Speaker 1: Welcome everyone.

00:00:01
Speaker 2: It is the local toenty Dealers KSR postgame show. The Cats win a big one here that is important for the season, their morale and the NCAA tournament winning against Missouri in a thriller seventy eight seventy two.

00:00:16
Speaker 1: I'm sitting here with Ryan Lemon.

00:00:18
Speaker 2: We are hanging out at the DraftKings Sports Bar in Grill here in Nashville. In Kentucky, that was a tough victory. Got up sixteen in the second half, looked to be all in hand, and then Missouri said, I'm gonna give this dude, Mark Mitchell the ball, and he is going to dominate for about ten straight minutes and there's not gonna be anything you can do about it. And a sixteen point lead went down to a one point deficit. But with three minutes to go, the big guys for Kentucky, Oway Aberdeen make plays four big ones. Aberdeen gets a rebound on a free throw, gets foul, makes two threes, which gives them the lead. Oway takes it to the back, gets a huge shot to put Kentucky up three. Defensively, Garrison and O way back to back stops. Garrison makes Mitchell take a bad shot and Thenway strips it the next time down, and then it finishes with an Aberdeen take to the basket.

00:01:16
Speaker 1: Right as the shot cluck buzzer goes off.

00:01:18
Speaker 2: And Kentucky, unlike the game in rough where they had a big lead that they lost and then wilted in the last two or three minutes, in this game big lead, lost it, but then actually was able to fight back and get the victory tonight, and now they move to play Florida tomorrow. I think it probably ensures that Kentucky. I think it ensures they're not an eight or nine, and it probably puts them right on the.

00:01:46
Speaker 1: Six, but probably more likely a seven.

00:01:50
Speaker 2: But if you win tomorrow could get up to a six, So I think I do think it keeps them out of an eight to nine game, which is what I really wanted to see this weekend. Do for the cat. Ryan is with me. Ryan to me, the story of the game, well, really, you got a lot from a bunch of guys. Nobody was perfect, right, Oh, Way, I thought played really well in the second half. So so in the first half, Aberdeen made a couple of big shots in the free throws, made some bad.

00:02:19
Speaker 1: Took some bad shots, down the stretch.

00:02:22
Speaker 2: Chandler hit a couple of big threes but also had some mistakes. Garrison had no points but five blocks. The Abata made some important play. I mean, there was a lot of guys that gave you stuff and it ends up you getting a victory.

00:02:37
Speaker 3: You said the keyword to me, fight, So they did, yes, something they didn't have, and they had Missouri Raprina. They fought, even fought them off and had that huge rally. But you said that the two biggest plays of the game to me, with those two defensive stops on the.

00:02:50
Speaker 1: Cheau because we had no answer for them.

00:02:53
Speaker 3: The dude could have scored sixty points if the Missouri gave me the ball every time because we could not.

00:02:57
Speaker 2: Stop could not stop them, and they tried in the second half. They tried moreno nothing, tried Diabatee nothing. It didn't put Yeovick on him a lot, tried.

00:03:08
Speaker 1: Garrison early nothing.

00:03:10
Speaker 2: But then Pope said in the postgame press conference, I thought this was interesting. When they called time out, or when they when you had the under four time out, He for the first time told O way he could double double Mitchell, double Mitchell, and he threatened a double which caused Mitchell to take that shot, and then he did double the next time, knocked him off his leg. You could argue, why didn't we do it before that, but that was a key adjustment adjustment that I think Pope made and it made a big difference.

00:03:42
Speaker 3: Big in game adjustment right there, they really won the game. Those two players were the biggest plays of the game. And you mentioned a couple of things that frustrated me. We started playing when we lose the lost that lead. We were playing like we were behind and we had the lead, but we were playing there.

00:03:54
Speaker 1: We went away, well we you know, when they played zone.

00:03:58
Speaker 2: I think this is a really good win for Kiucky because I actually think when Missouri was able to get.

00:04:02
Speaker 1: In their zone, I think we struggled the whole game.

00:04:05
Speaker 2: We did in the first half when they played zone, we struggled. But what would happen is we would get an offensive rebound, or o Way or Aberdeen or Chanalent would make a play. But in general, our offense struggled against that zone did and in the second half it really struggled. To get you out of here, Kerry Bruce, see you later, Perry Brew, we really did struggle, uh to in that second half, but they made the place when they needed to down the street. You're right, we struggled and they actually went out of the zone in the last three minutes, which I don't really understand.

00:04:42
Speaker 3: Aberdeen took two horrible shots early in the shot clock against that zone. We just had trouble trying to figure it out. But then he's money at the free throw lines end of the game, and we got one guy I wanted the free throw lines. He he is.

00:04:55
Speaker 1: What is it? Hasn't missed the free throw in the last two minutes all year.

00:04:57
Speaker 3: I think that's what somebody said something.

00:04:59
Speaker 1: You gotta give him a lot of credit for that.

00:05:00
Speaker 2: That's I mean, when he got fat, we're down one, we got two straight offensive rebounds.

00:05:07
Speaker 1: That's the biggest play.

00:05:08
Speaker 2: Yeah, Deabante gets one, kicks it out and then we miss I think, oh way misses an open three, and then Aberdeen gets a second one and he gets fouled, and I knew when he got I was like, well, he's making dunts and that got us to seventy one, by the way.

00:05:23
Speaker 3: Seventy one, yes one. Again, we mentioned Colin Chandler. You know he's back, made some three, made some good run out of dunks, but he made a couple of really bad turnovers.

00:05:33
Speaker 2: He slipped on that when they got the steal. I don't think actually, I think he might also gotten fouled, you know what I'm talking about when he had the runaway out.

00:05:40
Speaker 3: I thought he just got in a hurry.

00:05:41
Speaker 1: Man. Well he slipped there.

00:05:42
Speaker 2: I'm sorry he got fouled on the play where it was like a one point game and he turned it over.

00:05:48
Speaker 3: Yes, I think he got found one.

00:05:51
Speaker 2: Like if I was standing where I could see, I think he got found and they just didn't call it.

00:05:54
Speaker 3: But but all those guys did their did their job. Man, they showed a lot of fight.

00:05:58
Speaker 1: But Garrison, that was that was uh, that was Golten Golden.

00:06:05
Speaker 3: That ball was on the way down. I don't even know if he was gonna get to the rim.

00:06:08
Speaker 2: It was not sure what the rule is that they can't review it unless which is that seems like a bad rule, but I'll take it.

00:06:15
Speaker 1: I'm not gonna I'm not gonna complain.

00:06:17
Speaker 3: You know, Brandon Garrison did not score a point, but he was still made a difference on the defensive end with five blocks and trying to guard Mitchell and get to take him some space.

00:06:24
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it was I don't think anybody was was perfect, but a lot of people contributed.

00:06:31
Speaker 1: Yellowvich I thought played pretty well. Yellovich.

00:06:34
Speaker 2: They it doesn't seem like Pope trusts him after the beginnings of games.

