Hey, rain drops on today's episode of Reality with the King, Alexis Jansen. I are back to recap the latest episode of the Real Housewives of Beverley Hills and listen. 00:00:46 Speaker 2: Subscribe to my YouTube. 00:00:47 Speaker 3: Channel because if you're only listening to it, that's half the battle, because you need to see Alexis Jackson. If you nasty, because she has given me Rhythm Nation eighteen fourteen. 00:01:00 Speaker 4: That's hysterical. 00:01:03 Speaker 5: I did not go into my wardrobe today saying I wanted to pull out the Jana Jackson look. 00:01:07 Speaker 4: I did not, So this was all by you know, surprise, and here we are. I'm glad that you like it and you approve. 00:01:17 Speaker 2: Oh baby, I'll prove anything. 00:01:19 Speaker 3: Janna Dimita Doo Jackson, she is so little tidbit for you, alexis every gay boy grows up with a diva that they are obsessed with, right, Okay, So that's a little fact toy for you. So some for some people is Madonna. For the new gays is Beyonce or Rihanna, Nikki Minaj, just. 00:01:42 Speaker 2: As a whole less of people share for the older gays. 00:01:45 Speaker 3: But for Carlos King, the first my first love as a gay boy was Jana Jackson. 00:01:53 Speaker 5: So glad I could pull this out for you, then I like this, this is amazing. And hey, Carlos, the heteros have that Madonna was mine? 00:02:01 Speaker 2: Okay. 00:02:02 Speaker 4: I knew every head rose can have an idol also that they look up to. 00:02:06 Speaker 5: I knew every song, every dance like a virgin. 00:02:10 Speaker 4: Hey Toucho, Yes, no, yeah, So it's not just the. 00:02:16 Speaker 5: Gays, okay, okay, but yours is Yours is Janet minus Madonna. 00:02:23 Speaker 3: Which is amazing and a little factory for you that I don't think is bragging because it's not a good thing. 00:02:31 Speaker 2: Can you believe I've never been to a Madonna concert. 00:02:35 Speaker 4: I've been twice, You've never been. 00:02:38 Speaker 5: Except by the way she was over I saw her Okay, so get this is a little fun tidbit. So when Jim was courting me, my baby daddy was courting me. He The first date that we did was Janet Jackson or I'm sorry not Jana Jackson at Madonna front Row. And then the next night Prince was playing in La So we did front Row Madonna front Row prints. Yes, that was my that was the that was the way he brought me into his world. I'm going to tell you something, Prince off the charts Madonna. 00:03:09 Speaker 4: I hate to say it. 00:03:10 Speaker 5: I love you Madonna, but I think she was overturing and just did not want to do the concert. Her her energy compared to what Prince could bring on that stage was it was just it was not even close, you know. 00:03:23 Speaker 4: So there you go. 00:03:23 Speaker 5: You didn't miss out on much. You should have done Madonna like thirty years ago. 00:03:26 Speaker 2: Oh for sure. 00:03:27 Speaker 3: Like maybe it was she had was it a blonde ambition to her whatever? 00:03:33 Speaker 4: Yeah, yes, yes, yes she did. It wasn't like that on this one. 00:03:38 Speaker 3: No, okay, okay, it just hate me. I'm like, I've never been to a Madonna concert. 00:03:43 Speaker 2: But listen, you are in love with your new man. But I will. 00:03:47 Speaker 3: Say that's a good Yeah, whe's somebody. 00:03:53 Speaker 2: It was good. That was good. That was good. First me that that's Madonna, Ben Prince back to back. 00:04:01 Speaker 5: Yeah, front row, by the way, Carlos, it was not It was not just any seats. 00:04:05 Speaker 4: It's we were front row. 00:04:07 Speaker 5: Like I think I touched Prince's hand Madonna. 00:04:11 Speaker 4: I don't, we didn't, but I mean it was like it was epic. 00:04:14 Speaker 5: Yeah, so yeah, good, set your site's high for the you know, that's who you're looking for. You said, what set your SIT's high? That's your first dollar you want, that's what you want your first date to be, Carlos for the mister, that's the mister. 00:04:30 Speaker 2: Well, you know, in my life, I'm the one that gets the tickets to the. 00:04:38 Speaker 4: So true, that's me. That's my husband. 00:04:42 Speaker 5: Now, could buy me first row tickets too, Okay, yeah, probably private fliers and do three content. 00:04:51 Speaker 2: That is the way to go. That's the way to go. Listen. 00:04:54 Speaker 3: I'm glad we're having fun with this little intro that we're doing, because this episode has a. 00:05:02 Speaker 2: Very I know, alexis shaking her head. 00:05:04 Speaker 3: It has some very dark moments that we'll get into later obviously as we recap it. 00:05:10 Speaker 2: But this was a heavy episode. 00:05:13 Speaker 3: But a very much needed one, I would say too, because you know, it provided us a lot of context, not only hearing firsthand from Denise Richards who was going through her domestic situation with her soon to be ex husband Aaron, but we also learned a little bit more about Erica Jane that I think surprised half the world. But before we get to all of that, Honey, we first have to get into the ladies cannot stop talking about Amanda. 00:05:50 Speaker 5: Well, you know, maybe it's a good thing that she's there, and Amanda Hope has thick enough skin to handle it, because, like, I don't know where this season would have gone without her, Like she is a very crucial, critical needed character in this show. 00:06:05 Speaker 6: I mean, is my opinion, It's is at the point where it's obvious because listen to see Bowse and some and do a walk and talk and they're recapping their Manifestation lunch that Amanda hosts it at her home, and they're calling her out on the fact that. 00:06:23 Speaker 3: You know, she talks about how many bidrooms she has and you know, use to rent that particular house before Amanda bought it, so she's like, I know, how many bedrooms it has. And then Bose made a very bold statement saying, Amanda teaches people how to manifest money by taking their money, which I thought this again both this season is not the bulls I fell in love with last season. 00:06:52 Speaker 2: Bose is becoming very judgmental. And the reason why I'm. 00:06:56 Speaker 3: Saying that is because she's a woman who who presented herself to be somebody that is all about like women supporting women when it comes to businesses like girl, get out and do what you gotta do. You may not understand how Amanda makes money, but hear me out. I love Amanda on this show because in this day and age, Alexis, you and I grew up in a time where your nine to five was. 00:07:21 Speaker 2: Very straight and narrow. 