<v Speaker 5>made event previewing, predictions, emails and the like. So we've
<v Speaker 5>got a lot to cover today, maybe a voicemail or two.
<v Speaker 5>And it's a big night tomorrow night. As we all know,
<v Speaker 5>John Cena competes for the final time in his career
<v Speaker 5>in the ring against Gunther and a lot of speculation
<v Speaker 5>as to whether or not it's truly his final match.
<v Speaker 5>Is the Rock gonna show up?
<v Speaker 6>It's a big ploy.
<v Speaker 5>Is gonna go to wrestling any unlikely? I'll give you
<v Speaker 5>that right off the bat. I don't think that's likely.
<v Speaker 5>Not impossible, but very unlikely, But it also is possible.
<v Speaker 5>We have some big returns. Saturday Nights main event is
<v Speaker 5>not exactly one that usually warrants big returns because it's
<v Speaker 5>a kind of a baby version of an actual ple
<v Speaker 5>e and it's been very just wrestling focused and not
<v Speaker 5>so much about big returns. And they like to save
<v Speaker 5>that now for ESPN's versions of the ples. So Saturday
<v Speaker 5>Nights main event probably won't feature that, but I think
<v Speaker 5>there may be a surprise or two and we'll talk
<v Speaker 5>about that. Now, let's get into my predictions and then
<v Speaker 5>we'll do the emails and voicemails. That way, it's easier
<v Speaker 5>for me to respond because then we can compare our
<v Speaker 5>my predictions to yours. And again, if you want to