00:06:37
Speaker 3: He does not play. At the end of the game, he's not out there because he's a defensive liabilities.

00:06:42
Speaker 2: Why he's not probably and we were just getting crushed defensively anyway, I guess that was the thought process.

00:06:48
Speaker 1: You gotta give a big shout out to Mitchell.

00:06:50
Speaker 2: I mean, you know, a couple of times our defense was poor, but in general, man, he just he just took us.

00:06:58
Speaker 3: We were trying everything to stop that guy. And like I said, he could have scored every time down if you wanted to, ify would have gunned the ball. I feel like he was and the.

00:07:05
Speaker 2: Other guy had. The guy that was crying at the end. Yeah, he had I think seven points in the second half.

00:07:11
Speaker 1: I mean we did.

00:07:12
Speaker 2: I think people thought it was the same guy because it felt like they were scoring every se I mean from the eleven minute mark on it's I think they scored almost every position.

00:07:21
Speaker 3: Well they did. That's why we lost that sixteen point leaves and a sudden disappeared and they're up one point.

00:07:25
Speaker 1: So uh, but god, a big win.

00:07:27
Speaker 3: I gotta ask you, when did you get up and start pacing?

00:07:31
Speaker 1: Five minutes ago? Uh?

00:07:33
Speaker 2: We were sitting up in section three point thirty three next to some really nice British ladies who were just in Nashville visiting and decided to come to a basketball and Billy, they were like, I can't do the voice, but they were like, we were here a couple of years ago and went to hockey, so we thought this would be fun and we got them to cheer for Kentucky the whole guys. But then at the time out where they had cut it to five and it went to time out, I got up and I was and so I walked outside watched the next segment out on the big screen outside the arena.

00:08:07
Speaker 3: Did you really?

00:08:08
Speaker 2: And then watch the last three or four minutes in the arena. I do have full access, which I didn't know I had, so like.

00:08:14
Speaker 3: I can't. I don't blame you that that was a gut punch to all of us. I think we were all on pins and needles there for a while.

00:08:18
Speaker 1: No, I mean when you got down one I thought, I didn't think we were with.

00:08:22
Speaker 3: It crossed everybody's mind that this is a major collapse once again for this team, second time against Missouri. But he pulled it off.

00:08:29
Speaker 2: But they get it, and now you get Florida. You get a great opportunity tomorrow. Right, you got a chance. I think it is kind of a no lose game, right. You know last year we were in a similar game against Alabama. We had lost twice during the year, really not been competitive in the games, and then really weren't competitive the third Time'd be interesting to see if that happens again. But I think this would be This would be a big one if we're able to do it.

00:08:57
Speaker 3: Yeah, all the pressures on Florida Kentucky, go out and just play care free. You know they're they've done what they were they came to do. At least try to get to Friday. They did that. Just play Lucy Goosey.

00:09:06
Speaker 1: Why is Mario wearing red Dicky's pants?

00:09:09
Speaker 3: He's had those on all day? Why'd you wear red?

00:09:13
Speaker 2: I mean, red is our rival's color, I understand, but you could wear blue.

00:09:19
Speaker 1: Kentucky's playing today? All right, right, Well, you got the victory.

00:09:23
Speaker 2: Your man Brandon Garrison got a big defensive stop BG with the play eight. I'm nine two twenty two eighty seven. We will take your calls. Interesting about the Crown. Actually seem like less people from Kentucky at the game today than yesterday?

00:09:39
Speaker 1: Was it?

00:09:40
Speaker 3: Because it sounded like it got loud in there a couple of times.

00:09:42
Speaker 1: It did well. Maybe not, maybe there were more.

00:09:45
Speaker 2: Just the arena wasn't as full yesterday or as yesterday, but it was spread out over the whole thing. I think they were it that game. They were empty sections last time. There weren't empty sections today. But but there's a lot of Tennessee fans it had tickets and I think they were just coming in. But I'll tell you tomorrow. Tennessee's losing right now by seven. But if Tennessee wins and you get Kentucky Florida Vandy Tennessee tomorrow, that actually will probably be a packed out.

00:10:15
Speaker 3: That's a college basketball junkie dream.

00:10:17
Speaker 1: That's a great that's a great day.

00:10:18
Speaker 2: Even if it's Auburn fan dy maybe not as big a crowd, but that'll be a great, uh great great two games?

00:10:24
Speaker 3: Well with is the crowd for Auburn Tennessee.

00:10:27
Speaker 2: I haven't seen it, uh me and deer Kentucky Kentucky fans left, I mak Kentucky fans might stay and root for Auburn against Tennessee. Well, by the way, Miami of Ohio lost, they did, so can I just suggest what needs to happen?

00:10:40
Speaker 1: Yeah?

00:10:41
Speaker 2: First four, Billy, first four. Auburn Miami in the playing games. Who's not watching that? That's a great way to get people to watch.

00:10:48
Speaker 1: They gotta do that. Auburn Miami in the playing game.

00:10:51
Speaker 3: Come on, you know who beat Miami Littleio today?

00:10:55
Speaker 1: U mass right?

00:10:56
Speaker 3: You know who their coaches? Bruiser Frank Martin. Oh, that that's right.

00:11:00
Speaker 1: Frank Martin is the coach. Frank Martin. He's in Arkansas with Yeah. Yeah, Frank Martin.

00:11:05
Speaker 3: Has surfaced and he beat Miami today.

00:11:08
Speaker 1: And then after the game said, MINDI of how better make it?

00:11:11
Speaker 2: You lost in the first round of the tournament to a very much gott who wants to see another terrible team instead of mind?

00:11:18
Speaker 3: Well that's been my argument the whole time.

00:11:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I've come to your side.

00:11:22
Speaker 3: Thank you. But Jimmy Dikes can't use his line though, can't say they haven't beat anybody because they've beat everybody. He can't say that now.

00:11:28
Speaker 2: By the way, Jimmy Diykes told the KSR story, but he got it wrong.

00:11:32
Speaker 1: You got you got the pronunciation pronunciations flipped.

00:11:36

00:12:16
Speaker 1: Was everybody nervous.

00:12:17
Speaker 3: Then I got it got kind of really uneasy there when they took the lost the lead by one point. Yeah, a lot of words that might get me in trouble if I set them on the air.

00:12:25
Speaker 1: Oh really, yeah, Well don't say them then I would never do that.

00:12:30
Speaker 2: Okay, if I'm nine twenty two eighty seven, who's up.

00:12:59
Speaker 1: Ca'n't don't let me.

00:13:02
Speaker 2: Here's what Dan Dockach wants. Dan Dockach wants your attention because if if he doesn't say crazy stuff, he doesn't get any attention.

00:13:10
Speaker 1: So we the thing you.

00:13:12
Speaker 2: Own over Dan Dockitch is your attention, So don't give it to it.

00:13:18
Speaker 5: Perfect perfect, well, it'd be great to see you get a video of the riding on the horse.

