All right, Dusty Mays, he's done an incredible job. I think Uh Howard one of the guys from the Fab five for Michigan. He was a head ball coach for the Michigan basketball team beforehand. At some point everyone's saying, oh, that fallow, that the miners will be coming. I'm thinking to myself, I hope that God Nebraska's undefeated. When Michigan and Nebraska play each other. Turns out, Michigan was one of the had to hold their end of the bargain because Mission's got one loss. Nebraska is undefeated at this point, and now we're going into a nice little knockdown drag out fight in the barn and ann Arbor, Michigan. Hell of a player, but he's eighty eight and out the gate. Enter in Mike Vrabel. Mike Vrabel, a guy who was at the Tennessee Titans. Hey pouring out for the Tennessee Titans. They might be our Jim Beaman Lemonade segment. Even though they didn't make the play five bit. We might have to talk about them in a minute. But these guys had something beautiful. These guys us jack us, look at me us. We had something beautiful at the Tennessee Titans. And it's this cigarette smoking, vape sucking Daddy Raves. That's the guy who's getting it done for us. He has a down year. In twenty twenty two, Amy Amstrong says, get your ass out of here. Whatever happened. I know he went in for a meeting and talk about an extension came in. Rumors were strowing about verbel want a little bit more power, similar to Billy O wanted when he was at the Houston Texans. That did not work out. They send him out of here. They enter in Callahan, they enter in ran ran Carthin. Those guys are now gone. Those guys are now gone, and Robert sala is the head coach of the Tennessee Titans. But it's not about you, guys. It's not about us right now. It's about the New England Patriots. And it's about this spoiled fucking fan base, this spoiled masshole fan base that I'll be honest with them. I love this fan base the way. They're just disrespectful. They are like self entitled their roots. They only care about their teams. Our teams are the best, and god damn it, boys, they're right. They just even when they're down, they're not down for long. And the New England Patriots are in the Super Bowl after beating the Denver Broncos in the AC Championship. In a year two, Drake May with a band of misfits, essentially the Indiana Hoosiers of college football, in a way of hey, we don't know a lot of expectations on these guys. The roster's not put together the way it's supposed to be. Yet somehow, some way, these guys come out of nowhere and absolutely take it to everybody. They would go start one to two early in the season and then rattle off a dozen wins like or one on one whatever it was, dude, it was. It's incredible to see the journey that they've had. Rabel goes over and just as like defensive consultant with the Cleveland Browns for a year, he messes around the minute that New England job opens up, It's like, there's not even gonna be We're not even a new interview process. They might have done one or two to check a box to make sure everyone looks to feel as good about it. At the end of the day, that was Rabel's job. He comes in listen twenty eighteen, Rabel comes to the Titans and the guy is a complete asshole. And there's Rabel. We'll talk about this in his teammates, So a New England Patriot person that's in the building, whether you're a player, coach, whatever. He talks about losers, losers getting small groups and they talk shit about the situation that they're dealing with. Mike Rabel. Had a lot of guys in small groups talking about Mike Rabel in twenty eighteen about how much this guy sucks, all like, hey, he's such an asshole. He grinds us in the ground all those things. But regardless of what you we thought about him in twenty eighteen, twenty nineteen was a whole lot better and just get and then he just eases up, starts being in the players coach, starts teaching the culture, and once he establishes the culture, buddy, it's incredible the things he's able to do. And the fact that these kids, these guys, these gentlemen, these men for the New England Patriots have been able to sit back, take in rabel his messaging, his culture, and turn around their franchise and the time they have it is incredible. Sherm wrote himself a little note here. Will be the fifth coach in NFL history to win a Super Bowl his second season at a team. That's unbelievable. If if season in his first season, will be the fifth coach in NFL history to win Super Bowl his first season at a team. I don't know why I said. Second, that's hey. Their opponent in the AFC Championship, Sean Payton, his ability to bring boys in, get stuff going. That defense is absolutely incredible. Like they are a top to bottom fantastic defense with certain Cooper Nick Benito. Yeah, they have guys all over the field that are just absolutely crushing. At twenty four to seven, they also didn't have a whole lot of expi expectations going the season. This is where Will Comfort would chime and go, I saw him, I saw I'm all. I was talking about the Denver Broncos all the time. No doubt Will did see what they were able to do. Bow Knicks. Incredible professional individual. He's like thirty seven years old. As a rookie, he comes in, he does a great job. The second year, halfway through the season, we're looking at him going, man, they really don't start fast. They don't have a whole lot like really their second half team, I don't know if they can really sustain that unless their defense just continues to play at a high level. As their defense kind of cooled off late in the year, that's when the Broncos offense really started to pick it up and you saw a new evolution of Bo Knicks throwing the ball deeper down the field doing a great job. Wasn't just hitting the bubble screens over and over again.

