00:00:02 Speaker 1: Welcome back all our Bachelor Happy Hour listeners. We are so excited to kick off another episode of Bachelor Happy Hour podcast with you guys. Thank you so much for tuning in. We have such a good show for you. Because you all saw the premiere, you know how good it was. We can't wait to talk even in more depth about that and this next episode. So, as usual, we have so much to discuss with you guys, so many opinions, so many laughs. I mean, this season is not going to disappoint Peter. Seasons already off to an amazing start. There's so much to dive into. Becca, I can't wait to hear your takes on this. I can't wait to get this episode started because, as Rachel said, we have so much in store for you today, so much to cover. We are looking forward to interviewing today's guests because she's one of my personal favorites, as well as answering some questions from you all and giving our thoughts on Peter season of The Bachelor. We are now a couple episodes in and we have so much to cover as well as what to expect in the coming episodes. So without further ado, let's get started. I have to say it. It's hard because we're not together, Becca, and every single time we've podcasted, we've been in the same room together. Unfortunately, I have to be in my am. Well, I shouldn't say unfortunately, this is my home, but I am in Miami. I know you're in LA. But it don't worry Bachelor Happy Hour listeners. The show's going to be just as good because you know what isn't going to change our opinions about this season. All right, So I have to start out with the side. I don't even know where to start. Okay. So we interviewed Peter last week, and there were so many things that I wanted to say, and I'm sure you did to Becca, but I was trying to be nice because you know, when we do this podcast, it's you know, I don't I don't want to say that. I don't. I'm not trying to offend anyone. It's you know, it's not personal. It's business, and we do this podcast it's a business and we are giving our opinions about what we see and critiquing the episode. So it's nothing personal to the people that we're talking about. It's just analyzing what we see. Oh and I have so much to say about Hannah coming back well, and Rachel, let you start. Well, when we last spoke and when we were in the studio with Peter, it was tough because we had just seen Hannah come back. There was the whole two we continued episode, so it left us hanging, and there was a lot that Peter couldn't expand on when we were asking them all these questions. So I know you guys had a lot of questions and we did too, and we asked them to Peter. And we couldn't play everything for you guys last week because we didn't want to give some things away, but we did ask Peter some of those burning questions that you had, and so we're going to roll the clip right now so you can hear what you have to say. I guess my confusion is knowing everything that Hannah put you through, you know, and the story you just shared, which I get it, like, I would be devastated, honestly to sit and watch that knowing what you knew, that the rest of us had no idea that y'all had. Even had those private conversations, you were still willing to give her a chance to come back on your season and why, Yeah, that was Looking back on it, I mean, obviously I don't know if that was like the best call, but I would just wasn't at that point. Again, it was so early for me in my whole journey going on that I had no real feelings, you know, for any of the woman yet at that point, and I knew that, I believe me, I knew the backlash of this could all cause me asking to come back. Like I was processing that in my head as I was talking to Hannah, but I'm like, I have to fall in my heart, like I obviously still feel something for her. I can tell she still feels something for me, and I was willing to continue to possibly pursue that. Do you think a part of you too, because you know, obviously as your parents had last week, like you are a people pleaser. Do you think part of it was because you felt like it would be easier to say it, hey, yes, come back in that moment than to like sit here and see her cry and you know, feel like a heartbreak all over again. Did part of you feel bad where you're like, well, do you just want to give it a shot? Or was it did you truly still want to really explore what was there. I mean, probably a little bit of both. I again, I realized throughout this whole time, these last two months, that I really am someone that I need in order to fully move on, just because when I fall in love, I give my everything. For me to one move on, it takes that next person it does. And I hadn't found that person at that point, even though I really because I wouldn't remember telling everyone as I decided, yeah, like I would love to be the Bachelor. I felt like I was ready, and I wouldn't have done it if I didn't think I was ready. I found out a couple of weeks in I really probably wasn't one hundred percent ready at that moment. It was probably a little bit too soon from when I had broken up, And I mean that's why that conversation happened and it took place. So now that we've seen a bit more, we know more of the context of our conversation and obviously how it played out. You know, Rachel, I think you had a very firm opinion about Hannah coming back, and you were just kind of confused about why she did decide to show back up and where she wasn't her feelings and if she still liked him but didn't want to stay all of that, So Hannah hosting the date was it? Was? It a good idea? After all? I think, I, you know, having an XT come back, and I can speak to this personally. It's always very difficult. There's always so many more feelings that get stirred up. And I think in Peter's position being the lead, like he said yes to be the Bachelor, and he was so excited he wanted to find his person and to find love, and I think at that point he was like, yes, I'm you know, the door had closed with Hannah and then obviously you know it popped open a little bit when she came back out of the limo night one and then hosting and so um we Obviously I could put myself in his position and be like, oh dang, like I had my ex show up and like, what do I do in this situation? It's tough And for what did you do? Becca? What did you do in that situation? Well, totally different situations. When my egg showed up on our season, I mean that definitely, as I've said before, should not have happened. That chapter. For me had been closed, like locked, walked down the hallway close to another door. It was done. I think for Peter, since it was still such a fresh breakup, it was more difficult for him. Um Now for me personally, I like to leave the past in the past, and I think it belongs there for a reason, and so I give both of them props for walking away on good terms. You know. It's it wasn't obviously easy for either of them because they were years and I think it was good though, for him to be like, look, I'm still going to do this. I have a great group of girls. And for Hannah to still be like, you know what, I have so much ahead of me, I'm sure at that point Dancing with the Stars had been Yeah, did Hannah say that? Did Hannah say I have so much ahead of me? You know? Well, as we know, Richard, are you putting words it around? There is there are conversations that probably work cut. But I think at that point, timing wise, I definitely think she knew she had bigger and I don't want to say better, but big things ahead of her. Okay, So do I think it was a good idea for Hannah to host the day? Yes? So a lot of people keep messaging me and they're like, how much was this production? And was this really true that Hannah, you know, had these emotions and why did Hannah come back? So let me just say this. When you're the lead, it's like winning a paget, right. Once