<v Speaker 5>done with John Cena, I think it's going to take
<v Speaker 5>a while to set in. You know, this is it,
<v Speaker 5>This is truly it. And I don't think there is
<v Speaker 5>a big angle of the rock because you know, also
<v Speaker 5>that would to me, I think really devalue what Saturday
<v Speaker 5>Night's main event this go around means, because how many
<v Speaker 5>people bought these tickets assuming it's John Cena's final match,
<v Speaker 5>and then if it's really not, that's just false advertising
<v Speaker 5>in a way that's not good. I mean, you can
<v Speaker 5>trick people into something bigger and better and you know,
<v Speaker 5>most of the time people will be okay with it.
<v Speaker 5>But if you're going to sell tickets and a lot
<v Speaker 5>of them based on the fact that John Sena's final
<v Speaker 5>match is going to happen in front of you and
<v Speaker 5>it really didn't happen that way, that's not good business.
<v Speaker 5>So I don't think the Rock's going to show up.
<v Speaker 5>I don't think it's going to be a big swerve
<v Speaker 5>where John Cena continues to WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 6>I don't think that's the case.
<v Speaker 5>So all right, let's go, let's talk about it. Let's
<v Speaker 5>start with soul Ruka versus Bailey. Now this match. If
<v Speaker 5>you don't know soul Ruka and many of us, if
<v Speaker 5>you're just watching the main roster, probably look at this
<v Speaker 5>and go who. I'm sorry, who the hell is this?
<v Speaker 6>Who is she?
<v Speaker 5>I've never heard of her in my life, and I'll
<v Speaker 5>admit I haven't seen much of her work either, But
<v Speaker 5>she is very good in the ring. Obviously, WWE has
<v Speaker 5>confidence in her putting her in the ring against Bailey.
<v Speaker 5>Bailey can make anybody look good. She's as good as
<v Speaker 5>it gets when it comes to ring psychology, when it
<v Speaker 5>comes to just being able to lead a match. She
<v Speaker 5>is a great opponent for Soul Ruka, so this would
<v Speaker 5>be fun. And there are predictions out there, and I
<v Speaker 5>really can't speak too much to it because I haven't
<v Speaker 5>been watching enough of them to unknow. But people are
<v Speaker 5>predicting that Bailey wins because Zaria is going to turn
<v Speaker 5>on Ruka, And I mean, I can't speak intelligently on
<v Speaker 5>that because I don't know the relationship between Ruka and
<v Speaker 5>Zaria enough to know if that's plausible, But I guess
<v Speaker 5>I'll maybe jump on the bandwagon either way. I would say,
<v Speaker 5>I mean, Bailey could win here, but this is, according
<v Speaker 5>to John Cena, about the future of the company. He's
<v Speaker 5>trying to make it not about himself but about the
<v Speaker 5>future of the company. And I mean, you would think
<v Speaker 5>that if that's the message you would want. You would
<v Speaker 5>want Ruka to beat Bailey because she's the newer talent.
<v Speaker 5>But even in a loss, she could make herself look good.
<v Speaker 5>As we all know, losing in pro wrestling doesn't mean
<v Speaker 5>you've really lost. If you are elevated in the loss,
<v Speaker 5>it's not really a loss per se. So I'm going
<v Speaker 5>to go just because this is more fun against people.
<v Speaker 5>I'm gonna go with Ruca beating Daily and not Zaria
<v Speaker 5>turn on her. Because also, I don't think people know
<v Speaker 5>enough about generally, not just me, but I think the
<v Speaker 5>general viewing audience that doesn't watch NXT, who doesn't know
<v Speaker 5>who these women are, if you see a turn, you're
<v Speaker 5>gonna go uh okay. I think if you have them
<v Speaker 5>on television, you know, and in front of the main
<v Speaker 5>audience longer, and you're able to give them some kind
<v Speaker 5>of relationship and understand why they're together and set up
<v Speaker 5>for a turn, I think that would make more sense.
<v Speaker 5>Even though there are people obviously that watch NXT, the
<v Speaker 5>casual viewer doesn't, so I think if you want more
<v Speaker 5>of a reaction to the turn, you want these two
<v Speaker 5>to be more established. This is their biggest pl e
<v Speaker 5>to date, biggest match because of the platform. So you're
<v Speaker 5>gonna have soul Ruka, I think beat Bailey, No turn
<v Speaker 5>by Zaria.
<v Speaker 6>All right.
<v Speaker 5>Next, aj Styles and dragon Ly take on Leon Slater
<v Speaker 5>and Javon Evans.
<v Speaker 6>This match.
<v Speaker 5>It could lead to a title change. I don't think
<v Speaker 5>so in this case though, because aj Lee and Dragonly
<v Speaker 5>are aj Styles and Dragonly not aj Lee, have some
<v Speaker 5>nice chemistry. They're really good as tag team champions. This
<v Speaker 5>is about just giving the newcomers here, so to speak,
<v Speaker 5>Leon Slater and Gavad Evans some kind of exposure. It's
<v Speaker 5>about giving them exposure in front of a larger audience
<v Speaker 5>on a bigger stage. That's what this is about. It's
<v Speaker 5>about showcasing what they can do and what better opponents
<v Speaker 5>could they possibly have than AJ Styles and Dragonly to
<v Speaker 5>do that. This is going to be one of those
<v Speaker 5>high flying, suicide dive reversal reversal, superkick City type of matchups,
<v Speaker 5>which has its downsides, but it's as this is going
<v Speaker 5>to embody the twenty twenty five This is awesome match
<v Speaker 5>for better or worse. How people define great matches these
<v Speaker 5>days is this type of match these types of wrestlers.
<v Speaker 5>So I don't particularly agree with that the way that
<v Speaker 5>the wrestlings perceived today, but or the way they presented
<v Speaker 5>today different conversation, of course. But this is about Javon
<v Speaker 5>Evans and Leon Slater getting exposure, having a really fun
<v Speaker 5>match with aj and Dragon Lee. They nearly win, but
<v Speaker 5>they don't. I think Ajle and AJ Styles and Dragon Lee,
<v Speaker 5>it's tough when you have an aj Lee and you
<v Speaker 5>have an AJ Styles, but there's also AJ Styles and
<v Speaker 5>Dragon Lee together, so that's why I'm continually saying aj Lee.
<v Speaker 5>But these two AJ Styles and Dragon Lee I think
<v Speaker 5>are not ready to drop the belts. But it's going
<v Speaker 5>to be a fun match. This is awesome chance. Probably
<v Speaker 5>fifteen minutes and they retain. Alrighty, we're getting closer now.
<v Speaker 5>Cody Rose versus Oba Feme, this one seems pretty straightforward
<v Speaker 5>to me. No titles on the line, there's not a
<v Speaker 5>lot of bill for this match. It's an exhibition, which
