomorrow and it
<v Speaker 1>goes for a week, So if you do it right now,
<v Speaker 1>you'll get fifteen percent off. If you do it tomorrow,
<v Speaker 1>you'll get twenty percent off. I love Game of Subs
<v Speaker 1>because I used to work with a different brand, and
<v Speaker 1>I tell the story all the time, and I'm gonna
<v Speaker 1>say what the brand is. But they used to have
<v Speaker 1>these giant scoops, these massive schools. I could probably already
<v Speaker 1>guess with the brand, and they were so like, these
<v Speaker 1>ones are bigger because they're the creatine one.
<v Speaker 2>I don't think I brought a normal one.
<v Speaker 1>They have these giant scoops twice the size of these ones,
<v Speaker 1>and you would dump them in and they would taste
<v Speaker 1>thick and chalky, and you know, like when you dump
<v Speaker 1>in like, yeah, they would always do that. When I
<v Speaker 1>joined Game of Subs, they have these teeny tiny little
<v Speaker 1>scoops for their energy and I asked them why their
<v Speaker 1>scoops are so small with the same amount of caffeine,
<v Speaker 1>and they said because the other brands put in a
<v Speaker 1>ton of filler chalk. Oh, and I don't know why
<v Speaker 1>they do that. And also apparently other brands have lead
<v Speaker 1>in them, which one there's lead in them. Gamer Subs
<v Speaker 1>has no lead, which.
<v Speaker 2>Is very nice.
<v Speaker 1>Also, at zero calories you get all your caffeine. You
<v Speaker 1>can also get caffeine free. I don't think any of
<v Speaker 1>those on the screen of caffeine free. Oh yeah, that
<v Speaker 1>BPL one is.
<v Speaker 2>Interesting. Labels I had.
<v Speaker 1>The Dinosaur one is guacamole Gamer Fart, which tastes like lime.
<v Speaker 1>It's very good, but yeah, caffeine if you want to
<v Speaker 1>get the caffeine free. It literally is like making your
<v Speaker 1>water taste nice. Yeah, just hydra hydration. So these they
<v Speaker 1>are just creating hydration. Is that supposed to be like
<v Speaker 1>a bullet, Yeah, this is a bullets make you go
<v Speaker 1>faster in the I've been using the lemon lime, but
<v Speaker 1>these actually have normal flavors.
<v Speaker 2>They're called blue and Lemon lime nice.
<v Speaker 1>So anyway, uh, code nontender you can use that anytime.
<v Speaker 1>It's usually fifteen percent off right now, to be twenty
<v Speaker 1>percent off. If whatever reason it doesn't work, you can
<v Speaker 1>use code beat them ups as well. But code nontender
<v Speaker 1>And uh yeah, I just wanted to give that plug
<v Speaker 1>because we had no sponsor today, so I figured that
<v Speaker 1>would be a good place to do that. W game
<v Speaker 1>W thank you so much.
<v Speaker 2>Gaming.
<v Speaker 1>All right, the main course exclusive might need some game
<v Speaker 1>resups for this, I think I will. I forgot to
<v Speaker 1>bring the energy ones. I only have the creatine. Doesn't
<v Speaker 1>it Creatine give you energy? Not really, I mean for
<v Speaker 1>a workout. It gives you like a little bit of
<v Speaker 1>like like a little bit of pump. Maybe not in
<v Speaker 1>the same way as like a scoop of three hundred
<v Speaker 1>milligrams of raw caffeine stretch bloods.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, yeah, three hundred is od I don't know if
<v Speaker 2>it is three hundred making that up.
<v Speaker 1>Oh man, it's usually a few cups of coffee essentially,
<v Speaker 1>But you can do like it's supposed to be two
<v Speaker 1>scoops of serving. You can do one scoop if you
<v Speaker 1>what I actually do is I have a pre workout,
<v Speaker 1>I do one scoop of that and then one scoop
<v Speaker 1>of the gamersups. For the flavor. Oh, I hate the flavor.
<v Speaker 1>Pre workouts always have horrible flavor. Yeah, it's always like
<v Speaker 1>strawberry Kiwi or and it just tastes like it's so strong.
<v Speaker 1>So I cut it with gamers ups.
<v Speaker 2>All right.
<v Speaker 1>The main topic for the day is Zelder the fortieth.
<v Speaker 1>You know, hey have birthday, forty years of Zelda. We
<v Speaker 1>have nothing to like, there's nothing to show. There's nothing
<v Speaker 1>other than, like, you know, the love for Zelder because
<v Speaker 1>there's nothing happening right now. I just want to have
<v Speaker 1>a discussion and talk about it. I feel like doctor
<v Speaker 1>can go over to begin with. I wanted to talk
<v Speaker 1>about because I want to go into the future as Elder.
<v Speaker 1>But to get a basis, I really want to know
<v Speaker 1>what Zelda means to you guys. Sure, So for example,
<v Speaker 1>Zelder to me, So, Zelder is forty, I'm thirty five, right,
<v Speaker 1>so you would think I grew up with Zelder, but
<v Speaker 1>I didn't get my first Zelder until my Nintendo six. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>and I was a few years late to the sixty four.
<v Speaker 1>I remember I bought it with my pocket money or something.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I got it.
<v Speaker 1>I got it secondhand, and up until that point, i'd
<v Speaker 1>only ever had an NES. My parents brought us a
<v Speaker 1>Super Nintendo, but for whatever reason, we just didn't like it,
<v Speaker 1>Like we just loved we had Donkey Kong Country and
<v Speaker 1>Mega Man X, which arguably are two of the best
<v Speaker 1>games you could get. Yeah, and we were like, now
<v Speaker 1>we'll just keep playing Mario Bros.
<v Speaker 2>Too.
<v Speaker 1>Like we just weren't. Neither of us were vibing with it,
<v Speaker 1>so they actually sold it. Oh, we just kept the
<v Speaker 1>NES until I got the sixty four, and I didn't
<v Speaker 1>have Zelder on that console.
<v Speaker 2>I had games like Mario.
<v Speaker 1>I had games like there was like a sixteen and
<v Speaker 1>one pack with like some random puzzle games and thing
<v Speaker 1>like that. So I got my sixty four and I
<v Speaker 1>remember we went to the store and my mom asked
<v Speaker 1>the guy, what's a good game to get for it,
<v Speaker 1>like for my kid, and he was like, you could
<v Speaker 1>get Zelder. And that's why she got Zelder. And it
<v Speaker 1>was my first time playing a three D game. I
<v Speaker 1>was very much isolated in my bedroom. Kid. Video games
<v Speaker 1>were my escape, and then all of a sudden, out
<v Speaker 1>of nowhere, I had this adventure. I had this brand
<v Speaker 1>adventure and story. Growing up, I loved books. Zelder is
<v Speaker 1>the reason why I don't read books anymore. Growing up,
<v Speaker 1>I loved books, and the books I would read were
<v Speaker 1>like Delta Quest, for example, was one of my favorites,
<v Speaker 1>which was this kid called Leif who ends up getting
<v Speaker 1>this magic belt and going on this quest around the
<v Speaker 1>kingdoms to meet all these people and the world, and
<v Speaker 1>so I loved I had this story in my head
<v Speaker 1>of like these books that I loved growing up, and
<v Speaker 1>then all of a sudden, I was essentially playing Delta Quest.
<v Speaker 1>That's what it was for me. I was like, Oh,
<v Speaker 1>this is like the book that I read, except this
<v Speaker 1>is a video game. And I remember playing it for
<v Speaker 1>weeks and weeks and weeks trying to beat it, and
<v Speaker 1>then thinking that I'd finally beat it, because you know,
<v Speaker 1>you play any s gameslayed like an hour long, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>and I thought I finally beat it, and I was
<v Speaker 1>almost sad about it, but relieved. And then I stuck
<v Speaker 1>the sword into the stone, thinking it was the end
<v Speaker 1>of the game, pulled the sword out whichever way it is,
<v Speaker 1>and then you become adultly and I realized I had
<v Speaker 1>a whole nother game, and it was like another moment
<v Speaker 1>where I was like, like, video games are not what
<v Speaker 1>I thought they were, Like this this is my life now,
<v Speaker 1>this is all that I'm about. So we got Majura's mask.
<v Speaker 1>After that, I got Smash Brothers because I saw Link
<v Speaker 1>was in it. Yeah, and it just like it took
<v Speaker 1>me down this path of becoming an actual video gamer
<v Speaker 1>and dedicating my life.
<v Speaker 2>Nice.
<v Speaker 1>So there's also another like depressing element that I'm not
<v Speaker 1>going to talk too much about, but I you know,
<v Speaker 1>I had depression growing up, and I was struggling with
<v Speaker 1>a lot of things and video games were my escape
<v Speaker 1>and Zella was my escape. So there's a very personal
<v Speaker 1>attachment to that too. Sure what about you guys, wait
<v Speaker 1>real quick before we get into that. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, when you would play, oh it's how old were you?
<v Speaker 1>So I've tried to figure this out. I've tried to
<v Speaker 1>do the math in my brain. When did the sixty
<v Speaker 1>four come out? I think it was ninety six, ninety six,
<v Speaker 1>so I think I probably got it. When did the
<v Speaker 1>GameCube come out two thousand and one, two thousand and
<v Speaker 1>one or two? Yeah, So I got GameCube on launch,
<v Speaker 1>and I know that I'd had my sixty four for
<v Speaker 1>at least two or three years before that, and that's
<v Speaker 1>and I know I didn't have a sixty four on launch,
<v Speaker 1>So I'm thinking I probably got it around ninety nine,
<v Speaker 1>is my guest. So I was probably about nine, Maybe
<v Speaker 1>maybe ten if I misremember, because it's hard to remember
<v Speaker 1>time then, but maybe nine.
<v Speaker 2>So would you read the dialogue and ot? Yeah, yeah
<v Speaker 2>you would. Well again, I love books reader, I was
<v Speaker 2>there to read. I didn't care. So you appreciated the lord?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah? Absolutely, Yeah. I read everything, and I played the
<v Speaker 1>game over and over and over. I read it every time.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. See, when I grew up playing Ocreen of Time,
<v Speaker 2>I skipped through all the dialogue. I mean, you don't
<v Speaker 2>need it, don't you. But when you read it as
<v Speaker 2>an adult, you really do appreciate and you understand the building.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>And it's also like you realize that this game wasn't
<v Speaker 2>necessarily just meant for kids, because like even the language
<v Speaker 2>they use, it's like a five year old's not going
<v Speaker 2>to understand.
<v Speaker 1>Like I think reading it too is what made me
<v Speaker 1>so at because again, it was like I remember the
<v Speaker 1>feeling of starting in that little area, that little town,
<v Speaker 1>and I felt like I was that kid in that
<v Speaker 1>little town. And then being told we need you to
<v Speaker 1>travel across high Roll and go save the princess. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>and like knowing what the story was and knowing what
<v Speaker 1>my mission was, it was a level of excitement I've
<v Speaker 1>never felt in a video game ever. Again, Yeah, I've
<v Speaker 1>been chasing that high my whole life. I've maybe had
<v Speaker 1>it close a couple of times.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, you didn't feel that playing like Breath of the
<v Speaker 2>Beater The Wild.
<v Speaker 1>Was the closest. It definitely took me back to my childhood.
<v Speaker 1>And Red Dead Redemption was another one. Actually, yeah, really cool.
<v Speaker 1>I had a very similar feeling play in that game too.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, I agree with you. I feel
<v Speaker 2>like Zelda does have that ability to captivate the person
<v Speaker 2>and to kind of like, you know, put them in
<v Speaker 2>a trance when they're playing the game, something that Mario
<v Speaker 2>necessarily didn't do for me. But I mean, I obviously
<v Speaker 2>still love Mario games, but yeah, Zelda, like first game
<v Speaker 2>I ever played was OK gre enough time as well
<v Speaker 2>as like a five year old, but they didn't really
<v Speaker 2>understand like the story. I just knew, like your link
<v Speaker 2>you have to save the Princess. And I had brothers
<v Speaker 2>also that would play it as well, so we would
<v Speaker 2>just kind of learn from each other. None of us
<v Speaker 2>were reading the dialogue. We were just like we were
<v Speaker 2>all interpretating it in our own way, you know, like, oh,
<v Speaker 2>we think this and that, and it was like really fun.