00:13:25
Speaker 2: Hasn't happened yet. I'm gonna probably do it tomorrow or maybe Saturday, but it has not happened yet.

00:13:33
Speaker 5: Well be careful.

00:13:34
Speaker 1: Yeah, I know I don't want to do it. I think it was a terrible decision by me.

00:13:37
Speaker 2: I think I should have get to average the two nights of points, at which point he only has nine.

00:13:41
Speaker 3: That's a big, fat no. I don't want to make you a deal. What's that you scrape me eating by myself for a week.

00:13:48
Speaker 2: You can scrape eat now because there's other people that will be upset. You don't get to speak for the whole Kentucky fan base anything else, sir.

00:13:57
Speaker 5: That's it.

00:13:58
Speaker 1: Appreciate it.

00:13:58
Speaker 5: You have a good time down there.

00:14:00
Speaker 1: Thank you. We are having a good time. It's good. I think you're.

00:14:05
Speaker 2: You could start to feel the Big Blue missed a little bit more. Uh, And you felt it this morning at the show too.

00:14:11
Speaker 1: You know.

00:14:11
Speaker 3: I think most fans would have been happy just to get to this point, win the first two games and then play Florida. But now that we're here, I'm like, let's just if you win, let's just go out and get it.

00:14:20
Speaker 1: If you win, let's just go win a time.

00:14:22
Speaker 3: Let's just finally get to this.

00:14:23
Speaker 1: We go win a title. Mario, it's not that hard. But it's not that hard eighteen, Like, why don't we just go ahead and do it?

00:14:30
Speaker 2: By the way, first time we've won two games at the SEC tournament since twenty eighteen, which is very sad, very very how about that first time we won two games since twenty eighteen.

00:14:41
Speaker 3: That was the Shay team the last time we won the tournament.

00:14:44
Speaker 1: Who's next, mafatt, mofatt, go ahead, mafat.

00:14:49
Speaker 6: Ahi, Guys, what a fun game.

00:14:51
Speaker 7: I got so nervous at work I had to pull over, stop Lissa and.

00:14:55
Speaker 8: Turn the phone on the game on my phone.

00:14:57
Speaker 7: Actually watch it.

00:14:59
Speaker 1: I've been man.

00:15:00
Speaker 9: Nothing nothing makes a Weren't day better than a good Kentucky win.

00:15:05
Speaker 7: I'm well, I hope he'd be Florida, Borrow.

00:15:07
Speaker 4: I'm feeling good.

00:15:09
Speaker 7: I just will give a shout out to my son Marcus.

00:15:11
Speaker 6: Go let's go be Florida.

00:15:13
Speaker 1: Let's do it.

00:15:14
Speaker 2: I like I will say though, these games during the day that we win, that's kind of fun.

00:15:20
Speaker 3: It is fun. I've got the rest of the day to kind of and soak it in and enjoy it.

00:15:23
Speaker 1: That's right.

00:15:24
Speaker 2: You know we're we're in sweet tonight. Those games scenari will be awful. It's like Georgia versus Old Miss Texas A and m Oklahoma. I wouldn't watch those games if they were playing them in my house and uh, but we are going tonight to uh to enjoy it.

00:15:42
Speaker 3: Well, you guys will have fun and not watch one second of the game.

00:15:45
Speaker 1: I mean what you guys, you're not gonna go. Oh.

00:15:47
Speaker 3: I didn't know I was invited.

00:15:49
Speaker 1: We're always invited, or at least sometimes.

00:15:51
Speaker 3: I thought that was the Trancy Boys.

00:15:53
Speaker 2: No, I think we got enough tickets. I'll figure I think right, Who's next? Autumn, autam, go ahead, Autumn.

00:16:00
Speaker 10: Hey, Matt, I just wanted to say you kind of sole my thunder a little bit earlier today with not calling out the trolls.

00:16:07
Speaker 11: But you know what, I have sat back all season.

00:16:10
Speaker 10: And just let people's idiotic takes on Coach.

00:16:15
Speaker 11: Mark's hopes go.

00:16:16
Speaker 10: But you know what, we are in tournament season time and enough is enough.

00:16:21
Speaker 12: Jaylawless and Big Blue Nation hashtag BBN, you all need to turn in your fan card and delete your ex Twitter account because I am so sick and tired of you all constantly ragging on Pope and you know what about talking about Jay Lawless and nation hashtag bbn X.

00:16:47
Speaker 1: I don't know who those people are, Okay.

00:16:50
Speaker 11: But it can turn in their big blue fan cards because it's tournament time and we only want people who are ready to support not only the players but coach Pope.

00:17:01
Speaker 1: Cat there you go, love it. Who's Jay Wallace?

00:17:04
Speaker 2: I don't know, but he just got called out on non state wide radio.

00:17:08
Speaker 1: Whoever that is and hashtag bbn.

00:17:10
Speaker 3: I want to make her life a lot easier. Just learn how to do the block button. Block them, and don't.

00:17:15
Speaker 2: I've learned that from you. I bought people you make one. It doesn't take much for me.

00:17:20
Speaker 3: Now they say something bad about you, Pope me whoever, my friends get blocked automatic.

00:17:26
Speaker 2: There's like if you say anything personal or if you go you stupid.

00:17:32
Speaker 3: Lib yeah block just block them?

00:17:36
Speaker 1: Yeah. No, you know probably why I said that about doct she is.

00:17:40
Speaker 9: I didn't.

00:17:41
Speaker 1: Kentucky fans have.

00:17:43
Speaker 2: A right to express frustration as long as they do it in an express, respectful way about the team, the coach, whatever. Yes, but people who have no skin in the game. So people who are not Kentucky fans, like, what do you care what they say? Especially people that don't I mean, Doctas doesn't have a Like there's who cares. It's one thing if they're on ESPN, and like, you have to listen to him, but this is different.

00:18:06
Speaker 1: You don't have to listen to him.

00:18:08
Speaker 3: No, he wants to poke the bear.

00:18:09
Speaker 2: He wants attention. I mean, that's what he wants. And then it's you know, it is what it is. When I was pacing outside, so I watched five minutes to go to like two and a half minutes outside the arena.

00:18:21
Speaker 1: But there's a big screen right where the fan fest is.

00:18:24
Speaker 2: I was watching it there and and you know, most of Kentucky fans are in the game, so nobody's talking to me. This Auburn fan comes up to me, a very nice guy, but talking about how he likes me for far, and he won't stop talking, and like we're in the big possession, like Aberdeen shooting those free throws, and he's just like, I wanted to go.

00:18:43
Speaker 1: Man, it's two minutes to go. And he looks at me and he goes, this game's close in it and I was like, yes.

00:18:48
Speaker 3: Don't you wish you could appreciate the call.

00:18:50
Speaker 2: You can't say you promise, you can't appreciate the person you're appreciate the call, Sir, allowed to do that.