00:07:22 Speaker 3: Teacher, doctor, lawyer, secretary, whatever the case may be. This generation of new wealth they're making Alexis, there's people making money being influencers. There's people making money doing speaking courses, classes. It's a new world. 00:07:41 Speaker 2: Listen. 00:07:41 Speaker 3: I own a production company and even I have a YouTube channel, I have a podcast. So there's different ways to make money and it doesn't make me less than and I feel like to make a bold statement saying, Amanda teaches people how to manifest money by taking their money. 00:07:58 Speaker 2: I I don't like that. 00:08:01 Speaker 5: I did not like it at all. It made me cringe, It made me think, It made me think. You know, that's one of the negatives about going on a Real Housewives, a Orange County show, or any Real Housewives show, is that if your children get brought into it, it's below the belt. And if it affects your business, it's below the belt. And unfortunately that comment that Bo's made could affect Amanda's business. Like, I just think it's off limits. It's like, we're all there's enough to go around for everybody, Okay, that's why we live in America. So there's no reason to cut down someone's job as long as they're doing something ethical and that's good and helping the world. If Amanda is helping people manifest and helping people find a better healthier way to look at money or whatever it is, it's like, let the girl go, let her work, let her do her job. You don't have to understand it, but let's not cut her down. That's I just feel like they've picked on her enough. And I told you this last week almost over it over picking on Amanda. It's like it's like I just want I just I just want everyone to find some other thing to focus on. And obviously the way that this episode ended is very heavy, and now there is other focus because we found out some info about Erica Jane. But yeah, I just I didn't like it, and I and I don't know Bo's last season, so I can hear what you're saying as far as like you don't see the same bows that you saw last season. But like, you know, Bo's did go through a lot on her body when she did all of this egg retrieval and all that. That takes a toll on you, and it does mess with your hormones, it messes with your psyche, it messes with your body. So she went through a lot, so let's just maybe give her a hall pass that it was. You know, she's still chemically affected from all of the drugs that were in her body getting those eggs retrieved. 00:09:48 Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, listen, listen, listen. 00:09:50 Speaker 3: I know That's why alex Is, you are definitely giving some grades, and I appreciate that too. I have a very different lens because I feel like what's happening is and this is why love recapping this show with you. I think bos is falling into the territory that most second season Housewives look Alexis Matha's Alexis you want to finish it for me or you want me to finish Because I. 00:10:16 Speaker 5: Didn't even think about that. I did because the show changes people. It does if you let it and you are like you are so right right now she might be getting a little bit bigger of a head than she should have and think and by the way, I don't like mean girl territory. I don't like it when the girls go into meantword mean girl territory. And I feel that maybe where Bose is going this season, So maybe this one will show her that she needs to back off a little and get her kind fun, bold self back that. 00:10:47 Speaker 4: Was last season and not because I didn't see it last season, but in trusting. 00:10:50 Speaker 3: Yeah yeah no, but but that's that's that's that's what's happening. And you being a reality start you know that most and I'll say second season Housewives because that's the show we're talking about. 00:11:00 Speaker 2: Second season Housewives. 00:11:02 Speaker 3: They turned into somebody who feels like, let me gang up on the new girl too, and let me try to forge this friendship with the remaining cast members because we're part of the cool Kids club. And it's funny because I'm going to give I'm going to give the props to the people on social media because I like to give prosper props are due. I didn't see it this way, but Alexis Janssen, even the rain drops at Carlos, you're missing it because I didn't recap this particular moment because it was after the season ended. 00:11:39 Speaker 2: But long story short, last season. 00:11:41 Speaker 3: On Watching What Happens Live when Garcel left the show, Bose and Erica Jane were on Watch What Happens Live and Andy asked them about Garcel leaving and walking off the set, and then Erica j made a comment about Jesus take the Will or something with Jesus in it, right, and Bows commenting on it pretty much joining in the fact that Garsela is gone, and I thought for that second, like, come on, Bows, you and Garsela had no issues that season. Y'all literally had like not one argument. So for you to join in on Erica, who has every right to feel how she feels because she was on the show for many seasons with Garsel So if Erica wants to clap back at Garsel, so be it. I didn't see it no other way. A lot of people saw the fact that Bows was joining in on Erica Jane shading Garsel as like, why are you doing that when Garsel you had no issue at all in this season. And I feel like what Bose is doing this season is joining in on what something wanted to be, and that is a part of the cool girl click gosh at a man, this expense. 