you win, there's certain duties that you have to do and kind of like you have to do a tour when you're Miss USA and go around to the States or whatever and do all these things, shake hands, smile, kiss babies, all that good stuff. Same thing when you're a lead. There are certain things that you have to do. One of them is you usually see the lead come back on the next person season. It just happens. And that's fine. That, yes, that is a part of production. What's not a part of it is what we saw with the emotions and what happen to happen after Hannah stepped off that stage and she was crying in that room with Peter. That is not production. That was real life. That really happened. So just to answer that for all the people who are messaging us, that's that. Yeah. And that's what I hate when people always ask like our things produce, like we're those tears fake. It's like everything that we feel being on the show is us in our raw emotions. Like you caught me crying thousands of times, Rachel, you cried, well a handful of times. You know, your lashes fell off. So it's like those are the real raw emotions that guess. There are certain things we have to go through and hoops we have to cross, but what we say and what we feel like, that's all real. And so I think Hannah in that moment, she didn't think it was going to hit her like it did when she saw him now with all these other women, and so you can't make that stuff up, all right, So here's where we start disagreeing. So I have a huge issue of what happened in that room, and this is why. And I'm going to use a word that Hannah used. It was selfish. She said that, she said, I feel like I'm being selfish. Well you are, and I did not think that that was the time and place to do that. I guess I'm stuck in a place of you stay. You have this platform and you stand up and you talk about how you know, you know where you are and you know what you want and you know what like where you're going and this this whole empowerment and you've overcome everything that happened to you with Jed, and that was part of the reason why you stood up and you asked Tyler out, because when you know what you want, you go for it and you know who you are, and then at the side of Peter, all of that goes away. And I just don't think it's fair to Peter, and I guess that's the perspective that I'm coming from. You had your opportunity not once but twice, as Peter revealed to us with their conversation on Afar, and then literally twenty four hours after that, you asked Tyler out on a day knowing that Peter's probably watching. Then it blew up in your face with Tyler, and whatever happened happened with that. Now you want you see Peter and you're regretting your decisions again. That is not fair to Peter. It's not fair to the people who have put their lives on hold to come and pursue some type of relationship with Peter. That's not fair. And I just didn't like that moment. I didn't think that it was fair that Peter is it's his time, it's his journey, and here you come doing all of that. You did, all that you did, and confusing Peter. And the thing is is it would have been different if Hannah had come in and she would have been very matter of fact, Listen, I made a mistake. I don't like the way that I handled it. I want you very matter of fact. But that's not what she did. She came in there and she kept saying maybe I don't know, I'm confused. That's not fair. Peter was very definitive when he said, do you want to come into the house, and then as he told us, I would give this up for you. I just wish that Hannah would have said, you know what, Peter, I've already signed a contract with Dancing with the Stars, so this really isn't gonna work. That's what really it's the wishy washiness, the flip flop, the confusion. It was selfish, you know what. Kind of reminded me of going back to Colden season, when you know, he jumped the fence, he wanted Cassie and she was still kind of wishywashy and wasn't quite It felt like as a viewer it wasn't quite all there, Like she wasn't all in. I'm gonna say ball's deep to like go into the relationship. That's how I felt like. This reminded me of like I was watching it and I was like inching towards the screen, like trying to pull more out, like why why? Like I wanted definitive answers, And so that really made me feel like when I was watching Colton and Cassie being like, what is it that you want? Like just be direct and be specific. She doesn't know, Yeah, and that's the problem. Don't come. Don't open this can of worms if you don't know. It's like, which I think that's what's frustrating. It's like which girl are you? Are you the girl who stands up? It's like I know what I want, I know who I am and I'm going after it. Or are you like a flip flopper? Which is what was so frustrating. And so my heart went out to Peter in that moment because I just thought, my gosh, this is so unfair, like you had your opportunity, like it's wait till after his season's over with. I don't think it was a bad idea though for her to do the date. It was a little messy. It was a little messy on production side to have her stand up there and talk about their sexual encounter and tell that story. But I thought it was it would have been entertaining if it just would have ended there. And I agree, and I think if the date would have gone as planned, it could have been really funny. And I think that was obviously what was in the productions mind is like this could be gold. We could get some really great funny stories. Obviously it did not pan out that way for me watching it, though, you know, we see Peter side of things. We obviously saw the girls reacting to Hannah showing up for me. If I was one of those girls though, on that date, I would have been pissed. I mean, it's like you put everything on the line, you give up so much for this opportunity to date someone, and in this scenario, in this setting of the Bachelor world, like time is of the essence, Like you need to really soak in as much time as possible with the bachelor and who he's trying to get to know. And I feel like it took away so much from his time with those girls that I get where their anger came from. You know, I'm not trying to downplay Peter's emotions, because if I was him, I would be very confused too, and I would need a hot second to kind of write my head around everything that went down. But those girls rightfully, so I would have been pissed too. I'd been like, look like I just moved across the country for a couple of months, potentially, like I gave up my job to try to date you like you always sat time, yep, yep. And I would have been like, it's not the Hannah Show. We already watched that season. Okay, it's Peter's season right now. I would have been extremely frustrated if I was one of the women, but I would have never shown it to Peter. I would have just held it within, you know what I mean, because, like you said it so well, Becca, time is of the essence and it's precious in these moments, like every minute is like an hour, and so as frustrated as I would have been, I would not have taken up my time with Peter to discuss that, right you know, I might have once said, yeah, today was a really tough day, how are you feeling? I would have reached out to him because I knew would have been emotional, but I would not have dwelled on that. Yeah, but I oh, oh, this is what I was going to say, did you my? I guess this is my thought on this. The girls that he put on that date were not as top girls. That's my prediction. You would not subject the girls that you're feeling the most about like that if you have the strongest feelings for on that date with your ex, would you. I would have never put on that date, I think. I Well, I think I agree with that. Damon. I also think because and I don't know if Peter did the same, But when I was when I was