<v Speaker 5>leans me to believe that Cody Roads is going to
<v Speaker 5>lose to Obafemi. But more over than that, you have
<v Speaker 5>the wild card of Drew McIntyre floating out there, who
<v Speaker 5>is continually just in the in the side, being a
<v Speaker 5>thorn in the side of Cody Rhods. He's obviously not
<v Speaker 5>done with Cody. These two are going to have some
<v Speaker 5>kind of blowoff at the next big pl e. I
<v Speaker 5>think you're going to have Obafemi win, whether it's with
<v Speaker 5>Drew mcatyre there or not, and Cody Roads loses, and
<v Speaker 5>he actually should lose again, it gives Obafemi the biggest
<v Speaker 5>win of his career. He can claim a victory over
<v Speaker 5>the w WENO Speeded champion Drew Mcatyre can continue his
<v Speaker 5>program to a blowoff with Cody for the title, and
<v Speaker 5>you have Cody Rhoads again showing what he can do.
<v Speaker 5>I mean, there's not really much for Cody to prove here.
<v Speaker 5>It's all on Obafemi. This is a all the money
<v Speaker 5>is on, all the pressure is on Obafemi.
<v Speaker 6>It's not on Cody here to have a great match.
<v Speaker 5>And that's why I think I think it's going to
<v Speaker 5>be seventeen minutes, eighteen minutes.
<v Speaker 6>I mean this could go a little while.
<v Speaker 5>I mean Oba Femi, if you haven't seen his work,
<v Speaker 5>I mean he's more than a capable of having a
<v Speaker 5>longer match, and obviously you know what Cody's capable of.
<v Speaker 5>So this is a going to be about helping Obafemi
<v Speaker 5>get exposure. Like all the other young talent that's on
<v Speaker 5>this show, it's about getting exposure. Even if they don't win,
<v Speaker 5>they'll still hopefully come out in a way kind of
<v Speaker 5>a moral victory and gives him exposure in front of
<v Speaker 5>a larger audience. As I've said, so Obafemi wins because
<v Speaker 5>it doesn't really matter, and then it also helps Drew
<v Speaker 5>get some some more heat. So pretty straightforward there not
<v Speaker 5>not really even close for me. I mean, if if
<v Speaker 5>Cody wins, why what does that do for anyone? Even
<v Speaker 5>in a hard fought victory. Even if Oba Fem he
<v Speaker 5>puts up a really good fight, he kicks out of
<v Speaker 5>the crossroads like pretty much everybody does all the time,
<v Speaker 5>it's not going to do an Oba Femi needs to
<v Speaker 5>win this, even in a even if it's by hook
<v Speaker 5>or crook, he needs to win. Okay, Then we get
<v Speaker 5>to the main event, and I understand that this is
<v Speaker 5>going to open the show, which I think is a
<v Speaker 5>very poor choice. It's just a stupid, horrible choice. Because
<v Speaker 5>Johnsen it's saying I'll bow out, I want to go first.
<v Speaker 5>Why some kind of it's some kind of like false
<v Speaker 5>sense of a selfless act. It's like, no, I'm going
<v Speaker 5>to step aside even though this is my last match.
<v Speaker 6>Dude.
<v Speaker 5>No, it's it that actually is annoying to fans, like
<v Speaker 5>we don't I don't admire that. I don't think fans
<v Speaker 5>admire that we came to watch you, and especially as
<v Speaker 5>the fans who are there want to watch you in
<v Speaker 5>the main event, we're willing to wait till the main event.
<v Speaker 5>It makes it feel more special when you're going first again,
<v Speaker 5>it feels very much like a phony, selfless act that
<v Speaker 5>doesn't really help the other talent because just where their
<v Speaker 5>position and on that show isn't going to help them
<v Speaker 5>any more than it would if they were first or
<v Speaker 5>second or third on the mat on the show, Like,
<v Speaker 5>it doesn't do anything. So this is a false in
<v Speaker 5>my mind, just a completely false selfless act. I don't
<v Speaker 5>buy it. It's fake. I understand there's a lot I
<v Speaker 5>could say about John Cena, a lot of positive things.
<v Speaker 5>This is one that I think is completely just. And
<v Speaker 5>if it was truly John's decision to go on first,
<v Speaker 5>and it was his idea, it's just so phony.
<v Speaker 6>I don't like it either.
<v Speaker 5>It's annoying as a fan, especially if I was there
<v Speaker 5>in person, but even even at home, Like, no, like,
<v Speaker 5>I want to watch you in the main event now,
<v Speaker 5>I don't really care that much of the rest about
<v Speaker 5>the rest of the show. I care less because we're
<v Speaker 5>watching one of the greatest of all time compete for
<v Speaker 5>the final time. It by by law, should be the
<v Speaker 5>main event. I don't care about your selfless acts that
<v Speaker 5>are phony.
<v Speaker 6>I don't.
<v Speaker 5>I don't care about your some kind of self righteous
<v Speaker 5>action you're taking here. Just go on last. It needs
<v Speaker 5>to be last, you know, that's what this needs to be.
<v Speaker 5>You know, if you're all about being selfless in your
<v Speaker 5>final year, you would have exclusively worked with younger talent
<v Speaker 5>and helped them get over. And there was a lot
<v Speaker 5>of There was a little bit of that, but a
<v Speaker 5>lot of it was just nostalgia acts, which is which
<v Speaker 5>is fine. I mean, you want to see the greatest hits.
<v Speaker 5>But yeah, I think I've said my piece on it.
<v Speaker 6>So who wins?
<v Speaker 5>I think Gunther wins, and I think this is going
<v Speaker 5>to be a twenty minute maybe twenty five minute really
<v Speaker 5>as long as they want to freaking go match up that. Yes,
<v Speaker 5>you're going to see kickouts of finishes, as we always do.
<v Speaker 5>I mean, the the AA is about as effective as
<v Speaker 5>The Crossroads, although it looks a hell of a lot better.
<v Speaker 5>Gunther's gonna kick out. There's gonna be kickouts of power bombs.
<v Speaker 5>John Steen is going to do everything he can to
<v Speaker 5>to try to win. Gunther will eventually get him to.
<v Speaker 5>I don't think tap but pass out. John Cena will
<v Speaker 5>not tap out here. I know that it's Gunther's that is,
<v Speaker 5>Gunther's plan is to ruin John Cena and make him
<v Speaker 5>do the one thing he never did during his entire career.
<v Speaker 5>But I think it's going to be a passout situation,
<v Speaker 5>not a tap out situation. So it looks like Johnson's
<v Speaker 5>gonna tap, He's gonna tap. Maybe he will power bomb,
<v Speaker 5>you know, lock it back in power bomb. It's going
<v Speaker 5>to be like pretty physical obviously towards the end, and
<v Speaker 5>I'm going to see We're going to see a pass
<v Speaker 5>out of John Cena in the ring after a lengthy,