00:12:57 Speaker 4: That is so true. 00:12:58 Speaker 5: And I do feel like, of all the girls are are going, let's just knock her down while she's down, let's all gang. 00:13:06 Speaker 4: Up on her. 00:13:06 Speaker 5: But I also think second season people, a second season housewives start self producing because they think, Okay, this is what the audience probably wants to see. 00:13:14 Speaker 4: And I think Bo's might be doing that too, And. 00:13:16 Speaker 5: It's like, now she'll watch it and she'll be like, hm, didn't work Maybe it's just go back to being myself and it would be you know, it'll all work out better. But like, you are so right, And I hope that I just hope, Carlos that we still have six episodes left. 00:13:32 Speaker 4: I hope that the bag on Amanda bandwagon is over. 00:13:37 Speaker 5: I just wanted to be, but I don't think it will be because you saw the They showed the trailer for the rest of the season last week last week at the end of last week, and they showed you all the way through to the end of the season, and it ends with the women bagging on Amanda still so And I'm going to tell you something. When you saw that scene with her and her husband, She's got thick skin and she's tough. She's just like, why are they doing this? Like they can't even come to my dinner party and like participate in something that I'm trying to do to show them more about myself, showcase who I am, and nobody wanted to participate, and I just thought, you know what, she's not playing victim. 00:14:12 Speaker 4: She's just like a few girls for not wanting Yeah. 00:14:15 Speaker 2: Yeah, loved it. 00:14:16 Speaker 4: Love that part. Go Amanda, keep doing that. 00:14:20 Speaker 2: This is reality with the King and I'm Carlos King. Let's get back into the show. Go Amanda. Go. 00:14:28 Speaker 3: And to give context with the rain drops, the reason why you're seeing the girls embrace Rachel Zeu so much is because Rachel Zeaul is a solidified celebrity and fashion icon, and that is who they respect. Is the reason why Kyle fangirl over Donna Karen last week's episode, because in Beverly Hills, it is all about who you know and the connections you have. So the reason why they're embracing Rachel Zel is because they're like, look, bitch, we understand your success and we can't knock it, so we're not going to go after you. But let's go after this woman who listened. At the end of the day, she made enough money to buy the home that you rented the problem. 00:15:13 Speaker 5: And redo all seventeen bedrooms and bathrooms. Yes, yeah, million dollar project at least just say it. 00:15:20 Speaker 2: Oh for sure, for sure. 00:15:22 Speaker 4: Least a million more to put into it. 00:15:25 Speaker 5: One Carlos, I don't care if Amanda makes her made her millions by by picking up trash and coming to get our trash. Everyone who cares what her reason is that she has She did it ethically. She does inspire people, which I think is huge and we need more love and. 00:15:42 Speaker 4: Inspiration in this world. And so can we get off of her case? Like who cares? You don't have to understand it. She's she's not robbing a bank. 00:15:51 Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't care. She's the only fans because the biggest this. Hey, Marsa Pippin, you know. 00:15:59 Speaker 5: She I didn't know, but okay I know these Richards didn't she was in this episode. 00:16:05 Speaker 2: Well, Lasa does her feet, So I don't want to see your feet. Hey they are. 00:16:11 Speaker 4: Oh you've got to you had something in it from your floor? Oh your sof No, but they do look good. Look at him, he's got groomed feet. Honey, you could be doing you could be doing only fans with those feet. You just had a pedicure. That's why you're showing them off. 00:16:25 Speaker 2: I love Look, alexis I yesterday? 00:16:29 Speaker 4: Your toes are shiny. 00:16:31 Speaker 5: They they buffed your feet taken? 00:16:34 Speaker 3: Tell no, but my fing is this once again. It's a new world we live in. That's how people make money. Listen, I don't I'm with you. I don't care what you do as long as it is legal. 00:16:48 Speaker 2: Like I just don't. 00:16:50 Speaker 5: I do care what you do if it's even if it's legal, if it's if it's hurting peep, if it's not a good, if it's not good, I don't like, don't bring more negativity or hatred. 00:16:57 Speaker 4: Into this world. Do something possible? 00:16:58 Speaker 2: Well, yes, because there's things. 00:17:00 Speaker 5: That are legal that are still not necessarily the most positive thing ever. But it's just like, stop judging, stop judging her. Next we want to let's do the next scene. 00:17:12 Speaker 4: You know, Like. 00:17:14 Speaker 3: Now, one thing that Amanda said that I holler at the TV screen, so as she's downloading her husband on how her manifestation party went, by the way, I think her husband's so cute, by the way, I think he's like so cute. I think he's like so cute, just like you know what it is. I think he's just he's so normal. 00:17:35 Speaker 5: He is, he's so normal, and so he's got a very you know, he's got a very gentle, soft spirit about him, and Amanda probably needs that because she's very strong and bold. 00:17:45 Speaker 4: But she's also got a softness about her too, I can see it. 00:17:48 Speaker 5: But she's also strong and bold and like she's the breadwinner and she's a workaholic or whatever. 00:17:52 Speaker 4: But you know, I do you know the problem is Carlos, he's hetero. Eddie's married, so you. 00:17:58 Speaker 5: Gotta keep your what what what dating apps? Keep got dating app on your phone because he is a definite no for you married and has a slew of kids. Okay, not in Carlos. I'll help hook you up, honey, but you're not. He's out of the question. 00:18:18 Speaker 3: I know I can't manifest him, so it's all good. 00:18:23 Speaker 5: Amanda already did, honey, and she locked him up. So you got to someone you can manifest his brother. Don't ask if he has a brother. 00:18:30 Speaker 3: Oh my god. 00:18:33 Speaker 2: Well we'll do our due diligence. 00:18:36 Speaker 3: So the thing is this, when she's recappinging him about what happened in the whole deep, Amanda said that, look, dere attach herself to a man for his well being and it didn't go well. Meanwhile, I made my money on my. 00:18:52 Speaker 2: Own I was on the gob smacked. Gob smacked by that. 00:18:58 Speaker 4: I was like, go girl, that's what I'm telling you. 00:19:00 Speaker 5: See a lot of characters that come in like Amanda or she's getting beat up every single time they film, would take the victim role. 00:19:08 Speaker 4: I will. 00:19:08 Speaker 5: I shall not name names in the OC, but we have a few victims in the OC cast, okay, And you know what Amanda did. Amanda is not going there. Amanda's like strong and she's just like, I'm not going to play the victim. 