<v Speaker 2>And you know, I remember when Majoria's Mask came out,
<v Speaker 2>it was like super cool because it did feel like
<v Speaker 2>a direct equal. And you know, I remember my biggest
<v Speaker 2>issue with it was like, how come adult link is
<v Speaker 2>in the game? But that's interesting? Yeah, but I was like,
<v Speaker 2>but I love the game, but like I obviously preferred
<v Speaker 2>ocreat of Time more because of adult Link, you know.
<v Speaker 1>And I thought, I think for me, because I was
<v Speaker 1>a kid, I identified with the kid. But yeah, so
<v Speaker 1>I didn't mind not having the adult. I think it's
<v Speaker 1>because I was a kid, I wanted to be an adult.
<v Speaker 1>So I can't wait to be an adult and I
<v Speaker 1>have to live with my parents, you know, I.
<v Speaker 2>Get a sword in a shield.
<v Speaker 1>What did you think of the time mechanic in Majority's
<v Speaker 1>Mask when you were a kid.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, it was terrifying, Like I thought I would you
<v Speaker 2>get anxiety, like when I'd be like playing through a
<v Speaker 2>dungeon or like you know, doing side quests, and I
<v Speaker 2>feel like, oh my god, I'm running out of time
<v Speaker 2>because you see the days going by, so you obviously
<v Speaker 2>play the song of slowing down time and then you'd
<v Speaker 2>have to like rewind, and you know, I'd see my
<v Speaker 2>brothers they would like try to beat certain temples without
<v Speaker 2>like having to rewind time, and I'd always, like, you know,
<v Speaker 2>learn from them, but like something. My older brother, for example,
<v Speaker 2>he likes Majority's Mask more than Ocreen of Time. My
<v Speaker 2>younger brother likes Ocreen of Time just like me, more
<v Speaker 2>than Majority of Mask. Okay, you know, but they're both
<v Speaker 2>like beloved games. I remember when wind Waker came out too.
<v Speaker 2>Both my brothers hated it because the graphics were completely
<v Speaker 2>different from like the first to three d's Elda games.
<v Speaker 2>But I was completely all for it. I love that
<v Speaker 2>tune is cartoony. Yeah, I didn't think twice about that.
<v Speaker 1>I was just like, oh, this is what Zelda looks
<v Speaker 1>like now, yeah, And I loved that any Zelda could
<v Speaker 1>be completely different, exactly exactly. I understood it was a
<v Speaker 1>different link every time being reborn, so I loved it,
<v Speaker 1>like oh this time where like like a multivus. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>this time he's reborn in a cartoon exactly. I think
<v Speaker 1>it was great.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, And I've actually I've been watching this one guy
<v Speaker 2>on YouTube named Zeltech. He does like amazing lores all
<v Speaker 2>the videos. So I started like looking into the the
<v Speaker 2>chronological order of like the Zelda titles, and it's super interesting.
<v Speaker 2>It's interesting Nintend to have their own like way of
<v Speaker 2>describing the timelines, and then they kind of leave a
<v Speaker 2>lot of gaps in between.
<v Speaker 1>And I don't think Nintendo really knows. I think they
<v Speaker 1>they fell into the whole of They were just like
<v Speaker 1>rebooting it, rebooting and rebooting it and yeah, and then
<v Speaker 1>they had to like piece things together. They had to
<v Speaker 1>be pieced it together. But I don't think there was
<v Speaker 1>a grand plan from that exactly. It wasn't and you
<v Speaker 1>could tell that.
<v Speaker 2>And that's why like even like you because you have
<v Speaker 2>like the two timelines that split off after operon of time,
<v Speaker 2>which is like essentially like the main uh like story
<v Speaker 2>that creates all these different timelines, and then you have
<v Speaker 2>like the fall and timeline where the or the hero
<v Speaker 2>gets defeated, you know, which is something that they had
<v Speaker 2>to create in order to fit the other Zell the
<v Speaker 2>titles that yeah, and I just thought it was really cool.
<v Speaker 2>It would be nice to see Nintendo like really like
<v Speaker 2>work it out and like give us a definitive chronological thing.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, they did like put that foot down and
<v Speaker 1>be like this they try, and I think people would
<v Speaker 1>be like, oh, but what about this, this and this?
<v Speaker 2>Exactly that's the problem. And that's why I think somebody
<v Speaker 2>I don't remember exactly who, but I was reading a
<v Speaker 2>quote they were saying that they left it kind of
<v Speaker 2>open for interpretation for people to just kind of fill
<v Speaker 2>in the gaps themselves. That makes makes it more fun too,
<v Speaker 2>exactly makes it more fun. So you kind of got
<v Speaker 2>to decide. But then it also leaves those who are
<v Speaker 2>like Zeld enthusiasts and serious about it, like will yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I want the definitive answer, but I mean forty years man,
<v Speaker 2>it's crazy.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I had a couple of random thoughts while
<v Speaker 1>you were talking and then I want to get to you.
<v Speaker 1>Unit one was with the wind Waker thing, Like, I
<v Speaker 1>know it's always been so controversial with the visual style,
<v Speaker 1>but can you imagine if they had done it gritty
<v Speaker 1>like back then, like whatever like made it look as
<v Speaker 1>good as they can, and obviously it would have aged,
<v Speaker 1>however it aged when you look back at Zelda, they
<v Speaker 1>would have kind of not look the same, but they
<v Speaker 1>would have been a lot like very similar, right arena
<v Speaker 1>whatever they would have done instead of win Waker yea,
<v Speaker 1>then the Twilight Princess. I really love that there's such
<v Speaker 1>a different one in the middle that, Yeah, just so
<v Speaker 1>much personality in the middle of the other gritty ones.
<v Speaker 2>And imagine how many kids grew up playing wind Wakers
<v Speaker 2>their first all the games and fall in love with
<v Speaker 2>like falling in love with tune.
<v Speaker 1>That art style too, led to them being able to
<v Speaker 1>push more out of the performance and essentially giving us
<v Speaker 1>one of the first really great open world games.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, like with the sea and everything, that was like
<v Speaker 2>a huge deal, you know.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, like people like mixed feelings on it, but
<v Speaker 1>I just loved that it felt all connected yet.
<v Speaker 2>Exactly well yes, no, I agree with you. I remember
<v Speaker 2>playing that for the first time and I was like
<v Speaker 2>overwhelmed by like the vastness of it, how large it is, Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>and like being able to travel and you could tell
<v Speaker 2>like it took inspiration from our green of time like
<v Speaker 2>you know, with the the musical and yes again, and
<v Speaker 2>then like being able to play like the some some
<v Speaker 2>of the notes, and then the fast traveling. It was
<v Speaker 2>really really sick.
<v Speaker 1>The other thing I poured out of what you said
<v Speaker 1>was there's a slight tangent. But I went to Starbucks
<v Speaker 1>the other day and someone recognized me and they were
<v Speaker 1>telling the girl that they worked with who I was,
<v Speaker 1>and she was like, oh, do you like Zelda? And
<v Speaker 1>I was like yeah, and it's like, oh, I just
<v Speaker 1>played one for the first time. I didn't really like it.
<v Speaker 1>And I was like, what one was it? And she
<v Speaker 1>was like it was on three DS and like the
<v Speaker 1>time it had this time thing, and I was like yeah,
<v Speaker 1>And I was like, oh, you gotta try playing any
<v Speaker 1>other Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Those.
<v Speaker 1>It's interesting now because now when like an adult picks
<v Speaker 1>it up in place, anyone tries to play it, now,
<v Speaker 1>it's annoying, right like it's but as you said, when
<v Speaker 1>we were kids, it was a threat and it felt
<v Speaker 1>so real. It wasn't like this annoying mechanic, at least
<v Speaker 1>for me, and I guess maybe for you. From what
<v Speaker 1>I heard, it wasn't this annoying, repetitive mechanic, and I
<v Speaker 1>wasn't thinking about it like, oh, this gameplay mechanic sucks.
<v Speaker 1>I legitimately was in the world and I was like,
<v Speaker 1>the freaking moon is crashing and it's going to kill
<v Speaker 1>me and I need to do whatever I can to
<v Speaker 1>stop it. And it was like, it was so cool
<v Speaker 1>the first time you do it. It's one of the
<v Speaker 1>coolest things. It's annoying now to go back and do it,
<v Speaker 1>but to commit to it from a gameplay mechanics standpoint
<v Speaker 1>at the time, I can't really think of too many
<v Speaker 1>other experiences I've had in video games that will like that,
<v Speaker 1>especially back then.
<v Speaker 2>For sure, I don't think it's annoying today. I still
<v Speaker 2>find it like one of the best games. I like it,
<v Speaker 2>I appreciate it all. I like it, But I also
<v Speaker 2>know I know to expect it, and I know what
<v Speaker 2>to do. I think if you were starting with it, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it would probably annoy the piss out of me, especially
<v Speaker 2>if I wasn't already a fan. Yeah, yeah, exactly.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, night, So before well, before I get to mind,
<v Speaker 1>I think to your point about like Nintendo maybe like
<v Speaker 1>finally putting their foot down and saying, like what the
<v Speaker 1>Zelda timeline is I think we might see a version
<v Speaker 1>of that with the Zelda movie, the live action because
<v Speaker 1>from what I've seen for like I know Mario and
<v Speaker 1>how obviously it's animation, like yeah, but they put their
<v Speaker 1>heart and soul into making sure that like there's you know,
<v Speaker 1>references to games and to like other Mario elements. I
<v Speaker 1>feel like for Zelda especially and now it being live action,
<v Speaker 1>like I feel like they are going to do their
<v Speaker 1>absolute best of like convey an actual thorough story as
<v Speaker 1>well as like trying to incorporate all, like everything you
<v Speaker 1>know about Zelda.
<v Speaker 2>But like, do we know that the movie is going
<v Speaker 2>to be cann into the games or might I don't know,
<v Speaker 2>That's what I'm saying.
<v Speaker 1>The theory has always been a Karina because I feel
<v Speaker 1>like it's just like it's war and it's always it's
<v Speaker 1>kind of like not really, but I know it's kind
<v Speaker 1>of like how ma like Super Mario, the first one
<v Speaker 1>kind of established Mario. Princess Bowser saying, right, I feel
<v Speaker 1>like a Karina was really the first one that established
<v Speaker 1>giant world adventure links like this kid Comes a Hero,
<v Speaker 1>Princess Gandendorf Save, and I think that really established this
<v Speaker 1>is a Zelda game. How can we twist it from here?
<v Speaker 1>How can we make it different? Right?
<v Speaker 2>We never?
<v Speaker 1>And I think that's just like the key, like what
<v Speaker 1>they'll do. I think that's the story in my opinion. No,
<v Speaker 1>I agree, So that's for the movie. So for me, obviously,
<v Speaker 1>despite how I look, I am younger than these guys.
<v Speaker 1>But that all you look, all right, it's just you know,
<v Speaker 1>it's just funny that you're not. I know that's true.
<v Speaker 1>You say our age and we're like ten years old,
<v Speaker 1>all right.
<v Speaker 2>All right?
<v Speaker 1>But so for someone who I've already talked about, like
<v Speaker 1>my games I've played before and as a young kid,
<v Speaker 1>like I never played Zelda, so Zelda my first Like
<v Speaker 1>I've played some of the three DS ones. I played
<v Speaker 1>uh aqerat of Time on three D, I played uh
<v Speaker 1>I did like the cool little anniversary edition of four
<v Speaker 1>Swords that goes on Nintendo three DS as well. But
<v Speaker 1>my first actual zeld game that I fully beat was
<v Speaker 1>Breath of the Wild. Okay, so that's a great one. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that and that, like do you're talking? You would have
<v Speaker 1>been how old are you now? I'm twenty three, so
<v Speaker 1>I would have been fifteen. Yeah, I was, well, like it.