00:18:56
Speaker 1: Who's next? Eric, Eric? Go ahead? Eric?

00:19:00
Speaker 13: Hey, Matt, this is Eric from Cincinnati. I have two things. Ones like I want to talk about the game and it's a positive note, and I have one thing I've been dying to talk to you about from UK Athletics on a more negative note is.

00:19:12
Speaker 1: That okay, uh sure, go ahead.

00:19:16
Speaker 3: Okay.

00:19:16
Speaker 13: Well, the first thing was me, like everyone has had my issues with Pope. But I think that, like overall these past two games, like the effort is outstanding, Like people are playing hard. Brandon Garrison's had his two best games probably of the year. If we could just have hit open threes this game, I don't think it would have been close. Honestly, how many open threes be tind Yeah, we did.

00:19:39
Speaker 2: Miss we missed, like well, at one point I tweeted about this. We were up like thirteen or fourteen, and both Chandler and Cam had wide open threes that if I I think if they hit, they bust the game open and they missed them both, so that you're right, get open threes. Now they might say, you know they missed, they missed I think quite a few open ones too, but nevertheless, go ahead.

00:20:06
Speaker 1: Yeah.

00:20:06
Speaker 13: I just think like they just played tough and everything and not a great memory. But it's what we always think. Like I thought we were so much better than Auburn, like back in like twenty nineteen. But it's hard to beat a team three times in a row. So that's just how it is.

00:20:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, whatever, talk tomorrow.

00:20:24
Speaker 13: This is on a negative note. This isn't about any players, but this is just something I still think it's unacceptable. I think the money going around with like Eli and Niche is just unacceptable. I remember when I was a student in the twenty nineteen and the raising everyone's tuition, and yet somehow Eli's getting a couple hundred thousand dollars rais. I just think it's disgusting, honestly, how they're throwing money around to each other like it's nothing.

00:20:49
Speaker 2: Well, I mean, you know, and I appreciate the call. There's gonna be plenty of time for them to uh to sort of. It's that I asked on I guess what is today today's Thursday. So I guess I asked on Tuesday to have either ELI on or have a statement about the decision to add one point eight million dollars, and they said they get back with me, and I still haven't anything.

00:21:12
Speaker 1: So that's where it goes.

00:21:14
Speaker 3: They'll they'll contact you at midnight on like before you go vacation right now, Yeah, on vacation.

00:21:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, who's next, Darren, Darren? Go ahead, Darren.

00:21:23
Speaker 2: By the way, Louisville's down fifty seven forty nine to Jay Lucas, who looks exactly like he did.

00:21:28
Speaker 1: When he was a sad in high school. Go ahead, Darren. Yes.

00:21:37
Speaker 14: Got a question on referee. Uh, I can't stand Pat Adams almost as bad as I can't stand Duck Shalls. And the question is is there some sort of accountability by the SEC and the NCAA, like how they grade them on their performance to kind of keep them accountable.

00:21:59
Speaker 2: From what I understand, And the NCAA actually does greats for the tournament, and you know, they they picked the best guys to be in the tournament, then they great them as they go. The SEC says they do do the same, but I also think, like once you're kind of an SEC guy you kind of are. But remember conference like Pat Adams doesn't just do SEC. He does a number of conferences.

00:22:24
Speaker 1: But uh, but yeah.

00:22:25
Speaker 2: I mean my thing, I actually don't think Pat Adams is a bad referee. My problem Pat Adams is he likes to be on television and I don't like referees that like to hear to be on television.

00:22:37
Speaker 14: Correct if the him and Dug Showers both, I don't think they can blow their nose or wipe their backside with out that reviewing that monitor, you know what I mean.

00:22:47
Speaker 2: Yeah, I appreciate the call, doesn't it feel like I don't know if we've just had more hits to the face or people just can't like it feels like we've got more flagrance.

00:22:57
Speaker 1: To the face in these two games than I've seen all you.

00:23:00
Speaker 3: Yeah, Malachi's got a black eye from taking an elbow to the face.

00:23:04
Speaker 2: Uh least well and the one, I mean, we only we only made one free throw from it. But the one for Diabat was a little bit of a godsend there because it was I didn't even see it coming. It was a un whatever, it was, unobserved, unobserved, unobserved flagrant.

00:23:22
Speaker 3: You know the uh, the way the rules are any any hand in the face or whatever to the face, it's they there calling it records like.

00:23:30
Speaker 2: That's a little though. I mean, it's one thing if you hit the guy in the face. It's another thing if you just like I honestly felt like with the one there with with uh with Diabyte, I don't know.

00:23:44
Speaker 1: Sometimes I mean, they're not trying to hit them.

00:23:46
Speaker 3: You're just making a basketball move or a basketball play, you But.

00:23:49
Speaker 2: I mean that's what they do in the NFL with with with hits to the helmet with quarterbacks. Whether you mean to or not, it doesn't really matter. So, uh, we'll do one more and we'll take a break. Who's next, Dave, Dave, go ahead.

00:24:00
Speaker 15: Dave, Hey, glad we won today, relieved, looking forward to playing Florida again for the third time. But can we get someone other than Jimmy Docks to call a game? He shouted out, you guys, and the Malachi Moreno's mom call in, and he got the pronunciation of the Moreno exactly.

00:24:24
Speaker 1: So I went up to him after.

00:24:27
Speaker 2: I went up to him after the game, and I told him that he had flipped it, and he said, oh, I bet Big Blue Nation won't say anything to me about that online, and I said, don't check your Twitter because everybody had everybody had written him. I mean, he was trying to It's nice. He was trying to tell the story, but it didn't really didn't really work out.

00:24:48
Speaker 15: And the talking about the flagrant foulst of the face, the one on Jasper Johnson was definitely should have been a flagrant. That's when they missed they took it.

00:24:57
Speaker 1: I don't understand why that was not. You're right after I just said, they call it all the time. I don't.

00:25:04
Speaker 2: I don't think he did it on purpose there, but if he hit him in the face, like I mean, I don't understand why that one was.

00:25:09
Speaker 3: That's what Jimmy was saying too. He's like, that's clearly a hand to the face. That should be a flager one. And they didn't even wave that one off.

00:25:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm with you, sir.

00:25:17
Speaker 2: I don't know why they did that, but appreciate it coming tomorrow me too. Twenty two eighty sent Remember tomorrow's game is at one Easter correct, so it's actually thirty minutes later than the game today.

00:25:33
Speaker 1: It moves back to the normal time of one.

00:25:35
Speaker 3: O'clock right at one o'clock, so a KSR is at normal time.

00:25:39
Speaker 2: Tomorrow it will be we will have a pre show tomorrow from nine to ten. That'll be right Shannon and Billy, and then we will do ten to eleven thirty, so it'll only be an hour and a half tomorrow. Still still TBA on location and all that. Well, we we hopefully I'll know before the end of this show. So uh, we're gonna take a break and be right back. It's a Local Toy Dealer's KSR postgame show, all right.