00:19:22 Speaker 4: And you know, de reit. I made my own money and you attached to a man. 00:19:28 Speaker 5: I was just like whoa, which you know what he was in all honesty, though, it doesn't matter if the man makes the money or the woman makes the money. I didn't, you know, I wasn't out chasing any guy that had money. I knew I could take care of myself and I was, you know, making a lot of money out of right out of college. 00:19:48 Speaker 4: So I was fine. 00:19:50 Speaker 5: So it bothers me kind of when people think that, like d I don't think durit was probably outlooking for someone that had money when she met Piku. 00:19:59 Speaker 4: I think you don't. I don't you do you think she's. 00:20:04 Speaker 2: Said my mama said, don't marry the handsome man in the room. 00:20:09 Speaker 4: But that is because no, no, let me tell her. Nope, you you better listen to me. Listen real quick. 00:20:14 Speaker 5: The reason the mama said that is because the cutest guy in the room or the best looking guy in the entire room, is full of himself, can probably not faithful, and is just has too much charisma, is what her mom's point was. Not because the cutest guy in the room doesn't mean they're the wealthiest. Some of the cutest people in the world are broke as a joke and living off her room. 00:20:39 Speaker 4: You know. 00:20:40 Speaker 2: But but let's have real conversation, because being he will keep it real. 00:20:43 Speaker 4: Oh, we will. 00:20:46 Speaker 3: Attractive women with the guy who is the cute is nine times. 00:20:50 Speaker 2: Out of ten is because he has money. Come on, Alexis, I don't I don't know. You live in the. 00:21:02 Speaker 3: Fucking Orange County where the women there have big moods and full lips. 00:21:07 Speaker 4: Okay, well you're describing me, Carlos. 00:21:15 Speaker 3: He fell out of his chair. 00:21:19 Speaker 4: He just fell out of his chair. 00:21:20 Speaker 5: Although, Carlos, let's look at let's let's do a little homage to my breast. 00:21:23 Speaker 2: Look how would I went down? See listen, your press look amazing? Is less? 00:21:30 Speaker 4: Oh good god, thank god. Listen, Beverly Hills down like mine. 00:21:34 Speaker 2: Let me show you mine. Okay, so look, your breast actually sits. I'm gonna show you. That's why you guys have to subscribe to YouTube. Okay, your breath. 00:21:43 Speaker 7: You just saw lexuses boobs and now Carlos is okay, Carlos, you are are you are you doing any are you doing any peptides? 00:21:58 Speaker 2: What's that? 00:21:59 Speaker 4: The l G LP one or GP? 00:22:01 Speaker 2: Oh my god, I am not you diet paled drug? 00:22:07 Speaker 4: God, I'm not on it. 00:22:08 Speaker 5: I'm probably the only person in Orange County at all that's not on it. I would not put that in my body unless I have diabetes. 00:22:14 Speaker 4: Thank you Jesus for not having that. 00:22:15 Speaker 5: But I just wondered if you are because you are, you're banging. Your body's banging. 00:22:20 Speaker 2: Thank you. 00:22:21 Speaker 3: Listen, I have to make sure that I'm not the ugly guy in the room. 00:22:29 Speaker 4: Well, the good news is you have money and you got there. You go, you don't have to worry. 00:22:34 Speaker 2: Praise the Lord. 00:22:37 Speaker 4: God. 00:22:39 Speaker 2: Okay, but so go ahead and Finnish. 00:22:42 Speaker 3: So the thing with what were your thoughts on the fact that you Okay, so you were saying you don't think that the rep marries for money? 00:22:51 Speaker 5: Go ahead, I I honestly don't. I mean, I think we've pretty much cleared this. I don't think that. I mean, I've never gone on a date looking to see how big their bank account is. Because I know that Alexis Dietrich is my maiden name, will just call me that Alexis Dietrich will find for herself and find a way and be successful on my own. So I don't feel like Durit is doing that. Like I don't know why you are so stuck on that. I mean, she had children with PK. They were together for a long time. I think that when when you first started watching, don't you think they were in love? 00:23:28 Speaker 4: Like, did you? 00:23:30 Speaker 2: I think this? I think this, I think this. I definitely think. 00:23:36 Speaker 3: They were both in love with each other for sure, and I'm never going to deny that. And I the beauty of their relationship to me was they were a team, you know, like as as married couples should be. 00:23:49 Speaker 2: But I definitely this. 00:23:51 Speaker 3: Is Look I've seen old photos of the read five she was, she was still a good looking woman. The thing is, I think Durre was just somebody who decided to date the guy who was the most attractive room and she and he had he was successful. And but with that being said, I will stand on the fact that she did fall in love with him. 00:24:23 Speaker 2: I do believe that. I agree. 00:24:26 Speaker 5: So that's why I'm saying, that's why I don't think that she said, Okay, I need to see what's in your well's Fargo account before she went on her second date. I mean, I you do think she she's like, if you buy me this, Louis, I'll go on the second date. 00:24:44 Speaker 3: I definitely think by date three, she was like, Okay, now what is the what is them her time in funds? Looking like what is your ABA number? 00:24:55 Speaker 2: Like? What what has happened? 00:24:56 Speaker 4: Again? 00:25:03 Speaker 2: Just let you know. 00:25:05 Speaker 3: One of the things that speaking of the read the idea, love this episode, Kyle buckle up. 00:25:11 Speaker 2: I feel like. 00:25:14 Speaker 3: Rachel Zell is coming for your centered Diamond. 00:25:19 Speaker 5: You said this last week, Carlos, And you know you've made some premonitions in this short two years of working together that you've made and that have been one hundred percent true. So I'm very curious to see how this plays out. 00:25:34 Speaker 4: I'm hoping you're wrong. To be honest, I love Kyle obviously I know, and. 00:25:38 Speaker 5: I love Rachel. I love both, but so I just hope you're wrong. I hope that there's a kumbayab but I think you might. You might have some substance to you what you're saying. 