<v Speaker 1>I thought about that when that game came out, like
<v Speaker 1>if that was me when I played All Karina the
<v Speaker 1>Age that now and you went too far away from No,
<v Speaker 1>but like even then, like uh, because I've I mean,
<v Speaker 1>Mario has like always been like the game I go
<v Speaker 1>to and I played Smash before, so I knew of Lincoln,
<v Speaker 1>Zelda and Ganador from all that, but to actually like
<v Speaker 1>play it and sit down for the first time because
<v Speaker 1>that was the So I waited at like my local
<v Speaker 1>best Buy, I like wait till midnight the whole thing,
<v Speaker 1>you know, got the game convinced my like, hey, like
<v Speaker 1>can we grab like the Master Edition because I wanted
<v Speaker 1>and they were sold out, so because I only had
<v Speaker 1>three of them, and they're like, did you ever get it?
<v Speaker 2>No?
<v Speaker 1>I wish I did, but so I got just the
<v Speaker 1>regular game. So I went home. This is like around
<v Speaker 1>like one in the morning. I had school the next day,
<v Speaker 1>and I was like, you know what, like I'm just
<v Speaker 1>gonna pop it in and just play it. And despite what
<v Speaker 1>people may say, because I have a lot of friends
<v Speaker 1>that are also like really big Zelda fans, like they
<v Speaker 1>know like their lore, they know that the gameplay. They
<v Speaker 1>could tell you all like the secret STIPs and tricks
<v Speaker 1>whatever and to kind of here. They all have a
<v Speaker 1>lot of mixed opinions about Breath of the Wild, especially
<v Speaker 1>when it comes to like the music and how they're
<v Speaker 1>saying like oh, always yeah, so music is phenomenal, yes,
<v Speaker 1>but like they're saying, like, oh, it needs to be
<v Speaker 1>like a constant theme, like you need to have something No, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I know you know, and I know we all know,
<v Speaker 1>but I need to say it then missing the whole
<v Speaker 1>point exactly exactly. It's it. It plays with the player exactly.
<v Speaker 1>It's the experimental nature and there's no one way anything,
<v Speaker 1>even in the music. I agree, it's so clever and
<v Speaker 1>so like I think you said too when it like
<v Speaker 1>you feel like those moments like in gaming, if you're
<v Speaker 1>playing and like you suddenly feel like wow, like this
<v Speaker 1>is it. I think it's for a lot of people
<v Speaker 1>as well. But like that moment where like Link walks
<v Speaker 1>out of the uh oh what's it called the uh
<v Speaker 1>the shrine of shrine? Yeah, yeah, trying to resurroaction. He
<v Speaker 1>walks out and like you see like the whole world
<v Speaker 1>and just like wow, that and that moment has been
<v Speaker 1>replicated in so oh my god. Yes, it happens all
<v Speaker 1>the time. I literally was playing the Months to Hunter
<v Speaker 1>a demo. You played it too, right, they kind of
<v Speaker 1>run out, yeah, and then they go into where they
<v Speaker 1>jump over it's the same thing everyone's yeah, but like
<v Speaker 1>in that moment too, just like this like is something
<v Speaker 1>way different. And I remember just like playing through it
<v Speaker 1>and you know, knowing something about Zelda that I did,
<v Speaker 1>and like kind of like, oh I could pick I
<v Speaker 1>could pick that up, like and like when you're your
<v Speaker 1>horse and you hear like the little kind of like
<v Speaker 1>riding theme or it just sorry like main theme like
<v Speaker 1>a little bit, and it's just like the little instrumental
<v Speaker 1>like kind of touches that they throw in there, like
<v Speaker 1>but still with the nature sounds. It really kind of
<v Speaker 1>just feels like, you know, it's your game. Go wherever
<v Speaker 1>you want. You can go there if you really want to. Ye,
<v Speaker 1>there's no like set path you can take. You can
<v Speaker 1>just do whatever you want. So that like really stuck
<v Speaker 1>with me when it came to Zelda. So since then,
<v Speaker 1>I still haven't really played a lot of the games.
<v Speaker 1>I really do want to, it's just that like I
<v Speaker 1>just I don't think anything else can kind of replicate
<v Speaker 1>that and as far as being like, it's so funny
<v Speaker 1>because that's what I thought about all Karina. Yeah, and
<v Speaker 1>so that's the point, Like I could go back and
<v Speaker 1>play Akarina or of the Kingdom or I did you did? Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>well mixed whatever about that it was. It was still good.
<v Speaker 1>I had a good time with it. Yeah, but like
<v Speaker 1>to try to go back, I think it's kind of
<v Speaker 1>the same thing, not to bring a Pokemon again, but
<v Speaker 1>kind of related to Pokemon, Like if you don't I
<v Speaker 1>feel like some games if you don't play them, or
<v Speaker 1>even just a lot of stuff in life, if you
<v Speaker 1>don't start it while you're young, I feel like it's
<v Speaker 1>a little bit harder to get into it delinitely, especially
<v Speaker 1>like you know, Okerina of Time, it being such a
<v Speaker 1>game where yeah, like it's not linear, but there's still like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>you got to go here first then here, Like.
<v Speaker 2>It is pretty linear.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'm saying like in terms of like it's not
<v Speaker 1>just it's three DS, so like the option to kind
<v Speaker 1>of explore the area instead of just skipping all understand
<v Speaker 1>nostalgia changes everything. Like I've recently fallen in love with
<v Speaker 1>Dragon Quest, and I do really like it and like
<v Speaker 1>Drunk Quest eleven feels very like Zeldory to me in
<v Speaker 1>the adventure scope. But I can imagine if I grow
<v Speaker 1>up playing that series then got to Dragon Quest eleven,
<v Speaker 1>like it just hits different. Yes, it's like like Kim
<v Speaker 1>sometimes bakes fresh cookies and it's awesome. I never had
<v Speaker 1>that growing up, but it's awesome now. But I imagine
<v Speaker 1>if like my mum baked fresh cookies all the time
<v Speaker 1>when I was young, it would hit like like this
<v Speaker 1>is like how mum used to do.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, you know, it's the same thing. I think. Yeah, No,
<v Speaker 2>that's very fu That's what a lot of people say
<v Speaker 2>about like Dragon Ball Z. They say it's like objectively
<v Speaker 2>a garbage anime, But those who hype it up it's
<v Speaker 2>didn't watch it. I could see that point. I get
<v Speaker 2>understanding from the beginning there's.
<v Speaker 1>A reason why they made Kai.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, but I mean I disagree, Like it's definitely the
<v Speaker 2>nostalgics being Dragon ball Z is the goaded.
<v Speaker 1>I know, I can't watch Kai because it cuts out
<v Speaker 1>so much on the build up, but then also eat
<v Speaker 1>those dragged out moments.
<v Speaker 2>No, the dragonat moments can be a lot. I own
<v Speaker 2>it all on Blu Ray and my brother and I,
<v Speaker 2>like when we were in Arizona, we would watch it
<v Speaker 2>like every year or twice a year. Like the whole
<v Speaker 2>thing start to finish.
<v Speaker 1>From trying to collect those old DVDs back in the
<v Speaker 1>day was such a pain. Ye hundreds of them and
<v Speaker 1>they were so expensive.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, but now you can buy the Blu Ray collection.
<v Speaker 2>It's like the we should, we should get back to Zelda.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, I a b But that's that's a great
<v Speaker 1>point because again, like that's the nostalgia that really builds
<v Speaker 1>up on you the more you play like this' or
<v Speaker 1>watch something in the series that you love, especially when
<v Speaker 1>you start for some young age. So I do have
<v Speaker 1>like I do most like respect for Zelda.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I really a pretty big gun back and played any
<v Speaker 1>other ones you try, Sky would sholder anything. I have
<v Speaker 1>skywarts or for the Wii. It's not Rush. Yeah, I've
<v Speaker 1>never have. I didn't want to get the news. A
<v Speaker 1>lot of people call that the Mario Sunshine of really
<v Speaker 1>because of the emotion controls and all, because it's not
<v Speaker 1>great and Mario Sunshine well, but mar Sushon is not bad.
<v Speaker 1>But you know how people don't really like it. But
<v Speaker 1>it is like split opinion, you'll either go as sixty
<v Speaker 1>four or yeah, Skyward Swords the same. Yeah, it's very
<v Speaker 1>but even more so, I think more people don't like
<v Speaker 1>it than do like it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah for sure.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but yeah, but sorry, getting back to Zelda too,
<v Speaker 1>Like I think, you know, there are games I do
<v Speaker 1>want to go back and play, especially Twilt Princess I
<v Speaker 1>know is one that I will actually well if we
<v Speaker 1>get a HD of that, I was going to say, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that'd be the time to play it. And I know,
<v Speaker 1>like we kind of are talking about this now because
<v Speaker 1>it is Zelda's forty if then you know, Nintendo themselves
<v Speaker 1>haven't really acknowledged it per se like they have. I'm
<v Speaker 1>hoping that they don't because I don't want them to
<v Speaker 1>date this episode. At the same time, I'm hoping that
<v Speaker 1>they actually do. Yeah, oh no, for sure. So I
<v Speaker 1>mean it would be cool to see a Twiler Princess remake.
<v Speaker 2>I know.
<v Speaker 1>Another one was like Skywards Swords are out and Switch,
<v Speaker 1>but like you could do a bundle of that. Maybe
<v Speaker 1>we already have Winwaker on nso for GameCube. That's like
<v Speaker 1>a nice little kind of you want, Yeah, but it's
<v Speaker 1>not the HD one. Yeah, and the HD one like
<v Speaker 1>it actually made some changes to certain dungeons and like stream,
<v Speaker 1>like a little bit, not anything too noticeable, But the
<v Speaker 1>HD was really nice.
<v Speaker 2>It just looks good to give him WEU. I think. Also,
<v Speaker 2>Toilet Princess came out on the Wii. Right, there was
<v Speaker 2>a Wei one. Yes, I already know that we was
<v Speaker 2>the HD one.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but Princess was Cube and Wi Yeah, so the
<v Speaker 1>Wei was essentially just mirrored.
<v Speaker 2>It was the same game.
<v Speaker 1>But actually, you want to know a fun fact that
<v Speaker 1>everybody knows, but I'm going to tell you anyway, go ahead.
<v Speaker 1>Link was always left handed, which I loved because I'm
<v Speaker 1>left handed. I related to Link another level because of that,
<v Speaker 1>he's right handed now. The reason why he's right handed
<v Speaker 1>now is because they flipped the WI one, which made
<v Speaker 1>him right handed. So now they've bought No but and
<v Speaker 1>the other games he would hold it in the right hand.
<v Speaker 1>That's that's why they flipped it. Because you know on
<v Speaker 1>the Wi how you use motion controls. Most people are
<v Speaker 1>right handed, so the GameCube one he was left handed,
<v Speaker 1>right but but the Wei one, because they knew most
<v Speaker 1>people couldn't, they'd be having to play with their left
<v Speaker 1>hand with they Nott left handed. Yeah, they mirrored the
<v Speaker 1>whole game so that you could use your right hand,
<v Speaker 1>and since then he's been right handed and everything.
<v Speaker 2>But don't they let you am I like, but like
<v Speaker 2>they let you change it, right, and not that I
<v Speaker 2>want to Zelda games in what I feel like, I
<v Speaker 2>remember at least Crossbow Trainer or something.
<v Speaker 1>Well, I didn't play that. That hasn't been motion controls.