00:26:03
Speaker 1: Welcome back.

00:26:03
Speaker 2: It is the Local Toy Dealers KSR postgame show, all right.

00:26:06
Speaker 1: We just got it worked out.

00:26:08
Speaker 2: So tomorrow we will do KSR live at ten Roof in the morning. It'll be the regular time for the show, so it will be nine Central, ten Eastern. We will be at ten roof. Hopefully I'll know before this show ends what time they will open the doors, but we are gonna be at ten roof for an hour and a half nine to ten thirty. May have a couple special guests as well. So we weren't gonna do it Friday, but you know what, the excitement has overcome us and now we're gonna do.

00:26:37
Speaker 3: It might as well. I mean, we're we're playing Florida tomorrow, the chance for a huge win, best win of the season, so why not k get everybody fired up as they go into the arena.

00:26:45
Speaker 1: That means you can't let me yell tonight because I got to keep my ball.

00:26:48
Speaker 3: And we can't let you get injured on the electrical bull tonight either.

00:26:51
Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I'm not doing it tonight.

00:26:53
Speaker 2: If I do it like I think, my thought is if we lose tomorrow, maybe do it tomorrow night.

00:26:58
Speaker 1: If we win tomorrow, hold off, well maybe Saturday night.

00:27:02
Speaker 2: So you can have to be able to get on that plane to go to ESPN Sunday morning, though, so you can. If I get hurt and can't get on that plane and I missed the bracket show, it is on you.

00:27:10
Speaker 6: Not me.

00:27:11
Speaker 3: No, I'm trying to give you a pass here and not do it tonight.

00:27:14
Speaker 1: I'm not doing it tonight because we're playing tomorrow.

00:27:16
Speaker 3: You can't.

00:27:17
Speaker 1: I want. I want to hurt my back and then not be able to stay.

00:27:19
Speaker 3: At you walking into the ESPN studios on crutches.

00:27:23
Speaker 1: Also, well, I cannot, I agreed, get hurt.

00:27:29
Speaker 3: That's a big deal for you.

00:27:30
Speaker 2: I could not get hurt this this weekend. I'm just saying, who's next.

00:27:35
Speaker 16: Let's give our Johnny Rocker personal injury attorney money maker of the game. Matt injured. Small town compassion with big city results when you call the Rocker at two seven zero three two one four four two nine, and I think because of his offensive and defensive performance at the end of the game, we go with Otega oh Way twenty one points, nine of eighteen from the field. He's the first Kentucky player to score twenty plus points in two games in the SEC tournament since darreon Fox. Every five minutes he was plus seven on the plus minus. Otegoway's our player.

00:28:04
Speaker 2: I thought he was great tonight. You know, it's easy to focus on the defense. Great defense. We did not play on the big so I actually thought our defense on the perimeter players for Missouri was pretty good.

00:28:16
Speaker 3: It really was. That's they didn't hurt us there. It was the big guys. But him doubling down at the end was the difference.

00:28:21
Speaker 1: He was.

00:28:22
Speaker 3: He was a superstar today. He's he proved today that he should have been first team All SEC, not second team.

00:28:27
Speaker 1: One person rights.

00:28:28
Speaker 2: Matt would you call today a AOC game. It was definitely AOC Aberdeen, OA Chandler combined for let's see fifty two of our seventy eight points fifty two of our seventy eight points Forway, Aberdeen, Chandler, AO.

00:28:46
Speaker 3: CEOC and like we talked about earlier, they each made plays when we needed it the most. You know, they made some mistakes, but when we needed them, they were there for us.

00:28:55
Speaker 1: By the way, Aberdeen had seven assists.

00:28:58
Speaker 3: How many turnovers? I don't think he had it. We had one bad turnover.

00:29:00
Speaker 2: Yeah, they had seven assists one turnover, so he took a couple of bad shots. But you know, you give you give me sixteen and seven if you're if you're you're Aberdeen, I'll take that.

00:29:12
Speaker 3: And you know, the Florida Guards matchup pretty well with AOC. So if our big guys can kind of hold their own with their record.

00:29:19
Speaker 1: I don't think people like that nickname.

00:29:21
Speaker 3: I kind of like it.

00:29:22
Speaker 1: Yeah, AOC.

00:29:23
Speaker 2: I mean I would do the same thing if we had a player whose name was like M A. G. A.

00:29:30
Speaker 1: You know, I would you I don't know who's next, Kentucky Chucky, Kentucky Chucky? Go ahead, sir, what's going on? Man?

00:29:39
Speaker 4: And Ryan's doing long time?

00:29:40
Speaker 1: He'll talk nice talking.

00:29:42
Speaker 4: To much man? Hey listen. Likewise, fellows, just stay safe. Done that.

00:29:45
Speaker 1: Listen.

00:29:46
Speaker 4: This may sound stupid, and I know you talked to Jimmy Dike. You know you got that personal celebrity relationship.

00:29:52
Speaker 1: It's not it's not a celebrity relationship though.

00:29:56
Speaker 4: Oh come on, Matt, you know you're the man. But I'm gonna move on from that. My question is this is it part of his stick to talk in basketball terminology that nobody understands.

00:30:08
Speaker 2: Maybe a little bit. I mean he's you know, I not just because he's always nice. I actually think he's a good announcer. I think it's tough because we have him so much and he's not actively rooting for UK like Tom and Jack that chucky. I think we tend to, you know, he frustrates us because we have him so much. I mean, the same thing you used to happen with Pat with Vital And I think that's probably I mean we've had him like ten times a year for the last twenty years, so I think don't you think that's part of it?

00:30:43
Speaker 4: It could be, But could you do me a favor where you talk to him. Could you ask him, you know when he uses these you know, the guy to pin down gotta do the floppy dog ear thing? Could he explain what that means.

00:30:54
Speaker 2: I actually think that's a fair question. I think that's a completely fair question. I think that's fair. I appreciated to hear from you, Chucky, because they do say floppy action a lot, and I don't know how many people in our fan base can you explain to people with floppy action?

00:31:08
Speaker 3: No, I grew up in a basketball household. I didn't start using I've never heard the word floppy basketball till like I think last year, he does.

00:31:14
Speaker 1: Say floppy action a lot without explaining what it is.

00:31:17
Speaker 3: I agreed, I really don't know what it is.

00:31:20
Speaker 2: Yeah, No, I think that's I think that's a completely completely fair.

00:31:25
Speaker 3: I got a point for you. What did Colin Chandler not wear today?

00:31:29
Speaker 2: No T shirt that he was asked about that Tyler Thompson asked him about huh and Tyler, and he said that he didn't think about that. But it is worth noting he played well and he did not have a T shirt.

00:31:42
Speaker 3: On it played well against Vandy or the shirt against and m played bad or the shirt against Florida played bad? Did not wear this it played for the shirt last night, didn't wear the shirt today.

00:31:51
Speaker 1: I think that's uh one more.