baud stored, I was able to pick and choose who I wanted on specific dates, and I would have put people who I thought like were tough and could and could kind of brush it off and blow it off and get over it quickly on that one, because I knew I would probably know going into it wouldn't be an easy one, and he knew he was going to have a lot of answers to give to these girls. Um, so I probably would have also tried to pick some strong girls. They're like Oh, it's fine, Like they'll brush it off like you know it hopefully won't delay them that much in their feelings and negativity. Can you imagine the disappointment though? You know last season it was like, um, Karen from Will and Grace and you know you've had Ellen and Ashton Kutcher and meet like on these dates, these first week dates, Kareem abdul Jabbar, all this stuff exactly, and then the lights come on and it's Hannah and you're like his ex, that's who's here on the day with again, pis be so fiss Well, Rachel, if you were I would have just loved to see your facial expressions. I think when the lights went on and you would have seen her, I would have I would have played it. I'm telling you, I would have played it very cool. I might have said something in my um interview, in my what do you call those Yes, I would have probably said something about itms. But I would have just played at night. But that still appointing for this. Well. You know what's funny too. If you watch that clip when the lights come on and they show Hannah, half the girls stand there and they're like okay, and then there's a couple who like jump up and down and clap, and I'm like, you know the girls who've watched the Bachelor and Bachelor before, who like all of the past contestants. And then, you know, I don't think that lasted very long because then she's still Peter away. But and let's be honest, Hannah looked like she didn't want to be there either. She was like, hey, ladies, well let me tell you, let me tell this. Damn when mal again, yeah, it was her birthday, and she's probably like, oh man, I just want to bottle of champagne and to shove my face in some cake. So one question that I had watching last night's episode was when Peter said that he was ready to be the Bachelor and then the girls questioned him do I was wondering was he truthful in that moment? And as he just said, he found out a couple of weeks in that maybe he wasn't quite ready, and that's just something that you have to go through in the moment. I mean, at that point, he was a couple of weeks in and couldn't be like, hey, guys, sorry, I'm not going to be the Bachelor anymore. By that's not possible. So I think I think he was being honest with himself. I think though, going into it, he was not prepared for what was about to hit him, and so I think the girls had every right to question, you know, were you truthful in saying that you are ready to pursue us, to pursue new relationships, to be the bachelor, to take on this major role, and to have all this pressure on your shoulders. I would have questioned him too. I totally get where they were coming from. Yeah, I think it's a valid question, and I think Peter handled it well in the sense that he was ready for it. He acknowledged, like I can only imagine how hard it was for him to face the women and tell them, Hey, this is what happened, this is how it made me feel, and I kind of need a moment to regroup because I want to be present for you guys. And I thought that that was really respectful that he did that. And then I thought it was respectful that he gave them the opportunity to vent and let them express how it made them feel. I'm telling Peter is really handling being the bachelor? Well, I think that, Yeah, the way he is with the women. The way he leans in, he's very comforting, he's understanding, he listens. I mean when he grabbed those flowers off that fence, that wall, whatever it was, and brought them into her I said, Okay, Rachel, that was one of my favorite moments, which we'll get too later. I loved that. That the fact that he remembered that Victoria had said I've never received a flower or a rose from someone, and that he then took that days later and remember that and made that moment special. I think, like you said, he's handling this role so well. He's doing the perfect balance job of giving and taking from the girls, like he's giving enough of himself, but also wanting to take from the girls and ask the right questions and to truly get to know him and to know them. I worded that very strange. No, we get it. We we totally get what you're saying. And it's so true. Now, something you mentioned, Becca was Champagne and so, and it was the perfect segue because I want to talk about Champagne Gate. I mean, who would have known that Champagne would be I mean, that Champagne would get a rose. That's basically the way I'm going to phrase it, because the champagne was was the twenty second girl in the house. Oh my gosh, I will say I love champagne, so I'd take my champagne very seriously, well Kelsey that you know, if I was Kelsey, I would be upset. But I don't think it should have escalated the way that it did this watching this back, I mean I was watching it with Garrett and he his jaw was just dropped. He's like, is this for real? Are these girls seriously fighting about this right now? And I have to admit Um, for Kelsey, yes, it sucks. She had been saving that bottle for a year. She should have probably just popped it open up. But does champagne age like wine, like fine wine? I don't know about that. I was dying to see the brand of it. I was like, what brand is this? You know what I'm going to be able to tell. I've never I've never been able to keep a bottle on the shelf that long because I love it, So I would have just popped it open right away when I got it for my birthday gift. But um, the way it escalated between Kelsey and Hannah Anne was just to me unbelievable. Now. I know, yes, it's a TV show and there has to be drama in these moments, but I think it was blown out of proportion. And Rachel you you know this like the ins and outs of the show, and of course when there's cocktail parties and rose ceremonies, the girls try to do cute things for sure. The lead the fact that there were two setups though obviously, like the girls can't go to a liquor store and buy a bottle of champagne, so they had to have help. I truly believe Hannah and when she says she didn't know, um, I don't think she would have been that malicious to go and be like, oh, I'm going to take this girl's birthday gift and pop it open with Peter and drink it all. But I also don't think Kelsey should have reacted in the way that she did. I think, you know, if I was Kelsey, I would have gotten over there and been like, well, you're drinking my champagne, so I'm popping into and you better give me a glass. Like she should have laughed it off better, because, let's be honest, Peter has how many girls left twenty something. Yeah, you know a handful of girls where he still wants to have fun and keep it lighthearted, Like there's enough pressure and emotion on him that he doesn't need to deal with girls crying over a drink. Yeah. I felt like, girl, do you hear yourself? Just take a moment, take a breath, and listen to what you're arguing about. We're talking about champagne. Champagne? Are you kidding me right now? I just the lack of self awareness with this group of women is baffling to me. I when I listen, Kelsey definitely overreacted. You're right, So, to answer that question, did Kelsey overreact? One hundred percent? It was champagne. You're a beautiful girl. You finally are getting your moment to talk to Peter, and you're crying over a bottle of champagne like it's it's a deal. That was a deal breaker for me if I was Peter exactly. And even before that, we saw her arguing with um McKenna about McKenna the