<v Speaker 1>After that one, he's just got it's gone back to
<v Speaker 1>normal and he's just right. I guess he was right
<v Speaker 1>handed as well. Maybe that although let you change. I'm
<v Speaker 1>pretty sure there was a game that la Chat will
<v Speaker 1>let me know, but all I know is he's supposed
<v Speaker 1>to be left handed and the right handed. So there
<v Speaker 1>actually was one more thing I wanted to mention for
<v Speaker 1>Zelda's So for me specifically, it's not related to the game,
<v Speaker 1>but I remember I'm trying to remember if this was
<v Speaker 1>the thirty fifth or the thirtieth anniversary for it, but
<v Speaker 1>they did that whole like Symphony of the Goddess's Tour,
<v Speaker 1>like the live orchestra performances.
<v Speaker 2>They did that multiple times.
<v Speaker 1>They did that multiple The first time was thirty it
<v Speaker 1>was the more recent one, I think I was like,
<v Speaker 1>right after the switched, I went that, so I went
<v Speaker 1>to that it was in field the music they did,
<v Speaker 1>So that's okay. So another going back to now that
<v Speaker 1>I remember this, so yes, well, I didn't play a
<v Speaker 1>lot of the games, like seeing some of like the
<v Speaker 1>more iconic songs being like played with a live orchestra.
<v Speaker 1>It was so cool because like for one of my
<v Speaker 1>favorite themes too, obviously is oh, oh man, what is it?
<v Speaker 1>Is it Zelda's theme or no, I forget the name.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sorry, guys, it's yeah, it's those icons.
<v Speaker 2>The one with the heart.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, it was the Skyward Sword. Oh great Ferry Fountain,
<v Speaker 1>I think from Skyward Stord. But they there was one
<v Speaker 1>the verse they play like it was like this woman
<v Speaker 1>was playing on a harp and like every time she
<v Speaker 1>would pluck the strings, there would be another harp that
<v Speaker 1>would like play right after, and it's like this beautiful
<v Speaker 1>duet of just like strings and then like the orchestra
<v Speaker 1>would come in. It was just so cool, so that
<v Speaker 1>I do remember that. That was like a one of
<v Speaker 1>like the most memorable like Zelda things I could think
<v Speaker 1>of besides the game. It was and I had the
<v Speaker 1>soundtrack at the soundtrack that came with Skywardsword on the Wii.
<v Speaker 2>I think I just put it like a CD player.
<v Speaker 1>Which game is it from Skyward Sword? I think because
<v Speaker 1>the orchestra is that there's an all Carina one. I
<v Speaker 1>just wanted to hear it a fairy Fountain theme orchestra. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I think it's I don't want to get claimed, so
<v Speaker 1>we can do that is the one Ballad of the
<v Speaker 1>Goddess that the Gods is a great song too. Can
<v Speaker 1>you try to turn it up? I can't hear it.
<v Speaker 1>Do I have to be screen sharing to hear it? Okay,
<v Speaker 1>so this isn't the one I saw, but this is like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>this isn't the one you no, no, no, but this is
<v Speaker 1>like the this is what they performed. This is the song.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, oh okay, it's beautiful. It is that the little
<v Speaker 2>chimes that makes me want to And then.
<v Speaker 1>They had a choir there too, so the choir was
<v Speaker 1>singing like, oh yeah, I bet, I bet in person
<v Speaker 1>that would give chills.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah it was INCREDI yeah, it was incredible in person.
<v Speaker 1>I want to go take me next.
<v Speaker 2>I don't even remember how I went.
<v Speaker 1>If they do it again, that I kind of was
<v Speaker 1>hoping they would, but like, you know, maybe not. I
<v Speaker 1>just think that's just like a relic of the past
<v Speaker 1>that like was That's like one of the for me Zelda.
<v Speaker 1>One of the things that stands out with Zelda is
<v Speaker 1>the music and game Like the music is. I love
<v Speaker 1>that you're talking about it because I have notes for
<v Speaker 1>what to talk about today and music was one. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>and we were already pretty much covered. One of the
<v Speaker 1>things that pinged out of what you said a little
<v Speaker 1>tangent when I when you were talking is the open
<v Speaker 1>worldness of go here and do anything and blah blah
<v Speaker 1>blah that I don't know if you know because you're
<v Speaker 1>so young.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, thank you.
<v Speaker 1>That was very much. I don't want to say groundbreaking.
<v Speaker 1>Would you say groundbreaking, Sully, that that that feeling of
<v Speaker 1>a big open world in Breath of the Wild, we
<v Speaker 1>could go anywhere off the rig, I would definitely say so,
<v Speaker 1>I would say groundbreaking. Then, So that went on to
<v Speaker 1>inspire I mean, we've seen Breath of the Wild inspiring
<v Speaker 1>so many things. Yeah, but that gameplay mechanic in particular
<v Speaker 1>went on to inspire a game that one game of
<v Speaker 1>the Year the year that it released, and it's one
<v Speaker 1>of the most popular games of all time?
<v Speaker 2>Right now?
<v Speaker 1>Do you know what that game is?
<v Speaker 2>Most popular games of all time?
<v Speaker 1>An open world kind of an open world game where
<v Speaker 1>you can go anywhere in any order and do anything
<v Speaker 1>you want. It's got like one hundred out of one hundred.
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to kick myself when I remember this or
<v Speaker 1>I don't remember it.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't win in one Game of the year.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, in almost won Game of the Year twice in
<v Speaker 1>a row. WHOA Okay, because it released a giant DLC
<v Speaker 1>the next year that got considered for Game of the year.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Frum Soft obviously, I know a lot of people know this,
<v Speaker 1>but historically obviously made very linear style dark souls games.
<v Speaker 1>Elden Ring, this giant open world version where could go
<v Speaker 1>anywhere at any point. It was because of Breath of
<v Speaker 1>the Wild. They were sadspired that they made elden Ring
<v Speaker 1>so Breath of the World also, I mean I talk
<v Speaker 1>about it a lot, but it inspired Gensen Impact, which
<v Speaker 1>is a huge game. The creators of that game said directly,
<v Speaker 1>which is why I always thought it was so weird
<v Speaker 1>that it never came to Switch, because it exists purely
<v Speaker 1>because of Switch and Zelda. I mean, and we talked
<v Speaker 1>about all the times that that opening animation has been
<v Speaker 1>used in videos any other games. It's it's one of
<v Speaker 1>those games that, like you can find games that are
<v Speaker 1>so obviously Breath of the World inspired in in one gameplay,
<v Speaker 1>mechanical or many, but it's one of those games that
<v Speaker 1>like will go on to inspire so many games just
<v Speaker 1>based on like developers who play that game and they're like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I'm getting into making the Pokemon.
<v Speaker 2>Legends felt like it was definitely inspired by Breath of
<v Speaker 2>the Wild.
<v Speaker 1>Well, I'm saying, like there are people that play that
<v Speaker 1>game and they're like, I'm going to make a video
<v Speaker 1>game because of this game, and they might go on
<v Speaker 1>to make something like Binding of Isaac, you know, or
<v Speaker 1>something random I think of, like you know, and you'll
<v Speaker 1>never know that that game exists because of Breath of
<v Speaker 1>the Wild. Yeah, I'm thinking more so like also like
<v Speaker 1>Undertail being inspired by Earthbound and like you know what,
<v Speaker 1>it's what it's also like and it's a little dark,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm sorry for it in advance. I'm just going
<v Speaker 1>to say it. It's kind of like how we have
<v Speaker 1>the Twilight series because of nine to eleven really really Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>this is so random, I know, but so so during
<v Speaker 1>this sorry, my chemical romance, the band. The lead singer
<v Speaker 1>of that band sorry Kim's gonna kill me that I
<v Speaker 1>forgot his name. He was inspired, I guess is a
<v Speaker 1>word you could use while watching nine to eleven to
<v Speaker 1>be like I need to do something about this. And
<v Speaker 1>he made my chemical romance essentially, like that's why that
<v Speaker 1>band started. The writer of Twilight was Mormon, and the
<v Speaker 1>thing that like growing up kind of broke her out
<v Speaker 1>of it and made her like realize she didn't really
<v Speaker 1>want to be stuck in That was the band, my
<v Speaker 1>chemical romance. So she got in my chemical romance and
<v Speaker 1>ended up leaving the Mormons and ended up getting inspired
<v Speaker 1>to write Twilight. Wow. Yeah, Twilight because of eleven and
<v Speaker 1>who knows what we have because of Breath of the Wild.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah yeah, who knows what? It's my point that I
<v Speaker 1>wasn't making wow. Yeah okay, yeah that's awesome. I did
<v Speaker 1>not know that. Yeah, sorry about that. Okay, So that's
<v Speaker 1>all of our history was Zelda, which is great past.
<v Speaker 1>I love that we've given that out and I love
<v Speaker 1>to hear it as someone who I mean, Zelda is
<v Speaker 1>the whole reason that I'm here, so I always love
<v Speaker 1>to hear other people's respectors. Was outa and yours being
<v Speaker 1>someone that started a Breath of the Wild, and yours
<v Speaker 1>being someone that started the same place I started.
<v Speaker 2>That's really I feel like any nineties child would have
<v Speaker 2>started with ot sor I want.
<v Speaker 1>To talk about the future. One last thing before we
<v Speaker 1>do that. Last night, actually I saw on Twitter. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not going to find it, I'm going to tell you it.
<v Speaker 1>There was a there was a something going around, one
<v Speaker 1>of those like memes that go around, and this one
<v Speaker 1>was delete one.
<v Speaker 2>Oh I saw might have.
<v Speaker 1>It was pretty viral. The warting options they were Okarina
<v Speaker 1>Twilight and I Break of the Wild, no wind Wakers.
<v Speaker 1>I would delete Scout Sword, and it was delete one.
<v Speaker 1>What would you delete Scourge Sword? I feel like it's
<v Speaker 1>the obvious end. I was going to reply and be
<v Speaker 1>kind of snarky and be like, well, I would delete
<v Speaker 1>Ocarina because we'd still have a Karina three D.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. So many people's a, you know, it's crazy what
<v Speaker 2>we're doing.
<v Speaker 1>The rage bad people love to do the rage, babe,
<v Speaker 1>and be like, I would delete the best one, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you know. And then also the Breath of the wid
<v Speaker 1>people would be like easy, Breath of the Wild. It's like, yeah, sure,
<v Speaker 1>the one that sold like more than any other game,
<v Speaker 1>and this is spied out and ring agains impacted nine
<v Speaker 1>to eleven. Sure no, yeah, yeah, I think the obvious
<v Speaker 1>answer is sky would So you haven't played it, no,
<v Speaker 1>but like probably makes it easy for you anyway. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I was just saying, just like stylistically, just as someone
<v Speaker 1>who like sees like we talked about the different styles
<v Speaker 1>of each of these games. I feel like because I remember,
<v Speaker 1>like at least correct me I'm wrong, because you guys
<v Speaker 1>would know, like when Twiler Princess came out and then
<v Speaker 1>they switched over to Skyward, They're like, wait a second,
<v Speaker 1>we thought Link was edgy. Now we thought like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>we thought, like, you know, the the dark grittiness feel
<v Speaker 1>and how like Zelda and Gannandorf look. Because I know
<v Speaker 1>that that Ganandorf design was used in like and Smash
<v Speaker 1>for so long. Yeah, it was like that was like
<v Speaker 1>the design for Ganadorf and that still is like for
<v Speaker 1>I think for other people who kind of playing it,
<v Speaker 1>although I will say the Tiers of the Kingdom Gannondor, Yes.
<v Speaker 2>He's definitely the best looking one.
<v Speaker 1>That's honestly I think I think Skyrid Sword did shock
<v Speaker 1>people in that way, but I think it also finally
<v Speaker 1>established that you never know what to expect, which is
<v Speaker 1>what I love about Zelder, that you never know what
<v Speaker 1>to expect for a lare I know that's a pivotal game, like,
<v Speaker 1>ah yeah, because cannon Ley and I it's the first,
<v Speaker 1>the first one.
<v Speaker 2>It's the first one because the same year they released
<v Speaker 2>Skywards Sword, I believe they released the Zelda Historia, which the.