00:25:47 Speaker 3: Yeah, and I think this, And the reason why I say centered diamond is because, look, I think this is why you can never get comfortable. Rachel Zel and rain Jobs. Let me know the cont what you think Rachelseeau has this calming spirit similar to Kyle and what I did not know about Rachel Zel because I did watch the Rachel Zau projects for seven seasons. She always appeared to be very serious, which which which which Listen, the show was about her business, so she should be. But my point is she never let her hair. Now I never saw she was never fun on the show. She was always she had her moments, but she was never fun. Rachel's Zau was so much fun in this episode, the way she's able to make fun of herself, saying, We're at the same age as you guys, and I'm gonna go after bradhad and I want to see Kyle do this split and we have a good girl's time. She's everything you want from a new housewife in terms of the access, to the success, to go to to go to the. 00:26:55 Speaker 2: Hamptons and dery girl. 00:26:59 Speaker 3: The fact that you did want to put in her wristband because I guess you thought I'm DURIEK Kimsley and I shouldn't wear one. 00:27:05 Speaker 2: Can I put in my purse? Girl? 00:27:07 Speaker 3: Let's be clear, you should be happy you're here because you wouldn't be invited if it wasn't for fucking Rachel Zoel. 00:27:12 Speaker 2: But I digress. 00:27:13 Speaker 3: Rachel Zoe being able to just show us fun and to be able to bring up stuff like Erica Jane's situation and say I texted her and she responded, she's everything that Kyle is. But Rachel has these amazing connections and I just think she is She's becoming somebody that. 00:27:39 Speaker 2: Could possibly dethrone Kyle. 00:27:47 Speaker 5: Wow, We'll let me give you a little insight from last week's Watch What Happens Live? That I learned about Rachel from Andy Cohen is that she he said to her, because I didn't watch the Rachel Zoe projects. I told you that I might have maybe I saw on or something, but I was in the thick of children and babies and raising everybody at that point, so strict schedule, had zero time to watch TV. Oh and filming a Housewives show, by the way, so very little time to film or to watch TV. However, he asked Rachel last week on Watch What Happens Live? 00:28:15 Speaker 4: He said, do was. 00:28:17 Speaker 5: It harder to film the Rachel Zoe project or Housewives? And she was like, well, Housewives is exhausting, but she's like, definitely the Rachel Zoe project. And he goes, yeah, because you're not EP of executive producer of Housewives, you're just a character. Where So what that tells you is she was helping run that whole TV show and do everything and it was all about her business. So she had to not only be a character, she had to figure out what they were going to film. 00:28:46 Speaker 4: To make the show even successful. 00:28:47 Speaker 5: And all that she has to do now is show up where they tell her to show up, like you're going to dinner with these two women today and boom there, you know what I mean. 00:28:54 Speaker 4: So it's like it's like it's different. Then it's different. 00:28:58 Speaker 5: She has a lot less headache on this, and I think I think every the one thing about reality shows is the viewers want to see every facet, not just one. So they want to see your work, you know, bulldog spirit. They also want to see the fun side. So you're right, it's good that you got to see that because you didn't get to see that on her Rachel's OA project, and here she is. You could see that she has fun and by the way, I mean she is all organic. That's the thing is like there's nothing, Rachel's not trying to do anything. 00:29:28 Speaker 4: She's just being Rachel. 00:29:29 Speaker 5: And it's that's Rachel's oah, Like she is fabulous and can have fun. 00:29:34 Speaker 4: She's all the f's. She's all the f's. 00:29:37 Speaker 2: Carlos, m h, I listen, she's. 00:29:43 Speaker 4: That's why you think she's gonna come and take the throne. 00:29:46 Speaker 2: So the thing is this, Kyle isn't going anywhere. 00:29:50 Speaker 3: And let's be clear, the only way Kyle's off that show if she quits, and I don't see Kyle ever quitting, But that doesn't mean that the show must not go on. I think Lisavannah Pump quitting and the show surviving and thriving, and her absence shows that no one is safe. 00:30:08 Speaker 2: And I just think Rachel. 00:30:09 Speaker 3: Zau has she breathed some very much needed fresh air into this show. And what's so fascinating about her is she's not the loudest in the room. You know she I'm gonna say this, and the OC girlies making. 00:30:28 Speaker 2: Mad, but it's fine. 00:30:30 Speaker 3: She's I love what she brought the way I love what Jim brought on OC her first season. Like she just came in and she was flying on the wall and she was just like, I'm just here being me right, And it's the reason why I remember telling Tamra like I like this Jim bitch, Like I think she's amazing, right, like jend is everything, because I don't like it when new housewives feel like they have to come in super strong, and I like the fact that Jen came in just being like, I'm just here to see what it is. Rachel Zeld, to me, has that same attitude. When Bow's first got on, Garseel did say Alexis that Bows reached out to her and said let's have lunch before they started filming, and she said, okay, go give me the tea, and Garcel said, get to know these women for yourself and I and and that to me is what should happen. And I think Rachel Zeld did that. And Rachel Zeaud is winning this season. 00:31:31 Speaker 2: I love her. 00:31:34 Speaker 5: Is she going to become your like by next season? Is she going to be your number one instead of Kyle? 00:31:39 Speaker 3: Am I gonna have to call Listkle will forever be my number one? Because I just felt like, in real life, Kyle is such a good person and call is somebody that I will be friends with because I just I just think she's This may sound strange, I think Kyle is just like a normal woman with an interesting life. 00:32:05 Speaker 2: Does that make sense? 00:32:06 Speaker 4: Well? 00:32:06 Speaker 5: And you just let let's be really, you just have a crush on her husband. You keep going after these hetero married men. I mean, I don't know I'm gonna get you over this, but we're gonna find a way. 00:32:20 Speaker 4: Carlo, Now that's not true. 00:32:23 Speaker 2: I just love Kyle. I'm like Kyle's niggas say that, I will, I will. 00:32:27 Speaker 3: Look I'm a call apologist, I'm teazy. 