blonde, Um, like the bubbly blonde that I think she's from Canada. Oh, she's the Canadian Okay. So basically we saw McKenna asked Peter for a moment, which, okay, we've all done it. We of course all want to talk to Peter. I totally understand McKenna pulling him aside. She kind of got upset with McKenna, being like, that's not right, but really, like that's the name of the game, Like if the game mcgainn I have the chance, she's of course going to take it. So I feel like her anger in the beginning of the night was even misplaced in kind of going at McKenna and getting upset at her for doing that, and then of course literally she just blew off. I look, I knew when Kelsey set the bottle of champagne down with the glasses and put the blanket there and made this cute set up, I called it. I was like, Oh, someone's gonna go in there and take it. You know, that's what was going to happen. I guess there's no way that, Like people couldn't see that coming from a mile away. I mean, they just amped it up so much. You know, she was so fixated on this bottle of champagne that I called it from the beginning. But um again, Rachel, as you said, it is champagne. It is an alcoholic drink. Like she should have just gone in there. She You know what she should have done is just snuck right in between Hannah Ann and Peter, grabbed a glass and just started drinking with them. And you know that's what I'm saying. This is like you said, it's the name of the game. It's it mirrors life. Things in life just aren't going to come at you and fall in your lap. If you want something, you have to work for it and go after it. So when you saw McKenna come in, then you should have been like, you know what, You've had your time, I'm gonna do it. I'm going to come in, or wait till they finished, be the next girl there and ready to take your moment. You have to go after what you want. Have you not seen an episode? It's just like it's just not going to fall off a tree into your lap. I just don't understand it. So I want to first start on your last point, Rachel, regarding the bullying that Hannah Anne said, what's going on now? I take bullying very seriously. I think that word should not be thrown around lightly. I think what Kelsey was doing in that moment was she was angry, she was feeling out words and her anger obviously was directed towards Hannah Anne. And she you know, was saying that she's a princess an x y Z. I wouldn't say that's bullying. I think in that moment, she was mad, she was angry. I don't think it repeatedly was occurring. I think it was in that one situation. Now, going back to how Hannah Anne reacted, I think she putting myself in that position. I think Hannah Ann probably handled it as best she could. She approached Kelsey, she tried to have a conversation with her. She asked, you know, for her to sit down and hash it out. And Kelsey in that moment, was not having that. She didn't want anything to do with her. So it's like, what was Hannah supposed to do? Keep pushing and pushing and pushing, I think, and we saw the conversation between Tammy and Hannah Anne where Tammy was like, well that was actually Kelsey's bottle that you use, and Hannah was Hannah Anne was shocked and like, oh crap, dang, I didn't know there was another setup that I should have gone to, Like she acknowledges. Okay, there were two setups and I went to the wrong one. She's not saying, oh no, I didn't do anything wrong. But I also think that in that moment, hannah An showed, you know, just let it go, let it breathe, and then approached her the next day or in two days or whenever Kelsey had chilled up a little bit. Yeah, if hannah Anne says she didn't know that, I'm going to believe her. She didn't know, Okay, so you just got to give it to her. Two things. I did have an issue with one. Kelsey is right. Hannah Anne never apologized to her, and so I am big on that if you see that you upset someone, don't continue to make excuses for your behavior. Just say I'm sorry you you know that was your take of it. I'm so sorry I didn't do it like that. That's she could have just said that. And I think that a lot of people thought that hannah Anne was condescending. I don't think that she was. I probably would have handled it the same way that she did. I liked how what she said. She didn't get upset, she didn't match her tone, she didn't curse at her. She just she was very matter of fact, and I think that to some people that rub them the wrong way. I didn't have a problem with that. I did have a problem that she at least didn't apologize. I also had a problem that she used the word bully. There are terms and phrases that continue to circulate in this Bachelor franchise. One new one is you feel like home to me. Okay, that's like a new thing that everyone is continued. The first time I heard it was during You Said It, Becca, And that was the first time I heard it. Now everybody is saying it. I didn't know. That's the first time I heard it. You feel like home to me. That's a new one. Bullying is now the new word people are using, and it really bothers me because I do understand Kelsey getting upset at that, because that is such a word that has such it's it's a trigger word, and it does get embedded in someone's mind. And if Peter has no idea what's going on and someone says she's bullying, well he's going to think that it's an extreme thing. Because and I'm going to read this definition to all the people out there who want to continue to drop this word and truly don't understand the definition of it. A bully is a person who habitually seeks to harm or intimidate those whom they perceive as vulnerable. What Kelsey did was an overreaction. She was upset, she cursed her out, and she was mad at one situation. That was it. If you want to say she was angry and she overreacted, fine, But to label her as a bully, and then it's one thing if you think that, and then to take that information and tell it to Peter and say you were crying all night because of it, that is manipulative. That is calculated. Now we'll say that you know exactly what you're doing and what the repercussions are going to do when you say something like that to a lead. And I don't think it's like you said, it is a trigger word, it's overused. It's like you said, it's not something that was habitual. It didn't reoccur. It was in this situation, one night, one and done. I don't think, and I hope it stops here because I don't want people to keep using a word. I don't want to. I cried myself to sleep, I was bullied. That's not the case in any situation. If you're ever mad at someone and call them names or whatever, like, let it be. But Kelsey didn't continue to do that. She didn't continue to call Hannah a bitch or a princess. It was in that situation, and I will say to going back to the whole was Hannah and condescending. I want everyone to take a second to realize, like, there are cameras on everyone, and there are people around listening to every word in conversation, and so it's hard at times, especially when you're put on the spot in a confrontational setting, to say the right thing and to react right away in a certain way. And so I think what Hannah Anne's words were to Kelsey, we're true. I think people were maybe taken aback of how like she just I think in that moment, like she was probably just felt awkward and star like, Oh my god, everyone's watching this fight go down. What do I say? What do I do? It's just a really weird scenario in this TV world. She handled it well, but she did, yes, and you know why she handled it well because her friend was on the season before her. I am telling you when Pete Hannah, Gee, they're friends, and I'm telling you when when your friend was on the season before you. We all know we'd be idiots not to think that that friend doesn't give you a roadmap of how you need to be in the house. They always