So when he opens the letter, it says, you know, congratulations Faser, you're part of a Jordan brand. So he he like he lost it, like he bought it.

I'm gonna go to Aaron Boone and tell him to take me out the line of myself. It's just it'd be all right, like just like it's okay.

You remember how he was always out.

There was a thing where Nike guy started doing this and Nike was cutting them because he wasn't safe because they were putting their shoes on the cleats on shoes that weren't meant to have cleats on, and they were worried about someone hurting an ankle or a leg.

Speaker 1: I know that if we were just talking. I was talking to Allie about that. She's a big mess fan obviously from MGM. But both teams at the same time are playing like they're you know, they started off really good. Both teams were in first and then all of a sudden, you know, for the match, the starting pitching hasn't been as good as they wanted. They had big injuries with Cannon and Senga, and the Yankees they just stop hitting all of a sudden. I remember covering the k C game and they score. First couple of games they score like ten runs, eight runs. Then after that, I kid you now, like they went one run and then they went to Boston and the Bats went complete silence. Bullpen's been struggling last couple, like last couple of weeks. I think both teams hit a rough patch. But you know that's a long season. You play one hundred and sixty two. Good thing that they started off so well that they could kind of withstand some of this, but you know it helps that the break is coming, and then you have to trade deadline, so now you know it's like you can't just stand pass. You got to make something happen, whether it's getting a starting pitcher for the Yankees or maybe adding some relief death in the bullpen for the Yankees, starting for the Mets, And you know kind of figure that part out.

Speaker 1: I mean, obviously, when when you're not playing as good, Uh, you know that feeling in the clubhouse. Uh, at times it's not as enjoyable, but but you know, it's what is expected. Right for me, I grew up playing in a big media place, a big, big market with the Yankees and Mets, and I embraced it. Anytime you play for a team that you expected to win every day, I think that's the best feeling as a player. I've told people like, sometimes it sucks if you play for a team that you know, you have no expectations, right, Like, you don't want to be in that clubhouse. I think the Yankees, I mean, obviously they've been struggling, but they're still in first place, and I think it makes for good baseball when the division is kind of creeping up on you. I think a lot of people, you know, obviously not in New York, they want as much distance as you want, but as a baseball fan, you you want you want some of that. You want that closeness going down.

Speaker 1: Yeah, second, Yankee fans are definitely you know, any any loss for them is a big deal. So they're definitely panicking. You know, they want some moves. So but in a long season, you go through these things, right. But obviously as a fan, if you can have a big the big of the lead, that's just more comfortable you feel. But you know, it just shows you maybe you have to make big move here to make sure that for the Yankees they can get back to that that promised land, which is the World Service.

Speaker 1: So for me, obviously Homer, I I you know, Homer, you didn't even say the end said. You know. For me, I think what Kyle Rawley has done hasn't been done, so that shows a lot. So if I was to get a first half MVP, I'll probably give it a Kyle Raley. Obviously. For me, Aaron Judge, what he's doing, he just gets better every year, so that in itself is impressive. And obviously he's his average has dipped down, but he was heading over before and he's still heading three fifty right, Like what he's done every year has been pretty impressive. But you know, we've seen Aaron Judge forward with Aaron Judge. No, no, we've seen Aaron Judge phenomenal season before and this year is even a step above. But Kyle Raley, like thirty three home runs by by not even to break yet, Like I mean, come on, man, like you know you got to give credit where it's due. I mean, Judge is my guy, and he's probably gonna hear this and give me some slack, but you're not just being honest, Like I think is a close. It's close, but you know, if I was the vote, I'll probably put before you get.