00:32:33 Speaker 2: But no, I really really do love Kyle. I just think she's so great. 00:32:37 Speaker 3: But at the same time, Rachel is always bringing it and the party's inhabitants really did display that they're having so much fun, and I think it's great. 00:32:47 Speaker 2: Now with that being said, we have to. 00:32:49 Speaker 3: Get into Erica Jane going over Amanda's house and again a Matha cannot catch a. 00:32:56 Speaker 2: Break with these ladies. Erica shows up, She's like the doors all. 00:33:01 Speaker 5: I know, it's it's kind of I told you, I'm just like so over it. But the good thing about that was I appreciated Erica so much because it's like I liked what Erica said in her interview. She said in her confessional something like, you know, I feel like these women are being too hard on her. So I don't remember it now, but something along those lines, and I thought, you know what, finally there's some person on this group of girls who's gonna actually give Amanda a chance. 00:33:26 Speaker 4: And it happens to be Erica. So I loved this scene. 00:33:29 Speaker 5: And even though she's complained about the front door, when they went out and talked, you could see that Erica is like trying to help her, you know. 00:33:37 Speaker 4: So I liked it. 00:33:39 Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, I think it's I think it was great for Erica to be like and I love Erica's delivery. 00:33:48 Speaker 2: We want to know about the cult? Well, didn't open your eyes? 00:33:56 Speaker 4: Didn't open your eyes? 00:33:57 Speaker 5: When when when Amanda starts telling you what she went through, I'm like, wow, And that's what the women need to see. I hope now the women after they hear all about this, because Erica is going to go back and tell all the other women or where it's gonna somehow it's going to get disclosed all the other women now next week and it's like good, maybe they'll actually have a heart for Amanda some kind of like she is just someone that's had you know, all of us have a ba have baggage in our past, some one of us. And now they get a little picture of what some of her baggage is. 00:34:30 Speaker 3: Yeah, I thought, listen when she when she talked about the fact that she was in high school moved to Florida where the church was met people was trying to follow. You know, what she thought was like this religion because she didn't grow religious, but somebody was interesting that when you hear about cults, what's interesting is oftentimes it is people who grew up religious, which is why they have this connection to trying to figure out which role they should go down. But the fact that she was like, my parents were not religious, and and girl religious, but she electively did this, but also discovered how they were controlling saying you know, you should date this person, married this person, and how they tried to isolate her from the family. 00:35:17 Speaker 2: That really just. 00:35:18 Speaker 3: Showed me that while she is going through something that I think a lot of people unfortunately can relate to. And it made you understand why she decided to take her experience and go the route of manifestation, because she wanted to find other ways to instead of seeking strict religion, find other ways with God. Like you and I both said, manifestation is really praying. But now it all makes sense to me. Why she decided to have a career in that path. 00:35:51 Speaker 5: Yeah, And I think it's fascinating also that she went off from her parents, like usually, you know, if you're in a religious cult, it's your parents are the ones that have kind of shown it to you, and that you don't know any other way is I mean, I think that's a lot way it works. 00:36:06 Speaker 4: I've never been in a cult, but so I think that that is interesting. 00:36:09 Speaker 5: But I also love that she could get out herself because a lot of people, you know, you hear that you read the books about the Mormons who are not all Mormons are a cultish or whatever. But you know, there's like two books I've read in the last three years that were about women that escaped that cult because they didn't want. 00:36:25 Speaker 4: The polygamy or whatever it is. 00:36:26 Speaker 5: And so I just think it's fascinating that she got the strength to leave, and that shows you exactly You're exactly right. She took the negative from that cult and turned it into a positive, into manifestation, So negative to a positive there you go. 00:36:41 Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, And like you said, my hope is that the other women saw this and are able to be like, Okay, we now got a full understanding of who she is. 00:36:51 Speaker 2: Is it a little too late? We shall see. I think it is, but. 00:37:00 Speaker 5: Way because you think you think the women have already assumed their position and they're not gonna they've already just they're in that category of we don't really like her and they're not gonna They're not gonna come turn back around. Yeah, but it's not in that Erica and Kyle are the only two that are kind of middle road with Amanda. You know, I think Kyle and Erica have a chance of actually liking Amanda. 00:37:24 Speaker 4: Please. 00:37:25 Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, I just think it's one of those things to me where it shows you that look when it comes to Amanda, I think the girl's mind are made up, and I think it's something that they are trying to just say, this is this is how we full about her, and our mind is not going to change. But I appreciate Amanda's story that I think it helped her. Now, speaking of the stories, Denise Richards came back and. 00:37:56 Speaker 5: This is where unfortunately our podcast is going to go. Yes, yes, it left me so heavy in ending that episode. 00:38:07 Speaker 3: Yeah, so Ray John's as you all may know, Denise Richards is going through a divorce battle with her this strange husband, Aaron Pipers, who she has alleged fiscally abused her. 00:38:22 Speaker 2: They showed a picture of her with the black guy. 00:38:25 Speaker 3: Aaron, of course, has denied all charges in terms of what she How the heck did. 00:38:31 Speaker 4: She get that black guy? I'm sorry, I. 00:38:33 Speaker 5: Mean I did get a black guy that that the internets tried to five years ago. And I didn't even know John Jansen's name, and they tried to say that he gave me that black euye that was from a boating accident, Like I had a black guy. Yeah, it's oh, it's all over the internet. So you know, everyone thought John beat me. He didn't even know me when I had that black guy. But I have an explanation for it. It was a boating accident, so everyone knows. 