do well, Raven and Tia, they always do well. When your friend comes the next season, they know exactly what to do. They give They literally would you not if your best friend was coming on the show, would you not be like, okay, girl, let me tell you exactly what you need to do. I would get all of the details. I would take their entire wardrobe. I would want to know everything. So I think the moral of the story here is have a friend on the season before you, so you know how to work it. Yeah. They they always go far. Okay. Another thing that happened that we saw in this episode was the Revolve fashion show. What were your thoughts when you saw that the ladies were going to do a fashion show so well, my first initial thought was these girls going to go shopping and get these clothes. But then I had to take a step back and realize that on my thing, you did that well my first yeah, on my first day with Ari, I met Rachel Zoe and got all these amazing dresses, so I can't be jealous. If I was told I had to walk in a fashion show, though, I probably would have like pretended that I had diary or something in sat in the bathroom because I would not have wanted to walk on the stage and tried to like strut my stuff because I never know what to do with my body in my hands. I would have felt so awkward. But that would have been part of your charm, like it at least would have shown your person You would have been like cute and quirky with it. I think you would have. You would have shined because your personality would have stood out. I would have loved this day. Richel, you probably would have won. You would have well, no, I probably wouldn't have one. If I was going against Hannah Anne, who's a model, well she's I mean bro. She talked about talk about an unfair advantage. That's literally like me being on a date. Whether there's a debate competition, this is slight work. I'm going to verbally murder every single one of you like that was. Of course Hannah Anne was gonna win this competition. I had. I'm sure the girls were already feeling salty from the beginning, knowing that they were going on a model we were gonna have to model against against a model, right and she killed it. She rightfully wants she did this also her profession, you know. But I thought it was cool. I thought the girl their reaction to Revolve cracked me up when they were like, this is what every girl wants, and it's like, no, I guarantee you, and I wanted to be like, calm down, ladies. As soon as you're off the show, you'll probably go on a Revolve trip and there's so much fun. You'll get clothes, have no fear. So for those who who didn't win, women, you will be set. Don't worry. Yeah, you're already winning exactly. So one takeaway from this this fashion show was obviously we saw Victoria f get in her head. She had a moment where I mean, I honestly didn't think she was going to go up on stage. I thought she was gonna just go hide in the bathroom because she's freaking out so much. Beforehand, she did come across as very insecure, but then we see her put on the trench coat with the lingerie underneath and strut her stuff and basically get runner up here. And so in my mind, I'm watching this all play out and I'm like, there's no way, Like she keeps claiming that she's insecure and she doesn't have that confidence. I'm like, there's no way you don't have that confidence like you are in your lingerie. She was fine. I think Victoria f to me, comes across as someone who was used to always being the girl. And she's of course beautiful, and so I think she just felt out of her element in this regard because she's against a handful of other gorgeous women who are all beautiful, who all have to start their stuff in fight for the guy. It's it was interesting to watch. Yeah, I was shocked and she came out in the lingerie, seeing how she was crying and stuff before. But what I will say, and this is the only nice thing I'm gonna say about Victoria Fuller, because some things about her have been brought to my attention, and I'm gonna preface this by saying I'm biased. I'm not going to talk too much about her, but I will say that when you I do understand the insecurity thing, you can be the most confident person, but still it is so hard. I was talking to Brian about this when we were watching just the first night. It is hard to walk in a room and everybody is stunning and gorgeous and has these outgoing personalities, and you can be the most confident person and it'll get the best of you. So I did understand her insecurities, and I thought that they were warranted. That's all I'm gonna say about her. Yeah, it's I thought. We saw a clip where where Victoria was in her head, but she was talking to one of the producers, and the producer said it perfectly. They're like, this is just you being you. This is you showcasing who you are to him, like you only get thirty seconds on this stage. Just be you, and that's you know, it's easy, like you said, to get in your head and to be like, oh my gosh, how am I going to stand out around thirty beautiful women. It's like, you just have to make the most of it. You And we've all seen the show and we've realized, like, you can't get in your head and you just have to go with it because that's when you will have the most fun as a contestant, and that's when Peter will also have more fun because he's not worrying about like having to appease you. And if you're not confident, like just you just have to know that if you're going to be on the Bachelor, you have to go with the flow and put up with some very uncomfortable situations. Absolutely, Who do you think has the strongest connection with Peter so far? Oh? Man, I think I have a couple. I'm gonna say though, Maddie or Madison, the girl who got the very first one on one date, because we saw in the episode. I mean, obviously they had the first one on one date. She's met his family, they had a great time. But you see they have a moment together in the episode where he's like, I really like you and I'm and in that moment, I'm like, Okay, he's hooked on her, like there's something. And what I liked about her on their initial date in week one is that they're having a conversation at dinner and she says like, of course I wanted to be me at the end of this works out, But all I want is for you to find your person, for you to be happy, and that reminded me exactly of how Garrett was on my season. He's like, you know, you could break my heart at the end of this. I could be crushed. But as long as you're happy, that's all that matters. And I think that takes a very big person to admit and say. And so I think those two Peter and Maddie or Madison, what does she go by anyone? I call her Madison? Okay, Madison. Him and Madison have something. No, definitely think Madison hands down light years ahead of everyone. Just the way he talks to her, the way he looks at her. They but really because there is such an ease between the two of them. And I saw it when she had um when she went to go see the family, and she was so comfortable, and it to me, it came through the screen. It was very natural, and it was like, I think there's a preview for later episodes where she says, I feel like I've known you my whole life. That was evident from their first date. So Madison hands dound, plus she met the family. I mean, it's hands ound Madison. That's That's That's what I'm going with so far. Okay, So we have to cut this a little short. I think we hit everything though, all the key important parts of the episode, because we have to get to our guests now, gotta get to her. She's itching, she's itching, wiggling up. So we have one of my favorite people in the studio. I recently called her Bachelor's biggest diva at this point because she was rocking this beautiful pink fur coat all around. But of course she's NonStop entertaining and we can