Speaker 1: Harvey, his emergence of premier running back, has done a great job. That offensive line led by Garrett Bulls, those guys have done a great job protecting the quarterback. All year, things looked like it was the Broncos year. Things looked like they had the path, the easiest path to the super Bowl. But having all their games at home, they obviously get the bye week because they were the one seed. They go in the Divisional round against the Buffalo Bills, which we knew was probably gonna be like the hardest path. Knowing that Josh Allen was sitting there, even though he had an inferior roster or surrounding him, It's like, that's the best football player in the NFL right now, Josh Allen, regardless of who your MVP is, that's the best football player. And tragedy strikes the second to last player of the game. As they roll out to the left bow, Knicks gets tackled in the bail backfield, jogs up. We all think nothing of it, right they go, they kick a field goal. They're going to the AFC Championship. People are hooting and hallowing. Broncos are yelling that we're back. Fuck everybody else, We're the absolute best. And then all of a sudden, Sean Payton walks up to the podium and just hey, in the phrase of would you rather have seven of the chests or one of the head? Sean Payton gave us one of the head right away, walks up says, hey, listen, I got bad news. Bow knicks broken ankle. He's out for the rest of the season. The world seems like it stopped turning for a moment, especially for the Broncos country, Bronco fan base. For that, our heart goes out to him. Now, what do you do when you're in that situation? Rights as a former player, when guys would go down, Marcus Smarrio, when he would broke his inkle against the Jaguars, When Derrick Henry broke his foot against the Colts and still had sixty six yards rushing, he stayed in the game. By the way, what an episoute stud for that. There's a rallying cry that takes place in the locker room. Guys will walk in and the coach will say, hey, this is the situation, this is what's gonna happen. He's going to point to the individual that's taking over for that person, whether it be I don't even know who was it for the Titans, Blaine Gabbert, or you know, a committee of running backs for Derick Henry. You guys are going to handle it. Nothing's changing. The expectation doesn't change for you, guys. We've got to keep moving forward. So we go into this week looking up Stidham. This guy gets drafted by the Patriots. He's playing the Patriots. Josh McDaniels apparently loved the guy when he came out. He's got eight touchdowns versus eight interceptions, so guy's really fifty to fifty. He's well rounded in that sense. Walks out. Did you guys see this man walk into the tunnel? Did you see him take place with that little jacket on there with a beaver pelt. Handsome, handsome boy, handsome guy. Where did he go to school? He went to Auburn and then Baylor. Yeah, and you know at Auburn, them ladies over there like you Stanham, you come here. Yeah, the ladies were taking roast sparks. They saw. That's how it was when we were shout out roars. But listen, Steadham walks into the building. He's looking like, yeah, you look at it, and the men ever a mena everywhere, like day on this dude. If he can win this game, it might be over for all of us. This might be the next one, might be the next Jared Beeman out there, you know, sneaking all the ladies. So this man walks out on the field toat's it. He's got one sleeve, one blue sleeve. He's got a nice little swag about him, a little feather coming out of the back of his helmet. And the first three passes boys over three yikes, right, yikes of daisies. We're not feeling good, like okay, handsome, not a good ballplayer. That's kind of the thought process going on. Halfway through the first quarter. Not good at football, all good, you have another path in life. Comes out after that. He goes six for seven fifty eight yards, starts dicing people up left and right, killing people, hitting the bubbles. We're like, all right, this guy throws short passes, a little bit, intermediate passes. All of a sudden, th there's a long bomb goes up, Hey, look at me, goes up seven zero. That's kind of stuff that gets juiced up a little bit now and you're like, oh, damn, how does somebody have this handsomeness with this ability to throw the football? Snowfalls? Right? Drake may happens all right? Will Campbell has himself a better game against Nick Benito. That offensive line has a better game. Stevenson, who's the running back? Can I get Raman j Stevenson? Twenty five carries for seventy one yards? Is that what it was? Guy out there? Not a whole lot of yards behind that ass, but the fact that he can just go downhill over and over and over essentially hit him with the beast mode, right, hit a motherfucker in the face. You're not gonna have a whole lot of problems. That's the kind of operation that Stevenson happened. So to the New England Patriots, we see congratulations to the Denver Broncos, and for our Gym Beams segment, we will say, presented to you by Jim Beam, we will say to the Never Broncos, we love you boys. We think you got a hell of a future ahead of you. It's absolutely heartbreaking, and Sean Payton is going to tell these guys in the exit interview just because he got there once doesn't mean you're gonna get there again. If you're able to keep your star player bo Nix healthy throughout the season, I have no doubt in my mind that you guys will be back in the same position next year, vine for a spot to go to the Super Bowl sixty one.