00:31:53
Speaker 3: Guess who was in the stands Brandon Garrison's son.

00:31:56
Speaker 1: Yes, two for two? All right, who's next? Nancy? Nancy?

00:32:01
Speaker 17: Go ahead, Hey, Matt and Ryan nail bider for sure? Today? Another one? But I have to give Mo Diabate some credit. You know, he's still observing Ramadan and you really got to keep some credit. He's being really tough out there, and not being able to drink or eat is something you know, to be credited for. And that's all I got. Yeah, go cats, Let's hope we have a win tomorrow.

00:32:27
Speaker 3: I love it. They get him up before sunrise so he can eat a hearty breakfast and that's got to last him all the way until sundown.

00:32:35
Speaker 2: But so since he's asked him about that in the post, git yeah, and he said, Pope goes, what time do you get to eat today? And he said six point fifty one pm. He knew the exact minute that he gets to start eating food. But think about he's playing two of these games and he doesn't get to drink water during the game.

00:32:52
Speaker 3: So these early games may be beneficial for him because he's actually playing on some energy from his early morning breakfast.

00:33:00
Speaker 2: Well, I mean he's played pretty well, know, but the game starts at eleven thirty local time and he has to eat at seven thirty. You think he's still got the energy four hours later?

00:33:11
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay.

00:33:12
Speaker 3: Yeah, I was still full my big breakfast eight this morning, Continental breakfast, okay.

00:33:17
Speaker 2: Ten Roof will open the doors in the morning at eight am, eight am, okay, so if you wanna get your get your seat, we will. We will go nine to ten thirty. The pre show will not be at ten Room, so we will only do KSR at ten Room, but to open the doors at eight so you can get a table and get yourself get some brew before the.

00:33:36
Speaker 3: Game, like old school KSR down here. We're doing back to back shows at ten Roof, man.

00:33:41
Speaker 1: That's true.

00:33:42
Speaker 2: We've only done one for so many I didn't even schedule the Friday show because I was like, I don't want to be disappointed again, and now we're gonna get to do it.

00:33:50
Speaker 3: But I love it.

00:33:51
Speaker 2: It's back to the Mario. He has a graphic. Let me see if this graphic looks good, Mario.

00:33:56
Speaker 3: Mario's good at that.

00:33:57
Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, to put something on there that's like special, Uh you know, I don't know something that's suggesting, like we're just decided to do it.

00:34:04
Speaker 1: What would the word be?

00:34:06
Speaker 13: This?

00:34:06
Speaker 1: This is how Mario and not come up with stuff. What will we say? Uh?

00:34:09
Speaker 3: Breaking news?

00:34:11
Speaker 1: It's not breaking news exactly. It's like surprise, surprise, surprise show. No, no, not you, ma'am. She thought that would saying surprised her. I'm sorry, scared. I was a surprise scared.

00:34:26
Speaker 2: Her, all right, Yeah, surprise Friday morning show here, all right, who's next?

00:34:31
Speaker 1: Casey, Casey, go ahead, Casey.

00:34:34
Speaker 10: Hey man.

00:34:35
Speaker 18: My daddy used to make me listen to these shows drown up and I hated it. And I can't believe I'm calling in one now. But I had to tell you my son.

00:34:42
Speaker 1: You don't you don't know, okay, all right, but my son.

00:34:50
Speaker 18: Is nine years old, huge fan. We were at the Florida Gay last week. I was excited to pick it up from school yesterday. Tell him that we won, he said, I know.

00:34:58
Speaker 6: He said.

00:34:59
Speaker 18: I had a tab I'm open on my Chromebook while we were doing work, and I kept working.

00:35:03
Speaker 1: I kind of kids.

00:35:06
Speaker 18: I just had to tell you that love your show.

00:35:09
Speaker 2: I appreciate the call, and Jackson should get to skip.

00:35:12
Speaker 1: School tomorrow too.

00:35:13
Speaker 3: Well, you put out that's.

00:35:14
Speaker 2: Three straight days, Jae. I have put out for people I haven't seen. If you go on X Mario put this on the Facebook page. The note.

00:35:20
Speaker 1: We have a note for kids so they don't have to go to.

00:35:22
Speaker 3: School school excuse.

00:35:24
Speaker 2: It's school excuse, and basically it says that your kid is working for KSR. Yes, now, of course none of your kids are working for KSR. Their teacher doesn't have to know that, right right, They're on a special So it's a collective lie to the state.

00:35:40
Speaker 3: So every parent should download that and give it to your school, edit it for your kid, give it to the school, and your kid can stay home and watch it. Catch me.

00:35:48
Speaker 2: So they just noted Moreno, Aberdeen, Garrison and Andrea Yellovich would be MAGA.

00:35:56
Speaker 3: It would be so that that combination on the floor. We got to call it the Magat combination. As a MAGA team, Yeah.

00:36:02
Speaker 2: We don't ever have three. We don't ever have three bigs at once, though.

00:36:05
Speaker 3: I'm gonna ask Pope to do it, you know, we'll keep AOC as much as much.

00:36:10
Speaker 2: Oh and then somebody was like Matt Denzel, yellowch Trent Noah is dj T.

00:36:18
Speaker 1: That's Donald J. Trump.

00:36:19
Speaker 3: Well there we go. We got all kind of new nicknames.

00:36:22
Speaker 1: Yeah, we're not Gonnat that when I'm not doing.

00:36:24
Speaker 3: For two games in a row, Trench not played.

00:36:26
Speaker 1: I don't think he's gonna play with Cam. I think Cam's got his minutes.

00:36:29
Speaker 3: Cam hit one from the logo today, Jack that went up from the logo.

00:36:33
Speaker 1: Yeah, I think.

00:36:34
Speaker 2: I mean, I think Cam allows you. The only thing Noah gives you more than Cam is rebounding. Cam's not a very good rebounder.

00:36:42
Speaker 3: But it seemed like a lot of the time though Cam was a non factor today, I thought, well I do.

00:36:47
Speaker 2: I mean, he played thirteen minutes. It doesn't feel like he played that long, but I think those are thirteen important minutes.

00:36:53
Speaker 3: Stretches the defense.

00:36:54
Speaker 2: And you also have, like I'm sitting here looking at the minutes for Oway, Aberdeen and Chandler. You know, oh Way played thirty four, Aberdeen thirty five, Chandler thirty three, So that's nine, that's sixteen minutes they don't play. Williams gets thirteen of those. Yeah, and I think that's.

00:37:12
Speaker 3: Helpful, just I said earlier, just having him out there. The defenses have to honor him. They know he can jack one from anywhere.

00:37:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, who's next, Grayson? Grayson? Go ahead, Grayson, Hey not.

00:37:26
Speaker 2: I am Grayson from Austin and I was wondering what you thought about in the SDC tournament. Well, it's been fun so far. Two for two Grayson and Austin. Wish you were here Tennessee and Auburn playing. By the way, who are you for? I think ABD I'm absolutely I appreciate the car. Yeah, I think I like see Auburn win. If you get Auburn and Vandy, I feel like we could beat either one of those teams. If we beat Florida, absolutely so beating Tennessee three times a year would be hard, so.