<v Speaker 5>lengthy choke hold. That's how I imagine this going that way.
<v Speaker 5>John Cena saves face, Gunner gets the legitimate victory. He
<v Speaker 5>can claim he beat John Cena in his retirement match.
<v Speaker 5>I don't want to hear as good as Gunther is
<v Speaker 5>and as much as I admire him, and he is
<v Speaker 5>truly a throwback and one of the few that is
<v Speaker 5>a he's like a man sent back from time to
<v Speaker 5>wrestle in twenty twenty five when he looks like he's
<v Speaker 5>from nineteen thirty eight, and that's a compliment. I don't
<v Speaker 5>want to hear him claim that he tired John Cena.
<v Speaker 5>But I don't want to hear that's not that's not
<v Speaker 5>because that's it's not true. That's not true. And if
<v Speaker 5>we hear that, it's like when you hear every year
<v Speaker 5>that the Royal Rumble winner beat twenty nine other men.
<v Speaker 5>No they didn't, especially if they came in, you know,
<v Speaker 5>twenty eight number twenty eight, twenty nine to thirty, No
<v Speaker 5>you didn't. You might have had a couple of eliminations.
<v Speaker 5>You can claim that you beat those men you eliminated,
<v Speaker 5>but to say that you obviously beat twenty nine other
<v Speaker 5>men is a wild overstatement. In the same vein, if
<v Speaker 5>Gunther claims that he retired John Cena, that's just false
<v Speaker 5>because John Cena claimed a year ahead of time that Hey,
<v Speaker 5>I'm going to retire in December of twenty twenty five.
<v Speaker 5>That'll be my final match, so I'm retiring wind loser draw.
<v Speaker 5>So the outcome of the match has nothing to do
<v Speaker 5>on whether or not John Cena retires. Therefore, John Cena
<v Speaker 5>and Gunther rather cannot claim he retired John because he didn't.
<v Speaker 5>He beat him in his retirement match, but he didn't
<v Speaker 5>actually retire him and force him to retire. So there's
<v Speaker 5>just quite a difference there. The distinction is very very
<v Speaker 5>sharp here. So I hope that the guntherer doesn't start
<v Speaker 5>claiming that now the wild cards, I've given you, the finish,
<v Speaker 5>I've given you the winner, I've given you Why I
<v Speaker 5>think that Gunther will win. And also it's very traditional
<v Speaker 5>to have the loser who is leaving the company or
<v Speaker 5>retiring to do the honors. It's very time honor tradition
<v Speaker 5>in pro wrestling. Not that TKO gives a damn about
<v Speaker 5>actual pro wrestling and it's sanctity and it's mystique.
<v Speaker 6>And all the rest.
<v Speaker 5>With the way they've treated pro wrestling and really defiled
<v Speaker 5>the wrestling ring itself with advertisements, all at the expense
<v Speaker 5>of the bottom line, you know, the way that they've
<v Speaker 5>created the unreal segments and show that I know some
<v Speaker 5>people love, but it is a complete desecration of pro
<v Speaker 5>wrestling and what it makes it fun and special and.
<v Speaker 6>All the rest.
<v Speaker 5>So it's not that they care about that, but I
<v Speaker 5>think if we're to go out and win, why, I mean,
<v Speaker 5>Gunther could claim that he beat John in his final match.
<v Speaker 5>That's something that's a pretty big thing to say on
<v Speaker 5>your resume. It would continue to build Gunther. If he's
<v Speaker 5>all about helping build the future, well, why would you
<v Speaker 5>win if you're leaving forever after this? So it really
<v Speaker 5>makes absolutely no sense for John Cena to win. It'd
<v Speaker 5>be a feel good moment, but it would do more
<v Speaker 5>damage than good. So there's that. But the wild cards
<v Speaker 5>beyond that are there returns. Do I think the Rocks
<v Speaker 5>going to return? As I've said, no, is it a
<v Speaker 5>Is it in our universe of possibilities?
<v Speaker 6>Sure? Sure, just as much as it.
<v Speaker 5>Is Eddie Guerrero coming back to, you know, to attack Gunther, right,
<v Speaker 5>I really think it's that that unlikely. So I don't
<v Speaker 5>think the Rocks going to be there. Does that mean
<v Speaker 5>we see Chris Jericho? Does that mean we see Edge?
<v Speaker 5>In my still my fantasy world of Edge returning to
<v Speaker 5>actually make this a triple threat? I don't think so.
<v Speaker 5>It would be fun. But here's the thing. If Chris
<v Speaker 5>Jericho or Edge return, and they return at the end
<v Speaker 5>to celebrate with John Cena or you know, just in
<v Speaker 5>kind of like one of those in ring all hands
<v Speaker 5>on deck, everyone in the ring to celebrate type of moments,
<v Speaker 5>like when Cody won at WrestleMania forty. If I see
<v Speaker 5>ed Chris Jericho at the end of that and they
<v Speaker 5>come out, I'm gonna be really pissed off, and you
<v Speaker 5>should too, because why would you be here if you
<v Speaker 5>weren't gonna wrestle? Like, no disrespect to Gunther, but hey,
<v Speaker 5>John Cena and Edge, especially if Edge is there is
<v Speaker 5>a much bigger marquee match than if John Cena and
<v Speaker 5>even Chris Jericho were to face off. If you're here,
<v Speaker 5>why aren't you wrestling? It's just like, here's what you
<v Speaker 5>could have had. But we're just gonna have him come
<v Speaker 5>out and just give you know, John Cena pat of the.
<v Speaker 6>Back, no right.
<v Speaker 5>So if Edge doesn't come out to make this a
<v Speaker 5>triple threat, I don't want to see him at all.
<v Speaker 6>Do I think that's likely?
<v Speaker 4>No?
<v Speaker 5>I don't Based on the way things have been going.
<v Speaker 5>As much as I want to see it.
<v Speaker 6>I doubt it.
<v Speaker 5>I'd give it like a three percent chance of it happening.
<v Speaker 5>Chris Jericho returning, I'd be less angry if he would
<v Speaker 5>showed up at the end, but it is still possible.
<v Speaker 5>I'd give him like a ten percent chance based on
<v Speaker 5>how I'm feeling and what I'm seeing on online and
<v Speaker 5>the reports and everything else. I think Chris Jericho is
<v Speaker 5>more likely for a Royal Rumble return that fits much
<v Speaker 5>more than just being thrown in the end of this
<v Speaker 5>Gunther John Cena matchup kind of gets kind of weird.
<v Speaker 5>So I think Jericho, if he returns, is going to
<v Speaker 5>be in the twenty twenty six World Rumble in Saudi.
<v Speaker 5>So that's how I feel overall. I think that's kind
<v Speaker 5>of how things are going to go again. To recap
<v Speaker 5>Gunther wins, I have aj Styles and Dragonly retaining the
<v Speaker 5>tag titles Obafemi beating Cody Rhoades and Solruka defeating Bailey.
<v Speaker 5>That's my thoughts. Let's get it from you guys. Let's