just n get enough of her. So she is here to chat all of the juicy details of her upcoming cameo on Peter's season next week. Everyone, drumroll please, we have Demi in the house. Hello, lady, thank you for having me. I love hanging out. Well, thank you for being here. Demi has been listening to us chat for the past forty minutes, so she's been in entertaining, though y'all have been cracking me up. I'm surprised you've just been chilling so quiet back there. It took everything in me not to let out a cackle. We're giving it away, Demi, I know, right, I couldn't ruin it. So Demi, you have been watching now two episodes you might know more than we know at this point, but so far, what are your thoughts on the season. I'm liking the season a lot. I think the women are really funny. The cattiness of it all is great. I love the drama. I'm really impressed with Peter, Like you guys were saying, he is a very good listener, and I feel like he's really good at making the girls feel really comfortable. I know I didn't always feel very comfortable on my season, and I think he's doing a good job of making everyone feel really special. So I'm excited for him. It's really nice to watch. And so you guys are friends, correct, Yeah, I mean we're friends. We don't like talk every day or anything. But yeah, whenever they did the men tell all, he wasn't there, but he lives around here. So I invited over all the guys after that and I had a little party and it was really fun. It was nice to get to know him and he was so sweet. So my invite must have gotten lost in the mill. Oh that's really awkward, and I'm so sorry about that. So so far, we have met a handful of lovely women. What are your impressions on that and can anyone feel Demi's shoes? Oh gosh, probably not, but they will try. Didn't you ask that question on social media? You're like, who's the new Demi or something like I posted an Instagram and I said cheers to whoever takes my throne or something like that. Okay has taken it? No, not yet, but I'm sure someone will. But you know, my first impression is that these women are insanely beautiful. Whenever I first saw them, they were all stunning. It did feel like kind of weird, though. I know with my group of girls, we were so like everyone was so nice and so chill, and I feel like we bonded really well. Everyone was like cuddling on the couches and stuff, and whenever I saw of them, it was kind of this awkward, cold energy and make tension. So watching season, oh my gosh, I cannot talk. So watching Peter's season, I looked at Garrett the other day, I'm like, I don't think I could have lived with this group of girls. I couldn't. It just seems so different. And maybe maybe it's because when I was on ri season, I mean, he was a little bit older the girls on the season seemed to be a little bit older with me, I don't think. I mean, I think I would have probably been sent home night one in the Leader. But you know, you went through Colton season with a handful of girls. Could you hang with these ones? I mean I probably could. I'm pretty friendly, so I could probably get along with them, but I wouldn't want to necessarily. I mean I think that every year, of course, pretty much everyone is going on to yes, open to finding love, but definitely should be on a TV show. And this group of women, I feel like, is the most obvious that every single person there is there to be on TV. It's a different level from I think why we've seen in the past. That's so interesting. You say that Demmy a friend who shall remain nameless, I was just having this conversation with and we were talking about that, about how comfortable and how ready as a whole these group of girls seemed to be for the television screen. We haven't released anyone at least that I can recall this point that has been really uncomfortable behind the camera. I know that is so interesting. They're all getting ready for their influencer careers. They're gonna be pros and they get out of the show. Some of them already have that. I know. I saw some of them have so many followers already, look like they've gotta work for those. With each season, it's just gonna grow and grow, and like by Bachelor twenty twenty one, everyone will have like three million followers. It's I know, I'm not ready for that. My relevancy is fading so fast. It happens. You got like a six month span to really build what you want to and then grow from there. You gotta have a scandal and then we'll go if you're six months six months? Um, So okay, So Peter, you and Peter have connected outside of the show, You've been friends. So why did he ask you to plan a date? Very curious about this. I think it's just because I'm so fun and he knows that it would be a really fun date. And I would like challenge the women to like get out of their comfort zones and maybe intimidate them a little bit, you know, see how they handle all that. So DEMI next week, obviously we see you. You helped him plan this date? What went into this and why did you pick this specific date? Well, you know, there is so much tension always in the mansion, and I know that, you know, there's a lot of aggression, especially if you're having an issue with one of the other ladies. And what better way to let out all of this aggression than a pillow fight. You know, it's harmless, fun hopefully hopefully hermal scoring right, hopefully, and you know, it's just a good way to get out some of that aggression and have fun with it and show Peter like how much you want to fight for him. So did you have to pillow fight with Peter to get the ball rolling on this? Absolutely? Note, Let's be honest. I would never win any kind of fighting. We saw that on my season. I got my ass kicked in Vietnam. So yeah, I'm not a fighter, but I will gladly host a fight. Tell me I would be the same as you. I mean, like, I don't want to hurt anyone and it's just with feathers. So is there anyone about me Rachel would have won that one? And please don't hit men in the corner and turn quater. Let me just talk shit. That's all I can do. So is there anyone that you would have liked to pillow fight with on your season. I mean no, because I would have lost, But I mean I think it would be fun to like pilowfy. My friends like me and Hannah Brown would have had a blast with that. Well maybe one day. Yeah, pillow fights are fun. Yeah, yeah, like they could be a lot of fun. Even though Katie did beat me up in Vietnam. We would have fun doing a pillow fight now. Yeah, So would you like to plan another group date on the bath room? Did you have a really fun time doing that? Oh my gosh, it was so much fun, even though it was so early, Like I had the best day doing that. Um, it was so fun to not have all that pressure of like, oh my gosh, am I gonna stay? Like is he gonna keep me? You know, like am I gonna go home today? So yeah, it was fun to be on the opposite end of things. Yeah, you got to say best of all worlds on that one. Yeah. I would definitely like to do another date sometime. I want to. It's nice to be on the last side. Well, I have to ask you, since you got a chance to plan a date, you have to meet some of the ladies. Do you have any personal favorites? I love Tammy, Yeah, I like her too. I would say, Tammy, it's probably the most Demi esque at this point. Yes, I really respect her, you know what, the whole wrestling saying that was really cool that she bought her way into the boys wrestling team in high school. I respect her for that. I was like, Okay, Tammy, let's go. Well she and she also just she's like, she speaks her mind. She's funny. I think also too, she's not afraid to speak up in the house with the girls, but she doesn't ever do it as far as we've seen in a malicious way. Yeah. I haven't seen her be malicious. I've just seen her be honest. Yeah. Okay, So now that you know some of the girls, you saw