00:38:02
Speaker 3: Hard I want. You know, my brother's family are all Auburn people, so I kind of root for them when I can, so I'm moving defterly rooting for Auburn to win.

00:38:08
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think Auburn is playing for the turn. If they win this game, I think they're probably in. If they're If they don't, they might still be in. But I think this would get them in if they won today.

00:38:17
Speaker 3: They explained, Miami, Ohio losing kind of bumped Auburn to the first four out.

00:38:21
Speaker 2: Yeah, Louisville is down four to Miami with four minutes to go. I know Terry Miners is sitting in that w h a S studio being nervous about it. We'll see, we'll see what ends up happening. All right, who's up next?

00:38:36
Speaker 1: Cody? Cody? Go ahead, Cody?

00:38:40
Speaker 4: Hey, Matt, what's up.

00:38:42
Speaker 14: I've been seeing on I've been seeing on X that there's rumors flying around about JQ playing tomorrow.

00:38:51
Speaker 2: I think that's very unlikely. Yeah, I mean, you know, he didn't. I watched, he didn't quittings, did any warm up today like he and from what I understand, he hasn't done anything with the team, So I don't.

00:39:04
Speaker 3: Know where those rumors come from. When he's not even practicing with the team, Why would he go? How's he gonna play?

00:39:08
Speaker 1: I mean, the guy who knows all this is Mario. He's got the plug.

00:39:12
Speaker 2: If you'll stop eating chicken fingers and they answer the question, do you think do you think he'll play tomorrow?

00:39:16
Speaker 1: No? I think the answer is no. I haven't seen the rumors, but I think it's it's no.

00:39:20
Speaker 3: We talked about it earlier. The last time he played was the Missouri loss at home as the last time he played in the Kentucky uniform.

00:39:26
Speaker 2: Yeah, eight five nine, twenty two eighty seven. We are gonna take a break. Kats in Florida will get their third attempt at it tomorrow, and we're gonna do KSR Live tomorrow and Timmy Drew, which we didn't think we were gonna do. We'll take a break and be right back. It's a local toy Dealers KSR postgame show. Runner back, it is the local Toyota Dealers KSR post game show. Remember we are on the road to the SEC Tournament, which of course is sponsored by Clayton and Kroum and our favorite burnt Tavern bourbon, which we've learned about this trip. But Clayton Creme has a new store here in Nashville. While you're in town, you should check it out. It is where is it in town here? Twelve South? Is that up road?

00:40:11
Speaker 3: Why not South? Well, it's over there by North. That's not a goose North one way and south the other way?

00:40:21
Speaker 1: Does it? Well?

00:40:22
Speaker 2: Anyway, Clayton and crime has belts, leather bags. They've been a great sponsor of ours and I have I get a ton of stuff from there, so do you all do? It was a new store on twelve South in Nashville.

00:40:35
Speaker 3: I was right twelve South.

00:40:37
Speaker 1: That must be like a shopping center.

00:40:39
Speaker 3: Oh it's gotta be yeah.

00:40:41
Speaker 2: And then Bert Tavern there in Garrett County. Thank you to them for sponsoring us on the road at the SEC tournament, which now goes another.

00:40:49
Speaker 3: Day, another day. Like I said, most I think UK fans were hoping just to get to Friday. Now that we're here, I think they we're gonna keep it going, keep it going. I mean, you take away that eleven to nothing, run the floor and opened the game with we outscored him the rest of the way. Just carry that on into this game.

00:41:04
Speaker 1: Who's up next? Kevin? Kevin?

00:41:07
Speaker 8: Go ahead, Hey guys, what's up? I just wanted to tell you. I listened to the game on the radio with Tom and Goose and it was something funny that they did.

00:41:18
Speaker 3: Uh.

00:41:18
Speaker 8: I guess there was a play where there was they were reviewing a foul to be a flagrant, and Goose said that some friend of his was there who he knew from the Milwaukee Bucks that was reviewing. He was reviewing the referees like like judging him or whatever. And uh then like the he said, I just asked my friend, and my friend said his common.

00:41:40
Speaker 15: Foul, you know.

00:41:41
Speaker 8: So like a couple plays later, I guess Moreno gets held and they pull his jersey, you know, and they're stretching it out. They don't call him nothing, and Goose goes, how could they miss that call? And Tom goes, I asked your buddy over there, A good question.

00:42:01
Speaker 2: I actually thought the officiating was pretty good today, to be honest with you, all things can see, I don't think the referees played a role, which is the best you can ask, right, Well, they missed that goaltending. I'm glad that didn't happen against us.

00:42:14
Speaker 3: That's probably the most glaring mistake they made. They called the double technical when it probably should have been called a double technical when Brandon Garrison there got kind of shoved each other.

00:42:22
Speaker 1: By the way.

00:42:23
Speaker 2: I love Brandon Garrison and the other guy started it. But my man, again, the game is over. The only way you'll lose it is getting involved in an our altercation.

00:42:35
Speaker 1: Don't get involved in our altercation.

00:42:37
Speaker 3: Right, Like you said, what's Kentucky's record when he gets a technical?

00:42:40
Speaker 2: That's true, He's undefeated when he gets a technical. Well, so keep it going.

00:42:44
Speaker 3: I think he should get one of the first minute of the game tomorrow.

00:42:46
Speaker 1: All right, stop slow down? Who's up next? Rebecca? Rebecca, go ahead, Rebecca.

00:42:53
Speaker 19: Hi, guys, I just wanted to share my favorite part of the game today. I'm a teacher, and so I got to put on the game for my students, as after all they work, and I just got to sit back and watch them cheering along and enjoying it and realizing that twenty plus years ago I was sitting in a classroom just like them, enjoying this. And the tradition of UK basketball just keeps getting passed on, and the bonuses. Since we won, we get to do it all again tomorrow.

00:43:29
Speaker 1: Love it. That's very cool, And I agree with you.

00:43:31
Speaker 2: I mean, I understand that, you know, I understand there's learning to take place, but your kids have a better chance of remembering that than anything else, and you get to connect it to when you were in school. I love it. Great stuff. Thanks appreciate the call. Auburn's up ten on Tennessee. Miami is up one on Louisville with a minute and twelve seconds, whas Terry Miners will follow us his happiness or sadness. I could depend on the next minute and twelve second.

00:44:00
Speaker 1: We'll do four more. Who's next, Thomas, Thomas? Go ahead, Thomas.

00:44:05
Speaker 20: Yeah. I love the guard play. They'll talk a lot about that. But we had some peryphial stats that are great too. I know Garrison jobs's crazy, but he had four block shots he did.

00:44:14
Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought he actually had nine to five. They didn't. They only gave him credit for four.