<v Speaker 5>Not Shane McMahon, but a different Shane says, thanks for
<v Speaker 5>the humorous responses on Larry. It gave me a good chuckle.
<v Speaker 5>I'm glad you found it humorous. Yes, I think the
<v Speaker 5>heat has worn off on my comments regarding Larry, so
<v Speaker 5>I'll just leave it there. Okay, onto a couple things.
<v Speaker 5>I'll point this out. This is coming from someone who
<v Speaker 5>loved the Rock when I was a kid, absolutely loved him.
<v Speaker 5>Tell me what you think in regards to the scene
<v Speaker 5>of heel turn and what was supposed to happen. I
<v Speaker 5>cringed at Scena's response on Chris Van Vliet. Essentially, he said,
<v Speaker 5>I'm not going to say what I really think because
<v Speaker 5>I've got no balls. Sina avoided the question like a politician.
<v Speaker 5>We know that he doesn't want to talk all of
<v Speaker 5>his boss, Dwayne, and of course the Rock's power not WWE,
<v Speaker 5>but Hollywood, where Sena relies on both. The annoying thing
<v Speaker 5>is would slightly annoying the Rock. Really, I'm not sure
<v Speaker 5>what you mean here. I think the sentence is a
<v Speaker 5>little bit misworded, but I couldn't see it hurting him
<v Speaker 5>in the slightest of He just said, yep, Dwayne decided
<v Speaker 5>against it. He had other commitments. Now I'm pretty sure
<v Speaker 5>I've gathered what happened here. The board, including the Rock,
<v Speaker 5>sat together and voiced an awesome plan where Seena turned heel,
<v Speaker 5>aligned himself with the Rock and possibly Travis Scott never
<v Speaker 5>want to hear that name again. The Rock probably looked
<v Speaker 5>like mister big shot calling out an awesome storyline. I
<v Speaker 5>think this would have been genuinely awesome, also making WrestleMania
<v Speaker 5>forty one kind of a sequel to forty in that
<v Speaker 5>Sena turned sides the Rock costs Cody and Sina wins.
<v Speaker 5>It also ties back to the Rock pinning Cody and
<v Speaker 5>Night One in the tag match of WrestleMania forty Okay,
<v Speaker 5>so I'll pause there.