Peter on the date with half of um, what do you think his biggest challenge in this whole process is going to be. I think it's going to be hard for him, Like the challenge will be to see who's actually going to be a good partner for him outside of this and who's not just kind of like you know, saying whatever they need to say and charming their way to the end with him. Because he really really deserves to find like true love. I know he wants it. He's a lover, So I think that's going to be the biggest challenge. It's just making sure that the girl has the purest intentions. So I thought you were going to say that his biggest challenge is Hannah. Wow. Well, I bet that's in the back of his mind too, you know. But I was going to say, you know, you talk about the girls and their intentions. Do you get that because you've now met them and planned the state with them? Or is this just something that you feel from watching them on this season so far, maybe a little bit of both. Also going through their social media, you can see how curated the feeds already are, you know, and all of that stuff. And I remember before like our season, none of our feeds are like that, and the social media is just getting so big, and I don't know, I don't trust anyone. Wasn't like, are you on Hannah Cheese season? Wasn't hers like that? Yes? And I was whenever she told I remember whenever Hannah told me she had like fifty thousand followers and we were like in Singapore or something, and I was like, what how, I was like, I've got like three thousand, And I felt cool, Okay, Jimmy I had when I started out, I had four hundred and thirty eight and we'll get you now. But it's still like it's just my dog and Garrett, like you know. Yeah. Um, one thing I want to ask, So, when I was about Shirrette, Rachel hosted one of my very first group dates, and when she was about Schlorette, she had Mila Kunas and Ashton could her host one of her dates? And Rachel, did they not say that they didn't think your husband was in that group when you were in that Shrette? Okay, yes, and he wasn't and he wasn't. And then Rachel on my group date that she hosted, also said, I don't think your husband is in this group, and he wasn't. Garrett was not on that date. I mean, he's on my husband yet, but we know that. So I'm gonna ask you, do you think in the group date that you hosted, was Peter's wife in that group? Uh? Probably not, Okay. I think everyone was like insecure and jealous and everyone was like really aggressive, and you know, with the pillow fighting and stuff. I didn't really get any any vibe from anyone that they were like I've got this, I've got this connection with Peter. You saw the fighters on the lovers, Yes, okay, everyone? Wait who was insecure? I mean I don't want to say insecure because I don't know, but I mean everyone was just very tense and ready to take down the other girl, whatever the cost was. I just wanted to know in this pillow fight, was there any blood? No? No, and no injuries, just hurt feelings, hurt feeling. Maybe there was some injuries, dang it, I wanted like a bloody nose or something. No. There, I'm surprised there wasn't because they were really really going at it. There was times where people dropped the pillows and they were just attacking each other real. Yeah. It was really uncomfortable. I was really scared of like one in particular. I was like, oh my god, thank god, I'm not knowing. Just give Sydney. She's terrifying why she was just very aggressive. I mean I probably would have been too, you know what I mean. I mean, I feel like I would have I don't know, I don't know. Maybe I probably would have like tried to be too cool and not I think like if you can like totally be aggressive with it, but make sure it looks like you're having fun. She had a straight face, like she barely said a word to me. I kept trying to talk to her, like, you know, and she was just eyes on the prize and the prize was taken down. The girl, man, I mean she probably was fighting for that time, you know what I mean, that extra time with Peter, that group Rose day. She's already gotten one. But you know, I yeah, she's I probably wouldn't have talked to you either, Demmy, I would have been like, okay, I wouldn't have. I would have probably see that was like some of the girls they were just like trying to chit chat with me the whole time. That goes towards what you're saying about intentions and like, didn't you know you're one of my favorites. But it's like, if I'm if this is a competition, which it is at the end of the day, then I'm not going to spend my time getting to know other Bachelor Nation people. I'm here for Peter, do you know what I mean? So I get what you're saying, because if people were trying to be too buddy buddy with me, it's like no, why why are you focused on me right now? You're exactly right. That makes total sense. That is why I feel that way, because, yeah, they were so excited to talk to me, and I was over there like, I'm I gotta go talk to Peter about you girls right now. I would have asked to not fight and Ben Peter's like water girl that I would have started a new role. I should have done that on whenever I had to fight on my season, I should have taken it Pullin's brow. Did Peter Pillow fight? Um, yes, he sure did. Oh I would have been fighting with Oh yeah, he actually a Pillow fought with this humongous man in the crowd. It was scary with Fred Willard right, Oh god, no, it was just this very burly man, just a random from the card. Yeah. I know why you said Fred Willard, and in my mind I heard Fred Flintstone. That's what I want to ask you a final question, because I don't know if we're going to get to talk to you again. I hope we do before the season's over with. But one of the things that Becca and I have always talked about is Peter will be a good bachelor because he's such a lover, and there's just no way this isn't going to work for him in the end, because I feel like he's going to fall in love with five women because he's just He's just that person. And I'm not saying that in a bad way. I'm saying it as a compliment. And I think when Becca and I've talked about this, we need that the franchise kind of needs to see a love story happen at the end. No more inanimate objects. You know, I don't want to talk about a fence. I don't want to talk about a windmill. Ladies, And if anybody's listening as you're moving through this journey, don't fixate on one thing and let that be the theme for the next person or for your own season, Like don't please, don't talk about fences, windmills, beds, the grass a treat, just not champagne. Yeah, see, just talk about Peter. But all that to say, do you think that this is going to work for him at the end? I do I really think that it will work for him. I hope. So. I think he's ready for it. And I mean, he's got a great freemas a crop group of women here and yeah, I think that'll probably find his wife. Maybe they won't be engaged, maybe they will be, but I think he'll definitely find his girl. Well, let's talk about wife and being a wifeee and wifee material. So we can't have you here and not play a game with you. I love games. Of course, we're gonna do a little something something. We want you to be honest, a little messy, a little petty, and um, let's just have fun with this. Okay, Okay, I love a good game. Let's go. Okay. So the game is called wife material or not material. So we'll give you a name and then you tell us what you think. Are they wife material or not material? Okay? First name up, Kelly? Mmm not material? Uh? I mean she I don't know, she's not doing it for me? Well, I mean she she was nice sight whenever I met her, but she wasn't really like that friendly to me. I don't know. I kind of felt just like standoffish. But then again, maybe it's because she was focused on Peter. I don't know. They did