00:44:18
Speaker 20: But go ahead, Yeah, we had nine block shots. That's kind of worth ten points.

00:44:23
Speaker 2: Uh.

00:44:23
Speaker 20: You got Yellovich and Diabate on offensive rebounding they were I mean seven to six. That's Those are the largest numbers these perfial players doing their role. That's substantial.

00:44:35
Speaker 2: You're exactly right about that, and I think I think Diabate and Yellovich specifically, You're right. They do a couple things that you don't necessarily stick out for their big plays, and usually it's Yellowvich in the first half that does it, sir, and Diabat in the second half.

00:44:52
Speaker 20: Yeah, it's a team effort.

00:44:54
Speaker 1: I completely agree with you. Appreciate the call. Three more. Who's next, Danny, Danny, go ahead.

00:45:01
Speaker 15: Hey guys, I.

00:45:02
Speaker 6: Know it's a fun trip with Christoma mcafe wins.

00:45:05
Speaker 15: Uh.

00:45:06
Speaker 6: But Kentucky did it again. They won my birthday. I'm sixty two years old today and fortunately I get to Fall Kentucky and they always usually do very well on the set tournament. So it's been a wonderful day.

00:45:23
Speaker 2: Well, happy birthday. How are you going to celebrate it? You got a treat for yourself. You're gonna go have dinner somewhere nice.

00:45:30
Speaker 6: Now we're we're going out tonight to one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in uh in Lagrange there Crestwood, Kentucky. We're going to Gustavo's Mexican restaurant.

00:45:43
Speaker 2: Oh, he's a good guy, well good well Enjoys.

00:45:47
Speaker 6: Is a great friend of ours. We've been we've known him for a long time. But anyway, we had fun to be careful on the ball there, Matt.

00:45:57
Speaker 1: Appreciate the call.

00:45:58
Speaker 2: So so tomorrow, by the way, if you are in Lexington, Ks Bar will be open to watch the game tomorrow as well, So show up there and scream and get us a victory.

00:46:10
Speaker 3: You know, I think Mayor Lynda Gordon tomorrow Lexon should just shut Lexington down at one o'clock tomorrow, let schools out, shut all the businesses, let everybody go shut.

00:46:17
Speaker 2: Well, don't shut all the businesses. We need to be open in order to have the game on it ksbar. I don't think we should shut all the.

00:46:23
Speaker 3: Business See, I was thinking I'll shut the businessy would come to our restaurants, so all that.

00:46:26
Speaker 1: Week we qualify we are a business.

00:46:29
Speaker 3: Just our place, shut all down all the business.

00:46:31
Speaker 1: Birds, shut them all down except ours.

00:46:33
Speaker 3: That's why they come for lunch and have a good you know, watch party for the for the game tomorrow. School needs to be let out, so by go home and watch the game with their parents, go to a good holiday.

00:46:42
Speaker 1: All right, Well, I don't know if she'll go for that. But two more, who's next?

00:46:46
Speaker 3: Nate?

00:46:47
Speaker 1: Nate, go ahead and.

00:46:48
Speaker 7: Nate, Hey, hey man, how's it going? Thanks for taking my call. I thought it was a great game today. One frustrating thing I have with this team and it seems to seem to have all of this years and we just give up that one big games. That one guy on the team, Mitchell had thirty two points today. McKinnon had twenty eight points yesterday for LSU. That's sixty points. We've given up just two players over the last two games. That's what we do.

00:47:15
Speaker 2: McKinnon really frustrated me yesterday. But I have to tell you, I don't know that Kentucky could have done a whole lot with Mitchell. I mean, you know, you could make a decision to double him earlier and try to get somebody to beat you, which they did at the very end.

00:47:29
Speaker 1: But he was kind of a hoss.

00:47:31
Speaker 2: And some of those shots, you know, sometimes sometimes he hit.

00:47:35
Speaker 1: He hit it. We you know, he got opened.

00:47:36
Speaker 2: A lot of times those were just contested shots Ryan where he just overpowered our guy and said I'm scoring.

00:47:43
Speaker 3: Yeah. There are a couple of times we played really good defense on him and he still scored out the basket. There's nothing you can do about that.

00:47:49
Speaker 15: Yeah.

00:47:50
Speaker 7: Then there's that one play he was he took that wide open three there towards the end of the second half.

00:47:55
Speaker 2: I couldn't nobody just I could well so Moreno was laying all of him and he hit that three, and part of me was like, why did he get out there? But then on the other hand, it's probably you'd rather him take that shot than try to drive to the basket. So you know, sometimes you just got to say, dude's playing well, and to some extent he was doing that.

00:48:18
Speaker 7: Yeah, he had a phenomenal game today. I just see that.

00:48:23
Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I appreciate.

00:48:25
Speaker 2: Charles Barkley always says, you know, you get a guy who's playing cirta, there's really nothing you could do. You know, you're not gonna be able to start. And I'm not saying he was. He's like that normally, but he was kind of like that today.

00:48:36
Speaker 3: The caller said he wasn't just doing it inside, he was getting it done outside.

00:48:40
Speaker 1: Yes, he was. No, we'll do one more and then we'll call it a day.

00:48:43
Speaker 2: Cain's lead seventy three, seventy by the way, thirty five seconds ago.

00:48:47
Speaker 1: Go ahead, Terry Miners. Oh, Terry Miners is on the line. Terry, it's a four point game.

00:48:56
Speaker 2: Come to mysie head, right, Why did you do that?

00:49:01
Speaker 3: That's just Terry and I are are little song sing to each other.

00:49:04
Speaker 1: Okay, that's this song on here.

00:49:06
Speaker 7: Matt.

00:49:07
Speaker 9: You talk more on this after show than Alan a guy doing a filibuster for four.

00:49:12
Speaker 6: Days in Washington, DC.

00:49:15
Speaker 9: Good Dolly, Miss Molly. We're gonna beat Florida tomorrow. I'm gonna beat Florida tomorrow. I don't know they're gonna win the Turner, but I think they're gonna beat Florida just as the way it is. But can I have like three minutes of my own show because it's almost over.

00:49:32
Speaker 2: We can feel time, you know what. I was gonna take one more call, but you do. You get to have a show. I take up most of your show yesterday and today, so I will shut up so you can go on the air.

00:49:45
Speaker 9: Okay, you are the best Matt Jones. But Ryan, anytime he starts babbling like that, just hit him upside the head with the pillins. Let you other guys talk a little bit.

00:49:56
Speaker 2: Come to my That's why don't wear talking. Okay, see now on, get you on it boy right, Thank you very much.

00:50:07
Speaker 1: There you go.

00:50:08
Speaker 2: Louisville is down three with twenty seconds to go. The Terry Miners Show is next on Whas for the rest of you, I will see you tomorrow morning ten Eastern nine Central. Pre show will be with Billy and Shannon at nine. I'll be back at ten with the guys live from ten roof Cats win. What was the final score, seventy eight seventy two. Close enough, We'll see you later.