<v Speaker 5>This is as you said, I don't think that he
<v Speaker 5>has no balls. I think he's just he is being
<v Speaker 5>the flag bearer for the company. He is avoiding the question.
<v Speaker 5>He's telling us who cares, meaning stop asking because it

<v Speaker 5>to do that, didn't really get injured that much. He
<v Speaker 5>was a durable, reliable guy. Yes, Taker is one of
<v Speaker 5>the goats. The reason I say Austin even though when
<v Speaker 5>you think about it, Austin was only on top of
<v Speaker 5>the company for two three years, three years from like
<v Speaker 5>ninety eight to two thousand and one, and then after
<v Speaker 5>that things kind of fell apart. The what stuff started,
<v Speaker 5>he got injured, well, he had an injury, but then
<v Speaker 5>he left, took his ball, went home, and that whole debacle.
<v Speaker 5>But by two thousand and two things were kind of
<v Speaker 5>transforming to brock Lesner. So Austin was only on top
<v Speaker 5>for three years. Taker was, you know, in the main
<v Speaker 5>event for the better part of what thirty years. Of

<v Speaker 5>of these people lasted multiple decades, Austin lasted just a
<v Speaker 5>few years. He retired at the age of what thirty eight,

<v Speaker 5>super authentic. You believed in what he was saying.

<v Speaker 5>hotter than anyone. He didn't last as long, like his
<v Speaker 5>flame went out much much quicker than a lot of
<v Speaker 5>other guys at the top, like Triple H, like Rock
<v Speaker 5>you know, as I said, Taker Kane, but he burned
<v Speaker 5>the hottest. There is no one, no one who was
<v Speaker 5>more popular and hotter in wrestling than Austin. I would
<v Speaker 5>say he was bigger than Hogan, and again Hulkomedia was
<v Speaker 5>a revolution, but for the time he was there, I'd
<v Speaker 5>say he was hotter than Hogan was even at his prime.