<v Speaker 1>History of I'm going to forget it now. I went
<v Speaker 1>on this tangent on the podcast, but when when Tears
<v Speaker 1>of the Kingdom came out and Age of or Yeah
<v Speaker 1>tis the Kingdom came out, I had this whole theory
<v Speaker 1>that I think wasn't wasn't It was something that people
<v Speaker 1>echoed online where it's a loop essentially, it's a cycle.
<v Speaker 1>So Skywards Sword is the first Zelder in the storyline
<v Speaker 1>and Cannony from Nintendo, But what they talk about in
<v Speaker 1>that Zeuder, the story of that Zeuda is that the
<v Speaker 1>land below got flooded and so they had to go
<v Speaker 1>up into the sky and it was like so long ago,
<v Speaker 1>so ancient ago that people like forgot what it was
<v Speaker 1>like on the ground, which is why Link is then
<v Speaker 1>going to the ground for the first time. And I
<v Speaker 1>think I can't remember the theory exactly, but you know
<v Speaker 1>in Tears of the Kingdom, how like things start lifting
<v Speaker 1>up and towards the sky. Yeah, there was there was
<v Speaker 1>more to it, but essentially the theory is that Tears
<v Speaker 1>of the Kingdom was the end of the story and
<v Speaker 1>it's a cycle that repeats and then it begins again.
<v Speaker 1>But there's also win Waker, which is a flooded So yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know how that plays into it because that
<v Speaker 1>was flooded. Yeah with win Waker, I believe, correct me
<v Speaker 1>if I'm wrong. Was that during that timeline after Majure's Mask,
<v Speaker 1>when win Waker followed up, because when Waker comes in
<v Speaker 1>the sequence after Majure's Mask and the child timeline, when
<v Speaker 1>Link you know, goes back as a child to go
<v Speaker 1>find no be Majory's Mask. Uh, he then go when
<v Speaker 1>Wicker follows. But because there was no hero who could
<v Speaker 1>save High Rule, what happened was the gods just flooded
<v Speaker 1>the earth.
<v Speaker 2>And that's why Oh okay, that's why that makes sense.
<v Speaker 2>Because there wasn't a hero to come and rise and stuff.
<v Speaker 1>I always tried that Maduror's mask, even as a kid,
<v Speaker 1>I thought it was purgatory. I always I've seen it.
<v Speaker 1>Literally when I was like twelve, I was like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>that Link died. This is like an alternate story where
<v Speaker 1>he's died and he's in purgatory. Even like the intro
<v Speaker 1>made it obvious, and then everything in the game it's
<v Speaker 1>like Ocarina, but it's like a twisted like nightmare version
<v Speaker 1>is just a creepy place to be. Terminate, terminal, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you know, like I don't know. It just made sense
<v Speaker 1>to me when Wigger's the adult time. As I said,
<v Speaker 1>don't quote me, you know, I'm not too familiar. I
<v Speaker 1>didn't answer the question myself. The answer, unfortunately is sky
<v Speaker 1>Was Sword. And I say unfortunately because and I saw
<v Speaker 1>chat was a lot of blowing up when we were
<v Speaker 1>bagging on it earlier, saying sky Would Sword Love. Oh yeah,
<v Speaker 1>this is how I've always described it. Skywould Sword is
<v Speaker 1>not a bad game. Like prospectively, you put Skywood Sword
<v Speaker 1>next to the plethora of the history of video games
<v Speaker 1>as a whole. It's in the upper echelon, like I
<v Speaker 1>would say it's like an eight out of ten game,
<v Speaker 1>maybe like Borderlining seven, closer to seven than nine. But
<v Speaker 1>I would give it an A in the in the
<v Speaker 1>in the realm of games, it's a great game. In
<v Speaker 1>the realm of Zelder games, it's the worst one. It's
<v Speaker 1>it's the worst main one, not counting spinoffs, because I
<v Speaker 1>really don't like Phantom Olglass and and those like Links
<v Speaker 1>Crossbow Training and Links Crossbro tra Those games were definitely
<v Speaker 1>tedious with the style. I just didn't I don't want
<v Speaker 1>to go into all of those games. But skywould Sword
<v Speaker 1>specifically as far as like the main title, it didn't
<v Speaker 1>offer a ton like I liked the visuals. They were bright, cartoony.
<v Speaker 1>I like Grues a lot. I thought he was really
<v Speaker 1>fun like Nickelodeon style character, and I think he had
<v Speaker 1>a lot of great humor moments. And in general, what
<v Speaker 1>I really appreciated out of skywould Sword, even at the
<v Speaker 1>time time, is how much personality all the characters had,
<v Speaker 1>like Lincoln Zelder, Yeah and Grouse obviously, they all felt
<v Speaker 1>like animated cartoon characters, way more than we'd seen in
<v Speaker 1>the Path of Expressions Demise. I didn't care for. It
<v Speaker 1>was the forget me for this? Who was the guy
<v Speaker 1>with like the white hair here? He Yeah, I actually
<v Speaker 1>didn't care for him as weird. He gave me creepy
<v Speaker 1>vibes and he was trying to lick me, and that's right.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't know how I felt about Reason, but you know,
<v Speaker 1>with the characteristics again, like I really felt like that
<v Speaker 1>was the first time that we really got a sense
<v Speaker 1>of like is.
<v Speaker 2>Lincoln Zelda, like are they crushing on each other?
<v Speaker 1>Like they actually like dating here? Because it felt like
<v Speaker 1>they were vibing more like there was just a lot
<v Speaker 1>more personality. But the actual gameplay, the reason why if
<v Speaker 1>you haven't played it, why people don't really like it
<v Speaker 1>is one the motion controls. They were really awkward and clunky,
<v Speaker 1>and there was a lot there's a lot more than
<v Speaker 1>you remember of forced like turning into like a little
<v Speaker 1>beetle thing and having stear it around to solve puzzles,
<v Speaker 1>and it's a a lot of like the way I
<v Speaker 1>described it when I reviewed it, I think at some
<v Speaker 1>point is the puzzles in that game are very much
<v Speaker 1>like motion control across a tightwalk like rope, or like
<v Speaker 1>motion control this thing to go and hit this thing.
<v Speaker 1>And it's not so much using your brain to solve
<v Speaker 1>a puzzle. It's more like, I know I have to
<v Speaker 1>do this thing. I just have to do it. And
<v Speaker 1>the challenge is how good are you at motion controls?
<v Speaker 1>So the motion controls thing people didn't love, and the
<v Speaker 1>other thing is just the gameplay loop. You have the
<v Speaker 1>sky area and then three I believe portals open up
<v Speaker 1>in the clouds and they go to three different areas,
<v Speaker 1>and once you do all three, I think the area's
<v Speaker 1>flood or something happens where it changes them slightly, and
<v Speaker 1>you have to go back through to those three areas again.
<v Speaker 1>So the game became repetitive halfway through. It wasn't like
<v Speaker 1>a Karina where you kind of had a whole nother game.
<v Speaker 1>It was more like, now you kind of have to
<v Speaker 1>do the same game again. So the gameplay loop and
<v Speaker 1>then the maze. People didn't really care about the villains
<v Speaker 1>and uh yeah, the story was good, characters were good.
<v Speaker 2>Lore wise, I know, it's really good. It's funny.
<v Speaker 1>I just thought too when you said most controls. I
<v Speaker 1>remember that clip of like the I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>it was E three or some of the presentation where
<v Speaker 1>like Miamoto is trying to like do the most controls
<v Speaker 1>and like they don't work, and it don't work.
<v Speaker 2>They're like, oh, I guess we'll see you next time.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, that's that's Remember when we did
<v Speaker 1>the controllers here, Yeah, And I was like, I don't
<v Speaker 1>want this to go badly because it's live. It's moments
<v Speaker 1>like that, ye make me not want it to go badly,
<v Speaker 1>especially when it's on a keynote. Oh yeah, so I
<v Speaker 1>think we all just said Sky would sword for that one. Yeah, okay,
<v Speaker 1>all right, we should talk about the future as ouda,
<v Speaker 1>because that's been the whole thing.
<v Speaker 2>Now.
<v Speaker 1>We did have this conversation briefly in a bonus episode,
<v Speaker 1>but let's dive back.
<v Speaker 2>In with some more, shall we.
<v Speaker 3>Sure.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like people ask me all the time what
<v Speaker 1>do you want for the next Zelder? Like what is
<v Speaker 1>your future for Zelder? And I feel like I'm a
<v Speaker 1>really bad person to ask. Maybe it could be I'm
<v Speaker 1>a good person. I don't know because I don't have
<v Speaker 1>like a set view. And I think it's because again
<v Speaker 1>I grew up playing Zelder. I mean I even want
<v Speaker 1>to give love to link to the past because after
<v Speaker 1>o Kareina, My Durer's Mask, and a couple other games.
<v Speaker 1>I ended up going back to Link to the Past,
<v Speaker 1>and I do think Link to the Past is arguably
<v Speaker 1>the best game in the franchise. I just don't have
<v Speaker 1>a lot of nostalgia for it if you haven't played it.
<v Speaker 1>It's phenomenal, really, And then I went back and finished
<v Speaker 1>the first one, you know, so like I've played them
<v Speaker 1>all and what I love of the main cause Elder
<v Speaker 1>Games is that you never know what to expect. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if it's a reflection of like me
<v Speaker 1>playing the games and making me this creative person, but
<v Speaker 1>like to talk about myself briefly, Like you look at
<v Speaker 1>my main channel for example, I beat him up channel.
<v Speaker 1>I'm always doing something different and you never really know
<v Speaker 1>what to expect. And one day I could be like
<v Speaker 1>faking you out and falling you. I could be uploading
<v Speaker 1>a five second review with Mario Tennis thank you. I
<v Speaker 1>could be doing like a full green screen review or something.
<v Speaker 1>Or I could be sat at my desk with Kim
<v Speaker 1>looking at Etsy stuff kind of like I have ADHD.
<v Speaker 1>But I kind of like that everything is different and
<v Speaker 1>you're left guessing and things aren't repetitive. And what I
<v Speaker 1>loved in Zelder is that you would get all Koreana
<v Speaker 1>and then you get win Waker, you know, you get Twilight,
<v Speaker 1>and you get Skyward Sword, you know. And then we
<v Speaker 1>ended up a Breath of the Wild, which innovated gaming
<v Speaker 1>as a whole, and then we had Tears of the Kingdom,
<v Speaker 1>which I loved, but I will admit it was a
<v Speaker 1>little bit like I want to knew, like I want
<v Speaker 1>to go where we go next. So for me, I
<v Speaker 1>want to go where we go next, and I don't
<v Speaker 1>want to know what that is. I don't want to
<v Speaker 1>have it in my head already and be expecting it.
<v Speaker 1>I want to be surprised. I don't care if it's
<v Speaker 1>cell shaded, cartoony visuals. I don't care if it's win
<v Speaker 1>Waker too, like I don't care if it's another open
<v Speaker 1>world game. That's like fleshing out that idea even more.
<v Speaker 1>And now they're in this new era of Zelder, like
<v Speaker 1>what more can we do with the open world? I
<v Speaker 1>don't care if we go back to linear dungeons like
<v Speaker 1>Twilight Princess. I'm gonna love it no matter what. So
<v Speaker 1>I don't really have an expectation or a care I
<v Speaker 1>want to talk about that more.