meet ahead of time, Yes, they did, so I got to look out for my sister in the law, so fellow attorney. I like her. She's wife. I didn't know she was in an attorney. I didn't know that. Well that's actually kind of maybe brings her up a couple of notches. We love a successful woman, all right. Next up, we have a Leia. I like Leah. She's very sweet to me, but too nice to me. Um, you know, I need somebody who's gonna make fun of me. So not material. Uh okay Victoria pe Okay, did you guys see her? What the glasses the first episode? Looking exactly like I got tagging like hundreds of stories. Everyone's like, oh my gosh, Dammi's back. She did in that moment she did with the glasses. I thought it was me. This is I'm saying she doesn't And this is coming from the girl who when I first saw these headshots, I was like, Oh, it looks like this celebrity or she looks like this celebrity. So I don't know. Maybe so yeah, wife material of course, and she resembles me. I love myself here for it. I like Victoria Pee. I will say I thought she was gonna have a slight Annaly's moment when she had the trauma. She couldn't spin, but she redeemed herself. I think she has a really good connection with Peter, so I would definitely say she did have an Annily's moment. I think she's gonna crack. I think something's gonna happen with her. I don't know why, but somebody's gonna bring a chicken on the bone and she's gonna have a breakdown. Yeah, maybe that's what it is. But there's something about her that I'm like, she's gonna have a breakdown. I can see it too. All right, I'm excited to hear what you have to say about this one, dummy, because I want to know is Tammy wife material or nut? Yes, we would marry Tammy yesterday. We love Tammy. She's great. She's so much fun. Her energy is amazing. She's bouncing all over the walls and like just doesn't care, letting loose. I love Tammy. So I like Tammy from what I've seen. I obviously never met her, but I think she just has more life to live, you know, for a little bit before she gets wiped up. Okay, she's successful, and she's successful. I like her, all right, Hannah ann Um, you know she's so cute wife, probably a good wife. I mean, she's kind of that person that you would feel really proud to like take into a room with people and like introduce her, like, oh yeah, this I'm this is this girl. I'm with her. She is stunning, she can handle herself. She's confident, wife material. I would say out if everyone, Hannah, Gie's probably like the most groomed for the wife material out of this. Did you call her? Had no? Rightfully? So rightfully. So I told him they were going through the bios. They're the same person, literally, same person. We have too many Hannahs, I know, And you know it's funny. I keep meeting all these fans who like come up to me everywhere, and I swear every single person's name is Hannah, and I always say the same thing. I'm like, oh I love a Hannah. It's like I think Hannah has replaced the Lauren because on my ri season there was four Laurens. I think all the Handahs are coming out of the woodwork now, all right, Next, we have Lexi. I don't know much about Lexi. Lexie to me, I feel like she's um, She's like very mysterious. She has like this she had the car the first time. Yet if I get the Corvette. She could be wife material. I like a redhead me too, like a lease stunning. Yeah, but doesn't Lexie seem very mysterious and like there's this underlying, like like sexiness to her. Yeah, she's very and calm, very calm, but there's just something there, Like I would like to see more of her because who knows. Definitely curious about her, all right, Madison, one hundred percent wife material. She is the foolest chick ever. Did you meet her? No, but just seeing her on the show, I guess I can't say that since I haven't met her, but the way that she comes across, and I mean just like her story, her background, she's so cool and yeah, yeah she's stunning. Yeah, I like her all right, Kelsey, miss Champagne girl. Gosh no, that was due dramatic for me to handle. Not material for me if you get that mad about Champagne. Yeah, Utah, Sydney, Oh gosh, no, I'm terrified of her. Okay, not material, sorry said Okay, Natasha. I think Natasha's wife material. I like her a lot. I like her too. I think she's mature, I think she's real, and I think she's funny and she doesn't take it too seriously. We were talking about for all the listeners. We were talking about Natasha before we started, and I think she is so well spoken and just she speaks her mind. She's very honest and to the point with Peter, but she also still has that fun like she can chill and hang but she can Rachel. I think like, out of all of the Bachelor's, Rachel has been probably the most eloquent. Oh my gosh, yes, and well spoken. And Natasha also has that like very well spoken aspect about her as well. Yeah, cats and rats, honey. I was about favorite life that Rachel. On the way here. She texted asking me if we could get a clip of that, and I was like, that was my favorite part of a night one Garrett and I replayed it a couple of times. Yeah. I like her. So she's wife material. Okay, what about McKenna. No, no, honey, sorry, you are twenty two years old. I got some growing up and yeah, not not happening. Not material for me. She's fun though, Like from what we've seen, it seems like a fun, bubbly girl. Yeah. Yeah. Which of these girls that we named were on the date we had Kelly Alaia, Tammy, Sydney, and that's it, I think. And out of those girls that you named, which ones spent the most time with you? I'm just picking your brain for insight. Well, definitely not Kelly, but she had eyes on the prize, so I can respect that. Um. Sidney did not talk to me at all. Alaiah was really sweet to me. Tammy was like nice to me of it. Tammy was also like doing her own thing, like she wasn't getting ready over there hyping everyone up like it was. It was good. I would like to meet Tammy. She's really fun, I guess will probably Alaiah like I sat down and chatted with her it um okay, yeah, all right, well, Demmy, we love having you here. We love your honesty, your funniness, just keeping it real and giving us the inside scoop. Since we didn't get to plan a date, maybe maybe in the near future, Becca, they'll have us plan a date. Putting it out there, it should be something about podcasting. We should do something with them on a future date. I'm looking at this right now down so about this or some type of debate and it's on the podcast would be so much fun. Listen, let's plant those seeds Becca, but no, Demmi back to you. Thank you so much for giving us your time, your attention and just everything. One last question though, before you go, Demmi. Okay, so you obviously did Paradise. Do you think there are any strong contenders for next Paradise? Um? I mean, I'm sure they would all love to go. Tammy. I think would be really fun to see in Paradise. She's got that fun energy. I'm just I love Tammy. Okay, Tammy stan Um, wait, would you ever go back? No? Never? Oh, one and done? Maybe they could let me be the bartender. That'd be fun. I'd take Wells's position. He needs to back up, he really does. They've done it time, Yeah, they've done it before. My vote is for Kelsey and her champagne bottle. Oh yeah, you know, you know she'll be there, you know in the the intro it's going to be her sipping champagne on the beach, or like chucking it, or like grabbing it from someone, or like having a champagne like message in a bottle wash up on shore. You guys, we could be correct, understand. Wait, are y'all hiring? I'm for hiring, actually just kidding Okay, but Demmy, before we let you go, we have to congratulate you on your glad Award nomination that you just received. And I think you just received this morning information that you yeah, yeah, that's huge to get that nomination.