<v Speaker 5>Stone Culls of Austin was like. There is no one
<v Speaker 5>who will ever, I think, match that again, never never.

<v Speaker 5>Carmelo's match against dragon Off last week, the crowd continues
<v Speaker 5>to cheer from Mellow and chan his name. When do
<v Speaker 5>you see draggon Off dropping the title? And could Mellow
<v Speaker 5>be the next US champion if he gets a rematch
<v Speaker 5>in some somewhat a triple threat with Champa. Well, to
<v Speaker 5>answer your second question, first, I think Melow is going
<v Speaker 5>to be the next champion. Draggon Off is as good
<v Speaker 5>as he is in the ring. He's blann to the
<v Speaker 5>general audience because he doesn't really talk. You don't get
<v Speaker 5>much from him. You know what quality of match you're
<v Speaker 5>going to get, But there's no substance to his character.
<v Speaker 5>You know, he's just this hard hitting dude that can
<v Speaker 5>wrestle his ass off. But that's kind of it and
<v Speaker 5>there needs to be more now. Same thing with Jade.
<v Speaker 5>She feels flat because she still has yet to follow
<v Speaker 5>up with any good promo, Like we can't just hear
<v Speaker 5>two words from her. I just put this on X,
<v Speaker 5>but it's true that I bet you the number of
<v Speaker 5>days she's been champion is a greater number than the
<v Speaker 5>number of words she has collectively said since she's been
<v Speaker 5>champion and turn heel. That's not a good formula. You
<v Speaker 5>cannot I know she's on the right side now. To me,
<v Speaker 5>she's on the right team being a heel. But there's
<v Speaker 5>no follow up. That's a phrase that the company really
<v Speaker 5>needs to kind of take the heart on a lot
<v Speaker 5>of levels. You've heard me say that phrase follow up
<v Speaker 5>a lot, because you can't just do something and then
<v Speaker 5>not follow up with why this happened. I shouldn't be
<v Speaker 5>even having to explain this as most basic element of storytelling.
<v Speaker 5>But if you don't follow up and have some kind
<v Speaker 5>of momentum continuing with the choice you made, then bands
<v Speaker 5>aren't going to care. And that's what you're seeing with Jade.
<v Speaker 5>It's like, Okay, she's bad, now why should I hate her?

<v Speaker 5>Give me reasons I need to hear from Jade herself.
<v Speaker 5>See promos. I think talk people into buildings. I don't
<v Speaker 5>think necessarily matches do. And I'm not saying that the
<v Speaker 5>quality of matches don't matter. But to me, stars will
<v Speaker 5>always draw. How you make a star is primarily through promos. Yes,
<v Speaker 5>entring is important, gimmicks important, music is important. But you
<v Speaker 5>connect with the fans on a much deeper level when
<v Speaker 5>you're able to speak, use your vocal cords and connect
<v Speaker 5>with them that way. And Jade has not done that.
<v Speaker 5>And until they do that, she is not going to
<v Speaker 5>get any kind of reaction. I don't care how many
<v Speaker 5>Instagram photos she puts up, how chiseled her abs are,
<v Speaker 5>how muscular she looks, whatever, she can do that, until
<v Speaker 5>the end of time, she will not be able to
<v Speaker 5>connect with the crowd any more than if she were
<v Speaker 5>able to actually speak with them. The connection is not
<v Speaker 5>going to get deeper because her abs get more chiseled.
<v Speaker 5>That's not the equation here, despite what she wants to
<v Speaker 5>believe or thinks it should be.

<v Speaker 2>Hardy Boys retained. Afterward, we saw Jeff Hardy deliver a
<v Speaker 2>Swanta Bob Tyson at one two three. The Hardy Boys
<v Speaker 2>continue their run as the TNA World Tag Team Champions.