00:38:53 Speaker 4: I'm a voter. There you go. 00:38:55 Speaker 5: I like to do water sports. I like to have fun, and unfortunately I got injured. However, how else did she get that black eye? 00:39:01 Speaker 2: Though? 00:39:02 Speaker 4: Then you know, like yeah, yeah, I want but I'm sorry. It seems like I don't know. 00:39:08 Speaker 5: She got a restraining order against him, so, and it's not easy to get those. It takes you have to have some facts and some way to you know, so there you go. 00:39:18 Speaker 2: Yeah, it was tough. 00:39:19 Speaker 3: It was tough, and you know what was also tough for us to watch them play back some of Aaron scenes in previous seasons where he did tell Denise as he was leaving and grabbing her hand and telling her and of course I'm paraphrasing, but saying to her be quiet. 00:39:37 Speaker 2: Or I'm gonna squeeze your arm some more. You know, like you. 00:39:41 Speaker 3: Saw that, and you saw how he spoke to Teddy and Erica, and you saw the concern in Erica's face because and rightfully, so, what man should be talking to a woman that way? 00:39:55 Speaker 2: Like who are you? Dude? 00:39:57 Speaker 4: Also in a group's regardless of it's women are men. 00:40:03 Speaker 5: He shouldn't be acting that way in a group when you're at a party or whatever they were at, they were at in some kind of an event with all the people. It's like it's just too harsh, and it's like, who are you, bro? 00:40:15 Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, So all of that doesn't help his case in terms of, you know, the core of public opinion, because we have seen him behave in a way that suggests he is somebody that is capable allegedly of doing harm to a woman. 00:40:34 Speaker 2: So as she's talking about this, what is so interesting is. 00:40:42 Speaker 3: Erica Jane then revealed that she was going through something similar recently, and. 00:40:47 Speaker 2: My mouth fell on the floor. 00:40:52 Speaker 3: Not only was it a surprise to the audience, it was not in a super tease, it was not in a coming attraction. This was revealed literally just watching the show. And my reaction was the same as Sutton's. 00:41:08 Speaker 6: Like. 00:41:10 Speaker 2: Confused, what wait, wait, wait, hold up, what do you mean? Like I'm so. 00:41:16 Speaker 3: Lost by this, And then to a knowledge that it happened after Tom and she's like, no, this happened like recently, and we're just all like. 00:41:27 Speaker 2: What And listen. 00:41:28 Speaker 3: One thing I always want to tell people, and this is just me obviously watching tons of shows as a kid and as an adult of women unfortunately going through DV, that there's no face to domestic violence. There's no face to being the victim of domestic violence. And a lot of people do see Erica Jane as his tough, strong woman, and a lot of people don't assume that she would ever allow herself to be in that situation. But when she talked about the guy allegedly and I'm saying allegedly because again legal reasons, but although he wasn't revealed, but still how he allegedly you know, she said that he did it three times and the first time she was calm, and it infuriated him more. And it wasn't until she called nine one one and she was embarrassed because she is the mother of a cop. They had to go through this, and I my heart goes out to Erica day. Like, like to say, shocked is an understating it. 00:42:40 Speaker 5: Oh, it's yeah, shot, shocked, gobsmacked, unbelievably floored, like like all of it is, there's no words that can describe it. But it's also you know, I don't think I have so in my I don't want to reveal too much about my friends, but I do know two of my very very very inner close people in my world that have been through it. And it's like, you can't you can't understand it because I've never I've never had I've had emotional abuse. 00:43:14 Speaker 4: I'm mental, but I'm not from a partner. 00:43:17 Speaker 5: But I've never had a physical abuse, thank god. Well actually one time, okay, one time I had somebody hit me in the chest, but it was that done. 00:43:26 Speaker 4: Okay, after that, but I think that you. 00:43:29 Speaker 5: Don't know that that person is liked that till the first time it happens. That's why Erica was probably calm right the first time. And then you're also kind of like going, what the hell, how did I how did I not see those red flags on any other day with him that all of a sudden, now he's hitting or doing whatever he's doing that's abusive. 00:43:45 Speaker 4: But then it's like watching my girlfriends or friends try to get out of it. 00:43:52 Speaker 5: It's like they you do go back because you really think that they're not going to do it again. You think it's a one off, but it's not a one ever a one off. There's never a one off, you know, so, and I just think that's what's so scary. And I did not realize how prominent it is because look at Erica and Denise Boath just had it. 00:44:13 Speaker 4: I mean, domestic violence is real. 00:44:17 Speaker 5: Well, I mean when you listen to the date lines, because you know we're dateline people over here. 00:44:20 Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's a lot, it's a lot. 00:44:25 Speaker 4: So I just I left that episode. 