<v Speaker 2>But what about you, guys, sually will start with you.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like I'm kind of with you like I
<v Speaker 2>would left. I would love to kind of be surprised,
<v Speaker 2>like with what they bring next to the table. I
<v Speaker 2>don't think it's going to be like a direct follow
<v Speaker 2>up to like Tears of the Kingdom or Breath of
<v Speaker 2>the Wild, because I know like people are sick of
<v Speaker 2>that already and they want something new and fresh. I'm
<v Speaker 2>not sure if I want a linear game like old
<v Speaker 2>school Zelda like Suret or Majority's Mask, or if I
<v Speaker 2>want another open world. But I think one thing that
<v Speaker 2>Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild both
<v Speaker 2>kind of lacked in was their dungeons, Like the Divine
<v Speaker 2>Beasts were not really dungeons, you know. They had a
<v Speaker 2>couple of mechanical puzzles and temples, and Tears of Kingdom
<v Speaker 2>the same vibe. Yeah, they're not even really temples. You
<v Speaker 2>can't cloud. And then you had like a bunch of shrines,
<v Speaker 2>and you know the shrines, although there's a lot of
<v Speaker 2>them in both games, like one hundred and twenty plus
<v Speaker 2>in each, and they didn't really feel like they're not memorable.
<v Speaker 2>They don't stand out.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's funny that they invested so much time and
<v Speaker 1>effort into so many shrines and then had full really
<v Speaker 1>weak dungeons.
<v Speaker 2>Dungeons exactly, And I think, like, for me, what compensates
<v Speaker 2>for that in both of those games is just the
<v Speaker 2>fact that it is just a massive open world and
<v Speaker 2>you can just you know freely explore and and like
<v Speaker 2>do shrines at your own pace and like eventually get
<v Speaker 2>to doing the Divine Beasts whenever you want to, like
<v Speaker 2>half story progression. So I mean, I would love to
<v Speaker 2>see them kind of do like a mix of both,
<v Speaker 2>where they keep the open world, but then also you know,
<v Speaker 2>bring back that which made Zelda its core, you know, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>the dungeons and just being able to go into a
<v Speaker 2>dungeon and then spend time in it, you know, get
<v Speaker 2>the map, get the compass, because you don't even get
<v Speaker 2>that in Breath of the Wild like or in the Yeah, that's.
<v Speaker 1>A good point. I guess there's all to yours. Like
<v Speaker 1>it was the Chikas slay in Breath the While what
<v Speaker 1>was it in Tears? Was it like the it was
<v Speaker 1>the the hand had something right like it was like
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, I don't.
<v Speaker 2>Remember, and Tears of the Kingdom, like both of them
<v Speaker 2>you would have to use just the ability so you
<v Speaker 2>to solve the puzzles. So again it's not like you know,
<v Speaker 2>they're like dungeons like you know, like your typical operative
<v Speaker 2>time or like you know, Majority's Mask or you know
<v Speaker 2>Twilight Princess or anything like that. So like for me,
<v Speaker 2>I would love to see that come back, you know,
<v Speaker 2>like even playing like the two D top downs, those
<v Speaker 2>games felt very Zelda like two because they have like.
<v Speaker 1>I really hope they put link between walls on the
<v Speaker 1>switch to so that can play it.
<v Speaker 2>It is phenomen it's a good game.
<v Speaker 1>It's a direct sequel to link to the past, and
<v Speaker 1>it's it's likely to the past where it's two D
<v Speaker 1>and top down, but it's like kind of like Breath
<v Speaker 1>of the Wild where you can do things in any
<v Speaker 1>order and it's really cool. And they even introduced this
<v Speaker 1>new system to make that work where you know how
<v Speaker 1>usually you have to finish a dungeon to get an item,
<v Speaker 1>or they introduced a system where you could rent items
<v Speaker 1>from this character, right, yeah, and you could rent them
<v Speaker 1>in any order and take them it's really cool. Actually, Okay, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I guess to your point, if we were to do
<v Speaker 1>back into an open world, I would love to see
<v Speaker 1>them flash that out so much more. And I guess
<v Speaker 1>what that would look like for me is utilizing the
<v Speaker 1>switch to hardware, right, so having visually a more impressive
<v Speaker 1>game maybe something we talked about this but closer to
<v Speaker 1>when they revealed do we use Elder gameplay trailer that
<v Speaker 1>never happened, So maybe having something gritty or like that
<v Speaker 1>kind of like like Twilight Princesses, like a little more
<v Speaker 1>like like a little bit more now, a little bit
<v Speaker 1>more like not as like gritty or detailed as like
<v Speaker 1>an Elder Ring which goes really overboard. Yeah, still have
<v Speaker 1>that cartoony element, but go like like a bridge between
<v Speaker 1>Breath of the Wild and then having this massive world
<v Speaker 1>that's a bit more full than Breath of the Wild.
<v Speaker 1>Was places to go, towns to explore, kind of like
<v Speaker 1>what Pokemon Scarland Violet tried to do, but it is
<v Speaker 1>kind of crappy. You had all you had all the towns,
<v Speaker 1>they were just very small and you couldn't do anything
<v Speaker 1>and splash them out and then in the towns have
<v Speaker 1>like in the Maduro's mask and stuff, you know, when
<v Speaker 1>you go play the mini games, like the true stuff
<v Speaker 1>exactly of time, have little mini games in the towns,
<v Speaker 1>have a little I had quests in the towns and
<v Speaker 1>stuff like that, and then yeah, add in the big
<v Speaker 1>fleshed out dungeons for sure. That I think that's that's
<v Speaker 1>bringing everything together. If people want a linear and people
<v Speaker 1>want an open world, like we're split in two camps,
<v Speaker 1>bring it together people every week and on a switch
<v Speaker 1>to standard. Yeah, okay, that would be really cool, eastically.
<v Speaker 1>I think that would be the dream. So hopefully Nintendo's
<v Speaker 1>cooking up something like that. I think they could. So
<v Speaker 1>do you want to add to it? Yeah? I was
<v Speaker 1>gonna say so, like as Yeah, like I said, someone
<v Speaker 1>who hasn't really played a bunch of the games, but
<v Speaker 1>has played like, you know, Breath of the Wild, Tears
<v Speaker 1>the Kingdom and like has seen all these different styles,
<v Speaker 1>I'm kind of on the same page with you. Or
<v Speaker 1>like I kind of don't want to like expect anything
<v Speaker 1>crazy because then like they could throw us for a
<v Speaker 1>loop and say, oh, well, it's actually you know, eight
<v Speaker 1>big graphic that's just something out there. But like I
<v Speaker 1>think I kind of like how they're doing how they
<v Speaker 1>handled links Awakening and echoes a wisdom, like that kind
<v Speaker 1>of style.
<v Speaker 2>I don't want.
<v Speaker 1>One of my friends absolutely just spieses that style, like
<v Speaker 1>the first noun was like he was just like, oh
<v Speaker 1>my gosh, you kidding. That cracked me up so much,
<v Speaker 1>But he like the games themselves, I think is cool.
<v Speaker 1>But like the style of it kind of being like that,
<v Speaker 1>I don't even know what do you would call it
<v Speaker 1>because it's not it's not three D, but like it's
<v Speaker 1>still like you have like the kind of top down
<v Speaker 1>view of it. I think that could be cool, but
<v Speaker 1>like maybe, yeah, I like the idea of it being
<v Speaker 1>open world as well, because that's I feel like that's
<v Speaker 1>just kind of what the cases these days for games
<v Speaker 1>in general.
<v Speaker 2>I would love to see them play around with that
<v Speaker 2>two D three DAT style. Moll.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, I don't think it's the next main line title.
<v Speaker 1>I think that would put people off and it just
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't sell. It's just the spinoff ee remakeish kind of
<v Speaker 1>I think some I think for a lot of people
<v Speaker 1>that feels like a step back. Even if it like
<v Speaker 1>was crazy and like Giant and open World, I think
<v Speaker 1>it would visually feel like a step.
<v Speaker 2>Back, like it can't be the next main line zone, but.
<v Speaker 1>They could definitely do what nothing, because that Echoes of
<v Speaker 1>Wisdom was kind of like kind of like a sequel
<v Speaker 1>in a way to Links Awakening. Yeah, just because it
<v Speaker 1>was the same style. Yeah, I would take a third
<v Speaker 1>one with Link again, as like a Link's Awakening kind
<v Speaker 1>of sequel style thing. That'd be really cool, but it
<v Speaker 1>would have to be like an in between spin off, okay,
<v Speaker 1>which they usually do. They usually you have a main
<v Speaker 1>title spinoff, main title spinoff, main title spinoff.
<v Speaker 2>For a while.
<v Speaker 1>It's spin like at least for me because like you know,
<v Speaker 1>Breath the while being like the game that I like
<v Speaker 1>first selled, a game i'd be and being in like
<v Speaker 1>that Breath of the Wild style for so many years
<v Speaker 1>now at this point, because while you get Hyber Warriors
<v Speaker 1>has been in that style your adult gaming life pretty much,
<v Speaker 1>it's always been Breath. That's crazy to think about. Oh
<v Speaker 1>my gosh, So yeah, I don't really know what to
<v Speaker 1>expect for that. But then kind of going back to that,
<v Speaker 1>if they do like another spin off, which they could,
<v Speaker 1>I feel they'd maybe take another step at multiplayer at
<v Speaker 1>least maybe something with like four swordsy kind of because
<v Speaker 1>if you can think of like the game share feature,
<v Speaker 1>then that would be a good side thing. But yeah,
<v Speaker 1>spin off side game. I just don't know about a
<v Speaker 1>main game right now. I don't know what they could do. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>did you.
<v Speaker 2>See the article about how A Numa wanted to be
<v Speaker 2>like the first one to release his the game on
<v Speaker 2>switch to but like to like Age of Imprisonment was
<v Speaker 2>like beat them to it.
<v Speaker 1>I actually didn't see that.
<v Speaker 2>I sent it to you on the discord, but he did. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it's a pretty interesting rereed.
<v Speaker 1>How long EO did you send it?
<v Speaker 2>Like, uh, right.
<v Speaker 1>Before the podcast started the episode? Oh, it's the last
<v Speaker 1>thing you sent. Yeah, A Numa Nintendo wanted to be
<v Speaker 1>the first release of Zelder on Switch to.
<v Speaker 2>You know.
<v Speaker 1>That honestly makes sense because I think like it's an impression,
<v Speaker 1>like the first time you see Zelder on Switch.
<v Speaker 2>It's not even by like.
<v Speaker 1>It's not even by a Numa, and it's just essentially
<v Speaker 1>more of the switch one version of exactly. That's a
<v Speaker 1>really good point. And I wonder if this game, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>it was a switch, wasn't it. It wasn't a dual release,
<v Speaker 1>it was just switched to just switch to. I wonder
<v Speaker 1>if this was one of those games, and maybe it is,
<v Speaker 1>and check can let me know that was in development
<v Speaker 1>for Switch one and at some point it just got
<v Speaker 1>carried over and it was like, well, we may as
<v Speaker 1>well utilize the switch too hardware and put this on
<v Speaker 1>switch to. Yeah, yeah, that sucks.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know. I don't know what I think about
<v Speaker 2>that either. Yeah, that would be the spinoff that comes,
<v Speaker 2>but it could be like you know, something's in the works.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, it's it's never two.
<v Speaker 1>I mean that is interesting. I mean because if you
<v Speaker 1>want to be the first one, I mean you could
<v Speaker 1>just say I want it to be and it is
<v Speaker 1>what it is. But if you want it to be
<v Speaker 1>the first one, you'd need to get a game out
<v Speaker 1>pretty soon, in the first couple of years, because if
<v Speaker 1>you don't, then Nintendo themselves are probably going to push
<v Speaker 1>for a spin off or something.
<v Speaker 2>Or someone else to do like yeah, Corny Techmo. So
<v Speaker 2>that's interesting sense.
<v Speaker 1>I wonder if well, when the Tears the Kingdom twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty three, three three matts, Nah, we got a few years, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>but we don't know, like if they were if they've
<v Speaker 1>been in development for it, you know, like probably, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know, because with Zelder, it really is a numer
<v Speaker 1>tackling it. And I think they were all resources in
<v Speaker 1>on Tiers of the Kingdom up until.
<v Speaker 2>The very end, because apparently they had the game already
<v Speaker 2>done for a year and they were just kind of
<v Speaker 2>like sitting get up.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, I don't know, someone, I don't know. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what the creative process is like. And also when
<v Speaker 1>you're so like Tears of the Kingdom mold, I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if you're thinking about the.