<v Speaker 2>NXC outsiders coming to the ring and attacking all the
<v Speaker 2>members of the System. The System were alongside JDC as
<v Speaker 2>they were at ringside Lexus King as he was about
<v Speaker 2>to set the TENA logo on fire. All of a sudden,
<v Speaker 2>here comes Steve Macklin, Mike Santan and the Hardy Boys
<v Speaker 2>to make the save as we have a full our
<v Speaker 2>brawl between NXT and TNA. But then we get the
<v Speaker 2>Director of Authority, mister Santina Morella, as he comes to
<v Speaker 2>try to separate these two groups, but he gets knocked
<v Speaker 2>it out by his own son.
<v Speaker 4>In law. That's right, Stax.
<v Speaker 2>Stax is Santino's son in law because he is connected
<v Speaker 2>with Ariana Grace. So Stax knocks out Santinorella and that
<v Speaker 2>is how the show ends with this bra continuing between
<v Speaker 2>NXT versus TNA as there's something big on the horizon
<v Speaker 2>for the next episode of TENA for Wrestling. Now, let's
<v Speaker 2>get to Joe Hendry as since we were in Texas
<v Speaker 2>for NXT Deadline in San Antonio, Joe Hendry was included
<v Speaker 2>in the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge match which included Javon Evans,
<v Speaker 2>Joe Hendry, Milesbourne, Dian Nix of Dark State, and TNA's
<v Speaker 2>Leon Slater. This match lasted twenty five minutes.
<v Speaker 4>And was the main event. But what opened the show
<v Speaker 4>was the nxty Championship match of Obafemi versus Ricky Saints,
<v Speaker 4>and apparently we have a new NXT champion in Oba Femi.

<v Speaker 4>a fall away slam to both Leon Slater and Javon Evans.

<v Speaker 4>Miles Born. And like I said last week in my
<v Speaker 4>prediction that Javon Evans would be the person to win
<v Speaker 4>the Men's Iron Savivor Challenge, that is what took place
<v Speaker 4>as Javan Evans scored two pinfall victories in this Men's
<v Speaker 4>Iron Survivor Challenge match to now be the number one

<v Speaker 2>Nights Made event. Now, the second thing I want to
<v Speaker 2>mention is in regards to Joe Hendry's tag team partner
<v Speaker 2>fiahal As. She made a ring appearance doing the course
<v Speaker 2>of Blake Monroe's announcement of an open challenge for her
<v Speaker 2>NXT Women's North American Championship. So we had the entire
<v Speaker 2>woman's NXT roster interrupt Blake Monroe as each of them
<v Speaker 2>were vying to be the one to compete for her championship.
<v Speaker 2>Blake tells them one at a time, ladies, one at
<v Speaker 2>a time, as she screams for the NXT general manager
<v Speaker 2>Ava Rain to intervene to help her out. However, from behind,
<v Speaker 2>we get theahal As she attacks Blake Monroe and puts
<v Speaker 2>her in the komorock. And I guess you could say
<v Speaker 2>this might be a future matchup of thea Haal versus
<v Speaker 2>Blake Monroe for the Women's North American Championship, Now to
<v Speaker 2>Joe Hendry. Joe Hendry was included in a backstage segment
<v Speaker 2>alongside Tenas Leon Slater, Milesbourne and Dark States owned the
<v Speaker 2>Olynics as they were meeting with the Stejohn manager Ava Rain.
<v Speaker 2>They were all bickering and vying to be the new
<v Speaker 2>number one contender for the NXT Championship since all four
<v Speaker 2>of them were tied with the one pinfull score doing
<v Speaker 2>the Men's Iron Survival Challenge from last week Saturday at
<v Speaker 2>NXD deadline. Therefore, Ava Rain made the announcement that next
<v Speaker 2>week on NXT there will be a final four way

<v Speaker 5>least formulate something for Gunther because Gunther still relatively young,
<v Speaker 5>and what better way to continue his momentum than having
<v Speaker 5>him beat John Cena in his retirement match. So for
<v Speaker 5>Sena there's absolutely nothing. For Gunther, you could at least
<v Speaker 5>create something because again, John Cia, you talk.
<v Speaker 6>About a legend.
<v Speaker 5>There's absolutely nothing that can happen in this match that
<v Speaker 5>would affect John Cena's legacy at all.
<v Speaker 6>Nothing.
<v Speaker 5>So for Gunther, I think he could be damaged by
<v Speaker 5>this loss. There's no title on the line, but still
<v Speaker 5>to say you beat John Cena in his final match,
<v Speaker 5>something to put on your resume. For John Cena to
<v Speaker 5>say he won, who cares? I mean, whin loser job.
<v Speaker 5>People are just emotional about his his his leaving active
<v Speaker 5>in ring competition. So for gun Through there's actually quite
<v Speaker 5>a bit more to gain than there is for John Cena,
<v Speaker 5>who has absolutely nothing other than a feel good moment.