00:44:28 Speaker 5: I'm glad that we had a little fun in the beginning, Carlos, because of this. 00:44:32 Speaker 4: Hour that we're going to spend together right now. 00:44:34 Speaker 5: But I just was so like, oh God, I'm glad they both are out. That is all I can say. And they have each other and now they can they can bond over that. 00:44:45 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:44:45 Speaker 3: And I appreciated the fact that one thing that Erica did say was that she reached out to Denise when she saw the images, and again I was like, Oh, that was kind of you to reach out to her. And then then these goes like you were the second person to reach out to me, and then I'm like, oh, that's again sweet until you hear that, oh you reach out too, because you're. 00:45:15 Speaker 2: Familiar with that. 00:45:18 Speaker 3: And I do want to ask you this because listen, I'll be remiss not to bring this up because there are people who are talking about this online and I don't have a thought right now, but I may as I continue talking about it. There were people, though Alexis, who felt like, Okay, they do feel like Erica is so private when it comes to personal life, that this was an example of how she goes through things and doesn't share it. And there are people who feel that way that this pretty much did highlight like they need more or from Erica in terms of. 00:46:03 Speaker 4: In the moment, in the moment of the reality. 00:46:07 Speaker 3: In the moment, in the moment, like and listen, what I'll say is this, and Erica said this too, something like that. I think obviously that's not something you said, hey, producers, Like so, I think guys give Erica some grades when it comes to her talking about that in the moment, right, like you have to really nobody wants to really talk about it. 00:46:31 Speaker 2: One thing we. 00:46:32 Speaker 3: Saw with former Beverly Hills housewife Taylor Armstrong was, you know, she was dealing with domestic violence in her marriage, and it was something that was speculated, but she didn't go on camera talking about it the moment it kept happening. 00:46:50 Speaker 2: It was years. So I do think guys give Erica some grades. 00:46:54 Speaker 3: That's not something I think anybody's comfortable talking about it in real life and on camera. So I wanted to at least add that to it in terms of people's commentary on that. 00:47:05 Speaker 5: Well, yeah, and you're right because even Denise Richards said, my dad said, why didn't you tell me? And so did a couple of her friends, and she goes, because I can't tell you that, and then BETA stay with that person. So when you're in the domestic violence, You're trying to think is it going to ever happen again? And I can't tell anyone because then they're going to make me leave and I'm not ready to leave yet. 00:47:27 Speaker 4: So it's like. 00:47:29 Speaker 5: Denise said, exactly what you just the point you just made, It's like, it's like, you're not going to talk about that in real time. It's after you get out of it and out of the cloud of all of it that then you can go, Okay, this is what happened. 00:47:41 Speaker 4: You have to be ready to leave, you know. And the average I only know. 00:47:44 Speaker 5: This because of one of my friends that has gone through this, but the average times that they go back. Guess what the average is, Carlos, What the average time you go back before you actually leave for good? 00:47:55 Speaker 4: What do you think that average time is? 00:47:58 Speaker 2: Twice? 00:47:59 Speaker 4: Seven times? 00:48:01 Speaker 5: Wow? 00:48:02 Speaker 4: Go back seven times? 00:48:04 Speaker 5: Is what the therapist told one of my friends who is and you know, because she she felt guilty and she felt, you know, like like why why am I doing this? And you know, she felt hopeless guilty all of that, and so you know, her therapists just said, give yourself some slack. 00:48:19 Speaker 4: Most people go back seven times before they finally leave. 00:48:24 Speaker 5: M M. 00:48:26 Speaker 2: It's terrible, it's terrible. It's it's and listen, my heart goes out to Erica. 00:48:31 Speaker 3: Denise and any woman who is going through that currently. It's it's it's a very sad situation, and it's it's easier said than done, and that is. 00:48:44 Speaker 2: Something that I recognize. 00:48:48 Speaker 3: And again, you know, there's no Pulster child for it. There's no picture of a woman who goes through that. And I applaud Erica Jane, who is private. 00:48:59 Speaker 2: Right. 00:48:59 Speaker 3: Yes, she's on the reality show, and we'll discuss that later, but I don't want to spend today dissecting erica. 00:49:07 Speaker 2: Storyline. 00:49:07 Speaker 3: I'd rather spend today giving her some love and ensuring that. 00:49:14 Speaker 2: She knows she's loved and supported by the two of us. 00:49:17 Speaker 3: And not only that that I applaud her for sharing that because at the end of the day, she didn't have to. 00:49:24 Speaker 4: Oh no, she could have just only been loving on Denise. 00:49:27 Speaker 5: I think she wanted to also let Denise know you're not alone, Like I think she was trying to be like, you know, I've been through this, and I get it, and I'm so sorry that you've gone through this, and you're right Erica could have just done that and left it at that, but then she decided to say and I've been there too, and it's like whoa. 00:49:43 Speaker 4: You know, it did make a good episode. 00:49:46 Speaker 5: It did, just because you get to peel another layer back from Erica, which is always interesting. 00:49:51 Speaker 4: She's fascinating. 00:49:54 Speaker 5: So I just hope that I hope that there's no more dark with these women, with like all the divorce us is going on, all of the fights with the ex husband's going on, all of the people that have been domestically abused. 00:50:08 Speaker 4: You know, it's just like. 00:50:09 Speaker 5: Colley, we need fun, fun ones back again, fun fun time. 00:50:13 Speaker 4: Let's go girls. 00:50:14 Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, So listen again. 00:50:19 Speaker 3: Another episode that really shed some light on these girls. 00:50:24 Speaker 2: And I'm looking forward to the next one. But Alexi Janssen, we have some fun. At least we have fun before we talked about this prior. 00:50:32 Speaker 5: Yeah, that's why I was like, I'm glad we're having a little fun in the beginning because now it's like I gotta go put on some gospel music. 00:50:40 Speaker 3: And I need to manifest my king. So with that being said, ray. 00:50:45 Speaker 2: Drops, Thank you guys so much. 00:50:47 Speaker 3: Alexis Jansen and I will be back next week for another recap of the Real Housewives of Belly Hills, Love You Alexis Bye. 00:51:02 Speaker 1: Reality with the King is executive produced by me Carlos King, produced by Lizzie Nimitz, and a partnership with the Lack of Effect Network.