<v Speaker 2>Next one, I get it because it's definitely overwhelming because
<v Speaker 2>you got a lot of it.
<v Speaker 1>There's also like there's also there's a standard like five
<v Speaker 1>year wait minimum between the big games, and they think
<v Speaker 1>they're in general just not to cause burnout. They keep
<v Speaker 1>to that. So, I mean twenty twenty three, you guys said, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>so it's forty five, twenty six, twenty seven, twenty eight.
<v Speaker 1>I mean the earliest we're looking is twenty eight, I
<v Speaker 1>would say so, and you know, knowing development cycles now
<v Speaker 1>and how things go, I wouldn't be surprised if we're
<v Speaker 1>looking at twenty nine. We're gonna say it for Zelda's
<v Speaker 1>forty fifth twelve thirty forty fifth.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know about that.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, and then that puts us two years into
<v Speaker 1>this switch as well. I think that's honestly safe. I
<v Speaker 1>think that's safe. Maybe I think the earliest is twenty eight. Unfortunately,
<v Speaker 1>oh well, I was gonna say something before you brought
<v Speaker 1>up this article. I can't remember what it was. Now
<v Speaker 1>I have to pee so bad. Nice, I had to
<v Speaker 1>pee this bad in my life on Zelda makes us
<v Speaker 1>want to pee. I guess Zelda is okay. So the
<v Speaker 1>future is Zelle. Do you think we we didn't talk
<v Speaker 1>about it too long, but like, where else is that
<v Speaker 1>to go? Do you think? I mean we talked about
<v Speaker 1>possible spin offs. Yeah, talked about the main series and
<v Speaker 1>a release date, what we would like to see and
<v Speaker 1>hope to see. I definitely think. I mean, they've said
<v Speaker 1>that moving on from the tas the King, so whatever
<v Speaker 1>we see next will be new. It will be a
<v Speaker 1>new link. We know that for sure.
<v Speaker 2>And people keep talking about an Ocren of Time remake.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I's good chat, actually.
<v Speaker 2>But where does that come from? I mean, like suddenly
<v Speaker 2>everybody wants an Ocreen of Time remake?
<v Speaker 1>We kind of had it. It was the Korean of
<v Speaker 1>three D exactly. So I talked about this in the bonus,
<v Speaker 1>So let me give you my thoughts on it now.
<v Speaker 1>I love I love the idea, but it needs to
<v Speaker 1>be done in a specific way, and I think the
<v Speaker 1>way that it would need to be done if we're
<v Speaker 1>talking remake, as in rebuilding the game, it needs to
<v Speaker 1>be the same game, like like remake in a way
<v Speaker 1>that is a one for one, essentially same game, but
<v Speaker 1>with all new visuals, better like controls, like more updated controls,
<v Speaker 1>essentially make it feel like how that game should feel
<v Speaker 1>now presented in a beautiful way, and giving that to
<v Speaker 1>people who have never played the game before or people
<v Speaker 1>that want to relive the game, because the biggest gripe
<v Speaker 1>with Ocarina now if you haven't played it back in
<v Speaker 1>the day, is usually the controls. It's just very clunky
<v Speaker 1>and it's hard to go back and play. Obviously, it's
<v Speaker 1>a sixty four game, so it's very dated. Three yes,
<v Speaker 1>it was coming around. Yeah, So I'm totally for remaking
<v Speaker 1>this game so that we can reshare it with new people,
<v Speaker 1>with kids, with people who didn't play it back in
<v Speaker 1>the day, people like my friend Bob who doesn't want
<v Speaker 1>to play the game because it's so clunky, Right, give
<v Speaker 1>it to them in a way that they can enjoy
<v Speaker 1>it and bring the game up to twenty twenty five
<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty six Nintendo standards. Just don't start tweaking it,
<v Speaker 1>like I don't want like the rest of an Evil remakes.
<v Speaker 1>I loved those for what they were. But don't start
<v Speaker 1>changing it, chopping things out, cutting things out, missing adding
<v Speaker 1>like a new adding a new gimmick, adding new characters, like,
<v Speaker 1>don't do any of that. Just keep it the same
<v Speaker 1>and remake it how it is. Alternatively, you could just
<v Speaker 1>release a HD remaster. You could do the three D
<v Speaker 1>sods and just give it like the the Luigi's Mansion
<v Speaker 1>two treatment and put it on the switch too.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean they did that. They'd have to do
<v Speaker 2>that with Majora's mask. That's fine, Yeah, but it's I
<v Speaker 2>feel like it's just too much of a people a stretch,
<v Speaker 2>a stretch for Nintendo to do it. I mean, Nintendo
<v Speaker 2>could do it, it's easy cash, but I just don't
<v Speaker 2>see them doing it.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, it's the same argument as the HD Twilight Princess.
<v Speaker 1>It's like, yeah, but why aren't they doing it exactly?
<v Speaker 1>Why aren't they doing it?
<v Speaker 2>But I think the next thing with because I'd love
<v Speaker 2>to see that and when Wake HD come. But they
<v Speaker 2>just release Waker on Switch Online, so we know that
<v Speaker 2>it's going to come out like Toilet Princesses will also
<v Speaker 2>have that treatment as well, the same way when they
<v Speaker 2>release ot they released Majora's mask after.
<v Speaker 1>It's entirely possible the GameCube version of Twilight. I mean
<v Speaker 1>that honestly could happen in two days. It could exactly
<v Speaker 1>like a special thing.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like that's the most likely thing we're going
<v Speaker 2>to get it, just entirely possible. Yeah, I mean, if
<v Speaker 2>they decide to bring the HD over and sell it,
<v Speaker 2>they could bundle it with win Waker hates fifty dollars.
<v Speaker 2>You can't release win Waker on its own at this
<v Speaker 2>point because it's on the virtual console, but you could
<v Speaker 2>bundle it and have Twilight. The only way you can
<v Speaker 2>play it is that way. Because that's not too different to.
<v Speaker 1>How they did Galaxy Want Galaxy thank you Galaxy one
<v Speaker 1>and two because that bundle one is on is one?
<v Speaker 1>Is Galaxy one on the virtual console?
<v Speaker 2>No? No, But they did release Pravy yeah, they released
<v Speaker 2>on three D all Stars. That's Bundle three games.
<v Speaker 1>Confusing, but yes, so I think that would be a
<v Speaker 1>similar situation where they could just for Twilight that year.
<v Speaker 2>I would be really happy because I don't want to
<v Speaker 2>play win Waker on Intend to Switch online. I want to.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to either. I want the HD version
<v Speaker 1>because you know there's a nicer, better version exactly, and
<v Speaker 1>I want to play full full screen. I think that's optimal.
<v Speaker 1>But I do think there's a path where we just
<v Speaker 1>get Twilight dropped on the virtual console. Maybe in a
<v Speaker 1>couple of days. That would be pretty cool. Yeah, But
<v Speaker 1>going back to the three D A Karina and Majurer,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, it would be great if they ever do
<v Speaker 1>like we talked about in opponus episode see the bonus episodes.
<v Speaker 1>You gotta watch them. You have to miss so much.
<v Speaker 1>Which Sally brought up a great point, because I was
<v Speaker 1>always thinking of bringing the three DS to Switch in
<v Speaker 1>a way that would mean a second screen. You'd have
<v Speaker 1>to introduce some way of doing a second screen. And
<v Speaker 1>Sally was like, well, what if you just bring the
<v Speaker 1>switch this way and have the screen?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>And I was like, oh my god, you're right. You
<v Speaker 1>can literally do a three DS like this without having
<v Speaker 1>to attach your second screen. So if they do it
<v Speaker 1>that way, they could bring DS and three DS so
<v Speaker 1>then they could drop those three D games on the
<v Speaker 1>console that way. Or they could remaster them and make
<v Speaker 1>them full switch to releases, or they could remake our
<v Speaker 1>Karina and Majura's mask. A bunch of options, bunch of options.
<v Speaker 1>And I just I think people get really scared when
<v Speaker 1>they hear remaking all Karina because it's like, don't mess
<v Speaker 1>with the classics, right, like, don't remake back to the
<v Speaker 1>Future or whatever. I'm telling you. If they re and
<v Speaker 1>I'm the biggest fan you'll ever find, if they remake
<v Speaker 1>a Karina one for one, better controls, better visuals, you'll
<v Speaker 1>love it.
<v Speaker 2>Everyone will everyone. I don't know what anyone would complain
<v Speaker 2>about that.
<v Speaker 1>People get hesitant because they think they're gonna change things.
<v Speaker 1>And hey, even if they like like in win Waker HD,
<v Speaker 1>they shortened some dungeons or something. I can't remember what
<v Speaker 1>it was, but they and I could be lying, but
<v Speaker 1>I'm pretty sure I'm not. They shortened some things, they
<v Speaker 1>trimmed some fat. Maybe they trimmed some fat, right, it's
<v Speaker 1>probably not fat you're gonna miss I would say, keep
<v Speaker 1>it the way that it is, but a little bit
<v Speaker 1>of fat off the top ain't gonna hurt anything. New Year,
<v Speaker 1>new Resolution, Let's die, let's get in the shape, let's exercise,
<v Speaker 1>let's trim a little fat at the top. But that's
<v Speaker 1>the most that I would like them to do for that.
<v Speaker 2>M M. I mean, that's how it was with the
<v Speaker 2>Majority's Mask three D and O Green of Time three D.
<v Speaker 2>They made some aspects of the game easier compared to
<v Speaker 2>the N sixty four version. It's the same thing they
<v Speaker 2>did with like the Mario and Luigi series, with Piles
<v Speaker 2>Inside Story and Superstar Saga for three DS, there were
<v Speaker 2>some aspects of the game that were easier, and people
<v Speaker 2>were complaining about that. They're like, it's like, I feel
<v Speaker 2>like they're never going to bring a one to one
<v Speaker 2>remake of anything that they do when they do create
<v Speaker 2>a remake of any game, but you should just be
<v Speaker 2>happy that there's a remake.
<v Speaker 1>You have better visuals, better controls. If Nintendo outsource it,
<v Speaker 1>they might do a one for one remake. They did
<v Speaker 1>a one for one. People don't some people don't realize.
<v Speaker 1>I talked about it a lot. They did a one
<v Speaker 1>for one remake of Metro Prime. Oh really, the Metro
<v Speaker 1>Prime Remastered. It's actually your remake, which is kind of
<v Speaker 1>crazy because it falls into this weird gray area where
<v Speaker 1>it's like, you kind of it should be cool to
<v Speaker 1>remake technically, I think. But it is the exact same game.
<v Speaker 1>They just rebuilt it from the ground up with all
<v Speaker 1>new assets. So if you put the games next to
<v Speaker 1>each other, it's the same, same, same scenes. You can
<v Speaker 1>see it's the same game, but everything looks nicer and
<v Speaker 1>everything looks different. It's not taking into HD like everything
<v Speaker 1>has new textures and models and everything. So it is
<v Speaker 1>technically a remake. But when you hear remake, you think
<v Speaker 1>of something that's been remade, like the Resident Evil games
<v Speaker 1>right where it's different in some way, when Nintendo were like, oh, well,
<v Speaker 1>it's more of a remaster in the sense of it's
<v Speaker 1>exactly the same. So Nintendo has done what I'm saying
<v Speaker 1>to do with O Karina, and maybe they call it
<v Speaker 1>Ocarina a Time Remastered Edition or Acrina Time Definitive Edition,
<v Speaker 1>and it's one for one the same but looks better.
<v Speaker 1>But essentially what I'm saying is remake it. So yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it looks one for one nice do the Metro prime
<v Speaker 1>thing right, and then sell it for sixty dollars you know. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I want to read a couple of regular chats here.
<v Speaker 1>Someone said, remaking Arena Time makes sense with the movie
<v Speaker 1>coming out. Oh, if the movie is like a Karina,
<v Speaker 1>then yeah, that does actually make a lot of sense,
<v Speaker 1>and they can really do a bang bang there, which
<v Speaker 1>would be really cool.
<v Speaker 2>I agree.
<v Speaker 1>Let's see. Josh says as Operator of Time did have
<v Speaker 1>a sky temple, ice Temple, and light Temple at one
<v Speaker 1>point before they were cut out and canceled sixty four
<v Speaker 1>d D. I don't know what that is, but that's
<v Speaker 1>an interesting fact. I so, I what what time are
<v Speaker 1>we at? Oh? No, actually, okay, I have an idea.
<v Speaker 1>Let's do your game in the bonus episode. Okay that okay, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>because it's going to be live anyway. Yeah, okay, that'll
<v Speaker 1>cut some time and we can wrap up this conversation.
<v Speaker 1>We can read the super chats. I can pee because
<v Speaker 1>I really have wait p now, oh yeah you're finishing up. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>go ahead, I could pee now you could no, no, no, whatever,
<v Speaker 1>you really have to pee. I'll wait, all right, let's
<v Speaker 1>get through. All right, let's read the super chats for
<v Speaker 1>the episode. Okay, I got you, and while you're while
<v Speaker 1>you're reading super chats, I'll look at the normal chat.
<v Speaker 1>Anything to point out perfect.
<v Speaker 2>All right, So we have our first super chat of
<v Speaker 2>the day from the Legend prof Rock pr two dollars.
<v Speaker 2>Let's have a positive show. Today's all the positivity. Hopefully
<v Speaker 2>was positive enough for you, but it was cons.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't even I didn't even cut to me. I
<v Speaker 1>don't even get mad about attack the backwall.
<v Speaker 2>We have the next super chot from dag g YouTube
<v Speaker 2>five dollars. He says, Hi, Sky, I really hope an a
<v Speaker 2>Karina remake comes out, hopefully, just pray for it. We
<v Speaker 2>have five dollars from Booty by Hershey, I posted my
<v Speaker 2>mopad order. Oh moba pad order.
<v Speaker 1>Oh thank you some Oh yeah, okay, let me find that.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. But now that I have been called out by name,
<v Speaker 2>I guess I need to post a VIP reward pick two. Anyways,
<v Speaker 2>happy podcast day. Take a look. I see what I
<v Speaker 2>got in here. We also have another five dollars from
<v Speaker 2>Cosmic Drew. I felt bad when I had one of
<v Speaker 2>the most upviewed comments critiquing the audio in episode one.
<v Speaker 2>Everything sounds amazing now no more clipping. Loving the show.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you?
<v Speaker 1>Oh I did that? You tried to throw away? This
<v Speaker 1>is a booty by herne Oh with the you two
<v Speaker 1>s too. You got all the game to beat him up.
<v Speaker 1>Satisfied grip, I say that the swagged out that is awesome.
<v Speaker 1>You have the grip too for the switch. It's my grip. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>Nice.
<v Speaker 1>She also she got the translution controller. I really liked
<v Speaker 1>w that was the one that you got Cellly, I think, yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>a little bit different. I don't know, I have that
<v Speaker 1>one all right.
<v Speaker 2>Cool. We also have a ten dollars donald from Menando
<v Speaker 2>Max Max. This probably will be brought up later in
<v Speaker 2>the show, but it's it's dumb that the Zeno Blade
<v Speaker 2>X switch to edition is five dollars, but Spotoon threes
<v Speaker 2>free switch to update brought the same amount of features.
<v Speaker 1>It's a fun one from twelve pack.
<v Speaker 2>Nice. I love the VIPs of getting these. Yeah, everybody's
<v Speaker 2>happy with their socks. Now we need to see him
<v Speaker 2>on some feet. You can cut away, you can cut away.
<v Speaker 2>Who's we.
<v Speaker 1>Go?
<v Speaker 2>Boys? You and would not that's his thing brow. All right,
<v Speaker 2>we have a five dollars dono from dragon Heart six one,
<v Speaker 2>three Nintendo related quests and thoughts on ps closing Blue Point,
<v Speaker 2>which was found by ex Retro Studio developer developers who
<v Speaker 2>worked on the first third Metro Prime games. Oh I
<v Speaker 2>did hear about that?
<v Speaker 1>Sorry, it's funny. I was going through the media share
<v Speaker 1>and I saw Prof Rock had an idea for a
<v Speaker 1>T shirt.
<v Speaker 2>Oh like that? You want to see this? Yeah? Cut
<v Speaker 2>to me.
<v Speaker 1>I mean I would make it nicer than that, but
<v Speaker 1>that's a good idea. Cut to me, to me, to me.
<v Speaker 2>That's it. Thank you guys for all the donos. Appreciate it.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you everybody so much. I really appreciate it. Thank you.
<v Speaker 1>You guys are the best. Any members, Well, we're doing
<v Speaker 1>a free episode, so there's not much incentive today.
<v Speaker 2>But let me take a look. Are there any No?
<v Speaker 1>Okay, yeah, but if when we're doing the members episode,
<v Speaker 1>and if you like it, maybe consider becoming a member.
<v Speaker 2>True.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, So to clarify what's about to happen. If you're
<v Speaker 1>watching this right now live, we're gonna do kind of
<v Speaker 1>a wacky, silly thing. We're going to end this stream
<v Speaker 1>we're gonna end this episode for the day, We're gonna
<v Speaker 1>say goodbye, and then like five to ten minutes later
<v Speaker 1>once I've peed for that entire time, because I probably will.
<v Speaker 1>I have to peel like a racehorse. Oh my gosh,
<v Speaker 1>we got one right there, Chaz welcome. They only show
<v Speaker 1>up at the end of the show, so it's it's
<v Speaker 1>ten dollars or more. Pops it because I didn't want
<v Speaker 1>it to be too distracting, but I think based on
<v Speaker 1>the show, we could just make a five. I think
<v Speaker 1>I think I'm make way.
<v Speaker 2>Wait, I thought it a turn.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, we're gonna end this episode, and then we're
<v Speaker 1>gonna do a bonus episode, which usually I don't know
<v Speaker 1>you guys know this, but let me explain for the
<v Speaker 1>people on the back usually is locked behind Patreon and memberships,
<v Speaker 1>so that's not public. We're doing it public today. So
<v Speaker 1>we're just gonna go back live again with another episode.
<v Speaker 1>If you want to come join back in, you're gonna
<v Speaker 1>get the bonus episode for free as a little taste
<v Speaker 1>of what you could get if you join the Patreon
<v Speaker 1>or the members And today's episode is about the future
<v Speaker 1>of Nintendo. Everything from gamekey carts which I want to
<v Speaker 1>talk about price increases and other games and what we
<v Speaker 1>expect to see from outside of Zelda, like what Splatoon
<v Speaker 1>Raiders might look like, or what the next mar three
<v Speaker 1>D Mario might look like. Apparently we were supposed to
<v Speaker 1>see it today but we didn't. It's true, So what
<v Speaker 1>will it look like? We'll have a guess, and that's
<v Speaker 1>going to be the episode immediately following this that you
<v Speaker 1>can just come and watch. So in saying that, I
<v Speaker 1>think that's it. Yeah, I mean I had a really
<v Speaker 1>fun episode. Actually it was a lot of it was
<v Speaker 1>really good. I so quickly I'll say that I get
<v Speaker 1>conflicted every week with what to do for an episode
<v Speaker 1>because you know, a lot of podcasts will take an
<v Speaker 1>idea or a concept or a question or like something
<v Speaker 1>related to the thing that they cover right and they'll
<v Speaker 1>deep dive into it for an episode. I love doing that.
<v Speaker 1>It's what we did today. But I also love chasing
<v Speaker 1>news and things that are happening that week and Nintendo,
<v Speaker 1>because we have a weekly live podcast, we may as
<v Speaker 1>well be topical and cover everything.
<v Speaker 2>That's the point.
<v Speaker 1>Sometimes I'm like, well, do we cover news this week
<v Speaker 1>or do we dive in a topic and this was
<v Speaker 1>really an example and a test of diving into a
<v Speaker 1>topic and flashing something out. It's a little topical because
<v Speaker 1>we have Zelda fortieth in a couple of days. But
<v Speaker 1>if you guys liked this, if you liked getting more
<v Speaker 1>of like a podcast vibe without screen sharing all the
<v Speaker 1>time and talking about the latest edition edition, let us know,
<v Speaker 1>because I'd love to do it more. Every now and
<v Speaker 1>then just do an episode like this. You know, it
<v Speaker 1>always depends because like this week, there wasn't much going
<v Speaker 1>on with news, so it was a great chance to
<v Speaker 1>do it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, and I'd love to see how this episode
<v Speaker 1>performs in the algorithm too, because it's different from the
<v Speaker 1>news videos. So yeah, it was me trying something out.
<v Speaker 1>I really liked it, Yeah, I do. It was so
<v Speaker 1>much fun. Thank you boys. All right, guys, and thank
<v Speaker 1>you all of you. If you liked the episode, like it,
<v Speaker 1>leave a comment, let us know, subscribe. If you're listening
<v Speaker 1>to the Apple version or the Spotify version or whatever
<v Speaker 1>it is. Wherever you listen to podcasts, rate us five
<v Speaker 1>stars or whatever the algorithm has for rating, and leave
<v Speaker 1>a little review. On Apple you can leave reviews, and
<v Speaker 1>I saw we have like hundreds, really thousands. I got
<v Speaker 1>to look about it. I said, there's a lot of
<v Speaker 1>review we've got, like four point six stars or something.
<v Speaker 1>I say, we you guys have brought along for the
<v Speaker 1>last four or five have been going on for a
<v Speaker 1>long time. But it's us now, and I got to
<v Speaker 1>tell you, I promise you the reviews we get now
<v Speaker 1>are going to be higher and more quality because of
<v Speaker 1>you guys, and because of this new version of the show,
<v Speaker 1>which is finally actually getting somewhere like this. People are
<v Speaker 1>saying it I've been I should have said, I've been
<v Speaker 1>seeing comments. I know you guys have two on the
<v Speaker 1>actual episodes. People love this, They love our chemistry, they
<v Speaker 1>love both of you as the new hosts. I've seen
<v Speaker 1>comments saying I was really hesitant on the change at first.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't know the new people. But it's definitely the
<v Speaker 1>best version of the show. I love listening to it.
<v Speaker 1>People have been calling it like an old talk show
<v Speaker 1>radio show that they listen to in the car. It's
<v Speaker 1>all like a workout one too.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I've seen all of the comments, and I've seen everybody
<v Speaker 1>that everyone's come around on it. Everyone that didn't, they
<v Speaker 1>weren't short the start. Most people I think just loved
<v Speaker 1>it to begin with, people that were sure. I've come
<v Speaker 1>around on it. I think we're building a following of
<v Speaker 1>new people. It's awesome, And thank you guys for all
<v Speaker 1>the work and you'll put this show awesome. It's really
<v Speaker 1>I'm really happy. It's exactly what I wanted it to be.
<v Speaker 1>And I couldn't have picked two better people for this.
<v Speaker 1>And even the guys out there too, Red, Caleb and
<v Speaker 1>Pat and Justin and everybody that's been putting it together.
<v Speaker 1>Riffed like there's everybody out there, thank you so much
<v Speaker 1>for making the show possible and all of you. Man,
<v Speaker 1>this is episode five of this new show. I just pete.
<v Speaker 1>There's no way I just pissed away.
<v Speaker 2>No I didn't.
<v Speaker 1>I do actually really And the Patreons, as Red said,
<v Speaker 1>and the Patreons.
<v Speaker 2>I gotta go be though, so I stick around for
<v Speaker 2>the bonus episode. Yeah, we're gonna be live again in
<v Speaker 2>five ten minutes. I love you all, Oh Vip Patreons.
<v Speaker 2>So you'll find their names down here right now. Thank
<v Speaker 2>you so much to all of them.
